- 0:26Speaker 2: Show up?
- 0:38Speaker 3: I don't join.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Yah?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Joy.
- 0:59Speaker 5: You don't you.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Turn?
- 1:05Speaker 6: You?
- 1:24Speaker 7: You gotta turn?
- 1:31Speaker 8: I can.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You have to turn the mouth to turn? You probably
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: of the money.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think that I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 9: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice? Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 9: dig me now one and on. Is Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 9: a radio show?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:11Speaker 9: Man, boy, God has been good to me. Man, I
- 2:17Speaker 9: can't really count at all. You can't either, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 9: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 9: God has done for you if you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 9: little thing. It's unbelievable the things He's done for us.
- 2:31Speaker 9: How many times, you know, we got through something without
- 2:33Speaker 9: even talking to him about it. He just he just
- 2:36Speaker 9: blessed us with it. How many you know? It's just
- 2:39Speaker 9: it's so much that the fact that you wake up
- 2:42Speaker 9: in the morning, the fact that you still have a
- 2:44Speaker 9: place to stay, the fact that you know may be
- 2:46Speaker 9: struggling out here, but guess what you still going to work.
- 2:49Speaker 9: You know, you live in check to check, but you're
- 2:52Speaker 9: making it all. You got all the plates spinning. You know,
- 2:55Speaker 9: it's hard. You got a lot of plate spinning, but
- 2:57Speaker 9: you keep him up there somemer every now and there.
- 2:59Speaker 9: One break, but he put two more back up there
- 3:01Speaker 9: to look a little bit better, and you got to
- 3:02Speaker 9: get to spending them so it all works. And then
- 3:05Speaker 9: you got a lot of people who just can't seem
- 3:09Speaker 9: to mentally put it together as to you know, why
- 3:14Speaker 9: their life isn't in a position that they wanted to be.
- 3:17Speaker 9: We talk about this oftentimes, but I don't want to
- 3:20Speaker 9: try another angle with you to day.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You know, maybe it's you. Have you ever thought about that?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Maybe it's you.
- 3:31Speaker 9: Maybe it's no external force that's at fault, like you
- 3:34Speaker 9: keep making the excuse to be You know, so many
- 3:38Speaker 9: people out here, Well, if this hadn't ha done this,
- 3:40Speaker 9: if he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have
- 3:42Speaker 9: done that, I would have been further along.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I wasted all my time, my years with this.
- 3:48Speaker 9: Man, and he did this, and I could have been
- 3:51Speaker 9: here and I could have been there, and this woman
- 3:53Speaker 9: she did this to mean, if she hadn't have done that.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I could have been here, and I could have been there.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Maybe it's you.
- 4:02Speaker 9: Maybe it's not really that external force that you keep
- 4:05Speaker 9: making it out to be. See, I've done this to
- 4:09Speaker 9: myself before. Once again, I'm talking to you about something
- 4:14Speaker 9: I know about. I've done this to myself before. I've
- 4:18Speaker 9: had the reason I wasn't where I wanted to be.
- 4:22Speaker 9: I had it figured out as some external force. I
- 4:27Speaker 9: had worked it out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't
- 4:30Speaker 9: me because of so and so or if this hadn't happen,
- 4:34Speaker 9: and if they hadn't have done this, I would have
- 4:37Speaker 9: been further along up the road.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's what I was saying. But hold on, man, boy
- 4:42Speaker 2: learned a valuable lesson.
- 4:43Speaker 8: Man.
- 4:45Speaker 9: See, if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna
- 4:51Speaker 9: be hard for you to go. If you don't ever
- 4:56Speaker 9: let it go, it's gonna be hard for you you
- 5:00Speaker 9: to go. I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one
- 5:03Speaker 9: day and I heard him say, you can't drive your
- 5:09Speaker 9: car if you gonna keep looking in the rear view mirror.
- 5:14Speaker 9: You go outside and try that, Try to drive your car,
- 5:17Speaker 9: but keep your eye in the rear view mirror. All
- 5:20Speaker 9: you looking at is where you're being. All you're looking
- 5:24Speaker 9: at in that rearview mirror is where you passed or
- 5:27Speaker 9: should have passed, something you should have moved on from.
- 5:30Speaker 9: All you're doing is looking in that real view mirror
- 5:33Speaker 9: at what happened back now.
- 5:36Speaker 2: If you don't stop.
- 5:38Speaker 9: Looking in the rearview mirror, you're gonna crash your car
- 5:41Speaker 9: over and over and over again. All you got to
- 5:46Speaker 9: slow it down so bad in order for you to
- 5:50Speaker 9: keep looking in that rear view mirror. If you don't
- 5:55Speaker 9: learn to let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 5:59Speaker 9: you to go forward because you keep reviewing the past.
- 6:05Speaker 9: The past is the past, and I know it's hard.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:08Speaker 9: I watched a show and this lady said, well, I
- 6:11Speaker 9: just can't ever forgive them for that, or guess what,
- 6:15Speaker 9: guess what God may have already forgiven that person. That
- 6:21Speaker 9: person may be extremely remorseful, could have gone to God
- 6:24Speaker 9: and got in forgiveness for it years ago. But you
- 6:30Speaker 9: you sit here and you keep hanging on to the back.
- 6:33Speaker 9: I can't ever forgive that. Then I heard Bishop Jakes
- 6:37Speaker 9: come on the show one time and say something that
- 6:39Speaker 9: really really struck home. You keep drinking the poison waiting
- 6:45Speaker 9: on your enemy to die.
- 6:49Speaker 2: He said that.
- 6:50Speaker 9: I just shook my head and went, wow, you drinking
- 6:54Speaker 9: the poison. Waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is
- 6:59Speaker 9: poison to you. You know, if hatred is poison to you. Unforgivingness,
- 7:09Speaker 9: when you won't forgive a person, that person could be
- 7:12Speaker 9: going on with they life made the right with God.
- 7:16Speaker 9: Don't know how you feeling. They skipping through life. Now
- 7:19Speaker 9: you make adjustments every time you see them. And it
- 7:21Speaker 9: takes energy. Man, it takes so much energy to hate.
- 7:25Speaker 9: It takes so much energy not to forgive to Now
- 7:29Speaker 9: they come in the room. You got to avoid them.
- 7:31Speaker 9: Stay over here, Oh here they come. Now you got
- 7:34Speaker 9: to make a situation over here. They come into the
- 7:37Speaker 9: house his family reunion. Oh oh, here they come. Or
- 7:39Speaker 9: where they gonna be in the basement. I'm going to
- 7:41Speaker 9: be on the third floor. I want to go out
- 7:43Speaker 9: here and get some barbecue. She out there and the
- 7:44Speaker 9: barbecue staying, Oh lord, I don't want a barbecue. I
- 7:47Speaker 9: just eat to take this out of people, man, take
- 7:49Speaker 9: themselves all out of position, trying to make adjustments, when
- 7:53Speaker 9: if you it would simplify your life, if you.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Would let just let it go.
- 8:00Speaker 9: Maybe you ain't where you need to be because of
- 8:02Speaker 9: them external forces altogether. Maybe you're not where you need
- 8:07Speaker 9: to because of you, because you won't let it go,
- 8:11Speaker 9: you won't move forward. Look at this, ladies. Let's say
- 8:14Speaker 9: you've been in a situation with a man for years.
- 8:18Speaker 9: It didn't work out for whatever the reason, it just
- 8:21Speaker 9: didn't work out. I got what you say he did.
- 8:25Speaker 9: I got what he did, I got he all of that,
- 8:28Speaker 9: YadA YadA YadA. When you get through, did not God
- 8:32Speaker 9: get you through it? Did not he allow you to
- 8:37Speaker 9: survive it. I got you, got some cuts on you,
- 8:41Speaker 9: I got you been a little bit bruised, But did.
- 8:44Speaker 2: He not get you through it?
- 8:47Speaker 9: So, now that he's freed you from it, now he
- 8:49Speaker 9: done went on. He got a whole nother family over
- 8:51Speaker 9: there somewhere. Now he trying to make it right because
- 8:55Speaker 9: maybe he learned the mistake he made and now he
- 8:57Speaker 9: trying to be a better man. He just trying to
- 8:59Speaker 9: get it right now. But you sitting there holding on
- 9:02Speaker 9: to it, you drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy
- 9:06Speaker 9: to die. So now instead of you enjoying the blessing
- 9:08Speaker 9: of finally being free from a situation that was not healthy,
- 9:12Speaker 9: for you. You create an even more unhealthy situation in
- 9:15Speaker 9: your mind by hating, by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping
- 9:21Speaker 9: he fall on his face. Maybe you even doing something
- 9:24Speaker 9: to the other situation to make sure they struggle.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Oh man, you.
- 9:28Speaker 9: Drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe
- 9:32Speaker 9: you ain't where you ought to be in life, not
- 9:34Speaker 9: because of your external forces, but maybe it's you. If
- 9:39Speaker 9: you don't let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 9:42Speaker 9: you to go. You can't keep driving your car looking
- 9:46Speaker 9: in the rear view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is
- 9:52Speaker 9: not for the other person. Forgiveness is for you. Morning show,
- 10:01Speaker 9: ladies and gentlemen. Right now, it's a new day, right now,

- 12:12Speaker 9: It's automatic. It's just like you say something. My response
- 12:16Speaker 9: is instant.

- 15:31Speaker 4: growing from your navel and it gets about six inches
- 15:34Speaker 4: long and it probably bears probably about twenty five to
- 15:37Speaker 4: thirty leaves on it, but it's very small.
- 15:39Speaker 5: WHOA wasn't that big boy? You see a tree gonna
- 15:42Speaker 5: be growing out my name?

- 16:09Speaker 4: the full term is actually like about four weeks before
- 16:12Speaker 4: we can ask me.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Man, I'm not waiting for those four weeks.
- 16:14Speaker 15: Man.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Somebody got to come to me something right now. Man.

- 16:30Speaker 5: And I don't give it down. Where is it? Man,
- 16:32Speaker 5: somebody's gonna have to come give me some help right now. Man,
- 16:35Speaker 5: I'm finna get ready to get married. Man, I'm not

- 16:42Speaker 5: And what you say, If you say I can cut
- 16:44Speaker 5: it out myself, sir, the.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Best I can do is probably trim it a bit,
- 16:47Speaker 4: you know, and maybe knock a few leaves off. But
- 16:50Speaker 4: I cannot touch the full stock at all. Man.
- 16:52Speaker 5: You can cut this for the bandaid, do something.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Cut it right now?
- 16:58Speaker 2: You cannot, sir.
- 16:59Speaker 4: If you cut it as a possibility of hemorrhaging, and
- 17:01Speaker 4: you're going to really create a bigger problem.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Than what you have already.
- 17:04Speaker 5: And I'm trying to get this school that. Man, you
- 17:08Speaker 5: didn't kill me. Ain't nobody never will drive down there
- 17:11Speaker 5: and get this prove with that. Man, I'm gonna get

- 17:17Speaker 5: Now, somebody can do this for me. I poorly.
- 17:22Speaker 9: Sure.
- 17:22Speaker 2: You cannot pull it out. You're gonna create.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Man, You're going to create a bigger problem if you
- 17:27Speaker 4: try to pull it out.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Sir.
- 17:29Speaker 5: The problem is already there. I'm trying to get this problem.
- 17:32Speaker 7: Man.

- 17:38Speaker 5: Man's I have talking out of my summer and you're
- 17:42Speaker 5: killing men.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Ain't you can do, man, sir, Oak triositis is not
- 17:45Speaker 4: something that we treat all the time.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Like I said, it hails from South America, so we
- 17:49Speaker 2: got I.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Don't give help from Great Britain, somebody that I forbid

- 23:17Speaker 1: How do I tell her?
- 23:20Speaker 9: Well, just like just like you text us, just tell her.
- 23:26Speaker 9: But obviously there's something going on financially. She's trying to

- 41:17Speaker 9: know what you come for me. I ain't say nothing
- 41:19Speaker 9: to the caller. I accepted that I picked out the
- 41:21Speaker 9: part I chose to deal with. I don't know what
- 41:25Speaker 9: to tell you. I ain't got nothing to say. But
- 41:26Speaker 9: then you know, Chim and Chime want to jump in
- 41:29Speaker 9: over here something you know. I can't say nothing, but
- 41:32Speaker 9: I got something for both of these two right here.
- 41:35Speaker 9: You know that's how you got to handle it. You know,
- 41:37Speaker 9: if you're all upset, I was talking about your hairline,
- 41:40Speaker 9: you know, you say something else.
- 41:41Speaker 2: You know you came in this morning, you was about
- 41:44Speaker 2: your hands. The next call a calling, and first of.

- 42:04Speaker 7: Supporter, a Trump supporter wants you to get your facts straight.
- 42:09Speaker 17: Uh uh, you see y'all talking about Trump, y'all talking
- 42:14Speaker 17: about how he riot he said, let's go down If
- 42:18Speaker 17: you actually watched the video, Trump said, let's peacefully walk
- 42:22Speaker 17: down there.
- 42:23Speaker 2: To the Capitol.
- 42:24Speaker 17: So don't sit here and put something out there because
- 42:27Speaker 17: you're making yourself look not very intelligent, because.
- 42:32Speaker 3: You really need to see you didn't incite the right.
- 42:34Speaker 3: The riot was going on.
- 42:36Speaker 17: It already had started eight minutes prior.
- 42:38Speaker 5: To the speech evening ending before he even said that.
- 42:41Speaker 17: So get the facts, okay, don't make us look bad.
- 42:46Speaker 2: No hold on, man, let me give you the facts.
- 42:49Speaker 9: The fact that a president you think, would say, let's
- 42:52Speaker 9: peacefully walk down there, full knowing the rhetoric that was
- 42:57Speaker 9: said before, but peacefully walk down there for what to
- 43:02Speaker 9: overturn the government? To peacefully walk down there?
- 43:05Speaker 8: For?
- 43:05Speaker 9: What to overturn a right nunjustifiable election? When a president
- 43:10Speaker 9: sends a group of people to a protest. What kind
- 43:14Speaker 9: of president are we talking about? So I got my
- 43:16Speaker 9: facts straight. What your ass need to do is get
- 43:19Speaker 9: your head out to saying and out of Donald Trump's butt.
- 43:22Speaker 9: So you can see what's really going on. You just
- 43:25Speaker 9: says stupid as the rest of them. Don't call my
- 43:28Speaker 9: show and tell me I ain't got the facts. When
- 43:31Speaker 9: you sit up here, if you listen to the tape,
- 43:33Speaker 9: he said, let's peacefully walk down there. Why would a
- 43:36Speaker 9: president knowing the audience, knowing the Q and none knowing
- 43:42Speaker 9: that all these people in here know the militia groups
- 43:45Speaker 9: that's in the audience looking at the close they got
- 43:47Speaker 9: on and the riot didn't start eight minutes before. That's
- 43:52Speaker 9: not true. They they were down there waiting and they
- 43:57Speaker 9: he sent the rest of them down there. Maybe amen,
- 44:01Speaker 9: Maybe you didn't watch the tape. Were you familiar with
- 44:04Speaker 9: the people whose lives were lost? Did you figure? Did
- 44:08Speaker 9: you see the property damage? Did you see the actions
- 44:12Speaker 9: of the protesters? Did they look peaceful to you?
- 44:16Speaker 8: So?
- 44:16Speaker 2: Now what fact? You won't me? Get straight home?
- 44:19Speaker 8: What you on?
- 44:19Speaker 2: You want to get straight?
- 44:21Speaker 1: All right?
- 44:23Speaker 2: Right?

- 54:17Speaker 1: read this one today. Nephew, what you got?
- 54:22Speaker 2: Buck it up?
- 54:23Speaker 1: Hold on tight.
- 54:23Speaker 4: I'm sure I got caught up in a moment. Buckle
- 54:25Speaker 4: up and hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 54:27Speaker 4: It is a Strawberry letter. Yeah, appreciate you, pimp. Listen,
- 54:31Speaker 4: Shelle ain't here today, So this is how we do it.
- 54:34Speaker 4: I'm gonna read the letter, call it, go respond, then
- 54:36Speaker 4: I'll respond.
- 54:38Speaker 11: Okay.
- 54:38Speaker 9: Subject is I think my wife is a shame to me.
- 54:43Speaker 9: Just Stephen Shirley. I'm a fifty eight year old married man.
- 54:47Speaker 9: I'm a dump truck driver. I retired from teaching after
- 54:50Speaker 9: thirty years.
- 54:51Speaker 2: In the classroom.
- 54:52Speaker 9: I was only fifty five, so I decided to reinvent
- 54:55Speaker 9: myself and get back to work. I was talking one
- 54:59Speaker 9: of my homeboys that has a hauling business. I hadn't
- 55:03Speaker 9: talked to him in years. One day I ran up
- 55:05Speaker 9: into him and he was telling me how he bought
- 55:07Speaker 9: a truck and he gets a lot of business hauling dirt,
- 55:10Speaker 9: tree limbs and debris and he sets his own rates.
- 55:15Speaker 9: He said he already made twenty seven thousand this year
- 55:18Speaker 9: and it's only March. I went to my wife with
- 55:21Speaker 9: the idea of buying a truck and taking a class
- 55:24Speaker 9: to become a certified driver. She shot that idea down.
- 55:29Speaker 9: She said I should go find something better to do.
- 55:32Speaker 9: I went in one year in after the other one,
- 55:35Speaker 9: because I had already had done some research on how
- 55:37Speaker 9: to start my business. Then I talked to another buddy
- 55:40Speaker 9: of mine that's a fire and he said when people
- 55:43Speaker 9: have fires, they need damaged furniture and clothes to be
- 55:47Speaker 9: hauled off. He said, it's so many possibilities fe in
- 55:51Speaker 9: come if I own a truck. So I went and
- 55:54Speaker 9: leased a truck. Then I completed my training. I've been
- 55:59Speaker 9: driving for four months and my uncle lets me park
- 56:02Speaker 9: the truck on the side of this convenience store. My
- 56:06Speaker 9: wife is very upset about my new profession. I think
- 56:11Speaker 9: she's ashamed of me. I over talking to her bulge
- 56:15Speaker 9: ass mama, I'm sorry.
- 56:20Speaker 7: That tone.
- 56:23Speaker 2: That you don't say, ask yes.
- 56:27Speaker 9: I overheard her talking to her bullge and mama, and
- 56:31Speaker 9: she says she hopes this is just a phase. Because
- 56:34Speaker 9: I have a PhD and I'm driving a dump truck.
- 56:39Speaker 9: I was hurt and I wanted to tell her to
- 56:41Speaker 9: stop asking for my dump truck money. Then how do
- 56:46Speaker 9: I build with a wife who is ashamed of my
- 56:48Speaker 9: new hustle and refuses to support me?
- 56:52Speaker 2: My lord, take it away, caller?
- 56:55Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve Well.
- 56:57Speaker 7: I mean, she sounds like she's not it, which you
- 57:01Speaker 7: knew because she specifically told you that. But since you
- 57:05Speaker 7: knew how she felt, you just can't be mad at
- 57:09Speaker 7: her feelings. The good news is that she's not threatening
- 57:12Speaker 7: to leave you. So I think you just have to
- 57:15Speaker 7: keep hustling to pay the bills, because if you don't
- 57:18Speaker 7: contribute to the household, and if you don't help pay
- 57:22Speaker 7: the bills, that's a whole another issue. So if your wife,
- 57:27Speaker 7: I don't know, if she starts talking about divorce, then
- 57:30Speaker 7: you have a decision to make.
- 57:32Speaker 1: But go to your wife.
- 57:33Speaker 7: You have to talk to her and maybe you guys
- 57:35Speaker 7: could come together at what new ideas.
- 57:38Speaker 1: She will support for you hustling and and support you
- 57:42Speaker 1: in that. But for now, you have to keep hustling.
- 57:45Speaker 7: You have to contribute to the household because I'm telling you,
- 57:48Speaker 7: as a wife, if you come in there with no contribution.
- 57:51Speaker 1: You're going to have a bigger, bigger issue. Hello, Hello,
- 57:58Speaker 1: you got to something to the table. What you got
- 58:01Speaker 1: to see?
- 58:01Speaker 2: Here?
- 58:02Speaker 8: I go.
- 58:02Speaker 9: I think my wife is ashamed of me. I think
- 58:04Speaker 9: you right. I think this is ignorance on her part
- 58:09Speaker 9: if you asked me. Here's a man who's fifty eight
- 58:12Speaker 9: years old and he was in the classroom. Now, teacher's
- 58:18Speaker 9: already underpaid, but you know, obviously he did well enough
- 58:22Speaker 9: to retire. Some congratulations to the brother. He was in
- 58:25Speaker 9: thirty years in the classroom, and so he fifty five,
- 58:28Speaker 9: he decided to reinvent himself. He ran up in the
- 58:30Speaker 9: buty it had a dump truck, and was telling her
- 58:32Speaker 9: how much money he had made. He had made twenty
- 58:34Speaker 9: seven thousand dollars so far for the year, and it
- 58:37Speaker 9: was just now March. So he went in there and
- 58:39Speaker 9: told his wife about this idea he thought about of
- 58:43Speaker 9: raising some more money and taking a class become a
- 58:47Speaker 9: certified driver. She shot the idea down. Here is the
- 58:51Speaker 9: key to this whole letter. She shot the idea down
- 58:54Speaker 9: and said, I should go find something better to do.
- 59:03Speaker 9: See you got that PhD. She thinks you ought to
- 59:06Speaker 9: put it to more use and go do something what
- 59:08Speaker 9: she considers better to do. But see, what some people
- 59:12Speaker 9: don't understand is owning a business. It's probably more valuable
- 59:19Speaker 9: at this man in this point in his life than
- 59:21Speaker 9: going to work for somebody else. This man has an
- 59:25Speaker 9: entrepreneurial spirit. He wants to freedom setting his own rates.
- 59:30Speaker 9: He wants to freedom of being his own boss. He
- 59:33Speaker 9: ain't going back to work for nobody else. He put
- 59:35Speaker 9: thirty years in for somebody. This man that came up
- 59:39Speaker 9: with an idea, why I can make extra money. I
- 59:42Speaker 9: don't mind working with my hands. I'm gonna support my family,
- 59:46Speaker 9: take care of Now you in here tripping. Now she
- 59:51Speaker 9: kind of ashamed of him, And I think in this
- 59:53Speaker 9: letter is now we're gonna get into it in the
- 59:54Speaker 9: second half. But that's exactly what then happened.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Now she wrong for this. I think one one hundred
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: percent incorrect in the way she's handling this.
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: Ain't like and he's already making money because he made
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: a statement later on in the letter that I'll read
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: to you when we come back that says he's making money.
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: But it's her thought of the imagery what her friend's
- 1:00:21Speaker 9: gonna say, why he driving the dump truck. So when
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: I come back, I will finish off. Okay, all right,
- 1:00:34Speaker 9: put her on a nice little package in a bowl,
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: and I will also tell you dog how to be
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: successful under these conditions.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: All right, good news.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response at twenty three
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening.
- 1:00:52Speaker 13: Morning show.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: Okay, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: I think my wife is ashamed of me.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well i'd heard that before.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: What's that about? You come on with the recap.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: That's why you call in. And I've had a lot
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: of experience, had a lot of fiddy you ant married man.
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: He's a dump truck driver. He retired from teaching and
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: he was sitting at the house, you know, for a while.
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: He was only fifty five, so he wanted to reinvent himself.
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: He ran up in the buddy. He had a hauling service,
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: and he told him he had a truck and he
- 1:01:28Speaker 9: was how much extra money you could make by hauling debris, trees, furniture,
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: dirt and all like this, and said he'd already made
- 1:01:35Speaker 9: twenty seven thousand dollars and it was only March. He
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: said why that's a good idea, man. So he took
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: the idea into his wife and she shot it down.
- 1:01:43Speaker 9: And the key word for her was, I think you
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: should go find something back to do. That's a very
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: busy statement. So that went in one end out the
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: other because he was already researching on how to start
- 1:01:55Speaker 9: his own business. Then he ran up in another homie
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: of his that was a fire yeah man, and said,
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: when people got fires, they need people to haul off
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: they old clothes, debriathe furniture, all mattresses, all this help.
- 1:02:09Speaker 9: He said, there's a whole lot of possibilities if you
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: own a truck. So dude in the letter went at
- 1:02:16Speaker 9: least a truck. Then he completed his training. He been
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: driving for four months and his uncle let him park
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: the truck on the side of his convenience store. My
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: wife is very upset about my new profession, and I
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: think she's ashamed of me. And you know how he
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: found out. He overheard her talking to her bugy as Mama.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: It does not say you're adding to the description now.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: It should say.
- 1:02:48Speaker 9: Little bugey as Manmi, You and your damn mammi in
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: that running your mouth with your manmi. She says, she
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: hopes it's just a phase because I have a PhD.
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: What do the PhD have to do with the man
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: wanting to be a businessman? What does the PhD have
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: to do with him wanting to own his own service?
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: What does a PhD have to do with him making
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: extra money? What does a PhD? How does a PhD
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: allow you to be your own boss?
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: The man?
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: See, PhD does not allow you to be the man?
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: Not in his world in education, his PhD will allow
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: him to get a job somewhere. Every job you get
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: gonna have a supervisor attached to it, most of them.
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: He tied of it.
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: So now he was hurt, and he wanted to tell
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: her to stop asking for my dump truck money. Oh so,
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: oh right, Oh so you closet embarrassed. You're gonna spend
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: the money that the jump truck may but you don't
- 1:04:02Speaker 9: want him to drive a dump truck. Well, the drug
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: don't drive his damn self. So that's kind of crazy. Now,
- 1:04:08Speaker 9: he says to me, how do I be old with
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: the wife who is ashamed of my new hustle and
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: refuses to support me. Now we have a problem. I'm
- 1:04:19Speaker 9: pretty sure some other people like myself, have been in
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: a situation where you couldn't get support from somebody that
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: you felt was your teammate or something like that, your
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: livy in person, your spouse. You know, we've all had
- 1:04:32Speaker 9: that happen to us. Well, one thing about it. When
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: I was told, if you go out there on tour,
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: don't ever come back. I was told, if you really
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: love me, quit your job, quit doing that and get
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: a regular job. You see me on this radio, don't you?
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: You see me on Family Few, don't you? Cause I
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: didn't give damn what you was talking about. I have
- 1:04:56Speaker 9: the right to pursue my dreams, and my dreams is valid.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:05:01Speaker 9: If she had, if she had an alternative for you,
- 1:05:05Speaker 9: I could understand, baby, instead of having a dump truck business,
- 1:05:10Speaker 9: let's open up this tax service, because you know both
- 1:05:12Speaker 9: of us are accountants. But that ain't the case. Well, baby,
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: let's don't don't do the dump truck business. I would
- 1:05:19Speaker 9: rather put the money in this home remodeling service. Yeh,
- 1:05:22Speaker 9: But but that ain't what she did. All she did
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: was complain about you driving the dump truck because it's
- 1:05:27Speaker 9: embarrassing to her. Because she bugy and her mama bullgy,
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: So you have a problem. I'll support myself though. See,
- 1:05:37Speaker 9: I just keep on doing what I'm doing. It's hard,
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: you know, it's kind of crazy though. Man, you can
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: run up into you can be married to a person
- 1:05:43Speaker 9: that don't support you and tell you what. Ladies, let
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: me just say this too, women, do you know the
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: thing that hurts me and the most that they don't
- 1:05:52Speaker 9: really mention? You know what bothers us more than anything?
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: What's the lack of appreciation? It is the lack of appreciation.
- 1:06:04Speaker 9: Nothing bugs your man more that that he won't say
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: it to you than if you don't appreciate him. Well,
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: why I got Well, he don't appreciate me. Well, I
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: ain't talking about that. I'm talking about women who have
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: husbands and men who are out here going to work
- 1:06:20Speaker 9: and bringing it in the house, trying to make it work.
- 1:06:23Speaker 9: All we want is an occasional pat on the head.
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: I know it's hard out there, but thank you so
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: much for the way you try to take care of
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: this family. We really really appreciate it, and that would
- 1:06:34Speaker 9: go a long way with some people. But instead of
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: just taking the money and then complaining to your bullshy.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Mammy, Yeah, thank you, Steve and Hot half.
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: Of the money that you're getting off the dump truck.

- 1:07:07Speaker 7: Morning show time now for Junior with today's Sports Talk.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: What you got Junior?
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:07:13Speaker 12: Uncle Tim to me, I'll show this.
- 1:07:14Speaker 10: If you had half a million contract and you want
- 1:07:18Speaker 10: to help your team, would you restructure your contract?
- 1:07:20Speaker 12: Would you do that for the team?
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Half a million? Yeah? Five hundred yeah?
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: Half?
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: Would you instructure your contract?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: You to get your money straight first?
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll do that.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Half a million?
- 1:07:33Speaker 10: I mean talking half half a bill is really? Would
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: you restructure your contract to help your team? I don't
- 1:07:41Speaker 10: know what Papa ma Home is doing that.
- 1:07:44Speaker 12: He got half a billion dollar contract.
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: He said he gonna restructure to help the team because
- 1:07:48Speaker 10: he wanted to win another Super Bowl, so he gonna
- 1:07:50Speaker 10: give up. Uh, he gonna restruct his contract free of
- 1:07:53Speaker 10: twenty one million dollars to bring in new players.
- 1:07:56Speaker 12: I don't see why I would do that. I don't
- 1:07:58Speaker 12: know why I don't love a team that more.
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: And now when he say he gonna restructure, he not
- 1:08:02Speaker 9: giving twenty one back. He's just moving around the way
- 1:08:06Speaker 9: he received it. But would you do that for the
- 1:08:08Speaker 9: team though, You'd be surprised how creative they can be
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: with finances.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: He moving that money around.
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: He coming out on top, and you got five hundred

- 1:10:14Speaker 13: Morning show.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Elliott on Steve Harvey FM. Wright.
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: Hey Steve, I'm one of your blue eyed Soul Brother listeners.
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: I've been working for the same company for four years
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: and I love what I do. I also love my coworkers,
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: my boss, that is until last week. We were all
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: in the breakroom having lunch when my boss revealed that
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: he believed the earth was flat. I laughed, thinking he
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: was kidding, but no one else around the table did,
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: and neither did he.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: So I asked him, hoping he was joking, I said,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: are you serious? He assured me.
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: He was and proceeded to lay out some flat earther
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: talking points. This point I decided to change the conversation
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: and talk about sports or something. Apparently my co workers
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: were aware of his beliefs and just never talked about it.
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: I'm not sure I can work for and take directions
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: from someone so dumb.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: What's my next move?
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: Hey? Br bruh.
- 1:11:25Speaker 9: Listen to me, man, you don't leave your job because
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: your boss stupid. No, you're gonna mess up your income
- 1:11:32Speaker 9: because you work around dumb people.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: What are you kidding me? Listen to me.
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: Let him think the earth flat if he want to. Okay,
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: so let me ask you something. If the world was flat,
- 1:11:45Speaker 9: don't they mean there's an edge? Yep, yep, yep. So
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: when you go over to the edge, when you see
- 1:11:53Speaker 9: people go we gonna go around the world.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: How they do that?
- 1:12:01Speaker 9: Has he ever seen a picture of Earth from the
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: satellite the Round one? Yeah, dude, he think that's a saucer?
- 1:12:11Speaker 13: Yeah yeah, Well.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: So Steve. He's struggling though. So he's struggling with how's
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: this man gonna lead me? And he thinks like this, No, no, no,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: why you letting him lead you? You just hey you
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: no no, no, no no no.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: You just work there. Man.
- 1:12:29Speaker 9: But dog, don't nobody lead you just get your check
- 1:12:32Speaker 9: and go home watches people.
- 1:12:36Speaker 18: Dog.
- 1:12:36Speaker 9: I wish I would, man, I don't care nothing about
- 1:12:39Speaker 9: what you think or believe. I've never had a boss,
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: you know, some man. That's the reason I had to
- 1:12:44Speaker 9: get out of out of work the work world, because
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: I never had a boss that I thought should have
- 1:12:48Speaker 9: been in charge of me. I just never met the
- 1:12:50Speaker 9: man that I thought should have been in charge of me.
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: The last person that was in charge of me. His
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: name was Jesse Harvey. Oh my damn daddy, man, not
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: the only person I thought was worth charging me. I
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: let him be in charge of me, and I was cool.
- 1:13:06Speaker 9: But he taught me a lot. I ain't don't, man,
- 1:13:09Speaker 9: I ain't never met nobody I thought she'd have been
- 1:13:10Speaker 9: in charge. I've never had a boss that I bowed
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: down to that. I said, Man, this dude is smart.
- 1:13:15Speaker 9: I hope I bet him one day. I ain't ever
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: hope that. Bob Cook, Jim Neighbors, Riley Patterson, Tom Hawks,
- 1:13:25Speaker 9: I ain't ever had a boss.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: You know, all of them done though every dog.
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: My coolest boss I ever had was Jim Neighbors at
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: Ford Motor Company. Coolest dude I ever had, man, young
- 1:13:39Speaker 9: black dude out of Tennessee with a bear. I thought
- 1:13:41Speaker 9: that dude was real cool. I ain't want to be him.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: But you respected him and took, you know.
- 1:13:47Speaker 9: That respect for him because he had respect for me.
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: I thought he was a cool dude. But I ain't
- 1:13:55Speaker 9: want to be here.
- 1:13:56Speaker 12: He ain't know that, but you know he was your
- 1:13:59Speaker 12: supervisor at four.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I ain't gonna stay here, all right.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: So you're telling Elliott, don't worry about all that, just
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: go do your job.
- 1:14:10Speaker 16: Man.
- 1:14:10Speaker 9: What you're worried about what he thanked the world flat for? Well,
- 1:14:16Speaker 9: I just met an atheist the other day in Family Few.
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: I didn't walk off the set, but.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: That's not your supervisor. That's what he said.
- 1:14:24Speaker 12: That's your show.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: That's your show. You're the host.
- 1:14:27Speaker 12: You can't walk off.
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: I wouldn't give a damn if the president of Freemantle
- 1:14:32Speaker 9: was a Trump supporter. I don't give a damn.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: It probably is. I'm not finna mess with my money
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: up because you because you stupid.
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: Okay, No, all right, there you go, Elliott coming up.
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: We'll have more trending topics on the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: Show at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:57Speaker 13: You're listening Harby Morning Show.

- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Nils back.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Doing no boxing.
- 1:17:09Speaker 12: I'm out here wrestling, Juli.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: You're not gonna be able with Floyd.
- 1:17:13Speaker 17: You do know that, don't.
- 1:17:15Speaker 12: Yes, I said I'm clothes line, I'm wrestling.
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: I ain't nothing you can do it. You can't do
- 1:17:19Speaker 9: nothing with Floyd. I know I can't do nothing with
- 1:17:22Speaker 9: Mike tyst I can do something with Floyd. You can't
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: do a damn thing with Floyd. Y'all need to stop
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: this here, profession box size, bro, this is an ass women.
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: You're gonna take his speed is now? It's not gonna
- 1:17:38Speaker 9: work out.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: I take that. I take that killing I'm not I'm
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: not fooling with Mike.
- 1:17:44Speaker 12: What we're gonna do it?
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: If it did, I didn't say you needed Mike, but
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: you actually you're finish. Go in here with uh Floyd
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: Floyd and go home.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Clear.
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: Yeah, you're still gonna need some medication party. I'm gonna
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: tell you.
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: Now, I'm not fighting Floyd foul No got to wrestle Floyd.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: Don't boy it all right?
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: Would you rather marry the person of your dreams or
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: have the job of your dreams?
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: One or the other?
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Job the job of my dream I can get the
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: person later. I need the job of my dream. Man
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: and man you married?
- 1:18:27Speaker 9: Dude?
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Did you look at my face?
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: Did you just say, why are you y'all to ask
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: these questions? If y'all don't want to ask, that's your answer? Well,
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: you know what I just I'm just gonna quit answer.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Huh. I understand the answer. I happen to have both.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: So, But would you rather the person of your dreams
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: or the job of your dreams.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: Except what I say, we accepted it.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Moving on, Come on, Jr. What you got ain, Steve?
- 1:18:56Speaker 12: Hey, I just got in here. Hey, that's all I
- 1:18:59Speaker 12: have to say.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Hey, the you can say that's well.
- 1:19:04Speaker 9: See, Tommy is absolutely correct.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: Though.
- 1:19:08Speaker 9: If you get the job of your dreams, you can
- 1:19:10Speaker 9: probably attract the person in your dream. But if you
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: got the person of your dreams, they can help you
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: build and have the life of your dream. So I
- 1:19:20Speaker 9: think the most important factor is the person. Yeah, okay,
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: it's the person.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: The person.
- 1:19:27Speaker 9: The person is the key factor. A woman is like
- 1:19:30Speaker 9: an elevator button. She could take you up or she
- 1:19:33Speaker 9: could take.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: You down, and you leave that. Youve got to get
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: the right person because you get the wrong one. Partner.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: We feel the same way about men.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: All right, you absolutely yeah?
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:19:48Speaker 7: Coming up forty nine minutes after the hour, we will
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: close out the show with Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening.
- 1:19:58Speaker 13: Morning show.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: It's our last reck of the day Steve on this Thursday. Wow,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: this week went by pretty fast. You got some closing
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: remarks for us, sir.
- 1:20:07Speaker 9: Yeah, I do, okay, my closing remarks today is to Junior.
- 1:20:13Speaker 9: I want to apologize to Junior. What I want to
- 1:20:16Speaker 9: offer an apology to Junior because I didn't know what Junior.
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: I found out earlier that was hurting his feelings that
- 1:20:22Speaker 9: I had mentioned his hairline on the radio. So I
- 1:20:26Speaker 9: want to apologize for mentioning your hairline on the radio
- 1:20:30Speaker 9: and let you know that I didn't know that bothered
- 1:20:32Speaker 9: at you.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: It's just really amazing to me how it bothered you.
- 1:20:36Speaker 9: And look at this, you know, for you to come
- 1:20:39Speaker 9: in here every day and sit here and give your
- 1:20:41Speaker 9: best and all and all to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:20:44Speaker 9: and yet to sit there and feel somehow challenged and
- 1:20:48Speaker 9: to feel like you and them in the best life.
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:20:53Speaker 9: I just want to take some time out to apologize
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: to you.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: I didn't really.
- 1:21:00Speaker 9: Mean to hurt your feelings, and I didn't even really
- 1:21:06Speaker 9: to be honest with you, don't see how it is
- 1:21:08Speaker 9: hurting your feelings.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: The fact that it does makes me have to apologize.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: I'm not hurt. Yeah, well it was hurt.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Yeah call it.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Didn't he say he was hurt.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: You're acting like you were hurt. You brought it.
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: This was yesterday and then you brought it up today.
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: So stevens apologizing Jr.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: This lane hurts his Lyne.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: You shut up, nephew.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: So I wanted to take this time and the closing
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: remarks do something I've never done before.
- 1:21:42Speaker 18: Junior.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: This is big.
- 1:21:44Speaker 9: This is I want to apologize to Junior kire space
- 1:21:49Speaker 9: for bringing it up, for mentioning.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: It, bringing it up and bringing it back.
- 1:21:54Speaker 9: Well, the WB started a long time ago. I was
- 1:21:57Speaker 9: there when the WB started because they bought my contract
- 1:22:00Speaker 9: from ABC. And when the WB started, I had a
- 1:22:04Speaker 9: hold and deal with ABC. The WB bought the talents
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: of Steve Harvey from ABC. WB was back then. WB
- 1:22:17Speaker 9: is also making a comeback. The WB is not a
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: TV network anywhere anymore. The WB is Junior's headline man.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: Not how thought you were going deep?
- 1:22:33Speaker 12: What I would try to learn something You is learning something.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: The WB stands for way back. It's way back there now.
- 1:22:47Speaker 9: But the redeeming factor in all this is and I
- 1:22:50Speaker 9: won't applaud you, sir, because the fact that you are,
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: in the words of LTD, holding on.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Mm hmm so very hard to do when hand gone.
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: H So, in my humblest way, I've set the tone
- 1:23:17Speaker 9: to do something I've never done before, and that's to
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: apologize to JR.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I see, I was with you at first, and then you.
- 1:23:26Speaker 12: I thought the WB story color was gonna teach me something.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: I did too. My bad, Junior, My bad.
- 1:23:32Speaker 12: I thought, you know what this, This is the type
- 1:23:35Speaker 12: of mentor you're gonna be to me in front of
- 1:23:37Speaker 12: the world. This is how you gonna mentor me.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: Really, it's called tough love, JR.
- 1:23:45Speaker 9: It's called mentoring you to prepare you for things to come,
- 1:23:49Speaker 9: and to prepare you for things that's gone. It's not
- 1:23:59Speaker 9: easy trying to get somebody you meanted to face the truth.
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: Way'm mored face. And sometimes when you're talking to young people,
- 1:24:14Speaker 9: you got to get him to identify the problem. And
- 1:24:19Speaker 9: I think we've all identified it. Now hold your head
- 1:24:22Speaker 9: back up. It's the same thing.
- 1:24:24Speaker 12: Why should you even say, huh okay, go ahead.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: I just said that. I mean just he said he's finished,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: so do you.
- 1:24:35Speaker 12: But I said go ahead, And I.
- 1:24:37Speaker 9: Thought you said go ahead. You you have you're going
- 1:24:41Speaker 9: way ahead. And it's all good man. I've been just
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: looking at you, man, and it's me and Tommy. You
- 1:24:51Speaker 9: know we went only just let ours go years ago.
- 1:24:54Speaker 9: We just let it go because we just saw it.
- 1:24:56Speaker 9: It was it was just tired of fight. And it's
- 1:25:00Speaker 9: all good though, junior man. We've got a lot of
- 1:25:02Speaker 9: love for you and everything. But like it's certain things
- 1:25:06Speaker 9: like not that bad, it's not it's not. I want
- 1:25:08Speaker 9: you to quit what I want you to do. I
- 1:25:12Speaker 9: want you to stop saying stuff like it's not that bad. Okay,
- 1:25:15Speaker 9: Well then how bad is it? And the glare from
- 1:25:20Speaker 9: the light above your head is shining all the way
- 1:25:23Speaker 9: up to the heads the set.
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: Yeah, which means that's what now?
- 1:25:30Speaker 12: Because if I say that get killed again? I can't.
