  Jesus tells a parable in Matthew 22 and in verse 8 he says this in that parable.

  Then he said to his slaves, the wedding is ready, but those who were invited were

  not worthy. In this parable, not worthy seems to be about making excuses, about

  not coming when it's ready. He prepared the feast and they declined to attend. If

  you have an excuse, you can be excused, but it will mean you are not going to

  make it in. Ultimately, there will be no more room even for repentance because he

  said, we prepared the feast, the wedding is ready, but those who were invited were

  not worthy and that's because they made excuses. So I would say today, start

  thinking of yourself and say, hey, am I making excuses to not do the things that

  God would have me to do? Have I listened to the persuasions of the

  world to get me to do things that the world wants me to do instead of what God

  wants me to do? Maybe need to turn the TV off and spend some time in the Word of

  friendly family entertainment with your children if you have them or even for

  yourself. I like a lot of kids shows that are godly. So no more excuses, let's be
