- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like a million bucks bus things. And it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not me through good Steve har to mother forty don't
- 0:39Speaker 1: join me. You gotta use that turn. You gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn love, got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water. Y'all, come, come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back. I show will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Y'all listening to the voice. Come on, dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. You know,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I think I'll explain something y'all. You know when I
- 2:15Speaker 1: when I wake up in the morning and I say,
- 2:18Speaker 1: dig me now, what I'm asking you to do is
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's old school, you know, man, And you know you
- 2:23Speaker 1: say old people say I dig you know, never stop
- 2:26Speaker 1: saying it. Sorry, but dig me now. It's just I
- 2:30Speaker 1: want you to don't you really feel me? Don't you
- 2:34Speaker 1: to understand what I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration
- 2:38Speaker 1: is all given in the spirit of sharing and love.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It ain't about to expose me in any way. That's
- 2:44Speaker 1: not the purpose of it. But I found that in
- 2:47Speaker 1: my morning inspiration that it's best that I use some
- 2:51Speaker 1: things about myself, because I mean, what better example can
- 2:54Speaker 1: I use? Because I know me, I know what's happened
- 2:56Speaker 1: to me. I know exactly how I felt all along
- 2:59Speaker 1: the way way concerning almost everything, every aspect of my life.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I now fully do really understand why God had my
- 3:08Speaker 1: life spend the way it spun. And here's the part
- 3:12Speaker 1: that I want to give to you this morning, that
- 3:14Speaker 1: first of all, whatever position you find yourself in today,
- 3:18Speaker 1: we kind of come to one realization that we got
- 3:21Speaker 1: ourselves there. We put ourselves there by a series of
- 3:25Speaker 1: thoughts and actions. Thoughts turn into things. That's very important
- 3:31Speaker 1: to know. So let's look at both sides of it.
- 3:35Speaker 1: For people who think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and the direct opposite is true. For those who think
- 3:46Speaker 1: positive thoughts, it turns into positive things. That's the deal.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It's as simple as that, folks. I cannot break it
- 3:58Speaker 1: down any cleaner, I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts
- 4:03Speaker 1: become things. So the one glaring question for all of
- 4:09Speaker 1: us always is on a daily basis, what are you thinking?
- 4:13Speaker 1: What are your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are
- 4:17Speaker 1: your thoughts? Because I can assure you, and it's not
- 4:23Speaker 1: by or promise of mind. This is not a theory
- 4:26Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey then came up with. This is a
- 4:29Speaker 1: fact of life. This is biblical, this is spiritual, this
- 4:36Speaker 1: is written, this is philosophical. This is the law of
- 4:39Speaker 1: the universe. However, you need to drink this medicine to
- 4:43Speaker 1: take to get it down and feel what I'm saying
- 4:46Speaker 1: to you. This is just the way it is now
- 4:49Speaker 1: and here the cold part, folks, It don't matter if
- 4:52Speaker 1: you believe me or not. It does not matter if
- 4:57Speaker 1: you have never been explained this or not. And it
- 5:01Speaker 1: does not matter if you think it works in your
- 5:04Speaker 1: life or not. It don't matter. Listen to me. It
- 5:09Speaker 1: is the way it is. It is as scriptural, it
- 5:12Speaker 1: is as spiritual, it is philosophical, it's just whatever. It's
- 5:17Speaker 1: the law of the universe. You call whatever you want call. However,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you got to dress this thing up to put it
- 5:23Speaker 1: into phase that you can feel me. I want you
- 5:25Speaker 1: to feel me now, because this all it is. So.
- 5:29Speaker 1: When I say that you are where we are today
- 5:32Speaker 1: because we thought ourselves here, or your best to believe
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's true. You thought yourself here, no one else see,
- 5:40Speaker 1: let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:44Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 5:48Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 5:57Speaker 1: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 6:01Speaker 1: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:06Speaker 1: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:11Speaker 1: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:13Speaker 1: of people around me want credit for it and want
- 6:16Speaker 1: you to not give credit to God and give it
- 6:19Speaker 1: to them. I got that. I got that, but I
- 6:21Speaker 1: understand that. See, I understand what that is. That's a
- 6:25Speaker 1: person whose design is to get the credit. But it's okay.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it. As I get older
- 6:35Speaker 1: and older, he always said to me, son, everybody come
- 6:39Speaker 1: with you, can't go with you. See, you know, I
- 6:43Speaker 1: don't know how people say that in church. You know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: sometimes they go people come into your life for seasons,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I guess the same thing. You know, they season up,
- 6:51Speaker 1: they're gone, well, you know, and then but then hither
- 6:55Speaker 1: way they try to hold you though, or you're gonna
- 6:57Speaker 1: forget where you come from. You ain't gonna keep it
- 7:01Speaker 1: real no more. I don't want to go back where
- 7:04Speaker 1: I come from. I don't want to keep it that
- 7:07Speaker 1: real no more. It was real enough for me living
- 7:09Speaker 1: in a car. I had enough of that real. I
- 7:12Speaker 1: don't gonna keep it real now. I don't keep it real.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I want to go keep it dreamy. I want to
- 7:16Speaker 1: go keep it, fantasize it. I want. I want to.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 7:21Speaker 1: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 7:23Speaker 1: keep it moving. I want to keep it ball and
- 7:25Speaker 1: I want to see what that's like. So naw, I
- 7:28Speaker 1: ain't gonna forget why I come from, But you ain't
- 7:30Speaker 1: gonna hold me to that dough. See, thoughts become things
- 7:36Speaker 1: all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 7:40Speaker 1: things that you wan't written down? What do you think
- 7:44Speaker 1: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 7:48Speaker 1: God has done for you? Where you at with that?
- 7:51Speaker 1: See here another law? If thoughts become things, Let me
- 7:57Speaker 1: ask you this. If all you thinking about is your debt,
- 8:02Speaker 1: if all you're thinking about is what you ain't got,
- 8:05Speaker 1: If all you thinking about or is all woe is me?
- 8:09Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is every time I turn around,
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm sick. If all you're thinking about it's the things
- 8:16Speaker 1: in life that you're lacking. If that's all you're thinking about,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and if thoughts become things, how much debt you think
- 8:27Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in, how much, how much how much
- 8:31Speaker 1: lacking you think you find to feel your life with?
- 8:35Speaker 1: How much most stuff you find to not have because
- 8:39Speaker 1: you keep thinking about it all the time. When you're
- 8:43Speaker 1: gonna be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you, when
- 8:47Speaker 1: it's gonna come out your mouth, man, that I may
- 8:51Speaker 1: not be where I want to be, but I show
- 8:53Speaker 1: am grateful for what you've given me so far, for
- 8:56Speaker 1: the things I have to day because I don't have
- 8:59Speaker 1: to have these things? You know that does? That then
- 9:02Speaker 1: opens up room for more stuff to come your way?
- 9:05Speaker 1: To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna be ungrateful, man,
- 9:09Speaker 1: let me ask you something. I ain't God, I don't
- 9:12Speaker 1: claim to be, But let me ask you something man,
- 9:15Speaker 1: If you're ungrateful for the things we've got, if we
- 9:18Speaker 1: can't show no gratitude for what we have, why would
- 9:22Speaker 1: God give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Why would he do that for tada? Anybody feel me
- 9:30Speaker 1: right now? So when I say come on, y'all, dig me, now,
- 9:34Speaker 1: do you understand why I say dig me? Because I
- 9:36Speaker 1: want you to feel me. I want you to understand
- 9:38Speaker 1: and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't. Because
- 9:41Speaker 1: so many people got a deeper understanding than me about
- 9:43Speaker 1: this whole thing. I promise you they do, but they
- 9:46Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm just trying to get you to
- 9:48Speaker 1: walk up in this light, man, so you can go
- 9:50Speaker 1: on with your life and quit tripping yourself out with
- 9:52Speaker 1: your thoughts because thoughts become things, all right. All days

- 20:39Speaker 1: years straight now, all right, so don't miss it. That's it.
- 20:42Speaker 1: That's all I got on right there. Sounds good? All right?

- 21:19Speaker 1: tell you about that. Right now, it is time to

- 21:26Speaker 1: you're ready. Here we go, Ready all day. Kira in
- 21:30Speaker 1: Newark says, I'm a twenty nine year old single mom
- 21:34Speaker 1: and I've been dating a man that lied about his age.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I found out he's forty six years old, and my
- 21:39Speaker 1: grandmother told me that the man is up to no good.
- 21:42Speaker 1: He's been good to me from day one, and he
- 21:45Speaker 1: takes great care of me and my son. My grandmother
- 21:48Speaker 1: says she's keeping her eye on him, and I should too.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Will this man end up being controlling or possessive? Is
- 21:58Speaker 1: he being controlling off his well? I mean he hid
- 22:05Speaker 1: his age for a reason that you have to understand.
- 22:11Speaker 1: So I mean, now that you understand that, where we're at,
- 22:14Speaker 1: I mean what you want. So if he'll do that,
- 22:17Speaker 1: he'll do some other things too. You just have to
- 22:19Speaker 1: be aware of it. What's the motivation behind hiding your age?
- 22:25Speaker 1: You know, he might be a good dude, but you
- 22:27Speaker 1: got to get to the bottom of why he hid
- 22:29Speaker 1: his age from you. If he's hiding his age, could
- 22:33Speaker 1: there be something else he's hiding because he's obviously thought
- 22:38Speaker 1: that it would be a problem if he exposed his age.
- 22:42Speaker 1: So now if he's willing to hide his age, you
- 22:45Speaker 1: get to start digging a little bit deeper to find
- 22:47Speaker 1: out what else might be hide And listen to your mother,
- 22:51Speaker 1: your grandmother. He up to something, that's for suremus We
- 22:58Speaker 1: always are. It might be good. We up to something,
- 23:02Speaker 1: all right. Anonymous in Tampa says, I'm in my mid
- 23:06Speaker 1: fifties and I've been dating a woman for two years,
- 23:09Speaker 1: but we don't live together. I messed up and got
- 23:12Speaker 1: drunk and had sex with a female that just moved
- 23:15Speaker 1: into my complex. Now she wants sex all the time,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and I'm scared she's going to run into my girlfriend
- 23:21Speaker 1: one day. This is a little too close to home
- 23:23Speaker 1: for me. So how do I make this work without
- 23:26Speaker 1: my girlfriend finding out? See player, see you fifty and
- 23:33Speaker 1: you call it in here? See your problem ain't your
- 23:36Speaker 1: girlfriend finding out? Your problem is? How can you make
- 23:40Speaker 1: it work. See, so you don't called in for me
- 23:45Speaker 1: to tell you how to hustle this woman that's been
- 23:48Speaker 1: your girlfriend for two years. Then you said you messed
- 23:50Speaker 1: up and had sex with this new woman and moved
- 23:52Speaker 1: into the complex. Then you said, now she wanted all
- 23:55Speaker 1: the time. Now you're fraid she be your girlfriend? So stupid?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Well what you want me to say? I mean? Really? No?
- 24:04Speaker 1: I mean you wanna play advice when you you this
- 24:08Speaker 1: is not a player situation? How do I make this
- 24:11Speaker 1: work without my girlfriend finding out what he wants? Dog?
- 24:14Speaker 1: This is foolishness. She gonna find out because the other
- 24:17Speaker 1: one want sex all the time. You ain't got that
- 24:20Speaker 1: many bullets left, dog, now turning you right now, you
- 24:27Speaker 1: ain't got to be real careful where you're shooting that. Now,
- 24:32Speaker 1: maybe he should move? See are you trying to help
- 24:38Speaker 1: him spread out? That might work if he spread it hot,
- 24:43Speaker 1: if he spread what out? I mean if you're talking
- 24:49Speaker 1: about away from the girl? Yeah, moved, Yeah, that's what
- 24:54Speaker 1: I'm saying. Okay, cool, cool. Most people that ain't got
- 24:58Speaker 1: since ain't got money to go with this sense the
- 25:03Speaker 1: logic Hello list something I've learned in my sixty four
- 25:11Speaker 1: years here on earth? All right? Moving up? Lyric in
- 25:15Speaker 1: Virginia writes that I'm thirty one and I recently married
- 25:19Speaker 1: the love of my life. I love him more than
- 25:21Speaker 1: life itself. But I think I made a big mistake
- 25:25Speaker 1: by not having sex before marriage. He's not equipped to
- 25:28Speaker 1: handle me and he's not built to last. If you
- 25:31Speaker 1: know what I mean. It's a quickly and he doesn't
- 25:34Speaker 1: leave an impression at all. Sex is major to me,
- 25:39Speaker 1: but I tried to do things the biblical way. Is
- 25:42Speaker 1: there a way to make it better? What what bibe
- 25:47Speaker 1: are you referring to? Now? You have staying from sex
- 25:51Speaker 1: to marriage. That's but if you're that good at it
- 25:58Speaker 1: and it's that important to you, you got good at
- 26:02Speaker 1: it somewhere better somehow, some day, and you changed. But
- 26:11Speaker 1: now he may not be as experienced, and he came
- 26:18Speaker 1: last because what you're doing, you're doing let me let
- 26:21Speaker 1: me let me give an example. You're doing calculus. He
- 26:27Speaker 1: doing a riff with tick. You follow what I'm saying.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You hadn't been the alge of a trigonometry physics you
- 26:34Speaker 1: in calculus class. Now he's still doing time tables flash.
- 26:43Speaker 1: He's trying to figure out where the decimal point is
- 26:48Speaker 1: you are all up in calculus, you're doing pie squad,
- 26:56Speaker 1: and when you put all that on the little elementary
- 26:58Speaker 1: level entry of a boy, things are gonna happen faster
- 27:04Speaker 1: than they supposed to. He will get better as time
- 27:08Speaker 1: goes on. He's the love of your life and you
- 27:12Speaker 1: could teach him some things. He is teachable. So good
- 27:16Speaker 1: luck with that quip, though, that's what I want to Well,
- 27:23Speaker 1: now you have another problem. You have a whole nother problem. Yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 1: that's never been a I can't give you no advice
- 27:37Speaker 1: on that, never had that experience. Don't know what I'm
- 27:40Speaker 1: just being true. You ain't heard that room and know where.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Have you a lot of things about me, but you
- 27:52Speaker 1: sure ain't heard that one. No move on, And Saint
- 28:00Speaker 1: Louis says, I went out this weekend with my best
- 28:02Speaker 1: friend and she kept getting calls and text messages that
- 28:06Speaker 1: she ignored. She left her phone at the table and
- 28:08Speaker 1: went to the ladies room, and I saw that the
- 28:10Speaker 1: calls were from my husband's brother, who is very married.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I love my sister in law to death. So I
- 28:17Speaker 1: confronted my best friend and she told me to mind
- 28:20Speaker 1: my business. Should I tell my sister in law to
- 28:24Speaker 1: do with you? J Wow, I don't know what's wrong
- 28:28Speaker 1: with y'all. Sain't your business. I just want to say
- 28:33Speaker 1: the world you love your sister in law. So why
- 28:35Speaker 1: would you tell your sister in law that her husband
- 28:40Speaker 1: it's calling your best friend because see you're gonna get
- 28:43Speaker 1: blamed for this because you introduced him. See you're gonna
- 28:46Speaker 1: get blamed because she your best friend. So now how
- 28:49Speaker 1: you bought this? Can't y'all all up in my marriage?
- 28:53Speaker 1: So yeah, go and pick up a phone call and
- 28:55Speaker 1: go ahead and watch what happened. Go ahead, then write
- 28:58Speaker 1: us back and let us know how win. How you
- 29:01Speaker 1: don't have best friend no more? And she steal with
- 29:05Speaker 1: him because he gonna line say he was helping her
- 29:07Speaker 1: get her call fixed. All right, we got to move on.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Thank you for fellow. Coming up at the top of
- 29:14Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have some entertainment and national news right
- 29:17Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:23Speaker 1: What a horrible story Beetter dot Com CEO Vishal garg
- 29:27Speaker 1: abruptly fired over nine hundred of his employees in the
- 29:30Speaker 1: US and India. He did this over a three minute
- 29:34Speaker 1: zoom call according to CNN, The Better dot Com CEO
- 29:38Speaker 1: made the announcement one week ago, saying that about nine
- 29:41Speaker 1: percent of its workforce has been laid off. This is
- 29:45Speaker 1: how he started the zoom call. I come to you
- 29:48Speaker 1: with not great news. The market has changed and we
- 29:51Speaker 1: have to move with it in order to survive, so
- 29:54Speaker 1: that hopefully we can thrive and hopefully deliver on our mission.
- 29:58Speaker 1: If you're on this call, you're part of the unlucky
- 30:01Speaker 1: group that is being laid off. Is terminated, effective immediately.
- 30:07Speaker 1: He added that employees could expect a call or an
- 30:10Speaker 1: email from HR detailing their benefits and severals. So there, okay, okay,
- 30:17Speaker 1: well so he thought, okay, okay, okay, so he thinked
- 30:19Speaker 1: this it okay, so I can expect a phone call
- 30:23Speaker 1: an email from HR. Okay, you can expect some things too, sir.
- 30:30Speaker 1: But yeah, you know, like you know, like just three
- 30:33Speaker 1: minutes you just gave us of agony. I got three
- 30:36Speaker 1: minutes of agony for you too, homie. Yeah, yeah, ain't
- 30:40Speaker 1: the only one that ain't gonna have a married Christmas?
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yeah agony acronyl, Yeah A gonna go both ways. My
- 30:50Speaker 1: ass ain't gonna be the only one. Now, you my
- 30:57Speaker 1: ass ain't gonna be the only one. Now you William
- 31:05Speaker 1: use the word agony to find out what it is though,
- 31:11Speaker 1: that's what That's what he heard from from the workers
- 31:14Speaker 1: that were fired on the Zoom call shock and agony.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Nobody what no cussing on the zoom? What nothing coming
- 31:22Speaker 1: back out of even black people work at this company
- 31:25Speaker 1: will But that's cold blood. I didn't know what better
- 31:31Speaker 1: dot com was. And and it's a soft bank mortgage
- 31:34Speaker 1: lender that went public back in May and then last
- 31:37Speaker 1: week received seven hundred and fifty million dollars in cash
- 31:42Speaker 1: as part of that deal. The company is prepared to
- 31:46Speaker 1: have more than a billion dollars in revenue. Yeah, exactly.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So what's the problem we got? We got to pull
- 31:54Speaker 1: up his ass. Here's a deal, he said, due to
- 32:02Speaker 1: company goals. Their company goals was to make x amount
- 32:05Speaker 1: of money. They got this money, and now in order
- 32:10Speaker 1: to maintain the money, you gotta get rid of costs. See,
- 32:15Speaker 1: let me, let me explain to you what I've learned
- 32:17Speaker 1: about these people. They will do whatever they have to
- 32:23Speaker 1: do to maintain their bottom line. When their bottom line
- 32:28Speaker 1: looks like it's going to change, they get rid of
- 32:31Speaker 1: all of the lines that lead up to the bottom line,
- 32:34Speaker 1: so they bottom line don't change, and you become a
- 32:37Speaker 1: line item and that's you. So now they bottom line
- 32:41Speaker 1: gonna change. I'll give you an example. Praise God. Doing
- 32:46Speaker 1: the pandemic, a lot of companies lost money. That's why
- 32:50Speaker 1: they had to come up with these supplemental deals for
- 32:53Speaker 1: companies to keep them afloat. I lost quite a bit
- 32:58Speaker 1: of income doing the pandemic, but all praises to God.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I did not lay off one single employees, Not one
- 33:08Speaker 1: employee did I lay off in all of my businesses. Beautiful.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I kept them and my bottom line change. But you
- 33:17Speaker 1: can't do people like you can't do people like that. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: we got to move on to Steve. It's time a
- 33:25Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, undivided attention for the lovely and talented
- 33:30Speaker 1: miss Anne Trip. Thank you very much, Steve. This is
- 33:34Speaker 1: answered with the news. Okay, folks, you know President Biden
- 33:37Speaker 1: and Russian President Putin met virtually yesterday for two hours
- 33:40Speaker 1: and the subject was what may be a planned invasion
- 33:43Speaker 1: of Ukraine and what economic and other sanctions the US
- 33:47Speaker 1: is prepared to impose if Moscow goes through with one
- 33:50Speaker 1: and according to the White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Everything was laid out real clear. President Biden looked President
- 33:57Speaker 1: Putin in the eye and told him today that things
- 34:00Speaker 1: we did not do in twenty fourteen, we are prepared
- 34:02Speaker 1: to do now. In twenty fourteen, the West slaps some
- 34:04Speaker 1: sanctions on Russia, but failed to keep Moscow from invading
- 34:08Speaker 1: and then annexing Crimea. President Biden later debriefed the European
- 34:11Speaker 1: allies on just how that two hour Putin meeting went
- 34:14Speaker 1: by the way they talked about it. Attorney Ben Crump
- 34:17Speaker 1: is joining the Reverend Jesse Jackson and demanding a hate
- 34:19Speaker 1: crime investigation into the suspicious death of Illinois State graduate
- 34:24Speaker 1: student Gilanni day Delanne. An aspiring doctor, was reportedly missing
- 34:29Speaker 1: by his mother in late August and his body apparently
- 34:32Speaker 1: found in the Illinois River only a few days later. Nevertheless,
- 34:36Speaker 1: the local cops did not let his mother know they'd
- 34:38Speaker 1: found anything or anybody until weeks later, after she went
- 34:43Speaker 1: to the national press to complain about an apparent lack
- 34:45Speaker 1: of interest in finding her son. Once they announced that
- 34:48Speaker 1: they found the brilliant twenty five year old's body, they
- 34:51Speaker 1: claimed it looked like a suicide. Gilanni's mother says that
- 34:55Speaker 1: doesn't add up, and a lot of other folks don't
- 34:57Speaker 1: feel that way as well. There's some basically semi news
- 35:00Speaker 1: about the new omicron COVID variant here. It is scientists
- 35:03Speaker 1: at fives to say that while the new strength seems
- 35:06Speaker 1: to spread faster and easier, it gives people milder cases
- 35:09Speaker 1: of the coronavirus. So that's something anyway, right. Folks on
- 35:12Speaker 1: Instagram have something to say. They say they intend to
- 35:14Speaker 1: introduce parental controls for the first time this coming in March,
- 35:19Speaker 1: allowing parents to see just how much time their children
- 35:22Speaker 1: are spending on Instagram, and they could actually set daily
- 35:26Speaker 1: limits if they want to. That's just one of the
- 35:28Speaker 1: several new features that the company's announcing in the wake
- 35:31Speaker 1: of the intense scrutiny it's gotten over its impact on
- 35:33Speaker 1: young users. Finally, Nick Cannon shared some heartbreaking news yesterday
- 35:39Speaker 1: and his new TV show, while attempting to hold back
- 35:41Speaker 1: the tears, Cannon announced the death of his youngest child,
- 35:45Speaker 1: five month old Zen, Holding my son for the last time.
- 35:54Speaker 1: People will often telling me I could pray for miracles,
- 35:56Speaker 1: and I did pray for the miracle. I pray for
- 35:58Speaker 1: the miracle of God's strength, and he says that's what's
- 36:01Speaker 1: holding him together right now. Little Zen was apparently diagnosed
- 36:04Speaker 1: with brain cancer at only two months of age. When
- 36:06Speaker 1: his parents notice something wrong, the infants to come to
- 36:09Speaker 1: his cancer on Sunday. We extend our condolences to Nick Cannon.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:15Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, death collectors are
- 36:18Speaker 1: now allowed to contact Americans on social media and by
- 36:22Speaker 1: text message, according to new rules enacted by the Consumer
- 36:26Speaker 1: Financial Protection Bureau otherwise known as CFPB. This opens the
- 36:31Speaker 1: door for creditors to slide into the DMS of Americans
- 36:34Speaker 1: who have unpaid loans. The change requires creditors to contact
- 36:39Speaker 1: the faulters privately, meaning they can send direct messages but
- 36:43Speaker 1: not post on your public facing page. You can opt
- 36:47Speaker 1: out of these messages, but creditors do not need permission
- 36:50Speaker 1: to contact you, and there are no rules for how
- 36:53Speaker 1: many messages they are allowed to send. What and what
- 36:57Speaker 1: do that mean? Yeah? Sure? I mean? What that means?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Call me? Text me if I'm not paying you? What? What? What? M?
- 37:06Speaker 1: I M? Yeah? Dog, I don't even know how to
- 37:10Speaker 1: open my DM do you know how many emails I
- 37:13Speaker 1: got this opening? Yeah, Man, you're notfing to offend me
- 37:18Speaker 1: by texting me. I ain't got it. I ain't got it.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Don't deleted as soon as it come up. They called
- 37:33Speaker 1: you answer the phone? What the hell are you gonna
- 37:35Speaker 1: do with? But dog, you have a better chance of
- 37:37Speaker 1: calling me because it likes at least I like to
- 37:42Speaker 1: talk to people and be creative. What you mean be creative?
- 37:46Speaker 1: What do you mean, mister Harvey? Mister Harvey, when can
- 37:50Speaker 1: we expect payment? Well, you always expected to keep up alive?
- 38:00Speaker 1: I mean you can get to looking forward as we speak.
- 38:03Speaker 1: If that, man makes you feel better, I ain't got
- 38:06Speaker 1: no problem. Yeah, can we expect you always expected partner?
- 38:13Speaker 1: That ain't the problem. I don't mind talking to you
- 38:16Speaker 1: because I used to be creative with bill collectors. Man,
- 38:19Speaker 1: mister Harvey, We're going to continue to call me, and
- 38:21Speaker 1: I'm saying that I'm going to continue to come up
- 38:24Speaker 1: with creative things to say to you. When you you
- 38:29Speaker 1: calling tomorrow, I'll have I'm gonna have a good one tomorrow.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Oh man, this dude, this dude was so aggravated with me. Man,
- 38:38Speaker 1: I got laid off from Ford motor company. Man, it
- 38:40Speaker 1: was just calling my house, calling my house. Matter had
- 38:43Speaker 1: no idea, Man, I could care less. I could care less.
- 38:48Speaker 1: You know whatn't no cell phones back then. They were
- 38:49Speaker 1: just calling my house. You know, you couldn't look at
- 38:52Speaker 1: your phone and see call I D So I just
- 38:54Speaker 1: picked hello, mister Harvey. Yeah, visa, Hey, man, what's happening. Sorry,
- 39:06Speaker 1: I'll tell you what's happening. It's yeah, it's it's the payment.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I say, Man, look, Lou didn't you call me last
- 39:13Speaker 1: week and I told you I wasn't working. Well I'm
- 39:17Speaker 1: still not working. Man's what you want me to I
- 39:19Speaker 1: ain't got it to give you. And I appreciate you
- 39:21Speaker 1: calling and everything, but I'm telling I ain't got it
- 39:23Speaker 1: what you want me to do, we gotta keep calling.
- 39:25Speaker 1: There ain't no problem. Part. That's the one thing that
- 39:31Speaker 1: ate it is unemployment problem. All right? Coming up with
- 39:34Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll have more of
- 39:36Speaker 1: a Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening
- 39:40Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Madonna haven't heard
- 39:44Speaker 1: that name in a while. Madonna and fifty cent have
- 39:47Speaker 1: been going back and forth in a battle that started
- 39:49Speaker 1: when she posted some photos of herself and Lingerie fifteen
- 39:53Speaker 1: didn't like the pictures, wasn't a fan, and he let
- 39:55Speaker 1: the world know in an Instagram post that read, you
- 39:58Speaker 1: know he's always messing with people. His IG post read, Yo,
- 40:03Speaker 1: this is the funniest stuff. L L. That's Madonna under
- 40:07Speaker 1: the bed, trying to do like a virgin at sixty
- 40:09Speaker 1: three now. Madonna clapped back at fifty by posting an
- 40:13Speaker 1: old picture of her and fifty with the caption here's
- 40:16Speaker 1: fifty cent pretending to be my friend. Now you have
- 40:19Speaker 1: decided to talk smack about me. You're just jealous. He
- 40:22Speaker 1: won't look as good as me or have as much
- 40:24Speaker 1: fun when you're my age. Fifty. I tried to diffuse
- 40:28Speaker 1: the situation with an apology, saying I must have hurt
- 40:31Speaker 1: Madonna's feelings. She went and dug up an old MTV
- 40:34Speaker 1: photo from oh three and Okay, I'm sorry. I did
- 40:38Speaker 1: not intend to hurt your feelings. I don't benefit from
- 40:41Speaker 1: this in any way. I said what I thought when
- 40:44Speaker 1: I saw the picture because of where I had seen
- 40:46Speaker 1: it before. I hope you accept my apology. Well, that
- 40:50Speaker 1: was an icy apologize. That's about good as you're gonna
- 40:52Speaker 1: get out of fifty. No one's gonna walk out one
- 40:56Speaker 1: to the bank. Sound good to me. I'm proud of
- 40:58Speaker 1: you fifty. Oh yeah. So could you all now send
- 41:07Speaker 1: me the picture he was talking about. Oh, I's done
- 41:11Speaker 1: and lingerie. Yeah, please Monica send it to me. Let's see. Also,
- 41:18Speaker 1: Triston back in the news. You know this is Chloe
- 41:23Speaker 1: Kardashian's ex and the father of her daughter. True Well
- 41:27Speaker 1: personal trainer sued Tristan for child's support. The trainer's name
- 41:31Speaker 1: is Merrily Nichols, and she gave birth to a son
- 41:34Speaker 1: last Thursday and claims that Tristan is the father. She
- 41:39Speaker 1: exposed alleged text messages from Tristan insisting that she abort
- 41:43Speaker 1: the baby they made while he was dating Chloe. Tristan
- 41:48Speaker 1: also offered a flat seventy five thousand dollars in exchange
- 41:51Speaker 1: for her dropping her fraternity suit and monthly child support wishes.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Tristan then allegedly told Merrily that seventy five thousand dollars
- 42:00Speaker 1: with a better deal because child support is based on
- 42:03Speaker 1: income and he won't make any more money once he
- 42:05Speaker 1: retires from the NBA at the end of the season.
- 42:09Speaker 1: He wrote Merrilegue quote, you won't get nothing having a
- 42:13Speaker 1: kid with the father who's unemployed. You know what, everything God,
- 42:20Speaker 1: wait a minute, he texts this. Yeah, we got that.
- 42:27Speaker 1: This woman would take this to court. Now, everything was
- 42:35Speaker 1: dribbling a basketball. Why don't you be in the news
- 42:37Speaker 1: for something with basketball? You I ain't never talked about
- 42:39Speaker 1: you in sports talk now because he made good money.
- 42:43Speaker 1: That's a good point, Julian, yeahin' he made good money.
- 42:47Speaker 1: It's well, I mean, come on, it's Tristan talking. You
- 42:49Speaker 1: ain't hurt nothing bout Tristan in the NBA because he
- 42:52Speaker 1: ain't even he ain't been talked about since they wanted
- 42:53Speaker 1: a championship with the cath Liz everything else, it's just
- 42:56Speaker 1: been about nothing going on on the court. No, yeah, yeah,
- 43:00Speaker 1: I'm just yeah, consistently, he gonna have to pay nothing
- 43:11Speaker 1: because he listened to me. He's there's no denial from
- 43:17Speaker 1: him that that's the baby exactly. So, Bro, welcome to
- 43:24Speaker 1: the ride seventy five. Boy, you know how much money
- 43:28Speaker 1: you've child's ball. Yeah, he gonna retire. He ain't going
- 43:33Speaker 1: to pay net. Oh man, that's not how it works. No, Bro,
- 43:38Speaker 1: that that's not how it works. By. I don't know.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Let me introduce him to this concept. He's not familiar
- 43:45Speaker 1: with the call forensic accounting. Uh, they're gonna dig up
- 43:49Speaker 1: every asset you have, and you're gonna be paying money
- 43:53Speaker 1: based on your value, your net and now where you
- 43:56Speaker 1: get some more income from. That's gonna be your damn problem. Man.
- 44:03Speaker 1: But you finning get a number from the court, homie
- 44:06Speaker 1: every month. You got to meet that number because wal
- 44:09Speaker 1: greens be open, call it'd be open. I mean, you
- 44:12Speaker 1: better talk Tommy. It's right the back there by. The
- 44:15Speaker 1: farmer said, they write down that wreck. They write back there.
- 44:21Speaker 1: So Monica now need to picture this girl to Ammadonna.
- 44:27Speaker 1: All right, all right, we'll be back with more of
- 44:31Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 44:34Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 44:39Speaker 1: right about four minutes after the hour. It's my Strawberry
- 44:42Speaker 1: letter for today and the subject is I'm dating super Fly.
- 44:47Speaker 1: We'll get into that just a minute. I'm dating super Fly.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Right now. The nephew is here with today's brank phone call.
- 44:57Speaker 1: What you got for us and a half? I got
- 44:59Speaker 1: bring my breast back, immediately, bring my breast back it's missing.
- 45:11Speaker 1: It's mine and I want it bring my breast back. Okay,
- 45:17Speaker 1: got dog, But if you would hello, I'm trying to
- 45:21Speaker 1: reach Oliver. Yeah, this is him. Hey, you married you?
- 45:25Speaker 1: You engaged in Madison? Right? Yes, I am. There's a
- 45:28Speaker 1: problem with it or something? What's up? No? No, no, no, no.
- 45:31Speaker 1: My name is Ricky. Man. Have you heard about the
- 45:34Speaker 1: last person that she was engaged too, Well, she kind
- 45:36Speaker 1: of spoke briefly about you. You know what. Man. First
- 45:39Speaker 1: of all, let me just say this congratulations. Okay, let
- 45:41Speaker 1: me let me be the first say that. Congratulations for
- 45:44Speaker 1: y'all getting engaged. And I hope it worked with y'all. Okay, Okay,
- 45:48Speaker 1: here here's why I call uh we got We got
- 45:52Speaker 1: a situation at hand that we kind of need to
- 45:54Speaker 1: clear up between you and I. So what is it?
- 45:58Speaker 1: And me and you? Got a little conversation we need
- 46:00Speaker 1: to have about property? Well we're talking about property? What property?
- 46:03Speaker 1: And the property we lived in? What are you talking about?
- 46:05Speaker 1: This is my property? Okay, Now I'm not talking about
- 46:08Speaker 1: your house or nothing like that. Oh I've got some
- 46:10Speaker 1: property over there that belonged to me, and I'm trying
- 46:13Speaker 1: to figure out how we can rectify problems. Well, I'm
- 46:15Speaker 1: quite sure if there's something not to pack up or whatever,
- 46:18Speaker 1: you can come and get it. I don't know what
- 46:19Speaker 1: do you have over here in my house that yours? Okay,
- 46:23Speaker 1: the ash the ashual breast that she had belonged to me,
- 46:27Speaker 1: the breast breast. I bought her some breast I plant. Man,
- 46:30Speaker 1: I ain't know nothing about nor the breast in plants. Okay,
- 46:33Speaker 1: you might not know nothing about it, but the bottom
- 46:35Speaker 1: line is I spend ten thousand dollars or some breasting plants,
- 46:38Speaker 1: and I want my property back, buddy. Man, jeez, no, man,
- 46:44Speaker 1: you're not getting back. What are you talking about? Breasting plan?
- 46:46Speaker 1: I ain't know nothing about that. Man, Man, I understand
- 46:49Speaker 1: you not knowing about it, but I'm calling you like
- 46:50Speaker 1: a man explaining it to you. I'm trying to let
- 46:52Speaker 1: you know. You know, I bought her some breasts and plants.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Now that's my property now, just like just like when
- 46:59Speaker 1: it don't work out with with uh an engagement don't
- 47:02Speaker 1: work out, you want your ring back? Well, I want
- 47:05Speaker 1: my breath back. Oh no, man, if you had gave

- 47:11Speaker 1: what do you I mean, come on, man, he ain't
- 47:13Speaker 1: get back. Hey man, I'm getting them back. Oh I'm

- 47:18Speaker 1: without in bought. No, no, that ain't. That ain't what's
- 47:20Speaker 1: gonna happen. No, no, no, brother, that ain't gonna happen. Now.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I don't know what you're calling for about. Thus ten
- 47:26Speaker 1: thousand dollars, the breasting plague you ain't getting. You come
- 47:28Speaker 1: over here if you want to. When you with somebody,
- 47:31Speaker 1: when you lose them, you lose every damn thing you
- 47:33Speaker 1: paid for. So if you bought us and you're done,
- 47:36Speaker 1: you should have bought when you got married. You know
- 47:38Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You should have waited then boughted them.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Tell them mind. I'm gonna be over here. That's what
- 47:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna do with your breast and plans. So your

- 47:50Speaker 1: in your life. Hey man, you don't tell me when
- 47:52Speaker 1: and when when I supposed to buy? Thought I buy

- 47:57Speaker 1: is them breast belong to me. Now. No, we're gonna work.
- 47:59Speaker 1: We're somebody gonna pay me ten thousand dollars one way
- 48:02Speaker 1: or the up. Oh no, no, you ain't getting nothing
- 48:04Speaker 1: back here. Man, you got to move on with your life. Man.

- 48:16Speaker 1: I'm coming over there. I'm coming over there and have
- 48:18Speaker 1: a conversation with Madison about this, because that's who evidently
- 48:21Speaker 1: I need to talk to you. No, you're not talking

- 48:49Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, man. Have you even bought
- 48:51Speaker 1: the ring from out of Syre? Yeah, I've bought the ring.
- 48:54Speaker 1: That's what you do when you get engaged. I paid
- 48:56Speaker 1: the ring is bought. Brother, way you're must ring calls
- 49:00Speaker 1: about eighty nine thousand dollars. That's a nice ring fee fee.
- 49:03Speaker 1: The breast caused more than the damn ring. You're a
- 49:05Speaker 1: cheaper man, man, you man, I mean, I don't about
- 49:08Speaker 1: to ring you tell me about Look, dude, she going then?
- 49:10Speaker 1: Breasts ain't your us no more? Man, you don't get
- 49:12Speaker 1: back here. If he was a wing, a pair of
- 49:14Speaker 1: shoes or something, I eat that back. So what na?
- 49:16Speaker 1: What nah? Hey? Man? All I'm gonna say is this here.
- 49:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna come over there and have a conversation with
- 49:21Speaker 1: Madison about my breast because the breath bloss to me.
- 49:24Speaker 1: You're not coming over here and getting nothing. She ain't
- 49:27Speaker 1: even here. But you can bring your over here. You
- 49:29Speaker 1: come over here with your chest pushed out, I'm gonna
- 49:31Speaker 1: push it back in for your brother. Don't I got
- 49:34Speaker 1: two breaths over there? You tell them is five thousand dollars.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I won't both for man. Look, you ain't getting who

- 54:28Speaker 1: you enoughhew, subject I'm dating super Fly. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I'm in my late forties and I'm a puppeteer and
- 54:36Speaker 1: I do stage plays and at the children's theater. I
- 54:41Speaker 1: also teach theater at a community college, and I work
- 54:43Speaker 1: part time in a vintage boutique. I just got out
- 54:46Speaker 1: of a bad relationship, so I was just trying to
- 54:48Speaker 1: stay busy. But then I'm at a slightly older man
- 54:53Speaker 1: and I'm fascinated by him. He came into the boutique
- 54:56Speaker 1: about three months ago and he told me he's a
- 54:59Speaker 1: thrift store for attic because he likes clothes from the
- 55:02Speaker 1: sixties and seventies. I sold him a lot of vintage shirts,
- 55:06Speaker 1: two pairs of bell bottomed slacks we want. We went
- 55:09Speaker 1: on a few dates, and I realized that he really
- 55:11Speaker 1: does like the old school vibe in his clothing. He
- 55:14Speaker 1: visited my home after we went out a few times,
- 55:17Speaker 1: and he said it was too modern for his taste,
- 55:20Speaker 1: and he suggested I get wall to wall carpet because
- 55:23Speaker 1: hardwood floors make it home less comfortable. Then I visited huh.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Then I visited his home and it was like a
- 55:33Speaker 1: time warp. He has a picture of the Jackson five
- 55:37Speaker 1: on his mantel and it is signed by Joe Jackson.
- 55:40Speaker 1: He said that his era. That's his era, and he
- 55:43Speaker 1: loves old music. I figured that it was a great
- 55:47Speaker 1: time for him in his life, so he kind of
- 55:50Speaker 1: is stuck there. Now when we go out, it's not
- 55:53Speaker 1: as embarrassing, and I love his old cologne and his
- 55:56Speaker 1: pinky ring. He is well spoken, so when he chooses
- 55:59Speaker 1: to talking seventies jargon, it throws me off, but I
- 56:05Speaker 1: don't show it. The more time we spend together, the
- 56:08Speaker 1: more I'm falling for him. But I don't know if
- 56:10Speaker 1: he will ever snap out of this phase. There's no
- 56:13Speaker 1: way I could live in his house with the laminate
- 56:15Speaker 1: kitchen counters and furry rugs all over the bathroom, and
- 56:19Speaker 1: he can't live in mine with the hardwood floors. I
- 56:23Speaker 1: want to ask him what his intentions are, but I
- 56:25Speaker 1: don't want to be too forward. I also want to
- 56:27Speaker 1: know if he's willing to compromise on his superfly tendencies.
- 56:31Speaker 1: How do I handle this? Well? You dig anyway? Well,
- 56:38Speaker 1: I get all wrapped up in this man and his quirks,
- 56:42Speaker 1: and you already know he's not going to change. I mean,
- 56:45Speaker 1: I think you're setting yourself up to lose and to
- 56:49Speaker 1: be hurt in this situation. He is not going to change.
- 56:52Speaker 1: He's been like this since the seventies. This is twenty
- 56:56Speaker 1: twenty one, you know, Like you said, the seventies were
- 56:59Speaker 1: probably a good time for him, and yes the music
- 57:02Speaker 1: was everything. But how can he be so stuck and
- 57:05Speaker 1: live his entire life in the past. What about all
- 57:08Speaker 1: the stuff that's happened since then? I mean, he is
- 57:11Speaker 1: not super Fly. That was a movie, okay, did even
- 57:15Speaker 1: see the remake a few years ago? That was really good.
- 57:17Speaker 1: He probably missed that though, because he's still stuck in
- 57:20Speaker 1: the seventies. The point is, we cannot live in the past.
- 57:24Speaker 1: The past is over. We have to find something we
- 57:27Speaker 1: enjoy about this life here and now make the best
- 57:30Speaker 1: of it, because one thing's for sure, life is short.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Everything changes, and we must make those necessary adjustments and
- 57:37Speaker 1: just be grateful that we got a chance to see
- 57:40Speaker 1: and appreciate the seventies, But embrace where you are now.
- 57:44Speaker 1: You can't go back there and stay there with him.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Live in the now, because that's all you have. Mister
- 57:50Speaker 1: Superfly doesn't see it that way. So that's why I say,
- 57:54Speaker 1: I don't think you guys are gonna make it. Steve
- 57:58Speaker 1: Ah disagree with everything. Shirley just said I do. I'll
- 58:06Speaker 1: support this brother. I am all about the era he's from.
- 58:12Speaker 1: I love him. I don't see how you're gonna get
- 58:16Speaker 1: hurt in this. Nah, let me say this, he is
- 58:21Speaker 1: not going to change at all that much. Shirley got right,
- 58:29Speaker 1: But that don't mean he gonna hurt you. Now. First
- 58:33Speaker 1: of all, ladies, let me start with child. You're in
- 58:36Speaker 1: your late forties, you are puppeteer, and you do stage
- 58:42Speaker 1: plays as a children's theater. You're lucky anybody talking to you,
- 58:52Speaker 1: because if your old ass tell me you're a puppeteer
- 58:55Speaker 1: and you do a children's theater, I'm fenna walk away
- 59:01Speaker 1: because you ain't even the puppet. You're the puppeteer. You're
- 59:06Speaker 1: the one up under the thing, talking with your hand
- 59:08Speaker 1: like you got a sock on it. So now let's
- 59:11Speaker 1: not getting mad at him, Sirley, she didn't bring a
- 59:16Speaker 1: whole lot to the table to start with, puppeteer children
- 59:20Speaker 1: to play part and work part time at the vintage boutique.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Come on, now, let's stay focused, which is where he
- 59:30Speaker 1: walked into and you met him. He bought a bunch
- 59:32Speaker 1: of old sixty seventy shirts and two pair of bail Bops,
- 59:36Speaker 1: y'all went on some dates, and you realize he loves
- 59:40Speaker 1: the old school vibe in his clothes. You out on
- 59:44Speaker 1: the date with ron O'Neil, y'a, out on the date
- 59:47Speaker 1: with the Mac, You out on a date with pretty Tony,
- 59:53Speaker 1: You out on the date with the seventies. You in
- 59:57Speaker 1: his car. If he could still have an eight track,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: he would. I'm telling you he got a really real
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: in his house somewhere. So now you say you do
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: you kind of like the old cologne he wears. That's
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: high Karate, dr Car Polo, Houston and Bruce. He got
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: all of it on the counter. I love this dude
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: right here. When we come back, Shirley and Tommy will
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: ask Pimping questions any question they won't, and he gonna
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: show you why the seventies was all in that Liza Jim.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: When we come back, one of the greatest players from
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: the seventies, Pimping will be here to respond. Coming up
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour, I'm dating super
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Fly is the Strawberry letter subject. We'll be back right
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right? Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter subject, I'm dating super Fly. Wow, Steve,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: It's gonna be here just for a minute, because what

- 1:01:08Speaker 1: this woman to met this man is vintage. He's slightly older.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: She forty something, so we already know he's probably sixty
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: at least because he loved his seventies, as do I.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: And now she kind of liked the stuff. He were
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: a cologne which is high Karati to car Polo Houston Brute.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: But his house is waller wall carpet. And got a
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: picture that Jackson five signed up there by Joe Jackson,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: which means he was no where near to Jackson five.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: But he did see Joe somewhere at a club at
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a tack, so he got Joe to sign the picture
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: and that meant a lot to it. He's got laminated kitchen,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: countless furry rugs all over the bathroom. He can't live
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: in your house because of the harwood floors, and he
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: didn't told you you need waller wall carpon to make
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: your house. I want to ask him what his intentions are,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: but I don't want to be too for to also
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: want to know if he's willing to compromise on his

- 1:08:04Speaker 1: question I'm gonna ask you in a minute time. But
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Michael Jordan's uh, this is this is crazy. His member
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Billiard has been going hot for the last couple of years,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: but this was this is kind of crazy. Michael Jordan's
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: worn underwear sould for three thousand, three hundred and forty
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: one dollars drawn his drawn though three thousand, three hundred
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: and forty one dollars, and believe it or not, nineteen
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: people being for the draws. I don't know, man, They
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: started at five hundred dollars though, that's a lot of
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: bid to work it up at three thousands dw i'lenna
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: ask you sometimes how much you think your draw self?
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: If you think everybody want you, boy, we're gonna get molded.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: What Mike got way mold than Michael Jordan draw. I
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: know I'm about twelve fifteen thousand somewhere in now your
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: draws here? Hell yeah, because nobody ever seen the draws.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: The draws A g I. Joe Ware actually own the
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: shut You know that's gonna be expencive pair who who
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: you know? Being able to wear some draws from an
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: action figure and that's not an action figure really in action.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I got some draws, Jesus, I got some draws, and
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna say I won't so I wore a leather
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: suit and I had some draws on it in a
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: leather suit, and you can buy them draws. The only
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: problem is they still wet. Who won't go? I want
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: they sell for I don't know. I'm scared to pick
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: them up out the corner the flow right now. That's
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: not that crazy man. Three thousand, three hundred forty one
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: dollars man, that's crazy for some draws that Michael Jordan wore.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: But if it is that they have been worn, so
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: they said, hey, these have been worn by Mike. They
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: know what episode, what game it was. I need to
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: know because I can't believe nineteen people just being on
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: another man's drawl. That's crazy. Dog. I love Mike. I
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: ain't waiting, I ain't beating for them, though I love Mike.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Give me a jersey, all right, thanks Junior. Coming up

- 1:11:24Speaker 1: it made him physically ill to the point of vomiting. Nah,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: because you ain't something bad. Yeah, that's not true. So

- 1:12:02Speaker 1: If you're in the back seat of her car and
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: her boyfriend and put a banana in your tailpipe, you're
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: gonna have another situation like that, like that maybe a
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: fighter songible. You know it ain't ain't vomited. I mean,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna drink some peter Light and keep it moving.

- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I couldn't. I tried tell me. But like even in
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: his book, I haven't read the book, but if he's
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: doing like real, I don't I don't know man, I

- 1:19:50Speaker 1: going on. But I don't want to be no little

- 1:20:24Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour and some closing remarks
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: from the one and Only Steve Harvey. Right after this.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this Wednesday.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: It's been a good day, Thank you Lord, and time
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: for some closing remarks from the one and only Steven. Well,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you know, you know, we do this segment every day
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: called would You Rather? And it made me this morning
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: about that the game that we played would You Rather?
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Which is all fun in games, right, but I think
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: about my life. I was speaking yesterday at the Youth
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Entrepreneurship program in Dubai at the Explots. Spoke to a
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: really highly educated group and but even with all that education,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I met women with engineering degrees, men who had doctorates,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: And to be honest with you, I was probably the
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: most least educated person in the room because if everybody
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: that was in that room, I was probably the only
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: one that didn't have a degree. But yet still I
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: was the speaker at this confidence in Dubai yesterday. And
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: the thing I've learned is no matter what your education level,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you still after you get this incredible accomplishment, after you
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: make to reach this incredible goal, which is an amazing
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: goal to reach by the way, to educate yourself, to
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: get a degree, to get a PhD, to have a master's.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I mean, I'm constantly amazed at people who have the
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: ability to do that because I couldn't complete that task.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: But I'm I'm amazed at how people can gut it
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: out and go through school and survive that whole process.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: But after you've survived that process and you awarded this degree,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: this certificate that hangs on your wall, that that represents
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: to anybody who wants to employ you, that you're teachable,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: that you have the ability to learn and retain information.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: How do you take that and become successful? And that's
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: why I'm in that because in spite of the fact
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: that I don't have a degree of any kind. I
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: can speak to a room full of people who I
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: don't know and be requested as a keynote speaker in
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: an event like this because one thing God has given me.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: It's an amazing journey that I'm able to share with
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: people about the process to success. See, once you understand
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: the principles of success, you can apply them to anything.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: You can apply them to your engineering degree, your doctorate degree,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: your medical degree, your science degree, your mathematical degree, whatever
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: it is, you can apply it once you learn the
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: principles of success. So when you talk about I would rather,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I was talking to this group and then and after
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: which we did a Q and A and it lasted
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: a lot longer than I was supposed to be there.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: But I just felt like staying with them because they
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: were so curious. So I have some I would rather
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: in my life too, and one of them is I
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: would rather fail pursuing my dreams than to live my
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: life without them. I really would. You know, everybody on
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Instagram the other day was talking about he said, I
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: get tired when people come to me and go, how
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: is that little business you got going? You know, in
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: his response with something to the effect that, what you
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: mean how my little business going? I don't ask you
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: how your little job going? Under one you got to
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: ask for permission to be off on Thursday. And I
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: thought it was so funny because it spoke to how
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: people really look about your dreams and stuff and how
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: that little business going. Well, guess what I would rather
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: fail pursuing my dreams than to live in this little
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: world without him. I'll tell you that right now, because
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: in pursuing your dreams, you are living, because you are living. Man.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Pursuing your dreams means you're waking up and you're going
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: for something. If you don't ever pursue your dreams, man,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you're waking up in pursuit of what what. I'd rather
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: fail pursuing my dreams than to live in this world
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: without him. I would rather die trying than to not
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: have attempted at all. Dam Steve, that's harsh. Well, I
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: would rather I would rather die trying than to never
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: have attempted at all. There's a poem out and now
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: I'm paraphrasing again, and one of the standsas in the
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: poem says, the credit belongs to the man who is
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: actually in the arena, whose face is marred with dust, blood, sweat,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: and tears, not to those cold and timid souls in
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: the stands who know neither victory nor defeat. I would
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: rather die trying than to having never attempted at all.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I feel sorry for people, man, who don't attempt to
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: live their life to the fullest. I really feel sorry
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: for people because they don't know what they're missing. They
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: don't know the feeling of waking up pursuing something that
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: seems so far away and you don't really know when
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: you're gonna get there, Which leads to my lass one too,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: because I would rather know the feeling of being almost
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: there than to know the feeling that I know where
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: near it just because I never started. You understand what
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: I'm saying. I would rather know the feeling of almost there.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: And some people don't like that feeling. Man. I can
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: see it, I can taste it, but I'm not quite there, man,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: And I know that could be frustrating at times. But
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I would rather feel that than to know that I'm
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: nowhere near it simply because I never started. What is
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: that feeling? How do you live with yourself every day? Man?
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: Knowing that you're doing nothing, nothing to better your life,
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: nothing to better your position, nothing to sharpen your skills, nothing.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: I'd rather be the guy man. Man. It seemed like
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: you begetting so close, Steve, but something always happened. I'd
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: rather know that feeling than to know I ain't nowhere
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: near it because I never started. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: I hope that means something to somebody today. Hey, listen,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: I'm steal in Dubai. I'll be here a few more
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: days and then I head to Israel for Miss Universe.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: So y'all pray for my travels, and I'll pray for
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: my family and everything I love. Y'all. Peis for all
