- 0:12Speaker 1: Wednesday Friday when we put it out center. We've got
- 0:15Speaker 1: a lot to talk about on the show, including we
- 0:18Speaker 1: had tax Day.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I wrote my big check and man, it made me mad.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Just want to be clear about that, because I'm like,
- 0:24Speaker 1: what am I getting from all of this? I know
- 0:26Speaker 1: many Americans feel the same way. But the good news
- 0:28Speaker 1: is you paid a lot less this year, less this
- 0:31Speaker 1: year than you would have if Democrats are still in charge.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Well, April fifteenth, tax Day just came and went. And
- 0:38Speaker 3: number one, if Democrats had been in charge, we would
- 0:41Speaker 3: have seen a four trillion dollar tax increase on January first.
- 0:45Speaker 4: That's what Kamala Harris wanted.
- 0:47Speaker 3: That's what Democrats wanted, which means every one of us,
- 0:50Speaker 3: every working family in America would have paid more taxes.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Every small business in America, every employer in America would
- 0:56Speaker 3: have paid a lot more in taxes. That's number one,
- 1:00Speaker 3: But number two not only did we make the Trump
- 1:04Speaker 3: tax cuts permanent, but we passed major new tax cuts
- 1:09Speaker 3: and people are just seeing the benefits of it right now.
- 1:12Speaker 3: So more than fifty three million people, that's almost half
- 1:16Speaker 3: of all tax filers in America have taken advantage of
- 1:21Speaker 3: the new tax cuts that we passed into law. And
- 1:24Speaker 3: some of the numbers are stunning. So, no tax on overtime.
- 1:28Speaker 3: More than twenty five million Americans claimed no tax on overtime.
- 1:32Speaker 3: The average deduction was over three thousand, one hundred dollars. Now,
- 1:38Speaker 3: no tax on tips. No tax on tips. I wrote
- 1:41Speaker 3: that legislation. That was my legislation. More than six million
- 1:46Speaker 3: Americans have claimed no tax on tips. The average deduction
- 1:51Speaker 3: was more than seven thousand, one hundred dollars. I'll tell
- 1:54Speaker 3: you I got a haircut today. My barber was giving
- 1:58Speaker 3: me a high five. He was thrilled and said it
- 2:02Speaker 3: made an awesome difference for him seven grand.
- 2:05Speaker 4: That's real money.
- 2:06Speaker 1: And especially if you're working on those hourly wages and
- 2:09Speaker 1: you depend on those tips like it's a it's a
- 2:12Speaker 1: large part of your of your income.
- 2:15Speaker 4: It absolutely is.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And and no tax on tips is benefiting waiters and
- 2:20Speaker 3: waitresses and barbers and hairstylists and and UH taxicab drivers
- 2:25Speaker 3: and people who drive ubers and and millions of Americans
- 2:28Speaker 3: who rely on tips and and and are working hard
- 2:32Speaker 3: uh to provide for their families.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they really are.
- 2:34Speaker 1: And I want to ask you about just how big
- 2:36Speaker 1: of a delay this was because of reality of it
- 2:39Speaker 1: kicking in. Now we're going to talk about that in
- 2:41Speaker 1: a moment, but first I also want to tell you
- 2:42Speaker 1: about our friends at bitcoin IRA. Before I get to that, though,
- 2:47Speaker 1: I want to tell you about my good friends over
- 2:49Speaker 1: it bitcoin IRA. I got to ask you a question.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Can you buy roe bitcoin in your retirement account? Well,
- 2:57Speaker 1: if not, it's time to upgrade to bit coin IRA.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's twenty twenty six and cryptocurrency is where so many
- 3:04Speaker 1: investors are going and diversify. You can buy and sell
- 3:09Speaker 1: bitcoin inside a tax advantage IRA with bitcoin IRA, and
- 3:14Speaker 1: that gives you more ways to diversify and grow your
- 3:17Speaker 1: retirement savings. Security is their number one priority, and your

- 3:30Speaker 1: digital asset insurance. So what are you waiting for? Get
- 3:35Speaker 1: in the bitcoin game today and diversify your portfolio, you
- 3:40Speaker 1: actually talk to a real person eight six six six
- 3:44Speaker 1: seven nine six' eight seven one eight six six six
- 3:49Speaker 1: seven nine seven eight seven to one or bitcoin ira
- 3:55Speaker 1: dot com slash ben that's bitcoin ira dot com slash
- 3:59Speaker 1: ben to in a free account and turn up to
- 4:01Speaker 1: one thousand dollar. Bonus right, Now, Saner let's go back
- 4:06Speaker 1: to the tip aspect of. This and this is a
- 4:08Speaker 1: part THAT i think for so Many, americans and this
- 4:11Speaker 1: was part of the struggle with The White house WHEN
- 4:13Speaker 1: i was talking with. Them you do this legislation and
- 4:16Speaker 1: then it takes time for it to become a reality
- 4:19Speaker 1: after its pass and so so much of What Donald
- 4:22Speaker 1: trump did in the first year in, office you don't
- 4:24Speaker 1: feel it until the next year when it becomes. Law
- 4:28Speaker 1: we just now are seeing the fruits of the labor
- 4:30Speaker 1: of you pushing so hard the, present pushing so hard
- 4:33Speaker 1: for no tax on tips and no tax in. Overtime
- 4:36Speaker 1: that's why you didn't get that high five from your
- 4:38Speaker 1: barber nine months.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Ago you got it yesterday when you got.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Your haircut well.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Correct and the tax the tax cut was signed into
- 4:47Speaker 3: law on the fourth Of july last, year and it
- 4:50Speaker 3: went into effect in twenty twenty. Five but the problem
- 4:54Speaker 3: is most people don't immediately realize the benefit of a
- 4:57Speaker 3: tax cut when it goes into. Effects they realize it
- 5:00Speaker 3: In april when they file their, taxes and most people
- 5:02Speaker 3: get a. Refund let me give you some more stats
- 5:04Speaker 3: because we're not done in terms of who's benefited from.
- 5:07Speaker 3: This so no tax on car. Loans over a Million
- 5:12Speaker 3: americans claimed that. Benefit the average benefit was right just
- 5:18Speaker 3: over one eight dollars for no tax on car.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Loans now here's the most.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Families if you've got two, cars or you've got kids
- 5:26Speaker 1: and you have three car, loans that. HAPPENS i mean
- 5:28Speaker 1: my point in my family's, LIFE i know they had
- 5:30Speaker 1: had carlon on four different.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Cars that's, real real.
- 5:34Speaker 1: MONEY i mean you're talking that can be three four
- 5:36Speaker 1: grand a year to a family of four that's trying to.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Survive that's not a little bit of.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Money that covers, maintenance that covers, tires that covers, gas
- 5:46Speaker 1: all of these different things towards your.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Car it's a huge, savings.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Undoubtedly and the most far reaching of all of these
- 5:52Speaker 3: was no tax On Social. Security more than thirty million
- 5:57Speaker 3: tax filers claim, that and the average deduction was more
- 6:02Speaker 3: than seven five hundred dollars. Each that is real money
- 6:07Speaker 3: for seniors who need, relief for seniors who were hit
- 6:10Speaker 3: hard by The biden. Inflation so what did that shake
- 6:14Speaker 3: out to, People, well the average refund was a little
- 6:17Speaker 3: bit more than three four hundred dollars that you got.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Back that is an eleven percent. Increase so the refunds
- 6:23Speaker 3: are larger this year than they were last year because
- 6:25Speaker 3: of the tax, cut and a total of about two
- 6:29Speaker 3: hundred and seventy four billion dollars in refunds have gone.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Out and THEN i will say on top of, that
- 6:37Speaker 3: we also have nearly five million kids have already signed
- 6:43Speaker 3: up for The trump, accounts and a total of one
- 6:47Speaker 3: point two million kids qualify for the initial one thousand dollars.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Contribution and so The trump accounts are going to have
- 6:57Speaker 3: a massive. IMPACT i wrote that legislation as. Well between
- 7:02Speaker 3: no tax On tips and The Trump, accounts you're talking
- 7:06Speaker 3: about millions and millions of people. Benefiting and you, KNOW
- 7:11Speaker 3: i told you the story of where the idea for
- 7:13Speaker 3: no tax on tips came.
- 7:14Speaker 2: From, yeah but many people may not remember that.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Story So President, trump this is during the twenty twenty four,
- 7:21Speaker 3: campaign he was in he was In Las vegas.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And he was getting town if there's ever been.
- 7:27Speaker 3: One he was getting ready to do a huge, rally
- 7:30Speaker 3: and he was sitting there having, lunch and so he
- 7:32Speaker 3: tells all The republican senators this. Story he, said there
- 7:34Speaker 3: was a waitress who was serving him lunch who came
- 7:38Speaker 3: up And trump goes and she was. Beautiful she was,
- 7:41Speaker 3: beautiful and he, said she looked she looked a little.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Frenzied and he, said how are you? Doing what's going?
- 7:47Speaker 3: On and she, said she, said it was really a
- 7:50Speaker 3: really Difficult it was really burdened some to keep track
- 7:53Speaker 3: of all the tips and to comply with the taxes on.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Tips And trump said he just pulled a piece of
- 8:00Speaker 3: paper and a pen and he wrote down four, words
- 8:04Speaker 3: no tax on. Tips and he held it up to
- 8:08Speaker 3: her and, said what do you think of?
- 8:09Speaker 2: This she said.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Fantastic so he went out to this, rally you, know
- 8:12Speaker 3: thousands and thousands of, people and he, SAID i Figured
- 8:15Speaker 3: i'd just try it. Out so he said no tax on.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Tips that everyone went, crazy And nevada twenty five percent
- 8:22Speaker 3: of the workers are tipped. Workers and so he rolled
- 8:25Speaker 3: it out at the. Rally he tells all of us that,
- 8:28Speaker 3: story AND i went to my team and, said let's
- 8:30Speaker 3: draft the legislation right. Now so we wrote the. Bill
- 8:33Speaker 3: it was his idea he came up with at the,
- 8:35Speaker 3: rally but we wrote the. Bill that's what passed into,
- 8:38Speaker 3: law and all, together fifty three million people are benefiting
- 8:42Speaker 3: from these tax.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Cuts there is a big race out there In california that's.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Happening you may have heard a little bit about it
- 8:50Speaker 2: if you're.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Listening there's some congressman guy That Eric, swalwell that likes
- 8:54Speaker 1: sleeping with spies From. China he's now out of a
- 8:58Speaker 1: job and out of the, race and that race In
- 9:01Speaker 1: california for the governor's. Office there's also a billionaire that's
- 9:05Speaker 1: ripping on, billionaires wanting to tax More americans In. California
- 9:09Speaker 1: and he also, said if you'll just elect, Me i'm
- 9:12Speaker 1: gonna go find ice agents and put him in. Jail
- 9:15Speaker 1: and this is now The Democratic party In. California.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yeah, look the political scene In california is a basket.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Case that's that's actually not fair to. BASKETS i, mean
- 9:26Speaker 3: it is an absolute. Mess just a few days, Ago
- 9:30Speaker 3: Eric swalwell was the front, runner The democrat front runner
- 9:33Speaker 3: running for. Governor Uh swalwell has since dropped out of
- 9:37Speaker 3: the race and resigned From. Congress so we all said
- 9:40Speaker 3: to Mister, swalwell bye.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Bye he.
- 9:44Speaker 3: LEFT i will point out this podcast predicted On monday
- 9:48Speaker 3: predicted That swalwell would drop out and That Tony, gonzalez
- 9:51Speaker 3: A republican From texas who also had an affair with a,
- 9:55Speaker 3: staffer and the circumstances surrounding it are are stir being
- 10:00Speaker 3: and and really tragic that that staffer took her life
- 10:04Speaker 3: by by lighting herself on.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Fire it was really it was.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Horrific and we predicted on On monday that that that
- 10:12Speaker 3: that both would end up, resigning and both did. Resign
- 10:16Speaker 3: that that happened this, week and so we're down two
- 10:18Speaker 3: members Of, congress One, democrat One. Republican you, Know swallwell
- 10:22Speaker 3: resigned because he faced multiple allegations of really gross sexual
- 10:28Speaker 3: harassment of staffers who worked for, him also allegations of
- 10:33Speaker 3: not just harassment but actual sexual assault and. RAPE i
- 10:37Speaker 3: don't know if those allegations are true or, not but
- 10:39Speaker 3: they were serious and, credible and multiple journalistic outlets reported on.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Them so The democrat front runner is an accused. Rapist
- 10:47Speaker 3: he drops, out and who's the next guy in. Line
- 10:50Speaker 3: the next guy on line Is Tom. Steyer Tom steyer
- 10:53Speaker 3: in Classic democrat hypocrite. Status Tom steyer is a billionaire because,
- 11:00Speaker 3: look to be, honest their party is the party of the.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Rich that's who they. Represent but he's not just a,
- 11:06Speaker 3: billionaire he's a hypocrite. Billionaire so he made much of
- 11:09Speaker 3: his money investing in energy and oil and, gas and
- 11:12Speaker 3: now he's a climate zealot because now that he's made his,
- 11:15Speaker 3: money he's perfectly happy to impoverish, you to drive your
- 11:18Speaker 3: electricity cost through the, roof to drive your gas costs
- 11:22Speaker 3: through the, roof to do everything to hurt your family
- 11:24Speaker 3: and make it harder for you to provide for your.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Kids but even, so A democrat, primary especially In, california
- 11:33Speaker 3: is a race to see who can be the most batcrap.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Crazy and by the, Way swalwell was.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Winning he was the most batcrap, crazy but he couldn't
- 11:45Speaker 3: keep his pants, on so he's. Out so Tom steyer immediately,
- 11:49Speaker 3: Says i'm your. HUCKLEBERRY i can be every bit as
- 11:53Speaker 3: crazy As Eric. Swalwell, now as best we, know there
- 11:57Speaker 3: was not A chinese spy Named fangfang. Around so he
- 11:59Speaker 3: didn't just take her to his. Bedroom he decided instead to, tweet,
- 12:07Speaker 3: wow is. Right ice is a criminal. Organization as, Governor
- 12:14Speaker 3: i'll prosecute them like.
- 12:15Speaker 4: One and that.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Is.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Astonishing, look The democrats are an open border party that
- 12:25Speaker 3: they don't pretend. Anymore they are for full open. Borders
- 12:29Speaker 3: they're the party of illegal, aliens As Chris murphy admitted
- 12:33Speaker 3: candidly ON. Msnbc the people they care most, about they Being,
- 12:38Speaker 3: democrats are illegal. Aliens that's who they're fighting. For Tom
- 12:43Speaker 3: steyer is also apparently the governor for the drug traffickers
- 12:47Speaker 3: and the human, traffickers for The mexican drug. Cartels and
- 12:51Speaker 3: he's really upset AT ice BECAUSE ice has this nasty
- 12:55Speaker 3: little habit of arresting violent, criminals arresting, murderers arresting, rapist
- 13:00Speaker 3: arresting child, molesters arresting gang. Bangers and what Is Tom
- 13:05Speaker 3: steyer saying if he is the, governor he doesn't want
- 13:08Speaker 3: the murderers. Arrested, no, no, no that that's his. Base the,
- 13:11Speaker 3: rapist the child, molesters the gang. Bangers he wants more
- 13:14Speaker 3: gang bangers in your. Neighborhood that's what The democrats are promising. You,
- 13:18Speaker 3: no what he's gonna do is he's going to arrest
- 13:20Speaker 3: and prosecute and put in jail federal law enforcement. Officers
- 13:25Speaker 3: this is even for The, democrats beyond extreme and it
- 13:33Speaker 3: shows just who they are and how nuts they.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Are, yeah it.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Does and again he thinks is the issue to run off,
- 13:41Speaker 1: of and that's the. PART i, ALSO i think it's
- 13:43Speaker 1: a shock and it.
- 13:43Speaker 3: May be the same thing is this could be accurate
- 13:47Speaker 3: good politics In California democrat a primary.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Well and if it goes well for, him it's going
- 13:54Speaker 1: to embold in Other democrats to openly run on the
- 13:58Speaker 1: same issues they try to push on our. THROATS a
- 14:00Speaker 1: couple of years, ago when it was defund the, police
- 14:02Speaker 1: right that that was a great.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Example when they were going after the. Police they want
- 14:06Speaker 2: to defund.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Them they wanted to shut down the, jails they wanted
- 14:08Speaker 1: to shut down police officers and headquarters and just get
- 14:11Speaker 1: rid of anybody with a.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Badge now he's saying it with.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Ice if you have him run off this and it does,
- 14:16Speaker 1: WELL i think there's no doubt that The democrats would
- 14:18Speaker 1: float this for their presidential. Platform in twenty twenty eight as.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Well and understand This Banana Republic kok is not even
- 14:28Speaker 3: saying defund the. Police he's saying put the police in
- 14:31Speaker 3: jail that he, WANT i want to lock. Up and
- 14:34Speaker 3: understand by the way he, knows he's lying to his.
- 14:39Speaker 3: People it isn't going to. Happen and if he, tried
- 14:43Speaker 3: let me tell you what would happen if he, tried
- 14:45Speaker 3: number what.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Happened because he's saying to that he's give him no,
- 14:47Speaker 1: finger not only The Supreme court but also to federal.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Laws, yeah so, look it's. Reminiscent, actually well, here give a.
- 14:56Speaker 3: LISTEN i was asked by The Wall Street journal this
- 14:57Speaker 3: week about, it and give a listen to WHAT i
- 14:59Speaker 3: say of who it's reminiscent. Of so on, immigration The
- 15:05Speaker 3: democrats are now square on an open border. Party, Today Tom,
- 15:10Speaker 3: steyer the Leading democrat candidate for governor In, california is,
- 15:15Speaker 3: saying if he's elected, governor he is going to arrest
- 15:18Speaker 3: federal ice officers.
- 15:19Speaker 4: And put them in.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Jail that's an extreme position that is reminiscent actually of
- 15:26Speaker 6: Another democrat from a different, Era Bull, connor where you
- 15:30Speaker 6: Had Southern democrats that did not want to comply with
- 15:33Speaker 6: federal law that pledged massive.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Resistance that extremism is not good for the.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Country it's not good for the.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Country but this is now The Democratic, party Which i'll
- 15:43Speaker 1: say it over and over, Again, CENTER i believe The
- 15:45Speaker 1: Democratic party is. DEAD i believe they are Now marxist
- 15:47Speaker 1: socialists and, communists and now some of them are just
- 15:49Speaker 1: showing who they actually are and what they actually believe.
- 15:52Speaker 1: In we've seen, this by the way IN dc with
- 15:54Speaker 1: the defunding OF ice. Agents theyre, like this is socialism
- 15:57Speaker 1: that is now completely infiltrated The Democratic. PARTY i want
- 16:00Speaker 1: to take a quick moment and talk to you about
- 16:02Speaker 1: an incredible organization and it is Called Compassion, international and
- 16:07Speaker 1: how you can get. INVOLVED i want to be honest
- 16:10Speaker 1: with you for a second about how an act of
- 16:12Speaker 1: compassion really. FEELS a couple of years, AGO i made
- 16:15Speaker 1: the choice to partner with an amazing organization Called Compassion.
- 16:20Speaker 1: International why BECAUSE i wanted to sponsor a child in.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Need it was a nice, idea, sure BUT i had
- 16:27Speaker 1: no idea just how much that simple act would change
- 16:31Speaker 1: my life as. WELL i Sponsored nadia and got to
- 16:35Speaker 1: watch your life change right in front of my. Eyes
- 16:38Speaker 1: going from starving literally alone on the streets to getting
- 16:42Speaker 1: the healthcare and education she needs to reach Her god
- 16:46Speaker 1: given full. POTENTIAL i got to be a part of that,
- 16:49Speaker 1: change and the light of that compassion not only illuminates in,
- 16:53Speaker 1: her it illuminates now in. Me that is the power of.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Compassion the light Of christ shines on all of. Us
- 17:02Speaker 1: feel it for yourself and change literally a child's, life
- 17:06Speaker 1: change the, world and you also change. Yourself you can
- 17:09Speaker 1: sponsor child. Today visit compassion dot. Com that's compassion dot.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Com let's talk about reality. Here what would happen if
- 17:21Speaker 1: you had a governor who ordered the police and state
- 17:24Speaker 1: law enforcement to actually do, this and what would the
- 17:27Speaker 1: repercussions actually.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Be so generally you avoid conflicts like, this state and
- 17:34Speaker 3: federal law. Enforcement they don't go after each, other and
- 17:37Speaker 3: there's just an element of comedy where the two sides
- 17:40Speaker 3: don't try to lock each other. Up there was an
- 17:44Speaker 3: episode actually of The West wing where they had this,
- 17:48Speaker 3: happen a battle between the federal, government and of course
- 17:51Speaker 3: they had it as A republican governor in The south
- 17:55Speaker 3: who was threatening to lock up federal. Agents and at
- 17:59Speaker 3: the end of the, day the states are going to
- 18:01Speaker 3: lose that. Battle we've Seen democrats try that, before AS
- 18:05Speaker 3: i Mentioned Bull connor and The Southern. Democrats they tried massive.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Resistance but by the, Way i'm just mad at you
- 18:12Speaker 1: right now because Now i'm gonna have to go watch
- 18:13Speaker 1: That West wing episode and figure out which season it,
- 18:15Speaker 1: is because that's one of my favorite, shows also one
- 18:17Speaker 1: of your.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Favorites but, now, like, great NOW i know What i'm doing.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Tonight, WELL i don't remember what episode it. Was it's
- 18:22Speaker 3: been a while Since i've watched the, series but it
- 18:24Speaker 3: is a great. Series, look if they actually ended up
- 18:29Speaker 3: arresting federal, agents then you would see The department Of
- 18:32Speaker 3: justice go and file a first of, all a rid
- 18:35Speaker 3: of habeas, corpus which Is latin for produce the, body
- 18:38Speaker 3: and a federal judge would order them release that there
- 18:41Speaker 3: is law enforcement immunity and they would be ordered. Released
- 18:43Speaker 3: but beyond, that if you actually had, so you Have
- 18:46Speaker 3: Tom steyer ordering police go arrest, them go stop them
- 18:50Speaker 3: from carrying out their. Job they're a host of federal
- 18:53Speaker 3: criminal statutes that put criminal penalties for impeding federal law. Enforcement,
- 18:58Speaker 3: so for, example there's EIGHTEEN. Usc section three seventy. Two
- 19:03Speaker 3: that is conspiracy to prevent a federal officer from discharging.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Duties and because it's a, conspiracy it would reach the.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Governor AND i guarantee you if you Had Tom steyer
- 19:16Speaker 3: locking up and PUTTING ice agents in, JAIL i have
- 19:19Speaker 3: a high level of confidence that The Attorney general Under
- 19:21Speaker 3: Donald trump would show up at the governor's office and
- 19:24Speaker 3: Arrest Tom. Steyer if he ended up as, governor would
- 19:27Speaker 3: arrest him and charge him with violating EIGHTEEN. Usc section
- 19:31Speaker 3: three seventy. Two that's not. It there's another statue EIGHTEEN.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Usc section one one one that makes it a crime, assaulting,
- 19:40Speaker 3: resisting or impeding federal. Officers that's What Tom styer is
- 19:43Speaker 3: talking about. Doing there's another statute EIGHTEEN. Usc section fifteen
- 19:48Speaker 3: oh nine that makes it a federal crime obstruction of court.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Orders and this is relevant if a federal court has
- 19:57Speaker 3: AUTHORIZED ice. Activity if they're out pursue it to a
- 20:01Speaker 3: federal court, order the governor would only have qualified immunity
- 20:09Speaker 3: for nineteen eighty three claims and arresting federal law enforcement
- 20:13Speaker 3: is outside the boundary of clearly established. Law so what
- 20:17Speaker 3: does that. Mean it means that if you sue the
- 20:19Speaker 3: governor for. Damages there's something called qualified immunity that protects
- 20:27Speaker 3: a government official from being, sued but that only applies
- 20:34Speaker 3: if the conduct question is not in violation of clearly established.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Law going and arresting federal law enforcement, officers you would
- 20:43Speaker 3: face not only criminal, prosecution you would face civil. Liability
- 20:48Speaker 3: and then hold, on there's one more. Approach the most
- 20:53Speaker 3: extreme approach, that to be, Honest President trump would continue
- 20:56Speaker 3: consider would be mobilizing the military to free federal law law.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Enforcement The Insurrection act allows for the deployment of. Troops
- 21:07Speaker 3: that's TEN. Usc section two fifty, two and here's what it,
- 21:12Speaker 3: says use of militia and armed forces to enforce federal.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Authority whenever The president considers that unlawful, obstructions, combinations or,
- 21:24Speaker 3: assemblages or rebellion against the authority of The United states
- 21:30Speaker 3: make it impracticable to enforce the laws of The United
- 21:33Speaker 3: states in any state by the ordinary course of judicial,
- 21:38Speaker 3: proceedings he may call into service federal service such of
- 21:43Speaker 3: the militia of any, state and use such of the
- 21:47Speaker 3: armed forces as he considers necessary to enforce those laws
- 21:54Speaker 3: or to suppress the. Rebellion, and by the, way this
- 21:56Speaker 3: is not. Theoretical President Dwight diyes And howard sent troops
- 22:02Speaker 3: To Little rock because the, governor Another, Democrat Warville, fabas defied.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Him and that's What eisenhower. Did and so If Tom
- 22:10Speaker 3: steyer really wants to go down that, road an option
- 22:14Speaker 3: That trump would have available is sending the military to
- 22:17Speaker 3: free the law enforcement and also to detain and Prosecute Tom.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Steyer that's Why steyer knows he's, bluffing but he's counting
- 22:27Speaker 3: On democrat voters not to know anything about the law
- 22:31Speaker 3: and just to love his appeal to. Lawlessness we hate the,
- 22:35Speaker 3: police that's The democrat.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Base let me ask you another, question Just i'm become
- 22:40Speaker 1: so cynical. ONE i feel like there's a long history
- 22:44Speaker 1: now of like looking at elected officials that commit crimes
- 22:48Speaker 1: or do things that are that are like, this and
- 22:50Speaker 1: they don't really get held accountable for. It so there's
- 22:53Speaker 1: part of me that, says just being devil's advocate, Here,
- 22:55Speaker 1: okay if If I'm, tom there would be like a
- 23:00Speaker 1: legitimate like pride flag Of Donald trump came and arrested,
- 23:04Speaker 1: me which could possibly make you even more, popular like
- 23:07Speaker 1: it would these if you're charging him the way that
- 23:11Speaker 1: you just described, it would he actually really go to
- 23:14Speaker 1: jail or it would just be like a mugshot and
- 23:15Speaker 1: he'd be Like Donald trump arrested me AND i stood
- 23:17Speaker 1: strong kind of, thing like a political.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Thing i'm not. Joking THAT'S i think that's where The democrats.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Are there's no doubt that's where The democrats are. Now,
- 23:25Speaker 3: now there was this this, judge this state JUDGE i
- 23:29Speaker 3: THINK i think it Was. Minnesota where was the state
- 23:31Speaker 3: judge who Impeded ice and secreted.
- 23:34Speaker 2: The THE i remember, Correctly and she was.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Prosecuted she has lost her, job and she's been prosecuted
- 23:41Speaker 3: and criminally.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Convicted she was helping them get out of the.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Courthouse, yeah people may not remember that, story but she
- 23:46Speaker 1: literally knew That ice was there and like walked out
- 23:49Speaker 1: an illegal immigrant to help them flee from being detained By.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Ice and they went and caught the illegal. Immigrant she
- 23:55Speaker 3: smuggled him out of the court. Room and she was
- 23:57Speaker 3: prosecuted and she's no longer a, judge and she's been criminally.
- 24:02Speaker 3: CONVICTED i believe she's serving jail, time ALTHOUGH i don't
- 24:05Speaker 3: have that in front of, Me but that's that's WHAT
- 24:06Speaker 3: i think.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Happened, look so you think that this would be real
- 24:09Speaker 1: if it actually, happened like he would get more than a.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Mugshot it depends what he.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Does so he would actually have to significantly obstruct federal law.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Enforcement if he just tweeting it is not a, crime.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Yep if he actually did, it that would be. CRIMINAL
- 24:28Speaker 3: i don't think he'd do. It and by the, way
- 24:30Speaker 3: it's not clear to me at all law enforcement would
- 24:32Speaker 3: follow his orders to do. It if you're the police,
- 24:35Speaker 3: officer you don't really want to go arrest federal law
- 24:37Speaker 3: enforcement and you could face prosecution for.
- 24:40Speaker 4: That that's why these things really get.
- 24:42Speaker 2: It on THIS i had to.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Look So hannah Dug, and The Milwaukee, County wisconsin, judge
- 24:47Speaker 1: was convicted of felony.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Obstruction, wisconsin so it was Not, Minnesota.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Wisconsin she was convicted of felony obstruction On december the,
- 24:55Speaker 1: eighteenth twenty twenty, five for helping an undocumented immigrant evade
- 24:58Speaker 1: federal ice agents outside her. Courtroom she resigned In january
- 25:02Speaker 1: of twenty six and men impeachment threats and now faces
- 25:05Speaker 1: up to five years in. Prison she's currently seeking a new.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Trial so there's your latest official update.
- 25:10Speaker 3: There so, look and when this, STARTED i, suspect like
- 25:16Speaker 3: most of the radical, left she felt completely. Empowered, Yeah
- 25:19Speaker 3: i'm sticking it to the. Man, well it turns out
- 25:22Speaker 3: when you commit federal, crimes it doesn't work out well for.
- 25:25Speaker 3: You and the great. Point, look, look at the end
- 25:30Speaker 3: of the, DAY i think there's a real chance That
- 25:34Speaker 3: california police would Decline stier's order, BECAUSE i, mean this
- 25:40Speaker 3: is why this normally works, out just through, comedy through
- 25:43Speaker 3: federal and local law enforcement respecting each, other because we
- 25:47Speaker 3: don't tend to have these kind of conflicts very, often
- 25:53Speaker 3: and it is a sign of just how extreme democrats are.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Today All, RIGHT i got to tell you really. Something i'm.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Exciting we got a new puppy At. Christmas i've talked
- 26:03Speaker 1: about our new, Dog birdie on the, show And bertie
- 26:07Speaker 1: is now taking rough. Greens why because it's a brand new, puppy, Right,
- 26:11Speaker 1: like why do you need to give them rough? Greens
- 26:13Speaker 1: after we saw what happened with our older Dog, memphis we,
- 26:17Speaker 1: realize why wait until the dog's? Older why not give
- 26:21Speaker 1: rough greens right now to Little? Birdie and we know
- 26:24Speaker 1: what it. Does it supports long term health by providing,
- 26:28Speaker 1: live bioavailable nutrients including essential, vitamins, minerals, probiotics digestive, enzymes
- 26:34Speaker 1: and omega. Oils now the ingredients they work together to
- 26:38Speaker 1: improve nutrition, absorption also Help bertie maintain joint and muscle
- 26:42Speaker 1: health as she grows and enhance her overall. Vitality now
- 26:47Speaker 1: we care About bertie's. Longevity we've already lost two dogs
- 26:52Speaker 1: unfortunately when they got, older and this is a way
- 26:54Speaker 1: we can do everything we can to Keep birdie around
- 26:57Speaker 1: as long as. Possible, now there are our deficiencies found
- 27:01Speaker 1: in processed, dogfood But roughcreens it supplements your dog or
- 27:05Speaker 1: your puppies diet with natural innyoxidants and anti inflammatory compounds

- 27:15Speaker 1: and slow age related to. Climb that's what we love the.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Most now it's. Easy you're not buying new. Food you
- 27:22Speaker 1: just sprinkle it on the current food that your dog
- 27:25Speaker 1: eats and, bam they love. It, so whether you've got
- 27:29Speaker 1: a puppy or an older, dog you need to check

- 28:03Speaker 2: Alive, yeah it really.
- 28:05Speaker 1: IS i want to move on to something else THAT
- 28:07Speaker 1: i think is a really interesting issue as, well and
- 28:09Speaker 1: it's happening In New York. City we'll go back to
- 28:12Speaker 1: the tax issue a little. Bit But donnie, there, man
- 28:15Speaker 1: what a. Guy he, is just all all hardcore all the,
- 28:19Speaker 1: time touting a new five hundred million a year tax
- 28:23Speaker 1: on luxury second. Homes and that's just one of his
- 28:26Speaker 1: new ideas to steal from the rich and give to the.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Poor, yeah play the video because you really got to
- 28:31Speaker 3: listen to this.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Guy WHEN i ran for, MAYOR i SAID i was
- 28:34Speaker 5: going to tax the. Rich, well today we're taxing. Thearch
- 28:40Speaker 5: i'm thrilled to announce we've secured a pew to tear,
- 28:42Speaker 5: tax the first In New york's. History this is an
- 28:44Speaker 5: annual fee on luxury. Property he's worth more than five
- 28:47Speaker 5: million dollars whose owners do not live full time in the.
- 28:50Speaker 5: City like for this, penthouse we catch ONE Ceo Ken
- 28:54Speaker 5: griffinbot for two hundred and thirty eight million. Dollars this
- 28:56Speaker 5: pew to tear tax is specifically designed for the richest
- 28:59Speaker 5: of the, rich those whostore their wealth In New York
- 29:01Speaker 5: city real, estate but who don't actually. Live but even
- 29:04Speaker 5: so they're able to reap the huge financial rewards of
- 29:06Speaker 5: owning property and DARE i, say the greatest city in
- 29:09Speaker 5: the worlds and most of the time these units are
- 29:10Speaker 5: sitting empty since again they don't actually live. Here this
- 29:14Speaker 5: is a fundamentally unfair system that hurts working new. Orders
- 29:18Speaker 5: now it's coming to an. End this tax will raise
- 29:20Speaker 5: at least five hundred million dollars directly for the, city
- 29:24Speaker 5: and it'll help fund things like free, childcare cleaner, streets
- 29:26Speaker 5: and save for. Neighborhoods as, MAYOR i believe everyone has
- 29:29Speaker 5: a role to play in contributing to our, city and
- 29:32Speaker 5: some a little bit more than. Others happy Tax day
- 29:35Speaker 5: In New.
- 29:35Speaker 1: York if you're trying to run every person out Of
- 29:40Speaker 1: New York city that has any amount of, money this
- 29:42Speaker 1: is a plan to do. It BUT i don't think
- 29:44Speaker 1: he minds doing that because he's also obsessed with like
- 29:47Speaker 1: free rent and rent control and having rents come down
- 29:50Speaker 1: and Saying i'm for the poor, guy not the rich.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Guy so if you haven't actually watched that, video you
- 29:56Speaker 3: should watch. It mandani is so. Gleeful he is, smarmy
- 30:02Speaker 3: he is. Snarky he this is vengeful and. Vindictive and,
- 30:08Speaker 3: understand this is what the left is that they they
- 30:12Speaker 3: hate people who are. Successful, look there's there's a. Hypocrisy
- 30:15Speaker 3: we talked About Tom, steyers a. Billionaire you know there's
- 30:19Speaker 3: a hypocrisy because they're also funded by the. Rich but
- 30:22Speaker 3: at the same, Time Ken, griffin who he attacks by,
- 30:25Speaker 3: name happens to be A. Republican that's not an accident
- 30:28Speaker 3: that he's attacking.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Him by, Me, yeah that was on.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Purpose AND i got to, say by the, way number,
- 30:34Speaker 3: one the vindictiveness of him to go after. That, uh
- 30:38Speaker 3: they're a whole lot of people that saw that and
- 30:40Speaker 3: picked up the phone and called a realtor and, said
- 30:43Speaker 3: get me the hell out of. Here i'm headed To,
- 30:45Speaker 3: Texas i'm headed To, Florida and AND i got to,
- 30:50Speaker 3: say let's just Take Ken. Griffin, LOOK i Hope Ken
- 30:53Speaker 3: griffin number one sells the damn. Place, yeah but number.
- 30:56Speaker 3: TWO i just pulled out my phone AND i Googled
- 31:00Speaker 3: Ken griffin is THE ceo Of, citadel a, big big financial.
- 31:03Speaker 3: FIRM i just googled how many people Do citadel employe
- 31:07Speaker 3: In New York? City and the aioverview that came up,
- 31:11Speaker 3: said as of late twenty twenty, Five citadel employees approximately
- 31:16Speaker 3: thirteen hundred to fifteen hundred people In New York. City
- 31:20Speaker 3: the headquarters is In. Miami they moved.
- 31:22Speaker 2: From chicago down to Miam bear for this exact.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Reason by the, WAY i have friends that moved To
- 31:26Speaker 1: miami because WHEN covid happened and then the taxing, stuff
- 31:30Speaker 1: it was a one to two points and they were,
- 31:31Speaker 1: like let's get the hell out of here because they're
- 31:33Speaker 1: sick and tired of paying these. Taxes there was executives,
- 31:35Speaker 1: SAID i want to work for. YOU i don't want
- 31:37Speaker 1: to work for you In New York city.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Anymore, LOOK i, HOPE i Hope Ken griffin decides to
- 31:42Speaker 3: Close Citadel's New york office and move all fifteen hundred
- 31:46Speaker 3: employees out Of New York city because Apparently mondami thinks
- 31:49Speaker 3: people that run companies and employ fifteen hundred people are
- 31:52Speaker 3: not doing anything beneficial for the. City, instead they're villains
- 31:57Speaker 3: that he wants to gleefully, attack AND I i. WOULD
- 32:01Speaker 3: i think it would be a beautiful. Response and by the, way,
- 32:06Speaker 3: Look democrats did this To Elon. Musk you, know elonassed
- 32:09Speaker 3: to have seven homes In. California he employed thousands and
- 32:13Speaker 3: thousands Of, californians And democrats hated him so. Much look DURING,
- 32:19Speaker 3: covid when we had THE covid, LOCKDOWNS i Called elon
- 32:22Speaker 3: on the. Phone he was Still californian at the, time
- 32:25Speaker 3: AND i, Said, elon come To.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Texas.
- 32:30Speaker 3: California they're a bunch of. Communists they hate. You you're
- 32:35Speaker 3: not a. Communist and there was actually a state senator
- 32:38Speaker 3: In california who, tweeted IF i remember, right she, tweeted
- 32:42Speaker 3: get the f out To. Elone and you know what he.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Did he came To. Texas he moved To, texas and
- 32:48Speaker 3: he Moved tesla To. Texas he MOVED SpaceX To. Texas
- 32:52Speaker 3: he's moved his companies To. Texas he's moved the jobs To.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Texas and by the, Way texas is. Booming elon is
- 32:57Speaker 3: employing a lot Of texans with really paying. Jobs this
- 33:02Speaker 3: Is mondami is trying to his. Zealotry you watch this,
- 33:08Speaker 3: video and if you can get out Of New York,
- 33:10Speaker 3: city you. Will but Here's mondami telling you that he
- 33:14Speaker 3: just doesn't think anyone will. Lead give a listen To
- 33:16Speaker 3: mondani explaining his.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Views and, so for all of the discussion of the
- 33:21Speaker 5: imagined exodus that would take place were we to tax
- 33:25Speaker 5: the Wealthiest New yorkers by the appropriate, AMOUNT i say,
- 33:28Speaker 5: imagined because BEFORE i was a, MAYOR i was a state,
- 33:31Speaker 5: legislator AND i was part of an effort to increase
- 33:33Speaker 5: taxes on millionaires at that. Time we were told the
- 33:36Speaker 5: same thing, Then and what we find now is that
- 33:38Speaker 5: we have more millionaires today than we did at that,
- 33:40Speaker 5: time even after having passed that. Text and so for
- 33:43Speaker 5: all of that conversation about this imagined, exodus we have
- 33:47Speaker 5: to reckon with the very real exodus that we are
- 33:50Speaker 5: seeing in the, city an exodus of working class, people
- 33:54Speaker 5: an exodus of those who cannot afford to live, here
- 33:57Speaker 5: and for many who work here who now find their
- 34:01Speaker 5: residence In Jersey, city or In, connecticut or In, pennsylvania
- 34:04Speaker 5: anywhere else, where their dollar can go a little bit.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Further and we've seen just in a snapshot from two
- 34:11Speaker 5: thousand to twenty, twenty the city lost two hundred thousand
- 34:16Speaker 5: of its black.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Residents that is.
- 34:18Speaker 5: The cost of. Inaction and so that also speaks to
- 34:21Speaker 5: the urgency of this conversation and this, advocacy and it
- 34:25Speaker 5: is a representation of the fact that while this is
- 34:27Speaker 5: a global, issue it is also very much a local
- 34:30Speaker 5: issue here In New York.
- 34:31Speaker 1: CITY i love the globalism aspect of, this, Right it's, like,
- 34:34Speaker 1: WELL i, mean it's a global issue, too like let's
- 34:36Speaker 1: spread this, globally but it's also A New york. Issue
- 34:40Speaker 1: when they say crazy things like, this believe.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Them this is what and understand when he says it's
- 34:46Speaker 3: a global, issue he means he wants to take money
- 34:48Speaker 3: from All americans and give it to where you, are
- 34:51Speaker 3: people in other. Countries he wants to redistribute the wealth Within.
- 34:55Speaker 3: America then he wants to Redistribute america's wealth to everybody,
- 34:59Speaker 3: else because every other the country on Planet earth is
- 35:01Speaker 3: poorer than The United, states and most are are much.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Poorer in, fact there was a recent poll.
- 35:09Speaker 3: In The United kingdom where they Asked british people where
- 35:13Speaker 3: they thought The United kingdom ranked VERSUS us states in
- 35:18Speaker 3: income per?
- 35:18Speaker 4: Person and what do you? Think britt, said what was?
- 35:23Speaker 2: It what is?
- 35:23Speaker 3: It so they answered that they thought they came in,
- 35:26Speaker 3: seventh that that THE uk income in THE uk was
- 35:31Speaker 3: wealthier than forty three. States do you know where they actually?
- 35:34Speaker 3: Fall where are they dead?
- 35:36Speaker 4: Last?
- 35:37Speaker 3: Really The United kingdom has lower income for person than
- 35:42Speaker 3: every single state In. America number. Fifty i'm, sorry is
- 35:46Speaker 3: is Is? Mississippi that's A mississippi is.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Fifty i'm glad you pointed that out, though but it's
- 35:52Speaker 1: still ahead of THE.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Uk so we've got that.
- 35:56Speaker 5: It.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Is and by the, way When british people find out the,
- 36:01Speaker 3: truth twenty seven percenter, shock twenty two percenter, concern fifteen
- 36:05Speaker 3: percenter disappointed or, embarrassed and only fourteen percenter motivated for.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Change look that's, It, Mondani he means, it AND i
- 36:17Speaker 3: will say it's. Interesting contrasting his comments With Kathy, hokeel
- 36:20Speaker 3: The democrat governor who we talked about at a prior.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Podcast we played her pleading with Wealthy New yorkers who
- 36:26Speaker 3: have fled to come, back and she, says come, back
- 36:30Speaker 3: why because our social programs are super, expensive and we
- 36:34Speaker 3: need you to come back so we can tax the
- 36:36Speaker 3: hell out of you to pay for the spending THAT
- 36:37Speaker 3: i want to. Do and it literally IS i don't
- 36:40Speaker 3: think there's one human being who would be persuaded by that.
