- 0:01Speaker 1: The longest governments shut down in America's history. Finally over,
- 0:08Speaker 1: the stopgap funding measure keeps the government operating through January
- 0:13Speaker 1: thirtieth while Congress works on a long term deal. Now,
- 0:17Speaker 1: let's be very clear, there's a very good chance come
- 0:20Speaker 1: January thirtieth, the Democrats could shut the government down yet again.
- 0:27Speaker 1: President Donald Trump signed the legislation to fund the government again,
- 0:31Speaker 1: putting an end to the longest shutdown in history. And
- 0:35Speaker 1: Democrats got nothing from doing this. The exact same deal
- 0:41Speaker 1: that was made in Washington to reopen the government was
- 0:45Speaker 1: on the table before the government even shut down. So
- 0:49Speaker 1: why did they hold Americans hostage, hurt so many Americans,
- 0:53Speaker 1: and make sure that Americans suffered, whether it was food
- 0:56Speaker 1: stamps or missing a paycheck because they wanted to hurt
- 1:00Speaker 1: Donald Trump, and they put politics ahead of the country. Now,
- 1:05Speaker 1: Trump signaled Monday the government would reopen soon. As consequence
- 1:10Speaker 1: of elapse and funding continued a snowball, including miss paychecks
- 1:14Speaker 1: for federal workers and airline delays stemming from air traffic
- 1:18Speaker 1: controllers staffing shortages. Some Democrats wanted this to actually move
- 1:23Speaker 1: past Thanksgiving to really hurt Americans because they believed you
- 1:27Speaker 1: would blame Donald Trump for it. Now, the bill keeps
- 1:31Speaker 1: the funding of the government at the same levels during
- 1:34Speaker 1: the fiscal year of twenty twenty five through January the thirtieth,
- 1:38Speaker 1: to provide additional time to hash out a longer appropriations
- 1:42Speaker 1: measure for the fiscal year twenty twenty six. Now, the
- 1:46Speaker 1: measure also funds a Supplemental Nutrition assistant program known as
- 1:50Speaker 1: SNAP or food stamps, that more than forty two million
- 1:54Speaker 1: Americans rely on through September. Yes, that's far too many
- 1:58Speaker 1: Americans that are on foods Sampson. We can talk about
- 2:01Speaker 1: that as well another day. But the main point was this,
- 2:05Speaker 1: Why hold families in need hostage? That's exactly what the
- 2:10Speaker 1: Democrats wanted to do by design. There were multiple votes
- 2:15Speaker 1: to just fund food stamps, and Democrats every time voted no,
- 2:21Speaker 1: while at the same time claiming that Donald Trump is
- 2:23Speaker 1: hurting poor people in America. Now, the reopening of the
- 2:28Speaker 1: government comes after more than forty days of a lapse
- 2:31Speaker 1: in funding aimed at a stallmate between Senate Republicans and
- 2:34Speaker 1: Democrats over the stop gap spending bill that would have
- 2:39Speaker 1: funded the government through November twenty one. After a lapse
- 2:42Speaker 1: in funding started on October one, The Senate passed legislation
- 2:46Speaker 1: Monday night that would reopen the government by a sixty
- 2:48Speaker 1: to forty vote, the exact bare minimum number needed to
- 2:52Speaker 1: reopen the government. A total of eight Democrats voted alongside
- 2:57Speaker 1: the Republican colleagues for the measure. Subsequently passed its version
- 3:01Speaker 1: of the measure on Wednesday, and the deal came as
- 3:05Speaker 1: fallout from the shutdown came to a head, including, as
- 3:08Speaker 1: I mentioned, massive travel disruptions at US airports where the
- 3:12Speaker 1: air traffic controllers and the TSA officers were required to
- 3:16Speaker 1: work and we're gearing up to miss a second paycheck
- 3:20Speaker 1: as a result, these staffers were calling in sick, taking
- 3:23Speaker 1: on second jobs, creating staffing shortages and massive flight delays. Now,
- 3:29Speaker 1: the standoff between Republicans and Democrats all originate over a
- 3:33Speaker 1: disagreement about Obamacare. And the fact is Obamacare knows the
- 3:39Speaker 1: Affordable Care Act is not affordable at all, but healthcare
- 3:44Speaker 1: providers health insurance. I should say, carriers are making billions
- 3:50Speaker 1: off of Obamacare. And that's one of the problems that
- 3:53Speaker 1: conservatives wanted to talk about. Now, I also want you
- 3:57Speaker 1: to hear what the President had to say from the
- 3:59Speaker 1: Oval office as he was signing this bill into law.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Take a list of the present's words, carefully.
- 4:06Speaker 2: United States, and an attempt to extort American taxpayers for
- 4:10Speaker 2: hundreds of billions of dollars for illegal aliens and people
- 4:14Speaker 2: that came into our country illegally, from gangs, from prisons,
- 4:19Speaker 2: from mental institutions. They wanted to pay them one point
- 4:22Speaker 2: five trillion dollars, which would have really hurt our health
- 4:26Speaker 2: care businesses and our recipients at levels never seen before. Today,
- 4:32Speaker 2: we're sending a clear message that we will never give
- 4:35Speaker 2: in to extortion, because that's what it was they tried
- 4:38Speaker 2: to extort. The Democrats tried to extort our country. In
- 4:42Speaker 2: just a moment, I'll sign a bill exactly like we
- 4:45Speaker 2: asked Democrats to send us all along many days ago.
- 4:50Speaker 2: This cossed the country one point five trillion dollars, this
- 4:53Speaker 2: little excursion that they took us on. Republicans never wanted
- 4:58Speaker 2: a shut down and voted fifty times for a clean
- 5:01Speaker 2: continuation of funding. There's never been a time when one
- 5:06Speaker 2: or the other party ever didn't sign a continuations.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Just a continuation, not a big deal.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It's a continuation of Will PAULK later Yet, the extremists
- 5:16Speaker 2: in the other party insisted on creating the longest government
- 5:21Speaker 2: shut down in American history, and they did.
- 5:23Speaker 3: It purely for political reasons.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I want to thank Speaker Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader
- 5:29Speaker 2: John Thune, as well as House Majority of Leader Sievescalise,
- 5:33Speaker 2: Majority Whipped Tom Emmer, and numerous other great Republican leaders
- 5:37Speaker 2: and Congressmen and senators who are here and frankly spent
- 5:41Speaker 2: a long time in Washington getting this thing to go away.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I also want to thank the broad coalition of Americans
- 5:48Speaker 2: that stood with us in this fight to reopen government,
- 5:51Speaker 2: including the Teamsters, the American Federation of Government Employees, the
- 5:57Speaker 2: Fraternal Order of Police, Amvetstional Small Business Association, the American
- 6:03Speaker 2: Farm Bureau, the American Trucking Association. These are all incredible patriots.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Airlines for America, the Allied Pilots Association, the National Air
- 6:13Speaker 2: Traffic Controllers Association, and many others unions and non unions.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Over the past seven weeks, the Democrats shut down as
- 6:21Speaker 2: inflicted massive harm. They caused twenty thousand flights to be
- 6:26Speaker 2: canceled or delayed. They departed so many times so late,
- 6:31Speaker 2: people were hurt, so badly. Nobody's ever seen anything like
- 6:35Speaker 2: this one. This was a no brainer. This was an
- 6:38Speaker 2: easy extension, but they didn't want to do it the
- 6:41Speaker 2: easy way.
- 6:42Speaker 3: They had to do it the hard ware. They looked
- 6:43Speaker 3: very bad the Democrats do.
- 6:46Speaker 2: They deprived more than one million government workers from their
- 6:49Speaker 2: paychecks and cut off food staff benefits for millions and
- 6:52Speaker 2: millions more Americans in need. They caused tens of thousands
- 6:56Speaker 2: of federal contractors and small businesses to go unpaid, and
- 7:00Speaker 2: the total effect of the damage their antics cause will
- 7:05Speaker 2: take weeks, in probably months to really calculate accurately, including
- 7:10Speaker 2: the serious harm that they did to our economy and
- 7:12Speaker 2: to people and the families. So I just want to
- 7:16Speaker 2: tell the American people you should not forget this when
- 7:18Speaker 2: we come up to midterms and other things.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Don't forget what they've done to our country. You also want.
- 7:23Speaker 2: To call for a termination to the filibuster so that
- 7:28Speaker 2: this can never happen again. If we had the filibuster terminated,
- 7:31Speaker 2: this would never happen again. And don't forget we have
- 7:34Speaker 2: another date coming up in the not too distant future.
- 7:37Speaker 2: We can never let this happen again, and we should
- 7:39Speaker 2: be able to pass great, really great legislation. So I
- 7:43Speaker 2: say terminate the filibuster because by the way, the Democrats
- 7:47Speaker 2: will do it immediately if they ever assumed office, which
- 7:51Speaker 2: hopefully they won't.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Today we had.
- 7:53Speaker 2: The highest stock rocket price ever in all of the
- 7:58Speaker 2: different markets, set a record. It's the forty eighth time
- 8:03Speaker 2: in the nine months that I've been in office that
- 8:05Speaker 2: we had this record set. So think of that, forty
- 8:08Speaker 2: eight times we had a record set.
- 8:11Speaker 3: But today is the highest of them all. We're going
- 8:14Speaker 3: to break new grounds. Nobody would have thought.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I have with us, not only the great political leaders,
- 8:19Speaker 2: but the great business leaders of our country. They're standing
- 8:22Speaker 2: right behind me and right really alongside of me. And
- 8:25Speaker 2: if we would have told them a year ago that
- 8:28Speaker 2: we'd be having stock prices to side, none of them.
- 8:30Speaker 2: In fact I just asked them that question, none of
- 8:33Speaker 2: them would have believed it. And that anures to jobs
- 8:36Speaker 2: and very importantly to four oh one case, which have
- 8:39Speaker 2: also set a record today, a record high for the
- 8:42Speaker 2: people that have four oh one case. And also I
- 8:46Speaker 2: want to thank Walmart because they came up with a
- 8:49Speaker 2: fantastic study. It was the cost of Thanksgiving coming up,
- 8:54Speaker 2: and the cost of Thanksgiving from a year ago under
- 8:57Speaker 2: Sleepy Joe Biden and twenty five percent lower this year
- 9:02Speaker 2: than we were a year ago.
- 9:04Speaker 3: And it's a very inclusive report. So I want to
- 9:07Speaker 3: thank Walmart.
- 9:07Speaker 2: They've done it for many years, but we believe in
- 9:10Speaker 2: that and we believe in that company. I want to
- 9:13Speaker 2: also thank the eighth Senate Democrats who finally did the
- 9:16Speaker 2: right thing in voting to end this.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Craziness, this madness.
- 9:20Speaker 2: But unfortunately the vast majority of Congressional Democrats were happy
- 9:26Speaker 2: for millions of Americans to suffer. They really did suffer too,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and the Democrats admitted, they said, well, no, we finally
- 9:33Speaker 2: have a point. Even though people have to suffer, we
- 9:35Speaker 2: finally have a point. And that didn't work out too
- 9:37Speaker 2: well for them. But they really went out and they
- 9:41Speaker 2: could appease the fringe benefits of their far left base.
- 9:46Speaker 2: But that didn't work out because now they're far left
- 9:48Speaker 2: base is angrier than ever before. We actually elected a
- 9:53Speaker 2: mayor of New York City who happens to be a communist.
- 9:56Speaker 3: When was that going to happen?
- 9:58Speaker 2: Remember I said all the time I'm during my campaign,
- 10:01Speaker 2: we will never be a socialist country.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And that's right.
- 10:04Speaker 2: We turned out to have a communist in New York City,
- 10:08Speaker 2: and if you look at his views, those are the
- 10:10Speaker 2: views of a communist, not a socialist. So this is
- 10:13Speaker 2: no way to run a country. I hope we can
- 10:16Speaker 2: all agree that the government should never be shut down
- 10:18Speaker 2: again again, and the filibuster, terminate the filibuster.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It will never happen again.
- 10:24Speaker 2: So with my signature, the federal government will now resume
- 10:28Speaker 2: normal operations, and my administration and our partners in Congress
- 10:32Speaker 2: will continue our work to laura in the cost of living,
- 10:36Speaker 2: restore public safety, grow our economy, and make America affordable
- 10:40Speaker 2: again for all Americans again. Costs are way down, energy
- 10:45Speaker 2: is way down. Gasoline is at two dollars and fifty
- 10:49Speaker 2: cents a gallon versus four dollars and seventy cents for
- 10:53Speaker 2: the Democrats, and we think we're going to hit pretty
- 10:56Speaker 2: close to two dollars a gallon. That's like a really
- 10:59Speaker 2: mass of tax cut. It's the equivalent of that. And
- 11:02Speaker 2: speaking of tax cuts, our great, big, beautiful bill is
- 11:05Speaker 2: giving everybody in our economy, middle income workers, low income everybody,
- 11:12Speaker 2: the biggest tax cut in the history of our country.
- 11:14Speaker 3: And there's no.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Tax on tips, no tax on social security, and very importantly,
- 11:20Speaker 2: no tax on overtime. You work overtime, there's no tax.
- 11:23Speaker 2: That's among the things that add up to the biggest
- 11:27Speaker 2: tax cut in history. One other thing, you know, you
- 11:30Speaker 2: hear about rich people with deductions, Well, when you buy
- 11:34Speaker 2: your car and you borrow money, you're allowed to now
- 11:36Speaker 2: deduct the interest on that loan.
- 11:39Speaker 3: So you can take that interest deduction.
- 11:41Speaker 2: And what you can take is that interest payment and
- 11:45Speaker 2: deduct it for income tax purposes. That's a tremendous tax
- 11:49Speaker 2: cut right there. But it all includes fixing the healthcare
- 11:53Speaker 2: system that Democrats broke with the disaster known as Obamacare.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Obamacare was a disaster from day one. It's done nothing
- 12:02Speaker 2: but go up. And if you remember President Barack Hussain
- 12:06Speaker 2: Obama when he came up with this crazy idea, he said,
- 12:11Speaker 2: everything's going to be great. Rates are going to go down,
- 12:14Speaker 2: payments are going to go down, everything's going to go down.
- 12:17Speaker 2: In what the exact opposite with the biggest increase of
- 12:20Speaker 2: any of healthcare in any country.
- 12:22Speaker 3: It's a disaster.
- 12:23Speaker 2: And I'm calling today for insurance companies not to be
- 12:28Speaker 2: paid but for the money, this massive amount of money
- 12:31Speaker 2: to be paid directly to the people of our country
- 12:34Speaker 2: so that they can buy their own health care, which
- 12:36Speaker 2: will be far better and far less expensive than the disaster.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Known as Obamacare.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And I've had I think great support, I've even had
- 12:45Speaker 2: Democrat support. So we want the money that would be
- 12:49Speaker 2: going to the insurance company, which is hundreds of billions
- 12:52Speaker 2: of dollars. You know, their stock prices have gone up
- 12:55Speaker 2: by one thousand percent in many cases a thousand percent
- 12:59Speaker 2: over short period of time because our country stupidly pays
- 13:03Speaker 2: them so much.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Money with this Obamacare scandal.
- 13:06Speaker 2: So I want the money to go directly to you,
- 13:09Speaker 2: the people, and you go out and you'll buy your
- 13:12Speaker 2: own health insurance and you'll negotiate different plans and you'll
- 13:15Speaker 2: get much better insurance, and you will be an entrepreneur
- 13:18Speaker 2: for yourself. So I'm always willing to work with anyone,
- 13:22Speaker 2: including the other party. We'll work on something having to
- 13:25Speaker 2: do with healthcare. We can do a lot better, we
- 13:28Speaker 2: can do great. So much money is involved, and we're
- 13:31Speaker 2: willing to pay so much money to the people.
- 13:34Speaker 3: So we're going to pay a lot of money to
- 13:35Speaker 3: the people. They're going to go out and buy their own.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Health care, and we're going to forget this Obamacare madness.
- 13:41Speaker 2: So with all of that, I just want to tell
- 13:44Speaker 2: you the country has never been in better shape. We
- 13:46Speaker 2: went through this short term disaster with the Democrats because
- 13:51Speaker 2: they thought it would be good politically, and it's an
- 13:54Speaker 2: honor out to sign this incredible bill and get our
- 13:58Speaker 2: country working again.
- 14:01Speaker 1: There's a couple different takeaways from what the President had
- 14:04Speaker 1: to say there in his remarks. Number one, when he said,
- 14:07Speaker 1: quote today, we're sending a clear message that we will
- 14:10Speaker 1: never give in to extortion, because that's what it is.
- 14:14Speaker 1: They tried to extort. The Democrats tried to extort our country.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Trump said the Democrats inflicted massive harm and keeping the
- 14:22Speaker 1: government closed since October the first. There's data that clearly
- 14:26Speaker 1: backs that up as well, and the President talking about
- 14:30Speaker 1: what the Democrats actually did. They caused harm, and that
- 14:35Speaker 1: harm included so many people that couldn't get around the
- 14:38Speaker 1: country to see family members who were sick, those who
- 14:42Speaker 1: were dying, those who had died. This was real and
- 14:47Speaker 1: it was personal, and that's part of the reason why
- 14:49Speaker 1: the President said it the way he did.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Makes the Democrats shut down as inflicted massive harm. They
- 14:57Speaker 2: caused twenty thousand flights to be Kidd delayed, They departed
- 15:02Speaker 2: so many times, so late, people were hurt so badly.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Nobody's ever seen anything like this one. This was a
- 15:10Speaker 2: no brainer. This was an easy extension. But they didn't
- 15:14Speaker 2: want to do it the easy way. They had to
- 15:15Speaker 2: do it the hard way. They looked very bad, the
- 15:17Speaker 2: Democrats do. They deprived more than one million government workers
- 15:22Speaker 2: from their paychecks and cut off food stamp benefits for
- 15:25Speaker 2: millions and millions more Americans than need. They caused tens
- 15:29Speaker 2: of thousands of federal contractors and small businesses to go unpaid.
- 15:33Speaker 2: And the total effect of the damage their antics cause
- 15:37Speaker 2: will take weeks and probably months to really calculate accurately,
- 15:42Speaker 2: including the serious harm that they did to our economy
- 15:45Speaker 2: and to people and the families. So I just want
- 15:48Speaker 2: to tell the American people, you should not forget this
- 15:51Speaker 2: when we come up to midterms and other things.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Don't forget what they've done to our country. You also
- 15:56Speaker 3: want to.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Don't forget what they've done to this country. Now, this
- 16:01Speaker 1: is the fight, and this is where it's going. I
- 16:04Speaker 1: think there's a very good chance that the government is
- 16:07Speaker 1: going to be shut down again. Democrats don't think that
- 16:11Speaker 1: this is a bad thing to hurt the American people.
- 16:15Speaker 1: But you also have to understand this is par for
- 16:17Speaker 1: the course with Democrats. Now, when I say that, what
- 16:19Speaker 1: I mean it's simply put this way. Whatever they have
- 16:24Speaker 1: to do to weaponize, they will do it. There is
- 16:29Speaker 1: nothing that the Democrats will not do to hurt Americans.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Another example of that is what they did with allowing
- 16:37Speaker 1: millions of illegal immigrants to come into this country, another
- 16:41Speaker 1: example of them putting illegal immigrants ahead of American citizens.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So the government has reopened and the big question now
- 16:51Speaker 1: is for how long. If the Democrats keep going the
- 16:55Speaker 1: way they are, there's a very good chance to end
- 16:57Speaker 1: up January the government will shut down on yet again.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Did you see that gold just hit an all time
- 17:04Speaker 1: new high of over four thousand dollars an ounce? And
- 17:09Speaker 1: if you hear that, you're like, are you kidding me?
- 17:11Speaker 1: And you're thinking, gosh, I missed my opportunity. Well, I
- 17:14Speaker 1: don't know if you missed your opportunity, But my friends
- 17:17Speaker 1: at Kurt Elliott Precious Medals they can answer that question
- 17:20Speaker 1: for you. You also may not be paying attention to
- 17:23Speaker 1: the incredible gains with silver that are happening right now
- 17:27Speaker 1: as well. And that's why I trust the guidance of
- 17:30Speaker 1: the team at kirk Elliott. In fact, I literally just
- 17:33Speaker 1: got a hundred ounce bar of silver the other day.
- 17:37Speaker 1: And the reason why is because after I talked to
- 17:39Speaker 1: the team at kirk Elliott Precious Medals, they let me
- 17:43Speaker 1: understand exactly where I could have a big upside in
- 17:46Speaker 1: investing in silver. Now, the other part that I love
- 17:49Speaker 1: about them is this they have transparent pricing. There are
- 17:53Speaker 1: a lot of gold companies that you'll hear about if
- 17:56Speaker 1: you listen to talk radio or podcasts or watch TV,
- 17:59Speaker 1: but they tell you how the pricing actually works well.
- 18:03Speaker 1: At kirk Elliott, they're real simple, just eight percent when
- 18:07Speaker 1: you buy and zero commissions when you sell, with no
- 18:11Speaker 1: hidden fees. Ever, that is the other reason why I
- 18:15Speaker 1: recommend them to all of you. They also don't sell
- 18:18Speaker 1: you quote rare coins or precious coins that you pay
- 18:21Speaker 1: insane markups on and then when you go to sell
- 18:24Speaker 1: them you find out they're really not worth that much.
- 18:27Speaker 1: They are a bullyon only approach. They focus on investment
- 18:31Speaker 1: grade metals, no overpriced collectibles, no gimmicks that means you
- 18:37Speaker 1: get more gold or silver for your money at fair value.
- 18:40Speaker 1: When it's time for you to sell. So if you're
- 18:44Speaker 1: ready to find out if gold and Silver is right
- 18:46Speaker 1: for you in your portfolio, then call them and get
- 18:50Speaker 1: a plan. You can visit them at ke PM dot com,
- 18:55Speaker 1: slash ben that's k e PM dot com. I'm slash
- 19:00Speaker 1: ben or seven to zero six oh five thirty nine
- 19:05Speaker 1: hundred at seven two zero six oh five thirty nine
- 19:10Speaker 1: hundred Kirk Elliott Precious Metals online at k e PM
- 19:15Speaker 1: dot com. I want to move to another story that's
- 19:19Speaker 1: really important and it deals with corruption. It is a
- 19:22Speaker 1: story that you've probably not heard a single word about
- 19:26Speaker 1: this why because it is to protect the leader of
- 19:30Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. There is a front runner for the
- 19:34Speaker 1: man or woman who will be the nominee for the
- 19:36Speaker 1: Democratic Party for president, and right now that is the
- 19:40Speaker 1: California Governor, Gavin Newsom. Well, there's a story that if
- 19:44Speaker 1: this was connected to someone like Donald Trump, the world
- 19:47Speaker 1: would be freaking out. The media would be covering at
- 19:50Speaker 1: twenty four to seven and they would say, where there's smoke,
- 19:54Speaker 1: there's fire. Let me tell you the story of the
- 19:57Speaker 1: former Gavin Newsom chief of staff now the chief of
- 20:02Speaker 1: staff in your administration. There's literally no one higher that
- 20:06Speaker 1: has more influence than the chief of staff. The chief
- 20:10Speaker 1: of staff has been arrested in charge is part of
- 20:13Speaker 1: a political corruption investigation. California Governor Knuwsoon's former chief of
- 20:20Speaker 1: staff was arrested in charge with having conspired to commit
- 20:25Speaker 1: bank and wire fraud, among other things, as part of
- 20:29Speaker 1: a political corruption investigation. In a press release from the
- 20:34Speaker 1: United States Office of the Eastern District of California, it
- 20:37Speaker 1: was revealed that a federal grand jury charged Dana Williamson,
- 20:42Speaker 1: fifty three with conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud,
- 20:46Speaker 1: bank fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States
- 20:51Speaker 1: and obstruct justice, subscribing to false tax returns, and making
- 20:56Speaker 1: false statements. Quote. This is a crucial step in an
- 21:00Speaker 1: ongoing political corruption investigation that began more than three years ago,
- 21:06Speaker 1: is what the US Attorney at grants in a statement.
- 21:08Speaker 1: As it always has, the US Attorney's Office will continue
- 21:11Speaker 1: to work tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to protect
- 21:15Speaker 1: the people of California from political corruption. Now part of
- 21:20Speaker 1: the press release, the political consultant Dana Williamson, fifty three,
- 21:25Speaker 1: of Carmichael, California, was charged by the federal grand jury
- 21:28Speaker 1: with conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, bank fraud,
- 21:32Speaker 1: wire conspiracy to fraud the United States and obstruct justice,
- 21:36Speaker 1: and then subscribing to his false tax returns making false statements.
- 21:40Speaker 1: The twenty three count indictment was unfiled following Williamson's arrest
- 21:44Speaker 1: in the morning. Court documents reportedly show that between February
- 21:49Speaker 1: of twenty twenty two and September of last year twenty
- 21:55Speaker 1: twenty four, the chief of staff for the Governor Newsome
- 22:01Speaker 1: conspired with others to divert approximately two hundred and twenty
- 22:06Speaker 1: five thousand in funds from a dormant political campaign to
- 22:11Speaker 1: an associate person use. According to the press release, Williamson
- 22:16Speaker 1: and other people also reportedly funneled the money through various
- 22:21Speaker 1: business entities and disguised it as a pay for what
- 22:26Speaker 1: was in reality a no show job. This again, according
- 22:30Speaker 1: to the press release, Williamson also allegedly conspired with a
- 22:35Speaker 1: business associates to create false backdated contracts after receiving a
- 22:40Speaker 1: civil subpoena in January of twenty twenty regarding paycheck protection
- 22:46Speaker 1: program known as PPP loans. This also coming from the
- 22:51Speaker 1: press release, and then the FBI said this quote. Today's
- 22:57Speaker 1: charges are the result of a three year relentless investigative
- 23:01Speaker 1: work in partnership with IRS Criminal Investigation and the US
- 23:06Speaker 1: Attorney's Office. This coming from the FBI Sacramento of Field office,
- 23:11Speaker 1: they said, quote. The FBI will remain vigilant in its
- 23:14Speaker 1: efforts to uncover fraud, corruption, and ensuring our government systems
- 23:20Speaker 1: are held to the highest standard. In a statement to
- 23:22Speaker 1: Fox News, a spokesman for the California governor clarified that Williamson,
- 23:27Speaker 1: who was Newsom's chief of staff literally until late last year,
- 23:33Speaker 1: was no longer serving under newsomb administration. Miss Williamson no
- 23:38Speaker 1: longer serves in the administration, the spokesman told the outlet,
- 23:42Speaker 1: While we are still learning details about the allegations, the
- 23:45Speaker 1: governor expects all public servants to uphold the highest standard
- 23:49Speaker 1: of integrity. Now, this just goes back to corruption. One
- 23:53Speaker 1: oh one. We see a lot of corruption the Democratic Party.
- 23:57Speaker 1: This time it's Gavin Newsom's long time time chief of staff.
- 24:01Speaker 1: And notice how if you're listening to this show right now,
- 24:05Speaker 1: this is probably the very first time that you've heard
- 24:13Speaker 1: about this story. If this was connected to any Republican governor,
- 24:19Speaker 1: especially in a swing state. The media would cover this
- 24:22Speaker 1: twenty four to seven, wall to wall, So why now
- 24:26Speaker 1: be silent. Well, they've got to protect Newsom. He's their guy.
- 24:31Speaker 1: They understand that he has the best chance of winning
- 24:34Speaker 1: the nomination, and so there's many around him that I'm
- 24:38Speaker 1: sure are saying, hey, we'll just look the other way.
- 24:42Speaker 1: But this goes back to the core of the Democratic Party.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Right now, the rules really never seem to apply to them.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You can look, for example, on college campuses at UC
- 24:53Speaker 1: Berkeley and the radicals that went after turning point conservative kids,
- 24:58Speaker 1: all caught on camera. You can move from there to
- 25:02Speaker 1: what we're witnessing all across the country and what we've
- 25:05Speaker 1: seen with anti semitism and Democrats taking over college campuses,
- 25:10Speaker 1: with radical activists, kids who are now turning into anarchists.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And this really all goes back to the issue of
- 25:18Speaker 1: following the money. Whether it was Occupy Wall Street, Black
- 25:22Speaker 1: Lives Matter, and you go on and on with Democrats
- 25:27Speaker 1: who are now going after college campuses and conservative organizations.
- 25:32Speaker 1: What Democrats are clearly trying to do right now is
- 25:36Speaker 1: make you feel unsafe. If you saw the videos coming
- 25:39Speaker 1: out of UC Berkeley, I can tell you if you
- 25:42Speaker 1: were there as a conservative, you would not have felt safe.
- 25:46Speaker 1: And that's exactly what democrats want by design. They want
- 25:50Speaker 1: you to be quiet. They want you to be silent.
- 25:54Speaker 1: They don't want you to stand up for what you
- 25:56Speaker 1: actually believe in, and so that is what this is
- 26:00Speaker 1: all about. Finally, let me say one other thing. Democrats
- 26:04Speaker 1: also are eating their own right now, and Representative Mikey Cheryl,
- 26:10Speaker 1: a Democrat from New Jersey and the New Jersey governor elect,
- 26:14Speaker 1: had this to say about the Democratic Party right now
- 26:18Speaker 1: and the government shut down.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Of the Garden State. Congratulations on your promotion, Congresswoman. We
- 26:26Speaker 4: should note, along with other notable Democrats, you won last
- 26:29Speaker 4: week after campaigning to a large degree on the issue
- 26:32Speaker 4: of affordability. Right now, Democrats are voting on a bill
- 26:37Speaker 4: that does not extend to Obamacare subsidies, so healthcare costs,
- 26:40Speaker 4: insurance costs are going to go up significantly for millions
- 26:43Speaker 4: of Americans on the Obamacare subsidies, on the Obamacare exchanges.
- 26:50Speaker 4: How do you square what Democrats like yourself ran on
- 26:52Speaker 4: what seems to be an important issue for Republicans to
- 26:55Speaker 4: wake up and pay attention to if they want to
- 26:57Speaker 4: keep their jobs next year. And what's playing out on
- 27:00Speaker 4: the floor of the House right now.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Well, I think you know I'm going to continue the fight.
- 27:05Speaker 5: To me, this is unacceptable. That people were pretty clear
- 27:09Speaker 5: when they spoke in New Jersey that they wanted somebody
- 27:12Speaker 5: to fight for them. And so I'm going to keep
- 27:14Speaker 5: fighting for affordability, to drive down costs. I will keep
- 27:17Speaker 5: fighting against all of the attacks coming from Washington. And
- 27:21Speaker 5: then you know, we are going to address the key
- 27:23Speaker 5: ways in which Trenton is not working for them either.
- 27:26Speaker 5: But this is a travesty right now to continue to
- 27:29Speaker 5: raise prices on people. This with this bill, we're going
- 27:31Speaker 5: to see prices in the affordable care market go up
- 27:34Speaker 5: by almost one hundred and seventy five percent. It's just
- 27:37Speaker 5: harming families across the nation and certainly in New Jersey.
- 27:41Speaker 1: You listen to what she had to say there, and
- 27:43Speaker 1: there's one big takeaway. She is in the party that
- 27:46Speaker 1: created the Affordable Care Act, which is no longer affordable.
- 27:51Speaker 1: In fact, many would argue it never was. It was
- 27:53Speaker 1: all smoking mirrors. And now your tax dours by the
- 27:58Speaker 1: billions are going to one place, the insurance companies that
- 28:03Speaker 1: are making record profits right now. And then there's another
- 28:08Speaker 1: president who's saying I don't want your money to go there.
- 28:11Speaker 1: My name is Donald Trump, and I wanted to go
- 28:14Speaker 1: directly to you. And that's where the fight is going.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Will the government be in charge of every aspect of
- 28:19Speaker 1: your life, that's what Democrats are advocating for. Or will
- 28:24Speaker 1: Donald Trump do what he says is right, give you
- 28:27Speaker 1: your money and your own options to do what's best
- 28:30Speaker 1: for you, your healthcare, and your families. That's what really
- 28:35Speaker 1: this is all about. Don't forget to share this podcast,
