- 0:01Speaker 1: Senate. Democrats are now threatening to vote down key funding bills,
- 0:06Speaker 1: particularly homeland security funding unless changes are made. What does
- 0:10Speaker 1: this mean another government shut down? The White House and
- 0:15Speaker 1: Republicans are rejecting the Democrats' demands for what they say
- 0:20Speaker 1: is decoupling homeland security funding, which increases the chances of
- 0:23Speaker 1: a partial government shut down. Now, the Democrats opposition comes
- 0:28Speaker 1: amid fallout from controversial actions, they say by federal immigration agents.
- 0:34Speaker 1: But critics argue this decision is creating political chaos and
- 0:37Speaker 1: uncertainty now in the budget process, and the standoff over
- 0:42Speaker 1: the DHS funding means essential agencies like the Pentagon and
- 0:48Speaker 1: education programs could face lapses in funding if the Democrats
- 0:53Speaker 1: choose to shut down the government yet again. Now, opponents
- 0:57Speaker 1: argue Democrats are playing hardball politics rather than negotiating, which
- 1:02Speaker 1: could also hurt their standing with the public, and we
- 1:05Speaker 1: can trust in the government operations in general under their leadership.
- 1:09Speaker 1: There's also a bigger part of this Democrats going all
- 1:13Speaker 1: in to attack law and order, to attack law enforcement,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and now wanting to deliberately defund law enforcement. Is this
- 1:23Speaker 1: really the message they want to be sending to voters
- 1:25Speaker 1: ahead of the midterms? Apparently they say yes, Now, how
- 1:30Speaker 1: likely is it that we will have a government shutdown?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Senator Ted Cruz and I sat down and talked about
- 1:35Speaker 1: exactly that, and here's what he said about his prediction
- 1:39Speaker 1: of will we actually have another partial government shutdowns? And
- 1:45Speaker 1: what we're now witnessing is democrats, I think feel like
- 1:50Speaker 1: this issue plays to their base, it engages their base,
- 1:53Speaker 1: and they're now going to use it to justify another
- 1:59Speaker 1: government shut down. This is my opinion. I want to
- 2:02Speaker 1: get your thoughts on it because I think that we're
- 2:05Speaker 1: headed there for this reason where they're like, hey, we
- 2:08Speaker 1: have a justification now for what we want to get
- 2:10Speaker 1: rid of ice. When we get rid of ice, funding
- 2:12Speaker 1: funding for them? Is that wor' showing the government down over?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Are you seeing the way I'm seeing it now that
- 2:17Speaker 1: this is where we're headed.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yes, But before we get to shut down, I want
- 2:21Speaker 2: to point out because politically, it's more than just their base. Yes,
- 2:25Speaker 2: it is true that these violent protests energize their base, drives,
- 2:29Speaker 2: turn out, drives, fundraising, The crazies get all the more
- 2:33Speaker 2: excited the more violence the left foments, But it's about
- 2:37Speaker 2: more than that. It's also about totally capturing the news cycle,
- 2:42Speaker 2: taking the fraud and corruption out of the news cycle.
- 2:45Speaker 2: That's a totally separate objective that is critically important to them.
- 2:49Speaker 2: But there is a third one ben which is not
- 2:52Speaker 2: the base of the Democrat Party, but rather moderate women,
- 2:56Speaker 2: soccer moms who may not be deeply politically engaged, and
- 3:01Speaker 2: historically moderate suburban women have been a swing vote. If
- 3:05Speaker 2: you look in the last decade, the two most predominant
- 3:10Speaker 2: political movements we've seen is that we've seen number one,
- 3:13Speaker 2: blue collar voters moving right. That's moved Midwestern states, states
- 3:19Speaker 2: like Ohio have gotten a lot red. They used to
- 3:21Speaker 2: be purple. Ohio's now read. But we've also seen suburban voters,
- 3:25Speaker 2: particularly suburban women, moving left, and that's moved what used
- 3:29Speaker 2: to be red states to purple states like Georgia and Arizona,
- 3:33Speaker 2: both of them. Just a few years ago they had
- 3:35Speaker 2: four Republican senators from Georgia and Arizona. We now have
- 3:39Speaker 2: four Democrat senators from Georgia and Arizona. The reason is
- 3:43Speaker 2: suburban women in Atlanta and Phoenix move left. The Democrats
- 3:48Speaker 2: of the media are seizing on this to tell stories
- 3:52Speaker 2: and understand they're looking for not the person that is
- 3:54Speaker 2: following every development, but just the person who's living their
- 3:59Speaker 2: life and taking in what's happening and seeing a headline.
- 4:04Speaker 2: You know, Ice shoots mother of three, Ice shoots ICU nurse,
- 4:11Speaker 2: Ice apprehends five year old child. That story was everywhere,
- 4:15Speaker 2: by the way, it's a total lie. It's absolutely false.
- 4:18Speaker 2: In fact, what happened is Ice came to apprehend the father.
- 4:22Speaker 2: The father ran off and abandoned the five year old child.
- 4:25Speaker 2: And and understandably, Ice was not going to leave a
- 4:28Speaker 2: five year old child alone on the.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Street in the death outside. Yeah, I mean they would
- 4:33Speaker 1: leave alone, period. But the but the argument that the
- 4:36Speaker 1: left has made, I'm like, let me get this straight.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You guys want the kid to be left alone just
- 4:40Speaker 1: to wander the streets of a city and be alone.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's insane. And then in the winter when they could
- 4:45Speaker 1: freeze death, that's also insane.
- 4:47Speaker 3: They, by the way, found the woman, the mother of
- 4:49Speaker 3: the child.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It is reported they found the mother of the child.
- 4:53Speaker 2: They knocked on the door, tried to give the child
- 4:55Speaker 2: back to her. She wouldn't take him. She closed the
- 4:57Speaker 2: door and said no, I won't take him. And so look,
- 5:01Speaker 2: the purpose of that story is not actually factual journalism.
- 5:06Speaker 2: It is entirely about telling a story to pull on
- 5:09Speaker 2: people's heartstrings and to cause suburban voters who are not
- 5:14Speaker 2: paying close attention to say, oh, this has gone too far.
- 5:18Speaker 2: If they're shooting moms and nurses and arresting little kids,
- 5:21Speaker 2: clearly it's gone too far. This is a political campaign,
- 5:26Speaker 2: and tragically it's a political campaign that is costing people's lives.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But because look, the political campaign is having some real effect,
- 5:34Speaker 2: it is, it is having a fact We saw, you know,
- 5:38Speaker 2: John Kasik speaking of suburban women. We saw John Kasik
- 5:45Speaker 2: put out a whole video saying, you know, oh, oh,
- 5:49Speaker 2: I'm just I'm hurting so much. We must stop. We
- 5:52Speaker 2: must stop arresting illegals. You know, Unfortunately that's the target audience.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And in the world of politics, we've got to realize
- 6:02Speaker 2: that we've got to confront the bad stories with stories
- 6:06Speaker 2: that are compelling, and it's where tone matters, and I
- 6:09Speaker 2: would encourage Look, the administration is doing a fantastic job
- 6:13Speaker 2: securing the border. Illegal crossings have dropped ninety nine percent.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It's phenomenal.
- 6:19Speaker 2: They're doing a terrific job going and arresting violent criminals
- 6:23Speaker 2: murderers and rapists and gang bangers, which is why we've
- 6:27Speaker 2: seen the murder rate drop twenty percent. We covered that
- 6:29Speaker 2: in the last podcast, that the murder rate has dropped
- 6:32Speaker 2: twenty percent across the country.
- 6:34Speaker 3: That's a massive success.
- 6:36Speaker 2: What I think the administration could do better is the
- 6:40Speaker 2: tone with which they're describing this. That immediately when an
- 6:44Speaker 2: incident like this happens, they come out guns blazing that
- 6:49Speaker 2: we took out a violent terrorist, hooray. And the problem is,
- 6:54Speaker 2: particularly for someone not paying attention, if you're being told
- 6:58Speaker 2: this is a mom of three and there's no indication
- 7:00Speaker 2: you know, she's not waving an ISIS flag or doesn't
- 7:04Speaker 2: have a suicide vest around her. Yeah, escalating the rhetoric
- 7:08Speaker 2: doesn't help, and it actually loses credibility. And so I
- 7:13Speaker 2: would encourage the administration to be more measured, to recognize
- 7:17Speaker 2: the tragedy and to say.
- 7:18Speaker 3: We don't want anyone anyone's lives to be lost.
- 7:22Speaker 2: And the politicians who are pouring gasoline onto this fire,
- 7:27Speaker 2: they need to stop.
- 7:29Speaker 1: For the next sixty seconds. Can you hit pause on
- 7:31Speaker 1: your life and just think about this. Every day, millions
- 7:35Speaker 1: of children face a crushing reality, a constant defeating message
- 7:39Speaker 1: echoes and their empty stomachs and their desperate eyes. It
- 7:43Speaker 1: is that you don't matter. Poverty doesn't just steal food
- 7:46Speaker 1: and shelter. It steals hope, dignity, and the fundamental belief
- 7:50Speaker 1: that they are loved. But there's another message, one of
- 7:53Speaker 1: boundless love and hope. Through Compassion International, you can change
- 7:57Speaker 1: the child's story forever. You can sponsored child just like
- 8:01Speaker 1: I do. You can introduce them to a loving heavenly father.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You can equip them with education, healthcare, and the support
- 8:08Speaker 1: to overcome poverty. This isn't just about one child. It's
- 8:11Speaker 1: about transforming families, revitalizing communities, and changing nations. It's about
- 8:17Speaker 1: proving that every child truly matters. So help give a
- 8:21Speaker 1: child a future, give them hope. Visit Compassion dot com today.
- 8:26Speaker 1: That's Compassion dot com. Not only is the Democratic Party
- 8:31Speaker 1: looking for an opportunity, so is the media. And they
- 8:34Speaker 1: now believe that like this civil war and hold this
- 8:37Speaker 1: flag up is you know and planet is we as Democrats,
- 8:40Speaker 1: we're willing to shut down the government to defund ice.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's gonna be the premise, is what I've been told
- 8:47Speaker 1: from many of in the media that I've talked to
- 8:48Speaker 1: and some of my friends on the left. They're like, yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 1: we're gonna shut down. We're justified this time way more
- 8:53Speaker 1: than we were last time. Last time we really weren't
- 8:55Speaker 1: justified very much and shuting down the government, but we
- 8:57Speaker 1: tried it anyway. Now they actually fill in bolden, do
- 9:01Speaker 1: you think a government shutdown is going to come?
- 9:02Speaker 3: Yes or no? Yes? One percent? Yes, okay, and it's going.
- 9:07Speaker 1: To be tied to this issue, right, yes, yes, one
- 9:09Speaker 1: hundred percent.
- 9:10Speaker 2: The last government shutdown, which was the longest government shutdown
- 9:13Speaker 2: in US history, Chuck Schumer and the Democrats forced through
- 9:18Speaker 2: really to show his radical base that he was fighting
- 9:20Speaker 2: because he's scared of being primary by AOC. But they
- 9:24Speaker 2: also did it to tee up the issue of healthcare
- 9:26Speaker 2: and the cost of health insurance premiums. Mind you, the
- 9:30Speaker 2: premiums have skyrocketed because of Obamacare, because of their policy.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But they did the shutdown. It was entirely with an
- 9:37Speaker 2: eye towards November that they say, look, we fought like
- 9:40Speaker 2: crazy on health insurance, and the mean Republicans didn't give
- 9:44Speaker 2: us what we wanted, which was fifty billion dollars in
- 9:46Speaker 2: corporate welfare subsidies. To giant health insurance companies and that's
- 9:50Speaker 2: why your health insurance has gone up. Now that's factually wrong,
- 9:55Speaker 2: but it is a political narrative they're telling here. They
- 10:00Speaker 2: are going to tell the narrative, we will not fund
- 10:03Speaker 2: ICE under any circumstances, and we will shut the government down.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And by the way, the media covered for them so much.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Their base was so happy with the shutdown. I think
- 10:14Speaker 2: they perceive very few downsides to shutting the government down. Now,
- 10:19Speaker 2: this shutdown that will happen on January thirtieth will likely
- 10:23Speaker 2: be smaller than the previous one.
- 10:25Speaker 3: And the reason is we've funded Still.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Explain Explain why, because does that mean they're being more
- 10:30Speaker 1: strategic in how they're doing it, or explain that.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Now between the two we have passed some appropriations bills.
- 10:37Speaker 2: So once appropriations bills are passed, those departments are funding,
- 10:42Speaker 2: so AG that the Department of Agriculture is funded, and
- 10:45Speaker 2: so everything that goes through AG is funded, CJS, Commerce,
- 10:50Speaker 2: Justice and Science that is funded. Energy is funded, water
- 10:53Speaker 2: is funded, Interior environment, ledge branch, military construction in the VA,
- 11:00Speaker 2: all of those are funded. So the shutdown will not
- 11:03Speaker 2: impact any of those. So what would a shut down impact.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It would impact Defense, the Department of War, it would
- 11:10Speaker 2: impact the Department of Labor, it would impact HHS, it
- 11:14Speaker 2: would impact the Department of Education, It would impact the
- 11:17Speaker 2: Department of Transportation.
- 11:19Speaker 3: And Housing in urban Development.
- 11:20Speaker 2: It would impact the SEC, the SCC, the independent agencies,
- 11:25Speaker 2: And it would impact DHS, the Department of Homeland Security,
- 11:30Speaker 2: and ICE directly under that. And I think you're going
- 11:33Speaker 2: to see the Democrats force a shut down. And actually
- 11:36Speaker 2: you don't have to take my words for it. Here,
- 11:38Speaker 2: let me read for you what Schumer tweeted out to
- 11:41Speaker 2: the world. He said, quote, what's happening in Minnesota is
- 11:45Speaker 2: appalling and unacceptable in any American city. Democrats sought common
- 11:51Speaker 2: sense reforms in the Department of Homeland Security spending bill,
- 11:54Speaker 2: but because of Republican's refusal to stand up to President Trump,
- 11:58Speaker 2: the DHS bill woefully inadequate to rein in the abuses
- 12:02Speaker 2: of ICE.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I will vote no.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to
- 12:09Speaker 2: the Appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included there.
- 12:14Speaker 2: He is explicitly, unequivocally threatening a shutdown. I think that's
- 12:19Speaker 2: what we're gonna see come Janus, and by.
- 12:20Speaker 1: The way, He's not the only one. So Elizabeth Warren
- 12:23Speaker 1: was responding to another tweet. I want to read it.
- 12:25Speaker 1: It was just the tweet she was responding to to
- 12:28Speaker 1: give it context. Says reminder, DHS legislation that funds ICE
- 12:32Speaker 1: at current levels without policy restrictions is in the Senate
- 12:36Speaker 1: and needs sixty votes to pass. Deadline is next Friday.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren puts that out there with this and she says, quote,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm a hell no, not a penny more for ICE.
- 12:45Speaker 1: We should not fund this terror. So she's also jumping
- 12:50Speaker 1: on board with this as well. And then there's other
- 12:52Speaker 1: centers have come out and so this is why I
- 12:55Speaker 1: say this isn't a one off. This is clearly a
- 12:58Speaker 1: coordinated attack, is the best way I can describe it.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Well, here's Chris Murphy on CNN, give a listen.
- 13:04Speaker 4: I want to ask about what you're leader. Chuck Schumber says,
- 13:09Speaker 4: the Democrats are going to vote against a government funding
- 13:11Speaker 4: package that is before the Senate soon and it includes
- 13:14Speaker 4: money for the Department of Homeland Security. How is that
- 13:17Speaker 4: going to play out?
- 13:19Speaker 5: Well, we can't vote to fund this lawless Department of
- 13:23Speaker 5: Homeland Security.
- 13:24Speaker 1: We can't fund this lawless Department of Homeland Security center.
- 13:27Speaker 1: That's pretty bold words if you ask me by a
- 13:29Speaker 1: center that clearly is like, hey, we're all on the
- 13:31Speaker 1: same page. This is what we're doing now.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah. Look that's the position of every Democrat.
- 13:37Speaker 2: And understand, this is the same position that is abolish
- 13:40Speaker 2: ICE and abolish the police. They're saying they're going to
- 13:43Speaker 2: refuse to fund the Department of Homeland Security, the department
- 13:48Speaker 2: that is charged with keeping us safe, with securing our border,
- 13:52Speaker 2: with protecting our families, and the Democrats are saying we
- 13:56Speaker 2: won't fund it.
- 13:57Speaker 3: So what will happen.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I think there's a chance we see Congress put together
- 14:01Speaker 2: an appropriations package that funds everything but DHS, that that
- 14:06Speaker 2: might be that might pass. In terms of DHS, I
- 14:12Speaker 2: think the Democrats are going to force a shutdown, and
- 14:14Speaker 2: I think they want it to be extended and in order.
- 14:17Speaker 3: This is not a short one.
- 14:18Speaker 1: To be clear, you think they want this to be painful,
- 14:21Speaker 1: almost like they're running in the midterms on this issue
- 14:24Speaker 1: of ICE.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I think they want to be able to tell their base,
- 14:28Speaker 2: we are defunding ICE, we are abolishing ICE, we are
- 14:32Speaker 2: against law enforcement, we're with the criminals.
- 14:35Speaker 3: That's that's their messaging.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It isn't all out civil war. That's what the Democrats
- 14:41Speaker 1: said they wanted in Minnesota. But now Tim Waltz is
- 14:45Speaker 1: called President Donald Trump. And here's what we've been told
- 14:48Speaker 1: about that conversation, Donald Trump putting up on true social
- 14:52Speaker 1: The Governor Tim Waltz called me with a request to
- 14:55Speaker 1: work together with respect to Minnesota. It was a very
- 14:58Speaker 1: good call, and we actually seem to be on a
- 15:01Speaker 1: similar wavelength. I told Governor Waltz that I would have
- 15:04Speaker 1: Tom Homan call him and that what we're looking for
- 15:08Speaker 1: are any and all criminals that they have in their possession.
- 15:13Speaker 1: This is exactly, by the way, what hundreds of other
- 15:16Speaker 1: cities do when they catch a criminals, a legal immigrant,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and then they work with federal authorities ice to make
- 15:22Speaker 1: sure that they are taken into custody. That's not what
- 15:26Speaker 1: they do in sanctuary cities or states like Minnesota. Back
- 15:29Speaker 1: to the President's own words, the governor very respectfully understood that,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and I will be speaking to him in the near future.
- 15:38Speaker 1: He was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and so am I. We have such tremendous success in Washington,
- 15:45Speaker 1: d C. Memphis, Tennessee and New Orleans, Louisiana and virtually
- 15:50Speaker 1: every other place we have touched, and even in Minnesota,
- 15:54Speaker 1: crime is way down, but both Governor Waltz and I
- 15:58Speaker 1: want to make it better.
- 16:00Speaker 3: President Donald J. Trump.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Now that wasn't all that the President had to say
- 16:04Speaker 1: on this issue. He also hours before that put out
- 16:08Speaker 1: this statement on true social I'm sending Tom home into
- 16:12Speaker 1: Minnesota tonight. He has not been involved in the area,
- 16:16Speaker 1: but knows and likes many of the people there. Tom
- 16:19Speaker 1: is tough, but fair and report directly to me. Separately,
- 16:23Speaker 1: a major investigation is going on with respect to the
- 16:26Speaker 1: massive twenty billion dollar plus welfare fraud that has taken
- 16:30Speaker 1: place in Minnesota and is at least partially responsible for
- 16:35Speaker 1: the violent, organized protests going on the streets. Additionally, the
- 16:39Speaker 1: DOJ and Congress are looking at Congresswoman Elamo mar who
- 16:44Speaker 1: left Somalia with nothing and is now reportedly worth more
- 16:47Speaker 1: than forty four million dollars. Time will tell all. Thank
- 16:52Speaker 1: you for your attention this matter. President Donald J.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Trump.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Now you put that together with the White House Press Secretary,
- 17:00Speaker 1: as she laid it out today from the podium at
- 17:03Speaker 1: the White House, exactly what the plan is and what
- 17:07Speaker 1: the presidents had to say about moving forward and keeping
- 17:10Speaker 1: all Americans safe. The President wants law and order, not
- 17:14Speaker 1: anarchy and chaos, which is what Governor Wald and Mayor
- 17:17Speaker 1: Fry have given us. Take a listen.
- 17:20Speaker 6: It is President Trump's hope and wish in demand for
- 17:23Speaker 6: the resistance in chaos to end today. That's why President
- 17:27Speaker 6: Trump spoke with Governor Walsh directly this morning, and he
- 17:31Speaker 6: has outlined a clear and simple path to restoring law
- 17:34Speaker 6: and order in Minnesota. Number One, Governor Waltz, Mayor Fry
- 17:39Speaker 6: and all Democrat leaders should turn over all criminal illegal
- 17:42Speaker 6: aliens currently incarcerated in their prisons in jails to federal authorities,
- 17:47Speaker 6: along with any illegal aliens with active warrants or known
- 17:51Speaker 6: criminal histories for immediate deportation. Number two, State and local
- 17:56Speaker 6: law enforcement must agree to turn over all illegal alas
- 18:00Speaker 6: millions who are arrested by local police. And then, thirdly,
- 18:04Speaker 6: local police must assist federal law enforcement in apprehending, in
- 18:09Speaker 6: detaining illegal aliens who are wanted for crimes, especially violent crimes.
- 18:15Speaker 6: If Governor Walls in Marefry implement these common sense cooperative
- 18:18Speaker 6: measures that I will add have already been implemented in
- 18:22Speaker 6: nearly every single other state across the country, Customs and
- 18:26Speaker 6: border patrol will not be needed to support ICE on
- 18:29Speaker 6: the ground in Minnesota. ICE in local law enforcement can
- 18:32Speaker 6: peacefully work together, as they are effectively doing in so
- 18:36Speaker 6: many other states and jurisdictions. Additionally, President Trump is calling
- 18:40Speaker 6: on the United States Congress to immediately pass legislation ending
- 18:44Speaker 6: sanctuary cities once and for all. American cities should be
- 18:49Speaker 6: safe sanctuaries for law abiding citizens only, not for dangerous
- 18:53Speaker 6: illegal alien criminals who broke our nation's laws and do
- 18:56Speaker 6: not belong here. We hope Governor Walls will contill, do
- 19:00Speaker 6: the right thing and continue to work with President Trump
- 19:03Speaker 6: to keep the American people safe. Following their call this morning,
- 19:07Speaker 6: Americans overwhelmingly want exactly what President Trump is delivering, strong
- 19:12Speaker 6: borders in strict immigration enforcement against the worst illegal aliens,
- 19:17Speaker 6: of which there are still hundreds of thousands to deport
- 19:20Speaker 6: from the interior of our country. The most peaceful way
- 19:23Speaker 6: to carry out this vital public safety mission is for
- 19:26Speaker 6: Republicans and Democrats to do it together, and for state
- 19:30Speaker 6: and local law enforcement to work together with federal law enforcement.
- 19:34Speaker 6: We want to let cops be cops. You wouldn't know
- 19:37Speaker 6: this continues to be a very popular policy position from
- 19:40Speaker 6: the biased media coverage over the course of the last
- 19:43Speaker 6: few days, but polling shows huge support for this exact thing.
- 19:47Speaker 6: President Trump is calling for. More than eighty percent of
- 19:50Speaker 6: Americans favor deporting illegal aliens convicted of violent crimes. A
- 19:55Speaker 6: country unable to deport criminals who enter it illegally is
- 19:59Speaker 6: no country at ours. The Open Border's agenda of Kamala
- 20:02Speaker 6: Harris Tim Walls into Democrats was already on the ballot
- 20:06Speaker 6: on November fifth, twenty twenty four, and it was resoundingly rejected.
- 20:11Speaker 6: President Trump will never back down from his promise to
- 20:13Speaker 6: deport violent, criminal illegal aliens and make America safe again.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Caroline Levit is absolutely right.
- 20:19Speaker 1: The President was elected to do exactly what he's been doing,
- 20:22Speaker 1: and that is getting the worst among us out of
- 20:25Speaker 1: this country that broke into this country illegally. And if
- 20:28Speaker 1: you go back to exactly what the White House put out,
- 20:31Speaker 1: they've made it clear and transparent what they are demanding.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Number One, that Governor Waltson, Mayor Fryme and all the
- 20:38Speaker 1: Democratic leaders should turn over all criminal legal aliens currently
- 20:42Speaker 1: incarcerated in their prisons and jails to federal authorities, along
- 20:46Speaker 1: with any illegal aliens with active warrants or known criminal
- 20:50Speaker 1: histories for immediate deportation. They also demand that state local
- 20:54Speaker 1: law enforcement must agree to turn over all illegal aliens
- 20:58Speaker 1: arrested by local police. Now, again, this is all exactly
- 21:01Speaker 1: what the law is state you must do. The President
- 21:05Speaker 1: is not asking for anything outside of what the state
- 21:08Speaker 1: of laws.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Say in this country.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Number three, local police must assist federal law enforcement and
- 21:14Speaker 1: apprehending and detaining illegal aliens wanted for crimes. Ice and
- 21:19Speaker 1: local law enforcement can peacefully work together, as they are
- 21:22Speaker 1: effectively doing in so many other states and jurisdictions to
- 21:27Speaker 1: remove violent criminals from American neighborhoods. There are literally hundreds
- 21:31Speaker 1: of cities in America where what you're witnessing in Minnesota
- 21:34Speaker 1: is not happening because law enforcement is working together. That's
- 21:37Speaker 1: what it's supposed to be. Many times when you see
- 21:40Speaker 1: tragedies where they say, they say local law enforcement and
- 21:44Speaker 1: federal law enforcement are working together. Right, local, state and
- 21:47Speaker 1: federal working together, especially when you're dealing with criminals. But
- 21:52Speaker 1: these individuals like Governor Walton mayor Fry refuse to do this.
- 21:57Speaker 1: They put illegal immigrant criminals ahead of a mayor American
- 22:00Speaker 1: citizens the other thing.
- 22:02Speaker 3: The President said.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Additionally, he's calling on the United States Congress to immediately
- 22:08Speaker 1: pass legislation ending sanctuary cities once and for all, because
- 22:13Speaker 1: he understands that every time there's a safe haven for
- 22:16Speaker 1: these types of criminals, it cost Americans their lives. It
- 22:20Speaker 1: allows them a safe haven to set up corruption and
- 22:23Speaker 1: also to set up crime syndicates. It also allows for
- 22:27Speaker 1: illegal immigrants to steal from American taxpayers. We've witnessed all
- 22:31Speaker 1: of that in Minneapolis and the surrounding area. American cities,
- 22:36Speaker 1: he said, should be safe sanctuaries for law abiding citizens only,
- 22:41Speaker 1: not for dangerous legal alien criminals who broke our laws
- 22:45Speaker 1: and do not belong here.
- 22:47Speaker 3: He said this, we.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Hope Governor Waltz will do the right thing and work
- 22:52Speaker 1: with President Trump and his team to keep America and
- 22:54Speaker 1: the American people safe. So it is clear now the
- 22:58Speaker 1: President of United States and America saying look, I am
- 23:01Speaker 1: representing you. Americans overwhelmingly did exactly that. An election day.
- 23:07Speaker 1: They wanted strong borders, They wanted strict immigration enforcement against
- 23:11Speaker 1: the worst criminal legal aliens, of which there are still
- 23:14Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands to deport from the interior of our country.
- 23:18Speaker 1: You wouldn't know it, the President says, from the bias
- 23:20Speaker 1: media coverage. The polls show huge support for this very thing.
- 23:25Speaker 1: More than eighty percent of Americans favor deporting legal aliens
- 23:28Speaker 1: convicted of violent crimes. The most peaceful way to carry
- 23:33Speaker 1: out this vital public safety mission, the White House says,
- 23:37Speaker 1: is for Republicans and Democrats to do it together, and
- 23:40Speaker 1: for local and state law enforcement to work with federal
- 23:43Speaker 1: law enforcement to get it done together. President Trump also
- 23:47Speaker 1: saying he will never back down from the promise to
- 23:50Speaker 1: deport all violent criminal legal aliens and make America safe again.
- 23:57Speaker 1: There are a lot of Americans that are asking this
- 24:00Speaker 1: question about what's happening in Minnesota, and that is hold
- 24:03Speaker 1: on a second. As we're talking about ICE and all
- 24:05Speaker 1: the attacks on ICE agents and the shootings, what happened
- 24:09Speaker 1: to the billions of dollars in fraud that was uncovered, Well,
- 24:14Speaker 1: we're looking into that. That's exactly what we know is
- 24:17Speaker 1: coming out of the FBI. But what the FBI Director
- 24:20Speaker 1: Cash Hotel also says is there's going to be a
- 24:23Speaker 1: full investigation into the active actions of the left wing
- 24:28Speaker 1: terrorist organizations that are doing much of this in Minnesota.
- 24:33Speaker 1: He said this earlier today on my good friend Benny
- 24:37Speaker 1: Johnson's show. Take a listen.
- 24:40Speaker 7: Okay, so this is breaking news. So you are you
- 24:43Speaker 7: and the FBI and perhaps other intelligence agencies are fully
- 24:46Speaker 7: aware of this coordinated effort to attack federal law enforcement,
- 24:50Speaker 7: to impede them and potentially insurrect and so there is
- 24:53Speaker 7: now an open investigation into the into these chats and
- 24:56Speaker 7: into this coordinated network. Yeah, some of them are fleeing.
- 25:00Speaker 7: Some of them are very scared now you can see
- 25:02Speaker 7: their chats. They're they're very, very worried now that they
- 25:05Speaker 7: have been exposed.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Well they should be.
- 25:08Speaker 5: If they broke the law, you should be worried. It's
- 25:11Speaker 5: that simple. If you didn't break the law, there's really
- 25:13Speaker 5: nothing to worry about on that front. And so you know,
- 25:16Speaker 5: we're going to continue as I've said from day one.
- 25:19Speaker 5: We will protect law enforcement. We will make sure they
- 25:22Speaker 5: have the security and safety to do their jobs. We
- 25:25Speaker 5: will also ensure that civilians have the ultimate protection of
- 25:28Speaker 5: the First and Second Amendment. But it is my job
- 25:31Speaker 5: to adjudicate the difference when there is a breaking a
- 25:33Speaker 5: federal statute or state law in the furtherance of a
- 25:37Speaker 5: crime or violence against law enforcement officers, and that's when
- 25:40Speaker 5: we step in.
- 25:41Speaker 3: And that is when we step in.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Now. He wasn't done there. He also talked about they've
- 25:47Speaker 1: identified the funders behind the left wing groups attacking ice
- 25:51Speaker 1: in Minnesota and what does that look.
- 25:53Speaker 7: Like, Ash, You've been doing And I saw some announcements
- 25:56Speaker 7: just this morning, some major arrests of some is the
- 26:01Speaker 7: left wing terrorists who've been attacking law enforcement, attacking federal agents,
- 26:05Speaker 7: stealing rifles. I believe it was an FBI rifle or
- 26:08Speaker 7: a DOJ rifle. In this January fourteenth attacking. Gives update
- 26:12Speaker 7: on that.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely, Look, we've always said that, you know, we
- 26:16Speaker 5: are going to defend absolutely your right to peacefully protest
- 26:19Speaker 5: under the First Amendment, and we're also always going to
- 26:22Speaker 5: uphold your right to bare arms in the Second Amendment.
- 26:24Speaker 5: That's never changed. We're going to equally protect all of
- 26:26Speaker 5: those The only thing we're not going to do is
- 26:29Speaker 5: allow any of those amendments to be violated when you
- 26:32Speaker 5: pursue a course of action of violence against law enforcement.
- 26:35Speaker 5: It's that simple. That position has never changed. So on
- 26:38Speaker 5: January fourteenth, you referenced a mob literally rioted and destroyed
- 26:43Speaker 5: federal police vehicles. Of course we jumped into action. We
- 26:46Speaker 5: caught and arrested four individuals responsible for breaking those vehicles
- 26:49Speaker 5: apart and dismandling them completely. But I have an update
- 26:53Speaker 5: for you. In that vehicle was not just firearms pitmich
- 26:56Speaker 5: thankfully we recovered, but was information about law enforcement agents
- 27:00Speaker 5: and their personal information. Individuals use that personal information on
- 27:05Speaker 5: the ground to issue threats of life against not only
- 27:09Speaker 5: FBI agents, but their wives and their children. So just
- 27:12Speaker 5: last night, the FBI arrested one of the individuals responsible
- 27:16Speaker 5: for making those threats to federal law enforcement. And we're
- 27:18Speaker 5: going to have more rest on that same matter today
- 27:22Speaker 5: and tomorrow.
- 27:22Speaker 3: We're not done.
- 27:23Speaker 5: And that's the distinction. You want to go out there
- 27:26Speaker 5: and peacefully protests, have at it, You want to go
- 27:28Speaker 5: out there and use your secondment and right to bear arms. Okay,
- 27:34Speaker 5: no problem, But look at the situation in Minnesota. This
- 27:37Speaker 5: is not something that just happened overnight. They've been riding recklessly,
- 27:40Speaker 5: destroying federal vehicles, ramming federal agents, literally hitting them, striking them,
- 27:45Speaker 5: and as you just highlighted, using coordinated attacks to threaten
- 27:48Speaker 5: their families none of that is lawful and none of
- 27:51Speaker 5: that will be tolerated. You do not get to touch
- 27:53Speaker 5: law enforcement. And we've got also investigations on going into
- 27:58Speaker 5: the funding of this. We've made actual, substantial progress. I
- 28:02Speaker 5: just can't publicize it yet, but we've actually found groups
- 28:06Speaker 5: and individuals responsible for funding it because it's not happening organically.
- 28:11Speaker 1: It's not happening organically. Now we also know the FBI
- 28:15Speaker 1: Director Cash Pattel, spoke about the investigation underway in the
- 28:20Speaker 1: Minnesota shooting. There's a lot of people that are obsessed
- 28:23Speaker 1: over that most recent shooting, and this is what he
- 28:26Speaker 1: had to say about the transparency aspect of that investigation.
- 28:30Speaker 8: Joining me now with more on the investigation is the
- 28:33Speaker 8: director of the FBI, Cash Partel. Director. Thanks sorry much
- 28:37Speaker 8: for being here this morning. And I know that this
- 28:40Speaker 8: is a DHS investigation, but there is outrage across the
- 28:45Speaker 8: country that there is another killing. Someone is dead at
- 28:50Speaker 8: the hands of border patrol. What can you tell us?
- 28:52Speaker 5: Great to be with you, Maria, and look. Secretary Nome
- 28:54Speaker 5: stated perfectly, you do not get to attack law enforcement
- 28:58Speaker 5: officials in this country out any repercussions. You do not
- 29:01Speaker 5: get to do that. In Minnesota, LA, or anywhere else,
- 29:04Speaker 5: and the interagency is leading the charge out there. We've
- 29:07Speaker 5: already arrested with the interagency those that violated the Face
- 29:10Speaker 5: Act and impeded a priestful prayer in church. We've already
- 29:14Speaker 5: just last night arrested four more individuals involved in the
- 29:17Speaker 5: damage of government property that we saw the videos of online.
- 29:21Speaker 5: We've arrested in other individuals who've meant threats to law
- 29:24Speaker 5: enforcement online, So we are not messing around. It doesn't
- 29:27Speaker 5: have to be in person. If you threaten law enforcement
- 29:29Speaker 5: officials or civilians, we are going to come find you.
- 29:32Speaker 5: And as for this latest shooting, yes, DHS and HSI
- 29:35Speaker 5: are the lead and the FBI is processing the physical evidence.
- 29:38Speaker 5: So we're in possession of the firearm, which is going
- 29:39Speaker 5: to go to our laboratory. But as Secretary Nome said,
- 29:42Speaker 5: no one who wants to be peaceful shows up as
- 29:45Speaker 5: a protest with a firearm that is loaded with two
- 29:48Speaker 5: full magazines. That is not a peaceful protest. And you
- 29:52Speaker 5: do not get to touch law enforcement. You do that anywhere.
- 29:54Speaker 5: This FBI is going to be following leading the charge to.
- 29:57Speaker 8: Arrest those But how was he threatened? Border Patrol you've
- 30:01Speaker 8: collected the evidence. You said, right, you have the handgun
- 30:04Speaker 8: in your possession, that's right. And how was he using
- 30:07Speaker 8: that handgun in terms of threatening border patrol? What was
- 30:09Speaker 8: the threat? He had his camera right, he was filming it.
- 30:12Speaker 5: That's something that I let the DHS and the prosecutors
- 30:14Speaker 5: because they are the ones investigating in that case. I
- 30:16Speaker 5: don't want to stylize that evidence, but I trust the
- 30:19Speaker 5: men and women on the ground, who are trained professionals,
- 30:21Speaker 5: to only use it when it's absolutely necessary. And I
- 30:23Speaker 5: trust Secretary of NOMES leadership and DHS and HSI to
- 30:26Speaker 5: do the right thing as they've always done in these scenarios.
- 30:29Speaker 8: Christinomes said that the individual approached US Border patrol officers
- 30:33Speaker 8: with a nine millimeters semi automatic handgun. Was the gun
- 30:38Speaker 8: visible or did border patrol see the gun after they
- 30:42Speaker 8: shot him?
- 30:43Speaker 5: Again, all the moose pieces of the investigator are being
- 30:45Speaker 5: led by DHS and HSI, and I don't want to
- 30:47Speaker 5: comment on their ongoing investigation.
- 30:50Speaker 8: I understand, but you have the evidence. What can you
- 30:53Speaker 8: tell us about the evidence you collected?
- 30:54Speaker 5: It's center our AFTERBI laboratory where it'll be fingerpristed, will
- 30:58Speaker 5: use ballistics examination to kids to see if any casings
- 31:02Speaker 5: were fired, and we'll examine all the casings that were
- 31:04Speaker 5: found on the scene.
- 31:06Speaker 3: How much.
- 31:08Speaker 8: Of this has to do with some of the rhetoric
- 31:11Speaker 8: in your view, Just two weeks ago, the Governor Tim
- 31:15Speaker 8: Waltz told residents to get their phones and start filming
- 31:20Speaker 8: whatever is happening, and when they see border patrol, listen
- 31:23Speaker 8: to this. This is just two weeks ago from Governor
- 31:25Speaker 8: Tim Walt's watch.
- 31:28Speaker 9: If you see these ICE agents in your neighborhood, take
- 31:32Speaker 9: out that phone and hit record. Help us create a
- 31:34Speaker 9: database of the atrocities against Minnesotan's not just to establish
- 31:39Speaker 9: a record for posterity, but to bank evidence for future prosecution.
- 31:44Speaker 5: Your reaction, I think that type of rhetoric is exactly
- 31:46Speaker 5: what's leading to violence against law enforcement. That is totally
- 31:49Speaker 5: baseless and unnecessary. And for the state CEO to do
- 31:52Speaker 5: that against our law enforcement communities disgusting and revolting, and
- 31:56Speaker 5: it should be examined thoroughly as to anyone who's in
- 32:00Speaker 5: inciting this type of violence. It is absolutely improper, unlawful
- 32:04Speaker 5: and will not be tolerated any type of violence against
- 32:06Speaker 5: law enforcement.
- 32:07Speaker 8: But it's not stopping people are mad at ice and
- 32:12Speaker 8: want border patrol to stop. You saw what's happening right
- 32:16Speaker 8: now in Minneapolis. People are protesting in the streets, pushing
- 32:19Speaker 8: border patrol out. How will this end?
- 32:22Speaker 5: This will add thanks to President Trump's brilliant leadership to
- 32:24Speaker 5: always back the blue. Law enforcement will hold the day.
- 32:28Speaker 5: The constitution and the rule of law will hold the day.
- 32:31Speaker 5: It is a tough time right now, but I believe
- 32:33Speaker 5: that our law enforcement officials on the ground, DHS, FBI,
- 32:36Speaker 5: local police force across the country are moving in the
- 32:40Speaker 5: right direction, and we will call these rights and we
- 32:42Speaker 5: will prevail. That's what we always do.
- 32:44Speaker 1: You can hear Caysh Mattel making it clear they're not
- 32:47Speaker 1: going to back down. They're going to do what the
- 32:50Speaker 1: law says. They're going to go after the worst and
- 32:54Speaker 1: no matter what the Left tries to do, including mcgovernor
- 32:58Speaker 1: as you heard there just two weeks ago, in a
- 33:00Speaker 1: official address to the people in his state. I want
- 33:03Speaker 1: to be clear that was an official address, like what
- 33:06Speaker 1: you would see the equivalent from the Oval office. It
- 33:09Speaker 1: is truly incredible to watch a governor tell his citizens
- 33:16Speaker 1: to turn on law enforcement. If you want to know
- 33:20Speaker 1: how we got to where we are now with the
- 33:22Speaker 1: anarchy and the chaos and the streets and people's lives
- 33:24Speaker 1: that have been lost. It is because of this rhetoric.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Now the President is saying two things. One, we're going
- 33:33Speaker 1: to look into the corruption of the fraud. We're opening
- 33:37Speaker 1: investigations where we believe there needs to be investigations and
- 33:41Speaker 1: there will be accountability for these actions. He also says
- 33:44Speaker 1: we're going to look into people like elam Omar, and
- 33:47Speaker 1: we're not just gonna sit back and act like what
- 33:50Speaker 1: they've done had nothing to do with corruption either. They're
- 33:54Speaker 1: going on a fact finding mission and if Democrats are
- 33:59Speaker 1: upset about that, the question that should be asked now
- 34:03Speaker 1: is what are they hiding? I think we should know
- 34:06Speaker 1: who's paying.
- 34:07Speaker 3: For all of this.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Well, keep following this story. I can promise you that
