- 2:06Speaker 2: the voice, Come on dig me now.
- 2:10Speaker 7: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio showy man.
- 2:15Speaker 7: God is in the blessing business all day every day.
- 2:18Speaker 7: God got hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes
- 2:22Speaker 7: out every day. All I want to do is be
- 2:27Speaker 7: the recipient that I'm the recipient of what He has
- 2:31Speaker 7: for me. That's all I want. I just want God's favor,
- 2:37Speaker 7: and I go. I want God's blessings. You know, of
- 2:41Speaker 7: course I need his mercy and his grace, but I
- 2:44Speaker 7: just want his blessings and his favor.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I want.
- 2:50Speaker 7: I want that in my life because it does things
- 2:52Speaker 7: for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
- 2:57Speaker 7: And I've been a recipient of many of those and
- 3:00Speaker 7: you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 3:05Speaker 7: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 3:09Speaker 7: a blessing. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 3:13Speaker 7: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
- 3:17Speaker 7: me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
- 3:19Speaker 7: because this is the part that message people up a
- 3:21Speaker 7: great deal. What happens when you get off track?
- 3:25Speaker 2: What is that? What does that mean? When you get
- 3:29Speaker 2: off track? See? I've been off track.
- 3:34Speaker 7: I can't tell you how many times, and it happens
- 3:37Speaker 7: in so many aspects of your life. But what is
- 3:40Speaker 7: it that makes getting off track so debilitating to some people?
- 3:45Speaker 7: You know, there are some people who want stay off track.
- 3:48Speaker 7: They of course, they off the dream, They on to
- 3:52Speaker 7: something else. And you cannot allow the fact that you've
- 3:56Speaker 7: gotten off track to stop you.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Can. I tell you something. Everybody gets off track.
- 4:05Speaker 7: There are people who are living their life's dreams in
- 4:11Speaker 7: spite of getting off track. See what happens when you
- 4:14Speaker 7: get off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The
- 4:18Speaker 7: simple thing is just to get back on track. Now
- 4:21Speaker 7: that's that's but that's easier said than done. Ain't it, Steve. Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 7: Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
- 4:28Speaker 7: of the things that happen. See you get the here
- 4:32Speaker 7: come to nay says, some of them from the outside,
- 4:35Speaker 7: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:39Speaker 7: get off track. See, I told you, I told you.
- 4:45Speaker 2: You know. You start hearing that it's.
- 4:48Speaker 7: Not for you.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Okay, this is all just because you got off track.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It's not for you. Okay, here's another one. It ain't
- 5:00Speaker 2: to be. You can hear it all. You could say it. Well,
- 5:04Speaker 2: I guess it's just not meant to be.
- 5:08Speaker 7: But let me ask you a question, though, Who made
- 5:11Speaker 7: the rule that when you get off track you can't
- 5:15Speaker 7: get back on? Who made that rule? Where is that
- 5:20Speaker 7: written that once you get off track you can't get
- 5:23Speaker 7: back on? See, because I'm gonna tell you something, folks,
- 5:27Speaker 7: there's no such rule. As a matter of fact, it's
- 5:31Speaker 7: quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit of a dream,
- 5:38Speaker 7: a goal, an aspiration, or mission is going to get
- 5:43Speaker 7: off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed. There are
- 5:47Speaker 7: going to be days where you're not going to get
- 5:49Speaker 7: it right. There are going to be days where you
- 5:51Speaker 7: feel like giving up there's going to be days when
- 5:54Speaker 7: you're just gonna flat out get it wrong.
- 5:57Speaker 2: That's the journey. But let me tell you something.
- 6:00Speaker 7: Every successful person that I know, ever met, talked to,
- 6:03Speaker 7: set out, and chopped it up with, have shared one
- 6:06Speaker 7: thing in common. We all get off track. We all
- 6:11Speaker 7: get it wrong along the way. I don't care who
- 6:14Speaker 7: the person is. The president got it wrong along the way.
- 6:18Speaker 7: Your pastor got it wrong along the way. Quiet director
- 6:23Speaker 7: guy got it wrong along the way. The principle at
- 6:26Speaker 7: your school got it wrong along the way. The valve
- 6:29Speaker 7: of victorian of your class got it wrong along the way.
- 6:34Speaker 7: The star of the team got it wrong along the way.
- 6:39Speaker 7: They've all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
- 6:44Speaker 7: he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
- 6:48Speaker 7: got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
- 6:53Speaker 7: has any measure of success in every level that you
- 6:57Speaker 7: call success, however you want to label, it's gotten off track.
- 7:02Speaker 7: As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen to me,
- 7:07Speaker 7: it is impossible not to get off track in pursuit
- 7:14Speaker 7: of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible. Don't
- 7:20Speaker 7: you let nobody tell you that they got through life
- 7:23Speaker 7: unscathed that they made it because they were just so determined,
- 7:27Speaker 7: and I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah, you
- 7:30Speaker 7: might not have let nothing turn you back because you
- 7:33Speaker 7: hear Oh, but you thought about it. Oh, you thought
- 7:37Speaker 7: about it on days when you was off track. But see,
- 7:40Speaker 7: people don't like to tell the whole story. They just
- 7:42Speaker 7: want you to think as much as you can about them.
- 7:45Speaker 7: So when they tell you their story, they leave out
- 7:49Speaker 7: the stuff along the way. It was just hard work
- 7:52Speaker 7: and determination that got me here.
- 7:53Speaker 2: No it wasn't, No, it wasn't.
- 7:56Speaker 7: It was the fact that you got off track and
- 7:58Speaker 7: the grace and mercy God allowed you to get back on.
- 8:02Speaker 7: His forgiveness allowed you to get back on because you
- 8:05Speaker 7: would not believe what some of the people have done.
- 8:09Speaker 7: So when you get off track, don't allow the naysayers
- 8:12Speaker 7: outside and the big naysayer inside, because let me tell
- 8:16Speaker 7: you something, the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 8:21Speaker 7: it don't matter what other people say out there. It
- 8:24Speaker 7: takes some time for you to learn this. And I
- 8:26Speaker 7: understand because it took me some time to learn it.
- 8:28Speaker 2: See. I have a lot of naysayers out there, but
- 8:32Speaker 2: I ain't operating for them.
- 8:34Speaker 7: Operating function for the ones that love me, for the
- 8:37Speaker 7: ones that get me, for the ones that understand what
- 8:40Speaker 7: I'm really trying to do. And so don't you be
- 8:44Speaker 7: the one that doesn't allow yourself to get back on
- 8:49Speaker 7: track when you get off track, Because, like I said,
- 8:52Speaker 7: who made the rule up that you can't get back
- 8:54Speaker 7: on track? There's no such rule out there. Stop yourself
- 9:01Speaker 7: from getting it right. So what you started to die
- 9:05Speaker 7: at the beginning of the year, and you already off
- 9:08Speaker 7: start another one, start over, try it again, don't ever
- 9:14Speaker 7: stop trying. If you stop trying, you can't make it.
- 9:17Speaker 7: But if you never give up the effort, if you
- 9:20Speaker 7: never give up and say it's over, it ain't over.
- 9:23Speaker 7: You heard the saying it ain't over, to the fat
- 9:25Speaker 7: lady saying I never invite her.
- 9:29Speaker 2: She's not invited. It ain't over.
- 9:33Speaker 7: To the fat lady saying I don't know where the
- 9:35Speaker 7: fat lady stay. I have not send her an invitation
- 9:38Speaker 7: to none of my events. She's not welcome here. She
- 9:43Speaker 7: didn't ask me a couple of times, how come I
- 9:45Speaker 7: never get invited? Because you're gonna start saying it and
- 9:49Speaker 7: I ain't got time for that. All right, stop inviting
- 9:53Speaker 7: the Fat Lady to all your events.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Thank you you're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Show.
- 10:01Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen. Today is today that the Lord has made.
- 10:05Speaker 7: Let us rejoice and be glad in it. It's a
- 10:08Speaker 7: crazy world we live in, but still all in all,
- 10:12Speaker 7: in spite of everything, I wake up today with the
- 10:15Speaker 7: same gratitude, a little heavy heart, but the same gratitude
- 10:19Speaker 7: that I always have. I'm grateful that God is still
- 10:23Speaker 7: in the hearing business, the blessing business, the redeeming business.
- 10:27Speaker 2: And the forgiving business.
- 10:29Speaker 7: I'm asking Him to forgive me for anything that I
- 10:32Speaker 7: might say today that's not Christian life. I will not
- 10:36Speaker 7: be focusing on my Christian side today much at all, anyway,
- 10:40Speaker 7: and so I ask Him to forgive me for my
- 10:42Speaker 7: flaw because today I don't feel like I'm off the
- 10:47Speaker 7: line today. And I do that from time to time
- 10:50Speaker 7: because I am an imperfect soldier for Christ. So today
- 10:54Speaker 7: I might not be on the white line like I'm
- 10:56Speaker 7: opposed to as a Christian, but that's just fine with me.
- 11:01Speaker 7: I get back on it when I feel better. Ladies
- 11:03Speaker 7: and gentlemen, this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Started
- 11:08Speaker 7: Shirley Strathberry Calor farre Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the Legend
- 11:12Speaker 7: of Nephew Tunney. Ladies and gentlemen, let us begin with
- 11:16Speaker 7: some moment of levity.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Junior. I'm scared to ask you what's on your mind
- 11:23Speaker 2: because you don't even look.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Good on zoom.
- 11:26Speaker 2: See you right there and got your alls folded.
- 11:31Speaker 8: You know what it is because because as a comedian,
- 11:35Speaker 8: see this is this is this is where it get hard,
- 11:37Speaker 8: how the job goes. Say, as a comedian, we're supposed
- 11:41Speaker 8: to show this the society what it is, what's funny
- 11:45Speaker 8: about what we do in life, and you just don't
- 11:48Speaker 8: feel like.
- 11:48Speaker 4: That every day.
- 11:49Speaker 2: See how today is like the other day.
- 11:51Speaker 8: Don't just don't feel like we're supposed to be because
- 11:55Speaker 8: you're killing people look like you and see I'm supposed
- 11:58Speaker 8: to sit up here and stay on stage and talk
- 12:00Speaker 8: about what's wrong and make you laugh about that. Ain't
- 12:02Speaker 8: how I feel on the jobs. I don't feel that way,
- 12:05Speaker 8: and so you cease to fire.
- 12:06Speaker 4: How you do it?
- 12:08Speaker 2: How you find out how to make these moments levity? Well,
- 12:13Speaker 2: in the beginning, there are a lot of moments.
- 12:15Speaker 7: That just don't have levity to it because we are
- 12:18Speaker 7: affected by this world and these conditions in these situations, just.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Like everybody else, our job is to provide.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Moments of levity in dark times's as a diversion. So today,
- 12:32Speaker 7: you know, we'll try to do some of that. Today
- 12:34Speaker 7: we'll try to throw a little diversion. But at the
- 12:36Speaker 7: same time, we got to grapple with how we feel
- 12:39Speaker 7: and some days, you know, the community.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Here's a part about it. Is we that are stand
- 12:45Speaker 2: ups usually is for an hour on this radio show.
- 12:50Speaker 2: We got four hours to produce, so highlight moments are
- 12:53Speaker 2: laughing the rest of the day.
- 12:56Speaker 7: The three of us that are in this business happen
- 12:58Speaker 7: to be African American, which I prefer to be called black,
- 13:02Speaker 7: though I'm a black man.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I like that much better.
- 13:05Speaker 7: I prefer that because they just keep the American part
- 13:10Speaker 7: so hidden sometimes and so unavailable to me. And you know,
- 13:15Speaker 7: I love to be African American. Just put me in
- 13:18Speaker 7: the Constitution, the whole thing. I don't want to be
- 13:21Speaker 7: in pieces of it, just the whole thing. So today
- 13:24Speaker 7: we'll carry on and I might say something crazy.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I might not.
- 13:30Speaker 1: You might you think you try to show all right?
- 13:36Speaker 9: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, Nephew
- 13:39Speaker 9: Tommy is going to run that prank back for us
- 13:41Speaker 9: right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening morning show, all right, it is time to
- 13:47Speaker 1: start your morning off with the nephew and run that.
- 13:49Speaker 9: Prank back what you got for us new here it
- 13:52Speaker 9: is check suttlem and let's go cat dog if you would.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 13:56Speaker 3: Hello, right, I'm trying to reach out please, how you doing?
- 14:01Speaker 3: It's attorney over the associates. All right, I want to
- 14:05Speaker 3: give you a call. I just got your file that
- 14:07Speaker 3: hit my desk, and we got a check going after
- 14:10Speaker 3: you on Monday. You came in yesterday, correct, Yes, Okay, listen,
- 14:13Speaker 3: we got a few low glitches here. We want to
- 14:17Speaker 3: go over with I want to go over with you
- 14:18Speaker 3: and make sure we get this all ironed out before
- 14:21Speaker 3: you come in on Monday, and I'll have a check
- 14:23Speaker 3: definitely waiting on you when you get here.
- 14:25Speaker 2: All right.
- 14:25Speaker 3: You're supposed to be getting six four hundred and ten dollars, okay,
- 14:30Speaker 3: Unfortunately is being reduced to twelve hundred due to injuries
- 14:35Speaker 3: not being as as bad as they say. It was,
- 14:37Speaker 3: a lot of calculations got really mixed up on our
- 14:40Speaker 3: paperwork here. And please keep in mind that on the
- 14:41Speaker 3: twelve hundred. We still haven't taken out I fee, which
- 14:44Speaker 3: is like about thirty three and a third. We'll have
- 14:46Speaker 3: a check for you on Monday in the ballpark of
- 14:48Speaker 3: four to five hundred dollars.
- 14:50Speaker 10: Oh okay, I'm still getting it. So what was the
- 14:55Speaker 10: total monk that y'all got from the loss, from the
- 14:58Speaker 10: from the insured.
- 14:59Speaker 3: The everyday The person that did these calculations completely did
- 15:02Speaker 3: them wrong. I do apologize for this being a mishap
- 15:06Speaker 3: on our part and it's totally screwed up, and I
- 15:08Speaker 3: do apologize on the behalf of the of the association
- 15:12Speaker 3: here that we've dropped the ball on that. But your
- 15:15Speaker 3: actual check has been reduced to twelve hundred dollars okay,
- 15:19Speaker 3: and that's without us taking the lawt fees out of it.
- 15:21Speaker 10: So I just real right, because I was six thousand
- 15:26Speaker 10: dollars cover the doctor bill.
- 15:28Speaker 11: And the chi practice.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Well, from my understanding, man, what they're also stating is
- 15:32Speaker 3: that your injuries are not that bad, and I don't
- 15:34Speaker 3: want to be the bear of bad news.
- 15:36Speaker 2: They're actually wondering if you were actually hurt at all.
- 15:39Speaker 11: So I even had to get injections okay from the
- 15:43Speaker 11: con practice okay, and do you have any I have
- 15:46Speaker 11: some medical documents here, and I understand that you've been
- 15:49Speaker 11: going and you probably looks like you went over at
- 15:51Speaker 11: least at least two months going to the doctor and
- 15:54Speaker 11: getting and getting therapy.
- 15:55Speaker 12: And I was his call.
- 15:58Speaker 10: That was a chipractice car.
- 15:59Speaker 11: That wasn't my decisions.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Okay, Well, a lot.
- 16:02Speaker 10: It's called from my injury.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Exactly, and a lot of a lot of these doctor
- 16:06Speaker 3: fees and that you've gone to eat eating up a
- 16:09Speaker 3: lot of these funds. And I'll tell you these doctor
- 16:11Speaker 3: bills they get pretty high out there. I do want
- 16:13Speaker 3: to apologize what we're gonna do here, since we've dropped
- 16:16Speaker 3: the ball on this. We're gonna give you the check
- 16:18Speaker 3: for twelve hundred and not even take the low fees
- 16:21Speaker 3: out of it. And I'll have that check waiting on
- 16:22Speaker 3: you on Monday morning.
- 16:24Speaker 10: That's still okay. I understand what you're saying. But I'm
- 16:27Speaker 10: trying to figure out is from the I need to
- 16:31Speaker 10: see some paperwork of saying stating what was the total
- 16:35Speaker 10: mount check that was written from the insurance company, plus
- 16:39Speaker 10: what was the portion that was supposed to be taken
- 16:41Speaker 10: out for the chiropric the plus it was a p
- 16:43Speaker 10: that was supposed to be taken out from a doctor's itself.
- 16:46Speaker 10: That you're telling me six thousand that's not gonna wouldn't
- 16:49Speaker 10: have covered that and leave me with only twelve hundred.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Okay, I'm not at liberty to let you look at
- 16:53Speaker 3: this paperwork anymore. I'm calling you basically to let you
- 16:57Speaker 3: know I have twelve hundred dollars check for you. If
- 16:59Speaker 3: you don't want that, then you can go ahead and
- 17:02Speaker 3: take some.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Other legal life.
- 17:03Speaker 10: I mean that is a sound of right, Robert. I
- 17:06Speaker 10: mean from the entire month, because I got the paperwork
- 17:09Speaker 10: from the contract to stating what Martin said.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I understand that, ma'am. What I'm trying to let you
- 17:14Speaker 3: know any issues there there. What's going on right now
- 17:17Speaker 3: is the response coming back is that you're not actually
- 17:20Speaker 3: hurt at all. That's what they're saying. They're saying you're
- 17:23Speaker 3: not hate at all. Actually, I don't want to use
- 17:25Speaker 3: the words, but they're saying that you've been faking this
- 17:27Speaker 3: the whole time.
- 17:28Speaker 10: I need to see some paperwork with far to check it.
- 17:31Speaker 10: This doesn't sound right and that doesn't make any sense.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Well, all right, now, you know I'm the last person
- 17:36Speaker 3: that that this file is gonna come across it's coming
- 17:38Speaker 3: across my desk.
- 17:39Speaker 2: This is pretty much a take it or leave it option,
- 17:41Speaker 2: you know.
- 17:42Speaker 10: And if you don't no, no, no, no no, I
- 17:45Speaker 10: mean you get at to me because you are my
- 17:47Speaker 10: lord and I am your client.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Well, you're not gonna raise your voice. You're not gonna
- 17:51Speaker 3: raise your voice, said me. That's not gonna happen either.
- 17:54Speaker 3: So let's let's pipe it down a bit. Okay, Now
- 17:57Speaker 3: here's what we're gonna do. Do you want the twelve
- 17:59Speaker 3: hundred dollar check or do you not want it?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Now? I've already wavered the fees of the of the
- 18:04Speaker 2: attorneys here. Do you want the twelve hundred or do
- 18:07Speaker 2: you want me to reduce it to four hundred?
- 18:08Speaker 6: No, I don't want twelve.
- 18:09Speaker 10: Undred because i'mnna take you to court, So that doesn't time.
- 18:12Speaker 10: If you're supposed to be my lawyer.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I'm being the best attorney that you probably could afford,
- 18:17Speaker 3: young lady, okay, and I'm trying to do the best
- 18:20Speaker 3: I can to help you.
- 18:20Speaker 10: Now you, from what I understand is yes, I'm sorry
- 18:24Speaker 10: to say that's not going to be acceptable. I just
- 18:26Speaker 10: have to get a lawyer to you. That's not accessible.
- 18:29Speaker 2: You know, you know you people continue to want it take.
- 18:32Speaker 10: Me to offer yesterday when we came in, I didn't.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I wasn't there doing the meeting yesterday. Like I said,
- 18:39Speaker 3: these papers just landed on my desk today. What I'm
- 18:41Speaker 3: not going to tolerate is you people consistently wanting to
- 18:45Speaker 3: file a lawsuit on somebody.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Now you want to file a lawsuit on me. You
- 18:49Speaker 2: know you're going way too far with this.
- 18:52Speaker 10: This isn't I want to talk to you.
- 18:54Speaker 11: I've never heard of you.

- 19:09Speaker 10: not accessible.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I got one more thing. This is nephew Tommy from
- 19:12Speaker 3: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked. You
- 19:15Speaker 3: got pranked by your husband. Oh, your husband told me
- 19:25Speaker 3: she's been waiting on that check.
- 19:26Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 10: I was about to go buy a little office.
- 19:34Speaker 3: All right, baby, let me ask you something. Tell Tommy,
- 19:36Speaker 3: what is the baddest radio show in the land.
- 19:40Speaker 13: Steve?
- 19:41Speaker 3: All right, baby, look here, get your check. I'm not
- 19:48Speaker 3: gonna brag today. I don't feel like it. Don't have
- 19:51Speaker 3: it in my heart or in the spirit.
- 19:53Speaker 2: What that is? That's the prank of the day. You
- 19:55Speaker 2: can catch me keeping a stupid baby.
- 19:58Speaker 3: It's going down Saturday that the in Detroit, Michigan, the
- 20:02Speaker 3: Fox Theater.

- 20:06Speaker 3: I got the girl Kelly Cal's Tony Roberts OMG hosted
- 20:10Speaker 3: by Yours Truly, And I got d Ray Davis. And
- 20:13Speaker 3: the jams is juvenile. The jams belongs to juvenile. That
- 20:18Speaker 3: is jokes in Jam the Detroit, Michigan, Saturday night, May
- 20:21Speaker 3: twenty seven, at the Fox Theater.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Take his own seal Red Now.
- 20:26Speaker 1: All right, go see the nephew.
- 20:28Speaker 9: Coming up next, it is Ask the COLO Chief Love
- 20:32Speaker 9: Officer Steve Harvey.
- 20:33Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:36Speaker 9: All right, guys, time now for Ask the CLO Chief
- 20:40Speaker 9: Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building. Let's go because
- 20:43Speaker 9: I know he's ready. Now, Steve, this one is from
- 20:45Speaker 9: a grandmother. She's in Arlington, Texas. She says, this is
- 20:49Speaker 9: not a love question, but I need your help with
- 20:52Speaker 9: my granddaughter. She is thirteen years old and keeps getting
- 20:56Speaker 9: in trouble in school for cursing and keeping it. She
- 21:00Speaker 9: told her classmate where to go and how to get there,
- 21:03Speaker 9: and she almost got suspended. She has no filter. Whatever
- 21:07Speaker 9: comes up comes out. Her mother and I don't curse,
- 21:11Speaker 9: but she is very good at it. I draw the line.
- 21:14Speaker 9: I drew the line Sunday when she called our pastor
- 21:17Speaker 9: a snitch after he called her cursing and told me
- 21:20Speaker 9: about it.
- 21:20Speaker 1: What am I going to do with her?
- 21:23Speaker 7: Well, truth of the matter is, now, let's be fair
- 21:26Speaker 7: your past he's a snitch.
- 21:30Speaker 2: That's what they call him.
- 21:32Speaker 13: Now.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Hey man, oh, your granddaughter has taken old prison terminology
- 21:36Speaker 7: and turned it in to her life.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I can't help you.
- 21:42Speaker 7: I'm the last person you should call about cussing. I'll
- 21:44Speaker 7: know what tied thirteen though, Yeah, God started cussing he
- 21:49Speaker 7: was thirteen.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah, thirteen.
- 21:51Speaker 7: I was expert. I didn't have the right combinations because
- 21:55Speaker 7: I didn't know. I just put them together and they
- 21:57Speaker 7: was jumbled. Naw, naw.
- 22:02Speaker 2: The combinations is.
- 22:05Speaker 1: So creative.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Yeah, you can say you don't cuss, grandma, and I
- 22:10Speaker 7: understand that. And you're her mother, may not, but she
- 22:13Speaker 7: done picked it up somewhere, and it's an ugly habit.
- 22:16Speaker 7: It's not a cute habit on a girl. Oh boy,
- 22:19Speaker 7: to tell you the truth, because if you can't monitor
- 22:22Speaker 7: it and harness it, it can lead to a lot
- 22:25Speaker 7: of problems down the road. You have to sit it
- 22:30Speaker 7: down and explain to her about what it is to
- 22:32Speaker 7: be a lady. I don't know if that's gonna do
- 22:35Speaker 7: any good, but that's all I got for you. Because
- 22:40Speaker 7: I think all my kids cussed. I think every last
- 22:42Speaker 7: one of them. I don't say a damn thing when
- 22:44Speaker 7: I hear it because I get it.
- 22:46Speaker 1: There you go, and there you go.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I ain't the best.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Let's move on.
- 22:52Speaker 9: This one's from Derek and Largo, Maryland. Derek says, I'm
- 22:56Speaker 9: a married man and I own a small junk removal business.
- 23:00Speaker 9: My wife is the bookkeeper and comes in twice a week,
- 23:03Speaker 9: once a week to do payroll. I have a young
- 23:05Speaker 9: new driver that's fresh out of jail for selling weed.
- 23:09Speaker 9: I hired him on the spot, hoping to give him
- 23:11Speaker 9: a chance to earn honest money. Friday, I returned from
- 23:15Speaker 9: the barbershop and a new guy and my wife are
- 23:17Speaker 9: sitting in her car smoking weed.
- 23:20Speaker 1: My wife can't understand why. I'm very upset. She asked
- 23:23Speaker 1: me not to fire this guy. I want to fire
- 23:25Speaker 1: her too. Am I overreacting?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Well, they're gonna do it.
- 23:30Speaker 7: I think the problem ain't her sitting in the car, Yeah,
- 23:34Speaker 7: by it. The problem is what she's doing in the
- 23:37Speaker 7: car with the dude smoking weed. You know how they
- 23:40Speaker 7: done got that comfortable and she's supposed to be running
- 23:42Speaker 7: the company. That's stupid business practice. My bigger problem with now,
- 23:47Speaker 7: I'm fine, Why you and this man's car smoking weed?
- 23:52Speaker 2: Yeah? Is my question?
- 23:54Speaker 1: Not a good look?
- 23:55Speaker 2: Wifey? Yeah, so.
- 24:00Speaker 1: You're not overreacting.
- 24:02Speaker 2: You underreaction if he asks me? Right, all right?
- 24:06Speaker 9: Kelly in South Bend, Indiana says, I'm a thirty one
- 24:09Speaker 9: year old woman dating a twenty eight year old man.
- 24:11Speaker 9: We met at a hookah lounge and bonded over our
- 24:14Speaker 9: love for spoken word in jazz. He's a songwriter during
- 24:17Speaker 9: the day, and at night he's in the studio working
- 24:20Speaker 9: on a rap album.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I know he's a great writer, but I'm not sure
- 24:24Speaker 1: if rapping is his thing.
- 24:26Speaker 9: His lyrics are very inspirational, so I don't know who
- 24:31Speaker 9: he's making this music. For should I tell him nicely
- 24:33Speaker 9: that his music isn't all that well, I.
- 24:37Speaker 7: Don't know if you should tell him if his music's
- 24:39Speaker 7: all that it's just do you want to sign up
- 24:41Speaker 7: for this relationship with this dude is fit to be
- 24:44Speaker 7: broke for all time?
- 24:46Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 24:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:47Speaker 2: He a songwriter in the day. Now you don't know
- 24:51Speaker 2: none of his songs. He a rapper at night, and
- 24:54Speaker 2: you don't like none of the raps.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Tradicts herself because very inspirational.
- 25:03Speaker 7: Hey you had the inspirational when the last good ass
- 25:06Speaker 7: inspirational rap?
- 25:07Speaker 2: You don her exactly because.
- 25:08Speaker 7: All the hits I heard on the radio ain't a
- 25:11Speaker 7: damn now one of them inspirational.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Come on, damn ksom cup.
- 25:24Speaker 7: This inspirational to the strip was ded okay, But I
- 25:28Speaker 7: don't know how you make no money.
- 25:30Speaker 1: With you know, a commons and ain't a lot of them.
- 25:40Speaker 9: This is from a podcast listener named Tuesday. Tuesday says,
- 25:44Speaker 9: I'm in my mid thirties and I've been in a
- 25:46Speaker 9: polyamorous relationship for four years.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Now what that means you know more than one lover
- 25:52Speaker 1: the man?
- 25:53Speaker 9: And then yeah, all right, my boyfriend and I have
- 25:55Speaker 9: a three year old son and my mother took him
- 25:57Speaker 9: away from us.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I dropped him off in her house we ago so
- 26:00Speaker 1: that I could run errands, and.
- 26:02Speaker 9: She wouldn't let me in when I came back a
- 26:04Speaker 9: week later, and she's still not letting me take my son.
- 26:08Speaker 9: My boyfriend is ready to call the police, but I
- 26:11Speaker 9: won't let him. Our bedroom behavior does not impact my
- 26:14Speaker 9: son in any way. How can I get my mom
- 26:17Speaker 9: to understand this?
- 26:20Speaker 2: Your mama can't take your baby. This ain't your cock keys.
- 26:27Speaker 2: This is a child.
- 26:28Speaker 7: You can't take nobody baby from him because you don't
- 26:31Speaker 7: like their lifestyle.
- 26:33Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 26:36Speaker 7: You don't like this polyamals or polygamy or whatever you
- 26:40Speaker 7: have in at the house.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Meringue pow. I don't know what y'all doing, but whatever
- 26:46Speaker 2: it is, I don't ut living Moraine.
- 27:04Speaker 7: Yeah, but if you're having this thing at y'alls, how
- 27:07Speaker 7: they ain't got nothing to do with your baby. Man,
- 27:08Speaker 7: You can't take your baby from you. Your sex life
- 27:12Speaker 7: has nothing to do with your parenting skills. The two
- 27:16Speaker 7: are separate. You can be a lousy husband and be
- 27:19Speaker 7: a great father. Your boyfriend is right, and he could. Hey,
- 27:25Speaker 7: your boyfriend can call now, Yeah, that's his child. If
- 27:31Speaker 7: you don't want to call alone to mama.
- 27:34Speaker 1: All right, don't you're listening morning show?
- 27:41Speaker 9: Old school relationship advice means well most of the time,
- 27:45Speaker 9: but some of it is out of touch and should
- 27:48Speaker 9: become a thing of the past. Some of these rules
- 27:50Speaker 9: or tips need to be redefined and clarified for the
- 27:53Speaker 9: time we live in now. This is according to psychologist
- 27:57Speaker 9: doctor Joshua Clapal for example.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Clap Clapal.
- 28:04Speaker 9: For example, Steve the old cliche and this is biblical,
- 28:08Speaker 9: don't go to bed angry.
- 28:11Speaker 11: Uh.
- 28:11Speaker 9: Doctor Clapow says, we've heard this classic, but it's unrealistic,
- 28:15Speaker 9: and sometimes going to bed mad and sleeping on it
- 28:19Speaker 9: is better.
- 28:20Speaker 2: What do you say, do you well? I don't know
- 28:23Speaker 2: when you were with that.
- 28:24Speaker 7: I wish we could go to bed and not be mad.
- 28:26Speaker 7: I really do, right, I know nobody won't go to
- 28:29Speaker 7: bed mad. You know, when you got to sleep backs
- 28:33Speaker 7: to each other, somebody roll over and touching you, jumping
- 28:38Speaker 7: you don't foot off.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Nobody want to. I think it's better to do that. Now.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Is it realistic to expect not to ever go to
- 28:46Speaker 2: bed mad?
- 28:47Speaker 3: Now?
- 28:47Speaker 1: I don't think it is, That's what he's saying.
- 28:50Speaker 2: But that showing good to go to bed, man, we're
- 28:53Speaker 2: gonna be up on that.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Or you wake up mad, you let me tell you
- 28:57Speaker 1: something that you you know.
- 28:59Speaker 7: I hate that if you let a woman go to
- 29:01Speaker 7: bed mad, she wake up, she gonna be just as mad,
- 29:06Speaker 7: all mad her she'd have thought about some mostuff.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, dudes wake up and go, hey, baby, how
- 29:13Speaker 2: you doing? How the hell you think? How was I
- 29:16Speaker 2: last night? When you shut your eyes exactly?
- 29:19Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 29:19Speaker 2: So I think he's wrong about that. It's not healthy,
- 29:23Speaker 2: all right.
- 29:24Speaker 9: Doctor klap House says you can change them. He says
- 29:29Speaker 9: it's a romantic idea, the old cliche, you can change them.
- 29:33Speaker 9: But he points out it's not your responsibility to change anyone, right.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I agree with him. It's not your job to change anyone.
- 29:42Speaker 14: Nor.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Don't you know do you have the ability?
- 29:44Speaker 1: Right?
- 29:44Speaker 9: That's something that women have. I mean, we may as
- 29:47Speaker 9: well admit that. We're always trying to change. And I
- 29:50Speaker 9: think it's the nurturer in us. We always Yeah, yeah, I.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Know he's like that right now, But once he give
- 29:57Speaker 1: me six months, Yeah, yeah, let.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Me work on a girl. You're going have to work
- 30:04Speaker 2: it every day. Don't work every day. I changed, but
- 30:07Speaker 2: you do it everything.
- 30:08Speaker 9: Yeah, but women, I get more that, all right. Here's
- 30:11Speaker 9: another one. Some people never change. That's the cliche, the
- 30:16Speaker 9: old school cliche. Doctor Clepale says, on the flip side,
- 30:19Speaker 9: the suggestion that someone is incapable of changing is wrong,
- 30:24Speaker 9: and it ignores the fact that we all have control
- 30:27Speaker 9: over our choices.
- 30:29Speaker 7: So I absolutely agree with that. That's one hundred percent. Yeah,
- 30:33Speaker 7: he's only saying one thing I didn't.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Agree with, and that was the first one.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with that.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You don't go to bed.
- 30:38Speaker 2: We'll change.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Yeah, people change, man, all right all the time.
- 30:42Speaker 9: Here's another one, old school. Love will keep you together.
- 30:45Speaker 9: Love will keep you together.
- 30:48Speaker 1: He says.
- 30:49Speaker 9: This works in an old romantic movie, but in real
- 30:52Speaker 9: life it takes a lot more than love to make
- 30:56Speaker 9: it work.
- 30:58Speaker 1: WHOA what love.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Got to do? Yeah? I got to do watch love
- 31:08Speaker 2: but a second handy moved shut take it up, gotta do.
- 31:15Speaker 2: I ain't got nothing to do with it, man, love.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta honor that commitment that you got.
- 31:22Speaker 2: A compromise and love understanding.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Take the blame, not be right all the time.
- 31:32Speaker 4: That, Yeah, it.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Ain't never worked for me never.
- 31:38Speaker 8: All right here, No, it's that love thing. I told
- 31:41Speaker 8: her I love her, But my replacement was at the dump.
- 31:45Speaker 1: When I'm just like, who is this?
- 31:47Speaker 2: Oh this Chris, We're going to dinner you and I
- 31:49Speaker 2: love you though.
- 31:51Speaker 1: The love to the love through June.
- 31:54Speaker 2: You've been played so hard it scary.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it's almost like, what but you you've grown up now,
- 32:01Speaker 1: you're now you're good now. Yeah that was back. Yeah
- 32:04Speaker 1: I haven't. We've all been through some things. YEA to
- 32:08Speaker 1: the game.
- 32:10Speaker 9: All right, old school love will, I mean, know your
- 32:13Speaker 9: role in the relationship, that's old school. Doctor Clipow says,
- 32:17Speaker 9: forget this old gender stereotype and remember there is not
- 32:21Speaker 9: a required way for you to act. Your role in
- 32:25Speaker 9: a relationship shouldn't always be the same. It's constantly shifting.
- 32:35Speaker 9: Know your role in the relationship. That's old school thinking. Okay,
- 32:38Speaker 9: doctor clip how says, forget this old gender stereotype and
- 32:43Speaker 9: remember there is not a required way for you to act.
- 32:47Speaker 9: That's new school thinking. He says, your role in a
- 32:50Speaker 9: relationship isn't going to be the same all the time.
- 32:52Speaker 9: It's constantly changing. And that's a good thing, that's what
- 32:56Speaker 9: he's saying. He says, it'll shift organically. M that's a
- 33:02Speaker 9: good thing. Yeah, and that's a good thing.
- 33:05Speaker 1: You think your roles should stay the same in a relationship.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Well, I mean I think.
- 33:10Speaker 7: I think your roles have to be defined so that
- 33:14Speaker 7: everybody has an understanding of positioning. And then I think
- 33:19Speaker 7: there has to be some type of all give and
- 33:23Speaker 7: take where sometimes the other person can do that. I'm
- 33:27Speaker 7: not saying like roles like you do all the cleaning
- 33:29Speaker 7: and I'm not talking about that.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but if you're good with money, yeah, do that
- 33:35Speaker 1: many things. Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 15: I mean, you know, you either side, if you roll
- 33:39Speaker 15: playing in, your roles change Like you know, I might
- 33:42Speaker 15: be Batman one night, you know what I'm saying, but
- 33:45Speaker 15: then next night I might be incredible hook.
- 33:47Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. Your roles do change.
- 33:49Speaker 7: You have to know that organically, organically and realistically, you're
- 33:56Speaker 7: neither one.
- 34:00Speaker 1: All right, here's old school. You should stay with them
- 34:02Speaker 1: for better or for worse, won't, he says. He says.
- 34:08Speaker 9: We all want to think our partner will stick around
- 34:10Speaker 9: no matter what. But if a relationship is unhealthy, you don't.
- 34:14Speaker 9: You don't need to stick it out. Get all right,
- 34:21Speaker 9: we do have to get out.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show.
- 34:26Speaker 9: It is time now for would you rather let's play around,
- 34:30Speaker 9: let's get into it. Would you rather sing everything you speak?
- 34:35Speaker 9: Or would you rather dance every time you walk?
- 34:41Speaker 2: Else?
- 34:42Speaker 4: We know that's what you want.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I'm not shouldn't be that happy as black person dance and.
- 34:47Speaker 9: Every time you walk doing a little cheek So sing something, Steve,
- 34:54Speaker 9: ask me a question. Tell, okay, what time is our

- 35:06Speaker 7: quarter to three. I want you call the Tommy, I

- 36:13Speaker 16: Yeah, okay, perspective, I got you, Okay, coins yeah, okay,
- 36:22Speaker 16: all right.

- 36:30Speaker 3: Oh?
- 36:32Speaker 9: Would you rather be the commissioner of the NFL? Or
- 36:34Speaker 9: would you rather be the general manager of your favorite
- 36:37Speaker 9: NFL sports team?
- 36:39Speaker 2: General ain't doing nothing. I need to be out front
- 36:42Speaker 2: and be the commission.
- 36:43Speaker 7: Yeah, and the check wave that I'll tell you right now,
- 36:46Speaker 7: DeShawn Watson would be playing for the Browns right now,

- 37:23Speaker 9: That is today's roundup. Would you rather you're listening Hard
- 37:28Speaker 9: Morning show? Well, Stephen Tommy, you two are like the
- 37:34Speaker 9: grilling experts on the show, the barbecue experts on the show.
- 37:39Speaker 9: So Memorial Day is coming up, and I wanted to
- 37:42Speaker 9: know if you guys had any tips.
- 37:43Speaker 2: For us hips for grilling.
- 37:46Speaker 1: For grilling, let me go.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Let me go first, he's been putting on that. He
- 37:49Speaker 2: let me go first.
- 37:50Speaker 3: This is what bothers me about people grilling. Okay, quit
- 37:54Speaker 3: putting all.
- 37:55Speaker 2: That light of fluid on your charcoal or your drives
- 38:00Speaker 2: me crazy. Do you realize your meat smells just like
- 38:06Speaker 2: that light of fluid. It tastes like that. Yeah, come on, man,
- 38:11Speaker 2: get you some wood. They got some natural wood starters
- 38:14Speaker 2: that you can put in there and light those up.
- 38:17Speaker 3: And now your wood or your charcoal, whichever one you using,
- 38:21Speaker 3: doesn't taste like a smell like all this gas light
- 38:24Speaker 3: of fluid.
- 38:24Speaker 2: You don't put on that. That's one of my tips
- 38:26Speaker 2: right there. That's a pet peever.
- 38:27Speaker 14: Man eat.
- 38:28Speaker 7: So let me just piggyback off that and say to
- 38:33Speaker 7: start your five. They sell, they sell. What time he's
- 38:38Speaker 7: talking about is firestarters. Wood starters where the little white chunks.
- 38:43Speaker 7: They got matched sticks that burn naturally that you can
- 38:46Speaker 7: put on it. But they have these things that look
- 38:49Speaker 7: like coffee cans. They look like a big giant coffee mug.
- 38:54Speaker 7: You put your charcoal in it and light it from
- 38:57Speaker 7: the bottom right, and that can get your charcoal started
- 39:02Speaker 7: a little bit more even for you. You don't pour
- 39:05Speaker 7: the charcoal in the basin of your thing. You pour
- 39:08Speaker 7: the charcoal in this like big round pot and it
- 39:12Speaker 7: started like that. Yes, it's gotta handle on it. Then
- 39:14Speaker 7: you just pour it in there and they'll burn. Even
- 39:17Speaker 7: this is little stuff you can learn. I have another tip.
- 39:20Speaker 2: When it's my turn.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Okay, here's another people that people that are you know, amateurs,
- 39:26Speaker 3: are grilling.
- 39:26Speaker 2: They throw their chicken on and then you think, twenty
- 39:29Speaker 2: minutes later, your chicken is done. Your chicken ain't done.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Okay, long.
- 39:40Speaker 2: And it's a sport. Oh and why are you talking
- 39:44Speaker 2: while we talking about cooking.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Why us trying to stay awake? Why it takes so long.
- 39:51Speaker 7: We'll learn how to cook and bill awake. Hell, the
- 39:55Speaker 7: people come over your house and not leave so much.
- 39:57Speaker 3: If you can cook, you have ever bring something. So
- 40:02Speaker 3: listen while you're cooking your chicken. Keep flipping it and
- 40:05Speaker 3: don't be afraid. The slice a piece and see where. Yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 3: if you see a little light red water, you need
- 40:11Speaker 3: to cook a little longer. That means there's still some
- 40:13Speaker 3: blood in the keeping your chicken. Keep flipping it and
- 40:17Speaker 3: keep cooking. That's all I'm asking.
- 40:18Speaker 7: Look, man, grilling ain't no thing where you can leave
- 40:20Speaker 7: your meat for ten minutes and walk off somewhere.
- 40:23Speaker 2: That ain't what There's some people going in the house
- 40:26Speaker 2: for thirty minutes.
- 40:26Speaker 11: What did you do?
- 40:28Speaker 7: You can't do that when you grilling. Grilling is a sport.
- 40:31Speaker 7: It's an activity. You got to move that chicken to
- 40:35Speaker 7: the front, to the back. Go ahead, okay, okay, let's
- 40:39Speaker 7: go back real quick.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yeah, go ahead and have one jay Okay.
- 40:43Speaker 17: I know nothing about grilling. I think what you guys
- 40:46Speaker 17: are saying is great. If you add a barbecue, please
- 40:50Speaker 17: bring good ass plates.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:52Speaker 17: If the sign says cheap plates. If it says cheap plates,
- 40:58Speaker 17: damn it, don't bring them. Okay, it says plates, right there,
- 41:02Speaker 17: bring good ass plates.
- 41:04Speaker 3: All right, here's one quick. When I give it back
- 41:08Speaker 3: on the steak. When you when you he said your charcoals,
- 41:11Speaker 3: are you eving them out? You know when you get it,
- 41:13Speaker 3: when you get it going.
- 41:15Speaker 2: But some of us like to have a real hot
- 41:18Speaker 2: side and then a warm side while you cook it.
- 41:20Speaker 2: You understand.
- 41:21Speaker 3: So you may have more wood or more charcoals on
- 41:23Speaker 3: one side, and then on another side you got you
- 41:25Speaker 3: still got wooden charcoals, but it's not as heavy as
- 41:28Speaker 3: the other side.
- 41:28Speaker 2: That's just one of my tips.
- 41:30Speaker 7: Yeah, my tip is I have the back side of
- 41:33Speaker 7: my grill, I put no charcoal back there. On the backside,
- 41:39Speaker 7: I put none so you can move some meat off
- 41:43Speaker 7: that heat if it's cooking too fast. Cool, you gotta
- 41:47Speaker 7: have what time is talking about, a cool spot on
- 41:49Speaker 7: the grill.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I put no.
- 41:51Speaker 7: Charcoal on the back. On the back and forth of
- 41:54Speaker 7: the grill, I put no charcoal.
- 41:56Speaker 1: This was so exciting.
- 41:57Speaker 7: And you can set the money on. You can set
- 41:59Speaker 7: the meat on top of each piece if you have
- 42:02Speaker 7: to to keep it off your stack. And Shirley, don't
- 42:06Speaker 7: rush us with your learn picking lad. There's people who
- 42:10Speaker 7: care about this.
- 42:10Speaker 2: This is fast for a plate though.
- 42:15Speaker 7: Yes, nobody coming to your house eating not no damn
- 42:18Speaker 7: crock Poddle.
- 42:19Speaker 1: We gotta go. Coming up next to Nephew with today's
- 42:22Speaker 1: prank phone call.
- 42:24Speaker 9: Right after this, you're listening Hardy Morning Show coming up
- 42:30Speaker 9: at the top of the hour, about four minutes after
- 42:32Speaker 9: into my strawberry letter for today. The subject number two
- 42:36Speaker 9: will never be number one, but right now we'll get
- 42:41Speaker 9: to that. Yeah, talk about that a lot on this show.
- 42:45Speaker 9: Right now, the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 42:48Speaker 1: What you got for us, nest, It's.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Time to hit the pool. Summer time is coming. It's here.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Basically, the title is Naked Lifeguard, Naked what lifeguard? Don't don't, don't.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Don't let this bother you could. I know I ain't
- 43:04Speaker 3: the only one on this show to swam, Nick, I
- 43:06Speaker 3: know I ain't. Let's go get make your lifeguard.
- 43:11Speaker 12: Hello.
- 43:12Speaker 13: Hello, I'm trying to reach a Carrie. Yes, this is
- 43:16Speaker 13: Carrie Carrie. My name is Oliver Olive. You put in
- 43:21Speaker 13: an application with the employment agency about looking for some
- 43:24Speaker 13: work as far as being a lifeguard.
- 43:27Speaker 14: Oh, yeah, I did.
- 43:28Speaker 13: Okay. Have you had much experience being a lifeguard?
- 43:31Speaker 14: Yeah, I've been doing this for a while now, back
- 43:35Speaker 14: since I was like eighteen I got my CPR certification.
- 43:41Speaker 14: I've had as many as like two hundred people at
- 43:45Speaker 14: one time watching them. So I'm good. I'm good at
- 43:48Speaker 14: what I do. I love it.
- 43:49Speaker 13: Very good, very good. Well, i'll tell you what. I've
- 43:52Speaker 13: looked over your application and I've checked everything out thoroughly,
- 43:55Speaker 13: and I'm very excited about maybe getting you to I
- 43:59Speaker 13: don't know if you're famili with a public pool. It's
- 44:01Speaker 13: actually in a subdivision. There's two pools there are you
- 44:05Speaker 13: familiar with.
- 44:06Speaker 14: Yeah, I'm familiar with it. They're they're near well Is. Yeah.
- 44:10Speaker 13: Okay, Well there's actually in the back of you there's
- 44:13Speaker 13: a gated community and that is actually the particular property
- 44:17Speaker 13: that I'm talking about. You coming out and working for
- 44:20Speaker 13: us there at the pool site. If we can get
- 44:23Speaker 13: you on Monday to Friday, we're going to actually hire
- 44:26Speaker 13: some some more college students for Saturday and Sunday. What
- 44:30Speaker 13: do you say, Oh, I.
- 44:31Speaker 14: Say, okay, that sounds great mony weekends off.
- 44:36Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, exactly. Now we start off job actually pays
- 44:40Speaker 13: twenty five dollars an hour.
- 44:42Speaker 12: Wow.
- 44:44Speaker 13: You would be our head lifeguard and we would we
- 44:48Speaker 13: would want you to be there from you know. I
- 44:50Speaker 13: mean if you start at twelve, it'll actually like you
- 44:52Speaker 13: to get there around eleven thirty, you know, just just
- 44:54Speaker 13: to be prepared and be the overseer and make sure
- 44:57Speaker 13: the other lifeguards get there on time, and you know,
- 45:00Speaker 13: we'll go from there.
- 45:01Speaker 7: Okay.
- 45:01Speaker 13: Now, carry there's only one catch that actually comes along
- 45:05Speaker 13: with this job. We want you to work an additional
- 45:08Speaker 13: four hours from six to ten at night, but it's
- 45:11Speaker 13: going to pay you fifty dollars per hour. So you'll
- 45:14Speaker 13: make an extra two hundred dollars. How do you feel
- 45:16Speaker 13: about that?
- 45:17Speaker 14: Man?
- 45:17Speaker 12: I feel good.
- 45:18Speaker 14: I mean, with the recession and everything, I can use
- 45:21Speaker 14: that money right now, especially during the summertime.
- 45:24Speaker 13: Okay, now here's the deal. This is in a gated community,
- 45:27Speaker 13: like I told you before, but also it's going to
- 45:30Speaker 13: be adults at night, and they are actually going to
- 45:33Speaker 13: be swimming nude. What Yeah, they're going to be swimming nude.
- 45:39Speaker 13: And what they asked is if they're going to be
- 45:41Speaker 13: swimming nude, they want to make sure that the lifeguard
- 45:44Speaker 13: that's protecting them is going to be nude as well.
- 45:49Speaker 14: Okay, I'm a certified lifeguard, I'm CPR certified, I'm a student.
- 45:55Speaker 14: I've had other jobs, but nudity wasn't on my resume,
- 45:59Speaker 14: and I.
- 46:00Speaker 13: I understand that wholeheartedly. But we're talking about you possibly
- 46:04Speaker 13: making seventeen hundred and fifty dollars a week. How do
- 46:06Speaker 13: you feel about seventeen hundred and fifty a week for
- 46:08Speaker 13: your nursing school. I'm sure that'll definitely pay for it
- 46:11Speaker 13: throughout the entire summer. That should be a big help,
- 46:14Speaker 13: shouldn't it.
- 46:16Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 46:16Speaker 13: W But I mean, I mean, are are you, how
- 46:20Speaker 13: do you feel about trying it for a few weeks
- 46:23Speaker 13: and then you know, why do you feel about that?
- 46:26Speaker 13: I don't know, But I mean, you're gonna watch over
- 46:29Speaker 13: some adults who are actually just gonna be nude in
- 46:31Speaker 13: the pool, and you're nude as well up on the
- 46:34Speaker 13: big chair that overwatches everybody. Seventeen fifty. I don't seventeen
- 46:43Speaker 13: fifty Carrey.
- 46:44Speaker 14: You know, I don't think I'm going to be able
- 46:46Speaker 14: to do that.
- 46:47Speaker 13: Seventeen fifty carry. We're talking about four hours of you
- 46:51Speaker 13: being nude along with some other people that are already new. So,
- 46:54Speaker 13: I mean, what's the big deal?
- 46:55Speaker 11: You know?
- 46:56Speaker 13: What we need you to do is come down. We're
- 46:57Speaker 13: gonna do some drills, some lifeguard drills to make sure
- 47:00Speaker 13: that you're definitely qualified. But we're going to make sure
- 47:02Speaker 13: that when you do those, you got to be naked
- 47:04Speaker 13: as well. Okay, why why would I have to do.
- 47:08Speaker 14: Some drills naked?
- 47:10Speaker 12: I'm on a radio life guard.
- 47:12Speaker 13: What do I need to drug? And understand all that?
- 47:14Speaker 13: But in order we for our particular property, we got
- 47:17Speaker 13: to make sure that you're actually prepared and ready.
- 47:19Speaker 14: You know, I understand.
- 47:21Speaker 13: Well, that's the way it is. Carry. We need you
- 47:23Speaker 13: to come down and do some drills. It's not going
- 47:27Speaker 13: to take a long probably about a half hour. You
- 47:29Speaker 13: come down, you get undressed, you get in the pool,
- 47:31Speaker 13: and we make sure that you're qualified to swim nude,
- 47:34Speaker 13: to handle to saving somebody's life, nude, the whole nine yards.
- 47:38Speaker 14: But what I mean, what if my family come to that?
- 47:42Speaker 13: You know, Carrie, you know I can't go back and
- 47:45Speaker 13: forth with you. I can't now. I know you. You know.
- 47:47Speaker 13: I looked at your resume, I looked at what you
- 47:49Speaker 13: were doing and what you're pursuing in life, and I
- 47:51Speaker 13: thought this would be a great opportunity for you.
- 47:53Speaker 12: But I can't be here.
- 47:55Speaker 14: I mean, I can't do that to my family and
- 47:57Speaker 14: you no, no.
- 47:58Speaker 13: Wait a minute, hang on a second. You can't tell
- 48:00Speaker 13: me you can't do it now?
- 48:02Speaker 12: Oh yes, I yes I can.
- 48:04Speaker 13: So you get your down here in the morning so
- 48:06Speaker 13: I can get these drills done. And I want you
- 48:08Speaker 13: naked when you get here and get in this pool.
- 48:10Speaker 13: You understand me.
- 48:11Speaker 12: Hoo, the hell do you think you're talking to her?
- 48:13Speaker 12: You some kind of pool pimp? Lifeguard? Human resources are
- 48:17Speaker 12: and pimp. You're not pimping me.
- 48:19Speaker 14: I don't have to come down there, but I want
- 48:21Speaker 14: to come down there.
- 48:22Speaker 13: You gonna bring you think it down there tomorrow and
- 48:24Speaker 13: get in this pool and do the drill.
- 48:26Speaker 12: Do you think you're talking too.
- 48:28Speaker 13: I'm talking to you.
- 48:29Speaker 4: You get your tomorrow and you do the drill.
- 48:31Speaker 12: You need to do it. Go get your panel of
- 48:33Speaker 12: Henderson Baywatch because anth doing enough new brass strip for
- 48:40Speaker 12: you all freaking I don't know them. I don't know
- 48:43Speaker 12: them people.
- 48:44Speaker 13: I don't give a pool you know. Now, you get
- 48:46Speaker 13: your down here and you take the job.
- 48:48Speaker 12: I'm not coming down this to your front pool tomorrow
- 48:51Speaker 12: and swim new and life go ahead new for a
- 48:54Speaker 12: bunch of ronchy. I don't know who you take your
- 48:57Speaker 12: time to. I'm just trying to be nice to you.
- 49:00Speaker 14: You come home with that, and then I stood because.
- 49:03Speaker 12: I'm not there kind of girl. You got me? Okay,
- 49:06Speaker 12: you need to go get you.
- 49:07Speaker 14: A a Pamela Anderson baby watch. You know deepse diving.
- 49:11Speaker 12: I don't know what you need, but I'm gonna what
- 49:13Speaker 12: you need.
- 49:14Speaker 13: You get your block down here tomorrow.
- 49:17Speaker 12: What talking I'm talking to you? Talking to who I'm
- 49:21Speaker 12: talking to you? What do you think you're talking to?
- 49:25Speaker 13: I got something I want to say to you, you listening,
- 49:27Speaker 13: you know where you you better go.
- 49:28Speaker 14: Ahead and say because I'm bout to hang up this

- 49:32Speaker 13: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 49:36Speaker 13: You just got pranked by your girlfriend.
- 49:43Speaker 12: I just see this.
- 49:47Speaker 13: She's franks you, baby. Your girlfriend pranks you.
- 49:51Speaker 12: When I see that she's gonna have one less float,

- 50:20Speaker 1: can't do that.
- 50:21Speaker 2: I just can't do that to my family.
- 50:24Speaker 11: Right.
- 50:26Speaker 2: She really was cut your black ass.
- 50:29Speaker 7: Down, Tommy. I'd have been down there for show. I
- 50:36Speaker 7: wouldn't got my daddy. But Tommy, you kind of blew
- 50:39Speaker 7: it in the beginning. You know you're gonna be at
- 50:41Speaker 7: the pool. You're gonna be like the head of You're
- 50:43Speaker 7: gonna be the overseer. I said, what kind of slave
- 50:45Speaker 7: as you dinna be the overseer? I said, what did
- 50:50Speaker 7: his old ass say that he is younger? Gotta be
- 50:53Speaker 7: like the overseer for them that at what point shall
- 51:00Speaker 7: I bring out my bag and pick a bail? Wow?
- 51:06Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you for that. I was scared

- 51:49Speaker 9: Here.
- 51:49Speaker 2: It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 51:51Speaker 9: Thank you, nephew. Subject number two will never be number one.
- 51:57Speaker 9: Stephen Shirley, I was a single and attractive, thirty four
- 52:00Speaker 9: year old woman losing hope at finding love. I grew
- 52:04Speaker 9: tired of the dating cycle, and I decided that I
- 52:06Speaker 9: would not have sex again until I was married, I
- 52:10Speaker 9: prayed and practiced celibacy, and a year later I met
- 52:14Speaker 9: the man of my dreams. He is handsome, educated, gainfully employed,
- 52:19Speaker 9: and he loves the Lord. I fell hard for this man,
- 52:24Speaker 9: and a year after we met, we got married. I
- 52:27Speaker 9: was so excited for my wedding night because it would
- 52:30Speaker 9: be our first time making love. He is blessed with
- 52:33Speaker 9: the proper equipment, but it's his skill set that's lacking.
- 52:39Speaker 9: On our wedding night, I had the absolute worst sexual
- 52:42Speaker 9: experience I've ever had. It was four minutes from start
- 52:46Speaker 9: to finish. Then he passed out and slept like he
- 52:50Speaker 9: has showed out. Since then, he's been overly confident, and
- 52:54Speaker 9: he's not as attentive and loving as when we met.
- 52:58Speaker 9: Six months into the marriage, I ran into an old
- 53:01Speaker 9: friend from college and he had some dental work done
- 53:04Speaker 9: and it made a world of difference in his appearance.
- 53:08Speaker 1: We had lunch and we talked for hours.
- 53:11Speaker 9: He said that when I got married it broke his
- 53:13Speaker 9: heart because he's always had a big crush on me,
- 53:16Speaker 9: but didn't think I'd give him the time of day.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Well, I've given him a lot more than that. I'm
- 53:23Speaker 1: falling for this man.
- 53:24Speaker 9: Because he has given me his whole heart, and he
- 53:27Speaker 9: holds me after sex, kisses my nose, and looks into
- 53:31Speaker 9: my soul when he talks to me. I'm ready to
- 53:35Speaker 9: get a divorce and date my boyfriend for a while.
- 53:38Speaker 9: I want to be happy, and so far this guy
- 53:41Speaker 9: could be my soulmate. Steve says that number two will
- 53:45Speaker 9: never be number one, So I want your opinion on
- 53:48Speaker 9: my situation. What if this time there is an exception
- 53:53Speaker 9: to the rule.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Could this be true love?
- 53:57Speaker 4: Wow?
- 53:57Speaker 2: Love?
- 53:59Speaker 9: Well, by exception to the rule, you mean he's your
- 54:01Speaker 9: number two, right, and you're thinking of making him number one,
- 54:05Speaker 9: replacing your husband with him.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Could this be true love? You ask, well, I don't
- 54:12Speaker 1: know about that.
- 54:12Speaker 9: I don't know if love has anything to do with this.
- 54:15Speaker 9: I do think lust is all over this situation, though,
- 54:19Speaker 9: I do. And instead of.
- 54:23Speaker 1: And would you say, Steve, oh oh oh, sorry, I
- 54:28Speaker 1: thought it was see yeah.
- 54:30Speaker 2: I don't say stupid stuff out.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Of nowhere, okay, okay, And you're right about that. And
- 54:35Speaker 1: I should have known better, because.
- 54:37Speaker 13: I do know you.
- 54:40Speaker 4: You know you.
- 54:41Speaker 9: You talked in the beginning of your letter how you
- 54:43Speaker 9: grew tired, you decided you wouldn't have sex again, you
- 54:46Speaker 9: started losing hope and finding love, and then you met
- 54:49Speaker 9: this great man, the man of your dreams, and six.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Months into your marriage you've already cheated on him.
- 54:55Speaker 9: Instead of trying to fix your new marriage and fight
- 54:58Speaker 9: for it, you haven't done that at all. I mean,
- 55:00Speaker 9: I think you've checked out, You've moved on, uh just
- 55:04Speaker 9: six months in UH. I think you're falling for the
- 55:07Speaker 9: grass as always greener trap. And not once did you
- 55:10Speaker 9: say you tried to, you know, talk to your husband
- 55:12Speaker 9: about what you like, you know, maybe he could do
- 55:15Speaker 9: something better.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And then wait a minute, you.
- 55:17Speaker 9: Did say you prayed, You practice celibacy, and your husband
- 55:22Speaker 9: loves the Lord, so I would think that you would
- 55:25Speaker 9: honor your marriage vows since you're the one that brought
- 55:27Speaker 9: the Lord into it.
- 55:30Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 55:30Speaker 1: This letter doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
- 55:33Speaker 9: I want to tell you to leave your number two
- 55:35Speaker 9: alone and try to work on your number one right now,
- 55:37Speaker 9: since it's only been six months into it.
- 55:40Speaker 1: But I don't think you're going to listen at this point.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I just don't think so.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Steve short As.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Doesn't think she's gonna listen.
- 55:53Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 55:54Speaker 2: I got you.
- 55:55Speaker 1: She wants what she wants.
- 55:56Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't understand what you said. I think you
- 55:58Speaker 7: make valid points in here. Two the number two will
- 56:02Speaker 7: never be number one. Let me help you out with
- 56:04Speaker 7: something you said. Let's start with the letter. Steve says
- 56:08Speaker 7: number twos will never be number one. So I want
- 56:11Speaker 7: your opinion on my situation. What if this time that's
- 56:14Speaker 7: an exception to the rule. Could this be true?
- 56:16Speaker 1: Love?
- 56:18Speaker 7: I said, men don't make their number twos when they
- 56:25Speaker 7: have a number one. If a guy has a solid
- 56:31Speaker 7: his ride or die and that's what he called in
- 56:34Speaker 7: her and then he got a chick on his side,
- 56:37Speaker 7: and you're number two. We don't promote number twos to
- 56:41Speaker 7: number one because you ain't considered ride or die. That's
- 56:47Speaker 7: what the situation is.
- 56:49Speaker 13: OK.
- 56:50Speaker 2: So now this is a different situation because you're married.
- 56:55Speaker 7: You're supposed to be your husband's number one and your
- 57:00Speaker 7: husband is supposed to be your number one. But now
- 57:03Speaker 7: you are a woman wanting to promote your number two
- 57:09Speaker 7: to the number one position, and that's what you're wanting
- 57:12Speaker 7: to do.
- 57:14Speaker 8: This is rare.
- 57:16Speaker 7: Here, let me walk you through some contradictions in this
- 57:20Speaker 7: letter before I give you what I want to say.
- 57:23Speaker 7: You didn't have sex to you, was married. Thirty four
- 57:25Speaker 7: year old woman found this man. He's a man in
- 57:27Speaker 7: your dreams. He's handsome, educated, gamefully employed, and.
- 57:30Speaker 2: He loves the Lord. You did not mention how much
- 57:38Speaker 2: you love the Lord.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Shet up though.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but he loves the Lord. He ain't say nothing
- 57:48Speaker 2: about you.
- 57:49Speaker 7: I fell hard for this man, and a year after
- 57:51Speaker 7: we met, we got married. I was so excited for
- 57:53Speaker 7: my webnite because it will be our first time making love.
- 57:56Speaker 7: He's blessed with the proper equipment, but it's his skill
- 57:59Speaker 7: set that's lacked. Oh so you took a year off
- 58:05Speaker 7: still had Joe skills. So what are we really talking
- 58:10Speaker 7: about here?
- 58:10Speaker 12: All right?
- 58:11Speaker 9: Hold on, Steve, Yeah, pardon too. Steve's response is coming
- 58:14Speaker 9: up at twenty three minutes after. Number two will never
- 58:17Speaker 9: be number one is the subject. We'll be back right
- 58:19Speaker 9: after this.
- 58:20Speaker 1: You're listening Hardy Morning show.
- 58:23Speaker 9: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter,
- 58:27Speaker 9: subject number two will never be number one.
- 58:30Speaker 7: This is an interesting letter about this woman who states
- 58:34Speaker 7: that Steve says that the number two will never be
- 58:36Speaker 7: number one, so I won't opinion on my situation. What
- 58:40Speaker 7: is this What if this time there's an exception to
- 58:44Speaker 7: the rule. Could this be true love? I'm gonna get
- 58:46Speaker 7: to this part quickly. But first of all, she married
- 58:49Speaker 7: this guy, man of her dreams, everything. She's been celibate
- 58:52Speaker 7: for a year and a half. She didn't have sex
- 58:54Speaker 7: to her wedding night. She was so excited about the
- 58:57Speaker 7: sex she fell hard for the man. They made love.
- 59:01Speaker 7: He got the right equipment, but his skill set he's lacking.
- 59:04Speaker 7: Our wedding night, I had the absolute worst sexual experience
- 59:09Speaker 7: I ever had. It was four minutes from start to finish.
- 59:17Speaker 7: So he didn't got you undressed, took all them buttons
- 59:20Speaker 7: off that wedding dress, got.
- 59:22Speaker 2: All them guarters down in them figh highs and all
- 59:27Speaker 2: that une.
- 59:27Speaker 7: Snapped all them spanks and got all that stuff unstrapped,
- 59:32Speaker 7: and got them clips. Wedding dresses had about four five
- 59:36Speaker 7: pieces to it. And then right after that, it was
- 59:42Speaker 7: over in four minutes, and he passed out and slept
- 59:46Speaker 7: like he had showed out to him.
- 59:48Speaker 2: He did.
- 59:49Speaker 7: Now he'd had sex in a year and a half either,
- 59:52Speaker 7: so come on, now, it's a lot of It's a
- 59:55Speaker 7: lot so the first time, maybe he didn't do right,
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: but I guess it continued that way because since then
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: he's been overly confident. He's not as attentive and of
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: loving as he was when you met. So, in other words,
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: I'm assuming you saying that he's become arrogant for some reason,
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: that maybe he thinks he all that because you ain't
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: looking upside his head the right way. You know this
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: four minutes. You need to stop something before we get there.
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me? Can I give more
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: and fault today what we're doing?
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Can we do eight? Let's skin o' clock.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: You need a timer on the night stand, hit a
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: thing like a chest clock, and you need I need
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: eight from you tonight.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Let's work. Let's beat last night.
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: We need twelve. But he ain't been giving it to you.
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: So you ran into an old college for you and
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: had some dinner work done. So that means before in
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: college he had a regglar ass mouth. But now he'dn't
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: got this dinner work done, and he's made a world
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: of difference.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: He said, when he got married, it broke his heart.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: He always had a big crush on.
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: Me, but he didn't think I'd give him the time
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: of Hey, Well, hell, he knew he wasn't he had
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: ragged ass mount. You know he knew well, he knew it.
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: He knew the girl wasn't gonna give him time today.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: You got ragged ass. My raggedy mounth fans me and
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: no they ain't got no. You know your teeth is
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: they gonna see your teeth hard hide your teeth when
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: you're talking, Kate, laugh with bad teeth, you can't even
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: have a good sense of humor. We got raggedy ass mouth.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: So there, Well, I've given him a lot more than that.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: I'm falling for this man because he's given me his
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: whole heart. He holds me after sex, kisses my nose,
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: looks into my soul when he talks to me. I'm
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: ready to get the voice and date my boyfriend, and
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: date my boyfriend a while. I want to be happy,
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: and so far this guy could be my soul mate.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: Steve says his number two would never be number one.
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: So I want your opinion on this situation. What if
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: this time this is an exception to the rule. Could
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: this be true love? All right, here's my answer. He
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: could be you may have married a person that's not
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: your so o mate, it happens all the time. Sometime
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: it take a minute to find your soulmate. Sometime it
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: takes MOLDI one time, help me Jesus trying to work
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: through this letter.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Give him a chance, though, I think it.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Maybe, I think she may have realized she made a mistake.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: I think this.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: Once you got to living with a guy and sleeping
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: with a guy, you discover some things that might not
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: be changeable. Now you can go to counseling, But you
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: got to be in love with this man. If you're
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: not in love with a person, that ain't gonna work.
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: Tina Turner said, WHOA. Of course, love got to deal
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: with it.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: You got to do hard for him.
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: We fell hard and stayed falling two different things. I
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: feil I fell hard for a whole lot of people
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: in my life. Got my ass right back up though,
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: me too, Yeah, I fell hard for a whole lot
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: of damn people.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Got my ass right on back up again.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Did you marry them?
- 1:03:02Speaker 13: Though?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Did you marry them?
- 1:03:04Speaker 13: Though?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: I'm on my third man, You know that a whole
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: lot of people. You haven't had a whole lot of marriage.
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: No, I ain't got I ain't married everybody I fell for.
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: I fell for three women because they had apartments.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: I was homeless.
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: If I fed a girl at the club. Yeah, when
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: I was homeless, I met a girl at the comedy club.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I was in love with it at.
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: Night, hard for her that night, at first sight, first sight,
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: at first I love you as soon as I heard her.
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: She has some keys jangling. Hey, what is them keys to?
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: She said, my apartment? Apartment A dope, You got.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: A bathroom room a Kitschen girl.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: So yeah, it could be and you may have married
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: the wrong person. But only you can know that. I
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: don't tell people that staying marriages. It ain't good.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: Counseling ain't gonna save all of them. Sometimes you made
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: a mistake. You got to eat the mistake. So now
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: it is an exception to the rule. He could be it,
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: but you could be wrong about this one too.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: I'm move my third.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: All right, guys, we got to get out of here.

- 1:07:28Speaker 17: All right, there we go, comedy roulette. You take four subjects,
- 1:07:31Speaker 17: three subjects don't matter. Putting them on a wheel. Spin
- 1:07:33Speaker 17: the wheel where a wheel stop and it stops will
- 1:07:36Speaker 17: make it funny, because that's what we do.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: They don't.

- 1:08:04Speaker 1: All right, here we go.
- 1:08:05Speaker 9: Number one excuses black people make not to get in
- 1:08:08Speaker 9: a swimming pool. Number two things you say to fifty
- 1:08:13Speaker 9: year old men who still wear corn rows.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: Let's do that.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Excuse this you make to not let the Jehovah witness
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: in the house.
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: And Number four things people say when they don't want

- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I get real damn Ashy. I can't get in a

- 1:09:16Speaker 8: Okay?
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: Okay, okay, you know what. I wanted to swim today.

- 1:09:25Speaker 2: only reason why there. They just you know them depends. Yeah,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: I gotta have that. I can't get in there.

- 1:09:36Speaker 7: Every excuse you black people, don't Black people use not
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: to get in the swim. I like to swim all
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: the way down in back. It's too many people in there.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't like overscribed.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I just like to do down the back.
- 1:09:55Speaker 17: Excuse black people make so they don't have to get
- 1:09:58Speaker 17: in the water. It's a whole lot of people in
- 1:10:00Speaker 17: that water and somebody I don't know who it is,
- 1:10:02Speaker 17: but I'm just guessing somebody done broke winning.

- 1:18:49Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, here
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: we are, last break of the day.
- 1:18:55Speaker 9: Last Yeah, this is the last day of the week
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: for US Friday, and it's you're up.
- 1:19:02Speaker 13: You know what?
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: Man, going into the weekend, I'm gonna talk about a
- 1:19:08Speaker 7: subject that can sound a little different coming from me,
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: But I began to understand more and more why it's
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: okay for me to talk about God. Because I am
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: such an imperfect person, because I've made some serious, serious
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: mistakes in my life, because I'm flawed, because I am
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: oftentimes transparent in some of my failings in life, because
- 1:19:48Speaker 7: of my willingness to say I'm sorry. I have learned
- 1:19:55Speaker 7: that I'm a very qualified person to talk about God
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: because I'm a good example that you can be an
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: imperfect person with so many flaws, have done so many
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: wrong things in your life, have gotten it wrong, so
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: many times, have been written off, ridiculed, understood and misunderstood,
- 1:20:24Speaker 7: and you can still have a relationship with God that
- 1:20:30Speaker 7: brings your life into great benefit. So therefore, I'm qualified
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: to talk about this. Now I'm improving, And somebody told
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: me the other day, so you just gonna stay an
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: entry level Christian because I was jokingly telling a person, man,
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: I think I'm really just an entry level Christian. I
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: don't really know how to do advanced Christianity, but I'm
- 1:20:56Speaker 7: okay with this. So they said, so you're never going
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: to improve as a Christian. I said, well, I'm doing
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: the best I can right now with where I am
- 1:21:05Speaker 7: and what I've been working with. I say, but you know,
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: I think that you know I've improved a little bit.
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: I'm better than I was, but I may not be
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: where you think I should be, but I ain't where
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: I was. So with that said, this is a good
- 1:21:21Speaker 7: reason for me to say what I'm saying. I would
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: suggest to everybody that can hear me that you should
- 1:21:29Speaker 7: form a relationship with God immediately, starting now. And the
- 1:21:35Speaker 7: reason I know you need a relationship with him is
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: because life is so difficult.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: If you try to do this without him, you're not
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: going to make it.
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: That if you try to get through this thing called
- 1:21:50Speaker 7: life without a relationship with God, it is too difficult
- 1:21:53Speaker 7: and you will be trapped. I learned something from Victoria Oldstein,
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: and she said that the devil really don't care nothing
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: about you. All he wants to do is rob you
- 1:22:02Speaker 7: of your destiny. I had never heard anybody say that before.
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: I really have it, not that I can remember.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: She said, the devil really don't care anything about you.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: It's not interested in you in the least bit.
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: His mission is to rob you of your destiny is
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: to throw you off course, to not make you see
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: what God created you to be. And that really caught
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: my attention because if I look back on my life,
- 1:22:28Speaker 7: all the things I've happened, everything that's happened to me,
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: every time the devil sends the bloggers to attack me,
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: the one mission that's clearly at stake and is at
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: hand is that they are simply trying to rob me
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: of my destiny. When something happens in your life that
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: the devil sets into play because he has all these
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: impstinct work for him, it's simply because he's trying to
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: rob you of your destiny that he knows that God
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: has blessings for you stored up that he hasn't given
- 1:22:59Speaker 7: to you, and he don't.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Want you to get to that point of receiving him.
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: So he got to throw you off course and keep
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: you from taining your destiny. And that's his job and man,
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: understanding that has made my life a little bit clearer.
- 1:23:12Speaker 7: Ain't made it no easier, but it has allowed me
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: and helped me to understand some of the things that
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: occur in my life. Everything that happened to me ain't
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: from the devils are the imps. Sometimes God provides a test.
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: Sometimes a test is to just to prepare you for
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: something that He has for you. So in testing you,
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: it gets you ready for where you're about to receive.
- 1:23:35Speaker 7: So I've learned that it's a little bit of this
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: and it's a little bit of that. Sometimes I'm a
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: little confused at to which direction is coming from. But
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: at the end of the day, God always reveals to
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: me what the message was that he wants me to learn.
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: Because behind every setback and hardship, that is a lesson
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: and a blessing. But the important thing for you all
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: and for all of us to form some type of
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: relationship with God, because.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: God knows your name. When you reach out to God,
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: he knows your name. He does.
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: He made you, He created you, He knows exactly who
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: you are. He put them fingerprints on you. He made
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: your ten fingerprints different from the six other to eight
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: billion other people that's in this world, and the billions
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: of people that have already died. Ain't none of us
- 1:24:26Speaker 7: have the same fingerprints. That's how much you mean to him.
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: Have a relationship with God because he knows your name.
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: Stay in touch with him. We were all created to
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: need him, moment by moment. When we walk away from that,
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: we put ourselves in jeopardy. It opens up the door
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: for the devil to slip in and rob us of
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: our destiny. Have a relationship with God.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Talk to him. You don't have to go to church
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: to do that. Do that you have a better weekend.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: I know I will. Y'all have a good weekend. Hell
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: drop that mic.
