- 2:08Speaker 1: it only Steve Harley got a radio show today. I
- 2:14Speaker 1: want to just share something with you along your way
- 2:22Speaker 1: to wherever it is you're trying to get to. You know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: everybody has a different definition for success, and I'm not.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm not here to tell you what joy should be.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I mean, please pursue whatever you think success he is
- 2:36Speaker 1: aim as high as you can though, that's for sure.
- 2:41Speaker 1: My father used to say all the time. I'm sure
- 2:43Speaker 1: you all have heard it in different variations, but he
- 2:45Speaker 1: used to always say, aim for the moon. Just in
- 2:49Speaker 1: case you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars. Just
- 2:52Speaker 1: say that to me all the time. So that always
- 2:55Speaker 1: was in me to aim high. Now, he wasn't aim
- 3:00Speaker 1: with the intent to miss. He was just saying, aim
- 3:05Speaker 1: in case you miss, you're still amongst the stars if
- 3:09Speaker 1: you aim for the moon. But if you just aim
- 3:12Speaker 1: for that first flow winder and you miss it, you know,
- 3:17Speaker 1: usually run into some type of wall and nothing happens.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You slither down. You know. In my book, act like
- 3:23Speaker 1: a lady, think like a man. I told her people
- 3:25Speaker 1: that men love three ways. They profess, they provide, they protect,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and that's the core essence of a man's love. Well,
- 3:34Speaker 1: there's some other peas in life too. The number one
- 3:38Speaker 1: thing you have to understand about trying to be successful,
- 3:43Speaker 1: and I guess I call this the four peas. I
- 3:46Speaker 1: may come up with five along the way. I don't know.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'm just talking as is given to me. So I'm
- 3:52Speaker 1: gonna summer start by saying, as these are the four
- 3:54Speaker 1: peas of success that you have to get ready for.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Number one, it's pressure. A lot of it is applied
- 4:04Speaker 1: by the circumstance of what you're trying to go for
- 4:07Speaker 1: and what you're trying to do, but a lot of
- 4:11Speaker 1: it also is self imposed pressure. It's what you put
- 4:16Speaker 1: on yourself to make it. It's a sense of urgency,
- 4:22Speaker 1: it's a sense of necessity. But pressure is the first
- 4:28Speaker 1: thing I want you to be ready for. And pressure
- 4:30Speaker 1: comes in a lot of different forms, but it's going
- 4:33Speaker 1: to be pressured. As an old saying that pressure bust
- 4:36Speaker 1: to pipe. See, that's why most people turn around, because
- 4:39Speaker 1: of the pressure of trying to be successful. I want
- 4:42Speaker 1: you to get it in your mind that it is
- 4:45Speaker 1: going to be a pressure rized situation on your rise
- 4:48Speaker 1: to the top. Pressure, but understand that that is what
- 4:53Speaker 1: it is, is not going to change. That's it. Prepare yourself,
- 4:58Speaker 1: get ready for there to be pressure. The second thing
- 5:04Speaker 1: I want you to understand is when you receive this pressure,
- 5:08Speaker 1: you have to persist. You got to stay at it.
- 5:13Speaker 1: You got to develop a dog getness has a There's
- 5:20Speaker 1: a song who says, why must I feel like that?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Why must I chase the cat? Nothing but the dog
- 5:30Speaker 1: in me? That's a funny line in that song, because
- 5:35Speaker 1: really I was thinking about it one day. I was
- 5:37Speaker 1: humming it and and it, and it occurred to me, said,
- 5:42Speaker 1: why must I feel like that? Why must I chase
- 5:45Speaker 1: the cat? Nothing but the dog get me? And you know,
- 5:50Speaker 1: now you could take it in the literal says that
- 5:53Speaker 1: the cat chases the dog because it's innately is in
- 5:56Speaker 1: his spirit. That cats and dogs are a lot of
- 5:59Speaker 1: times enemies. Now people have pets in him, proving that
- 6:02Speaker 1: if you show love on both sides, they can exist.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And that happens too, but naturally innately, when your cat
- 6:10Speaker 1: goes by a dog, your dog don't recognize him. That's
- 6:12Speaker 1: some barking going on. I'm talking about just walking through
- 6:15Speaker 1: the neighborhood or something. So, but the reason that this
- 6:19Speaker 1: dog is so persistent towards this cat is just cause
- 6:25Speaker 1: it's in him. It's innately in him. And what I'm
- 6:31Speaker 1: saying to you, just using that as an analogy, is
- 6:35Speaker 1: that you got to be you got to be persistent
- 6:41Speaker 1: in that. You got to develop some dog in you
- 6:44Speaker 1: now because pressure takes some fighting back. See if you
- 6:49Speaker 1: don't fight back against pressure, pressure buster pipes, So what
- 6:52Speaker 1: you think it will do to you? Pressure, crack walls,
- 6:55Speaker 1: pressure calls, explosions. So if you don't fight back to
- 6:59Speaker 1: hold hold it in, you understand pressure does most people
- 7:04Speaker 1: in the simple thing called pressure, the weight of what
- 7:09Speaker 1: it feels like to want to be successful every single day,
- 7:12Speaker 1: over and over and over and over and over. It's
- 7:15Speaker 1: just too much pressure. People crack. You got to persist.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You have to persist. You can. The thought of giving
- 7:24Speaker 1: up can come, but you got to get it out.
- 7:27Speaker 1: You got to persist. The next thing I want you
- 7:32Speaker 1: to think about is another something that I've been thinking
- 7:36Speaker 1: about for years and learn for years. It's called perseverance.
- 7:41Speaker 1: To persist means to insist. Its keyword in insist and
- 7:47Speaker 1: persistence insists you must. You must insist that this is
- 7:52Speaker 1: going to happen. Now, the persist I'm assuming means it's
- 7:56Speaker 1: a proaction. It's some type of proaction that you go
- 7:59Speaker 1: towards it to make it. You know, persist, you gotta
- 8:03Speaker 1: be persisted. You gotta be constantly at insisting that it happens.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You gotta be constantly at it. But the next thing
- 8:10Speaker 1: I want you to remembers perseverance. Perseverance is important. Perseverance
- 8:15Speaker 1: means that when you've done your best, when you've persisted,
- 8:21Speaker 1: when you're fighting back against the pressure. Perseverance simply means
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm going to hang in here when if a crack
- 8:30Speaker 1: come into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there. If the
- 8:33Speaker 1: pipe bust, I'm gonna keep going if I gotta put duct,
- 8:38Speaker 1: take mud, whatever I got to put on this thing. Man,
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going to stay with it
- 8:48Speaker 1: no matter what. So we're looking at the three things again.
- 8:52Speaker 1: You got to understand that it's gonna be pressure that
- 8:55Speaker 1: you're gonna have to persist. Keyword and persistence insist. You
- 9:00Speaker 1: have to insist that no matter what the pressure is,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay with it. But then perseverance. If it
- 9:06Speaker 1: goes wrong, man, you got to get in there and
- 9:10Speaker 1: keep fighting. But then Lord Him Mercy. Nothing helps you
- 9:15Speaker 1: handle the three peas better than the fourth pea. You
- 9:18Speaker 1: got to pray. You got to use prayer. You gotta
- 9:22Speaker 1: talk to God. You gotta use faith. You gotta have
- 9:26Speaker 1: some conferences with him late at night, early in the morning,
- 9:30Speaker 1: in the middle of the afternoon, when you own the train,
- 9:32Speaker 1: when you're driving. You got to talk to God. Man,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you gotta get yourself some help along the way. Nothing
- 9:39Speaker 1: is bigger than prayer. There is nothing bigger than prayer.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Prayer will help you overcome the pressure. Prayer will help
- 9:46Speaker 1: you stay persistent, and Lord Him Mercy, prayer will help
- 9:49Speaker 1: you persevere them is the faux pas that just came
- 9:53Speaker 1: to me today. God gave that to me. I'm passing
- 9:56Speaker 1: it on. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, let me have
- 10:03Speaker 1: you undivided attention. Please, this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Uh,
- 10:07Speaker 1: we're back again. This is the new year. Man, everything
- 10:10Speaker 1: is looking up, sunshine, blue Skyhi, please go away. My
- 10:17Speaker 1: girl has found a nubble and go away. Then was
- 10:24Speaker 1: song man, if you don't shut your little young and
- 10:27Speaker 1: not musically inclined ass wrote nothing like that. Nobody's still saying. Yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 1: I like how you gotta fit it up. Yeah, you
- 10:40Speaker 1: ain't never seen the temptation stepping over each other. Say,
- 10:45Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning showy straw, Hey, hey, hey,

- 12:17Speaker 1: some help with that. Do I do so it? What
- 12:20Speaker 1: is it gonna be an item or trip? You want
- 12:23Speaker 1: to give her an item or experience? That's like an experience?
- 12:27Speaker 1: I think an experience. So that means to go somewhere
- 12:30Speaker 1: and do something exactly. And now after you get through
- 12:33Speaker 1: going and doing it, you ain't gonna give her nothing.
- 12:37Speaker 1: But I gave us someone. I gave us something to
- 12:39Speaker 1: go do something. Hold up, dog, Hold hold up. You
- 12:45Speaker 1: are talking about the woman who gave you children, the
- 12:50Speaker 1: mother of your children. You so you're talking about so
- 12:53Speaker 1: now you got some limitations at what you fit to give.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm not saying that, I'm just saying I'm giving us
- 12:59Speaker 1: someone I give her the trip. That's true, that's true.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Did she just give you one? Baby? No? Okay, I'm sorry,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I've just asked, so, so why she just get one?

- 15:09Speaker 1: to you you'll never lean back And you ain't never
- 15:13Speaker 1: leaned back and knock everything off the back of the tarlet,
- 15:19Speaker 1: flow candle, in the floe glade, in the flow everything.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Yeah all that, you ain't never done that. I told

- 15:29Speaker 1: old boy, so had whole hot water? Come on, come on,
- 15:33Speaker 1: no hot water. So yeah, okay. I reached over and
- 15:39Speaker 1: grab a toothbrush out the cup one time and just
- 15:41Speaker 1: snapped it in hand with your teeth. Couldn't take it, no, mo.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Sure I didn't reach over and grab the plunger and

- 16:15Speaker 1: helping Tommy buy a gift for his wife. We're not.
- 16:17Speaker 1: We're just talking about one last one though. I'm talking
- 16:22Speaker 1: about back in the day when when the only thing
- 16:24Speaker 1: in the bathroom was that J. C. Penny catalog. And
- 16:27Speaker 1: you have a toe a catalog in half. That's a freshman,
- 16:32Speaker 1: that's that's strip, a whole catalog in half. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:40Speaker 1: you all. I'm seriously go see a doctor, you guys. Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I've been screaming fiber last time. There's something wrong some fiber. Yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 1: I mean I don't need none now, but back we
- 16:51Speaker 1: need to call Oh yeah, yeah what none of that.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Back then, it was just d You know what I did.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I watched the rerun of the Titans beating the Patriots. Oh,
- 17:16Speaker 1: look at the game, just for fun because you're so happy, Tom,
- 17:23Speaker 1: But I watched the whole reason. I'm just so happy.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm actually might meet Tom Brady at the NFL honors
- 17:30Speaker 1: this year because last year I couldn't meet him because
- 17:32Speaker 1: he was in Super Bowl. I told him to do
- 17:36Speaker 1: something about it. He might be that issue. What are
- 17:40Speaker 1: you gonna say, Oh, I'm gonna say something messed uff.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You can't believe it. Hey, Tom, Tom Brady, I couldn't
- 17:49Speaker 1: meet you last year because you was in the Super Bowl.
- 17:51Speaker 1: My whole goal has always been to meet you, man,
- 17:54Speaker 1: greatest quarterback of the man there y'all. I can't tell
- 17:57Speaker 1: you how happy him to meet you. Oh, not really
- 18:00Speaker 1: to meet you, just that your aunt saint in the
- 18:01Speaker 1: Super Bowl. Stink. I want a good guy, you think
- 18:08Speaker 1: I want. I love Tom break, but I just don't
- 18:10Speaker 1: like the fact that they had leven damn years in
- 18:13Speaker 1: a row. Eleven years. I can't get to the playoffs
- 18:17Speaker 1: with the damn Browns since then, the damn playoffs, since
- 18:21Speaker 1: they started calling them playoffs. Yeah, who bank he goes
- 18:28Speaker 1: that last year. Yeah, he ain't gonna like it this year.
- 18:32Speaker 1: He that kind of funny when he met me last time.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm more Cleveland than you ever be. No, no, no,
- 18:39Speaker 1: you can believe that, and you send them here like
- 18:41Speaker 1: you the hot mess because they thought you were gonna
- 18:43Speaker 1: bring a title of time. Autam bought six Emmies and
- 18:46Speaker 1: fourteen Image Awards to Cleveland and two people's short What
- 18:52Speaker 1: you to do? That's gonna be interesting to watch the
- 18:57Speaker 1: NFL Honors. A matter of fact, I'm gonna write the
- 19:00Speaker 1: joke right now, broke all the stuff you've brought to Cleveland. Yeah, wow,
- 19:09Speaker 1: Well is that it? On the suggestions for Uh? Well, Tommy,
- 19:13Speaker 1: if we want an experience many once again, we need
- 19:17Speaker 1: to just no, I'm good. Come on, let's tell everybody
- 19:21Speaker 1: what we're talking about. Just in case. We're talking about.
- 19:24Speaker 1: My wife's birthday is two days from now, so James
- 19:27Speaker 1: very Knights. So so I'm saying Shirley's husband. So Uncle
- 19:32Speaker 1: Steve giving me pointers on what to get. I said,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I'd like to give her an experience and opposed to
- 19:37Speaker 1: and if you haven't done the experience by now, it's
- 19:41Speaker 1: gonna be one hell of put together evening. So we're
- 19:43Speaker 1: gonna we're just gonna charge it. Okay, charge it? Do
- 19:47Speaker 1: you want it to be? I'm pretty sure you want
- 19:50Speaker 1: it to be a gift where you are the beneficiary
- 19:53Speaker 1: at the end of it. That is the goal. Well,
- 19:56Speaker 1: you know what I gotta be honest with young Steve.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm shooting something this weeks, so I'm not gonna be
- 20:01Speaker 1: with her. So oh so this is great for me.
- 20:04Speaker 1: To give her an experience. Has to be an experience. Yeah, okay,
- 20:08Speaker 1: and you have a bad shoulder. You're gonna try something
- 20:12Speaker 1: like a spa day or something. No, Wenna, I won't
- 20:15Speaker 1: show I won't show opinion because you take it to
- 20:18Speaker 1: a whole nothing loft. You want my opinion? Get your
- 20:20Speaker 1: check book? Okay, oh, here we go, here, we go here?
- 20:24Speaker 1: How much your coins? Hell? No, exactly, why waste your time?
- 20:32Speaker 1: All right? Hold on, we gotta go all right, and
- 20:37Speaker 1: we gotta do run that prank back with the nephew
- 20:39Speaker 1: right after this too. You're listening, all right, we're back. Okay,
- 20:46Speaker 1: let's get to it. Steven's trying to help Tommy, all right,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I got it to give his wife an experience for
- 20:50Speaker 1: your wife. Okay, before we get to the run, that
- 20:53Speaker 1: call either Sacks or an Emon Marcus. I can do that, okay,
- 20:58Speaker 1: or Louis Vaton here or Gucci and have the personal
- 21:04Speaker 1: shopper bring her in everything in that size and fit,
- 21:09Speaker 1: and then here's your price range that she can shop
- 21:12Speaker 1: with and she can buy anything she wants long as
- 21:16Speaker 1: it's in that price range, and the personal shopper brings
- 21:19Speaker 1: her all the stuff in that little room for her.
- 21:21Speaker 1: It's nice, man, I did That's a cold experience. You
- 21:24Speaker 1: did that? Walk my girl all the way around that though.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I love I did that same thing. It's nice. Ain't
- 21:41Speaker 1: had a champagne. Okay, the prank first, Okay, okay, let's
- 21:46Speaker 1: do it. Uh. The Johnson's this is his the Johnson's
- 21:50Speaker 1: Freedom papers. What is that? My phone blew up yesterday?
- 21:55Speaker 1: Johnson's Freedom Papers. If you're Johnson and you live in Tennessee,
- 21:59Speaker 1: you ain't free. Here we go, come on though, Hello, Hello,
- 22:04Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Franklin Franklin Johnson's League. Yeah, this
- 22:08Speaker 1: is him, Franklin. How are you doing today? My name
- 22:11Speaker 1: is My name is Kyle Kyle Green. I'm with the

- 22:19Speaker 1: could I help you? But you were you were born
- 22:22Speaker 1: and raised in Tennessee? Am I correct? Yeah? Born and
- 22:25Speaker 1: raised in Tennessee? Okay? Now, uh do you do you
- 22:30Speaker 1: still live in in the Tennessee area? Now are you
- 22:32Speaker 1: in a different state? Rights? Still here? All? I wanna family.
- 22:37Speaker 1: The only Johnson is he's still here, living good. Okay,
- 22:41Speaker 1: all right, So here's what's going on. Um, it's been
- 22:45Speaker 1: brought to our attention here at the Immigration that anyone
- 22:48Speaker 1: in the state of Tennessee who has the last name
- 22:50Speaker 1: of Johnson. And I don't even know how to break
- 22:54Speaker 1: this to you or tell this to you, but it's
- 22:56Speaker 1: it's been brought to our attention here at the Immigration
- 22:58Speaker 1: that anyone in the state attend to see last name
- 23:01Speaker 1: Johnson for some reason. And we're gonna fix the problem.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But for some reason they're saying no Johnsons are free,
- 23:09Speaker 1: you know, like there's claws or something and some paperwork
- 23:13Speaker 1: or whatever. But what we need is we need all
- 23:15Speaker 1: the Johnson's to come in by six oclock, by six
- 23:18Speaker 1: o'clock today so we can try to take care of
- 23:21Speaker 1: the problem. If not, if all Johnson's that are not
- 23:24Speaker 1: reported in by six, you will have to get picked up.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I know this is a joke, like we we even
- 23:30Speaker 1: I know this is Joe Baby, I'm free. What are
- 23:33Speaker 1: you talking about? Like, well, you talking about you're talking
- 23:39Speaker 1: about the Johnsons ain't free. What do you what are
- 23:40Speaker 1: you talking about? Bumpy Johnson got for it. I don't
- 23:43Speaker 1: have anybody to check at Johnson then, Uh no, sorry,
- 23:48Speaker 1: this is this is a real This is a I
- 23:51Speaker 1: know this is crazy to get a phone call like this,
- 23:54Speaker 1: but like I said, we got some paperwork here. Everybody's
- 23:58Speaker 1: scramming around trying to get to the atom it is.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But bottom line is, we need all the Johnsons to
- 24:03Speaker 1: come in because, uh, right, right now, in the state
- 24:06Speaker 1: of Tennessee, no person was the last name of Johnson
- 24:09Speaker 1: is free right now, get the fun out in. What
- 24:11Speaker 1: are you talking about? What are you talking about? Are
- 24:14Speaker 1: you black? Yeah? I'm black, but yeah I'm black. Are
- 24:19Speaker 1: you free? Yeah, I'm free? So what are you talking about?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Coming to me talking about the sinse of my last
- 24:24Speaker 1: name Johnsons? My family got to come down to immigration
- 24:27Speaker 1: because we ain't free. Who the hell are you calling
- 24:30Speaker 1: me talking about some crap like that? Man, Okay, sure
- 24:33Speaker 1: the problem. We're gonna fix the problem, but we need
- 24:36Speaker 1: all Johnson's to come in. We're gonna fix of the
- 24:40Speaker 1: senses or something. I know I'm not something like that, Like,
- 24:42Speaker 1: why are you probably talking about Johnson? You are some uncle?
- 24:46Speaker 1: Tim asked, pulling me talking about Johnsons that we ain't
- 24:49Speaker 1: free and we gotta come down, and you're threatening my family,
- 24:53Speaker 1: this guy, I'm not I'm sure, I'm not. I'm not sure.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not threatening you all right. Like I said,
- 24:59Speaker 1: my name is Sky Green, I'm with immigrations. I'm just
- 25:02Speaker 1: trying to fix the problem. You know it to me
- 25:04Speaker 1: because your name is Green. So y'allos sure. I'm not
- 25:10Speaker 1: saying I'm better than you because my last name is Green.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm saying we have you are so saying that, Kyle,
- 25:16Speaker 1: mister Green, my name is Johnson. We come from a

- 25:45Speaker 1: them life can green eye terns howard looking? Most think
- 25:48Speaker 1: but it was a good head. I'm black, I happany,
- 25:51Speaker 1: I got a wide nose and I'm proud to be black.
- 25:53Speaker 1: And they're gonna have your life and ask for me
- 25:56Speaker 1: bring my family down there. You got some nerves. It's
- 26:00Speaker 1: all this tobolism amongst us. Okay, sir, can I expect
- 26:06Speaker 1: you to come down to immigration that except me for

- 26:43Speaker 1: the line. You life getting bubble? Okay? Okay, sir. All
- 26:47Speaker 1: I know is that you know we got you. We
- 26:50Speaker 1: were trying to get as many Johnson as be good
- 26:52Speaker 1: to come in. Tell me? Tell me is the one
- 26:55Speaker 1: that told us to call you? Okay? Franklin that's who
- 26:58Speaker 1: told us to call you? Who Tommy said? You probably
- 27:03Speaker 1: want to call Franklin Johnson and get him on the
- 27:06Speaker 1: line because he you know a lot of the other Johnson's,
- 27:09Speaker 1: and you can get him all to come in. That's
- 27:10Speaker 1: what knows what you think you think? I'm that mother
- 27:13Speaker 1: is gonna round the boardman Johnson. That's how it came
- 27:15Speaker 1: over from Africa. It was one black mothers. I think
- 27:18Speaker 1: I took him over of the poke about. It was
- 27:19Speaker 1: going on vacation and it came up over here. I'm
- 27:22Speaker 1: not rounding them, no, Johnson. Who the hell is Tommy?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Tommy Man? Tommy said you would do it. Tommy said
- 27:29Speaker 1: you would be cool with him. I don't know, no, God, Tommy,
- 27:33Speaker 1: he sound like w too. Okay, do you know do
- 27:36Speaker 1: you know nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Do you know that mother? Oh? I got my blood friends?
- 27:51Speaker 1: Hey man, oh man, Hey Franklin. Yes, hey Franklin took
- 27:57Speaker 1: us out. Man. Your boy Jay Rob is the one
- 27:59Speaker 1: that got me brank phone call you back. Oh he ain't.
- 28:02Speaker 1: He ain't allowed him to the BARBECI whiskey? What's he's
- 28:07Speaker 1: He's he taking some of that whiskey when he calls
- 28:09Speaker 1: me Marris. I don't know what he was when I
- 28:13Speaker 1: called him, bro, but he wanted me to make so
- 28:16Speaker 1: Frank Franklin, Jesus Christ oh Man, and you gotta tell
- 28:23Speaker 1: me to dry break and give it to me by Franklin, John,
- 28:27Speaker 1: you gotta tell me this. What is the baddest and
- 28:30Speaker 1: I mean the badest radio show in the lane? The
- 28:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show with neat Tommy all right, thank you, nephew,
- 28:39Speaker 1: coming up at the top of that's crazy, coming up
- 28:43Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Entertainment and National News.
- 28:46Speaker 1: That's right after this. You're listening morning show, all right,
- 28:53Speaker 1: This ongoing saga of what to buy Tommy's wife for
- 28:58Speaker 1: her birthday, Tommy, Steven's helping you out. Here's the best store.
- 29:03Speaker 1: The best store would be to get it done in
- 29:05Speaker 1: the department store. They all have the little private rooms
- 29:09Speaker 1: in the back. Facks Neeman, Marcus. You won't go high
- 29:11Speaker 1: end because you're living like that now. She had told everything,
- 29:16Speaker 1: so there in the back room she got a personal shopper.
- 29:18Speaker 1: This is a good time of the year because there's
- 29:20Speaker 1: a lot of stuff on sale, okay, and you get
- 29:24Speaker 1: more bang for you. But I would suggest Louis Vuton.
- 29:27Speaker 1: But ain't no sailing ever. Your money gets sucked up
- 29:31Speaker 1: real fast in there. Three bags shopping spree oval, she
- 29:37Speaker 1: won't even finish right. See, but if you go to
- 29:43Speaker 1: Neem and Marcus or Sacks, she could be in that. Now,
- 29:46Speaker 1: all we got to do is set the right dollar
- 29:48Speaker 1: amount give her and then half in there in the
- 29:53Speaker 1: envelope where only she sees it. You'll already have it
- 29:55Speaker 1: set up with the personal shoppers, so she'll know not
- 29:58Speaker 1: to bring nothing in that ex see, and she can
- 30:01Speaker 1: pre select a bunch of stuff in her side and
- 30:03Speaker 1: bring you the most bang for your buck. She might
- 30:06Speaker 1: bring ten fifteen items out there, probably more than that.
- 30:10Speaker 1: She could probably have thirty items in now. And all
- 30:13Speaker 1: you got to do is sect the dollar amount. And
- 30:15Speaker 1: I know the perfect dollar amount. I know. Okay, let
- 30:18Speaker 1: me hear your let me hear your dollar amount for you.
- 30:22Speaker 1: You can do this. Come on fifteen m okay, careful,
- 30:31Speaker 1: fifteen hundred and then and then she get the little
- 30:33Speaker 1: wine stuff they're not they're not giving you. Yeah, no,
- 30:40Speaker 1: you're not getting the room they're not open. Can bring
- 30:43Speaker 1: the damn champagne and four hundred dollars you're you're not getting.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That's not what you're getting for fifteen you tell my
- 30:50Speaker 1: fifteen thousand dollars? Who are you asked Steve Harvey, fifteen thousands. Yeah,
- 31:00Speaker 1: you got it, got it? What's wrong? Made more than that?
- 31:05Speaker 1: You just told us how many cities you was in
- 31:08Speaker 1: over the holiday that land I was then bowed to
- 31:12Speaker 1: mo I was didn't veal out of the shot. I
- 31:16Speaker 1: don't know how much you make all that right, matter
- 31:19Speaker 1: of fact? One of them A matter of fact, Timmy,
- 31:21Speaker 1: you really want to lay out one of them nights
- 31:23Speaker 1: pay should be her her Nah Now we're talking about
- 31:26Speaker 1: than had now, Hello, Hello, quit being cheap because your
- 31:30Speaker 1: asses heat and y'all to do something special for this
- 31:34Speaker 1: is a big birthday for man twenty five or ain't
- 31:38Speaker 1: she twenty five or something? I ain't gonna throw the number.
- 31:42Speaker 1: You can't throw a number out that. I'm throwing a
- 31:44Speaker 1: number out that I've been in trouble. List one right here.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I'm still trying to fix this one because I had
- 31:49Speaker 1: her down in can Coon on her fifty fifth birthday,
- 31:51Speaker 1: double Nickels five five. I'm throwing a party with damn
- 31:55Speaker 1: cake down in Mexico. Man, So something to think about,
- 32:00Speaker 1: wouldn't you say? No, man, we cut that in hand, Okay,
- 32:03Speaker 1: we cut that down to cut in your head. But
- 32:05Speaker 1: it ain't gonna work though, twenty one boy, I'll tell
- 32:11Speaker 1: you what, Tommy dog and let her go in there.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Ball you ain't and you ain't there, and you worked
- 32:19Speaker 1: on her birthday. You've heard that, Oh, you just gonna
- 32:22Speaker 1: work on my birthday, goes, I've heard that one bit.
- 32:25Speaker 1: You're right, Steve, I'm with you. And oh I've heard
- 32:28Speaker 1: that one before. So you just gonna work on my birthday?
- 32:32Speaker 1: You want me to go with her, Tommy, you want
- 32:34Speaker 1: me to go with Tommy, Tommy this year, I'm working
- 32:38Speaker 1: on my birthday. She ain't said a damn thing about that. Well,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I guess where you're being Africa for your birthday. But
- 32:45Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not allowed to get mad. Congratulations tom Man.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Just all right, let's go. We gotta we gotta move
- 32:54Speaker 1: on and get to the headline. Steve, ladies and gentlemen,
- 32:57Speaker 1: miss and Tripp, thank you for very much. Harry Body.
- 33:00Speaker 1: This is answer for the news. Both the European Union
- 33:03Speaker 1: and NATO are now dealing with the fallout from President
- 33:06Speaker 1: Trump's drone attack that killed Iranian military leader Customs Salomoni.
- 33:10Speaker 1: The EU, which broke of the Iran nuclear deal. They're
- 33:12Speaker 1: trying to salvage something. They're trying to keep Iran's reactions
- 33:16Speaker 1: to the point where they could reverse any decision if
- 33:18Speaker 1: they want to. But the Persian government says it will
- 33:21Speaker 1: no longer abide by the agreements restrictions on its uranium
- 33:24Speaker 1: and richmond program. At Solomoni State's a funeral yesterday, actually
- 33:29Speaker 1: people started running and everything, and a lot of screaming
- 33:32Speaker 1: and crying. Thirty two people ended up trampled, according to
- 33:36Speaker 1: government reports over there, trampled to death. Another one hundred
- 33:39Speaker 1: ninety others injured. Meanwhile, the leading Democratic presidential candidates are
- 33:43Speaker 1: reacting to Trump's drone hit on Iranian General Casima Salomoni.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders were all in
- 33:51Speaker 1: Iowa yesterday and they all say Trump's acted recklessly. Fact
- 33:55Speaker 1: is that I don't think he has any idea what
- 33:57Speaker 1: he's dealing with. I never thought that I see something
- 34:01Speaker 1: quite like this. Donald Trump has lost all credibility with
- 34:04Speaker 1: the American people, and he's lost all credibility around the world.
- 34:09Speaker 1: That really costs us, particularly as his country has moved
- 34:13Speaker 1: to the brink of war. I remind everybody the Trump
- 34:17Speaker 1: campaigned on ending endless wars, and he says, now, Sanders says,
- 34:22Speaker 1: we're going to have to pay a lot of money.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Maybe also in the blood of Americans may have peate
- 34:27Speaker 1: Buddha judges out there. He told MSNBC that while nobody
- 34:29Speaker 1: should mourn the death of General Solomony, that does not
- 34:32Speaker 1: mean that killing him was the wisest thing to do.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Disgrace film mogul, howevery Weinstein in court in New York City,
- 34:40Speaker 1: where the jury selection begne for his trial and alleged
- 34:42Speaker 1: criminal sex activity. Weinstein's pled not guilty to the charges.
- 34:46Speaker 1: He insists that there was no non consensual sex involved.
- 34:50Speaker 1: The once powerful movie maker charged with sexual offenses against
- 34:53Speaker 1: two women in New York. Meanwhile, more than eighty females
- 34:56Speaker 1: totally have accused him of assaulting them. A trial now
- 34:59Speaker 1: under getting under now in Los Angeles hasn't gotten on
- 35:02Speaker 1: the way yet, but a trial data set. Actress Rose
- 35:04Speaker 1: McGowan joined other demonstrators yesterday outside the courthouse. No matter
- 35:08Speaker 1: what lies you tell yourself, you did this. Today, Lady
- 35:12Speaker 1: Justice is staring down a super predator. You. Winstein has
- 35:18Speaker 1: been charged in California with raping one woman and sexually
- 35:20Speaker 1: assaulting another in separate instance over a two day period.
- 35:24Speaker 1: If convicted in La, Weinstein faces as much as twenty
- 35:26Speaker 1: eight years in New York. Maximum is life in prison.
- 35:30Speaker 1: MC two six point five quake chook Puerto Rico this
- 35:34Speaker 1: morning on Monday of five point eight earthquake shook. Luckily,
- 35:37Speaker 1: no serious injuries reported today. To celebrate the wind to
- 35:41Speaker 1: day and we will have to come back to the
- 35:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 35:47Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, so we know our girl Carla
- 35:50Speaker 1: is going through this at the house Carla work, but
- 35:54Speaker 1: Julie is here to help you out. He's got the
- 35:56Speaker 1: dudes and don'ts when your booth team lost the playoff.
- 36:00Speaker 1: These are the dude and don't for all the boots
- 36:03Speaker 1: that you don't tell your man right now, Like number one,
- 36:06Speaker 1: don't use the phrase it's just a game. Don't tell
- 36:11Speaker 1: him that right now. You can't tell this man that
- 36:15Speaker 1: right now. You're not supposed to say that. No, the
- 36:17Speaker 1: loss is still fresh. Here's another phrase you can't use.
- 36:22Speaker 1: It's always next year. No, this was this year. Don't
- 36:28Speaker 1: say that this loss is still fresh. It just too
- 36:31Speaker 1: It just happens. Son, Yeah, if they mad at the referee,
- 36:37Speaker 1: your ass man at the referee. You've gotta go with.
- 36:40Speaker 1: The file is on the plane, just say something. All
- 36:43Speaker 1: that touching they're doing, just say that you ain't got
- 36:46Speaker 1: to know the call. You just mad the referee because
- 36:50Speaker 1: he made cuse when he comes. That's a dude, if
- 36:57Speaker 1: he losing game. It's never a good idea to say, well,
- 37:00Speaker 1: let's just go to a sports bar and get something
- 37:02Speaker 1: to eat. Now, now we just watch this. We lost.
- 37:05Speaker 1: We don't want to be in the sports ball You
- 37:09Speaker 1: don't want that. There's the dudes and don'ts when your
- 37:13Speaker 1: boot lost his game. If you're rooting for the other team,
- 37:16Speaker 1: please please don't wear the rival colors around me were
- 37:20Speaker 1: playing another team. Don't you come in here with no
- 37:22Speaker 1: purple long? Okay, do that right after they lose. Here's
- 37:30Speaker 1: another don't don't try to strike up no clever conversation.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Just sit there and enjoy the silence of the rest
- 37:36Speaker 1: of Yes. Don't still be trying to add what I
- 37:38Speaker 1: want to do now? I don't want to do nothing. Man,
- 37:42Speaker 1: it's not a good idea to suggest. How about we
- 37:45Speaker 1: throw your team lost party and you can invite your friends.
- 37:48Speaker 1: They don't make you feel better. Don't don't fight. No,
- 37:57Speaker 1: we are to have a lost party. Who do that?
- 38:01Speaker 1: And here's the last one, Carlor, don't do this if
- 38:04Speaker 1: you don't know anything about sports, don't ask dumb questions
- 38:08Speaker 1: like what was that the super Bowl? Or did your
- 38:11Speaker 1: team win? Or I think we should be a two
- 38:13Speaker 1: out of three? They on two out of three and
- 38:15Speaker 1: playoff football? One damn game? Hey, I love it. Here's
- 38:23Speaker 1: through two things you can't say. Next week, the Vikings
- 38:27Speaker 1: is gonna be playing. Don't bet on the Viking. And
- 38:33Speaker 1: then the last thing you can't say to a Saints
- 38:36Speaker 1: fan is it didn't look like passing the fens to me?
- 38:42Speaker 1: You say that that was passed in the fish? Anybody down?
- 38:48Speaker 1: Don't get damn what they say? Who that was? Answer
- 38:52Speaker 1: the fish? Parting coming up and thirty four after the
- 38:58Speaker 1: hour of Steve stock Show Steve on Watch on Facebook Watch,
- 39:02Speaker 1: is a what is a hit? Wow? Let go we'll
- 39:07Speaker 1: talk about it right now. You're listening to show. Well, well, well,
- 39:19Speaker 1: yesterday was the season premiere of Steve's new talk show,
- 39:22Speaker 1: Steve on Watch on facebook Watch, and we're just loving
- 39:27Speaker 1: the episode. Steve. Take a listen to when Steve talked
- 39:30Speaker 1: to a woman her name was Sabrina about dating three
- 39:33Speaker 1: guys and one of those guys is in the import
- 39:36Speaker 1: export business. Take a listen, this cannot be the life
- 39:41Speaker 1: you want. It's not. But this realization has just came about,
- 39:45Speaker 1: like this is new. It was fun, it was cool.

- 40:02Speaker 1: go to jail or you gonna die. That's the game.
- 40:06Speaker 1: So you have to decide if that's the life for you.
- 40:09Speaker 1: The financial guy, huh is really not your type? No,
- 40:13Speaker 1: not at all? How you know, because because I ain't stupid.
- 40:20Speaker 1: If you meet a guy that's your type and he
- 40:22Speaker 1: financially said, what is the other? Dude? All right, Steve, Steve,
- 40:35Speaker 1: Guess who's good? Bye? Guess who's bad? Yeah? I look
- 40:46Speaker 1: at you know what people said he was supposed to
- 40:48Speaker 1: be doing it. You know they told me coming back
- 40:52Speaker 1: and doing ellen today? Yes, lord, okay, yes, lord. And
- 41:00Speaker 1: ain't bringing it up about got invited back down to
- 41:04Speaker 1: the super Bowl, Dude, the NFL honors. You ain't bringing
- 41:09Speaker 1: it up, but not feel guilty about any of the
- 41:14Speaker 1: I'm just talking about the Lord. Now come on. And
- 41:17Speaker 1: on January fourteen, I go back to Africa taping a
- 41:24Speaker 1: full season for Family Feud in Ghana. What in Africa?
- 41:31Speaker 1: You y'all have no idea? How funny this is, y'all.
- 41:35Speaker 1: It's gonna air in April. I shot South Africa first,
- 41:39Speaker 1: then I'm going back to shoot Ghana. Let me tell
- 41:42Speaker 1: y'all something. First of all, it's a one hour show
- 41:45Speaker 1: instead of thirty minutes. The funniest part is, you know
- 41:49Speaker 1: your boys English ain't the best. Yeah, well, now I'm
- 41:54Speaker 1: over here and I'm the one who has an accent.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Do you know? Do you know the answers? Dog h No, No,
- 42:02Speaker 1: just like on the game show. And I really don't
- 42:04Speaker 1: know these because we specifically tailored a lot of the
- 42:09Speaker 1: question culture to their culture. So I'm that's they're saying stuff.

- 53:49Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Thank you enough you. Subject, the
- 53:52Speaker 1: child won't understand this. There, Stephen Shirley, I am a
- 53:56Speaker 1: thirty four year old single mother. I have had the
- 54:00Speaker 1: same best friend for twenty years and she is my
- 54:03Speaker 1: daughter's godmother. My daughter's father died when she was two
- 54:07Speaker 1: years old, and my best friend said she would always
- 54:10Speaker 1: be there for my child. Well, she has not kept
- 54:14Speaker 1: her promise. My daughter is seven years old now and
- 54:17Speaker 1: she has a spicy personality and behavioral problems. She acts
- 54:23Speaker 1: out when she's upset, and she has a problem with
- 54:26Speaker 1: being disrespectful to adult. I have tried everything to discipline her,
- 54:31Speaker 1: but nothing has worked. This past Saturday, her godmother took
- 54:35Speaker 1: her to a birthday party for me so I could
- 54:38Speaker 1: rest and nurse a cold. Within thirty minutes of leaving,
- 54:41Speaker 1: my child walked back in yelled at the top of
- 54:44Speaker 1: her lungs at her godmother. The godmother said that as
- 54:48Speaker 1: soon as she got to the party, this child of
- 54:50Speaker 1: mine insulted the birthday girl and told her that her
- 54:54Speaker 1: hair was a mess, her party decorations were terrible, and
- 54:58Speaker 1: her house was stea My best friend said she was
- 55:02Speaker 1: so embarrassed she drugged my daughter out of the party,
- 55:05Speaker 1: kicking and screaming. I know my friend was very upset,
- 55:09Speaker 1: but I thought as an adult she should have handled it.
- 55:12Speaker 1: A few hours later, I called my best friend to
- 55:15Speaker 1: see if she cooled off. She said she wasn't mad,
- 55:17Speaker 1: but she is done with my daughter for good. She
- 55:21Speaker 1: denounced her title as the godmother of my child. I
- 55:25Speaker 1: didn't even know you could do that. She doesn't want
- 55:27Speaker 1: my child to interfere with our friendship. I'm like, what,
- 55:30Speaker 1: who does that? I tried reasoning with her, but she
- 55:33Speaker 1: kept saying that she's not changing her mind. It's going
- 55:36Speaker 1: to devastate my child because she loves her godmother. So
- 55:40Speaker 1: how will I tell my child that her godmother quit her?
- 55:44Speaker 1: I'm so upset? Well, I mean, really, can you blame
- 55:47Speaker 1: her though? I mean, no one likes a bad but child,
- 55:50Speaker 1: just no one likes bad babies type kids. No one
- 55:53Speaker 1: likes them but their parents. Sorry, and you're her mom,
- 55:56Speaker 1: so you know, I mean, truth be told. Her godmother
- 56:00Speaker 1: might come back if little goddaughter, you know, is better behaved. Um,
- 56:07Speaker 1: but I just got to ask where is she getting
- 56:09Speaker 1: this attitude? I mean at seven years old? Who who?
- 56:13Speaker 1: What kind of little friends does she have? Um? She's disrespectful,
- 56:18Speaker 1: as she showed at the party. She's unruly, She's way
- 56:21Speaker 1: too grown she's just a bad little kid. I mean,
- 56:23Speaker 1: what is wrong? Are you doing your part as mom
- 56:27Speaker 1: h and as her as her mother? Okay as her mother? UM,
- 56:36Speaker 1: I think you gotta know that this is more than
- 56:39Speaker 1: what you call a spicy personality. I think you're overlooking
- 56:43Speaker 1: this whole thing because she's your daughter. I think you
- 56:46Speaker 1: just can't wait for the godmother to godmother to come
- 56:49Speaker 1: over and discipline your child. The stuff that your godmother
- 56:52Speaker 1: does every once in a while, every now and then,
- 56:54Speaker 1: that's not gonna stick. That's not gonna stay with your child.
- 56:57Speaker 1: It really isn't um, you know, and she could very
- 57:01Speaker 1: well be through with your daughter because your daughter did
- 57:04Speaker 1: act up. The question is why is she doing all this?
- 57:07Speaker 1: And if it's going to devastate your child so much
- 57:10Speaker 1: because she loves her godmother, maybe you know that would
- 57:14Speaker 1: reel your daughter in and make her behave better. But
- 57:17Speaker 1: I think the best thing to do is to get
- 57:20Speaker 1: your daughter into some kind of therapy right away. I
- 57:22Speaker 1: know people will disagree with me. Someone are just gonna
- 57:25Speaker 1: say you should whoop her a little behind. I know
- 57:29Speaker 1: people are gonna say that, but I mean, she's only seven.
- 57:32Speaker 1: She's only seven. You maybe me it's their fool. But anyway,
- 57:41Speaker 1: that's what I think about this, because you know she
- 57:44Speaker 1: suffered major loss. I mean even though she was only
- 57:47Speaker 1: two years old. You're a single mom. There is no
- 57:49Speaker 1: man in the home. She could just be acting out.
- 57:52Speaker 1: So get her into some therapy. Okay, Steve, please please?
- 57:57Speaker 1: Oh I thought you had more. Okay, everybody ready? Yes,
- 58:04Speaker 1: Happy Knew Year. This is random Jesus. Well, you're thirty
- 58:16Speaker 1: four year old single mother. You got this best friend
- 58:20Speaker 1: you didn't had for twenty years. She's your daughter's god mother.
- 58:25Speaker 1: That's a given title. That's just the inner, you know,
- 58:30Speaker 1: when you're somebody god mother, godfather, that's just a title.
- 58:36Speaker 1: You ain't really posted do nothing, got really really, dog listen,
- 58:44Speaker 1: just you don't really posted to do nothing. If that's
- 58:47Speaker 1: your god mother, that's your god cousin, that's your god brother.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah you ain't. You ain't really posted
- 58:52Speaker 1: to do nothing. All right. She said her father died
- 58:57Speaker 1: when she was two, and your best friend said she'd
- 58:59Speaker 1: always to be there for your child. Everybody say that.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Don't nobody mean that? That's just gonna be real. Who
- 59:09Speaker 1: mean that I'll always be there for your child? That
- 59:13Speaker 1: means I'll always know them. Her name Brenda, Yes, Brenda dog,
- 59:21Speaker 1: but sheiqua yes, but sheiqua well, she has not kept
- 59:26Speaker 1: her promise. My daughter is seven years old now. She
- 59:30Speaker 1: has a spicy personality and behavioral problems. Pump your brakes
- 59:34Speaker 1: right there. Saven year old with a spicy personality and
- 59:38Speaker 1: behavioral problems. You know what that means? This little health
- 59:45Speaker 1: for crazy, samn year old, Little health for crazy. I
- 59:50Speaker 1: ain't on Steve nothing. She acts out when she's upset,
- 59:56Speaker 1: and he go the big one. She got a problem
- 59:58Speaker 1: with being disrespectful to adults. You know why because she's
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: been allowed. Hello, now when I come back here come
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: the truth. All right, all right, we're gonna have part
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the hour. Subject of today's Strawberry letter, the child won't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: understand this. We'll be back right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Steven show. All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters. Subject the child won't understand this? Well, what
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: thirty four year old lady got a friend, been there
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: free in twenty years, got a little girl. The little
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: girl father to die when she was two. The lady
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: that's been her free and is her god mother. We've
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: discussed this. That don't mean nothing. That title, that term
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: ges the throwaway line that's like, hey, happy New Year,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Give a damn, how your year ago? We've just got
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: this year out. Save eybody. Yeah, Happy New Year, Happy
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: New Year. It's the seventh. It's just tradition. It's that tradition.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: How are you today? Like, I give a damn now,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I really don't want to know how you do today.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I want you to say I'm fine. I don't want
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: to hear about your problems god mother, godfather the same thing.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: How you doing, how you feeling that? We don't really
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: want to know that now. She says she'd always be
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: there for the little girl, and she ain't kept of
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: problems the little girl seven years old. He got a
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: spicy personality and behavioral problems flash. That means it's little
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: health of crazy. He acts out when she's upset, okay,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: And she has a problem with being disrespectful to adults.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And you know why she has a problem with being
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: disrespectful to adults because she has been allowed to be
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: disrespectful to adults and ain't been no consequence. I have
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: tried everything to disappeine her, but nothing has worked. Oh no,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: you ain't. Oh no, yeah ain't. You ain't did everything.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: If you did everything, you wouldn't be writing this damn letter.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: You've tried some things, you ain't done everything. Time out
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: that ain't work. Told her she couldn't go outside. Don't
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: nobody give a damn about that. No more, go to
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: your room. Hell, that's where my computer that I'm good. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get you nothing for Christmas. Have far
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: got a whole year for you to change your mind. Yeah,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I've tried everything, but nothing has worked. You ain't tried everything.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: But let's move on. Let's move this past. Said that
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: her godmother took her to a birthday party for me.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Now keep in mind who took her. That her god
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: mother the throwaway title. Now just this samething. The mama
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: took her grandmother. Her godmother took her this party for
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: me so I could rest in nurse a cold. Thirty
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: minutes after leaving, my child walked back in the house,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: yelling at the top of her lungs at her god mother.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: You don't bring me back to this damn party. I
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: just went to the party. How you're gonna bring me back.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: You don't bring me back, bought back because your ass
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: can't dry. You're back in this house because you don't
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: know how to act, The godmother said. As soon as
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: she got to the party, this child of mine insulted
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: the birthday girl, told her that her hair wasn't mess,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: her party declaration was terrible, and her house was spaking.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: We gotta get this help out of here, s the
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: godmother said. I got to get this little ignorant health
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: of out this woman house. She hid this and kill
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: everybody in him. It wasn't a little girl she was
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: concerned about. It was the little girl who Mama threw
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: the party that didn't invited. Joe Poe asked daughter over
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: to the house that ain't bought the damn gift. You
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: know why, because she funking and she got a bad attitude.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: So she just over there insulting some people's house. So
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: your best friend says, she was so embarrassed she drugged
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: her daughter out the party, kicking and screaming like she
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: was posed to. Because you know why, she the god mother.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: She ain't got invest no more on her day in
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: this little help for your little girl crazy. I know
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: my friend was very upset, but I thought as an adult,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: she could have handled it better. Oh you're talking about
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: handled it better to the little girl. That's disrespectful to adults.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: You thought she could have handled it better. I agree
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: with you right there. I think she could have handled
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: it better too. Think of what Iuda did. As soon
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: as she said something about the little girl messed up here,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I'd have missed her hand. Now you're both standing here
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: with your hair all over your head. How you like that?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: And then i'd have said something about her dress out
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: of threw punch on her dress. Now everybody outfit messed
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: up and out of stuff to one of them balloons
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: in her little ragged ass mouth because she keeps running it.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: That's how Ida handed. Oh we just stayed at the
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: party because I'm not going to the party and don't
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: get no damn cake. So we got leaving this party
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: right here. I'm I like going to kids party because
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: kid part of her good as cake because they had
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: a little crazy ass writing on her. But it'd be
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: red velvet on the inside. So I don't know why
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: you think we'venna lead this party about this cake? Beat
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: your daughter ass and bought her back. But see, you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: know why she don't beat your daughter as because she
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: just a god mother. Now she was the grandmother. She
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: bought her little baby back home with a couple wounds
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: on her ass, but she bought this look crazy health
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: of back. A few hours later, I called my best
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: friend to see if she cool off. She said she
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: wasn't mad, but she's done with my daughter for good.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I'm through. I don't want to be the godmother, Tyl anyway.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: I ain't never gonna be damn godmother. But you said
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you beat that for a lot differ far as I go,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I ain't beat that normal. I've been I ed to
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: beat that normal. I'm just a god mother. I ain't
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: gonna be a normal. I won't finish this letter when
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: I come back because I got motor sake. I got
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: motor sake. Take all right. Poster comments on Today's Strawberry

- 1:06:55Speaker 1: is part three, by the way, Part three of a
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: letter of a seven year old and ain't got no
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: home training that had problems, uh funking attitude when her
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: godmother went and picked up to take her to a
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: party for her sick ass friend got to the party.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Now her friend wasn't really sick. Her friend knew what
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: was gonna happen at the guard at the party and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: decided she wasn't going over to the party. Let me
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: take somebody else to the party. Take did a little
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: crazy to help him over here and shore and that's
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: exactly what she did. Took a little crazy ass over
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: that insulted the girl's health, talked about the declaration and everything.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Now I can't get no damn cake. Now I didn't
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: draw you way over here. Now we're back in the house.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: The little up ass girl coming to the house, just
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: just just cussing everybody else because you know, when you
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: got a nasty child with that hairs up, spicy personality
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: and behavioral problems, ain't they unattractive children? Ain't I don't
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: care how cute the baby is. Once they got a
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: spicy personality and behavior problems the lands little kids, then
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: that's when you're starting finding something wrong with your kids.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: You look just like your damn daddy. Yeah up here,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: your glass sitting up in here. You look just like
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: your grandmother. Vow care for her either, and she took
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: a little uglass out of the house, insulting people like
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: she que seven year old little health got behavioral problems
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: in us spicy personality. You can beat spice out of
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: a child. You can get the spice right out of day. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: come on, you got to have behavioral problems. I have
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: no You be quiet, Shelley, You sitting up here. Time
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I go to therapy, I never went to there. I
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: had a spicy ass personality and I had behavioral problems,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: all of it at the same time. Nick Harvey got
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: rid of all of that in eight nine ass whippings.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: I no longer had a spice animal, and I didn't
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: have no behavioral problems because my daddy, Nick Harvey, we
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: ain't had no money for You cannot going down now,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: laying on the white folk couch with no legal band
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: sharing your problem. I'm gonna beat your ass until you
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: straighten your stupid ass up. Look at me, Look at me.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: I had behavioral problem, my ain't I study? He beat
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: me till I started stuttering. Now, then she's done with
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: your daughter for good. She denounced her title as the
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: godmother my child because it ain't really no title. I
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: ain't the godmother no more. That probably lass gone. Now
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: we can hand the part god. We'll be back with
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: the morning show. Carlot. You have a special edition of
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: your reality updates. You're gonna talk about Power and I
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: didn't get no cake. All right, we'll be back at
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: the top right after. I love it. You're listening Steve
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Tommy, come on, introduced him.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Let's go, let's go, let's go. It's call a Farrell
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: with what Reality Update. Yeah, we're doing a special edition
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: guys of Reality Update today, but we're gonna do it
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: on the scripted TV show Power because that's trending right now.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Everybody saw the show. And come on, Steve, you know
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I love it when you say, who chi who child girl?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: When that man fell off that building, I saw as
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: they are falling off that building, to see what a
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: lot of people don't know if they think Ghost died
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: when he got pushed. He actually bounced on the awning
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: down below the right up? Yeah, Ghost asses back then
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: and bounce back in the damn when I'll be damn
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: stupid dog. We can't go no matter what we do
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: in the window. All right, all right, Dave, you can
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: kill him. All right, let's talk about it. So Sunday
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Night the episode. So here's the thing. These are the
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: final episodes of who shot Ghost? So that is the question.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: So if you didn't watch Sunday too bad, fall alert.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Here we go. What we learned is you gotta go
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: back to that day. So what Steve is talking about
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: when ghosts failed, he actually got shot. So who are
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the suspects who shot him? So on that particular, who
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: did go shoot when he bounced back up off that on?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: And question go ahead, that's the bigger question. So anyway,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: we got to see what happened with Dre that day
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: and what went down with Dre. And you know Ghost
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: has done some dirty stuff, you know, killing, adultery, drug dealing, betrayal,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: so you know he's got to pay for his actions
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: and his decisions. Adultery is not a crime, but he
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: was married and he had an affair. It's not a crime,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: it's a sin. Yeah, I can't go to jail, but
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: he has a sin. Well what I'm karma? I was
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: just a statement. I was not trying to Timmy. You
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: want to keep talking with that one pass sin? We
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: all my ass anything for two thousand and five, you
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: can include me in. But after that, clean slate on Steve.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: After that, all right, So listen, Dre went to jail.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Dre robbed his own mama to get money. I thought
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: he was gonna kill his mama. Did you see that? Yeah?
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I saw that. I thought he was to come who
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: points man, come on, thank you your mama, your mom, mama.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: That's when the show lost a lot of its blackness.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: That was a white writer in the room, point the
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: gun at your mom, and he's gonna walk right out. Problem.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah. So you know, anyway, the police wants answers. Uh.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: So Dre went to ghosts for money. He went to
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Tyreek and to Tasha. Was a lot going on Tasha
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Saint Patrick. So Consulman Tate, who was played by Lorenz Tate.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: He helped Dre to get himself together so Drake can
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: leave town. But as you know too, Bit and Spanky,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: we're in prison, and they were trying to get revenge
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: on Dre. So burn baby burn, they to them. I
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: love to Yeah, yeah, so I like that. Man. I'm
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. When him and Al Foulful show
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: and they had that wagon show right there, Al Fouful
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: spanking wouldn't have been nothing without our Foulful. That's all out.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Just put that out there, so Dre is not a suspense,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: so we could take that out of it. So that
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: lips by Carla, tell me who you think shot goes.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: We'll be back into the crazy who shot buck wheat
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: the biggest you're listening to show, all right. As a
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: situation in the Middle East continues to boil, defense officials
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: now say three Americans were killed in an attack on
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: a military base in Kenya early yesterday. The USA Africa
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Command says in a statement one US service member and
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: two civilian contractors with the Department of Defense were killed. Additionally,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: two other defense employees were wounded and being evacuated. The
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: militant group Al Shabab is claiming responsibility for the incident,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: also alleging they destroyed planes, helicopters, and vehicles. The attack
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: happened in the pre dawn hours at a military base
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: in Kenya, which borders Somalia. The breach began at a
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: nearby airfield. Within at least four attackers killed. We are
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: praying for our servicemen and women, Yes we are. Yeah,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: you know you hate hearing stuff like that. Yeah, you
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: know it's happening. It's real. But well, now, okay, I
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: don't know the particulars, but let's be very careful here
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: because the group that's claiming this, yeah, that's not necessarily
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: from Kenya. The country of Kenya. I think, I think
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: we have to be careful not to just lump the
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: whole country of Kenya now because this militant group that
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: went over there and committed this atrocity against these American soldiers,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: which has to be dealt with. Now, that has to
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: be dealt with. But I don't want everybody to go off, oh,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Kenya tripping with America, because Kenya is not. Yeah, all right,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some trending
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: news coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show, all right, So we
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: know our girl Carla is going through this at the house, Carla.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: But Julia is here to help you out. He's got
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: the dudes and don'ts when your booze team lost the
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: playoff game. These are the dudes, And don't for all
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: the boots that you don't tell your man right now,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: like number one, don't use the phrase it's just a game.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Don't tell him that right now, say that all the time.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: You can't send his man that right now. You're not
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: supposed to say that. No, the loss is still fresh.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Here's another phrase you can't use. It's always next year. No,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: this was this year. Don't say that this loss is
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: still fresh. This just toos. It just happens. So yeah,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: open here another. If they mad at the referee, your
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: ass mad at the referee, you've gotta go. What the
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: file is on the plane, just say something all that
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: touching they're doing, just say that. You ain't got to
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: know the car You just mad the referee because he
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: made when he comes. That's if he losing game. It's
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: never a good idea to say, well, let's just go
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: to a sports one and get something to eat. Now,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: now we just watch this. We lost. We don't want
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: to be in the sports ball he's a dude's and
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: dots when your boot lost his game. If you're rooting
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: for the other team, please please don't wear the rival
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: colors around me were playing another team. Don't you come
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: in here with no purple long? Okay, do that right
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: after they lose. Here's another. Don't don't try to strike
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: up no clever conversation. Just sit there and enjoy the
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: silence little the rest of you. Yes, don't still here
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: trying to ask what I want to do now. I
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: don't want to do nothing. Man, it's not a good
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: idea to suggest. How about we throw your team lost
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: party and you can invite your friends. They don't make
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you feel better. Don't don't fight. No, we are to
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: have a lost party. And here's the last one color.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Don't do this if you don't know anything about sports.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Don't ask dumb questions like what was that the Super Bowl?
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Or did your team win? Or I think we should
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: be two out of three? Ain't no two out of three?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: And play off football? One damn game? Hey, I love it.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Here's two things you can't say. Next week, the Vikings
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: is gonna be playing. Don't bet on the Viking. And
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: then the last thing you can't say to a Saints fan,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: is it didn't look like passing the fens to me? Bett,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: say that that was passed in a fish. Anybody down,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: don't what they say? Who that was passing the fens? Body?
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: All right? Coming up, we'll do our last break of
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: the day and we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Wow, this is a good Tuesday back
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: at work. Yesday, second day and the brand new year. Um,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: don't forget you know, it's census here. You got to
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: fill out those census forms. It's very important. All please
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: fill out your senses. You have no idea that listen,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: you have to fill out the census. This is very important.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: This is a huge way that they suppress votes. That's
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: why it's very important that you get out. This is
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: a huge way they use the census to suppress votes
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: because when they don't count to people, they can expand
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: their zoning. And when they expand their zoning, they control votes,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: voting power, rights, all types of stuff. It's really it's
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: really intricate. I can't hardly explain it to you the
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: way I want to, but you have to fill out
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: the census. If they don't think you exist, why would
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you get funding. Right, That's that's a lot of communities
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: who need it most don't get it because they say, well, look,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: there's only forty thousand of people here, so here's funding
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: for forty thousand. Well it's two hundred and sixty two thousand,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: and so it just continues. Man. But that voter suppression.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: If you listen to that guy who's a Trump supporter
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: a little while ago and said, the number one thing
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: that Republicans have tried to do is suppressed the vote.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Now they have a new way of doing it. And
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: he was trying to say it as a joke, but
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: they're very serious that that's what they've done over the years.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: It's not going to change, y'all. This is very serious, man.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: So we got the Sensus farm these assises people. Yeah,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: you gotta stand up and be counted. See if yourself right? Absolutely,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: all right, let's do some closing remarks because I want
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to sue at the beginning of the year, I want
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: to tell people and remind people of how very important
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: it is to have an attitude adjustment early on. You know,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: we've all been given a brand new opportunity. We've been
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: given three hundred and sixty five new days, which is
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five new chances. When God woke
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: you up on January one, and you are still here,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: it is because God gave you a brand new year,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: a brand new decade, and he said, here's a brand
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: new three sixty five with a brand new opportunity at
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days to wake up and
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: go about the business of progressing your life, your future,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: and your dreams. Ain't that an amazing gift? That's someone
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: but could be so wonderful to allow us an opportunity
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: that we don't have control over. You do not have
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: control over the breaths you take. You're waking up is
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: not a guarantee. It is a blessing. You're waking up
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: is not a given. It is favor. It is grace
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: that we are still here. All of us knows someone
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: who isn't here anymore, well we are, and in that
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: that's the blessing. So when God gave us twenty twenty
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: and he allowed us to wake up, he gave us
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five new days with three hundred
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: and sixty five new chairs. So here's the attitude adjustment
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: that we all have to keep in mind as we
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: approach twenty twenty. The major thing that you can do
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: is to live your life with the expectation, the expectation
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: that it is going to be the best year of
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: your life, and that if you start with that, you
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: began the process. Expectation is a little bit stronger than anticipation.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Anticipation is you're waiting on something to happen in the
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: hopes of whatever it happens here it comes well. Expectation
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: is knowing that it's the process of happening and I'm
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: watchful for it right now it's going to happen. See,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Hoping for something and faith in in something, it's two
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: different words. Now that's a new word for me. I
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: like that word dope. Hoping and faith in is two
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: different things. Hoping is nothing wrong with hope. Hope. Faith
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: is the substance of things hope for that's what faith is.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Faith starts off with minimal hope. Faith is a substance
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: of things hope for See, the very basis of faith
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: is you hope. You remember when you're a little boy,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: you hoped you gotta bite for Christmas. Remember when you
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: hoped you graduate, Remember when you hoped you get a job. Well,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: as you get older, that turns into faith. I know
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna graduate. I know God gonna bless me with
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: this job. I know I'm gonna find the person of
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: my dream. I know I'm gonna be a better father,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: better husband. I know. It comes turns into faith. It
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: starts with hoping. Hoping and faith in is a huge
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: difference though. Hoping it's fine if you a little child,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: I hope this happening, I hope. But once you grow up,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: faith in, man, faith in the expectation that is going
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: to happen has to be the mental has to be
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: the mental clique that you make this year, y'all. Expectation
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: expecting great things to happen to you is the way
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: you start the process of great things to happen. Those
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: are my closing remarks. Y'all have a great day. I
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: love you, hey, listen man, have a great weekend. Okay,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: m yeah, I started to take it out, but I
