- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Milian things, and it's not true. Good Steve listening to mother,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join me. You gotta use that turning. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out, turning, got to turn out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water, y'all. Come, come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby. Uh huh, I show will good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show, man, Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I do. Steve Harvey got a radio show because I
- 2:18Speaker 1: can't tell it to you any other way because God
- 2:20Speaker 1: has been so so very amazing to me. But the
- 2:27Speaker 1: same God, and there is but one that same God is.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It can and will be amazing in your life if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you just allow it to happen. You know. I was somewhere,
- 2:43Speaker 1: you know, and I was driving on the freeway somewhere,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and I saw bill board and it was a guy
- 2:53Speaker 1: in a field on his knees. And on this billboard
- 2:58Speaker 1: it said something to the affair when when you've run
- 3:03Speaker 1: out of answers, try prayer. I was, I was going
- 3:10Speaker 1: somewhere and I don't even remember I go so much. Man.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I was just going somewhere and I saw this billboard
- 3:18Speaker 1: and I thought about that, And man, I cannot tell
- 3:24Speaker 1: you how true of a statement that is. When you've
- 3:29Speaker 1: run out of answers, when you don't know what to do,
- 3:33Speaker 1: when you feel weak, when you are at a low point,
- 3:37Speaker 1: when things just seem to keep happening to you, and
- 3:41Speaker 1: you don't understand why. Prayer is an amazing weapon. Prayer
- 3:48Speaker 1: is available to all of us. Here's a deal. You
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't have to go through the all of that you're
- 3:57Speaker 1: going through alone. See, And I'm talking to men, women, boys, girls, students, leaders, bosses, employees.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I don't care what's happening. I don't care what your
- 4:10Speaker 1: situation is. I don't care if your relationship is all
- 4:14Speaker 1: jacked up. I don't care if your kids and your
- 4:17Speaker 1: relationship is jacked up. I don't care if your relationship
- 4:22Speaker 1: at work is shot. Your coworkers seem to always make
- 4:25Speaker 1: you the buddy end of the joke. You always somebody
- 4:29Speaker 1: always talking about you behind your back. You're finding it
- 4:32Speaker 1: more and more necessary to try to hold your head
- 4:35Speaker 1: up and walk past these people when some days you
- 4:38Speaker 1: can't even get your chin up off your chest. If
- 4:42Speaker 1: you're a woman out there and you've been alone by
- 4:44Speaker 1: yourself for so long and you're just tired of being alone,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you really want a relationship, you really want to be
- 4:52Speaker 1: have a mate, you want to meet your soul mate,
- 4:55Speaker 1: whatever it is, whatever it is, prayer is the answer.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You are listening to a guy who is a direct
- 5:06Speaker 1: recipient of prayer. I can't tell you anything that I've
- 5:12Speaker 1: gotten out of that I didn't pray about. Oh, now,
- 5:17Speaker 1: there are a lot of things. Hold on, let me
- 5:19Speaker 1: backtrack a little bit. There are a lot of things
- 5:21Speaker 1: that have happened in my life that I've gotten past
- 5:25Speaker 1: without praying, because I think my Mamma was praying for me.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And then there's this thing that God has called grace
- 5:31Speaker 1: and mercy that he just somehow keeps us all waking
- 5:35Speaker 1: up every day without foot on some form or solid ground,
- 5:39Speaker 1: because He's just waiting on us to come to him.
- 5:42Speaker 1: But y'all, if you can implement prayer into your day
- 5:48Speaker 1: every single day, and I'm talking about put it in
- 5:52Speaker 1: there at the top of your day, put it in
- 5:54Speaker 1: there in middly your day, put it in there when
- 5:57Speaker 1: you close your day out. When you're sitting at your
- 6:01Speaker 1: desk and ain't nobody bothering you, that's a good time. Now, Look,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you don't have to make no scene. You ain't got
- 6:09Speaker 1: to let everybody know, Oh I'm spiritual, I love God
- 6:12Speaker 1: looking me, Oh I'm down, or you ain't gotta do
- 6:14Speaker 1: none of that. Matter of fact, don't do it for
- 6:16Speaker 1: that reason, because if that's your reason for doing it,
- 6:19Speaker 1: that's gonna be your reward. If you want somebody to
- 6:21Speaker 1: just say, oh, they pray every you know, they pray
- 6:24Speaker 1: at lunch and they had a Bible on their desk
- 6:26Speaker 1: and they have a bunch of highlights in it. If
- 6:29Speaker 1: you're sitting it out there so people can see that
- 6:30Speaker 1: that's what you do, then that's gonna be your reward. Please, No,
- 6:35Speaker 1: that's gonna be your reward. What I want you to do,
- 6:40Speaker 1: it's pray. Ask God for the things the desires of
- 6:45Speaker 1: your heart, have a faith, believe in them. But pray earnestly. Man.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I mean, actually go at it with saying, hey, God,
- 6:56Speaker 1: listen to me. I can't do this without you. I
- 7:00Speaker 1: need your help. Listen, man, I know a lot of
- 7:03Speaker 1: people that pray. I know a lot of it. If
- 7:06Speaker 1: I told you the rich and famous that I talk
- 7:11Speaker 1: to that pray constantly, it would amaze you. Go talk
- 7:15Speaker 1: to God about it, man. Matter of fact, you'd already
- 7:18Speaker 1: got yourself into trouble. Go talk to God about it.
- 7:22Speaker 1: You can't see no way out. You're in a situation.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You're thinking about doing something straight crazy. Pump your brake's partner.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Slow down a little bit, my man, Slow down. Don't
- 7:33Speaker 1: all you're gonna do is make a situation worse. Go
- 7:36Speaker 1: over there today and talk to God. Talk to God
- 7:42Speaker 1: for real. Just and look, man. You know what. Man,
- 7:46Speaker 1: Sometimes I've gone to God and I've just said, Hey, God,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I don't have a clue. Matter of fact, I'm so
- 7:53Speaker 1: jacked up right now. God, I don't even really know
- 7:56Speaker 1: what to ask you for. I just need some help.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm so deep is some mess right now. Not only
- 8:04Speaker 1: can I not see the way out, I can't see
- 8:06Speaker 1: my way round. There's a there's a poem calling Victus,
- 8:13Speaker 1: and the opening line says, out of the night that
- 8:17Speaker 1: covers me black as a pit from pole to pole,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I thank God for whatever be from my unconquerable soul.
- 8:29Speaker 1: That this line is so deep. It starts off saying,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I am in deep trouble. I'm in a pit, black
- 8:40Speaker 1: as a pit, from pole to pole. I'm talking about man.
- 8:44Speaker 1: From over there to over there, it's pitch black and
- 8:51Speaker 1: and and man, that's man. You've been in that situation before, y'all,
- 8:56Speaker 1: because I have. I'm talking about black as a pit
- 9:01Speaker 1: from pole to pole. God is there, God is available.
- 9:08Speaker 1: God is always standing by. He just wants you to
- 9:13Speaker 1: come to him. See, he's been coming to you a
- 9:17Speaker 1: whole lot of times. He's presented himself. I can't tell
- 9:20Speaker 1: you how many times he's shown you how good a
- 9:23Speaker 1: god he is. He's given us all grace and mercy
- 9:26Speaker 1: without us asking for He's gotten you through some things
- 9:29Speaker 1: and you look at him. Who, Man, I don't know
- 9:31Speaker 1: how to hell. Okay, that's cool, I'm cool. No no, no, no, no,
- 9:34Speaker 1: that wasn't cool. That was God. Pray man, when you
- 9:39Speaker 1: out of answers and you don't know what to do, Pray.
- 9:42Speaker 1: If you see some trouble coming, Pray if you already
- 9:45Speaker 1: got into it. Pray if you don't know the answers.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Pray if you can't see no way out, pray, Pray man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: talk to God. Don't make a scene. Just talk to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: all right, very important. You're listening. One two, one two three?
- 10:07Speaker 1: I got it? Oh what is it? I got it?
- 10:14Speaker 1: Anything you won't? I got it? Oh, hit record, I
- 10:20Speaker 1: got it. Made it up myself. I got it. You
- 10:26Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about? Got it? Said with me,
- 10:31Speaker 1: with you? I got it. Black people know they got it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Have you ever been to a lounge and you yeah,
- 10:43Speaker 1: because it ain't a good song and you want the
- 10:45Speaker 1: people that's doing it to stop, But they didn't wrote it,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and they think it's hot and they just doing it.
- 10:52Speaker 1: They never like been to a light like a holiday
- 10:54Speaker 1: in lounge. You know. The hotel lounges are done. You
- 11:04Speaker 1: do know that, though, Well that's the last time I
- 11:08Speaker 1: was anyone. So they don't have the hotel. You're trying
- 11:15Speaker 1: to tell me they don't have entertainment and hotels no more, No,
- 11:18Speaker 1: they don't know that. In New York, Man Park, the Park,
- 11:24Speaker 1: the park hotel. Okay, Well I might be small bars
- 11:29Speaker 1: and stuff like that. Yeah, you do know. There's there's
- 11:33Speaker 1: like I don't know if I'm telling you or not,
- 11:35Speaker 1: but I haven't seen a ramada in a long time. Yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: those are gone. Howard Howard is still around, and Howard, No, no,
- 11:51Speaker 1: red roof still around, nights and is still around, Daisy,
- 11:54Speaker 1: it's still around. Hotel six is still still around. So
- 11:59Speaker 1: we do them blew up and just ain't stayed there?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Is that what happened? No? No, no, no you no no,
- 12:07Speaker 1: don't say we see the other two dudes know about
- 12:10Speaker 1: these places. You don't want this news to them. Okay,
- 12:16Speaker 1: did you ever stay at a hotel? When you open
- 12:18Speaker 1: the door, yes, you're right outside. You know there's no
- 12:22Speaker 1: I've done that. I've done that. Baton rouge Louis. When
- 12:28Speaker 1: you walked out the door and you you can see
- 12:30Speaker 1: your car, your car, airport end, night's end, red roof end,
- 12:36Speaker 1: if you can see your dough from the parking lot.
- 12:40Speaker 1: My boys is going to the home coming that Kent,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and they was all talking about where they're gonna stay.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So everybody was saying, we're gonna stay at the Hampton End.
- 12:49Speaker 1: And I'm not familiar with that at Kent because it
- 12:51Speaker 1: wasn't one when I was there. So were all talking.
- 12:54Speaker 1: They say love, thank you to come man, thank you.
- 12:57Speaker 1: If you ain't working, you might could come. And I
- 13:00Speaker 1: I got quiet, and they said, what's wrong? I said, hey, man,
- 13:03Speaker 1: let me ask y'all. Y'all stand and yeah, let me
- 13:09Speaker 1: ask you some Can I see my dough from the
- 13:12Speaker 1: parking lot? They asked, fell out laugh They said, yeah, dog,
- 13:17Speaker 1: you can see it from now, said dog, I can't
- 13:18Speaker 1: stay there. I ain't gonna get no sleep though, they're
- 13:22Speaker 1: gonna be in my dough all night long. I said, no,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I can't do it. Bro where you can hear the
- 13:28Speaker 1: ice machine? No, we've stayed in the rooms. That all right.
- 13:35Speaker 1: We're gonna move on, guys and coming up at thirty
- 13:37Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, asked the CLO Chief Love
- 13:40Speaker 1: Officer Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening to show
- 13:46Speaker 1: time for asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey.
- 13:51Speaker 1: In the building, ready for your questions. Courtney and I
- 13:55Speaker 1: heart app listener says, I'm thirty and dating a man
- 13:59Speaker 1: that's thirty one one, and he tells me all the
- 14:01Speaker 1: time that I'm his soul mate. He's all into me
- 14:04Speaker 1: in every way. He gives me bass and pedicures, and
- 14:08Speaker 1: he even will polish my toenails if I ask him too.
- 14:12Speaker 1: He irons my clothes for me daily, and he cleans
- 14:15Speaker 1: up the kitchen. If I cook, we never argue, and
- 14:18Speaker 1: if we ever disagree, we settle it quickly. Is this
- 14:22Speaker 1: letter fall? Listen? He's so different than any other guy
- 14:26Speaker 1: I've dated. My daddy says he's soft and won't make
- 14:30Speaker 1: a good husband. How can my daddy make such a
- 14:33Speaker 1: negative assumption. Yeah, it's better to be soft. Nothing says
- 14:38Speaker 1: that the man is daddy. Maybe her father's hard and
- 14:43Speaker 1: made me and there is a good husband. So he thinking,
- 14:47Speaker 1: because this dude ain't hard, he must be soft. Lady,
- 14:53Speaker 1: if you have no complaints, don't let your father create one.
- 14:57Speaker 1: This guy's a dream day go ash. Well, can't say that,
- 15:03Speaker 1: all right? What I can't say that because somebody I
- 15:08Speaker 1: was gonna say, maybe you should ask your mom how
- 15:11Speaker 1: happy she's been and how she would feel with some
- 15:16Speaker 1: treatment like that. Because your daddy he didn't even do
- 15:19Speaker 1: none of that. He's get into that. Yeah, all right?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Moving on Kenetra and Memphis. Right. So, I'm a forty
- 15:25Speaker 1: two year old divorced woman and I fell in love
- 15:27Speaker 1: with a perfect guy, but I ran him away by
- 15:30Speaker 1: being paranoid. I had a rough marriage and my husband cheated,
- 15:34Speaker 1: so I developed bad habits like checking his phone and
- 15:38Speaker 1: popping up at places he was hanging out. I carried
- 15:41Speaker 1: this behavior into my new relationship and was always accusing
- 15:44Speaker 1: my new guy of messing around. I want a second
- 15:47Speaker 1: chance with him, and I want him to know that
- 15:49Speaker 1: I changed. How do I start the conversation with him? Lugg?
- 15:53Speaker 1: You know what? You know what what? Boy? I was
- 15:59Speaker 1: tripping and you know I was. You know, It's so
- 16:03Speaker 1: crazy because you know, I know you're a good man,
- 16:06Speaker 1: but I'm so stupid. I'd be the changing your phone
- 16:08Speaker 1: and you know, you ain't even know. I'd be outside
- 16:11Speaker 1: the ball waiting on you. I'll been each other house
- 16:14Speaker 1: and I just said, you know, I've just been you know.
- 16:16Speaker 1: But he was my ex. He just made me his way.
- 16:18Speaker 1: But and you know what, I'm not gonna do that
- 16:21Speaker 1: anymore because I think I found what I'm looking for.
- 16:24Speaker 1: You know, Yeah, yeah it might work, but I doubt it. Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 1: All right. So Tony in the Bay Area says, I'm
- 16:35Speaker 1: a thirty three year old married man raising my two
- 16:38Speaker 1: daughters while my wife is in jail for sixteen months.
- 16:42Speaker 1: She committed credit card fraud and I was clueless when
- 16:46Speaker 1: she got arrested. The problem I'm having now is that
- 16:49Speaker 1: she only calls us once a week. If then she
- 16:53Speaker 1: calls her mom daily and it ticks me off. Her
- 16:56Speaker 1: mom said, she's still ashamed to talk to me. But
- 16:59Speaker 1: I don't believe leave that she had a whole side
- 17:02Speaker 1: hustle that I didn't know about. So do you think
- 17:04Speaker 1: she has a side dude too? Am I being a
- 17:07Speaker 1: fool for waiting for her? Wow? Whoa a side dude? Yeah?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Well you don't know, but bro, listen to me, credit card.
- 17:21Speaker 1: There ain't got nothing to do with a side dude.
- 17:24Speaker 1: She might be, you know, honestly, just embarrassed. The mom
- 17:31Speaker 1: could be right, I don't know what you got the
- 17:33Speaker 1: other dude from because she kept that from him. You know,
- 17:37Speaker 1: she keeps secret. So he okay, well, okay, okay, then
- 17:43Speaker 1: go with that theory, you know, go with that theory
- 17:47Speaker 1: and see how that work out for you. Sometimes being
- 17:51Speaker 1: paralel about stuff that you have no facts on it,
- 17:53Speaker 1: it's a waste of time. It's like, worried, why are
- 17:56Speaker 1: you tripping yourself out about something that you don't even
- 17:59Speaker 1: have the facts. But uncle, she lied about that. What
- 18:02Speaker 1: he thinking is she probably has some most skeletons, That's
- 18:05Speaker 1: what it is. Well, excuse me, but Nephew, Tommy, because
- 18:09Speaker 1: you lie about one thing, don't mean that you lie
- 18:12Speaker 1: about everything. When I lie when nothing when I lied?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Na Sherley, No, because you usually have. You know, when
- 18:24Speaker 1: you tell one lie, you're telling another line another. But
- 18:28Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just saying this. Because you lie about
- 18:31Speaker 1: one thing don't mean you'll lie about all things. Now,
- 18:34Speaker 1: if you want to accept the paranoia and act on it,
- 18:38Speaker 1: then't go ahead. But the woman might not have nothing
- 18:42Speaker 1: to do with no other dude. She called once a week.
- 18:45Speaker 1: She in bad. She called her mama daily. How close
- 18:49Speaker 1: was y'all before she went in? While not as close
- 18:53Speaker 1: as they were? Why was you doing all this anyway?
- 18:56Speaker 1: I mean, why was she doing all this anyway? Something
- 18:59Speaker 1: else is going on, bro, And now you're thinking it's
- 19:02Speaker 1: another dude in the picture. When she went to jail
- 19:06Speaker 1: for credit card for all, she didn't go to jail
- 19:10Speaker 1: with an accomplish. That was a dude. She went by herself.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Maybe we need to see what she was buying with
- 19:15Speaker 1: the credit card. I mean, we got hotels on it
- 19:17Speaker 1: and a whole bunch of other stuff. Then yeah, see,
- 19:21Speaker 1: you know, why don't we just lett mister negativity here.
- 19:25Speaker 1: He's a good person. He's raised he's a dad of two,
- 19:28Speaker 1: raising two daughters. I don't know how I became negativity.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I'm negativity. She just letting him ask all the little
- 19:37Speaker 1: negative asked questions so he can break up this family.
- 19:40Speaker 1: All right, we're moving We're moving on. I know you
- 19:43Speaker 1: agree with him, Jay, because you you ignorant. So I'm
- 19:47Speaker 1: moving on. Jay understands me. Let's get to this one.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Kevin Huntsville says, I'm fifty two and I recently met
- 19:55Speaker 1: a fifty five year old man on an unline dating site.
- 19:58Speaker 1: He has never been married, he is one adult child.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I am divorced and I have one child in college.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I bought a small house after my divorce, and he's
- 20:06Speaker 1: living in a one bedroom apartment. We both are teachers,
- 20:10Speaker 1: and we're both Baptists. Other than that, we don't seem
- 20:12Speaker 1: to be on the same page. To be honest, I'd
- 20:14Speaker 1: hope to meet the man that didn't still live in
- 20:16Speaker 1: an apartment. Am I focused on the wrong thing? Should
- 20:19Speaker 1: I get to know him? Anyway? Cello? I mean, you
- 20:22Speaker 1: got every right to focus on what you want to
- 20:25Speaker 1: focus on day, your priorities. If you want a man
- 20:28Speaker 1: that's a home on at fifty two, then maybe that's
- 20:30Speaker 1: one of your qualifications and you can pass up on
- 20:33Speaker 1: a good man. If he ain't never been married, maybe
- 20:35Speaker 1: he ain't never had a reason by the house, I
- 20:37Speaker 1: don't know, or he couldn't live with somebody. He just
- 20:40Speaker 1: said he ain't been married. You know, he leave with nobody,
- 20:44Speaker 1: you know? All right, well, thank you once again. You
- 20:48Speaker 1: could ask mister negativity what he wanted to do about roversial.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I can let everybody off, you know, and everybody just
- 20:54Speaker 1: break up. Coming up next the nephew and run that
- 20:57Speaker 1: brank back. You're listening to Dave Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 21:02Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Miss Anne will
- 21:04Speaker 1: be here with our national news and then the entertainment news.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Doctor Dre has to pay and it's quite a bit.
- 21:10Speaker 1: You'll see how much in a minute. Also, Nick Cannon,
- 21:13Speaker 1: Steve now has as many kids as you. We'll talk
- 21:16Speaker 1: about all of this at the top of the hour,
- 21:19Speaker 1: but right now it is time to run that prank back.
- 21:22Speaker 1: What you got for us NAFF phase drug test phase
- 21:28Speaker 1: drug might have faith one last time. Everybody know a faith,
- 21:33Speaker 1: but you know they ain't making no more phase do
- 21:35Speaker 1: y'all know any phase anybody knows. I know you do
- 21:39Speaker 1: phase drug test. Let's go cat. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 21:45Speaker 1: to reach a faith please. This is she Hello, this

- 26:27Speaker 1: Now I have clean at all time. Mister you shouldn't

- 26:36Speaker 1: You're behind him myself where you can bring your soul
- 26:40Speaker 1: and when you came you to bring mister with you here.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Let you know I'll have no positive you can come

- 26:59Speaker 1: the few timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 27:03Speaker 1: just got pranked by your sister Alan. I know one
- 27:08Speaker 1: thing y'all played too much. I'll play too much. But
- 27:14Speaker 1: I'm coming to give mister rogers. She gonna get no
- 27:20Speaker 1: positive hell out of met me thinking I was doing

- 27:40Speaker 1: out of her. I got one more question for you, baby.
- 27:44Speaker 1: You got to tell me this. What is the baddest
- 27:46Speaker 1: I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land,
- 27:50Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Huh you hit the damn thing?
- 27:59Speaker 1: I did it again? Did it again? Why did anybody
- 28:05Speaker 1: doubt it? I didn't, you know. Let's see what confess. Well,
- 28:09Speaker 1: here come, big doughter, Big brother Doughter. Here we go.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Let's see what he gotta say. Big brother doubt it
- 28:17Speaker 1: was all right? Wouldn't? He is the king of pranks.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I accept that. Tight on him that, But I called
- 28:26Speaker 1: about my business. I have told him what's gonna happen.
- 28:29Speaker 1: He ain't listened. He gonna keep treading on that mean
- 28:33Speaker 1: water until it happened. So now I'm gonna just be
- 28:35Speaker 1: here when it happened. You know, I'm gonna let it
- 28:37Speaker 1: jump off for a little bit. I'm gonna help him.
- 28:39Speaker 1: But you know, are you saying it's found to happen?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying? Ever, No, no, no, Jay,
- 28:47Speaker 1: What he is saying is I'm and whooped. He gonna
- 28:50Speaker 1: let somebody get four or five links in for he jumping.
- 28:53Speaker 1: That's what he's saying. Well, I gotta make that's what's happening. Yeah, No,
- 28:58Speaker 1: that is No, I ain't missing a point missing. No, not,
- 29:01Speaker 1: You're you're gonna jump in and help them. That's the
- 29:04Speaker 1: point after I get hit four or five times, though,
- 29:08Speaker 1: that's not the point. Coming up at the top of
- 29:12Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have entertainment news and national news with
- 29:16Speaker 1: miss Anne Trip. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 29:19Speaker 1: Nave Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys, there's been a really
- 29:26Speaker 1: big development in doctor Dre's legal battle involving spousal support
- 29:29Speaker 1: for his soon to be ex wife, Nicole Young. After
- 29:33Speaker 1: a year of back and forth over whether there was
- 29:35Speaker 1: a pre nup in place, the judge has ordered doctor
- 29:38Speaker 1: Dre to play close to to pay close to three
- 29:42Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars a month. Okay, what who of god?
- 29:48Speaker 1: All the money he's got. You think that's a lot.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I don't know. Okay, thousand dollars a month or approximately
- 29:55Speaker 1: three and a half million dollars a year. He's supposed
- 29:57Speaker 1: to pay that to Nicole's law August first, on a
- 30:01Speaker 1: temporary basis until the pair can negotiate terms of their
- 30:05Speaker 1: divorce settlement. In addition to the monthly payments, doctor J
- 30:09Speaker 1: will pay her for her health insurance, will pay for
- 30:12Speaker 1: her health insurance, and pay all of the expenses for
- 30:15Speaker 1: the Malibu and Pacific Palisades homes. The payments are ordered
- 30:20Speaker 1: to continue until she remarries or enters into a new
- 30:23Speaker 1: domestic partnership, or or one of them dies health If
- 30:29Speaker 1: she's sick, what is it? Health insurance? You got to
- 30:33Speaker 1: have health insurance? Oh my god? So three million dollars
- 30:38Speaker 1: a year thor and a half. Yeah, don't forget the
- 30:40Speaker 1: half three and a half million dollars year. He's a billionaire,
- 30:45Speaker 1: isn't he? And she can't pay insurance out of that?
- 30:48Speaker 1: Would she get Look, you heard what the judge said,
- 30:54Speaker 1: the questions. It's nothing compared to this. Are you sick?
- 31:01Speaker 1: Are you sick? Not at all? It's got to be
- 31:04Speaker 1: a deductible. I mean, what do you think. Well, I'm
- 31:11Speaker 1: gonna address bitter man and cheapimistic. Here's here's a situation.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Come on, I'm telling you right now, doctor dre is
- 31:23Speaker 1: smiling from earty. You are talking about three hundred thousand
- 31:28Speaker 1: dollars a month. Not much money this man is worth. Secondly,
- 31:32Speaker 1: she gets the house, the mansion, and he has to
- 31:35Speaker 1: pay all the expenses. Are you all not forgetting that
- 31:39Speaker 1: this woman was with him when he built this empire,
- 31:43Speaker 1: so she is entitled to a share of it. Also,
- 31:47Speaker 1: this is the house where his children have grown up
- 31:50Speaker 1: in what man worth? His salts will take his children
- 31:53Speaker 1: from their home. That's fair. The expenses to run the house,
- 31:59Speaker 1: it's eighteen thousand a month. I don't know if you
- 32:01Speaker 1: all remember, but he sold drave beats for close to
- 32:05Speaker 1: I think one point something three billion dollars. Uh, he's
- 32:11Speaker 1: making somewhere to the tune of seven hundred thousand a year,
- 32:16Speaker 1: maybe could be more seven yeah, yeah, seven hundred million
- 32:20Speaker 1: a year. If you tell me that, I gotta get
- 32:23Speaker 1: this woman three and a half million dollars in them
- 32:26Speaker 1: them house I'm talking about all over the place, and
- 32:31Speaker 1: I'm sure he okay with giving her that. I think
- 32:35Speaker 1: we need to sell this house. I think that's our problem.
- 32:37Speaker 1: But made it just me? Where it is just you?
- 32:42Speaker 1: Where will they have children? Yeah, they don't live at Amaldi.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Kids is grown. They grew up in that house. When
- 32:50Speaker 1: you go back to see your mother, you want to
- 32:52Speaker 1: go home. When I go to the house I grew
- 32:55Speaker 1: up in, we got tenants in there. I have, I have,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I have. I have a rude, rude surprise for you. Son.
- 33:05Speaker 1: You can't ever get a divorce. I'm not and I'm not.
- 33:09Speaker 1: You can't ever get a divorce. You're in the state
- 33:12Speaker 1: of Texas. You've been married more than nine years. I
- 33:15Speaker 1: got a surprise for you. Oh boy, all right, Yeah,
- 33:20Speaker 1: you ain't gonna like it. Listen, we gotta check in
- 33:24Speaker 1: with Missanne now, Steve. Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I'd like to divorce myself anyway. I wouldn't get anything.
- 33:31Speaker 1: This is a trip for the news. Good morning, everybody.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Opening ceremonies that this year's Olympic Games are underway right now.
- 33:37Speaker 1: A first Lady Joe Biden's over there in Tokyo, and
- 33:40Speaker 1: she's cheering on our athletes. By the way, about one
- 33:43Speaker 1: hundred of the six hundred and thirteen US competitors have vaccinated.
- 33:47Speaker 1: No spectators are going to be allowed over there either,
- 33:49Speaker 1: so it's kind of really going to be real different. Meanwhile,
- 33:51Speaker 1: health officials here say that just over the past two weeks,
- 33:54Speaker 1: a number of COVID cases have more than doubled across
- 33:57Speaker 1: the country. CDC Director Rochelle Willinski says the problem is
- 34:01Speaker 1: fewer people are getting vaccinated, and this new form of
- 34:04Speaker 1: the virus is a bad one. Compared to the virus
- 34:07Speaker 1: we had circulating initially in the United States at the
- 34:09Speaker 1: start of the pandemic, the delta variant is more aggressive
- 34:13Speaker 1: and much more transmissible than previously circulating strains. It is
- 34:18Speaker 1: one of the most infectious respiratory viruses we know of
- 34:21Speaker 1: and that I have seen in my twenty year career.
- 34:24Speaker 1: The CEC reports that only fifty six percent of American
- 34:27Speaker 1: adults have received at least one dose of vaccine. They
- 34:30Speaker 1: win majority of coronavirus deaths in the US right now
- 34:32Speaker 1: among those who are not inoculated right now. The White
- 34:35Speaker 1: House stands with the CDC and saying that vaccinated people
- 34:38Speaker 1: don't need a mask, with people who have not been
- 34:40Speaker 1: should wear masks to protect themselves and other people. State
- 34:43Speaker 1: of Mississippi asking the US as Supreme Court to overturn
- 34:46Speaker 1: the nineteen seventy through overweight decision legalizing abortion. A Florida
- 34:51Speaker 1: lawyer has fathered suit contending that when cities and state
- 34:53Speaker 1: governments maintain Confederate monuments on public land that it's an
- 34:58Speaker 1: endorsement of white supremacy that tax ars have to pay for.
- 35:01Speaker 1: The suit filed by Jacksonville attorney Earl Johnson Junior, whose father,
- 35:04Speaker 1: by the way, was one of the reverend doctor Martin
- 35:07Speaker 1: Luther King's lawyers. Johnson's suits argues that the Thirteenth Amendment,
- 35:10Speaker 1: which abolished slavery, should also block the funding for monuments
- 35:14Speaker 1: to slavery on public land. It goes the way I
- 35:17Speaker 1: want it, we will finally, once and for all, get
- 35:19Speaker 1: the Confederacy off of welfare. Johnson hopes that a ruling
- 35:22Speaker 1: in his favorite would take Confederate statues off the public
- 35:25Speaker 1: Dole Bootleg Blaze and Oregon, now the third largest fire
- 35:30Speaker 1: in that state in more than one hundred years. Smoke
- 35:32Speaker 1: from it. Another blaze is sending smoke and haze across
- 35:34Speaker 1: the country, and state's dealing with climate change. Everything's dry
- 35:37Speaker 1: and mega drafts was making it worse. And finally, the
- 35:43Speaker 1: fabulous Marla Gives has just gotten her star on the
- 35:45Speaker 1: Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was flaunched, you know, into
- 35:48Speaker 1: Jefferson's but she was married on two to seven. Than
- 35:55Speaker 1: no place hunting out. Back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:59Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, So guys, Steve, our buddy, Nick
- 36:06Speaker 1: Cannon is one proud daddy. You got to say that
- 36:08Speaker 1: about him. He just announced the birth of his countum
- 36:12Speaker 1: seventh son, his seventh child, I should say. Nick posted
- 36:16Speaker 1: a picture of the newborn on Instagram and wrote, introducing
- 36:19Speaker 1: Zen Scott Cannon aka z Chillen. Nick's children have been
- 36:27Speaker 1: a topic of discussion lately after having four children with
- 36:31Speaker 1: three different women within a year's time, but Nick hasn't
- 36:34Speaker 1: offered any explanations on this. In a recent interview, he
- 36:38Speaker 1: said he's fully aware of the situation and having all
- 36:41Speaker 1: these children is actually intentional on his part. Intentional. So,
- 36:49Speaker 1: hell baby, let me be a millionaire. I mean, I
- 36:54Speaker 1: was wondering why Nick had so many jobs like you, Steve.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I mean he's got the mass sing a while and out,
- 37:00Speaker 1: he's got a radio show. He's coming out with a
- 37:02Speaker 1: new talk show. Now I see why yeah, yeah, to
- 37:06Speaker 1: support these children. Ay why just talented? Well, of course
- 37:11Speaker 1: he's talented. I love Nick Cannon, love him. That's gonna
- 37:15Speaker 1: be an enjoyable process th kids. Yeah, enjoying Nick a
- 37:19Speaker 1: set of twins with Mariah Carey. I mean, it's gonna
- 37:22Speaker 1: be a great dad. So, you know, yeah, he said
- 37:25Speaker 1: it was intentional on his part. That's interesting as well.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Say that now, yeah, yeah, and there and children are blessing.
- 37:34Speaker 1: We got to say that as well. So congratulations, congratulations, congratulations, congratulations, congratulations.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Time yeah, time seven. Y'all got a lot in common
- 37:44Speaker 1: over all. Y'all both got a set of twins both,
- 37:48Speaker 1: you know, that's about it. You have seven children. Talk show,
- 37:56Speaker 1: talk show, radio show, radio show, radio radio show. That's
- 38:01Speaker 1: about it, wild wild and sometimes about it. Yelp all that.
- 38:12Speaker 1: But I mean Eddie Murphy has what ten he has
- 38:16Speaker 1: ten children? Yeah, he has ten. So I mean I
- 38:23Speaker 1: haven't heard anything. I haven't heard anything from Nick other
- 38:27Speaker 1: than you know, this statement that he said he's fully
- 38:29Speaker 1: aware of the situation and that all these children were
- 38:33Speaker 1: intentional on his part. So yeah, he alently can He's
- 38:39Speaker 1: got a lot of YEA God doesn't make mistakes, absolutely not,
- 38:43Speaker 1: absolutely no. M hm. So how many ques you grab?
- 38:46Speaker 1: Man three? Grown out in the house again, congratulations going
- 38:59Speaker 1: out in Nick Cannon coming up in thirty four minutes
- 39:02Speaker 1: after the hour. I don't know if you guys have
- 39:04Speaker 1: seen this, but we're going to talk about it. The
- 39:06Speaker 1: slave master themed engagement photos that are trending. They are circulating.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Wait until you hear about this right after this. You're
- 39:15Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This story right here, guys,
- 39:22Speaker 1: an interracial couples slave master themed engagement photos are making
- 39:26Speaker 1: their rounds across the internet and social media. Now, just
- 39:30Speaker 1: have you seen these? Have you seen these? All? Right?
- 39:34Speaker 1: In one picture a black man, You've seen it, Steve.
- 39:37Speaker 1: In one picture, a black man appears to be dressed
- 39:40Speaker 1: in slave clothing as he hovers over to plan a
- 39:44Speaker 1: kiss on his white wife, who's wearing a pre Civil
- 39:48Speaker 1: War style dress. He put some burlapo In a few
- 39:54Speaker 1: of the slave like photos, it looks like the couple
- 39:56Speaker 1: is standing on a sugarcane plantation where the black groom
- 40:01Speaker 1: is pictured shackled in chains. Okay, I mean this is
- 40:07Speaker 1: just so bizarre, so strange. We don't know. They tried
- 40:11Speaker 1: to create a storyline for the photo shoot, which is
- 40:15Speaker 1: of course insensitive, aunt racist, both of those things. They
- 40:19Speaker 1: added this caption eighteen forty two days passed and everything changed.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Our love got stronger and stronger. He was no longer
- 40:28Speaker 1: a slave, he was part of the family. Wow, that's
- 40:34Speaker 1: supposed to make those pictures better. It's to meet to me,
- 40:37Speaker 1: it's the same process as being again without that that
- 40:40Speaker 1: company they'll put out racist pictures and then they'll apologize
- 40:44Speaker 1: from so now they're getting depressed with talking about it,
- 40:47Speaker 1: and then they'll probably apologize later run. So it's all
- 40:49Speaker 1: about just getting people to see it. But this is
- 40:52Speaker 1: like the dumbest thing ever at what costs. It's come on,
- 40:57Speaker 1: It's it's a testament to the ignorance of both of them.
- 41:05Speaker 1: It's ignorant on her part to want to even portray
- 41:11Speaker 1: her potential husband that way. It's ignorant on her part, Aunt.
- 41:18Speaker 1: But I'm more disappointed than help I got her coming
- 41:23Speaker 1: from her forefathers with slave on us I got it,
- 41:26Speaker 1: but yours were slaves, and to make light of it,
- 41:29Speaker 1: like you fallen in love with this slave master? Are
- 41:33Speaker 1: you kidding me? Man? The thinking of your stupid ass
- 41:39Speaker 1: to want to call this white woman your master and
- 41:43Speaker 1: then for her to be okay, we're calling her black
- 41:48Speaker 1: ass man her slave. Both your sick ass families, and
- 41:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you one other thing. I bet you
- 41:56Speaker 1: both their families was going, are they crazy? Have they
- 42:00Speaker 1: lost a rabid ass mind? No one stopped the comments
- 42:05Speaker 1: that were posted, Steve. They were saying they were even
- 42:08Speaker 1: mad at the cameraman for taking these pictures. Why don't
- 42:13Speaker 1: we just go ahead and make him a slave for
- 42:15Speaker 1: sixty day. Let's go on, put him through the course,
- 42:18Speaker 1: put him through it, put him through it. Whoop that ass,
- 42:20Speaker 1: all of that. Let's put him through it. Since he
- 42:23Speaker 1: thinks he wants to be a slave, let's go. It's
- 42:26Speaker 1: so beyond the realm of even understanding the atrocity of
- 42:32Speaker 1: what that really was the greatest atrocity against mankind for
- 42:40Speaker 1: four hundred years. This and the Holocaust were the two
- 42:46Speaker 1: greatest atrocities against all of mankind. Nothing compares to these
- 42:51Speaker 1: two things here, nothing but the amount of time that
- 42:56Speaker 1: we were slaves this country right here, with this constitution
- 43:02Speaker 1: right here. Man missed me, and you stupid black ass
- 43:08Speaker 1: thought this was good to do. Proclaim your proclaim your
- 43:13Speaker 1: love for the master. Man got he was part of
- 43:22Speaker 1: the family. What I mean, make this make sense? Why
- 43:27Speaker 1: they did it? First of all, he did it because
- 43:32Speaker 1: he has no pride or sense of self or dignity.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Let's star wars him. He has none of that. His
- 43:42Speaker 1: identity is wrapped up in whiteness, his accepted of whiteness.
- 43:48Speaker 1: That he was a slave and this master would take
- 43:50Speaker 1: him in. That's his whole idea. This whole thing is
- 43:53Speaker 1: his black ass fault. I ain't eve mad a white girl,
- 43:57Speaker 1: you black stupid all right, listen, coming up next, we're
- 44:02Speaker 1: moving on. It's getting tense up in here. We're moving on.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Coming up next, the nephew and the prank phone call.
- 44:08Speaker 1: I want to right after this. You're listening to the
- 44:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of
- 44:17Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my Strawberry

- 44:24Speaker 1: Oh no, oh no she did. We'll get into it.
- 44:28Speaker 1: That mean a lot, right why we have the let
- 44:31Speaker 1: us those four little words, you know, a whole lot.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Oh she's so died? Did it? We'll get into it
- 44:38Speaker 1: in just a bit, but right now it is time
- 44:40Speaker 1: for the prank phone call with the nephew. What you
- 44:43Speaker 1: got for us today? Now? Your son peed in the pool?
- 44:49Speaker 1: Oh no, he didn't. Let me text some time. One
- 44:54Speaker 1: more time. I'm going to say that again. I said,
- 44:56Speaker 1: y'all son pee in the pools and manna last Yeah,
- 45:08Speaker 1: let's go catch off. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach it.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Yes, I'm trying to reach Anastasia.
- 45:15Speaker 1: This is she? How you doing? Listen? I'm Glenn the
- 45:18Speaker 1: lifeguard over here at the pool here in the apartment complex. Yes, sir,
- 45:23Speaker 1: do you have a you have a son named yes, sir? Everything?
- 45:29Speaker 1: Uh yeah, yeah, everything is fine. I mean a quick question, man,
- 45:33Speaker 1: we got a situation here with what's we're not we're
- 45:37Speaker 1: not gonna be allowed to uh to let him swim
- 45:40Speaker 1: here at the pool and the complex anymore. What we
- 45:43Speaker 1: got him from me? Your son? I mean, he swims
- 45:48Speaker 1: here pretty much every every every other day. You know,
- 45:50Speaker 1: I'm always here seeing him swim. But it seems like
- 45:54Speaker 1: is you know, we've been trying to figure out who
- 45:56Speaker 1: it is. You'll your fun keep peeing in the pool.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Slam ain't fool, ma'am. I don't want to get into
- 46:04Speaker 1: it with you, your son, And so we finally narrowed down.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Your son is the one that's pining in the pool
- 46:09Speaker 1: every day, and you know it's really a bad thing. Uh,
- 46:12Speaker 1: we can't continue to keep letting them come over here.
- 46:14Speaker 1: We gotta ban him from the pool. My son don't
- 46:17Speaker 1: pin pool. We ain't nash it like this. Did you
- 46:20Speaker 1: check them to be? He's gonna say it's my song?
- 46:23Speaker 1: And then the pool? Well, your son is the one
- 46:25Speaker 1: to be making faces and stuff, and I know that's
- 46:27Speaker 1: what he's doing here in their pin. Your son is
- 46:29Speaker 1: the one that's pinned making faces. He'd be making faces,
- 46:34Speaker 1: so I know he in their pen. That got to
- 46:36Speaker 1: do with them. We shn be making faces? Come too
- 46:40Speaker 1: with something you're gonna say in the pool? Got he
- 46:43Speaker 1: making face? I'm not gonna go like that. I teach
- 46:46Speaker 1: my kids better than that. He ain't no pool, Hey lady,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I'm not gonna All I'm saying is he can't come
- 46:52Speaker 1: over here and swim anymore. He's banned from the pool
- 46:55Speaker 1: until we rectify this problem. When he gonna be in
- 46:59Speaker 1: the pool and we all pool, we are gonna be there.
- 47:02Speaker 1: And that's a mind remain of fact. I'm thinking I'm
- 47:05Speaker 1: kids to the pool. No, we don't a man, I'm
- 47:08Speaker 1: not gonna city and go back and forth with you all.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you it was just right here.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Your son has been paying in the pool. My boss
- 47:15Speaker 1: wants me to bear him. If he's not the one,
- 47:17Speaker 1: then we will allow him to come back later. But
- 47:19Speaker 1: right now with singling people out and your son, you know,
- 47:23Speaker 1: it just seems like he's the one that's doing it.
- 47:25Speaker 1: What's your name? Was? My name is Glenn. I'm Glenn
- 47:29Speaker 1: the lifeguard. That's who I am. Now what's the real name? Then?
- 47:34Speaker 1: But I was supposed to be calling me. You ain't
- 47:35Speaker 1: got a little bit the kind of I'm talking about
- 47:37Speaker 1: my son, No, fool, how you neverthing to give I'm
- 47:41Speaker 1: not at liberty to give my lad's name. The bottom
- 47:44Speaker 1: line is we can't run in the bottom What but
- 47:47Speaker 1: you don't live the don't But you can't give me
- 47:50Speaker 1: all the name? Okay, listen, I'm not all I'm supposed
- 47:53Speaker 1: to do is call you, gonna let you know that
- 47:55Speaker 1: we're banned in your son from getting in the pool.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Once you're talking about you can't bad my playing the
- 48:01Speaker 1: life board, get a real job, a summer job. Did
- 48:05Speaker 1: you got a job? And I call him? You said him,
- 48:09Speaker 1: you know what, you ain't goody and you can't stop
- 48:11Speaker 1: nobody who's come next pool? And we're gonna be damn
- 48:14Speaker 1: though tomorrow again. And if you did do your job
- 48:20Speaker 1: between that man, let me say this to you. If
- 48:22Speaker 1: your son comes to the pool tomorrow and get in
- 48:25Speaker 1: the pool, I'm snatching your son out of the pool.
- 48:27Speaker 1: I bless you. I wish you would because you don't
- 48:31Speaker 1: need a lifeguard. You seat trying a pool. I wish
- 48:35Speaker 1: you would. What kind of problem upen? At ten o'clock,
- 48:39Speaker 1: we're gonna be there nine Saturday. You got me up?
- 48:43Speaker 1: Come out? You gonna snatch my son out of pool? Yeah? Mine?
- 48:48Speaker 1: Nobody pool? Yea mine, ladies. The problem is I've heard
- 48:53Speaker 1: has been singled out all the other kids, appointing us
- 48:56Speaker 1: and saying he's the one that's doing it. Your son
- 48:58Speaker 1: is the one that's being humble, he's clearing whatever whatever
- 49:04Speaker 1: for Right now, all I'm asking you is is keep
- 49:06Speaker 1: your son away from the pool for the next two
- 49:08Speaker 1: weeks if we fell, not that that's not him. Will
- 49:10Speaker 1: allow him to come back. Okay, ain't me. He ain't
- 49:13Speaker 1: saying away pool for two weeks. If you do, he
- 49:16Speaker 1: gonna come back and do some mostion pool. I'm gonna
- 49:18Speaker 1: telling the whole two weeks with them and go back
- 49:21Speaker 1: to that talking about my son to pool. You can
- 49:23Speaker 1: tell about his faith. You said what you said, he
- 49:28Speaker 1: fo life? You wo the pool? You know so fine.
- 49:34Speaker 1: You must not know what you're talking to. I will
- 49:36Speaker 1: be there and that to model me and I don't
- 49:38Speaker 1: fight my kids. And then I was in the pool too.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Don't do nothing. Hang a little kids go without getting
- 49:44Speaker 1: him in the pool. Let me tell you something. Don't
- 49:46Speaker 1: you bring them kids over there and bring them in
- 49:48Speaker 1: the pool. No, none of your children. I don't give it.
- 49:51Speaker 1: And what you say, you don't run life guard. Get
- 49:55Speaker 1: rid of John. Lady. Listen, lady, I'm not gonna go
- 49:58Speaker 1: continue to go back and forth. I got one more
- 50:00Speaker 1: thing I need to say to you what I'm done. Okay,
- 50:02Speaker 1: one more thing that I'm done. You ain't got to
- 50:04Speaker 1: say to me. I do I want thing I do
- 50:06Speaker 1: need to say to you what you about to say
- 50:08Speaker 1: to me? I need to say this. This is left
- 50:11Speaker 1: you Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 50:15Speaker 1: got Frank from your home boarder. You hello, kid, look man,
- 50:28Speaker 1: look it up you timmy doctor man. You want to
- 50:32Speaker 1: get this like this? Y'all play too much. Ye'all know
- 50:37Speaker 1: y'alla play too black, no play for nothing. I'm walking
- 50:41Speaker 1: towards to them now. I thought you was coming to
- 50:45Speaker 1: the pool tomorrow. I was coming to the office today
- 50:48Speaker 1: and they stay it was opening the five cock. I'll
- 50:50Speaker 1: to tell me, I'll call my files myself in the pool.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I was gonna come. Now, take care of them kids, baby.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I got one more thing. I got to ask, what
- 51:00Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the land? Give it
- 51:10Speaker 1: to him? Okay, first of all, before I ask you
- 51:11Speaker 1: awesome questions, give me my accolades. Give him to him.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Give him. I especially like that one because I can
- 51:19Speaker 1: relate to it, you know what I mean. And that
- 51:22Speaker 1: leads me to my question, Jake, how many times, let's
- 51:25Speaker 1: just say your adult life, huh, that you have peed
- 51:28Speaker 1: in the pool? Oh, Tommy, every time I'm in there,
- 51:37Speaker 1: tip it's a badge. Of honor? What's going on? I
- 51:45Speaker 1: go just but the best place to pe is from
- 51:48Speaker 1: the high Ask if you ever be the triple Lindsay?
- 51:57Speaker 1: Is that an Olympic sports should have been? Check? So okay, okay,
- 52:05Speaker 1: So Shirley, do ladies like not pee in the pool?
- 52:10Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just asking that. Okay. Sure, have you
- 52:12Speaker 1: ever pee in the pool? Sure? Yeah? When I was younger, yes,
- 52:16Speaker 1: I did so. So Shirley, you ain't been twenty plus
- 52:20Speaker 1: twenty plus to nine, ain't Shirley. Stop. As hard as
- 52:26Speaker 1: it is to get out all wet and everything, it's
- 52:29Speaker 1: just gross to me. I don't do it. I'm sorry,
- 52:32Speaker 1: you know what, Shirley. I feel like it's a hazard
- 52:34Speaker 1: to to get out and almost and almost slipp and
- 52:38Speaker 1: fall and go all the way to the back. I
- 52:40Speaker 1: think it's just a hazard. Now now, what I've learned
- 52:44Speaker 1: is not to pee in the pool. But when I
- 52:45Speaker 1: get out and I'm walking around and water dripping on me,
- 52:51Speaker 1: then that's when you you pe in. Okay, not a
- 52:56Speaker 1: whole pavement. They're getting it. I've never heard of that.
- 53:04Speaker 1: That's just that is if you're smiling in the pool
- 53:07Speaker 1: and nut swimming, Okay, it's a lot of chlorophyll in there.
- 53:12Speaker 1: It's supposed to. Can you pee in the pool and
- 53:15Speaker 1: look directly at somebody and have a conversation with what
- 53:18Speaker 1: you do? All right, nephew, thank you? Coming up next

- 54:06Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, Thank you, nephew. Subject, Oh No she didn't.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm in my late thirties and I
- 54:13Speaker 1: found out that my husband of ten years has a
- 54:15Speaker 1: girlfriend on the side. I've been tracking his car for
- 54:18Speaker 1: months and he picks her up from work, takes her
- 54:21Speaker 1: to dinner, and then comes home. I even know where
- 54:24Speaker 1: she lives, and I've sat outside her house and blew
- 54:26Speaker 1: the horn and waved at her. She knows who I am,
- 54:30Speaker 1: so it's odd that she's never mentioned anything to my husband.
- 54:34Speaker 1: A few weeks ago, I noticed a change in my
- 54:36Speaker 1: husband's pattern. He stopped picking her up from work, so
- 54:40Speaker 1: I thought they had broken up. I sat outside her
- 54:43Speaker 1: house and saw a different man leaving out, and she
- 54:46Speaker 1: was in a robe at the door. She noticed my
- 54:48Speaker 1: car and threw a finger sign at me. Oh no,
- 54:51Speaker 1: she didn't. I was beyond mad, but couldn't do a
- 54:55Speaker 1: thing because she might have a gun. As you can
- 54:58Speaker 1: probably tell, I don't care about my husband cheating because
- 55:01Speaker 1: I barely have sex with him anymore, but in the
- 55:04Speaker 1: few times I do, I don't want him giving me
- 55:06Speaker 1: any kind of cooties that she may have given him.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I don't like that she's giving it up to other
- 55:14Speaker 1: men besides my husband, because that's just nasty. I did
- 55:19Speaker 1: not go back to her house because I don't want
- 55:21Speaker 1: any problems, but I did notice that my husband still
- 55:24Speaker 1: sees her. I have tracked him for so long, and
- 55:27Speaker 1: I finally decided to tell him about it. I told
- 55:30Speaker 1: him He's been followed, track spied on, and everything else.
- 55:34Speaker 1: He tried to lie and defend himself, but I told
- 55:36Speaker 1: him there was no way to fix this. I let
- 55:39Speaker 1: him know that the bigger problem is that his girlfriend
- 55:42Speaker 1: is bound to give him a disease sooner or later
- 55:45Speaker 1: because she's fooling around with other men. He said, I'm crazy,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and he brought up divorcing me so much for trying
- 55:51Speaker 1: to help him and keep him safe. How can I
- 55:55Speaker 1: fix this? This is a crazy letter right here. This
- 56:01Speaker 1: letter makes no sense. Why do you think you have
- 56:05Speaker 1: to fix this? You can shut it down or threaten
- 56:08Speaker 1: their lives and stop it, but your husband should be
- 56:11Speaker 1: the one to quote or unquote fix it. I mean,
- 56:15Speaker 1: this is a mess he created, and that's for your
- 56:18Speaker 1: husband to do if it is at all fixable, and
- 56:21Speaker 1: it doesn't look like it is. He's already thrown around
- 56:24Speaker 1: the D word talking about divorce and what kind of
- 56:29Speaker 1: marriage is this anyway? I mean, he is a side
- 56:32Speaker 1: chick who you know about, and you say you don't
- 56:34Speaker 1: care about him anyway, and you don't have sex with him. Really,
- 56:38Speaker 1: all you're concerned about is him bringing home a disease
- 56:41Speaker 1: In those rare times you do have sex with him.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Of course that's a valid concern, But you know, you
- 56:47Speaker 1: don't have to stay in this loveless marriage and worry
- 56:50Speaker 1: about his side chick having a gun if you roll
- 56:53Speaker 1: up on her. You don't have to stay in this.
- 56:56Speaker 1: You don't have that to worry about. You're a miserable,
- 56:58Speaker 1: he's miserable. The only one who seems to be, you know,
- 57:02Speaker 1: having any fun in this thing is the side chick.
- 57:06Speaker 1: You know, she's with your man, she's with other men.
- 57:09Speaker 1: She's giving you the finger, flipping you off. So again,
- 57:13Speaker 1: what is there to fix in all of this? I mean,
- 57:15Speaker 1: your marriage is a sham, it's unhappy, and you and
- 57:18Speaker 1: your husband don't even like each other. You all don't
- 57:21Speaker 1: even like each other. I mean, surely you don't want
- 57:24Speaker 1: to spend another ten years of your life in this mess.
- 57:28Speaker 1: So how can you fix this? It sounds unfixable to me.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I mean, there's no mention of love. There's no mention
- 57:35Speaker 1: of anything in here that would make me think that
- 57:38Speaker 1: you know that's what you want to do save your marriage,
- 57:41Speaker 1: and certainly your husband doesn't feel that way either, Steve,
- 57:46Speaker 1: I just see so much in this letter, writer. Yeah,
- 57:52Speaker 1: the title of the letter. Oh no, she didn't. What
- 57:57Speaker 1: just lady, did you listen to your letter when you
- 58:01Speaker 1: wrote it? Did you read back through it? Did you
- 58:04Speaker 1: not know that when Shirley got through giving you her advice?
- 58:10Speaker 1: Didn't you know I was gonna get this letter and
- 58:13Speaker 1: I was gonna do something. I'm in my late thirties.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I found out my husband of ten years has a
- 58:20Speaker 1: girlfriend on the side. I've been tracking this car from months.
- 58:24Speaker 1: He picks her up from work, takes her to dinner,
- 58:26Speaker 1: then comes home, comes home to what no hell, no fury,
- 58:34Speaker 1: no notes, no, no, no car windows, no, no pausing
- 58:39Speaker 1: in the food. No, and you ain't trying to stab him?
- 58:44Speaker 1: He come home and then y'all, y'all what nothing? I
- 58:51Speaker 1: even know where she lives. And I've set outside of
- 58:54Speaker 1: her house and blew the horn and waved at her.
- 58:58Speaker 1: What is you waving at her? Full? Why did you? What?
- 59:04Speaker 1: Why are you outside this woman out blowing her horn,
- 59:07Speaker 1: waving at her? She knows who I am. So it's
- 59:14Speaker 1: odd that she's never mentioned anything to my husband. What
- 59:20Speaker 1: that's your concern? It's odd to me that she's never
- 59:26Speaker 1: mentioned anything to my husband. Wait a minute, that's the
- 59:32Speaker 1: odd part. Women. You didn't see nothing odd about him
- 59:37Speaker 1: picking up her from work and taking her to dinner,
- 59:40Speaker 1: then coming home and you letting him live. Then you
- 59:44Speaker 1: didn't think it was odd that when you blew the
- 59:47Speaker 1: horn and you waved at her. She ain't come out
- 59:51Speaker 1: on y'all talk. She knows who I am, so as odd.
- 59:56Speaker 1: She never mentioned anything to my husband. A few weeks ago,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I noticed a changing my husband patterned. He stopped picking
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: her off from work, So I thought they broken up. Oh,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I said, our house and saw a different man leaving,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: and she was in the row at the door. She
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: noticed my car and threw up a finger at me.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Oh no, she didn't. What hold on, we'll have her
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: after the hour today's Strawberry letter subject don't know she didn't.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter subject.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Oh no, she didn't. Just one of the dumbest letterators
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: we hadn't hand. Oh no, she didn't. Don't found out
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: your man got a husband, got girlfriend for ten years
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: on the side, and he picked off from work, take
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: her to dinner. Then he come home without any consequences none,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: He just come home. I even know where she lives.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: And I've said outside her house and blew the horn
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: and waved at her what issue, waving at her phone.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: She went on back in the house, so she knows
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: who I am. So it's odd that she ain't never
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: mentioned anything to excuse me my husband, your husband, it's
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: odd that she ain't mentioned nothing to him. I can't
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: believe you ain't saying nothing to us, an, I really can't.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: What kind of sister are you? It don't even get
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: no better than this letter. A few weeks ago, I
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: noticed a change in my husband's patterned he stopped picking
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: her from work. So I thought they had broken up. Oh,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I bet you was relieved about that. You didn't have
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: to go tracking no more. Oh but I sat outside
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: us house and I saw a different man leaving out
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: that she was in the road at the door. She
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: noticed my car. Threw up a finger side in me.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Oh no, she didn't. You man at her throwing up
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: at the finger at you skip the fact that your
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: husband been picking her up, taking her to dinner. Screwing huh?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: And the part you mad at is she had on
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: a robe and threw a finger for you at the dope.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: She said. I was beyond mad, but I couldn't do
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: anything about it because she might have a gun. Oh
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: on top of all this, Now, you scanned boy, you
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: live in shame and fear. As you can probably tell,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I don't care about my husband cheating because I barely
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: have sex with him anymore. Still but barely have sex,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: but in a few times I do. I don't want
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: him giving me any kind of cooties that she may
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: have given him. Listen to this next ignorant ass line.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: I don't like that she's giving it up to other
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: men besides my husband. What what did you just type? Lady?
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: You you you you really type this to some people.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I mean, you know, if you're telling it to somebody,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: I could see somebody going, what did you just say?
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: But when you type it that takes an extra level
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: of concentration, and then you press sin you send it
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to us. I don't like that she's giving it up
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: to other men besides my husband, because that's just nasty.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Can I tell you something in this letter, man, This
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: lady is mad at all the wrong stuff. You're just
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: mad at everything the wrong. Damn. Wait. Look I did
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: not go back to her house because I don't want
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: any problems. All the problem is at your house. The
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: cooties is at your house, the cheetah is at your house.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: But I did notice that my husband still sees her.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: What I have tracked him for so long. I finally
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: decided to tell him about it, and I told him
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: he's been followed, track spied on everything else. He tried
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: to line and defend himself, but I told him there
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: was no way to fix it. He ain't trying to
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: fix it. I heard in your letter where he trying
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: to fix it. I let him know that the bigger
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: problem is whoa, whoa. There's a bigger problem than your
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: husband cheating on you, taking another woman to dinner then
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: coming home to you. Here's the bigger problem is that
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: his girlfriend is bound to give him a disease sooner
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: or later because she's fooling around with other men. Now,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I bet Dada hurt your ass. He said, I'm crazy.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: He's righting, and I brought it and brought up divorcing
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: me so much for trying to help him. Wait, wait, whoa, lady,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: what did you just say so much for trying to
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: help him? What are you trying to help him for?
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: What are you trying to help him? Do so much
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: for trying to help him and keep him safe? How
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: can I fix this? Wait a minute, let me make
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: this perfectly clear. You're a fool. You're a fool. How
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: can I fix this? What are you trying to fix
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Why are you trying to help him? He ain't trying
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: to fix it? But see you mad at all the
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: wrong things? Lady? You mad because he picked up and
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: you ain't you mad? You ain't mad because he pick
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: up from work and take her to dinner and then
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: come home. You ain't mad at that. You you really
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: mad at that. It's odd she ain't never mentioned to
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: her husband that you blow the horn and wave at her.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: You what you mad at is she came to hord
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Dog after another man left with a robe on and
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: she threw a finger up at you. That's what you
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: mad at. And you mad at your husband because you're
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: trying to help him. Man Cabou, you are a fool
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: and you should stop being a fool. You a fool
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: for him, and he ain't crazy about you. I don't
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: know why you want this man as your husband. I
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: don't know what it is you call yourself trying to fix.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: You have nothing to fix. You've told this man he
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: cheats on you, he told you you crazy, and he
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: brought up divorce. Now you want to fix it, to
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: go back into what lady, Stop being a fool. Stop
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: being a fool. Let this man go. All right? Thank you, Steve.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Look leave your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter and Instagram,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: at and Facebook, and at Steve Harvey FM. Check out
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand as well. We'll be
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: after this you're listening to. A Houston hospital has its
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: first case of the Lambda variant of the coronavirus, but
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: public health experts say it is still too soon to
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: tell whether the variant will rise to the same level
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: of concern as the delta variant currently raging across the US.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: About eighty three percent of COVID nineteen cases in the
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: US are from the Delta variant, and the vast majority
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: of hospitalizations are among unvaccinated people. That's according to the
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Lambda variant on
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: the other hand, has been identified in less than seven
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: hundred cases in the US, but has been labeled as
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: a variant of interest. Studies suggests that the vaccines currently
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: currently authorized for use in the US are highly effective
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: at preventing severe COVID nineteen symptoms. And we all know
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: this and deaths across multiple variants, getting vaccinated still remains
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the most important factor in stopping the virus deadly effects
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: and slowing down new variants. Now here's a question for you, guys.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Do you think we're headed toward another lockdown, another mask
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: mandate because there's still a lot of people shot. Listen
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: to me, I have made the final decision. I'm going
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: to encourage black people to get this vaccination. Stop calling
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: me and telling me your theories of why you don't
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: think we should. Let me give you a couple of
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: key people in my life. My in laws got vaccinated.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: They're in their eighties. They just celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: They contracted COVID from their living from their from their
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: nurse that comes to their house every day. The doctors
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: told them, and everybody knows it is because of their
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: pre existing conditions. Had they not been vaccinated, they wouldn't
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: have been celebrating their sixtieth wedding anniversary that they just
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: celebrated last week. A very good friend of mine who
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: works for me, who was in his forties, did not
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: get the vaccine was put in quarantine for ten days. Today,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: after twelve days of quarantine, he was admitted to the hospital.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I am praying for him. His words to me was, man,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I wish I had got that vaccine. I am telling
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: you all, folks, I don't care what the theories are.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You should go and get vaccinated. It is proven that
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: it lessens the symptoms to the point where it doesn't
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: get severe. But everybody that I know that has not
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: taken the vaccine has suffered, and I know some people
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: who are not here anymore. Now. If you're willing to
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: take that chance, go ahead, but you may pass on
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: this virus to somebody that you really don't want to lose,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: who may not be as strong as you. So I
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: am suggesting to all people to go and get your vaccination. Period.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Black people are dying twice as much, and we are
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: suffering from severe conditions three times as much. All right,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I mean well, said Steve coming up more of the
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right. The creative director
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Tokyo
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: was fired yesterday. This is one day before the event
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: is set to take place, so much as going on
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: in Tokyo right now. His name is Kintaro Yobu Yashi.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: He had previously been a member of a popular popular
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: comedy duo. He was terminated after a video of a
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: comedy routine he performed back in the nineties surface in
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: which he appeared to joke about the Holocaust. We found
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: out that mister Yabu Yashi, in his own performance has
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: used a phrase ridiculing a historical tragedy, said the Olympic
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Organizing Committee President. We deeply apologize for causing such a
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: development the day before the opening ceremony and for causing
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: troubles and concerns to many involved parties, as well as
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: the people in Tokyo and the rest of the country,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: he added. Uh Kobe Yashi's dismissal is the latest in
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: a series of high profile firings and resignations of officials
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: involved in the Tokyo Games. So yeah, he's done, he's done.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I'm kind of on the fence here. Yeah, I wanted
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: to ask the comedian. I mean, oh my god, man,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: who was this guy? Probably not as knowledgeable, probably wasn't
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: where he was where he is in life now. Yeah,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I mean, look, people, you gotta get saved from something,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: you know, and you're losing your job, just person. You know,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: if he apologizes said, hey, look man, I was younger
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: than I was, on the wrong side of the thought process.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: You know, that's not how I feel today. Oh my god,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: is something I would never say today. And you guys,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: especially as comedians. So yeah, I mean we talk about
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: this a lot on and off the air. You know.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Are there some things, some subjects that you shouldn't you know,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: touch upon. Are there things that are off limits? You know,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: sometimes you would think the Holocaust was one in Jay.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: There's a lot of la there's a lot of things.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Go ahead, tell me, I'm I mean, I'm back on stage.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: There's a lot of things you're scared to talk about,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you know, you because of the climate, Because of the climate.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: You know, you guys know we did it on this
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: show for years. I did Eugene. I loved it. I
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: love a character. It was fun to do it. It's
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: a scary thing to do now you I'm afraid to
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: do it. I think I'm on I think I'm going
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: to offend somebody, so I just don't do it. I
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: think it was I think that character was completely harmless
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: because we never you never made any sexual references, you
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: never made any sexual derogatory remarks. You just use a
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: humorous voice tone. And for us to have to stop
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: doing that for safety purposes, what's just ridiculous, man. But
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: it was just ridiculous for safety purposes. That's the thing
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: where you have to yourself for me. You can't ask
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: me about Steve Harvey, Tyler Perry or Tim Journa. I
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: don't have not a damn thing to say. They all
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: put money in my pocket, so I ain't got no jokes, Okay, none,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: not at all, not a one, not none. So that's
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: what's off limits for you. It's what you're saying. Yeah,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: but you know, look, I mean it used to be
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: nothing was off limits, right except for your own personal preference.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Like I never used the P word on stage, nor
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: have I we used the N word on stage now
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: in my personal life. Being honest, that inn word flies around,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: whether profusely, but out on stage. No, man, it's not
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: for general consumption amongst me and the dudes I come
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: up with. That's a different turn. Yeah yeah, but now
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: you can't say it, no bet. All right, we're moving on, guys.

- 1:19:37Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour when we get back
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: here we are at the end of the day for
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: our anyway. Yeah, it's the last break of the day.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: A long work of week, a long work of week
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: that we put in, and here we are now we
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: can rest on our laurels. I'm all all the work
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: we did through the entire week. You come here so
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: less that you don't even know that the phrase ain't
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: a long work of week. It's a long week of
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: work and came often. You know the order and which
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: there slogan it said. But you want to come in
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: on the back end of the damn week, so you
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: don't know what the hell the work was. But I'm
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: I can just say this, I'm just as tired. I'm
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: just this tired. Wow. From from what Jay I mean
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: as well, it worked all week, I might as well
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: because I'm just a damn tired wow. Thank you Saturday. Hey, y'all, Uh,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: let me say this to you as a closer remark.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I don't know how long I can talk on this subject,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: but I try to feel some time. Hire, But you
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: can't afford not to chase your dreams. You can't afford
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: not to chase your dreams. I know exactly how it
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: feels to want something, to not know how to go
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: about attaining it, but yet and still still wanted. I
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: know what that feels like. I know what it feels
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: like to have an idea of how to get it,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: but it seems so far away that it seems like
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you ain't gonna ever get there. I know exactly what
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: that feels like. I know what it feels like to
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: have no idea whatsoever, what to do next, what's my move?
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: What should I do? I understand exactly how that feels.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I understand exactly what it feels like to want to
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: chase something and have no idea what to chase should
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: be about. Okay, so I'm clear on all those fronts.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something. You do know, you really do.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: You've just given up on the hope of it. You've
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: just stopped the pursuit of you, stopped thinking that it
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: could possibly be a reality. But you do know what
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you want to chase. You do know what you could
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: be if there was no way for you to fail.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: What would you be? You know exactly what that is.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: But What you can't do is you can't life. You
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: can't let this thing called life beat you up and
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: make you give up or stop the pursuit of it.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Because I have news for you. This thing called life
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: is gonna keep on coming. It's never ending. It's a
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: learning experience until you leave this world, all of us,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: no matter who you are, no matter what place you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: in in life. The Bible says, a man without a
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: dream or vision shall perish. We are all in pursuit
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: of something or should be, and if you're not, you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: need to be. You cannot afford not to chase your dreams,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: because what's the alternative of not chasing your dreams? What
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: is that? Man? What is this settling for mediocrity? What
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: is that about? What is just going along with it
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and seeing how I go? What is that about? Or
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: should I ask you the question? How does that feel?
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: But then again I can relate because I know how
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: that feels too. I would rather chase my dreams and
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: be on the constant hunt for him than to never
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: ever expose myself to them, never ever pursue them, and
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: wonder what should or would have could have been my
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: whole life. I'm not gonna do that. I'm gonna get
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: after it, and I'm asking you to do the same.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Get after it. You ain't gonna want to be rich.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: That don't ever have to be your dreams. Maybe you
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: just want to have a better life. Maybe you just
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: want to be able to take care of the necessities
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: in life. Okay, cool, I got that. Maybe you can't
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: see nothing else for yourself, but you see something for yourself,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: and you got to start the pursuit of it. Come on, y'all.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Success is not fame or money. Success is living in
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: your God giving gift to its fullets. That's what success
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: he is. Success ain't how far you've come, but how
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: far you've come from where you started. That's what success is.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: A lot of you have experienced success, but you're so
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: wrapped up in where you not that you forgot where
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: you started from, and that where you are such a
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: big jump from where you was that you don't forgot that. Hey,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: my friend, you are already successful. So sometimes you got
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: to stop and give yourself a little handclap. Now every
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: now and then, you got to stop and pat yourself
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: on the back, because I got you may not be
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: where you want to be, But how about the fact
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: that you ain't where you was. Now I'm asking you,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: I'm imploring you, and I'm there. I'm asking you to
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: consider this now. It don't make no sense not to
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: chase your dreams. It don't make no sense to be
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: mediocre when you could be something else. Look, you ain't
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: got to be Oprah. You ain't got to be Michael Jordan.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: You ain't got to be Tiger. You ain't got to
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: be Michelle Obama. You ain't got to be Brock. You
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: ain't got to be none of them people. But how
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: about if you just turned yourself in the best you
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: that you could be. Man, do you understand the gratification
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: that comes with that? Do you understand the warmth that
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: you would have just to be able just to take
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: your kids shopping every now and the end to the
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: mall Fellas, just to be able to take your family
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: to McDonald's, down to the playground area, you know, let
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: your kids do something like that. It ain't got to
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: be something spectacler, make small, intricate goals, reach inch by inch.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: Anything's a cinch. But in the meantime, you need to
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: start thinking about that big pitch of them dreams. It
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: don't make no sense not to chase your dreams because
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: being mediocre it ain't no way to live. I wouldn't
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: done it. It ain't no way to live. All right now,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I talk to God about all of this. Get some help,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: get some counseling. We'll see y'all tomorrow. Talk to God.
