- 0:58Speaker 2: You know, use.
- 1:01Speaker 8: Turn you gotta turn.
- 1:29Speaker 4: You got to turn the mouth turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 4: to turn mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Turn out the mon agapo loo. Come come on you
- 1:59Speaker 2: think that? Ah, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 9: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 9: come on, y'all dig me now. One and only Steve
- 2:10Speaker 9: Harvey got a radio show man. Is God good to me? Unbelievable?
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, he is.
- 2:17Speaker 9: And I can only attribute it to one thing. It's
- 2:21Speaker 9: just been a turnaround in my life. It's been me
- 2:25Speaker 9: finally making decision to see what all God has for me,
- 2:29Speaker 9: but at the same time trying to be more God
- 2:31Speaker 9: want me to be instead of more of what I
- 2:34Speaker 9: want to be.
- 2:35Speaker 2: That's the trade off.
- 2:36Speaker 9: You know, you gotta do something now, you know you
- 2:38Speaker 9: know you want God's blessings, You got to be willing
- 2:40Speaker 9: to do something on his behalf. And I'm not saying
- 2:44Speaker 9: I got it right right now because I'm just being
- 2:48Speaker 9: real with you.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I don't.
- 2:49Speaker 9: I don't have it all together by any stretch of imagination.
- 2:53Speaker 9: I'm trying to get better in several areas. I'm praying
- 2:56Speaker 9: about it, I'm working on it. But you know, it's
- 2:59Speaker 9: a process, and I've grown to accept the process. But
- 3:04Speaker 9: I'm improving in a lot of areas from day to day.
- 3:06Speaker 9: But I'll tell you what, Man, my success, all that's
- 3:09Speaker 9: going on with me, I can only attribute to this turnaround.
- 3:14Speaker 9: And the turnaround was simple. I turned around and started
- 3:17Speaker 9: looking at God. That was the simple move.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Man. I just turned around and started looking at him,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and I was going, Okay, I get it. Now, you
- 3:26Speaker 2: created me. You're the creator. You have a purpose for me.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I understand that.
- 3:32Speaker 7: Now.
- 3:33Speaker 9: Now let me just walk in that purpose and let
- 3:36Speaker 9: me get to doing that purpose. Now, my purpose and
- 3:39Speaker 9: your purpose and their purpose and anybody's perfect purpose could
- 3:43Speaker 9: be different, and the way you go about the purpose
- 3:47Speaker 9: can be different.
- 3:49Speaker 2: And that's the part that I've really grown up to.
- 3:51Speaker 9: I've opened up my mind to understanding that everybody's different,
- 3:56Speaker 9: nobody's quite the same, and that is not my right
- 3:59Speaker 9: or position to judge, but to be of a forgiving
- 4:03Speaker 9: spirit and understand and forgive.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Those as I ask God to forgive me. See that's
- 4:09Speaker 2: the key. That's the key, y'all.
- 4:11Speaker 9: So when you're out here and you stuck on this unforgiveness,
- 4:14Speaker 9: understand in the large Prayer as a segment that says,
- 4:20Speaker 9: forgive us our trustpasses, as we forgive those who trustpass
- 4:24Speaker 9: against us. There's another version says forgive us our debts
- 4:27Speaker 9: as we forgive our debtors. It's two different versions, but
- 4:31Speaker 9: either one it means the exact same thing. It means
- 4:36Speaker 9: simply this, that you are asking God to forgive yours
- 4:42Speaker 9: like you forgive others. Forgive us our trust passes as
- 4:46Speaker 9: we forgive those who trustpass against us. When I cross
- 4:49Speaker 9: the line with you, God handle me the way I
- 4:53Speaker 9: handle people when they cross the line with me. You
- 4:56Speaker 9: feel what I'm saying to you, See, you understand that
- 4:58Speaker 9: that's the breakdown of best way I can give it
- 5:01Speaker 9: to you. Forgive us our trustpasses as we forgive those
- 5:05Speaker 9: who trustpass against us. Forgive me God for stepping over
- 5:09Speaker 9: the line, like I forgive those that step over the
- 5:12Speaker 9: line on me.
- 5:13Speaker 2: That's the hard part, man, That's the part man I've
- 5:17Speaker 2: really been working on.
- 5:18Speaker 9: I've been really trying to get that together and So
- 5:21Speaker 9: I've learned forgiveness a lot better over the past five
- 5:24Speaker 9: years than I have before, and it's paid off. I
- 5:28Speaker 9: can't tell you how it's paid off, because now God's
- 5:32Speaker 9: mercy and grace is all over me, because I've learned
- 5:36Speaker 9: to become more graceful.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Now I ain't graceful like him. I ain't merciful like him,
- 5:44Speaker 2: but I've learned to become more more graceful, more merciful,
- 5:49Speaker 2: because man, I can't live my life like that. I
- 5:51Speaker 2: just got sick of me. Man, you mad at me
- 5:53Speaker 2: now I'm mad at you. You hating on me?
- 5:56Speaker 9: Now I'm more hate on you. I ain't got time
- 5:58Speaker 9: for that, man, I got you. Look here, you got
- 6:01Speaker 9: somewhere to go. Hate take up time. It's time consuming.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Hating. Trying to seek revenge just time consuming.
- 6:11Speaker 9: It take up way too much of your time to
- 6:13Speaker 9: seek revenge when vengeance ain't really yours. That's another one.
- 6:18Speaker 9: Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. It ain't yours. So
- 6:22Speaker 9: now when you go to seek it to take it out,
- 6:24Speaker 9: guess what you're doing. You're doing something now, man. Now
- 6:28Speaker 9: you off in the area that you got no business
- 6:31Speaker 9: being in, and instead of steady climbing your letter like
- 6:34Speaker 9: you're supposed to.
- 6:35Speaker 2: You didn't take out time for vengeance.
- 6:38Speaker 9: To hate. I'm a hater. I'm a be a blogger.
- 6:42Speaker 9: I'm a blog about so and so. When you're blogging
- 6:46Speaker 9: about somebody, and most of these people you don't even
- 6:49Speaker 9: know when you're blogging about somebody, what.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You're doing, what you hating. It takes time to hate.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Man.
- 6:57Speaker 9: I just decided, Man, I gotta take all my time
- 7:02Speaker 9: and instead of have doing time and being active, I
- 7:06Speaker 9: got to be proactive. See some people get that confused,
- 7:10Speaker 9: being active and being proactive. Pro is positive. Pro means
- 7:15Speaker 9: to move forward. You know, if you put pro in
- 7:19Speaker 9: front of most words, it's a positive influence. You know,
- 7:22Speaker 9: there's the pros and the cons. The pros is the
- 7:26Speaker 9: good side, the cons is what can go wrong, the
- 7:28Speaker 9: bad side. You know, if you're active, that's one thing.
- 7:32Speaker 9: But if you proactive, you're going forward in a positive direction.
- 7:37Speaker 9: When you become a pro that means you the best
- 7:40Speaker 9: of the best at whatever it is you chosen to be.
- 7:43Speaker 9: I'm a pro so somehow, and I'm no English teacher
- 7:49Speaker 9: or grammatical god. The word pro a lot of times
- 7:53Speaker 9: when you put it in front of something means positiveness.
- 7:57Speaker 9: So now a lot of people think that if you
- 7:59Speaker 9: just active, something aught to happen. Well, I'm doing something,
- 8:03Speaker 9: and that's what happens.
- 8:04Speaker 7: Man.
- 8:04Speaker 9: We just find ourselves doing a lot of busy work
- 8:07Speaker 9: that really ain't about nothing and ain't going nowhere. It
- 8:09Speaker 9: ain't got no direction or no purpose because we haven't
- 8:12Speaker 9: tried to find out the direction of a purpose. So
- 8:14Speaker 9: you wake up and you and your wheels are spinning.
- 8:18Speaker 9: You a hamster on a treadmill. You're running real fast,
- 8:20Speaker 9: but you're just going in the same spot. You understand
- 8:23Speaker 9: that's cause you just out here being active instead of proactive.
- 8:27Speaker 9: Why don't you get God in your life? Why don't
- 8:29Speaker 9: you turn and face your creator and find out how
- 8:32Speaker 9: to become more proactive so you can do things to
- 8:36Speaker 9: move yourself forward. How you can get your life off
- 8:39Speaker 9: the ground and get off the treadmill and really get
- 8:42Speaker 9: it rolling in the direction that it needs to be going. Man,
- 8:45Speaker 9: I'm telling you, God can make that change for you
- 8:49Speaker 9: if he see you making the change for him. See
- 8:52Speaker 9: the whole key, man, the whole key is you got
- 8:55Speaker 9: to be willing to do something. You got to give
- 8:58Speaker 9: God something to bless bless me God. And then you
- 9:02Speaker 9: go sit on your couch and you ain't trying. Okay,
- 9:05Speaker 9: bless me God.
- 9:06Speaker 7: With what.
- 9:07Speaker 2: What are you working with?
- 9:10Speaker 9: He can't have the people hire you if you ain't
- 9:12Speaker 9: put the app in. Come on, man, the blessing comes
- 9:15Speaker 9: when you make a proactive step, when you try to
- 9:19Speaker 9: do something on the positive side. Look, man, I'm gonna
- 9:23Speaker 9: quit messing around with all these people. I'm gonna start
- 9:25Speaker 9: going home. I'm gonna leave these women alone out here.
- 9:28Speaker 9: You got to say, all right, man, I ain't going
- 9:30Speaker 9: over there tonight. I just ain't gonna get then. God
- 9:33Speaker 9: can work with you. God help me stop seeing all
- 9:37Speaker 9: these women. But you steady going over there calling them
- 9:40Speaker 9: setting up stuff. We can't nobody help you because once
- 9:44Speaker 9: you get over there, you already know. See. You gotta
- 9:48Speaker 9: get proactive. You gotta do something yourself. You make one step,
- 9:52Speaker 9: he'll make two. That's the key man. So come on, y'all.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 9: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome once again to this wonderful day.
- 10:08Speaker 9: It's a new one. God gave it to us. We
- 10:11Speaker 9: show appreciate it. Thank you, man, just thank you.
- 10:14Speaker 2: What a woof.
- 10:16Speaker 9: It's a good thing to be still here, man, Still
- 10:18Speaker 9: here is such a great opportunity. And I'm gonna take
- 10:21Speaker 9: advantage of the day. I'm gonna be grateful. I'm gonna
- 10:24Speaker 9: put a smile on my face. I'm gonna go through
- 10:26Speaker 9: my day with gratitude. I'm gonna go through my day
- 10:28Speaker 9: with filled with expectation and anticipation of all the good
- 10:33Speaker 9: things God has in store for me. I invite you
- 10:35Speaker 9: to do the same thing, because that's how we roll

- 10:47Speaker 1: Yeah, dealing with some personal issues right.
- 10:51Speaker 2: On hiatus, that's what they call it.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Call it hiatus, which crowd when you take time off vacation. Yet, no,
- 11:00Speaker 1: you should know, take.
- 11:01Speaker 10: It off, take off on Monday's Carl and let's not
- 11:05Speaker 10: be that's let's not go crazy here. You know when
- 11:07Speaker 10: I take off, I take off on my Okay.
- 11:09Speaker 5: So today's frial. Yeah, but it got the attitude about
- 11:14Speaker 5: always like.
- 11:15Speaker 10: He's right, Junior, fourth Friday, what are you talking about
- 11:22Speaker 10: are you counting his days?
- 11:25Speaker 2: So we do have some questions lots. Well, he's gonna
- 11:29Speaker 2: have to answer when he gets back.
- 11:32Speaker 1: This is Labor Day weekend, you know that big holiday,
- 11:35Speaker 1: big holiday, last holiday of the summer. Give us a
- 11:39Speaker 1: Labor Day story from your childhood, your adulthood, something, I
- 11:43Speaker 1: know you have something.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't really see. Labor Day in my neighborhood
- 11:51Speaker 2: was just off.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, three day weekend. It's the last holiday of the summer.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Do you flip your closet this weekend? You take out
- 12:01Speaker 5: your summer clothes closet.
- 12:03Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, it won't happen this weekend, but eventually it
- 12:08Speaker 9: has to take the turn. I'm still old school. All
- 12:12Speaker 9: ores and whites got to get put.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Away and to make way for the navies and the
- 12:18Speaker 1: black cash meal. You know, wool pack coats, you know,
- 12:24Speaker 1: do you wear.
- 12:25Speaker 2: White after Labor Day?
- 12:26Speaker 4: Though?
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't like here.
- 12:29Speaker 9: If I'm overseas, yeah, because they don't know. But I'm
- 12:35Speaker 9: still Cleveland, so I can't wear it after Labor Day.
- 12:38Speaker 1: But if it's a wool or something, you can't winter white.
- 12:42Speaker 1: You can wear winter white.
- 12:43Speaker 9: You could wear winter white, but it has to be
- 12:45Speaker 9: the fabric too, has to be winter fabric.
- 12:48Speaker 2: That's according to the law of dressing.
- 12:51Speaker 1: But that's really you're saying, it's according to the fabric.
- 12:55Speaker 5: So you can't wear white linen in the fall because
- 12:58Speaker 5: linen Thanksgiving and no LA is listening.
- 13:02Speaker 1: They're not gonna like that.
- 13:05Speaker 2: LA does. It is off. They don't care.

- 13:26Speaker 2: A height we don't have. Yeah, well that code had
- 13:29Speaker 2: about four coats under.
- 13:31Speaker 1: It was cold. Hearing about the color coming up at
- 13:38Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear from the

- 27:03Speaker 2: Okay, yes, it's a whole lot he ain't.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Yeah, because it seems like a lot of women would
- 27:07Speaker 1: sign up for this.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Moving on to Vita in Cincinnati. Vita says, I finally
- 27:15Speaker 1: slept with the guy I've been dating for five months. Afterwards,
- 27:19Speaker 1: he said he was calling me an uber because he
- 27:21Speaker 1: didn't feel like driving me home. I thought I was
- 27:24Speaker 1: spending the night. At the least he could have driven
- 27:27Speaker 1: me home. Is this a problem?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yes, a problem?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Yeah, after five.
- 27:35Speaker 9: Mins, I almost got it. Get out uber, Wow, he
- 27:39Speaker 9: thought you was spending the night.
- 27:40Speaker 1: He didn't. And why do you think that is? After
- 27:45Speaker 1: five months she waited, well beyond the ninety days Steve
- 27:49Speaker 1: that you talked about in your book early on.
- 27:54Speaker 9: Well you know, he he he, he don't want you
- 27:59Speaker 9: to spend the night. Call it uber, not driving your home.
- 28:02Speaker 9: That's disrespectful, very much.
- 28:05Speaker 1: So, yeah, he's gonna kick her out.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to go. I can't stay here.
- 28:12Speaker 1: That's horrible. Yeah, after five months of dating though.

- 28:22Speaker 1: But I hate that She said, is this a problem?
- 28:25Speaker 1: Because she should know that. Yes, it's a major problem.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, it's a problem. Yeah, you got had and
- 28:31Speaker 2: then you got put out? What else you need to know?
- 28:36Speaker 1: The best thing she could do is what move on
- 28:38Speaker 1: from this and learn?
- 28:41Speaker 7: No.
- 28:42Speaker 9: I mean it could be a one off. You could
- 28:44Speaker 9: just say, hey, listen, this can't happen anymore. I'm not
- 28:47Speaker 9: this type of person. I thought you would treat me differently.
- 28:50Speaker 9: But if that's how you're going to treat me, that's
- 28:52Speaker 9: unacceptable for me. And so I don't intend to be
- 28:56Speaker 9: put in this position again. I like you, I enjoy
- 29:00Speaker 9: but I don't think you understand how to properly treat
- 29:03Speaker 9: a person. And I'm not gonna accept this and just
- 29:06Speaker 9: leave it at that. You don't have to be nasty
- 29:08Speaker 9: or break up and none like they'll accuse him or nothing.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Just said, I'm not gonna be treated like this and
- 29:13Speaker 2: then let him figure it out from what what about you?
- 29:16Speaker 6: Uber?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Well, you know I ain't come over here in Uber?
- 29:21Speaker 1: Yeah he's probably yeah, all right on moving on to
- 29:27Speaker 1: Justin and Slide l Justin writes, for months, I've been
- 29:31Speaker 1: talking to a lady online and she just told me
- 29:33Speaker 1: that she lives with a male roommate. I was going
- 29:36Speaker 1: to see her and stay at her house, but now
- 29:38Speaker 1: I'm uncomfortable with staying there. She said, it's fine. Should
- 29:43Speaker 1: I get a room instead?
- 29:45Speaker 9: Yeah? Dog, yeah yeah, or else you's gonna be sitting
- 29:50Speaker 9: up in there in that room and you're not gonna
- 29:54Speaker 9: you know, you know, you're not.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Gonna know what's happening at all, So.
- 30:01Speaker 1: So get a room.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Don't stay with her. Uh uh No, what's gonna happen
- 30:09Speaker 2: if you stay with No, it's not gonna work out.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, thank you, Celak.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Stay with her.
- 30:15Speaker 9: Dog Welcome you got Butcher and I are standing over
- 30:17Speaker 9: you telling why you're there with my girl.
- 30:20Speaker 1: They're just roommates. She's saying what she's saying.
- 30:23Speaker 2: He didn't say that.
- 30:24Speaker 1: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:27Speaker 1: Thank you, Celo. We'll have some entertainment news for you
- 30:30Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Legendary
- 30:39Speaker 1: mamager Chris Jenner has confirmed what we all suspected anyway,
- 30:44Speaker 1: that she recently underwent a facelift.
- 30:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 30:47Speaker 1: She said it in an interview with Vogue, calling it
- 30:50Speaker 1: quote her version of aging gracefully. Sixty nine year old
- 30:54Speaker 1: Jenner shared that her procedure was a follow up to
- 30:57Speaker 1: one done fifteen years ago, and she did it to
- 31:00Speaker 1: feel and look like her best self. Jenner explained that
- 31:04Speaker 1: sharing personal parts of her life, like getting a hip replacement,
- 31:08Speaker 1: can be inspirational. She said, quote, just because you get older,
- 31:12Speaker 1: it doesn't mean you should give up on yourself. So
- 31:15Speaker 1: as we all get older, here's the question. Now, are
- 31:18Speaker 1: you open to having work done to look like or
- 31:22Speaker 1: feel like your best self?
- 31:24Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 31:24Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm I'm considering getting a lip lift because you know,
- 31:29Speaker 9: I've been dragging this this thing around these lips for
- 31:33Speaker 9: sixty eight years and they getting heavy.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Man, I'm just trying.
- 31:38Speaker 9: Doing a lip lift, so, you know, because I can
- 31:41Speaker 9: hear my mama every now and nick boy close your
- 31:43Speaker 9: mouth for a fly fly, and I had to do
- 31:45Speaker 9: that every now and then, and I'm just tired of
- 31:47Speaker 9: doing it.
- 31:48Speaker 2: So I was thinking about getting a lip lift.
- 31:50Speaker 1: A lift?
- 31:51Speaker 2: Is that a thing?
- 31:52Speaker 1: A lift?
- 31:53Speaker 7: No?
- 31:54Speaker 2: What I was thinking about doing.
- 31:55Speaker 9: I'm gonna get the corners sold together a little bit
- 31:58Speaker 9: so to just hold the lift up.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah. Most people get injections to make their lips bigger.
- 32:06Speaker 1: And you have that and you want to lips.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I could sell a lip fat like a big.
- 32:21Speaker 9: You get real instead of getting botops put in wyn't
- 32:23Speaker 9: you just get real lip fat?
- 32:25Speaker 2: It's people like us, black people black Tell me what
- 32:31Speaker 2: you've been thinking about getting done.
- 32:32Speaker 9: Let me let me if I can get some squalls here,
- 32:36Speaker 9: have some apps?
- 32:38Speaker 1: Oh you want I think they're doing? They can do that.
- 32:41Speaker 2: They're doing a yeah, they're doing.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Well, that's not what you thought you were going to say, though.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Put that on your forehead.
- 32:52Speaker 9: Or I gotta put them where somebody can see them,
- 32:56Speaker 9: because you put them on your ASBs.
- 32:57Speaker 2: We all want. We ain't gonna see them.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I thought he was gonna say leg extension surgery because
- 33:05Speaker 1: they are doing that as well. Yeah, yeah, that's the thing.
- 33:10Speaker 1: That's the thing now.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I bought him some uh pads for his shoes one Christmas.
- 33:14Speaker 2: He appreciate it. Appreciate always got a gag gift. I
- 33:21Speaker 2: ain't never just a legitimate gift.
- 33:23Speaker 1: He was ungrateful.
- 33:26Speaker 9: Two inches putting made two inches, but his heel kept
- 33:28Speaker 9: pop coming up out of his shoes. And here, man,
- 33:36Speaker 9: I had a dude on my TV show one time
- 33:38Speaker 9: who was short, and he had them things in the bottom,
- 33:42Speaker 9: put them h ledges in the bottom of his shoe
- 33:45Speaker 9: and make him two inches taller. But his heel didn't
- 33:47Speaker 9: fit all the way down in the shoe now, so
- 33:49Speaker 9: had to tie his shoe real tight, and when he walked,
- 33:52Speaker 9: you could see his sh flip coming up off the
- 33:55Speaker 9: shoes when he walked. So he had on some some
- 33:58Speaker 9: lace ups that was going on like flip flops.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I would do.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Blast surgery too, though, Yeah, yeah, go ahead, what would
- 34:12Speaker 5: you do mommy makeover whole thing?
- 34:17Speaker 4: All it?

- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't.
- 34:27Speaker 2: What is it but breast waists?
- 34:29Speaker 11: What is it?
- 34:30Speaker 1: It's like your waist area. Yeah, like the Tommy tuck
- 34:33Speaker 1: and all of that Tommy tuck light bulb whatever.
- 34:36Speaker 2: And it's called what mommy makeo? Mommy make what? What
- 34:41Speaker 2: is a daddy makeover?

- 35:04Speaker 1: Would you safety mess around?
- 35:06Speaker 2: Ain't nobody gonna want you?
- 35:10Speaker 1: Get a breast reduction?
- 35:11Speaker 2: What did y'all messing with the assets for? Literally?
- 35:18Speaker 9: And Chris saying this in front of everybody. Everybody don't
- 35:22Speaker 9: want to hear this.
- 35:23Speaker 7: You know.
- 35:23Speaker 9: I think it's rude when you just bring it up
- 35:25Speaker 9: in front of everybody. You see how they hell they
- 35:27Speaker 9: head down, they paying no attention.
- 35:29Speaker 2: No more rezooms.
- 35:31Speaker 4: What do you mean?

- 52:52Speaker 11: You got to be out of your mind. We're not
- 52:53Speaker 11: talking about ice. This isn't chicken wings. Or a port shoulder.
- 52:57Speaker 11: He's a popaul.
- 52:59Speaker 7: You are out of your mine, man. But but listen
- 53:02Speaker 7: to me, dal Dale, Listen to what I'm gonna You
- 53:04Speaker 7: understand how serious it is. I have to keep them frozen.
- 53:08Speaker 7: That's the reason why I'm calling you. I mean your
- 53:10Speaker 7: help man.
- 53:11Speaker 11: Yeah, I understand that.
- 53:12Speaker 7: Look, if you want to, I'll have you come in
- 53:14Speaker 7: get buy your own freezer.
- 53:15Speaker 11: You can put your own bodies in your own freezer.
- 53:18Speaker 11: How much fuss to show off my showroom with frozen
- 53:21Speaker 11: bodies in the freezer?
- 53:22Speaker 7: But just just don't just don't show that one for
- 53:25Speaker 7: a couple of days, you know what I'm saying, don't
- 53:27Speaker 7: just don't show it all. We'll just come you know what.
- 53:29Speaker 7: You know here we could do. We could put the
- 53:31Speaker 7: bodies in there, just cover them up and people don't
- 53:33Speaker 7: want to know what it is.
- 53:34Speaker 11: Yeah, and then I get a buyer that comes in
- 53:36Speaker 11: and the cover falls off it and I got a
- 53:38Speaker 11: frozen dead body in my freezer. Is that even legal?
- 53:41Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Man.
- 53:42Speaker 7: All I'm saying is here's the deal. Man, you can't
- 53:46Speaker 7: highly recommend it. They told me that you will probably
- 53:48Speaker 7: show me so love. I'm actually, you know, getting ready
- 53:51Speaker 7: to load up and come your way.
- 53:53Speaker 11: Dude, you keep those dead bodies away from my store.
- 53:57Speaker 11: I'm telling you right now, I can't hook you up
- 54:00Speaker 11: this one, all right.
- 54:01Speaker 7: I just can't do it, Okay, But we shouldn't the
- 54:03Speaker 7: load up and come that weight though.
- 54:05Speaker 4: Man.
- 54:05Speaker 7: So you know what I'm saying. I mean, what am
- 54:09Speaker 7: I supposed to do?
- 54:10Speaker 11: I have no you know what you want to come
- 54:12Speaker 11: talk to me. You want to buy a freezer for yourself,
- 54:15Speaker 11: and you want to freeze your dead bodies on your own.
- 54:17Speaker 11: I don't care. I'll tell you a freezer. I got
- 54:19Speaker 11: no problem with telling you a freezer. But you're not
- 54:21Speaker 11: bringing the bodies here. It's just not happening.
- 54:24Speaker 7: So if Alonzo, if Alonzo calls you and green lights,
- 54:29Speaker 7: is it okay?
- 54:30Speaker 11: Then I highly doubt Alonzo's gonna call me and tell
- 54:34Speaker 11: me to put three debts bodies and on our showroom
- 54:38Speaker 11: for a freezer.
- 54:40Speaker 7: I made out that, okay, okay, but but but guess
- 54:44Speaker 7: what Alonzo told me?
- 54:46Speaker 11: What are Alonzo telling you?
- 54:48Speaker 7: Alonzo told me to give you a call. He told
- 54:51Speaker 7: me to give you a foot phone call. This is
- 54:54Speaker 7: not from the steel off in morning. Come on, are
- 54:58Speaker 7: you selling.
- 55:00Speaker 11: Okay, I'm having my check hurt.
- 55:08Speaker 7: Oh oh geez that guy. Oh you you just got
- 55:12Speaker 7: branked by your GM baby. That's right here, A man,
- 55:18Speaker 7: give me one more thing. You gotta tell me. It

- 56:48Speaker 1: It is a Strawberry letter subject my boss wants to
- 56:52Speaker 1: whip me again. A disclaimer if you have young children
- 56:57Speaker 1: anywhere around you, you do not want them to hear
- 56:59Speaker 1: this letter, okay, Dear Stephen Shirley. It says I'm a
- 57:03Speaker 1: thirty one year old single black man and about two
- 57:06Speaker 1: months ago I was not ready to settle down yet,
- 57:09Speaker 1: so I was mingling and dating. After countless failures with
- 57:13Speaker 1: meeting women, I finally came across a much older woman
- 57:17Speaker 1: who was on the same page that I was on.
- 57:20Speaker 1: She only wanted sex and that's it. She invited me
- 57:23Speaker 1: to her house one evening, and from the moment I
- 57:26Speaker 1: got there, it started getting heated. We were kissing and
- 57:29Speaker 1: grinding on her sofa, and as it was about to
- 57:33Speaker 1: go down. She left me on the sofa and went
- 57:35Speaker 1: upstairs to her room, and she told me to give
- 57:38Speaker 1: her ten minutes. So I undressed and went upstairs, and
- 57:43Speaker 1: it was pitch black. She told me where to go,
- 57:47Speaker 1: and I followed her voice into a room where all
- 57:50Speaker 1: I heard was jingling keys and metal clinging, and something
- 57:54Speaker 1: that sounded like a towel was hitting a mattress. The
- 57:58Speaker 1: noises stopped suddenly, and she said, I got something for you, baby,
- 58:03Speaker 1: and the lights came on. There were four adult toys
- 58:06Speaker 1: of different shapes and sizes, and she was wearing a
- 58:09Speaker 1: dog collar with a lot of gold chains hanging from it.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I looked over in the corner and there was a
- 58:17Speaker 1: huge dog cage on a platform. She took up her
- 58:21Speaker 1: launcherae and that I stood there in disbelief. I asked
- 58:28Speaker 1: where the dog was, because I don't like dogs. She
- 58:32Speaker 1: pulled out a belt and told me to get in
- 58:35Speaker 1: the cage while she whipped me several times on my
- 58:38Speaker 1: beer behind. I turned and ran so fast that I
- 58:42Speaker 1: almost fell down the stairs in the dark. I ended
- 58:46Speaker 1: up leaving my hat and my shirt, but I left
- 58:50Speaker 1: with my dignity. I did you now what I failed
- 58:54Speaker 1: to do. What I failed to mention is that she's
- 58:57Speaker 1: my direct supervisor and she's very unhappy be with how
- 59:00Speaker 1: I left. She's giving me major attitude because she wants
- 59:04Speaker 1: a do over. I really need my job, So how
- 59:09Speaker 1: do I fix this without getting whipped?
- 59:12Speaker 6: What lot.
- 59:20Speaker 1: With your boss? You conveniently left out the fact that
- 59:25Speaker 1: this woman was your boss. You conveniently left that out
- 59:30Speaker 1: until the very last part of the letter, and that's
- 59:33Speaker 1: because you probably knew we were going to tell you.
- 59:36Speaker 1: This was a very stupid move on your part. But
- 59:39Speaker 1: I do have to tell you this. I'm glad you
- 59:41Speaker 1: got out. I'm glad you survived it, even though you
- 59:44Speaker 1: almost fell down the stairs in the pitch black. You
- 59:47Speaker 1: said you guys talked about this beforehand, and she was
- 59:50Speaker 1: you guys were on the same page.
- 59:52Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 59:53Speaker 1: I don't think you're on the same page at all.
- 59:57Speaker 1: You you got to get out of there, h You're
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: gonna have to transfer to a different department, or you're
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: gonna have to get another job somewhere else. You should
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: be interviewing and doing all that you can do to
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: make that happen right now, And no matter how bad
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: her attitude is she is your boss, and you said
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: she's giving you major attitude. Whatever you do, there are
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: no do overs. Do not go back to that lady's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: house next time. She might tell you to get in
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the cage, lock you up with those jingling keys you
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: heard in the dark. Her kind of freakiness is a
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: little different, and you can really get hurt with all
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: the whipping and stuff, and this is just too crazy.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Stay away from her, do your job until you leave,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and then when you get out of there, don't look back,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: but please get out and get out now.
- 1:00:43Speaker 9: Steve, this is one of those letters. Well, I'm going
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: to use as a teaching moment a lot of young
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: brothers listening to this show.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Uncle Steve.
- 1:00:59Speaker 9: It's gonna walk you through some things that you need
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: to know when faced with anything similar to this. Let's
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: go now. He starts off by telling us who he is.
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: He's a thirty one year old single black man, and
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: he said, very confusingly, about two months ago, I was
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: not ready to settle down yet. I don't know where
- 1:01:22Speaker 9: that came from, because this whole letter has nothing about
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: you wanting a commitment of any kind. So you're just
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: telling us a story. You're thirty one years old and
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: you single, ready to mingle. That's what you should have said.
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: So I was mingling in Dayton. That's all you had
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: to say. Though, after countless failures with meeting women's no,
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: they weren't. They weren't countless failures. You're not looking for
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: a commitment, so any time relations fail, it's what you
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: weren't committed to. Any Way, after countless failures, well, you
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: didn't want no successes. It was just dating in Mingland,
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: so let's just stay honest, brothers. I finally came across
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: a much older woman who was on the same page.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: That I was on. She only wanted sex and that's it.
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: She invited me to her house one evening, and from
- 1:02:18Speaker 9: the moment I got there, it started getting heated. It
- 1:02:22Speaker 9: was kissing and grinding on the sofa. It was about
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: to go down. She left me on the sofa. Here's
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: the key. She left me on the sofa and went
- 1:02:32Speaker 9: upstairs to her room, and she told me to give
- 1:02:36Speaker 9: her ten minutes. But nah, yo, didn't listen.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: You're stupid.
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: Right after that said so I undressed and went upstairs
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: and it was pitch black boy, you got naked too early.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: All right hold that thought right there, right there, We've
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: all heard it.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Welcome, No, Tommy, I.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Know Part two of your response coming up Steve at
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour today Strawberry letter, subject,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: my boss wants to whip me.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: We'll be back right after this.

- 1:03:54Speaker 1: org slash try Fencing. Come on, Steve, let's recap this letter.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: The subject is Please there is a disclaimer with this
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: letter if you have small children. My boss wants to
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: whip me.
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: Thirty one year old young man is very confused about
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: what he wants and what he's expecting out of the
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: results from what he's actually doing.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: He's dating and mingling around. He's serious, he don't want
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: to settle down.
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: So now he's saying, after he's been meeting women, dating
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: and all failure after failure, because you don't want nothing.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: And it just proves that you.
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: Don't want nothing, because you said right after this, after
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: countless failures in meeting women, I finally came across much
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: older woman who was on the same page that I
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: was one.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: She only wanted sex and that's it. See.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: Boy, You've been wanting to get in relationships to women
- 1:04:48Speaker 9: that only want sex and that's it. And then when
- 1:04:52Speaker 9: it don't work out, you consider that a failure. Everybody
- 1:04:56Speaker 9: don't want to sign up for this foolishness. Ah, but
- 1:04:59Speaker 9: you to find old lady though, ain't got no problem
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: with it.
- 1:05:05Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:05:06Speaker 9: So you meet her, y'all on the same page, invite
- 1:05:08Speaker 9: you to a house. Soon as you got there, you
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: grinding on the couch. It's hot, heated. It then got
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: good boy, She left you on the sofa, went upstairs
- 1:05:19Speaker 9: to her room and told you to give her ten minutes. Yo,
- 1:05:24Speaker 9: jump it can't wait ten minutes? Why cause you yelled
- 1:05:29Speaker 9: after she said give her two minutes. Your reaction was
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: so I undressed and went upstairs and it was pitch black.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: What is y'all tup?
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Your fault?
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: She said?
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: Ten minutes? You up there too early, and your neked.
- 1:05:48Speaker 9: You took your clothes off, two things and to wood
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: upstairs and left your clothes downstairs. How stupid is yo?
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: Don't ever have your somewhere you can't reach them.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: That's the lesson rule.
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: There's so many lessons in this letter. Then I'm dressing
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: with them, saying it was pitch blackness cause you too merrily,
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: she said ten minutes. She ain't set up yet. She
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: told me where to go, and I followed her voice
- 1:06:24Speaker 9: into a room right here.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Never be naked in the dark following voices. Stupid that I'm.
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: Following the voice into a room where all I heard
- 1:06:39Speaker 9: was jingling keys and metal clinging and something that sounded
- 1:06:44Speaker 9: like a towel hitting the mattress.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: What is you kept walking towards the jingling.
- 1:06:55Speaker 9: And the towel hitting the mattress and your naked and KC.
- 1:07:00Speaker 9: Do you understand how stupid you are? The noises stopped suddenly,
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: and she said, I got something for.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: You, baby, And then the lights came on.
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: That was four adult toys of different shapes and sizes,
- 1:07:17Speaker 9: and she was wearing a dog collar with a lot
- 1:07:19Speaker 9: of gold chains hanging from it. I looked over in
- 1:07:22Speaker 9: the corner and that was a huge dog cage on
- 1:07:24Speaker 9: the platform.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: See, I would have missed all listen why because I'm old?
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: First of all?
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: All O.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: All she to her was for me down stairs.
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: You ready.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Been about twelve minutes. Now what you're doing? But all
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: this because of the unknown.
- 1:07:50Speaker 9: I have my clothes on it just in case she
- 1:07:54Speaker 9: says something crazy from upstands I can get on out
- 1:07:58Speaker 9: the house downstairs and never.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Speaking her here. But now you're a nicked up standing.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: Nah.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: She cut the light on. You look over in the corner.
- 1:08:09Speaker 9: It's a huge dog cage on the platform on the
- 1:08:12Speaker 9: platforms he hend it dog can doing about the platform.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: She took off her lingerie and I stood there in disbelieve.
- 1:08:19Speaker 9: Probably cause you nicked, know your nicked. I asked where
- 1:08:25Speaker 9: the dog was because I don't like dogs. See right there,
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: you're black thump stairs with the potential German shepherd somewhere raw.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: So now you in the cage. You looking over there
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: at the cage you don't like dogs.
- 1:08:39Speaker 9: Potential German shepherd rot Wilder could be in the room,
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: but now you can.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: And now you and that nicked.
- 1:08:47Speaker 9: Now the reason this ain't working out for you food
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: because you're nicking. She's getting whipped and asked to get
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: in the cage. Is different when you fully clothed, But
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: now you nked and your clothes it downstairs.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: And the reason she can whoop you cross your it's
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: caught you, nickd it's out.
- 1:09:10Speaker 9: I turned and ran so fast, almost fell down the
- 1:09:15Speaker 9: steps in the dark because you slipping on them coffee,
- 1:09:18Speaker 9: cause your clothes is downstairs.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: I ended up leaving my hat and shirt cause you.
- 1:09:26Speaker 9: Couldn't find them, because you got to keep your clothes
- 1:09:30Speaker 9: where you can see them and reach them. Now you
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: the left your cat, You left your hat and your shirt.
- 1:09:36Speaker 9: Oh that's DNA Jo.

- 1:10:52Speaker 9: in this big dog cage. And now he's back at
- 1:10:54Speaker 9: work and the boss got an attitude because she wants
- 1:10:57Speaker 9: to do over. He really need his job. He know how,
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: he'll know how to handle this situation. So now let
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: me explain something to young boy. You're gonna have to
- 1:11:04Speaker 9: give her a due over. Keep your job, y'all. Shut up,
- 1:11:10Speaker 9: You shut up, Sureley, you answer your letter. He thirty one,
- 1:11:14Speaker 9: he can hand the list.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Go back in the door.
- 1:11:17Speaker 9: Nah, he don't go back in there. He got to
- 1:11:20Speaker 9: get a do over. He got to control this situation.
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: The do over is at a whtel. Can't bring all
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: these big dog cages.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Through that lobby, all these platforms and stuff.
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: You gonna get your do over is at the hotel
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: and tell her you bringing your own trump of toys.
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: And they gonna be no four door toys of different sizes,
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: because you're gonna end up wearing something if you ain't here.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Now coming there with some.
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: With a velvet rope, some fuzzy hand cuffs that don't click,
- 1:11:59Speaker 9: a feather tickler that don't do no damage, can't push nothing. See,
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: you gotta gotta have your little sex toys. Had to
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: have control on it. And can't have nothing in here
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: with a battery on it. Why because that because that
- 1:12:13Speaker 9: has switches with levels on it. You that'll get out
- 1:12:15Speaker 9: of control. Anything on high, it's gonna be shocking to
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: your I can't let nothing have a switch on it
- 1:12:23Speaker 9: that can go to high. High high is dangerous, okay,
- 1:12:30Speaker 9: that's all I want.
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: Yes, call her question what if on this do over
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: she doesn't like it because she's still his supervisor.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Well, you just didn't like it. I ain't who you
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: thought I was.
- 1:12:45Speaker 9: When you see me run out of his house once before,
- 1:12:48Speaker 9: you already know I ain't up to who you thought
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: I was. Yes, I'm scared of dogs. You got a
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: dog cage that we're gonna have a do over. But
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: I got a hotel and I have everything in now.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: You ain't coming there.
- 1:13:01Speaker 9: You had attitude, sex, that's all right, It's just this
- 1:13:07Speaker 9: ain't what I wanted. Well, you know this, This is
- 1:13:09Speaker 9: all I got.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Is this just one time? We do this due over
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: and then that's it. Ill If you.
- 1:13:15Speaker 9: Do it and you don't do it, well, she ain't
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: gonna want to have nothing else to do with you.
- 1:13:20Speaker 9: But at least you'll keep your job.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: It's hard to make naked decisions, though, it's hard.
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: Nothing with a battery and a switch and get out
- 1:13:40Speaker 9: of hand, no medium and high.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: So when you get caught.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: All right, this is from Tatiana. Steve in Kansas City,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Tasiana says I've been married for seven years and my
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: mother in law has become a third wheel since her divorce.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: She's always had a key to our house, but lately
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: she's been overbearing. She has her pajamas and toilet trees
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: at our house, and she's spent a lot of nights
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: in our guest room. Every Sunday, she cooks dinner at
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: our house, and last week she invited her new male
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: friend over to eat. My husband is not bothered by it,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: but I am. Do I let it go to keep
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: my husband and his mom happy? Or should I start
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: setting boundaries with her?
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: Wow?
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Well, you know it's your house. Is she supposed to
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: be there visiting or has she moved in?
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Well, it's like she's kind of back and forth. You
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: know she has things out there.
- 1:14:46Speaker 9: You gotta have You gotta set rules up as your
- 1:14:48Speaker 9: house your So I'm gonna have to understand they can't
- 1:14:51Speaker 9: let your mama come in there. Look, you marry your wife.
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: Your wife is the queen of the castle. Can't be
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: two queens. Your mama don't get to be queen at
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: your wife's house. Solid, it's not how it works. You're
- 1:15:03Speaker 9: out of order now, dog, you gotta let your wife
- 1:15:06Speaker 9: have a say so of what's happening in her house.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: So you have to set some boundaries.
- 1:15:12Speaker 9: Now if you don't want to hold woe over the house,
- 1:15:14Speaker 9: and you're gonna she's gonna have to quit cooking din
- 1:15:16Speaker 9: over there, go home and cook because we don't want
- 1:15:19Speaker 9: to make it.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Well, we don't want to know.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Pretty much. How does she say that though, you know,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: without offend or hurting feelings.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Yeah, she gonna hurt her feeling. You know, she's gonna
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: s she ain't gonna like you no more, that's right.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: And then her husband's gonna have a problem.
- 1:15:39Speaker 9: Right, Well, mom, something know the husband say something, Mama,
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: you got Well the husband he ain't gonna say nothing.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: He's not bothered by it.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: The husband, well, he's not gonna say nothing. It's his mama. Yeah,
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: cause you don't know.
- 1:15:55Speaker 9: This might be a mama's boy and all this here.
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: You ain't spend the night here. But I don't have
- 1:16:02Speaker 9: any laws like that. They come and stay, they go home.
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Then I don't have that problem, not at all. So
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: I can't relate.
- 1:16:11Speaker 10: I don't want my mama here and me holling and
- 1:16:13Speaker 10: can on like I'll be doing I don't want hand
- 1:16:15Speaker 10: and all that.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: That's too much, But.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: It's okay for your kids, is well?
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: They you know, they are welcome to leave. I have
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: said that, all of them. I have said that to
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: all of them.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: They go, Where are they gonna stay? Where are they gonna.
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: All?
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Right, we have another one, Steve. This is from Jeremy,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Jeremy and Woodbridge. Jeremy says, my brother and I fell
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: out years ago. When we got back cool again last year,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: he told me about the love of his life. She
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: happens to be a woman that was my side chick,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: and it looks like she was having sex with my
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: brother and I at the same time. I do not
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: want this to ruin our relationship again, So do I
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: keep my mouth shut?
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: Does act like it ain't happened though? That's all bringing
- 1:17:14Speaker 9: it up gonna bring a whole lot to come with it.
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: I just shut up.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he should be.
- 1:17:18Speaker 9: Well, what's the scenario anyway, Shirley, Am I fully understanding it?
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, he and his brother is a guy wrote it.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: He and his brother fell out. Now there, they fell
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: out years ago. Now they're cool again. But now he
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: just found out that the brother is dating and he
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: calls her the love of his life, a woman that
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: was his side chick. And he thinks that the woman
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: was sleeping with the brothers at the same time. God, okay,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: now that's the reaction we need.
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: You know, she real fine arts. You know that she
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: got to know that they brothers. Yeah, and that's low down,
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: That's what I'm saying. No this and used to be
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: his side ship.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: And that's why he doesn't want to say anything because
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: they just got back cool again and he just, let
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: me tell you, he doesn't want to ruin their relationship.
- 1:18:12Speaker 9: A man to whoop you behind his side piece. I'm
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: just trying to tell you, so this will go crazy.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: And what if his wife asked, what are you guys
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: fighting about?

- 1:25:12Speaker 5: All three day weekend, Labor day. Let's go bobuing you

- 1:25:29Speaker 9: you're not sure. I wouldn't see what my schedule look like.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well I got a question.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: All right, soon as I get back from Birmingham, I
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: am on the grill. What are you cooking?
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:25:46Speaker 10: I got that wagon steak girl, I got that. I
- 1:25:50Speaker 10: got some chicken in there, I got some some linked you.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Got some money.
- 1:25:58Speaker 11: First?
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: It was scabby? All right, all right, come on carl
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: it you got a question for Steve. Yeah, I saw
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: this on a line. What do you usually say to yourself?
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: When you fail at something, I mean.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: What I've always said is get up. It's okay.
- 1:26:19Speaker 9: If I fail at something, that always means something to
- 1:26:23Speaker 9: me that I gave it one heck of a shot,
- 1:26:27Speaker 9: because I don't fail with half attempts. I'm all in,
- 1:26:31Speaker 9: so I know I've given it and my best shot,
- 1:26:35Speaker 9: and if I fail at it, it wasn't meant to be.
- 1:26:38Speaker 9: And so now I take away from that the two
- 1:26:41Speaker 9: things that I always come away with all moments of adversity.
- 1:26:45Speaker 9: There's a lesson and a blessing, and I immediately go
- 1:26:49Speaker 9: to both of those things, so I never wallow in failure.
- 1:26:53Speaker 9: Failure is a part of the process. I've learned to
- 1:26:55Speaker 9: accept that over the years. It's okay. I'm gonna tell
- 1:26:59Speaker 9: you something that was really dope, man. That happened, and
- 1:27:02Speaker 9: I wish I had mentioned it at invest Fest. I
- 1:27:04Speaker 9: had thought about it. I said, Manam, if somebody asked
- 1:27:07Speaker 9: me this, I'm gonna share something with it. I know
- 1:27:11Speaker 9: this is gonna be failure because the road I'm traveling
- 1:27:14Speaker 9: is always hard. And one of my friends this year,
- 1:27:20Speaker 9: we were at the ranch talking and one of my
- 1:27:23Speaker 9: friends said to me, they said, love, why you always
- 1:27:27Speaker 9: take the hard road. I said, what you mean, man?
- 1:27:31Speaker 9: He said, every time? Why you always take the hard road?
- 1:27:34Speaker 10: Man?
- 1:27:35Speaker 9: I said, but brother, let me ask you something. What
- 1:27:38Speaker 9: makes you think I see two roads. See, I only
- 1:27:43Speaker 9: know the way. I already know that the way is
- 1:27:46Speaker 9: going to be hard. Already know that ain't no need
- 1:27:50Speaker 9: to take an easy path. You ain't gonna get nothing,
- 1:27:52Speaker 9: You're not gonna accomplish nothing. The easy road, that's not
- 1:27:57Speaker 9: the one you need to be on. That everybody that
- 1:28:00Speaker 9: it's crowded over there. Ricky Minor one of the greatest
- 1:28:05Speaker 9: band leaders I've ever worked with in this business. Him
- 1:28:08Speaker 9: and Race You to the Great Ones. He wrote a
- 1:28:11Speaker 9: book one time, and I loved the title of the book.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: He said.
- 1:28:14Speaker 9: The name of his book was Ain't no Traffic on
- 1:28:18Speaker 9: the Extra Mile. That was the dopest title of a
- 1:28:24Speaker 9: book I've ever read. Ain't no traffic on the extra mile.
- 1:28:29Speaker 9: If you go extra it's clear out there, it's clear.
- 1:28:34Speaker 9: So the road I'm always traveling is always the hard one,
- 1:28:39Speaker 9: because I already know what I want. The things I
- 1:28:43Speaker 9: want in life, they're going to be difficult to acquire.
- 1:28:47Speaker 9: I've gotten all the stuff that's easy to get, already
- 1:28:49Speaker 9: got all that what you know, So why would you
- 1:28:56Speaker 9: keep taking the easy road? If you have everything that's
- 1:28:59Speaker 9: on the easy road? What you over there for? You
- 1:29:02Speaker 9: got to take the hard road. But like I tell people,
- 1:29:05Speaker 9: like I told my pardoner, and I wish I had
- 1:29:07Speaker 9: said it, that invests first, what makes you think I
- 1:29:09Speaker 9: see two roads because I only see the way, and
- 1:29:14Speaker 9: I already know that the way is hard. It is
- 1:29:18Speaker 9: froth with pitfalls and land minds and hardships and tribulations,
- 1:29:24Speaker 9: and I expect that. So when I fail, I know
- 1:29:31Speaker 9: it's a part of the process, and I immediately know, well,
- 1:29:35Speaker 9: I got that out the way, so now I know
- 1:29:37Speaker 9: what else not to do, And knowing what not to
- 1:29:40Speaker 9: do is just as valuable as knowing what to do.
- 1:29:45Speaker 9: So now I'm one step closer to the goal. And
- 1:29:48Speaker 9: that's how you got to look at failure, man, because
- 1:29:50Speaker 9: it's not failure, it's gained experience. It's not failure, it's
- 1:29:55Speaker 9: a gained experience, and that experience can be valuable because
- 1:30:01Speaker 9: I'm telling you, if you live long enough, you will
- 1:30:03Speaker 9: know this to be true. It is just as good
- 1:30:07Speaker 9: to know what not to do sometimes as it is
- 1:30:10Speaker 9: to know what to do. My father used to tell
- 1:30:13Speaker 9: me all the time, son, when a fool is talking,
- 1:30:17Speaker 9: don't walk away, stay there, pay close attention. And I
- 1:30:22Speaker 9: used to be confusing to me. So I asked my
- 1:30:24Speaker 9: father once. I said, Daan, why would I stand there
- 1:30:26Speaker 9: talking to a fool? He said, because he's gonna teach
- 1:30:29Speaker 9: you a lot of stuff you need to know. I said,
- 1:30:31Speaker 9: what can I learn from a fool? He said, for starters,
- 1:30:34Speaker 9: what not to do and what not to say. He said,
- 1:30:39Speaker 9: that's that's valuable information. So failure for me is a
- 1:30:44Speaker 9: part of the process. Failure for me is a gained experience.
- 1:30:47Speaker 9: Failure for me is a lesson learned. Failure for me
- 1:30:51Speaker 9: is one step closer. So it's not really failure, y'all.
- 1:30:55Speaker 9: Just get up, keep going. That's what I've always done.
- 1:30:58Speaker 9: I thank God for that part He's instilled in me.
- 1:31:02Speaker 9: I've learned not to wallow there, lay in it because
- 1:31:05Speaker 9: guess what, this too shall pass? Wow, don't it always?
- 1:31:12Speaker 9: God is good, y'all?
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: He really is.
- 1:31:15Speaker 9: And God is available to you. He's available to anybody
- 1:31:19Speaker 9: who seeks him. If you call on him, he will answer.
- 1:31:25Speaker 9: If you seek him, he will appear. Stop thinking God
- 1:31:30Speaker 9: then walked away from you because he ain't. God is
- 1:31:32Speaker 9: always available. Hey, listen, y'all talk to God. He would
- 1:31:39Speaker 9: absolutely love to hear from you. And it don't matter
- 1:31:42Speaker 9: if it's been a while. Y'all have a good one. Man,
- 1:31:44Speaker 9: y'all stay in.
