- 0:00Speaker 1: Businesses are now being held hostage by Black Lives Matter activists.
- 0:05Speaker 1: In fact, it's gotten so bad that there were one
- 0:08Speaker 1: hundred business executives that were held hostage on a video.
- 0:13Speaker 1: They're being forced to come out and say no to
- 0:16Speaker 1: this new voting rules and laws. Now, this all has
- 0:20Speaker 1: stemmed from what happened in Georgia, and a group of
- 0:23Speaker 1: more than one hundred business community leaders joined a zoom
- 0:26Speaker 1: call to quote exports steps they could take to push
- 0:30Speaker 1: back against legislation being considered in state legislators legislatures across
- 0:35Speaker 1: the country that would tighten, as they describe it, voting laws.
- 0:39Speaker 1: This first being reported by the Washington Post. Now you
- 0:43Speaker 1: may wonder who is being held hostage and who was
- 0:46Speaker 1: forced to be on this call. Let me just give
- 0:48Speaker 1: you some of the top name brands Viacom, CBS, LinkedIn, Walmart,
- 0:55Speaker 1: Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Levi's, you know the gene comp DH,
- 1:01Speaker 1: Shaun Company, Paul Weiss, Cybercurt Merk, you know the shipping
- 1:06Speaker 1: company AMC, Starbucks, American Airlines, the Atlanta Falcons, Target, BCG.
- 1:14Speaker 1: These are just some of the major brands that were
- 1:18Speaker 1: on this call. You got a hundred companies joining together,
- 1:22Speaker 1: they now say quote pushing new voting legislation, are pushing
- 1:26Speaker 1: or fighting against it, depending on how you look at it. Now,
- 1:29Speaker 1: why did all these companies come together. It's because all
- 1:32Speaker 1: of these companies are now being held hostage by BLM
- 1:36Speaker 1: and by the extreme socialist Democratic Party. They're afraid of
- 1:40Speaker 1: being called racists. They're afraid of being accused of being
- 1:45Speaker 1: some sort of supporting company of racism. They're if that's
- 1:49Speaker 1: not enough, they're now saying, well, if you don't get
- 1:52Speaker 1: on the call, then you're maybe zenophobic. You may not
- 1:56Speaker 1: be supportive of Joe Biden, you're not supportive m infant structure.
- 1:59Speaker 1: And we also found out over the weekend that our
- 2:02Speaker 1: roads are now racists. Yes, that's what the Biden administration
- 2:06Speaker 1: is now selling. Mayor Pete said that racism quote is
- 2:10Speaker 1: physically built into our nation's highway That is what the
- 2:15Speaker 1: new transtation secretary suggested during an interview. That racism is
- 2:20Speaker 1: actually literally built into the nation's highway systems because well,
- 2:23Speaker 1: everything now in America, of course is racist, right, I
- 2:27Speaker 1: mean progressive now see think trades are actually racist. I'm
- 2:30Speaker 1: not joking. I'm gonna tell you about that in a
- 2:32Speaker 1: moment there are there is racism. He went on to say,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm referring to Mayor Pete physically built into some of
- 2:39Speaker 1: our highways, and that's why the job's plan has specifically
- 2:44Speaker 1: committed to reconnect some of the communities that were divided
- 2:47Speaker 1: by these dollars. That's what the South ben Indiana former
- 2:51Speaker 1: mayor said while speaking to a reporter April Ryan this
- 2:54Speaker 1: week in an interview that talked about President Joe Biden's
- 2:57Speaker 1: proposed two trillion dollar government slush fund that they're disguising
- 3:02Speaker 1: the name of an infrastructure plan. He says, our highways
- 3:07Speaker 1: are racists. Well, if you're in Washington, I'm told the
- 3:12Speaker 1: history of the highway is one that was built at
- 3:14Speaker 1: the expensive communities of color in the DC area. There
- 3:19Speaker 1: are stories, and I think Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and New
- 3:21Speaker 1: York are most famously saw through the construction of a
- 3:24Speaker 1: lot of these highways. Mayor Pete added that there has
- 3:27Speaker 1: been a lack of federal infrastructure project in black communities
- 3:30Speaker 1: throughout the history and said it was just an active neglect,
- 3:33Speaker 1: but rather a conscious It wasn't just an active neglect,
- 3:36Speaker 1: I should say, but rather a conscientious choice, and the
- 3:40Speaker 1: Biden administration is going to fix that through this spinning package. Now,
- 3:45Speaker 1: Biden touted his plan saying, we don't just fix this
- 3:48Speaker 1: for today, we're building for tomorrow. Two hundred years ago.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Trains weren't traditional infrastructure either, until America made a choice
- 3:55Speaker 1: to lay down tracks across the country. Biden added, highways
- 3:59Speaker 1: weren't tradish infrastructure until we allowed ourselves to imagine that
- 4:02Speaker 1: roads could connect our nation across state lines. So there
- 4:05Speaker 1: you have it right now. This is what they're selling you.
- 4:09Speaker 1: This insanity is what they're selling you, and that is
- 4:13Speaker 1: to imagine that the roads are racists. Therefore, we need
- 4:16Speaker 1: new roads that aren't racists, because that's how we sell
- 4:22Speaker 1: you on an infrastructure plan. We're now selling this plan
- 4:27Speaker 1: to leverage racial tension in this country as a means
- 4:30Speaker 1: of justification for putting together strategies to rebuild the country
- 4:35Speaker 1: in a socialist society. Now, let me go back to
- 4:39Speaker 1: these one hundred business executives who are meeting, and we
- 4:43Speaker 1: have an administration saying that our roadways are now racist.
- 4:47Speaker 1: This group of more than one hundred business community leaders
- 4:50Speaker 1: got on this zoom call because none of them wanted
- 4:52Speaker 1: to be called racists, right. They say they're now exploring
- 4:56Speaker 1: the next steps they could push to take back. There
- 4:59Speaker 1: can unities and take back and fight back legislation being
- 5:03Speaker 1: considered in state legislators across the country that would actually
- 5:07Speaker 1: make sure that we don't have a lot of fraud
- 5:09Speaker 1: and abuse in our system. It's also now an excuse
- 5:13Speaker 1: for them to not give money to Republicans. That's right.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Leaders of Delta American United, Starbucks target LinkedIn Levi Strauss
- 5:21Speaker 1: Boston consultant group all on this call are now saying, well,
- 5:25Speaker 1: maybe we shouldn't give to legislative legislators, governors, congressman, sentators
- 5:31Speaker 1: that actually support these laws. Two of the main avenues
- 5:37Speaker 1: apparently discussed. We're stopping number one, these donations to all
- 5:40Speaker 1: these politicians who support this legislation and also quote postponing
- 5:46Speaker 1: investment in states that approve these measures. Four people who
- 5:50Speaker 1: are on the call said that they believe that the
- 5:52Speaker 1: organizers a Yale management professor's goal is to make sure
- 5:55Speaker 1: that no Republicans get money from any of these companies
- 5:59Speaker 1: any longer. Let me play for you a little bit
- 6:04Speaker 1: of how this all was described on Fox News with
- 6:07Speaker 1: Steve Forbes, who responded, that's over the weekend on Zoom
- 6:12Speaker 1: about the new voting laws, like the one that's just
- 6:15Speaker 1: passed in Georgia. I want to bring Steve Forbes into
- 6:18Speaker 1: this because, look, Steve, whether we like it or not,
- 6:22Speaker 1: companies are now taking political sides. What do you make
- 6:26Speaker 1: of it? The key thing is on something like voting rights.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I think everyone isn't basic principles than favor of voting rights,
- 6:35Speaker 1: having fair and secure elections, or companies have to take
- 6:39Speaker 1: care of, especially with their brands. Is getting the particulars
- 6:43Speaker 1: right we learned in the case of Georgia, for all
- 6:46Speaker 1: of the emotions, George's new law is less restrictive than
- 6:50Speaker 1: the election laws of Delaware and New York and other
- 6:53Speaker 1: blue states, which, by the way, that doesn't matter of course,
- 6:55Speaker 1: right what Steve Forbes is now saying is the facts.
- 6:59Speaker 1: The is you moved a game from an area in
- 7:03Speaker 1: the country that desperately need the business because you lied
- 7:07Speaker 1: to the people about their laws, claiming they're restrictive because
- 7:10Speaker 1: Republicans put them in, and they're actually less restrictive than
- 7:13Speaker 1: these other liberal states, including the state where you're moving
- 7:16Speaker 1: the game to, which brings me to another part of
- 7:19Speaker 1: this story, business owners are now ripping Major League Baseball
- 7:23Speaker 1: for pulling the All Star Game from Atlanta, saying that
- 7:27Speaker 1: this is destroying their communities. These minority small business owners
- 7:33Speaker 1: are now getting together in Atlanta and they're blasting Major
- 7:36Speaker 1: League Baseball commissioner for pushing the very group they claim
- 7:41Speaker 1: to be defending by moving the All Star Game to Colorado.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Daryl Anderson is a black man owner of a limousine
- 7:47Speaker 1: service that would have likely seen a significant increase in
- 7:50Speaker 1: business during the All Star week. He now told the
- 7:53Speaker 1: Washington Free Beacon, of course, because no other news media
- 7:56Speaker 1: outlet would actually do their job and interview small business
- 7:58Speaker 1: owners minorities small business owners right, that this move deprived
- 8:03Speaker 1: minority business owners of a much needed opportunity to make
- 8:06Speaker 1: up financial losses from the pandemic. Quote, as the owner
- 8:09Speaker 1: of a transportation service in Atlanta, I know firsthand how
- 8:12Speaker 1: badly our community one of the All Star Game played here.
- 8:15Speaker 1: The one hundred million in revenue that this area was
- 8:18Speaker 1: going to see an opportunity for us to recover many
- 8:21Speaker 1: of the losses that we encouraged during the pandemic. Now,
- 8:24Speaker 1: not only is the revenue gone, we may lose even
- 8:28Speaker 1: more because now people are afraid to book conventions, people
- 8:33Speaker 1: are afraid to do big events, and they are afraid
- 8:36Speaker 1: of planning anything in the Atlanta area because of the
- 8:40Speaker 1: decision by Major League Baseball and people don't want the
- 8:43Speaker 1: negative pr Now, the Major League Commissioner Rob Manfred decide
- 8:48Speaker 1: to move the All Star Game from Atlanta after Georgia
- 8:50Speaker 1: passed a voter reform law to prevent fraudulent voting. Now
- 8:53Speaker 1: I go back to the story that everybody should be
- 8:55Speaker 1: talking about. By the way, with a commissioner, the Commissioner
- 8:58Speaker 1: Baseball as a member to gust National, I wonder if
- 9:01Speaker 1: he was at the Masters, right, If if the woke
- 9:04Speaker 1: community really wants to go after the Commissioner Baseball, you
- 9:07Speaker 1: should demand that he denounced the Masters, because the Masters
- 9:10Speaker 1: is clearly some evil, rich white man's club. Why is
- 9:16Speaker 1: it that he can still be a part of the Masters.
- 9:18Speaker 1: And Augusta, wouldn't you have to announce the Masters and
- 9:21Speaker 1: quit your membership? Resigned from the Masters? Of course not right,
- 9:23Speaker 1: because it's too much fun to play golf with the
- 9:26Speaker 1: greatest golf course in the world, and it's okay at
- 9:30Speaker 1: the same time to attack a community which on every
- 9:33Speaker 1: other day of the year when baseball season's end, you
- 9:35Speaker 1: have no problem with him spending their money with Atlanta
- 9:37Speaker 1: Braves in the same damn stadium that you just pulled
- 9:40Speaker 1: out of saying it's racist. The amount of hypocrisy from
- 9:44Speaker 1: Major League Baseball here is just purely disgusting. They are
- 9:48Speaker 1: And again, I wouldn't support Major League Baseball if I
- 9:50Speaker 1: lived in Atlanta at this point, no way. I wouldn't
- 9:52Speaker 1: go to the game. I wouldn't give them a dime.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I wouldn't watch the Atlanta Braves. I would make it
- 9:56Speaker 1: hurt because they don't believe what they're doing right now.
- 10:00Speaker 1: They're just playing to the lowest common denominator. Right they
- 10:03Speaker 1: saw an opportunity to scream, you know, BLM and did
- 10:07Speaker 1: not be a target of BLM. So they want your
- 10:10Speaker 1: money every day to support the Atlanta Braves and Major
- 10:12Speaker 1: League Baseball and to make them money. But except one
- 10:15Speaker 1: day of the year when they were gonna have the
- 10:16Speaker 1: All Star Game, and they want you to go that
- 10:18Speaker 1: stadium the weeks ahead of time and support every team
- 10:21Speaker 1: that plays they are in that stadium and the Atlanta Braves,
- 10:24Speaker 1: and every game after the All Star Game, they want
- 10:27Speaker 1: you to come there spend your money. But they said,
- 10:30Speaker 1: on this one day, we can't do it. We are
- 10:31Speaker 1: going to stand up because of these voting laws. And oh,
- 10:35Speaker 1: by the way, after I'm done watching the game, the
- 10:36Speaker 1: commissioner will go to Augusta National and play golf, not
- 10:40Speaker 1: denouncing the masters are Augusta National, of course, and having
- 10:43Speaker 1: no problem saying part of that club. After he says
- 10:46Speaker 1: the state is racist and we must pull our business
- 10:49Speaker 1: from the state. This all coming because Georgia passed a
- 10:53Speaker 1: voter reform law to prevent fraudulent voting. That's it. The
- 10:57Speaker 1: law's chief features include a provision requiring roof of ID
- 11:01Speaker 1: for mail in voting and limits of time period for
- 11:05Speaker 1: requesting an absentee ballot. Though despite criticism from Democratic politicians
- 11:10Speaker 1: and activists, the law significantly expands voting opportunities. The Job
- 11:15Speaker 1: Creators Network, a group that advocates advocates for small businesses,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and a letter to the Commissioner Mansfield, highlight the damage
- 11:21Speaker 1: done specifically to minority business and asking him to move
- 11:25Speaker 1: the game back to Atlanta. Quote. Your decision is punishing
- 11:28Speaker 1: the very groups you claim to be defending, is what
- 11:31Speaker 1: the Job Creator's Network. Alfonso Ortiz wrote, small businesses and
- 11:36Speaker 1: George are hurting and you pulled a multimillion dollar rug
- 11:39Speaker 1: out from underneath them. Don't let activist groups weaponize America's
- 11:43Speaker 1: pastime to push radical ideas that Major League Baseball fans
- 11:48Speaker 1: don't support. Anderson blasted the Union of Politicians and Corporations,
- 11:53Speaker 1: stating that nothing good can happen when politics mixes with sports, saying, quote,
- 11:58Speaker 1: when big business teams up with politicians, they make bad decisions,
- 12:03Speaker 1: and small businesses and their hard working employees suffer the most.
- 12:06Speaker 1: He's right, by the way, politics should be decided at
- 12:10Speaker 1: the ballot box. There's no place in making business decisions
- 12:13Speaker 1: like where to hold the All Star Game, and a
- 12:16Speaker 1: recent Rasmussen poll, by the way, a plurality of black
- 12:20Speaker 1: voters said they opposed Major League Baseball's decision to move
- 12:23Speaker 1: it's All Star game from Atlanta. A majority almost sixty
- 12:26Speaker 1: percent said it was a bad idea for sports teams
- 12:28Speaker 1: and athletes to get involved in politics as well. Nevertheless,
- 12:33Speaker 1: we're gonna hurt minorities and then we're gonna have a
- 12:37Speaker 1: hundred companies being held hostage. Getting on a zoom call
- 12:40Speaker 1: saying now we've got an opportunity to stop giving money
- 12:42Speaker 1: to Republican candidates. Delta American United, Starbucks Target LinkedIn Levi
- 12:49Speaker 1: all on this call. Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank was
- 12:53Speaker 1: also on the call. And then what they're gonna do
- 12:56Speaker 1: is they're saying we're gonna stop donations of politicians who
- 12:59Speaker 1: support this legislation. Let's go back to Forbes real quick again.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Listen to this from Fox over the weekend on zoom
- 13:10Speaker 1: about the new voting laws like the one that's just
- 13:13Speaker 1: passed in Georgia. I want to bring Steve Forbes into
- 13:16Speaker 1: this because, look, Steve, whether we like it or not,
- 13:19Speaker 1: companies are now taking political sides. What do you make
- 13:24Speaker 1: of it? The key thing is on something like voting rights.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I think everyone isn't basic principles in favor of voting rights,
- 13:33Speaker 1: having fair and secure elections or companies have to take
- 13:36Speaker 1: care of, especially with their brands. Is getting the particulars
- 13:41Speaker 1: right we learned in the case of Georgia for all
- 13:43Speaker 1: of the emotions, George's new law is less restrictive than
- 13:48Speaker 1: the election laws of Delaware and New York and other
- 13:50Speaker 1: Blue states. So if a company wants to weigh in
- 13:53Speaker 1: and put its brand on the line, get the facts right,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and weigh in saying this particular thing we don't think
- 13:59Speaker 1: is right, is wrong. But don't do these broadsides until
- 14:03Speaker 1: you get the particulars of each case. And so you're
- 14:07Speaker 1: going to see this around the country. But the key
- 14:09Speaker 1: thing is get the facts right before you weigh in. Okay,
- 14:15Speaker 1: Chris Wallace on fault, get the facts right. I don't
- 14:20Speaker 1: think the facts matter anymore. Right, it's not about the facts.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Eugene Daniels. He went on MSNBC saying not true that
- 14:31Speaker 1: they're dem controlled states with more restrictive voting laws than Georgia.
- 14:36Speaker 1: This is how much they'll lie on the other networks
- 14:39Speaker 1: to try to get you to believe this. Listen to
- 14:43Speaker 1: this and right now, the fact checkers could fact check
- 14:46Speaker 1: what was just said on MSNBC and they would immediately
- 14:49Speaker 1: know this a lie. But they're pushing these lies. That's
- 14:53Speaker 1: why you got a hundred businesses on a zoom call
- 14:55Speaker 1: saying all right now, we can use this as a
- 14:57Speaker 1: catalyst to stop giving money to any republic As or
- 15:01Speaker 1: conservatives that are in Congress or the state legislator or governors,
- 15:04Speaker 1: because we say that if you support these laws to
- 15:07Speaker 1: protect everyone's right to vote, protect the integrative vote. You're
- 15:10Speaker 1: a racist? Or were you when it made a difference? Eugene.
- 15:14Speaker 1: A Republican argument here is that voting laws are actually
- 15:17Speaker 1: more restrictive in a number of Democratic controlled states than
- 15:21Speaker 1: in Georgia. Does that argument have any truth to it?
- 15:24Speaker 1: Not really there as for you, I love that? Not really? Okay, Well,
- 15:28Speaker 1: then tell me what is where they're law lying here?
- 15:32Speaker 1: Do you have more days to vote in Georgia than
- 15:34Speaker 1: you do in Colorado where they move the age of
- 15:35Speaker 1: league baseball game? The answer is yes, you have more
- 15:38Speaker 1: opportunities to vote and more ways to vote. Yes. Is
- 15:42Speaker 1: it easier to get an absent de ballot in Georgia
- 15:43Speaker 1: than it is in Colorado? Yes? So again, tell me
- 15:48Speaker 1: as you have two hundred companies speaking out against subs
- 15:50Speaker 1: restrictive quote voting laws, that's what they say, and a
- 15:53Speaker 1: hundred companies on this zoom call this weekend trying to
- 15:55Speaker 1: figure out how they can take money away from Republican candidates.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Eugene Daniels, Please tell me, and she asked a question,
- 16:03Speaker 1: a loaded question, and you lied. Tell me how it
- 16:07Speaker 1: is easier to vote in Calorado than it is in
- 16:09Speaker 1: Georgia under the new laws. The Republican argument here is
- 16:12Speaker 1: that voting laws are actually more restrictive in a number
- 16:15Speaker 1: of democratic controlled states than in Georgia. Does that argument
- 16:18Speaker 1: have any truth to it? Not really, there's as per
- 16:23Speaker 1: usual with politics, it's not as easy as the side
- 16:25Speaker 1: wants it to be. And depending the part of the
- 16:27Speaker 1: Georgia law that would prevent people from getting food and water,
- 16:30Speaker 1: they point it to Delaware as having kind of a
- 16:32Speaker 1: similar law. It does not. That section of the state's
- 16:35Speaker 1: law is specifically tied to bribery. It doesn't even mention
- 16:39Speaker 1: food or water. New York does have a clause about
- 16:42Speaker 1: people not handing out food and drinks in near polling places,
- 16:45Speaker 1: but the caveat is that it has to be It
- 16:48Speaker 1: can happen if it's of little value, so less than
- 16:50Speaker 1: one dollar, which water certainly falls under. They also point to,
- 16:55Speaker 1: by the way, this is where they're just making up crap,
- 16:57Speaker 1: and I'm going to call them out on it. The
- 17:00Speaker 1: law in Georgia does not say that you can't give
- 17:02Speaker 1: somebody water. What it says is you can't give somebody
- 17:05Speaker 1: water and be doing it for a political purpose to
- 17:07Speaker 1: influence that person's vote. So, in other words, a candidate
- 17:13Speaker 1: or an advocacy group is not allowed to hand out
- 17:18Speaker 1: water or food under a dollar, because you could argue
- 17:21Speaker 1: that a slice of pizza is under a dollar. Right, Well,
- 17:25Speaker 1: if I'm sending in a line, you hand me a
- 17:27Speaker 1: piece of pizza, and then a few minutes later you
- 17:29Speaker 1: hand me a diet coke, or you hand me a
- 17:32Speaker 1: bottle of water, and you're with an advocacy group is
- 17:35Speaker 1: which is to defund the police, or be anti gun
- 17:39Speaker 1: or anti whatever, or to support a certain candidate or
- 17:43Speaker 1: a ballot initiative that is trying to influence the voters
- 17:46Speaker 1: while they're in line. We have laws against that. There
- 17:49Speaker 1: is nothing in the Georgia law that says that you
- 17:52Speaker 1: cannot have self serve water or have nonpartisan people that
- 17:55Speaker 1: give out water or food. Democrats keep pushing the narrative, however,
- 18:02Speaker 1: that we're wanting to starve people in line with these
- 18:05Speaker 1: new voting laws, which is just so dumb. A nonpartisan
- 18:10Speaker 1: individual can give out food or drink to somebody in line,
- 18:14Speaker 1: or they have no one standing at a place where
- 18:17Speaker 1: you can get water. If you are standing in line
- 18:20Speaker 1: to vote. The law is very simple in Georgia. You
- 18:26Speaker 1: can't be wearing a T shirt or supporting a certain
- 18:29Speaker 1: candidate or cause or ballot initiative and trying to use
- 18:33Speaker 1: someone wanting water or food in line to then secure
- 18:36Speaker 1: their vote. That is the problem. I think everybody should
- 18:42Speaker 1: understand that the NARA shouldn't be able to give out water.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Neither should the Brady campaign that's anti gun. Black Lives
- 18:50Speaker 1: Matter shouldn't be able to give out water. Neither should
- 18:52Speaker 1: the KKK. We don't want people being able to hand
- 18:57Speaker 1: out food and water, bribing people to vote for them,
- 18:59Speaker 1: or any other gifts. That's something we definitely do not
- 19:04Speaker 1: want to happen. That's something we don't want to happen period.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I think we can all agree that we don't want
- 19:11Speaker 1: that to happen. I think it's pretty important that we
- 19:14Speaker 1: make sure that that doesn't happen. That's part of securing
- 19:19Speaker 1: how people vote, making sure that people can't have too
- 19:23Speaker 1: much influence on how you vote. But again, MSNBC out there,
- 19:28Speaker 1: Eugene Daniels just lying about this, making it up on MSNBC,
- 19:33Speaker 1: telling you things that aren't true that it's easy to
- 19:35Speaker 1: fact check. But they don't stop him, because as long
- 19:37Speaker 1: as you put out bad information. You get people to
- 19:40Speaker 1: declare that somehow these voting rights bills are racist, then
- 19:44Speaker 1: all these companies can say we're not giving money anybody
- 19:47Speaker 1: that supports them. Yeah, is that it has to be.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It can happen if it's of little value, so less
- 19:52Speaker 1: than one dollar, which Water certainly falls under. They also
- 19:56Speaker 1: point to Colorado state where I went to college and
- 19:59Speaker 1: worked in for three years, as having voter ID laws.
- 20:02Speaker 1: But Colorado has been looked at as the gold standard
- 20:05Speaker 1: give me more access, boosting turnout by both Democrats and
- 20:09Speaker 1: Republicans for years. They have a universal vote by mail system,
- 20:12Speaker 1: and more importantly, when it comes to voter ID laws
- 20:15Speaker 1: of the state, they require some type of identification. However,
- 20:19Speaker 1: they don't require a picture to be on it. Right,
- 20:22Speaker 1: So someone can take a utility bill, a bank statement
- 20:24Speaker 1: of paycheck, or really any other government document that shows
- 20:27Speaker 1: their name and address. And I think, by the way,
- 20:30Speaker 1: let's let's talk about that real quick, Okay, if I
- 20:34Speaker 1: want to create commit voter fraud, what Eugene Daniel's MSNBC
- 20:40Speaker 1: is saying is you should be able to take somebody's mail,
- 20:43Speaker 1: steal their mail, grab anything in their mail that has
- 20:45Speaker 1: a name and address, and you should have walk in
- 20:47Speaker 1: and vote on that person's behalf and not have to
- 20:49Speaker 1: show any other form of ID. Okay, So if I
- 20:53Speaker 1: want to really get into this and I want to
- 20:55Speaker 1: early vote on day one, I guess I could just
- 20:57Speaker 1: drive around town and go through mailboxes and just grab
- 21:00Speaker 1: all of their mail, or grab one piece of their mail, right,
- 21:02Speaker 1: just slip one piece and go here it is. I'm bob,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I'm going to vote today, and they can't stop you
- 21:09Speaker 1: from voting. That's what they're advocating for, which is how
- 21:13Speaker 1: you get absolute voter fraud. This is how you do it. Well,
- 21:20Speaker 1: if I say that, then now apparently I'm racist. I'm
- 21:22Speaker 1: not allowed to say that. That's something that is inappropriate
- 21:27Speaker 1: to say. That's a racist line, all right. So somebody
- 21:30Speaker 1: goes to minority community and takes a whole bunch of
- 21:32Speaker 1: mail out of that minority community, takes a whole bunch
- 21:37Speaker 1: stuff out of that minority community, a bunch of mail,
- 21:40Speaker 1: and goes and votes in their behalf. Is that not
- 21:41Speaker 1: taking the rights away from minority voters? I would say
- 21:45Speaker 1: it probably is. I would say it probably is. That
- 21:51Speaker 1: would be my I think most people would agree with
- 21:53Speaker 1: me that that is taking away the right of a
- 21:57Speaker 1: minority individual to vote, and that is a problem. But
- 22:02Speaker 1: let's just keep going. Let's just keep you attacking, Let's
- 22:07Speaker 1: keep moving forward with these lies. And that's why these
- 22:12Speaker 1: one hundred businesses are together discussing how they can stop
- 22:15Speaker 1: donations to politicians they call it's truly just to Republicans
- 22:18Speaker 1: who support this legislation. The goal of the call, they say,
- 22:21Speaker 1: was to bring together companies that have issued their own
- 22:23Speaker 1: statements following the signage of Georgia's voting bill. The participants
- 22:28Speaker 1: didn't set on any final steps. The meeting was the
- 22:30Speaker 1: first reported by The Wall Street Journal. The meeting comes
- 22:33Speaker 1: as backlash crows against Georgie's recently passed voting law in
- 22:35Speaker 1: the GOP battles with companies that have expressed opposition since
- 22:41Speaker 1: Governor Kemp signed the bill. Companies including Cocola and Delta
- 22:44Speaker 1: have spoken out against the legislation. Then Major League Baseball
- 22:48Speaker 1: pulled their All Star Game from Atlanta and protests the legislation.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Lawmakers and Texas of advanced legislation on April the first
- 22:55Speaker 1: that would implement new voting restrictions in the state. There
- 22:58Speaker 1: including limits on pulling place ours and reducing options for
- 23:01Speaker 1: voters to cast ballots is what the left is now saying.
- 23:04Speaker 1: These states need to understand and these governors that you
- 23:09Speaker 1: don't stop, you keep going forward, and you keep moving
- 23:13Speaker 1: to protect the integrity of the vote. And any of
- 23:16Speaker 1: these companies that are in your state getting tax breaks,
- 23:18Speaker 1: who are now calling you and your citizens racist, kick
- 23:21Speaker 1: them the hell out, take away their tax breaks. I
- 23:24Speaker 1: dare you. I know we're right by the way, and
- 23:27Speaker 1: I know that they're wrong. Look at look at the
- 23:30Speaker 1: new data we have coming, for example, from San Francisco.
- 23:34Speaker 1: San Francisco is where Nancy Plosi's from. More people are
- 23:37Speaker 1: moving out of San Francisco than any other major city
- 23:39Speaker 1: in America in the last year. You won't know why,
- 23:41Speaker 1: because of government overreach and the psychotic nature of the
- 23:45Speaker 1: government san Francisco, the socialist government in San Francisco. You
- 23:49Speaker 1: have overly tax people, you have terrible laws that like
- 23:54Speaker 1: they fund the police. You have crime out of control,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and people that have a brand and are leaving. They're done,
- 24:04Speaker 1: They're leaving. And don't think for a moment that these
- 24:08Speaker 1: that these democrats actually care about your right to vote.
- 24:11Speaker 1: They care about manipulating in the elections. That's why they're
- 24:15Speaker 1: doing this. Look a look at now how they're wing
- 24:18Speaker 1: to attack companies. Joe Biden's economic advisor says, quote, I'm
- 24:23Speaker 1: not going to negotiate tax rates on TV as they're
- 24:26Speaker 1: going to come after these companies because they want a
- 24:28Speaker 1: lot of these jobs to disappear. So the President has
- 24:31Speaker 1: proposed raising the corporate tax rate to twenty eight percent.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Democratic Senator Joe Mansion of West Virginia says he wants
- 24:36Speaker 1: to see the number at twenty five percent. You open
- 24:40Speaker 1: to that. Look, the President himself said he's going to
- 24:44Speaker 1: be talking with members on both sides of the aisle.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Quoting the President to compromise is inevitable. So I'm not
- 24:52Speaker 1: going to negotiate tax rates on TV today. I think
- 24:56Speaker 1: the critical point from President Biden is that the plan
- 25:00Speaker 1: pays for itself over fifteen years, and that is extremely important.
- 25:04Speaker 1: You know, one of my main areas of research and
- 25:06Speaker 1: economics is fiscal policy. And when you're talking about the
- 25:10Speaker 1: relief plan a temporary measure, it's perfectly fine for that
- 25:13Speaker 1: to be deficit finance. But when you're talking about longer
- 25:16Speaker 1: term investments and water in bridges in standing up key sectors,
- 25:20Speaker 1: that don't exist in childcare. I mean, it's amazing. This
- 25:27Speaker 1: is this is where they go with this. We're not
- 25:29Speaker 1: gonna We're not going to negotiate on TV. Well, you're
- 25:32Speaker 1: about to do it to all these companies. You're about
- 25:35Speaker 1: to hurt all of these companies by raising their taxes.
- 25:37Speaker 1: You go, I'm not negotiate on TV. Well, where are
- 25:40Speaker 1: you going to do it? In a dark room? So
- 25:42Speaker 1: no one knows what's going on here? Right? What are
- 25:45Speaker 1: you gonna do? Now? These African American small business owners
- 25:50Speaker 1: that are ripping Atlanta and ripping Major League Baseball for
- 25:53Speaker 1: pulling the All Star Game from Atlanta, that's the story
- 25:57Speaker 1: that the news should be covering. You have the Job
- 26:01Speaker 1: Creators Network, a group that advocates your small businesses, sending
- 26:04Speaker 1: a letter to the commissioner highlighting the damage being done
- 26:07Speaker 1: to minority businesses and ask them to move the game
- 26:09Speaker 1: back to Atlanta. They should move the game back, and
- 26:12Speaker 1: they won't. And the reason why is because of politics.
- 26:16Speaker 1: These hundred plus business executives that talk about going after
- 26:21Speaker 1: these places that do this with their voting laws, they're
- 26:23Speaker 1: just looking for an excuse to never have to give
- 26:25Speaker 1: a dime to Republican candidates. Ever, again, it's your choice
- 26:29Speaker 1: if you decide to continue to support these companies. I
- 26:32Speaker 1: personally am not going to. I'm going to do everything
- 26:35Speaker 1: I can to not support these companies because this is
- 26:39Speaker 1: what they're trying to do. They're trying to shut silence
- 26:42Speaker 1: and shut down Republican leaders all over the country, and
- 26:47Speaker 1: they're doing it now in the name of the voting
- 26:49Speaker 1: rights laws, which are actually about your right to protect
- 26:53Speaker 1: your vote, your rights to protect and make sure that
- 26:56Speaker 1: your vote is not being taken away from you. All right. Lastly,
