- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now what it only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay, here we go today, folks.
- 2:14Speaker 1: This is a good one because today I want to
- 2:18Speaker 1: share with you something that affects every living soul, and
- 2:24Speaker 1: that one thing is your attitude. This affects everyone. It
- 2:31Speaker 1: is your attitude. You know. I don't know if anyone's
- 2:37Speaker 1: ever told you, but I mean many of you who
- 2:40Speaker 1: listen know this. But there are a lot of people
- 2:43Speaker 1: who don't understand a positive attitude can bring about a change.
- 2:51Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about a change. Well, now
- 2:55Speaker 1: here we go with the nay says, well, Steve, what
- 2:57Speaker 1: you mean if I'm just positive being changed My mom,
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm a gonna what me being positive got to do
- 3:02Speaker 1: with that? Okay, Now listen to me carefully. A positive
- 3:06Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve, I hear
- 3:11Speaker 1: you saying that, But they didn't fired me. So now
- 3:13Speaker 1: what does my having a positive attitude have to do
- 3:16Speaker 1: with the fact that they fired me? Well, one more time.
- 3:22Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about change. Or Steve, I
- 3:28Speaker 1: set up in here and gave eight nine, twelve years
- 3:32Speaker 1: of my life to this man and he just he
- 3:35Speaker 1: cheated on me and walked out. Now what does me
- 3:38Speaker 1: being positive have to do with him cheating on me?
- 3:41Speaker 1: How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we go again.
- 3:46Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about change. Now listen to
- 3:50Speaker 1: the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and the change
- 3:55Speaker 1: that can happen starts it. This is there, It starts
- 4:01Speaker 1: within you. See, life is ten percent. What happens is
- 4:08Speaker 1: what you do about what happens. Okay, you gave twelve
- 4:12Speaker 1: years of your life to this man. He cheated and
- 4:14Speaker 1: left you hold in the bag, the kids and everything.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Now what does being positive have to do with changing that?
- 4:21Speaker 1: Or they came in and they fired you. You lost
- 4:23Speaker 1: your job that you was a stellar performer at. But now,
- 4:27Speaker 1: how does you having a positive attitude? How does that
- 4:30Speaker 1: change things for you? So far? You can use any example.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Here's what happens when you have a positive attitude. What
- 4:40Speaker 1: it produces within you is a positive approach to life.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And when you have a positive attitude and a positive
- 4:48Speaker 1: approach to life, it causes you to be optimistic, to
- 4:54Speaker 1: have a positive out look, to expect things to event
- 5:00Speaker 1: turn around and and and and turn into a positive
- 5:03Speaker 1: That's very important because as the law of attraction comes
- 5:06Speaker 1: into play, if you think positive thoughts, you attract positive things.
- 5:14Speaker 1: If you think evil thoughts, you attract evil to you.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You know, if you want for nothing, then nothing comes
- 5:23Speaker 1: your way. If you want for a positive attitude, if
- 5:26Speaker 1: you want for positive results, if you want for a
- 5:28Speaker 1: great outcome, that's what you attract to you. The change
- 5:32Speaker 1: will begin within you. So let's take the man that
- 5:35Speaker 1: walked out your life and left you hold in the bag.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Here's a positive attitude. Okay, two things have happened as
- 5:43Speaker 1: positive here. Number one, you've ridd it yourself of someone
- 5:47Speaker 1: who is obviously going to be, if not already been,
- 5:51Speaker 1: toxic in your life, cause you many restless nights, a
- 5:55Speaker 1: lot of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness, not sure insecurity. You've
- 6:01Speaker 1: been going through it with this person, whoever they are.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Number One, that person has been released from your life.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Number Two, it allows you now to have the someone
- 6:12Speaker 1: who will treat you just the way you want to
- 6:14Speaker 1: be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's the optimistic way.
- 6:18Speaker 1: That's when you're a positive person. You see the positive
- 6:22Speaker 1: in things that happened to you, instead of burying yourself
- 6:25Speaker 1: under the what's wrong with it? A old woe is
- 6:28Speaker 1: me now? Concept? See a positive attitude. When they came
- 6:32Speaker 1: in there and they fired you and let you go.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Could this not have been just the opening you needed
- 6:39Speaker 1: to finally start on a new career path that you've
- 6:42Speaker 1: been talking about doing anyway? Could it possibly be a
- 6:46Speaker 1: brand new chance for you to get the dream job
- 6:50Speaker 1: or dream career of your choice. Could it not possibly
- 6:53Speaker 1: be the perfect opportunity now for you to finally finally
- 7:00Speaker 1: do something about that gift, about that talent that God
- 7:03Speaker 1: gave you, that thing that you love to do. Could
- 7:06Speaker 1: it not be the perfect time for you to pursue that?
- 7:08Speaker 1: But if you don't have a positive attitude. Then you
- 7:11Speaker 1: lay there. Oh they finn to come getting my house.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Oh what I'm gonna do now? All this unemployment ain't enough.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh Lord, when this unemployment run out, what am I
- 7:22Speaker 1: gonna do? Then I won't have nothing? And you old
- 7:25Speaker 1: woe is me? Until you become old woe is me.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But if you take it from the positive approach, some
- 7:33Speaker 1: amazing things can happen in your life. I will tell
- 7:36Speaker 1: you on a personal note, that's some of the most
- 7:39Speaker 1: some of the best changes, some of the biggest moments
- 7:43Speaker 1: in my life came after a loss. Some of the
- 7:46Speaker 1: best things that's ever happened to me, Some of the
- 7:48Speaker 1: biggest moments that I've accomplished in my entire career came
- 7:52Speaker 1: after a loss. So I don't want to go down
- 7:56Speaker 1: on the list, but boy, I could tell you. Let
- 7:57Speaker 1: me let me tell you something. When they didn't want
- 7:59Speaker 1: me on the radio anymore in La, when they didn't
- 8:03Speaker 1: when they were it was sick of the way I
- 8:04Speaker 1: did radio out there, and they wanted me gone. And
- 8:08Speaker 1: on May twenty third, two thousand and five, when my
- 8:13Speaker 1: did When? When? When? When my deal was done with
- 8:18Speaker 1: the beat out in La? Okay, Look what happened though, y'all.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I was gone in May. But in September nineteenth I
- 8:27Speaker 1: started to Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities. I'm
- 8:32Speaker 1: now sixty some cities, you see, But I didn't go old.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Woe was me? I said, Oh, okay, God must have
- 8:40Speaker 1: something else from it then, because if he didn't remove
- 8:43Speaker 1: me from this, that must be something else. Same thing
- 8:46Speaker 1: can happened when you lose and you and you and
- 8:48Speaker 1: you break up in a relationship. Same thing can happen
- 8:51Speaker 1: to you. You never know the one God God for
- 8:53Speaker 1: you that here you go, here you go again. Now
- 8:56Speaker 1: you get put into a situation with somebody treat you
- 8:58Speaker 1: just the way you want to be treated, provide you
- 9:01Speaker 1: the whole lot of aspects of your life. You knew
- 9:03Speaker 1: nothing about pride to that. But you gotta stay positive.
- 9:06Speaker 1: You gotta keep looking out, You gotta keep looking to God.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You gotta keep believing that there's got to be something
- 9:12Speaker 1: better for you. That God has a plan and it
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't coincide with your plan oftentimes, but His way is
- 9:19Speaker 1: the best way. Oh. I have not liked it many times. Man,
- 9:24Speaker 1: Oh man, I've had people scathed me. I'm talking about man,
- 9:27Speaker 1: people I ain't done nothing too. I don't even know
- 9:29Speaker 1: where it's coming from. Just go public and just try
- 9:32Speaker 1: to bury me. When they got through, man, I can't
- 9:36Speaker 1: tell you what happened to me because I ain't raised
- 9:39Speaker 1: my voice back. I didn't get into that negative lane
- 9:42Speaker 1: with them. I took the high road. And when you
- 9:44Speaker 1: take the high road, God got something for you. So
- 9:47Speaker 1: all of you out there are struggling, that's being hated on,
- 9:49Speaker 1: that you feel like your life then took some turns
- 9:52Speaker 1: that you have no control over. If you stay positive,
- 9:55Speaker 1: that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook, that that always thinking,
- 10:02Speaker 1: God got me, no matter what happened to me, some
- 10:04Speaker 1: amazing things that's going can will happen in your life.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's a fact. I don't know how it works that way.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I just know that's what it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So get off the old woe is mean negativity train
- 10:17Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna take you nowhere but down and
- 10:20Speaker 1: get get your outlook up. If you change your attitude,
- 10:23Speaker 1: you change your altitude. Altitude is determined by your attitude.
- 10:29Speaker 1: How high you go, how big you become, how far
- 10:32Speaker 1: you go. It all depends on how you think it
- 10:35Speaker 1: all depends on what type of attitude you got. It
- 10:39Speaker 1: ain't no, ain't no very very successful, super negative people.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It just doesn't coincide that way. If you see that
- 10:46Speaker 1: something happened to them along the way, and don't weary.
- 10:48Speaker 1: You ain't gonna wear about it because you ain't gonna
- 10:50Speaker 1: see them long because you can't stay up there like that.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It's just too hard. All right, that's the conversation you're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your undivided attention. Please.
- 11:05Speaker 1: This is Steve Harvey Morning Show. Do you understand what
- 11:07Speaker 1: I'm saying. This is Steve Harvey Morning Show. And it's morning.

- 11:51Speaker 1: The food huh right here, I'm here, I'm here. I
- 12:00Speaker 1: thought he had choked on food. It is. I thought
- 12:03Speaker 1: something happened. Yeah, I'm right here. It was something like that,
- 12:06Speaker 1: but you know, not quite well, how's everybody doing? Good? Good? Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: happy hump day. Yeah. This intermittent fasting that I'm doing,
- 12:20Speaker 1: how do you do? I'm doing too much right now,
- 12:23Speaker 1: intermitting fast and vegan. It's just what is wrong with you? Yeah?
- 12:28Speaker 1: Pick one man, because I'm telling you all this don't
- 12:31Speaker 1: go together. Okay, So what are you doing? What is
- 12:35Speaker 1: it that you're doing? We're intermittent fasting. My last meal
- 12:39Speaker 1: is by eight o'clock at night, and then my next
- 12:43Speaker 1: meal that next time I eat is twelve new so
- 12:46Speaker 1: today you won't eat, so nothing for breakfast right now?
- 12:50Speaker 1: So the last meal you had was last night at
- 12:52Speaker 1: eight pm? Uh huh, okay, thank you. And as I'm
- 12:57Speaker 1: sitting here, you know I can have like black coffee
- 13:00Speaker 1: with MCT oil MCT oil or whatever what's that like,
- 13:06Speaker 1: like from coconut and my girlfriend uses that she's on
- 13:09Speaker 1: a keto diets that you know, it gives you energy.
- 13:14Speaker 1: So at twelve o'clock though, you have a nice meal
- 13:16Speaker 1: to look forward to. It's what you're saying. So what
- 13:19Speaker 1: will you eat at twelve? I know it'd be vegan.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I don't know, man, you know, I'm I tell you
- 13:26Speaker 1: one thing. My energy level has skyrocketing. I used to
- 13:31Speaker 1: take way too many five hour energies, sometimes too a day.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Oh okay, but every day after lunch, I take a
- 13:38Speaker 1: five hour energy to get me through my next two shows.
- 13:42Speaker 1: And uh my doctor said, you know, but you know,
- 13:45Speaker 1: of course, ain't nothing good for you and you listened
- 13:47Speaker 1: to them. Damn doctor, I got a story for you
- 13:50Speaker 1: coming up, Steve. Oh yeah something, and so you know,
- 13:54Speaker 1: I just decided and being this vegans is helping my
- 13:58Speaker 1: energy and hopefully, you know, we'll see how to weight loss. Cool.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm in the gym lifting though, so right now it's
- 14:04Speaker 1: just what they call it, all all redistributing the weight
- 14:09Speaker 1: right now, Oh okay. In the meantime, drink up your
- 14:13Speaker 1: black coffee with the mc MCT. You put it in,
- 14:19Speaker 1: you whip it in, you whip, put it in a
- 14:21Speaker 1: blender and whip it. Ok it's nice. Coming up at
- 14:26Speaker 1: thirty two after the hour are Steve, and men who
- 14:30Speaker 1: can do forty push ups far less likely to develop
- 14:33Speaker 1: heart disease. So we'll talk about Yeah, we'll talk about
- 14:36Speaker 1: health and movement. I was where I'll tell you story,
- 14:40Speaker 1: all right, We'll be back at thirty two after right
- 14:42Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show, all right, Steve, So
- 14:48Speaker 1: here's the story. Check this out. Men who can do
- 14:51Speaker 1: forty push ups are far less likely to develop heart disease. Okay,
- 14:56Speaker 1: it turns out that that's forty push ups a day,
- 14:59Speaker 1: not forty shops. You know, a lifetime total of forty
- 15:02Speaker 1: push up let's be clear a day. Yeah, forty a
- 15:06Speaker 1: day for I don't think that's so bad though. Forty
- 15:11Speaker 1: push ups a day. Yeah, but that ain't bad, No,
- 15:14Speaker 1: not at all. So nearly half of you. I thought
- 15:16Speaker 1: they meant forty at one time because my bady jumped
- 15:20Speaker 1: in the floor because I heard that the other day
- 15:22Speaker 1: and my buddy jumped in the floor and found out
- 15:24Speaker 1: he was gonna have a heart attack and trying to
- 15:27Speaker 1: do about Yeah, how about twenty in the morning and
- 15:29Speaker 1: twenty at night. That's easy? Yeah for that season. Okay,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I could lead push you up, yere Jason, Okay, well cool.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Then I'm at one hundred a day, big dog. I
- 15:39Speaker 1: just thought, but I just thought, in a high night,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I can do it. It took me a day to
- 15:44Speaker 1: get that hunted in. Oh yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 1: but not at once. I could do four twenty five
- 15:50Speaker 1: clips what's that like? Twenty five at each four different
- 15:56Speaker 1: ways to be realistically, I can do about thirty push ups,
- 16:03Speaker 1: like right now, non stop, We'll go ahead, Yeah, let's
- 16:07Speaker 1: drop and give me. Yeah he got strong up about it,
- 16:11Speaker 1: Yeah he does. You're right, he got strong. I can
- 16:13Speaker 1: get that here. You know I'm not right around eighteen though, yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 1: right around eighteen I crump. Yeah. Yeah, you start thinking
- 16:21Speaker 1: different than eighteen eight just different things about your life stuff.
- 16:28Speaker 1: You know, should I have finished school? You go that
- 16:32Speaker 1: deep with it? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I have flashbacks when
- 16:36Speaker 1: you know how you know how machines say if you
- 16:39Speaker 1: feel faint or dizzey stop Immediately my mind started playing
- 16:44Speaker 1: tricks on me. I stopped. Remember the time I was
- 16:47Speaker 1: drowning it? Your life flashing before? Yeah, all stuff like that.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I remember that time laying in the street, had got
- 16:54Speaker 1: hit by that car. You know, how were you then
- 16:58Speaker 1: about fifteen when I got you about it? So when
- 17:00Speaker 1: you do twenty push ups, your mind takes you back
- 17:03Speaker 1: to when you were yeah yeah yeah, and then when
- 17:05Speaker 1: then you get your twenty five You know, I saw
- 17:08Speaker 1: my daddy beating me down in the basement by their furnace,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and I took off running and tried to run through
- 17:14Speaker 1: the furnace. It'd be a lot of stuff happening, man,
- 17:20Speaker 1: it'd be on your mind to be stuff. Well, whatever
- 17:23Speaker 1: your nephew said he can do a buck twenty five
- 17:25Speaker 1: a day, I mean, yeah, well he's throughout the whole
- 17:31Speaker 1: day night. That take a long time. But how many
- 17:33Speaker 1: what's the match you can do at one time? About
- 17:37Speaker 1: twenty five? Me realistic when you're twenty five thirty twenty
- 17:40Speaker 1: five four times a day. But your your arms in
- 17:45Speaker 1: your tries and well, see my push up is different.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I can't put my chee and chests on the floor
- 17:54Speaker 1: because of the length of my arms. And Lee Haney
- 17:56Speaker 1: told me that. He said, Steve, your arms are so long.
- 17:59Speaker 1: He said, for you to go all the way down
- 18:02Speaker 1: chest to the floor like military people put you in
- 18:06Speaker 1: on the floor. He said, you're pushing your sockets too
- 18:09Speaker 1: far forward. He said, it's not good for you. He said,
- 18:13Speaker 1: just do to push up to your arms is in
- 18:15Speaker 1: the ale shape. Once you get him in that perpendicular
- 18:18Speaker 1: ale shape, he said, you can going back up. Your
- 18:21Speaker 1: arms are too long for that, he said, a little
- 18:23Speaker 1: shorter armed people can do that. What are you saying
- 18:26Speaker 1: about you. That's what he's saying right there at the floor.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That what he's saying. Oh I'm doing Oh no, his
- 18:36Speaker 1: is good mine mine boy, look as deep. My push
- 18:39Speaker 1: up wouldn't look as deep as timing. It's what I'm saying.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Time to go all way to the fo I go
- 18:45Speaker 1: to the floor. I'm gonna do six of these things
- 18:48Speaker 1: and need the operation. Okay, okay, all right. How many
- 18:53Speaker 1: crunches can you do? Though? Can do a lot of crunches,
- 18:56Speaker 1: but I hain't done nothing. I don't know when core
- 19:00Speaker 1: pretty good though, you know what this takes me. I
- 19:02Speaker 1: do planks and leg limps and stuff like that instead
- 19:05Speaker 1: of doing crunches. You know, Ben, in trying to stress
- 19:08Speaker 1: you lower back out. I found a lot of alternative
- 19:12Speaker 1: ways to do exercises that I've gotten older, that don't
- 19:15Speaker 1: that don't tear your body up. Like for me, lunges
- 19:18Speaker 1: make no sense. Oh I hate. Reverse lunges are a
- 19:22Speaker 1: lot better for me than straightforward lunges. I built reverse lunge.
- 19:31Speaker 1: This reminds me, though, when you guys were talking about
- 19:34Speaker 1: sit ups and everything about remember Carlo the shirts offt tour. Oh,
- 19:39Speaker 1: I know that was so I was so to eat
- 19:42Speaker 1: for a month. Yeah. Yeah. And for those of you
- 19:45Speaker 1: don't know, yeah, y'all were trying. Yeah. Last time, Steve
- 19:49Speaker 1: issued a challenge to the to all the guys that
- 19:52Speaker 1: work on the show, you know, be they off the show,
- 19:55Speaker 1: behind the scenes or whatever. You are getting shaped by
- 19:58Speaker 1: a certain time and you you were doing a calendar
- 20:01Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, the pictures are still down there. Pictures
- 20:04Speaker 1: are still there. Yeah, And that was really cool though,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you guys, you guys looked great and you worked really hard.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Remember Tom, huh what I do? Come on? Took that
- 20:17Speaker 1: picture with that towel over. He was playing a simply
- 20:22Speaker 1: beautiful legal background. I should go if you don't. What
- 20:29Speaker 1: about Boom though, Boom took some sexy pictures. Boom climbed
- 20:35Speaker 1: up on that line at my house, and boy, women
- 20:38Speaker 1: was righting in. I won't him. I won't him. Oh
- 20:45Speaker 1: I want I want that big man up on that line.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Come on over here. I got a line for you.
- 20:53Speaker 1: That was fun. That was a lot of fun. I
- 20:55Speaker 1: was really proud of you guys. We were proud of
- 20:58Speaker 1: you guys. Yeah, we've been back there. Yeah, okay, I
- 21:03Speaker 1: made you want to get in shape, though, Steve, what
- 21:06Speaker 1: I thought I was gonna die. We are. Anytime I
- 21:11Speaker 1: feel like I might die, your bubble, I get you
- 21:15Speaker 1: into jail right away to try to divert it. Huh. No,
- 21:19Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. You know, I don't know
- 21:21Speaker 1: what was happening right there. Like I've been doing this
- 21:24Speaker 1: vegan thing pretty strong. Yeah, you know, I fell off
- 21:28Speaker 1: on my birthday. I heard sushi on my thing. But
- 21:30Speaker 1: you're always on approach of something, Steve. So I have
- 21:33Speaker 1: to be on something, man, because I like challenging myself. Yeah,
- 21:37Speaker 1: and motivated motivation. Yeah, Well, that push up study was
- 21:41Speaker 1: done by the American Heart Association, so um, coming up
- 21:46Speaker 1: it is the nephew would run that prank back on
- 21:49Speaker 1: hundred push up self a day you're listening to coming
- 21:56Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. And the entertainment
- 21:59Speaker 1: news legend very fashion designer. Oh my goodness, Karl Lagerfeld
- 22:03Speaker 1: has passed away. And the first thing my wife said
- 22:07Speaker 1: to me yesterday morning was that, well, as I was saying,
- 22:11Speaker 1: he passed away. Today, we'll talk about that. And Chloe
- 22:13Speaker 1: Kardashian is done, they've broken up. She and Tristan Thompson
- 22:18Speaker 1: are done, and we'll talk about that. Yeah, that's also
- 22:22Speaker 1: sad news. You know. I hate to see people break
- 22:24Speaker 1: up like that. But right now it is the nephew
- 22:26Speaker 1: in the building with run that prank back? What you got,
- 22:29Speaker 1: Neff small Favor? Need a small favor? Not asking too much, Rennie,
- 22:35Speaker 1: Rennie small Favor. Hello, I'm trying to reach Vicky. This
- 22:40Speaker 1: is Vicky. Hey, Vicky, how are you doing? Are you
- 22:43Speaker 1: the are you the niece of uh? I think it's
- 22:49Speaker 1: ain't ain't your aunt? Yes? Okay? And you you're no,
- 22:55Speaker 1: you aren't passed away? I mean I mean years ago
- 22:57Speaker 1: you are passed. It was about five years. Okay, listen,
- 23:02Speaker 1: I don't know. We're here at the funeral home. Uh my,
- 23:05Speaker 1: my my sister just passed away, and they gave me
- 23:10Speaker 1: your phone number. Did you guys? We're going through a
- 23:13Speaker 1: little bit of a situation here, did you guys? Aren't
- 23:17Speaker 1: you know your aunt was a heavy set woman? Is
- 23:19Speaker 1: that right? Yes? She was? Okay, Now they had to
- 23:23Speaker 1: did they have to put her in a in a
- 23:25Speaker 1: Did they have a bill of a special casket for her? Yeah? Okay,
- 23:29Speaker 1: that's what we're kind of going through with my sister.
- 23:32Speaker 1: We ordered a special casket for for for my sister,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and I'm assuming this is the same thing that you
- 23:40Speaker 1: guys went through. I called several of her children, but
- 23:44Speaker 1: I wasn't able to get in touch with anybody. But
- 23:45Speaker 1: the funeral home actually had your name on file as well,
- 23:49Speaker 1: so they gave me your number where I would be
- 23:51Speaker 1: able to talk to you. Is that is that okay? Yeah,
- 23:54Speaker 1: that's okay, you can speak to me, but you know,
- 23:57Speaker 1: let's things leave a problem. Well, listen, we the funeral
- 24:01Speaker 1: is actually in two days and we ordered one of
- 24:05Speaker 1: those special caskets, but it doesn't look like it's gonna
- 24:08Speaker 1: be in for another week. So you know, it's almost
- 24:12Speaker 1: like we're gonna we're gonna we're not gonna have a
- 24:14Speaker 1: casket for her, um, you know, for the funeral. And
- 24:18Speaker 1: you know, like I said, the funeral home told us
- 24:20Speaker 1: about you know that you guys were the last ones
- 24:23Speaker 1: that ordered a casket of that size, and you know,
- 24:26Speaker 1: me and the rest of the family has been you know,
- 24:28Speaker 1: we've been trying to figure out what to do and
- 24:30Speaker 1: what to do. Do you think it's any way possible
- 24:34Speaker 1: we can borrow the casket that your ain't is in
- 24:39Speaker 1: and then when the casket comes in, and we ordered
- 24:42Speaker 1: we can put her in that casket and put her
- 24:46Speaker 1: back down to rest like she's always been. Do you
- 24:48Speaker 1: think that's excuse me? Hello, hello, you think repeat yourself?
- 24:56Speaker 1: What exactly are you asking me? Well, what I'm saying is,
- 24:59Speaker 1: do you think we can bar your ain't casket because
- 25:03Speaker 1: you know, the fuels in two days and the casket
- 25:06Speaker 1: is not gonna be in in order for us to
- 25:08Speaker 1: be able to bury her in a in a casket
- 25:10Speaker 1: for you know, to accommodate her size. That's what I'm asking.
- 25:15Speaker 1: What kind of this you're talking about? First of all,
- 25:18Speaker 1: who is this? Okay, No, my name is Larry. Like
- 25:21Speaker 1: I said, I tried to call some of her kids,
- 25:23Speaker 1: but nobody ever picked up when I called her niece's
- 25:28Speaker 1: number on file too. You you are her niece, Vicky, right,
- 25:32Speaker 1: Yes I am. Okay, That's what I'm saying. Do you
- 25:35Speaker 1: think that maybe you can talk to the children and
- 25:38Speaker 1: see if we can maybe use that particular casket? Okay,
- 25:42Speaker 1: wait a minute, what the talking about this? The First
- 25:46Speaker 1: of all, who who is this? You? You gotta be
- 25:48Speaker 1: losing your mind if you think I'm gonna let you
- 25:51Speaker 1: dig up my any so just to bury yourself. But
- 25:54Speaker 1: I understand where you come from. But what I'm trying
- 25:56Speaker 1: to say is that we don't have a casket big enough.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And they were they they let us know that you
- 26:01Speaker 1: guys were the last ones that had a casket that
- 26:04Speaker 1: you know I'm gonna do with us. That'sh you don't
- 26:07Speaker 1: trust to figure out? Have you show? No? No? Well, okay,
- 26:12Speaker 1: first of all, what I'm trying to do is this
- 26:14Speaker 1: the family been grieving pretty hard and I just wanted
- 26:17Speaker 1: to make sure that the funeral will be right. And
- 26:19Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be right and we don't have that.
- 26:21Speaker 1: We don't bring my family gonna feel dig in my ampho.
- 26:25Speaker 1: They don't call me because who is the funeral home
- 26:30Speaker 1: that gave you my number to ask me to use
- 26:33Speaker 1: the casket so you can bury your sister. Who is
- 26:36Speaker 1: the name of that person? I can't remember, but it
- 26:38Speaker 1: was it was it was the guy the funeral director
- 26:40Speaker 1: let me know that you guys had went through a
- 26:43Speaker 1: situation where you had to bury your your your your aunt.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Like I said, I tried to call what's your name again?
- 26:49Speaker 1: My name is Larry, Okay, Larry, this is this is
- 26:53Speaker 1: I don't know what give you my phone number to
- 26:56Speaker 1: call me asking you just don't. Can't you believe they
- 26:59Speaker 1: call yea asking me so can dig up so they
- 27:03Speaker 1: can bear it? They's some don't have a cassie Hello? No, No,
- 27:08Speaker 1: what kind of id that's your fault? No, I understand
- 27:11Speaker 1: it's not your fault. What I'm trying to say is
- 27:14Speaker 1: what y'all show some sympathy and some love for what
- 27:16Speaker 1: me and my family going through because we don't have
- 27:19Speaker 1: a casket. Like I say, my tuster myster was was
- 27:22Speaker 1: you know, was it if the heavenst was a heavens good?
- 27:25Speaker 1: You know? My condoleses go out to you and your family.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You know I'm trying to be as reserved as I
- 27:31Speaker 1: can with this whole situation. But do you understand what
- 27:34Speaker 1: kind of stupid you're asking me right now to actually
- 27:37Speaker 1: dig up my art? Whose armed? Who's been and what out?
- 27:40Speaker 1: For fun years? Because bury your sister? Let me let
- 27:46Speaker 1: me answer this row if this if we you you
- 27:51Speaker 1: ain't ain't gonna know, she ain't gonna know where you
- 27:54Speaker 1: what that's for you to say to me? But you're stupid.
- 28:00Speaker 1: You're talking on you smoking crack? What don't know? I
- 28:04Speaker 1: don't know more. First, of all, you know what I
- 28:07Speaker 1: First of all, I appreciate you trying to work with me,
- 28:09Speaker 1: but I want to say this. You don't even have
- 28:11Speaker 1: the authority to make that decision because I was really
- 28:16Speaker 1: trying to be nice and be calm. But guess what,
- 28:18Speaker 1: we're not doing this stupid. I'm trying to be nice
- 28:21Speaker 1: to you and tell and trying to help you out,
- 28:23Speaker 1: but no, you want me to get ignorant and ask
- 28:25Speaker 1: stupid with you. I was trying to be nice and sympathetic,
- 28:28Speaker 1: but we're not doing it. I'm not giving you the nuther.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I got the authority to tell you right now. No,
- 28:35Speaker 1: we're not digging up so you can bury your flu stuff? Fair, Okay,
- 28:39Speaker 1: so so so so so that's just it. I can't
- 28:42Speaker 1: talk to now. That's it. Now. You weren't talking to know,
- 28:44Speaker 1: but you're talking to me. Okay, I got, I got,
- 28:46Speaker 1: I got something else I need to tell you though,
- 28:48Speaker 1: I need, I need to tell you something else or

- 30:06Speaker 1: the top of the hour, entertainment news right after this,
- 30:10Speaker 1: you're listening to show some sad news, guys. Legendary fashion
- 30:17Speaker 1: designer Carl Lagerfeld has passed away. He was eighty five
- 30:21Speaker 1: years old. The German designer who lived in Paris, died
- 30:24Speaker 1: earlier today. Um yesterday after missing a number of fashion
- 30:29Speaker 1: shows while being ill in recent weeks. Karl Lagerfeld became
- 30:33Speaker 1: a design assistant as a teenager and began his long
- 30:36Speaker 1: career with Chanel back in nineteen eighty three. He's credited
- 30:40Speaker 1: with adding glitz to the design houses style. He was
- 30:43Speaker 1: a creative director for Chanelle and Fendy up until his death.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Lagerfeld released collections for Fendi and his label. And you
- 30:53Speaker 1: know what he did from me? What he made me
- 30:56Speaker 1: smell good throughout the whole eighties. You hear me that
- 31:00Speaker 1: lager Fail cologne was doing the same thing through the
- 31:03Speaker 1: whole eighty Yeah, I did, I did. I thought that
- 31:07Speaker 1: lack of fair we ain't gonna be like. I had
- 31:09Speaker 1: some more, but that lager Fair was sickning. That was
- 31:11Speaker 1: your man. Did you get a lot of girls? What
- 31:16Speaker 1: you know, man, shag with a dunk tail in the back?
- 31:19Speaker 1: What I do? What come? Boy? Shag with a dunk tail? What? Man?
- 31:29Speaker 1: We should call them q locks locks? Q Yeah, when
- 31:34Speaker 1: you had that little flip on the back, we called
- 31:36Speaker 1: them q locks. I used to cut them for the
- 31:38Speaker 1: brothers in college. You had a shag with the wold
- 31:44Speaker 1: Tell me that girl love to see that. Let me
- 31:46Speaker 1: get that part on the side. What you're talking about.
- 31:50Speaker 1: My mama said, its way too much going on. Yeah,
- 31:53Speaker 1: one of them. You know something, man, I'm like, I
- 31:56Speaker 1: have the best colognes now coming up. No, dog, you
- 32:01Speaker 1: couldn't tell me nothing about polo. Yeah that was your fragrance. Yeah, yes,
- 32:12Speaker 1: everybody had this man polo. And you know ladies love
- 32:18Speaker 1: a good smelling man. Everybody, you know you had the
- 32:23Speaker 1: polo too long when the goal is starting to flake
- 32:26Speaker 1: off the top and the and the man on the
- 32:29Speaker 1: horse has faded away, like man, here, when you know
- 32:32Speaker 1: you got on too much of it, when the girl
- 32:34Speaker 1: say you need to wash some of that off. Yeah, man,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I had so much polo on that dispatch one night. Yeah,
- 32:46Speaker 1: I have a little cheap ass suit on. I was
- 32:48Speaker 1: standing at the edge of the bardness in this drink
- 32:51Speaker 1: that wouldn't have no alcohol in it. I was standing there, man,
- 32:55Speaker 1: I had so much polo on me it was burning
- 32:57Speaker 1: in my eye? Did you leave any in the bottle
- 33:04Speaker 1: that I had three hand fools on me. I added
- 33:09Speaker 1: it all in my suit jacket because you know, I
- 33:12Speaker 1: knew they was in the club with too much going on,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and that I ain't I want in mind the last
- 33:17Speaker 1: whoa I was? Didn't you put on? I mean no,
- 33:26Speaker 1: see you you bousted in the bottle. You bousted in
- 33:28Speaker 1: your hand about light that made it last longer? Yeah, man, okay,
- 33:34Speaker 1: three hand fool well and all on the back of
- 33:38Speaker 1: my neck and my ill. You didn't take anyone home
- 33:42Speaker 1: that night? O hand. No, surely it wasn't that good
- 33:46Speaker 1: back then, take the money'd be lucky to get it
- 33:49Speaker 1: in getting take nobody home like first night hard back then? Yeah, yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 1: the least house. I'm kind of games. You've got, Dakota,
- 34:02Speaker 1: you got the code? Excuse me? All right, look, thank
- 34:08Speaker 1: god saved by the bell. It's time for a headliner
- 34:15Speaker 1: this and really thank you very much everybody. This is
- 34:19Speaker 1: Atropathan News. While a new round of US Chinese trades
- 34:22Speaker 1: talks schedule to begin later on today in Washington, d C.
- 34:25Speaker 1: The aim of the negotiators for both sides actually is
- 34:28Speaker 1: to avert threatened higher tariffs, because without an agreement, tariffs
- 34:31Speaker 1: are going to be levied on some two hundred billion
- 34:34Speaker 1: dollars in Chinese foods next month, and Beijing is expected
- 34:37Speaker 1: to make some retaliatory moves against US products, the ones
- 34:40Speaker 1: that they buy as well. President Trump, meanwhile, has been
- 34:43Speaker 1: sending out a message to the Venezuelan army that a
- 34:46Speaker 1: new president named Juan Guido has been elected, that the
- 34:49Speaker 1: world is supporting this guy, and that if they continue
- 34:52Speaker 1: backing Nicholas Maduro, they're going to be backing the wrong
- 34:55Speaker 1: horse as well as the wrong kind of government. To
- 34:57Speaker 1: those who would try to impose socialism on the United States,
- 35:03Speaker 1: we again deliver a very simple message, America will never
- 35:08Speaker 1: be a socialist. Trump was speaking before several hundred members
- 35:13Speaker 1: of Florida's expatriate Venezuelan community. That's the largest Venezuelan community
- 35:17Speaker 1: apparently in this country. As you probably know, Bernie Sanders
- 35:21Speaker 1: is back in the race for the White House. He
- 35:23Speaker 1: launched his new campaign this week, promising to quote finish
- 35:25Speaker 1: the revolution that he says he began during his failed
- 35:28Speaker 1: campaign against philby Clinton. Sanders says that at age seventy seven,
- 35:32Speaker 1: he's healthy, that he has the energy to run for
- 35:34Speaker 1: and serve as commander in chief. Although Sanders attracted a
- 35:37Speaker 1: lot of young voters last time you remember, the Democratic
- 35:40Speaker 1: Socialists failed to connect with many older black voters who
- 35:43Speaker 1: felt he never made a sincere effort to appeal to them.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Most of his workers were young whites. And there are
- 35:48Speaker 1: also Democrats who feel that Sanders held on to his
- 35:51Speaker 1: supporters too long, leaving his people disheartened and less likely
- 35:55Speaker 1: to vote, and therefore paving the way for Donald Trump's victory.
- 35:58Speaker 1: And some of those folks they don't forgive him for
- 36:00Speaker 1: a man I considered the silent sam of the Supreme
- 36:02Speaker 1: Court Clowns. Thomas spoke out this week against a case
- 36:05Speaker 1: he feels as wrongly decided. Justice Thomas says that the
- 36:09Speaker 1: case of New York Times versus Sullivan was wrongly adjudicated.
- 36:13Speaker 1: In a fourteen page tridis the God the Black Justice,
- 36:16Speaker 1: it writes that the case does not line up, he
- 36:18Speaker 1: says with the original meaning of the Constitution and that
- 36:21Speaker 1: it should be over roo old souls to make it easier,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and he wants to make it easier for public figures
- 36:26Speaker 1: to sue media entities for libel or individuals for defamation.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Sad news from the World of Fashion the House of
- 36:34Speaker 1: Channel's creative Grade Vector as you heard, Carl Lagerfeld has
- 36:37Speaker 1: died at age eighty five. Lagerfeld, easily recognized by his
- 36:40Speaker 1: white ponytail and black sunglasses. He was a leading designer
- 36:44Speaker 1: for the French fashion house for at least the last
- 36:46Speaker 1: thirty years, putting it on the map and changing it
- 36:49Speaker 1: and revamping its styles and finally today as National Love
- 36:52Speaker 1: your Pet Day. Well, not everybody has dogs and cats.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Some people have Okay, now back to Steve Harvey morning chair.
- 37:05Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, we gotta ask this question. I mean,
- 37:12Speaker 1: we asked it all last week and the week before
- 37:14Speaker 1: that and the week before that. But here we go again. Now. Uh,
- 37:19Speaker 1: you know the brand Burbery, Uh, it's apologizing for showcasing
- 37:24Speaker 1: a hoodie that featured a noose around the neck during
- 37:28Speaker 1: its show at London Fashion Week. Industry, I don't know. Yeah,
- 37:35Speaker 1: it's ridiculous now, I mean, but you know, Burberry, though,
- 37:41Speaker 1: they issued a statement that that those are not the
- 37:45Speaker 1: people that they make our clothes for. Remember when they
- 37:48Speaker 1: made that, Oh yeah, you mean a while ago. You know,
- 37:50Speaker 1: some rappers was talking about it and they said, those
- 37:52Speaker 1: are not the people we make our clothes for. I've
- 37:55Speaker 1: never won Burberry ever, and because of stuff like never
- 38:00Speaker 1: they say, we are deeply sorry for the distress calls
- 38:03Speaker 1: to buy one of the products that featured in our
- 38:06Speaker 1: Autumn Winter twenty nineteen runway collection. But you know, for
- 38:11Speaker 1: it to come out now, you've really after all this
- 38:15Speaker 1: has been happening with Gucci in all of these other
- 38:19Speaker 1: for you to run down a runway now with that, Yeah,
- 38:22Speaker 1: this just happened. So what's what's wrong with you? Yeah? Yeah,
- 38:26Speaker 1: because you're saying autumn winter so this is in the
- 38:28Speaker 1: future right where that you're designing for later in the year. Yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 1: burb you're saying, Steve right to come out with that, right.
- 38:37Speaker 1: The chief executive officer for Burbery said that though the
- 38:40Speaker 1: design was inspired by the marine theme that ran throughout
- 38:44Speaker 1: the collection, it was insensitive and we made a mistake
- 38:49Speaker 1: the design, of course. Yeah. The design was was criticized
- 38:53Speaker 1: by model Liz Kennedy, who was featured in the show,
- 38:56Speaker 1: but claimed her concerns about the use of a news
- 38:58Speaker 1: were dismissed. Suicide is not fashion, she wrote on Instagram.
- 39:04Speaker 1: It is beyond me how you can let a look
- 39:06Speaker 1: resembling a noose hanging from a neck out on a runway. Also,
- 39:10Speaker 1: various mental health organizations were critical of the fashion concept
- 39:14Speaker 1: as well. Well. When black people look at it, we
- 39:17Speaker 1: see something different. Racism. Yeah, I mean, you know, okay,
- 39:22Speaker 1: first of all, who is Lias Kennedy. She's a model
- 39:27Speaker 1: in the show, in the actual show, hite. Now if
- 39:32Speaker 1: she knows that, if this white woman can stand up
- 39:36Speaker 1: and go, wait a minute, what are we doing here?
- 39:39Speaker 1: A noose around a person's neck going down a runway?
- 39:44Speaker 1: Are y'all kidding me? But nobody else see it? But
- 39:47Speaker 1: this woman that should have everybody's ears should have been
- 39:50Speaker 1: pent back when Liz Kennedy said that, I mean, that's crazy, man,
- 39:56Speaker 1: especially with Steve she said that, okay, show, Okay, Now,
- 40:06Speaker 1: Barberry won't lose a dollar with me. They don't have
- 40:09Speaker 1: to worry. They don't. They won't lose a dollar with
- 40:11Speaker 1: me because I ain't never bought a knight of yet.
- 40:13Speaker 1: So you know, once they say it that years ago,
- 40:15Speaker 1: I was still coming up. In the thirty four, After
- 40:18Speaker 1: the Hour reports that Jesse Smallllett's role as Jamal Lyon
- 40:22Speaker 1: has been cut down on Empire. We'll talk about that
- 40:24Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right, more
- 40:31Speaker 1: on the Jesse Smallett case. Um, his Empire screen time
- 40:36Speaker 1: is getting cut in the wake of this growing sentiment
- 40:38Speaker 1: that he staged the Silk Call attack. Now keep in
- 40:41Speaker 1: mind that police are still doing their investigation. This is
- 40:45Speaker 1: according to TMZ, Jesse was supposed to have nine scenes
- 40:48Speaker 1: and a big musical number in the second to the
- 40:50Speaker 1: last episode, which is being shot now, but five of
- 40:54Speaker 1: his scenes have been cut and his musical number has
- 40:57Speaker 1: been cut as well. The brothers, the African Brothers out
- 41:00Speaker 1: of Chicago, Abel and ola Asandero, reportedly told investigators that
- 41:06Speaker 1: they drove around Chicago with the Empire Star, that is
- 41:08Speaker 1: Jesse small ed to scout a location. The brother said
- 41:11Speaker 1: Jesse picked a spot near his apartment because he thought
- 41:14Speaker 1: a security camera would capture the fight. It did not,
- 41:18Speaker 1: and since the camera was pointed in the wrong direction,
- 41:21Speaker 1: it didn't capture the fight, and so according to TMZ,
- 41:24Speaker 1: the brothers said Jesse wanted the attack to be a
- 41:27Speaker 1: physical thing, but not to the point he'd be seriously hurt. Also,
- 41:31Speaker 1: there is now a possible motive as to why Jesse
- 41:34Speaker 1: may have staged the attack. A week before the incident,
- 41:37Speaker 1: a letter threatening Jesse was sent to the Empire Studios
- 41:41Speaker 1: where Empire is filmed, and a source told CBS Chicago.
- 41:46Speaker 1: When the letter didn't get enough attention. Jesse concocted the
- 41:50Speaker 1: staged attack. The investigation, plus a grand jury is about
- 41:54Speaker 1: to convene to hear evidence as to whether Jesse should
- 41:58Speaker 1: be indicted on the jury. Yeah, well they have to.
- 42:01Speaker 1: They're bringing a grand jury in to look at the
- 42:03Speaker 1: evidence to see if there's enough to charge. Just now,
- 42:07Speaker 1: can I say this because I used to think that
- 42:09Speaker 1: a grand jury was this group of robed people, but
- 42:14Speaker 1: they're not. It's just toil registered voters. Right, they get
- 42:19Speaker 1: called in to review, right, to review the evidence to
- 42:22Speaker 1: see if there's enough there to warrant a charge, an indictment. Yeah,
- 42:29Speaker 1: so what was in the mind there's an ongoing police investigation.
- 42:34Speaker 1: We do still have to wait until every you know,
- 42:36Speaker 1: all the facts are there and you know, yeah, keep
- 42:40Speaker 1: in mind, you know, yeah, just a lot of confusion,
- 42:44Speaker 1: a lot of craziness um going on. But see if
- 42:48Speaker 1: they if if they didn't cut his role, Uh, you know,
- 42:52Speaker 1: we don't and what if the police investigation came out
- 42:54Speaker 1: to say something. You know, you gotta wait. It's just
- 42:57Speaker 1: a lot Yeah, you just gotta wait and see. Yeah
- 43:00Speaker 1: it doesn't look good, Yeah, it doesn't look good. But
- 43:03Speaker 1: I mean, is lawyers didn't ensure the statement that you know,
- 43:06Speaker 1: they're sticking to their gun. Yeah, yeah, to make clarious victim. Yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: he's sticking to his I don't. I don't know what
- 43:14Speaker 1: the hell is happening. No more, no, no, And that's
- 43:17Speaker 1: why we have to wait and see what the authorities
- 43:21Speaker 1: in Chicago. Well, we were very quick to job everybody's
- 43:27Speaker 1: guilty until proven innocent instead of how the country should
- 43:30Speaker 1: operate innocent until proven guilty. I mean the social media
- 43:34Speaker 1: band way yeah yeah, yeah, and just you don't wait
- 43:38Speaker 1: for the facts and the information, and that's what we
- 43:41Speaker 1: need to do. Right all you can say right now,
- 43:44Speaker 1: just damn, just just period. I mean, it's crazy him
- 43:53Speaker 1: sweat understand that, Yeah, but it's but you know what,
- 43:58Speaker 1: it's crazy and stuff didn happen. Yeah, but like really,
- 44:02Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I don't really what Jesse
- 44:04Speaker 1: Smollett did. Whether he did or not, I don't. Well,
- 44:07Speaker 1: I don't whatever the reason is for, that's something we
- 44:10Speaker 1: may never know. But here's what I do. Here's what
- 44:13Speaker 1: I do know. With forensic and technology today, you can't
- 44:20Speaker 1: plan anything like that. Not saying he did, but you
- 44:24Speaker 1: can't plan anything like that and think you're gonna get
- 44:27Speaker 1: away with it in in wide open public. Man. Do
- 44:30Speaker 1: you know how far they backtracked them dudes to see
- 44:33Speaker 1: where them two figures came from. It's they got cameras everywhere. Yeah, well,
- 44:37Speaker 1: you can't plan something like that and have other people involved.
- 44:40Speaker 1: You know, I just don't want to subway sandwich right now.
- 44:44Speaker 1: I cannot with you. Let's try not to rush to
- 44:48Speaker 1: judgment on this story, no matter what it looks like.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Right now. Let's wait till the investigation has been competed.
- 44:53Speaker 1: But sure we should also wait on getting a subway
- 44:56Speaker 1: sandwich too. You probably don't want to get you know
- 44:59Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You probably want to make you a
- 45:01Speaker 1: flap over into any kids, you know that one piece
- 45:03Speaker 1: of bread and you're flap it over. Get you that
- 45:05Speaker 1: at I did like them saying with you. You know,
- 45:07Speaker 1: like when you do a peanut butter sald with you
- 45:09Speaker 1: just butter one half of the bread and then folded.
- 45:12Speaker 1: You know you want to call that a quickie. Up next,
- 45:17Speaker 1: it is the nephew with Today's Frank phone call that's
- 45:21Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 45:25Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour
- 45:28Speaker 1: right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for
- 45:31Speaker 1: today's subject grinding and grabbing my get me in trouble. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: that's it right down. The nephew is in the building
- 45:43Speaker 1: with today's frank phone call. Nef, what do you have
- 45:46Speaker 1: for us today? Y'all show y'all one one lord? Who
- 45:52Speaker 1: did prank? What is this Black History Month? It is?

- 50:39Speaker 1: name of the black who followed you to bring some
- 50:42Speaker 1: kids to leave me Chad as a kid's wife. I
- 50:47Speaker 1: don't want the name of the they told you that.
- 50:49Speaker 1: That's what I want, im. I don't have their names
- 50:52Speaker 1: in front of me. I don't I told you to
- 50:54Speaker 1: bring these two kids to Mirow. Like I said, I
- 50:57Speaker 1: don't know who told me that. All I know is
- 50:59Speaker 1: whiskey just to drop them off at ten o'clock tomorrow morning.
- 51:02Speaker 1: What kind of they from? Then? I tell when you
- 51:05Speaker 1: come back together them, I didn't sign up for any

- 51:13Speaker 1: the name in front of me, and actually I'm not
- 51:16Speaker 1: at liberty to let you know who submitted your name.
- 51:18Speaker 1: All I know who were skilled to drive two kids
- 51:20Speaker 1: off at ten o'clock tomorrow. Did you not hear what
- 51:23Speaker 1: the f I've been asking you how to sign me
- 51:26Speaker 1: up to bring two white kids. I don't even have
- 51:28Speaker 1: a problem with the kids being right, they could be
- 51:31Speaker 1: Mexican agents. That's not the point. Who gave you? I
- 51:35Speaker 1: don't know who submitted your name. I don't know that.

- 54:52Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter,
- 54:55Speaker 1: Oh lord, subject grinding and grabbing might get me in trouble.
- 55:01Speaker 1: It's okay. They can hear the grand that's okay. But
- 55:06Speaker 1: if you go into an explanation what it is, am not,
- 55:11Speaker 1: would you get him pleased. So it's so ignorant for
- 55:16Speaker 1: mom and daddy in here, one of them in biting
- 55:18Speaker 1: the bottom live all right, there we go. Stephen Shirley.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I am a forty eight year old, happily married man.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I've been married for seventeen years to one of the
- 55:30Speaker 1: finest women in the world. But six months ago my
- 55:33Speaker 1: wife and I hit a rough patch in her sex
- 55:36Speaker 1: life because I'm on high blood pressure medicine and I
- 55:39Speaker 1: can't perform like I used to. I've found different ways
- 55:43Speaker 1: to make sure my wife is pleased and she has
- 55:45Speaker 1: not had any complaints. She tried different things for me too,
- 55:50Speaker 1: but nothing worked. As long as she's happy, I'm happy.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Fast forward to a month ago. I went out for
- 55:58Speaker 1: drinks after work with my coworkers and there was a
- 56:00Speaker 1: group of us drinking, dancing and having a great time.
- 56:04Speaker 1: One of my female coworkers that has a great body
- 56:07Speaker 1: and flaunts it back that thing up on me and
- 56:11Speaker 1: we started grinding on the dance floor. Can I read
- 56:17Speaker 1: your comments? Please say hey, everybody calmed down. I was
- 56:23Speaker 1: I know, I know right. I was shocked. I was shocked,
- 56:28Speaker 1: but I was also really turned on. I let her
- 56:33Speaker 1: grind a few times and drop it to the floor
- 56:36Speaker 1: before I walked away. She followed me to the bar
- 56:39Speaker 1: and reached down and grabbed my crotch and whispered in
- 56:42Speaker 1: my ear that she was impressed by my size and
- 56:45Speaker 1: she could feel that. I was very excited. Heck yeah,
- 56:49Speaker 1: I was excited. He oh yeah, I was excited. I
- 56:52Speaker 1: was excited to get ex I was excited that it
- 56:57Speaker 1: was working again. I told my coworker that she was right,
- 57:01Speaker 1: but I don't get down like that. I rushed home
- 57:04Speaker 1: to try to make crazy love to my wife. I'm Tommy,
- 57:08Speaker 1: But when I got home, the moment had passed and
- 57:12Speaker 1: the excitement was gone. I kept replaying the whole grinding
- 57:17Speaker 1: and grabbing scenes in my mind, but it didn't work.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Now days later, I can't stop thinking about my coworker
- 57:25Speaker 1: and how she made it work again. I'm not a cheater,
- 57:29Speaker 1: but it's been six months since I had sex, and
- 57:32Speaker 1: I know where I can get some. So what should
- 57:35Speaker 1: I do? We Well, well, at least one thing's for sure.
- 57:40Speaker 1: You do know it can work, But the real question is,
- 57:45Speaker 1: why are you writing in here asking Steve and I
- 57:48Speaker 1: for permission to cheat on your wife with your coworker. Sir?
- 57:51Speaker 1: Why are you doing that? Because that's what it is.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I mean, that's exactly what you're doing. Why else would
- 57:56Speaker 1: you mention that it's been six months you know where
- 57:59Speaker 1: you can hits um at the end? I mean, come on,
- 58:02Speaker 1: a man who's not a cheater, as you say in
- 58:05Speaker 1: this letter would not be saying, you know or doing
- 58:09Speaker 1: things like grinding on your coworker. So I just don't
- 58:13Speaker 1: know why he wrote y'all to really, I don't know why.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I mean, two things I suggest you do that could
- 58:20Speaker 1: possibly help your situation, uh, and don't forget you said
- 58:24Speaker 1: when your wife's happy, you're happy. Two things. One, you
- 58:27Speaker 1: got to go back to the doctor. You got to
- 58:29Speaker 1: see if he can reduce your blood pressure meds to
- 58:32Speaker 1: you know, get a lower dosage or something like that.
- 58:35Speaker 1: And maybe you know you won't have this um eed
- 58:39Speaker 1: s see if that's a problem. Or perhaps your doctor
- 58:42Speaker 1: can prescribe you some viagrah you know, or whatever it
- 58:46Speaker 1: is men used during times like this. I don't know
- 58:49Speaker 1: if viagra is still popular. I don't know, but yeah, okay,
- 58:54Speaker 1: because I haven't heard you guys talking about that. If
- 58:59Speaker 1: they come up with this something new, yeah, niagara like
- 59:04Speaker 1: the comes over you. Okay, we're cool. You know, go
- 59:10Speaker 1: to talk to your doctor about this. You know, cheating
- 59:14Speaker 1: with your co worker is definitely not the answer for
- 59:16Speaker 1: a man who's been happily married for seventeen years to
- 59:20Speaker 1: one of the finest women in the world. Come on now, Steven, Well,
- 59:25Speaker 1: here's some truth that people have to understand. They've been
- 59:32Speaker 1: married for seventeen years. I've a doctor told a group
- 59:38Speaker 1: of us one time. We were playing golf and a
- 59:41Speaker 1: doctor told us. They said, fellas, here's a deal. When
- 59:45Speaker 1: you've been married to the same woman that many years.
- 59:49Speaker 1: It goes for both men and women. It's the same.
- 59:54Speaker 1: And it's going to take, as you all stay together longer,
- 59:58Speaker 1: different methods to get everybody to the same level of
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: pleasure that they used to be at years ago. It's
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: gonna take something different now after two of you never
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: make the adjustment to do nothing different for one or both.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Eventually it's going to become a little bit mundane or
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: shall we say boring. Okay, and that can happen to
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: anyone and seventeen years that's what it is. Well, you know,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you you had some problems come up, and you're just
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: taking high blood and medicine and the meshy little game up. Now,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: you know you got some things you're dealing with. Did
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: he sleep yeah? Rip van Rink the Seven Dwars one
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: of them sleep yeah, one of them sleep. You know
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you just got to know you got a little problem,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: probably because of the high blood. I strongly suggest you
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: change your diet. I really do, because diet can help
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: with that problem. Blow the sun. You have to change
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: your diet because at high blood, you get off that
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: high blood medicine, you could be back. But if you
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: stay on that high blood medicine, pimp, you ain't making
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: a comeback. There is the fact that he's forty eight.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: That ain't nothing. You know, you know you might start
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: to have little differences like at forty eight. You know,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: when you reach your moment of passion, the electricity, the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: electrical current that normally runs up the back of your neck,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: it ain't the same. Yeah, it's that electrical current is
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: not as strong when you was twelve. You think about
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I mean when it happened to you at twenty one
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: you think about killing yourself because it was too much. Yeah,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: what happened at forty Like at twenty one is like
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: that had in an electrical socket. Yeah, forty eight is
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: like it's over. That's it. It's like the phone vibrating
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: in your pocket. Okay, all right, well, uh, we'll come
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: back with part two of Steve's response to today's Strawberry
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Letters subject to grinding and grabbing might get me in trouble.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: We'll be back at twenty three after the hour. Right
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. Come on, Steve, Let's
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letters. Subject grinding and grabbing kept me
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: in trouble. Forty and year old man been married seventeen
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: years old, seventeen years to one of the finest women
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: in the world. Then y'all hit a rough spot about
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: six months ago. You started taking this high blood medicine
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: and it affected it affected the train. The train has
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: lost his shoe. Shoe local and too true any more
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: that it's just a train. Now it's on the track,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: but ain't nobody shoveling coal? Everybody off. So now you're
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: sitting there and you found other ways to satisfy, and
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: she tried helping you, but nothing work. You know. So
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you go out with some co workers as a group
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: of y'all drinking, dancing, having a great time. One of
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: your female co workers that's got a great body and
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: flaunce it back that thing up on me and started
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: grinding on the dance floor. Huh yeah. I was shocked,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: but I was also turned off. And lord I let
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: her ground a few times, dropping it to the but
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: dropping it to the floor, and then I walked away.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: And so anyway, moments she followed me to the bar,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: reached down, grabbed my crotch and whispered in my ear,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I'm impressed by your side, big boy, and she could
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: feel I was very excited. Wait, what excuse me? Can
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: you say that? I can't police what she said. I
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: could feel happy. She said, I'm really impressed by your side,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: big boy. I heard that. That's what I heard. That's
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: not what's in the letter, but that's that's how they
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: was said. Did you insert that. That's a personal moment.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I'm really impressed by your side, big boy. Thank you, man,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I appreciate you too. But it's a shame though, when
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: they say, I'm not impressed by your side. I said, well,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I was impressed by yours. That ain't a matches, no, okay,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: So anyway, she grabbed the crotching whispered in your ear.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: She was impressed by your side, and she could feel
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I was very excited here. Yeah, I was excited. I
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: was excited that it was working again. I told my
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: coworker that she was right, but I don't get down
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: like that. I rushed home to make crazy love to
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: my wife. But when I got home, the moment had
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: passed and the excitement was gone. That's called the moment
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: was back at the club. Partner. Ye hate to tell
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: you that. I hate to tell you that, but I
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: must tell you that you can't care what happened at
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: the club to the house because what is trying to
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: happen at the house was actually started back at the club.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: That type or heat heated exchange and excitement don't last
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: on the freeway stopping at light, your focus is altogether different.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Couple cop cars and passed by, you know you black,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: You don't got scared. Oh God, take gonna pull me over.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: They're going on about their business. So yeah, bro, you're
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: in trouble. You weren't gonna make it. But now ever
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: since that happened, I've been playing that whole grinding thing
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: grabbing scene in my mind. Yeah, so no, no, no,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: he says. When he got home, he tried to make
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: crazy look so what he kept doing was playing back
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: in his mind the grinding scene and the grabbing scene,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: but it didn't work. Now days later, I can't stop
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: thinking about and how she made it work. To hear
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: where he's trying to save itself. I'm not a cheater,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: but it's been six months since I had sex, and
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I know where I can get some. So what should
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I do? Well, Homie says, we're on the radio. I said, Well,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Homies says, we're on the radio. I'm gonna tell you this.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: I gotta find a way to work it out. First
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: of all, you and your wife gonna had to do
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: some new things. It's got to be completely new st
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Ryan and some other things too. Y'all been together seventeen years.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I know you're married to the finest woman in the world.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: That's a good way to feel about your girl. But
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: you gotta do something different. Y'all got to try something different. Well,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: you know you may not agree with what I'm about
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: to tell you, but you can. It's a lot of
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: things that bring a little excitement into your bed. Well,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: you know, like on on your way to the bed room,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: just grab just reach on the can and get that
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: can of grease that's on top of the stove. Either
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: one fish off baker. Just get it in the room
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: so you can get a different smell in that. Yeah,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you know you need you need to go and a
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: smell like you cook it, you know, try to get
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: it on. A couple of things you could do too,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you know you can. I would like reinforce the chandelier
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: in the ceiling because you because you need to get
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: in there and do some swinging parties. Trampoline you got
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: to look like that poe as a hotel in Vega
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Circus Circus. You gotta have some stuff going on. You
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: got to have some clowns in there with the flowers
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: that squirt water. You've got to bring some tricks in
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: this bedroom, homie, or else your wife gonna leave you, man,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: cause you ain't performing at all. You gotta start thinking
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: what can I do to change things around here? Hell yeah,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you gotta put the but don't put trampoline in the
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: bed room. Put it in the hallway. I want you
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to come flying in. Yeah, I want you to fly
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: in from the hallway with a Spider Man suit on,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: and make sure that the trampoline is aimed towards the
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: flash screen on the wall. So when you sprang in
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: here like Spider Man, you just hanging on the edge
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: of that flash screen TV. You're making a real acteen here. Now, boy,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: that visual is crazy to TV. You just hanging on
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: the TV. Both your feet, your hands is on the wall.

- 1:11:36Speaker 1: but he is running for president again. Senator Sanders confirmed
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: yesterday that yes, he does plan to seek the Democratic
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: nomination in twenty twenty. It's a second attempt at trying
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: to win the White House. He is seventy seven, I said,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: seventy seven years old. He is, Bernie, Well, what is
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: our president? Seventy one? Trump is seventy one or seventy two, Yeah,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: seventy one or seventy two, not our present. Yeah, the
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: president of the US seventy he's in his seventies. Bernie says,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: we are running against the president who is a pathological liar,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: a fraud, a racist, a sexist, a xenophobe, and someone
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: who is undermining American democracy. Is he leads us in
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: an authoritarian direction? As we know, President Trump has referred
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: to Bernie Sanders on Twitter as crazy Bernie. All right.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders told CBS this morning that we're going to
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: move this revolution forward in the community. In the community,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: take a listen. We are gonna also launch what I
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: think is unprecedented in modern American history, and that is
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: a grassroots movement John to lay the groundwork for transforming
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: the economic and political life of this country. That's what stifferent.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: So that's what's different. Yeah, that's what Okay, all right,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: So there you have it. The question is can he
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: beat Trump? That is the question. I don't know, man.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: You know, I didn't vote for Bernie before because I
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: didn't think he was gonna make it. But boy did
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: he make a showing. Yeah. Yeah, against Hillary Clinton and
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: the last presidential election. A lot of people felt like
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Bernie was talking to them, and that's where Hillary kind
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: of missed out. Yes, wasn't talking to them. Yes, she
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: missed the vote, especially the millennials, Carla, they were yeah
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: following yeah, yeah, yeah. Because he wanted universal healthcare, he
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: wanted to do away with college tuition. Yes, um, yes,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: you know, those a lot of younger voters. You're right, Shirley,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: who how many we got candidates for the Democratic Party. Yeah,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: all these three women just a lot of people I've
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: never heard of, and you know, you gotta weed them out.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: So yeah, but I know, I know all of them.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: People can't really think. I can't really think they should
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: win the White House. Hopefully they're not running if they
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: don't think they can win. I just don't think that
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: all these people think that they legitimately have a shot.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: They gotta believe in themselves though they have to, and
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: you just don't want you want someone to be that
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: can really beat Trump. Is that that's what y'all need
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: to do. And if you're not the person, get out
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: the race. Everybody thinks they can bring something. I mean,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: that's the thing. Who can beat Trump? Which one of
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: them can beat Trump? Biden and Kamela Yeah, Kamala Harris. Yeah,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: m that's a good team. Kamala Harris, That's that's the
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: team that could win it. Yeah, I agree, But Biden
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: hasn't announced yet. Yeah, they will. You think sound number
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: sixty beat it? It's candidate. Wow, it did surprise me.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: The host team that Uh, Kamala Harris and Corey Booker
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: are such good friends and now they're they're both running. Yeah,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: they're competing for the same job now, you know, yeah,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I know that they're very good friends. Yeah. This is
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: uh Julian Castro out of Texas. Uh what's her name
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: is announced? Yeah, a long time ago. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: the twin Yeah, yeah, he's in it. Yeah, out of
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Minnesota is in it. Um, Kirsten Uh what is her
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: last name? She's in it. So there's three women. And
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: then welcome, Yeah, Corey Booker, we said him, Bernie Sanders,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Julian Castro, um, and well, anyway, it's a crowded field.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Let's say that a lot a lot of people. Well
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: what was the um the Republican count last time? Was
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: a sixteen or seventeen candidate? When when when Trump? When
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Trump was running Yeah yeah. And then Howard Schultz from
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: uh oh yeah from start. Well he's going to run
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: as an independent, yeah, which is said he doesn't see color.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Who said that? Howard Schultz, the uh the guy that
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: used to run Starbucks that's runnings as an independent maybe yeah.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: All right, well, um, this is going to be going
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: on for you know what. All right, coming up at
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Puffy or or Diddy, if
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: you call him? Did he? His wax figure was decapitated
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: and Serena Williams is back ranked in the top ten.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening too well.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: The wax figure of Diddy or Puffy Sean Diddy Combs
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: has been decapitated. A vandal toppled the statue at Madame Tussau,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: the Wax Museum in New York City, then stumped on
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: its face, causing over a quarter million in damage in damages, Yeah,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: police said. The culprit then escaped on foot, but not
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: before screaming at the wax figure. Look what you made
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: me do the museum? What? Yeah, so he's screaming at
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: the wax figure, Look what you made me do the muse? Yeah,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the museum allows visitors to interact with the figures and
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: get up close. Oh yeah, because we've seen people taking
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: selfies with the wax figures and all of that. Yeah.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Repairs will be made as quickly as possible so that
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Diddy can return to the museum to the A list
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: party room. Hump Was he also saying take that takedown?
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: He wasn't doing that, No, colle, he wasn't doing that.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: He wasn't doing that anywhere, bab Jesus. But look what
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: you made me do? Yeah, loved you made me do
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: all right. In other news, it's Women Crush Wednesday, okay,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: m wc W. So when it comes to strong female
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: role models, the lovely, the beautiful, the very, very talented,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Serena Williams is a perfect ten. Remember she was our
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Women Crush Wednesday one Wednesday Carlot the Boat. Yeah, and
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: yesterday Serena ranked another ten, which, although not perfect, is
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: one she can be pretty happy about. When Serena made
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: her first appearance in the Tennis Ranking's top ten since
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: giving birth to her daughter, Olympia in September of twenty seventeen.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: So that's big. Now she's she's working her way back,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: okay to being number one. It looks like to me
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: because she struggled, you know, and that first year was
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: having the baby and getting back and they weren't treating her,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: you know, as fairly. And so now she's made it
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: to the top ten. You know, she's very determined. So
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: she's thirty seven years old, she's third all time with
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: three hundred and nineteen total weeks at number one. She's
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: ranked at number ten and the latest Women's Tennis Association ranking.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: So congratulations. Yes, yes she's a bad girl, Yes she
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: is of a yeah yeah, but but she's proving, you know,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: like so many women have before her, uh, is that
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you can have a baby and and still you know,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: follow your dreams and be a great women women care

- 1:21:38Speaker 1: give them to me. Pass me out, do some passing
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: me out. Crazy man. All right, this is some sad news. Um.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Chlore Kardashian, according to TMZ, has thrown in the towel.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: She's broken up with her man, Tristan Thompson after she

- 1:22:00Speaker 1: That Tristan allegedly cheated on her with her sister, her
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: baby sister, Kylie's best friend. Oh Jordan, Yeah, little Jordan. Yeah?
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Uh what best Kylie? Chloe's little sister Kylie as a
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: best friend named Jordan. Tristan was messing around on Chloe
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: with Jordan. What is right with Jordan? Yeah? None of it. Yeah,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: I'm pulling it up right now, sir. Okay, So we're
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: tall that Tristan flew into La to spend Valentine's That
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: was Thursday. Of course, he spent that with with Chloe
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: and the baby baby true. Then on Saturday, he went
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: out hooked up with Kylie's best friend, Jordan, and then
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: witnesses say Tristan and Jordan were just all over each other,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: making out and everything. Chloe found out and immediately broke
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: things off with Tristan. Think nobody, we're going to see you,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: but he don't know what nobody see? Yeah that's six
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: foot thirteen. How you think? Ain't nobody goteen? But terrible
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: girl's sister's best friend. This is a terrible story. This
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: is a terrible You should have called Lamar and just
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: went to vehicle. He should have done that. Yeah, you're
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: gonna do something. I did see this on TMZ and
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Our Girl Raquel. She said that this was a setup.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: She said that, she said that this whole thing was
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: a set up just to see if Tristan would she
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: done her? Yeah, take the bait. Yeah that sounds like,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: well he took it. Well he did. Yeah, I just
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: can't see her, Kylie's best friend join this with her
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: sister's man, Tommy send The picture doesn't make any sense. Yeah,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I gotta come right up for you. This is crazy. Yeah,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: this is really crazy. But everybody gonna take this bait though,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: this this this right here. Okay, Tommy, Tommy, you're married. Okay, yeah,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: we're gonna only use to know my. So you think
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: it's just based on the location we are. Did you
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: say that you married all over the world? Yeah, I
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: don't mean I thought you just when you got all right,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of this ignorant show right
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: after this you're listening to. All right, here's a question
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: for you. Will R Kelly finally pay for his alleged crimes?
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: We're not sure, We don't know, but word has it
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: that a grand jury has been convened in Cook County, Illinois,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: in connection to the new allegations against him. This comes
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: on the heels of that sex tape that Michael Avanati
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: turned into Chicago authorities. In case you guys, uh don't
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: remember this case, so we'll just happened last week, but
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: to review, the Cook County States Ernie asked potential witnesses
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to come forward in the aftermath of the surviving R.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Kelly docuseries, and for the record, he's denied all allegations.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: The Cook County States Attorney wouldn't confirm the grand jury
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: proceedings or the existence of a new investigation, and ours
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: lawyer Steve Greenberg said he hasn't been notified of a
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: grand jury. We'll keep you posted. Last week, of course, um,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: a new tape surfaced, supposedly with R. Kelly having sex
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: with a fourteen year old. Yeah. Yeah, and this is
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: a completely different tape than the first one. Let me
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: tell you something, my little girl fourteen, I ain't waiting
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: on no nothing. I ain't waiting on the pole poles.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: I ain't waiting on nothing, my little girl fourteen. Let
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: me tell you something. I don't know who up in
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: that house, but I'm goin up that whole damn house.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: When I get up over there, I promise you that
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: it's not going to be good at all as it
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: should be. You know, I can't really, I can't met
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: It's really hard. And he's gotten away with this for
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: so long, for so long, it's time to put a
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: stop to this. Now it's really sick. Naw. Yeah. So
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: now we talked about Kylie earlier. Carla, Now what's going
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: on with her baby daddy? Trevis Scott. Okay, so over
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: the weekend he was he had a Southwest Commercial Airlines moment.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: You know that want to get away? Remember that commercial?
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: So he was in concert and uh, at the end
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: of the show he said, Saint Louis, I love you,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: get home safe. That was nice, but it was misplaced
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: because he was actually in Kansas City, Missouri. Dam So
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: he kind of looked around and everybody was like, um,
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: a little Southwest commercial airline. So has that ever happened
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: to you? See where you could? You know, you and
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Timmy y'all toured. Y'all tour a lot time. You were
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: always on the road. Have y'all ever saluted one city
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: and made the mistake and was supposed to be somewhere else?
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: You never? None? Was yes that that that that whole
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. Well that's kind
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: of understandable. Yeah, yeah, they weren't hearing that though. No, No,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: they weren't understanding. They was not hearing that. I made
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: that mistake, but not on stage. I was so well
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: when I did it. But Kansas City, Missouri wants you
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: to say Missouri, do not say Kansas. But that never
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: happened to you, Steve, Oh, I don't never remember doing that,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: not mistaken the city. Now I've awakened one time. I
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: woke up in a hotel, came downstairs to the restaurant. Yeah,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: I was looking around. Didn't know where I was. I
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: really so the guy came up to me and I said, hey, man,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: can I ask you question? I ain't trying to be fun.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Where Where am I? Where am I? He said, You're
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: right here, sir. I said, no, no doubt. Where What
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: city is this? He said, oh, oh, this Saint Petersburg, Florida. Yeah.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Why didn't you know that I had been traveling some
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: show so many days? I was someone I was doing
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: those one night as with the comedies on. Then get
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: confused with where you was? Wow, it was it was
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: horrible and look at you now. We'll be back with
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: You're listening to show some sad news, guys. Legendary fashion
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: designer Carl Lagerfeld has passed away. He was eighty five
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: years old. The German designer, who lived in Paris, died
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: earlier today, uh yesterday, after missing a number of fashion
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: shows while being ill in recent weeks. Carl Feld became
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: a design assistant as a teenager and began his long
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: career with Chanel back in nineteen eighty three. He's credited
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: with adding glitz to the design houses style. He was
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: a creative director for Chanelle and Fendy up until his death.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: Lagerfeld released collections for Fendy and his label. And what
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: he did for me, You know what he did for me,
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: what he made me smell good throughout the whole eighties.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: You hit me that Lagerfeld Cologne was doing the same
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: thing through the whole eighties. Yeah, I did. I did.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: I thought that Lagerfeld we ain't gonna be like I
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: had some mode, but that Lagerfeld was signal that was Germaine.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Did you get a lot of girls? What you know? Man,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: shag with a duck tail in the back? What I though?
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: What come on? Boy, shag with a duck tail with
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: the duck kill man? We should call him q locks
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: locks q licks. Yeah, when you had that little flip
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: on the back, we called them que locks. I used
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: to cut them for the brothers in college. You had
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: a shag with Wow, I would love to see that.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Let me get that part on the side. What you're
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: talking about. My mama said, it's way too much going on. Yeah,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: you need one of you know something, man, I'm like,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: I have the best clones now coming up. Though, Dog,
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: you couldn't tell me nothing about polo. That was your
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: fragrance the gold. Yeah, yes, everybody had this man holo.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: And you know ladies love a good smelling man. Everybody,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: you know you had that polo too long? When that
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: goal is starting to flake off the top and the
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: and the man on the horse has faded. No way,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: You're like, man, here when you know you got on
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: too much, when the girl say you need to wash
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: some of that off. Yeah, man, I had so much
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: polo on that dispatch one night that Yeah, I have
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: a little cheap ass suit on. I was standing at
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: the edge of the bar nursing this drink that wouldn't
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: have no alcohol in it. I was standing there, man,
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: I had so much polo on me it was burning
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: in my eye. Did you leave any in the bottle
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: that I had three hand fools on me? I added
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: it all in my suit jacket because you know, I
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: knew they was in the club with too much going on,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: and there I ain't I want in mind the last
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: whoa I was there? You put on? I mean no,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: se you you bousted in the bottle. You bousted in
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: your hand about light that made it last longer? Man,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: three handful all on the back of my neck and
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: my eel. You didn't take anyone home that night, He'll not.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: Sully wasn't that good back then? Take the money, Gonna
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: be lucky to get it and take nobody home like
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: first night hard back then? Yeah, ok, yeah, LEAs have
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: some kind of game. Got the coat off, you got
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: the coat all right? Coming up, it's Steve Harvey and
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: his closing remarks. You don't want to miss it. At
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: forty nine after the hour. You're listening all right, Here
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: we are, last break of the day. Time for Steve's
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: closing remarks. Okay, um, Today Tommy sent me something, sent
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: me a caption that I'm gonna keep because I oftentimes
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: keep home quotes in my motivational folder in my photo
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: stream and I just look at him from time to
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: time when I'm feeling a certain kind of way. Sometimes
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: I just need a little uplift myself, you know. And
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: Tommy sent me this today. Then I'm gonna share it
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: with you, and it's gonna call me cause me to
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: expound on it a bit because it's something I really
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: do believe in it says, do not ask God to
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: guide your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: Do not ask God to guide your footsteps if you're
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: not willing to move your feet. You know, folks, it's
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: very simple. God can put his finger on something to
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: bless if you give him something to put his finger on.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: But you can't. You can't ask God to do something,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: and you're making no effort. Lord, help me get a job,
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: but you ain't putting in no applications. Lord, help me
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: do right. But all you ever want to do is wrong.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: You're just committed to Rome. You know, you gotta make
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: a move in the right direction. You know, faith without
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: works is dead. So what timey sent me? Do not
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not willing
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: to move your feet. It's something all of us, and
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: all of us are guilty of it. From time to time.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: Sometimes we get complacent. Sometimes we just get the feeling
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: side for ourselves. You know, man, I guess it ain't
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: meant to be. Oh Lord, whatnot? You know? Look, man,
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: you can complain your way through life if you want to,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: but you really have to make an attitude adjustment. You
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: gotta get two things moving, your attitude and your feet.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: Those two things have to get moving. You gotta start
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: taking steps. You may not know the weight how to
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: get to the finish line, but the finish line is somewhere.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: It ain't where you at. The finnish line is never
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: where you're standing. So you gotta start taking some step
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: apps And once again, you may not know all the
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: steps necessary to get to the tape, but you gotta
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: start the process. Man. So, like the caption says, stop
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: asking God to guide your footsteps. If you ain't willing
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: to move your feet, you got to put it into motion. Look,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: it's just a dream when you're thinking about it, but
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: you gotta put some You gotta put your dreams to work.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: Motivation is when your dreams put on work clothes. You
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: gotta take your dreams and put work clothes on the man.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: You gotta start stepping in the right direction. You've got
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: to make a move towards the light. You've got to
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: step towards the finish line. You've got to start to
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: get the way you're trying to get to. You gotta
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: get to go. You gotta go to get period. You
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: cannot stay that whereever you're trying to get you can't
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: be right where you at. It can't be. It can't be.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: I give you, look, this is this is a silly example.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: But let's say your family reunion is in Wyoming, which
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: I know it's not. That's why I said, And you
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: drive to Wyoming. When you get to Wyoming, and you
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: reach Wyoming, the state of Wyoming, you still got to
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: do something because what where is the family reunion at?
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: It just can't go to Wyoming. Well, I'm here, Lord,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: you here, you wom you even when you get the
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: way you say you're going, you got to move around.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: Let's say you get to the park where you're holding
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: the family reunion. And you get to the park. Once
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: you get to the park, but what you gotta do something.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: You're gonna play softball, volleyball, You're gonna sit there on
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: the tree, play down, I'm gonna you're gonna bob kill,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: You're gonna make elimonade. You constantly gotta be doing something.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: There is no when you get there, you there. There
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: is no more movement required. There's a movement required throughout
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: your life because wherever you're trying to get to it
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: ain't where you at. I can promise you that it's
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: never where you at. I'm doing very well in my life.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: It ain't where I'm going. How would I be just
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: I'm here now? This it this in what No more dreams, Steve,
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: no more visions. You want nothing else? You hear this
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: it for you And it doesn't matter me that people
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: look at me and go, Man, you gotta all this.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: I don't need to see what you're tripping for. I
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: ain't tripping. I just want to be more than I am.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: I'm really trying to be a better person. I really
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: really am. I'm not content with the person I am.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: I could improve. I could actually be a better person.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: So I'm in the process. God ain't through with me yet.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: He's working on me. I'm trying. I'm better than I
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: used to be, but I'm still got my feet moving.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: So I'm asking God to guide my steps. But I
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: got my feet moving. Man, stop asking God to guide
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: your footsteps. If you ain't willing to move your feet
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: can't happen. It's what you want. Come on, man, stop that, dude.
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: You're being unreasonable to God guiding your footstep and moving
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: your feet down the path. That's too different that you
