- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you as well, and Senator there was a shocking moment
- 0:08Speaker 2: at the United Nations when the Secretary General had some
- 0:14Speaker 2: shocking words to say, and now Israel is calling for
- 0:18Speaker 2: him to resign. This is spreading quickly in the world.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Your initial reaction to overall, We're going to play a
- 0:27Speaker 2: clip from it in a moment, but overall the shocking
- 0:29Speaker 2: anti semitism coming at the United Nations.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Well, the United Nations has long been a pit of
- 0:36Speaker 3: israel hatred and anti Semitism. In many ways, the United
- 0:41Speaker 3: Nations exist so that enemies of Israel can attack Israel
- 0:44Speaker 3: on a daily basis. Many aspects of the UN are
- 0:47Speaker 3: simply a joke, things like the Human Rights Council being
- 0:50Speaker 3: populated by nations like Cuba, like Libya, like Syria. Some
- 0:54Speaker 3: of the very worst violators of human rights in the
- 0:57Speaker 3: world populate the Human Rights Council. The UN also routinely
- 1:04Speaker 3: launches investigations of Israel, attacking Israel, delegitimizing Israel, undermining Israel.
- 1:10Speaker 3: All that being said, the behavior of the Secretary General
- 1:15Speaker 3: this week was shameful, even by the standards of the
- 1:20Speaker 3: United Nations. Give a listen to what he had to.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Say on the situation on the ground. Excellencies, The situation
- 1:30Speaker 4: in the Middle East is growing.
- 1:32Speaker 5: More dire by the hour.
- 1:35Speaker 4: The war in Gaza is raging and risks spirallying throughout
- 1:39Speaker 4: the region. Divisions are splintering, society's tensions threaten to boil over.
- 1:48Speaker 5: At a crucial moment like.
- 1:49Speaker 4: This, it is vital to be clear on principles, starting
- 1:54Speaker 4: with a fundamental principle of respecting and protecting civilians. I
- 2:00Speaker 4: have condemned an equivocally the oririfying and unprecedented seven October
- 2:05Speaker 4: acts of terror by Hamas in Israel. Nothing can justify
- 2:10Speaker 4: the deliberate killing, injuring, and kidnapping of civilians, or the
- 2:14Speaker 4: launching of rockets against civilian targets. All ostages must be
- 2:20Speaker 4: treated humanly and released immediately and without conditions. And I
- 2:24Speaker 4: respectfully know the presence among us of members of their families. Excellencies,
- 2:32Speaker 4: it is important to also recognize the attacks by Amas
- 2:35Speaker 4: did not happen.
- 2:36Speaker 5: In a vacuum.
- 2:38Speaker 4: The Palestinian people have been subjected to fifty six years
- 2:42Speaker 4: of suffocating occupation. They have seen their land steadily devoorred
- 2:47Speaker 4: by settlements and plagued by violence. Their economy is stifled,
- 2:53Speaker 4: their people displaced and their homes demolished. Their hopes for
- 2:57Speaker 4: a political solution to their plight have been vanishing. But
- 3:02Speaker 4: believances of the Palestinian people cannot justify the appalling attacks
- 3:06Speaker 4: by Amas, and those appalling attacks cannot justify the collective
- 3:11Speaker 4: punishment of the Palestinian people.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Wow. In other words, we stand with Israel.
- 3:17Speaker 2: But let's tell you every reason why we actually stand
- 3:20Speaker 2: with the Palestinians and Hamas. And now we'll start telling
- 3:24Speaker 2: Israel what they can and cannot do to protect themselves.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Well, that was utterly disgraceful and dishonest, and in a moment,
- 3:30Speaker 3: I want to go through it literally, sentenced by sentence,
- 3:32Speaker 3: but I want to first talk about who it is
- 3:34Speaker 3: that's speaking. So this is Antonio Manuel de Olivera Guterres.
- 3:39Speaker 3: He's from Portugal. He was previously the Prime Minister of Portugal,
- 3:44Speaker 3: and he was the Prime Minister of Portugal from nineteen
- 3:46Speaker 3: ninety five to two thousand and two. Now, what did
- 3:51Speaker 3: he do? What did he also do? He was also
- 3:55Speaker 3: the president of the Socialist International. So you need to
- 3:58Speaker 3: understand this is the left. The far left hates Israel
- 4:03Speaker 3: and the far left embraces anti Semitism. He was pre
- 4:08Speaker 3: before that, he was Secretary General of the Socialist Party,
- 4:10Speaker 3: but he was president of the Socialist International, the Global
- 4:13Speaker 3: Socialist International. So this is one of the leading socialists
- 4:17Speaker 3: in the world, a man of the left, revered by leftists.
- 4:21Speaker 3: This is who they admire. And I want to go
- 4:24Speaker 3: through Ben. I want to play what he's saying again,
- 4:26Speaker 3: and I want to stop it a couple of times
- 4:28Speaker 3: and just comment on it, sentence by sentence. So play
- 4:31Speaker 3: it again from the beginning.
- 4:33Speaker 4: The situation in the Middle East is growing more dire
- 4:37Speaker 4: by the hour. The war in Gaza is raging and
- 4:41Speaker 4: risk spiral link throughout the region. Divisions are splintering, society's
- 4:48Speaker 4: tensions threatened.
- 4:49Speaker 5: To boil over.
- 4:51Speaker 4: At a crucial moment like this, it is vital to
- 4:55Speaker 4: be clear on principles, starting with the fundamental principle of
- 5:00Speaker 4: respecting and protecting civilians.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Let's just stop there. He says, it's spiraling out of control. Center.
- 5:08Speaker 2: It spiraled out the control the moment that Hamas parachuted
- 5:12Speaker 2: in and started taking hostages and killing people. I mean,
- 5:15Speaker 2: you had journalists that gathered in Israel to watch the
- 5:19Speaker 2: videos that were taken from the Hamas terraces. They were
- 5:22Speaker 2: wearing the equivalent of body cameras, go pro cameras, and
- 5:25Speaker 2: they watched the atrocis in Israel. And this guy says
- 5:28Speaker 2: it could spiral out of control. We've already passed that point.
- 5:32Speaker 2: They spiraled it out of control from square one.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. And this statement is all about
- 5:39Speaker 3: drawing a moral equivalence between Hamas and Israel. They're both
- 5:42Speaker 3: bad actors, they're both to be condemned, they're both to
- 5:45Speaker 3: be criticized when they're not remotely comparable. Keep playing, because
- 5:48Speaker 3: I want you want you to listen to his words
- 5:50Speaker 3: and what exactly he says.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I have condemned an equivocally the modifying and unprecedented seven
- 5:57Speaker 4: October acts of terror.
- 5:59Speaker 5: By Hamas in Israel.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Nothing can justify the deliberate killing, injuring, and kidnapping of civilians,
- 6:07Speaker 4: or the launching of rockets against civilian targets.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Stop.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So I want you to look there, Okay, So there
- 6:14Speaker 3: he does the obligatory. I can condemn what Hamas did.
- 6:17Speaker 3: I mean that he has to say. Now, notice he says,
- 6:20Speaker 3: I condemn it on equivocally. Nothing can justify it. And
- 6:23Speaker 3: he says the targeting of civilians or the launching of rockets,
- 6:26Speaker 3: he doesn't specify the magnitude. Is the Holocaust different from
- 6:33Speaker 3: somebody being murdered on the streets. What happened on October
- 6:37Speaker 3: seventh is Hamas went in house to house murdering civilians,
- 6:41Speaker 3: targeting civilians. They have killed now over one thousand, four
- 6:45Speaker 3: hundred Israelis. They murdered elderly people, They murdered little children.
- 6:50Speaker 3: They violently raped. Noticed he didn't use that word rape.
- 6:53Speaker 3: They violently raped women, They violently raped little girls. Did
- 6:56Speaker 3: he condemn the raping of little girls? No, didn't mention
- 6:58Speaker 3: it at all. It just says, well, the targeting of
- 7:00Speaker 3: civilians or firing rockets that I condemn. He has no
- 7:03Speaker 3: acknowledgment that they are beheading and burning alive infants. The
- 7:08Speaker 3: scope of it, the depravity of it, is grotesque, and
- 7:14Speaker 3: this enlightened socialist leftist jackass cannot bring himself to condemn
- 7:21Speaker 3: it beyond I have spoken unequivocally and a condemn it.
- 7:26Speaker 3: But let me get on to what I really want
- 7:28Speaker 3: to say, which is I hate Israel.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Continue.
- 7:31Speaker 4: All ostages must be treated you mainly and released immediately
- 7:34Speaker 4: and without conditions. And I respectful for we know the
- 7:38Speaker 4: presence among us of members of their families.
- 7:41Speaker 6: Well that's very kind, excellencies.
- 7:44Speaker 4: It is important to also recognize the attacks by Amas
- 7:48Speaker 4: did not happen in a vacuum.
- 7:50Speaker 5: The Palestinian people.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Have been subjected to fifty six years of suffocating occupation.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Stop so vacuum guy, you're lying. Gaza is not subject
- 8:01Speaker 3: to occupations, suffocating or otherwise. Israel left Gaza. Israel gave
- 8:07Speaker 3: the Palestinians Gaza. Not They didn't just give Gaza to
- 8:10Speaker 3: the Palestinians, they handed it over. They said, you want
- 8:13Speaker 3: to be in charge, you can have your own state.
- 8:15Speaker 3: You're in charge of it, you run it. And they
- 8:17Speaker 3: had millions and millions of dollars flow into it. All
- 8:21Speaker 3: Israel did is put up a wall and say, look,
- 8:23Speaker 3: you lunatics, don't come kill us, but you're in charge.
- 8:27Speaker 3: The only people occupying Gaza is Hamas. Israel is not
- 8:32Speaker 3: in Gaza, although they are going into Gaza now to
- 8:35Speaker 3: kill the Hamas terrorists. But that statement, what he means
- 8:38Speaker 3: by suffocating occupation is the fact that Israel exists.
- 8:43Speaker 6: That's what he means.
- 8:44Speaker 3: When anti Semites talk about this, that's what they mean
- 8:48Speaker 3: is as long as there is one square inch of Israel,
- 8:51Speaker 3: it is, in his world view, a suffocating occupation. It's
- 8:55Speaker 3: why when the rabbit anti Israel real activist chant from
- 9:02Speaker 3: the river to the sea, they mean from the Jordan
- 9:04Speaker 3: River all the way to the sea. They mean obliterating
- 9:06Speaker 3: all of Israel. That's what he calls a suffocating occupation.
- 9:09Speaker 3: But that is not Gaza. If it's occupied by anyone,
- 9:13Speaker 3: it's occupied by Hamas, which is Palestinian. The Israel is
- 9:16Speaker 3: not in Gaza. Keep playing.
- 9:19Speaker 4: They have seen that land steadily devolved by settlements and
- 9:22Speaker 4: plagued by violence. Their economy is stifled, that people displaced
- 9:28Speaker 4: and their homes demolished.
- 9:29Speaker 6: Stop.
- 9:31Speaker 3: So we've talked before on this podcast about one of
- 9:35Speaker 3: the classic tools that demagogues and liars use is use
- 9:40Speaker 3: of the passive voice. Now what is the passive voice?
- 9:43Speaker 3: For those of y'all who weren't paying close attention in
- 9:47Speaker 3: high school grammar, the active voice is when there is
- 9:49Speaker 3: an actor who is acting on the verb. Ben hit
- 9:54Speaker 3: the tennis ball. That's the active voice. Ben is the actor.
- 9:57Speaker 3: He is hitting the tennis ball. Massive voice is the
- 10:01Speaker 3: ball was hit. The passive voice is deliberately used to
- 10:07Speaker 3: hide the actor. So the Nixon White House famously says
- 10:13Speaker 3: this said crimes were committed, not who committed the crimes.
- 10:16Speaker 3: It is a way you obscure the actors. So when
- 10:19Speaker 3: they say their economy was stifled, and I'm pretty sure
- 10:23Speaker 3: he doesn't mean stiffler from American pie, he means stifled.
- 10:27Speaker 3: He doesn't acknowledge who has stifled the gas economy, which
- 10:32Speaker 3: is Hamas that takes millions of dollars that flow in
- 10:35Speaker 3: there to build hospitals, to build schools, to build water pipes.
- 10:38Speaker 3: And what do they do. They take it all, They
- 10:40Speaker 3: loot it all, and they take the water pipes and
- 10:42Speaker 3: they turn them into rockets to attack Israelis because the
- 10:44Speaker 3: only thing these lunatics want to do is murder Jews,
- 10:47Speaker 3: because they are filled with genocidal hatred and the misery
- 10:54Speaker 3: of the Palestinian people. Look, I agree that many of
- 10:57Speaker 3: the Palestinian people are utterly miserable because Hamas terrorists use
- 11:02Speaker 3: them as human shields, and they don't build schools, they
- 11:04Speaker 3: don't build hospitals, they don't care about Palestinian babies. They
- 11:09Speaker 3: hate Jews more than they care about the Palestinian people.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Keep playing that hopes for a political solution to their
- 11:16Speaker 4: applied have been vanishing. But alievances of the Palestinian people
- 11:22Speaker 4: cannot justify the appalling attacks by Amas, and those appalling
- 11:26Speaker 4: attacks cannot justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Wow, he claims that the oppression of the Palestinian people
- 11:38Speaker 3: cannot justify the appalling attacks of Hamas. But that is,
- 11:41Speaker 3: of course what his entire speech is doing, is trying
- 11:43Speaker 3: to justify the horrific, inhumane, grotesque terror attacks of Hamas.
- 11:51Speaker 3: And then when he says says at the end that
- 11:56Speaker 3: they should not justify the punishment of the Palacetian people.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Understand this because the media, the corporate media, CNN, ABCNBC,
- 12:05Speaker 3: they will lie to you. They will not tell you this.
- 12:07Speaker 3: They will do what that dishonest demagogue did. They will
- 12:11Speaker 3: suggest that it is Israel that wants Palestinian civilians to
- 12:14Speaker 3: suffer or die. That is a flat out lie. Israel
- 12:18Speaker 3: goes to greater lengths than any military on the face
- 12:20Speaker 3: of the planet, including Portugal's. This guy's the former Prime
- 12:22Speaker 3: Minister of Portugal. Portuguese military doesn't go to those lengths
- 12:27Speaker 3: to avoid civilian casualties, including texting civilians, including dropping leaflets
- 12:32Speaker 3: from the skies, including dropping dud bombs to let people
- 12:35Speaker 3: know where they're going, including trying to evacuate civilians. That
- 12:39Speaker 3: Israeli military does everything humanly possible to minimize civilian deaths.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Why are their civilian deaths because Hamas wants them. Hamas
- 12:48Speaker 3: wants Palestinians to die. Hamas deliberately puts its headquarters in
- 12:53Speaker 3: the basement of hospitals. It puts missiles in the basements
- 12:56Speaker 3: of kindergartens because it wants dead Palestinian kindergarten and children,
- 13:01Speaker 3: so that idiots like this can then use those dead
- 13:06Speaker 3: human shields as a club to attack and demonize Israel.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I want to tell you real quick about our friends

- 13:18Speaker 2: wanted to buy gold for years, there's lots of commercials

- 14:44Speaker 2: Precious Medals dot com center. There's now calls and we
- 14:49Speaker 2: mentioned this earlier from Israel for this un you know,
- 14:54Speaker 2: Secretary General to resign. Do you think other countries will
- 14:59Speaker 2: come along along beside Israel? And what role should the
- 15:02Speaker 2: president have when it comes to calling on this UN
- 15:05Speaker 2: chief to resign.
- 15:06Speaker 6: Well, here's what Israel has said.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Israel's UN envoy Gelad er Don called the Secretary General's
- 15:13Speaker 3: comments shocking, and he demanded that he resigned. Foreign Minister
- 15:17Speaker 3: Eli Cohen canceled a meeting with Guteris and Minister Benny Gantz,
- 15:22Speaker 3: who actually in the political world of Israel is considered
- 15:25Speaker 3: more man of the left, labeled the UN chief a
- 15:29Speaker 3: terror apologist. Here is a quote from Ambassador or Don.
- 15:37Speaker 3: The UN Secretary of General, who shows understanding for the
- 15:40Speaker 3: campaign of mass murder of children, women and the elderly,
- 15:44Speaker 3: is not fit to lead the UN. I call on
- 15:46Speaker 3: him to resign immediately. There is no justification or point
- 15:50Speaker 3: in talking to those who show compassion for the most
- 15:52Speaker 3: terrible atrocities committed against the citizens of Israel and the
- 15:56Speaker 3: Jewish people. There are simply no words. He went on
- 16:01Speaker 3: to say, the remarks were quote horrible and completely disconnected
- 16:05Speaker 3: from the reality of our region. It is sad that
- 16:08Speaker 3: a person with such views is the head of an
- 16:11Speaker 3: organization that arose after the Holocaust. It's really unfathomable. Now
- 16:17Speaker 3: you asked, is the United States going to echo that?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Is Joe Biden going to echo the call for the
- 16:24Speaker 3: UN Secretary General to resign. I'm willing to put the
- 16:26Speaker 3: odds of that at zero point zero percent. There is
- 16:29Speaker 3: no chance Joe Biden will call on the UN Secretary
- 16:31Speaker 3: General to resign because those sentiments are the sentiments that
- 16:36Speaker 3: are held by senior members of his administration, including by
- 16:41Speaker 3: the way, John Carey, who's right now the climates are,
- 16:44Speaker 3: but he was the Secretary of State under Barack Obama.
- 16:47Speaker 3: When John Kerry was Secretary of State, he referred to
- 16:49Speaker 3: Israel as an apartheid state. That is an utter lie.
- 16:53Speaker 3: It is completely false. When John Kerrey did so, I
- 16:56Speaker 3: went to the Senate floor and called on John Kerrey
- 16:59Speaker 3: to resign as secret teria State. And I said at
- 17:01Speaker 3: the time, I said, for the US Secretary of State
- 17:04Speaker 3: to repeat these blood libels, his words will be used
- 17:09Speaker 3: by the enemies of Israel. That will be used by
- 17:11Speaker 3: Hamas and Hesbela and Iran and those that seek the
- 17:14Speaker 3: destruction of Israel. And so unfortunately, under Joe Biden, I
- 17:19Speaker 3: think there's no chance they're going to call on him
- 17:21Speaker 3: to resign because many of them agree with him.
- 17:26Speaker 2: It is so shocking that we are at a point
- 17:28Speaker 2: now where we have an administration that can't just be
- 17:31Speaker 2: outraged over basic issues of right and wrong.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And this, to me is an issue of right and wrong.
- 17:37Speaker 2: So for Verdict listeners right now that say, hey, I
- 17:39Speaker 2: want to stand up for Israel, should they be calling
- 17:42Speaker 2: their congressmen and their senators and telling them that they
- 17:45Speaker 2: should be putting pressure on this administration on this un issue.
- 17:50Speaker 3: What you should be doing is speaking out for Israel,
- 17:53Speaker 3: using your voice to make clear that what Hamas did
- 17:58Speaker 3: was a grotesque war crime.
- 18:03Speaker 6: It was horrific.
- 18:04Speaker 3: It was inhumanity of the kind and nature that the
- 18:10Speaker 3: Nazis carried out in the Holocaust. It was targeting innocent
- 18:14Speaker 3: women and children because they are Jews. And Israel is
- 18:21Speaker 3: justified in defending itself and in utterly destroying Hamas. And
- 18:26Speaker 3: so look, I think we should be holding American politicians
- 18:31Speaker 3: to account when they undermine Israel, as the Biden administration
- 18:34Speaker 3: does repeatedly, as the Squad does repeatedly, as radicals in
- 18:38Speaker 3: our college, university colleges and universities do repeatedly, and as
- 18:42Speaker 3: the un is doing, and so I think adding your
- 18:45Speaker 3: voice is important, and I think one of the most
- 18:49Speaker 3: important ways to do that is sharing this podcast. I mean,
- 18:53Speaker 3: the information we cover in this podcast you don't get.
- 18:58Speaker 3: You can watch CNN every minute, twenty four hours a day,
- 19:01Speaker 3: although God help you if you did, I would not
- 19:03Speaker 3: wish that on my worst enemy. Yeah, and you have
- 19:08Speaker 3: spent hours ben on CNN. You know exactly the circle
- 19:11Speaker 3: of Hell we're talking about with that.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yes, seven I did seven years in hell.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Literally, that's what I tell people about my time there
- 19:16Speaker 2: as a conservative trying to fight the battle.
- 19:18Speaker 3: But they don't cover news. They won't tell you about
- 19:21Speaker 3: any of this. It's simply not. They are now political propaganda.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Fox News will cover this, but Fox News you get
- 19:28Speaker 3: a snippet here and there, you get a couple of
- 19:30Speaker 3: minutes of it, but you don't get the level of
- 19:33Speaker 3: in depth analysis of the facts that we try to
- 19:36Speaker 3: provide in this podcast. And the reason, look, you and
- 19:41Speaker 3: I are sitting here. It is eleven twelve pm. We
- 19:44Speaker 3: typically record these podcasts at ten o'clock at night or
- 19:47Speaker 3: eleven o'clock at night or midnight because both of us
- 19:50Speaker 3: have full time day jobs, but I think it is
- 19:53Speaker 3: important to get this information out and so sharing this
- 19:57Speaker 3: podcast and making the case that when when we see
- 20:00Speaker 3: civilian casualties, which we will, making sure people understand this
- 20:04Speaker 3: is because Hamas wants Palestinian civilians to die. They're counting
- 20:08Speaker 3: on Democrats in the media to use this to attack Israel.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You know, there's also something else that's happening, and that's
- 20:15Speaker 2: going to happen on Wednesday, and it is interesting the timing.
- 20:21Speaker 2: You have a man that has been nominated to become
- 20:24Speaker 2: the ambassador to Israel from the US. I had the
- 20:28Speaker 2: privilege of watching you question him, and I want to
- 20:32Speaker 2: play part of that because we're now. I mean, if
- 20:35Speaker 2: there's any time to have a strong, staunch ambassador, a
- 20:39Speaker 2: man that's willing to stand side by side with Israel,
- 20:42Speaker 2: this would be the time for the Biden administration to
- 20:44Speaker 2: do that. And yet there are a lot of problems
- 20:47Speaker 2: with this individual. And I want people to hear what
- 20:50Speaker 2: you had to say to them back and forth a
- 20:52Speaker 2: little bit.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 20:54Speaker 3: You played a pivotal role in flooding over one hundred
- 20:58Speaker 3: billion dollars to the Iranian regime. The Biden administration has
- 21:04Speaker 3: continued that policy, flooding nearly an additional one hundred billion
- 21:09Speaker 3: dollars to the Iranian regime. That policy of appeasement, sending
- 21:14Speaker 3: hundreds of billions of dollars to a theocratic, homicidal, genocidal
- 21:19Speaker 3: maniac who leads chance of death to America and death
- 21:23Speaker 3: to Israel, has proven catastrophic.
- 21:27Speaker 6: The death squads.
- 21:30Speaker 3: In Israel from Hamas are funded in real and meaningful
- 21:35Speaker 3: ways by the billions of dollars the Obama administration and
- 21:39Speaker 3: now the Biden administration has flowed directly to Iran that
- 21:45Speaker 3: has proven disastrous.
- 21:48Speaker 6: We also have drones.
- 21:53Speaker 3: As you know today, the arms embargo on Iran expires
- 21:59Speaker 3: to day, ironically, the day of your hearing. You were
- 22:03Speaker 3: pivotal in advocating for UN Resolution two two three one,
- 22:09Speaker 3: the Iran Deal, which is why the Arms of Bargo
- 22:13Speaker 3: is expiring today. On October seventh, Hamas used swarms of
- 22:18Speaker 3: sophisticated drones in their October seventh attack. Do you believe
- 22:23Speaker 3: the world is safer today because of two three three
- 22:28Speaker 3: two two three one and the expiration of the arms
- 22:32Speaker 3: in Bargo, allowing Iran now to sell inner ballistic missiles
- 22:38Speaker 3: and long range drones.
- 22:39Speaker 7: Senator, I think you would have to agree that the
- 22:43Speaker 7: history of the US engagement on JCPOA has changed substantially
- 22:47Speaker 7: since I sat.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Do you think the world is better and safer with
- 22:51Speaker 3: the arms of Bargo expire.
- 22:53Speaker 8: Its Senator, if the US was not.
- 22:56Speaker 6: Yes or no? Are we safer today with no arms
- 22:58Speaker 6: in Bargo?
- 23:00Speaker 7: I think it's a much more complicated than that, because
- 23:02Speaker 7: we're not part of JCPOA. Therefore there was no extension
- 23:05Speaker 7: of the arms embargo. I would have advocated for an
- 23:08Speaker 7: extension of the arms embargo, and we might well have.
- 23:11Speaker 3: And by the way, the Biden administration has been in
- 23:13Speaker 3: power two and a half years. The ARSTA bargo is
- 23:16Speaker 3: expiring today. And you were pivotal in that happened. Let's
- 23:20Speaker 3: look if you look at just that exchange right there.
- 23:23Speaker 3: So jacklu was the Treasury Secretary under Barack Obama. Before that,
- 23:28Speaker 3: he was chief of Staff under Barack Obama, and he
- 23:31Speaker 3: played a central role in the Obama Iran nuclear deal.
- 23:36Speaker 3: The Obama Iran nuclear deal was spectacularly foolish. It resulted
- 23:39Speaker 3: in over one hundred billion dollars going to Iran and
- 23:43Speaker 3: just flooding that economy.
- 23:44Speaker 6: With cash.
- 23:44Speaker 3: By the way, Iran is the world's leading state sponsor
- 23:47Speaker 3: of terrorism, and that money that jacklu sent to Iran,
- 23:51Speaker 3: and the money that in the past two and a
- 23:53Speaker 3: half years the Biden administration is sent to Iran in
- 23:56Speaker 3: a very real sense funded these Hamas death squads and
- 23:59Speaker 3: the terror attacks on Israel. But his response is, well, gosh,
- 24:04Speaker 3: we're out of the Iran deal now, so it's not
- 24:06Speaker 3: my fault. Well, as I pointed out there, Joe Biden's
- 24:09Speaker 3: been in office two and a half years. He's tried
- 24:11Speaker 3: desperately to give Iran everything it wanted. He's given them
- 24:14Speaker 3: another one hundred billion dollars just about. And nonetheless, under
- 24:20Speaker 3: Jack Blue's leadership, there is no longer An arms in Bargo,
- 24:24Speaker 3: and that was because Lou led the fight to eliminate
- 24:28Speaker 3: the arms in Bargo. And we can see those drones
- 24:32Speaker 3: attacking and those rockets raining down on Israel.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile for ten years has been America's only Christian
- 24:40Speaker 2: conservative wireless provider. And when I say only trust me,
- 24:44Speaker 2: they are literally the only one. The team at Patriots
- 24:47Speaker 2: Mobile are incredible because they are an American based company
- 24:50Speaker 2: with an American based call center that helps proud Americans
- 24:55Speaker 2: just like you that are conservatives and Christian know that
- 24:57Speaker 2: when they pay their bill every month, you're actually making
- 25:00Speaker 2: a difference and standing up for what you believe in.
- 25:03Speaker 2: So stop sending your money to woke companies that are
- 25:06Speaker 2: fighting against your values. You may not realize that the
- 25:08Speaker 2: Big Mobile they have been giving millions to liberal Democrats
- 25:13Speaker 2: and to places like Planned Parenthood. Well, Patriot Mobile has
- 25:18Speaker 2: decided to do something else. And I love this about
- 25:20Speaker 2: them as a company. For every Verdict listener that switches
- 25:24Speaker 2: your cell phone provider to Patriot Mobile, they are going
- 25:27Speaker 2: to make an initial donation to a organization that helps
- 25:32Speaker 2: protect the lives of unborn children.
- 25:35Speaker 1: It is pretty awesome.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And then every month when you pay your bill, they
- 25:39Speaker 2: take a portion of your bill at no extra cost
- 25:41Speaker 2: to you, and they give it back to hardcore conservative
- 25:44Speaker 2: Christian organizations. They stand up for freedom of speech, religious freedom,
- 25:48Speaker 2: the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, as well as
- 25:50Speaker 2: our military, our veterans and first responder heroes. So you're
- 25:54Speaker 2: going to have a bill every month for a cell phone,
- 25:56Speaker 2: why not put it with a company that fights for
- 25:58Speaker 2: what you believe in. One hundred percent US based customer
- 26:01Speaker 2: service team is there to help make switching easy. You
- 26:05Speaker 2: can keep your same cell phone number you have now
- 26:07Speaker 2: keep your same phone, or upgrade to a new one.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Call Patriot Mobile nine seven to two Patriot. That's nine
- 26:14Speaker 2: to seven to two Patriot. Use the promo code Verdict.
- 26:17Speaker 2: You'll get free activation and the best deals of the
- 26:20Speaker 2: year nine seven to two Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com Center.
- 26:25Speaker 2: You weren't done with this nominee for to become the
- 26:28Speaker 2: ambassador from the US to Israel. You also brought up
- 26:31Speaker 2: another point, and I want people to hear what you
- 26:33Speaker 2: said during this confirmation shift.
- 26:35Speaker 3: To another thing is because the Biden administration didn't just
- 26:38Speaker 3: send money to Iran in massive numbers. It is also
- 26:43Speaker 3: sent money to Gaza that went to Hamas. And at
- 26:47Speaker 3: the time I led a coalition of senators urging the
- 26:50Speaker 3: Biden administration do not send money to Gaza because it
- 26:53Speaker 3: is controlled by Hamas, it will be used by Hamas
- 26:55Speaker 3: for acts of terrorism. We now know that the Biden
- 26:59Speaker 3: administration reach the following determination and I quote due to
- 27:03Speaker 3: its overall strength and level of control over Gaza, we
- 27:05Speaker 3: assess that there is a high risk Hamas could potentially
- 27:10Speaker 3: derive indirect on intentional benefit from US assistance to Gaza
- 27:14Speaker 3: high risk. Now's Treasury Secretary, You're familiar with these determinations.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Under ordinary anti terrorism laws, you can't send money whether
- 27:22Speaker 3: it's a high risk it'll be used for terrorism. But
- 27:24Speaker 3: what did the Biden administration do? It waved or anti
- 27:27Speaker 3: terrorism law because their political agenda was so important, they
- 27:31Speaker 3: were willing to take that high risk. Was it a
- 27:33Speaker 3: mistake to send hundreds of millions of dollars to Gaza that,
- 27:36Speaker 3: in a very real and practical way funded the death
- 27:39Speaker 3: squads and funded the rockets that are being used to
- 27:41Speaker 3: murder Israelis Center, I was not in government at the
- 27:44Speaker 3: time these assisitions were made.
- 27:45Speaker 8: It was I misstakeing.
- 27:46Speaker 7: I'm not familiar with the back and forth that you're
- 27:48Speaker 7: referring to, but my understanding is the funding that went
- 27:51Speaker 7: to Gaza was for things like the hospital and humanitarians.
- 27:56Speaker 3: So was OFAK wrong when it concluded there's a high
- 27:58Speaker 3: risk that Hamasca to derive benefit Center.
- 28:00Speaker 8: I would have to look at the document to.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Have hire you were one of a few people that has
- 28:04Speaker 3: the expertise to do this.
- 28:05Speaker 7: I have high regard for Ophac. I just am not
- 28:08Speaker 7: familiar with the doctors.
- 28:09Speaker 3: So is the world safer or less safe because hundreds
- 28:13Speaker 3: of millions of dollars were sent to Gaza when it's
- 28:15Speaker 3: controlled by AMAS Center.
- 28:18Speaker 7: Hamasa's activities have proven how evil they are and how
- 28:22Speaker 7: important it is.
- 28:24Speaker 3: You're not answering that question. Let me ask this question.
- 28:27Speaker 7: But I will say that the Treasury has repeatedly undermined Israel.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Stop stop for a second, Stop for a second. All right,
- 28:37Speaker 3: let's just take that exchange right there. So, so I
- 28:41Speaker 3: referenced something called OPHAC.
- 28:42Speaker 6: What is o fact?
- 28:43Speaker 3: O FAC is the Office of Foreign Assets Control o
- 28:46Speaker 3: PHAC is part of the Treasury Department. So OPAC reports
- 28:50Speaker 3: to the Treasury Secretary. Jacklue knows exactly what OPACT does.
- 28:53Speaker 3: O fact all the time makes determinations about whether money
- 28:57Speaker 3: is likely to support terrorism. If it is, you can't
- 29:00Speaker 3: send the money. That's ophec's job. So notice Jack louse defense.
- 29:03Speaker 3: He says, well, I don't know. I'm not part of
- 29:05Speaker 3: the administration. Mind you. He's been nominated by Joe Biden
- 29:09Speaker 3: to serve as the United States ambassador to Israel. But
- 29:12Speaker 3: his defense is ignorance. He's not going to defend the
- 29:16Speaker 3: sending money to Gaza, even though o fact, the office
- 29:19Speaker 3: that used to report to him concluded there was a
- 29:21Speaker 3: high likely it would go to Hamas and go to
- 29:22Speaker 3: terrorism instead. He says, well, I don't know. I don't
- 29:25Speaker 3: know anything. You know, I'm just some guy sitting here.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Don't ask me to know anything about it. And then
- 29:30Speaker 3: he also puts out the rather amusing talking point, Well,
- 29:34Speaker 3: the money was supposed to go to hospitals, no kidding, Yeah, yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 3: you hundreds hundreds of millions that has flooded into Gaza
- 29:44Speaker 3: was supposed to go to hospitals. Remember the goose stepping
- 29:48Speaker 3: Secretary General of the UN where he says talks about
- 29:52Speaker 3: the poverty in Gaza. Well, the reason they're so poor
- 29:55Speaker 3: is they take all the money that's supposed to go
- 29:57Speaker 3: to hospitals and they send it to Hamas to kill
- 29:59Speaker 3: Jews instead, because that's the only thing they care about
- 30:02Speaker 3: as murdering as many Jews as possible. And jacklu should
- 30:06Speaker 3: know that. But but all right, the questioning goes on
- 30:09Speaker 3: because next I ask him about the Biden administration systematically
- 30:13Speaker 3: undermining Israel.
- 30:14Speaker 6: And I'm gonna.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Foreshadow slightly if you thought he didn't know anything about
- 30:19Speaker 3: or he claimed he didn't know anything about Biden's policy
- 30:22Speaker 3: towards towards Gaza. He's going to claim he knows even
- 30:25Speaker 3: less about Biden's policy towards Israel. Within hours of the
- 30:28Speaker 3: attack commencing, the State Department sent out a tweet from
- 30:32Speaker 3: the Office of Palestinian Affairs, an office that would report
- 30:35Speaker 3: to you if you're confirmed, that said, we unequivocally condemned
- 30:38Speaker 3: the attack of Amas terrorist and the loss of life
- 30:40Speaker 3: that has incurred. We urge all sides to refrain from
- 30:44Speaker 3: violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing. Do
- 30:48Speaker 3: you agree with this tweet that was sent by the
- 30:49Speaker 3: Biden State Department.
- 30:51Speaker 8: Center, I would have to read it. I'm not familiar
- 30:56Speaker 8: with it.
- 30:56Speaker 6: You're not familiar with it.
- 30:57Speaker 8: I want, I want, I wanted to go back to
- 30:59Speaker 8: the last point.
- 31:00Speaker 6: Hold on a second. You're not familiar with this tweet.
- 31:03Speaker 3: They sent it out at three in the morning, while
- 31:05Speaker 3: the attacks were unfolding. I blasted it at three in
- 31:07Speaker 3: the morning, and they deleted it within the hour because
- 31:10Speaker 3: it was shameful. They were telling telling Israel, do not
- 31:14Speaker 3: respond while your citizens are being murdered.
- 31:16Speaker 7: And by the way, the President of the United States
- 31:19Speaker 7: has stated clearly the policy of the United States.
- 31:22Speaker 8: I agree, I agree.
- 31:23Speaker 3: With Sue, I understand, But at the same time, this
- 31:26Speaker 3: administration repeatedly walks back what he says. So here's another
- 31:30Speaker 3: tweet sent from the State Department, Turkish Foreign Minister and
- 31:33Speaker 3: I spoke. This is from Secretary Blincoln spoke further on
- 31:37Speaker 3: Hamas's terrorist attack on Israel. I encouraged Turkey's advocacy for
- 31:41Speaker 3: a cease fire and the release of all hostages held
- 31:44Speaker 3: by Hamas immediately.
- 31:45Speaker 6: Do you agree with this tweet from.
- 31:48Speaker 3: The Secretary of State calling for a cease fire immediately
- 31:51Speaker 3: after this attack began.
- 31:53Speaker 7: I think the President and the Secretary of State have
- 31:55Speaker 7: made clear that Israel has a right and a receive.
- 31:58Speaker 6: You agree with this tweet from the State.
- 32:00Speaker 8: Senator, I can't respond to tweets that you're reading to me.
- 32:04Speaker 6: Why are you not familiar with it?
- 32:05Speaker 3: I'm telling you, they haven't followed what the administration has
- 32:07Speaker 3: said on this. By the way, they deleted this tweet
- 32:09Speaker 3: as well. Day after day after day, this administration is
- 32:14Speaker 3: systematically undermined Israel. And finally you advocated for you a
- 32:18Speaker 3: wold those shop. All right, let's take that back and forth.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Notice his entire defense is I don't know a damn thing.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I have no idea now, mind you. So Jacklu was
- 32:28Speaker 3: nominated months ago, his nomination hadn't gone anywhere. Why hadn't
- 32:33Speaker 3: gone anywhere? In fact, there were some Democrats who were
- 32:35Speaker 3: attacking me saying Cruz is holding this nomination. That was
- 32:40Speaker 3: in fact not true, because you cannot hold a nomination
- 32:44Speaker 3: until it is cleared committee and is headed to the floor.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Until it has made it out of committee. No senator
- 32:49Speaker 3: can hold any nomination because there's no there's no ability
- 32:53Speaker 3: in the Senate to do that. So the reason Jacklu
- 32:56Speaker 3: had not proceeded until last week is because the Democrats
- 32:59Speaker 3: who controlled the heres hadn't scheduled a hearing for him,
- 33:01Speaker 3: and they just allow his nomination to sit there for
- 33:03Speaker 3: a week after week after week after week. Now, once
- 33:05Speaker 3: this attack happened, suddenly the Democrat talking point went out,
- 33:09Speaker 3: and it went out from the White House, it went
- 33:11Speaker 3: out from the Democrats in the Senate and the House.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Everyone was echoing, we must confirm Jacklu now, now, now, now,
- 33:17Speaker 3: now why, because Israel's in crisis that we need our
- 33:19Speaker 3: ambassador there. And so they rushed the hearing the last
- 33:22Speaker 3: week and today we're going to vote in the Senate
- 33:25Speaker 3: Formulations Committee. I assume every Democrat is going to vote
- 33:28Speaker 3: to confirm jacklu and they're saying we must do it
- 33:31Speaker 3: because of the war at Israel. Now notice his defense.
- 33:34Speaker 3: There's a war at Israel, and he's saying, well, I
- 33:36Speaker 3: don't know what's happening. I don't know what the State
- 33:38Speaker 3: Department said, I don't know what the State Department said
- 33:40Speaker 3: the day the attack happened. I don't know what the
- 33:42Speaker 3: Secretary of State that said the day after the attack happened.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Both of those tweets were deleted because they were disgraced
- 33:48Speaker 3: when they were deleted after I called them out. And
- 33:51Speaker 3: his defense, it's it's just the I know nothing defense,
- 33:56Speaker 3: And there's a reason he has to give that defense,
- 33:59Speaker 3: because the altern is to actually defend it, and.
- 34:02Speaker 6: Even the Biden administration won't defend it.
- 34:04Speaker 3: They deleted the tweets and realize, oh crap, we can't
- 34:07Speaker 3: say this out loud, and so instead he's reduced to
- 34:11Speaker 3: just dissembling.
- 34:14Speaker 2: And it seems to work for them because it's like
- 34:17Speaker 2: they say, we'll get away with it, because surely no
- 34:20Speaker 2: one's really going to try to stop us now that
- 34:23Speaker 2: we desperately need this nominee.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Is that part of the game plan here?
- 34:27Speaker 2: Just hey, act like you're an idiot, so you get
- 34:29Speaker 2: the nomination done with, and then you can do what
- 34:32Speaker 2: you really know and we know you're going to do
- 34:34Speaker 2: for us and what you really believe in. And you're
- 34:36Speaker 2: not going to be a tough guy, you know with
- 34:38Speaker 2: with hamas Asma. In fact, you're probably gonna be tougher
- 34:40Speaker 2: on Israel as the ambassador from the US.
- 34:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Look, the Biden administration's argument is essentially, our policies have
- 34:48Speaker 3: utterly screwed up the Middle East. It's caused chaos in Israel.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Sending hundreds of billions of dollars to Iran and funding
- 34:54Speaker 3: terrorists was a spectactularly bad idea. But because things are
- 34:57Speaker 3: so screwed up, we need to confirm one of the
- 34:59Speaker 3: guys who was one of the lead advocates for sending
- 35:01Speaker 3: hundreds of billions of dollars to Iran and the terrorists.
- 35:04Speaker 3: In other words, one of the architects of the policies
- 35:06Speaker 3: who screwed this up. We got to confirm as our ambassador.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Because things are so screwed up, that makes no sense.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I would like to see a US ambassador to Israel
- 35:15Speaker 3: confirmed yesterday. I'd like to see one who actually has
- 35:18Speaker 3: committed number one to defending America, but number two to
- 35:21Speaker 3: standing with our friend in ally Israel. And Jack Lu's
- 35:24Speaker 3: record has been precisely backwards.
- 35:26Speaker 6: But let's go.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Let's go to the last exchange of the hearing, because
- 35:29Speaker 3: the last exchange really reveals. And finally, you advocated for
- 35:33Speaker 3: UN resolution two three three four, which declared much of
- 35:37Speaker 3: Israel illegally occupied territory, including the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem
- 35:43Speaker 3: and the Western Wall. Do you believe the Jewish Quarter
- 35:46Speaker 3: in the Western Wall or illegally occupied territory?
- 35:49Speaker 7: Senator, I do not believe that it is illegally occupied territory.
- 35:56Speaker 6: Why did you support a UN resolution saying that it is?
- 35:59Speaker 7: I think the the we could have a conversation about that,
- 36:02Speaker 7: but it was going to take me more than ten
- 36:04Speaker 7: seconds to respond to it, which all the time.
- 36:06Speaker 6: You allow the witness to respond. If you allow the witness.
- 36:10Speaker 7: To respond, so first, if I can respond, You've said
- 36:13Speaker 7: a lot of things that you have not given me
- 36:15Speaker 7: a chance to respond to. I sanctioned Hamas in twenty fifteen.
- 36:18Speaker 7: Hamas was sanctioned again today. So I don't think it
- 36:21Speaker 7: was a fair characterization of either what I did or
- 36:23Speaker 7: this administration. Second of all, the issue of a UN
- 36:29Speaker 7: resolution is it was a UN resolution that all the
- 36:35Speaker 7: parties had to agree to, that was negotiated to take
- 36:37Speaker 7: out the most offensive provisions.
- 36:40Speaker 8: Whether it was a good or a bad resolution.
- 36:42Speaker 7: In the end, the president decided to abstain rather than
- 36:46Speaker 7: have a worse resolution come out. You can agree or
- 36:49Speaker 7: disagree with that Veto did, but he was trying to
- 36:52Speaker 7: prevent a worse resolution.
- 36:56Speaker 6: The time has expired, worth.
- 37:00Speaker 3: So understand that exchange. So this all happened at the
- 37:05Speaker 3: end of twenty sixteen. So December of twenty sixteen, the
- 37:07Speaker 3: president dential election has happened. Donald Trump has just been elected.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Barack Obama is a lame duck on the way out.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Before they leave, they decided they wanted to stick it
- 37:18Speaker 3: to Israel on the way out the door. So in
- 37:20Speaker 3: December of twenty sixteen, the Obama administration orchestrated UN Resolution
- 37:25Speaker 3: two three three four. UN Resolution two three three four
- 37:29Speaker 3: is the most viciously anti Israel, anti Semitic resolution that's
- 37:33Speaker 3: ever made it out of the United Nations. It declares
- 37:37Speaker 3: much of modern day Israel illegally occupied territory and illegitimate.
- 37:43Speaker 3: It declares Judaea and Samaria illegally occupied territory and illegitimate.
- 37:49Speaker 3: It declares, as I mentioned in the question, the Jewish
- 37:52Speaker 3: Quarter of Jerusalem as illegally occupied territory. It declares the
- 37:58Speaker 3: Western Wall. It's also called the whaling Wall. You may
- 38:00Speaker 3: remember there's a famous picture of Barack Obama wearing a
- 38:03Speaker 3: yamaka with his hand resting against the Western Wall. Under
- 38:08Speaker 3: UN resolution two three three four, the western wall of
- 38:12Speaker 3: the of Solomon's Temple is illegally occupied territory. Now that
- 38:18Speaker 3: is absurd. It is a lie. It is incredibly damaging. Now,
- 38:23Speaker 3: how did the Obama administration did this. They did this
- 38:25Speaker 3: by orchestrating behind the scenes and getting the enemies of
- 38:28Speaker 3: Israel to draft it, to author it. They were actively
- 38:33Speaker 3: involved in drafting it. But then you know his defense
- 38:38Speaker 3: that he kept saying, well, we did it because we
- 38:41Speaker 3: wanted to prevent something worse from happening. We wanted that
- 38:44Speaker 3: to prevent them from passing an even worse resolution. Now
- 38:48Speaker 3: there is a technical legal term for what he just
- 38:50Speaker 3: did there, and that's called a lie. That's called utter garbage.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Why because under the UN Charter, the United States is
- 38:58Speaker 3: a permanent member of the Securearity Council, and we have
- 39:01Speaker 3: a veto. We can veto any resolution that comes out.
- 39:05Speaker 3: So if the United States says two words, says I object,
- 39:09Speaker 3: the resolution fails, that's a power the United States has.
- 39:14Speaker 3: So he said, well, the president decided to abstain, So
- 39:17Speaker 3: he did more than that. The Obama administration was behind
- 39:20Speaker 3: the scenes orchestrating the whole thing. But lou was intimately
- 39:25Speaker 3: involved in undermining Israel on the way out the door.
- 39:30Speaker 3: And I will note when the Trump presidency started, I
- 39:33Speaker 3: introduced legislation that would have cut off funding for the
- 39:36Speaker 3: United Nations entirely from the United States unless and until
- 39:41Speaker 3: they rescinded UN Resolution two three three four. And we
- 39:45Speaker 3: should have stood hard and done that. Unfortunately, in fact,
- 39:48Speaker 3: I got in arguments with Niki Haley it was nominated
- 39:52Speaker 3: to be UN Ambassador, because she disagreed with doing that.
- 39:54Speaker 3: And I think we should have stood firmly and said
- 39:58Speaker 3: this is a viciously anti Israel resolution and we will
- 40:01Speaker 3: not stand for it. You're not getting our money as
- 40:04Speaker 3: long as you're attacking Israel. That's what we should have done.
- 40:07Speaker 3: But I got to say I have no doubt that
- 40:11Speaker 3: the Secretary General of the UN would would have been
- 40:16Speaker 3: thrilled and maybe was thrilled at the time with the resolution.
- 40:21Speaker 3: It's entirely consistent with the remarks that he made this week.
- 40:26Speaker 2: It is again one of those issues where Americans need
- 40:30Speaker 2: to understand these are important and big votes, and these
- 40:33Speaker 2: are people that are getting into positions of power and
- 40:36Speaker 2: they're putting not just our security at risk, but especially
- 40:40Speaker 2: those in Israel at risk, and with this anti semitism,
- 40:44Speaker 2: to be clear, that's what it is. I also want
- 40:47Speaker 2: to play for you, Senator the White House. They're taking
- 40:50Speaker 2: some heat now for their stance on Israel that seems
- 40:53Speaker 2: to be changing by the hour. Before I do that,
- 40:55Speaker 2: I want to tell you about our friends at Chalk.
- 40:58Speaker 2: If you are a guy and you're getting a little
- 41:00Speaker 2: bit older and you feel like that you have lost
- 41:02Speaker 2: some of your strength and your vitality and weakness is
- 41:06Speaker 2: setting in, complacency setting in.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Maybe you just don't feel like yourself.
- 41:10Speaker 2: You want to go out and be more active, but
- 41:12Speaker 2: you just feel like you are complacent and fatigued.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Well, you're not alone.

- 42:26Speaker 2: The White House and the White House got themselves in
- 42:29Speaker 2: some trouble because the President has mostly been saying the
- 42:33Speaker 2: right things, but the White House and the staffers completely
- 42:38Speaker 2: different story. Take a list in the White House Press briefing.
- 42:41Speaker 9: Level of concern right now about potential rise of.
- 42:45Speaker 6: Anti Semitism in line of everything that's going on is reel.
- 42:48Speaker 9: So a couple of things. Look, we have not seen
- 42:54Speaker 9: any credible threads. I know there's been always questions about
- 42:57Speaker 9: credible threads, and so just want to make sure that
- 43:01Speaker 9: that's out there. But look, Muslim and those perceived to
- 43:04Speaker 9: be Muslim have endured a disproportionate number of hate fueled attacks,
- 43:09Speaker 9: and certainly President Biden understands that many of our Muslim
- 43:12Speaker 9: Arab Arab Americans and Palastine American loved ones and neighbors
- 43:16Speaker 9: are worried about the hate being directed at their communities.
- 43:20Speaker 9: And that is something you heard the President speak to
- 43:22Speaker 9: in his address just last last Thursday. And so one
- 43:27Speaker 9: of the things that the President has done is directed
- 43:29Speaker 9: his team, Homeland Security team to prioritize prevention and disruption
- 43:34Speaker 9: of any emerging threats that could harm the Jewish, the
- 43:37Speaker 9: Muslim Ab Americans, are any other communities. And that is
- 43:40Speaker 9: something that the President has sought to do and since
- 43:44Speaker 9: day one, as you know, the President ran on you know,
- 43:48Speaker 9: bringing community, protecting communities obviously, but bringing people together, the soul,
- 43:54Speaker 9: protecting the soul of the nation. And so that is
- 43:57Speaker 9: something that the President takes very very serious. And you know,
- 44:02Speaker 9: we're going to continue to denounce any sort of hate
- 44:04Speaker 9: towards any American here, and so that's what we're going
- 44:07Speaker 9: to continue to be steadfast on. Again, he has advised
- 44:11Speaker 9: directed his Homeland Security team to make sure that they're
- 44:14Speaker 9: on top of this now.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Center.
- 44:16Speaker 2: The part about this that's so appable is the White
- 44:19Speaker 2: House Press Secretary has now come out and said, quote
- 44:23Speaker 2: she misheard the anti semitism question only because of the
- 44:28Speaker 2: massive backlash from that answer.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Well, it really is striking that the White House Press
- 44:33Speaker 3: Secretary is unwilling to stand up and clearly and unequivocally
- 44:36Speaker 3: condemned anti semitism. Say, anti Semitism is wrong, it is evil.
- 44:40Speaker 3: It is a unique evil that has existed on this
- 44:42Speaker 3: face of this planet for thousands of years, and we
- 44:46Speaker 3: are completely opposed to it. Moreover, we will ensure that
- 44:50Speaker 3: that law enforcement resources are there to protect Jewish Americans.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I'll tell you Jewish communities across this country have a
- 44:56Speaker 3: level of concern and a level of fear, unlike any
- 44:59Speaker 3: time I've ever scene as the anti Semitism on college
- 45:03Speaker 3: campuses that there was a Jewish student at Columbia was
- 45:07Speaker 3: beaten with a stick in recent days, the threats of
- 45:11Speaker 3: violence on campuses because the anti Israel, the jew hating
- 45:17Speaker 3: far left is so extreme that there is a real
- 45:21Speaker 3: threat of violence against the American Jewish community and for
- 45:25Speaker 3: that matter, of the Jewish community worldwide in Europe and elsewhere.
- 45:29Speaker 3: And I got to say her answer to that was
- 45:32Speaker 3: striking in that the Babylon Bee, which does a fabulous
- 45:36Speaker 3: job as a humor and satire site, they had an
- 45:41Speaker 3: article that they hadn't published, but they tweeted it out
- 45:44Speaker 3: today and they said, it's hard to stay ahead of reality.
- 45:47Speaker 6: At the Babylon Bee.
- 45:48Speaker 3: We had this written up last night, only to wake
- 45:51Speaker 3: up and see the White House doing exactly this before
- 45:53Speaker 3: we had a chance to publish. And here was the
- 45:56Speaker 3: fake satirical headline that they had written, and they were
- 45:59Speaker 3: getting ready to publish when Kareem John Pierre beat them
- 46:01Speaker 3: to the punch. The fake headline read in strong response
- 46:06Speaker 3: to rising hate crimes, against Jews, Democrats denounce Islamophobia. That's
- 46:11Speaker 3: exactly what she did. And it's and I tweeted out,
- 46:14Speaker 3: no longer satire, just sad because their view listen when
- 46:19Speaker 3: it comes to the anti Semitic bigots, to when it
- 46:22Speaker 3: comes to the squad, when it comes to the thirty
- 46:25Speaker 3: five student groups at Harvard and the radicals running our
- 46:30Speaker 3: college campuses, the Biden White House, and I would have
- 46:32Speaker 3: to assume, including Kareem John Pierre, side with the radicals
- 46:36Speaker 3: against the people of Israel and against even American Jews.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Their answer, they say, we've seen no credible threat of
- 46:45Speaker 3: anti Semitism in America. Really, well, where the hell have
- 46:48Speaker 3: you been if you haven't seen any, because I got
- 46:51Speaker 3: to tell you, the Jewish community is feeling it acutely,
- 46:55Speaker 3: and we've seen multiple horrific acts of violence directed against Jews,
- 46:58Speaker 3: directed against synagogue, including mass murders in the United States,
- 47:02Speaker 3: and for the White House to say they see no
- 47:05Speaker 3: credible threat is truly absurd.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:07Speaker 2: I was talking literally today to a dear friend of
- 47:10Speaker 2: mine who's Jewish and that works very close to Times
- 47:13Speaker 2: Square in a largely Jewish community, and he said they
- 47:17Speaker 2: had been told by local law enforcement to really be
- 47:21Speaker 2: on high alert and be careful, and even it recommended
- 47:24Speaker 2: they traveled together in groups, not be isolated alone, and
- 47:27Speaker 2: to be careful at their places of business. That is
- 47:32Speaker 2: what he said to me today. And yet the White
- 47:34Speaker 2: House is acting like none of that's happening at all.
- 47:37Speaker 3: It is sad and today's Democrat Party is captive to
- 47:41Speaker 3: the far left. And I will say I've had conversations
- 47:45Speaker 3: with multiple people on the left who are not deeply political,
- 47:50Speaker 3: who are shocked at the open anti Semitism that that
- 47:56Speaker 3: is arising on the far left. It's been there for
- 47:58Speaker 3: a long time, but if you're not paying attention, it
- 48:01Speaker 3: takes something like the events of the last couple of
- 48:03Speaker 3: weeks to really bring into stark relief.
- 48:05Speaker 6: And I hope this is opening some eyes.
