- Mr Normthegreat1: Welcome to Dope Discussions, where faith isn't quiet and truth isn't comfortable. We're having the conversations most people avoid about purpose, pain, leadership, relationships, identity, and the real walk with God. No pretending, no performance, no watered down gospel, just raw growth, real convictions, and kingdom conversations. and Kingdom conversations that challenge you to become who God called you to be. And now, here's your host, Norm the Great One. Yo, what up, what what up, man? You already know who it is. It's the great one. We back in the building. Yes, Lord, we back in the building. Another day, another opportunity. You know, that's how we start everything off over here by giving thanks to the Lord God for all his many blessings that he's stored upon us, man. You know, just for air, shelter, food. I mean, is there so many blessings that God store upon us? And I think oftentimes that We overlook them because we look in too far ahead in the big picture. But we also got to thank God for the little things that we consider little, but everything is a blessing, man. And we thank God for that. But one of the biggest blessings of them all, just allowing us to see another day and to be back behind the mic one more time. that's priceless, man, priceless. If God don't ever do nothing else for the rest of the day, He'd done enough just to allow you to see another day and to be back behind the mic. in itself is one of the biggest blessings that one can ask, man. You know, finally, we back in the building, man. Hope y'all had a good weekend. Hope you had a good week so far, man. Yeah, we back in the building, man. We got a good one today. It's gonna be a little bit of this, a little bit of that, but might be a little controversy again. Like last week, might step on some toes, hoping nobody get offended. Let me start by saying this, this is not geared to nobody and none of that because... Sometimes folks give me feelings and think that you talking about them or whatever the case may be. So I just like to put that out there, man. My weekend was pretty cool, pretty laid back and chill. I ain't did too much of nothing at all, to be honest with you. Some schoolwork stuff need to be caught up on. Been lacking on that a little bit, but backing on that and just chilling and just being lazy for the most part, you know what saying? I ain't did too much and I've been ripping and running lately, but I ain't did too much and nothing. Sometimes it's cool to just have a laid back and chill weekend, The weekend always go by fast, but you know, it is what it is. So the week so far been going pretty good. You know what I'm saying? Can't complain, but we in the building, man. It's show time. Let's get this thing cracking, man. All weekend, all week, all over social media, you could have seen. If you had eyes to see what they call it, Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson relationship, I don't really care about celebrity relationships and stuff like that. And I didn't get into the details. I care to get into the details. I'm starting off with this because at the end of the day, man, you look at these celebrities, man, and they ain't aware about it. So, you know, they got their own thing going on or whatever the case can be. But at the end of the day, man, when you make a, millions in a lifestyle off an image and you got language in the sun. People can say, oh, that's her stage presence. She, Megan, is dying on stage and off stage she's whoever, Megan, whoever. But let me tell you something, the perception of the thing is powerful. When you out there twerking and shaking your body, I mean, shaking your butt and everywhere you go, you're dang near naked and that's how you carry yourself. You're all over the internet with pictures with your butt out and You just known as a twerk and all that. Now I'm not saying all this is 100 % true. But what I am saying is the perception that you put out there is that you there for a good time, not a long time. And you made millions and millions and a whole life off of ho-ish type music. I mean, let's call it what it is. You know, ho-ish type music and how you can do this and make a man feel this and make a man feel that. me tell you something. Carrying yourself in that way, how you dress and how you carry yourself, you're gonna get the attention you want and the stuff you're looking for. But them days when it comes to that point to where you tired of getting playing around with, wasting time with the local jokers and now you wanna settle down and all that, that stuff don't go away. The work that you've done is gonna speak for you. The stuff that you put out there is still out there. Being I was young and dumb, you know, when you young with your crew and y'all smoking your little blunts and turning up and getting drunk every weekend. Excuse me. Y'all turning up and getting drunk every weekend and sleeping with this person and sleeping with that person and going out of town and just twerking and you know how they do, hey, hey, go sis. And people hype you up to make a fool of yourself. Some dudes don't care, some people don't care, but if somebody trying to take you serious in their life and change your last name and all that, you know, people are, β my past shouldn't matter. The hell it don't, the hell it don't. It tells a lot about a person. And I said it before and I said it again. What a person put out there is who that person is. You can't tell me nothing about no, β I was just having a good time. But at the end of the day, You also be mindful what you put out there. That's you. And the thing that gets me, like I always say, I'm all right with you living how you live. Just be cool. We'll come with it. So the stuff that you put out there, you can't get mad at nobody. That's what you did. You felt the need. You felt the need to go out there naked or half naked with your breasts out, your behind out. And I always had to party in the turn up scene and getting it and doing all the stuff that you and God knows what else you're doing behind the scene. It's going to show up and come with you and everybody don't have to accept that. Most people don't have to accept that. You know, the thing that baffles me about people, people would want you to accept something from them that they wouldn't accept from you. Like folks would want you to always overlook something, overlook this or overlook that or that's who I, well, hey, that's what you say. That's what you say. Everybody say all types of stuff. Like my daddy always said, I see better than I hear. I see better than I hear. I hear what you say, but I see how you act. And that tells a big story right there because what you put out there, and that's on both sides, male and female, you have to be mindful of what you put out there and how you conduct yourself and carry yourself, you know? And the stuff that you entertain. The stuff that you entertain, it follows you. You don't just get the drop of, you don't get the drop of reputation. Reputation carry a long time and it goes a long way. And the last thing, a man that's looking for a wife or anything, looking to a wife, a girl, a round the weird girl that done been out there doing everything and then whatever the case may be, now he walk around, he the butt of the jokes. You walking back, you can't even go back to her class reunion β or go back to her college reunion and nothing, because she got too much skeletons in the closet. You know what saying? So that's all I'm saying on that, but you got to be mindful, like I said, even though Megan make music and do all type of crazy stuff or whatever her music is, know, whopping, doping, all that other stuff. You know what mean? I don't do, I'm not saying she deserved. They get cheated on like this thing say, don't know what happened. Neither do I care. But I'm just saying for content purpose that if you make a decision to be with somebody and you try to be with them, that's your word. But like I said, that's their stuff. And the amount of people that's falling into the category of following them and crying and it's people online crying. The ancestors gonna get clay and he did. I mean, like people are so invested into other people's lives that it's crazy, yo. They worship these celebrities, And another thing, you also gotta be mindful with a person with a victim mentality. Every time you look, they run to the line, I mean, online, and I would talk about somebody cheat on them. Somebody did them wrong. I don't care what nobody said. Miss, if every man you get would cheat on you, something ain't right, something ain't right. Ain't no way. You can't convince me to believe that. Something ain't right. Ain't no way. Ain't nowhere. Ain't nowhere at all. But hey, I hope it work out for her. I hope she seek the help she need, get herself together, and what they say back home, shake back and get the life that she want or whatever the case may be. But good luck. Good luck with that. And even with that being said, man, it takes me to the next part of the show that I want to talk about, accountability, know, accountability for most people is a hard thing. Like, folks would go through the wall, under the house, behind the bridge, out of town and come back. They would go through hell and high water just to take, instead of taking accountability for it. It hurts so many people. They got so much pride just to say I was wrong. I did that wrong, I handled that wrong, I went about that the wrong way. No, no, no, no, no, Most people will drag you through the mud, they will argue, then they will give you some watered down nonsense. If I did what you said I did, no, Negro, keep that. And people do it all the time. I mean, like, if you look around the world, or you see interviews, or you see shows, or anything, somebody says something happened. There's a lack of accountability everywhere. They will tell you why they did it and this happened, this why, because of this, but it don't matter. You were wrong. I don't understand why it's so hard for people to say I was wrong. It don't make you less than a woman. It don't make you less than a man. If you were wrong, hey man, I messed up. I could have handled that a different way. I could have went about that a different way. I did that wrong. That may have been... β That may have been disrespectful. I may have hurt your feelings, but I apologize, man. You know, that's on me, man. That's something that I gotta do better. No harm, no foul, and keep it moving, but for the life of me, you hear people all over at work, everywhere. People just, they make excuses for everything instead of just only, I don't know if they think that it makes you look weak or, I don't know, man. It's just something so crazy about it. And I mean, I don't understand for me. And I'm like, At some point in time, man, you have to grow up. And you know, you have to grow up. And when you look at things like that, it tells a lot about a person. They carry that victim mentality most of their life. And if you listen to them tell stories, most of their stories, somebody did them wrong. And everything is two sides to a story. you can, after you listen to some people talk, and you listen to some people talk, clearly, it tells you a lot about that person. Because it costs you nothing. to say I was wrong. You know what mean? Hell, I was wrong. I mean, was somebody gonna beat you up or I wanna fight you or something? I was wrong. I made the wrong turn. I made a mistake. That's on me. I got it on that. I remember I was at a place like that in life at one time, You know, when you ride, I don't give a damn. Cussing up and carrying on. Wrong is two left shoes. Instead of coming back to the table and say I was wrong, man, you will see what happens. No, no, no, no, no, no. at a place, hey man, you know what? I own that, you know what? I did you wrong. I could have handled that better. I could have, I carry myself at a higher level, on higher standard, you know what? But I ain't too high and mighty to come back and tell you I could have handled that better. And I apologize to you as a man. Ain't no if I did what you say I did or if, no, no, no, no, no. I apologize sincerely for how I made you feel. You didn't deserve that. I gotta eat that, but I'll be better. I promise you that. It takes nothing from me for that, because I'm a grown man at peace and it don't bother me to go back. And I don't even have to go back. If it happens, I'm gonna straighten it out. I'm gonna straighten that out. I'm gonna straighten that out without a shadow of a doubt because I don't like to let things linger because I need to get, if I even think about it and I'm like, yo, even sometimes I feel like if I say something like this, I'm like, yo, I could have handled that better, you know what saying? I'm gonna come back to the table. I'll probably hit you off the next day. be like, yo, man, you remember we talk, we were talking and stuff, I ain't meant that, man. I ain't really know what I was talking about, man. You know, I was tripping and I let... I let my emotions get the best of me or whatever in that moment. I don't know exactly what happened, but what I will tell you, man, you ain't got to worry about that moving forward, man. You know what saying? That's something that I don't know what happened, but I own all that. You know what saying? I own that. I own it. And there's nothing wrong with that, man. The only way you can get better in life, man, is you start owning your stuff. Own it. Yes, I did that. I did that at the time I thought that that's what I wanted to do. You know, excuse me. Life will be so easier for some people if you just own it. It's okay. At that point in life and time, that's what I wanted to do. That's where I was at, but I'm no longer there. But some people want to carry it. It is what it is. is what it is. Whatever. You can't get nowhere like that, And as time go on, talking to people and listening to people talk and talking, so many people got work to do. I don't understand. I know I'm about to contradict myself on what I'm about to say because I always say I don't understand how some people can go the way they go. But... they've been going that way so long, they don't think there's nothing wrong with it. But it's a lot wrong with it, man, because it's so many people out here who need to do some work. And they don't do the work because they hang around people and family members and stuff that coddle them and they go and they make them feel like they write about everything instead of giving them the correction that they need. It's so many people that's wrong. I mean, they be... wrong as two left shoes, but they got so much pride. Like, and they need to do some work. A lot of people need to do some work. And I don't care what nobody says, man. I'm telling you, if you, I know I say this like a broken drum over and over. If you do not do the work on yourself, it's gonna ruin everything that you, you're gonna think you'd be at a place and you find a piece. but that stuff that you didn't work on, that anger, that little slick anger, that slick mouth and all that stuff, it's gonna cost you a lot of things because coming into a person that's on this stuff that heal, that ain't with that toxic stuff, they're not gonna deal with you. They don't have to. Go back to your kind where people see that. another issue is a lot of other people that might deal with that and like that toxic stuff. But people that's healing, the work, don't have time for that. That don't interest them. But see, there's other people that look at it like this cute because everything come at levels. You can have that attitude and don't do no work when you hanging around people like that, when you're dating people like that. But when you start to elevate and like not, when you start to elevate on different levels and meeting different people and different people taking interest in you or you meet somebody on different level. They were gonna require more of you. So now you're frustrated. Now everything offend you. Now you wanna do that toxic stuff you used to do when you were in them toxic relationship or friendship, walk away or block them or whatever. But that's not gonna work. It's gonna force you to deal with you. You can't manipulate that. See, there's so many people so good at manipulating, they take anything and flip it. You gotta listen to people and watch people because what people do is they'll flip anything you say. Also, you trying to say I'm a good person? Lord forgive me, I'm be honest with you. I'm that type of person. I'm not here to scrape or nothing. If that's what you say, yep, that's what I say. If that's what you wanna roll with, give them what they ask for. If that's what they wanna flip and say, yeah, that's what I mean. what? Because they know they manipulate and they're trying to change it. See, people try to change the narrative of the conversation, they flip it. They real good at flipping their manipulators, but that tell you one thing about that person. If they can manipulate words when you talking to them like that, what else they manipulate? They're a manipulator. That ain't something they just started. They've been doing that. They manipulate a lot of other things too. And they're slick as hell. And they're a liar. Most manipulators are a liar. That's what you're doing, basically lying. So you have to be mindful with that, And then once you start to call people out on that, they get attitude. They're wrong, they're a liar, and they got attitude. Make it make sense. How'd that work? How'd that look? You tell me how that look. I don't understand. I don't understand it. I don't understand that at all. Because at the end of the day, what you don't work on will show up and it will continue to show up until you do the work. And the thing about it, people not slow, they know they got stuff they need to do within their self, but it's also so easy to blame somebody else. It's always easy to blame somebody else. You hear people all the time, well such as such as as, no you, you, ain't no damn such as such as you. And I tell people all the time, man, you don't care what nobody else do what you do. You work on yourself and be the best you, and that's all that matters. They gonna show off how they show off. You just make sure you doing what you supposed to do. And that's all that matters, man. And that's what I want people to walk away with, Do your thing. Do your thing and work on yourself and do what's best for you to put you in a better situation so you're not coming from a toxic mindset or a victim mindset. You're coming from a healthy mindset. And not only that, you see things clear. You ain't taking everything out as an offense. Because a lot of people like to call people out, but they can't take constructive criticism to save their life. If you don't believe me, I know you got people around you. Look at how they call everything out and talk about everybody else. Look at your circle and people that you hang around, people in your family. Look at them, the ones that always want to talk about somebody else or got something to say about somebody else. Watch how, if you call them out and tell them something, watch how defensive they get and how crazy they want to get their spires out and all that. See? They always want to judge everybody else and tell you about somebody else, but they'll never want to talk about themselves. Always be layer of people like that. They're dangerous. They dangerous, they hide a lot of things. They're at hiding stuff. They hide things and they talk about others so their stuff will never come to the forefront. And nine times out of 10, the people that they're talking about, they stuff worse, they done did worse things than them. But they put that on the front side. I always say this, I always use this. When you go to a club, right? And you see a girl out there or you just hanging out or whatever the case may be. And you see a girl out there with her butt out. I mean, she got a little dress on. She out there dancing, provocative, doing all that. Here's the deal. You see that girl right there. You got an idea pretty much of who she is. She's not the issue. The issue is the person that's saying, I would never dress like that or never carry myself like that. They're the one you need to worry about and be mindful and leery of because they're saying that. But they probably worse than that young lady out there doing all that. But they don't want to show that image or show you that. But they probably 10 times worse when they go out there. You see what I'm saying? But people got this thing where they wanna, I don't know if they wanna, I don't even know what they want, what they call it. But they try to sell you a version of them, I guess, so you don't have a bad view of them or something. But at the end of the day, That chick out there on that floor, she's showing you who she is. And one thing about it, my audience will say, someone shows you all believe, you can't get mad at that. You know what you did. One thing about it, if you know what you're dealing with, you know you got, you can do something. But when you got somebody that pretending this and pretending that, that's one of the worst person to have, the worst person to deal with. Because let me tell you something, you don't know, I mean, for the most part, you don't know people mostly capable of, you have an idea. But with that person, you have no clue what they capable of. They can pull off anything and they'll just take you down through there because you don't even know, because you wouldn't even thought they had it in them. But you would be surprised. You would definitely be surprised. And like I tell people all the time. I people all the time, keep your eyes open, Keep your eyes open because if not, they gonna catch you and it's gonna catch up with you because people will slick past you and try to get you to believe that there's something that they're not. And that's another thing, man. I don't understand why it's so hard to be yourself, man. Who you are is who you are, Who you are is who you are. I don't know why you try to paint an image or I don't go nowhere where I paint an image or try to be somebody or not. I don't care where I go. I can be at church. I can go to the restaurant. I can go to work. I am going to be me. And I'm not saying like I'm in a disrespectful way because I don't care what you think of me. When you meet me, we have a conversation. If you know me personally. You know me, I'm the same way 24-7. It ain't no difference, you know what saying? Like some people like that, you know what I'm saying? Depends on where they at, they this way, they that way. I'm the same way across the board. I don't know how to be nobody else. But we live in this world now, social media world. Everybody got image issues, man. They want you to believe that there's something that they're not. But let me tell you something, frankly, I don't care what you believe in me. Who you see is what you get. I don't have no tricks or gimmicks or trying to woo you or want you to go either way or the other. I don't care about that. All I know is to be one way. I know for sure I'm not everybody cup of tea. Some people drink coffee. I'm a coffee person myself. Some people like tea. I'm saying that to say I'm not everybody brand and I'm cool with that. I'm okay with that. A friend of the world is an enemy to God. I'm all right, everybody ain't gonna like you. And I'm not trying to, I'm too old to try to fit in with something. I never tried to fit in when I was younger. So why would I try it now? It don't make sense to me. It never made sense to me. And I'm definitely not doing it. I mean, either I work or I don't, or whatever the case may be, I'm cool either way, you know what saying? But I'm not going out my way to try to make you believe. I'm something that I'm not. Nah, I'm not doing that. I'm too old for that, man. I'm definitely too old, way too old for that, bruh. I got grown kids, man. I'm not doing that, drunk. That's like, you don't love yourself enough, And I love me. I'm not in a vain way. But I love me and I'm all right with that because there's no way in God's green earth I'm gonna go out here and try to portray something that I'm not to get you to like me. And then the thing about it, what's gonna happen? You're gonna like the person that I'm portraying to be. So eventually when the real me come out, you're gonna be like, wait, I don't know that person. Who the heck is that? And that's what people run into. because they try to send these representatives and man, it cost you nothing just to be real from the start, man. Just be real with it, run with it and enjoy life. And I think that's another issue that we have that a lot of people have not accept their self and they don't love their self. Because if you love yourself like you supposed to, you don't have to do all that faking and trying to get approval and all that. You know what saying? You wouldn't have to because you're confident within yourself and you would understand that you ain't for everybody and that's okay. But long as you show up as you, ain't but when you got me and everybody unique and individual, you know, even twins got their own identity. So at the end of the day, you are responsible for you. Now, the way you carry yourself and your actions, that's all on you. That's all on you. But to get out here and put on a persona that you one way and knowing you a whole different way, that's crazy to me, That's crazy work, man. That's diabolical because what's the point? And that's too much work, man. All I know how to be me the great one. That's all I know. Anybody that know me off of this, they'll tell you I'm the same way. I don't know how to be nothing else, you know? And that's too much energy, man. That's too much energy, bro. I can't do it. I got a job. I got school. I got the show. I got a park. I got so much things. I got kids. Man, I don't have time to be trying to put on no facade for nobody to like me or to think about what they want to think about me. No way. Nah, I'll pass on that. I'm cool. I don't need no approval from men, no way. or my approval come of God's. I'm not trying to do nothing to get approval from men or even thinking about even trying to appease men, women or anybody, man. If I'm not too speed, I'm all right with that. Just go ahead and get out of the way. Ain't no harm, no foul. But I think it's time for... people to be real with themselves. Because if a person can't be real with themselves and accept their flaws and the things that they're not good at and willing to work on it, why in the heck would you think they would be? real and good to you, if they don't even accept theirself. These are things that you look for when you're entertaining people, or you're doing business, or you meet people. You listen to people talk, and these are things that you pick up on. I noticed that a lot of people are not as confident as they try to put on. I think a lot of people have low self-esteem, and I'm not saying that to dig at nobody and say, I'm up here, nobody down there, but. A lot of people do because especially in the social media era, where all this makeup and filters, people looking at other people's lives and competing. Now, you work in a nine to five with an honest day paycheck and these folks out here scamming and you're competing with scammers that steal and people on all these trips. But one thing about it, you don't know how these people getting it. Now, three, four, five, six, eight years down the road, you'll see somebody going to jail for scamming or food stamp scam and all that. And these are the people that you compare your life to and the people that you like. β they life so good in this down the third. J. Cole said the best and I'll say it again. There's no such thing as a life that's better than yours, man. Love your life. Make your life the best it can be. That's your life. And, but that being said, it's your life. You are responsible for your life. You are responsible for your happiness. You are responsible for the people that you invite in your life. No matter how you try to flip it, shape it, whatever you want to claim and manipulate, whatever you want to claim, you are responsible for who you allow in your life, in your circle, and in your close. area, your personal space, these people are the people you allowed there. And if you keep getting to that place where it don't work or this happened, it's something that you need to work on and change. is something that you need to work on. And you need to work on that ASAP sooner than later because it will catch up with you. It will. So I don't care what nobody tell you β or whatever the case may be, you can read any book, you can do whatever you want to do. But until you handle the things that you need to handle within you and within your life, you're going to keep getting the same results. And how many times you got to keep going in the same circle and keep hitting your head against the wall and realize that I got to change the way I do things. I got to change the way I show up. I just got to just work on me and be better. Take a break from everything, get your butt off of social media, start journaling, and start being honest with yourself. If you gotta get a therapist or a coach or whatever you need to do. That's what need to do and work on it. You don't gotta make no big announcement or tell nobody what you're doing. You just have to adjust yourself and everyday start journey, start being better. But the only way you're gonna get better, you have to wanna get better. And that's the thing. Most people don't wanna get better. They wanna complain like they wanna get better, but they don't wanna get better. And that's the problem. Because a lot of time we talk a good game and don't get it twisted like I said before. Doing the work can get down and dirty. It can get tough because you have to face things that on normal circumstances you wouldn't face. And a lot of people run from things or they black things out to say that it never happened or whatever. But back to the part where I just, when people say the past is the past, let me tell you something. In order to heal and to get straight, you have to go back and come forward because of things in the back that you had to not scream out, but revisit and take inventory. And that's the only way you can move forward. And people think that you don't have to go back and come forward. You can pick up from where you are. No, no, no. ever, ever have to deal with that again. But you know what? In order to get better, you have to go back and come forward. And once you go back, you can close that chapter for the most part and do that work. Now, I'm not saying you're gonna totally forget what happened and what you went through, but you no longer having that, hold you hostage. What happened to you no longer hold you hostage. You free yourself from that because you stand up into it. And you stand up and say, yeah, I've been through that. Yeah, that happened to me, but that don't define me. I am better than what happened to me. And I've got to be better because I'm still here. It didn't kill me, didn't take me out. So that's a good sign that God got me here for a reason. Because there's so many people out there live through so many different horrible things, man. So many different horrible things. And they tuck it in their back pocket or try to throw it in the closet and shut the door and hopefully they'll never have to open that door. But let me tell you something, ma'am, sir, sis, bro, you're gonna have to go one day and stand up to it and face it. That's the only way you get better and that's the only way you're gonna get free. because you have to stand up to it. I don't care what they tell you, but you have to stand up to it. If not, it's gonna always show up. And trust me, it's gonna show up at the worst possible time, as it always does. You can be in a place where you think you finally got it together, you happy, like vibing, whatever the case may be, and boom, it shows up. Because you didn't slay that dragon. because you didn't handle it and you tuck it to the cut, to the side, and you thought it was done. No, no, no, no, no, that thing popped right back up and raised it's head and guess what? Now, you stuck. He's stuck right there. Well guess what? One day, you get the courage to stand up to it and be done with it. Write that letter to yourself. Forgive first and foremost, and I think that's another big thing that a lot of people don't do. I think a lot of people don't forgive themselves for things that they've been through, situation they put their self in that they know shouldn't have been, places they've been they know they shouldn't have been, or people they've been with that they shouldn't have been, and doing things they know they should have not done. And I think a lot of people hold themselves prisoners to them, things like... and they don't release themselves from that and they relive that over and over. But you can't beat yourself up over that. You have to forgive yourself and move forward. You have to. Because if you stay there, you're still living back there. But you have to free yourself. You have to. Unless you like living with that same thing over and over. And once again, you have to say that and stand up to it. Hey, I did what I did. I'm not proud of it, but guess what? It don't define me who I am. I'm moving forward with life. I'm better than that. I lived and I learned. I'm better than that. I'm better. I'm stronger. I'm wiser. I'm moving forward with life because life is good. And I'm grateful for another opportunity to make the better, to make better decisions and have a better life. And you have to claim that and speak that stuff, man. and it's okay and you gotta do the work and you'll be fine. Nobody ever said life was perfect. Nobody ever said life is easy. But it's the work that you gotta do, you know? It is what it is. It's the work that you gotta do. And once you go do the work, you'll be fine. I'm telling you, you will be fine. It don't matter. You become unstoppable and you'll be fine. And that's just what it is. I tell people all the time, Tough times don't last, man. Tough people do. We all got a story, man. We all got a story. We all been through some things. But at the end of the day, it is what it is, man. It is what it is. You don't have to un- You don't have to keep struggling with things that holding you back. Let it go. Let it go. Let it go and move forward. Forgive yourself. Make peace with it and move forward. That's the only way you're gonna live, man. That's the only way you're gonna live free and find peace. That's the only way. And trust God. You got to. You got to. without God, none of that's possible, But God will see you through, man, I promise you. I promise you, God will see you through. But you gotta trust Him. And you gotta wanna get through, And not just with your lips. You know, oftentimes people say all types of stuff, man, you know, I wanna do this, I wanna do better. But faith without work is dead, man. And one of the biggest thing also, you have to be able to see yourself out of a situation and see yourself doing better. Oftentimes you talk to people that tell you. their face is low because they don't see themselves doing better or see themselves outside of the situation, you know? but you gotta see yourself out of that. See yourself free, you know? You have to imagine yourself being free. Imagine yourself being free from the bondage, the stuff that hold you back from childhood, stuff you went through with your parents, your teen love, ex-husband, whatever the case may be, crazy things you did, you know, whatever, you know? You gotta make peace with them stuff, man. You got to. And that's the only way you're gonna live and find peace and joy, Because if you don't, it's gonna eat you up and you're gonna be miserable. And you still be faking and trying to put on a persona so people can like you, but you're struggling inside with who you really are. I want to see most people, I want to see everybody in a good place and doing the things that God put them here to be, you know? And free, living free and finding true happiness, you know? And living the authentic self, not with filters, not what people think they should be, but who they were made to be by God. And that's all the life I want everybody to have. Unfortunately, That may not be true, but heck, can pray and wish, right? I love to see people doing good, man. I love to see people that's genuinely happy. I'm not talking about happy with material things, not with worldly material things. I'm talking about genuine happiness and genuine peace. Like you can sit in your own company, or you can sit back and read a book, or go fishing, or whatever your hobbies is and enjoy the small things about life, just the stillness. There's so many people that got so much things in their head, ripping and running, and their brain don't stop. They can't even sit in quietness because their brain don't stop running. That's why a lot of people smoke weed or pop pills or whatever they do because of the thoughts. And the hamster on the wheel, the hamster on the wheel keep running and they try to slow it down. And sometimes it just be an overdrive, overthinking. You know, I don't mind, it's a devil playground. And once your mind start to run like that, it just, it takes off, buddy. It takes off. And some people try to find different ways of slowing it down. to where they can understand and where they can control it a little bit. And then sometimes without it taking off. Because once the wheels start turning like a hamster on a wheel, man, that mind can play tricks on you. That mind will have you thinking all type of crazy stuff that ain't there. So you have to be mindful with that, man. You have to be mine for that, man. And like I say, man, you know, I appreciate the love and the support. I really do, man. I don't take this for granted, man. I enjoy doing this, man. I take pride in this. I love this. I love you guys. I appreciate it, man. I didn't ever thought that it would take off like this, but I'm grateful because I'm humble and I'm consistent.
