- 0:15Speaker 1: Millian things and the stubs. Good Steve listening to the other,
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please I don't join Jo. You gotta use that turn
- 1:10Speaker 1: you're going to do. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out. The water, the water
- 1:48Speaker 1: got me. Come come on your fad I show will
- 2:04Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the boys, come on
- 2:08Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:13Speaker 1: radio show. Yoh man. God is in the blessing business
- 2:17Speaker 1: all day every day. God got hundreds of millions of
- 2:21Speaker 1: blessings that he passes out every day. All I want
- 2:25Speaker 1: to do is be the recipient that I'm the recipient
- 2:31Speaker 1: of what He has for me. That's all I want.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I just want God's favor, and I go. I want
- 2:39Speaker 1: God's blessings. You know, of course I need his mercy
- 2:43Speaker 1: and his grace, but I just want his blessings and
- 2:48Speaker 1: his favor. I want. I want that in my life
- 2:51Speaker 1: because it does things for me that I'm absolutely incapable
- 2:55Speaker 1: of doing for myself. And I've been a recipient of
- 2:59Speaker 1: many of those, and you can be the recipient of
- 3:02Speaker 1: them too. You already are, really, really, you already are.
- 3:07Speaker 1: If you're getting up every morning, that's a blessed. If
- 3:11Speaker 1: you're getting one day closer to anything you're trying to accomplish,
- 3:14Speaker 1: that's a blessing. But now let me talk to you
- 3:18Speaker 1: about this part right here, folks, because this is the
- 3:20Speaker 1: part that messages people up a great deal. What happens
- 3:23Speaker 1: when you get off track? What is that? What does
- 3:28Speaker 1: that mean? When you get off track? See, I've been
- 3:33Speaker 1: off track. I can't tell you how many times, and
- 3:37Speaker 1: it happens in so many aspects of your life. But
- 3:40Speaker 1: what is it that makes getting off track so debilitating
- 3:45Speaker 1: to some people? You know, there are some people who
- 3:47Speaker 1: want to stay off track. They off course, they off
- 3:51Speaker 1: the dream, they own to something else. And you cannot
- 3:54Speaker 1: allow the fact that you've gotten off track to stop.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You can't tell you something. Everybody gets off track. There
- 4:06Speaker 1: are people who are living their life's dreams in spite
- 4:12Speaker 1: of getting off track. See what happens when you get
- 4:15Speaker 1: off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The simple
- 4:19Speaker 1: thing is just to get back on track. Now that's
- 4:21Speaker 1: that's But that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve? Yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
- 4:28Speaker 1: of the things that happened. See you get the here
- 4:32Speaker 1: come to nay sayers, some of them from the outside,
- 4:36Speaker 1: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:40Speaker 1: get off track. See, I told you, I told you,
- 4:45Speaker 1: you know you. You You start hearing that it's not
- 4:49Speaker 1: for you. Okay, this is all just because you got
- 4:55Speaker 1: off track. It's not for you. Okay, here's another one.
- 5:00Speaker 1: It ain't meant to be. You can hear it all,
- 5:03Speaker 1: you can say it. Well, I guess it's just not
- 5:06Speaker 1: meant to be. But let me ask you a question, though,
- 5:11Speaker 1: Who made the rule that when you get off track
- 5:15Speaker 1: you can't get back on? Who made that rule? Where
- 5:20Speaker 1: has that written that once you get off track you
- 5:23Speaker 1: can't get back on? See, because I'm gonna tell you something, folks,
- 5:28Speaker 1: there's no such rule. As a matter of fact, it's
- 5:32Speaker 1: quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit of a dream,
- 5:39Speaker 1: a goal and aspiration or a mission, it's going to
- 5:43Speaker 1: get off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed. They
- 5:47Speaker 1: are going to be days where you're not going to
- 5:50Speaker 1: get it right that are going to be days where
- 5:52Speaker 1: you feel like giving up. There's going to be days
- 5:54Speaker 1: when you're just gonna flat out get it wrong. That's
- 5:57Speaker 1: the journey. But let me tell you something. Every successful
- 6:01Speaker 1: person that I know, ever met, talked to, set out,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and chopped it up with, have shared one thing in common.
- 6:08Speaker 1: We all get off track. We all get it wrong
- 6:12Speaker 1: along the way. I don't care who the person is.
- 6:15Speaker 1: The president got it wrong along the way. Your pastor
- 6:20Speaker 1: got it wrong along the way. Qui Director Gui got
- 6:24Speaker 1: it wrong along the way. The principle at your school
- 6:27Speaker 1: got it wrong along the way. The valor victoria of
- 6:30Speaker 1: your class got it wrong along the way. The star
- 6:36Speaker 1: of the team got it wrong along the way. They've
- 6:40Speaker 1: all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
- 6:44Speaker 1: he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
- 6:48Speaker 1: got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
- 6:54Speaker 1: has any measure of success in every in every level
- 6:57Speaker 1: that you call success, however you want to label it,
- 7:00Speaker 1: has gotten off track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Listen to me, it is impossible not to get off
- 7:12Speaker 1: track in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It
- 7:18Speaker 1: is impossible. Don't you let nobody tell you that they
- 7:23Speaker 1: got through life unscathed, that they made it because they
- 7:26Speaker 1: was just so determined and I would let nothing turn
- 7:29Speaker 1: me back. Yeah, you might not have let nothing turn
- 7:32Speaker 1: you back because you hear all but you thought about it. Oh,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you thought about it on days when you was off track.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But see, people don't like to tell the whole story.
- 7:43Speaker 1: They just want you to think as much as you
- 7:45Speaker 1: can about them. So when they tell you the story,
- 7:48Speaker 1: they leave out the stuff alone. The way it was
- 7:51Speaker 1: just hard work and determination that got me here. No
- 7:54Speaker 1: it wasn't, No, it wasn't. It was the fact that
- 7:57Speaker 1: you got off track and the grace and mercy of
- 8:00Speaker 1: God allowed you to get back on. His forgiveness allowed
- 8:04Speaker 1: you to get back on because you would not believe
- 8:06Speaker 1: what some of the people have done. So when you
- 8:09Speaker 1: get off track, don't allow the naysayers outside and the
- 8:14Speaker 1: big naysayer inside, because let me tell you something, the
- 8:18Speaker 1: biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See, it
- 8:22Speaker 1: don't matter what other people say out there. It takes
- 8:25Speaker 1: some time for you to learn this, And I understand
- 8:27Speaker 1: because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I have a lot of naysayers out there, But I
- 8:32Speaker 1: ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones that
- 8:36Speaker 1: love me, for the ones that get me, for the
- 8:39Speaker 1: ones that understand what I'm really trying to do. And
- 8:42Speaker 1: so don't you be the one that doesn't allow yourself
- 8:49Speaker 1: to get back on track when you get off track, because,
- 8:52Speaker 1: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 8:54Speaker 1: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. So what you
- 9:04Speaker 1: started to diet at the beginning of the year, and
- 9:07Speaker 1: you already off, start another one, start over, try it again,
- 9:13Speaker 1: don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying, you can't
- 9:17Speaker 1: make it. But if you never give up the effort,
- 9:20Speaker 1: if you never give up and say it's over, it
- 9:22Speaker 1: ain't over. You heard just saying it ain't over to
- 9:25Speaker 1: the fat ladies saying I never invite her. She's not invited.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It ain't over to the fat ladies, saying I don't
- 9:35Speaker 1: know where the fat ladies stay. I am not sending
- 9:38Speaker 1: her an invitation to none of my events. She's not
- 9:41Speaker 1: welcome here. She didn't ask me a couple of times,
- 9:45Speaker 1: how come I never get invited? Because you're gonna start
- 9:48Speaker 1: saying it, and I ain't got time for that, all right,
- 9:52Speaker 1: stop inviting the fat lady to all your events. Thank you,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen. It is upon us a
- 10:04Speaker 1: new day. Thank God for it. Man, if you haven't
- 10:06Speaker 1: taken out, just a moment just to say, thank you,
- 10:09Speaker 1: Heavenly Father for waking me up today. Thank you for
- 10:12Speaker 1: a new opportunity, another chance to make a step forward,
- 10:17Speaker 1: to make my dreams come true. Man, oh man, oh man.
- 10:21Speaker 1: You know what I do, y'all. I have two goals
- 10:23Speaker 1: in mind that I've learned that has really helped me out.
- 10:27Speaker 1: You know, the two things I try to do, go
- 10:32Speaker 1: home and go to heaven. Then my two goals every
- 10:39Speaker 1: day go home and go to heaven. And I've discovered
- 10:45Speaker 1: in my life that the best way to go to
- 10:49Speaker 1: heaven is to first of all, go home. I have
- 10:54Speaker 1: learned that. Now, fellas, I ain't saying you need to
- 10:57Speaker 1: do it yourself, but if you have in trouble with
- 11:01Speaker 1: making it to him, and it's creating a couple of
- 11:05Speaker 1: dilemmas for you, start implementing the practice of going home
- 11:11Speaker 1: save you a lot of time. When did you come
- 11:14Speaker 1: upon this revelation? When well it started. I just labeled
- 11:20Speaker 1: it about a year ago, but I've been practicing it
- 11:25Speaker 1: for quite some time. But I was just discovering us
- 11:30Speaker 1: a man, and I went because you took your stupid
- 11:34Speaker 1: ass home when you didn't go home where you're wilding?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, well, you know, back in the day, the
- 11:43Speaker 1: object was to not go home God, and that created
- 11:49Speaker 1: a lot of opportunity to not go to heaven. We
- 11:54Speaker 1: got some stuff out here for you. You want to
- 11:56Speaker 1: be out here? Oh yeah, and I was part taken
- 12:00Speaker 1: in at all. Yeah, not all. Let's start with Vegas,
- 12:05Speaker 1: one of the greatest feel adult cities for grown people,
- 12:12Speaker 1: you know. Like I asked audiences sometimes, I say, how
- 12:15Speaker 1: many of you all never been to Vegas? I'm actually
- 12:19Speaker 1: shocked and a bit appalled as a number of people
- 12:24Speaker 1: whose hands going up to say they've never You have
- 12:30Speaker 1: no idea sheer joy that awaits you see in city. Yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 1: well I do know this, Carlin. You you can attest.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm sure when we first went to Vegas with Steve,
- 12:45Speaker 1: we didn't know how many ways you could gamble. We're
- 12:48Speaker 1: just thinking we're having a simple breakfast or lunch, but
- 12:51Speaker 1: he got something else going on. Entirely we didn't even
- 12:55Speaker 1: know about the gambling while you were I didn't even
- 12:58Speaker 1: know that. First of all, I'm playing Keno the entire time. Yes,
- 13:04Speaker 1: Bract wins big on, y'all. I never remember. Only when
- 13:08Speaker 1: we were doing the radio show Live for the Hoodie, y'all,
- 13:11Speaker 1: will give me y'all's hundred, I would take your money
- 13:15Speaker 1: and bring you back a win. Yes man, let me
- 13:21Speaker 1: show y'all, y'all. Yeah, So if you want to have
- 13:26Speaker 1: a good time, go to Vegas with Steve. That's the
- 13:28Speaker 1: moral of this story. You want to go in the
- 13:31Speaker 1: high slot room, stay your ass out of that, all right?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Coming up, coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: we're gonna do a little bit of run that Prank
- 13:42Speaker 1: back right after this you're listening to show, all right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: time to start your morning off with run that Prank Back? Now,
- 13:51Speaker 1: Steve is in for Junior, who is in for the nephew.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So what you got for Steve? I don't like being
- 13:57Speaker 1: in I know, I feel you wouldn't like hard enough
- 14:00Speaker 1: being for myself. Here together, it's a little bumping grind right. Hello, Hello,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm trying Marcus. Uh Marcus, Yeah, this is hey. Can
- 14:12Speaker 1: you hear me. Can you hear me pretty good? Yeah?
- 14:14Speaker 1: I can. Man. Hey, hey listen, uh let me try
- 14:18Speaker 1: to ring on that for second. Back. Hey listen, I
- 14:21Speaker 1: live in and uh I live in an apartment building
- 14:23Speaker 1: that you just moved into. Uh. I live in twenty
- 14:26Speaker 1: one A and you live above me in twenty two A. Uhhh.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I actually got your number from the leasing office. I
- 14:32Speaker 1: told him I wanted to welcome you to the apartment building, man,
- 14:35Speaker 1: but I don't want to really raise no out prowse.
- 14:37Speaker 1: But I was really calling about you know. You know,
- 14:40Speaker 1: first of all, let me go ahead and say welcome
- 14:42Speaker 1: to the building. Man. I hope that you and your
- 14:44Speaker 1: your uh is that your wife to live with you.
- 14:47Speaker 1: First of all, thank you, brother, I appreciate it. But
- 14:50Speaker 1: why would you need to have my number to do that?
- 14:52Speaker 1: You just came knocked on my door man, boy. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 1: we'll see whatever the reason why, I mean, I really
- 14:57Speaker 1: called it, got the number, was kind of reached out
- 15:00Speaker 1: to you. Man. I don't be wanting to start no
- 15:01Speaker 1: trouble with nobody or nothing like that. I'd want to
- 15:03Speaker 1: you know, I want I want my neighbors to be
- 15:05Speaker 1: cool with me, and I want to be cool with
- 15:06Speaker 1: my neighbors. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, so I
- 15:10Speaker 1: was reaching out man, because you know the noise, Man,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I was, I'm I work at night and I sleep
- 15:17Speaker 1: during the day. Man, But it seems like since you

- 15:22Speaker 1: it's just you know, I mean, I know what it's
- 15:24Speaker 1: like to have a lay hold on hold on, hold
- 15:26Speaker 1: on hold. You're hearing noises coming from my place in
- 15:30Speaker 1: the middle of the day, right, I mean, I'm here,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm getting them here, and you're making love to you lady. Man,
- 15:36Speaker 1: I mean, yah, man, God, now you know what he did.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You might be hearing something from a mother another unit. Man,

- 17:08Speaker 1: know what you are and I'm a man. No, I'm
- 17:11Speaker 1: going that new understanding. You calling me telling me you're
- 17:14Speaker 1: hearing lizons coming from our kid the shaw like somebody,
- 17:19Speaker 1: and now you're telling me where we thought it was you.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Hey man, all I'm saying is maybe it's just a

- 21:09Speaker 1: its Queen Elizabeth's funeral, and other entertainment news. Ray J
- 21:13Speaker 1: says he has receipts he is mad about Chris Jenner's
- 21:17Speaker 1: recent light detector test. Plus, Megan the Stallion talked to
- 21:22Speaker 1: Hillary and Chelsea Clinton about her song wap Really Okay,
- 21:30Speaker 1: that's what you chopping? Yeah, all right, we'll talk about
- 21:35Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour, but right
- 21:37Speaker 1: now it is time to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer,
- 21:41Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building for Sherry and Toledo. Sherry writes,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I'm a fifty four year old photographer and a longtime
- 21:49Speaker 1: clients booked me for a photo shoot and she didn't
- 21:52Speaker 1: tell me she was going to be new she's seventy
- 21:55Speaker 1: four years old. But the worst part is that she
- 21:59Speaker 1: wanted taste photos. I canceled the shoot and she wants
- 22:03Speaker 1: her deposit back and I'm not refunding it. Am I
- 22:06Speaker 1: wrong to keep it? Man? Get that lady her money back. Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 1: get that lady her money back. Yes? You wrong? You
- 22:14Speaker 1: you didn't want to do the photos shoot? Give her
- 22:16Speaker 1: money back. Yes, Joe, you saved yourself. What what do
- 22:22Speaker 1: you mean you had to set them to take this
- 22:25Speaker 1: seventy for you old woman who obviously ain't fine all
- 22:28Speaker 1: these tasteless ass photos. Man, I'll pay you not to
- 22:32Speaker 1: shoot this shot. Give her deposit back, are you wrong? Yes, man,
- 22:37Speaker 1: let her have her deposit. She suddenly fold dog. Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I don't know where she's keeping this woman photographer. Yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 1: she's a female photographer, and this seventy four year old
- 22:50Speaker 1: woman is a longtime client of hers. Yeah, well she
- 22:53Speaker 1: wants a new tasteless photo. What nash, I'm gonna sit
- 23:01Speaker 1: out here. I'm gonna let them see the whole cookie, y'all.
- 23:07Speaker 1: We're gonna sit up in here now. Now, I'm gonna nee.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I want you the photo shop. Listen to me. Put
- 23:16Speaker 1: a photo shop on my breath and push them back
- 23:20Speaker 1: up where they belong, and then smooth the wrinkles out
- 23:27Speaker 1: around my feet so they don't see y'all that frank
- 23:32Speaker 1: And then and then shrank down my ankles a little bit.
- 23:37Speaker 1: They four from standing up, you know, ushing all the
- 23:40Speaker 1: year they swollen, and do something with my neck. Smood
- 23:52Speaker 1: it out, spood it out all right, all right, moving on?
- 23:56Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm with you, Steve and lighting the circles
- 23:59Speaker 1: a little fun because they don't got real dogs. As
- 24:02Speaker 1: I got over in Pittsburgh, we're moving on. Naya in
- 24:08Speaker 1: Pittsburgh says, I've been married for two years. My husband
- 24:11Speaker 1: had an affair while we were engaged and had a
- 24:14Speaker 1: baby with the woman. He's always said, I'm the reason
- 24:18Speaker 1: he had the affair. Since I cut sex off six
- 24:21Speaker 1: months before our wedding, I have silently dealt with a
- 24:25Speaker 1: hurt and embarrassment. How do I get him to stop
- 24:28Speaker 1: blaming me? Oh? You allowed that. You can't blame me
- 24:35Speaker 1: if it ain't my fault. You know, here's a deal.
- 24:41Speaker 1: You accepted to blame and allowed that to be his excuse,
- 24:48Speaker 1: when really that's not an excuse for him to do
- 24:52Speaker 1: what he did. Not only did he but he made
- 24:56Speaker 1: a baby. Nah, the hell is your fault? Right? You
- 25:04Speaker 1: didn't have sex with the other person, You didn't have
- 25:08Speaker 1: unprotected sex with the other person, and you didn't cheat
- 25:12Speaker 1: on your fiance. Yeah, she held out for six months.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I guess she wanted to make it special for when
- 25:20Speaker 1: they got married. You know, that's all it was, dog,
- 25:23Speaker 1: That's all it was now, you can't wait to six months,
- 25:27Speaker 1: but you go out and get somebody unprotected sex, impregnant him,
- 25:32Speaker 1: can't have a baby, and you sat here and allowed
- 25:36Speaker 1: him to tell you. How do you stop him from
- 25:38Speaker 1: blaming you? Why don't you stop accepting the blame? Right? No,
- 25:44Speaker 1: the blame is because he took his weak ass out
- 25:47Speaker 1: there and did what he wanted to do. He wanted
- 25:50Speaker 1: to have sex with that girl, He picked her, and
- 25:54Speaker 1: he did it. I'm protecting all him was his decision. Yeah, okay,
- 25:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this, Steve. Since she asked you that question,
- 26:01Speaker 1: obviously she doesn't know how to do it, So tell her.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Give her some suggestions on how she could stop accepting
- 26:07Speaker 1: the blame from the all away a minute. You know what,
- 26:11Speaker 1: I played this game with you long enough. You're gonna
- 26:15Speaker 1: stop blaming me for your action. Yeah, You're gonna stop
- 26:19Speaker 1: making me responsible for your actions and decision. You made
- 26:24Speaker 1: all these decisions. Yes, I made a decision to be
- 26:28Speaker 1: celibate for six months before we got married him because
- 26:30Speaker 1: I wanted our wedding night to be something special. Yes,
- 26:33Speaker 1: I didn't make that decision. You took it upon yourself
- 26:37Speaker 1: to make that decision as a sign to you to
- 26:40Speaker 1: go ahead and do what you want to do. So
- 26:42Speaker 1: like I gave you permission or I called no, that's
- 26:47Speaker 1: not what's happening. And you're gonna stop doing that to
- 26:50Speaker 1: me in your weakness, You're gonna turn around and make
- 26:53Speaker 1: me a far because you're a weak man. Come on
- 26:56Speaker 1: here now, I love that. Yeah, I'll tell you right now,
- 26:59Speaker 1: if you call him a man, he gonna stop. He
- 27:01Speaker 1: gonna he's gonna put breaking this up, all right. Yeah,
- 27:06Speaker 1: and she's she's still there with the baby and everything.
- 27:09Speaker 1: So yeah, all right, I know two for two years. Yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Ronda Cielo. Ronda and Tenex says,
- 27:19Speaker 1: my husband and I are separated, but we still do
- 27:22Speaker 1: have sex occasionally. Um, I had a boyfriend, but now
- 27:26Speaker 1: he's furious with me because I called him by my
- 27:29Speaker 1: husband's name during sex. I feel terrible, but I don't
- 27:33Speaker 1: want to lose him. How do I fix this mishapp
- 27:37Speaker 1: misshapp like that? Just tell him things like that happened.
- 27:41Speaker 1: You've only been with two men, your husband in him,
- 27:45Speaker 1: and you know you apologize, he can't happen. It won't
- 27:49Speaker 1: happen again. You know, he think he'll kid it don't
- 27:54Speaker 1: matter if he's doing nothing. He won't sleep with you know,
- 27:57Speaker 1: he ain't that damn man. Trust me, he might be,
- 28:00Speaker 1: but he ain't that man. But didn't he didn't she
- 28:04Speaker 1: say to her and her husband is still separated. They're separated. Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 1: well they don't still have sex. They still have sex, Okay,
- 28:12Speaker 1: And then see the boyfriend don't know that, right, So
- 28:17Speaker 1: maybe you should tell your boyfriend that she's married. The reason,
- 28:24Speaker 1: well he must know they separated. But the reason I
- 28:30Speaker 1: called you, Bernard was because but not still be doing
- 28:35Speaker 1: it and bad. And Bernard was specially you know, because
- 28:40Speaker 1: he was my first love. And I'm starting to fall
- 28:45Speaker 1: in love with you, and sometimes the emotions are the same,
- 28:48Speaker 1: so I apologize, but starting to fall in love with you,
- 28:52Speaker 1: and the only reminds me and the only other man
- 28:54Speaker 1: I ever loved with was bnad Raper Jacobs his own
- 29:03Speaker 1: r BJ B RJ. All right, thank you, Clo. Coming
- 29:08Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 29:10Speaker 1: entertainment news where you're right after this, you're listening to
- 29:14Speaker 1: the String Show. Queen Elizabeth, the second, Britain's longest serving monarch,
- 29:20Speaker 1: died Thursday at the age of ninety six at her
- 29:23Speaker 1: Scottish country estate. Her funeral will be held in London
- 29:27Speaker 1: on September nineteenth. Her son, seventy three year old Charles
- 29:31Speaker 1: Prince Charles, is now King Charles the Third. There is
- 29:34Speaker 1: still some royal drama though, between King Charles, his sons,
- 29:38Speaker 1: Prince William and Prince Harry. Prince Harry is truly devastated
- 29:42Speaker 1: by the death of his grandmother he was very close
- 29:45Speaker 1: to her. Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, received a nice hug
- 29:49Speaker 1: from a teenage girls supporter who said that she just
- 29:52Speaker 1: wanted to hug the Duchess to let her know that
- 29:55Speaker 1: she is welcomed in London, you know, because after they
- 29:59Speaker 1: left and stepped back from their royal duties and came
- 30:01Speaker 1: to the to the US, you know, Um, I'm going
- 30:05Speaker 1: back over there and get mine, That's what. Yeah. Who
- 30:09Speaker 1: don't like my saying yeah, you know here I go.
- 30:19Speaker 1: At least that one young lady wanted her to know
- 30:21Speaker 1: that she was welcomed in London. So um, yeah, we'll
- 30:25Speaker 1: see how that develops. You know, what they decide to
- 30:27Speaker 1: do if they're gonna go back or you know, pick
- 30:30Speaker 1: up the royal duties, if they can whatever. We'll see
- 30:33Speaker 1: how it goes. It seems like there's trying to be
- 30:35Speaker 1: some healing now in that situation. Meanwhile, President Biden and
- 30:39Speaker 1: First Lady Jill Biden will attend the Queen's funeral on
- 30:43Speaker 1: September nineteenth at Westminster Abbey, and you know that'll be
- 30:49Speaker 1: the telecasts. Also, what you all don't know as Earl
- 30:52Speaker 1: of Ardingham is coming back after the funeral. Oh is
- 30:57Speaker 1: he here? Yeah? Okay, so right now. He told me
- 31:01Speaker 1: to let you know, but after the funeral he's gonna
- 31:03Speaker 1: come in it. Oh he told you that. Oh yeah,
- 31:06Speaker 1: wouldn't you speak with him? Wudn't you speak with him
- 31:08Speaker 1: the last Thursday when it happened. Oh, he called me.
- 31:12Speaker 1: He was devastating, He said after the funeral he'd liked
- 31:15Speaker 1: to come on the radio and straighten out of Oh
- 31:18Speaker 1: and what did you tell him? You told him? Okay,
- 31:20Speaker 1: oh hell yeah, yeah, Earl of auding him. The door
- 31:23Speaker 1: is always open always. I think he may be coming
- 31:26Speaker 1: in a little bit more regular now because god, yeah,
- 31:30Speaker 1: he's got a special announcement to make. I hope that. Okay, Royal,
- 31:35Speaker 1: We're moving on, moving definitely, uh, moving on to um
- 31:40Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton and her docuseries with her daughter Chelsea, premiered
- 31:45Speaker 1: this past Friday on Apple TV Plus. During the interview,
- 31:49Speaker 1: Hillary and Chelsea are hanging out with none other than
- 31:52Speaker 1: Megan the Stallion. They're hanging out, They're painting with Megan
- 31:55Speaker 1: and uh. They discussed the criticism and misogyny they faced
- 32:00Speaker 1: in their careers, all three ladies, and they also discussed
- 32:04Speaker 1: this is Megan the Stallion, Mega Stallion. Hillary Clinton, former
- 32:08Speaker 1: presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
- 32:13Speaker 1: and her daughter Chelsea are hanging out with Mega Stallion. Girl.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Never said this before, but I say Big Stallion. I
- 32:24Speaker 1: just I just clapped uncontrollably. I don't know what happens
- 32:28Speaker 1: to me the Stallion. I just I just started clapping
- 32:33Speaker 1: for her. Well, yeah, And I'd never thought i'd say
- 32:38Speaker 1: this that Mega Stallion, Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton were
- 32:42Speaker 1: discussing Megan Cardi B song Whop. I never thought i'd
- 32:47Speaker 1: say that. Take a listen, but I kind of came
- 32:50Speaker 1: to awareness of you with the Cardi B whapp because
- 32:53Speaker 1: wanted to do a song with Cartion. As soon as
- 32:55Speaker 1: she sent me the song, I think I sent it
- 32:56Speaker 1: back to her like the next day and it was
- 32:58Speaker 1: just so exciting. The men. They seem so confident in
- 33:01Speaker 1: what they're saying, and they don't have no problem with
- 33:03Speaker 1: talking about their sexuality and how they're gonna have sex
- 33:05Speaker 1: with you. So I was like, well, I can do that,
- 33:08Speaker 1: and it's gonna sound fire coming from a woman. It's
- 33:11Speaker 1: great to see women be so fierce. That is my
- 33:16Speaker 1: life's mission to make sure that I'm always unapologetically met
- 33:21Speaker 1: girls saying Okay, there you got clapping uncontrollably told you
- 33:29Speaker 1: I don't remember what I'm sorry. Sorry, it wasn't really
- 33:36Speaker 1: nothing got profound and nothing. I just found it to
- 33:39Speaker 1: be clappable. But this is Megan. Uh yeah. But I
- 33:43Speaker 1: do like the fact that, like she says, she's unapologetically her.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I mean, it doesn't matter who it is, She's going
- 33:50Speaker 1: to be Meg the Stallion. You know she Yes, she
- 33:52Speaker 1: has a song call as Hillary called it wap, but
- 33:56Speaker 1: we call it wop. Yes. Yeah, And she explain why
- 34:00Speaker 1: she did it, and here it is, you know, you know,
- 34:03Speaker 1: here it is, take it, leave it all right, and
- 34:06Speaker 1: that's what she's doing. Finally, in Entertainment News, Chris Jenner,
- 34:11Speaker 1: you guys heard about this took a light detective test
- 34:14Speaker 1: during the Late Late Show with James Cordon. Okay, Chris
- 34:19Speaker 1: was asked if she leaked, because this was a big thing,
- 34:22Speaker 1: if she leaked the sex tape of Kim and ray J.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Chris on the light detector test, said no and apparently
- 34:31Speaker 1: passed the test. Okay. Ray J heard about this was
- 34:35Speaker 1: really upset, really mad. He said, Steve, pay attention because
- 34:40Speaker 1: there was some cussing going on. Ray J said, y'all
- 34:44Speaker 1: have blanked with the wrong one. Ray J then went
- 34:49Speaker 1: live on Instagram and said, there is there is a
- 34:53Speaker 1: third sex tape called Santa Barbara Sex her Mama, meaning
- 34:58Speaker 1: Chris made us go shoot it for safety. Chris watched
- 35:04Speaker 1: the blank word. That's the big one right there. Chris
- 35:08Speaker 1: watched it and said, well, then ray J's live Instagram
- 35:12Speaker 1: got shut down because he was going in. He wasn't
- 35:15Speaker 1: going I watched. I saw ray J with the receipts,
- 35:22Speaker 1: laughed so hard. I was with ray J. Ray J
- 35:27Speaker 1: was mad at the dude because he saved all the texts. Yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 1: he was trying to show it on live right, and
- 35:34Speaker 1: the dude that was scrolling wasn't scrolling right, and he
- 35:38Speaker 1: was getting mad at the dude for not keeping up
- 35:41Speaker 1: with the instructions. What if ray J had me laughing
- 35:44Speaker 1: so hard? Had all he ever do? Yeah, he did,
- 35:49Speaker 1: He had all the receipts all right. Coming up in
- 35:52Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hole, we're gonna switch gears because yes,
- 35:55Speaker 1: it is Tuesday, and we're going to talk about voting
- 35:57Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show well, we previously
- 36:03Speaker 1: told you that every Tuesday until the midterm elections, we
- 36:07Speaker 1: are going to remind you to go vote, Please register,
- 36:11Speaker 1: whatever you have to do well Today there are primary
- 36:14Speaker 1: elections in Delaware, in New Hampshire, and in Rhode Island.
- 36:19Speaker 1: The midterm elections are Tuesday, November eighth, and the countdown
- 36:24Speaker 1: is on all right. The Senate returned to work last Tuesday,
- 36:27Speaker 1: and the House is back this week. If Democratic leaders
- 36:30Speaker 1: have their way, Congress will be back on break for most,
- 36:34Speaker 1: if not all, of October, all of the month of
- 36:37Speaker 1: October to let lawmakers go home and campaign ahead of
- 36:41Speaker 1: a high stakes midterm election that will decide which party
- 36:46Speaker 1: controls Congress for the next two years. Democratic leaders are
- 36:50Speaker 1: also urging voters to support as many of President Biden's
- 36:53Speaker 1: judicial nominees as possible. There are currently seventy eight vagancies
- 36:59Speaker 1: on federal trial and appellate courts. Biden has issued four
- 37:03Speaker 1: nominations for appeals court and thirty three for district courts.
- 37:07Speaker 1: After the latest with the actions of the Supreme Court,
- 37:10Speaker 1: you now know how important it is to vote. Okay,
- 37:15Speaker 1: you have to vote for these judges. You have to vote.
- 37:17Speaker 1: You have to vote for judges. Go on down the
- 37:20Speaker 1: line and vote. Educate yourself. Vote. If you need to
- 37:23Speaker 1: register to vote, go right now to when we all
- 37:26Speaker 1: vote dot org. You can also vote at vote dot org.
- 37:31Speaker 1: So it's when we all vote dot org or vote

- 37:40Speaker 1: all to waste. A lot of deadlines are coming up
- 37:44Speaker 1: for registration in October. Telom See. I'm telling you what
- 37:48Speaker 1: the ladies are saying. Listen to me, Steve Harvey Nation,
- 37:51Speaker 1: we got to get serious this trip around. These Meda
- 37:54Speaker 1: turns are important. For the first time ever because of
- 37:58Speaker 1: our voting right, we visibly affected the presidential election. The
- 38:04Speaker 1: celebrations that we had afterwards were worthy and well deserved.
- 38:09Speaker 1: But these mid terms we should have the same type
- 38:12Speaker 1: of celebrations. For the first time ever, the state of
- 38:15Speaker 1: Georgia was turned blue. And that can happen again. We've
- 38:20Speaker 1: got to get Stacy Abrams in office running for governor
- 38:25Speaker 1: in Georgia. But to all those big cities that listen
- 38:28Speaker 1: to us, Philly, Detroit, Milwaukee, all of you that listened,
- 38:33Speaker 1: that went out to the post and changed. The election
- 38:39Speaker 1: changed Michigan, Milwaukee changed Wisconsin, Philly changed Philadelphia, Atlanta changed Georgia.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Brunswick changed Georgia. Valdosta changed Georgia. We can do it, man,
- 38:55Speaker 1: We have the power. We have got to get out
- 38:58Speaker 1: here and vote. We have stop allowing the minority to
- 39:02Speaker 1: control the majority. You can stop that about voting your
- 39:08Speaker 1: vote matters. Go to when we all vote dot org
- 39:11Speaker 1: and you can also register at vote dot org. Go today.
- 39:15Speaker 1: All right, coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:18Speaker 1: we're Steve. We're gonna check your voicemail at eight seven
- 39:21Speaker 1: seven twenty nine. Step right after this. You're listening to
- 39:25Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it is
- 39:29Speaker 1: time to check Steve's voicemail. If you want to leave
- 39:32Speaker 1: a message for Steve, give us a call. Please eight
- 39:34Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine, Steve, Uh, Steve. This caller's name
- 39:38Speaker 1: is don J w W. Thank you. That's where where
- 39:48Speaker 1: my head Maybe that's where my head is, right, I
- 39:51Speaker 1: put it all together. This caller's name is Dejah Won Steve.
- 39:55Speaker 1: He's asking for advice for young men. Steve, my name
- 39:59Speaker 1: is Dave jun and I was looking for some advice,
- 40:02Speaker 1: pretty young black man out that that's just trying to
- 40:04Speaker 1: make it to have this ambition, just to be successful
- 40:08Speaker 1: in life. Like, what's the best advice you got besides
- 40:12Speaker 1: just keep moving forward, he says, besides keep moving forward? Yes,
- 40:18Speaker 1: besides saying that keep moving forward. Well he started saying that,
- 40:23Speaker 1: say something else or he's tired of hearing that from
- 40:25Speaker 1: somewhere else. Well, here's the deal. Two things help you
- 40:32Speaker 1: become successful. It's the motivation of what it is you're
- 40:37Speaker 1: doing it for. And it's the discipline, the willingness to
- 40:41Speaker 1: apply the work ethic and the faith necessary to make
- 40:44Speaker 1: it come true. Motivation changes some days. You won't be
- 40:49Speaker 1: motivated because things happen during the course of a day.
- 40:53Speaker 1: If you're motivated to become successful, okay, cool. But you
- 40:58Speaker 1: wake up this morning and you're having a family emergency,
- 41:02Speaker 1: your motivation isn't to become successful right now. Your motivation
- 41:06Speaker 1: becomes to solve the family emergency. Your emergency comes becomes
- 41:11Speaker 1: let me go see what my wife really needs for me.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Your motivation becomes could become that day, let me go
- 41:18Speaker 1: down here and get these bills paid so I can
- 41:20Speaker 1: get this light turned on. So motivation to become successful
- 41:26Speaker 1: it wanes from time to time. The thing that can
- 41:30Speaker 1: never wane is your discipline. You must remain discipline to
- 41:38Speaker 1: stay the course. So even though young man, you don't
- 41:42Speaker 1: want to hear the keep moving forward. The two factors
- 41:45Speaker 1: that drive you to your goals your motivation and your discipline.
- 41:48Speaker 1: The discipline can never wane even if the motivation changes,
- 41:53Speaker 1: So the motivation changes. I got to go down here
- 41:55Speaker 1: and pay this bill, get this light back on. I
- 41:57Speaker 1: gotta go ahead and take care of this family emergency.
- 42:00Speaker 1: When that is handled, the discipline causes you to either
- 42:05Speaker 1: before you go do that, to do the things that
- 42:08Speaker 1: you committed to do, or after you handle that, get
- 42:11Speaker 1: right back to doing the thing that you was committed
- 42:13Speaker 1: to do. It's the discipline is doing what you have
- 42:16Speaker 1: to do when you don't want to do it. All right,
- 42:20Speaker 1: all right. That's different from keep moving forward. It is
- 42:25Speaker 1: you've got to get discipline. And I work on that
- 42:30Speaker 1: all the time myself. And I'm older and I have
- 42:34Speaker 1: become successful, but I still have to remind myself to
- 42:38Speaker 1: be disciplined at all times or else even I can
- 42:42Speaker 1: go off track. That's all right, all right, de Juan
- 42:48Speaker 1: call her name Tricia. Steve says she loves Cedric the entertainer. Heyeia,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I just want to get a shout out to your boy, said,
- 43:00Speaker 1: said Seady said to the entertainer. He was by my
- 43:03Speaker 1: office the other day and he got off to take
- 43:06Speaker 1: a selfie with me because I couldn't do it. It's
- 43:08Speaker 1: by the carcase. It was too dark in there, and
- 43:11Speaker 1: he was too dark for the seat. So he got
- 43:14Speaker 1: out of the car, took a seat belt off and
- 43:16Speaker 1: everything because he was read to go. But he still
- 43:19Speaker 1: did that for them. They gonna Trump was bag to
- 43:21Speaker 1: getting this practice fight, and he didn't care about that.
- 43:24Speaker 1: I just think he's a cool guy, and I got
- 43:27Speaker 1: pictures and video of him doing that. I just love,
- 43:30Speaker 1: Seady said to the entertainer. He's a good guy, and
- 43:33Speaker 1: I know you know it. Play job Seed Morning Show. Yeah,
- 43:38Speaker 1: the best guy know. But what you're not gonna do
- 43:40Speaker 1: is calling him and talk about how dog he because
- 43:46Speaker 1: it wasn't enough light in that car black leather and
- 43:49Speaker 1: then his dog ass was in there and you couldn't
- 43:52Speaker 1: see him because of the seats and the interior of
- 43:54Speaker 1: the car. That what you're not gonna do, boball So
- 43:58Speaker 1: what do you get a lot of people got to
- 44:00Speaker 1: get out and get into light, light sky, and people
- 44:02Speaker 1: need light too. Yeah, not just gonna put this off.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Full said, thank you for calling, but you just hung
- 44:09Speaker 1: out with him and you guys had a blast. Yeah
- 44:12Speaker 1: all right, Trisha, Yeah, all right. Coming up next, we
- 44:16Speaker 1: have a prank phone call for it today. Right after this,
- 44:19Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 44:24Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
- 44:26Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, and the subject is
- 44:30Speaker 1: get somewhere and sit down. How many times have I
- 44:33Speaker 1: heard that in my life? We'll figure out what that's
- 44:36Speaker 1: all about, I know, in just a few but right
- 44:39Speaker 1: now Steve is in to bring us today's prank phone
- 44:43Speaker 1: call from the nephew. Can I paint your wife? Nick?
- 44:51Speaker 1: That doesn't even sound right? Coming from you one more
- 44:56Speaker 1: time though, Yeah, no way. I would say this, Hey man,
- 45:02Speaker 1: can I paint your wife Nick? And then just prepare
- 45:07Speaker 1: for this answer this man put on me bring a cat. Hello. Hello,
- 45:19Speaker 1: I wish to speak with a mister please, Hello, sir.

- 45:39Speaker 1: drawings within it. But I have one drawing that I
- 45:42Speaker 1: am looking to display that I have not put on
- 45:44Speaker 1: canvas yet, and I'm looking to take something of essence
- 45:49Speaker 1: to put on canvas, and I wanted to call you
- 45:51Speaker 1: about getting permission. We wait, hold oner, dog, Just to
- 45:54Speaker 1: stop you right now. I don't do that, all right.

- 46:01Speaker 1: I'm saying. Just go ahead, mister. I don't think you
- 46:04Speaker 1: understand that my showing is gonna have some very important
- 46:08Speaker 1: people there. I am, like I said before, with Art Institute. Yeah,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I said, I don't do that. That's not me. I mean,
- 46:16Speaker 1: I hate you know what would you just calling folks
- 46:19Speaker 1: up to you as solicitor or something. I mean, y'all
- 46:21Speaker 1: just randomly picking out folks and trying to trying to
- 46:23Speaker 1: get them the model. Look man, sir, mister, no, I'm
- 46:27Speaker 1: not just randomly calling people. I actually have done research
- 46:30Speaker 1: in order to get your number. What I'm doing is,
- 46:33Speaker 1: I'm not calling you as far being a model that
- 46:37Speaker 1: I'm going to portray on canvas, but you have something
- 46:40Speaker 1: far more greater visually that I would like to hold
- 46:44Speaker 1: on canvas. Now you're married to your wife? Is am
- 46:49Speaker 1: I correct? The whole whoa whoa whoa dud? No for
- 46:53Speaker 1: who is it? Seriously? Because I can get my number?
- 46:56Speaker 1: How you get my number? Because you're talking about my
- 46:58Speaker 1: wife and stuff my me on my wife? My name
- 47:01Speaker 1: is Sebastian. I am with Art Institute. What I'm trying
- 47:06Speaker 1: to do with capturing and mortalize the beauty of essence
- 47:09Speaker 1: on cana lize. Okay yo, for real, though, you just can't.
- 47:13Speaker 1: You don't talk about my wife all right, So I'm not.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I'm not calling in a negative manner towards your wife.
- 47:20Speaker 1: I want to I want to mortalize her and capture
- 47:23Speaker 1: her on canvas. The beauties that she beholds. I've seen
- 47:27Speaker 1: your wife several times, you guys reside, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 47:31Speaker 1: you see my wife? But wait, what do you see
- 47:33Speaker 1: my wife at? Why are you? Why are you? Why
- 47:35Speaker 1: are you watching my wife? I've seen her. She she
- 47:37Speaker 1: shops on one hundred and twenty fifth Street in Hallam.
- 47:39Speaker 1: I've seen her so many times there, and she holds
- 47:42Speaker 1: all the beauty that an artist would like to put
- 47:44Speaker 1: on Kansas. Like I said before, I have a huge
- 47:47Speaker 1: showing in May. You're welcome to come out as well.
- 47:50Speaker 1: There's going to be so many important people there. But
- 47:52Speaker 1: I want to call and get permission from you about
- 47:55Speaker 1: painting your wife. No, you ain't got that permission. Play well,
- 47:58Speaker 1: you just can't. You just can't go around following my
- 48:01Speaker 1: wife and trying to mortalize or whatever. I just said,
- 48:05Speaker 1: all right, so so, but I would like to let
- 48:08Speaker 1: you know I have taken the liberty myself. I have
- 48:11Speaker 1: painted your wife's head. What, Joe, you have lost your
- 48:16Speaker 1: damn mind. You can't be just walking around here Peyton
- 48:19Speaker 1: folks headed you gotta get permission for that. What's wrong
- 48:22Speaker 1: with you? But if you are crazy, you don't understand
- 48:25Speaker 1: your wife holds the essence that every artist wants. I
- 48:28Speaker 1: don't care what he holds. You can't be going around
- 48:31Speaker 1: Peyton folks heads wrong with you, sir. That's the reason
- 48:35Speaker 1: why I'm calling, trying to get permission from you. I
- 48:38Speaker 1: Sebastian want to put your wife on canvas because she
- 48:41Speaker 1: holds the essence that every artist wants to behold. She
- 48:44Speaker 1: mortalized the beauty of Oh whoa hold of God? Hold
- 48:47Speaker 1: of the hold of God? You're telling me you walking
- 48:50Speaker 1: around pom Peyton, my wife's head? Is that? What are
- 48:55Speaker 1: you doing, dude? I'm only trying to complete my portfolio.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Oh no, your portfolio here? Listen it is if I
- 49:04Speaker 1: see my wife's head anywhere, I don't care. A new
- 49:06Speaker 1: type of magazine. I don't care where a bill or whatever. Yo,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna find Joe. I'm gonna whoop. Yo. Do you
- 49:11Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying to you. I'm gonna suit. Do
- 49:14Speaker 1: you you understand that? Sure? I don't want to have
- 49:16Speaker 1: a duel with you, sir. A duel, here's a duel.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Who they due? What they do? In fact? What name?
- 49:26Speaker 1: It's a bashi? Who come name is? That's a bashiit, Sir,
- 49:30Speaker 1: all I want to do is paint your wife in
- 49:33Speaker 1: her rawoust and purest foe that there's law and purist
- 49:38Speaker 1: for me. What do you want? Seriously, I want to
- 49:41Speaker 1: paint your wife. I want to paint her in the nude.
- 49:47Speaker 1: How do you want so? Now he's run. That's what
- 49:52Speaker 1: you should do. Tell me where you as you want
- 49:54Speaker 1: to paint something, I'll give you something to paint. Tell
- 49:57Speaker 1: me where you at? What twenty fifth? Meet me one
- 50:00Speaker 1: twenty fifth? That's what's up? I want to whoop you'r

- 50:35Speaker 1: wife ain't no more? You call my wife up? Is
- 50:37Speaker 1: that what you're saying? Are you calling my wife before you.

- 52:03Speaker 1: is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show

- 52:17Speaker 1: Who the hell a duel? Matter of fact, who the

- 53:01Speaker 1: he said, just in his head. Just he thinks of
- 53:04Speaker 1: it in his head. A lot of stuff small here, Okay,
- 53:11Speaker 1: so crowded though, because his head is so small. Yeah,

- 54:06Speaker 1: little extra. That was like coming in hot. Okay, right right,
- 54:12Speaker 1: thanks Carla. Subject get somewhere and sit down, Okay, Dear
- 54:17Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I'm a sixty year old single mother. My
- 54:21Speaker 1: son is thirty two, and he has been a single
- 54:23Speaker 1: father since his first wife passed away four years ago.
- 54:27Speaker 1: My granddaughter is fourteen years old, and she's with me
- 54:31Speaker 1: during the week and she goes back to her dad's
- 54:33Speaker 1: house on the weekend. My son has started back dating
- 54:37Speaker 1: and he wants to be married again. He says he
- 54:39Speaker 1: doesn't function well as a single man. I have nothing
- 54:43Speaker 1: to do with his love life, but I have everything
- 54:46Speaker 1: to do with how his daughter is raised, and I
- 54:48Speaker 1: don't think he should be introducing her to all kinds
- 54:51Speaker 1: of women while she's still in the grieving process. This
- 54:55Speaker 1: new girl he's dating is very simplistic and materialistic. She's
- 55:00Speaker 1: got her own money, so she's not asking for anything
- 55:03Speaker 1: from my son. But it's the way she carries herself
- 55:06Speaker 1: that is on my nerves. She and I don't see
- 55:09Speaker 1: eye to eye on a lot of things. She has
- 55:11Speaker 1: a sixteen year old daughter that she leaves alone overnight
- 55:14Speaker 1: to go play house with our sons. Her daughter has
- 55:18Speaker 1: a brand new car and she lets her run wild
- 55:20Speaker 1: with her friends all over town. The only time my
- 55:24Speaker 1: granddaughter has quality time with her with her dad is
- 55:27Speaker 1: on the weekend. And this new woman is always around
- 55:30Speaker 1: and in the way. My granddaughter sees through her and
- 55:34Speaker 1: gets irritated when this woman plays rap music and knows
- 55:37Speaker 1: all the lyrics. She feels like the woman is trying
- 55:40Speaker 1: too hard. She's visited at my house with my son
- 55:44Speaker 1: and runs around waiting on my son hand and foot,
- 55:47Speaker 1: and I had to tell her to get somewhere and
- 55:49Speaker 1: sit down. I have never seen a woman try so hard,
- 55:52Speaker 1: and her intentions may be good, but she has to
- 55:55Speaker 1: fall back a bit. I think my son is falling
- 55:58Speaker 1: for her representative and not the real woman. How can
- 56:02Speaker 1: I get him to pump the brakes. Okay, grandmother, your
- 56:07Speaker 1: intentions might be right, but you need to fall back
- 56:10Speaker 1: a little bit. I mean, I agree your son doesn't
- 56:13Speaker 1: need to introduce her daughter or his daughter. I should
- 56:16Speaker 1: say to a lot of random women. Because grief is
- 56:20Speaker 1: a process and it takes time. And although it has
- 56:23Speaker 1: been four years, grief is different for everyone. And your granddaughter.
- 56:28Speaker 1: His daughter is only fourteen, so that means her mother
- 56:31Speaker 1: passed when she was just ten years old. So let
- 56:34Speaker 1: her have a moment. Okay, she's obviously still working through
- 56:38Speaker 1: some things in her young life. Now, your son wants
- 56:41Speaker 1: to remarry, you said, but he's got to make sure
- 56:44Speaker 1: his daughter is good and he has to make sure
- 56:47Speaker 1: this woman is a good fit for their family. His
- 56:50Speaker 1: daughter needs him, Yes, she has you, grandmother, thank god,
- 56:54Speaker 1: But daddy has to learn how to divide his time
- 56:57Speaker 1: and make his time count and make quality any time
- 57:00Speaker 1: between his new girlfriend and his daughter, who again is
- 57:03Speaker 1: only fourteen. Is this new woman even trying to connect
- 57:07Speaker 1: with the daughter? Is she doing that? Is she ready
- 57:10Speaker 1: to take on the role of stepmon mom or is
- 57:13Speaker 1: she just concentrating on being with the dad. It doesn't
- 57:16Speaker 1: sound like she is according to your letter. It sounds
- 57:19Speaker 1: like according to you, she's only interested in your son
- 57:22Speaker 1: and not his daughter. But again, all you can do
- 57:27Speaker 1: is talk to your son. You can try to reason
- 57:30Speaker 1: with him and make suggestions on how he should handle this.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Very delicate situation. You can't go in too hard against
- 57:37Speaker 1: this woman because your son does like her and he's
- 57:40Speaker 1: considering marriage. He wants to remarry, and it sounds like
- 57:44Speaker 1: it she might be the one. So he needs your
- 57:47Speaker 1: non emotional voice of reason right now. That might make
- 57:51Speaker 1: a difference in the woman he chooses to be with.
- 57:54Speaker 1: And if it's her, you know, just be reasonable talk
- 57:57Speaker 1: to him. Don't be all emotional talking about the woman
- 58:00Speaker 1: and all that, because again he likes her. Steve, well,
- 58:04Speaker 1: get somewhere and sit down. This is a letter about
- 58:08Speaker 1: a mother that doesn't like the choice of women her son.
- 58:13Speaker 1: It's made. That's all this letter is about. Now it's
- 58:17Speaker 1: masked with a lot of other stuff, and I will
- 58:21Speaker 1: point this out to you as we go along. First
- 58:24Speaker 1: of all, I'm a sixty year old single mother. What
- 58:29Speaker 1: I didn't know that was a turn. I thought that
- 58:34Speaker 1: when your son is thirty two and you sixty. But
- 58:39Speaker 1: I think you can stop saying that at one point.
- 58:42Speaker 1: It's like when the baby is thirty eight months old.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Come on, now, we need some years. We got we
- 58:48Speaker 1: got to quit doing moss now, you know, we gotta
- 58:51Speaker 1: stop doing you know, you know I'm seven weeks pregnant.
- 58:56Speaker 1: That's good. At one point you got to be seven moms,
- 59:01Speaker 1: you know, we just it's just a conversion. So I'm
- 59:04Speaker 1: confused with that. I'm a sixty year old single mother.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Refer to yourself as a single mother, meaning that you
- 59:11Speaker 1: have to raise a child on your own. That's what
- 59:15Speaker 1: being a single parent a mother represents to me. It's
- 59:19Speaker 1: just maya pick. She may be single and a mother.
- 59:24Speaker 1: That's cool, But don't use that because the boy thirty two,
- 59:30Speaker 1: I don't know, even be stuck on that, like you
- 59:32Speaker 1: gotta take his ass to soccer practice. You got to
- 59:37Speaker 1: come up with field trip money. You're just struggling with it.
- 59:40Speaker 1: So what should she have said? Just a sixty year
- 59:43Speaker 1: old single woman. My son is thirty two, that's all.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Don't try to draw us in with that. I'm a
- 59:50Speaker 1: sixty year old single mother to draw like all while,
- 59:53Speaker 1: how long she's been doing that? All right, here we go.
- 59:58Speaker 1: She said that we'll have person You'll see what I'm
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: saying in we'll have first two of Steve's response because
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: he's just stuck on the first line on the strawberry letter.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Can't get off of it. It's gonna tail tail the
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: rest of the letter. All right, we'll have firt two
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: of your response coming up Steve at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's title is one that's close to
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: my heart of the Strawberry letter, Get somewhere and sit down.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: We'll get back into it with Steve's response right after this.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject get somewhere and
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: sit down. Well, this sixty year old single mother. That
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: didn't have to mention that to us, because when you're
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: single mother, I'm thinking of you're raising children on your own.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Her boy is thirty two, so that's the term I
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: disagree with. My son is thirty two and he's been
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: a single father. This his first wife passed away four
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: years ago. Very important. My granddaughter is fourteen and she's
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: with me during the week and she goes back to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her dad's house on the weekend. My son has started
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: back dating and he wants to be married again. He
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: says he doesn't function well as a single man. I
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: have nothing to do with his love life. This is
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: not true, because you do. I have nothing to do
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: with his love life. But the rest of his letter
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: is all about his love life. But I have everything
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: to do with how his daughter is raised, and I
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: don't think he should be introducing her to all kinds
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: of women while she's still in the grieving process. Now,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I understand that statement that this woman is making, and
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I understand that the little girl is still dealing with
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: it even after four years, because it's something you almost
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: never get over. I understand that. But this man has
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: been grieving for four years too, but he's ready to
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: move forward. He should be allowed to date. Now, you
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: made a statement that I don't think he should be
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: introducing her to all kinds of women while she's still
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: in the grieving process. But that ain't what this letter
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: is about. You immediately go This new girl he's dating
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: is very simplistic and materialistic. Excuse me, make up your mind, Mama.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: She's either simplistic or materialistic. Simplistic means very simple things essential,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: very doesn't care about extra. Materialistic is the direct opposite.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: So I'm not really sure you even know what you're
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: talking about. She's got her own money, okay, so she's
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: not asking for anything for my son. So what you're
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: saying is. This woman brings plenty to the table outside
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: of being what could be a very good woman. But
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: it's the way she carries herself that gets on my nerves.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: He just said in the letter that you don't You
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: don't want to get into your son's love life. It's
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: none of your business. Just raising the daughter is. But
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: now I don't like the way the way she carries
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: herself gets on my nerves. She and I don't see
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: eye to eye on a lot of things. She has
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: a sixteen year old daughter that she leaves alone overnight
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: to go play house with my son. Sixteen year olds
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: can stay home by this self, sixteen year olds can
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: stay home. Technology now makes it where sixteen year old
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: can stay home by this sel. I didn't. We didn't
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: have to. Hell yeah, I had to stay home and
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: be not And I'll tell you what he was the
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: rule when I get back to this house, better be
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: just like I left him. Right. Her daughter has a
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: brand new car and she lets her run wide with
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: her friends all over town. Does she really or does
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: the girl just have a brand new car and con
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: drive to visit her nothing? Girl ain't no reputation or none?
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: You letting her run that's not the only time my
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: granddaughter has quality time with her dad is on the weekends,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: and this new woman is always around and in the way.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Excuse me, but this man's every weekend can't be for
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: his daughter. I'm sorry, that's not y'all can say that
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: if you want to, but don't nobody do that. The
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: girl is fourteen, She probably has friends, has a life
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: on her own FaceTime, probably got a phone. All this hill,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I got news for you. Once they reached that teenage years,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: they don't really want to be sitting around your ass
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: that much. They really don't. So they're busy. Yes, they
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: have their own friends, and the new woman is always
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: around and in the way. My granddaughter sees through her
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: and gets irritated when this woman plays rap music and
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: knows all the lyrics. Well, you can't know the lyrics
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: unless you know the lyrics. You know. They in their thirties,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that's all. She grew up on hip hop. Yeah, she
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: feels like the woman is trying too hard. Yeah, it's
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: called effort. She's visited at my house with my sons
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: and runs around waiting on my son hand and foot,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: and I had to tell her to go somewhere and
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: sit down. Okay, So now the woman caters to your son.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: You don't like that. She got her own money, you
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: don't like that. Okay, she's simplistic, you don't like that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: And she materialistic, you don't like that. And now she
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: come over to your house running around waiting on your son,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: and you don't like that. I have never seen a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: woman try so hard, and her intentions may be good.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I think her intentions are just fine. And if you
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: don't want her to try hard, what you want her
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: to do, but she has to fall back a bit.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: And I think my son is falling for her representative
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and not the real woman. Well, time will tell, because
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: the representative can't stay forever. How can I get him
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: to pump the brakes. Well, let's start with you need
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: to pump debreak. Yeah, that's what I said. Your son
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: wants to be married, let him figure it out. Every weekend, Kate,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: be for the kids. Her sixteen year old can stay
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: home alone. And you're wrong because you don't even really
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: know this woman. And that's why your ass is a
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: sixty year old single mother. That's exactly why your ass
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: is a sixty year old single Mama Poster comments and
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Steve on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on

- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Lee Ralph also won for Abbot Elementary for her role

- 1:09:14Speaker 1: they're gonna make her category last. Why do you say that?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Ain't nobody fit to follow all that? So you know,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: the next the next person that got the award it
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: was up there, just go hey, I just want to
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: say thanks to everybody. It's great, you know, you know,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: you know I wanted to do what Cheryl did, but
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: I can't. You don't even know who I am at
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: this point. Thank you guys. New York Cashion Week is back,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Yes it is. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Congratulations Cheryl Lee. Yeah, you're listening to show, all right.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: So New York Fashion Week is back. According to Vogue magazine,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: there is a schedule of over one hundred brands that
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: will have traditional runways, appointment only viewings, immersive experiences, and
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: enough dinners to almost make up for two pandemic years
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: of barely going out. There will be street bears from Valenciaga, Gucci, Dior,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: and Valentino Fende who we saw Lori sport and over
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: that she was rocking from Fendy looking good. Findy is
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: celebrating his twenty fifth anniversary of the iconic Fendi baguette
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: bag that everyone wanted after watching episodes of Sex in
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: the City. Remember that? Yeah? Yeah, And Laurie, your daughter
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Steve looked beautiful in her Fendy and everything she wore
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: for fashion week. Actually that was crazy, because I mean
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: lunch with Lorie in New York because I had to
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: go up there Sunday for a meeting, so on Sunday,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I had lunch with Lorie. Okay, that Findy outfits she
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: wore was actually done by Ellie. It's actually a coat.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: It's one coat. She pulled it off her shoulders, folded
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: it and cinched it and made it look like a
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: dress under it and a coat on top of it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Actually just one piece and Findy. She didn't want to
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: dress her at first after this, and they gave us
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: stuff she didn't want to wear. After Ellie straighten it out,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: she became the most photographed person for Findy that night.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: They're gonna treat her a little bit different. Okay, recognized,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: recognize they should. Yeah. Sports athletic brand Puma will feature
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: men's and women's collections with remixed retro signatures and collaborations
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: from the likes of Dapper Dan and created designer June Ambrose.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: So um, Steve, what did you and your side? What
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: do you all have going on? I mean, what you
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: guys do? You said you went to dinner with Laurie.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: What else did you do for fashion week? Now? I
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: ain't go up there for fashion week. I went up
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: there for business. Oh yeah, all this fashion icon stuff.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: That thing pretty much fleeting for me. But you always
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: dressed the part though. Yeah, yeah, I dressed myself. You know,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Ellie was up there with Lord. I know how to
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: dress myself. Don't why I try to tell it a
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: little skinny ass, Hey, Broy, I'm putting on clothes for
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you with bone dog. I know how to go in
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: my closet and put stuff together. So you know, I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: just went up there for business meeting. Man's very well
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: received meeting I went to. I wasn't up there for
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: fashion week at all. I just went up there for me.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: But it looked like you were yeah, you're yeah, No,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I had on let me tell you now. I had
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: on just a track suit with a black T shirt
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: or white track suit with a black T shirt. I
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: had on the Findy bucket hat, but I had on
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Findy sneakers that I had bought and only old war
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: once and then I just put them all together. Eli pressed,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: but I was, you know, Alie talking. Oh, mister Harvey,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: you put it together so nice. I want made a
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: fair squench on my face up like a little stupid.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I really think I just started dressing when I met
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Yosslie does senses Oh no, no, no, no, no no no,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: this boy is over the top off the chain. He's super,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: super talent. He's gonna be one of the great fashion
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: people in the world. Yeah, he will be one of
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: the next fashion greats in the world. Yeah, I mean
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: one day he will be. I'm not saying he's next,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: but I predicted that he will be a Virgil before
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: us openly. Oh wow, Ses, he does everything. This dude.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: He just needs more experience with everything. But this dude
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: right here, when it comes to understanding it, he's immersed
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: in it. He's very committing. Yeah, very talented, Yeah, very stylish,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: very knowledgeable, yeah, all of that. Yeah. But and he
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: he dressed your girl. He addressed our girl, Laurie. I
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: feel like she's one of our little babies on the
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: show too, because we've seen her grow up and become
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: this fashion icon that she is now. So congratulations. We'll
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: have more of today's trending stories on the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: even though the economy is unpredictable and supply chain issues
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: are still affecting consumers, luxury car sales, Steve are booming.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: It seems rich Americans are justesing record numbers of Tesla's, Bentley's, Ferrari's,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: and Lamborghini's, among other luxury car brands. So here's the question, Steven.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: This is kind of a crazy question, but we're gonna
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: ask you anyway, if money was no object, what car
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: or truck would you purchase? What's your dream car? I
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: mean dream car. The only card is missing that I've
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: got to get is a nineteen fifty seven Chevy bel
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Air convertible. Oh that has to happen now that No,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: I got a forty Cadillac. I had a forty two
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: that I took it to the shop and the dude
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: disappeared with it. What. Oh, that happened out in La
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I took a t shop trying to support this brother
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: disappeared with the shop to car everything. Never saw anyone. Wow. Wow.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: So what's so special about the car that you want?
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: The bel Air Convertible? Because I was born in nineteen
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: fifty seven and it's one of my favorite old cars.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: The way it looks, it's just a big bad thing.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna get one. Though I wanted to be beautiful.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it. Already made. I fixed up my Cadillac.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I don't want to fix I want to buy it
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: already made. And I don't want no man queels. I
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: don't want no hot rod ass car. Coming up in
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play around if
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: would you rather? Right after this? You're listening to the
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we are, it is time
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: for would you rather? All right, so think back to
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: your school day, Steve. Now, would you rather get the
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: worst grades in an honors class? Okay? Or would you
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: rather get the best grades in a remedial class. Oh,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I've had the best grades in remediate. One of the
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: highlights of my elementary school period, I was accidentally put
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: into remedial class for a week straight. Eighte greatest school
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: experience I've ever had. Is there anything you haven't done? No?
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: I was in the reminial class. They didn't play good
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: at recess. I was a little upset about recess with
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: the kids. But oh, they didn't play good. You know,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: why were you accidentally? I don't know that they had
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: just missed read a test or something. They put me
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: in a remedial class and it was an outstanding I
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: was I was in the fourth grade, and it was
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: just wonderful. Anybody know what two plus two fold? Just
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: killing it? Six eight? I knew all that was going,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: this is great all I was getting aged thing. And
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: then teacher took me down to the Prinspal's office ship.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I think we've made a mistake. This ship should again
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: a remedial class. And I was looking upside of head
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: like yes I should. She was ahead from me. Man
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: put me back in that record class. I went on
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: back of getting them d So I've already had that
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: experience right there. All right, you got these nude pictures?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: They were leaked? Okay, so would you rather them? Uh,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: your nude pictures be leaked to everyone at work? Everyone
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: at work, or everyone at your family reunion. I need
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: y'all to see this at Yeah, I need you. I
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: need y'all to see who your boss really is. YA
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: need y'all have a whole new respect level overhead, y'all
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: going Monica covering her eyes? We can't, Oh, I see
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: not he Steve hard Ye, Yeah, speak to me different
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: in the morning, okay, King of comedy on All right, Steve,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: would you rather get a small tattoo on your face?
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Have a wall tattoo on a small tattoo on your face?
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Would you rather a tattoo that covers your entire but
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: which Now I'm gonna get that ass tattoo. That's my
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: whole ass tattoo. I'm gonna just make it like a
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: like put it in a honeycomb patty. All right, that's
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: a little captured at the bottom of a sweet meat.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: That's today's round pat and tattooed on my ass. Look
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: walk here right after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show.

- 1:20:51Speaker 1: the top all state agents up there. My dog. We
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: grew up together. We went to elementary school together, junior
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: high together, we went to high school together. We was
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: roommates in college together. I helped him in his pledged program,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: then I pledged under him. Big ass mistake. We are
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: both frat brothers. Almighty old maker sci Fi, one of
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: the great cues, ladies and gentlemen. If you see him today,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: call him and tell him that is hominge or sixty
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: one years. This go deeper than the frat. Now, me
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: and Ricardo Prude were deeper than Omega sci Fi. We
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: knew each other before that was any idea that Omega existed.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: So our love and friendship was formed before the greatest
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: frat brought into our life. The true meaning a friendship
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: is essential to the soul. Happy birthday, Ricardo Prude, sixty
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: six years old today, my dog, your boy wonder love
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: a maiden man, appreciate the love and support. Huh yeah,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: that's nice. That's real nice. Yeah, it's that's that's some
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: amazing stuff. Man, them cats. I grew up with Man
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: the Comboys, This loyalty, loyal man. We've been friends a
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: long time. One hundred twelve Street Crew, the one hundred
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: twelve Street Board and these are my clothing remarks. I
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: was talking with my trainer and we both sat down.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: We had a long conversation and its kind of ties
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: back to the question that one of the callers called
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: in today, and I just wanted to take some time
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: to reiterate two of the things that are required for
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: just two. There are several things that you need to
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: be successful. But people talk about motivation. What is your motivation?
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I want you to understand something about motivation because people say, well,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you should stick to the has because you got to
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: focus on your motivation. So they expect you to come
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: to the gym every day and be motivated to be there.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: But what a person has to understand is your motivation changes.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You can wake up one morning and be so motivated
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: to go to the gym, but then this thing occurs
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: called light a love. One needs you an emergency happens.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: You wake up and there's something that's prominent in your
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: life that has to be dealt with. Well, guess what
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: happens to that motivation. The motivation shifts. It shifts to
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: that more immediate problem. I got you on to work out,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: and I got your motivation is to look good for
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: your health and to stay strong and get healthy and
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: live longer and look better. But right now, there's an
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: emergency that has happened in your life and you gotta
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: put that workout to the side to deal with this
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: new motivation. The new motivation is to solve this problem
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: that's in front of you. So as motivated as you
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: want to choose to be about working out or losing
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: weight or becoming successful, when life happens, your motivation oftentimes
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: has to shift to address something that's happening in your life.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: That's the reality of the world. When new kids need you, man,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: your motivation has to shift. When your spouse or loved
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: one needs you. Your motivation has to shift. When the
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: house on fire, your motivation has to shift. When you
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: get the call that somebody you care about was in
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: a cart, your motivation has to shift. So Steve, what
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: happens when your motivation shift kid square. One of the
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: most important things about becoming successful in weight loss, career, money, climbing,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: the corporate letter, going to school, getting your education. The
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: one thing that cannot waiver is your discipline. You have
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: to remain discipline to the goal you have to do.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: The true definition of discipline for me is doing what
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: you have to do even when you don't want to.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: So after you address the more immediate motivation, you must
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: now find a way to still accomplish the goal. The
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: discipline of wanting to see it through and accomplish the
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: goal is so critical. You must remain discipline through all
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: the hardship, all the shifts in motivation, all the emergencies. Discipline.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: You have to do what you have to do even
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: when you don't want to remain discipline through it all.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. Happy birthday, Ricardo proved my
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: dog SACI fire always. Hey, y'all talk to God today.
