- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth mount turn then a.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Look, come on, come on you.
- 2:01Speaker 7: Huh, I sure will. Hey, good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 7: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 7: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I've been saying
- 2:12Speaker 7: it like that since I got it too. All right,
- 2:16Speaker 7: got a good one for you today. Yesterday the other day,
- 2:19Speaker 7: I was talking to you about the most effective weapon
- 2:22Speaker 7: available to us as human beings, I think is prayer.
- 2:25Speaker 7: I think prayer helps us in so many ways. But
- 2:29Speaker 7: right now, what I want to do is I want
- 2:32Speaker 7: to show you how prayer pays off. I want to
- 2:36Speaker 7: show you what good it can do for you. Even me,
- 2:38Speaker 7: I use it every day, and the days I don't
- 2:42Speaker 7: use it, I feel it that that, you know, the
- 2:45Speaker 7: days that I go, you know, without talking to him
- 2:48Speaker 7: as much, I notice it.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I feel it. I feel a.
- 2:51Speaker 7: Certain kind of way, you know, those that doubts starts
- 2:55Speaker 7: slipping in again. That uneasy feeling of uncertainty slips in again,
- 3:00Speaker 7: and that wondering what I'm gonna do starts slipping in again.
- 3:03Speaker 7: Happens to me, happens to everybody. Man, I think, I really,
- 3:06Speaker 7: really do you know, if people will just keep it
- 3:08Speaker 7: real with each other, stop being this Christian this superman,
- 3:13Speaker 7: because you ain't you ain't. There's a scripture that says
- 3:17Speaker 7: that's none perfect, no, not one, and that's everybody that
- 3:24Speaker 7: cover all of us thought it. So sometimes I think
- 3:27Speaker 7: we're a little too hard on each other with that too,
- 3:30Speaker 7: Seeing that's how we not perfect. We immediately want to
- 3:33Speaker 7: just just oh man, you just want to kill when
- 3:37Speaker 7: we find somebody do something wrong. Bell If we go public,
- 3:40Speaker 7: everything go public now it called social media. But anyway,
- 3:43Speaker 7: I just want to talk to you about how prayer
- 3:46Speaker 7: pays off. It's called it all eye and money. People
- 3:50Speaker 7: got money, call it all eyes. So return on investment.
- 3:54Speaker 7: People always looking for a return on investment. You know, nobody,
- 3:57Speaker 7: nobody in business really gives you money without understanding the
- 4:01Speaker 7: return on investment. They don't even give money to charities
- 4:06Speaker 7: unless they think it can do something with the bottom line.
- 4:09Speaker 7: A lot of companies work like that. I found out
- 4:11Speaker 7: out myself. Sad, but it is true. So since everything
- 4:16Speaker 7: is expected to work on a return on investment, I
- 4:19Speaker 7: assume because we're human beings. So since we are human beings,
- 4:22Speaker 7: whether you're in business or not, you still in the
- 4:26Speaker 7: business of living. I think when you pray, you should
- 4:31Speaker 7: expect a return on your investment. You talk to him,
- 4:36Speaker 7: you spend time opening up to him, You bowed your
- 4:40Speaker 7: head to him, you humbled yourself, you got on your knees.
- 4:45Speaker 7: I mean, but really we talking God here. So really,
- 4:47Speaker 7: what you're doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with you.
- 4:50Speaker 8: A little bit that you do do on his behalf,
- 4:53Speaker 8: it just pales in comparison with what he does.
- 4:56Speaker 7: But let's just say you want to call yourself invested, well,
- 5:00Speaker 7: let me show you how it pays off. This because
- 5:02Speaker 7: see for me, this is for me now, prayer pays
- 5:06Speaker 7: off in different ways. That's what I had to learn. See,
- 5:09Speaker 7: I was praying, but I was asking him specifically for
- 5:12Speaker 7: what I wanted. I had the audacity, though, to turn
- 5:16Speaker 7: around and tell him how to do what I wanted.
- 5:19Speaker 7: That's amazing.
- 5:20Speaker 9: Man.
- 5:20Speaker 7: I can't tell you how many blessings I block come
- 5:22Speaker 7: in my way by putting my faith in what I
- 5:26Speaker 7: said I wanted and how I wanted him to do it.
- 5:29Speaker 7: I want you to give me this. I want that
- 5:32Speaker 7: person to go away. I want this person to accept
- 5:36Speaker 7: everything you say. Then I want to go over here
- 5:39Speaker 7: and I want this deal to happen like this, and
- 5:41Speaker 7: I want that person to just step aside and let
- 5:45Speaker 7: me through. And then I want that I was I
- 5:47Speaker 7: had it mapped out. God must have been chuckling really hard.
- 5:52Speaker 7: He had been good. Boy, I made you to be funny.
- 5:54Speaker 7: But boy, you funny now. So you're gonna tell me
- 5:56Speaker 7: how to do it. And you've all heard this right here.
- 5:59Speaker 7: If you want to make God laugh telling me your plan, well,
- 6:02Speaker 7: that's what I did. And that's how we pray. A
- 6:04Speaker 7: lot of times we pray, and we pray. In the prayer,
- 6:08Speaker 7: we're telling him how to work it out. Well, here's
- 6:12Speaker 7: a deal. This is what I've learned. Prayer pays off
- 6:15Speaker 7: in different ways. There's a different return of my investment
- 6:18Speaker 7: when I pray. See, sometimes when I'm praying for something,
- 6:23Speaker 7: a situation to dissolve itself or go away, sometimes I
- 6:28Speaker 7: get courage out of the prayer. Prayer provides me courage.
- 6:33Speaker 7: That's just to go on and look at it. I
- 6:37Speaker 7: guess face it.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Then.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation, sometimes prayer gives
- 6:46Speaker 7: me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just I look up
- 6:50Speaker 7: and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes prayer gives you
- 6:54Speaker 7: laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you just got to
- 6:58Speaker 7: laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it?
- 7:04Speaker 8: Do you know what that is? If you could do that?
- 7:08Speaker 5: You know.
- 7:09Speaker 8: Sometimes it gives you a show of strength power.
- 7:14Speaker 7: Sometimes prayer allows you to have the appearance that you
- 7:18Speaker 7: got it all together. Nobody got to know the world
- 7:22Speaker 7: wining the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in your life.
- 7:26Speaker 7: You standing over that like the eye. The hurricane just
- 7:28Speaker 7: and it's all swirling around you. But you standing there
- 7:31Speaker 7: like the eye, you just as calm. That's what prayer does.
- 7:35Speaker 7: So when you pray, man, it builds up a lot
- 7:38Speaker 7: of things in you. You know what it's done for me.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Prayer has built up character in me. It's made me
- 7:44Speaker 7: have more character because I'm able to stand stronger on
- 7:48Speaker 7: the things I say because I've been praying, because I've
- 7:52Speaker 7: been asking God for all of those return of investments,
- 7:55Speaker 7: I've been asking God for courage. I've been asking God
- 7:59Speaker 7: for hanging that. I've been asking him to give me
- 8:01Speaker 7: the power to walk away. I've asked him to give
- 8:04Speaker 7: me ignored power. I've asked him to help me laugh
- 8:07Speaker 7: it off. I've asked him to show me strength. But
- 8:09Speaker 7: you know what I was doing, I was really praying,
- 8:11Speaker 7: not really for them things.
- 8:13Speaker 8: Be real with you. I was asking him to help me. Lord,
- 8:16Speaker 8: help me.
- 8:17Speaker 2: You ever done that?
- 8:18Speaker 7: You have asked God for help, and then all of
- 8:20Speaker 7: a sudden, the list of these things show up. See,
- 8:23Speaker 7: sometimes how you want the problem to be solved ain't
- 8:25Speaker 7: the best way. There's a lesson to be learned when
- 8:28Speaker 7: we make mistakes. And sometimes you got to stay in
- 8:30Speaker 7: that fire and you got to learn that lesson. But
- 8:33Speaker 7: guess what, though, when you come out of it, you're
- 8:36Speaker 7: gonna be better for it. You gonna know more about it.
- 8:39Speaker 7: Come on, y'all, pray. He's solid. His word is true,
- 8:42Speaker 7: It lasts forever. He do what he said he gonna
- 8:45Speaker 7: do now all day, all night, twenty four seven. He
- 8:50Speaker 7: do it all day, all night, and then some more.
- 8:53Speaker 7: His word don't ever change.
- 8:54Speaker 8: It's true. It works for me. It worked for you.
- 8:58Speaker 7: It worked for Jake's, It works for Old Steam. It
- 9:01Speaker 7: worked for Kirk Franklin. It worked for Paula White, It
- 9:05Speaker 7: worked for Billy Graham. It worked for Mother Teresa. It
- 9:09Speaker 7: worked for Gandhy, It worked for the Princess Arabs. It worked, man, it.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Worked for you.
- 9:17Speaker 2: What you're waiting for? Why don't you put praying your game?
- 9:21Speaker 2: Watch what happened to you?
- 9:22Speaker 7: You sitting in that jail cell and you struggling with it,
- 9:25Speaker 7: and they telling you blood in, blood out, you can't
- 9:28Speaker 7: get in you. That's foolishness, man, What you mean God
- 9:31Speaker 7: can get you out of anything. Look, man, if you
- 9:34Speaker 7: done read your Bible, he'dne got some people lot some
- 9:36Speaker 7: sticky situations. I don't know what you're talking about. If
- 9:38Speaker 7: Daniel was in the lions den and Jonah was in
- 9:41Speaker 7: the belly of the whale, what you're talking about?
- 9:43Speaker 5: Where you are?
- 9:43Speaker 7: You just sitting in the cell with some dudes around,
- 9:45Speaker 7: You're talking about what they gonna do? Man, you got
- 9:47Speaker 7: to be real. God can't nothing to do nothing. Nobody
- 9:50Speaker 7: can't nobody do nothing to you. God won't give you
- 9:53Speaker 7: the strength to handle prayer change his things.
- 9:56Speaker 10: Man, you're listening, Morning.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Rise and shine, give yourself that stretch, that moaning you own,
- 10:05Speaker 6: and you sit on the edge of the bed, you
- 10:07Speaker 6: think the man, and then you got to do what
- 10:08Speaker 6: you got to get out and get something. It is

- 39:16Speaker 12: recently had a tryst with an unnamed X and she
- 39:20Speaker 12: regrets it ever happened. She said she wished she had
- 39:24Speaker 12: more willpower. Hoda is single and dating now after ending

- 40:35Speaker 3: she ain't reading nothing. She ain't know nothing. I had
- 40:38Speaker 3: to usually have to give the newspaper. Just read this
- 40:40Speaker 3: article and let's just discuss it. Because other than being yeah, no, no,
- 40:44Speaker 3: other than you just being fine, you have nothing to

- 41:16Speaker 3: Because she's fine? What you mean over there, say, jigga,
- 41:21Speaker 3: don't judge me.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Don't judge you asked.
- 41:24Speaker 1: The question about she can't.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Place.
- 41:27Speaker 3: She has nothing to talk about.
- 41:30Speaker 6: You're not talking this for a moment, junior. You just
- 41:34Speaker 6: do it and don't make eye contact. This is just
- 41:35Speaker 6: for a moment.
- 41:39Speaker 3: When you sit up there and look at somebody and
- 41:41Speaker 3: all they's just saying she's fine, though I thought so fine.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Don't you don't it, don't it, don't it, don't it,
- 41:48Speaker 3: don't it, don't supply everything?
- 41:50Speaker 2: She just fine.
- 41:51Speaker 3: But I swear to God, she didn't know nothing was
- 41:53Speaker 3: happening in the world.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Nothing do it all for me. I'm just telling you,
- 41:58Speaker 2: I just I don't know this one over here.
- 42:01Speaker 4: You need to watch.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Trying to put the disclaim up because you didn't marry

- 42:15Speaker 6: Come on over here, come on, girl, get you some.
- 42:26Speaker 1: You got you got socks?
- 42:27Speaker 2: Now, Yes, you do hush up.
- 42:30Speaker 1: That North, but you regret it now.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Like holder, it's yeah. That feeling afterwards is like I
- 42:44Speaker 2: had no business doing that.
- 42:47Speaker 1: So then what do you what?
- 42:48Speaker 11: What is?
- 42:49Speaker 2: What do you do after that? You know, I'm looking
- 42:52Speaker 2: for my shoes and my shirt. I'm trying to get about.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Okay, you know what makes it?
- 42:58Speaker 3: It's the phone call after because we don't know what
- 43:03Speaker 3: to say each other after we know we had no
- 43:04Speaker 3: business doing it.
- 43:06Speaker 2: But when they called and asked you, like, so what
- 43:09Speaker 2: we're doing now, we're not doing the damn.

- 43:40Speaker 8: We did to you.
- 43:41Speaker 3: No wow, oh wow, Okay we should have did this
- 43:47Speaker 3: in the first place. We got back together.
- 43:49Speaker 1: No, just because she was fine that made you do it?
- 43:53Speaker 2: All right? All right?

- 44:29Speaker 6: You know, when people pass away, I just truly believe
- 44:33Speaker 6: that they ought to be buried or not buried, but
- 44:37Speaker 6: they should have their funeral wherever they hung out the most.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying, wherever they hung out
- 44:45Speaker 2: the most?
- 44:46Speaker 3: What?
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yeah? So, I mean, I mean, think about it this
- 44:51Speaker 2: right here.
- 44:54Speaker 6: Choppa dye So since Choppa dyed, choppap was always at
- 44:57Speaker 6: the closet, you know what I'm saying, So we should
- 45:00Speaker 6: have Chopper's funeral at the club, don't you think, Well,
- 45:05Speaker 6: that's what chapel was. That's where people knew him from.
- 45:08Speaker 6: People knew Chopper from the club. Why would we not
- 45:11Speaker 6: set up some tables and set up some chill and
- 45:13Speaker 6: bring the casket in there and have cho the.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Club at the club. Ain't nobody doing that? We're find
- 45:21Speaker 2: to do it right now. This is Chopper's funeral at
- 45:24Speaker 2: the club.

- 45:50Speaker 6: I know they supposed to have the funeral and stuff
- 45:51Speaker 6: over at at my Baptist church. And uh, I don't
- 45:56Speaker 6: really know you, but me and me and Choppa and
- 45:58Speaker 6: a bunch of rest those man when you used to
- 46:00Speaker 6: hang out at the club not too far from the house,
- 46:03Speaker 6: you know, that's pretty much where Chopper was all.
- 46:05Speaker 2: The time at the club.
- 46:07Speaker 6: Anyway, what a bunch of us was over at the
- 46:09Speaker 6: club talking, man, and I was we was really want
- 46:12Speaker 6: to reach out to one of the family members, you know,
- 46:14Speaker 6: And then somebody said you was, you know, kind of
- 46:16Speaker 6: a good friend of his, and we we we we
- 46:20Speaker 6: decided to call you and see if you didn't mind.
- 46:23Speaker 6: Do you think that you can talk to uh some
- 46:28Speaker 6: of the family members and see if they don't mind
- 46:32Speaker 6: having the funeral.
- 46:34Speaker 13: At the club at the club.
- 46:38Speaker 2: See what, let me let me try to explain something
- 46:40Speaker 2: to you, Jane. What we're trying to do is.
- 46:43Speaker 13: See, we believe that we believe you said at the club,
- 46:47Speaker 13: come on the club funeral, And that's what I understand it.
- 46:52Speaker 6: But see, see Choppel Chop ain't really go to church
- 46:56Speaker 6: a whole lot. You know what I'm saying, He ain't
- 46:57Speaker 6: really really go along as I've been knowing.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Now he loved the Lord and stuff like that, clayl.
- 47:03Speaker 13: But these are church going folks, fer I understand.
- 47:07Speaker 6: But see Chapel wouldn't Chapel when Chapel went to the club.
- 47:11Speaker 6: So what I'm asking you is, let's have the funeral
- 47:14Speaker 6: at the club.
- 47:16Speaker 9: Hell, no, bro, come on, we can't have no funeral
- 47:19Speaker 9: at no club.
- 47:20Speaker 13: Man, Come on, No, no, I can't.
- 47:23Speaker 6: But but what what I'm saying is dog is that
- 47:25Speaker 6: he wasn't really he wasn't really no church going person.
- 47:30Speaker 6: I believe that a person ought to be uh the
- 47:34Speaker 6: last words are to be said over him in a
- 47:36Speaker 6: place he's more familiar with.
- 47:38Speaker 13: You know what I'm saying, A player? Player, No, I don't.
- 47:41Speaker 13: I don't know what you mean. No, just just gotta
- 47:44Speaker 13: be a funeral. This is this is church, for I
- 47:46Speaker 13: go to church and all my folks go to church.
- 47:48Speaker 13: Now we got to this sing up in church. This
- 47:50Speaker 13: this is a church thing.
- 47:51Speaker 6: But you don't, you don't feel But do you understand
- 47:53Speaker 6: where I'm coming from? Know, there a man ought to
- 47:55Speaker 6: gone on and the last words are to be in
- 47:58Speaker 6: a place he more familiar with.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Now, if he went to church, then I understand that.
- 48:02Speaker 13: You said, oh bro, hell no, no, See it's his
- 48:05Speaker 13: chance to get itself right. And we don't.
- 48:08Speaker 9: We don't have them up in church in front of everybody.
- 48:11Speaker 13: You know, that don't make sense. Who's this again?
- 48:14Speaker 9: I mean, who are you?
- 48:16Speaker 2: My name is Gerald, but.
- 48:17Speaker 13: Who is Gerald?
- 48:18Speaker 7: I mean?
- 48:18Speaker 3: How do you?
- 48:19Speaker 13: How do you relate to this? Are you a preacher?
- 48:21Speaker 13: Or are you not?
- 48:22Speaker 5: No?
- 48:23Speaker 6: You no, no, no, no, I'm I was friends with
- 48:26Speaker 6: Chopper and see I hung out at the club and
- 48:28Speaker 6: still hang out there with a whole bunch of you know,
- 48:31Speaker 6: was real good friends with Chopper, and we were saying that,
- 48:34Speaker 6: you know, Choppers, the last words about Chopper or to
- 48:38Speaker 6: be said at the club, because see that's what Chopper was.
- 48:41Speaker 2: But five six days a week, that's what Chappa was.
- 48:44Speaker 13: Yeah. But what church are you affiliated with?
- 48:46Speaker 5: I mean, what? What?
- 48:47Speaker 13: Why the hell would I I try to talk to
- 48:50Speaker 13: the family, make me look stupid in front of the family.
- 48:52Speaker 13: Telling them to put this thing in the club.
- 48:54Speaker 9: How is that gonna go off?
- 48:56Speaker 2: Well? See, see, that's what I'm saying. You know them
- 48:58Speaker 2: way more than we do, because.
- 49:00Speaker 13: You're talking about trying to move from a damn funeral
- 49:03Speaker 13: at a church to a damn nightclub or a strip
- 49:06Speaker 13: club or something.
- 49:06Speaker 2: No, no, no strip club, just a nightclub.
- 49:10Speaker 13: I mean, you're talking about maving folks travel from across
- 49:14Speaker 13: the country and meeting in the damn club.
- 49:17Speaker 9: What kind of that.
- 49:18Speaker 2: But that's what chaper was. That's what Chapel was.

- 49:24Speaker 9: ruted to the damn.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Club, You're gonna look like somebody that's trying.

- 49:32Speaker 5: Come to the damn funeral.
- 49:33Speaker 9: If I was to do something like that, Okay, okay.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Let me ask you this hit in.
- 49:37Speaker 6: Let me ask you this here, Jane, do you think
- 49:40Speaker 6: do you think you can maybe get the body and
- 49:43Speaker 6: bring it over to the club. Now, well, just saying
- 49:48Speaker 6: before they even do the funeral or.
- 49:50Speaker 13: Whatever, Hell no, I ain't touching getting to walk in
- 49:54Speaker 13: the dog by myself. Don't touch this body for hell.

- 51:21Speaker 9: front of town, y'all call the falling, y'allseelfing do this.

- 53:49Speaker 1: We really could.
- 53:50Speaker 10: And you never know.
- 53:51Speaker 1: This one right here could be yours if we read
- 53:53Speaker 1: it on the air.
- 53:53Speaker 8: You don't know.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:56Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry.
- 54:00Speaker 11: I thank you.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Nephew.
- 54:03Speaker 12: He needs new underwear is the subject. Okay, he needs
- 54:06Speaker 12: new underwear. Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband is very particular
- 54:10Speaker 12: about all of his things. He had a professional organizer
- 54:14Speaker 12: come and do his side of the closet, and I
- 54:16Speaker 12: had to have a tantrum to get him to pay
- 54:18Speaker 12: to get my closet done. I'm so glad we have
- 54:21Speaker 12: separate closets because with my busy schedule and a newborn,
- 54:25Speaker 12: I don't have time to keep my closet neat like his.
- 54:28Speaker 12: My husband has a shopping addiction too. When he goes to.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Hang with his boys, he needs a new shirt, or
- 54:34Speaker 1: a new jogging suit or new dress. Pants.
- 54:37Speaker 12: I have asked him a million times if he's really
- 54:40Speaker 12: going to hang with his friends because he is dressed
- 54:42Speaker 12: so nicely.
- 54:43Speaker 1: He has a thing about his underwear too.
- 54:46Speaker 12: There is only one designer that he will wear, and
- 54:49Speaker 12: they're expensive. They are made of buttery soft, of a
- 54:55Speaker 12: buttery soft blend of silk, and I wear the panties
- 54:58Speaker 12: by the same designer. I have given him the underwear
- 55:02Speaker 12: as a gift, but every time I turn around, he's
- 55:05Speaker 12: buying more. I wash and fold all of his clothes,
- 55:08Speaker 12: and I've noticed that his underwear goes missing. If I
- 55:11Speaker 12: ask him about the underwear, he gets defensive and asks
- 55:15Speaker 12: why I'm taking inventory of his underwear. It's what a
- 55:19Speaker 12: wife does, and I do it with my children's clothes too.
- 55:22Speaker 12: If things are tattered, I throw them away and buy
- 55:24Speaker 12: them some new ones. But my husband cannot tell me
- 55:27Speaker 12: why his underwear keeps disappearing. He lied and said they
- 55:31Speaker 12: shrink or they nip when I wash them, they rip
- 55:34Speaker 12: when I wash them. As much as he pays for
- 55:36Speaker 12: his underwear, they should last fifty years before they shrink
- 55:42Speaker 12: or tear up. He just asked me the other day
- 55:44Speaker 12: to order him six more T shirts and six pair
- 55:46Speaker 12: of underwear. If he was cheating or leaving his underwear
- 55:49Speaker 12: at someone else's house, why would he ask me to
- 55:53Speaker 12: order him more? Can you tell me how his underwear
- 55:55Speaker 12: keeps disappearing because he can't?
- 56:00Speaker 1: Okay, honestly, I don't know why his underwear is missing.
- 56:03Speaker 1: I really don't.
- 56:04Speaker 12: I can't answer you. The only thing I can think
- 56:07Speaker 12: of is that he is leaving them somewhere. We all
- 56:10Speaker 12: lose things.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Yeah, we lose our keys, we lose our.
- 56:14Speaker 12: Wallets, we lose our socks in the laundry, etc. But
- 56:18Speaker 12: very seldom do we lose our underwear.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Very very seldom do we do that.
- 56:23Speaker 12: First of all, the underwear has to be off of
- 56:25Speaker 12: our bodies to actually lose them, So it does make
- 56:29Speaker 12: you think he's leaving them somewhere, like at another woman's
- 56:32Speaker 12: house or something.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Okay, why else would he get so defensive when you
- 56:36Speaker 1: ask about them?
- 56:37Speaker 12: You deserve answers, And of course they shouldn't tear up
- 56:40Speaker 12: so easily if they're that expensive. I love how he
- 56:43Speaker 12: tried to blame you and say you damage them when
- 56:46Speaker 12: you wash them. None of this, what he's talking about
- 56:49Speaker 12: is adding up a lot of wives. Monitor they wash,
- 56:53Speaker 12: they take care of and buy their husband's underwear so
- 56:56Speaker 12: he can lose the attitude. I say, stop buying new
- 57:00Speaker 12: ones until he tells you the truth about what's really
- 57:02Speaker 12: going on with his missing and dwindling underwear. There's definitely
- 57:07Speaker 12: more to this story. Somebody's lying and it's him, Tommy.
- 57:11Speaker 6: Is he The three things that could possibly be happening
- 57:14Speaker 6: because I've I've been on that side where I've been
- 57:18Speaker 6: coming up short with my draws.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Okay, I've I've been there myself.
- 57:23Speaker 6: First is one, there's a possibility that your husband is
- 57:28Speaker 6: a stripper and you don't know that, you know, because
- 57:33Speaker 6: I mean that happens.
- 57:34Speaker 2: I'm like, like, I mean I had my spell. I
- 57:37Speaker 2: did a year, So what what I mean?
- 57:42Speaker 6: I don't There's certain things I don't want to discuss,
- 57:45Speaker 6: but I mean I did a year, okay, And you know.
- 57:52Speaker 2: You heard me.
- 57:53Speaker 1: What was your stripper's name?
- 57:55Speaker 2: Stri me? Stripper Tommy Strimey.
- 58:01Speaker 6: So you know people tear your draws off, you know,
- 58:04Speaker 6: I used to get my draws to all the time.
- 58:06Speaker 6: Doesn't mean that happens. That happens. So that's a possibility
- 58:10Speaker 6: that that's what's going on. Your husband could possibly be
- 58:13Speaker 6: a stripper and women do that, but they just you know,
- 58:16Speaker 6: they get carried away when they go see these men stripping.
- 58:18Speaker 2: They tatty draws off. I mean, it happens off the time.
- 58:20Speaker 1: So uh, that's one thing speaking from experience.
- 58:25Speaker 2: I'm speaking from experience. Okay. And then and then y'all,
- 58:28Speaker 2: I mean, y'all didn't That's just something y'all didn't know
- 58:30Speaker 2: about me. I used to strip. Okay, let's get past
- 58:33Speaker 2: that part. Just get past it.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Okay, we need a minute, get past it. Well, first
- 58:37Speaker 1: I want you to.
- 58:38Speaker 6: Quit vigitalizing me, because that's what y'all trying to do
- 58:40Speaker 6: is vializes.
- 58:41Speaker 2: Stop, it's not what you're doing. Okay. Now here's the
- 58:44Speaker 2: second thing. And I used to do this too.
- 58:47Speaker 6: It's possible that he is a magician and he making
- 58:50Speaker 6: his draws disamaining.
- 58:53Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I used to do that.
- 58:54Speaker 2: I could make you I did a year.
- 58:59Speaker 6: I did a year, and I would I would make
- 59:07Speaker 6: my draws disappear, you know what I'm saying. It happens, right,
- 59:10Speaker 6: and you know I could pull the rabbit out the
- 59:13Speaker 6: hat and all that. But my closing was when I
- 59:16Speaker 6: made my drawer disappear. It was just amazing.
- 59:18Speaker 2: That was my That was my Yeah, that was my clothing.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Now late, I want you to listen to me, so
- 59:23Speaker 6: those two things can happen or this last one. And
- 59:29Speaker 6: I hate to say it, but because I don't want
- 59:31Speaker 6: nobody to take my idea. But it's it's possible that
- 59:36Speaker 6: he is making a draws quilt. That's what he could
- 59:41Speaker 6: possibly be doing, is making a draws quilt.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Quilted draws.
- 59:48Speaker 6: I mean, it's just it's a beautiful thing when you
- 59:50Speaker 6: have just patches and patches of draws, quipped quilted draws. Yeah,
- 59:56Speaker 6: and that, and you're talking about this is nice fabric
- 59:59Speaker 6: and all this and so quilted drawls.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: I mean, it's one of those three. Don't don't don't
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: get so excited about it. Oh that's I have. I
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: have a quilted drawls I have.
- 1:00:10Speaker 12: All Right, we're gonna have part two of the Strawberry
- 1:00:13Speaker 12: Letter coming up.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: We got to hear from Junior.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: You don't you don't hear from me.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: I probably don't want to make twenty.
- 1:00:18Speaker 12: Three minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry Letter subject he
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: needs new underwear.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: We'll get back into it, right after.
- 1:00:24Speaker 12: This, you're listening hard morning show. All right, it is
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: time now to recap the Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: We got to do this, uh.
- 1:00:35Speaker 12: Subject, he needs a new underwear now. This was written
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: by a woman whose husband, she says, is very particular
- 1:00:41Speaker 12: about all of his things. He had a professional organizer
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: come in and do his closet, all of this. He
- 1:00:48Speaker 12: likes when he goes out with his friends, he has
- 1:00:50Speaker 12: to have new clothes, new dress pants, new jogging suits,
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: you know, all of this, new shirts, all of that
- 1:00:57Speaker 12: when he hangs out with his boys. And you know,
- 1:01:00Speaker 12: she's getting a little suspicious because why does he have
- 1:01:03Speaker 12: to dress so nicely just to hang out with the boys.
- 1:01:06Speaker 12: And the one thing that's really getting to her is
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: that his underwear seems to be disappearing, and he wears
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: very expensive underwear. She knows because she wears her underwear
- 1:01:16Speaker 12: from this. She buys her underwear from the same designer.
- 1:01:19Speaker 12: But they keep coming up short, they keep missing, and
- 1:01:22Speaker 12: he keeps asking her to buy him new underwear. And
- 1:01:26Speaker 12: she's getting worried because, you know, as the woman of
- 1:01:28Speaker 12: the house, she kind of monitors, you know, and make
- 1:01:32Speaker 12: sure they're okay, not tattered, and all of that and
- 1:01:35Speaker 12: if they need new when she replaces them. But he's
- 1:01:37Speaker 12: asking her much too frequently because they're expensive, and she
- 1:01:42Speaker 12: wants to know. He tried to blame it on her.
- 1:01:44Speaker 12: He said he didn't know, he got an attitude when
- 1:01:46Speaker 12: she asked him.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: He said, well, maybe you wash it. You know, when
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: you wash him, they rip and all of that.
- 1:01:51Speaker 12: So she wants to know if he's cheating or leaving
- 1:01:54Speaker 12: his underwear at someone else's house, and why does he
- 1:01:57Speaker 12: keep asking her to order him more? You know, I said, yeah,
- 1:02:01Speaker 12: he could be very well be cheating leaving them someplace else.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:02:06Speaker 12: Strawmy also known as Tommy, said that it could be
- 1:02:10Speaker 12: one of.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Tommy. That's what that stands for, straw Me.
- 1:02:15Speaker 12: He can be a stripper, a magician, or making an
- 1:02:19Speaker 12: underwear quilt thow.
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: That is.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: And then now starting time to hear from Junior. What
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: you got Junior?
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: First of all, Uh, yeah, don'g see. You know, I
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: got draws I've had, you know, for a very long time.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: They get washed and I put them back in the drawer,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: and you know, but it's the type of draws I
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: have probably you know.
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: First of all, Uh, what draws are made of? Buttery
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: soft blend of silk. I don't know them, buttery. I
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: don't even know what draws these is. Now here's what
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: the other problem I have too, Shirley, my wife and
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: I cannot have both buttery silk does I don't know
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: who that is. I don't want to have the same
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: draws on that my wife has on in the same
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: texture because I can't feel like the man of the house. Father.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Now now let me tell you something. Now, I don't
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: care where they missing that that's got nothing to do
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: with it. My prime is I'm a man, okay, and
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: being a man, I may have to fight at any moment.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Now I realized this, I cannot win the fight. Fill
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: in buttery.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Can't bothering you?
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Okay, I can't win, you know. See he ain't underwear.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: Were talking about draws, these draws? Sure say, I don't
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: want no buttery silk soft blend of buttery because if
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: I'm swinging and I'm fighting, I can slip out my pants.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: Now I'm out here, not out here with my paint now, Couse,
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: my draws is buttery silk, and I'm fighting. Boy, Now
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: I don't even know it because I got a buttery
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: silk blind.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Now now, now about losing the fight. They laughing at me.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: I can't do it. See, uh, that's why I like
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: fruit of the loop. Let's just go ahead and get
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: them a butter butter.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: They know when you look at them, when you look
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: at the commercial of fruit, look, the fruits was fighting.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: See that's the one.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: That's why I bought them, because they fight.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: The fruit.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: The grapes was fighting. Everybody saw this.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: The apple, the apple was fighting. You know, everybody knew that.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: That's why I got them. They spoke to me, buttery
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: soft silkle blend. Me and my wife got the same
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: draws off. They don't speak to me. I can't tell
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: her to go make me some coffee, and she got
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: the same buttery silk on I got. Can't force her
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: to make dinner. She got the same buttery soft silk
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: on I got. Now I'm in the kitchen cooking because
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: we got the same buttery silk softness butter.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Now you're talking about what paying.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: To forget that.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: We don't know where they're going. But I know that
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: we we cannot, we cannot have the coexistence. If I
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: can't tell you, you know, I try to you know,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: I try to pull her stuff and do this stuff
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: and do this all tuckle with her, and then she
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: do it to me too, and I'm not winning. I'm demasculated.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Nobody wants buttery silk.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: As a man.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: I'll tell you right now.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Pull our whole, pull our whole, a network, pull everybody
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: and say hey, man, do you want butter and silk?
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: Draw and it's probably gonna come back two percent. Oh,
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: just pull up. Yeah, he the only one that want
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: buttery silk. I guarantee that's it.

- 1:10:05Speaker 12: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 1:10:07Speaker 12: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:15Speaker 12: All right, guys, this person needs some advice. This is
- 1:10:18Speaker 12: from Anonymous and Lansing. Anonymous says, I've been in a
- 1:10:21Speaker 12: relationship with my boss for three years. He was engaged
- 1:10:25Speaker 12: when we met, so he chose to be with me
- 1:10:28Speaker 12: and broke things off with his fiance In December, he
- 1:10:31Speaker 12: sat me down and admitted that he still loves his fiancee.
- 1:10:36Speaker 12: I was heartbroken. He split his time on Christmas Day
- 1:10:39Speaker 12: with me and her. He was with me for New
- 1:10:42Speaker 12: Year's Eve, so that gave me hope. I love him
- 1:10:45Speaker 12: and have invested three years into getting to know him.
- 1:10:48Speaker 12: If we break up, I will have to find a
- 1:10:50Speaker 12: new job. Do I help him decide by leaving him
- 1:10:54Speaker 12: or wait to see if he chooses me again?
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: What you didn't got in a bad situation? This's your job,
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: that's how you eat. This is not good at all,
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: Yes it is.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: I think.
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: Uh, you got to ride this out a little more
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: and try to find you a job while you're riding
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: it out. Cause way, when you jump ship, at least
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: you're gonna land on your feet. But you need to
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: try to start start looking for a job. Stay there,
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: don't leave, Stay there. Let's get this job. Yeah, you
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: need to secure a job, then you can leave. But now,
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: if he's splitting time between you and somebody else, ain't
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: now one of y'all really mean anything to him.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: She definitely can't wait.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: I already love.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Well. First of all, Shirley Carla, I am disappointed in
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: Tommy's answer. I just because it was because it was
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: ready to love.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: It was not time, and.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: It made it made sense. But since I have a
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: TV show and not only ready to this is my answer.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: I just cannot stand ungrateful. Number twos. I just thought,
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: I don't. I can't believe you over here writing us
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: about what you need to do. You need to stay
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: there and you know what you need to do over time.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: You know you own a job. You got it.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Okay, Now you're ungrateful because he split time between you.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: On New Year's Eve, he was there. He just wasn't
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: there at midnight, but he was there. Now, the best
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: thing I can suggest you do is, uh, don't wait
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: for him to choose you. Just clock in at nine
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: when it's time to go to work. Just be there.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: You be fine, you gonna get your check, You're gonna
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: get everything. Just be there now here it is you
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: complain it to us because you have a man that
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: had that employed you, and he your boss for three years,
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: three years he been your boss. You ain't just find out.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: It's three years he been your boss and you've been
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: knowing about this girl. Now he broke off the fiance
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: for you, but it's not her fiance no more. Now
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: he just had two women, and you just um grateful
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: because he told you the truth. See that's what number
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: two is on his stay. We told you the truth.
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: Just accept the true and console me while I'm trying
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: to figure out what I'm doing. Number one, I need
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: you to do a lot.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: If you're asking a lot, console me.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: I told you I broke off the marriage. Now trying
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: to figure out what I'm gonna do with her while
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: I'm talking to you.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Oh you ungrateful.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: She got a case she might go to h You
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: need a TV show.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: We're gonna take this down to the people. They already busy.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: This ain't enough.
- 1:13:30Speaker 12: You can give a good answer like Tommy. All right,
- 1:13:33Speaker 12: moving on, we do have time for one more. This
- 1:13:36Speaker 12: is from Dennis and Cherry Hill. Dennis says, my wife
- 1:13:39Speaker 12: has a very sensitive stomach and she passes a lot
- 1:13:41Speaker 12: of deaths in her sleep.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: That is a total turn off.
- 1:13:45Speaker 12: And when she wakes up early in the morning warning
- 1:13:47Speaker 12: sexy time, I cannot get in the mood I had
- 1:13:51Speaker 12: to finally tell her why. She said, If I really
- 1:13:54Speaker 12: love her, that should not matter.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: I already know Tommy ain't with this. Oh, sure to
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: the doctor.
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: You gotta do something. You gotta do something. I don't
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: care about her being sleep shirt. She didn't even Okay, well, look,
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: don't go to sleep till I go to sleep. Let
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: me go to sleep first, let me get let me
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: go down first. But then but with all this you're doing,
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: that's too much. You're doing, weigh too much by I
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: can't stay. I'm not staying in that room.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: But you love her, right, you love her?
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: No, I got some conditions. I'm sorry.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: That's not what the bow say.
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: I know what the bowels didn't know that this was
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: gonna come up. Hello, and in health shall not do this?
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: Why I am sleep? Now?
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: That what? All right?
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: Guys?
- 1:14:50Speaker 12: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we will
- 1:14:52Speaker 12: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:14:56Speaker 10: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:15:01Speaker 12: So Reese Witherspoon created quite a stir on social media
- 1:15:05Speaker 12: over the weekend after she posted a video making an
- 1:15:07Speaker 12: iced coffee concoction out of fresh snow from her yard.
- 1:15:12Speaker 12: She put some salted caramel syrup in there. She put
- 1:15:15Speaker 12: some chocolate syrup and cold brew coffee. Comments flooded in
- 1:15:19Speaker 12: about the uncleanliness of the snow and the danger of
- 1:15:22Speaker 12: eating it, and this inspired Reese to make another.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Video to defend herself.
- 1:15:26Speaker 12: Reese laughed at the idea of the fresh snow making
- 1:15:29Speaker 12: her sick, and she said she grew up drinking water
- 1:15:32Speaker 12: from a water hose in the yard and she survived that.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: She said there was no filtered water back then. Okay,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: leave me alone now on.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: This show, have drunk out that water hose, all of us.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I hate snow when I was lit up her Chicago, right,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: we ate dirt.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: So.
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: All of that.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Remember that guy made dirt and dirt not hurt.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Or if you drop something on the ground, dog devil,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: all of that.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but we were children, yes, not roll full of
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: dolce as actresses in movies. Yeah, that's truth.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Making a Starbuck snow confident.
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, we're not doing No, you had me hello. I
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: saw it in the movie. You had me at Hello.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: That wasn't her, all.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: Right, No, that was crazy saying it to her.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: She acted thought she was a white girl straight. You
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: don't know your.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:16:37Speaker 12: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming

- 1:16:58Speaker 3: Be please?
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: We would love yeah, but my wife just you can't
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: get it off in reality show.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: We do both of my house. My husband come in now?
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: What happened to our girl?
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Right here? What's coming in?

- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: Not to do the fake meat and the beans. You

- 1:19:10Speaker 12: Would you rather be six four and really really funny looking,
- 1:19:15Speaker 12: or would you rather be five five and handsome?
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Tell me already?
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Did I know I'm handsome. I'm trying to bend six
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: and funny? Look, So what.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: You can tell him? I said he's sick something and
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: funny looking. Y'all won't tell him to his faith. I
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: tell him to him for y'all know he's sick something,
- 1:19:42Speaker 6: funny looking.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: I know you look about funny look, Okay, I.

- 1:20:09Speaker 2: Yeah, man, January is gone, y'all.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Alrighty say that, it's just the twenty second Stop saying that.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Then it'll be a lot eight days that left.
- 1:20:19Speaker 11: But they're there though, eight days no, right, Shirley does
- 1:20:24Speaker 11: this every year, and she starts in January.
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: She's right outs down the year.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: She's all no, she rushes the four months until Christmas.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: See, you know, and we're already here.

- 1:20:46Speaker 3: shortest month.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: I think that's sad. So now we in March.
- 1:20:50Speaker 12: You always have some interesting black history questions or in February.
- 1:20:54Speaker 12: I can't wait, I'll start that now.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: Great, Yeah, what are y'all trying to do? Different? In
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: twenty four different goges on any changes?
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: Go ahead, setting my boundaries and not feeling bad about
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: setting the boundaries. You know what I'm saying, because sometimes
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: you know, like if you want to say no to something, yes,
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: and then you feel kind of guilty about it because
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: well maybe actually mean all.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of pressure sometimes to do things
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: or ten things or things like that.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: So setting my boundaries and sticking to them and not
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: feeling bad about the boundaries that.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: I've said myself. I like it.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I think lest we I kind of said it last week.
- 1:21:40Speaker 12: Just not entertaining any negativity none, none, who walked away
- 1:21:45Speaker 12: from it? I can't walk away no negativity. I just
- 1:21:50Speaker 12: don't want to hear it. I don't want to see it.
- 1:21:52Speaker 12: I don't want to be around it.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: No negativity. That's it.
- 1:21:55Speaker 12: That's all That'll help me a great deal. Just not
- 1:21:59Speaker 12: entertaining and just walking away.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: Period. That's already a fifty change though. That just changes things.
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: You just you start living better, you start you know
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: what I mean when you're.
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: Not Yeah, yeah, you have zero tolerance for it.
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I can't Yeah, I can't do it.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: What about you? I'm gonna say this and this is
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: just where I'm at in my life right now.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: But just accepting the success and quit down playing yourself
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: all the time for being successful.
- 1:22:28Speaker 10: Like that's a.
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: Because I always get in the group of people that,
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: you know, not as successful as I am, and then
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: they just talk about house and something. I was like, now, man,
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: I'm just with y'all and you really not. You're not,
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: but I and then I get criticized for it at
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: the same time. Well, when everybody needs something, I'm the
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: one they call and Tom, you know, you know quite
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: a few of these people, but you show up for
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: me and it's never enough. So I need to stop
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: doing that part. And I got to do that differently,
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: and I've already started to year off just doing it,
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: you know, So accepting where you are, just accepting who
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: you are and where you are and where you came from.
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: You don't have to forget where you came from, but
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: you just don't live down there no more.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: And don't get don't be mad at what, don't be
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: mad at the progress you've made. You cannot be mad.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: At guilty about That's God. Yeah, and I say glory.
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: And that's what I've been doing for years, just feeling
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: guilty about the progress.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: And I'm not doing that this year. Just not gonna
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: do that. And you know what I don't.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: I don't have room. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: have I don't want no new friends. It may sound crazy,
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: but I don't want any new friends. I have friends
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: that I have been friends with since childhood. I got
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: something I met in my twenties, maybe you and my THIRDI.
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: I don't have a lot of I have a lot
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: of associates, but I have a ry a lot of that.
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: But but I can count on one hand my real friends, right,
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: So I just don't have I don't want a new friend.
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: I ain't got time to learn you, and you ain't
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: got time to learn me. I don't want no new friends.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: But you'd be surprised how many people think that, Oh, yeah,
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: we've been knowing each other eight nine years now, that's
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: one of my best friends.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: No, no, I'm not. I'm not one of your best friend's.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Just somebody you know that we're cool.
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: But no, no, I'm not invest in that I think
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: about like this, T Like I had to just think
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: about this over the break. But I spend all my
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: time with y'all.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: On anybody, Yeah, we see each other.
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: Yeah, so y'all really like my family. I can trust y'all.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: I love y'all.
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: I know that because I spend all my time. If
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: I go outside this group, I can't say the same,
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: I can't say the same. Yeah, and that's that's absolutely true.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: M hm.
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: And that's why we don't have the room for new friends.
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: This is it.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's every day.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: It's thirty, y'all.
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: Watch me grow up this. I came out out thirty three.
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: I'm forty five, Wow, is it?
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Hey, but you consider the alternative.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: I'm telling you yep. I want to be here please.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: You know you know what else too?
- 1:25:25Speaker 12: And I think this is more female. And you guys
- 1:25:28Speaker 12: can correct me if I'm wrong. But we as women, Carla,
- 1:25:32Speaker 12: put ourselves last. We take all ways everyone around us, everyone.
- 1:25:38Speaker 12: We want to make sure everybody's good. Then we take
- 1:25:42Speaker 12: care of ourselves. We have to stop doing that. We
- 1:25:45Speaker 12: gotta take care of ourselves.
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: We do.
- 1:25:48Speaker 12: We have to put ourselves first because if we're not good,
- 1:25:50Speaker 12: then we can't be good for anyone else, you know
- 1:25:53Speaker 12: what I mean.
- 1:25:54Speaker 11: No, I totally agree with you. Surely I think women
- 1:25:56Speaker 11: as a priority. You know, we're nurturers and things of that.
- 1:26:00Speaker 11: So especially if you're a mother, you take care, you
- 1:26:02Speaker 11: put your kids needs first. Then if your husband, you
- 1:26:04Speaker 11: put your husband needs first. And then it's like, that's
- 1:26:08Speaker 11: why it's so the message for women to go to
- 1:26:11Speaker 11: the doctor, because we make sure everybody else goes to
- 1:26:14Speaker 11: the doctor. Women in health care and health and wellness,
- 1:26:18Speaker 11: it needs to be a big priority because women prioritize
- 1:26:22Speaker 11: everybody before themselves. So that needs you need to If
- 1:26:26Speaker 11: you're a woman and you're listening and you know you
- 1:26:28Speaker 11: do this, you need to make a change this year. Yeah, seriously, Yeah,
- 1:26:32Speaker 11: por prioritize yourself and your health.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Yep, yeah, yep. Ladies, we love you.
- 1:26:39Speaker 8: And we need you.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Guys and we need you.
- 1:26:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: That's it.
