- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn you to turn turn to you love
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn out to turn want come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your thing at it? Uh huh I sure, well
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only. It is Steve Harvey. Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I got a radio show. Okay, this is timely for everybody.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm sure. Um. I want to offer you all or
- 2:24Speaker 1: some encouragement because everybody needed. Let me tell you something. Uh.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You strike out on your goals, You strike out on
- 2:37Speaker 1: your aspirations. You get headed out on the course to
- 2:41Speaker 1: fulfill your dreams. You strike out on a mission to
- 2:45Speaker 1: get it accomplished. You have resolutions, you decide that this
- 2:50Speaker 1: is what it's going to be, and so you strike
- 2:53Speaker 1: out all in it, all engines blasting full force straight ahead,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and then it happens as it happens to all of us.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Here it comes a setback. Here, it comes something pop up, man.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Here it comes the unexpected all out of nowhere man
- 3:26Speaker 1: or hater, just something that that, really, man, is undescribable
- 3:34Speaker 1: to you because you're just going along, you're what you
- 3:36Speaker 1: thought was your merry way, and here it comes life.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Life just hits one of them bad notes, as it
- 3:47Speaker 1: always does, as it always does for all of us,
- 3:52Speaker 1: for everybody. Now when those bad notes happen, when it
- 4:00Speaker 1: has come out of nowhere, when the setback comes up,
- 4:03Speaker 1: when the when the out of nowhere appears, when now
- 4:07Speaker 1: I didn't see that coming comes. Here's here's what you
- 4:14Speaker 1: have to do. Here is the thing that I have
- 4:18Speaker 1: been teaching myself for years that I used to not
- 4:24Speaker 1: always understand. So I'm trying to give it to you.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You have to be encouraged anyway. Now that's difficult, okay, Steve,
- 4:34Speaker 1: what you're talking about. You just told me all this
- 4:37Speaker 1: discouraging stuff that can happen, and you said you got
- 4:40Speaker 1: to be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man, you have to because
- 4:47Speaker 1: what's happening to you right now, the thing that you're
- 4:51Speaker 1: going through right now, the thing that everybody's going through
- 4:55Speaker 1: right now. Ain't nobody on smooth sailing, man. Everybody got something,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and if they, if they don't smooth selling, just notice
- 5:02Speaker 1: is coming. There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody. It's just
- 5:06Speaker 1: that this is life. This is how it happens everybody,
- 5:10Speaker 1: So please stop stop getting on the old woe is
- 5:12Speaker 1: Me bandwagon? Old Lord? Why met, old lord? Something always
- 5:17Speaker 1: happened to me, something always happens to everybody. But here's
- 5:23Speaker 1: what you got to do. When you get in moments
- 5:25Speaker 1: like this, you got to be encouraged. You got to
- 5:28Speaker 1: remember in those times, in those times when it's going wrong,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you got to remember all that you've been through. You
- 5:39Speaker 1: got to remember all that you've come through. You have
- 5:45Speaker 1: to remember those other times when you felt like this
- 5:48Speaker 1: and somehow, unexplainably you don't even really stop to say
- 5:53Speaker 1: nothing about it. It just changed for you. And the
- 5:57Speaker 1: problem that was is no more. And the situation that
- 6:01Speaker 1: seems so insurmountable, you got over it, You got around it,
- 6:08Speaker 1: You got over it. Sometimes you just got to slide
- 6:12Speaker 1: right under it. Sometimes you got to plow through it.
- 6:18Speaker 1: But in those times when it's discouraging for you, when
- 6:23Speaker 1: you feel like giving up. Those are the tests. Those
- 6:28Speaker 1: are the moments that will determine whether we make it
- 6:34Speaker 1: or not. I'll tell you one thing for sure. If
- 6:37Speaker 1: you give up in these moments, right here here is
- 6:40Speaker 1: a foreshow you'll never make it. That's that's that's that's
- 6:45Speaker 1: that's unquestionably the deal. If you give up in these
- 6:49Speaker 1: dark times, if you give up in these what you
- 6:52Speaker 1: think is insurmountable moments, if you turn back, now here
- 6:58Speaker 1: is the one thousand sent for shure, you ain't gonna
- 7:01Speaker 1: make it. But there's a bright side to this situation.
- 7:07Speaker 1: If you keep your head down, if you keep forging,
- 7:12Speaker 1: if you keep pressing on sometimes, if you just stand
- 7:16Speaker 1: there and sometimes get knocked to your knees. But if
- 7:19Speaker 1: you stay in that place, if you just stay there
- 7:23Speaker 1: and ride the storm out, my head is bloodied but unbowed.
- 7:29Speaker 1: If you can just stay there, if you consider in
- 7:34Speaker 1: that moment and ride it out, you will win. You
- 7:44Speaker 1: will win, You will pass the test, and you will
- 7:47Speaker 1: get to move on to the next level. But there
- 7:51Speaker 1: is no next level without a test. You can't get
- 7:55Speaker 1: to grade six without passing grade five. You can't be
- 8:00Speaker 1: a senior without first being a junior. You can't graduate
- 8:06Speaker 1: without fulfilling the hours and requirements. You see, I don't
- 8:10Speaker 1: care what you do in life. Look at it. It's
- 8:13Speaker 1: all set up on levels. But you've got to accomplish
- 8:17Speaker 1: the thing before in order to get to the next level.
- 8:20Speaker 1: And when you've made those level accomplishments, you get to
- 8:24Speaker 1: graduate that you can go on to get the masters
- 8:26Speaker 1: in a PhD. You can go on and become rich.
- 8:29Speaker 1: You can go become wealthy, or you can go or
- 8:32Speaker 1: you can go somewhere and think yourself in another set
- 8:34Speaker 1: of circumstances. But you got to go through something to
- 8:37Speaker 1: get to something. There ain't nothing free. So you can
- 8:41Speaker 1: stop that notion about being successful that is easy. Come on, man,
- 8:45Speaker 1: if it was easy, what what what we are? What
- 8:48Speaker 1: we're talking about? It is not easy. Stop thinking it is.
- 8:53Speaker 1: It is difficult. But I'll tell you what's even more
- 8:56Speaker 1: difficult than becoming successful. You want to know what that is?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Try not being successful your whole life. That's hard. You
- 9:06Speaker 1: are listening to a person who has done them both
- 9:12Speaker 1: been successful and really really been not successful. And I
- 9:17Speaker 1: got news for you. Both of them hard, But I
- 9:21Speaker 1: would rather deal with what it is to be something,
- 9:24Speaker 1: to make something out of myself, to force myself to
- 9:27Speaker 1: go to work when I don't feel like it. This
- 9:29Speaker 1: morning was a rough get up for me, but I
- 9:33Speaker 1: got up and I said thank you anyway, never give up.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And I don't watch this dude too. He even mess
- 9:38Speaker 1: around and got close to me because he just never
- 9:41Speaker 1: gave up. You can, You can never ever give up. Never.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It's not an option. Giving up cannot be an option
- 9:50Speaker 1: for you. You cannot do that. You it's it's out
- 9:54Speaker 1: of the question. It's ain't conceivable in your mind to quit,
- 9:58Speaker 1: because to quit it's to what what you get when
- 10:01Speaker 1: you quit? Nothing That is a reward for those who
- 10:06Speaker 1: hang in there, who never give up, who forged through,
- 10:10Speaker 1: who see it through, who get knocked down and get
- 10:13Speaker 1: back up, who gets trampled but somehow gathers themselves and
- 10:16Speaker 1: get back to your knees. But stay in that place, man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't ever give up. Don't let go be encouraged. Think
- 10:24Speaker 1: of all you've been through, Think of all you come through,
- 10:26Speaker 1: Think of all he's done for you. Think of all
- 10:29Speaker 1: the times you thought you wasn't gonna make it, But somehow,
- 10:32Speaker 1: without you ever even saying thank you, he got through
- 10:35Speaker 1: He got you through it anyway. That's that thing called grace.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Now we kind of need that in our life. All
- 10:41Speaker 1: all I need is a little more grace. You can't
- 10:45Speaker 1: give God no money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It's available to everybody. But you can't get none if
- 10:52Speaker 1: you quit. Don't give up. I'll just tell you that
- 10:55Speaker 1: flat out. Don't ever give up. You're listening to show,
- 11:01Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Here we are the Steve Harvey Marty
- 11:04Speaker 1: Show us in full effect on this very very It's
- 11:07Speaker 1: a blessed Monday morning. Glad to be here. Glad I'm alive,
- 11:11Speaker 1: Glad I woke up this morning. Glad I'm safe. Glad
- 11:15Speaker 1: I have a measure of health. Whatever you're healthy is
- 11:18Speaker 1: if you're listening. You got some uh And I'm excited man,
- 11:22Speaker 1: about the opportunities in front of me today. So let's
- 11:24Speaker 1: get the started. Shirley straw Bed, Welcome back to Steve Tommy.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Good morning to you guys. Callin Forrell and Junior are
- 11:32Speaker 1: not here today. They're recovering from the Perry Rowt Prairie
- 11:39Speaker 1: Prairie View Reunion. The full Yeah, they full, you mean
- 11:47Speaker 1: the homecoming? Oh all right, let's celebrate. They could do that. Okay,
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's good to sell. It's real good. Yo. What's there?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Still mean? Ain't nothing changed? Still hateful? Still hate everything,
- 12:08Speaker 1: Still that bitter man about a damn thing? Still nothing?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Tom and Tom? Yes, so rejuvenated, baby, I'm here. Okay,
- 12:24Speaker 1: So let's get this straight. You needed you needed to
- 12:27Speaker 1: take some time off to rejuvenate. I'm not understand. I'm
- 12:33Speaker 1: not understanding. It was one show, right, Am I wrong
- 12:36Speaker 1: on that? Oh? It ain't dude show. I just needed
- 12:39Speaker 1: to rejuvenate. What yeah? What that's my man, my body
- 12:44Speaker 1: and soul one show? You only got one? Okay, okay,
- 12:51Speaker 1: yeah that's just what? Okay? What was wrong? Why did
- 12:54Speaker 1: your mind, body and soul need rejuvenating? And that's what
- 12:57Speaker 1: we can just you know, just not used to this this,
- 13:02Speaker 1: you know, trying to catch the rhythm of it, understand
- 13:06Speaker 1: it the dudes, and don't what. I can't say no more,
- 13:09Speaker 1: where I can't do, no more, where I can't go
- 13:11Speaker 1: no more. I'm so I just trying to get to
- 13:22Speaker 1: I can't okay, Um, questions, no, no, Just listens to Steve.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I'll get back to you in a second or I
- 13:31Speaker 1: probably don't have to actually um persecution. Yeah, Steve, Okay,
- 13:37Speaker 1: let me get this straight. You have at least eight
- 13:41Speaker 1: at least at least I don't recall a moment, a day,
- 13:46Speaker 1: an hour, just a period of time in recent history,
- 13:49Speaker 1: since you've had these shows that you had to take
- 13:52Speaker 1: um like how many days was it? Like Tommy has
- 13:54Speaker 1: been going like yeah, holds like seven eight days, juvenate stop. Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: he had to rejuvenate and stop that. So what happens
- 14:05Speaker 1: is if you don't have the wherewithal and the capacity
- 14:10Speaker 1: for it, it can be a bit overwhelming. And I
- 14:15Speaker 1: just think that we could be facing something. And we'll
- 14:17Speaker 1: find out throughout this morning, But is it overwhelming this
- 14:21Speaker 1: newfound successful to Alright? Come when we come back, we'll
- 14:30Speaker 1: continue this conversation about is this all too much for
- 14:33Speaker 1: Tommy with yeah, yeah, yeah, and then we'll find out
- 14:37Speaker 1: what we did over the weekend that's coming up. We'll
- 14:39Speaker 1: be back at thirty two after the hour. Right after this,
- 14:43Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Morning Show. Alright, So before we
- 14:48Speaker 1: left off, we went to break. We're just getting here.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Good morning everyone, the cruise here, Good morning Carla Junior
- 14:55Speaker 1: off today, Yeah, celebrating Prairie Views home Coming. And then
- 15:01Speaker 1: Carla was a guest speaker at a breast cancer awareness
- 15:03Speaker 1: dinner for breast cancer survivors last night in Houston. So
- 15:06Speaker 1: she has the day off. Yes, yes, and uh so Okay,
- 15:10Speaker 1: before we left off, Steve, I had asked you a question, um,
- 15:14Speaker 1: because Tommy is just getting back off of a week
- 15:17Speaker 1: long vacation. Well not and uh well it was a
- 15:21Speaker 1: few days, however long it was. It was to rejuvenate
- 15:25Speaker 1: his mind speak exactly. He said he needed to do
- 15:28Speaker 1: that because because he has a show own own now
- 15:32Speaker 1: show Ready for Love, and between that and the radio show.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Uh and I told you all while he was gone,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I thought that this might be a little bit too
- 15:43Speaker 1: much for him. You said it, you, you did say it.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And then now I think that we just need to
- 15:49Speaker 1: find out is this too much? Is this overwhelming? Does
- 15:55Speaker 1: this warrant this type of behavior? You're just gonna pick wars?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Does he have to wear with? Does he have to
- 16:03Speaker 1: wear with? It's this overwhelming, this warrant, and that's this warrant,
- 16:12Speaker 1: the type of behavior that he has. I have to
- 16:15Speaker 1: where with all it ain't overwhelming, And don't nothing, I
- 16:20Speaker 1: ain't got no warrants. So I don't know what you're
- 16:22Speaker 1: talking about. Well, Tommy, a lot of times, man, when
- 16:26Speaker 1: you have this newfound success, it's just a lot of
- 16:30Speaker 1: unknown involved, and maybe you just have a lot of
- 16:33Speaker 1: unknown You have any questions, man, you want to ask
- 16:36Speaker 1: me anything? Because it was just one show. We got
- 16:38Speaker 1: to point that out. We can't get another one. I
- 16:44Speaker 1: got another one bruined though. Okay, so let me ask
- 16:46Speaker 1: you this. So what can I not do anymore? Miss works? Work?
- 16:55Speaker 1: About that? Take off? Everybody over here? Take off, take off.
- 17:00Speaker 1: There's a lot of people that took off. Take off,
- 17:04Speaker 1: you miss work, see taking off and not coming in
- 17:08Speaker 1: and telling us that you ain't coming today because it's
- 17:12Speaker 1: just too much. Well, I don't know. I need to
- 17:15Speaker 1: be off till it's time. You don't know until they here.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I mean, you don't know you're going through the where
- 17:22Speaker 1: we're haul until it's time. You, I mean, don't you
- 17:26Speaker 1: get that? Sometimes they hit you later and you're like, whoa,
- 17:30Speaker 1: I just this, whoa? This is the where with all
- 17:32Speaker 1: right here right? This is whoever? With all he was
- 17:36Speaker 1: talking about, have you ever thought, man, that maybe maybe
- 17:43Speaker 1: you should just push through and just go forward anyway?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Oh now there's a thought that. Okay, I pushed through
- 17:53Speaker 1: and called and said I wasn't coming. That's pushing through. No,
- 17:57Speaker 1: that's not pushing through, that's calling in. You just push
- 18:01Speaker 1: some buttons. If your behind me on this on what
- 18:06Speaker 1: I'm going through, oh no, not at all. A matter
- 18:09Speaker 1: of fact, I predicted this while you was gone. I
- 18:13Speaker 1: knew this thing. Well, I've been ads on me. Yeah yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: I said. They said, why do you think Tommy is
- 18:19Speaker 1: not coming in? I said, because I think it's too much? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I did say that. You said it. So now that
- 18:26Speaker 1: you've been off Tommy, Okay, let's just deal with that.
- 18:29Speaker 1: You're back with us now. Yes, So are you rejuvenated?
- 18:33Speaker 1: What does that feel like? Because you have more shows,
- 18:35Speaker 1: you have more in the in the TV season. I'm
- 18:38Speaker 1: ready to love you own tomorrow night again. So will
- 18:44Speaker 1: you be here Wednesday? Thursday? We don't know. I will
- 18:49Speaker 1: be here. I'm back. I just had to thank for
- 18:52Speaker 1: a minute and I'm back and I'm ready to work.
- 18:54Speaker 1: So I'm good. What while you weren't here, could I
- 18:56Speaker 1: ask what what did you think about? What are your thoughts? Now?
- 19:01Speaker 1: You know what, sometimes, Jake, you don't have a team times,
- 19:05Speaker 1: I just want them to want you to share with
- 19:07Speaker 1: them what you're going through, because that's what I'm doing.
- 19:09Speaker 1: We want to know this. Yeah, what were you thinking
- 19:12Speaker 1: I'm going through? I don't know what. I'm afraid to
- 19:16Speaker 1: do anything like what I mean, give me an example,
- 19:19Speaker 1: like you said, what can't you do anymore? Like you
- 19:22Speaker 1: was saying, like, it's like, it's certain things because you're
- 19:24Speaker 1: in a sponsorship driven business. Now your shows have sponsors
- 19:28Speaker 1: to it, and so there's certain things when you're sponsor
- 19:32Speaker 1: driven that you cannot say anymore. Right, Well, that's what
- 19:35Speaker 1: I've been quiet. I don't say nothing. I'm scared if
- 19:37Speaker 1: I say something, I A'm gonna say the wrong thing.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I don't want to mess nothing up, so I just
- 19:42Speaker 1: be quiet. And then they start feeling depressing. Yeah, well
- 19:46Speaker 1: you can't talking and saying whatever the hell I want
- 19:49Speaker 1: to say, and I can't say you think? I mean,
- 19:52Speaker 1: you can go back to that talking without thinking and
- 19:55Speaker 1: stuff like that. You can go, right, you have to think.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Now that's the ship you miss Let me get ready,
- 20:03Speaker 1: you missed talking and not thinking. You have to think. Now,
- 20:07Speaker 1: tell me, is that going to be a problem to
- 20:12Speaker 1: say whatever I want? To say that. I ain't I
- 20:16Speaker 1: say what I want to say. Now I'm over here, like, man,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm I'm damned if I do. Damn if I'm wanting.
- 20:21Speaker 1: You can't say nothing. What are you afraid you might
- 20:23Speaker 1: say something stupid? Well that's a given. Okay, let's see.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I'm trying not to and it's hard. I don't think
- 20:31Speaker 1: saying stupid stuff is what's gonna be the problem. I
- 20:35Speaker 1: don't think stupid I always used to be in my
- 20:37Speaker 1: favor noice not. You understand when I'm coming from. It's
- 20:41Speaker 1: never been in your you know what I'm saying that.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I don't know what you're saying. I don't know what
- 20:48Speaker 1: you're saying for twenty years. Well, Steve, just give him
- 20:50Speaker 1: some advice to take him through. I mean, because it's
- 20:54Speaker 1: just but he's got to talk on the show. Steve. Sure,
- 20:59Speaker 1: Like I said, it's some you want to boys, let's
- 21:02Speaker 1: do this. I said something. My boys just pay a
- 21:04Speaker 1: weekend and I want to. You know, I'm just being Tommy.
- 21:07Speaker 1: They're gonna tell me you can't say stuff like that,
- 21:10Speaker 1: that's just stupid. What did you say? I say? I
- 21:13Speaker 1: ain't going to nobody's funeral. Who ain't came to man.
- 21:18Speaker 1: How y'all feel when y'all get that, I feel like
- 21:21Speaker 1: your boys were right. They were spot one. One more time,
- 21:26Speaker 1: one more time. I ain't going to nobody's funeral. Who
- 21:30Speaker 1: ain't came to mind? That's coming up deck Church complaints
- 21:36Speaker 1: with Pastor Motown and deconjection right after you all to
- 21:44Speaker 1: say that in front of miss Old one time? Oh no,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I will not do right. You're listening to Steve Harvey show.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Al right, guys, coming up at the top of the
- 21:55Speaker 1: hour and all morning long, we're gonna talk about voting
- 21:59Speaker 1: and how it's time for this country to come together
- 22:02Speaker 1: before we get too deep into it. Though. It is Monday,
- 22:05Speaker 1: and it's time to make you laugh a little bit
- 22:07Speaker 1: with Reverend Motown and Dick and deaf jam with today's
- 22:11Speaker 1: church complaints right moves, huh, we on it about it,
- 22:27Speaker 1: done it. Yes, we need realized. We we is here,
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yes we church complaints. Let us begin right now, all right, past,
- 22:51Speaker 1: and we got an issue here the Halloween party planner
- 22:57Speaker 1: sister eyes that that's sister of that that's such a
- 23:00Speaker 1: dariest face. Uh is creating a huge problem. Past. She
- 23:07Speaker 1: says that the chicken wings, and this is for the
- 23:10Speaker 1: Hotoween party. The chicken wings will be orange from food die.
- 23:15Speaker 1: The hot dogs will be green, and the chili will
- 23:18Speaker 1: be purple. We don't think this is good for the kids,
- 23:21Speaker 1: she say. Only pastor can tell her what to do.
- 23:25Speaker 1: All right, Pastor, I'm like, you know, I'm not eating
- 23:27Speaker 1: no damn uh prepper chili. Well, she said that the
- 23:34Speaker 1: hot dogs is green. Now she said, the chicken wings
- 23:39Speaker 1: is orange and the hot dogs. Yeah, you're right, the
- 23:43Speaker 1: hot dogs are green and the chili is purple. Well,
- 23:48Speaker 1: I've had a wing before, okay, done? Or the Buffalo
- 23:54Speaker 1: place they had the scary that father green hot dog
- 24:03Speaker 1: that sounded like deaf and purple chili. You know, come
- 24:11Speaker 1: on now, it's to Halloween pass. There's too much perfectly
- 24:16Speaker 1: not a Halloween color. Neither is green. So tell her
- 24:24Speaker 1: that we need all these foods put back in the
- 24:29Speaker 1: regular colors, and she can do the decorative colors in
- 24:34Speaker 1: the candy. All right, But but she has green hot doves.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I have seen him, so I don't know how we're
- 24:41Speaker 1: gonna make them go back to the regulation. Well, she's
- 24:44Speaker 1: not serving them at this church, but we're about six
- 24:47Speaker 1: hundred hot dove and they are Why the hair would
- 24:50Speaker 1: you buy six hundred green hot dog? Deacon? Because we
- 24:54Speaker 1: got that mini cherry? You you didn't understand the course out.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'm saying, if we had that be any children, why
- 25:04Speaker 1: would you buy six hundred green hot dogs? If the
- 25:08Speaker 1: question I didn't do it, since the Doris did it,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and I'm just saying she got the money. And why
- 25:15Speaker 1: are you attacking me? Path take the hot dog down
- 25:18Speaker 1: there and trade them back here for regular hot dog.
- 25:22Speaker 1: So we don't want time cause Halloween ain't for a
- 25:26Speaker 1: corporate days, right, But what about the chili? If you
- 25:37Speaker 1: ain't got the hot dogs? What if the chili? For
- 25:48Speaker 1: I fixed this with sister doth hate don't even matter?
- 25:51Speaker 1: All right? I we have another issue. Brother, brother Boogie
- 25:56Speaker 1: Davis is back in rehab. He is now addicted to
- 26:01Speaker 1: California Brownies. He keeps flying out there eating these brownies.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I don't think he knows actual the pastor what's in
- 26:08Speaker 1: the brownie. He's asking that the church relocate him to
- 26:12Speaker 1: l A permanently. Well, no, no one this brother Buck,
- 26:19Speaker 1: Brother David, right, we're not I'm concerned about somebody being
- 26:25Speaker 1: addicted to weed or you can get off weed. To
- 26:29Speaker 1: my understand it, I don't know much about that, but
- 26:34Speaker 1: it ain't like opioids, hell and crack, cocaine, cocaine mall yeah,
- 26:43Speaker 1: all painkillers. You just ran down the whole time. You
- 26:47Speaker 1: can get you you you can be on weed and recover. Well,
- 26:52Speaker 1: he got these brownies and he keep eating them, and
- 26:54Speaker 1: that ain't doing good with his teeth either, So that
- 26:56Speaker 1: we have to Are we gonna try to help the
- 26:58Speaker 1: man because he in cavities with these brownies, but he
- 27:02Speaker 1: had You can't help everybody, dec We got other problems
- 27:08Speaker 1: with what I'm saw. Are you getting hot? Stopped getting hot?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Do you want us to do? Now? We got the
- 27:16Speaker 1: other thing to address him. Your junk head boy going
- 27:18Speaker 1: I eat me brownie out here in California. According to Cliff,
- 27:25Speaker 1: it ain't California no more. It's actually called California. That's
- 27:31Speaker 1: what brother Cliff saint. That's what brother Cliff said. It
- 27:35Speaker 1: ain't California's California. Alright, Well, I'm moving right along. I
- 27:44Speaker 1: need you to brace yourself past it, because you know
- 27:47Speaker 1: this it's gonna be a little different here. Okay, well
- 27:49Speaker 1: hold only okay, you know not of college is at BECU.
- 27:58Speaker 1: They're having their homecomings, but church home coming is this
- 28:02Speaker 1: coming weekend. We wanted you to be aware that all
- 28:07Speaker 1: your ex wives have registered and we'll be attending all
- 28:10Speaker 1: the events. Oh that's seven, ain't it? Path a sick Well,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm scheduled to preach this weekend in California as a matter,
- 28:30Speaker 1: so I won't be in any of these services. They
- 28:33Speaker 1: are more than welcome because God is forgiving. Even if
- 28:39Speaker 1: I ain't. What do you want us to do with that?
- 28:44Speaker 1: Give a damn what you do? I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Well,
- 28:50Speaker 1: I don't give a wretch. You can't say that either.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I don't give a flying That was a big one
- 29:01Speaker 1: right there. I wish you took flight with it past?
- 29:07Speaker 1: How come do just can't fund the words? No invited? There?
- 29:18Speaker 1: You can't without custing Huh? Are you gonna be able
- 29:26Speaker 1: to deliver any message out there? No? No, So I
- 29:29Speaker 1: won't even video with cord missage. No message for me
- 29:35Speaker 1: to give to these x Y because I'm the first
- 29:37Speaker 1: one they run to when they get here. I don't
- 29:43Speaker 1: I wish Why are they coming to yoke? Wait? Wait, now,
- 29:51Speaker 1: who do you know? What? Path that? That? That's all right?
- 29:56Speaker 1: We got hit. Here's another issue that's been grouped in
- 30:00Speaker 1: Thank you. We are asking that all the sisters whose
- 30:04Speaker 1: eyelashes are sticking out father than your nose to everybody.
- 30:11Speaker 1: We can't see your eyes and it puts a bad
- 30:14Speaker 1: look on the church path. Sister Abigails got caught in
- 30:22Speaker 1: her hat last week and she couldn't blink for the
- 30:27Speaker 1: entire so just dried out. We had to get her
- 30:34Speaker 1: to the hospital. All Right, all right, guys, it's time
- 30:40Speaker 1: for us to come together. We'll tell you what we
- 30:42Speaker 1: mean right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:48Speaker 1: All right, Steve, we gotta say it is time for
- 30:51Speaker 1: Americans to come together. Last week was such an unbelievable,
- 30:56Speaker 1: unbelievable week. We're a nation that is traumatized. Fourteen pipe
- 31:01Speaker 1: bomb mailing sent to prominent Democrats former presidents in CNN.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Thank god, the authorities arrested fifty six year old Caesar
- 31:09Speaker 1: uh Sayak and he is charged with five federal crimes.
- 31:13Speaker 1: The race targeted killings in Kentucky. Uh the white man
- 31:16Speaker 1: who killed two black people at a Louisiana, Louisville Kroger store. Um, yeah,
- 31:22Speaker 1: that was really awful. The suspect, his name was Gregory Bush,
- 31:26Speaker 1: killed Mr Maurice Stallard in front of the store, in
- 31:30Speaker 1: front of his twelve year old grandson. He killed him
- 31:33Speaker 1: in the store in front of his twelve year old grandson,
- 31:36Speaker 1: and then he killed Ms. Vicki Lee Jones in the
- 31:39Speaker 1: Kroger parking lot. I mean, this is terrible. We're just
- 31:43Speaker 1: also learning that the suspect, Gregory Bush, tried to enter
- 31:46Speaker 1: a Kentucky predominantly black church but the doors were locked
- 31:50Speaker 1: and he was unsuccessful. And the suspect told another white bystander,
- 31:54Speaker 1: whites don't kill whites. What what is And then yeah,
- 31:59Speaker 1: what is that? And then I mean this horrific killing
- 32:03Speaker 1: on Saturday, um uh man, the deadly shooting of eleven
- 32:09Speaker 1: people who were killed at a Pittsburgh synagogue, making it
- 32:13Speaker 1: the deadliest anti Semitic attack in US history. I mean,
- 32:17Speaker 1: just on and on and on this. You know, we're
- 32:20Speaker 1: in all is this a no, it's not a race war,
- 32:25Speaker 1: but we're in a you know, race has always played
- 32:29Speaker 1: a part in our country, in the development of the country,
- 32:34Speaker 1: in the growth of the country, and even where the
- 32:36Speaker 1: country is today. The denial of it doesn't help anything.
- 32:43Speaker 1: We have to deal and grapple with racism all the time.
- 32:47Speaker 1: And so it's it's tragic what has happened here because, um,
- 32:53Speaker 1: you know, we live in a time now man, where
- 32:56Speaker 1: it's people people do things man that are so a ocious.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I mean, now, America's has been filled with the atrocities.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong, Oh we've this country here can't
- 33:10Speaker 1: be proud of the many things that they allowed to occur.
- 33:16Speaker 1: And starting with slavery, lynch, just the the whole idea
- 33:22Speaker 1: of slavery alone was a diabolical scheme against people from
- 33:28Speaker 1: a foreign land. Uh. This antisemitic thing that's going on
- 33:33Speaker 1: has been going on by white supremacist groups and quite
- 33:38Speaker 1: supremacist organizations, whatever you want to call them, and and
- 33:43Speaker 1: and it just goes on too far. Why this man
- 33:45Speaker 1: feels that Jews should not be here, Why anybody feels
- 33:50Speaker 1: that blacks shouldn't be here, anybody who feels that they
- 33:56Speaker 1: can take Asian people's lives, whatever the case may be.
- 34:00Speaker 1: It's just a lot, man, It's just a lot. It's
- 34:03Speaker 1: a it's a horrible time. Now. This guy that delivered
- 34:07Speaker 1: the bombs, this right here, I'm sorry, but this right here,
- 34:15Speaker 1: this climate and who who he targeted was because of
- 34:20Speaker 1: the rhetoric that our president's views. You can directly make
- 34:27Speaker 1: that correlation. Everybody who's ever spoken out against Donald Trump
- 34:33Speaker 1: was targeted. Anybody that he lashed out at was targeted.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So it's it's it's it starts with the top. He
- 34:40Speaker 1: has to change his rhetoric. Is he going to No,
- 34:42Speaker 1: he's not no double down if anything, Steve, No, he's
- 34:47Speaker 1: not gonna We'll come back. We'll talk about it, amore.
- 34:50Speaker 1: All right, it's time for today's headlines. Let's get into
- 34:52Speaker 1: that right here. Steve ms and Trip, thank you very much,
- 34:56Speaker 1: and yes, of course I do have to talk about
- 34:58Speaker 1: those things. The forty six year old white man and
- 35:00Speaker 1: named Robert Bowers will appear before a federal judge in
- 35:03Speaker 1: Pittsburgh today facing twenty nine federal criminal accounts. Could face
- 35:06Speaker 1: a death penalty for what is believed to be the
- 35:08Speaker 1: most deadly attack on the U S Synagogue during worship
- 35:11Speaker 1: services in history. Eleven people kill, six others injured. During
- 35:14Speaker 1: the course of the shootings, police say boys talked about
- 35:17Speaker 1: genocide his desire to kill Jews, so U S Attorney
- 35:20Speaker 1: Scott Brady says this clearly fits the definition of a
- 35:22Speaker 1: hate crime. Hate crime is where an individual is animated
- 35:25Speaker 1: by a hatred or certain animus towards a person of
- 35:28Speaker 1: certain ethnicity or religious faith, and it becomes domestic terrorism
- 35:33Speaker 1: where there is an ideology that that person is then
- 35:37Speaker 1: also trying to propagate through violence. And this is all
- 35:40Speaker 1: sadly reminiscent, of course, to Black Americans who remember a
- 35:43Speaker 1: white man named Dylan Roof who gained entrance to a
- 35:46Speaker 1: black church in Charleston, South Carolina, back in June and
- 35:49Speaker 1: shot and kill nine innocent people. President Trump, by the way,
- 35:53Speaker 1: says the massive could have been avoided if there was
- 35:55Speaker 1: an armed guard there. However, Pittsburgh may Or William Poduto
- 35:58Speaker 1: disagrees with that line. I think. I think the approach
- 36:01Speaker 1: that we need to be looking at is how we
- 36:04Speaker 1: take the guns, which is the common denominator of every
- 36:08Speaker 1: mass shooting in America, out of the hands of those
- 36:13Speaker 1: that are looking to express hatred through murder. The mayor
- 36:16Speaker 1: was on NBC's Meet the Press. Meanwhile, it's already say
- 36:19Speaker 1: a white man in Kentucky shot and killed two innocent
- 36:21Speaker 1: black people in a crow grocery store last week outside
- 36:24Speaker 1: of Louisville. Gregory Allen Bush has a history of violence,
- 36:27Speaker 1: murdered sixty seven year old Vickie Lee Jones. Sixty nine
- 36:30Speaker 1: year old more Restalt was killed in front of his
- 36:32Speaker 1: twelve year old grandson, and the suspect, Gregory Allen Bush,
- 36:35Speaker 1: being held in five million dollars bail. Witnesses say, get this,
- 36:38Speaker 1: They saw a Bush trying to get into a black
- 36:40Speaker 1: church nearby before heading to the store. A white man
- 36:44Speaker 1: saw the suspect walking through the stores, parking lottyes and
- 36:46Speaker 1: what was going on. Bush answers, don't shoot me, I
- 36:49Speaker 1: won't shoot you. Whites, don't shoot whites. With all that,
- 36:52Speaker 1: the local police chief says, it's too soon to say
- 36:54Speaker 1: if the unprovoked killings were Rachelly motivated. Meanwhile, all this
- 36:58Speaker 1: comes as a man named series just say Aak arrested
- 37:00Speaker 1: in Florida last week for legedly sending incendiary packages to
- 37:03Speaker 1: foreign President Obama all the other people who either criticized
- 37:06Speaker 1: Donald Trump or who were criticized by him. Sayak is
- 37:09Speaker 1: to appear before a judge in Miami, Florida today. He
- 37:12Speaker 1: could be sent up to New York right after that
- 37:14Speaker 1: and being arraigned on on charges and tried in New
- 37:17Speaker 1: York and finally, I really don't think. I don't know.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I don't think Americans need to be frightened anymore. But
- 37:23Speaker 1: this is Halloween weekend. Finally, the Latest and the Halloween
- 37:26Speaker 1: franchise slashed its way to the top of the weekend
- 37:29Speaker 1: box office heap for a second week in a row, Halloween,
- 37:32Speaker 1: pulling in thirty two million bucks over the weekend, bringing
- 37:35Speaker 1: its two week total to one hundred million bucks. If
- 37:38Speaker 1: you care about what was going on in the movies,
- 37:39Speaker 1: ears up Steve Harvey Nation find out if Steve is
- 37:41Speaker 1: smart and his nephew will be back twenty minutes after
- 37:43Speaker 1: the hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening, alright,
- 37:49Speaker 1: So Steve, we said this earlier after last week. It
- 37:52Speaker 1: is time for this country. We all have to stand
- 37:56Speaker 1: up and say enough. Former President Obama was in Milwaukee
- 37:59Speaker 1: on Friday campaigning for the Democrats. Take a listen to this.
- 38:03Speaker 1: What is at stake in this way is whether we're
- 38:05Speaker 1: gonna get a politics and a government and a public
- 38:09Speaker 1: life that is decent and ice and lawful and tries
- 38:13Speaker 1: to do the right thing for people, and it's worthy
- 38:16Speaker 1: of this country that we love, and that is a
- 38:18Speaker 1: set of values that transcends party, because it shouldn't be
- 38:22Speaker 1: democratic or republican to say we won't lie and you
- 38:26Speaker 1: don't make stuff up. It shouldn't be democratic or republican
- 38:29Speaker 1: to say you don't try to punish political poems or
- 38:32Speaker 1: threaten the freedom of the press just because you don't
- 38:34Speaker 1: like what they say. It shouldn't be democratic or republican
- 38:38Speaker 1: to say we don't target certain groups of people based
- 38:42Speaker 1: on how they look like, what the last name is,
- 38:45Speaker 1: or how they prayed or who they love. Still talk, man.
- 38:50Speaker 1: He got what he was elected to do, and that
- 38:53Speaker 1: was to govern the people. People. The problem that we
- 38:56Speaker 1: had with our forty five is he was elected, but
- 38:59Speaker 1: his job as the forty five president is to govern
- 39:04Speaker 1: the people, and that is to understand, listen to all sides,
- 39:11Speaker 1: and to say, hey, look man, here's what we need
- 39:15Speaker 1: to do. Now. You may not agree with me on this,
- 39:17Speaker 1: and I don't agree with you on that, but this
- 39:19Speaker 1: is what we're gonna do. And what do we need
- 39:22Speaker 1: to give you to make this okay with you? And
- 39:25Speaker 1: that's what it always comes down to. When they passed
- 39:28Speaker 1: these bills, they passed these bills. We'll get this, but
- 39:31Speaker 1: we'll give you that because you gotta give the right
- 39:34Speaker 1: wing something, and you gotta give the left wing something.
- 39:37Speaker 1: If you want the eagle to fly right. If it's
- 39:39Speaker 1: all going on one wing, it ain't gonna work. And
- 39:42Speaker 1: what we have right now is the president. Here's what
- 39:45Speaker 1: gave it away from me when he said when Leslie
- 39:49Speaker 1: stall On sixty minutes asked him how he felt about
- 39:53Speaker 1: the treatment of Dr Ford in the Kavanaugh hearing, the
- 39:57Speaker 1: woman who came and a claimed assault, he said, at
- 40:02Speaker 1: one point he stopped it. He said, I'm not going
- 40:04Speaker 1: to get into all of that. The only thing that
- 40:07Speaker 1: matters is is that we want So that's all that matters.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Here is a guy who is getting his way at
- 40:15Speaker 1: all costs, and any cost is all that matters. And
- 40:20Speaker 1: if that's the case, that's not the person who should
- 40:23Speaker 1: be in charge. I got the economy is supposedly doing better.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I've got that manufacturing jobs are coming back into the country.
- 40:31Speaker 1: We all know that the real recovery started back with
- 40:33Speaker 1: that stimulus package. He gets to take credit for that. Okay, Coire,
- 40:37Speaker 1: what have you done to unify the country? And I
- 40:40Speaker 1: can tell you flat out nothing. He's been the most
- 40:43Speaker 1: disruptive president we've had in our life, all right, coming
- 40:47Speaker 1: up at thirty or four after the hour, well said Steve,
- 40:50Speaker 1: more about voting and the gloves came off during the
- 40:52Speaker 1: debate for Florida's governor's race, So we'll talk about that
- 40:55Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show alright, the mid
- 41:01Speaker 1: term elections are just around the corner on November six,
- 41:03Speaker 1: guys and Steve, for those of you who missed it.
- 41:07Speaker 1: The mayor of Tallahassee, Florida, Andrew Gillim, the Democratic candidate
- 41:11Speaker 1: for governor in Florida, has been the target of racism
- 41:14Speaker 1: throughout his campaign. Well. During the debate, Andrew Gillim's opponent,
- 41:18Speaker 1: Republican run De Santis, got visibly angry when he was
- 41:22Speaker 1: questioned about his speaking engagement engagement. At racially charged for
- 41:26Speaker 1: Right conferences, Gillum said he would not call his opponent
- 41:30Speaker 1: to Santis a racist. Take a listen, Mr gilm won't
- 41:33Speaker 1: give you a chance to respond, though. Let me first say,
- 41:35Speaker 1: my grandmother used to say, I hit dog, will holler uh,
- 41:39Speaker 1: and it hollered through this room. Mr de Santis has spoken.
- 41:44Speaker 1: First of all, he's got Neo Nazis helping him out
- 41:46Speaker 1: in the state. Uh. He has spoken at racist conferences.
- 41:50Speaker 1: He's accepted a contribution and would not return it from
- 41:53Speaker 1: someone who referred to the former President of the United
- 41:55Speaker 1: States as a Muslim in I G. G. E. R.
- 41:59Speaker 1: When asked return that money, he said, no, he's using
- 42:02Speaker 1: that money to now fund negative ads. Now I'm not
- 42:04Speaker 1: calling Mr de Santas a racist. I'm simply saying the
- 42:07Speaker 1: racist believe he's a racist. Mike Who Yeah, yeah, you see.
- 42:16Speaker 1: You know what if you accept money from a person
- 42:19Speaker 1: like that, I mean, come on, now, that speaks volume
- 42:22Speaker 1: for your character because you could say, hey, look, I'm
- 42:25Speaker 1: not taking money from somebody with that type of belief
- 42:28Speaker 1: because that's not near at all. But if you have
- 42:30Speaker 1: the same attitude that our forty five has that the
- 42:33Speaker 1: only thing that matters is that we win, then we
- 42:37Speaker 1: have a problem because we now have the same situation
- 42:41Speaker 1: that we have in the White House. That's why it
- 42:44Speaker 1: is so important that we get out to vote, because
- 42:47Speaker 1: you have got to create a balance, because you're starting
- 42:50Speaker 1: to see what happens when there isn't a balance, When
- 42:53Speaker 1: there isn't enough left and enough right at the same time,
- 42:57Speaker 1: it all goes heavily one way, and that one way
- 43:00Speaker 1: is not for everybody. And so we've got to get
- 43:04Speaker 1: to Florida. We've got to vote for Andrew Gillum. We've
- 43:08Speaker 1: got to show up in Georgia and vote for Stacy Abem.
- 43:12Speaker 1: You've got to show up in all of these places
- 43:14Speaker 1: in Mississippi, Texas and and and Texas and get these
- 43:17Speaker 1: candidates elected that can make a difference for you. You
- 43:22Speaker 1: cannot sit out this election, y'all, and listen to me.
- 43:26Speaker 1: You gotta take somebody with you. If if you're listening
- 43:30Speaker 1: to my show and you're a baby boomer, then you
- 43:32Speaker 1: gotta take a millennial to the pole with you. If
- 43:34Speaker 1: you're in the poll and you live, you listen to
- 43:36Speaker 1: this show and you're millennial, you gotta take a baby
- 43:38Speaker 1: boomer to the pole with you. You gotta get your
- 43:41Speaker 1: fellow U millennials and your fellow baby boomers to vote.
- 43:47Speaker 1: You all are gonna set yourself up for some horrendous
- 43:51Speaker 1: lifestyle changes. Let me help you understand this. The rich
- 43:56Speaker 1: will be fine, I'm telling you, man, and they will
- 44:01Speaker 1: be fine because these policies are are just the tilted
- 44:06Speaker 1: towards them. The reason I'm screaming so loud is because
- 44:10Speaker 1: the majority of my people, the majority of my relatives,
- 44:15Speaker 1: my friends, my loved ones, the people who I need
- 44:18Speaker 1: the most do not fit into the category of rich,
- 44:22Speaker 1: and they are going to suffer. If they suffer. I
- 44:24Speaker 1: have to suffer, you know why, because I got to
- 44:27Speaker 1: come to the rescue. Yeah, I am telling you, man,
- 44:31Speaker 1: the rich will be fine. We have got to get
- 44:35Speaker 1: out and vote and create a balance here. Man, This
- 44:38Speaker 1: number forty five, I'm telling you, man, is doing some
- 44:43Speaker 1: stuff that's never been done before. You've got to get
- 44:46Speaker 1: a balance there, man, because this guy is saying the
- 44:50Speaker 1: most atrocious stuff to ever come out of the White
- 44:53Speaker 1: House in our life. So he can so he can win.
- 44:59Speaker 1: He set up and went to that rally after the
- 45:01Speaker 1: White House asked him not to rally because of the
- 45:03Speaker 1: murders at the synagogue. He going anyway because he loves that.
- 45:07Speaker 1: He going on there and telling them jokes and then
- 45:09Speaker 1: people just clap for every damn thing he said. When
- 45:12Speaker 1: he's saying something just dead wrong, they'll be clapping the
- 45:15Speaker 1: chin in the ass off so sick of him. Person,
- 45:19Speaker 1: what they asked behind, that's right, your vote is your power.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Up next, it is the nephew with a prank phone
- 45:25Speaker 1: call right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 45:30Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 45:32Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today's subject.
- 45:36Speaker 1: It's better if people are watching us. Don't say anything.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Tell me you have a show. Come on, let me
- 45:50Speaker 1: come on that right there, hold your mule baby holding alright,
- 45:55Speaker 1: keep your show. Here you go, Jay right now though
- 46:00Speaker 1: the nephew is up with today's praying phone call. What
- 46:03Speaker 1: you got you know what to Guy Tori? Get tore

- 46:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to I'm trying to reach guy Tory. Are
- 46:21Speaker 1: you listen? This ain't out of uh Decata, Georgia. Listen.
- 46:25Speaker 1: I want to call you for a second. I got
- 46:27Speaker 1: your number from over one of the comedians and uh
- 46:33Speaker 1: down here in Georgia. I got your number through them
- 46:36Speaker 1: at the clube. So I wonder how let you about
- 46:39Speaker 1: this here? Man? Or you know, I've been in the
- 46:42Speaker 1: game probably like or right like two years now. I've
- 46:46Speaker 1: been doing standing up and here lately. You know, everybody
- 46:50Speaker 1: telling me, you know that when I get out stage,
- 46:54Speaker 1: saying hey, you know I've seen guy tour it do
- 46:57Speaker 1: that joke, And I'm saying, what you who do? Telling you?
- 47:01Speaker 1: Telling you what I'm doing your jokes? Well, I mean,
- 47:04Speaker 1: I'm just telling you that's supposedly what's going. And this
- 47:06Speaker 1: ain't the first time I'm hearing, you know, every time
- 47:09Speaker 1: I get out I'm here, Hey God, Tory Ben, what's
- 47:13Speaker 1: your name again? This ain't out of theator do I
- 47:16Speaker 1: don't do? I don't even know you, man, but I
- 47:19Speaker 1: know that too. But what I'm saying is, you know,
- 47:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to come to you, like, come in and
- 47:24Speaker 1: tell you what I'm healing. You know, well, what what Joe?
- 47:29Speaker 1: What joke is it, dude? Because it's like, come on, man,
- 47:31Speaker 1: It's like it was a premises or what joke. They're
- 47:33Speaker 1: saying that I stole from you. Well, I'm all thirty
- 47:37Speaker 1: of my minutes that I do. They're saying, you're doing
- 47:39Speaker 1: out low. Well, what's all I'm doing? I got? Do
- 47:42Speaker 1: I do? I do? Throw them at my sleep man,

- 48:01Speaker 1: I don't know what people you got telling you. You know,
- 48:03Speaker 1: every time you get off stage, I'm doing in material.
- 48:05Speaker 1: But dude, I do my own material, dou I live
- 48:07Speaker 1: my life. I'll tell my own story. Dude, I don't
- 48:09Speaker 1: know crap. Man. Look look man, look, I ain't trying
- 48:13Speaker 1: to get into it like this. He'll. All I'm saying
- 48:15Speaker 1: is if I find out you do one mode of
- 48:18Speaker 1: my jokes, hold on old. First of all, first Bollo,
- 48:22Speaker 1: hold on. First of all, you ain't gonna curse at me, dude,
- 48:24Speaker 1: I ain't cursed it you yet, all right, So let

- 48:52Speaker 1: what you want to do about it? There? If I okay,
- 48:54Speaker 1: so I'm doing your jokes? What now what? No? You

- 54:55Speaker 1: clicking Strawberry Letter. All right, Before we get to this letter,
- 54:59Speaker 1: I got put a disclaimer out here. If you're in
- 55:02Speaker 1: the car at home with some young children, you may
- 55:04Speaker 1: not want them to hear this particular letter. Okay, thank you,
- 55:15Speaker 1: buggle up. He is thank you enough. Subject it's better
- 55:24Speaker 1: if people are watching Hello, Stephen Shirley, and I might
- 55:30Speaker 1: need to include Tommy too. I am a happily married,
- 55:34Speaker 1: forty year old woman with grown children. I'm completely in
- 55:38Speaker 1: love with my husband and We have an incredible sex life,
- 55:42Speaker 1: but I have one issue. When we first started dating
- 55:45Speaker 1: years ago, my husband could not get enough of me sexually.
- 55:49Speaker 1: As you can imagine, that cooled down after a few years,
- 55:52Speaker 1: so I wanted to spice things back up. I asked
- 55:56Speaker 1: him to take me to a strip club since I
- 55:58Speaker 1: had never been to one, and he did. We got
- 56:01Speaker 1: a table in the back of the club and I
- 56:03Speaker 1: got tipsy and started putting on a better show than
- 56:06Speaker 1: the strippers. My man could not keep his hands off me,
- 56:10Speaker 1: and all of the people around us were watching as
- 56:13Speaker 1: we got it on. This really turned me on and
- 56:17Speaker 1: ignited something within me sexually. It created a desire in
- 56:21Speaker 1: me to have sex in front of others, to have
- 56:24Speaker 1: someone watching us when we're together, I constantly fantasize about it.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I just want someone to watch, not join in. My
- 56:34Speaker 1: husband and I are totally faithful to each other and
- 56:37Speaker 1: that's not changing. I hinted that we should go back
- 56:40Speaker 1: to the strip club, but he told me that strip
- 56:42Speaker 1: clubs aren't really his thing. I bought toys, so we
- 56:46Speaker 1: did role playing and we've made some videos. We had
- 56:49Speaker 1: sex and a few public public places, but none of
- 56:52Speaker 1: those things gave me the same rush as that night
- 56:55Speaker 1: when people were watching us. My husband admits he used
- 56:59Speaker 1: to be a freak, and he goes along with whatever
- 57:01Speaker 1: I want to do, but I always feel like I'm
- 57:04Speaker 1: a bit too freaky for him. Is it wrong for
- 57:06Speaker 1: me to have this desire? Okay, be quiet, Tommy, Okay,
- 57:14Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say that. You know it's wrong what
- 57:17Speaker 1: you desire. I'm not gonna say that's wrong. Because everyone
- 57:20Speaker 1: fantasizes about something or someone you know, and and and
- 57:25Speaker 1: they're all they're not always right or or or good
- 57:28Speaker 1: or anything. I mean, if you if it's your fantasy,
- 57:30Speaker 1: it's your fantasy. Uh, yours happens to be voyeurism. You
- 57:34Speaker 1: want somebody to watch you and your husband when you're
- 57:37Speaker 1: doing it. Okay, But it doesn't seem like your husband
- 57:41Speaker 1: is into it at all. He's not there. He's not
- 57:43Speaker 1: into it. Uh. He has told you the script scrip
- 57:46Speaker 1: clubs are in his thing, even though you want to
- 57:48Speaker 1: go back and have people watch them. So that could
- 57:50Speaker 1: be a problem for you. And and if you continue
- 57:53Speaker 1: to badger him, he may not like that. It could
- 57:56Speaker 1: cause a problem in your marriage. He's told you he's
- 57:59Speaker 1: not into it. Okay, Let me ask you you didn't
- 58:02Speaker 1: get some sort of rush as you call it when
- 58:04Speaker 1: you um, when when you do it in public places,
- 58:07Speaker 1: or when you did it those times in public places,
- 58:10Speaker 1: Because that seems to be somewhat of a compromise between
- 58:13Speaker 1: actually having someone watching you in a strip club, don't
- 58:16Speaker 1: you think? Um, you know, what you don't want to
- 58:20Speaker 1: do is not be on the same page with your
- 58:21Speaker 1: husband sexually. Um. It may be, you know, it may
- 58:25Speaker 1: vary from time to time. I'll say, but you guys
- 58:27Speaker 1: have to talk so you can both get some or
- 58:30Speaker 1: all of uh, you know, what you wanted in a
- 58:33Speaker 1: given time. So I say to you talk, you know,
- 58:36Speaker 1: when you're on neutral ground, and figure out how you
- 58:39Speaker 1: can both get what you want sexually. But taking him
- 58:42Speaker 1: to the strip club doesn't do it for him, even
- 58:44Speaker 1: though you going to the strip club and having people
- 58:47Speaker 1: watch you does it for you. That's an issue. You
- 58:49Speaker 1: guys gotta work that out. Steve time, the Whispers had
- 59:03Speaker 1: a song out called Olivia, Oh liv and change the
- 59:13Speaker 1: Way to the Grandmothers High or Wolfing Lamb's clothing came
- 59:26Speaker 1: change Away. Now she's lost and turned down, lost in
- 59:35Speaker 1: turn Down, you are Olivia. You are now lost and
- 59:41Speaker 1: turned out. Let me start at the bottom of the left.
- 59:45Speaker 1: This is what you say, Is it wrong for me
- 59:49Speaker 1: to have this desire? You grown, grown people know this.
- 59:55Speaker 1: If you're an adult and you have to ask somebody's
- 59:59Speaker 1: opinion if this is wrong, it's because you already know
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: it's wrong. You're just trying to find somebody tell you
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: it's all right. Well, we can't do that for you.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: It's not all right. You want to have sex in
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: front of people. That's what this is. Na. The way
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: it happened was, you know, he couldn't keep your hands
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: off for you when you first got married, y'all to y'alla, y'ada.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Then it kind of cooled off. So one day you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: was trying to spice things up. You ask your husband
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: take you to a strip club. He did. Y'all got
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: there in that back room, you got the drinking, and strippers,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: got the clown and you got to show them strippers
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: what you had. Oh man, you have climbed on your man.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: You and your man having full blown sex in front
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: of some people in the back room. You see this
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: now you wrote it in a letter. You want to
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: do it again. Your hugs would say, strip clubs really
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: ain't his sting, lady, I don't. I don't really know
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: where to go with you. I can't tell y'all what's
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: what's what's best for y'all sex? Like, yeah, you want
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to have sex on the floor at the mall? You know,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I'll tell you what if you don't want to go
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: back to strip when I come back. I don't have
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a dister place of y'all control. Yes, all right, you
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: heard it. The name of the letter, the subject is
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: it's better if people are watching us. We're gonna have
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up at about twenty
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: three after the hour. Thank you for listening. It's the
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back at te after
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Steve up, it's time let's recap today Strawberry letters. Subject
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: it's better if people are watching up. You know, she
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: didn't went to the strip club with a man because
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: they she want to spice something they love. Like she
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: got in the back room, the strippers got a little while,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: she got to drink, and she got wild with him.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Next thing, you know, she putting on the show that
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: was better than the one strippers hunt, a man had
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: sex and people was watching. That turned down. Now she
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: won't people to watch them while they have sex. She
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: didn't ask go back down to the strip club. He
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: said that ain't really his thing. He don't want to
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: go back down now, So okay, cool. So now you
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: got a problem because you wants to do it in
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: front of some people. He don't want to. Now, you
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: asked us, is it wrong of you to feel this
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: way for these designs you know good in hair? Well,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: it ain't right. Sex is supposed to be a personal thing.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: But if that's what you wanna do, if you want
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: to have sex in front of people and he don't
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: want to go to the strip club, I have a
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: short list or places you could go whereas a lot
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: of people and you can have sex. What Yeah, because

- 1:03:33Speaker 1: they're just standing around. Y'all. Just lay a blanket down
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: in front of that grass. It's always slow moving at
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the polls. Here's another place y'all can have sex and
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: give it a shot. At the doctor's office in the
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: waiting room. Get their magazines off that table. They're going
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: to handle it right. Here's another place where you could
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: be in front a lot of people, go to jail. Whoa,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: they're not gonna put them in at each other. Yeah,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I don't give a damn. You're gone down there. Try
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: a people. Yeah, here's where's a lot of people. A church,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: pew a church, acquire rehearsal, whatever you wanna do. Tried that.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Here's another place down at the d m V. It's
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: date and they do the mad They in the long
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: ass line they got to I got another place. You
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: do it in line at that ticket trying to win
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: that damn Mega Jack Park. Yeah, that's always. I'll tell
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you another place that's crowding. Lunchtime at the crypt at
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: the Quick Trip gas station where they got slurpy slush
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: and hot dog. It's pack. I tell you another place
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you want to have sex, it's gonna be crowded from
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: the day after the all at the Boston Red Sox.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, girl, there's gonna be some people up
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: in now. You could just go and I tell you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: another place. And anybody's funeral, they all that crying and stuff.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: You can hear all that. What it would be a distraction? Yeah?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Did you see up? Wow? Oh my goodness. Um, these
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: are places you could have public sex. That's not at
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: the strip where sports ball just in this sports ball anyone.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Hell at the Laker game, I
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: tell you a good place to have some sense and
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: been to throw him into something at the next trup
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: roun Oh yeah, yeah with the hat on. Yeah, make America,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: except you have to have make America have more people
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: in this. Yeah, how about to move in theater? Try that?
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: But it's dark and there though, Steve, not a lot
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: of people won't be able to scream. Not if you're
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: up against the screen. Let him mash you right up
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: against that scream. Don't even weary potty everybody, huh. Can
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: we get on a plane. It's a lot of people
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: on the plane. You're a little crowded though, you're gonna
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: cut your knees up. I don't care waiting on that plane.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: You could do it where. You can do it at
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: a tiger Woods golf tournament. That's a good one. Yeah,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: do it at the Masters hard. You can do a
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: dead line. Yeah, you can do it at a car
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: show and go back to what Tommy said, maybe not
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: on the airplane, but at the airport. Yeah, yeah, or
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: any dick sporting goods. It was. I did like very clear,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: very clear super Bowls coming up? What you think, No,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: we don't want to wait that Long's gonna be the
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: broke up by the what in two months? A couple
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: of months? But about a home coming? Yeah, that's that's
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: going on. You could have did it this past weekend
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: at the preview home come. Pretty sure they were looking
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: for something to get into bowling at. Yeah, did it
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: down there? Something different? I knew where was a lot
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: of people with a lot of people at the We
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: all want to see it too. At the Beyonce and
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: jay Z concert. Yeah, that would have been good. I
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: got a good one. If the Universal Soul Circles come back,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: do it right there and they'll probably make you all
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I act ladies and gentlemen coming out. You've me standing
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: right next to the little African kids that know how
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: to step out their own age, the contortionists, that's what
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: they call them. Say that again, I've ever seen it?
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Wasn't just so said? Has that been Africa? Four times?
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I ain't never seen it African that alright, Look, we
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: gotta go, guys, um email us or Instagram. That's your
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter. At Steve Harvey f M.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Coming up in ten minutes, we'll talk about why this
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: mid term election is too important to sit out. Right
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: All right. Last night b et air to mid term
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: election special guys. It was called Our Vote, Our Power,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: hosted by Angela Rye, had discussed issues about voting in
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: the black community with former First Lady Michelle Obama. Democratic
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Senator Corey Booker from New Jersey, and he explained why
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: this election is too important to sit out. Take a
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: listen right now, we live in a nation where one
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: out of every seventeen African Americans can't vote because of
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: felony disenfranchise. In Florida, it's about one of every five
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: African Americans can't vote, many of them for doing things
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: the two of the last three presidents admitted to doing
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: the consequence since we have for not having people at
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: the table who we're going to fight for communities who
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: know them intimately. I live in a low income area
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: in the central world of Newer Can. I see every
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: single day people who work full time jobs as harder,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: harder than my parents did, trying to catch extra shifts
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: where they can still go to my local bodega and
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: use food stamps. That's not the America that we believe in,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: where people who work hard, playlet rules will be able
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: to get ahead. We need more people around the table.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: That's right. Yeah, we we have to vote. It's not
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: an option November six early voting absentee ballots, but voting
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: on November six. Stop whatever you're doing. Get your employer
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: to understand. You have to vote. I'm going to mar
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: You have to vote. Most polls are open now early voting.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: That's right. M A done, man, Yeah, do it early.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: So you want to voted already. I've already to vote.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: You voted already. Yeah, I went to Atlanta to vote.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: You best believe I voted for Stacey Abri. You bet JR.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Cash money on that. Go early because anything can happen
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: that day. Because man, you've got to be careful of
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: the Republicans. They have an ad out that says that
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: there's this whole thing. If you want the country destroyed,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: if you want immigrants overrunning as a country, if you
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: want to lose your jobs, if you want unsafe boarders,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: if you want socialism, if you want all of this.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: If you vote for any Democrat, that's what you will get. Man,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: that is so not the truth. They just blatantly lies.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: If you vote for any Democrat, this is what you
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: will get. That's not the truth. And it's fearmongering, making
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: people afraid, you know, and went out and doing crazy
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: things because of these kinds of ads. We you know,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: go out and vote. That's your power. November six, right
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: around the yes, um, okay, switching gears a little bit here.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Uh fifty cent uh is in the news again. I
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: don't know this guy. He's taking his feud with jar
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Rule to a new level. Remember when let go, But
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: remember when fifty came out. You know, he was talking
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: about jar Rule was a wankster and all that. Well,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: apparently it's continuing. Jah Rule is playing a show in Arlington,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Texas on November nine. Okay, so Fitty and a sense
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: debated deleted Instagram post claimed to have bought two hundred
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: front row seats to the show just for the purpose
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: of keeping them empty. He also made fun of jaw
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Rule's low ticket price of fifteen dollars. I know. Fifty
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: reportedly later commented, I just bought two hundred seats in
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: the front row so they can be empty. L o
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: l uh, this really come on the beef between But
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: the stupidity is you bought the seats. Yeah, but he
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: can afford it. I guess they're they're only fifty empty. Yeah,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the first the front rows empty at a concert. Uh,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: this beef Huh. Well, there's just two things. It's empty
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and getting paid, and then it's empty and not getting paid.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I've done both so but you know this, This was
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: a decade long beat and they've been peaceful throughout the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: most recent years. Fifty seems to have reignited this feud though,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: with this latest ticket thing he's doing now to add
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: insult to injury, fifty has been using his Instagram to
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: taunt your role ever since the story broke. Now, come on,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: come on, you're grown men here. Yeah, fifty, big gu
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: you're doing real good and let that go. Get the
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: strap for yourself fifty this time. Yeah, I mean it
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: makes no sense. I don't really I don't feel that
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: roll up you get a bunch of camp people and
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: put them on them two hundred seats free tickets. Yeah,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: he could turn it into some free tickets. Pardon, let's go. Yeah,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: but you gotta be careful man. Usually, man, when you
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: when you set out to do something for something to
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: somebody of ill will backfires very very quick, right back. Yeah,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: don't do that. What's that saying? You're saying, blowing out
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: somebody else's canadas, blowing out my coundle, don't make yours bright?
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: M you're talking on your coundle. Dog. I'm just saying, huh,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: what excuse me? What what'd you say? What's say? Man?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: You make it darker though? Thank you? I'm trying. Are
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: you just getting quiet because you're mad? Or quiet because
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: you're scared for him when he speaks, which is no,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: I've just given up, can't give up. He just got
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: the show. You've given up on me. I've given up
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: on you being intelligent. Oh oh you didn't say that. Okay, Yeah,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: that that right there. I've already decided that's not gonna happen,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: not in this life. It's too late. Yeah, So I
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: just let him go and do what he goes and
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: then just trying to help him when he thought crash. Yeah,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I got a lot of recovery advice from you. But
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: he's good. He took, you know, time off, like he
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: said earlier in the show, that wasn't good. Well, I'm
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: saying he's good. He took time off to reflect, to
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: get himself together. And now he's thinking. Are you thinking now?
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Are you thinking to reflect? Well, thinking, I don't get
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: all upset. Don't do that. You're thinking of what to say? Yeah,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: I don't want to say the wrong thing. You don't
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: have to thank shut up, I'm doing that. Quiet doesn't
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: require thought. All right, listen, it's time for today's comedy
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: section segment, and we're gonna do that when we come
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: back at the top of the hour. Right after this,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Jay,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: you're here to lighten things up a bit, uh with
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: today's with today's comedy segment. Now, what does this stuff
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: kids say today? There's a bunch of sayings that kids
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: could say today that we never ever thought about saying
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: when we were coming up. Just just if you just
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: something simple as the word why yeah, why? Why? Why?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: That wasn't even if well, why right there, wind up
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: crying yourself to sleep because why ryms with crap? I
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: ain't doing that right now? What I'm gonna do it,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: but I'm not gonna do it right now. I couldn't
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: say shoot shoot. I couldn't say shoot, I'd shoot put
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: the one I couldn't say, I don't eat that. I
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: don't know a black child alive who could say that
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: with Steve, you you're gonna eat it. This is stuff
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: can't say today that we just couldn't say back in
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: the day. We couldn't what you got, Jake, Oh this one.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: I heard this one in the mall. I heard this
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: one in the moment where the kids said to the mom,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I know you hear me talking to you. The kids
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: said that the kids said that it was one of
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: my hands, like really, what this is a bread blue boy?
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I know you hear me talking to you To kids
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: say today the week can stay back in Mom, I
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: think that's we could just do a little better than
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: the way we're living. A little better. You would think
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: what some kids say today that we couldn't stay back
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: in the day. Steve, what you got? Huh huh? I
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: know he didn't you, honey, you can hear me, Steve,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Oh my god. Okay, Oh, I can't say today that
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: we couldn't say back in the day. But one I
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: want that last week and I'm not wearing that again.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I know, I know you Why you think on your bed?
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Don't you know it's time again? Okay, here go what
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I can't do. I can't call my mamabout ok yeah,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: you hit me. But my cousins called their dead by
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: his person, Jesse. Boy. These are things that kids can
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: say today that we couldn't stay back in the day. Guys,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: I heard a little boy tell his mama, put me
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: in my room, put me in my room. That was
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: deaf back in the done to do. Now they want
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: to go to their damn room. Now they got stuff
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: in their room, right they got computers everything. Stuff. Kids
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: say today we could not say back in the day.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Are we gonna want you in my room? Right now?
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Thank you to these kids. Oh I got one, I
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: got oh, but we got money for stuff you want.

- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I want three ties for Christmas? Oh, I got a
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: real all right, it's your turn. Stuff can't say today

- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I don't care what Ms Johnson says? She's lying? Wow?
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Who ever say another adult was lying? Yeah? Yeah, And
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you couldn't say the word lie? Can you just drop
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: me off at the corner until we get a new car?
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Just drop me off at the corner. Okay, But to
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: embarrass me in front of all my friends, really really

- 1:26:06Speaker 1: them all together and laying them out, let them dry.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: I had my sister so on together and so now
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: this is Kodak film anything. Now she can make a
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: code out of anything. I tell her. See, I got
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: the imagination. She just knows how to put it together.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: I've been working on a special code for next week.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: I ain't figured out how to do it yet. Halloween. Now,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: I just want something real, real, fly but I can't

- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Let's get into these games. I've been trying to make
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: a coat out of five yeah at all. It ain't
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: working out. I got I put it on a lord,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: I gotta come out of it. It was hot and
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I'm going out about five seconds when you came, you
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: walk into the getting hot of the coat out of flyer.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, we're back week eight
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: of the NFL Pimping in the building, pimping. Yeah, alright,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: school's pimping. It started off Thursday, pimping Miami Dolphins. You
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: know I picked these games even though I wasn't here. Okay,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: Miami against Houston, who would you pick? I picked Houston
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: because we're own in Houston, and I know y'all love Houston,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: So I gotta pool to y'all. You know, go ahead quickly.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles went to the Jaguars and Philly one, and

- 1:27:53Speaker 1: want to due all. I don't know what down there,
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: but Jayleen Ramsey crying like check people. Now, New York
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Jets against Chicago Chicago con Travinch. I picked that one. Okay,
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: how about them red Skins. They played the New York James.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Everybody picking the Jimes can't win a game. Come on,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: let's just keep going. Adrian Peterson Baltimore Ravens lost to
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: the Carolina Panthers of thirty six to twenty one. That
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: was my push game. Okay, that was my push game.
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: But you know, I'm always pulling for Cam because he'd
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: be dressing. Seattle Seahawks. They won fourteen over the Detroit line.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: I lost that when I picked the lines on that one.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: They ain't on nineteen all right here. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: beat the Bengals thirty. No, no, I'm so they're gonna
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: beat the Tampa Bay because I picked the Bengals thirty
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: seven thirty. Yeah. I want it Tampa Bay to win
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: cause they're in the same division at the Browns. When
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: here we' Tony. Denver bron Ols lost to the Kansas
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: City Chiefs. They real Kansas City, real player. Whoa oh,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: here go one for you. Cleveland Browns lost the Pittsburgh
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: Steelers thirty three to eight. Yeah, I lost down when
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: I lost down, when our Sean was pulling fun though
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: I lost Browns, you know what I'm saying. And when
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: the ad Apples coats forty two to twenty eight over
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: the Raiders, I wanted the Raiders. Do you know? Green
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: Bay Packers lost seven twenty nine against the Los Angeles
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: ram Man. It was close to I told him the
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Rams was gonna win. But they can scared everybody with
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: that one. They ate it old, they ate it up.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: You gotta picked them. San Francisco forty nine is lost
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: to the Arizona Cardinals fifteen eighteen. I picked freshco. I
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: don't know honey launched in the county. Damn. How who
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: did you pick New Orleans Saints against to throw the bike?
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: I picked the Saints. You ain't even to throw that
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: ball over their head no more like you did last year.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: That ain't ben to him? And who you got for
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: them for tonight? Pipping? We got New England Patriots. They're
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: playing against the Buffalo pell Come on, man, I don't
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: want to, but you know the Bills can't whoop the Patriots.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: Let's just keep it real. Buffalo listening to the show though,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: I appreciate Buffalo listen. I'm Buffalo fan, but they're gonna
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: keep you one hunting now, snowball fight, poop the ass
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: in the snowman contest, or something like that little day
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: on football game. DA's up. I see y'all tomorrow whenever
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: y'all asked me to come back. Okay, and remember, pimping
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: ain't easy, but somebody got to do it and it
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: might as well. L'll be back to close out the
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: show after this you're listening to all Right, here we are,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: last break of the day. We had a good day. Yeah,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: I enjoyed it as usual. Time for Steve though, to
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: leave us with some words of wisdom with his closing remarks,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: what you got, Steve. I want to talk about voting
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: because I want to make sure that I take advantage
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: of this platform and get as many people as I
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: can to to take seriously our right to vote on
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: November six, Um, this is really really an important election
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: when you hear President Obama out on the trail. When
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: you hear all these people out on the trail, you know, man,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: we've we've got to get out there. We have got
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: to slow this rhetoric down somewhat. That's coming from Pennsylvania
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Avenue right now. Um, we have a forty five president
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: who is not very presidential, who takes the time out
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: to comment about things that really a president shouldn't even
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: be concerned with. To tweet the other day about a
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: manager's decision in the World Series, it it made absolutely
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: no sense at all with everything that's going on in
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: the world today. Why would you comment negatively on the
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: manager's role that he played in the World Series And
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: to put a negative slant on this man, You've never
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: played sports before. You've never been in the heat of
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: battle on a field competing with everything on the line.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Or you play golf from want to understand, but you didn't.
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: You didn't play it at the level that of these
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: people playing at for a living. You must certainly haven't
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: stepped on a football field, baseball field, or or basketball court.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: But you take the time out like you know so
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: much about how these people think and how you would
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: act under pressure. And it's just ridiculous what's coming from
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: Pennsylvania Avenue. It's because he has a free reign. Now,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: am I surprised? Yeah, I do get surprised by some
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: of the stuff he did that some of the stuff
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: he does, But it's the way he is. He's not
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: going to change. We can stop wanting it. But the
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: reason he's so free to do what he wanted to
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: do it is because he has the support. He has
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: the House and the Senate, and no matter what he says,
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: they're gonna go along with it. The reason they're going
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: along with it is because they have a measure of
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: power control. And once you have power and control and position, power,
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: position control, that's their money. See, you can't really think
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: that this guy is presidential. You really really can't. And
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: so what the Republicans are doing is they're going along
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: with it because it's afforded them a position, it's afforded
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: them some power, and now they can continue making their money.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: So they'll go along with anything to maintain their power,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: their position, and their money, even if it's wrong. President
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: Trump just says so many things that's wrong, man, just
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: so many things to anything that he's done, as any good.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: He immediately negates it any statement he makes towards trying
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: to heal America. I we we this bomber, this guy
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: that dropped us these fourteen packages. He cannot be allowed
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: to intimidate us in our process of America. Then he
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: turns right around and goes, well, you know, the media
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: is to blame for this. If the media wasn't so mean,
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: it wouldn't stir up these people to do this, when
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: clearly the man's van had Trump's pictures all over it.
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: So what we have here is a person in office
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: who now because like my father always told me, he said,
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: when a person has undeserved power, the first thing they're
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: gonna do with it say no. So what did he do?
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: No to all of the Muslim countries. He could ban
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: you from traveling. No, No to anybody trying to come
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: into this country. No. No to the people who bought
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: the children over here, let me take your babies from you. No,
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: you can't see your babies. No. And he's done it
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: over and over and over again because he has the
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: support of the House and the Senate, And the only
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: reason he has it is because that's their measure of control, position, power,
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: and money and they will do anything to protect that.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: So we have to replace these people with people who
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: has more of a concern with what the constituents needs,
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: wants and desires are. That's why you have to vote.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: You have to vote so we can put some checks
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: and balances in place for this administration because right now
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: they're going along with it when they railroaded that Dr
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: Ford woman who accused Kavanaugh sexual assault. When Leslie Small
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: interviewed him and he says, I'm not gonna get into this.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: All that matters is we want we have a president
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: who owned and what his agenda gets pushed through and
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: he wins. We can stop some of this having his
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: way pushing through all of these policies by getting control
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: of the House in the Senate to slow down some
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: of this madness that's going on. That's our responsibility. So
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: if you're tired of the madness, and I know you've
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: got to be, you've got to get to these polls
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: on of him at six. We have got to vote
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: for Stacey Abams and George Gill him down in Florida,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: the Boy in Mississippi, the Democrat in Texas. Man. We've
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: got to get some of these seats back then, and
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: you're gonna have four more unses And for all Steve
