- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things, and it's not good it listening to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the movie Together to please, I don't join join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You got that turn you you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn you got to turn them out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: bad uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 1: are listening to the voice, come on dig me now?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Wanting only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Ain't God
- 2:11Speaker 1: been good to me? But then again, ain't he been
- 2:14Speaker 1: good to you too? Though? I mean, really, man, think
- 2:17Speaker 1: of all the blessings God has given you, you know what.
- 2:21Speaker 1: That's a good news today, though, y'all, in the face
- 2:24Speaker 1: of all the world being the way it is, the
- 2:27Speaker 1: evilness that's out there, it just it just seems like
- 2:30Speaker 1: that's all that's on the news sometimes. You know, we
- 2:32Speaker 1: got we got news of parents not really standing up
- 2:36Speaker 1: being parents. We got news stories of children turning on
- 2:39Speaker 1: their parents. You got, you got everything, the economy, you
- 2:42Speaker 1: got places you thought you should be beautiful, places to go.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Now they got travel alerts. It's just it's all over.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It's it's all over. But the good news is that's
- 2:55Speaker 1: something that you can have in this relationship with God
- 3:00Speaker 1: that gives you a way to deal with it all.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And I'm not saying that it'll protect you from every
- 3:07Speaker 1: single thing out that is happening, because some things are
- 3:10Speaker 1: going to happen to you. You're going to be in
- 3:14Speaker 1: an accident from time to time. You're going to make
- 3:16Speaker 1: a mistake and fall down from time to time. But man,
- 3:20Speaker 1: wouldn't it be incredible to you for you if you
- 3:23Speaker 1: understood that you had some insurance in all of this
- 3:27Speaker 1: that no matter what happened to you, you know you
- 3:30Speaker 1: will cover it. You know, look, insurance companies as good
- 3:33Speaker 1: as they are, you know, like our friends and stay
- 3:35Speaker 1: Farm or any other insurance company you know, they do
- 3:39Speaker 1: they do some amazing things. Insurance is a really really
- 3:42Speaker 1: good thing to happen in the event that something happens
- 3:45Speaker 1: to you. You know, you may not want to pay
- 3:47Speaker 1: the premium, but guess what in the event that something
- 3:50Speaker 1: happens to you, that insurance is absolutely critical. Well, but
- 3:55Speaker 1: guess what they cover certain things. You could get life insurance,
- 3:59Speaker 1: you can get auto insurance, you can get accident insurance.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You can get health insurance. There is nothing that you
- 4:06Speaker 1: can buy to safeguard you against life's decisions. You know,
- 4:13Speaker 1: if you make a mistake, if you cheat, if you lie,
- 4:19Speaker 1: if you if you fall down and you can't seem
- 4:23Speaker 1: to get it together, and you make a crazy decision
- 4:26Speaker 1: about how you're gonna go about securing an income, that
- 4:29Speaker 1: there are There are no policies you can buy for that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You can't buy a policy if you stop being the
- 4:37Speaker 1: man you're supposed to be, and and and give up
- 4:40Speaker 1: on your children. You can't buy a policy if something
- 4:44Speaker 1: happens as a mother and all of a sudden you're
- 4:46Speaker 1: not the mother you're supposed to be. But there is
- 4:50Speaker 1: some insurance coverage out there for you. And that relationship
- 4:55Speaker 1: that you form with God, that friendship that you form
- 4:58Speaker 1: with him, that that alliance that you that that partnership,
- 5:03Speaker 1: that that prayer that you put in all the time,
- 5:07Speaker 1: there is an insurance policy that you have taken out
- 5:11Speaker 1: when you form a relationship with your heavenly Father, when
- 5:14Speaker 1: you form a friendship, when you form a bond that
- 5:19Speaker 1: protects you, that protects you when these things happen. In
- 5:23Speaker 1: the event that they happen. Now here's a great thing
- 5:26Speaker 1: about prayer. Prayer can head off some stuff from happening.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It really really can. Prayer can prevent some things from happening.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You know, I'll give you an example in my life. Okay,
- 5:38Speaker 1: here we go, because see is the best way for
- 5:40Speaker 1: me to do it, because see, what I don't like
- 5:43Speaker 1: to do is talk to people without letting them know. Hey,
- 5:45Speaker 1: look I'm in this hole with you. I feel where yet? Okay,
- 5:49Speaker 1: here we go. I was making some decisions a few
- 5:54Speaker 1: years ago because what I thought I was doing was
- 5:57Speaker 1: counterbalancing something that was happening in my life. You know,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I thought that since I wasn't happy, or for whatever
- 6:07Speaker 1: the reason I thought I wasn't happy, if I, as
- 6:10Speaker 1: wrong as I am, wanted to blame somebody else from
- 6:13Speaker 1: my unhappiness, that's that's really If if I make a
- 6:17Speaker 1: bad decision because I'm thinking I'm unhappy with somebody, hold
- 6:21Speaker 1: a partner. Two wrongs don't make it right, and I
- 6:24Speaker 1: make a decision to do something wrong, and now the
- 6:26Speaker 1: consequences come when I do something wrong. See, then that
- 6:32Speaker 1: I already know, as an intelligent thinking man, as most
- 6:35Speaker 1: of you are, that when you do something wrong that
- 6:39Speaker 1: you know, there is a consequence for that. I teach
- 6:42Speaker 1: that to my son's When you do something wrong, there
- 6:45Speaker 1: as a consequence. So as an adult, I fully understood
- 6:48Speaker 1: the consequence. And so what I was doing was I
- 6:51Speaker 1: was making some decisions that was causing some consequences in
- 6:55Speaker 1: my life, that was delaying my happiness, delaying my progress,
- 7:00Speaker 1: causing my business not to go the way it could go,
- 7:03Speaker 1: so forth and so on. Well, what I started doing
- 7:06Speaker 1: was I took out this insurance policy called Prayer, and
- 7:10Speaker 1: I started putting it in my mix on a daily basis.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And then I started putting it in my mix, you know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: two three times a day. And then I found myself
- 7:18Speaker 1: using it all the time. And then I really started
- 7:21Speaker 1: putting it in when I didn't need any help, when
- 7:24Speaker 1: I wasn't in trouble, I started putting insurance in. I
- 7:27Speaker 1: started making deposits into the bank. I started paying my
- 7:31Speaker 1: premiums down. And Prayer is like a premium, you just
- 7:34Speaker 1: pay into it. Then when situations started coming up, now
- 7:40Speaker 1: it that Prayer that I had put in, that in
- 7:42Speaker 1: those premiums I had paid it started preventing me from
- 7:46Speaker 1: making the decisions I was making in the past. Thus
- 7:49Speaker 1: I didn't have to suffer the consequences. Thus my businesses
- 7:53Speaker 1: didn't have to be delayed in this progress. Because I
- 7:57Speaker 1: had put some payments on some premiums. I taken out
- 8:00Speaker 1: an insurance policy with my life, my real life. I'm
- 8:05Speaker 1: talking about your life where you make your day to
- 8:07Speaker 1: day decisions in I'm not talking about see life. Insurance
- 8:11Speaker 1: is only good if you die. God has a policy
- 8:15Speaker 1: that's avasable, that's available for you. Why are you living? See?
- 8:20Speaker 1: In order for an insurance policy to pay, something bad
- 8:23Speaker 1: got to happen. Now. There may be some others out
- 8:26Speaker 1: there I don't know nothing about, but all the ones
- 8:28Speaker 1: I got my car insurance, they only come into play
- 8:32Speaker 1: if I have an accident. I have an accident insurance
- 8:36Speaker 1: policy where if something happens to me, I got accident,
- 8:39Speaker 1: I got, I got my voice is covered in case
- 8:42Speaker 1: something happened to that. I got that. But but I
- 8:45Speaker 1: got to not be able to talk to cash that one.
- 8:48Speaker 1: You understand everything I got homeowners insurance. Don't nothing show
- 8:52Speaker 1: up on my homeowners insurance unless it's a flood or
- 8:57Speaker 1: fire or fill. Something bad got to happen for my
- 9:01Speaker 1: insurance to even make sense when you take out the
- 9:05Speaker 1: policy with you, with your heavenly Father, when you pay
- 9:09Speaker 1: the premiums of prayer, and that's all it costs. Man,
- 9:12Speaker 1: It ain't you. Ain't got to have no money for
- 9:13Speaker 1: this policy. I put into the policy. It pays me
- 9:19Speaker 1: dividends and benefits for living. Ain't nothing got to go
- 9:25Speaker 1: wrong for me to cash in on this policy. I
- 9:29Speaker 1: use this policy for good things. I give you an example.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I use this policy to ask God to watch over
- 9:38Speaker 1: my family when I travel. Make the decisions to pay
- 9:42Speaker 1: your premiums in prayer, Talk to your heavenly Father, get
- 9:45Speaker 1: you some insurance in your life. And when you have
- 9:48Speaker 1: little things like that, keep on stepping. Man. God loves you. Man, Man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: I show hope you talk to God today because guess
- 9:54Speaker 1: what he showed would like to hear from you. That's
- 9:56Speaker 1: for shells. You're listening morning show ladies and gentlemen, it
- 10:03Speaker 1: is time for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. I have
- 10:06Speaker 1: no I almost really at the top of my day,
- 10:10Speaker 1: I have nothing greater to say than thank you Lord
- 10:14Speaker 1: for another opportunity for this day. Today is the day
- 10:19Speaker 1: that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be
- 10:22Speaker 1: glad in it man, my mom, you say that to
- 10:25Speaker 1: me going up to go to school every morning. It
- 10:29Speaker 1: really sunk in because now all my days I appreciate
- 10:32Speaker 1: every last one of them. Hope you do too, Ladies
- 10:34Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Junior kill Spates
- 10:39Speaker 1: or nephew Tommy or Junior once on your mind. You
- 10:43Speaker 1: know what, let me ask you this up. You know, man,
- 10:46Speaker 1: you talked about this. We just talked about this earlier.
- 10:48Speaker 1: But I think it's something that I really appreciate you saying. Man,
- 10:51Speaker 1: about pivotal moments in your life that have made you
- 10:54Speaker 1: who you are today. You don't run from them. You
- 10:57Speaker 1: just have to embrace it. And you don't even know
- 10:59Speaker 1: that they pivotal moment at the time. Can you just
- 11:02Speaker 1: share some of yours that you just thank you? Was
- 11:04Speaker 1: pivotal moments for you? Oh, from childhood up to night
- 11:11Speaker 1: was so many. One of the pivotal moments in my
- 11:16Speaker 1: life was taking my father's car keys without asking him
- 11:21Speaker 1: in late at night and backing down the driveway and
- 11:25Speaker 1: scraping that fender against the chimney before I even got
- 11:29Speaker 1: out the driveway. That was a pivotal moment in my
- 11:32Speaker 1: life because my father didn't hear it, but my mother
- 11:35Speaker 1: did sleeping somebody out in the driveway messing with the car. Well.
- 11:41Speaker 1: That made my daddy come downstairs in his draws with
- 11:45Speaker 1: both guns, and so I was removed from the car
- 11:51Speaker 1: at gunpoint. Me. If my mama hadn't said, slit, that's
- 11:56Speaker 1: our baby, that's the only thing that was a pivotal moment.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I could have died that day. I've had several pivotal
- 12:04Speaker 1: moments in my life. I think deciding to getting married
- 12:10Speaker 1: the first time was a pivotal moment in my life
- 12:15Speaker 1: and that I've never learned from. I've learned it. You
- 12:18Speaker 1: can do something pivotal and almost never recover from it.
- 12:24Speaker 1: That was the first one. I've done it three times
- 12:27Speaker 1: now and I've learned to improve. But I was a
- 12:32Speaker 1: crazy one because my first marriage. Are you supposed to
- 12:35Speaker 1: improve every time? But that second one was such your
- 12:40Speaker 1: nose dive off the milby. I don't know what the
- 12:46Speaker 1: hell happened. And this third one is great joy for me.
- 12:50Speaker 1: That was a pivotal moment. Oh, getting my first television
- 12:56Speaker 1: check was a pivotal moment that gotten me out of homelessness.
- 13:02Speaker 1: That was a wonderful moment. But I spent every dollar
- 13:07Speaker 1: of that damn check fast in a week without even
- 13:11Speaker 1: knowing where the net room was coming. But I bought
- 13:14Speaker 1: everything I had ever dreamed of because I didn't know
- 13:16Speaker 1: they were gonna really give me a TV show or not.
- 13:19Speaker 1: So I took that advance. I bought an apartment, clothes, furniture,
- 13:24Speaker 1: and I waited on a call. But that's I spent
- 13:27Speaker 1: that whole chick zero cash it cat or money around
- 13:32Speaker 1: with me and spend it pivotal moments from Steve. Thank
- 13:37Speaker 1: you coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 1: run that prank back with the nephew right after this
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're listening show. It is time now to run that
- 13:48Speaker 1: prank back with the nephew. What you got now? How
- 13:51Speaker 1: about the church? Callina Dog? What you think? Uh? One

- 18:50Speaker 1: face because it's over the phone and knowledge. This is
- 18:52Speaker 1: not working right now, and I need to meet the
- 18:54Speaker 1: person that's called in my howl talking about my wife
- 18:58Speaker 1: doing our all this idiotic type. So let's leave Lake

- 21:00Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, the incomparable and
- 21:03Speaker 1: I do mean incomparable, Tyler Perry will be our special guest.
- 21:07Speaker 1: He's going to tell us about him adia homecoming. That's
- 21:10Speaker 1: set up at the top of the hour. We can't
- 21:13Speaker 1: wait for that, but right now it is time for
- 21:15Speaker 1: ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the
- 21:19Speaker 1: building for your love questions. Bev and Charlottesville says, my
- 21:23Speaker 1: husband and I retired three years ago, and I am
- 21:27Speaker 1: ready to get back to some kind of daily activity,
- 21:30Speaker 1: whether it be a job or back to playing tennis.
- 21:33Speaker 1: My husband's feelings get hurt when I want to do
- 21:35Speaker 1: things without him, and I don't like how dependent he
- 21:38Speaker 1: has become. How do I wean him off me so
- 21:41Speaker 1: I can have a life? You wean him off like
- 21:44Speaker 1: animals do babies in the wild. What ain't no more?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Damn milk. Just cut him off like that, Just cut
- 21:54Speaker 1: him off, cold turkey, Steve, get off the tea. It's
- 21:57Speaker 1: not here for you anymore. From what I've learned from
- 22:00Speaker 1: people who do retire, if you don't stay active, you're
- 22:05Speaker 1: gonna let that rust set in on your body. Oh
- 22:08Speaker 1: and old age gonna come take you away. It is
- 22:11Speaker 1: in your best interest to go do something. Go play tennis.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Do not go back to work. Why would you retire
- 22:19Speaker 1: to go back to that? Yeah, go play you some tennis,
- 22:23Speaker 1: enjoy your life. Go play tennis, go take lessons, go
- 22:28Speaker 1: sit it, depart, go run, exercise, do anything but get active.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Your husband will be fine. Man show hands off me?
- 22:43Speaker 1: All right? So cold Turkey to bed. Moving on to
- 22:47Speaker 1: Lenae in DC, Nae writes some twenty seven and my
- 22:50Speaker 1: boyfriend is twenty eight. When we watch TV, he'll ask
- 22:55Speaker 1: if I think a guy is handsome or has a
- 22:57Speaker 1: great body, and it is very I finally asked him
- 23:02Speaker 1: if he thinks they're cute or fine, and he yelled
- 23:04Speaker 1: and told me not to ever question his manhood. Is
- 23:07Speaker 1: he insecure? Or is he trying to see if I'm
- 23:09Speaker 1: attracted to other men? I just think he's stupid. Why
- 23:14Speaker 1: would you start a fight at your own damn house
- 23:17Speaker 1: watching TV? What's wrong with your dumb ass? You know? Now?
- 23:22Speaker 1: You insecure? She looking at the same men on TV.
- 23:25Speaker 1: You saw the dude. You know he cut up? No,
- 23:29Speaker 1: he yoked. You ain't got to ask her, You gotta ask.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You know he ripped m You know, me and Marjorie
- 23:38Speaker 1: watched TV all the time, beat me and coming across
- 23:40Speaker 1: that way, little ties on just below they nabling all
- 23:44Speaker 1: this here, I see him, know what's up? Your naghbor?
- 23:49Speaker 1: Don't look like that though. No, I ain't. I ain't
- 23:52Speaker 1: seen my name Steve. Yeah, I ain't know me. I
- 24:00Speaker 1: don't even think about it. No more. I took pictures
- 24:02Speaker 1: of myself and don't I ain't. You forgot all about it.
- 24:06Speaker 1: You know it was a hole that no more had
- 24:09Speaker 1: a lot of overgrowth on it. Ain't even seen the
- 24:11Speaker 1: hole in a while. I ain't I know getting here? Well,
- 24:13Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about my name, and I don't
- 24:15Speaker 1: give a damn. But like I tell my wife all
- 24:16Speaker 1: the time, you're dude being fine as he wan't. He
- 24:18Speaker 1: ain't sending you know where I send you wherever you
- 24:20Speaker 1: want to go. I got life for you, right, that's right,
- 24:24Speaker 1: that's right. So he's insecure and stupid your thing. Just
- 24:28Speaker 1: let it go. Man, he's so damned though, Stop asking me?
- 24:33Speaker 1: Ask him? Do he think women is fine? Women? Ain't
- 24:40Speaker 1: got no problem complimenting other women? Yeah? Yeah. You want
- 24:44Speaker 1: to get a dude uncomfortable, start asking you how he
- 24:46Speaker 1: feel about women? Question up? Man? Who? Well? What did
- 24:51Speaker 1: you bringing him up for? You don't want to keep
- 24:53Speaker 1: bringing him up? You think what about him? Yeah? Yeah,
- 25:00Speaker 1: look at the arms on that one right there. I
- 25:05Speaker 1: think that's it looked like, all right. Moving on to
- 25:09Speaker 1: Farah in Miami, Farah writes, my husband's father was over
- 25:13Speaker 1: recently and he took his shoes and socks off and
- 25:16Speaker 1: stretched out on my velvet sofa. He had on foot
- 25:19Speaker 1: powder and it got on everything. When he left, Yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 1: they still got foot poder. Yeah, when he left, I
- 25:33Speaker 1: bent it to my husband and he said, it's it's
- 25:35Speaker 1: just a couch. Is he for real? The couch has
- 25:38Speaker 1: foot powder all over it? How is this okay? Playing
- 25:43Speaker 1: something to you? Lady, listen to me, You better thank
- 25:47Speaker 1: the Lord for that foot powder. He put that foot
- 25:50Speaker 1: pot on because he likes to take his feet out
- 25:53Speaker 1: of his shoes. If he didn't have that foot powder,
- 25:58Speaker 1: you'd have to place that damn. Because he got some
- 26:02Speaker 1: stuff on his feet that are burned through fabric. You
- 26:05Speaker 1: can get the foot powder cleaned off of that. But
- 26:08Speaker 1: if he don't have that foot powder on. And I
- 26:12Speaker 1: mean he used he ain't even got the spray that
- 26:15Speaker 1: spray on and it don't flake. He used an actual
- 26:19Speaker 1: foot powder sprinkling. It got the little as holes in
- 26:24Speaker 1: the cow and he dousing his feet in that because
- 26:27Speaker 1: he gots too, because he'd took his shoes off and
- 26:31Speaker 1: cleared a room. He if he don't have that foot
- 26:38Speaker 1: powder on, that boy could set them drapes on fire.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell. Yeah, she should have put
- 26:48Speaker 1: a towel on it or something covered it. Yeah, something herself. Yeah,
- 26:53Speaker 1: but he country is hell, though. Don't nobody come on
- 26:56Speaker 1: somebody else's house and stretch out foot powder. He saw
- 27:00Speaker 1: that damn footpot of work. You're that comfortable? Yes, all right?
- 27:07Speaker 1: Moving on to Yaz and Jefferson. Yaz says, I'm forty
- 27:10Speaker 1: and just started dating a guy four months ago. I'm
- 27:13Speaker 1: a private person, and he wants the world to know
- 27:16Speaker 1: we're together. I don't allow him to post pictures of
- 27:19Speaker 1: me on his Instagram page, and Valentine's Day was no exception.
- 27:23Speaker 1: He did it anyway and won't take it down. How
- 27:26Speaker 1: long should we date before going public? Wow? Well, obviously
- 27:31Speaker 1: you're not sure if this is the one. The reason
- 27:34Speaker 1: you don't want to be posted is because you don't
- 27:38Speaker 1: want any other potential suitors to thank you off to
- 27:42Speaker 1: market with him. He's convinced you're it. You're the one.
- 27:46Speaker 1: He's proud of you, So I can't answer that question.
- 27:50Speaker 1: When should you post it, I think you should post
- 27:53Speaker 1: it on that when you think this is the one.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I have a young guy that works for me, and
- 27:58Speaker 1: we were having this discussion of the day because I
- 28:00Speaker 1: told him I didn't think him and his lady was seriously.
- 28:02Speaker 1: He said, why not? I say, because I don't see
- 28:04Speaker 1: y'all posting each other on y'all site. He said, mister Harvey,
- 28:07Speaker 1: that's not a sign that you together. I said, well,
- 28:10Speaker 1: if y'all post everything else that mattered to you, you
- 28:15Speaker 1: post your travels on there, you post your food on now,
- 28:18Speaker 1: but you don't want to post your girl on now.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I said, maybe it ain't your girl. M you know,
- 28:26Speaker 1: get the post new part. If it is now. He
- 28:29Speaker 1: ain't spoke to me since that. If ID have knew
- 28:31Speaker 1: that's what it was to get his ass quit talking
- 28:33Speaker 1: to him, I'd have been said, no, what waste some time. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm going to call up a few more people today
- 28:41Speaker 1: and say some things I've been wanting to say. So yes,
- 28:46Speaker 1: so yes, you're telling her it's okay to post. I mean,
- 28:51Speaker 1: he's he's he's he's ready. You're not you asked him
- 28:55Speaker 1: not to he posted it anyway? You know you're a
- 28:59Speaker 1: private person Valentine's Day. What you're going on with to
- 29:01Speaker 1: do for if this ain't the one telling? Yeah, all right,
- 29:05Speaker 1: all right, right coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:09Speaker 1: and Tyler Perry, Tyler Perry will be a profession. We're
- 29:13Speaker 1: excited about that, and we know you are too. Right
- 29:16Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to show, all right, everybody, as promise,
- 29:25Speaker 1: we got a family member with us this morning. Uh.
- 29:28Speaker 1: An absolute genius storyteller, when I tell you, has a
- 29:33Speaker 1: completely upended Hollywood. No one, no one in our current
- 29:42Speaker 1: era has changed Hollywood more than this man right here.
- 29:48Speaker 1: He's produced and directed close to fifty films. He owns
- 29:53Speaker 1: and operates the first black owned major film production studio
- 29:58Speaker 1: in Atlanta, Georgia. He's a bad man. He's a good
- 30:01Speaker 1: friend of the show. He's got a new project coming
- 30:04Speaker 1: out on Netflix on February twenty fifth, and it's starting
- 30:07Speaker 1: one of our all time favorites. And Lord her Mercy
- 30:10Speaker 1: mu deal. The movie is a mdal home coming. Let's
- 30:14Speaker 1: find out more about the movie. Please welcome to the show.

- 30:32Speaker 1: everybody else is trying to get to Lady Different. Put
- 30:36Speaker 1: your hands together from mister rich ass Tyler Perry Perry,
- 30:46Speaker 1: that's funny. But dog, you said, Will Packer, will pack,
- 30:52Speaker 1: Will Packer, will listen. Will's producing the oscars. I'm proud
- 30:55Speaker 1: of it. Man, that's a man. Yes, that's awesome. That's awesome. Man.
- 30:59Speaker 1: How you being? And Tyler, I'm hanging in there, man,
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm really really excited about everything that's going on. Life
- 31:04Speaker 1: is good. I ain't got no complaints at all. What
- 31:07Speaker 1: what drives you? Man? What's behind you? You know what?
- 31:11Speaker 1: At this First of all, it was not being broke
- 31:14Speaker 1: in the beginning and didn't care my mother. But at
- 31:17Speaker 1: this point, at this point, at Steve, you just so
- 31:20Speaker 1: you've get into the studio. You see all these kids
- 31:21Speaker 1: coming to work here, all these black and brown faces
- 31:23Speaker 1: that never had a shot, all these women never had
- 31:25Speaker 1: a shot. So then walking through the gates, man, that
- 31:28Speaker 1: makes me want to go to work every day. Wow,
- 31:31Speaker 1: I call you man. I've shot a lot of times
- 31:36Speaker 1: out there, man, and I'm telling you, I've been on
- 31:39Speaker 1: every lot in Hollywood. I don't care if it's Paramount, Sony, Columbia, Radford, CBS, Universal,
- 31:48Speaker 1: I've shot at every lot. I'm telling you what this
- 31:52Speaker 1: man has built in Atlanta is on part. It's probably
- 31:57Speaker 1: the best lot I've ever shot on. And when it
- 32:01Speaker 1: comes to space area and the interests, I mean, it's
- 32:06Speaker 1: all it's just top notch. It's not lacking anything. Don't
- 32:11Speaker 1: you think for one minute that he built something that
- 32:15Speaker 1: was you know, try to you know, I hope he
- 32:18Speaker 1: got there. Now he got there. He got there and
- 32:20Speaker 1: went right on past. They asked in a lot of
- 32:22Speaker 1: areas too massive, grape suit and it's growing from what
- 32:25Speaker 1: I'm just there. So congratulations, bro, Yeah, man, trying to
- 32:28Speaker 1: listen to it. We've been sold out for two years now,
- 32:31Speaker 1: so trying to get I start building new stages this
- 32:34Speaker 1: month just so we can get more people in man
- 32:36Speaker 1: as soon as no. Sooner that I built them that
- 32:38Speaker 1: they're gone. So we got ten more we're building now,
- 32:41Speaker 1: so we'll have twenty two in the next year. So
- 32:43Speaker 1: I'm really excited about that. Won't he do it? Still
- 32:51Speaker 1: do it? Yeah? Still doing it still? Right? Well? Hey
- 32:55Speaker 1: food listening to me. I can call him sometimes as
- 33:01Speaker 1: a fool, but this dude right here now, we've been
- 33:04Speaker 1: seeing these promotional pictures of Mdea for the movie A
- 33:08Speaker 1: Man Who Love Dog no Obama, No more Obama. I'm
- 33:19Speaker 1: so sad. I'm so sad. I'm waiting for I'm waiting
- 33:25Speaker 1: for Mary to call me customer out. Man, she's everybody else.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I called and say, listen, I'm doing this spoof. I
- 33:30Speaker 1: didn't get a chance to call her to see what
- 33:31Speaker 1: she said, so I just put it up there Mdia J.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Blige on Instagram. Man, everybody called him. Listen. I got
- 33:37Speaker 1: some of the friends call him and saying, are you okay? Tyler?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Sis I just saying, man, what's wrong with him? You
- 33:45Speaker 1: one of him? Are you okay? You need? Do you
- 33:47Speaker 1: need anything? You need a vacation? It's fun for us, Tyler.
- 33:52Speaker 1: We love it. Man. You did Beyonce It's home Coming. Uh,
- 33:56Speaker 1: she did a spoof on Beyonce. It's home Coming. Look
- 33:59Speaker 1: at Coachella. You know Redone, the Big Bridget. And I
- 34:03Speaker 1: actually got caught up in that show because I didn't
- 34:06Speaker 1: believe it was gonna last long. Who is the black
- 34:08Speaker 1: dude and ain't getting killed exactly right? Right? I was
- 34:14Speaker 1: just trying to figure out out. And then mcdea did
- 34:17Speaker 1: the Mary J. Blige at the Super Bowl. Now we
- 34:21Speaker 1: all thought that Medea was retired. What bought her out
- 34:25Speaker 1: of retirement? What happened Tyler? Honestly, though, honestly, if you
- 34:29Speaker 1: look at what's happening in the world, all of social
- 34:32Speaker 1: injustice and all of social unresting and every civil unresting
- 34:37Speaker 1: and things that are happened with people, and this this
- 34:39Speaker 1: former president we had, and just the pandemic. Man, all
- 34:42Speaker 1: the sadness. I just want to make people laugh. I
- 34:44Speaker 1: wanted to laugh and I want to make people laughing.
- 34:46Speaker 1: When I tell you, I went for it in this one.
- 34:48Speaker 1: She is as raw as she's ever been. I went
- 34:50Speaker 1: for I went hard with it then. So I can't
- 34:52Speaker 1: wait for y'all to speed and little you think that
- 34:54Speaker 1: honestly thinking something? Just wait to just stay for the
- 34:56Speaker 1: end credits. That's all I'm gonna take you. Stay for
- 34:59Speaker 1: the ingred the end credits. Stay for the end credits, man,
- 35:03Speaker 1: Just stay for the end and listen. See. I'm never
- 35:06Speaker 1: like I don't smoke when I got to work and
- 35:08Speaker 1: stuff like that. I had to get high to do
- 35:10Speaker 1: that last scene. I tell you right now, I'm high.
- 35:14Speaker 1: I smoke a couple of joints that they did that
- 35:17Speaker 1: last scene. It's crazy, It's crazy. Yep. That's the truth.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Breaking news, ladies and gentlemen. This is a world premiere
- 35:26Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Tyler Perry smokes, weal,
- 35:32Speaker 1: I got the boy. If you should have seen their
- 35:38Speaker 1: face on Zoom Shirley and Carlin when you said you
- 35:41Speaker 1: got high, they went they mouth fell open. I did
- 35:45Speaker 1: the only way. Listen. The only reason I can do
- 35:48Speaker 1: that last scene. You know why when you see it
- 35:50Speaker 1: is I had to have me a little smoke. I'm
- 35:51Speaker 1: just tell you right now, that's why. So that's why
- 35:54Speaker 1: that was so stupid. Hey wait, we're gonna let that
- 35:57Speaker 1: sit in for a miny. Y'all sit tight, Hey on, Tyler,
- 36:00Speaker 1: We'll be back with more with Tyler Perry right after this.
- 36:04Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Tyl, We're back. We're back with
- 36:09Speaker 1: the one and only Tyler Perry. Man. This dude right here,
- 36:12Speaker 1: when I tell you groundbreaking, He's broken more grounds than
- 36:16Speaker 1: anybody in our lifetime in terms of movies, productions, uh,
- 36:22Speaker 1: film studios. He's just been a first in so many areas.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I remember when he first started doing these media things
- 36:29Speaker 1: and they were just looking at him talking about that's
- 36:31Speaker 1: not gonna work. That's just a church project. It turned
- 36:34Speaker 1: out to be one of the biggest movie genres of
- 36:39Speaker 1: in the history. And I mean he's done it his
- 36:41Speaker 1: way and his ownership of his projects has been inspiring.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I don't well, we'll never know how much he really
- 36:49Speaker 1: makes in what he's really worth, but I can tell
- 36:51Speaker 1: you all fact, way more than your ass cannot. Matt.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Why this boy out there, I hadn't been around him enough.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I've experienced some of his things, and I just want
- 37:04Speaker 1: to say, praise him and that you use you in
- 37:08Speaker 1: Jesus name. If ever say one of my damn friends,
- 37:14Speaker 1: it's about as riches, yo, damn friend. I can say
- 37:17Speaker 1: that to most white folks, and that I thought I'd
- 37:21Speaker 1: never be able to say. Hey man, hey man, congratulations, Man,
- 37:25Speaker 1: this is a big role you got. This is your
- 37:29Speaker 1: tenth feature film starring Mdeal in a major role and
- 37:33Speaker 1: the return of Tamlin Man, David Man, Cassie Davis, Gabrielle Dennis,
- 37:38Speaker 1: plus a guest cast from a lot of people. Man,
- 37:42Speaker 1: you just Tyler, have you thought about retiring? Man? I'm two.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I got at least another eight to ten years ago,
- 37:49Speaker 1: so we can go run up. We gonna run hard
- 37:51Speaker 1: up until then. How about this, I'll be I'll retire
- 37:54Speaker 1: when you do. How about that? Yeah, so you're gonna
- 37:58Speaker 1: yea judge? Yeah exactly. No, I just got my hand
- 38:04Speaker 1: right around this one right here. It't gonna be good,
- 38:07Speaker 1: right man. Twenty years of mdea. It's been twenty years
- 38:12Speaker 1: and people are still coming and they're blowing the mind.
- 38:14Speaker 1: So for this thing to be on Netflix on the
- 38:15Speaker 1: twenty to February, I just can't wait. People are so
- 38:18Speaker 1: excited about that. Twenty years man, I'm just I'm telling you,
- 38:21Speaker 1: how you know something were running that long and still going.
- 38:24Speaker 1: That's pretty a dark and and works every single time. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 1: that's great, that's what. But but it's never the same
- 38:33Speaker 1: though mcdea didn't got her ass in some real situations
- 38:37Speaker 1: to jail. I can't wait to see her at the
- 38:39Speaker 1: home coming because it's a family drama that erupts at
- 38:42Speaker 1: mcdea's great grandson's college graduation. Yeah, and ye tackles a
- 38:50Speaker 1: current thing about that LGB t Q plus D. He
- 38:56Speaker 1: was close, man, you were close. Hey, man, I expect
- 38:59Speaker 1: nothing from you. Accept the best man you've been in
- 39:02Speaker 1: inspiration brother. I think in the Judge Show is patterned
- 39:05Speaker 1: after what I learned from you. Hang on one second, man,
- 39:11Speaker 1: We'll be back one more time with the legend that
- 39:14Speaker 1: is the rich ass Tyler Perry. You're listening, all right, everybody,
- 39:25Speaker 1: We're back, uh Steve Hardy on the show. We have
- 39:28Speaker 1: a natural born food on the show with us, Tyler Perry.
- 39:31Speaker 1: They don't need a going around it. He's done so much. Man.
- 39:35Speaker 1: We were talking before we left off. We were talking
- 39:38Speaker 1: about all the things that he's broken ground on in
- 39:42Speaker 1: the industry and everything. And this new media film, this
- 39:45Speaker 1: uh Media is going to uh the media home Coming,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and follows a family drama that erupts at Medeia's great
- 39:53Speaker 1: grandson's college graduation. Why is it that black people wait
- 39:58Speaker 1: to graduations for stuff to pop off ceremonies? Well, listen,
- 40:03Speaker 1: then I paid thirty seven dollars for that. Damn. I
- 40:06Speaker 1: have thirty seven dollars. When I put in on that
- 40:07Speaker 1: ball to go to school, I say, for the hell,
- 40:09Speaker 1: I won't do my thirty seven dollars. I haven't get
- 40:12Speaker 1: through too. I bought. I bought a page in a day,
- 40:14Speaker 1: a book or something. That's all. That's the whole thing.
- 40:19Speaker 1: She can say whatever she want because she gave him
- 40:21Speaker 1: thirty seven dollars. Hey, man, so how did just wind
- 40:27Speaker 1: up on Netflix? Is this is this your first deal
- 40:30Speaker 1: with Netflix or no the second. The first thing I
- 40:33Speaker 1: did was a Fall from Grace on Netflix, and that
- 40:35Speaker 1: thing was so successful for them. They came back going, hey,
- 40:38Speaker 1: what you got, what you want to do? And they
- 40:40Speaker 1: came with him ad idea. I was like, okay, so
- 40:44Speaker 1: so what I love about it? Though? You know they
- 40:45Speaker 1: always say black movies don't travel and travel internationally. Well,
- 40:48Speaker 1: I fought from Grace prove that that's wrong because of
- 40:51Speaker 1: what it did all around the world. So when MDEA drops,
- 40:54Speaker 1: I just can't wait to see what happens against everybody
- 40:56Speaker 1: get to see it all around the world at the
- 40:58Speaker 1: same time. That is exciting for me. Great movie. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 1: thank you everything. I loved it. Yeah, I got another one.
- 41:05Speaker 1: I'm working on Tuesday. I'll be ready. We're ready, sir, ready, sir.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Here we go that Thomas? Is that Thomas? Yeah? And
- 41:16Speaker 1: Shirley and Carla. We're ready for the parties. We're ready.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Once we get this pandemic go over. Ben I'm throwing
- 41:25Speaker 1: one heav a party. It's gonna be just because it's over.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Party it's just because it's over. There's there's some areas
- 41:31Speaker 1: at the house of thinking we can have a party
- 41:33Speaker 1: and it'll be all right, be all right, man, I
- 41:36Speaker 1: wanted to One of the things about this new Judge
- 41:40Speaker 1: show I was saying before I went off the air was,
- 41:43Speaker 1: you know, I've learned so much from watching this brother.
- 41:46Speaker 1: And it was imperative, man, uh that I finally got
- 41:50Speaker 1: the message because I just I just didn't have the
- 41:53Speaker 1: example in front of me over my life. I just
- 41:55Speaker 1: didn't get it. Man. I was plus I was going
- 41:58Speaker 1: through so much trauma I couldn't really folk because but
- 42:00Speaker 1: what I learned from this brother was ownership. And that's
- 42:04Speaker 1: been a critical peace man to this brother's success. Because
- 42:08Speaker 1: when you own it and you own content and ips
- 42:13Speaker 1: and all of this here, that's very valuable. And I think, man,
- 42:17Speaker 1: what's gonna happen with this man right here when all
- 42:21Speaker 1: of this stuff comes to light. I think what's gonna
- 42:24Speaker 1: shake out is we're going to be looking at one
- 42:27Speaker 1: of the most not only gifted, but one of the
- 42:31Speaker 1: most financially stable people to come along and entertainment in
- 42:37Speaker 1: our lifetime. As a matter of fact, when it comes
- 42:40Speaker 1: to entertainment, I think this brother right here, will surpass
- 42:46Speaker 1: all that has ever been done in entertainment, I know
- 42:53Speaker 1: for black people. But I'm telling you it's a bad
- 42:56Speaker 1: dude right here. Man. Congratulations man on everything. Brother. I
- 43:00Speaker 1: appreciate that, man, I really really appreciate it. That's what
- 43:02Speaker 1: I'm hoping that more of us get to is is ownership,
- 43:05Speaker 1: you know, because then then when you more of us owner,
- 43:07Speaker 1: stop talking about what this other person doing and what
- 43:09Speaker 1: the white man doing, what that was doing. It's got
- 43:11Speaker 1: to be ownership that's only done. That's gonna give us
- 43:13Speaker 1: a long term change. So that's why I'm trying encourage
- 43:16Speaker 1: everybody own as much as you can, because that way
- 43:18Speaker 1: you can make your own rules. Wow, and that you
- 43:22Speaker 1: have all right, everybody, listen up. It is uh February
- 43:27Speaker 1: twenty five right there, and it started our favorite is
- 43:33Speaker 1: this medea? My dear yes, twenty five, I'm gonna be
- 43:36Speaker 1: on Netflix, thank you. What's the name of the movie.
- 43:39Speaker 1: The name of the movie in my dear homecomment and
- 43:42Speaker 1: we are going to be HBC ornament and on every
- 43:45Speaker 1: twenty fifth on Netflix, thank you. What can they expect
- 43:50Speaker 1: from the movie, ma'am me acting a damn fool, and
- 43:53Speaker 1: I might even show my breath. They might even be
- 43:55Speaker 1: up watching and I functional too. But just be read,
- 44:02Speaker 1: ladies and differd, put your hands together for the one
- 44:05Speaker 1: and only mister Tyler Perry, Sir, so Tyler. All right?
- 44:12Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is the nephew and the prank
- 44:14Speaker 1: phone call will be right back. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 44:18Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up at about four minutes after the hour.
- 44:22Speaker 1: It's the Strawberry Letter for today. The subject my daughter's husband.
- 44:26Speaker 1: My daughter's husband. Will get into that in just a bit.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Wonder what that's all about. But right now the nephew
- 44:32Speaker 1: is here with today's frank phone call. What you got

- 54:05Speaker 1: daughter's husband is the subject. Dear Stephen Shirley. My daughter
- 54:09Speaker 1: got married young, and she has a short attention span.
- 54:12Speaker 1: She's almost thirty, and it looks like she's about to
- 54:15Speaker 1: cheat on her husband. She married a man that's thirty eight,
- 54:19Speaker 1: and he's a lot more settled than she is. My
- 54:21Speaker 1: daughter has been talking to a new guy on the phone,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and she told me he's smart and funny. I've seen
- 54:28Speaker 1: her ignore her husband's calls when she's on the phone
- 54:30Speaker 1: with him, and she doesn't even know her four year
- 54:33Speaker 1: old exists. I asked if she was having an affair,
- 54:36Speaker 1: and she said they are platonic friends. The other night,
- 54:41Speaker 1: she was supposed to come pick her son up, and
- 54:44Speaker 1: I hadn't heard from her. She wasn't answering her my
- 54:47Speaker 1: calls or text, so reluctantly I called her house and
- 54:51Speaker 1: her husband picked up, and he said he was looking
- 54:54Speaker 1: for her too a few more. A few minutes later,
- 54:57Speaker 1: he came to get the baby, and I could hell
- 55:00Speaker 1: he'd been drinking because he was talkative. He said he
- 55:03Speaker 1: thinks my daughter is cheating on him, and she hasn't
- 55:06Speaker 1: had sex with him in a month. I felt so
- 55:09Speaker 1: bad for him, so I hugged him. He told me
- 55:12Speaker 1: that I felt real good, and he squeezed my behind
- 55:15Speaker 1: with both hands. I stood there frozen for a second
- 55:20Speaker 1: before I pulled away from him. He apologized and said
- 55:23Speaker 1: he'd been drinking, but then laughed and said, I do
- 55:26Speaker 1: feel like silk. He asked me if I had ever
- 55:29Speaker 1: thought about him in a romantic way. He said when
- 55:32Speaker 1: he first met my daughter and I was initially attracted
- 55:36Speaker 1: to me. I clearly remember that day, and I did
- 55:39Speaker 1: think he was fine af but not for me. I'm
- 55:43Speaker 1: only forty eight and a man ten years younger can't
- 55:46Speaker 1: handle me. It's a good thing my boyfriend called when
- 55:49Speaker 1: he did, because things got heated quickly. I know I
- 55:53Speaker 1: need to talk to my daughter about her bad behavior,
- 55:56Speaker 1: But do I need to tell her about her husband's
- 55:58Speaker 1: behavior too? Well, I mean not if you don't want
- 56:02Speaker 1: to blow up the spot because this letter took a
- 56:05Speaker 1: hard left. I mean, it really really did, and you're
- 56:07Speaker 1: talking about it. Guy heated quickly and all of this.
- 56:11Speaker 1: I mean, were you into this? You know? It sounds
- 56:14Speaker 1: kind of like you were. So I'm gonna tell you this, Mom,
- 56:18Speaker 1: you need to back all the way out of your
- 56:20Speaker 1: daughter's marital issues, telling her husband, telling her about her
- 56:24Speaker 1: husband's behavior. No need to at this point. She doesn't
- 56:27Speaker 1: care what you have to say anyway. I mean, you've
- 56:30Speaker 1: asked her about this other man. She's still doing her thing.
- 56:33Speaker 1: In other words, the only person she's listening to right
- 56:36Speaker 1: now is her so called platonic friend. You said. She
- 56:40Speaker 1: even ignores calls when it's her husband when she's talking
- 56:43Speaker 1: to this other guy. Your daughter needs to be concerned
- 56:45Speaker 1: about her son. She's taking you for granted because she
- 56:48Speaker 1: knows the baby safe with you. She can stay out
- 56:51Speaker 1: for days or whatever and not have to worry about
- 56:54Speaker 1: him because she knows you got him. It's very selfish
- 56:57Speaker 1: and irresponsible of her to take advantage each of you
- 57:00Speaker 1: that way. So now you need to get serious and
- 57:03Speaker 1: start telling her, No, you can't babysit if you miss
- 57:06Speaker 1: the baby. You can go over there and visit him
- 57:09Speaker 1: in her house for a couple of hours, then leave period.
- 57:12Speaker 1: And I would suggest taking your boyfriend too. That might
- 57:17Speaker 1: keep her at home. You know, if you go over there.
- 57:19Speaker 1: The other thing you need to do is never ever
- 57:21Speaker 1: allow her husband to pick up this baby and drive
- 57:25Speaker 1: anywhere or anything like that. Maybe he walked over to
- 57:28Speaker 1: your house, I don't know, but don't do that, especially
- 57:30Speaker 1: when he's clearly been drinking. And please tell him when
- 57:35Speaker 1: you get the opportunity, and no uncertain terms. Should he
- 57:38Speaker 1: ever touch you like that and do what he did,
- 57:41Speaker 1: squeeze in your butt and saying he wanted you first,
- 57:44Speaker 1: come on, That's never gonna happen again. It's their marriage.
- 57:48Speaker 1: They have to figure this situation out, get through their
- 57:51Speaker 1: own problems. Stay out of it, mom, she's going to
- 57:54Speaker 1: end up resenting you if you don't, And please stay
- 57:56Speaker 1: away from her husband. Steve Shelly, Shelly Shirley, wonderful answer
- 58:05Speaker 1: you just gave, full of hope and optimism and getting
- 58:09Speaker 1: people to do the right things and all that. That's wonderful.
- 58:13Speaker 1: And to the lady who wrote the letter, please listen
- 58:17Speaker 1: to what Sheirley told you. Now what I'm about to
- 58:19Speaker 1: tell you. I'm here to tell you about yourself. Now.
- 58:24Speaker 1: If you can see some help in that, fine, But
- 58:27Speaker 1: my initial approach is not to help you. It's to
- 58:31Speaker 1: tell you the truth. Let's start with the truth. You
- 58:36Speaker 1: say your daughter got married young and she has a
- 58:38Speaker 1: short attention span. That's not what she has, and I
- 58:44Speaker 1: will prove it throughout the letter. She doesn't have a
- 58:47Speaker 1: short attention span. She's not. She has a maturity problem
- 58:52Speaker 1: and a morality problem. She has a maturity problem and
- 58:57Speaker 1: a morality problem. They ain't got nothing to do with
- 58:59Speaker 1: short attention span. Sheen in school. This ain't a d D.
- 59:03Speaker 1: This ain't what this is. So now she's almost thirty
- 59:09Speaker 1: and looked like she's about to cheat on her hus.
- 59:12Speaker 1: She's married to a man that's thirty eight. He's a
- 59:14Speaker 1: lot more subtle than she is. My daughter has been
- 59:16Speaker 1: talking to a new guy on the phone, and she
- 59:17Speaker 1: told me he's smart and funny. I've seen her know
- 59:20Speaker 1: her husband's call when he's on the phone with him,
- 59:23Speaker 1: and she doesn't even know her four year old exists.
- 59:27Speaker 1: That's not a short extention stick attention span. She has
- 59:33Speaker 1: a maturity problem and a moral problem, and she's not
- 59:35Speaker 1: even a good mother. Your daughter is just not a
- 59:38Speaker 1: really really good person so far in the letter, I
- 59:42Speaker 1: asked her if she's having a fan. She said, they
- 59:44Speaker 1: are in a They are plutonic friends. Yeah, well, platonic
- 59:50Speaker 1: whatever that mean whatever the key word in that? Yeah, well,
- 59:56Speaker 1: the keyword in platonic is tonic, and tonic always means
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: something tonic. Always remember that about plutonic, that means it's
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: something in Now we have to take clue it over here.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: A plutonic relationship, Okay, whatever you want to call, it's plutonic. Okay, listen,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: we're coming back with part two of the Strawberry Letter
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and Steve's Steve's second half you don't want to miss
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: as well. The subject is my daughter's husband. We'll get
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Morning Show. Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: The subject is my daughter's husband. Well, this woman wrote
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: this letter about this thirty year old daughter. She says
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: that she has a short, attentionous band. We find out
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: in the letter she has a maturity problem, a mole's problem,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: and she's just not a good mother. Doesn't seem like
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a nice person to me. She's married to a man,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: her daughter that's thirty. She's married to a man that's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: thirty eight. He's more subtled. My daughter's been talking to
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: a new guy on the phone that he describes it
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: is smart and funny. She ignores her husband calls whenever
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: she's on the phone, and she doesn't even know her
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: For you, old exists, I asked her. The mother asked
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: her daughter, she's having a fan. She said, they're in
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: a platonic relationship. Plutonic is what is spelled p L platonic.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: We're having a disagreement about that. Sherley, of course knows
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: the proper pronunciation of it, but I know the meaning
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: of it. See, knowing how a word is pronounced and
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: what it means is two different things. Keyword in here
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: is tonic tonic mean that's something in it. So if
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you're in a platonic or plutonic relationship with a man
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: or woman, the keyword is tonic tonic, meaning that something
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: in it or else what you're having a fault talking
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to me anyway. The other night she was supposed to
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: come pick up her son, and I hadn't heard from it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: She wasn't answering the calls in text, so she reluctantly
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: called her house. Her husband picked up the phone, said
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: he was looking forward to a few minutes later he
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: came to get the baby, and I could tell he'd
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: been drinking because he was talking to He said, he
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: thinks your daughter's cheating on him, and he ain't had
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: sexual her and the mom. See now all of this
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: gets blamed on drinking. But I'm gonna show you something
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: about this in a minute now. If she wasn't aunsing
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the phone for nobody text phone calls it, she was
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: in the plutonic relationship. This is where she was. It
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: is spelled p l u t O Bluto. Ludo is
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: a Disney character, but if you put Tonic on the
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: end of it, that means he in some see pluto.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Was it augh plutonic relationship with Daisy Duck? But get
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: what though, But y'all didn't know behind the scene was
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: he was doing Daisy heaves? And Shelly just said it
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: getting it in right. There always something Donald didn't know,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: just like the husband in this latter don't know anyway,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: and said that his daughter been cheating on him and
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: she hain't had sex with him in a month. I
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: felt so bad for him, so I hugged him. He
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: told me I felt good, and he squeezed my behind
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: with both hands. I still there, frozen for a second
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: before I pulled away from him. He apologized and said
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: he'd been drinking, and then laughed and said I felt
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: like silk. Okay, let's quit blaming everything on drinking. First
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: of all, he wasn't drinking that much because he drove
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: over to the house. He wasn't drinking that much because
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: you was willing to put your grand baby in the
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: car with him and let him drive home. He wasn't
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: drinking that much because he was cupping your aids. Whoa
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: she See what all this got to do with drinking,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: because I've done all this stuff without a sip. So
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: let's quit blaming this on drinking. Because now let's get
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: into what you said. He asked me if I had
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: ever thought about him in a romantic way, because he
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: said when we first met my daughter and I he
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: was initially attracted to me. Then you said, I clearly
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: remember that day and I did think he was fine.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Al Okay, lady, where that come from. You didn't even
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: have to put that in the letter. But you know
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: when he grabbed you, it took you, It froze you,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: and it took you several moments to push away. Then
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: you said, I'm only forty eight and a man ten
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: years younger can't handle me. That's not true. Oh lord lady,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: that's not true. You forty eight and a man thirty
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: eight can't handle you. That's not true. I've been thirty
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: eight before. Hello, forty boy. Let me tell you something.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I was twenty three one time. Yeah, yeah, grown, won't
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: it good? And grown taught me something. But after I
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: learned that though, who yeah, because the cutback ability I
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: had at twenty three was incredible. Oh you got me,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: but give me five minutes and watch this hill. I could,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I could. I did multiple shows in the night. It
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: was easy. That's why when I became a stand up
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: to do Fox shows in the night wasn't nothing for
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: me because I had been been four five shows I
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: was used to perform in multiple times in the night. Anyway,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a good thing. My boyfriend called what he did. Because
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: things heat it up quickly. I know I need to
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: talk to my daughter about her bad behavior, but I
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: need do I need to tell her about her husband's
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: behavior too. Well, then hold on, now you're also gonna
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: have to tell her about your behavior because you did
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: mention some bad behavior of your own in here. You
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: did think he was fine al and you did say
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: if your boyfriend had not called, things was heating up
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: really quickly, so you was entertaining the conversation and all
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: of this here. So now you can talk to your daughter.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: But I think the whole family kind a little bit tricky,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: and I think the dude to thirty eight year old
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: know it. So please write us back after you having
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: a fair with this boy that can't help it on y'all,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: put it on y'all at Instagram at Steve br BFM,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: and please check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is Junior with Sports Talk. Right
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show time
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: now for Sports Talk with Junior. Junior. What you got okay? Surely?
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: First of all, we want to give a shout out
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: to the Lost Angeles Rams that they parade very very different,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: very parade. Well you know, they was customing everything that
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: they parade on the bike, no shirt on, yeah, just
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: show it out it's a very different parade, very different baseball.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: When they everybody, everybody got the jersey on, they just waving.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: No they I didn't show it out. It's California. Man,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: shut up throwing them drinks. I said, what is all? Listen,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: it's not a regular parade here. Also, Drake wrote a poem. Yeah,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I'm assed you because because she know sure to know this. Uh,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: it's not even sports played, it just poetry. Yeah, Drake
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: wrote a poem to Odell Betham. And I am now
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: convinced that Drake listened to the show. And I want
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: to say thank you Drake for letting me be an
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: influence for you. Y'all didn't listen to this. This isn't
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: the poem, y'all. Don't hear me in this. You influence Drake?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Well this is a rappers. Yeah yeah, but then liten,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: listen to the poem. Don't call it just the parm
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: He says, I wish I got my fly was when
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: everything wasn't rosy? How am I supposed to smell him?
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: When everyone's being nosy. Pictures of me victorious they making
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: with Adobe make me thankful that a trophy was never
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: made me cozy for now I just want to feel something.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: After that, I want to heal something, and after that
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I want to build something. But the day I just
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: fulfiel something did that? I sound like me Adobe now,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: but Rosy come on, rosy h. That's my influence on Drake.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: It's kind of subpart because he is a rapper. I'm
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: doing better than them. He really a damn shame that
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: he got to put this on here. I mean his
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: vocabinets should be way more extended after five albums. I mean,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you gotta knows it a dobe closing. I thought of
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: all of that. So I just want Drake to know that, Man,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I appreciate you. Litt to the show. Get at me, dog.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: We could collab on some you know on the album.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Not a collabor He didn't say why he didn't say
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: the end at the That's because he don't know that part.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: That's the next level that I'm on that he ain't on.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I don't know how to say the end because see
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: everybody looking for another line. I figured it out for poetry.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: That's why I think it. Drake, appreciate you. Brother Soul
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: killed that, Yeah you killed it. Yeah I killed that
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: because I thought I'm influencing Drake. Do you know what, love,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: y'all gonna have to talk to me on now? It's
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: gonna talk to me right, y'all got the check now?
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: D the copy by flow. It's it. It's Jay wrapping
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: d rapping the building. Baby all right? Coming up next,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. A woman barred from
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: boarding a flight from Orlando to New York because she
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: appeared drunk led police on a wild chase on her
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: motorized get this her motorized suitcase before allegedly sitting at
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: a cop and then defecating in a patrol car. Uh yeah, awful,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: old huh Well, yeah, you can do that in a
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: patrol car. I damn. They did it probably three different times.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: But if you think, if you're going down here, get
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: your asswhip, you're gonna probably defecate in the back seat
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: to that car. He go here with the story ship.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Her name is Chelsea Alston. She's thirty two. She's seen
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: on a newly released body cam video at Orlando International Airport.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: This happened last year. She was rolling away from an
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: airport police officer on her motorized suitcase. Like I said,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: the officer pursued her on his bike through the airport,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: and when he caught up to her, she spit on
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: him twice twice, once in the eye. Two things you
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: need to know about this story. Number one is she white?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: On the secondly, how small wash right now? Because my
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: aunt can't ride her. I'll tell you that right now.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: But listen to what she said to the officer after
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: she spat in his eye. She flipped him off and
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: then she yelled, blank, you f you and sucked my blank.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: That's that's that's privilege. She black and white, sir, Come on, Chelsea,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: she was black? Wow? What she was black? What? What?
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: She don't know? All that time she fitted she black?
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: She fitted it some time. Yea, what you in for
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: suitcase ride? See that's some crackhead stuff right there. How
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: you even know you can ride your suitcase? I think
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I think kids do it all the time in the airport,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: but I've never seen an adult. Oh my god, sister,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I'm looking at it. A black lady did this, Yes, sir, Yeah,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: you know what you know you spit on somebody, but yeah,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: and his eye in his eye and defecated in the
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: police car ten mile an hour high speed, chasing the airport.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: He was on a bike. Yeah, see you on something.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: She has to be You're on something, brother, brother, Please
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: know you know how they're talking about him down at
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: the pre sinct. He didn't get spirit on any He
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: had to clean this car, you know how bad well
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: he handled it the right way professionally. I'm glad. I'm glad. Yes,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: she could have been worse. It could happen. Yeah, because
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I don't what nothing. You can't at all. I ain't
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: see it nothing car, I ain't see it. But but
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: but but but you go back then in the back
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: of my car and do it. You go back there
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: and do it. What happened? Chelsea often thirty two sent
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: me her picture. I want to know her when I
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: see her. That's sad though, Yeah, it is. It's terrible.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: That's some issues. She ain't gonna be welcome to the
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: fans reunion. I'm not having Chelsea can't come right here
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: with Grandmama's do that. No, I'm so disrespectful yet and
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: the words of j Anthony Brown, she gonna be remember
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: that time, she remember that time. I know you ain't
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: just set up in head and got a room table
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: and sugar Honey, I teed all over you. Not on
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: this seat. It's dimmed the ones, Herbert, I told you
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: to get all that the seats covered. Now coming to hill.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Leave the plastic off the tutor with the arms on it,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: because you didn't think nobody was gonna use the ones
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: at the end of the table. That is happening to
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: set up here. Moving back at twenty minutes after with
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: you're listening morning show. Well, guys, this story is pretty alarming.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Here a beach and sitting on straight Elia has been
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: temporarily closed after people enjoying a nice day at the
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: beach witnessed a fifteen foot shark eat a swimmers. According
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: to TMZ Yeah. TMZ reported that the attack happened while
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: people were fishing off the shoreline, and they heard the
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: swimmer scream and terror and saw the entire attack unfold.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: There is a video of the aftermath with people still
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: in shock over what they had seen. Police reported that
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: when they arrived, human remains could still be seen in
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: the water. So it begs the question why do people
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: still go into the ocean because this is a walk
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: right feet and I come right on back out, I
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: get right there. No, no, we ain't going there. Black
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: people go ankle deep. That's it, that's it. Yeah, I
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: mean this could have been prevented. This fifteen foot shark. Steve,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I'm aware about me. I'm not you know, stop what
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: I'm doing. I spent a lot of time on those
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: a lot of time. A lot of my vacations are
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: on the ocean. But you're own it, not in it,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: on the ocean, on not not And I want you
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: to put that acting in your hands. Different world. Yeah, no, no, no,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: And I don't like that. I've been I've been in
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: the ocean where I've asked the captain how deep is
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: the water right here? He says over five miles at
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: this point? What I need in that phone? I got
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: a problem with that. Coming up at thirty three minutes
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll do a round of would you rather?
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show It is time
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: now for would you rather? Would you rather play against
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Serena Williams in tennis or Tiger Woods in golf? Exemple
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: one of them? But yeah, I ain't gonna win number one.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: But I'm gonna have a better conversation with Tiger. Okay,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: with Tiger, Yeah, because you know, we get to walk
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: together and all this hing. I'm gonna asking a bunch
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: of questions and stuff. You know, I'm gonna embask myself
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: out there because I show. But first of all, he
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: teas off from the from the blacks, which means the
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: furthest teas back there. I tee off from the whites,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: the closest ones. It's only one tea closer. That's the red,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: that's the ladies teas. I like the tea off from
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: the white. I don't even like playing from the blues.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: The only thing you do white. Yeah, that's about it.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: But I'd rather play with Tiger because I have a
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: more interested coming, just like I'm gonna play with Serena.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I rather look at Serena. I'm gonna, well, you ain't
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: gonna look at it because she's gonna be pupping your ass.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I see, you can play with Tiger. You're gonna get
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: your ass kick with Serena. I can't beat Serena's daughter,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: but I'm gonna have fun. You can, Tommy. You're not gonna, Tommy,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: You're not gonna You're not gonna get one ball back
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: over the neck. It's gonna go buy you so fast
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: when you gonna hit the serena? What's gonna what? It's
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: gonna look good on YouTube though. All right? Would you
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: rather parishaal over the Grand Canyon be be? Oh really?
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Or would you rather ride in a race card with
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Bubba Watson during a competition? Oh? Bub yeah, yeah, Okay,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: all right, you don't want to be We're not getting
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: over there on a kite over the Grand Canyon. I'm
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: just rock. I'm gonna feel that whole canyon up. I
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: could talk to Bubba. Slow down, man, what we're doing here.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: We ain't gonna win this, Bubba quick rolling up one
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: These people like this now, I'd rather be with Bubba
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: in that car. You can believe that I'm not parasailing
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: over the way. You think they had a problem with
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: that black girl in that police car. Everybody down, everybody,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I got something. Everybody down in that can rocks too far?
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Real it in a sudden. All right, I think we
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: have time for one last quick one. Would you rather
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: eat curade chitterling soup, curade chitling soup or opossum stup
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: some soup. Yeah, I've had both. All right, thank you.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: That's today's edition of Would You Rather? Coming up at
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. Closing remarks from the
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this. Your listen.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: the day, our last break of the week. It's been
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: a great week. We had Usher earlier in the week, um,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: and today we had Tyler Perry, and we want to
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: say thank you, thank you, thank you to Tyler Perry.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Uh he was our special guest. Um. Don't forget AMA
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Media homecoming Friday, February twenty fifth on Netflix. We'll be
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: watching day Well. Thank you so much. It's gonna be
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: it's gonna be crazy. I know, time change, you know
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: it is. What an inspiration Tyler is, I mean everything.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: He's an interesting brother man. You know that kind of
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: leads me to my own to my closing. Because as
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: interesting as people are, as inspirational as other people can
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: be for you, and always use these people to ask inspiration.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Don't use them as jealousy and envy and all of that.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Just be proud that you see somebody when they're accomplishing something.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: That just really annoys me when I see people who
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: suffer from the trolls and the hatred out there because
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: they're doing something and doing well. But Bishop Jake's said
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: it in a sermon one time they talk about you
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: because you're winning. That's when they're talking about you. They
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: talk about you when you about something, when you're doing something.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: If you don't want nobody to talk about you, just stop,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: stop trying. Go over there and sit down somewhere. You
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: can end it right there. But in watching people and
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: using them as inspiration, also remember that's not your story.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: What Tyler has is for Tyler. That's not your story.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, that's not your story. What happened to Michael Jordan,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: that's not your story, Steve Harvey, that's not your story.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I'm talking to everybody out there. Don't look at somebody
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: else's life and try to pluck them out and plant
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: yourself intoday equation, because first of all, it's impossible to happen.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: You will never ever take the exact same path of anybody.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: The arrival that we all reach our destination has never
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: been done exactly that way before. Oh, you may have
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: similar circumstances. You may have similar outcomes. You may have
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: similar stories to tell, but the journey is yours. Your
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: story is yours. Understand that, and you can find contentment
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: in understanding that your story is uniquely yours. It's okay, man,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I wish I had Tyler Perry's money. You're not willing
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to do what Tyler Perry did. You're just not. You
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: may not even be capable of doing what Tyler did.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: So what do you keep talking about that? For? I
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: know that God is the architect and author of your
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: story if you allow him to be. And God has
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: a great story for you. God has a plan to
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: honor you and prosper you. He has a plan for that,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: but you got to lend yourself to his plan. And
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: what I've had to learn most of late, I wish
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I had known this earlier in my life, but I
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: thank God I got it now. When I ask God
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: for something, I always now incorporate that if it's in
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: his will and if it's in his timing. That releases
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: a lot of pressure. Man, because of everything I ask for,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: I ask for God to bless it, but I want
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: to make sure that it's in line with His will,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: and I get out out of the way and allow
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: for it to happen in his timing. The Bible says,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: be anxious for nothing. And that's a hard one to learn, man,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: For me, for everybody I know, be anxious for nothing.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: So what that tells me is don't sit up and
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: press press, press, press, press, and then won't won't won't, won't,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: won't won't, And then look up and it ain't happening.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: And now you're thinking because it's delayed, is denied. That's
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: not the case. It just wasn't in the timing. You've
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: got to be open to God's will and his timing.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I'm telling y'all, man, put some relaxation in your life
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: a little bit. Most people got high blood pressure, dying
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: from hypertension and all this here man, because they got
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: some pressure on themselves today. Body not built for You're
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: not built for tomorrow. You are built for today. The
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Lord's prayer clearly says, give us this day our daily bread.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Talking to all of us. You're not built to overly
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: concern yourself with tomorrow. If you put in all the
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: work that you're supposed to put into today, the decisions
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: you're making today will affect your tomorrow. But it's your tomorrow.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Is not for you to worry about it because you
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: don't know what tomorrow gonna bring. So you've got to
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: open up yourself to his will and his timing. I
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: know I keep saying the same thing, but I'm trying
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: to get you to understand it because it took me
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: so long to get it. I wish I had gotten
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: that aspect of it. Man. It released so much pressure
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: off me when I started to understand simply the fact
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: that because it's delayed doesn't mean it's denied. God has
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: a plan for you, man, but you got align yourself
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: up to his timing. I ain't never seen God come
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: right when I wanted him to come, because I want
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: it right now. I want it now. But guess what,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: I ain't never seen him be too late. That's all.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: It's like a magic trick. It's crazy. You hear old
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: people saying all the time, he may not come when
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: you want him, but he's right on time. He'd ever
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: been late. That's why I had to learn to open
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: up all my prayers to his will and his timing.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: It makes such a sister, releases a lot of pressure.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Just try y'all from now when you pray. Ask God
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: after you pray, and give me the strength and wisdom
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: to understand what is your will in my life, and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: let me have the patience an understanding for your timing.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Those are my clothing remarks. Have a great day, y'all,
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Talk to God and power love for all. Steve Every
