- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and it's too good. Guys together, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You got turn out? You're going
- 1:10Speaker 1: to do? You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out, then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your tha uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will good morning everybody, y'all listening to the bars,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me not wanting on it. Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show, Man on Man on man, grateful
- 2:14Speaker 1: for it comes with a huge amount of responsibility. I
- 2:18Speaker 1: didn't really know I was gonna have to be this responsible,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you know, Um, can I share something with y'all? I
- 2:24Speaker 1: started out to Finally I had gotten on track and
- 2:28Speaker 1: was able to see a way to even pursue my dream.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It has been a long, a long trip that I've
- 2:36Speaker 1: been on, and I've gone through so many phases of it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams.
- 2:45Speaker 1: What I'm saying is this, let me, let me put
- 2:48Speaker 1: it together because I got so much running through my
- 2:50Speaker 1: head right now. You know, it's it's one thing to
- 2:53Speaker 1: accomplish your dream, But there's joy in the process of
- 2:59Speaker 1: achieving it. See, some people are so caught up in
- 3:03Speaker 1: the goal, the final goal, that they find no joy,
- 3:09Speaker 1: no enjoyment in the process. If you have found what
- 3:15Speaker 1: it is you want to do and you strike out
- 3:19Speaker 1: on that journey, please understand you are far more blessed
- 3:24Speaker 1: than the average person to know what it is you
- 3:28Speaker 1: really want to do. To find your work in life,
- 3:32Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
- 3:37Speaker 1: go in is such a blessing. The average person, if
- 3:41Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
- 3:45Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
- 3:47Speaker 1: you're looking at you think God it going on because
- 3:50Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger, or they walk like it,
- 3:54Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
- 3:56Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, the
- 3:59Speaker 1: average person man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:04Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
- 4:08Speaker 1: no idea how to get there. If you are on
- 4:10Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
- 4:15Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
- 4:18Speaker 1: and you are on your way there, you are truly blessed.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And in that blessing. You must recognize it as a blessing.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are on the
- 4:32Speaker 1: right side, and that there should be a sense of
- 4:34Speaker 1: accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you that you
- 4:39Speaker 1: are on track to accomplish your goal. See what used
- 4:43Speaker 1: to happen was sometimes I used to keep my nose
- 4:46Speaker 1: so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even look up
- 4:50Speaker 1: and realize. Man, hey, man, I know you're trying to
- 4:53Speaker 1: get here, but Steve, hold on, man, can't you see
- 4:57Speaker 1: what you've done so far? Can't you find there's some
- 5:00Speaker 1: joy in the process. See, a lot of us lose
- 5:03Speaker 1: the joy of the blessings God has given us because
- 5:06Speaker 1: we're looking at the end. Tomot, I ain't there yet.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You on your way. I'm gonna give you an example.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I had a friend who told me that they wanted
- 5:16Speaker 1: to be a million now, and they asked me some
- 5:19Speaker 1: questions and I told him, so they started the process,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and I am telling you, this dude works extremely hard.
- 5:30Speaker 1: So about a year later we were talking. He had
- 5:34Speaker 1: found this business, he had set his goal, and he
- 5:41Speaker 1: was working towards it. Then about two years later I
- 5:44Speaker 1: ran up into him again. We were talking about it
- 5:46Speaker 1: and everything. It's a man. Really really appreciate the advice.
- 5:49Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is all jacked up, man,
- 5:53Speaker 1: because I still ain't made that million I was talking about.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I said, well, hey, man, just just keep at it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It's coming. He's a man. Keep at it. Man. You
- 6:02Speaker 1: know how long I've been doing this? Been two years now.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And I didn't say that to him, but I said
- 6:07Speaker 1: to myself, yeah, two years. He said, Man, I've been
- 6:10Speaker 1: grinding so long. Man, it's just it ain't having it
- 6:13Speaker 1: from me. I said, wait a minute, man, hold on,
- 6:16Speaker 1: hold on. I said, about how much you're making right
- 6:19Speaker 1: now a year? Man, about two hundred and fifty thousand.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I quit breathing. I said, well, my man, two years
- 6:29Speaker 1: ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later, you're
- 6:34Speaker 1: making a quarter of a million dollars. I said, man,
- 6:38Speaker 1: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, man,
- 6:41Speaker 1: your family was about to get put out two years ago.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You don't bought a house? Yeah, man, but this ain't
- 6:49Speaker 1: the house. I really won't. Ohh Pardner, whoa, I got that.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I got that house. You really won't make Mike call
- 6:56Speaker 1: five eight million. I don't know but man, all got
- 7:00Speaker 1: a house, you're making a payments, you drive it. You
- 7:02Speaker 1: ain't out no more. I said, hold on, man, you
- 7:04Speaker 1: got to stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
- 7:07Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you coming across as real
- 7:09Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. And so he said, man, why are
- 7:12Speaker 1: you tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: nobody want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa man,
- 7:17Speaker 1: where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
- 7:21Speaker 1: and ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to
- 7:23Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started on,
- 7:27Speaker 1: that you are on your way, and you are in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals. And can you not
- 7:32Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
- 7:37Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million yet.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
- 7:42Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen thousand dollars a year. You
- 7:44Speaker 1: making quarter of a million dollars in two years. May
- 7:46Speaker 1: come on, man, can't you see? Can't you see? So
- 7:50Speaker 1: he said eventually a man, I kind of see what
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
- 7:55Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
- 8:00Speaker 1: How you doing, man, Man, I showed, wish I'd appreciate
- 8:04Speaker 1: it my life when I had it like that? I said,
- 8:06Speaker 1: what you mean, had it like that? Man? Just fell
- 8:09Speaker 1: on some hard times, Man, I'm right back why I was.
- 8:14Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, hey, man, don't worry
- 8:16Speaker 1: about it. I said, Once you know how to accomplish something,
- 8:18Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
- 8:20Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
- 8:23Speaker 1: or be to start over. Okay, my man, Hold up, partner,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you can't do yourself like this again. First you wasn't
- 8:29Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
- 8:32Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
- 8:33Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. Maybe God said, okay,
- 8:38Speaker 1: you ain't happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way?
- 8:42Speaker 1: You obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it
- 8:45Speaker 1: into your life. You want to handle it your weight,
- 8:47Speaker 1: Go ahead and handle it because he will let you
- 8:49Speaker 1: have it your way. Can I tell you that he
- 8:51Speaker 1: will let you do it exactly the way you want
- 8:53Speaker 1: to it because He gives us all the power of choice.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
- 8:59Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
- 9:01Speaker 1: showing you. You think it's take it too long. I'm
- 9:03Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
- 9:07Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say. Maybe he said that,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and now he right back where it was. So what
- 9:13Speaker 1: I try to get the young cat to understand was, man,
- 9:16Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is. Because like life,
- 9:20Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Still I still believe it could have been worse. And
- 9:27Speaker 1: now that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
- 9:31Speaker 1: If you are on that side of life where you
- 9:34Speaker 1: have figured out what you want to do, you know
- 9:36Speaker 1: how you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You're accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't
- 9:45Speaker 1: throw yourself off the cliff. It's gonna be all right.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Success takes a measure of time. It is not easy.
- 9:53Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. You're listening
- 9:58Speaker 1: to show ladies, and gentlemen, here we are. It is
- 10:04Speaker 1: time for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And who better
- 10:09Speaker 1: can tell me and wake you up to what time
- 10:11Speaker 1: it is than the legendary brother duo of Casey and
- 10:18Speaker 1: Joe Joe. Here is their version of It's time. It's
- 10:23Speaker 1: slipping away from me? Yeah, Hi, slipping away man. Hi,
- 10:40Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, ask Casey and Joe Joe's Internet version
- 10:44Speaker 1: of life. I heard it the other day and I
- 10:50Speaker 1: think I stopped saying it all day yesterday. And if
- 10:54Speaker 1: you want to, just them two in the studio and
- 10:58Speaker 1: it sounds exactly like keep flipping away, Rob Stupid. So
- 11:14Speaker 1: that's how we're doing it this morning. I couldn't I
- 11:20Speaker 1: couldn't stop saying, Ladies, Jim, Charley Strawberry, callin for real
- 11:24Speaker 1: mouth the South, Junior and the legend of Nephew Tommy
- 11:28Speaker 1: My people been riding with me, Junior. What's on your
- 11:31Speaker 1: mind to day? Let me ask this, how old was
- 11:34Speaker 1: you uncle when you discovered the power of no? I mean,
- 11:37Speaker 1: you know, the terrible tools is when children first started
- 11:40Speaker 1: doing no. That's when I discovered the consequences of note.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Because I wasn't raised in the family where we weren't
- 11:50Speaker 1: alive to have terrible twos. Terrible twos was a very
- 11:55Speaker 1: short time for me. I think mine was two days.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I had two days until the two before I found out, Hey,
- 12:03Speaker 1: you you ain't white, get yourself together. Now, as I
- 12:10Speaker 1: grew older, it's crazy, I understood the power of no.
- 12:15Speaker 1: What I first started liking girls, and that was early
- 12:21Speaker 1: in my life because, and I tell people, I never
- 12:24Speaker 1: went through the phase of not liking girls. I never ever,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I can't remember not liking little girls kindergarten. I had
- 12:32Speaker 1: valentized cause I had little sweethearts. I wanted a girlfriend
- 12:36Speaker 1: from the time I could remember. I never went through
- 12:38Speaker 1: the faith girls what. So asking a girl to be
- 12:45Speaker 1: your valentine and them saying no was devastate. But what
- 12:54Speaker 1: I learned was it made me won't one even more.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And so the power of no gives you a moment
- 13:05Speaker 1: of pause, a moment to understand your true power. And
- 13:11Speaker 1: it also taught me the value of things. And that's
- 13:15Speaker 1: how I learned about no. From the little girl who
- 13:19Speaker 1: did not want to be my valentine. You know how
- 13:21Speaker 1: you checked the block be my Valentine? Yes? Yeah? And
- 13:24Speaker 1: I got back six of them cars and five of
- 13:26Speaker 1: them head no owner. Yeah, you know, I was playing
- 13:31Speaker 1: a numbers game back then. I just didn't want all right,
- 13:36Speaker 1: coming up next at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 1: we'll run that break back the nephew right after that. Man,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening, all right, It is time now, guys for
- 13:50Speaker 1: the nephew and run that break back. What you're running
- 13:53Speaker 1: back today? Now what you got barely? I come humbling
- 13:56Speaker 1: stupid this morning. I come bearing nothing but stupid to
- 14:04Speaker 1: Tim in the best form of comedy that I can
- 14:16Speaker 1: h present this right here is Jean. I got your girl, Jean,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I got your girl, cat dog. If you whod hello,
- 14:36Speaker 1: sweet of Jean, my name Vernon brother was playing. What's
- 14:40Speaker 1: going on? I need to huh let you for a minute,
- 14:42Speaker 1: my man. I want to let you about your wife.
- 14:45Speaker 1: So you got a minute. Yeah, I'm listening. I don't
- 14:48Speaker 1: even know how to break this to your dog. I
- 14:49Speaker 1: just want to be straight up with you, man, Me
- 14:51Speaker 1: and your wife have been kind of seeing each other,
- 14:54Speaker 1: and really she want to let you go. But she ain't,
- 14:58Speaker 1: you know, she really ain't out of it, got it
- 15:01Speaker 1: up in it to say she want to let you go.
- 15:03Speaker 1: So I'm coming to you like a man and letting
- 15:06Speaker 1: you know, you know that she really wanted to shut
- 15:10Speaker 1: it down with you. We've been seeing each other for
- 15:11Speaker 1: a minute now, so I don't know how we can.
- 15:15Speaker 1: You know, I'm just coming at you like a man brother,
- 15:18Speaker 1: trying to let you know she don't even really want
- 15:20Speaker 1: you no more. You know, we've ben't talked about it,
- 15:23Speaker 1: talked about it, and I'm just trying to get it all.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I know. I'm tired. I'm tired of hiding with it. Really, okay, okay,
- 15:33Speaker 1: Well you know it's a lot smoother than I expected. Player,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I man, it is what it is. It is what
- 15:40Speaker 1: it is. I mean, as long as long as you
- 15:42Speaker 1: as long as you cool, I thought, you know, I
- 15:44Speaker 1: just want to be a man called how I let
- 15:46Speaker 1: you let you know. Have you seen her today? And
- 15:48Speaker 1: where are you from? From Jersey? I'm up around Nork.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I mean, you said it's a lot smoother than you
- 15:55Speaker 1: thought I was gonna be. Well, you know, anytime I'm
- 15:58Speaker 1: another man from the car, another man about his wife.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you don't expect it to be nothing,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you know, pretty simple, that's for sure. I didn't contemplate
- 16:06Speaker 1: it a long time by calling you saw you know,
- 16:08Speaker 1: the day I just said to head whatever, I get
- 16:10Speaker 1: my number. So I've been hand your number. I had
- 16:14Speaker 1: your number a long time. All right, now you say
- 16:22Speaker 1: you're looking U there's a lot smoother than you thought
- 16:24Speaker 1: its gonna be. It ain't that smood. But you know
- 16:27Speaker 1: you don't want you know, the thing is, you got
- 16:30Speaker 1: one up on it because you know my information. Now
- 16:32Speaker 1: I's gonna come find you. Okay, wait wait wait wait
- 16:35Speaker 1: wait wait wait hold up? Now good? You feel like no,
- 16:39Speaker 1: hold up, okay, you feel like you need to be
- 16:42Speaker 1: looking for me or something. Brother, Look look ahead, let's
- 16:45Speaker 1: check this out. This is a decision that the wife
- 16:47Speaker 1: has made. You understand what I'm saying. So you have
- 16:50Speaker 1: no reason to be mad at me about anything. You
- 16:52Speaker 1: have no reason to be coming looking for me or
- 16:54Speaker 1: any information on me, because see, when that happens, then
- 16:57Speaker 1: it's gonna really get stinky up in here. And I'm
- 16:59Speaker 1: trying not to let that happen. That's why I'm calling
- 17:01Speaker 1: you like a man. Brother. Trust me, Man, ain't nothing
- 17:04Speaker 1: that I'm never worried about. Okay, Well, I'm just letting
- 17:07Speaker 1: you know, man, I'm letting you know up front sheet
- 17:09Speaker 1: with me and how contemplated a long time y'all to y'alla,
- 17:12Speaker 1: so now you know here we are. So I said,
- 17:14Speaker 1: you know, what the hell with it? I'm calling to
- 17:16Speaker 1: day y'all should have did this on the phone together.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I respect both of y'all a lot more. Okay, Well,
- 17:22Speaker 1: you know, and then you know, if that's what it's
- 17:24Speaker 1: got to be, we be face to face together whatever
- 17:26Speaker 1: it's gotta be, man. Okay, So, but but let me
- 17:30Speaker 1: ask you this here where it's going in. Once we're
- 17:33Speaker 1: both staying flat footed and tell you how it is.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Then what I ain't gonna never be flat footed? Okay?
- 17:39Speaker 1: What flat footed or upside down ain't where you want
- 17:42Speaker 1: to look at it. Bro. I'm trying not to get
- 17:44Speaker 1: into this physical part, but it seemed like you're leaning
- 17:46Speaker 1: that way with me. It could be whatever you know.
- 17:49Speaker 1: It could be on this side of the other side.
- 17:51Speaker 1: And don't make it difference. It never does, brother, It
- 17:54Speaker 1: never does. When two bulls come together, one of them
- 17:56Speaker 1: got to go down. No, guess what we are doing
- 17:59Speaker 1: too much? You got my information. Guess what Now I'm
- 18:02Speaker 1: lock loaded than hunter for you. You lock and loaded.
- 18:06Speaker 1: There's no need for you to say there's no need
- 18:07Speaker 1: for us discussing anymore. Okay, cool, you know why why
- 18:10Speaker 1: we at it? Man, let me go and drop it
- 18:12Speaker 1: all on you then, because it's it seemed like we
- 18:15Speaker 1: need to go and get it all out the way.
- 18:17Speaker 1: You cool? You know what I'm saying. I think you
- 18:19Speaker 1: need you know, matter of fact, if you want to
- 18:21Speaker 1: just keep it all the way real, you might want
- 18:23Speaker 1: to go take a blood test about a line and
- 18:25Speaker 1: make sure you to Papa to that. All right, feel me?
- 18:31Speaker 1: Got it? So I'm gonna have your wife getting your car, man,
- 18:39Speaker 1: because we didn't contemplate it or too long and it's time. Yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 1: you do that. You know my information? Like I said,
- 18:44Speaker 1: you said enough, you're hit enough bones yet now I'm
- 18:47Speaker 1: really loading hunter for somebody. So you know what I mean,
- 18:52Speaker 1: somebody's got to go. What you mean? Wait? Wait, what
- 18:55Speaker 1: was all this? Somebody got to go? What you're saying,
- 18:59Speaker 1: somebody got to go? Okay, you're trying about either me
- 19:03Speaker 1: or you. One of us got to go because you're
- 19:05Speaker 1: saying the wrong thing. Because what you must understand is
- 19:07Speaker 1: if I've given you as much information as I already have,
- 19:09Speaker 1: that means I have enough information to know where you
- 19:11Speaker 1: are brother. You know nothing about me norway I reside.
- 19:15Speaker 1: So if you're gonna talk about locking load and somebody
- 19:17Speaker 1: got to go, then you're saying it to the wrong person,
- 19:19Speaker 1: because I'm already up on you. Player. You got a
- 19:22Speaker 1: first off, they ain't really annoyed because it got a
- 19:25Speaker 1: country action. So second off, like you've done them on
- 19:28Speaker 1: the real street. So however you want to handle it,
- 19:31Speaker 1: you know my information. Guess what, I don't reside in
- 19:33Speaker 1: the more. I ain't doing more and that's what. Now
- 19:35Speaker 1: you've got to start from scratch like me. He'll go
- 19:39Speaker 1: to math. Man, you're ready for that. You're ready for
- 19:42Speaker 1: this math, You're ready to player, He'll go to math.
- 19:46Speaker 1: This nephew, Timmy from the Steve Harvey mart And Show.
- 19:49Speaker 1: You've been pranked by your wife? Yeah, black man until
- 19:55Speaker 1: I but you you kind of had me scared for
- 19:58Speaker 1: a minute because you really wasn't flinching. You whatever you
- 20:00Speaker 1: eating over there, you never did stop eating on it. Oh,
- 20:03Speaker 1: I ain't gonna stop eating. I'm keeping I listen to
- 20:06Speaker 1: you every morning. What's the baddest radio morning show in
- 20:09Speaker 1: the land, Steve Harvey Show. What y'all think? Oh? I mean,
- 20:14Speaker 1: you know that's a run that prank back you're here
- 20:16Speaker 1: to yesterday? But what what? What do you really think?
- 20:19Speaker 1: He don't prank a gangster? What? What? What? What? Vastly
- 20:25Speaker 1: while they're eating, Yeah, thanks's knee pranking too. He never
- 20:31Speaker 1: stopped chewing. I was scared for you, still am. If
- 20:38Speaker 1: you want another I prank from a distance. You know
- 20:42Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I don't nobody, Thank you, thank you
- 20:46Speaker 1: for that. Coming up next, it has Asked the CLO
- 20:49Speaker 1: with our Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building,
- 20:52Speaker 1: ready for your love questions. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:57Speaker 1: morning show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:00Speaker 1: we have a very special guest. R and B superstar
- 21:04Speaker 1: Tank will be joining us. He needs to talk about
- 21:07Speaker 1: his brand new album and his final album. It's called
- 21:10Speaker 1: R and B Money. But right now, can't wait for that.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Right now, it is time for Ask the CLO Chief
- 21:16Speaker 1: Love Officer Steve Harvey right here for you, all right.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Teresa in Long Beach writes, I have a male friend
- 21:24Speaker 1: that brought me a lot of nice jewelry and he
- 21:26Speaker 1: helped me get a car. I wanted to date him exclusively,
- 21:30Speaker 1: but he didn't want that. Now if I miss his
- 21:32Speaker 1: call or don't want to go out with him. He
- 21:35Speaker 1: loves to mention what he's given me. I am not
- 21:37Speaker 1: given any of the gifts back, So how do I
- 21:41Speaker 1: deal with him? No? Are you kidding me? You know
- 21:45Speaker 1: why he gave you to Gilts. You know what he
- 21:49Speaker 1: wanted when he gave you the guilt. You know what
- 21:52Speaker 1: you did to get to Gilts. So now what's the deal.
- 21:59Speaker 1: You don't want him exclusively? She said, she don't want
- 22:02Speaker 1: him exclusively. No, he doesn't want her. He doesn't want
- 22:05Speaker 1: to date. She wanted to date him exclusively. He doesn't
- 22:08Speaker 1: want that. Okay, so what does she want now? Sure,
- 22:12Speaker 1: maybe I'll misunderstood the question. Well, she you know he
- 22:17Speaker 1: doesn't want that, so she's gone on with her life.
- 22:19Speaker 1: She he doesn't want her to miss a phone call
- 22:23Speaker 1: or she if she can't go out with him or
- 22:25Speaker 1: doesn't want to go out with him, then he'll mention
- 22:27Speaker 1: you know, well I bought you this, I bought It's
- 22:29Speaker 1: just like thank you, always be gracious, thank you. I
- 22:34Speaker 1: really appreciate it. I'm enjoying the jewelry, I'm loving the car,
- 22:39Speaker 1: but I want more, and until you are willing to
- 22:43Speaker 1: give me more then this is what I'm giving you.
- 22:48Speaker 1: You want the rest of it, just like he wants
- 22:51Speaker 1: the rest of it. Well, if you've given all you're
- 22:54Speaker 1: gonna gill, then you got to draw a line with
- 22:57Speaker 1: all you gonna give. And it's fair that way. I'd
- 23:01Speaker 1: love to not miss your call and call you right back.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But it's not because you bought things. I wanted it
- 23:07Speaker 1: because I wanted an exclusive relationship. You don't want an
- 23:10Speaker 1: exclusive relationship. Then when your phone rang, I might be
- 23:14Speaker 1: doing something else. But I love you though, and I
- 23:17Speaker 1: wish we could be. But obviously it's not what you want.
- 23:21Speaker 1: You're not getting your gifts back. No, no, you can't
- 23:24Speaker 1: get none of this stuff back now. But stay that's right,
- 23:33Speaker 1: that's a that's a good point, Steve. That's a good point. Um.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Justine and Paramas says, I'm dating a man that has
- 23:41Speaker 1: two small dogs and he expects me to love them
- 23:44Speaker 1: as much as he does. They're his ex wife's dogs
- 23:47Speaker 1: that he's keeping for her because she's developed allergies. He
- 23:52Speaker 1: needs to cut ties with her and the dogs. Am
- 23:55Speaker 1: I wrong? Nope? No, no, no, nobody damn about some
- 24:00Speaker 1: dogs but him and huh no, Now you got to
- 24:05Speaker 1: love something that he supposedly used to love the ex wife,
- 24:11Speaker 1: and now she still got control and ties to him
- 24:15Speaker 1: through them too. Damn dogs. Now you got to get
- 24:18Speaker 1: in their relationship and he wants you to love the
- 24:20Speaker 1: dogs that really belonged to her. That this sounds so
- 24:24Speaker 1: stupid to me. If I was you, I just go, hey,
- 24:28Speaker 1: listen to me. It's the dogs on me and it's
- 24:31Speaker 1: real silfle cool. I choose me because I don't like
- 24:37Speaker 1: the tide that keeps you bound to that. And obviously
- 24:40Speaker 1: you're not ready to move on because you know they
- 24:43Speaker 1: got kennels all as we love the dogs like family.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Well they ain't, damn it. You know they just like kids.
- 24:50Speaker 1: No they not dogs. Is not like kids. No they don't. No, no, No,
- 24:56Speaker 1: I've had both. It ain't close. And you begged to differ,
- 25:03Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Emberley in Chattanooga, Emberley writes,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I went on a first date with a guy that
- 25:09Speaker 1: only drinks wine. I don't drink wine. When I ordered
- 25:13Speaker 1: a mixed drink, he commented that classy women drink wine.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I only had one drink, but he drank a whole
- 25:20Speaker 1: bottle of wine, So how can he judge me? Am?
- 25:24Speaker 1: I not classy for ordering what I like to drink?
- 25:27Speaker 1: Is it a turn off for men? Wine has nothing
- 25:30Speaker 1: to do with you being classy or not. It has
- 25:33Speaker 1: nothing to do. It's nothing wrong with you have in
- 25:36Speaker 1: a cocktails. That's a rule. He came a wit because
- 25:40Speaker 1: that's what he drink. Classy women drank wine. Well, then
- 25:44Speaker 1: some people say classy women don't drink at all, and
- 25:47Speaker 1: then some people can say classy women only drink martinis
- 25:51Speaker 1: or Cosmo. Who is this food coming along? Because it's alcohol.
- 25:57Speaker 1: It's a damn glass alcohol right now? Which one you like? Business?
- 26:03Speaker 1: He drank a whole bottle of wine. And then you
- 26:06Speaker 1: want to just tell him real men drink Scotch and
- 26:09Speaker 1: see what he's say. Oh, I like it. I like it.
- 26:13Speaker 1: You know, real men drink bourbon. See what he's say.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Because I ain't got no friends except one. It used
- 26:21Speaker 1: to every time order glass of shamblee everywhere we went.
- 26:26Speaker 1: He wanted to get glass of shabbleep. But let me
- 26:29Speaker 1: tell you something. He was all the man you could
- 26:31Speaker 1: won't And I'll say something to him, crazy, get slapped
- 26:35Speaker 1: with the bottle of shably. That's how he was. And
- 26:40Speaker 1: I've seen it almost happened before. All right, so moving on,
- 26:46Speaker 1: this is our last one. Steve Lexie and Gaithersburg says,
- 26:49Speaker 1: my sixteen year old daughter has a body like a
- 26:53Speaker 1: thirty five year old woman, but she acts like a
- 26:56Speaker 1: nerdy kid. I'm seeing text messages on her phone from
- 27:00Speaker 1: read different boys. She loves the attention. But I burst
- 27:03Speaker 1: her bubble and told her what boys really want. She's
- 27:07Speaker 1: very upset with me, and how do I fix this?
- 27:09Speaker 1: You don't what are you trying to fix it? For?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Truth is truth? You know? My daddy always told me this,
- 27:18Speaker 1: he says, son, if somebody, if you tell somebody the
- 27:22Speaker 1: truth and they don't believe you, that ain't your fault. Yeah,
- 27:27Speaker 1: so now I've had to tell my children the truth.
- 27:32Speaker 1: My daughter, she was telling me dad, he just want
- 27:35Speaker 1: to be friends. Girls. Stops, dumbass boy want to be
- 27:40Speaker 1: your friend. Fault. You don't play video game, you don't
- 27:43Speaker 1: play no sport, you don't do nothing he do. Now
- 27:48Speaker 1: you could do something he want to do, and that's
- 27:51Speaker 1: why y'all friends. But right now you currently don't do
- 27:54Speaker 1: anything he do with his friend. Nothing in common. So now, no,
- 28:00Speaker 1: you don't fix it. You stay persistent and you teach
- 28:05Speaker 1: and if you can get one of your brothers or
- 28:08Speaker 1: uncles to come in here and double down on what
- 28:12Speaker 1: you just said so she'll understand. All boys want the
- 28:16Speaker 1: same thing. My job was just to make it hard
- 28:21Speaker 1: for you to get it over here. That's all. I
- 28:25Speaker 1: put a wall around my daughters. Now. Now I can't
- 28:29Speaker 1: do nothing with it now, but I had a wall
- 28:31Speaker 1: around them when they lived at the house, and I
- 28:33Speaker 1: made it difficult to get to. I know what you want.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I know what you want. I know their last one
- 28:38Speaker 1: of y'all want. I just like her cause we're friend.
- 28:40Speaker 1: What's your ass out of here than you're talking to like?
- 28:44Speaker 1: I ain't been a boy at the folks man. Please
- 28:48Speaker 1: all right, Cello nailed it today. Thank you. Coming up
- 28:52Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, Steve, family member and
- 28:55Speaker 1: friend of the show Tank right after you. You're listening,
- 29:00Speaker 1: she show Hey, y'all, that's promise. We got special guests
- 29:06Speaker 1: this morning. We got a family member. We've actually been
- 29:09Speaker 1: around for the release of all his album and today
- 29:14Speaker 1: he's dropping his tenth and final album of his career.
- 29:18Speaker 1: But Lord her Mercy, this boy can say, yes, he's
- 29:21Speaker 1: a singer, he's a songwriter, actor, all around talented brother,
- 29:26Speaker 1: and we invited him so he could introl the new
- 29:28Speaker 1: album here on the show because he's family. So we're
- 29:31Speaker 1: gonna get into it. Ladies and general, please put your
- 29:34Speaker 1: hands together for family member, our man Tank. Come on now,
- 29:47Speaker 1: come on yeah, yeah, yeah, take a celebrators, now, come
- 29:58Speaker 1: on get to Yeah. Let me have flowers while I
- 30:04Speaker 1: can stroll. Hey, how you being? Man? I've been good man.
- 30:09Speaker 1: You know, it's been a long time coming in y'all.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Y'all have beenness to day one, just like you said, man,
- 30:15Speaker 1: and the love and the support has been unwavering. And
- 30:20Speaker 1: you know I expect that same same support and love
- 30:23Speaker 1: as I moved into this new chapter of just doing
- 30:25Speaker 1: more things man, and just trying to keep R and
- 30:27Speaker 1: B in the place where I know, I know it
- 30:30Speaker 1: should be. Well, we appreciate it, man. We got this
- 30:33Speaker 1: new one now, this is the final album. It's called
- 30:37Speaker 1: R and B Money. It's got two number one singles already.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Why don't you tell us about this new music? Man?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Is this classic Tank with the ballance what we're looking at? Yeah? Man,
- 30:48Speaker 1: you know, you know you you made that tape back
- 30:50Speaker 1: in the day that's set the mood tape. You know
- 30:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It was uninterrupted. Yeah, you know, so
- 30:56Speaker 1: you so you could get some real work done, you
- 30:59Speaker 1: know what I mean? Kind of really, boy boy, you
- 31:04Speaker 1: could focus as soon as soon as you press play.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Nobody really had to say anything because the intentions were
- 31:10Speaker 1: clear based on the music in the in the mood,
- 31:13Speaker 1: and the tone of what that music was saying. So
- 31:17Speaker 1: for the first I want to say, nine songs, somebody's
- 31:21Speaker 1: in trouble, you know, somebody's somebody's gonna get touched. Hey man, Yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 1: you got to say somebody heard in a long time?
- 31:31Speaker 1: What Yeah, Yeah, there'll be some touching and some agreeing. Uh,
- 31:35Speaker 1: because we we gotta agree. We have to agree. Ain't
- 31:38Speaker 1: agree all nine clear? Thing clear. But from the tone
- 31:45Speaker 1: of the album, from song number one through nine, everybody
- 31:49Speaker 1: hit know what need to occur? No, what need to
- 31:56Speaker 1: We're in here. You you know what you see is
- 32:01Speaker 1: stop all this. We gotta get back to that. We
- 32:04Speaker 1: got to get focused, you know what I mean. And
- 32:06Speaker 1: R and B music has always been a place that
- 32:08Speaker 1: you could go to to, you know, to to introduce yourself. Hey,
- 32:13Speaker 1: how you doing, I'm such and such for you know,
- 32:16Speaker 1: to reintroduce yourself. I know you remember me, you know
- 32:19Speaker 1: what I mean, or to just rekindle um that flame
- 32:24Speaker 1: and music would have that conversation for you that you
- 32:28Speaker 1: probably didn't know how to have yourself. So I just
- 32:31Speaker 1: you know, for this first three quarters of this album,
- 32:33Speaker 1: I wanted to be able to speak into those relationships,
- 32:38Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, and speaking to those moments
- 32:41Speaker 1: m uninterrupted uninterrupted break. We started talking about Slow, so
- 32:46Speaker 1: we're about to hear it now. Tank set up Slow
- 32:49Speaker 1: for me in the LS play. Slow is really amazing record,
- 32:52Speaker 1: a record that you know, I can proudly say I
- 32:54Speaker 1: didn't write or produce, But when I heard this record,
- 32:58Speaker 1: I said, these young fellas is onto something and in
- 33:01Speaker 1: a space R and B music needs to be in
- 33:04Speaker 1: because you know, we got to get back to taking
- 33:06Speaker 1: our time. Social media has spared us up and we
- 33:10Speaker 1: no longer take the time to appreciate the nuances, you
- 33:15Speaker 1: know what I mean? Are we still running bubble bass?
- 33:17Speaker 1: I don't know what they're doing in twenty I don't
- 33:19Speaker 1: know if we still running bubble bass, you know, I
- 33:21Speaker 1: don't know if they're still heating the oil up. You
- 33:23Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, were just not pouring it on
- 33:25Speaker 1: you out the bottom. You know we're gonna we're gonna
- 33:27Speaker 1: put that in a night shore like yeah, are they
- 33:32Speaker 1: still heating up? I got a microwave in the bathroom
- 33:38Speaker 1: thought for playing with rosy? Are you in the mot
- 34:13Speaker 1: when you see the look on my face? That's my
- 34:18Speaker 1: type of few? Can I swim many other rotion? Can
- 34:28Speaker 1: I drown in it? To baby? When I come do yours?
- 34:44Speaker 1: I'll make you running over and over and dover and lota.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Just slow and that you slow. We ain't gonna tackle
- 35:01Speaker 1: time out. Get me up, get up, show me what
- 35:06Speaker 1: I need to know. Now I think it's about the
- 35:09Speaker 1: go down and you ain't control so sexual how we
- 35:14Speaker 1: end up on the floor. Now, I think we on
- 35:17Speaker 1: the full ground. On't your back throwing back? It's breaking
- 35:23Speaker 1: things you do makes me proud of you. It's stamina,
- 35:27Speaker 1: it's so for you. I'm a grabbing nigh smag. It
- 35:35Speaker 1: can't get it. I gonna we'll be right back. You're
- 35:46Speaker 1: listening Harpy Morning show. Light everybody, We're back. And before
- 35:51Speaker 1: the break we heard tanks newest single slope. Well, everybody,
- 35:56Speaker 1: you know this is tanks tenth and final out. So man,
- 35:59Speaker 1: let's just I mean, so after this, I mean, what's
- 36:02Speaker 1: the next fight. You know, as I speak to my
- 36:04Speaker 1: last album in my retirement, it's getting to a place
- 36:07Speaker 1: to where somebody got to hold the gate. Somebody has
- 36:09Speaker 1: to be able to go into these officers and have
- 36:11Speaker 1: these conversations, whether it be for new record deals for
- 36:15Speaker 1: real R and B artists, whether it be a touring
- 36:18Speaker 1: for real R and B artists, whether it be endorsements
- 36:20Speaker 1: and all these things that have gotten away from real
- 36:24Speaker 1: R and B artists, Like we need the next generation
- 36:27Speaker 1: of R and B artists, songwriters, producers. They got to
- 36:31Speaker 1: have a place to go, you know what I mean.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Like the last great R and B label was the
- 36:35Speaker 1: Face Records with La Read and Babyface and and it's
- 36:39Speaker 1: no mystery as to why they were that, but they
- 36:42Speaker 1: were that because they were that. And so you know,
- 36:45Speaker 1: I feel like it's my responsibility to put myself in
- 36:48Speaker 1: a splace to where I can build this R and
- 36:50Speaker 1: B label, all things R and B. That's all we need.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Want to you want to make money come to you, Well,
- 36:57Speaker 1: hey man, that's what we need. We appreciate you, man,
- 37:00Speaker 1: don't look even though your last album, we know we
- 37:03Speaker 1: ain't gonna we have Harley seen or heard the last
- 37:06Speaker 1: of you, because you in this business for the long haul,
- 37:09Speaker 1: and I'm hearing the label talking the place far and
- 37:12Speaker 1: be the live. We wish you well with everything. Man.
- 37:15Speaker 1: You know you got a home here for whatever you
- 37:17Speaker 1: decide to do. And slow has motivated me, and I
- 37:22Speaker 1: suggest y'all do the same. Go in your bathroom and
- 37:25Speaker 1: clear off all that counter space and all that stuff
- 37:29Speaker 1: that ain't doing nothing, all that bad beads that you
- 37:32Speaker 1: ain't never opened, and that damn lotion you don't stole
- 37:35Speaker 1: from them hotels. Get all that stuff off the counter.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Get yourself from microwave up there. Put a microwave on
- 37:43Speaker 1: the counter. Get you a spatchler out to kitchen. Get
- 37:46Speaker 1: you some stuff you can work with in there. Put
- 37:48Speaker 1: the other minting. Now, get you some stuff in there
- 37:51Speaker 1: that there's some some utential, your rolling pin, stuff that
- 37:55Speaker 1: you already got in the house that could come in
- 37:57Speaker 1: handy some honey over there, Get some flowers. Start yea
- 38:03Speaker 1: what caring starts they put card starch one babies for
- 38:07Speaker 1: die for rash Back in the day, you can ask
- 38:09Speaker 1: what else to do? Yeah, yeah, Steve, we're going full size,
- 38:15Speaker 1: Michael Webb. We're going like a half size like the hotel.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, we just need a small one because a
- 38:20Speaker 1: lot of people bathroom ain't got all that room. You
- 38:25Speaker 1: don't want a hot place. You're gonna mess out the
- 38:27Speaker 1: engine yourself. You're gonna injine yourself with that hot place.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvy Nation, here's a deal. This is the tenth
- 38:35Speaker 1: and final album of his career. The album is called
- 38:38Speaker 1: On and B Money. It got two number one singles
- 38:41Speaker 1: on it already. We heard slow. There are others want
- 38:45Speaker 1: you all to do what we do best. That the
- 38:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvy Nation. It's on all downloading streams to all
- 38:52Speaker 1: of the real old people out there. Get your nephews
- 38:55Speaker 1: and grandkids that come in there and downloaded fighting and
- 38:59Speaker 1: and I'm an album to Steve Harvey Nation. We owe
- 39:01Speaker 1: it to Tank. He's given us so many years the
- 39:03Speaker 1: great music. Everybody, go get it, ladies and gentlemen, put
- 39:06Speaker 1: your hands together for the legend Tank. Okay, we'll be back.
- 39:11Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. There he is there
- 39:17Speaker 1: all the time. Sam names the names. Even all you
- 39:20Speaker 1: gotta do all the you know what, like yeah, yeah,
- 39:25Speaker 1: rock over bam here you are? Yeah heah, man, you
- 39:30Speaker 1: know what man, everything everything went old? H Hello Roscoe, however,
- 39:37Speaker 1: what's up? Roscoe as the girl? Then Roscoe my hero,
- 39:46Speaker 1: my man on one time a dog boy over and
- 39:50Speaker 1: then going over the rim man. What's y'all do? Mother
- 39:52Speaker 1: to day? What y'all need? Roscoe? We're not surprised you're
- 39:56Speaker 1: here because we just had a special guests family member
- 39:59Speaker 1: U Tank about this new album surprise he's here, Yeah, no,
- 40:04Speaker 1: I'm not by will have me here so I can
- 40:09Speaker 1: explain the new album Tea. The new album is R
- 40:13Speaker 1: and B Money. But he's got a new single. It's
- 40:15Speaker 1: called Slow, So I gotta ask you. I know you
- 40:18Speaker 1: heard it? What do you think about that? And Tank
- 40:21Speaker 1: said he didn't write the song? So do you know
- 40:23Speaker 1: who wrote it? We all we know good Hair where
- 40:25Speaker 1: he ain't wrote it? And here you think I'm here
- 40:29Speaker 1: for this goes into the right back into the lawsuit
- 40:34Speaker 1: that I had early in this year. Through it. Everybody
- 40:38Speaker 1: now what they doing it? They're trying to be slick
- 40:40Speaker 1: Tall my day ain't wrote it. I know Gooda here
- 40:43Speaker 1: where you ain't wrote it. Everybody knew I wrote slow,
- 40:49Speaker 1: Yeah I wrote I wrote slow, What are you? What
- 40:55Speaker 1: are you thinking about? The inspiration for that song I wrote?
- 40:59Speaker 1: I wrote, h huh, Well, let me ask what year
- 41:03Speaker 1: was a man's patient proclamation? Eighteen sixty? I wrote slow
- 41:11Speaker 1: in eighteen sixty eight? Were you alive? Then? Really right,
- 41:18Speaker 1: y'all was lying here? I wrote the song for that
- 41:20Speaker 1: because it took them so damn long to sign the
- 41:23Speaker 1: damn paper. And when I wrote slow, you know what
- 41:28Speaker 1: you need to realize? Stop? You need to really really
- 41:32Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Yeah, we'll go ahead and really stop.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Why because nobody believes that, Roscoe. You're just popping up
- 41:39Speaker 1: after ten kids been our special. I ain't pop up.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Whoa y'all called me? Y'all call me, let me jall
- 41:50Speaker 1: you something? I wrote Slow right after man's fatal proclamation.
- 41:54Speaker 1: But I got news for you? What fast coming out next?
- 42:00Speaker 1: Aclim it out right out of it right here? You
- 42:04Speaker 1: I know how to write a hit, baby, because rocket
- 42:07Speaker 1: go ahead? What what was your inspiration for the song slow?
- 42:12Speaker 1: Since you wrote it, you ain't literally what was your inspiration?
- 42:17Speaker 1: White folks sold long to free the slaves that it
- 42:22Speaker 1: inspired the song slow. I told it to Tink Tank
- 42:28Speaker 1: turned it into a love song. It was sexy. It
- 42:34Speaker 1: wasn't what sexy when I wrote it? You know, Tank
- 42:37Speaker 1: a and being the here the dand one what he
- 42:39Speaker 1: gonna do? He can't write a slave song? Right? No?
- 42:43Speaker 1: You know, do you really know Tank though? The bigger dude?
- 42:49Speaker 1: Tank know me? Who had a Tank? Thank you? Gotta
- 42:58Speaker 1: be crazy. I knew all in religions. I knew his
- 43:01Speaker 1: uncle helicopter U. I knew it that air folks now
- 43:13Speaker 1: where naked got the name? Air folk? Who was what calling?
- 43:19Speaker 1: I have a question, have you ever thought about instead
- 43:22Speaker 1: of suing all of these people Tank, all of these singers,
- 43:25Speaker 1: have you ever thought about just Collabo doing it? You know?
- 43:28Speaker 1: You know that hand had had crossing my mind. It
- 43:33Speaker 1: had not it had it had done crossing my mind? Okay,
- 43:38Speaker 1: to do what you do? Ellabor with these people? Collabor?
- 43:42Speaker 1: So what happened? You know? Just everybody won't be I'm
- 43:48Speaker 1: always getting fought over. They end up don't go in
- 43:51Speaker 1: with none of these people, and they just stealing, stealing Rusco.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry to say. We're out of China. You're listening,
- 44:02Speaker 1: coming up at about four minutes after the hour. It's
- 44:05Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today. And the subject is why
- 44:08Speaker 1: is he in my brother's house? We'll find out in
- 44:12Speaker 1: just a little bit. We'll get into it, but right
- 44:14Speaker 1: now it is time for the nephew and the prank
- 44:17Speaker 1: phone call for today. Now what you got? So the
- 44:20Speaker 1: title of the Strawberry letter is why is he in
- 44:24Speaker 1: my brother's house? Right? Right? Yeah? This prank here because

- 47:38Speaker 1: get out. You know. Like I said, I was in
- 47:40Speaker 1: there trying to talk to them out of that. I

- 53:49Speaker 1: for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter, Thank you nephew.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Subject why is he in my brother's house? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:57Speaker 1: I'm writing for my brother because he is too upset
- 54:00Speaker 1: to do it for himself. My brother is thirty eight
- 54:03Speaker 1: and his wife is thirty five, and she has planned
- 54:06Speaker 1: a trip for Labor Day with two girlfriends and a
- 54:09Speaker 1: guy that has been her friend since they were eighteen
- 54:12Speaker 1: years old. This guy was married before and he has
- 54:15Speaker 1: one child. Now he's no longer dating women. He told
- 54:20Speaker 1: my brother that he is a great new man in
- 54:22Speaker 1: his life, but he keeps him away from his friends
- 54:25Speaker 1: because it is not serious yet. My brother told this
- 54:28Speaker 1: guy it's imperative that he meet the boyfriend. And here's wife.
- 54:33Speaker 1: My sister in law is always with this guy, and
- 54:36Speaker 1: my brother thinks she's cheating on him right in his face.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Now the guy is going on vacation with his wife,
- 54:43Speaker 1: so my brother got really skeptical. But that's not the
- 54:47Speaker 1: biggest issue. We need to know how far another man
- 54:50Speaker 1: is allowed up in another man's house. Last week, my
- 54:54Speaker 1: brother came home and this man was sitting in a
- 54:56Speaker 1: shirt and shorts on the patio, his wife being on
- 55:00Speaker 1: the couch. The guy said they had gone running in
- 55:03Speaker 1: the neighborhood and he jumped in the shower while she
- 55:06Speaker 1: took a nap. The biggest issue is that he took
- 55:09Speaker 1: a shower in my brother's bathroom. My brother uses the
- 55:12Speaker 1: upstairs bathroom so his wife can have the primary bathroom
- 55:16Speaker 1: all to herself. There is a shower downstairs in the
- 55:20Speaker 1: other guest room, but this guy went upstairs and used
- 55:24Speaker 1: my brother's shower. My brother feels that this guy is
- 55:27Speaker 1: way too comfortable in his house and it's his wife's
- 55:31Speaker 1: fault for letting him do it. I agree with my
- 55:33Speaker 1: brother and his wife needs to be checked and this
- 55:36Speaker 1: guy should not go on vacation with her. What if
- 55:39Speaker 1: his boyfriend doesn't even exist. I am trying to stay
- 55:43Speaker 1: out of it, So I need your advice on how
- 55:45Speaker 1: my brother should handle this situation. Okay, Sis, it just
- 55:52Speaker 1: sounds like someone might get hurt in this situation. I
- 55:56Speaker 1: don't know. I just feel that in my spirit somehow.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Huh of course. Yeah, a lady writer's letter or guy.
- 56:03Speaker 1: A sister wrote the letter for her brother because her
- 56:06Speaker 1: brother's too upset to write it, and I was just
- 56:08Speaker 1: going to get to that, Steve. It's confusing. This letter
- 56:12Speaker 1: is really confusing. But from what I gather, the wife
- 56:17Speaker 1: you guys suspect is cheating on her husband your brother
- 56:22Speaker 1: with the guy who she said is gay to throw
- 56:25Speaker 1: everyone off. That's kind of what she's trying to say here.
- 56:29Speaker 1: And not only is your brother mad about the cheating
- 56:31Speaker 1: he thinks that he thinks is going on, he really
- 56:35Speaker 1: is angry that the guy is in his house using
- 56:37Speaker 1: his shower and acting like it's okay because his wife
- 56:41Speaker 1: gave him permission, especially when there are other bathrooms in
- 56:45Speaker 1: the house. You're also asking for yourself and your brother.
- 56:50Speaker 1: How far should another man be allowed in a man's house.
- 56:54Speaker 1: And I'm going to tell you right now, you shouldn't
- 56:56Speaker 1: even have to ask that question because at your house
- 56:58Speaker 1: it's simple. You set the rule. It's a respect thing.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I don't care who it is. If you don't want
- 57:04Speaker 1: him in there, he shouldn't be in there, as simple
- 57:06Speaker 1: as that. I mean. And your wife, his wife, your
- 57:09Speaker 1: sister in law, should know better. She should never let
- 57:12Speaker 1: another man or anyone disrespect the household, especially your husband's things,
- 57:17Speaker 1: your husband's bathroom. She's wrong for this. I think it's
- 57:21Speaker 1: just a matter of time before the truth about her
- 57:24Speaker 1: and her so called gay best friend comes out. So
- 57:28Speaker 1: tell her you're going on the trip too, and that
- 57:32Speaker 1: will be nice time for the two of you to
- 57:34Speaker 1: reconnect and have some fun. That's what the husband should say.
- 57:38Speaker 1: See how she reacts. If she protests just a little
- 57:41Speaker 1: too much, that then you'll know that your instincts are
- 57:45Speaker 1: right and you can deal with her accordingly. But all
- 57:48Speaker 1: signs are pointing to she's cheating with this guy, the
- 57:51Speaker 1: so called gay friend of hers. I mean, he has
- 57:54Speaker 1: too much leeway in the house. All of that. It's
- 57:58Speaker 1: just too much. It's way too much. Steve, and it's
- 58:01Speaker 1: very confusing. I know that you know what. I'm so
- 58:07Speaker 1: damren confused him. It is very confused because let me
- 58:10Speaker 1: read this letter with y'all and let me just go
- 58:13Speaker 1: as I'm feeling this letter. Okay, we may not ever
- 58:17Speaker 1: even get to the end. Why is he in my
- 58:22Speaker 1: brother's house? I'm confused with I'm not a girl. Let
- 58:27Speaker 1: me see just Stephen Shelley, I'm writing for my brother
- 58:31Speaker 1: because he is too upset to do it for himself. Well,
- 58:35Speaker 1: as we go through this letter, we're gonna find out
- 58:37Speaker 1: that your brother is incapable of doing several things for himself,
- 58:41Speaker 1: not only write this letter, but he's too upset to
- 58:45Speaker 1: do it for himself. Okay, you've been calling in this
- 58:48Speaker 1: little boy. My brother thirty eight, his wife thirty five.
- 58:52Speaker 1: She's playing a trip for Labor Day with two girlfriends
- 58:55Speaker 1: and a guy that has been her friends since they
- 58:57Speaker 1: was eighteen years old. How many times have I got
- 59:01Speaker 1: to tell y'all about these male friends that y'all keep thinking,
- 59:06Speaker 1: just want to be your friend? How many times we
- 59:10Speaker 1: got to go over there? How many letters do we
- 59:13Speaker 1: need for y'all to get off this trick trail and
- 59:17Speaker 1: quit thinking this marriy go around, don't come around. I'm
- 59:21Speaker 1: so sickly yup. This guy was married before, he has
- 59:26Speaker 1: one child. Now he's no longer dating women. Hello. Now
- 59:33Speaker 1: I've heard of this, We've seen it in famous people.
- 59:39Speaker 1: A person starts living their truth later on in life.
- 59:44Speaker 1: That's lowable, that's doable, that's fine. But now I don't
- 59:51Speaker 1: know at what point he decided he no longer dating
- 59:57Speaker 1: women because he was making kids of men. So there
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: had to be some type of Steve oh girl at
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty three minutes, half coming up today's
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: strawberry letter? Why is he in my brother's house? We'll
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening show, all right?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter, the subject
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: why is he in my brother's house? This letter is
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: beyond me ridiculous, y'all. I ain't even touched on any points.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: So let me try to do it quickly. Why is
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: he in my brother's house? I'm writing for my brother
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: because he's too upset to do it for himself. Your
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: brother too upset to write? He too upset to do
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: a lot of things in this letter. Let's get to it. Ye,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: my brother thirty eight is wife thirty five. She's playing
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: a trip for Labor Day with two girlfriends and a
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: guy that's been her friends since they were eighteen years old.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I'd have told y'all about these opposite sex friends. I
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: have told y'all about this, but y'all don't believe me.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: So this is another strawberry letter to help you understand.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: This guy was married before, he has one child. Now
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: he's no longer dating women, but he's still friends with
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: your your wife though jo on date women no more.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: But he didn't cut your your wife out. He told
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: my brother that he has a great new man in
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: his life, but he keeps him away from his friends
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: because it is not serious yet. Man, what First of all,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: if you are my wife's friend me and you ain't
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: that cool you telling me about a new man you got,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: but you don't bring him around your friends yet because
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: it ain't that serious. Wait a minute, we ain't all
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: discovered the news yet that you don't date women no more,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: So then you ain't brought him round your friends because
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you don't know if it's serious yet. Have you told
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: your new friend that you don't date women no more?
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Or maybe you've been running in this circle the whole time.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I don't know what's happening right here, but because of HR,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I'm not gonna comment. I'm just gonna try to keep moving. Okay,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Then my brother, your brother told this guy's imperative that
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: he meet the boyfriend and his Why what, man, I
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: don't give a damn what you doing. I ain't gonna
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: meet your damn boyfriend. But here's why. Though my sister
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: in law is always with this guy that didn't stop
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: liking women and date men now and got a child
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: and used to be married. My sister in law is
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: always with this guy. My brother in law thinks he's
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: cheating on him right in his hold up. So your
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: brother think that his wife is cheating with the guy
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: that don't don't date women. Know more that that came
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: up to him, and now he wants to meet this
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: guy's new guy, but he'd have told him, and he
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: don't want him to meet yet because he don't know
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: if it's seriously that fam missed me with this Just ay,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: why is the ass whipping not started yet? Because I'm
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: trying to figure out if I think my wife is
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: cheating with a man. And then he come up in
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: my face and strike up any conversation. I want to
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: meet this new guy. Well, it ain't serious yet, so
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I ain't gonna bring him. Man flick pop dead in
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: your jaw, Dead in your damn jaw. Now the guy
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: is going on vacation with his wife, So my brother
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: got real skeptical. But that's not the biggest issue. What's more,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: we need to know how far another man is allowed
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: up in another the man's house. Wait a minute, much.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I needn't know how you ain't allowed in my house,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: not how far you ain't. You can't knock on the door,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: rang the doughbell, You can't call my damn house. I
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: wish I would come home and you in it. Pardon
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I can't take in all right, let's go. Last week,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: my brother came home and this man was sitting in
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: the shirt and shorts on the patio. His wife was
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: sleep on the couch, knocked out. Probably that's she sleep
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: on the couch knocked out. The guy said they had
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: gone running in the neighborhood and he jumped in the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: shower while she took a nap. What right hold of dun?
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: You're so cool and comfortable, you and my wife weren't running.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: You didn't took a shower in my house. In my house,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: this ain't our house no more. See when it comes
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to a man of the man, No, it's the other
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: man's house. I don't care what the wife say. You
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: already know you need to check with this man. The
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: biggest issue is that he took a shower in my
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: brother's bathroom. Hold on, dog, you're in my room, oh pardoner,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: this man, my brother uses the upstairs bathroom to his
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: wife can have the primary bathroom all to himself. There's
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: a shower downstairs in the other guest room. But this
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: guy went upstairs and used my brother's shower. Yeah, ain't
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: want upstairs because that's where the bad room. Man. Might
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: as well go around the corner. Why you think she
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: downstairs knocked out on the couch, right man, I'm in here.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I'm in here whooping so much ass. I'm telling you
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: right now, you can't count the asses just getting whoop.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Everybody got some, the lawn boarding, got something on the
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: way in the milkman, the mail man that got some.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Ask car repair dude and got to ask whoopen? You
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: got to ask whoopen? From right man? He don't even
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: have ass no boat. My brother feels that this guy's
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: way too comfortable in this house, and his wife's fought
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: for him. Do it. No dog is your fault because
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you letting him do it. You let this man come
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: up in your house and sit around and you ain't
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: at the house. Oh man, this ain't on your wife,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: just on you. You being disrespected on so many levels.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: It's an ignorant ass letter. I agree with my brother
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: and his wife needs to be checked and this guy
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: should not go on vacation with her. What is his
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: boyfriend doesn't exist. I'm trying to stay out of it,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: so I need your advice on her. My brothers can't
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: handle this situation. Your brother need to start woman somebody
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: all right? Thank you, Steve. Coming up next, it is
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Junior and Sports Talk. Right after this you're listening Stry
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Morning Show. It is time now, ladies and gentlemen, for
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Junior and Sports Talk, which you got junior. Thank you, Shirley.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Don't forget September first, Huntsville, Alabama. Stand up laugh here
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I come, Oh, I can't wait September first. You take
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: your favorite play cousin gonna be in to build it.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I can't wait to do this show for y'all Huntsville
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: stand up, laugh, We're gonna do that. But uncle, let's
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: talk about it. Lebron James, man lit'ten. I just need
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to put this in perspective. Lebron James signed an extension
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: to stay with the Lakers for two more years, but
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: they panned this boy. Ninety seven million? Wait a million? Wait,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: wait a minute, perspective. Tell me ninety seven million making
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: that's what his wife said at the house, ninety seven millions,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: making him the highest NBA player paid NBA player ever ever.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Nobodies made more money in the NBA did Lebron Jack?
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: He ain't. But what dude, ninety seven million dollars to do?
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: We don't know? Millions? What this? Dude? How you how
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: you deal with nine seven me? Well? How you act?
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: First of all, let's let's break it down. That's over
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: two years. That's forty eight point five a year, Yes, sir,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I'm I understand, yes, yeah, but how are you acting?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: How many games? Is it? Though? Let me just explain
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: it to you. What the cutoff points is that? Yeah,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: once you make two hundred thousand dollars, you're in the well,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: in the upper realm of what the average person makes
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: in the world. So understand that if you're making two
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars, it catapolts you into the upper end
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: of what the average person makes. I don't know the
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: exact percentage, but it's up there. Once you make anything
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: over two hundred, you you in the stratosphere. Once you
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: get into the millions, you are into percentages of percentage
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: of people. Wash, you get into the tens, you are
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: into the percentage of the percentages of that percentage of people.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: You follow what I'm saying, Wash, you get up there
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: where lebron ad who is a billionaire? Huh, you just
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: it's a magazine. You can just start flipping through and
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: looking at him. They can put them all on a
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: sheet of paper. Everybody that's a billion now can get
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: on a piece of paper one sheet. Yeah, all right,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: he buying stuff you can't even look at You got
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: that Michael Jackson money where you just buying stuff. You
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: don't even know what's sale the heir You didn't bought
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: this giraffe from Michael Marinade on that for a bit,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: because coming up at the top of the hour, we
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: have a Facebook question from a listener right after this
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: You're listening show? All right, So guys, this is a
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Facebook question from j M and Lafayette, Louisiana. J M says,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I found out that my husband has a side piece,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: and I confronted him. He admitted that he has tried
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: to leave the woman alone, but he can't. I have
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: a good life with him and he is a great dad.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: We haven't had sex in two years, and I'm okay
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: with that. I don't want to leave him, and he's
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: promised me that he won't ever leave me and the kids.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Am I crazy for accepting this lifestyle? What do you
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: think about that? Steve Harvey? Well, you ain't hair sex
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: what he meant to you? So what what did you
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: want him to do? Please tell me you having it,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: she said with him. But see, I don't if you
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: all are not having sex, and you're not having sex
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: for whatever reason, you've lost your desire, you got medical issues.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I don't know what the case is. He he don't
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: have none of that. He's good. But let me tell
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: you something. When you got the nerve to tell your
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: wife I've tried to leave her, No, that's what you're
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: seeing this man. Listen to me, baby, I've tried to
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: leave her. Lord him, mercy, I'm telling you right now,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: this woman is doing some things to him where his
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: confession is inclusive of the thing she's doing. All right,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: he is surely asked me about you found out about us? Um?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: So baby, um, I is this true? Please tell me

- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Oh you how'd you find that out? Back? Um? You know,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: word gets around a social media all that. I saw
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: you guys together? U huh? Well can you leave her alone? Please? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I gotta side people. So it's true. Yeah, yeah, Well
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: you do realize we're married? Can you please leave her alone?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Well we've been telling about two years now? How how
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: long to do you? Why am I just not funding? Well?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Well you you found out when you told me we
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: wasn't having sex more. Well that's only been two years.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: But yeah, well that's how long I started seeing her,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: because when you said we're not having sex no more?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: So we meet? We to me, met me and you long.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I didn't sign up for this, I honestly think the
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: wife says she Next question, sir, you have a question.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: I'm very calm. I was hoping to let you know that.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I was just gonna let you know, dog, tell her,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: don't don't, don't. Don't call this side piece no more
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: at all. Don't don't do that, do not call her.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I could call her and tell her stop messing with
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: my husband. No, you don't know you're gonna I've tried
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: to stop seeing her. I've already tried that. I've tried
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: into two years. I've actually set her down fifteen times.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: You're not trying hard enough, and said we can no
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: longer do that. As soon as I got through talking,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: she did it to me again, and I said, what
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: is she doing to you? That? Excuse me? Yeah? What
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: is it? What is what? What is she doing? Yeah? Girl, girl, girl, baby,

- 1:18:27Speaker 1: no law, no law, y'all have no idea. I got
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: two brushes all around my house. Yeah, now you got
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: She don't do that. Now, she don't do that? Though
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: high teen is everything? All right? Would you rather eat
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: baby food for a week or would you rather eat
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Vienna sausages and crackers? I can't do take that, baby foot.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I can't do the Vienna sausage. Wind up Vienna sausages
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: and crackers. That's that's a postal. I'll just swow off
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Vienna sausage. I haven't even be on the sausage since
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I was in high school. I mean apple sauce pair,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: I mean all that this in there. Baby food is good.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: It's tasty baby food. If you eat the sweet don't
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: eat them green beans, don't Brandon Corli should just spit
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: the green beans in my face. That's how. And it
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: would be funny as hell to me, because they were
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: they were highly offended. And then I messed around and
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: tasted them one day, and I spit the green beans
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: in the face. Oh no. All right, we'll be back
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: with our last break of the day and some closing
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, guys, here we are our
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Friday. We gotta
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: say thank you to our very special guest family member Tank.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Make sure you check out that single slow while you're
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: added to his last album. We're gonna miss you, Tanks
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: in that capacity, such a talent. Sure, then you be
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: careful when you sech stuff like that because you kill
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: awful person in heart. Oh yeah, you be careful. We're
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: gonna miss you. Yeah. Yeah, we'll say that funeral now
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: because your ass will write a person all your ass
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: to be junior. I can't tell you how many times
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: you didn't have one of them. Crisis and comment Shirley
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: made really rather permanent. You're so I'm not telling the
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: truth right now? Well, I show hope. You want to
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: see him in the hospital. What did you do? I'm
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: not going down to see your sick down that fall?
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: He called it hung up. They didn't even have a
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: cure for sick or what is i'thing to do down
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: at the hospital? He called it hung up? Yeah, and
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: the stuff I want to bring him, they won't let
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: me take him. You need a sick guard. Come on, yeah,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: hey man, I got a sick off for you. Y'all
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: want some Scott gonna let you do that in the hospital.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: So what is I'm going down to the hospital fall?
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Clearly there's no cure for that. Damn. Hey do you
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: want ham saying which is something? Yeah, you know, I
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: just do stuff make you feel good? Right now? Right Steve,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Steve could have been Remember the role John Goodman played
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: in flight, Remember when he was coming to that's that's
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: a role for him right now, coming through with all
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: the goodies. Yea, hey, y'all my closing remarks. Let me
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: give you something that I was thinking the other day. Okay,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: this has been good for me because in my life
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I've had a series of setbacks, and just like everybody
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: that's listening, everybody has storms in their life, all of us,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: all of you listening, Some of you are in the
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: middle of a storm right now. You can't live in
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: this life storm free. But the thing about the storm
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: that I've had to learn and grow to appreciate about
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: the storm is that you will not be the same
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: person when you come out on the other side of
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: the storm. You won't be the same. The storm changes you.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: And see, the storm can be anything, y'all, because the
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: storms come along with warning. See, it ain't like a hurricane.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: You know, the National Bureau gives you a warning. There's
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: a storm brewing out on the coast, and you get
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: a warning, and they give you evacuation route, and they
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: tell you about the day that it will arrive, and
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: they give you expected winds and all of that. Every
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: storm that will come up in your life ain't like that.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Some of them just a tornado. They just drop out
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: the sky. Sometimes you walk home and it's a storm.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Sometimes you leave a house and this a storm. Sometimes
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: you get it working, it's a storm. Sometimes you get
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: a phone call and it's just a storm. Everybody gets
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: And like I said, the thing about life is that
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: they don't get to be pre announced like on the
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: weather channel. Sometimes they show up. But if you notice,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: if you pay close attention, these storms that happen are
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: actually vets in your life that you have no control over.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: For the most part, I mean, nobody wants a storm, nobody.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I wish I could live my life storm free, but
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: that's not how it works. These storms come up so
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: unexpectedly and it and sometimes the storm stays in your
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: area way longer than you want it to. But the
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: thing about this storm when you do come out of it,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: and you will come out of it, because that is
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: the nature of things. You've survived every storm you've been
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: in so far, you've gotten to the other side. Now
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: if you don't dway all on the storm, if you
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: don't dway all on it, and you allow the storm
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: to leave something behind, because behind every storm that is
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: a lesson and a blessing. You will be changed when
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: you get to the other side of the storm. But
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: you got to be open to the change. See, you
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: can't do nothing about the things that's happening in your
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: life oftentimes, but it's how you respond to it that
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: determines who you are, who you will be, how you
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: move forward, or how you get tossed and laid down.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: Have you ever seen somebody go through something and then
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you got to hear about it every time you talk
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: to him. I know a woman that's in a relationship,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and every time I talk to her, it's that relationship.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: If I had never met him, if we hadn't spend
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: all them years together, I can't get those years back.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I wasted these many years of my life. She has
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: allowed the event and the way she responded to it
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: to effect the person that could be changed. So instead
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: of changing, she remains the same and worse off because
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: now she didn't let the storm determine her life. The
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: storm is here to throw you forward, not to throw
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: you backwards. Even if a storm come along and causes
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: us a setback, a setback is just a set up
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: for a comeback. You got to understand what the storm
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: is for. It's not the storm, it's how you respond
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: to the storm. You've got to start responding differently to
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: these storms in your life. Man, when you get thrown back,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: it becomes a setback, but it's just a set up
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: for the comeback. Come on, man, you got to start
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: responding better. Talk to God the day he loved to
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: hear from you. Okay, that's for real. I wish I
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: had more time, but we got to. For all Steve
