  Speaker 1: what he what he really does is kind of come

  Speaker 1: in and you know, just when Mary Jane thinks she

  Speaker 1: you know, just about to like kind of, you know,

  Speaker 1: start this great new life, someone from her past that um,

  Speaker 1: you know, had somewhat made her miserable, UM shows up

  Speaker 1: to try and throw a big monkey wrench in her

  Speaker 1: that's gonna be interesting. Well, one thing about all your characters, man,

  Speaker 1: play a role that was not extremely believable. Yeah, even

  Speaker 1: I never looked at easy this way before, but this

  Speaker 1: what's that like to work with your friends in a

  Speaker 1: I saw at a wedding and she was like you know,

  Speaker 1: she and we started talking talking about it, and you

  Speaker 1: know that's when I realized, you know, yeah, this would

  Speaker 1: be this would be great actually because we've never really

  Speaker 1: worked together. Even though we've been in the same projects,

  Speaker 1: we've never really worked together. So, um, you know, it

  Speaker 1: was an opportunity for us to kind of kind of
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: work together. And Gabrielle and I, you know, we talked
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: for years about certain issues that affect you know, what's
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: going on culturally and such. So it was an opportunity
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: to kind of work together. And if you you know,
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: anybody that knows Gabrielle knows that she has opinions, she
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: has thought and she will let you know them. She
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: way that you will be like damn, all right, I
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: got you, okay, And so, you know, like working with her,
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: it's like, what's what's fantastic is what's happening off screen.

  Speaker 1: and the conversations that we have about about what's going on.

  Speaker 1: And you know, when I started working on this, you

  Speaker 1: of her insight, as you know, with regards to you know,

  Speaker 1: birth to the nation and everything else, and so it was.

  Speaker 1: It was very interesting and also at the same time

  Speaker 1: very fun, because that is how God lives are, like fun. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: you've got a lot going on, man, How are you

  Speaker 1: balancing all this? You? You you your father again, yes,

  Speaker 1: congratulating married, you welcome your second child late last year.

  Speaker 1: How are you balancing this career, this fatherhood. Man, It's

  Speaker 1: it's been it's been rough, you know what I mean.

  Speaker 1: I think, Um, you know, like I left, I left
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: to go shoot the show, and I was going back
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: and forth between Atlanta and l A because I told him,

  Speaker 1: I just I don't want to leave my family right now.

  Speaker 1: It's just it's just not a good time for me
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: to leave. So fortunately they were able to work it
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: out so I could go back and forth and um,
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: you know, um my daughter, Um is just I mean,
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: I'm you know, I don't have words. I don't have
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: words more. It's uh, you know, she just when she smiles,

  Speaker 1: I just I feel like I gotta I gotta protect

  Speaker 1: that to the best of my Yeah. Yeah, we talked

  Speaker 1: about that. Yeah, yeah, we did. We did the long

  Speaker 1: term commitment, you know, long commitments, and I just I

  Speaker 1: prayed for the time to watch her grow up playful. Well, yeah,

  Speaker 1: it's coming. Um, it's gonna involve several death threats, like

  Speaker 1: we talked about. Go ahead, put a couple of boys

  Speaker 1: gun up under somebody's check and then it's gonna come

  Speaker 1: a point in the life here was really good about parenthood,

  Speaker 1: like like okay, like now you're torn because you don't

  Speaker 1: want to leave your family right now, It's gonna come

  Speaker 1: you want to leave. I cut the lights out in

  Speaker 1: my office when they walk in the house so they

  Speaker 1: all that's coming to Yeah. Yeah, it's a complete turnaround, man,

  Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna milk all the time my hand

  Speaker 1: while they're obsessed with me because they don't want to

  Speaker 1: spend time with me. I can have that attitude. I

  Speaker 1: don't want to spend time with you. I was glad

  Speaker 1: my friends got friends hey with cause so I can

  Speaker 1: quit dropping them off. I think it's great. Hey man, uh,

  Speaker 1: this is a fabulous guy. This is a fabulous show.

  Speaker 1: cast members and that the storyline is great. Being Mary
