- 1:49Speaker 6: Looking me?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you think that.
- 2:01Speaker 7: A I sure will? Good morning, everybody. Are you listening
- 2:06Speaker 7: to the voice? Come on, dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 7: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, I got
- 2:14Speaker 7: something for you today. I'm gonna have a conversation this
- 2:21Speaker 7: morning about my understanding of grace now that I've gotten
- 2:26Speaker 7: older and I've come into a better understanding of a
- 2:29Speaker 7: lot of things I didn't know about when I was younger.
- 2:32Speaker 7: This is just my interpretation of grace. Now once again,
- 2:38Speaker 7: y'all listen to me. I ain't nobody's pastor, I ain't
- 2:42Speaker 7: nobody's minister.
- 2:43Speaker 2: So you know, I'm.
- 2:44Speaker 7: Pretty sure you can go to church and get a
- 2:47Speaker 7: far more extensive definition of one I'm giving you. I'm
- 2:50Speaker 7: just talking to people.
- 2:52Speaker 2: You know. Grace is this thing that God provides for.
- 2:58Speaker 7: Us, and grace is just things that you get that's
- 3:03Speaker 7: really undeserving, you know. I mean, I look in my
- 3:07Speaker 7: life as it is today. You know, Look, I work
- 3:10Speaker 7: hard and I have faith in God that I do
- 3:13Speaker 7: so things are going to happen in my life. But
- 3:16Speaker 7: the way my life is now, I don't don't. I
- 3:19Speaker 7: don't deserve all of this, don't. I don't look at
- 3:22Speaker 7: it that way. I have been the beneficiary of God's grace.
- 3:27Speaker 7: I have aligned myself in a position to accept whatever
- 3:33Speaker 7: grace God has for me, and it will be far
- 3:37Speaker 7: abundant and exceedingly in anything you could think of. His
- 3:42Speaker 7: grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine. You know, the
- 3:47Speaker 7: goals that I set and the aspirations that I shoot for,
- 3:50Speaker 7: and the things that I have on my dream board.
- 3:52Speaker 7: I have the faith that God will give it to me.
- 3:54Speaker 7: But what He does with grace, he gives you far
- 3:57Speaker 7: more than that. He gives you what He he has
- 4:00Speaker 7: for you, not what you can see. You can't see
- 4:03Speaker 7: all he has for you. It's impossible.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Who are you?
- 4:06Speaker 7: How can you possibly imagine what he can imagine? How
- 4:10Speaker 7: can you possibly think? How he can think? How can
- 4:12Speaker 7: you possibly do what he can do? How can it
- 4:15Speaker 7: be that isn't a single mind living or a collection
- 4:19Speaker 7: of minds that could have thought of Earth? What in
- 4:23Speaker 7: your wildest imagination could have made you think of Earth?
- 4:27Speaker 7: The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy, the constellations.
- 4:33Speaker 7: What in your mind? What in any man's mind? We
- 4:37Speaker 7: can point at it and analyze it, but we show
- 4:39Speaker 7: couldn't have thought of it. So come on now, I'm
- 4:43Speaker 7: talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which he
- 4:48Speaker 7: will give.
- 4:49Speaker 2: To you if.
- 4:50Speaker 7: You want some of it now. But now his thing
- 4:53Speaker 7: about grace, it can't be bought. Could if it could
- 4:55Speaker 7: be bought, I'm telling you I would pull all money
- 5:00Speaker 7: I have and dump it into grace, because, after discovering
- 5:05Speaker 7: what it is, it's this goodness that God shines on
- 5:10Speaker 7: you simply as a reward of some type for his
- 5:15Speaker 7: love for you and for you attempting for you attempting.
- 5:20Speaker 2: To do right, not because you get it right.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Because if He judged us purely on how we are
- 5:26Speaker 7: the right and wrong of it, we would all be doomed,
- 5:29Speaker 7: all of us, every last one of us would be
- 5:33Speaker 7: doomed because we all fall short, we all make mistakes,
- 5:38Speaker 7: we all sin, we all get it wrong.
- 5:41Speaker 2: From time to time. Nobody's perfect.
- 5:44Speaker 8: Man.
- 5:45Speaker 7: Now I understand what my mother was saying about cleaning
- 5:48Speaker 7: the house. All I want is a little more grace.
- 5:51Speaker 7: All I need is a little more grace when the
- 5:54Speaker 7: last time you ask God for some grace. Now, I'm
- 5:56Speaker 7: not talking to you like I know everything. If you
- 6:00Speaker 7: just benefit from His grace what you already have. But
- 6:04Speaker 7: if you're not aware of it, you don't know what's
- 6:06Speaker 7: going on. Become aware of grace. Get aware of the
- 6:10Speaker 7: fact that God does things for you simply because He
- 6:14Speaker 7: loves you. He does things for you that you don't
- 6:16Speaker 7: even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how you just got
- 6:19Speaker 7: over when you didn't even do.
- 6:22Speaker 2: The things to get over.
- 6:24Speaker 7: Sometimes you don't even know how you got that job
- 6:27Speaker 7: you got when you ain't even really do the things
- 6:29Speaker 7: to get your job. How you end up where you
- 6:31Speaker 7: are all the education you thought you went and got,
- 6:34Speaker 7: and hey, how you end up where you are today
- 6:37Speaker 7: in a much better position than your education could have
- 6:39Speaker 7: ever gotten you. That's grace. How I get every place
- 6:44Speaker 7: I am today. I didn't plan this, Man. If I
- 6:47Speaker 7: could have planned my life the way it is, don't
- 6:49Speaker 7: you know how'd have done it? When I was living
- 6:50Speaker 7: in that car, if I knew how to do it. No,
- 6:53Speaker 7: I benefited from his grace. I'm just a beneficiary of
- 6:59Speaker 7: his grace, of his goodness and his mercy. God's goodness
- 7:04Speaker 7: is better than your goodness. God's goodness is better than
- 7:07Speaker 7: your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's or your
- 7:10Speaker 7: husband or your boo's goodness. God's goodness is different. His
- 7:16Speaker 7: goodness Man covers some stuff you can't even imagine. So
- 7:20Speaker 7: why are you trying to put your life together when
- 7:23Speaker 7: the last time you asked him for just a little.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Bit of grace?
- 7:28Speaker 7: When have you thought of your life in terms of
- 7:31Speaker 7: the grace that it has already benefited from?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Have you ever done that? Man?
- 7:36Speaker 7: Just thought about you know you hear songs like my soul,
- 7:39Speaker 7: look back and wonder how I got over?
- 7:41Speaker 2: That was grace, That's all I can call it. Now.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Like I said, you can go to church or somewherever
- 7:46Speaker 7: you want to, and ministers at the window at school
- 7:48Speaker 7: to teach this thing way better than me. I'm just
- 7:51Speaker 7: giving you from a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought
- 7:54Speaker 7: about his grace? Would you not bewalled to be a
- 7:57Speaker 7: beneficiary of his grace. Now check this out. The better
- 8:02Speaker 7: you try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
- 8:06Speaker 7: Now that grace can't be bought, Like I said, it's free.
- 8:10Speaker 7: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to
- 8:14Speaker 7: become the more the more grace he gets to put
- 8:16Speaker 7: your way. So man, just try. Why don't you just
- 8:21Speaker 7: try to do better? Look, man, quit talking aout. I'm
- 8:24Speaker 7: gonna start next week. I'm gonna start at the new year,
- 8:26Speaker 7: now you not, Yeah, you do that every year ever,
- 8:29Speaker 7: at the new year. I wanna eat better at the
- 8:31Speaker 7: new year. I'm or I'm gonna go get in here
- 8:33Speaker 7: and the new year. If you're gonna do it, you're
- 8:35Speaker 7: gonna do it now. Man, you're gonna do it now.
- 8:38Speaker 7: Stop trying do something, do it, stop talking about it,
- 8:43Speaker 7: do it now. The best way to benefit from his
- 8:46Speaker 7: grace is starting action now. N O W now, right
- 8:53Speaker 7: now today, what you're waiting on, all you doing is
- 8:56Speaker 7: delaying his opportunity to bless you.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You know me, Do you know how many times we
- 9:02Speaker 2: do that?
- 9:03Speaker 7: We delay his opportunity to bless us by not starting now.
- 9:07Speaker 7: If you gonna get healthy, why don't you start now?
- 9:10Speaker 7: Now you're gonna trip a little bit because the holiday's coming.
- 9:13Speaker 7: But you ain't got to eat bad all the time.
- 9:15Speaker 7: You could start eating correct today, you could. You could,
- 9:19Speaker 7: and then guess what that could be? Some grace on
- 9:22Speaker 7: the end of that. I'm just giving you a little
- 9:24Speaker 7: cheap analogy. But do you feel what I'm saying to you?
- 9:27Speaker 7: Start thinking in terms of grace? What He has done
- 9:31Speaker 7: for you and provided for you that you ain't even
- 9:33Speaker 7: see coming. That you know, you keep calling them blessings,
- 9:36Speaker 7: and I got that. A lot of it us all
- 9:37Speaker 7: it is. But man, have you thought about the stuff
- 9:40Speaker 7: that didn't happened to you you can't account for. For me,
- 9:45Speaker 7: that's been grace and I'm beneficiary of it, and that's
- 9:48Speaker 7: available to everybody that won't sung. Next time you're talking
- 9:52Speaker 7: to him, just check in with grace. See what that is.
- 9:54Speaker 7: That's that's better than money.
- 9:57Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, I think I have your undivided attention.
- 10:09Speaker 7: Welcome to the number one morning show in the world,
- 10:17Speaker 7: in all of the free world. Now that may be
- 10:19Speaker 7: a communist show that's bigger than this, because they ain't
- 10:22Speaker 7: got but one. I don't know, but in the free
- 10:26Speaker 7: world we're here, Shirley and Carla on this zoom. Take
- 10:31Speaker 7: that stun look off your face for what I just said,
- 10:35Speaker 7: because today is the day that I will put a
- 10:39Speaker 7: stun look on your face several times. So now that
- 10:46Speaker 7: was early. All I said was that I will repeat this.
- 10:49Speaker 7: We are the number one show in the free world
- 10:52Speaker 7: that could be a communist station that's bigger than this
- 10:55Speaker 7: because they ain't got but one and they have to
- 10:57Speaker 7: listen that right there.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I said, Man, I don't know, why can't be different sometimes?
- 11:05Speaker 2: Or I can? Y'all want the same old thing.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Good morning everyone, or what y'all would be grateful, good
- 11:12Speaker 7: thing you woke up this morning, that's what you want, Okay, cool, Hey, y'all,
- 11:15Speaker 7: this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Another day, another
- 11:18Speaker 7: opportunity to another great chance, another chance that God has
- 11:23Speaker 7: given us to get it right, to start again. And
- 11:26Speaker 7: the fact that He broke you up this morning is
- 11:28Speaker 7: pure joy and a pure stated fact that He ain't
- 11:32Speaker 7: through with you yet. That's the way Shirley and Carler
- 11:35Speaker 7: want me to start this show. So there you go,
- 11:38Speaker 7: and there you have it. But remember this, we are
- 11:42Speaker 7: still the number one morning show in the free world. Yeah,
- 11:48Speaker 7: outside of communist rating.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Thank you. That is all I'm gonna say.
- 11:55Speaker 7: Charlie Strawberry, Carlin Farrell, Mississippi Monica. My only two supporters
- 12:02Speaker 7: of that ignorance, Julia and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 12:07Speaker 7: I could see the pride them in them as I
- 12:11Speaker 7: stepped out on that ledge of nothings into an abyss.
- 12:17Speaker 7: But you say, Julish, so proud what.
- 12:26Speaker 2: That they got? The has got to be ht at hours.
- 12:30Speaker 7: Brother, you got because you got to listen to this
- 12:33Speaker 7: or you know they come through the Okay, y'all. A
- 12:38Speaker 7: lot of humor in that man, A lot of humor
- 12:40Speaker 7: was wrapped up in there. Hell, Junior, I'm not to
- 12:44Speaker 7: ask you what you got to say, but you ain't
- 12:46Speaker 7: got along got anything you want to ask me?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Right quick?
- 12:52Speaker 2: You pbody could do this for closing.
- 12:54Speaker 10: You know.
- 12:54Speaker 11: He was talking with some guys the other day and
- 12:56Speaker 11: they worried because of the conditions of everything that's going on.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Right now in this country.
- 13:00Speaker 11: And he kept thinking about what if I fail, What
- 13:02Speaker 11: if I lose? What if I dot that dot? What
- 13:06Speaker 11: if I don't get the advantages? What all these all
- 13:09Speaker 11: these things men were asking, and I said, I asked
- 13:12Speaker 11: Uncle Steve Mark, and see what he say to men.
- 13:15Speaker 7: Save that question for closing remarks. That'll be a great one.
- 13:19Speaker 7: That would be a great one. Yeah, but I will
- 13:22Speaker 7: say this to that. If you don't try, all of
- 13:27Speaker 7: the above will happen. Let's just start that.
- 13:32Speaker 1: All right, Well, we're in for a great show.

- 14:27Speaker 12: It's my refrigerator, Shirley, y'all are about to make a delivery.
- 14:30Speaker 2: We don't know. Let's say you want to do eight
- 14:31Speaker 2: to twelve, twelve or four?
- 14:33Speaker 12: You want to do it out before when you want
- 14:34Speaker 12: to get what window do you want for your delivery?
- 14:38Speaker 12: Which one? It just keep on changing. They'll call you
- 14:42Speaker 12: and tell you we're gonna beat there between eight and twelve.
- 14:44Speaker 8: Five.
- 14:44Speaker 12: We don't got whitch back a little bit. Any we're
- 14:46Speaker 12: gonna beat up between twelve and four. Anybody gonna be
- 14:48Speaker 12: there around three? We got pushback. Let's let's make that
- 14:51Speaker 12: by six. Man, I've been home all day waiting on
- 14:53Speaker 12: this refrigerator. Let's go candall my refrigerator.
- 14:59Speaker 10: Hello.
- 15:00Speaker 12: Hello, I'm trying to reach out miss please, miss, this
- 15:03Speaker 12: is Jackson. I'm the driver. Man, I'm actually the delivery
- 15:06Speaker 12: guy that's bringing you refrigerator.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Over the day.
- 15:08Speaker 10: Okay, what's going on?
- 15:09Speaker 12: Okay, listen, I know we had a window that was
- 15:11Speaker 12: from eight to twelve this morning's see it's eleven thirty now,
- 15:16Speaker 12: so we're running little bit behind schedule.
- 15:19Speaker 10: Man.
- 15:19Speaker 12: We have some problems at the yard getting everything loaded up.
- 15:22Speaker 10: Man, come on, man, you killing me. I can't. Y'all
- 15:25Speaker 10: y'all running behind, well, a little.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Bit behind schedule.
- 15:27Speaker 12: Man, we're gonna have will be there somewhere between twelve
- 15:30Speaker 12: and four.
- 15:30Speaker 10: Oh, come on, man, I got to do better than that, now, man, Man, job.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I understand, sir, I understand that.
- 15:36Speaker 10: Actually it's I got a man. I got all my
- 15:40Speaker 10: food in here and coolers and stuff. Man, I got
- 15:43Speaker 10: ice everywhere. I mean, so, I mean, what's what, What's
- 15:48Speaker 10: what's going on? Ain't got the refrigerator. I'm trying to
- 15:50Speaker 10: figure out.
- 15:51Speaker 12: No, No, we loaded up, you know, we just have
- 15:53Speaker 12: some problems. I think one of the fourth lifts went out,
- 15:55Speaker 12: and you know, it kind of pushed us back. So
- 15:57Speaker 12: that four hour window we have from eight to twelve,
- 15:59Speaker 12: man just got ruin. And now we're pushing things from
- 16:02Speaker 12: twelve to four. So between twelve and four, man, we
- 16:04Speaker 12: would definitely be there.
- 16:05Speaker 10: Y'all have to be better than that. Of course, it's
- 16:08Speaker 10: all I was supposed to yesterday.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Actually, the warehouse supervisor he's actually out today.
- 16:14Speaker 10: He's not here, so he's not in So yeah, man, yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 10: I'm supposed to be working one car you said, y'all
- 16:21Speaker 10: gonna be until in between twelve and four. I'm supposed
- 16:23Speaker 10: to work in one o'clock.
- 16:25Speaker 12: I understand, man, I greatly apologize. Man, this rarely happens,
- 16:29Speaker 12: and it just so happened this morning. The forklift was
- 16:31Speaker 12: down and we had a lot of stuff to load up.
- 16:33Speaker 12: You know, we got I got ten refrigerators on this truck, man,
- 16:36Speaker 12: and one of them is definitely yours, sir. So I'm
- 16:37Speaker 12: definitely gonna be getting it to you as soon as I can, man, y'ah.
- 16:40Speaker 10: So, so man, yeah, pushing it because I'm supposed to
- 16:42Speaker 10: be at work, and then I scheduled everything else around
- 16:45Speaker 10: this because I'm supposed to know, I gotta have a
- 16:47Speaker 10: refrigerator to con I'm a foolish suff to do in
- 16:49Speaker 10: here in the in the kitchen, and you're you.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Refrigerator went out? Did it go? Refrigerator went out? Is
- 16:55Speaker 2: that what happened?
- 16:56Speaker 10: Yeah? So did I. I had it for quite some time,
- 16:59Speaker 10: you know, So it's just amount of time for we'll
- 17:02Speaker 10: go out. So I try to go ahead and get
- 17:03Speaker 10: a new one, you know, right.
- 17:05Speaker 2: So that's why we'll now schedule. I can schedule you
- 17:07Speaker 2: next week sometime if you want me to.
- 17:10Speaker 10: I mean I can't. I can't afford it. We're gonna
- 17:12Speaker 10: pay this food that I got in here all over
- 17:14Speaker 10: the floor.
- 17:14Speaker 12: Let me let me get the hustling man. See if
- 17:16Speaker 12: I can move as quick as I can. But twelve
- 17:17Speaker 12: or four is the window. Man. Like I said, I apologize, miss,
- 17:21Speaker 12: We'll be that man. We're gonna, we're gonna. We're gonna
- 17:22Speaker 12: be that with your refrigerated day.
- 17:24Speaker 10: Okay, okay, So so when you when you on your way,
- 17:27Speaker 10: how about I want you to call me and let
- 17:28Speaker 10: me know that you're on your waist so I know
- 17:30Speaker 10: what's going on.
- 17:31Speaker 12: We don't normally, we don't normally call when we're on
- 17:33Speaker 12: our way. We just come on in and get things
- 17:34Speaker 12: set up.
- 17:35Speaker 10: What do you mean you don't call? Not you just
- 17:38Speaker 10: call me?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah I did.
- 17:41Speaker 12: Like I said, the problem is on us, man, I'll
- 17:43Speaker 12: give you a call when we're route.
- 17:44Speaker 10: Okay, Okay, I appreciate that. Now you said you said
- 17:47Speaker 10: it between twelve and four.
- 17:48Speaker 12: Now, yes, sir, between twelve and four, we definitely be there.
- 17:50Speaker 12: We got you on the truck man.
- 17:51Speaker 10: Okay, I don't. I don't want no, miss man.
- 17:54Speaker 2: No, No, we got you. We got you.
- 17:55Speaker 12: We'll see you a minute. Man, all right, take care.

- 22:31Speaker 7: Let's see, my cousin wonaut too. I'm just with this
- 22:36Speaker 7: couple people. My cousin won out too.
- 22:41Speaker 8: All right, clo here we go. Seanda in Lexington rights.
- 22:46Speaker 8: I have two small dogs and the guy I'm dating
- 22:49Speaker 8: is allergic to them. He's willing to take allergymeds to
- 22:53Speaker 8: be with me. And my dad said, I'm selfish for
- 22:55Speaker 8: keeping the dogs. My fur babies come before a man.
- 22:59Speaker 8: I've only been dating four months. What should I do?
- 23:04Speaker 7: You just said your fur babies come before man. Okay, coach,
- 23:09Speaker 7: that's the decision you made. Ain't no problem, Ain't no
- 23:13Speaker 7: problem you get It's a good man said, he's willing
- 23:16Speaker 7: to take allergy medicine to be with you because of
- 23:19Speaker 7: your dogs. That's a good man. Now, if you gonna
- 23:22Speaker 7: keep putting the fir babies in front of him, then
- 23:26Speaker 7: go ahead. And you're gonna wind up with the fir babies,
- 23:30Speaker 7: that's all, because if you putting them dogs in front
- 23:33Speaker 7: of this man, then you're gonna end up with the animals.
- 23:36Speaker 7: And if that's your choice, that's your choice. Can you
- 23:39Speaker 7: would rather have the dogs than the man? That's all?
- 23:43Speaker 7: It ain't no, you know, because that's what's going to happen.
- 23:47Speaker 7: And I don't know if you You may not be
- 23:49Speaker 7: mentally in a position to take on a husband or
- 23:53Speaker 7: or a serious relationship.
- 23:55Speaker 2: You certainly not.
- 23:57Speaker 1: You're a dog yeah, you're a dog lover, so lord.
- 24:01Speaker 2: He'll be gone. I'm not a dog lover. I'm a
- 24:04Speaker 2: dog owner. Yeah, Now, I love him.
- 24:10Speaker 7: My dog is part of the family. I love him,
- 24:12Speaker 7: but he gets no deals over Now, what.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Of the people?
- 24:17Speaker 7: Okay, all right, not my family members? Okay, all right now,
- 24:22Speaker 7: I got a couple of staff members that all go
- 24:24Speaker 7: before he go.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Family.
- 24:26Speaker 1: No, all right, good to know.
- 24:29Speaker 8: Moving on to Lena and Columbia, really good to know.
- 24:34Speaker 8: Selena writes, my husband is mad because he cooked a
- 24:37Speaker 8: full Sunday dinner and I took my mom a plate.
- 24:40Speaker 8: He doesn't like my mom and vice versa, and he
- 24:43Speaker 8: said if she wanted to eat, she should come apologize
- 24:46Speaker 8: to him. Is he right or is he being unreasonable?
- 24:49Speaker 2: Whoa whoa, whoa whoa whoa whoa, whoa whoa. What did
- 24:51Speaker 2: he say to his mama? I missed that?
- 24:54Speaker 8: Well okay, so he cooked the dinner. He doesn't He
- 24:57Speaker 8: doesn't like his wife's mom. He doesn't like her, and
- 25:00Speaker 8: she doesn't like him. He said, if the mother in
- 25:03Speaker 8: law wanted to eat, she should come and apologize to
- 25:06Speaker 8: him first. So Zelena and Columbia wants to know is
- 25:10Speaker 8: he right or is he being unreasonable?
- 25:13Speaker 2: We ain't got the whole story.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Yeah, well you don't know what. They don't like each other.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Yeah right, they don't like each other. But I will
- 25:21Speaker 2: tell you this, brother.
- 25:22Speaker 7: Let me just say this to you just as a man,
- 25:26Speaker 7: if I were you, as he's a strong suggestion, I
- 25:29Speaker 7: would get on the high road if I were you,
- 25:33Speaker 7: and I would get on the high road for the
- 25:35Speaker 7: sake of my wife.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Yeah. See, you're not having a problem with your wife.
- 25:39Speaker 7: You having a problem with her mother, and her mother
- 25:44Speaker 7: has a problem with you.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Now for the sake of your wife.
- 25:49Speaker 7: If I were you, I would get on the high road,
- 25:52Speaker 7: and as a man, just take it. Whatever she did
- 25:54Speaker 7: man whatever, bron to sleep with her.
- 25:57Speaker 8: Question, is the mother, the mother in law going to
- 26:01Speaker 8: come over and apologize?
- 26:07Speaker 7: Though you waiting on you held the freeze over you,
- 26:13Speaker 7: he said.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I want you wain't on. The money just started falling
- 26:17Speaker 2: out the sky.
- 26:17Speaker 7: No, she's not finna do that, dog, And that's unreasonable
- 26:20Speaker 7: for you to make that a condition. See, we don't
- 26:24Speaker 7: know what happened, how it started. Maybe you need to
- 26:27Speaker 7: be an apology to just just from the standpoint, Hey, look, hey, mom, listen, Hey,
- 26:33Speaker 7: my bad for the way I handled it. Because there's
- 26:36Speaker 7: two it's two people in this. She may have done
- 26:39Speaker 7: something wrong. Let's just say she did something wrong. She
- 26:42Speaker 7: was initiate.
- 26:44Speaker 2: But Bro, your reaction could have been different too.
- 26:48Speaker 7: And just as me and man, for the sake of
- 26:51Speaker 7: the family, it is our job to fix it.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Period.
- 26:56Speaker 7: Now that's your job. I'm sorry. Man, Go ahead, Tom.
- 27:01Speaker 7: You know everybody say take the higher road.
- 27:03Speaker 2: They don't. Don't nobody be on that road, that road,
- 27:05Speaker 2: be impact.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Road, that high road.
- 27:11Speaker 2: There ain't nobody on it.
- 27:13Speaker 7: And the words of the great musical producer Ricky Miner,
- 27:18Speaker 7: he had a book out that I one of my
- 27:20Speaker 7: favorite titles, ain't no traffic on the extra mile. If
- 27:28Speaker 7: you go the extra mile, ain't no traffic out there.
- 27:33Speaker 7: So yeah, the high road is empty. But that's the
- 27:36Speaker 7: road you gotta take for the sake of your wife.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Man. And that's that's it, all right.
- 27:41Speaker 7: Moving on to Oh, that's probably why she by herself anyway,
- 27:51Speaker 7: that I just know your hello, she apologized, she's starting
- 27:55Speaker 7: and stuff she messed.
- 27:59Speaker 2: You don't know already, all right.
- 28:02Speaker 8: Moving on to Ed and harrisburg Ed writes, some sixty
- 28:06Speaker 8: one and single. My wife died three years ago, so
- 28:09Speaker 8: I'm dating again. I invited a lady over for dinner,
- 28:12Speaker 8: and she asked if I planned to remove old family
- 28:15Speaker 8: photos from my house. I didn't see the pictures as
- 28:19Speaker 8: an issue. Is it best to take my wife's photos down?
- 28:23Speaker 2: How did he say?
- 28:23Speaker 1: He was sixty one? Oh yeah, yeah, starting to date again.
- 28:29Speaker 13: Run.
- 28:29Speaker 2: He got some polaroids. He got some old pictures up
- 28:32Speaker 2: in there. He got some polaroids.
- 28:35Speaker 7: They'll come out to camera, he's been saying into until
- 28:37Speaker 7: it came down. He got some he got, Oh, there's
- 28:40Speaker 7: some tributes he got He still got picture frames leaning
- 28:45Speaker 7: up there, all up on the fireplace, you know, And uh,
- 28:49Speaker 7: it's a fair question.
- 28:51Speaker 1: It is.
- 28:52Speaker 2: It's a fair question. So what is? What is he is?
- 28:55Speaker 2: What is he? Or she wanting to know what ship?
- 28:57Speaker 8: Well?
- 28:58Speaker 2: She?
- 28:58Speaker 8: She asked him if he plan to take the pictures down,
- 29:01Speaker 8: their family pictures, and he said he didn't see the
- 29:04Speaker 8: pictures as an issue, but is it best to take
- 29:07Speaker 8: his wife's photos down if he's going to be dating
- 29:10Speaker 8: again and having women over here?
- 29:12Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it is. It is, you know, like if
- 29:15Speaker 2: you have.
- 29:15Speaker 7: Company come over, I would take them down while they're
- 29:18Speaker 7: over there, and then when they leave you and put
- 29:19Speaker 7: them back up until you get yourself used to it
- 29:23Speaker 7: to see.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Where it's going.
- 29:24Speaker 7: But just out of respect, don't nobody want to sit
- 29:27Speaker 7: at your house?
- 29:27Speaker 2: You help.
- 29:30Speaker 7: I'm just gonna be real with you, you know, because
- 29:33Speaker 7: the whole time I'm sitting there, if I'm over a
- 29:35Speaker 7: woman house and she got her dead husband all around
- 29:38Speaker 7: the place, I'm thinking, I sure don't want to be nuts.
- 29:42Speaker 7: So you know this ain't gonna be a comfortable date.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 29:47Speaker 7: Think he should just when you come over, out of respect.
- 29:51Speaker 7: He don't see him as an issue. But he's sixty
- 29:53Speaker 7: some years old, he's said, in his way, and he
- 29:57Speaker 7: ain't dated in a while, so right, he don't know
- 30:00Speaker 7: nutt is an issue?
- 30:01Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, now he does. He should take them down
- 30:05Speaker 1: put him in another.
- 30:06Speaker 2: He probably don't think that BlackBerry is an issue. You
- 30:10Speaker 2: got a BlackBerry, an iPhone or al.
- 30:15Speaker 7: And steal text into MySpace. People try to get his aunt.
- 30:20Speaker 8: All right, Philo, thank you. Coming up at the top
- 30:23Speaker 8: of the hour. We will have some entertainment news for
- 30:26Speaker 8: you right after this.
- 30:27Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:34Speaker 8: According to TMZ, Diddy's legal team filed a new motion
- 30:38Speaker 8: for bail and to be released before his sentencing in October,
- 30:43Speaker 8: and their new bail package. Did He's attorneys argue that
- 30:46Speaker 8: the average person convicted of violating the Man Act is
- 30:49Speaker 8: released from custody before he or she is sentenced.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Did He was found guilty on two charges.
- 30:55Speaker 8: We know that too, man at counts for hiring mail
- 30:58Speaker 8: prostitutes to have sex with his ex girlfriend. Did He's
- 31:02Speaker 8: attorneys argue he was simply living quote a swinger's lifestyle
- 31:06Speaker 8: with Cassie and Jane. His attorneys say, did He never
- 31:10Speaker 8: had sex with the prostitutes, only his girlfriends did. However,
- 31:13Speaker 8: the judge was more focused on Diddy's alleged violent passed
- 31:17Speaker 8: with his former lovers when he denied his bail. His
- 31:20Speaker 8: legal team acknowledged his assault on Cassie, but they argue
- 31:25Speaker 8: that didt He only got violent after the other victim, Jane,
- 31:28Speaker 8: provoked him. Didt He's bail package consists of a fifty
- 31:32Speaker 8: million dollar bond that uses his estate in Florida as
- 31:35Speaker 8: collateral and will be co signed by three financially responsible people.
- 31:40Speaker 8: He must also surrender his passport and limit his travel
- 31:44Speaker 8: from his home in Miami to the Southern District of
- 31:47Speaker 8: New York. His attorneys are also open to other pre
- 31:51Speaker 8: trial conditions, including home detention, electronic surveillance.
- 31:55Speaker 1: And more. So that's what they're arguing now.
- 31:59Speaker 2: You know, they are.
- 32:00Speaker 7: Correct in that normally that's the case that people are
- 32:04Speaker 7: allowed to go home nothing.
- 32:07Speaker 2: So I don't know what they're gonna do, you know.
- 32:10Speaker 7: You know what, y'all, I've noticed there's not a lot
- 32:13Speaker 7: of news coming out about this.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I really just going away.
- 32:23Speaker 1: In October.
- 32:24Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, And I think the prosecution has until today
- 32:28Speaker 8: to respond to the defense's second request request.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Right, and they're gonna say the same thing.
- 32:36Speaker 7: Yeah, They just they don't want him out under no circumstances,
- 32:41Speaker 7: and that's not normally how these matters are handled because
- 32:45Speaker 7: of what.
- 32:45Speaker 2: He's up for. He's being charged out with.
- 32:49Speaker 7: The prostitution trafficking thing, the prostitution part, the big stuff
- 32:57Speaker 7: he got was is gone so technical he should have
- 33:01Speaker 7: been home technically, And I'm not pushing forward to anything.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I'm just saying his attorneys are right, that's what normally.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Happens for a normal case. For the first man.
- 33:14Speaker 7: Right, absolutely absolutely violating. And you know so I don't
- 33:19Speaker 7: really know, and I can't worry about it because man,
- 33:25Speaker 7: you you can't. I can't put no thought into this
- 33:29Speaker 7: because no vote, I got no say so you know
- 33:34Speaker 7: it ain't me. The only thing in this whole thing
- 33:38Speaker 7: is I feel so badly for them girls, for them kids,
- 33:44Speaker 7: because them girls have to sit there and hear all
- 33:50Speaker 7: of this, the victims and his daughters, them girls have
- 33:55Speaker 7: to sit there.
- 33:56Speaker 1: They will always know about it.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Yeah, it's just horrible to have to sit there and
- 34:05Speaker 7: know this about that's going on. Not far as his
- 34:08Speaker 7: children go. It's absolutely horrific for those girls and for
- 34:13Speaker 7: the boys. You know, they can sit up and play
- 34:15Speaker 7: like they rappers and all that. All that's fake. All
- 34:18Speaker 7: that's fake. Your daddy finn't go away. That's the reality
- 34:23Speaker 7: of it. And no matter how cool the loving of
- 34:25Speaker 7: a father you think he is, we made a huge
- 34:29Speaker 7: mistake here, a huge mistake, and and and and and
- 34:33Speaker 7: there's a penalty for that.
- 34:36Speaker 12: Could you digest all of this if you were her
- 34:39Speaker 12: husband's husband.
- 34:46Speaker 8: I mean, you knew about it before, everything carried.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Everything, know all that. Well, just like you don't believe
- 34:59Speaker 1: her detail.
- 35:01Speaker 7: Yeah he knew, he knew enough, Yeah, he knew enough,
- 35:06Speaker 7: and I mean, hats off to him for understanding.
- 35:11Speaker 2: But you know, man, love is her side. Yes. Love
- 35:17Speaker 2: is different man.
- 35:17Speaker 7: When you find somebody you care about and then you
- 35:20Speaker 7: support them. When the new allegations come out, that don't
- 35:24Speaker 7: change your love, not not real love, you know it's
- 35:28Speaker 7: staying a little bit. You gotta go okay, oh that's

- 56:43Speaker 8: We could never be more than friends. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:48Speaker 8: I'm thirty seven and I've been married for eleven years
- 56:51Speaker 8: to my best friend. We met in eighth grade and
- 56:54Speaker 8: we've been in love since then. We also had a
- 56:57Speaker 8: lot of We also have a lot of close friends
- 56:59Speaker 8: from the past that we still hang out with. We
- 57:02Speaker 8: went to rival high school, so my wife is not
- 57:04Speaker 8: friendly with some of my female friends. I feel blessed
- 57:08Speaker 8: that she isn't bothered by me hanging with my female friends.
- 57:11Speaker 8: But recently I went too far with one of my friends.
- 57:16Speaker 8: The first time I almost had sex with this friend,
- 57:19Speaker 8: she said if we have sex, she wouldn't stop until
- 57:23Speaker 8: I was all hers. That kept me away from her
- 57:26Speaker 8: for a while, but then I got upset with my
- 57:29Speaker 8: wife in March and I went running to my friend's
- 57:31Speaker 8: house to vent. Just seeing my friend made me cheer up,
- 57:35Speaker 8: and she felt so good pressed up against me.
- 57:39Speaker 1: When we hugged.
- 57:40Speaker 8: I got really caught up and we had sex a
- 57:43Speaker 8: few times. She reminded me that if we went all
- 57:45Speaker 8: the way, she was going to become a problem in
- 57:48Speaker 8: my life. I should have heeded the warning that night.
- 57:53Speaker 8: She has not been the same around me and other
- 57:56Speaker 8: friends so I've stopped going out with my homies. I
- 57:59Speaker 8: have given her mon and gifts to apologize for whatever
- 58:02Speaker 8: she might be going through. But I had to stop
- 58:04Speaker 8: sending her things because she might use them against me.
- 58:08Speaker 8: Yesterday I tried to smooth things over to see where
- 58:10Speaker 8: her head is. I told her that we can never
- 58:14Speaker 8: be more than friends. I told her I was not
- 58:18Speaker 8: leaving my wife. She took the news so well that
- 58:21Speaker 8: I'm afraid of what might come next. She has no
- 58:24Speaker 8: reason to be hurt because she knew what was up
- 58:27Speaker 8: from the start. I'm scared for my life and my marriage.
- 58:32Speaker 8: Am I handling this situation with my friend the right way?
- 58:36Speaker 8: Please help?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Okay?
- 58:38Speaker 2: So here you go.
- 58:39Speaker 8: What you did was really, really stupid, and now you
- 58:43Speaker 8: want Steve and I to fix your mess. You admit
- 58:46Speaker 8: it to starting it when you said you went too
- 58:49Speaker 8: far when you almost had sex with one of your friends.
- 58:53Speaker 8: That's what makes you so trifling as a husband, because
- 58:56Speaker 8: you did eventually have sex with this woman, not once,
- 59:01Speaker 8: not twice, but you say a few times.
- 59:03Speaker 1: So you're gonna get what's coming to you.
- 59:05Speaker 8: I mean, the friend is holding it over your head,
- 59:08Speaker 8: the possibility that she might tell your wife and you
- 59:11Speaker 8: should be scared because she might Yeah, she took the
- 59:14Speaker 8: news well, but that's yeah, that's dangerous. Are you handling
- 59:18Speaker 8: the situation right? You ask, well, you're giving her gifts
- 59:22Speaker 8: and money and all this stuff, but just like life,
- 59:25Speaker 8: there are no guarantees. You dug this hole, so you know,
- 59:30Speaker 8: you got to deal with the consequences whenning if they come, Steve,
- 59:33Speaker 8: and they're gonna come, you know what, man, again, here.
- 59:38Speaker 7: We are, here, we are with this opposite sex friendship.
- 59:42Speaker 7: I I don't know how many times. I just don't
- 59:45Speaker 7: know how many times I have to tell y'all this,
- 59:49Speaker 7: But okay, y'all, y'all keep writing in, We'll keep going over.
- 59:54Speaker 7: I don't even know what this information is about. You
- 59:58Speaker 7: wanna tell us you thirty seven? You wanna tell that
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: you've been married eleven years to your best friend. Y'all
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: met in eighth grade. Y'all been in love every since then.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: Some more Houston's information. We went to rival high school,
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: so my wife is not friendly with some of my
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: female friends. It's not because of the rival high school.
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: Nobody's still doing that. She not friendly with your girlfriends
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: because she don't know them. They're not her friends. They
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: ain't got nothing to.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Do with our high school rivals. You're stupid.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: Here the ignorant part. I feel blessed that she isn't
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: bothered by me hanging with my female friends. What, brother,
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: I can't believe you wrote that I feel blessed that
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: she's not bothered by.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Me hanging with my female friends. Oh do you really? Okay?
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: So what are we gonna do in this? Now?
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: Let's take advantage of the blessing. Let's use the blessing.
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: Let's let this blessing work for our benefit. I'm so
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: blessed that she isn't bothered by me hanging with my
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: female friends. But recently I went too far with one
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: of my friends. Oh well, let's hear this right here.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: I'm here, I'm here for this. Let's hear how you
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: went too far with one of your friends. Because I
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: got a group of friends that I hang out with too,
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: and this has never occurred because all my friends is me,
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: So this has never occurred. The first time I almost
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: had sex with this friend, she said if we had sex,
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: she wouldn't stop until I was all hers, he said,
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: And that kept me away for a while. But then
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: you and your wife had a fall out in March,
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: and you went running over to your friend's house to vent.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: And then you said, just seeing my friend made me
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: cheer up.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: What is it about your friend that when you see
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: them it cheers you up. Well, you want to know
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: what it was. It was her looks, it was her body,
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: and just seeing my friend made me cheer up. And
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: she felt so good pressed up against me when we hugged.
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: I ain't never said that about my friend and me
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: and my homies hug when we see each other, and
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: now one of them felt good pressed up against my God,
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: matter of fact, our bodies don't really press up against
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: each other. It's a really showlder hug. So now already
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: this female prom this is what I'm telling you.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Can't have.
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: Two of your response coming up Steve at twenty three
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry Letter subject we could
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: never be more than friends. We'll get back into it
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.

- 1:03:45Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: We could never be more than friends.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: This letter is so ignorant to me.
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: Once again, this is a letter about and I have
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: told you all about these opposite sex friends.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I've told you about this. I can't count the times.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: But here we are again. Thirty seven year old man
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: been married eleven years to his very best friend. It
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: was high school sweetheart. They've been in love every since.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: But he says that and.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: His wife isn't friends with any of his friends because
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: they went to rival high schools. Okay, that ain't why
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: she not friends with none of your friends. It's because
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: she don't know none of them. And then he says,
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: but I feel so blessed that she doesn't have a problem.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: With me hanging out with my female friends. See that
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: is a lie.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: That's a lie because she don't know what you and
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: your female friends is doing. So partner, stop stop saying
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: stuff that's ignorant and not true. Women are not cool
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: with you and your female friend. They got one out
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: on you and one out on your.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Friend at all times.
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: At all times, homie, because she trying to figure out
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: is she supposed to be your best friend?
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: What are these other god tombs for?
- 1:05:18Speaker 12: It?
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: You tell a woman that she your best friend, then
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: she gonna wonder what these other female friends is for.
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: So you said you feel blessed that she ain't bothered
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: by you hanging with him. And then recently, I went
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: too far with one of my friends. Oh really, because
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: I ain't never went too farther with none of my friends,
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: because all my friends is men.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: First time I almost had sex with this friend, she
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: said if we had sex, she wouldn't stop till I
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: was all heard.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Well, that kept me away for a while.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: But then one day you got upset with your wife
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: in March, and when you're running over to your friend's
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: house vitting, and as soon as you saw her it
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: felt better. What is it about it? Made you feel better,
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: and then guess what you said? She felt so good
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: pressed up against me when we are hug You know,
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: when I see my homies that I've been friends with
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: for fifty years, sixty years, when we see each other,
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: we hug, but we don't press up against each other.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: That ain't what we're doing. But you pressed up against
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: her when we hugged. It felt so good. I got
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: really caught up and we had sex a few times.
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: She reminded me that if we went all the way,
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: she was gonna become a problem in my life.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: I should have heeded the warning. How you did it?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: She told you?
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Do you know what she said? Listen to me. If
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: you run up on me and we do and gage,
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: i'mnna be a problem.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: You know what i'd heard.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Listen to me, I'm crazy.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, right now.
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: I'm gonna bring down your whole fort if you sleep
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: with me, and the reason you I'm a reason. You
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: can come over here every time something wrong, because don't
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: nobody live here. You know why don't nobody live here?
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: Because everybody found out how I crazed out. Then you
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: can come over here and get some of this crazy
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: thing if you want to. But when you get it
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: and I put it on you, I'm gonna put all
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: the rest of it on I'm gonna be a problem.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: But you kept going over there, I should have heeded
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: the water. Well.
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: Since that night, she has not been the same around
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: me and my other friends, so I stopped going out
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: with my hobess.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: What your hobess you're referring to the other female friends
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: and guys.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: Of course, I've given her money and gives to apologize
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: for whatever she might.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Be going through. She going through what she told you
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: she was gonna do.
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: If you come over here and sleep with me, I'm
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: gonna be a problem, and I'm not gonna stop until
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: you all mine. And then I've given her money and
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: gifts to apologize for whatever she might be going through.
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: But I had to stop sending up things because she
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: might use them against me. Man, you stupid man. Hey,
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: hey man, let me tell you something.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Keating is not what you do. You're not good at it.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: You're real scary. You don't know none of the rules.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: You ain't set up no guidelines, you ain't had a conversation.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: You just did what the girl told you not to
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: do you slept with? And she said she was gonna
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: be a problem.
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: Now, yesterday I tried to smooth things over to see
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: where her head is.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: I'll tell you where her head is. She crazy.
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: She told you that I told her that we can
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: never be more than friends. Brod, You've already crossed the
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: line of friendship. Why do y'all keep using this term
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: friends for people that you are more than friends with?
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: It is so hard to be.
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: Friends with the opposite sex, especially if there's any form
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: of attraction. I told her I'm not leaving my wife.
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: She took the news so well that and I'm afraid
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: of what might come next. I know how that I
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: ain't never leaving my wife. She said, okay, you know
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: good Wall. In the back of her mind, she was going,
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: but what did I tell you? Though, I'm finn to
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: be a whole problem for you, gone back over that tool.
- 1:09:18Speaker 12: She has no.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Reason to be hurt because she knew what it was
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: from the start. No, she didn't.
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: You knew what it was from the star. She told you,
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: if you sleep with me, I'm gonna be a problem.
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: You knew what it was from the star. She gonna
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: do what she said? She said, she promised you she
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: was gonna be a problem. That's what she finn to be.
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: I'm scared for my life.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: What if she knew what? You're scared for your life

- 1:10:48Speaker 1: This was a good one. The subject we could never
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: be more than friend.
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: Okay, let me just bring you up speed real quick.
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: Here's a man that's been married for eleven years for
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: this eighth grade level. They've been friends they whole life.
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: They've been married eleven years. He has female friends. He
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: keeps saying, I told you all about this, But he
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: says he feels blessed that his wife don't have a
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: problem with her female friends because they from rival high schools. Well,
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: the rivalry of the high school is because one of
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: his girlfriend went to different school than his girl friends
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: and they don't know each other.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: So he says he don't have a problem with that.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: But then he got sexually involved with one of his friends.
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: How because I told y'all, you can't have opposite sex
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: friends all the time. So but she told him, the
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: girl told him, if you have sex with me one time,
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: I'm gonna be a problem, and I'm gonna be a
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: problem until I have you all to myself. So that
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: kept him away for a while. Then one night in March,
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: him and his wife got into an argument. He ran
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: over the girlfriend's house to vent as soon as the
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: girl opened the door. He felt good about it. Then
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: when they hugged and her body was pressed against his,
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: he felt so wonderful. And so then they had sex.
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: You have sex with your friend. I'd have told y'all
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: about these friends.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: I have friends.
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: We ain't never had sex. I'll have sex with my
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: friend were friends. If you're a female, Well I'm not
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: your friend.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Let's stop this.
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: I know you.
- 1:12:21Speaker 7: I'm friendly towards you. I help you if you need anything,
- 1:12:24Speaker 7: but don't press up against me. Now, I'm just letting
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: you know. Don't press up against me.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: I ain't that.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: So anyway, they had sex, and then all of a sudden,
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: the girl changed around her and her other friends. So
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: he tried to make up to her and send her
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: some gifts and buy her some stuff, but she kept tripping.
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: So finally he wanted to go over there and see
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: where her head at. But she told you where her
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: head was. If you sleep with me, I'm gonna be
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: a proper. So he stopped sending her stuff because she
- 1:12:56Speaker 7: might use him against me. Yesterday, I tried to smooth
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: things over to see what head was at. She told
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: you where our head was at. And now your question
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: is she has no reason to be hurt because she
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: knew what it was from the start. No food, you
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: knew what it was from the start. She was gonna
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: be a problem. Now, he saying, Now I'm scared for
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: my life and my marriage. What now you scared for
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: your life and your marriage? How crazy is she? She
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: told you she was crazy. I'm gonna be a problem.
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: Am my handling this situation with my friend the right way?
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Bruh?
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: Quit calling her your friend? She your lover, And she
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: told you she was gonna be a problem. If you
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: came up here and y'all got it together, please help. No,
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: we not gonna help because you don't need no help. Yeah,
- 1:13:44Speaker 7: you need to stop cheating because you don't know how
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: it is. She told you up front the rules of
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: cheating with her. She keeping her word.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, we got

- 1:16:39Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: We have time for Khalil.
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: On Steve Harvey FM, Steve needs some advice, he says,
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: after being married for three years, I've been told that
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: I'm now setting a bad example by my wife. Every
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: other week I have some of my friends over and
- 1:16:54Speaker 8: we have a poker night in the basement. Of course,
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: it comes with the expected amount of laughing, drinking, and
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: noise you'd expect from the fellas on Poker Knight. Now
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: we have a newborn baby, and I'm suddenly expected to
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: change everything, even though our son is on the second
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: floor of the house and nowhere near the poker game.
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: My wife is mentioned on several occasions that my poker
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: Knight is a bad influence on our boy. Am I
- 1:17:20Speaker 8: really expected to be a totally different person now that
- 1:17:23Speaker 8: we have a son? Why hasn't this issue come up
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: before it was such a problem.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Well, y'all didn't have a newborn before.
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: But I don't see as a newborn how you a
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: bad influence on the boy because you haven't a poker knot.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: I expect all of.
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: My boys to smoke cigall. I expected all of my boys.
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: I've taught them all how to get them all were
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: gonna like Poka Knight. I've set them down and showed them.
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: I showed them how to shoot dice. I taught my
- 1:17:55Speaker 7: sons the video poker Roulette Wheel. I taught them Blackjack.
- 1:17:59Speaker 7: I show they know when they staying hole all that,
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: they know thirteen you'll hit.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: I know all that.
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: So I don't know what you're talking about. You have
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: really text the wrong person. Is he raising his son
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: or is he raising a future cardinal? What do you
- 1:18:18Speaker 7: want in your family? Because we're not Catholic, so you're
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: not fit to be the cardinal day. Ain't no black
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: smoke fin to go up over at the Vatican and
- 1:18:27Speaker 7: all of a sudden they pick you and you're gonna
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: be the black Pope.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: You're not finna be that. You're not finna be that.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: So you're saying, it's okay.
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: Yeah, what that got to do with your baby? He
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: don't know what poker is, all right, that's it a
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: bad influence, lady. You're going too far with that, dude.
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: We have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:47Speaker 8: up right after them. You're listening to the Steve Harvey

- 1:19:50Speaker 7: Nothing requires him by law to put you in a wheel.

- 1:24:59Speaker 8: Globe Life Today at one eight hundred two five one
- 1:25:02Speaker 8: fifty four hundred, or visit globelifradio dot com. I guess
- 1:25:06Speaker 8: that's one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred
- 1:25:09Speaker 8: or globelifradio dot com. Here we are guys, our last
- 1:25:13Speaker 8: break of the day on this Thursday, And yeah, Steve.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: Hey, you know something.
- 1:25:19Speaker 7: I was online and I saw a tribute song to
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: Malcolm Jamal Warner by R Kelly and I listened to
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: it and man, oh, man o man, what a great
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: song man. That song was so powerfully written and it
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: was written by R.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Kelly. Not listen to me.
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: I know what R Kelly is in jail for, and
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: I didn't put him there, most certainly I didn't. I'm
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: not to judge the jury. It is not my job
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: to judge people. And I understand how people delve out forgiveness.
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: If it don't happen to you, it's probably easier to
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: forgive than it is for anybody else.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: I got all of that.
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: I'm just talking about the song. The song was a
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: great tribute to Malcolm Jamal Warner, and I thought the
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: song was so well done. And kudos to R Kelly
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: for doing that from whatever he is and for whatever
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: he's in for. And I know that people want to
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: have it. How could you listen to something that's something? Hey, man,
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: I got a lot of friends that made lot of mistakes.
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: I had a lot of friends. Now R Kelly and
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: I were never friends, but that's not my position. I'm
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: just talking about the song and if you get a
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: chance to listen to it, it's a good listen. Great
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: song by R. Kelly for this brother who meant so
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: much to the culture. Just shout out, okay, Junior, what
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: you got.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:38Speaker 11: So I was talking with some fellas man, and we
- 1:26:40Speaker 11: were just talking about the pressures of stuff, you know,
- 1:26:43Speaker 11: with the society that we're living in. Everything happened in
- 1:26:45Speaker 11: this country, and some of the men were just saying, man,
- 1:26:48Speaker 11: I'm thinking about what if I fail, What if I
- 1:26:50Speaker 11: lose you know what, I quit?
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: What if I dot dot dot?
- 1:26:55Speaker 11: They just kept naming things, and I said, I'm gonna
- 1:26:58Speaker 11: ask Uncle Steve and see how he talked to men
- 1:27:00Speaker 11: about these type of situations.
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: Well, you know, you can what if your way out
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: of so many situations. You know, whenever I come up
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: with an idea and I present it to the team,
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: what I will not allow my team to do is
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: to come back to me and tell me why it
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: won't work. I know why it won't work. That's not
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: why I have the idea. Every idea you come up
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: with is going to have opposition to it. Every idea
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: you come up with will have the challenges that come
- 1:27:30Speaker 7: with every idea. Any thought of changing anything is going
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: to come with an equal and opposite reaction. So when
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: I go to my team and I say I got
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: this new idea, I don't need you telling me why
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: it won't work. I got all that. How can we
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: make it work? The opposition will present itself anyway. So, folks,
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: if I were you, I would get out of the
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: what if business because what if business is kind of
- 1:27:57Speaker 7: like statistics, you know, and what I've learned about statistics.
- 1:28:00Speaker 7: Statistics is for you losers. Man for statistics off of
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: people who want to justify when something didn't go their way.
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: One out of every ten people, one out of a
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: you know, if you play the lottery is one out
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: of a billion chance, But some when somebody hit the lottery, though,
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: now what you're looking crazy for? You didn't play it,
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: but that person took the one out of a billion chance.
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: It is the chances in life that pay off. If
- 1:28:33Speaker 7: you never take the chance, that will never be a payoff.
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: You only win when you risk, You only win when
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: you play the game. You only score when you shoot
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: the ball. Well, what if I missed the shot. Well,
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: keep dribbling, then what that do? Just keep dribbling? What
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: if he dropped the ball? When I throw the touchdown pass,
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: I'll tell you what.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: Don't throw it.
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: Just let your receive a run up the field and
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: never throw the ball. So you don't get an incompletion
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: on your record.
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: But guess what. You don't get no completion either. You
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: don't get no touchdown. You don't get no celebration, you
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: don't get no win. Don't get hung up into what
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: if it don't work? I'll tell you what if you
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: do not try, if you do not attempt, if you
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: do not move forward. I have one thing I can
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: guarantee you one thousand percent. I can promise you this.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: You will fail. It will not happen. It cannot happen
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: without the effort. It cannot happen without the risk. Life
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: is risk y'all now.
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: I know sometimes, man, when you take a chance and
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: it don't work, you consider that a failure.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: I consider that and as the lesson I needed to learn,
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: so when I go again, I can get it right.
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: Stop looking at every time you fail at something as
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: a negative. It's a part of the process. Everybody I
- 1:30:13Speaker 7: know that's a winner has been a loser, but they
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: just didn't look at it as being a loser.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: That's round one, down ding round two. It's a fight.
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: I was watching on the internet the other day, Sugar
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: Ray Leonard against Donnie Lalan. I was watching this fight
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: and this guy knocked Sugar Ray Leonard down. Man, and
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: Sugar Ray Leonard was on wobbly legs. And I remember
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: this fight because I said, man, Sugar, go get whooped.
- 1:30:42Speaker 7: I think the boy was from Canada or something. I
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: don't know where Donny la Lan was, and it looked bad,
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: but Sugar got up and he kept fighting. Sugar made
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen, and he
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: ended up knocking this boy out. Look, man, if you
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: don't make the attempt after you get knocked down, if
- 1:31:05Speaker 7: you don't get back up, you cannot win.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: It's when you get knocked down that you stay down,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: that you lose.
- 1:31:11Speaker 7: You knoww many times I've been knocked down in my life, man,
- 1:31:14Speaker 7: But every time I been knocked down, by the grace
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: of God, I got up. And you know why I
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: got up, because I just kept the faith. You got
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: to operate on faith. Faith is a belief in things
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: that you cannot see. Yeah, what if it don't work?
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: What if it You ain't got to see it work,
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: but you do got to go forward though. Don't get
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: hung up on the what els operate in faith, man
- 1:31:42Speaker 7: operate on faith. Those are my closing remarks. Hope that
- 1:31:44Speaker 7: helped you.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: God. We'll see y'all tomorrow with another one.
- 1:31:48Speaker 7: In the meantime, talk to God today, you'd absolutely love
- 1:31:50Speaker 7: to hear from him.
