- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: all suit on the down, giving them more like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: milking buck things in its tubbles. Y'all good it, Steve
- 0:21Speaker 1: ha listen to movie together for stun Please, I don't
- 0:38Speaker 1: join join me in being me. Honey. You gotta turn
- 1:22Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turnow, got to turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water come come on your back that
- 2:00Speaker 1: uh huh, I sure will a good mart and everybody
- 2:04Speaker 1: you're listening to the voice, come on dig me now
- 2:07Speaker 1: want and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:11Speaker 1: oh man, oh man? How good is God to me?
- 2:15Speaker 1: And part of the mission and the reason that I
- 2:18Speaker 1: have a radio show is to become a share of
- 2:22Speaker 1: more and more of a share of you know. I
- 2:25Speaker 1: used to hear my mother say it to me all
- 2:27Speaker 1: the time. But God blesses you to become a blessing.
- 2:30Speaker 1: And I think the more you understand that about yourself,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I think the more blessings will flow your way. I
- 2:36Speaker 1: think that once you understand the principle that you know.
- 2:41Speaker 1: But it's kind of tied together with some other scriptures,
- 2:44Speaker 1: and I'm not too knowledgeable about them, of course, as usual,
- 2:48Speaker 1: But I do know what I've heard you know, and
- 2:51Speaker 1: you know if you look at something simple as do
- 2:53Speaker 1: unto others as you would have them do unto you,
- 2:57Speaker 1: wouldn't you want somebody to help you if you needed help.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I just know how to get it down there to
- 3:03Speaker 1: where I've been able to understand it. If there's a
- 3:07Speaker 1: scripture similar that it says do unto others as you
- 3:11Speaker 1: would have them do unto you, or if that's you
- 3:16Speaker 1: know in a prayer, would not you want somebody to
- 3:20Speaker 1: help you if you needed help? You've heard you reap
- 3:26Speaker 1: what you sow. Do you understand that if you so discord,
- 3:32Speaker 1: that discord is gonna come your way. That if you hate,
- 3:37Speaker 1: hate gonna come your way. If you blog nothing but
- 3:40Speaker 1: negative comments about people, your life will be filled with negativity.
- 3:45Speaker 1: If all you do is talk about people, then guess
- 3:48Speaker 1: what somebody got to turn that gun around and talk
- 3:50Speaker 1: about you. See, it just stands to reasons. So what
- 3:56Speaker 1: I've learned in my life and through all the trials
- 3:59Speaker 1: and relations that I've had, is to take those lessons
- 4:04Speaker 1: and share them with people in case you ain't heard
- 4:07Speaker 1: it from somebody else. See sometimes and the reason it
- 4:11Speaker 1: seems like I'm redundant at times, is what I am
- 4:15Speaker 1: is because I'm always trying to find a different way
- 4:18Speaker 1: to say the same thing. Because it's a funny thing. Man,
- 4:22Speaker 1: You got to hear it a certain way for it
- 4:24Speaker 1: to click with you. How many times have I heard
- 4:29Speaker 1: a saying and then I heard it a different way
- 4:34Speaker 1: that it clicked with me? You know, I've heard of
- 4:39Speaker 1: this saying right here, remember this now, everybody's not happy
- 4:43Speaker 1: for you. We've all heard that, right, everybody's not happy
- 4:46Speaker 1: for you. Well, that's very simple that I don't need
- 4:50Speaker 1: no explanation. That simply means of all the people you
- 4:54Speaker 1: know or do not know, when something happens to you
- 4:58Speaker 1: and you celebrating it, everybody's not going to join in
- 5:01Speaker 1: on the celebration. That's all that is. But then you
- 5:05Speaker 1: take it one step further. My father used to say
- 5:08Speaker 1: something to me all the time. He says, son, everybody
- 5:10Speaker 1: come with you, can't go with you. I didn't get
- 5:13Speaker 1: that when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you can't
- 5:15Speaker 1: go with you. He said, you're gonna lose some of
- 5:17Speaker 1: these friends you got along the way. But I don't
- 5:20Speaker 1: care where you get in life. No, this right here.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Everybody can't go with you. If you are constantly trying
- 5:28Speaker 1: to improve yourself, you constantly have to take assessment of
- 5:31Speaker 1: the people around you. Because if you are going to
- 5:34Speaker 1: continue to go and continue to grow, then guess what
- 5:38Speaker 1: you got to have people that's on the goal and
- 5:41Speaker 1: willing to grow, or else, guess what you're gonna learn
- 5:46Speaker 1: the valuable lesson. You know, the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I was talking with Butch Lewis one time, and man
- 5:54Speaker 1: with a good brother man, he said, every successful man
- 5:59Speaker 1: is doing what I call he got rope work to do.
- 6:02Speaker 1: He got rope work to do. He got to put
- 6:05Speaker 1: in work on rope. And I'm sitting there listening to
- 6:08Speaker 1: Butch Lewis and all the money he had made and
- 6:11Speaker 1: all the people's lives he had changed, and all of
- 6:13Speaker 1: the moves he was made, and his incredible skills as
- 6:16Speaker 1: a negotiator on behalf of some very very wealthy people.
- 6:20Speaker 1: He was just an amazing man with no education. But
- 6:23Speaker 1: he read everything. He butch Lewis read all that, all
- 6:26Speaker 1: the papers, all the periodicals. That brother knew everything. He said,
- 6:31Speaker 1: you got to put in rope. And I was sitting
- 6:33Speaker 1: there listening. He said, here's the analogy, little brother. He said,
- 6:37Speaker 1: you are on rope. There's a thick rope. You have
- 6:41Speaker 1: on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes. You
- 6:45Speaker 1: have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off just
- 6:49Speaker 1: below the knee, and they tattered, and you got dirt
- 6:52Speaker 1: on you and you're sweating. There's this huge, huge raw
- 6:56Speaker 1: rope over your shoulder that's burn marks on all of
- 6:59Speaker 1: your shoulder. Connected to that rope is a wagon. That
- 7:03Speaker 1: wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
- 7:08Speaker 1: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
- 7:13Speaker 1: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
- 7:19Speaker 1: all on that wagon. Man, they're just sitting there. He's saying,
- 7:22Speaker 1: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon
- 7:25Speaker 1: up the heel. Now. The only thing with it is,
- 7:28Speaker 1: can't nobody help you pull your wagon. You pull your
- 7:31Speaker 1: wagon alone. He saying, Now, what you can do along
- 7:35Speaker 1: the way of pulling your wagon, as you can find
- 7:37Speaker 1: yourself a good wife, a good woman. He's saying that
- 7:41Speaker 1: what that woman does is she get down off the wagon.
- 7:44Speaker 1: She fan you while you pull it. She put water
- 7:47Speaker 1: on you while you pull it, she puts stuff in
- 7:49Speaker 1: your mouth while you pull it. She kicked rocks out
- 7:52Speaker 1: the way while you pull it. But she but she
- 7:54Speaker 1: pull it for you. But she is equally as important
- 7:57Speaker 1: as you are on the pull of the rope. He said,
- 8:00Speaker 1: you hear me clearly now, young soldier. He said, NA
- 8:03Speaker 1: get this hell, he says, people on your wagon that
- 8:06Speaker 1: you're responsible for. But you want the people on your
- 8:09Speaker 1: wagon to help you get your wagon to the top.
- 8:13Speaker 1: So what you hope is that they got their foot
- 8:15Speaker 1: hanging over the side pushing, They got one leg over
- 8:19Speaker 1: the back, or maybe both legs over the back pushing.
- 8:22Speaker 1: They got they might have their butt on the wagon,
- 8:24Speaker 1: but they push you with both legs. They're back facing
- 8:27Speaker 1: your back, maybe some of them facing you when one
- 8:29Speaker 1: of them got left leg hanging over trying to push.
- 8:32Speaker 1: And you hope that all the people on the wagon
- 8:35Speaker 1: you pulling its back there at least trying to help
- 8:38Speaker 1: the wagon get to the top of the hill. Here
- 8:40Speaker 1: goes your problem. Though everybody ain't pushing, Everybody ain't pucking,
- 8:45Speaker 1: ain't ba everybody ain't pulling. Everybody ain't kicking rocks out
- 8:48Speaker 1: the way. You got some people on your wagon that's
- 8:51Speaker 1: just laying on the wagon, drinking lemonade, looking at you,
- 8:55Speaker 1: talking about how long it's taking you to get your
- 8:58Speaker 1: wagon up to the top, looking at you, telling my
- 9:00Speaker 1: whitest wagon, so slow. Then when you start picking up
- 9:04Speaker 1: picking up speed, they want you to pull harder, you
- 9:07Speaker 1: to pull faster, you to pull mole. Then they want
- 9:10Speaker 1: you to throw what you then earned on the weight
- 9:12Speaker 1: up the hill, backed on the wagon so they can
- 9:14Speaker 1: have mo But guess what, they ain't helping you get more,
- 9:17Speaker 1: but they got a sense of entitlement that since you
- 9:20Speaker 1: got mod they should have more. Everybody come with you
- 9:24Speaker 1: can't go with you. Sometimes you gotta kick the people
- 9:27Speaker 1: off the wagon that ain't pushing and pull it and say,
- 9:30Speaker 1: hey man, I'm sorry. I thought I could do this
- 9:32Speaker 1: with you, and I thought you was going with me.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But it's clear to me you ain't nothing but dead weight.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And it ain't my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I have carried you as long as I have to
- 9:43Speaker 1: carry you. You are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible
- 9:47Speaker 1: for my family, my wife, my children. I'm not responsible
- 9:51Speaker 1: for you. You got to get off my wagon because
- 9:53Speaker 1: I'm a man on rope. I'm on a mission. Baby,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm pulling. You're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, monkey trainers, baboons, contactness,
- 10:14Speaker 1: five eatles, high wire trappeees, flip artists, and cheerleaders. Have
- 10:26Speaker 1: your attention please the rest of y'all. Loser, you ain't

- 15:46Speaker 1: There there's another one. This is so much fun. Put

- 15:57Speaker 1: up in Christmas paper, put a bowl on it, go
- 16:00Speaker 1: to the mom. Set it on the hood of your car,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and just watch people steal it. It is so much
- 16:07Speaker 1: I like that one to see them drive around like, oh,
- 16:14Speaker 1: there's a box on the car and get it. Get it.
- 16:20Speaker 1: That's him. Get on the elevator. Wait, you see somebody
- 16:26Speaker 1: with a whole lot of packages, and hurry up. I'm
- 16:30Speaker 1: come on, I got it. I'm holding the elevator. I
- 16:34Speaker 1: got it. And when they get there. You let that

- 17:05Speaker 1: sit on Santa lap, hold up the line. Just pull
- 17:09Speaker 1: out a long ass list, just to the kids get
- 17:12Speaker 1: irritated where they stop crying and and then hard. I
- 17:17Speaker 1: didn't want to get a new house. Just as long
- 17:19Speaker 1: as you can talk to Santa the better. Oh another,

- 17:41Speaker 1: them inflatable Santa Claus hold up and tied to the
- 17:44Speaker 1: hood and drive by schools and hey, what's going on?
- 17:48Speaker 1: The little kids are there's a real good ahead. It's
- 17:52Speaker 1: kind of tricky. What is what are we doing here?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Little things to do over the holiday? Kendy Brown find
- 17:58Speaker 1: your ex girl, Yes, right on the back of her car.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Merry Christmas, ho ho hole catchen. Here's the catch. The
- 18:09Speaker 1: catch two of the whole holes have been written by
- 18:12Speaker 1: paint that will wash off when it rained. So in
- 18:15Speaker 1: the back of the car, just said Merry Christmas. Hole

- 19:41Speaker 1: that's a hard say. Yeah, I can't celebrate a holiday

- 19:57Speaker 1: Quans is it's a certain amount of day. Yeah, it's

- 21:44Speaker 1: an operation before in my life, and I know I

- 22:09Speaker 1: put your hands on him. We asked, Father, that you
- 22:12Speaker 1: hold on to the doctor that's getting ready to go
- 22:15Speaker 1: and lay to put the surgery on him. Yes, we
- 22:17Speaker 1: asked that you make sure that the doctor it's got
- 22:21Speaker 1: a strong eye on that morning walk with him. We
- 22:24Speaker 1: asked that that that he got a steady hand when
- 22:27Speaker 1: he got the scalpel in his hand. We asked that
- 22:29Speaker 1: you hold on to him please as he goes into
- 22:33Speaker 1: a surgeon, because we know comes side the morning, the
- 22:36Speaker 1: victory gonna belong to brother Conley and the Lord. We
- 22:41Speaker 1: know all of this. But we we asked that you
- 22:43Speaker 1: take that pincers and you remove it out successingly, close
- 22:46Speaker 1: him back up like it will never been into the
- 22:49Speaker 1: end before. Walk with me. That's what we're asking. We
- 22:51Speaker 1: ask your Lord at the same time that they're removing
- 22:54Speaker 1: this pincre as Lord, we asked that your reach around
- 22:58Speaker 1: his backside, and we asked that you his kidney, Lord,
- 23:02Speaker 1: touches kidney and make it hold make it a hundred
- 23:05Speaker 1: and ten percent. We want you to make that that
- 23:07Speaker 1: kidney like it's been that best kidnon deacon, that's deacon
- 23:12Speaker 1: Deacon whoop, pat deacon passion. Yes you know you say, then, sir,
- 23:16Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with my kidney, Deacon. I'm doing I'm
- 23:19Speaker 1: doing fine. The Lord is Lord has been needed. Well,
- 23:22Speaker 1: he's gonna work on my pancres. That's what the doctors
- 23:24Speaker 1: operating now then't trot me forward, and that's what they're
- 23:27Speaker 1: playing to remove. So really, my kidney is fine. They
- 23:30Speaker 1: did what they called when they'm in my eyes and
- 23:32Speaker 1: everything else is fine. He ain't working on nothing but
- 23:34Speaker 1: my pancres, sir, right right right, Well, let me let
- 23:37Speaker 1: me say I'm glad you brought it up with this,
- 23:39Speaker 1: this this on't we want I call you? Huh? Of
- 23:42Speaker 1: course I did call the prey for you, Yes, you know,
- 23:45Speaker 1: because I want to make know that that that that
- 23:47Speaker 1: you make it through this successfully. But what another the
- 23:49Speaker 1: reason why I'm getting rounded is here is uh, what
- 23:53Speaker 1: I want to ask you? And I know we we
- 23:54Speaker 1: you know, we've never met face to face. I've seen
- 23:57Speaker 1: you a couple of times, like I said, the church,
- 23:58Speaker 1: but you've been out most time, or you're with your
- 24:00Speaker 1: sickness and whatnot. But now what what I was gonna
- 24:04Speaker 1: ask you was yeah, And I know this is I
- 24:08Speaker 1: hate to come at you in the final hour and
- 24:09Speaker 1: you're getting ready to go outsertas and all that. But
- 24:12Speaker 1: if you don't mind it, if you could see it
- 24:15Speaker 1: in your heart to see to do something for somebody else. Yes, Uh,
- 24:20Speaker 1: that's that's the last we are you always supposed to
- 24:22Speaker 1: help those who came right, And I'm glad you you
- 24:25Speaker 1: think like that. Now when they go in on Friday
- 24:28Speaker 1: morning and remove that pinker is out, do you think
- 24:34Speaker 1: that that that that they could go in and get
- 24:37Speaker 1: one of your kidneys? Because I need one? Hold hold on,
- 24:41Speaker 1: just midgu what you say, what you say? See see
- 24:46Speaker 1: see what else? I've been going through myself with a
- 24:48Speaker 1: little ailment and and I'm wondering if if if I
- 24:52Speaker 1: need a kidney, and I'm wondering if you can give
- 24:54Speaker 1: me one of yours When they go in and get
- 24:55Speaker 1: your pinker, they're going already to have your open. Did
- 24:58Speaker 1: you say you wanted them to take one of my kidneys? Yeah,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and give it to me because I need one. You
- 25:03Speaker 1: need a kidney? Yeah? But what was I mean? You
- 25:06Speaker 1: already gonna be landing there open wait a minute, mister,
- 25:09Speaker 1: you need a kidney, I need help with my packers.
- 25:11Speaker 1: You will call me with some black that. Man, this
- 25:13Speaker 1: ain't no work of the Lord. Now you say you're
- 25:15Speaker 1: a deacon like I said Dickon Patterson my name. But
- 25:19Speaker 1: see what I'm asking you? What you are making me? Man?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Brother Connelly, what harm is it? If you already open
- 25:26Speaker 1: and land on t oh. You ain't heard a damn
- 25:28Speaker 1: thing I saying? Have you? I said, I'll be man,
- 25:31Speaker 1: You're crazy as hell. Now what I'm gonna have to do.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna need to call the pastor because he's a
- 25:37Speaker 1: going on here. You say you knew you man a
- 25:39Speaker 1: damn new mister, matter, you too damn new to know
- 25:42Speaker 1: who you're talking to? What what what I'm saying is
- 25:44Speaker 1: you have two two look like you said? You say
- 25:47Speaker 1: they did the Mr. I don't give what I said
- 25:50Speaker 1: they did. Man, I got two kidneys. You got to
- 25:52Speaker 1: one of yours? Bad. That's your problem. Mister. Let me
- 25:55Speaker 1: tell you something. I'm trying to get well and you
- 25:57Speaker 1: calling with this. You say you're a new you damn
- 26:00Speaker 1: show ills and you won't be at the church long.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'll tell you that because if I ever get close
- 26:05Speaker 1: to yours. We got some reston to do. What is
- 26:07Speaker 1: it gonna hurt for you to give me one of
- 26:09Speaker 1: them kidness? If both them, if both of them kidness
- 26:11Speaker 1: is good. It ain't gonna hit him. Think you ain't
- 26:13Speaker 1: getting my kidney? Man, ain't gonna what's wrong with you? Say? Man,
- 26:18Speaker 1: All I'm saying is if you're gonna be old and
- 26:19Speaker 1: laying on the table, what is it gonna hurt old?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Now you're gonna kill im? Wote me laying on the
- 26:25Speaker 1: damn table? What kind of a tell you in charge of? Mister?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Let me tell you something I was. I need to
- 26:30Speaker 1: meet you before I get to the hospital, and none
- 26:32Speaker 1: I can hit pick out that damn bag getting to yours,
- 26:34Speaker 1: and I can't tell you that we you're gonna feel
- 26:37Speaker 1: a damn thing. How about that. I'll be damned if
- 26:40Speaker 1: you're gonna call and talk to me out of one
- 26:41Speaker 1: of my damn kittens. Man, I'm trying to live just
- 26:44Speaker 1: like you. Try to let the Lord take care of me,
- 26:46Speaker 1: because what you're talking about it ain't got a damn
- 26:48Speaker 1: thing to do with Jesus. You can kiss my and
- 26:50Speaker 1: get off my phone. That's what you can do. Can
- 26:53Speaker 1: I say one more thing to you. What is you
- 26:55Speaker 1: listening to me? Man? I don't listen to you, and
- 26:58Speaker 1: you ain't talking about That's got nothing to do with
- 27:01Speaker 1: what's going on with me. Mister, you're running the game.
- 27:04Speaker 1: If I could get to y'all put leading you. But
- 27:07Speaker 1: can I just say one more thing and then I'm
- 27:08Speaker 1: gonna let you go as you're listening for what that is?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Nephew timing from the Steve Harby Morning Show. You just
- 27:16Speaker 1: got pranked by your daughter. Oh Lord, have them that girl.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Lord have mercy, Lord, have much Jesus, and you are right,
- 27:28Speaker 1: brother con Man. Man, you have made me use language
- 27:30Speaker 1: that I swear I don't know about. I heard my
- 27:32Speaker 1: nagle's name using that kind of stop the long time ago,
- 27:35Speaker 1: talking that away. Please forgive me God him Mercy, whoa, y'all.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to Lord him Mersus. My heart is
- 27:42Speaker 1: power painting hill Lord him, Mercy, Jesus, this ain't me,
- 27:46Speaker 1: This ain't me. And you I'll tell you what I
- 27:50Speaker 1: enjoyed Steve Hardy and if you told me I do,
- 27:52Speaker 1: Brother Commy, I gotta ask you one more thing, man,
- 27:55Speaker 1: What is the baddest I'm talking about, the baddest radio
- 27:59Speaker 1: show in the It's gotta be It's gotta be y'all,
- 28:04Speaker 1: It's gotta be y'all here. I don't want you know
- 28:05Speaker 1: the name of Steve, Steve Harvey Mortar show. Lord, happen us.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I ain't gonna forget it now. Can anybody loan me
- 28:12Speaker 1: your kidney here? No way, too much. Let my kidney go.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I need it coming out more of the Steve Harvey
- 28:25Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:32Speaker 1: All right. The stereotype of being singles during the holidays
- 28:35Speaker 1: usually brings looks of pity from people, but really, really,
- 28:39Speaker 1: it can be cool. It can if you're single. What
- 28:43Speaker 1: being single for the holiday? Yeah, and don't look to
- 28:45Speaker 1: be before? You need to find somebody? Get up, don't don't.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I need to find someday about. Wake
- 28:52Speaker 1: your ass about by yourself? Yeah, wake up? Oh Christmas Day?
- 28:56Speaker 1: By yourself? Ain't no noise another room? Wow? Okay, okay, Well,
- 29:02Speaker 1: there are there are a lot of things, junior, that
- 29:04Speaker 1: single people can do that someone with a significant other can't.
- 29:08Speaker 1: How about that? All right? I would I'm gonna tell
- 29:13Speaker 1: you your time is your own for one thing. You
- 29:15Speaker 1: have that freedom. But guys, here are ways the singles
- 29:18Speaker 1: have it better during the holidays. Check it out, junior.
- 29:21Speaker 1: There are no fights waiting to happen, No fights waiting
- 29:25Speaker 1: to happen. Someone's a good thing. Yeah, that's a great thing.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Or break ups? You know what. A lot of people
- 29:31Speaker 1: break up over the holidays. You don't have to worry
- 29:33Speaker 1: about that. Can't break up if you ain't gotten no more. Yeah, okay,
- 29:38Speaker 1: here's another one. You don't have to buy a lot
- 29:40Speaker 1: of gifts. Think about it, you ain't getting none. Okay,
- 29:45Speaker 1: I'm just looking at the bright side of this. There
- 29:47Speaker 1: are no mandatory spouse holiday parties you have to attendin'
- 29:52Speaker 1: got to stow me. You don't have no spells. Okay,
- 29:59Speaker 1: here's the another one. You don't have to choose which
- 30:02Speaker 1: family you're gonna celebrate with. There's always a fight about that,
- 30:05Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, but you need to find somebody's house though.
- 30:10Speaker 1: And then here's a good one. New Year's Eve. You
- 30:12Speaker 1: can go in focusing all on you. Okay, you ever
- 30:17Speaker 1: brought in the New Year's by yourself? When when you do,
- 30:21Speaker 1: when you do blowing that horn, don't nobody here, don't
- 30:26Speaker 1: nobody here. You can focus on just yourself bringing in
- 30:34Speaker 1: the new year. Okay, but you couldn't do that the
- 30:37Speaker 1: year before because you still buy your and we're looking
- 30:42Speaker 1: at the positive sight of being single still that's all. No,
- 30:47Speaker 1: there's no positive side. No, you don't think so you
- 30:49Speaker 1: need to find somebody. I remember the first time we
- 30:51Speaker 1: moved Atlanta. First year, I didn't go home when I
- 30:53Speaker 1: moved Atlanta, all right, when I woke up and there
- 30:56Speaker 1: was nothing, nothing, no food, no no I called home.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I heard all that joy and laughter and getting passed
- 31:05Speaker 1: around on the phone. Ain't fun? Who is that? All
- 31:09Speaker 1: the damn questions I'm coming in? Who is that? Let
- 31:12Speaker 1: me talk to who coming in? What y'all doing it? Now?
- 31:15Speaker 1: Who is that? Who is that? Now? Is that the doubt? What? Baby?
- 31:20Speaker 1: Is that? What y'all look at that? You don't want
- 31:22Speaker 1: to do that? Wow? I like all of that yourself?
- 31:32Speaker 1: You like being by yourself during the holidays. No, Jake, listen, listen, listen, listen.
- 31:38Speaker 1: That's what it sounds. So what that's what I'm talking about? Okay,
- 31:42Speaker 1: Christmas morning is like what at your house? Listen? Let
- 31:45Speaker 1: me listen. Don't you just love that? No? Pots rattlings.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Listen again, you maybe to hit who is that? Joy?
- 31:55Speaker 1: Got to be lonely pots rattling? No, no, no, let
- 32:01Speaker 1: you hear it again. Listen, not a damn that you
- 32:06Speaker 1: love it? No company at all. Come to my house.
- 32:11Speaker 1: You ain't in the neighborhood because I ain't gonna let
- 32:13Speaker 1: you in. You know that, just in the neighborhood. Yeah,
- 32:16Speaker 1: when you outside because you ain't coming in. What is
- 32:19Speaker 1: it in your house? About your house? That's just better? Man,
- 32:27Speaker 1: I don't even I don't desist the Christmas morning. It
- 32:30Speaker 1: just means something. Yeah, beautiful thing introduced miss Anne. I
- 32:35Speaker 1: can't and gentlemen, without further ado, our very own voice
- 32:40Speaker 1: of reason. In fact, miss Anne Trip, thanks so much.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, Thanks Steve. House of Representatives set to
- 32:47Speaker 1: debate and most likely vote and pass two articles of
- 32:50Speaker 1: impeachment today against Donald Trump, making Donald Trump only the
- 32:53Speaker 1: third US president in history to be impeached by the
- 32:56Speaker 1: House of Representatives. Yesterday, the President cent a six page letter,
- 33:00Speaker 1: not a text, to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, blasting House
- 33:03Speaker 1: Democrats for the inquiry, calling it an unprecedented and unconstitutional
- 33:07Speaker 1: abuse of power, a coup, and comparing it to the
- 33:10Speaker 1: Salem witch trials. This has been a total sham from
- 33:14Speaker 1: the beginning. Everybody knows it. I've never seen the Republican
- 33:19Speaker 1: Party so united. Well after today's expected approval of January
- 33:22Speaker 1: dat will be set for an actual impeachment trial in
- 33:25Speaker 1: the GOP dominated Senate, where Senate democratically to Chuck Schumer
- 33:29Speaker 1: says he's ready to call Trump's bluff about his not
- 33:31Speaker 1: being able to call any witnesses, because Schumer says he'd
- 33:34Speaker 1: like to see some President Trump, are you worried about
- 33:37Speaker 1: what these witnesses would say? If you're not worried, let
- 33:40Speaker 1: him come forward, and if you want to worried, we
- 33:43Speaker 1: ought to hear from him. At the same time, though
- 33:45Speaker 1: Senate Republican leader miss McConnell's contradicting Trump's suppose idea dismissing
- 33:50Speaker 1: requests from Democrats for new witnesses and documents, saying that
- 33:53Speaker 1: he will not permit a quote phishing expedition on the
- 33:56Speaker 1: part of the Democrats. Yesterday, though I can say Democrats
- 33:59Speaker 1: are Publicans work together in the US Senate overwhelmingly passing
- 34:03Speaker 1: the National Defense Authorization Bill and by a vote of
- 34:06Speaker 1: eighty six to eight for nearly sixty years in a row,
- 34:09Speaker 1: lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have worked to
- 34:12Speaker 1: repeatedly craft and support this bill. This time, the measure
- 34:15Speaker 1: includes seven hundred and thirty eight billion dollars for the Pentagon,
- 34:19Speaker 1: with Democrats inserting a measure providing paid parental leaf for
- 34:22Speaker 1: federal workers. That's a Democrats got that in. In exchanged
- 34:25Speaker 1: was something that the GOP really wanted. That was Trump's
- 34:28Speaker 1: supposed a space force. Anyway, the House has already passed
- 34:31Speaker 1: the package, so it heads to the President's desk for
- 34:33Speaker 1: his signature. Great news and Florida, Everybody. Those two African
- 34:36Speaker 1: American siblings missing for a day and a half have
- 34:39Speaker 1: been found safe and sound. Search crews found six year
- 34:42Speaker 1: old Braxton Williams and his five year old sister Bria
- 34:44Speaker 1: in a wooded area near there Jackson of Jacksonville home.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Four deaths are now blamed on the dangerous storms ripping
- 34:51Speaker 1: through the South. Dozens were reported on Monday, more formed yesterday.
- 34:56Speaker 1: A flash flood claimed the life one of them. One
- 34:58Speaker 1: life in Kentucky. Tornadoes are being blamed for two days,
- 35:01Speaker 1: two deaths in Alabama and one in Louisiana. At least
- 35:04Speaker 1: fourteen tornadoes twisted their way through Mississippi, causing injuries and
- 35:08Speaker 1: destroying property in several states. Storms are now slamming their
- 35:12Speaker 1: way through Georgia and Florida. Yes, a lot of the
- 35:14Speaker 1: country has a really, really, really bad weather. Finally, today
- 35:17Speaker 1: is National Meet pol Wednesday. That is making me hungry.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 35:26Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, so our resident poets.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Junior in the building, Yeah right now, Oh yeah, poem.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Who's Christmas time? Baby? Yeah? It is Christmas time, and
- 35:43Speaker 1: it's a time that a lot of people break it up,
- 35:46Speaker 1: but they really don't know how to say it to
- 35:47Speaker 1: the other person. So I thought we might want this
- 35:49Speaker 1: fan in Paul. It's the best way to do it.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Just say it in Paul. Here go one right here time.

- 36:51Speaker 1: with you. Yeah, you're getting better relationships like we got
- 36:55Speaker 1: time to argue all night long. Not no, just say this,
- 36:58Speaker 1: the relationship is over because you've been messing with my weed.

- 37:10Speaker 1: ask how you put down there and smoked three branches
- 37:12Speaker 1: off the tree. No, we don't need him. I like this,
- 37:16Speaker 1: but this just would hit me about one thirty in
- 37:18Speaker 1: the morning. It's about one third in the morning. It
- 37:19Speaker 1: came to me, Hideo, you haul may flower or even
- 37:25Speaker 1: two guys and a truck. Their numbers are on the counter,
- 37:28Speaker 1: and I wish you good luck. Merry Christmas. That's my favorite.
- 37:35Speaker 1: That's fit may Christmas just wants you to know. How
- 37:39Speaker 1: about you get for you haul may flower or even
- 37:43Speaker 1: two guys in the truck. Their numbers are on the counter,
- 37:45Speaker 1: and I wish you good luck. Marry Christmas. Yeah, I

- 37:57Speaker 1: Christmas car. I like them. Okay, here we go, all right,

- 38:27Speaker 1: shady who whole hoole Merry Christmas? That is that's how
- 38:35Speaker 1: you break up without eating a lot of words. Yeah
- 38:40Speaker 1: you're listening. All right, guys, it's time for comedy Route Jay.
- 38:49Speaker 1: You want to explain it? Real question, very simple, it's
- 38:52Speaker 1: very simple. Our comedy ability gets tested every week. Tell
- 38:56Speaker 1: you what you do. Give us five subjects. Put them
- 38:59Speaker 1: on a wheel spending when a wheel stop, we'll do
- 39:01Speaker 1: the damn thing and we'll do it fast. All right,
- 39:05Speaker 1: here we go. I got the categories, all right. First one,
- 39:08Speaker 1: I think this eggnog has gone bad. I like that one.
- 39:15Speaker 1: All right, Now that's a thin ass Santa. Next one,
- 39:23Speaker 1: ho ho ho. Yeah. People don't decorate like they used to.
- 39:30Speaker 1: And there's nothing under the tree. Let's go spind the wheel, crystal.
- 39:37Speaker 1: What do you think was on stock? I don't know
- 39:40Speaker 1: which one. People don't decorate like they used to. People
- 39:49Speaker 1: don't they don't decorate decorate. People used to go all
- 39:52Speaker 1: out back in the day. Remember the big hot ass
- 39:55Speaker 1: light bubs they used to put on the tree, the
- 39:57Speaker 1: big one six the waters man, you want to you
- 40:03Speaker 1: don't have to use heat during the one of time.

- 40:17Speaker 1: I remember, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll tell you why they
- 40:21Speaker 1: don't right like you you know, you can go to
- 40:23Speaker 1: the neighborhood and all our houses be lit up, stuff
- 40:27Speaker 1: all into the yard. Who is the lazy person? That
- 40:30Speaker 1: just little bush? Who did that? They just put lights
- 40:34Speaker 1: on the bush, lamb on the ain't no padded tool
- 40:39Speaker 1: and then they go right back in the house like
- 40:41Speaker 1: you're going to clap for this When I remember when
- 40:47Speaker 1: you used to actually get your tree flocked. Remember that. Yeah,
- 40:51Speaker 1: they take the white stuff and spraying on your too.
- 40:54Speaker 1: You took the time to wait to get your tree flocked.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Now they just put a raggedy green tree in the
- 40:59Speaker 1: liver room room and that's it, just sitting. They don't tree.
- 41:05Speaker 1: What happened to them? A little bit in reefs that
- 41:07Speaker 1: they used to hang in the window with the one
- 41:10Speaker 1: candle in the but it was electric and it flickered
- 41:15Speaker 1: and I missed it. We had him in all three
- 41:20Speaker 1: of our windows. Yeah, you got an activity scene in
- 41:23Speaker 1: your living room. But none of the wise man's got
- 41:26Speaker 1: hands because it didn't broke all. But you don't care.
- 41:29Speaker 1: They can. But ain't none of the stat no hands

- 41:40Speaker 1: the house for Christmas. You're going over there and you're
- 41:42Speaker 1: looking at the Christmas tree and you can see the
- 41:45Speaker 1: metal pole in the middle. Why why y'all didn't put
- 41:49Speaker 1: all the pieces out of them tree? Here? Looking, I
- 41:54Speaker 1: can see the tree is so dry. Ain't he got
- 41:58Speaker 1: no water? What is going over? I put the trifling
- 42:03Speaker 1: Christmas Christmas? I don't little bristles that you the lights
- 42:12Speaker 1: is weighing down ranches, wear out the silver sickles, little
- 42:19Speaker 1: pencils we used to throw all over the tree and
- 42:21Speaker 1: making yeah, and you take them out one at the
- 42:24Speaker 1: time and put them back in the box. Last one.
- 42:33Speaker 1: People don't remember the Nativity scene that used to get
- 42:36Speaker 1: put outside in the yard. Yes, but every time you
- 42:41Speaker 1: passed by a hood Nativity scene you had to explain
- 42:45Speaker 1: it to the kids because items was always missing. First
- 42:54Speaker 1: of all, the wise men walked because we didn't have
- 42:58Speaker 1: the money for the camera. Secondly, we couldn't use a
- 43:03Speaker 1: baby Jesus this year caused Belinda wanted a cabbage patch dial,
- 43:07Speaker 1: So that's in the box. Fun up May the Mary
- 43:11Speaker 1: and Joseph is two pitchers of Deacon Patterson and Sister Porter.
- 43:25Speaker 1: All right, people don't decorate like they used to. It
- 43:28Speaker 1: ain't no hay in the main jil. It's just looking
- 43:31Speaker 1: like burlap sat. No, we don't have money for the
- 43:35Speaker 1: Hey Frank call coming up next you're listening, coming up
- 43:41Speaker 1: at the time of the hour, right about four minutes

- 44:29Speaker 1: the main line, but there ain't nobody answering. I don't
- 44:32Speaker 1: call that about six seven times. They keep rolling over
- 44:34Speaker 1: to it like to a voicemail or okay, okay, okay, brother,
- 44:37Speaker 1: what's your name? Monday? Tony? Okay, listen, Tony, I got

- 48:15Speaker 1: blow your brains out. I ain't really trying to hear
- 48:18Speaker 1: all this lay here. What I'm trying to do is

- 48:46Speaker 1: Are you gonna be preaching the mate out? Because I've
- 48:48Speaker 1: been that man. That's what I'm driving a limo because
- 48:51Speaker 1: I've been that young brother. I'm trying to keep you
- 48:53Speaker 1: from going that because you won't like it. Look at Tony,
- 48:56Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you at this point.
- 48:57Speaker 1: First of all, I'm not doing it, so you can
- 48:59Speaker 1: cut that out. Okay. Now I'm thinking of you and
- 49:02Speaker 1: all the other young brothers to do this thumb you

- 49:18Speaker 1: they wanted to fed me gubage that I had to
- 49:21Speaker 1: eat or die. You ain't ready for that man. You
- 49:23Speaker 1: ain't ready for what. I think he got your land.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Your brothers don't know what's going on out here. You
- 49:28Speaker 1: got it too easy. See now you're talking about going down.
- 49:30Speaker 1: They robbing the bank. You ain't no bank robber. You
- 49:32Speaker 1: don't sound like no thud goal real a remo. The
- 49:35Speaker 1: way you're going, you ain't making nothing because they will
- 49:37Speaker 1: blow your young I want about their paper. You don't
- 49:40Speaker 1: understand that, And you show you ready for no jail,
- 49:43Speaker 1: cause I say one more thing to you that yeah,
- 49:46Speaker 1: what is it? All I want to do is tell
- 49:47Speaker 1: you it is that I'm nephew Tommy from the Steve
- 49:50Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. And you're going card. They don't got

- 50:14Speaker 1: Your boy the other another driver. Cordelle got me the

- 50:46Speaker 1: done some time in that been that man, Come down, baby,

- 50:53Speaker 1: what's the baddest radio show in the lad I want

- 51:32Speaker 1: Listen to them. I can't do nothing for I'm calling long.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I can see that dude sitting on the edge of
- 51:39Speaker 1: bed in this draw trying to help. He just sing
- 51:45Speaker 1: right there with the this is right there with shut
- 51:47Speaker 1: tell him to shut up. See yeah, shut your damn
- 51:51Speaker 1: you get your ass all right thinking that. Listen to this.
- 52:02Speaker 1: According to a new study, men who consume too much sugar,
- 52:06Speaker 1: especially from sweet drinks and snacks, are twenty three percent
- 52:11Speaker 1: more likely to develop depression or anxiety. The researchers also
- 52:16Speaker 1: found that women are not at all affected in this
- 52:19Speaker 1: way by overdosing on sugar. But I really, I really
- 52:22Speaker 1: have cutback on sugar. I'm ongar, but that does not
- 52:26Speaker 1: mean no, I'm a diabetic. I have to, but they're
- 52:28Speaker 1: diabetics to eat a lot of sugar. But I'm not.
- 52:30Speaker 1: I'm not a sugar dad. I'm a splendid that. That's
- 52:35Speaker 1: a sugar daddy with diabetes. A young girls out there
- 52:46Speaker 1: and splendid daddy. All right, Coming up next, the Strawberry Letter.

- 53:14Speaker 1: com and click submit Strawberry Letter. Buckle up, hold on tight.
- 53:21Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the straw
- 53:24Speaker 1: Berry Letter. Woo. Subject he cursed his own mama out.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I prayed and asked God to send
- 53:31Speaker 1: me a great man. It took ten long years, but
- 53:35Speaker 1: my prayers were answered and I got an amazing man.
- 53:38Speaker 1: We're getting married this month. But there's just one problem.
- 53:42Speaker 1: I was taught that you should watch how a man
- 53:44Speaker 1: loves and treats his mother because it will show you
- 53:47Speaker 1: what kind of man he is. Well. I recently learned
- 53:50Speaker 1: that my fiance does not respect his mother at all.
- 53:54Speaker 1: We traveled to Maryland to visit his mom, and it
- 53:56Speaker 1: was the worst visit ever. His mother was drinking Hennessee
- 54:00Speaker 1: from the time we got there still three days later
- 54:03Speaker 1: when she kicked me out of the house. Yes, she
- 54:07Speaker 1: kicked me out. When we first got there. She complained
- 54:10Speaker 1: that I was on my cell phone too much because
- 54:12Speaker 1: I was letting my family know we had made it safely.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Then she fussed about me taking a shower at night
- 54:18Speaker 1: and in the morning she told me she told me
- 54:23Speaker 1: to ask permission to take additional baths in her house.
- 54:27Speaker 1: By the third day, she went off of me for
- 54:29Speaker 1: watching a live stream of my church service back home
- 54:32Speaker 1: because we missed church that day. She yelled for me
- 54:35Speaker 1: to turn that mess off or get out of her house.
- 54:38Speaker 1: That was the final straw for my fiance. He lost
- 54:42Speaker 1: it and went off on his mother, calling her an old, hateful,
- 54:46Speaker 1: drunk bee. I was in shock and told him that
- 54:50Speaker 1: was uncalled for. He was very angry and told me
- 54:53Speaker 1: to get my things so we could leave. I told
- 54:55Speaker 1: him that he was wrong. He said that his mother
- 54:58Speaker 1: was wrong. We left and that was it. He hasn't
- 55:01Speaker 1: spoken to his mom and over a month now, I'm
- 55:03Speaker 1: wondering if this is some kind of character flaw he has.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Will he treat me the same way once we're married
- 55:09Speaker 1: or was he just protecting me? Well, this is definitely
- 55:15Speaker 1: the opposite of a mama's boy, okay, because you know,
- 55:19Speaker 1: when you when you know, I've heard a lot of
- 55:21Speaker 1: women say that that you watch how a man treats
- 55:24Speaker 1: his mom and then that'll tell you, you know, if
- 55:26Speaker 1: he'll treat you that way. Well, sometimes that works the opposite.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Sometimes they become mama's boys. But this is definitely not
- 55:33Speaker 1: the case. But to answer your question, I do think
- 55:36Speaker 1: perhaps he was trying to be protective of you, however
- 55:40Speaker 1: crazy way he did it. He was disgusted in his
- 55:44Speaker 1: mom's behavior and he showed it. His mother is obviously
- 55:47Speaker 1: an alcoholic and their relationship is in a very blad
- 55:51Speaker 1: place because of it. Now, having said that, I do
- 55:54Speaker 1: agree with you calling her a drunk bee is out
- 55:56Speaker 1: of line, That is uncalled for. I don't think it
- 55:59Speaker 1: was any need for him to be so disrespectful to
- 56:02Speaker 1: her or to her in front of you, and yes,
- 56:04Speaker 1: he just might have some residual issues going on as
- 56:08Speaker 1: a result of her alcoholism being around that, So, you
- 56:13Speaker 1: know what, I would just maybe, you know, make sure
- 56:18Speaker 1: that he's okay, get some counseling. I don't know if
- 56:21Speaker 1: you guys have considered marriage counseling or not, but if
- 56:24Speaker 1: he does have issues, they probably will come out during
- 56:28Speaker 1: the marriage, So I definitely suggest some counseling. I know
- 56:31Speaker 1: you're getting married soon, but I wouldn't go into it
- 56:34Speaker 1: without getting some counseling. Steve me personally, I don't think
- 56:39Speaker 1: you have anything to worry about at all, because I'm
- 56:42Speaker 1: gonna tell you why I feel this way. I have
- 56:45Speaker 1: no jokes for this letter. I have something to say
- 56:47Speaker 1: about this letter. And this is not because of my
- 56:50Speaker 1: own mother, because I had what I thought was the
- 56:52Speaker 1: greatest mom in the world, as do most people feel
- 56:54Speaker 1: that way about their mother. So this is not from
- 56:58Speaker 1: an experience, but I've watched it from a distance on
- 57:00Speaker 1: several people. Everybody don't get a great mother as great
- 57:08Speaker 1: as your mother may have been. Everybody ain't that fortunate.
- 57:14Speaker 1: It's mothers that give away babies. It's mother's that's own
- 57:18Speaker 1: drugs while they're pregnant. It's mother's that neglect children. It's
- 57:25Speaker 1: mother's that abuse children. Everybody don't get a great mother.
- 57:31Speaker 1: This boy don't have a great mother. Now, let me
- 57:35Speaker 1: tell you what happened here. Like most boys wanting a
- 57:38Speaker 1: relationship with their mother, most boys will go, hey, listen,
- 57:43Speaker 1: I met the girl in my dreams. Man, I'm gonna
- 57:45Speaker 1: take her to meet my mama. Every boy won't say
- 57:48Speaker 1: mother's approval of the girl that they're gonna marry. I'm
- 57:52Speaker 1: every dude, I know, man, he just won'ts that approval. Mama.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Look what I got, Mama, what you think? So this
- 57:57Speaker 1: boyd and drugged his new fiance to meet his mama.
- 58:01Speaker 1: And you and you, you know, you know, you know what.
- 58:03Speaker 1: You're pretty good. You're watching services at home, multiple baths,
- 58:07Speaker 1: you all you're good? Yea in the morning and at night. Yeah,
- 58:11Speaker 1: now this is crazy. He ain't having it at her house.
- 58:14Speaker 1: You gotta ask first. But she drunk. Now, she'd been
- 58:17Speaker 1: drinking hennessy. Hey from the time that this is not
- 58:21Speaker 1: to drink. You want to drink. From time you get
- 58:23Speaker 1: that to you leave. So now he didn't got frustrated
- 58:29Speaker 1: because he didn't bought the girl of his dreams to
- 58:33Speaker 1: meet his mother, and she did her usual because this
- 58:39Speaker 1: ain't the first time. She didn't disappointed this point showed up.
- 58:44Speaker 1: See he ain't just fired off on the one time.
- 58:46Speaker 1: This has been a build up in this young guy.
- 58:50Speaker 1: And now here she is. See what you don't know, baby,
- 58:53Speaker 1: is she might have missed the graduation, showed out at
- 58:56Speaker 1: a graduation. She didn't clowned him, and then asked him
- 59:00Speaker 1: at the family unions before she making to the games
- 59:04Speaker 1: because she was drinking. She didn't make a pay teacher
- 59:07Speaker 1: meeting on time when she's poke to because she was drinking.
- 59:11Speaker 1: She can't call down that message, little job. She forgot
- 59:15Speaker 1: to give a message to him one time when the
- 59:17Speaker 1: boss called the house. You don't know what distance stacked up.
- 59:21Speaker 1: He ain't fired off on his mama for one time.
- 59:25Speaker 1: This woman has disappointed this young man over and over
- 59:30Speaker 1: and over and over. And your visit was the last stroke,
- 59:36Speaker 1: the last strong. I hadn't had enough for you. Every
- 59:41Speaker 1: time I try to get your approval, every time I
- 59:44Speaker 1: bring something around you, every time I need you to
- 59:47Speaker 1: be proud of me, you pull this on me. All right,
- 59:50Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:52Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour you're listening, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: it's got part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: He cursed his own mama out. See. Now, this girl
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: is worried about this because she was raised to think
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: that you gotta watch how a man treat his mama
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: and then to tell you everything you need to know.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Normally that's true. But now listen to me. Like I
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: said in the beginning, everybody don't get a great mother. Neglect, abuse, drugs, drinking.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Everybody don't get a perfect mother. Most of us are fortunate,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: but there are those who are not. So Now, he
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: didn't got the imperfect mama. Now, he didn't bought the
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: girl of his dreams over the show off like most
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: boys do, most young men. Most mama, look what I
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: got this hut. I picked up boys. She's so pretty, lord,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: she just as sweet and oh man, thank you cool.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I was sure hoping you say that. Now either took
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: over that and she just she just fired off on
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: this girl. Three days later, you get kicked out the house.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: You know, we first got there, she complained, I was
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: on my cell phone too much because I was letting
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: your family know we had made it safely. Then she
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: first brought me taking a shower at night, and in
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the morning she told me to ask permission to take
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: additional baths in her house. What is an additional bath?
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I thought you could take as many baths as you
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: want additional, but it's a new day. By the third day,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: she went off on me for watching the live stream
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: of my church service back home because we missed church
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: that day. She yelled at me to turn that mess
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: off and get out of her house. That was the
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: final straw for my fiance. He lost. He went off
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: on his mother, calling her old, hateful, drunk b I
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: was in shock and told him that was uncalled for.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: He was very angry and told me to get my
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: thing so we could leave. I told him he was wrong.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: He said his mother was wrong. We left it at that.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: He ain't spoke to his mom and over a month now,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I'm wanting to do some kind of character flaw he had.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Now his character flaw is his mother, because she's disappointed
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: this dude many times. This ain't the first time you old, drunk,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: hateful be is build up from all the other times.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: He wanted to say it, but he wasn't man enough.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: And now calling your mom out a name don't make
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: you a man. That's not what I'm saying. But he
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: would he hadn't gotten to that point. See, you don't
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: know about the graduation she missed, or the game she missed,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: or the parent teachers things she never went to, or
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the PTA meeting he couldn't be in cubs. Guys, he
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: had to come out of football because she kept missing rehearsals, practicing.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Don't you don't know what to build up in This
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: boy had been disappointed a woman many times. This ain't
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the first time. Now on the day of days when
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: he really wanted to show her off man, because every
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: dude wanna take his mama. He bring up there and
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: this is what she do, This is what she'd do.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Everybody don't get to have a good mama. So no,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I think you have met a great man, and don't
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: judge him for that. Everybody make mistakes that he can
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: called his mom and apologize for calling out a name
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: because that's wrong. You're gonna do that to your mama.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: But after that, his mother was wrong. Who makes a
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: person get out of the house to take it too bad?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Who don't want her son man a woman that watched
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: church on TV? What drunk mama? What is you crazy?
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Get your stuff? We leave? All right, Steve, we gotta
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: go out here. Email at your Instagram? Who isn't Who
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: is in that saying church music? So you got sitting
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: here running extra hot water and I'm saying the church.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: So because you lost your month, drunk mama, you're talking
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: to your phone to your people talk. You made it.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Oh you get your little cute clean ass out of here,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: cute clean clishing up in him. We won't dirty broke down?

- 1:04:54Speaker 1: what I think you said. Keyword, because the truth about
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: it is, we don't give a damn about the thought

- 1:05:37Speaker 1: care about a rope. Our boys, roll a beautiful ro
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: We open this box up again and see a role. Okay, take,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: we're not putting it out. We don't care about roll slipper.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Excuse me. There's an exception. But well, I ain't experienced that.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I'm just gonna talk about what I want that. Okay,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna look into that. I ain't there yet, but
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I know the dudes I'll be dealing it with. We

- 1:06:14Speaker 1: to turn cloth that one that looks like a tie
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: like burn your neck up, so as you put it on, Steve,

- 1:06:30Speaker 1: your booty. I got that one pocket, one pocket, my
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: two pockets one and and the belt on the road.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: The same thickness as the road to the collar and built.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: There's a lighter color than the roads. No road. We
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: don't want. None of that. We don't want. We need
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: to show our boys. That's all that is true. We
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: won't gills that said dude, man, my girl, man, Amen,

- 1:07:19Speaker 1: here's a question. What would someone learn about you by
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: looking through your phone? Your name sticks out and this nephew,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: So what do you say? We swap phones and then
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: we discuss what they found in each other's phone. Who
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: wrote this a great story for Shirley? No, this ain't
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: no great story. This evening the people can y'all trying
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: to break up a happy home? Give me your phone, nephew.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: How much would someone know about you just by looking
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: through your phone? That's a question for you. What's the
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: first thing they realize about you that? I like a
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: lot of stuff naked when people, when people are called,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: they picture pop up naked. It's a lot of neck
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: it go on over here. So that if you just
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: want to know without looking naked? Nah, who else you
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: need to know? Steve, Well, to be honest with you,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: you would see a lot of motivational stuff, Okay, dreams,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: aspirational stuff, inspirational stuff, motivational stuff. You really would I
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: really wouldn't. I wouldn't have a problem for a person.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Solve my phone? Okay ten years ago, Steve, you couldn't
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: touch this damn phone. Twelve years get your hands slept
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: with dunk. Take to my thigh. Oh that's faithful, duck.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: You know it's bad when you got your phone in
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the shower with you in a ziplock? Man, Wow, too much.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Nobody got to do all that to have the phone
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: back then, Sherley, Remember I'd had my phones on the
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: desk at I had three, yes, three phone three three,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: and we're too much going on back in? What am
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I gonna find out about you? And here? If I
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: get your phone, oh I got I know a lot
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: of single one, a lot of phone numbers in this phone.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I'm tell you that right. He called a lot of
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: y'all coming through, and I don't know if I watched
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: me up, I did get one. I'll be doing you
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: coming through the nig I'm not gonna make it okay,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: can you? Hey? How're you doing to day? You come
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: it through that now? I'm busy right. In fact, it's
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: like talking to You're gonna see a lot of low
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: light videos, very low the light. The light is really
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you're not gonna be able to make out what's really
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: going on now. The sound is great, you're gonna be
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: able to hear. Oh my knee can't go like that.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: You're not gonna be able to see because the light
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: is very low. The lighted, it's almost no light. But
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: you know what, sometimes I record, I just go for sound.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I mean, I just won't sound. I don't really need visual,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: you know, just to recapture that moment in the audio,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. But the light is real
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: low on a lot of my videos like I think
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I see somebody what I don't know what? What hell is?
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: That is? That? So? What? What the hell? World? But
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: God who just walked by? Just what? All right? All right?

- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Old Michael Jackson? I saw Mommy Kiss and Santa Claus?
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Can you sing it? White Christmas Um, the one from
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Charlie Brown Christmas the Christmas Tree? Or No, that's not it?

- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Junior in the building, Yeah right now? Oh yeah. What's
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Christmas time? Baby? Yeah? It is Christmas time, and it's
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: a time that a lot of people break it up,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: but they really don't know how to say it to
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: the other person. So I thought we might were just
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: standing pool. It's the best way to do it. Just
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: say it in poem, here't go one right here time
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: he's all Christmas break up poem. That's all the here
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: we go mistletoe, mistletoe, it is where we wants kissed,

- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Was a lot of times, ain't got a waste a
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: lot of time saying just like that, missing toe, missing
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: toad is where we wants kissed, become this Christmas. These
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: lists you go miss and that ain't all merry Christmas?
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Not getting better? Yeabody down he got another one time
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: he got another one. Frosty, frosty, like your attitude has
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: been But when you try your key to night, it
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: won't let you win. Merry Christmas. Breast with you. Yeah,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you're getting betters that we got time to argue all
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: night long. No, no, just say this. The relationship is
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: over because you've been messing with my wied. You even
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: smoked three bridges off my Christmas tree. You got to
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: go merry Christmas smoke the tree. Yeah, y'all ask how
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: you put down there and smoke three branches off the tree. No,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: we don't need I like this, but this is different.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Hit me about one thirty in the morning. About one
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: third in the morning, came to me, you haul may
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Flower or even two guys and a truck. Their numbers
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: are on the counter, and I wish you good luck.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: Marry Christmas. That's my favorite many Christmas wants you to know.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: How about you get for you haul may flower or
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: even two guys in the truck. Their numbers are on
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: the counter, and I wish you good luck Marry Christmas. Yeah,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I think I might do that shirt just a break
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: up Christmas call. I like them. Okay, here we go,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: all right, towards the night before Christmas, please try to
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: be gone because I'm getting my life together and I'm
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: moving on. Babu bye. Merry Christmas. Got hit it with
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: the Merry Christma said Merry Christmas. Yeah, yeah, pig gonna
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: lands when I wrote this? Is it? Said the gingerbread
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: man to the gingerbread lady. This relationship is over because
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: you've been asked, shady, who ho hole Merry Christmas? Steadies,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: that's how you break up. What I eat A lot
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: of words pressed? All right, coming up our last break
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: of the day, and uh, Steve an interesting email that
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: you're gonna like, uh, right after this at forty nine
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: minutes after you're listening to all right, Steve, we're ready
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: for the closing remarks. This is for everybody, including myself.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: This is for anyone who aspires to get more, or
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: to have more, to be blessed more, to acquire more.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: How do you want to look at it, Here's a deal.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: All of our lives, we live our lives in bubbles,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: so to speak. This is just an analogy everybody. We
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: all live our lives in the bubbles. And what I
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: mean by our bubble is not a negative thing. Instead,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I'm saying, this is the space that we operate in.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: This is the gym we go to. This is the
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Starbucks that we like. This is the church that we
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: like to go to. These are some of our favorite
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: restaurants we like to frequent. This is where we go
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: with relations of our relatives and all of this. These
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: is our clubs we go to for drinks and stuff
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: like that. This is the school we attend. This is
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: where we got a gym membership. This is where we
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: socialize and live. That's what I mean by bubble. Now
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: here's the deal. If you want more, then what's in
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: your bubble. Then what you have to do is put
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: more air in your bubble. It don't bust, it expands,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: but you got to breathe more air into it. How

- 1:18:57Speaker 1: same old Starbucks, the same old restaurant, the same old club,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: the same old gym. You've got to breathe some air
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: into that bubble. Expand your bubble. I'm talking to myself.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: As good as a bubble as I have, I would
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: like to be able to do some other things. Believe
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: it or not, there's limitations to what I can do.

- 1:19:39Speaker 1: including myself. I got to breathe more and to the bubble.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: The bubble is yours to control. That's the beauty of it.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: You have a say so in what what size bubble
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you got. You ain't got to keep going to the
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: same star books. You can try to want somewhere else
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: you can expand your bubble. You ain't. It's got to

- 1:20:15Speaker 1: when you're hearing the same thing when it ain't working
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: for you. You ain't got to go to the same
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: happy hour. You ain't met nobody over there since you've
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: been going, but since it's the happy hour closest to
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the house and it's convenient, you keep going. You ain't
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: met nobody, You ain't network, ain't passed out of business, called,
