- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all sit looking back to back down, giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them like a million buck bus things. And it's not good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve to mother, I don't join me. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn. You gotta turn to turn them out, turn love,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby. I sure, well a good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, I come on,
- 2:08Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only it is Steve Harvey. Yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I got a radio show. Okay, this is timely for everybody.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm sure I want to offer you all or some
- 2:25Speaker 1: encouragement because everybody needed. Let me tell you something. You
- 2:34Speaker 1: strike out on your goals, you strike out on your aspirations,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and so you strike out, as it happens to all
- 2:43Speaker 1: of us. Here it comes life. Life just hits one
- 2:50Speaker 1: of them bad notes, as it always does, as it
- 2:55Speaker 1: always does for all of us, for everybody. Now, when
- 3:02Speaker 1: those bad notes happen, when the haters come out of nowhere,
- 3:06Speaker 1: when the setback comes up, when when the out of
- 3:10Speaker 1: nowhere appears, when I didn't see that coming comes, Here's
- 3:17Speaker 1: here's what you have to do. Here is the thing
- 3:20Speaker 1: that I have been teaching myself for years that I
- 3:26Speaker 1: used to not always understand, so I'm trying to give
- 3:29Speaker 1: it to you. You have to be encouraged anyway. Now
- 3:35Speaker 1: that's difficult, okay, Steve, what you're talking about? You just
- 3:39Speaker 1: told me all this discouraging stuff that can happen, and
- 3:42Speaker 1: you said you got to be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man,
- 3:48Speaker 1: you have to, because what's happening to you right now,
- 3:53Speaker 1: the thing that you're going through right now, the thing
- 3:56Speaker 1: that everybody's going through right now. Ain't nobody don't smooth sailing. Man.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Everybody got something and if they if they don't smooth sailing,
- 4:05Speaker 1: just notice is coming. There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's just that this is life. This is how it
- 4:11Speaker 1: happens everybody, So please stop stop getting on the old
- 4:15Speaker 1: woe is Me bandwagon? Old Lord? Why met old Lord?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Something always happened to me, something always happens to everybody.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But here's what you got to do. When you get
- 4:28Speaker 1: in moments like this, you got to be encouraged. You
- 4:31Speaker 1: got to remember in those times, in those times when
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's going wrong, you got to remember all that you've
- 4:39Speaker 1: been through. You got to remember all that you've come through.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You have to remember those other times when you felt
- 4:50Speaker 1: like this, and somehow, unexplainably you don't even really stop
- 4:55Speaker 1: to say nothing about it. It just changed for you.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And the problem that was is no more. And the
- 5:04Speaker 1: situation that seems so insurmountable, you got over it, You
- 5:09Speaker 1: got around it, you got over it. Sometimes you just
- 5:14Speaker 1: got to slide right under it. Sometimes you got to
- 5:19Speaker 1: plow through it. But in those times when it's discouraging
- 5:25Speaker 1: for you, when you feel like giving up, those are
- 5:29Speaker 1: the test. Those are the moments that will determine whether
- 5:36Speaker 1: we make it or not. I'll tell you one thing
- 5:39Speaker 1: for sure. If you give up in these moments right
- 5:42Speaker 1: here here is a foreshow you'll never make it. That
- 5:47Speaker 1: that's that's unquestionably the deal. If you give up in
- 5:52Speaker 1: these dark times, if you give up in these what
- 5:56Speaker 1: you think is insurmountable moments, if you turn back now
- 6:01Speaker 1: here is the one thousand percent for shure you ain't
- 6:04Speaker 1: gonna make it. But there's a bright side to this situation.
- 6:10Speaker 1: If you keep your head down, if you keep forging,
- 6:15Speaker 1: if you keep pressing on. Sometimes if you just stand
- 6:19Speaker 1: there and sometimes get knocked to your knees. But if
- 6:22Speaker 1: you stay in that place, if you just stay there
- 6:26Speaker 1: and ride the storm out, my head is bloodied but unbowed.
- 6:32Speaker 1: If you can just stay there, if you consider in
- 6:38Speaker 1: that moment and ride it out, you will win. You
- 6:45Speaker 1: will pass the test, and you will get to move
- 6:48Speaker 1: on to the next level. But there is no next
- 6:52Speaker 1: level without a test. You can't get to grade six
- 6:56Speaker 1: without passing grade five. You can't be a senior without
- 7:01Speaker 1: first being a junior. You can't graduate without fulfilling the
- 7:07Speaker 1: hours and requirements. You see, I don't care what you
- 7:11Speaker 1: do in life. Look at it. It's all set up
- 7:14Speaker 1: on levels for You've got to accomplish the thing before
- 7:18Speaker 1: in order to get to the next level. And when
- 7:21Speaker 1: you've made those level accomplishments, you get to graduate. Now
- 7:25Speaker 1: you can go on and get the masters in a PhD.
- 7:27Speaker 1: You can go on and become rich. You can go
- 7:29Speaker 1: become wealthy, or you can go or you can go
- 7:32Speaker 1: somewhere and think yourself in another set of circumstances. But
- 7:36Speaker 1: you got to go through something to get to something.
- 7:39Speaker 1: There ain't nothing free. So you can stop that notion
- 7:42Speaker 1: about being successful. That is easy. Come on, man, if
- 7:45Speaker 1: it was easy. What we are, what we're talking about.
- 7:50Speaker 1: It is not easy. Stop thinking it is. It is difficult.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what's even more difficult than becoming successful.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You want to know what that is, Try not being
- 8:02Speaker 1: successful your whole life. That's hard. You are listening to
- 8:08Speaker 1: a person who has done them both been successful and
- 8:14Speaker 1: really really been not successful. And I got news for you.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Both of them hard. But I would rather deal with
- 8:22Speaker 1: what it is to be something, to make something out
- 8:25Speaker 1: of myself, to force myself to go to work when
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't feel like it. This morning was a rough
- 8:30Speaker 1: get up for me, but I got up and I
- 8:33Speaker 1: said thank you anyway. Never give up. And I don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: watch this dude too. He even mess around a guy
- 8:39Speaker 1: close to me because he just never gave up. You
- 8:42Speaker 1: can never ever give up. Never, It's not an option.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Giving up cannot be an option for you. You cannot
- 8:52Speaker 1: do that. It's out of the question. It's ain't conceivable
- 8:56Speaker 1: in your mind to quit, because to quit, it's to
- 9:00Speaker 1: what what you get when you quit? Nothing? That is
- 9:04Speaker 1: a reward for those who hang in there, who never
- 9:08Speaker 1: give up, who forged through, who see it through, who
- 9:11Speaker 1: get knocked down and get back up. Who gets trampled
- 9:15Speaker 1: but somehow gathers themselves and get back to your knees.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But stay in that place, man, don't ever give up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Don't let go be encouraged. Think of all you've been through,
- 9:25Speaker 1: Think of all you come through. Think of all he's
- 9:27Speaker 1: done for you. Think of all the times you thought
- 9:30Speaker 1: you wasn't gonna make it, but somehow, without you ever
- 9:33Speaker 1: even saying thank you, he got through. He got you
- 9:35Speaker 1: through it. Anyway. That's that thing called grace. Now we
- 9:38Speaker 1: kind of need that in our life. All I need
- 9:42Speaker 1: is a little more grace. You can't give God no
- 9:46Speaker 1: money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free. It's available
- 9:49Speaker 1: to everybody, but you can't get none if you quit.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Don't give up. I'll just tell you that flat out.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Don't ever give up. You're listening tow what up everybody?

- 14:03Speaker 1: can help your sick All right, here we go, bitter Man.
- 14:09Speaker 1: This one is from Missy and Talladega. Missy writes, my
- 14:13Speaker 1: fifty year old mom and my forty five year old
- 14:15Speaker 1: auntie are having sex with the same man. My mother
- 14:20Speaker 1: was hitting him first, and he cheated on her with
- 14:22Speaker 1: my auntie. My mother broke up with him and started
- 14:25Speaker 1: seeing a man that lives out of town. She doesn't
- 14:28Speaker 1: see him but once a month, so I guess she
- 14:30Speaker 1: got bored and started back sleeping with the cheater again.
- 14:34Speaker 1: The guy brags about sleeping with them, and everyone knows
- 14:37Speaker 1: it except for my mother and my aunt Should I
- 14:40Speaker 1: tell my mother she's the side chick. Now, you ain't
- 14:45Speaker 1: got to tell your mama. Damn thing. Your mama know
- 14:48Speaker 1: what's going on. Your mama your mamma just want to
- 14:51Speaker 1: be with that man. She know what that man is
- 14:53Speaker 1: about and what that man gives to your mama, daddy' nanny,
- 14:57Speaker 1: your damn being is okay, wrong, people say this all time,
- 15:00Speaker 1: Stay out grown folk business, all right, it's three people's business.
- 15:05Speaker 1: You ain't got no business in your mama, my auntie,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and that man and your mama A grown, grown, a good,
- 15:20Speaker 1: good and grown you know. Yeah. All I'm saying is,
- 15:24Speaker 1: once you smell white diamond in the house, it's time
- 15:27Speaker 1: to take your ass back in your place, okay, because
- 15:30Speaker 1: things about to happen. Okay, leave your mama alone. Go
- 15:33Speaker 1: ahead on. Well, you're not a liar. You're not here
- 15:35Speaker 1: to help. I see that, all right. Moving on Paris
- 15:41Speaker 1: and te Neck, New Jersey, says my husband and I
- 15:43Speaker 1: got married real young and had two children before we
- 15:46Speaker 1: were twenty two years old. I'm forty two now and
- 15:49Speaker 1: my husband wants another baby and I can't talk him
- 15:52Speaker 1: out of it. Our oldest son is getting married soon,
- 15:55Speaker 1: so we'll have grandkids soon enough. I'm considering getting a
- 15:59Speaker 1: from of birth control so there won't be any surprises.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I need my husband to calm down and get a
- 16:05Speaker 1: hobby because my baby factory is closed. Am I wrong
- 16:10Speaker 1: for this? No, you're not wrong. I don't know if
- 16:12Speaker 1: you've ever been to an old person's house. When that
- 16:15Speaker 1: stove light is on and that wash cloud just hanging
- 16:18Speaker 1: over the saint and the floor is all swept up
- 16:20Speaker 1: in the trash is put away. That means the kitchen
- 16:24Speaker 1: is closed. There's nothing. Nobody's cooking our damn thing else
- 16:28Speaker 1: in the kitchen. All the dishes have been dried and
- 16:31Speaker 1: put up. The kitchen is clothes, and your husband needs
- 16:35Speaker 1: to know the kitchen is clothed when I when I
- 16:39Speaker 1: baking bread, No damn more. Okay, there'll be, there'll be,
- 16:43Speaker 1: there'll be nothing. And you're looking at if you won't
- 16:46Speaker 1: do but any damn thing in there. One don't want
- 16:51Speaker 1: to cook, though, I'm telling you know what. He has
- 16:59Speaker 1: the right to go in the room and make a
- 17:00Speaker 1: meal by his own damn self. But you know how
- 17:09Speaker 1: to handle it. Sit again, you know how to handle it,
- 17:17Speaker 1: all right? All right, he's not here to help you, okay,
- 17:20Speaker 1: So don't think that's what you're gonna get. I don't know,
- 17:22Speaker 1: all right, you might have helped with that one. Parentsbody
- 17:27Speaker 1: like that answer you're right, all right. Kendrick in Hawaii says,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm twenty nine years old, stationed in Hawaii and Hawaii
- 17:36Speaker 1: and my twenty eight year old girlfriend won't join me.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I've been begging her to move because we've been in
- 17:41Speaker 1: a long distance relationship for the past two years. I
- 17:45Speaker 1: know she's the one, and I want to marry this woman.
- 17:48Speaker 1: She told me that shacking up goes against her parents
- 17:50Speaker 1: morals and values, and then she's trying to trick me
- 17:53Speaker 1: into proposing before she moves. She's trying to tell you something.
- 18:00Speaker 1: You in a damn thing. She's trying to tell you
- 18:02Speaker 1: she got somebody, anybody who don't want to go to Hawaii, Hawaii, Hawahiti.
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's not Hawaii, it's you, you know. She she don't
- 18:14Speaker 1: want to be with you. That's all I'm doing. I
- 18:17Speaker 1: don't know. There's not no trick, it's not there's not
- 18:20Speaker 1: no hitting, must hand around, hitting, none time dread, what
- 18:24Speaker 1: is it? Double? None of that? None of that. All
- 18:29Speaker 1: she is saying. She don't mind, you know, zooming every
- 18:32Speaker 1: nine and then because we got that going on. Make
- 18:34Speaker 1: you feel good a little bit. No smart woman that's
- 18:38Speaker 1: going anywhere without sending your screenshot. Make you feel better
- 18:43Speaker 1: because you over the body yourself. But she don't want
- 18:46Speaker 1: to be bothered with you at all. On the hand,
- 18:49Speaker 1: once you good Hawaiian, you stuck it, there's no there's
- 18:58Speaker 1: no freeway to get you back. I want you coming
- 19:01Speaker 1: if there's nobody. If you got somebody in your la
- 19:03Speaker 1: and they don't want to come to Hawaii to see you,
- 19:07Speaker 1: you got that out of that, Okay, No women, no women, No,
- 19:11Speaker 1: you don't go follow your boyfriend your husband. Baby, Well,
- 19:17Speaker 1: if you follow your boyfriend, he might be a husband.
- 19:20Speaker 1: We don't know. No one knows, no one, no, no,
- 19:23Speaker 1: don't take that chance. I want you sharing raised. Yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 1: you don't want sweet pine apples every day when you
- 19:32Speaker 1: don't want everybody a pig with an apple as you
- 19:40Speaker 1: don't want that girl fly in your head. Come on,
- 19:43Speaker 1: all right, we're moving on John Trees and Memphis says.
- 19:46Speaker 1: My twenty seven year old niece is messing with one
- 19:48Speaker 1: of one of my ex boyfriends. She doesn't know that
- 19:51Speaker 1: I know, but I found out through the guy. He
- 19:53Speaker 1: was drunk at the club and was trying to grind
- 19:55Speaker 1: on me and I pushed him away. He said it
- 19:58Speaker 1: was cool because he is sleeping with my niece. This
- 20:01Speaker 1: man is forty and way to advance for my niece.
- 20:04Speaker 1: He lives with a woman and they love threesomes. Do
- 20:07Speaker 1: I let my sister's child get churned out by this creep?
- 20:10Speaker 1: Or should I warn her? Well? The keyword that you
- 20:13Speaker 1: use in this home letter was grind. Brian is an
- 20:17Speaker 1: old word. As you rang once you said he was grinding.
- 20:21Speaker 1: That means he's of age. Younger guys don't grind. I
- 20:25Speaker 1: don't even know what that is. I did some of
- 20:28Speaker 1: my best branding in the eighth grade, Timmy. I could
- 20:32Speaker 1: couch your change in your pocket board, Timmy. They call
- 20:36Speaker 1: me mister coffee. They call me mister coffee because I
- 20:39Speaker 1: grind so fine. That's thank you, bitter man. All right?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Coming up next, the other fool in the house, nephew
- 20:48Speaker 1: Tommy would run that frank back right after this. You're
- 20:51Speaker 1: listening Stry Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 20:55Speaker 1: the hour. Miss Hannah's standing by with our national news
- 20:58Speaker 1: for today. Republicans say Nitor Lindsay Graham has caught COVID
- 21:02Speaker 1: nineteen and he believes, yeah, he believes that his symptoms
- 21:08Speaker 1: would have been much worse if he hadn't gotten the vaccine. Okay.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Also yeah, yeah, yeah it is. Yeah, hopefully more people
- 21:18Speaker 1: will get vaccinated. Catching it will change your attitude toward it.
- 21:21Speaker 1: That's the damn show. You're right about that, Chas I
- 21:25Speaker 1: ain't got to catch it. Yes, yeah. Also an entertainment
- 21:32Speaker 1: news rapper to baby apologizes, and another entertainment news friends,
- 21:36Speaker 1: family and fans bid farewell to rapper Bismarck Key on
- 21:40Speaker 1: Long Island. We'll talk about all of these stories at
- 21:43Speaker 1: the top of the hour, but right now the nephew
- 21:45Speaker 1: is in the building with today's run. That rank back
- 21:47Speaker 1: what you got for us, nap Media ministry, I said,
- 21:55Speaker 1: Media ministry. Let's go catdog if you would, Hello, Hellong,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Dre Andre. Yeah, Dre, you're the
- 22:09Speaker 1: person that runs the media at the church. You over
- 22:12Speaker 1: the sound system and everything and all the um, the
- 22:14Speaker 1: screens and all that stuff. Yeah, yeah, I work with
- 22:17Speaker 1: the church. Okay, how long have you been at the
- 22:20Speaker 1: church man, I've probably been at the church for like
- 22:22Speaker 1: five years now, about five years? Okay, okay, listen, my
- 22:25Speaker 1: name Doug Man, Doug K. Newsom, and uh I haven't
- 22:28Speaker 1: I haven't joined the church yet. But I've been coming
- 22:31Speaker 1: because my cousin them go there, and they've been going
- 22:33Speaker 1: there for quite a bit. My cousin, Uh I got,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I got one cousin that's in the choir. Uh Latrise.
- 22:39Speaker 1: You know who Latrice is? Right? Yeah? Yeah, I know, Doug.
- 22:43Speaker 1: You ain't a member of the church yet. No, No,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I'm not a member of the church yet. But you know,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I've been in there. You know, I'm liking the service
- 22:50Speaker 1: and everything. So you know, it's just a matter of time,
- 22:52Speaker 1: you know. Uh uh when I feel like I'm ready
- 22:55Speaker 1: to actually join. But I I ain't gonna lie. Man.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I'm calling you because I got a bit of an
- 23:00Speaker 1: issue about about something I've been noticing for the last
- 23:03Speaker 1: three weeks that's been going on in the church, and
- 23:06Speaker 1: I wanted to uh you know, I had to ask
- 23:08Speaker 1: around who was over the media. Yeah, that's that's okay. So,
- 23:14Speaker 1: uh man, I don't know what's happening, and I ain't
- 23:19Speaker 1: gonna lie. I gotta be real with you. It pissed
- 23:20Speaker 1: me off. But for the last three weeks, you know,
- 23:25Speaker 1: when my cousin get ready to sing, you know, I
- 23:28Speaker 1: don't know why when she get up the saing that
- 23:31Speaker 1: the mic just go out, you know what I mean,
- 23:33Speaker 1: the mic just go completely out? Was she getting ready
- 23:35Speaker 1: to sing? And I'm like, what this doesn't make no sense?
- 23:37Speaker 1: You know, So man, I ain't been It's not like
- 23:40Speaker 1: I'm timing it. I don't know. I mean, we don't
- 23:42Speaker 1: have the best equipment at the church, you know. We
- 23:45Speaker 1: we just gotta work for what we got. I mean,
- 23:47Speaker 1: it's not like I'm sitting there trying to sing about
- 23:50Speaker 1: your cousin. Sometimes the MIC's get a glitch. Man, But
- 23:52Speaker 1: see but see that. But see that's my problem though.
- 23:54Speaker 1: The problem I'm having is the glitch happening every single
- 23:57Speaker 1: time my cousin get the mic. You know, That's that's
- 24:01Speaker 1: the problem of hem. I'm like, okay, so every time
- 24:02Speaker 1: Latrees get up there the same then you know, the
- 24:05Speaker 1: might go out. I came three weeks straight. I ain't
- 24:07Speaker 1: hearing my cud saint nothing yet. So I'm calling you
- 24:10Speaker 1: bro on you know, on some real man the man stuff,
- 24:13Speaker 1: Just letting you know, bro, I'm coming to church again

- 24:33Speaker 1: Ain't nothing I could do about it. Okay, what I'm saying,
- 24:36Speaker 1: oh bro, what I'm saying is just right here though,
- 24:38Speaker 1: And I'm being as real as I can. Which if
- 24:40Speaker 1: if Latrise might go out on Sunday, immediately after that
- 24:46Speaker 1: service is out with somebody getting the wood. I don't
- 24:50Speaker 1: know why you calling threatening a member of the church. Man.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Like I said, I ain't got nothing to do with it.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I try to keep everything running cool, you know, I
- 24:57Speaker 1: try to keep it running smooth. I can't tell you
- 25:00Speaker 1: when a glitch is gonna happen. It's electronics, man, it's
- 25:02Speaker 1: old equimen. Now, I'd love for you to be a
- 25:04Speaker 1: member of the church with us, but I can't. I mean,
- 25:07Speaker 1: why are you calling up here threatening me? Hey, bro,
- 25:09Speaker 1: because because I came up there three times? Three times
- 25:13Speaker 1: I he came there and see my cousin saying. You know,
- 25:16Speaker 1: my cousin been saying since we was kids, we all
- 25:18Speaker 1: love to hear hussaying. We love a voice, you know.
- 25:21Speaker 1: We you know, we grew up listening to Latrise Saint.
- 25:23Speaker 1: So what I'm saying, I'm gonna say this here though,
- 25:26Speaker 1: and I said it, I didn't. I didn't see it
- 25:27Speaker 1: twice already. I'm coming up there Sunday if latrise might
- 25:33Speaker 1: go out. Bro let me just cut you off real quick.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Ain't no way that you're gonna come up here and
- 25:38Speaker 1: whoop nobody's ass. Man, That just ain't gonna happen. Like
- 25:41Speaker 1: I told you, it's a glitch. But you ain't coming
- 25:43Speaker 1: up to the church talking all this ship and then
- 25:45Speaker 1: gonna whip somebody's ass. Okay, So I see where we
- 25:48Speaker 1: are now, so so let me just going on direct

- 26:16Speaker 1: Whats thats gonna happen? Okay? What? What what makes you
- 26:19Speaker 1: think you can't get your ass? D What makes me
- 26:21Speaker 1: you over here threatened somebody over here with the media
- 26:24Speaker 1: you want to come test these hands, and come test
- 26:25Speaker 1: the hands. Man, you know what may the fact when

- 26:51Speaker 1: come on, call all up, call all up. Now you're

- 27:13Speaker 1: you don't call me talking to all this book and
- 27:16Speaker 1: how you about to come up here and whoop? And
- 27:18Speaker 1: now you need like seven eight other guys. Back in
- 27:21Speaker 1: the day, we used to just handle this one on one.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And now you want to come up here talking all that.
- 27:25Speaker 1: You're gonna bring every cousin you've got in your house.
- 27:28Speaker 1: If you want to do this, man, come up here.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Let's do it one on one. Oh oh oh oh.
- 27:33Speaker 1: You you're scared of something. Ain't nobody scared, but you're
- 27:35Speaker 1: talking that. You're whooping mind. Now you want to bring
- 27:38Speaker 1: up every disciple you know? Man, you know what, Bring
- 27:41Speaker 1: whoever you want. Just don't bring nobody you want back
- 27:43Speaker 1: because I'll put you all down. Okay, Well, I'm gonna

- 29:24Speaker 1: that led him that led to him getting dropped from
- 29:26Speaker 1: various music festivals. The Baby apologized with a lengthy statement
- 29:30Speaker 1: on Monday, saying he's educated himself and knows better now
- 29:33Speaker 1: following the vile comments he made at the Rolling Loud
- 29:36Speaker 1: festival in Miami, he said quote, I want to apologize
- 29:40Speaker 1: to the LGBTQ plus community for the hurtful and triggering
- 29:45Speaker 1: comments I made. Again, I apologize from my misinformed comments
- 29:49Speaker 1: about HIV and AIDS, and I know education on this
- 29:53Speaker 1: is important. Love to all, God bless the Baby. Also
- 29:57Speaker 1: suggested he's a victim of high speed social media, saying
- 30:00Speaker 1: social media moves so fast that people want to demolish
- 30:03Speaker 1: you before you even have the opportunity to grow, educate,
- 30:07Speaker 1: and learn from your mistakes. As a man who has
- 30:10Speaker 1: had to make his own way from very difficult circumstances,
- 30:14Speaker 1: having people I know publicly working against me, knowing that
- 30:18Speaker 1: what I needed was education on these topics and guidance
- 30:21Speaker 1: has been challenging. Wow, what he should have said that?
- 30:28Speaker 1: Had you said that, but then you wouldn't be in
- 30:30Speaker 1: all his damn trouble? Now, which baby is just because
- 30:36Speaker 1: it's dub baby, not a little baby, none of that?
- 30:39Speaker 1: Yeah the baby. I think you should go one step
- 30:43Speaker 1: further one Yeah, what do you mean? Got more work
- 30:46Speaker 1: to do? Yeah, he got but this will really put
- 30:48Speaker 1: him over the top. He needs to be in that
- 30:50Speaker 1: little nas video and then that all things okay, you
- 30:53Speaker 1: know what, not sure the most recent the most recent
- 30:58Speaker 1: video okay. And other that was that was Jake. That
- 31:03Speaker 1: was Jake. Oh they know nobody else on this show
- 31:09Speaker 1: like that ignorant Jay. All right and other We are
- 31:18Speaker 1: moving on another entertainment news. Bismar Key's memorial service was yesterday.

- 31:45Speaker 1: can always count on him to give the eulogy and
- 31:49Speaker 1: uh biziness. Widow widow m Tara Davis, gave some emotional
- 31:53Speaker 1: and very heartfelt remarks as well. She revealed that the
- 31:57Speaker 1: Obama sent her condolence his letter and bits Markey's public
- 32:01Speaker 1: memorial was live streamed on b ET. He will be
- 32:05Speaker 1: missed and the tribute to the song we did about
- 32:08Speaker 1: voting and well used the bismars Key track A girl
- 32:11Speaker 1: friend of Man the Jews Chaunceston man. He put a
- 32:14Speaker 1: video together where it makes it look like Biz is
- 32:16Speaker 1: actually singing the song telling people to go a vaccine.
- 32:20Speaker 1: So I'm gonna drop that on you. That's gonna drop.
- 32:22Speaker 1: That's when you see you putting something out, It's gonna drop. Okay,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I'm dropping. We know what dropping radio, I'm dropping. That's
- 32:35Speaker 1: the confusion. Yeah, but all right, pismarkes very nice. Anyone
- 32:43Speaker 1: who doesn't say that same thing, very nice, very nice man. Yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 1: just all of a beautiful soul will be missed, will
- 32:51Speaker 1: be missed. All of the legends that you mentioned, surely
- 32:54Speaker 1: that were there. I saw something of Roxanne Shantay remarks.
- 32:59Speaker 1: You saw that, yees yea, yeah, yes, very heartfelt, very heartfelt. Yeah,
- 33:05Speaker 1: he was the legend in the game and stop work
- 33:08Speaker 1: because he did private parties he twenty four seven. Yeah, yeah, absolutely,
- 33:14Speaker 1: rest in peace, bids definitely all right. As we move
- 33:19Speaker 1: on now it is and switch here's here. It's time
- 33:21Speaker 1: now for today's headlines. Jay. Please, ladies and gentlemen, it's
- 33:25Speaker 1: time for miss and trip. Thanks Jay, Thanks to and
- 33:29Speaker 1: trip news. The US Senate is finally poised to begin
- 33:32Speaker 1: debating amendments to a roughly one trillion with a ten
- 33:35Speaker 1: dollar pie parts and infrastructure package. The bill includes more
- 33:39Speaker 1: than fifty five billion dollars in spending for traditional stuff
- 33:42Speaker 1: like Rhodes and bridges, railway railways, and Broadman. Once his
- 33:46Speaker 1: bill has passed, though Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says
- 33:48Speaker 1: he wants to move on to a broader Democrat based
- 33:51Speaker 1: a bill. It's a three and a half trillion dollar package,
- 33:54Speaker 1: including new funding on healthcare, education, and measures aimed at
- 33:57Speaker 1: combating climate change. Due to Republicans, however, not expected to
- 34:01Speaker 1: support this one. In an effort to cut down on
- 34:03Speaker 1: all the shootings in and around Chicago, all gun sales
- 34:06Speaker 1: in the state of Illinois now subjected to universal background
- 34:10Speaker 1: checks under the legislation signed into law yesterday by Governor
- 34:14Speaker 1: Jamie Pritzker. This bill is the most comprehensive reform to
- 34:18Speaker 1: our state firearms laws in over a generation. This new
- 34:22Speaker 1: law also provides funding for a stolen gun gate database,
- 34:26Speaker 1: and also money for mental health counseling for communities affected
- 34:29Speaker 1: by gun violence. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham says he's tested
- 34:33Speaker 1: positive for COVID nineteen, but Graham, a staunch Trump supporter,
- 34:37Speaker 1: says he's sure that his symptoms are as mild as
- 34:40Speaker 1: they are because he got vaccinated. Lindsey Graham is now
- 34:43Speaker 1: one of the seventy two members of the Congress who
- 34:45Speaker 1: have tested positive for the coronavirus since March of twenty twenty.
- 34:49Speaker 1: The US report over one point three million new COVID
- 34:53Speaker 1: infections in July. That's more than triple the number of
- 34:55Speaker 1: new cases reporter back in June. Since the federal Bannon
- 34:58Speaker 1: evictions expired the weekend, landlords across the country now free
- 35:02Speaker 1: to begin eviction proceeds to tenants who've fallen behind on
- 35:05Speaker 1: their rent somehow. Local governments, though, are scrambling to try
- 35:09Speaker 1: and prevent a huge wave of evictions. They're trying. The
- 35:11Speaker 1: Supreme Court, you know, blocked the sentence for disease control,
- 35:14Speaker 1: and the President even from extending the band without congressional approval.
- 35:18Speaker 1: That's the problem. If no rescue comes, more than three
- 35:21Speaker 1: and a half million Americans could lose their homes. Finally,
- 35:26Speaker 1: Simone Bile says she's basically over what gymnasts called the
- 35:29Speaker 1: twisties so she competed early this morning on the balance
- 35:32Speaker 1: beam in Tokyo. Her teammate Jade Carrie says she's so
- 35:35Speaker 1: happy that she's back. Having simone beam back is great.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I'm really proud of her. She's been through a lot
- 35:40Speaker 1: this Olympics, so it's going to be great to see
- 35:43Speaker 1: her out there. She won a bronze. Biles is the
- 35:45Speaker 1: most decorated female gymnast in history. She's a brave competitor,
- 35:49Speaker 1: having competed with broken toes and other injuries, and she
- 35:52Speaker 1: survived sexual abuse. Yesterday, Biles tweeted about the outpouring of
- 35:55Speaker 1: support she's received. She said she made her feel really good.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show.
- 36:04Speaker 1: All right, Tommy, I think you should do the honors here,
- 36:06Speaker 1: since you guys are both on the same team. Team
- 36:09Speaker 1: time always, always, always, No, it's not the same team.
- 36:13Speaker 1: It's Tommy and I'm Team Tommy. Get it right, man, Okay,
- 36:17Speaker 1: it's time. Team difference. That sounds were a big difference.
- 36:22Speaker 1: That sounded weird difference. It's a huge difference. God, ladies
- 36:26Speaker 1: and gentlemen. We're about to go into the mind, the
- 36:28Speaker 1: Mindael Jay Anthony Brown. All right, we're going deep. It's
- 36:32Speaker 1: like a museum, a place that you've never gone before,
- 36:35Speaker 1: way deep in the back of Jay Anthony Brown's mind.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Don't don't go there deep. Okay. All right. First of all,
- 36:45Speaker 1: as you know, Labor Day weekend, I'll be at the
- 36:47Speaker 1: Asher Theater that's uh Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, I mean
- 36:51Speaker 1: Myrtle Beach at Mirdle Beach, South Carolina and um Charlotte
- 36:55Speaker 1: on the twenty first of August. Anyway, so I'm in
- 36:59Speaker 1: the mill all the other day. When is a garment
- 37:02Speaker 1: too big for you? When is it too big? Because
- 37:05Speaker 1: I see people with stuff on, and I'm saying to myself,
- 37:09Speaker 1: that looks too big. If you're stepping on it, that
- 37:13Speaker 1: means it's it's too it's too damn big. It's just
- 37:16Speaker 1: there's no other way to get around it. If you
- 37:18Speaker 1: got to hold it up, it's it's because it's because
- 37:23Speaker 1: it's too big. It's too large for you. If you
- 37:27Speaker 1: got if you got to hold it with both hands
- 37:30Speaker 1: up so that it don't fall down. To me, that's
- 37:34Speaker 1: too big. That's okay. We got that out of the way. Now.
- 37:38Speaker 1: If you look on the other side, of them all.
- 37:40Speaker 1: You'll see people with some stuff on and you say
- 37:43Speaker 1: to yourself, that is too small, that is too that
- 37:50Speaker 1: is I don't know if you if you're aware of it.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I mean I was in fashion. I did alterations, I
- 37:57Speaker 1: made clothes. I know, you know, I just it. I've
- 38:00Speaker 1: taken stuff up, that stuff out for me. When it's
- 38:03Speaker 1: too small. If the button, if there's difficulty buttoning that up.
- 38:09Speaker 1: If you if you can't get that button to to
- 38:12Speaker 1: just real easy, that means it's too small. And if
- 38:16Speaker 1: you got on a pair of pants and when you
- 38:18Speaker 1: take them off and your waist itches, if there's an itch,
- 38:25Speaker 1: if you if you if you gotta rub, if you
- 38:33Speaker 1: gotta rub your entire waist once you take that garment off,
- 38:38Speaker 1: that that is that's too that's too tight. That is
- 38:44Speaker 1: if if if when you take it off, it's up
- 38:47Speaker 1: in your butt, it's completely up, I mean too. You
- 38:53Speaker 1: gotta really get a friend that you know, real that
- 38:57Speaker 1: really cares about you to get that out. I'm done.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I'm a thirty four minutes as of the hour, We'll
- 39:17Speaker 1: have more of this ignorant show right after this. Jay
- 39:24Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, President Biden
- 39:29Speaker 1: and his administration plans to keep on pushing as US
- 39:33Speaker 1: vaccinations did increase yesterday with over seven hundred thousand doses administered.
- 39:39Speaker 1: That's good, that's progress. So we want to say to
- 39:42Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey nation, please listen. We want to try
- 39:45Speaker 1: to help save lives, and right now we want you
- 39:47Speaker 1: to hear part of an article that an ICU doctor
- 39:50Speaker 1: posted on Yahoo dot com. Her name is doctor Neville,
- 39:54Speaker 1: and she wrote, I cannot understand the simultaneous decision to
- 39:59Speaker 1: not get thatvaccinated and the demand to end the restrictions
- 40:02Speaker 1: imposed by a pandemic. I cannot help but recoil as
- 40:07Speaker 1: if I've been slapped in the face when my ICICEU
- 40:11Speaker 1: patient tells me they didn't get vaccinated because they just
- 40:14Speaker 1: didn't get around to it. Although such individuals do not
- 40:18Speaker 1: consider themselves anti vaxers, their inaction itself is a decision,
- 40:24Speaker 1: a decision to not protect themselves or their families, to
- 40:28Speaker 1: fill a precious ICU bed, to let new variants flourish,
- 40:32Speaker 1: and to endanger the healthcare workers and immunosuppressed people around them.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Their inaction is a decision to let this pandemic continue
- 40:43Speaker 1: to rage. I am at a loss to understand how
- 40:46Speaker 1: anyone can look at these past months of the pandemic,
- 40:49Speaker 1: more than six hundred thousand lives lost in the US
- 40:53Speaker 1: and more than four million worldwide, and not believe it's
- 40:57Speaker 1: real or take it seriously. Doctor Novelle went on to say,
- 41:02Speaker 1: now I painfully realize perhaps we were never on the
- 41:06Speaker 1: same side, and we never had a common enemy. Perhaps
- 41:10Speaker 1: the war has been among ourselves all along. We have
- 41:14Speaker 1: won many battles, but unvaccinated America is choosing to let
- 41:19Speaker 1: COVID win the war. Wow. Well, wow, that is deep,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and yeah, very profound, very profound, doctor, I think it's doctor,
- 41:31Speaker 1: doctor Nevill, doctor Nevill. But yeah, go ahead, go ahead.
- 41:35Speaker 1: What were you saying? I was just saying, how long
- 41:38Speaker 1: does it take? How many people do you have to
- 41:40Speaker 1: see go down? Before you make a decision? I'm you know,
- 41:44Speaker 1: it's almost like you're waiting and waiting until the very
- 41:46Speaker 1: last second, D and that's gonna catch up to you
- 41:49Speaker 1: invite you in the butt, you know. So I just
- 41:52Speaker 1: don't get it. I don't get not getting this shot.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I do not understand it. And sometimes, unfortunately, Tommy, you
- 41:58Speaker 1: say how long. Sometime times it's until you get it,
- 42:02Speaker 1: then you see, then you see, and we don't go
- 42:05Speaker 1: there you're talking to you're talking about Lindsey Graham having
- 42:09Speaker 1: the virus. Now his whole approach and his whole attitude
- 42:13Speaker 1: because he has it, it's a different tone now. And
- 42:16Speaker 1: once you catch it, or somebody near you catches it,
- 42:20Speaker 1: you look at it different, which is which is why
- 42:22Speaker 1: the numbers are going up with people getting vaccinated, because
- 42:25Speaker 1: they see that people are dying and they don't have
- 42:28Speaker 1: to die. They really do not have to die. And
- 42:31Speaker 1: that's what the doctor said the other day, she said,
- 42:33Speaker 1: you know, those of you who don't take the virus
- 42:35Speaker 1: and don't get the shot, you a lot of you
- 42:38Speaker 1: people are going to die. You just but you know what,
- 42:41Speaker 1: ja but you got you got you know, congregations, you got,
- 42:44Speaker 1: you got pastors telling the entire congregation this shot. Don't
- 42:49Speaker 1: come in here with that mass, get out of here
- 42:51Speaker 1: with that mess. And you know when you put that
- 42:53Speaker 1: in there, if you know they've been following you, that's
- 42:54Speaker 1: your flock, and your flock is feeding off of that.
- 42:57Speaker 1: So now what you know, not even not doing it,
- 42:59Speaker 1: the kids aren't doing it, nobody's doing it, and it
- 43:02Speaker 1: just nothing happens, and now you got a whole group
- 43:04Speaker 1: of people, a mess of people that's probably gonna get sick. Yeah.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Us part of us having COVID and you know, getting
- 43:11Speaker 1: the vaccine and all of that was so we could
- 43:13Speaker 1: come together with our families and friends and stuff like that.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I remember when Biden first took office, he said, maybe
- 43:19Speaker 1: by Thanksgiving, you know, and Christmas, we can have our
- 43:22Speaker 1: family dinners again. Well, not if it's going backwards, not
- 43:26Speaker 1: that people won't get vaccinated, and you know, it's spreading again,
- 43:29Speaker 1: and there's this new variant out here now, you know,
- 43:32Speaker 1: I was looking forward to that finally you know, some company, uh,
- 43:36Speaker 1: you know, dinners things like that for the holidays. But
- 43:39Speaker 1: we're definitely going in the wrong direction. We are, we're
- 43:44Speaker 1: going backwards, and people are hesitant in doing that. They
- 43:46Speaker 1: just need to talk to their doctor. They need to
- 43:49Speaker 1: get medical advice. They don't need to listen to social media.
- 43:52Speaker 1: If you don't want to listen to the news, if
- 43:53Speaker 1: you don't want to listen to us, then you need
- 43:56Speaker 1: to get doctor, medical health professional a vice as to
- 44:00Speaker 1: what is best for you. Yes, before it's too late,
- 44:04Speaker 1: this shot could save your life, right, it absolutely can.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Need you around and listen to the show. We need
- 44:10Speaker 1: you all right. Coming up next, it is the nephew
- 44:16Speaker 1: as we switch gears, here with the prank phone call
- 44:18Speaker 1: for today. Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 45:41Speaker 1: left with the severance when you when you left the company,
- 45:43Speaker 1: is that right? That's right? Okay? And how long were

- 45:56Speaker 1: we got we have you. You started this business? Now
- 46:00Speaker 1: did you start it before you left? Philip? I started
- 46:04Speaker 1: this stigments after I left there. You started it after
- 46:08Speaker 1: you left there? That's correct? One month? One month after
- 46:11Speaker 1: you left there? Okay. So the reason why I'm giving
- 46:15Speaker 1: you a call, and I've been you know, we've gone
- 46:17Speaker 1: through some security tapes and things of that nature. We're
- 46:20Speaker 1: missing so many rims of paper, We're missing thousands of
- 46:24Speaker 1: paper clips, We're missing so many office supplies, and it's
- 46:28Speaker 1: been brought to the security's attention that it's targeting that
- 46:31Speaker 1: you are the person that has taken all of this office.
- 46:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry, let me get this right there. You are
- 46:38Speaker 1: calling my place of business, ask me if I have
- 46:40Speaker 1: used paper clips and paper I have customers in my establishment,
- 46:44Speaker 1: right now I can't talk to you about this, okay, ma'am. Listen.
- 46:47Speaker 1: I know that I'm sorry for calling your place of business,
- 46:49Speaker 1: but I want to say that we're at the point
- 46:52Speaker 1: of actually picking you up behind items that have been
- 46:55Speaker 1: taken from the company. So I wanted to call and
- 46:57Speaker 1: see if we could get it taken care of over
- 46:59Speaker 1: the phone. Now you gotta go, then I'm gonna have
- 47:02Speaker 1: to actually come out to your business, and that's something
- 47:04Speaker 1: that I'm trying not to do. You know what, hold on?
- 47:06Speaker 1: What second? You hold that? Who does this on my phone?

- 47:25Speaker 1: that company for six months. I worked for y'all for
- 47:27Speaker 1: eight years and you all let me go. I didn't
- 47:29Speaker 1: take anything from you, Okay. Have you ever used any
- 47:32Speaker 1: paper or any paper clips outside? Have you done that?
- 47:37Speaker 1: Of course? I used paper every day I run a business, okay,
- 47:40Speaker 1: But you're using our paper for your own personal business,
- 47:43Speaker 1: your travel agent or whatever it is that you have

- 47:59Speaker 1: it's been a substantial amount. And right now it's gonna
- 48:03Speaker 1: be filing charges and taking you to court over these
- 48:06Speaker 1: paper clips and paper. I'm gonna tell you what you

- 54:51Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject she's just downright naysty okay, Dear
- 54:56Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I've been with my wife for thirteen years,
- 54:59Speaker 1: but we've been married for nine years. We have three children,
- 55:03Speaker 1: ages four, seven, and ten. During our marriage, I've cheated
- 55:06Speaker 1: and mismanaged our finances a few times. Whenever I messed up,
- 55:11Speaker 1: I fessed up, and she was always willing to forgive
- 55:14Speaker 1: me and move on. But when she's angry with me,
- 55:17Speaker 1: she's just downright nasty. She's spit on me and thrown
- 55:21Speaker 1: things at me out of anger, and she will leave
- 55:24Speaker 1: our home with the children for days without telling me
- 55:27Speaker 1: where they are. Five months ago, she figured out the
- 55:30Speaker 1: password to my phone and was checking my texts and
- 55:34Speaker 1: found pictures of a woman that I had been sexting.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I never made plans to hook up with this woman.
- 55:40Speaker 1: But my wife did the usual thing by disappearing, and
- 55:44Speaker 1: a week later she called to invite me to meet
- 55:47Speaker 1: her to talk. She gave me the address to an
- 55:50Speaker 1: apartment complex. It was very nice place, and I noticed
- 55:53Speaker 1: her fortieth birthday picture along with the picture of our
- 55:56Speaker 1: children on the mantel. She told me it's her new
- 55:59Speaker 1: home home and she wanted me to see it before
- 56:02Speaker 1: our kids moved in. She gave me divorce papers and
- 56:05Speaker 1: told me she's done, done, done with me period. I
- 56:11Speaker 1: tried to caress her and calm her down, but she
- 56:14Speaker 1: was very cold towards me. She told me she's met
- 56:18Speaker 1: a great man and he's been giving her the best
- 56:21Speaker 1: loving she's ever had in her life. Then her brother
- 56:25Speaker 1: walked in and said it was time for me to leave.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I swore to her that I was going to find
- 56:31Speaker 1: the man that broke up my family. She said, I'm
- 56:34Speaker 1: the man that broke up our family. She is dead
- 56:37Speaker 1: wrong for blaming me after she forgave me and to
- 56:42Speaker 1: keep our family together. How can it be my fault
- 56:46Speaker 1: when I haven't cheated in years? Why is she being
- 56:49Speaker 1: so nasty toward me now? All right? Why would you
- 56:56Speaker 1: have the audacity to even ask that question. Okay, why
- 57:00Speaker 1: is she being so nasty toward you? Now? Why did
- 57:04Speaker 1: you cheat on her for years and mess up the money?
- 57:06Speaker 1: I mean, really, what is wrong with you? Did you
- 57:09Speaker 1: not read your own self letter? Did you not read
- 57:13Speaker 1: it before you send it in? You cheat it on
- 57:15Speaker 1: your wife, not once, not twice, but a few times.
- 57:18Speaker 1: You also also messed up the finances with them once
- 57:21Speaker 1: or twice. And that's big as well. And now you're shocked.
- 57:25Speaker 1: You're shocked that your wife has left you for good. Dude,
- 57:30Speaker 1: you blanked up your marriage. Okay, not the man you
- 57:34Speaker 1: say you're going to find for breaking it up. Your
- 57:37Speaker 1: wife told you you broke it up. So look in
- 57:39Speaker 1: the mirror. Okay, are you listening to any of this?
- 57:43Speaker 1: I mean, is anyone at home inside your head? You're
- 57:47Speaker 1: delusional at this point. She was just sick and tired
- 57:50Speaker 1: of you and your mess. Okay, that happens. That happens
- 57:53Speaker 1: women get fed up. You know that all right. In
- 57:57Speaker 1: her own words, she was done undone with you, period.
- 58:01Speaker 1: She's had enough. And it was stupid of you to
- 58:03Speaker 1: think that you could just cheat and cheat and cheat
- 58:06Speaker 1: with no consequences. This is what can happen. You know,
- 58:09Speaker 1: when you take your marriage and your family for granted.
- 58:12Speaker 1: That's why you should never gamble with your marriage. You lost,
- 58:18Speaker 1: You gambled and you lost, and you have only yourself
- 58:20Speaker 1: to blame. So get used to your new normal, joint custody,
- 58:24Speaker 1: the single live and plenty of child's support to pay
- 58:27Speaker 1: for your three babies. Okay, I don't feel sorry for you.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I don't. I'm sad that this happened, that your marriage
- 58:33Speaker 1: broke up. But you know, I will say this to you.
- 58:37Speaker 1: You have to learn from this horrible experience. And it
- 58:39Speaker 1: is a horrible experience. Divorce is horrible, especially for the
- 58:43Speaker 1: kids and everything. But you've got to become a better
- 58:45Speaker 1: person here so you can be an example for your children.
- 58:49Speaker 1: All right, Jay, what you got? I'm gonna go over
- 58:52Speaker 1: this whole thing again because it's a lot. Thirteen years
- 58:55Speaker 1: of marriage. You lost money during the marriage. That's not good.
- 58:58Speaker 1: None of that is good. You messed up cheating over
- 59:01Speaker 1: and over and over and over, and not to cheating,
- 59:03Speaker 1: but you got caught. Damn. I mean that's you don't learn.
- 59:05Speaker 1: You haven't learned a damn thing. You really have not
- 59:08Speaker 1: learned anything, especially how to cheat. So when she got
- 59:12Speaker 1: when she caught you, she spit on you and winning
- 59:15Speaker 1: your phone. His rule. Once a lady gets a new
- 59:18Speaker 1: place and invite you over to the new place and
- 59:21Speaker 1: it's all fixed up and everything, and you know she
- 59:25Speaker 1: got a key and you know getting mail. It is.
- 59:29Speaker 1: It's over for your ass, It's completely over. She mapped
- 59:34Speaker 1: us out perfectly, okay, and then you going to find
- 59:37Speaker 1: that other? Dude, I don't think you want to do that, Okay.
- 59:41Speaker 1: I just I don't know who this, I don't know
- 59:44Speaker 1: who to dude it. But I wouldn't. I wouldn't go
- 59:47Speaker 1: looking for an ass whooping if there's not one waiting
- 59:50Speaker 1: on you, because she already she already had her brother
- 59:54Speaker 1: waiting on you if you had got out of hand.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Now you're sitting there with no woman and two ass whippans.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: You don't want that. You just don't want that at all.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: So no, I mean, one ass whoopan is really bad,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: but to have too, and it's possible that you can
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: get too in the same day. So what I would do?
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Get my stuff together, except she's saying to you and
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: leave her alone and the next woman you get, try
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: not to get a spit up that's what you try
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: not to do. Try as ass in the beginning of relationship.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Do you spit? But Jay, why isn't he taking any
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: of the blame for what he did? What anybody's I
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: think it's more show him not taking the blame as
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: opposed to what's what's unanswered. We know that the brother
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: was there knowing he could whipsad. That's why the brother
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: was there. He immediately there's another part to this letter
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: coming up. We haven't heard from the nephew, so we'll
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: be back with part two of today's Strawberry Letter, the
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: subject She's just downright nasty. At twenty three minutes after
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the hour, right after this, you're listening Day Morning Show.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: All right, guys, we're gonna recap today's Strawberry letter, the
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: subject She's just downright nasty. A man wrote in he's
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: been with his wife for thirteen years. They've been married
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: for nine. They have three children, ages four to seven
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: and ten now. During the marriage, he admits that he
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: cheated a few times. He cheated, he mismanaged finances. He
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: did all that a few times, but he said whenever
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: he messed up, he fessed up, and his wife forgave him,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and you know, they were able to move on. But
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: when she's angry with him, he says, she's just downright nasty.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: She spit on him, she threw things at him out
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: of anger, and then you know, she has a habit
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: of leaving the house, taking the kids and leaving the house,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: and he just hates that. Why does she do that?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Why does she have to be so nasty? I thought
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: she forgave me. So his wife found his phone. There
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: was some text messages in there. He had been sexting
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: another woman and that apparently was the last straw for
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: his wife. So his wife invited him over so they
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: could chat, and come to find out this was her
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: new place. She had a picture of herself for fortieth
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: birthday up on the mantel with the kids. And you know,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: her brother came out and said it's time for you
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: to leave. She handed him divorce papers. She was upset.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: She said she's done done with him. Now, the man
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: who wrote the letter, the husband, is like, how could
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: she be so nasty? How can she do this to me?
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I stopped cheating a long time ago. He can't wait
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: to get out and find the man who broke up
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: his family. It's you, dude, it's you. Okay, So that's
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the basic recap, temmy what you got. I don't want
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to help you. I want to help Huh. Why am
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I helping you behind? Why would I even spend waste
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: my time on telling you what you need to do
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: to get your family back, what you need to do
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: to do this to do that? Why am I helping you?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I want to help her. You got your nerves. You
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: got your nerves to be mad at her. You know what.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Let me tell you. If you talk to her, tell
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: her I said this. She should call all the ladies
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: you cheated with and get them to help her move.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: That's what she needs. Okay. I'm not helping you do
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: a damn thing. This is about your wife, who if
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: you are sent through turmoil, all right, you know what,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: she should have pictures on the mantel, matter of fact,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: of her new man and the kids. That's right, that's
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: what I think. With you you have I'm sorry, I can't.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I can't have your back. Matter of fact, I ain't
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: gonna lie. I take it to a whole other level.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Matter of fact, you didn't send you got all these
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: nude pictures and stuff in your phone. Guess what I'll
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: be sending you some nude pictures if I was your
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: wife and gives what it'll be new pictures or my
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: new man. Yeah yeah, here go my new man over
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: here by the nights there. Okay, here goes my man
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: in the kitchen cooking in the naka all right, I yeah, okay,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: my man out there in the backyard cutting the yard.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Guess what he here? He naked, says, you got all
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: these naked pitts, you got these ladies and everything. You
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: didn't completely disrespected your wife to the highest of of this.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: This hit is of disrespectstivity. That's what you do. Okay,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I said it call of disrespectativity, And I'm sorry. Now
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: you have lost your children. You got ages four, seven,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: and ten. Now you're not gonna see them on a
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: daily basis. Now you're not gonna be in their lives
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: as much as you should be. And you know what,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: the only thing I don't like in the entire letter
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that I don't agree with. I do not agree with
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: anybody spitting on anybody. I don't care what's happening. I
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: don't like that. Okay, that was that's the name that
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: depart got that. But but all the other nasty belonged
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: to you. Yes, you've done, You got a million nasties
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to her on, and I'm sorry. It's time for you
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: to go. Hopefully when you get another family, Hopefully, if
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you get one, you'll know, you'll, you know, make up
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: for your mistakes, learn from your mistakes, hid in the
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: right direction. But you gonna have to do right by
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: these kids. That right there is what you're gonna have
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to do. You've lost, you have lost. That's the problem.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: That's the thing that bothers me because I don't really
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: think he gets it. He's still blaming his wife. So
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: until he learns his lesson, until he learns from his mistakes,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: he's not gonna be able to move on because at
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: the til the very end of the letter, he's still
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: blaming his wife and the other man. He doesn't see
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: himself in this letter what he did to cause all
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: of this. This is a train wreck, and he caused
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it for everybody. Don't everybody don't learn lessons though, And
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: because he doesn't see what he did wrong, he doesn't
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: see it. But not only did he cheat on her,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: but he messed up the finances. To come on, dude,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: come on and don't go looking for that man. I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: hope when you go over there, I hope if you
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: do go, I hope when he opened the dope, I
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: hope his ass is naked. You ain't had a good
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: ass until you had one. That I hope that over
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: you let the naked dude with your ass out of
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: the that becomes a hot About that time? How about
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: that time you? How about that time with your fuse
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: and that nigga do with your hands? How about his friends?
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: It's two times? It's a how about that time? And
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: remember that time? It's two Remember that dude. You remember
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: that dude cutting in yard naked and you pull up
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: in the time when he the living hell out of you.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Remember that time? And how about that time you don't
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: want it to come? Remember the time you want to
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: go pick up your son and taking the football and
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: then man, ask that though and whoop your right naked
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: dude showed up on your job and whoop your hand
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: in your cubicle. Thanks, guys, I think we get it.

- 1:07:33Speaker 1: time for sports talk and all of that. And I
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: gotta ask you, guys, did you get caught up or
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: choked up? I should say watching the Olympic athletes win gold, silver, lebronze.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I mean, regardless of what country they're representing, from the
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: goat simone Vials to gold medalist swimmer Chase Kalise Collez. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: What about Anthony Jarrett, the runner, I mean he was yeah, well,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: well his story was cool because he was tripped by
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Batswana's Nigel Amos when both runners collapsed, but they walked
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: together and finished the eight hundred meters semi finals. I
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: just thought that was a great, yeah, show of just
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: showmanship and brotherhood and love. You know when you saw
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: them just so he tripped, how tripped Jarrett? And then
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: they got it. He got him up together and Jarrett
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: the American, they just walked to the finish line. It
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: was just sportsmanship. He was a beautiful moment. Yeah, they
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: got Amos ass after we got to walk. Yeah, I
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: trying to could have won this race. If you wouldn't
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: have tripped me, that's all right. But it just showed that,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you know, some things are even better than even winning.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: You know. I thought it was a good moment, in
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: a touching moment. You know, don't get touched Elphen so
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: hey where you and that's that was a real moment.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: You didn't win the goal, but that's a golden moment.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: How about exact? But you know what so weird. I
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: don't know if you guys are for me. With the
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: comedian by the name of Franklin and John, he had
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: this great comedy bit about in the Olympics. You know, like,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: you know, you come up in last place. You say
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: to yourself, I'm in last place, and and you know
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I practice all year and I'm in last place. I
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: could have got this without practice. No, no, no, Jake,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: no no. My favorite Franklin and John is when the
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: wide world of sports used to come over and you
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: see the agony. You see the agony of defeat, and
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you see that that guy Skin that's coming down that hill,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: and I mean he is terrible. And he said the
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: agony of defeat the god Skin could he ski at all?
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: You know? He broke every bone in every bone. But
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: it's great to watch though. It really is, man, it
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: really is. That's what I'm saying. That's the question. Like
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: it doesn't matter what country you do, kind of root
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: form right, yeah about down just for gladiators period. Man,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: they are the badminton, the people playing badminton. It's like unbelievable. Man,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: I don't I don't know what it is. All right,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: all right, but yeah go Olympics. All right, coming up, Olympics,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Olympics coming up. Bill and Melinda Gates. Well, their divorce
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: is final, so we'll talk about divorce right after this.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: You're listening to all right, guys, check this out. All
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the single ladies, all the single guys. Bill single, latest, Yes,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: single Latest. Bill and Melinda Gates are each officially very
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: eligible bachelor and a bachelorette now because their bitter divorce
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: is now a done deal. Court records confirmed the judge
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: signed off on their divorce on Monday. Talk about a
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: way to start your week. Hum now. According to TMC,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Melinda filed for divorce back in May after twenty seven
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: come them, twenty seven years of marriage and there was
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: no pre nup. Okay, back then, they weren't doing that
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: all right. Million Bill's net worth is estimated at more
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: than one hundred and thirty billion dollars, so the divorce
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: settlement could leave Melinda over sixty five billion with a
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: b dollars. Way to go, Melinda, Yes, yes to them,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: really rich, they rich. They bought the out there in
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: the club? Who who? Who was somebody first? Him or her?
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Who do you think him? Doesn't matter, no diask just
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: asking which one you fan him? Already him, but all
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: the guys, all the guys are definitely gonna swarm on her.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: So so okay, so check this out, guys. A study
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: published in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy found
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: that there were four main reasons cited for divorce lack
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: of love or intimacy. Well, Jay, you're probably you're a
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: lack of lack of love or intimacy, communication problems, that's
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a big one. Lack of sympathy, respect or trust, and
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: growing apart. Yeah, show, and there's one more? Is one more?
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: What's that not on that list? Okay? What is it? Yo?
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Damn Mama is not on that list. I wasn't expecting that.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I wasn't either. Look look down where the bottom it's
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: on this some damn yo yo, damn mama. So Jay,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: would you would you like to share with us why
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: you got a divorce? Well, it's on what I touched.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Stevens said this and I'm saying it again. It is
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: cheered me. It mean, do you just get tired of people? Jake? Yes,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I do. He doesn't like company, you know, I life.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: I like living by myself. All the ladies that ended
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: up with houses are very nice women. They're very they're
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: oh man, I have I have bought more houses than
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Earl Shives has painted cars. So Jay, you know, of
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: course Melinda and Bill Gates they billionaires and they've been
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: buying up a lot of money. They don't need child
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: supporting their children, a grown grown What kind of yeah,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: what kind of advice do you have for people that
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: may be going through a divorce? What, Carla, I can't
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: look I look at it this way, especially with Bill,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: and I look on that question to Jay. Oh yeah,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: let me give you advice. You know, sometimes you do
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: something wrong. You might not know how to do it right,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: but you can tell people he's what he's in't work
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: to me for me? And when I talk about the
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Bill Gates separation, and um and doctor Dre. Those ladies
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: were there from the beginning when you didn't have all
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: what you got. So for me to fight to sit
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: and fight her for what's had that she billy, it's
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: not gonna make sense, especially if your asses in Texas
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: of California. You ain't gonna you ain't gonna win, friend,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: You are not gonna win, friend. Okay, so she had
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: they deserved? Had they do? You know? Now? You know
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: who don't deserve? J who that guy that was married
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: to maryor j Blacke agree with the I will Mary's money? Yeah, right,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that's right. Right, So surely he didn't answer the question
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: question when you asked, Jay gave you a good response,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: but it was he got away with that nine. That's
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: why he divorced. He don't problems, Carla. Communication. We'll have
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up a
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: twenty minutes after right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, So here we go with
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: some Steve Harvey celebrity birthdays. A lot of people born today. Okay,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Oh fine, Michael Eli, Carla, it's forty eight birthday, Happy
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: blue Michael. Hey, here's another one. Oh fine, Tom Brady
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: from the New England New England Patriots now Tampa Bay
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Now ladies, ladies on to ask, always ask black Way
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: in this question, go ahead, can can? If he's on
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: the list, you put a white guy on the list
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: of the guy that could get it. Yes, it's Tom
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Brady on that list. It's Tom. Yeah. Wow. Is that
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: a question? Jay? Yes? That was what. Wow. He's someone
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: who's who's not on the list, but he's having a
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: birthday today. Martin Sheen is seventy two, not on the list,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: not on the list. Happy but happy birthday. Yeah, DJ
