Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Hamas being Hamas, Executing Citizens in Public plus ICE Agents in Danger like Never Before
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There's one thing that is always for certain. Once you're
- 0:05Speaker 1: a terrorist organization like AMAS, you're never going to stop
- 0:08Speaker 1: being a terrorist organization. And we are witnessing this. Even
- 0:12Speaker 1: as the hostages were released back to Israel, videos circulating
- 0:18Speaker 1: on the public executions becoming a reality. Multiple news outlets
- 0:24Speaker 1: have reported that these videos are real and authentic, showing
- 0:29Speaker 1: mass Tomas gunmen executing blindfolded men in public spaces in Gaza,
- 0:35Speaker 1: labeling them as collaborators or outlaws, people they believe may
- 0:39Speaker 1: have been friendly to Israel. One of the videos that
- 0:44Speaker 1: was verified by ABC News also showed multiple people being
- 0:49Speaker 1: shot in one of the neighborhoods of Gaza City. In
- 0:52Speaker 1: the report, footage, men are forced to kneel blindfolded before
- 0:56Speaker 1: they are executed publicly. In statements in reporting, Hamas framed
- 1:02Speaker 1: some of these killings as part of a crackdown on collaborators,
- 1:05Speaker 1: then saying some are criminals or just rival militias they
- 1:09Speaker 1: claim in Gaza after the ceasefire. Some local analysts are
- 1:14Speaker 1: reporting that these acts are intended to reassure central control
- 1:18Speaker 1: and send a signal to other factions or clans the
- 1:22Speaker 1: defiance or cooperation with Israel will not be tolerated. But
- 1:26Speaker 1: this really is about fear, and Hamas is making it
- 1:30Speaker 1: clear that as the ceasefire has begun, they are still
- 1:34Speaker 1: a terrorist organization that is going to be in charge
- 1:37Speaker 1: of Gaza. Some of the reports of the number of
- 1:41Speaker 1: those publicly executor killed is at least three dozen. Some
- 1:46Speaker 1: even have it meant more than that the Washington Post
- 1:49Speaker 1: and public executions farther north than Gaza City is part
- 1:53Speaker 1: of the actions by Hamas to show that they are
- 1:56Speaker 1: quote the only viable authority for the region. These executions
- 2:02Speaker 1: are reportedly happening after the recent ceasefire, as Hamas deployed
- 2:07Speaker 1: their security forces to make sure they're in charge of everything,
- 2:11Speaker 1: including stealing the humanitarian aid. Some reports even mentioned executions
- 2:17Speaker 1: in Gaza City as well as armed raids in central
- 2:20Speaker 1: areas of the city. Reports suggested that some executions are
- 2:25Speaker 1: happening in public squares or streets just to make sure
- 2:28Speaker 1: that everyone knows they're still in charge. Now. This also
- 2:33Speaker 1: comes as Israelis said this we'll resume fighting if AMAS
- 2:37Speaker 1: doesn't respect the truce deal, the Israeli Defense Minister threatening
- 2:43Speaker 1: to resume the fighting if AMAS does not honor the
- 2:45Speaker 1: terms of a US back seas fire that halted the
- 2:48Speaker 1: war in Gaza. The statement for the Defense Minister's office
- 2:52Speaker 1: came after Hamas handed over the remains of two more
- 2:56Speaker 1: diseased hostages and said it would be unable to retrieve
- 2:59Speaker 1: any more body from the ruins of Gaza without specialized equipment.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Since Monday, under a ceasefire agreement broken by President Trump,
- 3:08Speaker 1: the Palestinian Islamic Group has handed back twenty surviving hostages
- 3:13Speaker 1: to Israel in exchange for nearly two thousand Palestinian prisoners
- 3:17Speaker 1: freed from Israeli jails. Before the two bodies were handed
- 3:21Speaker 1: over late on Wednesday, Hamas had already returned the remains
- 3:25Speaker 1: of seven of twenty eight known to Seize hostages, along
- 3:28Speaker 1: with an eighth body, which Israel said was not that
- 3:32Speaker 1: of a former hostage. Quote. If Hamas refuses to comply
- 3:36Speaker 1: with the agreement, Israeli, in coordination with the United States,
- 3:40Speaker 1: will resume fighting and act to achieve a total defeat
- 3:43Speaker 1: of Hamas, to change the reality in Gaza and achieve
- 3:47Speaker 1: all the objectives of war, the statement said. Hamas's Armed
- 3:51Speaker 1: Wings said the two bodies returned would be last for now,
- 3:55Speaker 1: falling short of the Plan's demands to hand over all
- 3:59Speaker 1: of them. The Resistance has fulfilled its commitment to the
- 4:02Speaker 1: agreement by handing over all living Israeli prisoners in its
- 4:06Speaker 1: custody as well as the corpses it could access. Is
- 4:10Speaker 1: what the brigades said in a statement on social media.
- 4:14Speaker 1: As for the remaining corpses, it requires extensive effort and
- 4:18Speaker 1: specialized equipment for the retrieval and extraction. We are exerting
- 4:22Speaker 1: great effort in order to close this file, the terrorists
- 4:25Speaker 1: said in the statement. This is likely the pile further
- 4:29Speaker 1: domestic pressure on the Israeli Prime Minister net and Yahoo
- 4:33Speaker 1: to tie humanitarian aid to the fate of the bodies.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Israel's far right national security minister has threatened to cut
- 4:41Speaker 1: off the desperately needed aid supplies to Gaza if Hamas
- 4:45Speaker 1: fails to return the remains of soldiers still held in
- 4:49Speaker 1: the Palestinian territory. Israel meanwhile transferred to another forty five
- 4:54Speaker 1: Palestinian bodies that have been in its custody to the
- 4:58Speaker 1: Nasir Hospital Southern Gaza, bring the number return to ninety
- 5:03Speaker 1: the territories. Hamasr on Health Ministry said in a statement.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Under the Trump Plan, israel Is to return fifteen Palestinian
- 5:11Speaker 1: dead for every deceased Israeli hostage. With a deal underway,
- 5:16Speaker 1: the UN Humanitarian Chief Tom Fletcher urged Israel to immediately
- 5:21Speaker 1: open all crossings into Gaza for humanitarian aid to flow in, saying,
- 5:26Speaker 1: quote it should happen now. We want it to happen
- 5:29Speaker 1: immediately as part of the agreement now. Israel's public broadcaster
- 5:33Speaker 1: kan had reported that the Rafa crossing point to Egypt
- 5:37Speaker 1: would reopen, but this did not happen, and an Israeli
- 5:41Speaker 1: spokesman did not respond to an AFP request for comment. Fletcher,
- 5:46Speaker 1: the UN Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief,
- 5:50Speaker 1: is expected to head to the Rapa crossing on Thursday.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It is the only border point that connects Gaza to
- 5:57Speaker 1: the world without passing through Israel. Quote the tests that
- 6:02Speaker 1: we have children fed, that we have antibiotics in the
- 6:06Speaker 1: hospitals for people and people getting treatment. We have tints
- 6:10Speaker 1: over people's heads, is what Fletcher said. But the reality
- 6:14Speaker 1: is this, the terrorists are now controlling Gaza yet again
- 6:18Speaker 1: and already killing, executing, and torturing people who they believe
- 6:23Speaker 1: were not with them. The entire time that Israel was
- 6:27Speaker 1: defending itself and going after the terrorist organization. So here
- 6:31Speaker 1: we are, just hours after the truth, and the terrorists
- 6:36Speaker 1: that you cannot trust already doing what they do every day,
- 6:40Speaker 1: executing and killing people they disagree with. Every so often,
- 6:44Speaker 1: something happens that reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are.
- 6:48Speaker 1: We can't afford to take our rights for granted. We
- 6:51Speaker 1: must draw a line in the sand, and our friends
- 6:54Speaker 1: at Patriot Mobile have been doing just that for more
- 6:57Speaker 1: than twelve years. The truth is there is only one
- 7:01Speaker 1: provider that boldly stands in the gap for Americans who
- 7:05Speaker 1: believe freedom is worth fighting for, and that company is
- 7:07Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. Not only are they leading the red economy,
- 7:11Speaker 1: they're also outpacing the competition and technology. Patriot Mobile is
- 7:16Speaker 1: one of the only carriers offering premium access to all
- 7:21Speaker 1: three major US networks, giving you nationwide coverage and service
- 7:25Speaker 1: that you can count on day after day. They also
- 7:29Speaker 1: offer unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, internet backup,
- 7:34Speaker 1: in so much more, and switching has never been easier.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You can activate in minutes on your phone from your
- 7:41Speaker 1: home or your office, and you keep your same number
- 7:44Speaker 1: you've got now keep your same phone or upgrade to
- 7:46Speaker 1: a new one. And this is where the magic happens.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Every month, about five percent of your bill is given
- 7:52Speaker 1: back to conservative causes at no extra cost to you
- 7:56Speaker 1: that stand up for our First and our Second Amendment rights,
- 7:59Speaker 1: the rights of unborn children, and are wounded warriors and
- 8:03Speaker 1: those that have fought for a country and wear a badge.
- 8:06Speaker 1: So take a stand today and make a difference with
- 8:09Speaker 1: every call you make. Patriot mobile dot com slash ferguson
- 8:14Speaker 1: or nine seven to two Patriot. Use the promo code
- 8:18Speaker 1: ferguson for a free month of service as well. That's
- 8:22Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot.
- 8:27Speaker 1: And make the switch and make a difference with every
- 8:29Speaker 1: call you make, Which brings me back to another really
- 8:34Speaker 1: problematic issue in the US, and that is there's a
- 8:37Speaker 1: very good chance to the New York City mayor is
- 8:41Speaker 1: going to be a guy by the name of Mundani,
- 8:43Speaker 1: a socialist, a communist, a man that hates the Jews.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Mundani actually refused in an interview today to say if
- 8:51Speaker 1: Hamas should lay down its weapons and give up leadership
- 8:55Speaker 1: in Gaza. This is the man that is going to
- 8:58Speaker 1: be more than likely in charge of New York City
- 9:00Speaker 1: after the upcoming election.
- 9:03Speaker 2: So you've denounced Israel and the United States for the
- 9:06Speaker 2: response to the slaughter on October the seventh. In fact,
- 9:09Speaker 2: at times you've called it a lasting stain the response,
- 9:13Speaker 2: and at times you have left October seventh that of
- 9:16Speaker 2: your statements completely around this issue. Right now, you just
- 9:21Speaker 2: talked about israelis killing some Palestinians, but Hamas is killing
- 9:24Speaker 2: Palestinians within Gaza, and they have not returned the bodies
- 9:30Speaker 2: that they promised to return, including two Americans Eachichen and
- 9:34Speaker 2: omer Neutra, whose families we have interviewed over these months.
- 9:38Speaker 2: So what is your response to what Hamas is doing now?
- 9:42Speaker 3: I think those are bodies and remains that should absolutely
- 9:44Speaker 3: be returned. And I think that I have no issue
- 9:47Speaker 3: with critiquing Hamas or the Israeli government because my critiques
- 9:50Speaker 3: all come from a place of universal human rights. And
- 9:53Speaker 3: my focus, however, is right here in New York City
- 9:55Speaker 3: and transforming the most expensive city in America into one
- 9:57Speaker 3: that's affordable for each and every New Yorker.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Okay, and I want to get to that absolutely, But
- 10:02Speaker 2: do you believe that Hamas should lay down their weapons
- 10:05Speaker 2: and leave the leadership in Gaza.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I believe that any future here in New York City
- 10:10Speaker 3: is one that we have to make sure that's affordable
- 10:12Speaker 3: for all, and as it pertains to Israel and Palestine,
- 10:14Speaker 3: that we have to ensure that there is peace and
- 10:16Speaker 3: that is the future that we have to fight for.
- 10:18Speaker 2: But you won't say that Hamas should lay down their
- 10:20Speaker 2: arms and give up leadership in Gaza.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I don't really have opinions about the future of Hamas
- 10:24Speaker 3: and Israel beyond the question of justice and safety and
- 10:27Speaker 3: the fact that anything has to abide by international law,
- 10:30Speaker 3: and that applies to Hamas, that applies to Israeli military,
- 10:32Speaker 3: applies to anyone you could ask me about.
- 10:34Speaker 1: This isn't the only shocking thing that Mundani had to say.
- 10:38Speaker 1: He also had this to say about benjo Net and
- 10:41Speaker 1: Yahoo and if he decided to come to New York City,
- 10:45Speaker 1: for example, what would he do. Well, here's what he
- 10:48Speaker 1: said about arresting the man who's in charge of Israel
- 10:52Speaker 1: right now.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Emaya Mumdani. Would he welcome Prime Minister to New York
- 10:57Speaker 4: City for the for whatever he come from full given
- 11:00Speaker 4: the US is not the signature to the ICC, so
- 11:03Speaker 4: he can travel to the US unlike a lot of
- 11:05Speaker 4: other countries with a Mam, I'm doney, welcome Benjamin.
- 11:07Speaker 5: To the city.
- 11:08Speaker 3: No, as mayor New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyaho.
- 11:11Speaker 3: This is a city that our values are in line
- 11:14Speaker 3: with international law. It's time that our actions are.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Also, even though the US is not a signature of
- 11:18Speaker 4: the ICC.
- 11:18Speaker 3: No, it's time that we actually step up and make
- 11:20Speaker 3: clear what we are willing to do to showcase the
- 11:22Speaker 3: leadership that is sorely missing in the federal administration.
- 11:25Speaker 1: So there it is. The man who's going to be
- 11:27Speaker 1: in charge of New York City more than likely is
- 11:30Speaker 1: saying that if net and Yahoo steps foot in the city,
- 11:34Speaker 1: he will have the police, the same police that he
- 11:36Speaker 1: says he wants to abolish, arrest the prime Minister of Israel.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And that is what anti Semitism sounds like. The Department
- 11:46Speaker 1: of Homeland Security is now saying there is credible intelligence
- 11:51Speaker 1: and Mexican cartels have disseminated a bounty program, a bounty
- 11:57Speaker 1: program incentivizing as on US federal immigration officers, media briefing
- 12:05Speaker 1: subscribe payouts starting at around two thousand dollars for doxing
- 12:10Speaker 1: or surveillance, and rising to as much as fifty thousand
- 12:14Speaker 1: dollars for assassinations of senior officials. The Department of Holyan
- 12:20Speaker 1: Security publicly condemning a surge in doxing and threats against
- 12:24Speaker 1: ICE personnel and their families, and says it's coordinating with federal, state,
- 12:29Speaker 1: and local partners to counter the threat. The Department of
- 12:33Speaker 1: Homeland Security also announced the arrest in Illinois of a
- 12:37Speaker 1: Latin King gang member accused of placing a hit on
- 12:41Speaker 1: a senior US Border Patrol official. The Department of Holyan
- 12:45Speaker 1: Security highlight the case as part of an escalating threat
- 12:49Speaker 1: and the environment tied to the cartel line actors in
- 12:52Speaker 1: the US. While the case involves border patrol, the Department
- 12:56Speaker 1: of Home in Security we now know that this is
- 12:59Speaker 1: eight hours National security risk. Chicago, by the way, has
- 13:03Speaker 1: been a focal point in recent coverage, with local outlets
- 13:07Speaker 1: there reporting on federal briefings that cartels are working through
- 13:12Speaker 1: the local gangs and offering the local gangs cash bounties
- 13:18Speaker 1: scaled to the agent's rank and the level of harm done.
- 13:22Speaker 1: This coming from Fox thirty two in Chicago. So how
- 13:26Speaker 1: does the bounty system well work. It is a tiered system,
- 13:32Speaker 1: very much like what they use in Mexico, a tiered
- 13:35Speaker 1: incentive system for information gathering and doxing. There is also
- 13:41Speaker 1: incentives for non lethal assaults. Kidnapping attempts get you more money,
- 13:46Speaker 1: and lethal attacks get you paid big time, the payouts
- 13:50Speaker 1: increasing as the chain gets bigger and bigger. The specifics
- 13:54Speaker 1: coming from the Department of Homeland Security briefing and the
- 13:57Speaker 1: Department of Homeland Security's own public statements emphasizing credible intelligence
- 14:03Speaker 1: and a major spike in the threats and the doxing
- 14:06Speaker 1: of our men and women in law enforcement. The tactics
- 14:10Speaker 1: noted in coverage include doxing of the agents, surveilling the
- 14:14Speaker 1: agents and their families, and attempts to ambush personnel, with
- 14:19Speaker 1: the Department of Homeland Security warning of a hostile operating
- 14:22Speaker 1: environment for ice and Customs and Border patrol in certain cities.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Now they're also going into what is being described as
- 14:31Speaker 1: a protective posture and coordination. The Department of Homely in
- 14:35Speaker 1: Security says it's working with the DOJ and local partners
- 14:39Speaker 1: and is urging prompt reporting of threats. It has publicly
- 14:42Speaker 1: condemned the doxing, targeting of agents and families, and operational
- 14:46Speaker 1: security steps are understandably not detailed publicly, But the bottom
- 14:51Speaker 1: line is this we now know and multiple outlets are
- 14:55Speaker 1: reporting that a cartel linked tiered bounty system argating ICE
- 15:00Speaker 1: and CBP officials, with the amounts reported up to fifty
- 15:04Speaker 1: thousand dollars for killing of high ranking officials, is already
- 15:09Speaker 1: in the marketplace. The Department has confirmed a credible threat
- 15:13Speaker 1: environment and highlight at least one arrest tied to the
- 15:16Speaker 1: solicitation to murder of a border patrol not just agent,
- 15:20Speaker 1: but a border patrol leader. Expected heightened security measures and
- 15:24Speaker 1: ongoing geor investigations will be part of this. Here's more
- 15:29Speaker 1: about what the Department of on Land Security said and
- 15:31Speaker 1: how Fox reported it.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Tony General Pambom, who says Facebook has removed the pays
- 15:36Speaker 6: that was being used to target ICE agents in Chicago.
- 15:40Speaker 6: The move comes as the DHS reveals cartels have issued
- 15:43Speaker 6: bounties or hits on offices. Griff Jenkins joins US from
- 15:47Speaker 6: Washington with the latest on this story.
- 15:49Speaker 7: Griff, what do you know, Well, good morning, Lawrence. I
- 15:52Speaker 7: know the threat to ICE and Federal Immigration law enforcement
- 15:55Speaker 7: has never been higher. DHS says there's now this tiered
- 15:58Speaker 7: bounty system set up up by Mexican cartels.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Take a look.
- 16:02Speaker 7: They're offering two thousand for gathering intelligence or dotsing immigration agents,
- 16:07Speaker 7: five to ten grand for kidnapping of standard ICE officers,
- 16:11Speaker 7: and up to fifty thousand dollars for the assassination of
- 16:14Speaker 7: a high ranking officer. This after an alleged Latin Kings
- 16:18Speaker 7: gang member is accused of putting a bounty on Border
- 16:20Speaker 7: Patrols Commander at Large Greg Bavino two thousand on info
- 16:24Speaker 7: on him, ten thousand if you can quote take him
- 16:27Speaker 7: down now. The gang member's attorney denies any ties to
- 16:30Speaker 7: the Latin Kings and paints the man as a quote
- 16:33Speaker 7: hard working family man. But Chief Bavino refused that claim
- 16:37Speaker 7: and says things are actually getting worse.
- 16:40Speaker 8: Riff The Latin Kings are associated with drug cartels to
- 16:44Speaker 8: I terrorist organizations, So those bounties remain and in fact
- 16:48Speaker 8: have actually increased because of this quote hard working man.
- 16:53Speaker 8: It's unbelievable.
- 16:57Speaker 7: Meanwhile, in the wake of anti ICE riots in places
- 16:59Speaker 7: like Chica and Portland, ag Bondie announcing Facebook has removed
- 17:04Speaker 7: an ICE spotting group targeting officers. She writes on x
- 17:07Speaker 7: the wave of violence against ICE has been driven by
- 17:10Speaker 7: online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE
- 17:13Speaker 7: officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department
- 17:17Speaker 7: of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms
- 17:20Speaker 7: where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement. Now,
- 17:25Speaker 7: as spokesperson for Facebook's parent company Meta says the quote,
- 17:29Speaker 7: this group was removed for violating our policies against coordinated harm.
- 17:35Speaker 7: All of this lawrence comes as says, you know, ICE
- 17:38Speaker 7: continues to face a more than one thousand percent increase
- 17:41Speaker 7: in assaults.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Now, we've also learned more about what's happening in Chicago.
- 17:46Speaker 1: For example, Harris Faukner, I was actually in New York
- 17:50Speaker 1: City with her on her show today and this is
- 17:52Speaker 1: what I learned listening.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Boxer's alert. Now, federal agents under siege Immigration and Custom
- 17:59Speaker 5: Enforcement Team are facing a new threat dished out by
- 18:02Speaker 5: the drug cartels. First it was violent protesters rioting and
- 18:06Speaker 5: attacking ICE agents on the streets. Now Homeland Security Department
- 18:10Speaker 5: has announced Mexican cartels have put out bounties on agents
- 18:14Speaker 5: in Chicago. DHS says those cartels are working with gangs
- 18:18Speaker 5: and extremist groups to deploy armed spotters to rooftops to
- 18:23Speaker 5: track agent's movements. I'm Harris Faulkner. You are in the
- 18:26Speaker 5: Faulkner Focus. DHS also revealed a tiered bounty system that
- 18:31Speaker 5: cartels are using to incentivize violence. Now all of this,
- 18:35Speaker 5: according to the DHS, here's the price. Cartels are putting
- 18:38Speaker 5: out two thousand dollars to get information on ICE agents
- 18:43Speaker 5: or to dox them, five to ten thousand dollars to
- 18:46Speaker 5: kidnap or hurt the agents, up to fifty thousand dollars
- 18:50Speaker 5: to assassinate senior officials. Meanwhile, the rioting heating up again.
- 18:55Speaker 5: ICE and Border patrol were forced to use teargas to
- 18:58Speaker 5: protect themselves from a large group of rioters in Chicago yesterday,
- 19:02Speaker 5: Chicago Police Department confirming those rioters were throwing objects at
- 19:06Speaker 5: the ICE agents, a serious federal crime. Still, Illinois Democrats
- 19:11Speaker 5: are going after the ICE agents, maybe even fueling some
- 19:16Speaker 5: of this violence we're seeing. One Democrat state senator posted
- 19:20Speaker 5: ICE's behavior was unacceptable and that people in that neighborhood
- 19:24Speaker 5: quote don't tolerate this kind of bs.
- 19:28Speaker 8: End of quote.
- 19:29Speaker 1: So there you have it. Democrats continuing to advocate for
- 19:32Speaker 1: the assault, the doxing, the attacking of ICE agents. Now
- 19:36Speaker 1: they're literally aligned with the cartels in Mexico. Donald Trump,
- 19:43Speaker 1: after the doxing of ICE agents, is obviously not going
- 19:46Speaker 1: to sit around and allow the cartels to put bounties
- 19:49Speaker 1: on our men and women in uniform, our men and
- 19:52Speaker 1: women protecting our border, our law enforcement officers, and think
- 19:55Speaker 1: they can just get away with it, as they're now
- 19:57Speaker 1: going to war with us. What is as in Trump
- 20:00Speaker 1: doing now, Well, he's next looking quote at land in
- 20:04Speaker 1: Latin America, after the US military has conducted at least
- 20:08Speaker 1: five fatal strikes against alleged drug boats in the Caribbean
- 20:13Speaker 1: since September alone. Quote, we are certainly looking at land
- 20:18Speaker 1: now because we've got the sea very well under control.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Trump told reporters on Wednesday. We've had a couple of
- 20:25Speaker 1: days where there isn't a boat to be found, and
- 20:28Speaker 1: I view that as a good thing, not a bad thing.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Trump said he wasn't interested in having the coastguards simply
- 20:34Speaker 1: stop the alleged drug boats because quote, we've been doing
- 20:38Speaker 1: that for thirty years and it has been totally ineffective.
- 20:43Speaker 1: They referring to the cartels have faster boats. Some of
- 20:46Speaker 1: these boats are seriously, I mean they're world class speedboats,
- 20:50Speaker 1: Trump said. But they're not faster than missiles. But we've
- 20:54Speaker 1: been trying to do that for years. The White House
- 20:57Speaker 1: has not responded to requests for common about what this
- 21:01Speaker 1: means in details of the nature of a land operation
- 21:05Speaker 1: that Trump is considering. Additionally, Trump confirmed that he is
- 21:09Speaker 1: also and this is big news, authorized the CIA to
- 21:14Speaker 1: conduct covert operations in Venezuela after The New York Times
- 21:19Speaker 1: reported on Wednesday that he had approved the order. According
- 21:24Speaker 1: to Trump, he did so because Venezuela has released prisoners
- 21:28Speaker 1: into the US and that drugs were coming into the
- 21:32Speaker 1: US from Venezuela via maritime channels. Trump declined to answer, though,
- 21:36Speaker 1: when asked if the CIA had the authority to quote
- 21:39Speaker 1: unquote takeout the Venezuelan president Maduro, he's nothing more than
- 21:44Speaker 1: a drug kingpin in that country. The Trump administration has
- 21:48Speaker 1: said it does not recognize Madurea as a legitimate head
- 21:52Speaker 1: of state, but a leader of a drug cartel. Quote.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I don't want to answer a question like that, Trump said,
- 21:59Speaker 1: that's a ridiculous question for me to be given not
- 22:02Speaker 1: really a ridiculous question, But wouldn't it be a ridiculous
- 22:05Speaker 1: question for me to answer? But I think Venezuela is
- 22:08Speaker 1: feeling heat now. The Trump administration has adopted a hard
- 22:12Speaker 1: line approach to address the flow of drugs into the
- 22:15Speaker 1: US and designated drug cartel groups like the Trende, Ragua, Sineloa,
- 22:20Speaker 1: and other cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, doing this back
- 22:25Speaker 1: in February. Additionally, the White House sent lawmakers a memo
- 22:30Speaker 1: as well September thirtieth dated, informing them that the US
- 22:36Speaker 1: is now participating in a non international armed conflict with
- 22:42Speaker 1: drug smugglers. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have
- 22:46Speaker 1: also voiced quote concerns over the legality of the strikes.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Senator Adam Shift, a Democrat who's never met a drug
- 22:53Speaker 1: dealer he didn't like, and Tim Kane, the Democrat from Virginia,
- 22:57Speaker 1: have filed a war powers resolution to bar US forces
- 23:01Speaker 1: from engaging in hostilities against certain non state organizations, again
- 23:07Speaker 1: defending the drug cartels that are killing Americans. The resolution
- 23:12Speaker 1: failed in the Senate by a fifty one to forty
- 23:14Speaker 1: eight margin. October eighth, Republican Ran Paul of Kentucky and
- 23:19Speaker 1: Lisa Murkowski Alaska voted alongside their Democratic counterparts in the resolution.
- 23:25Speaker 1: When asked about lawmakers' concerns about the legality of the strikes,
- 23:29Speaker 1: Donald Trump dismissed them and said that lawmakers were informed
- 23:33Speaker 1: the vessels carried drugs. Quote, but they are given information
- 23:39Speaker 1: that they were loaded up with drugs, and that's the
- 23:42Speaker 1: thing that matters. The President said, when they're loaded up
- 23:45Speaker 1: with drugs, their fair game. And every one of those
- 23:48Speaker 1: ships were and they're not ships, their boats that were
- 23:52Speaker 1: loaded up with drugs. So the President of United States
- 23:56Speaker 1: of America making it very clear he's not going to
- 23:59Speaker 1: sit around and wait for more Americans to be killed
- 24:02Speaker 1: by accidental overdoses from fetnel. He's not going to wait
- 24:06Speaker 1: around while cartels are putting bounties on our American law
- 24:10Speaker 1: enforcement heads. He's going to war with these cartels because
- 24:15Speaker 1: he has designated them as terrorists organizations. And this is
- 24:19Speaker 1: exactly what so many conservatives voted for in the last
- 24:23Speaker 1: presidential election, which brings me back to another part of
- 24:27Speaker 1: the story, and this part involves Eric Trump, the president's son,
- 24:31Speaker 1: going on Fox News channel warning about the drug cartels
- 24:36Speaker 1: and how they're poisoning our society with fetnel, and this
- 24:38Speaker 1: is exactly why the president is going after them.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Trump Executive vice President of the Trump Organization and the
- 24:45Speaker 2: author of the new book Under Siege, My Family's Fight
- 24:49Speaker 2: to save our Nation.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Eric.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Always good to see you. Thank you very much for
- 24:52Speaker 2: being here today.
- 24:53Speaker 9: Thank you, Marth.
- 24:54Speaker 2: So what's your reaction to the obviously large National Guard
- 24:58Speaker 2: presence on the ground in chicag And now we're learning
- 25:01Speaker 2: of these efforts by the cartels to take these people out,
- 25:05Speaker 2: to take out US federal agents in Chicago.
- 25:09Speaker 9: We can thank Pritzker for that. I mean, he's had
- 25:11Speaker 9: a war against ice agents this entire time, and it's
- 25:13Speaker 9: truly heartbreaking. I mean, you have the finest men and
- 25:15Speaker 9: women in this country who are going out trying to
- 25:17Speaker 9: get drugs off the street, trying to get fentanyl off
- 25:19Speaker 9: the street, trying to stop the drug traffic, trying to
- 25:21Speaker 9: get bad people out of Chicago. There were seventy shootings
- 25:25Speaker 9: last week in Chicago, Martha, seventy seventy guns went off
- 25:29Speaker 9: in Chicago, with a lot of deaths and destruction. They're
- 25:32Speaker 9: tearing apart our communities, They're tearing apart our children, They're
- 25:35Speaker 9: poisoning our children. They are poisoning our country, and my
- 25:39Speaker 9: father is trying to do something about it. And then
- 25:41Speaker 9: you have cartel members, the very same people who got
- 25:43Speaker 9: to have to get deported by the way, by those
- 25:45Speaker 9: ice officers who are putting bounties on their head because
- 25:47Speaker 9: they're actually bringing peace and civility to cities that have
- 25:51Speaker 9: been out of control for so long, cities that I
- 25:53Speaker 9: should remind you have been run by Democrats in the
- 25:55Speaker 9: case of Chicago for about one hundred years.
- 25:58Speaker 2: You know, it's interesting because for decades we've learned about
- 26:03Speaker 2: local officials on the ground in Mexico, efforts to take
- 26:06Speaker 2: out the cartels by the highest levels of government in Mexico,
- 26:10Speaker 2: and we know what happens. Ultimately the cartels get a
- 26:14Speaker 2: hold of them, they lose their spine for this effort,
- 26:17Speaker 2: and some of them. You know, even at the highest
- 26:20Speaker 2: part of the Mexican government, there was a guy who
- 26:22Speaker 2: was actually an informant to the cartels. And now we
- 26:25Speaker 2: see that this battle that President Trump has taken on
- 26:29Speaker 2: is coming here to the United States. They are obviously
- 26:32Speaker 2: worried about their business.
- 26:34Speaker 9: Yeah, oh, they're beyond worry. They're desperate. My father closed
- 26:37Speaker 9: the border. There is no one coming through the border anymore.
- 26:40Speaker 9: He shut off so much of the drug traffic that
- 26:42Speaker 9: went through the border, and now every single time of
- 26:44Speaker 9: Boco's out of Venezuela, it's get blown up into a
- 26:47Speaker 9: million pieces, Martha. That's exactly what's happening every single day.
- 26:50Speaker 9: I personally have four friends that have lost children to fentanyl.
- 26:54Speaker 9: Is this is real life for all of us. I mean,
- 26:56Speaker 9: there's probably not a single person watching you and I
- 26:58Speaker 9: right now, Martha. I'm sure you know that haven't lost
- 27:01Speaker 9: children or sisters, or brothers, or husbands or wives two fentanyls.
- 27:05Speaker 9: So oftentimes unintentionally, they are poisoning our society. They are
- 27:09Speaker 9: doing it on purpose, and they are making a fortune.
- 27:12Speaker 9: And my father will not stand for it. And honestly,
- 27:14Speaker 9: he's an anti war guy, he always has been. But
- 27:17Speaker 9: you better believe this is a fight worth having. This
- 27:20Speaker 9: is a fight that the country wants us to have.
- 27:23Speaker 9: We can't poison our youth, we can't poison our society,
- 27:25Speaker 9: we can't poison our families, we can't corrupt our streets.
- 27:29Speaker 9: We must stop the shooting. And he has a recipe
- 27:31Speaker 9: for it, Martha. It's called Washington, d C. Right in
- 27:34Speaker 9: twelve days, they arrested forty three hundred people and there
- 27:37Speaker 9: is no crime in Washington, d C. People went from
- 27:40Speaker 9: being a petrify to walk down the streets to being
- 27:43Speaker 9: freely roaming through through Washington. It shows that you can
- 27:46Speaker 9: do it if you have a little backbone, and you
- 27:48Speaker 9: have a little tenacity, and you have a little bit
- 27:50Speaker 9: of guts. Everything that JB. Pritzker does not have, and
- 27:54Speaker 9: everything that so many leaders in these democratic controlled cities
- 27:58Speaker 9: all over the country do not have, My father has it.
- 28:01Speaker 1: He's doing the job, the president's son there making it
- 28:04Speaker 1: clear that this is something the administration is going to
- 28:07Speaker 1: be focusing on and warning every American the drug cartels
- 28:11Speaker 1: are not only poisoning our society with fetanyel, but they're
- 28:14Speaker 1: also going after our ice agents and their families. And
- 28:18Speaker 1: this is exactly why Donald Trump is going to war
- 28:21Speaker 1: with all of them right now. Don't forget share this
- 28:24Speaker 1: podcast please with your family and your friends wherever they are,
- 28:28Speaker 1: and I will see you back here tomorrow.
