Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / New CNN Poll Shows Trump Beating Biden!
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: So there's a new poll out that says that Donald
- 0:04Speaker 1: Trump would beat Joe Biden in a head.
- 0:09Speaker 2: To head race.
- 0:10Speaker 1: What does CNN say at the bottom of the page
- 0:13Speaker 1: or the top of the page quote no clear leader.
- 0:16Speaker 1: So when Trump's leading, there's no clear leader cause they're saying, well,
- 0:21Speaker 1: it's only one point here, so it's totally fine. And
- 0:24Speaker 1: what happens the same day that the new poll comes
- 0:27Speaker 1: out that there is a lead by Donald Trump by
- 0:29Speaker 1: one point over Joe Biden.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Well, don't worry.
- 0:31Speaker 1: They're now talking about new indictments against Donald Trump. But
- 0:34Speaker 1: before we get to that, I just hear the bias
- 0:36Speaker 1: media coverage here. This is an actual CNN poll, so
- 0:40Speaker 1: they have to cover that poll and it shows Donald
- 0:43Speaker 1: Trump beating Joe Biden forty seven to forty six. Their
- 0:48Speaker 1: spend on the screen registered voters, no clear leader, even
- 0:54Speaker 1: though it clearly shows the leader is Donald Trump, whether
- 0:57Speaker 1: it's one point or not. In fact, most elections for
- 1:00Speaker 1: president or not like ten point leads or twelve point
- 1:03Speaker 1: leads on election day when you win it by very
- 1:05Speaker 1: small margins, like one percentage point or less in different states.
- 1:11Speaker 1: But they're going to look at you with a straight
- 1:12Speaker 1: face as you can see on the screen that Donald
- 1:15Speaker 1: Trump is winning forty seven forty six, and they're going
- 1:18Speaker 1: to tell you there's no clear leader, as they then
- 1:20Speaker 1: decide to go back and talk about more Trump indictments.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Listen in our politics lead moments from now, President Joe Biden,
- 1:28Speaker 3: we'll get on Air Force one and fly to India
- 1:30Speaker 3: for Saturday's G twenty summit. And one thing that is
- 1:33Speaker 3: sure to follow him there the stark reality that his
- 1:36Speaker 3: re election is anything but guaranteed. As evidenced by a
- 1:40Speaker 3: brand new CNN poll out today, Biden's approval rating stands
- 1:45Speaker 3: at thirty nine percent. Jimmy Carter, a one term president,
- 1:48Speaker 3: is the only other president who had a worse approval
- 1:52Speaker 3: rating at this point in his presidency. This, of course,
- 1:55Speaker 3: could reopen the oval office door to the current Republican
- 1:58Speaker 3: front runner, Donald Trump, as where finding no clear leader.
- 2:02Speaker 3: In a hypothetical matchup between President Biden and a man
- 2:05Speaker 3: who could be a convicted felon by election day, forty
- 2:10Speaker 3: six percent of voters in fact say they would take
- 2:12Speaker 3: literally any Republican over Biden. And the big question has
- 2:17Speaker 3: Biden lost the locker room? Sixty seven percent of Democrats
- 2:20Speaker 3: say they would prefer a different Democratic nominee, CNN's Jeff ZELLENI,
- 2:26Speaker 3: by the way, let's.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Just stop there for a second preferred twenty twenty four
- 2:30Speaker 1: Democratic presidential nominee. Okay, this is only Democrats, right and
- 2:35Speaker 1: Democratic leaning voters that are asked this question, because if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you're a Republican, right, don't we don't want to hear
- 2:40Speaker 1: from you on this one. Thirty three percent of Democratic
- 2:44Speaker 1: voters say they want Joe Biden. Sixty seven percent say
- 2:48Speaker 1: they would prefer anyone else, someone else, like they don't
- 2:51Speaker 1: even give a crap who it is, Just don't give
- 2:53Speaker 1: me Joe Biden again. What that means is that Joe
- 2:56Speaker 1: Biden is an extremely weak candidate even within the Democratic
- 2:59Speaker 1: Party field. This is like Jimmy Carter type numbers. These
- 3:03Speaker 1: are disastrous numbers. You have a liberal leaning poll here,
- 3:08Speaker 1: by the way, a liberal leaning poll that is going
- 3:12Speaker 1: to favor Democrats over Republicans.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It's a CNN poll.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And so I would argue that the thirty three percent
- 3:20Speaker 1: claiming they like Joe Biden, that may actually be a
- 3:23Speaker 1: little high. The sixty seven percent may actually be about
- 3:26Speaker 1: seventy percent if you had a more fair sample.
- 3:30Speaker 2: But Forget all that for a second.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It's still devastating with these numbers. Sixty seven percent of
- 3:36Speaker 1: Democratic voters say they want anyone else besides Joe Biden.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Now they're telling you this because they're trying to figure
- 3:43Speaker 1: out how the hell do we rally the Democratic Party? Right, Like,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you're stuck with this guy? So what do you do?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Keep listening to this propaganda from CNN.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Is at the magic wall for us to break down
- 3:52Speaker 3: these numbers. Jeff, what are Biden's biggest liabilities according to
- 3:57Speaker 3: our new poll and are they fixable?
- 4:00Speaker 4: Well, Jake, you mentioned that thirty nine percent approval rating.
- 4:02Speaker 4: When you look inside these numbers, here are some of
- 4:05Speaker 4: the reasons why the economy. How of Biden's policies affected
- 4:09Speaker 4: US economic conditions? Fifty eight percent say that they have.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Worsened the conditions.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Now, of course, this is the president's calling card, the legislation,
- 4:17Speaker 4: the laws that he assigned into from infrastructure to the
- 4:21Speaker 4: Inflation Reduction Act to lowering drug prices. Clearly, those examples
- 4:26Speaker 4: have not made their way into the consciousness of the
- 4:28Speaker 4: American public. Fifty eight percent say that his policies have
- 4:31Speaker 4: worsened the conditions.
- 4:33Speaker 5: But when you go a little bit farther. Stamina. That
- 4:36Speaker 5: is one of the central questions here.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Does the president have the stamina and sharpness to serve
- 4:40Speaker 4: effectively as president?
- 4:42Speaker 5: Seventy four percent.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Of Americans say no, only twenty six percent say yes.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Go into that a little bit more. When you compare
- 4:51Speaker 4: this on Democrats, Independence, and Republicans now versus March, these
- 4:55Speaker 4: numbers have fallen throughout the spring and summer months, say
- 4:58Speaker 4: two percent in March now only fifty percent of Democrats,
- 5:01Speaker 4: of course, Independence a central number here. Republicans, of course
- 5:04Speaker 4: would be lower than that. But these are some of
- 5:06Speaker 4: the reasons that the approval rating is so low. And
- 5:09Speaker 4: there's just a pessimistic mood about this president and the economy.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Jake, all right, so you've got a pessimistic mood. The
- 5:17Speaker 1: president's got a real problem because he's losing people right
- 5:21Speaker 1: stamina and sharpness to serve as president. And March sixty
- 5:24Speaker 1: two percent said he can handle it. NAT's down to
- 5:26Speaker 1: fifty Independence it was thirty one percent, now down to
- 5:30Speaker 1: twenty three percent March, and Republicans it was five percent
- 5:34Speaker 1: now it's six percent. So he actually moved the needle
- 5:37Speaker 1: with the Republicans, which is hilarious and lost Democrats independence.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Now that's probably because Republicans are like, hell, yeah, we
- 5:44Speaker 1: think he's sharp enough, because we want him in the general, right,
- 5:47Speaker 1: we want him to be the candidate. We believe that
- 5:50Speaker 1: he is the easiest person to beat the same way
- 5:55Speaker 1: that the Democrats believe that Donald Trump is the easiest
- 5:59Speaker 1: person to beat.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Which brings me back to the bigger conversation.
- 6:04Speaker 1: All right, so you get all this data, Biden facing
- 6:07Speaker 1: major negative ratings and age concerns, and then CNN is like,
- 6:11Speaker 1: all right, well, crap, how do we spend this? Right,
- 6:14Speaker 1: this is our own poll We have to cover our
- 6:16Speaker 1: own polls. So what do we do now to somehow
- 6:19Speaker 1: change that? So then they move to something else, Right,
- 6:22Speaker 1: they moved to another issue. What is motivating you? And
- 6:26Speaker 1: how motivated are the people in this twenty twenty four election?
- 6:29Speaker 1: All right, well, gop, this is the voter enthusiasm aspect
- 6:34Speaker 1: of this, which is extremely important.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Right.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Voter enthusiasm is something we need. Republicans need to be
- 6:39Speaker 1: excited about going to vote.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Listen, the importance of voter turnout.
- 6:43Speaker 3: How motivated are the Republican parties voters and the Democratic
- 6:47Speaker 3: parties voters to get to the polls in the twenty
- 6:51Speaker 3: twenty four race.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Chake.
- 6:52Speaker 4: That is one of the central interesting findings here if
- 6:54Speaker 4: you look at the GOP motivation first of all, and
- 6:56Speaker 4: then of course we're having a robust primary campaign. Several
- 7:00Speaker 4: candidates are out there every single day, there's been a debate,
- 7:03Speaker 4: so there certainly is interest in that. But motivated to
- 7:06Speaker 4: vote in the twenty twenty four election, seventy one percent
- 7:08Speaker 4: of Republicans say they're extremely motivated to vote.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Seventeen percent say they're very motivated to vote.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Take a look at this compared to Democrats, only sixty
- 7:17Speaker 4: one percent say they're extremely motivated to vote. You may
- 7:20Speaker 4: not think that that is that big of a difference,
- 7:22Speaker 4: but this is where the idea of a third party
- 7:24Speaker 4: candidate could come in. If there's not enough excitement for
- 7:28Speaker 4: the president for his ticket, could there be an opening
- 7:30Speaker 4: for a Green Party candidate or a No Labels candidate.
- 7:34Speaker 4: That's why enthusiasm here is certainly so interesting. And of
- 7:37Speaker 4: course we are more than a year away, so this
- 7:39Speaker 4: can change, but at this point this is a good benchmark.
- 7:42Speaker 4: We'll certainly keep our eye on this number here over
- 7:45Speaker 4: the next year.
- 7:46Speaker 1: All right, So Republicans are extremely motivated. Democrats their motivation
- 7:53Speaker 1: is lower than that. So now it comes back to
- 7:56Speaker 1: the issue of Okay, well, let's compare the two. What
- 7:59Speaker 1: happens they head to head Trump verse Biden. All right,
- 8:04Speaker 1: let me tell you real quick about an amazing company
- 8:07Speaker 1: called Patriot Mobile. Every day we hear about another familiar
- 8:11Speaker 1: brand that sells out their customers and is going Woke.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Americans like me and you're probably one of them, are
- 8:19Speaker 1: sick and tired of having leftist propaganda jammed into every
- 8:23Speaker 1: product that we consume. Well, woke mobile companies are no different.
- 8:28Speaker 1: The company that you're paying your bill to right now
- 8:30Speaker 1: may be giving major donations to Planned Parenthood, for example,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and for years they've been dumping millions of these liberal causes,
- 8:37Speaker 1: and we had to take it because you need a
- 8:38Speaker 1: cell phone and probably thought there was no alternative.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Well, I've got news for you.
- 8:42Speaker 1: There is, and I want you to make the switch
- 8:45Speaker 1: and stand up for a company that stands up for
- 8:47Speaker 1: your values. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider,
- 8:53Speaker 1: offering dependable nationwide coverage on all three major networks. That
- 8:57Speaker 1: means you get the best possible service in your area period.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But guess what you do, lose the leftist propaganda. Now,
- 9:05Speaker 1: when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending a message
- 9:08Speaker 1: that you support free speech, religious freedom, the sanctity of life,
- 9:12Speaker 1: the Second Amendment, our military veterans and first responder heroes.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That's because they give a piece of your bill every
- 9:19Speaker 1: month to those causes. They have one hundred percent US
- 9:22Speaker 1: based customer service team that makes switching easy. So just
- 9:25Speaker 1: go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile
- 9:30Speaker 1: dot com slash ferguson. Or you can call them eight
- 9:33Speaker 1: seven eight Patriot. That's eight seven eight Patriot. Get free
- 9:37Speaker 1: activation a day with the offer code ferguson. Ask about
- 9:40Speaker 1: their coverage guarantee when you're on the phone with them.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Get the same dependable service and take a stand for
- 9:45Speaker 1: your values. Make the switch today Patriotmobile dot com slash
- 9:49Speaker 1: ferguson or eight seven eight Patriot. They didn't do that though,
- 9:54Speaker 1: which really makes me laugh. You would naturally set up
- 9:58Speaker 1: a Trump the Biden scenario, but.
- 10:01Speaker 2: No, no, no, CNN doesn't do that. No, no no.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Instead, they go to a poll where they claim that
- 10:08Speaker 1: the best candidate to beat Joe Biden is none other
- 10:12Speaker 1: than drum roll, please, Nicky Haley.
- 10:16Speaker 2: And they did it with a straight face on TV.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Listen.
- 10:20Speaker 3: And of course the election is not going to be
- 10:22Speaker 3: held today, but if it were, this poll shows it
- 10:25Speaker 3: would be a dead heat between Biden and every Republican
- 10:29Speaker 3: candidate except one.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Tell us about that, and that one is former South
- 10:34Speaker 4: Carolina governor Nikki Haley. Look at these numbers here, forty
- 10:39Speaker 4: nine percent to forty three percent. She's the only candidate
- 10:42Speaker 4: outside the margin of error, the only candidate against the
- 10:46Speaker 4: president in this hypothetical head to head matchup, and she's
- 10:49Speaker 4: been talking about this on the campaign trail extensively. That
- 10:52Speaker 4: is because of educated, college educated voters and women voters
- 10:56Speaker 4: are making up that difference.
- 10:57Speaker 5: In margin there. But if you look across the board here,
- 11:00Speaker 5: there's no clear leader. It's within the margin.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Of era of But by the way, I love how
- 11:05Speaker 1: they call it within the margin of era, like that's
- 11:07Speaker 1: some new shocking thing now, right, Like, oh, that's in
- 11:10Speaker 1: the margin of er. So so the data really doesn't matter.
- 11:13Speaker 1: You're undermining your own poll because you don't want to
- 11:16Speaker 1: admit that. On the damn screen, it says Donald Trump
- 11:20Speaker 1: beats Joe Biden forty seven forty six.
- 11:22Speaker 2: No, instead you go to Nicky Haley.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Nicky Hayley they claim would beat Joe Biden forty nine
- 11:28Speaker 1: forty three. Then it's Donald Trump beating Joe Biden forty
- 11:33Speaker 1: seven forty six. Then after that, DeSantis tied exactly at
- 11:37Speaker 1: forty seven forty seven. Mike Pence is forty six forty four,
- 11:41Speaker 1: So even Mike Pence has an interesting number here. Then
- 11:45Speaker 1: it's Tim Scott forty six forty four, the Viviic forty
- 11:49Speaker 1: five forty six, meaning he would actually lose that race.
- 11:52Speaker 2: So these are just some of the numbers here.
- 11:54Speaker 1: But no, no, they're not going to tell you that
- 11:56Speaker 1: right because they don't want to admit that Donald Trump
- 11:59Speaker 1: would beat Joe.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Biden right now.
- 12:01Speaker 1: No, they want you to believe that you should switch
- 12:02Speaker 1: your vote for Nicky Hayley.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Every single potential candidate.
- 12:07Speaker 4: And that is why this is a potential a worrist
- 12:10Speaker 4: spot for the President for his team. Of course, he
- 12:13Speaker 4: is well known, he has the biggest megaphone of anyone.
- 12:16Speaker 5: But Jake, one thing is clear.
- 12:18Speaker 4: We are in a very divided country this election. There
- 12:21Speaker 4: should be a reality check. It will be very close
- 12:24Speaker 4: as all of them have been recently, but certainly this
- 12:26Speaker 4: one will be as well.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Jake, Right, So here's my thing. The reality check is
- 12:31Speaker 1: what everything stays the same? Like, that's what san n
- 12:34Speaker 1: should say. Hey, it's very tight, like the last election,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and like the election before that, and the election before that,
- 12:42Speaker 1: and the election before that and the election before that.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Like this idea that this is somehow like shocking numbers,
- 12:49Speaker 1: it really isn't shocking numbers. Also, something else with these
- 12:54Speaker 1: new poll numbers that are out right now that I
- 12:56Speaker 1: think you need to know about is Vice President Harris
- 12:59Speaker 1: did an enter you and what she said? And this
- 13:02Speaker 1: is a weird, odd, strange thing to say for a
- 13:05Speaker 1: vice president unless you maybe know something that we don't know.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Vice President Kamala Harris has come out saying this about Republicans,
- 13:14Speaker 1: that Republicans are attacking her.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Because they're scared that she will win.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Why I didn't know you were on the ballot running
- 13:20Speaker 1: for Listen carefully, So.
- 13:22Speaker 7: You're fifty eight now. If you win a second term,
- 13:26Speaker 7: as you and the President are running to do, he
- 13:30Speaker 7: would be eighty six at the end of it. And
- 13:32Speaker 7: we are seeing Republican candidates hone in on you, in
- 13:37Speaker 7: particular as being next up for that job. Nikki Haley says,
- 13:41Speaker 7: a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for president Harris.
- 13:44Speaker 7: Chris Christy, I want to be clear that I pray
- 13:46Speaker 7: every night for Joe Biden's good health, not only because
- 13:49Speaker 7: he's our president, but because of who our vice president is,
- 13:51Speaker 7: Ron DeSantis. Harris is Biden's impeachment insurance. People know if
- 13:55Speaker 7: she were president, batter the doors as bad as Biden did,
- 13:59Speaker 7: it would get work. How do you respond to all
- 14:01Speaker 7: of that?
- 14:04Speaker 6: We are delivering for the American people, and the reality
- 14:09Speaker 6: of it is that, unfortunately, very few of those who
- 14:14Speaker 6: challenge our administration actually have a plan for America. You
- 14:19Speaker 6: look at what we have accomplished, Margaret. We have created
- 14:22Speaker 6: over eight hundred thousand new manufacturing jobs in America, thirteen
- 14:26Speaker 6: million new jobs. Unemployment at record lows. We have kepped
- 14:30Speaker 6: the cost of insulin.
- 14:32Speaker 2: By the way, unemployment is not at record lows.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You, psycho, this is the part of the propaganda that
- 14:38Speaker 1: makes me mad. She just gets to literally look at you,
- 14:42Speaker 1: lie to your face, make crap up and facinations like
- 14:45Speaker 1: oh yes, please lie to the American people. Please keep
- 14:48Speaker 1: lying about all these accomplishments that are not accomplishments that
- 14:51Speaker 1: you're trying to say you've done that you clearly haven't done.
- 14:56Speaker 1: That's the part here that drives me totally insane. She
- 15:00Speaker 1: just lied and said we have historically low unemployment. That's
- 15:03Speaker 1: a lie. It's not historically low, is it? Is it
- 15:06Speaker 1: high right now?
- 15:07Speaker 2: No?
- 15:07Speaker 1: Not necessarily? Is it low right now? Also no, not
- 15:10Speaker 1: necessarily when you talk about the lowest unemployment rates for minorities,
- 15:14Speaker 1: which remember she's a minority. Who's the guy, the only guy,
- 15:18Speaker 1: the only person can say they have the lowest unemployment
- 15:20Speaker 1: rate in history for African American, Asian Americans and Hispanic Americans,
- 15:23Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump, that's the only person that can say it, period.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'll say it one more time. That's the only person
- 15:32Speaker 1: that can say it.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Period. So she's sitting there.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Trying to claim that all these amazing things that are
- 15:40Speaker 1: happening or that have happened in the past, somehow they
- 15:43Speaker 1: should get credit for now. This country is not thriving
- 15:47Speaker 1: right now. Bidenomics is not a thing that's working right now.
- 15:52Speaker 2: She knows it.
- 15:54Speaker 1: One other person that knows it's the person doing the
- 15:56Speaker 1: damn interview, right Like the person doing the interview too.
- 16:01Speaker 1: And the person that's doing that interview, Okay, the person
- 16:04Speaker 1: that's doing the interview that you just heard, she could
- 16:06Speaker 1: have corrected it. And she knows she could have corrected it.
- 16:09Speaker 1: She knows she could have said, this isn't real. She
- 16:12Speaker 1: knows she could have said it's not accurate. She knows
- 16:15Speaker 1: that she could have said that this is well, hold on,
- 16:19Speaker 1: that's not accurate, ma'am. I like, you can't claim that
- 16:22Speaker 1: things are the best they've ever been when clearly they're
- 16:24Speaker 1: not the best they've ever been. But no, no, no, the
- 16:27Speaker 1: propagandists they let it keep rolling here because they understand
- 16:31Speaker 1: how vulnerable Harris is and how vulnerable Biden is. They
- 16:35Speaker 1: understand how bad the economy is, they understand how bad
- 16:39Speaker 1: inflation is, they understand how bad interest rates are. So
- 16:41Speaker 1: they're just gonna lie to you. And by the way,
- 16:43Speaker 1: if you do want to vote for a Republican, they're
- 16:45Speaker 1: gonna convince you that Nicky Haley's the one you should pick.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Give me a break.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Let me just by the way, I also tell you
- 16:55Speaker 1: about another story real quick that definitely relates to this,
- 16:58Speaker 1: just type of just pure shady corruption in the media.
- 17:02Speaker 1: You may not even know this story, so I want
- 17:05Speaker 1: you to know about it.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Hey, there is a Democratic Center. Ed Murkie he's a Democrat,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and this week he blocked Senator JD. Vance's he's a Republican,
- 17:16Speaker 1: as you know from Ohio, after the Republican tried to
- 17:20Speaker 1: pass the quote Freedom to Breathe Act by unanimous consent.
- 17:25Speaker 1: The act would essentially ban federal mask mandates from the
- 17:29Speaker 1: federal government. Didn't say local or state, but federally.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Quote.
- 17:33Speaker 1: We tried mass mandates once in this country. They failed
- 17:35Speaker 1: to control the spread of respiratory viruses. It also violated
- 17:39Speaker 1: basic bodily freedom and set our fellow citizens against one another.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Vance in a statement after initially introducing the legislation, Now,
- 17:47Speaker 1: by the way, I love how Democrats have no problem
- 17:49Speaker 1: screaming my body by choice when it comes to murdering
- 17:51Speaker 1: a child, but when it comes to a mass they're like, Nope,
- 17:55Speaker 1: not your body, not your choice.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Put the damn thing on. Jeddie.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Vance went on to say that the legislation quote would
- 18:02Speaker 1: ensure that no federal bureaucracy, no commercial airline, and no
- 18:06Speaker 1: public school can impose the misguided policies of the past.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Right because we have data now we know that the
- 18:12Speaker 1: mass didn't work. Democrats say they're not going to bring
- 18:17Speaker 1: back mass mandates. They say they're going to hold them,
- 18:21Speaker 1: you know, for the future. And and and they also say, hey,
- 18:23Speaker 1: we're not going to do these sayings, so don't worry
- 18:25Speaker 1: about it.
- 18:26Speaker 2: You don't need to ban them.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yes, they will, I promise you they will. They're going
- 18:29Speaker 1: to do it again. You need to know they're going
- 18:30Speaker 1: to do it again. They're going to do it again.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I heay, They're going to do it again. They're gonna
- 18:33Speaker 1: do it again. Get ready for it now. Vance try
- 18:36Speaker 1: to pass the legislation. The and the upper chamber the
- 18:39Speaker 1: Senate by anams consent, but Senator Marquis blocked it, asserting
- 18:44Speaker 1: that it would hamstring These are his words, public health experts.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I don't think they're experts anymore. I think their public
- 18:51Speaker 1: health idiots are dumba's who guided our nation out of
- 18:55Speaker 1: the darkest days of the pandemic. Did they like? Did
- 18:58Speaker 1: they really? Because they got it wrong on so many
- 19:01Speaker 1: different levels. They got it wrong on the six you
- 19:03Speaker 1: know that, the spacing. They got it wrong, on the occupancy,
- 19:07Speaker 1: they got it wrong on the masks, mandates. They got
- 19:09Speaker 1: it wrong on the COVID vaccine. Say, if you got
- 19:11Speaker 1: the vaccine, you wouldn't get COVID. Remember all those experts.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It sound like a bunch of dumb as to me,
- 19:17Speaker 1: the same experts who pushed masks which have been proven
- 19:19Speaker 1: to be relatively ineffective, as well as vaccines which neither
- 19:23Speaker 1: prevent transmission of the virus. I know a bunch of
- 19:25Speaker 1: people have gotten COVID after getting the vaccine. It didn't,
- 19:29Speaker 1: by the way, prevent anyone from contracting the disease from
- 19:33Speaker 1: one another either. So all of the things they promised us, right,
- 19:36Speaker 1: the health experts, it actually didn't happen.
- 19:41Speaker 2: So let me give you this Vance said quote. He
- 19:44Speaker 2: the message for the.
- 19:46Speaker 1: American people, and let's learn the lessons of the past
- 19:49Speaker 1: couple of years. Mandatory masking was a failure. It had
- 19:54Speaker 1: costs for very little benefit, and we shouldn't repeat it.
- 20:00Speaker 1: As if in legislative session, I asked unanimous consent that
- 20:04Speaker 1: the Senate proceed to immediately consider Senate Bill twenty seven
- 20:08Speaker 1: thirty eight, the Freedom to Breathe Act, which is at desk.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Vince That went on to say, he said further that
- 20:15Speaker 1: the bill be considered read a third time in past,
- 20:17Speaker 1: and the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid
- 20:20Speaker 1: upon the table with no intervening action or debate, he added,
- 20:24Speaker 1: prompting a rejection from the Democratic senator Mark you, who
- 20:28Speaker 1: doesn't believe that you have the right to say no
- 20:29Speaker 1: to masks?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Right?
- 20:31Speaker 1: This, I mean, this bill would undermine the ability of states,
- 20:33Speaker 1: he went on to say, in cities and towns across
- 20:36Speaker 1: the country to make decisions about what's best for the
- 20:39Speaker 1: communities with silence and hamstring public health experts who have
- 20:43Speaker 1: guided our nation out of the darkest days of the
- 20:45Speaker 1: pandemic that has killed This is his numbers, one point
- 20:48Speaker 1: one three to nine million people in our country in
- 20:51Speaker 1: three years. I'm not sure those numbers are accurate, but hey,
- 20:54Speaker 1: who cares. Let's go back to fear mongering because it's
- 20:56Speaker 1: way more funny, more fun right, then, this liberal center
- 21:01Speaker 1: said again, quote, let me repeat that this disease is
- 21:04Speaker 1: killed one point one three nine million people are ready,
- 21:06Speaker 1: and doctors' experts are saying that COVID is coming back. Wow,
- 21:11Speaker 1: at least he's admitting that, right, the experts are back.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Oh it's coming back, folks. You gotta get vaccated, you
- 21:17Speaker 1: better hurry up and do it. You gotta wear a
- 21:19Speaker 1: mask everywhere. It's on the rise again. Fear mongering is
- 21:24Speaker 1: back in full force.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Senator j.
- 21:26Speaker 1: D Vance after the Dems block has built a ban
- 21:29Speaker 1: federal mask mandates. He said this, and I agree with him.
- 21:33Speaker 1: By the way, listen carefully, I'll be.
- 21:35Speaker 8: Thrown off an airplane because they refuse to wear a mask.
- 21:38Speaker 8: Freedom is fundamentally about respecting that you might have a
- 21:41Speaker 8: different view than I do, respecting that, accepting it, and
- 21:45Speaker 8: not using government mandates to force our fellow citizens to
- 21:48Speaker 8: do exactly what we want them to do, but to
- 21:51Speaker 8: let us all figure.
- 21:52Speaker 5: This out together.
- 21:53Speaker 8: The final point that I'll make here is I heard
- 21:55Speaker 8: some pretty alarming rhetoric from my friend on the other
- 21:58Speaker 8: side of the aisle. We are about to have some
- 22:01Speaker 8: serious respiratory problems. We always do in the fall, and
- 22:04Speaker 8: maybe it will be worse this fall, in this winter
- 22:07Speaker 8: than before. But I think that what our children most
- 22:10Speaker 8: of all need, and I'm the father of three kids
- 22:12Speaker 8: under the age of seven, they need us to not
- 22:14Speaker 8: be chicken little about every single respiratory pandemic and probably
- 22:18Speaker 8: confronts this country. We are going to have people who
- 22:22Speaker 8: get sick from viruses. It has always been thus, and
- 22:26Speaker 8: the way to respond to it is with calmness, resolve,
- 22:29Speaker 8: and strategic thinking, not by pretending the world is ending.
- 22:33Speaker 8: Because what has always happened is going to happen once again.
- 22:36Speaker 8: We cannot repeat the anxiety, the stress, and the non
- 22:42Speaker 8: stop panic of the last couple of years. That's what
- 22:45Speaker 8: this legislation is about. In the mandates, in the panic.
- 22:49Speaker 8: And let's get back to some common sense. I can't
- 22:52Speaker 8: disagree with anything that Van said there.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Right, if we have freedom, it's fundamentally about respecting that
- 22:57Speaker 1: you might have a different view than I do. Remember
- 23:00Speaker 1: the mask, anybody can wear the damn mask, right, Fauci
- 23:05Speaker 1: masks didn't work for the broad population, we know that,
- 23:09Speaker 1: but for the on an individual basis, there is an advantage.
- 23:12Speaker 2: He said. That's I mean that he's even admitting it now.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Marky's warning comes to study show masks proved to be ineffective.
- 23:20Speaker 2: This is an administration admission. I should say that was
- 23:24Speaker 2: made by Fauci himself.
- 23:26Speaker 1: In early twenty twenty, he privately admitted that the quote
- 23:29Speaker 1: typical mask you buy in the drug store is not
- 23:36Speaker 1: really effective in keeping out viruses which is small enough
- 23:40Speaker 1: to pass through the material. Those are the exact words
- 23:43Speaker 1: of doctor Anthony Fauci. I'm so sick of this, right,
- 23:49Speaker 1: But what is the White House saying, and you can
- 23:51Speaker 1: tell this is a mantra that's coming right, the White
- 23:53Speaker 1: House saying Biden's gonna be wearing a mask indoors again.
- 23:56Speaker 9: President Biden tested negative last night for COVID nineteen and
- 23:59Speaker 9: tested negative again today. He's not experiencing any symptoms as
- 24:04Speaker 9: far as the steps he is taking. Since the President
- 24:07Speaker 9: was with the First Lady yesterday, he will be masking
- 24:10Speaker 9: while indoors and around people, in alignment with CDC guidance,
- 24:15Speaker 9: and as as has been the practice in the past,
- 24:18Speaker 9: the President will remove his mask when sufficiently distanced from
- 24:22Speaker 9: others indoors and while outside as well.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I mean, they're bringing it back, no matter what, no
- 24:29Speaker 1: matter what you say, no matter what you do, They're
- 24:31Speaker 1: bringing it back. They're going to bring it back. They've
- 24:33Speaker 1: got to bring it back. We've got to have COVID, folks,
- 24:35Speaker 1: we got.
- 24:35Speaker 2: To have it.
- 24:36Speaker 1: We needed to control you. We must make sure that
- 24:39Speaker 1: this happens. And no, you don't have the freedom to
- 24:42Speaker 1: breathe right now. We're not going to let that happen.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Center Cruz, by the way, said something that was very
- 24:49Speaker 1: interesting on the podcast I Do with Him, Verdict with
- 24:52Speaker 1: Center Ted Cruz. He predicted that the most deadly coronavirus
- 24:56Speaker 1: variant will happen ahead of the election. It's gonna be
- 24:59Speaker 1: what he refers to as the election variant. He says
- 25:03Speaker 1: coronavirus restrictions should come roaring back as election day draws closer. Right,
- 25:08Speaker 1: that's what's gonna happen, is gonna come roaring back. He said,
- 25:11Speaker 1: the most deadly coronavirus variant could emerge a year from
- 25:14Speaker 1: now ahead of the election, the election variant.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Look, this is totally absurd.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Mass mandates are wrong, and for the left, this has
- 25:21Speaker 1: become it's a combination of a number of things. He
- 25:25Speaker 1: said this on his podcast Download Vertic with Take Careers.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Wherever you get your podcast, you can hear this. He said,
- 25:30Speaker 1: Number one, it's an article of faith. Number two, it's
- 25:34Speaker 1: a virtue signal. It shows just how self righteous they
- 25:38Speaker 1: think they are, noting that he recently witnessed a very
- 25:41Speaker 1: prominent Democratic center walking the halls of the Capitol with
- 25:44Speaker 1: an N ninety five mask on alongside his staffer. Further,
- 25:48Speaker 1: Cruse said that these rules are about controlling people, whether
- 25:51Speaker 1: it's mass mandates, whether it's vaccine mandates, whether it's having
- 25:54Speaker 1: the four hundred and thirty seventh booster shot. Enough is
- 25:58Speaker 1: enough that the left scheme is only going to become
- 26:02Speaker 1: more apparent as the election draws closer. He said, by
- 26:05Speaker 1: the way a year form now, we're going to see
- 26:07Speaker 1: the most deadly COVID variant ever seeing the election variant.
- 26:11Speaker 1: And before the election, they're going to need to shut
- 26:14Speaker 1: everything down because they want to have mail in balloting
- 26:17Speaker 1: for everyone because they think it helps elect Democrats, Cruse predicted.
- 26:21Speaker 2: He said, enough is enough.
- 26:23Speaker 1: If you want to wear a damn mask, fine, but
- 26:25Speaker 1: don't be a hypocrite and don't try to force other
- 26:27Speaker 1: people to do it. Cruse also responded to doctor Fauci's
- 26:31Speaker 1: attempt to explain away studies that show mass are not
- 26:34Speaker 1: very effective. Fauci himself knows what he's saying is wrong,
- 26:40Speaker 1: Cruse said, pointing to the infamous February the fifth, twenty
- 26:43Speaker 1: twenty email penned by the former Secretary of Health and
- 26:45Speaker 1: Human Services, which he told her the typical mask you
- 26:49Speaker 1: buy in the drug story is not really effective in
- 26:52Speaker 1: keeping out virus which is small enough to pass through
- 26:55Speaker 1: the material. They decide that it was politically beneficial to
- 26:59Speaker 1: mandate that everyone had to wear a mask. Crew Is continued,
- 27:01Speaker 1: warning that Democrats want to shut everything down again. Look,
- 27:06Speaker 1: the Democrats want to shut it down. They want to
- 27:08Speaker 1: impose mandates. And I got to say one of the
- 27:10Speaker 1: biggest lies of the exchange is that I that I
- 27:13Speaker 1: would listen to the scientists, right the only scientists that
- 27:16Speaker 1: he listens to are the ones who say what he
- 27:18Speaker 1: wants to hear.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Cruz went on to say, He's absolutely right. We are
- 27:22Speaker 2: at a.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Point now in this country, and I'm trying to get
- 27:27Speaker 1: you fired up to fight back because they are going
- 27:30Speaker 1: to absolutely come after you, and when they do, they're
- 27:33Speaker 1: going to come after your rights again, and they're going
- 27:35Speaker 1: to shut down your businesses again, and they're going to
- 27:37Speaker 1: do everything they can to silence you in the future
- 27:39Speaker 1: on all of these issues. It's going to happen. You
- 27:42Speaker 1: need to understand that it is going to happen. You
- 27:45Speaker 1: need to understand why they're going to do it, the
- 27:47Speaker 1: reason why they're going to do it. You need to
- 27:49Speaker 1: understand that they are trying to control you again, and
- 27:52Speaker 1: we know how this ends, so we have to be
- 27:54Speaker 1: better prepared because this time you can't say you didn't
- 27:57Speaker 1: know what was coming. This time, you can't say you
- 27:59Speaker 1: did and understand that it was going to happen. This time,
- 28:02Speaker 1: it's not new. It's the same damn thing. They're doing
- 28:05Speaker 1: it all over again, and that's the part that needs
- 28:08Speaker 1: that that needs to be discussed. If we don't stand
- 28:12Speaker 1: up to them, now, will we ever? All right, make
