- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby, uh huh, I shall will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now? Wanting only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Ain't God been good to me? But then again,
- 2:14Speaker 1: ain't he been good to you too? Though? I mean, really, man,
- 2:17Speaker 1: think of all the blessings God has given you, you
- 2:20Speaker 1: know what. That's some good news today, though, y'all. In
- 2:24Speaker 1: the face of all the world being the way it is,
- 2:27Speaker 1: the evilness that's out there, it just it just seems
- 2:30Speaker 1: like that's all that's on the news sometimes. You know,
- 2:32Speaker 1: we got we got news of parents not really standing
- 2:36Speaker 1: up being parents. We got news stories of children turning
- 2:39Speaker 1: on their parents. You got, you got everything, the economy,
- 2:42Speaker 1: you got places you thought you uhould be beautiful places
- 2:46Speaker 1: to go. Now they got travel alerts. It's just it's
- 2:49Speaker 1: all over it's it's all over. But the good news
- 2:53Speaker 1: is that's something that you can have in this relationship
- 2:59Speaker 1: with God that gives you a way to deal with
- 3:03Speaker 1: it all. And I'm not saying that it'll protect you
- 3:07Speaker 1: from every single thing out that is happening, because some
- 3:10Speaker 1: things are going to happen to you. You're going to
- 3:13Speaker 1: be in an accident from time to time. You're going
- 3:16Speaker 1: to make a mistake and fall down from time to time.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But man, wouldn't it be incredible to you for you
- 3:23Speaker 1: if you understood that you had some insurance in all
- 3:26Speaker 1: of this that no matter what happened to you, you
- 3:30Speaker 1: know you will cover it. You know, Look, insurance companies,
- 3:33Speaker 1: as good as they are, you know, like our friends
- 3:35Speaker 1: and Stay Farm or any other insurance company you know
- 3:39Speaker 1: they do, they do some amazing things. Insurance is a
- 3:42Speaker 1: really really good thing to happen in the event that
- 3:44Speaker 1: something happens to you. You know, you may not want
- 3:47Speaker 1: to pay the premium, but guess what in the event
- 3:49Speaker 1: that something happens to you, that insurance is absolutely critical. Well,
- 3:55Speaker 1: but guess what they cover certain things. You could get
- 3:58Speaker 1: life insurance, you can get auto insurance, you can get
- 4:01Speaker 1: accident insurance. You can get health insurance. There is nothing
- 4:06Speaker 1: that you can buy to safeguard you against life's decisions.
- 4:13Speaker 1: You know, if you make a mistake, if you cheat,
- 4:18Speaker 1: if you lie, if you if you fall down and
- 4:22Speaker 1: you can't seem to get it together, and you make
- 4:25Speaker 1: a crazy decision about how you're gonna go about securing
- 4:28Speaker 1: an income, that there are There are no policies you
- 4:31Speaker 1: can buy for that. You can't buy a policy if
- 4:36Speaker 1: you stop being the man you're supposed to be, and
- 4:39Speaker 1: and and give up on your children. You can't buy
- 4:42Speaker 1: a policy if something happens as a mother and all
- 4:46Speaker 1: of a sudden you're not the mother you're supposed to be.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But there is some insurance coverage out there for you.
- 4:53Speaker 1: And that relationship that you form with God, that friendship
- 4:57Speaker 1: that you form with him, that that alliance that you
- 5:01Speaker 1: that that partnership, that that prayer that you put in
- 5:05Speaker 1: all the time, there is an insurance policy that you
- 5:10Speaker 1: have taken out when you form a relationship with your
- 5:13Speaker 1: heavenly Father, when you form a friendship, when you form
- 5:17Speaker 1: a bond that protects you, that protects you when these
- 5:22Speaker 1: things happen in the event that they happen. Now here's
- 5:26Speaker 1: a great thing about prayer. Prayer can head off some
- 5:29Speaker 1: stuff from happening. It really really can. Prayer can prevent
- 5:34Speaker 1: some things from happening. You know, I'll give you an
- 5:36Speaker 1: example in my life. Okay, here we go, because sec
- 5:40Speaker 1: is the best way for me to do it, because see,
- 5:42Speaker 1: what I don't like to do is talk to people
- 5:44Speaker 1: without letting them know. Hey, look I'm in this hole
- 5:47Speaker 1: with you. I feel where yet? Okay, here we go.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I was making some decisions a few years ago because
- 5:56Speaker 1: what I thought I was doing was counterbalancing something that
- 5:59Speaker 1: was happen then in my life. You know, I thought
- 6:02Speaker 1: that since I wasn't happy, or for whatever the reason
- 6:08Speaker 1: I thought I wasn't happy, if I, as wrong as
- 6:11Speaker 1: I am, wanted to blame somebody else from my unhappiness,
- 6:14Speaker 1: that's that's really If if I make a bad decision
- 6:18Speaker 1: because I'm thinking I'm unhappy with somebody, hold a partner.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Two wrongs don't make it right, and I make a
- 6:24Speaker 1: decision to do something wrong, and now the consequences come
- 6:29Speaker 1: when I do something wrong. See then that I already know,
- 6:33Speaker 1: as an intelligent thinking man, as most of you are,
- 6:37Speaker 1: that when you do something wrong, that you know, there
- 6:41Speaker 1: is a consequence for that. I teach that to my
- 6:43Speaker 1: son's When you do something wrong, there as a consequence.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So as an adult, I fully understood the consequence. And
- 6:50Speaker 1: so what I was doing was I was making some
- 6:51Speaker 1: decisions that was causing some consequences in my life, that
- 6:56Speaker 1: was delaying my happiness, delaying my progress, causing my business
- 7:01Speaker 1: not to go the way it could go, so forth
- 7:04Speaker 1: and so on. Well, what I started doing was I
- 7:07Speaker 1: took out this insurance policy called Prayer, and I started
- 7:11Speaker 1: putting it in my mix on a daily basis. And
- 7:13Speaker 1: then I started putting it in my mix, you know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: two three times a day. And then I found myself
- 7:18Speaker 1: using it all the time. And then I really started
- 7:21Speaker 1: putting it in when I didn't need any help, when
- 7:24Speaker 1: I wasn't in trouble, I started putting insurance in. I
- 7:27Speaker 1: started making deposits into the bank. I started paying my
- 7:31Speaker 1: premiums down. And Prayer is like a premium, you just
- 7:34Speaker 1: pay into it. Then when situations started coming up, now
- 7:40Speaker 1: that prayer that I had put in, that in those
- 7:43Speaker 1: premiums I had paid it started preventing me from making
- 7:46Speaker 1: the decisions I was making in the past. Thus, I
- 7:50Speaker 1: didn't have to suffer the consequences. Thus my businesses didn't
- 7:54Speaker 1: have to be delayed in this progress. Because I had
- 7:57Speaker 1: put some payments on some premiums. I taken out an
- 8:01Speaker 1: insurance policy with my life, my real life. I'm talking
- 8:05Speaker 1: about your life where you make your day to day
- 8:08Speaker 1: decisions in I'm not talking about see life. Insurance is
- 8:11Speaker 1: only good if you die. God has a policy that's avasable,
- 8:16Speaker 1: that's available for you. Why are you living? See? In
- 8:21Speaker 1: order for an insurance policy to pay, something bad got
- 8:23Speaker 1: to happen. Now. There may be some others out there
- 8:26Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about, but all the ones I
- 8:29Speaker 1: got my car insurance, they only come into play if
- 8:33Speaker 1: I have an accident. I have an accident insurance policy
- 8:36Speaker 1: where if something happens to me, I got accident, I got,
- 8:40Speaker 1: I got My voice is covered in case something happened
- 8:43Speaker 1: to that. I got that, But but I got to
- 8:45Speaker 1: not be able to talk to cash that one. You
- 8:48Speaker 1: understand everything I got homeowners insurance. Don't nothing show up
- 8:53Speaker 1: on my homeowners insurance unless it's a flood or fire
- 8:58Speaker 1: of fail. Something bad to happen for my insurance to
- 9:02Speaker 1: even make sense. When you take out the policy with you,
- 9:06Speaker 1: with your heavenly father, when you pay the premiums of prayer,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and that's all it costs. Man, It ain't you. Ain't
- 9:13Speaker 1: got to have no money for this policy I put
- 9:16Speaker 1: into the policy. It pays me dividends and benefits for living.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Ain't nothing got to go wrong for me to cash
- 9:27Speaker 1: in on this policy. I use this policy for good things.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I give you an example. I use this policy to
- 9:37Speaker 1: ask God to watch over my family when I travel.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Make the decisions to pay your premiums in prayer, talk
- 9:44Speaker 1: to your heavenly father, get you some insurance in your life.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And when you have little things like that, keep on stepping. Man.
- 9:51Speaker 1: God loves you. Man, Man, I show hope you talk
- 9:53Speaker 1: to God to day because guess what he show would
- 9:56Speaker 1: like to hear from you. That's for Shell. You're listening
- 10:00Speaker 1: Morning show ladies and gentlemen. It is upon us to

- 12:57Speaker 1: How bad is it? I really don't know. I'm never there.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I heard it in the other room. It sounds ferocious
- 13:06Speaker 1: because I won't never open the door to see how
- 13:08Speaker 1: serious it is. Well, how bad is it? Well? She
- 13:13Speaker 1: sucked the bath til down her throat one night, down choked.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I had to pull it out. But other than that,
- 13:19Speaker 1: she finds hell deal whip it? She powerful? Well, dog,
- 13:25Speaker 1: how bad is it? Well? I bought some sheets that
- 13:29Speaker 1: wasn't fitted me. She damned it choked on them one night,
- 13:32Speaker 1: and to make sure we buy feet and sheet. We're

- 14:17Speaker 1: Pump your brakes, mama. Okay, everybody, pumped your brains mama, Mama,
- 14:26Speaker 1: get your mama. All right, here we go, cat dog,
- 14:30Speaker 1: pump your Brakes Mama. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Natalie. Please. Yeah, Natalie, Natalie,
- 14:39Speaker 1: how you doing. My name is Darren. I'm with your
- 14:41Speaker 1: Homeowners Association. Oh okay, hey, dare how you doing? Listen? Um,
- 14:49Speaker 1: we gotta we got a bit of a problem if
- 14:51Speaker 1: you don't mind me asking, Who's who who actually brings
- 14:55Speaker 1: your kids on from school? Uh? Each day? Oh, my
- 15:00Speaker 1: mom gets my kids for me and she drops them off. Okay, okay, okay,
- 15:06Speaker 1: Well we have a we have a bit of a problem.
- 15:09Speaker 1: The kids are fine, there's there's no issue with the
- 15:11Speaker 1: kids at all. But you know, we've had a meeting
- 15:14Speaker 1: here at the HLA. We've been getting some complaints. Uh.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It seems like your mother is is uh really speeding
- 15:23Speaker 1: down the street real fast, and you know everyone's complaining
- 15:28Speaker 1: about it that you know, it's a lot of kids
- 15:30Speaker 1: walking home from school and it seems like your mom
- 15:33Speaker 1: is driving real fast when she's coming down the street
- 15:36Speaker 1: to drop your kids off. If you know anything about this,
- 15:40Speaker 1: uh no, not at all. That doesn't even sound like her. Okay,
- 15:45Speaker 1: what type of card? Uh? Let me ask you this, Natalie.
- 15:50Speaker 1: We're we're we're from what I understand it is a
- 15:55Speaker 1: what what kind of car does your mom had? Is
- 15:57Speaker 1: a board escape or something like that, something a little suv? Do?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Is that what your mama has? Yeah, she has a
- 16:04Speaker 1: little red stuv. Okay, all right, So the problem is
- 16:10Speaker 1: that that's the same car, that's the one we're talking about.
- 16:13Speaker 1: And it seems like, you know, your mother is is
- 16:17Speaker 1: flying down the street and she drops the kids off,
- 16:19Speaker 1: and when she leaves, she's flying back out of the
- 16:22Speaker 1: neighborhood and a couple of times some of the neighbors
- 16:24Speaker 1: have told her to slow down, and you know, I
- 16:27Speaker 1: don't know if she's flicked them off or set something
- 16:30Speaker 1: out the window, you know, but you know, this is
- 16:32Speaker 1: stuff that we just cannot tolerate. Huh, Well, it really
- 16:38Speaker 1: does sound like my mom. But you know, okay, you
- 16:42Speaker 1: know what, Natalie, what what we're not gonna do is
- 16:44Speaker 1: what you're not gonna do is act like it's not
- 16:46Speaker 1: your mama. It's your mother that's doing this. So what
- 16:49Speaker 1: we need you to do is tell your mama to
- 16:51Speaker 1: slow out down. So we don't ask problem, all right,
- 16:54Speaker 1: because I tried to be nice with you at first,
- 16:56Speaker 1: But if you're gonna be a denial, I think it
- 16:58Speaker 1: is not your mamma, then we out is first of all,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Darren from h o A, I need you to watch
- 17:06Speaker 1: your chale and who is you're talking to? All right?
- 17:09Speaker 1: I need you to climb that all the way down?
- 17:11Speaker 1: All right? I said that I would. You need to
- 17:14Speaker 1: slow your damn mama down. That's what you need to do.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Slow your mama. What she can do is stand in
- 17:21Speaker 1: the middle of the street and she flying down and
- 17:23Speaker 1: so hopefully she can knock you out the way. Okay,
- 17:26Speaker 1: don't talk to me like that. You're being ruined, disrespectful.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I would ask her if it's her, because I don't
- 17:31Speaker 1: think it's her. But you're not gonna talk to me
- 17:33Speaker 1: like that. Okay. So your mama can just drive down
- 17:36Speaker 1: the streets and don't do what she wanted to do.
- 17:40Speaker 1: What I'm gonna do. Whatever she wanted to do she
- 17:42Speaker 1: had grown and doing. She can't do it in the
- 17:44Speaker 1: neighborhood that I'm a member of the h o AN.
- 17:47Speaker 1: She can't do it there. Okay. So I don't know
- 17:50Speaker 1: whatever your mama arrested with your kids in the car.
- 17:53Speaker 1: If I got to, I wish you would. I wish
- 17:56Speaker 1: you would have my mama wrested with my kids in
- 17:59Speaker 1: the car. You're gonna have a problems, say you ever had? Okay,
- 18:02Speaker 1: you bet? And I have my mama arrested. You're gonna
- 18:05Speaker 1: get arrested and you're gonna be sent to the hospital.
- 18:08Speaker 1: How about that? Okay, let me tell yourself. Tell your
- 18:12Speaker 1: mama so slow home down in the streets. This the
- 18:15Speaker 1: last one, and I'm giving y'all this the last one. Well,
- 18:19Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. You ain't got to get
- 18:21Speaker 1: no one and say okay, we can have a real
- 18:23Speaker 1: conversation about it. We can meet and talk about it.
- 18:26Speaker 1: She ain't gonna talk to me like that, say you,
- 18:28Speaker 1: And I ain't telling my mama nothing. I ain't coming
- 18:30Speaker 1: out a slow down thing, nothing. What you're gonna do?
- 18:32Speaker 1: What's your mom today? Man of fact? Let's meet about it.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And I'm not bringing my husband too. Says you got
- 18:38Speaker 1: so much to say, you don't say. I don't want
- 18:40Speaker 1: you to keep that same energy. Okay with my husband.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I want you to talk to him like you talking
- 18:46Speaker 1: to meet. I let me tell you something. I ain't
- 18:49Speaker 1: worry about your husband and none of that. All right,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna say I'm gonna say this right here, I'm
- 18:53Speaker 1: gonna say this right here. Tommy is the one that
- 18:56Speaker 1: told us that your mama was spading down the street.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Commedy one said it, Tommy put it on Timmy. Tommy
- 19:04Speaker 1: said your mamma was the one running up and down
- 19:07Speaker 1: the street fast going part to pick the mill and out.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Tommy one said that, I don't know who Timmy sh
- 19:13Speaker 1: but Tommy can kiss my. You can kiss my, And
- 19:16Speaker 1: he got the neighbors who got something to say about
- 19:19Speaker 1: my mama can kiss my about that. You're gonna shoot it,
- 19:23Speaker 1: let me shoot it. Do you know, nephew Tommy from
- 19:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show, do you know who stops me?
- 19:38Speaker 1: Why are you going? Mamally? Mike? God like the talking

- 21:05Speaker 1: a comedy special in London. Nick Cannon, believe it or not,
- 21:11Speaker 1: is having yet another baby. But right now we're going
- 21:16Speaker 1: to move on to something more pleasant, it is asked
- 21:18Speaker 1: the clo with chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. Ready, Steve,
- 21:23Speaker 1: here we go. This one's from Marshall in Kansas City.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Marchelle says, I reconnect it with a male friend after
- 21:30Speaker 1: five years of not talking because his sex was garbage.
- 21:35Speaker 1: We did it only once and I put him in
- 21:37Speaker 1: the friend zone. Afterwards, he wants us to try dating again.
- 21:41Speaker 1: So should I test the waters first to see if
- 21:43Speaker 1: he's better at sex? I mean, what are you talking
- 21:48Speaker 1: about should I test the waters first before you? What
- 21:54Speaker 1: for she does it again? What do you mean test
- 21:56Speaker 1: to waters first before she does it again? How do
- 21:59Speaker 1: you test to water? Do it right on the end
- 22:00Speaker 1: of the water again? Wants yeah, she's asked, Well, that's
- 22:04Speaker 1: all she did before? Was she did it one time?
- 22:07Speaker 1: It was garbage. She put him in the friend zone.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Now she's called us to say, should I test the
- 22:13Speaker 1: waters again before I go in? How do you test
- 22:15Speaker 1: the waters? You wanna have sexual to do it again? Right?
- 22:19Speaker 1: She wants to see if he's learned anything. If he's well,
- 22:22Speaker 1: there's only one way to find out. You can't ask
- 22:26Speaker 1: what you're gonna ask? Are you still garbage? In bad baby?
- 22:29Speaker 1: I ain't never been garbage. I learned how to do
- 22:32Speaker 1: it yet I turned him up. I turned him out,
- 22:34Speaker 1: But he got five years. Depending on how old he is,
- 22:38Speaker 1: you know, if he and his farty, it's just gonna
- 22:41Speaker 1: be the same. Now. If he was twenty one, might
- 22:47Speaker 1: being for surprise, it's a big surprise. But if it's
- 22:51Speaker 1: forty forty five, he the same dude. He has been
- 22:56Speaker 1: missing guiding women, isn't God damn? So should she take
- 23:02Speaker 1: a chance or no? That Oh, you ain't the ho it.
- 23:05Speaker 1: That's why he available. You ain't the only one discovery
- 23:11Speaker 1: why you think every time you talk to him his
- 23:14Speaker 1: ass is available that part. Yeah, all right, all right,
- 23:21Speaker 1: here we go, Suki and Oklahoma says My seven year
- 23:25Speaker 1: old son told me that his teacher is a brown cow.
- 23:29Speaker 1: He said his classmates call her that his teacher is
- 23:32Speaker 1: black and he is one of the only three blacks
- 23:35Speaker 1: in the class. Do I need to start calling these
- 23:38Speaker 1: racist parents or should I talk to the principle? Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 1: you need to start calling these racist parents and start
- 23:44Speaker 1: with your little racist ass boy. They got him. He
- 23:49Speaker 1: down there repeating what he hearing. She's the brown cow
- 23:53Speaker 1: and it's three of them, and y'all need to check it. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 1: because this is how it starts. The goals unchecked, it
- 24:02Speaker 1: gets it gets out of hand, and he's and he's seven,
- 24:05Speaker 1: So yeah, you got to say seth okay, all right,
- 24:09Speaker 1: all right? Uh da Quanda and Terrytown says my husband
- 24:13Speaker 1: told me that he offered his co worker a ride
- 24:16Speaker 1: to work after her car was stolen. I found her
- 24:19Speaker 1: page on Instagram, and she's got a lot of revealing
- 24:22Speaker 1: pictures of her big old butt and she's cute. She
- 24:26Speaker 1: not forbid him from taking her to work. Why do
- 24:34Speaker 1: you think he offered to ride? Yeah, that's why he
- 24:41Speaker 1: offered to ride. So you can forbid him or whatever
- 24:46Speaker 1: you want. But you know here, you know already offered
- 24:50Speaker 1: so a friend. He wasn't doing that. He walked a friend.
- 24:57Speaker 1: He wasn't being nice to be nice. Watch it's being
- 25:03Speaker 1: nice for what men. Everything men do is with purpose,
- 25:08Speaker 1: Every single thing is with purpose. Picking you up because
- 25:11Speaker 1: you need to ride, Let her daddy take her to work.
- 25:18Speaker 1: She ain't got no girlfriends can drop her ass off?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Where the women on the job. That's got cause why
- 25:25Speaker 1: you volunteered. You already know the conversation he catches up hill,
- 25:31Speaker 1: Go ahead and pick up and see what happened. Trying
- 25:33Speaker 1: to be a better person and get a woman to ride,
- 25:35Speaker 1: that's all. I'm just trying to get an uberp. I
- 25:40Speaker 1: don't get the problem all this stuff that's out here. Now,
- 25:42Speaker 1: she need to ride. Her car got stole. Now you
- 25:45Speaker 1: fit to take our car over there in that ragged
- 25:47Speaker 1: heads and neighborhood. And now we ain't got no ride.
- 25:54Speaker 1: You're breaking it down. So you're telling yes, she should
- 26:00Speaker 1: forbid her husband from taking her to work. Why he
- 26:02Speaker 1: tell her all he had to do was go and
- 26:06Speaker 1: pick her up. Well, but you even earlier, now you know,
- 26:10Speaker 1: I got some pre work things I got to do.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Any think it happened though, right? I mean, God forbid
- 26:17Speaker 1: you get an accident with this woman. Well, it's happening
- 26:20Speaker 1: to not. He'd told the truth in Lucqua. He damned
- 26:25Speaker 1: the strawberry letter. I told you all about this truth.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Now I have told you over and over about this truth.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Just walking in the house, confess it, Joe, stupid behind.
- 26:41Speaker 1: It ain't time for that. Damn. This young ass sporting
- 26:45Speaker 1: got on my nerves. Now you have looked up her page.
- 26:53Speaker 1: But if she wasn't find it, be okay. If she
- 26:58Speaker 1: wouldn't find, he wouldn't be offering the right right. It's
- 27:02Speaker 1: a catch twenty two. I get it. Don't want to
- 27:05Speaker 1: lovely people in the car. Man, I'm going to work
- 27:11Speaker 1: people telling who? Well, look who Steve got over? Whatever?
- 27:15Speaker 1: He isn't doing good? Is he? Who? Man? Look at
- 27:22Speaker 1: that you he got to ride with hair moning to work.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I know I'll get it. The boy, this ain't my wife.
- 27:27Speaker 1: You gotta hey, then what you're looking at over here.
- 27:31Speaker 1: This ain't your car. Find your pissiness. Just being nice man,
- 27:39Speaker 1: just helping her. Help a beautiful personality? What beautiful on
- 27:47Speaker 1: the inside? All right? Moving on last one, Crazy uh
- 27:55Speaker 1: Vedra and Memphis says, I've been dating a guy for
- 27:59Speaker 1: a while in His eight year old son is very
- 28:01Speaker 1: rough and like to tackle me and wrestle with me.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I've had several bruises, and I've asked him to control
- 28:06Speaker 1: his son, but he won't. I avoid the boy whenever possible,
- 28:10Speaker 1: because I'm going to hurt him. Should I knock his
- 28:13Speaker 1: little butt out one good time? That's what you got
- 28:15Speaker 1: to do. You got to get the ass on it.
- 28:18Speaker 1: He come in at a tackle, Just raised your knee,
- 28:22Speaker 1: put it dead on his chin, rock his little lass
- 28:27Speaker 1: Ooh sorry, here's what you do. Tackle him when he
- 28:33Speaker 1: tackle him first he ain't looking. Just put your foot
- 28:36Speaker 1: in his lower back and send his ass across the
- 28:38Speaker 1: room dead into them blind. He's eight now, damn that
- 28:44Speaker 1: you need it, he need damn that I stop all
- 28:46Speaker 1: that tackling. Why why want his dad saying that my
- 28:51Speaker 1: grandson used to bite me when he saw me. Then
- 28:53Speaker 1: I beat his ass back and we stopped all the biting. Ended.
- 28:58Speaker 1: All right, thanks Phil, coming up entertainment right after this.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You're listening well. Guys Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle, who
- 29:13Speaker 1: were both attacked on stage during separate events, are a
- 29:18Speaker 1: teaming up now for a joint comedy special in London
- 29:21Speaker 1: later this year. The stand up show is set for Saturday,
- 29:24Speaker 1: September third at the O two Arena in London. Tickets
- 29:29Speaker 1: go on sale today at ten am Eastern at live
- 29:32Speaker 1: nation dot com. Live Nation is calling the show a
- 29:36Speaker 1: night of world class comedy. Sounds like a good show,
- 29:40Speaker 1: icons right, let right. Moving on to Nick Cannon. Nick
- 29:46Speaker 1: Cannon has confirmed that he's got another baby on the way.
- 29:51Speaker 1: After Abby day La Rosa announced she was pregnant again,
- 29:55Speaker 1: Nick has admitted that he is the father. All right,
- 29:58Speaker 1: Abby stud date is October twenty five, and earlier this week.
- 30:02Speaker 1: If you recall, she teas the idea of having twins again,
- 30:06Speaker 1: but that hasn't been confirmed. Nick and Abbey already share
- 30:09Speaker 1: a set of twins that were born late last year.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Comments nobody, I don't, I don't. I'm just I'm just tired, okay, great, good,
- 30:20Speaker 1: all right? Good? Too many? Too much? All right? Much?
- 30:25Speaker 1: It is time you got to be exhausted. Yeah, babies
- 30:32Speaker 1: now all right, um, you know, um, what I don't know.
- 30:43Speaker 1: You know. The part for me is when you have children.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Children may not listen to what you say, but they
- 30:56Speaker 1: do very much watch what you do. Amen. May they
- 31:01Speaker 1: may never repeat or say anything of what you've ever
- 31:04Speaker 1: told them, but they watch very carefully what you do.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And when you're talking to your daughters about how to
- 31:13Speaker 1: be treated by men, you're gonna at one point have
- 31:18Speaker 1: to be that example because that's what a young girl
- 31:23Speaker 1: when she looks at her father, that's her first viewpoint
- 31:27Speaker 1: of a man's love for a woman. So that you
- 31:31Speaker 1: got to be conscious of the way you present yourself
- 31:34Speaker 1: to your daughters. It's it's equally as important when young
- 31:37Speaker 1: women don't have fathers in their lives as it is
- 31:40Speaker 1: from young boys don't have fathers, because I've discovered that
- 31:44Speaker 1: in my mentoring camp, and that's why we created the
- 31:47Speaker 1: Girls program. But Marjorie deals with all types of girls.
- 31:50Speaker 1: But I've noticed that the camps is vital that girls
- 31:54Speaker 1: have young men in their lives too, because some women
- 31:57Speaker 1: grow up looking for love in all the wrong places
- 32:01Speaker 1: because they never saw what it looked like close up.
- 32:04Speaker 1: And it's hurtful to them. And so as a father,
- 32:07Speaker 1: we have a responsibility to our children and the way
- 32:10Speaker 1: we are and you got to be careful what you're
- 32:12Speaker 1: showing because what you're going to want to teach them.
- 32:15Speaker 1: It's gonna be hard for me to look at my
- 32:17Speaker 1: daughters and just say, hey, then you know, a man
- 32:20Speaker 1: can come along without, you know, giving you honor and
- 32:23Speaker 1: just do what we want to do and even go
- 32:25Speaker 1: off and didn't even gonna have some more kids for
- 32:26Speaker 1: somebody else. But you bost sit there and be a
- 32:28Speaker 1: good mother. And you can't be ten different places at once.
- 32:32Speaker 1: You're only one person. It's more to life than being
- 32:36Speaker 1: a mother for these young girls. It's also do you
- 32:39Speaker 1: have somebody who's dare for you? Do you have somebody
- 32:41Speaker 1: as fun as you, respect you and love you. Yeah? Yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 1: that's the hard part about the things when you have.
- 32:47Speaker 1: But you know what, I see a lot of comments
- 32:49Speaker 1: on social media talking about Nick Cannon Steve. They'll say, well,
- 32:52Speaker 1: he got the money to raise them, but it's more money.
- 32:57Speaker 1: It's about the kids and with money. Yeah, yeah, excuse me,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I'm listen to this statement. This is not a bragging statement.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I know what it is to live with money. What
- 33:10Speaker 1: your children need is time. They ain't got nothing to
- 33:15Speaker 1: do with your money, man, Because when I was in
- 33:17Speaker 1: my early years, when I was out here trying to
- 33:19Speaker 1: make the money, you know what they was missing? They father, Yes, yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 1: they don't know they daddy, and give a damn about
- 33:27Speaker 1: that money. And you do your kids tell you that,
- 33:29Speaker 1: They tell you that. Oh well, you know, the Earl
- 33:33Speaker 1: Brandon Cary suffered the most because I was gone the
- 33:36Speaker 1: most for Brandon Carllege. You know, went to the Lloyd
- 33:40Speaker 1: you know, seven seven years old, you know, so it
- 33:45Speaker 1: was a different if a doing rearing for them. I
- 33:47Speaker 1: was there the whole time, the early years, Brandon Cary,
- 33:50Speaker 1: they suffered, man, because of that, you know. And I was.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I was. I was at the at the baseball park,
- 33:55Speaker 1: my son getting the ball over the fence. I was
- 33:58Speaker 1: there and man, he ain't out that dug out and said,
- 34:02Speaker 1: you was here, daddy, You was here, You was here,
- 34:05Speaker 1: you saw me do it? Daddy? Oh man, I was
- 34:08Speaker 1: in here. Oh man. But you know what I said
- 34:15Speaker 1: the other day, I got one kid, and I'm exhausted
- 34:18Speaker 1: trying to make sure that I raised a winner and
- 34:23Speaker 1: not a loser. Yeah, that's right, and you're doing a
- 34:26Speaker 1: great job, you really are. I stand by that. You
- 34:29Speaker 1: gotta be present. So if you got babies all oh,
- 34:32Speaker 1: thank you, Shirley. But if you got babies all over
- 34:35Speaker 1: the place with different women, how are you there? You
- 34:39Speaker 1: gotta think about the babies at that time. You have
- 34:43Speaker 1: people at one time. He has the money. That's I
- 34:48Speaker 1: got that. And you know, look, I'm not you know,
- 34:52Speaker 1: me and Nick we all right. So you know, notice
- 34:54Speaker 1: I don't say anything file about the brother or anything
- 34:58Speaker 1: like that. I don't want anybody understand what I'm saying.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I'm giving you my take on parenty. Yes, and what's
- 35:06Speaker 1: required in that and that right there is a monster job.
- 35:11Speaker 1: And I have to be careful when I'm talking to
- 35:13Speaker 1: my daughters about the treatment they should expect from men.
- 35:19Speaker 1: They got to look at the way I treat Margie,
- 35:20Speaker 1: and I made it plenty mistakes in my path, man,
- 35:25Speaker 1: And I also know how you're not supposed to do people.
- 35:29Speaker 1: And I've been very honest and frank about that. Yeah,
- 35:33Speaker 1: but you know, man, you know when you get it right,
- 35:35Speaker 1: you gotta get it right, not only for yourself, but
- 35:37Speaker 1: there's a lot of people watching you. Man, yeah, all right,
- 35:42Speaker 1: we're gonna move on, guys, coming up at twenty minutes
- 35:44Speaker 1: after the hour. The House has voted for gun control
- 35:47Speaker 1: legislation called Protecting Our Kids Act. We'll discuss that right
- 35:51Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to well. The House has voted
- 35:57Speaker 1: two twenty three to two oh four to pass a
- 36:00Speaker 1: package of gun control legislation. It's called the Protecting Our
- 36:04Speaker 1: Kids Act, after lawmakers faced intense pressure to act in
- 36:08Speaker 1: the wake of the recent mass shootings. Five Republicans voted
- 36:12Speaker 1: for the bill and two Democrats voted against it. The
- 36:15Speaker 1: legislation includes a series of individual bills aimed at preventing
- 36:19Speaker 1: gun violence. It would raise the legal age to buy
- 36:22Speaker 1: certain semi automatic rifles from eighteen to twenty one years old,
- 36:27Speaker 1: and establish new federal offenses for gun trafficking and for
- 36:30Speaker 1: selling large capacity magazines. Now, during the floor debate in
- 36:35Speaker 1: the House, in the House Chamber, how spinger Nancy Pelosi commented,
- 36:39Speaker 1: America has lost more children from gun violence than any
- 36:43Speaker 1: other cause. Does that embarrass you to think that in
- 36:46Speaker 1: our country more children have died from gun violence than
- 36:49Speaker 1: any other cause. These stories are tragically all too common
- 36:53Speaker 1: in America today. You know when they say five Republicans
- 36:58Speaker 1: voted forty who Democrats voted against it? That's a very
- 37:02Speaker 1: interesting thing. I can promise you one of those Democrats
- 37:06Speaker 1: his mansion out of West Virginia, who against it? Why? Yeah,
- 37:11Speaker 1: and why only five Republicans voted for it. But this
- 37:16Speaker 1: is what the people want. This is what your constituents want.
- 37:19Speaker 1: They want gun control, they want it. Why are we
- 37:23Speaker 1: selling assault rifles? They got to assault. Let me tell
- 37:29Speaker 1: you how foul this country is. Do you know that
- 37:33Speaker 1: is illegal? And it is a punishable by prison of fish.
- 37:38Speaker 1: If you use an assault rifle on a deer while hunting,
- 37:42Speaker 1: do you know that that you cannot use an assault
- 37:45Speaker 1: rifle to kill an animal? You're doing well? Yeah? Okay,
- 37:50Speaker 1: So if the gun isn't for hunting animals, why are
- 37:54Speaker 1: we allowed to buy an assault rifle. Listen to the
- 37:58Speaker 1: name of the gun, Salt, it is to assault. The
- 38:02Speaker 1: only thing you could assault with it, it's a human being.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Get rid of that gun. Man. All of these climbs
- 38:09Speaker 1: you see have assault rifle's attack. I don't give a
- 38:13Speaker 1: damn about the magazines all this here. Why are we
- 38:15Speaker 1: allowed to buy it? Man? Yeah, this is a military
- 38:18Speaker 1: what they're doing everything to let you keep it everything,
- 38:23Speaker 1: Let you keep it going off the table, take it
- 38:26Speaker 1: off the table. You're right. They go so hard for
- 38:28Speaker 1: stuff like that, but you know, to protect our children
- 38:32Speaker 1: and and that sort of thing, they don't. But everything
- 38:35Speaker 1: else they go hard for. You can't kill animals, you
- 38:37Speaker 1: can't do this, you can't do that, abortion, you can't
- 38:40Speaker 1: do any they go hard for that. But this gun
- 38:42Speaker 1: control issue. So radio silear at all Yeah, legal you boy,
- 38:49Speaker 1: what boy? All right? Coming up at thirty four minutes
- 38:52Speaker 1: after the hour, it is National Marriage Day, National Marriage Day.
- 38:57Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 39:04Speaker 1: all right, guys, so happy National Marriage Day. That's what
- 39:07Speaker 1: today is National Marriage Day. And Lebron James isn't shy
- 39:13Speaker 1: about talking about how he feels about his wife. Lebron
- 39:16Speaker 1: often boasts on social media that his wife makes his
- 39:19Speaker 1: world go round, and over the weekend, he did an
- 39:22Speaker 1: appreciation post on Instagram for his lovely wife, Savannah James.
- 39:26Speaker 1: He captioned it quick letter to my Queen, simply just
- 39:30Speaker 1: letting you know that I appreciate you more than this
- 39:32Speaker 1: world has to offer. Ben my rock holding this sugar
- 39:36Speaker 1: honey iced tea down from the very jump ball, very
- 39:39Speaker 1: first jump ball. With all the bs that comes into
- 39:42Speaker 1: our lives throughout the years and on the daily, You've
- 39:46Speaker 1: never wavered, fluttered, or allowed yourself to simply not be
- 39:49Speaker 1: strong for me us, but more importantly you Lebron and
- 39:53Speaker 1: Savannah's love story began during their teenage years, and Steve,
- 39:58Speaker 1: of course, you often credit archery with holding you down.
- 40:01Speaker 1: So happy National Marriage Day? Are you are? We're supposed
- 40:04Speaker 1: to buy something to day? Though? Is this what we
- 40:06Speaker 1: got to get? Some money gift? I mean, what what
- 40:08Speaker 1: is it? What? But why do you see your nerves?
- 40:11Speaker 1: H y'all, y'all all? It is all It is his
- 40:15Speaker 1: wife appreciation. That that's all I got, your happy marriage state?
- 40:19Speaker 1: Just slow do you ain't got to buy nothing you
- 40:22Speaker 1: got to buy. I've been one of I'm missed out
- 40:24Speaker 1: on them. I'm something I'm supposed to do. I I
- 40:27Speaker 1: need to go get something. Just let me buy so
- 40:32Speaker 1: many days and we gotta can remember all of them.
- 40:35Speaker 1: And then it's then Mama's dance. She ain't my mama.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Then I got you go go get nothing about it?
- 40:42Speaker 1: If you tell me, I gotta go get out, go
- 40:44Speaker 1: get something. Can you just show some appreciation and I appreciated, man,
- 40:51Speaker 1: She yields. I do appreciate, huh. But for everyone, yeah
- 40:55Speaker 1: you huh. You're gonna give it to all stake happy man. Yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 1: I didn't even know this was existed. I can't say
- 41:07Speaker 1: all of that. Hell, I didn't know it was existed.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I love you, baby. I know I'm gonna be asking
- 41:16Speaker 1: a fool. I love you, boy. Shout out to Lebron James,
- 41:22Speaker 1: showing his black queen some love. Yes, my queen, Ye,
- 41:28Speaker 1: I love I love Savannah James. I follow her. I
- 41:31Speaker 1: love her. Yeah, she's a real one, she chide. If

- 44:34Speaker 1: to reach a Glenda and place. How you doing? My
- 44:38Speaker 1: name is Brad. I'm actually with the A and C
- 44:42Speaker 1: Department Accidents and Conditions. Wanted to give you a call
- 44:45Speaker 1: and see how you're doing this morning. I'm sorry, great,
- 44:49Speaker 1: great Now. I am the the Accident and Condition coordinated,
- 44:54Speaker 1: the last person that it goes to before actually issuing
- 44:56Speaker 1: out a check, and just wanted to give you a
- 44:59Speaker 1: call and and see how everything is going going. Have
- 45:02Speaker 1: you have you been to the doctor on your fall
- 45:04Speaker 1: and just just wanted to do a follow up with
- 45:06Speaker 1: you and make sure everything is okay, Yeah, everything. Have
- 45:11Speaker 1: you needed to do any any rehabilitation work or anything
- 45:14Speaker 1: like that. This is just a random procedure of all
- 45:17Speaker 1: the notes that I have to write down. And like
- 45:19Speaker 1: I said, this is the final step of getting you
- 45:22Speaker 1: out of check. Now, the last heard you were offered
- 45:25Speaker 1: two thousand dollars? Is that correct? If you were there,
- 45:28Speaker 1: you go ahead to supervised, you would knew how that
- 45:31Speaker 1: if you worked there. Okay, Well, I'm just looking at
- 45:34Speaker 1: the file that I have. Man, I don't have everything.
- 45:37Speaker 1: You got that rope down, that's what they offer. Okay,
- 45:40Speaker 1: Well listen, here's what we're doing. M I've also been
- 45:44Speaker 1: brought some other records. Is this the first time you've
- 45:47Speaker 1: actually had an incident like this? What is this the
- 45:51Speaker 1: first time you've had an incident of actually falling? Yeah, yeah,
- 45:55Speaker 1: that's my first time. Okay, Well, actually, what we're doing,
- 46:00Speaker 1: uh looking over the records here, I've got some actual
- 46:04Speaker 1: incidents that it seems like you've actually fallen several times
- 46:07Speaker 1: in other places. And uh, what what I'm having to
- 46:12Speaker 1: do here, ma'am is let you know that I am
- 46:15Speaker 1: not going to sign off on this at all. So
- 46:17Speaker 1: the money that has been offered to you. I am
- 46:20Speaker 1: no longer going to be uh. I'm not going to
- 46:22Speaker 1: confirm this check to go out to you. I don't
- 46:25Speaker 1: think that there's anything wrong with you. I don't think
- 46:28Speaker 1: that you have a problem. I think that there's something
- 46:30Speaker 1: that you deliberately did in one of our stores. I
- 46:33Speaker 1: could care less about what you think what happened was
- 46:38Speaker 1: was on the floor. I fail. I'm gonna they don't
- 46:41Speaker 1: have to pay for the claim. No, we're not gonna, actually, ma'am.
- 46:45Speaker 1: What I'm gonna have to do is get you to
- 46:47Speaker 1: come down and sign uh an agreement. Yes, I'm gonna
- 46:52Speaker 1: need you to come down and sign an agreement that
- 46:53Speaker 1: you actually made this whole thing up and I need
- 46:56Speaker 1: that in wrong, I'm coming nowhere. Look, man, I don't
- 47:00Speaker 1: care if you come down or I have to come
- 47:02Speaker 1: down and haul your tin, because I'm not signing over
- 47:05Speaker 1: a check to you for somebody that deliberately laid down
- 47:08Speaker 1: in the floor and act like something was wrong with them.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Good and mine deliberately done it. How exactly it was. Witnesses,
- 47:16Speaker 1: you need to talk to them. I've spoken to every
- 47:19Speaker 1: witness and you know what, man, everyone thinks because my
- 47:23Speaker 1: friend was there. You haven't spoken to her. There's a
- 47:26Speaker 1: lot of people that assume that you're lying. Well, I
- 47:29Speaker 1: don't kill what they are fool man, let me explain something.
- 47:33Speaker 1: We can take this thing further. I even have you
- 47:35Speaker 1: on video actually deliberately laying down in the middle of
- 47:39Speaker 1: the floor as if you have no. No, I am
- 47:43Speaker 1: not man. We're not gonna give you two We're not
- 47:47Speaker 1: going to give you two dollars. What's your name? My
- 47:49Speaker 1: name is Brad with the anc department. Well, you won't
- 47:52Speaker 1: be him the job. Too much going on because you're
- 47:54Speaker 1: a fool. No, No, I'm not a fool. I want
- 47:57Speaker 1: to make sure that you understand. I want to make
- 47:59Speaker 1: sure that you understand now. I want to understand that
- 48:02Speaker 1: this is not something that you can do or continue
- 48:05Speaker 1: to do. Now. I want to hear it out of
- 48:07Speaker 1: your mouth. You tell me, did you lay down on
- 48:09Speaker 1: that floor deliberately? If you think I'm being to set
- 48:13Speaker 1: of here and tell you I deliberately laid down in
- 48:16Speaker 1: the floor. Am I crazy? Am I crazy? For you
- 48:20Speaker 1: sitting here and tell me the sale that it as all? No,
- 48:25Speaker 1: deliberately laid down on that floor, and you're deliberately trying
- 48:28Speaker 1: to get two thousand dollars worth the money that does
- 48:31Speaker 1: not belong to you. What you just review the damn
- 48:33Speaker 1: cap then and uh you will see what happened. Would
- 48:37Speaker 1: you like for me to get authorities to come over
- 48:39Speaker 1: man and bring you in? Because what we who you
- 48:42Speaker 1: get get? Whether you want to get if I need
- 48:45Speaker 1: to send authorities down there, you you sent them over here.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I don't think I'm not I'm not true. They're gonna
- 48:55Speaker 1: bring you in and you're gonna sign this form I
- 48:57Speaker 1: have that deliberately laid down on that floor. You a fool,
- 49:01Speaker 1: the nerve of you black people. I'm not coming in.
- 49:04Speaker 1: I'm not signing nothing. And now what Utah man, I
- 49:08Speaker 1: don't know. I ain't ever heard this. Utah man. Now,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I want you to bring your little narrow black behind
- 49:14Speaker 1: in here so we can get this stuff rectified. Is
- 49:16Speaker 1: what I want done? Are you crazy or dasa? You
- 49:20Speaker 1: ain't your sharpest tool in the share. I tell you
- 49:22Speaker 1: that I am not coming in. I don't know what
- 49:26Speaker 1: he come in. Fun. I want you to sign a
- 49:28Speaker 1: form that you deliberately laid down in this floor, and
- 49:31Speaker 1: it was all fictitiously, no wonderful. Would I do something
- 49:35Speaker 1: like that and then go to jail. Why would you
- 49:37Speaker 1: lay down in the floor in the in the first place,
- 49:39Speaker 1: and when you knew nothing. I told you I didn't
- 49:41Speaker 1: do that. Yes she did, Yes she did. It's in
- 49:44Speaker 1: front of you. I can look at you in your
- 49:46Speaker 1: eyes and tell when you're lying. I'm told you. I
- 49:50Speaker 1: told you what. Hell, that's it. That's all. Back, Hey,
- 49:53Speaker 1: can I say let me say one more Hello? Call
- 49:58Speaker 1: it right back. Hello. I don't want to continue to

- 50:06Speaker 1: I told you what happened. I'm not going to keep
- 50:09Speaker 1: I'm telling you that. I don't know why you keep
- 50:11Speaker 1: calling me. Let me speak to your damn supervis. Let
- 50:14Speaker 1: me say well, first of all, man, First of all,

- 53:42Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. Here. It is
- 53:44Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject the jump off Jumped
- 53:48Speaker 1: on Him. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm thirty two years old
- 53:52Speaker 1: and I've been dating this guy for almost eight months
- 53:55Speaker 1: and we've had fun getting to know each other. He
- 53:58Speaker 1: was honest in the beginning and told me he had
- 54:00Speaker 1: some loose ends to tie up before we got serious,
- 54:03Speaker 1: and I appreciated that honesty. The fact that he didn't
- 54:07Speaker 1: hide his phone or turned his ringer off made me
- 54:10Speaker 1: feel that he was ready to be in a relationship
- 54:12Speaker 1: with me, so I didn't trip. We went. We went
- 54:16Speaker 1: out all over town, and I stayed at his home
- 54:19Speaker 1: all of the time. The only thing that made me
- 54:22Speaker 1: suspect suspect he was up to something was a few
- 54:26Speaker 1: nights I couldn't reach him, but I let it go.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I invited him to visit my parents with me. My
- 54:32Speaker 1: parents live about two hours from us, so we went
- 54:35Speaker 1: on an overnight trip to visit them. They cooked dinner
- 54:38Speaker 1: for us, and after dinner, my man and I went
- 54:41Speaker 1: out to a hookah spot to unwind. My boyfriend got
- 54:45Speaker 1: a phone call and walked away to take it. He
- 54:48Speaker 1: got upset and he was ready to go back to
- 54:50Speaker 1: my parents house. We got to his car and there
- 54:53Speaker 1: was a car blocking us in. He asked the car
- 54:56Speaker 1: to move and the lady flipped him off. I didn't
- 54:59Speaker 1: think anything of it. When we got to my parents house,
- 55:02Speaker 1: that same car pulled up in the driveway. This same
- 55:06Speaker 1: lady got out and ran up and started hit started
- 55:09Speaker 1: hitting on my man my dad heard the commotion and
- 55:12Speaker 1: came outside to pull her off my man. The lady
- 55:17Speaker 1: said she's been seeing my man for a few months,
- 55:19Speaker 1: and she followed us. I was very embarrassed and reluctantly
- 55:23Speaker 1: took him to the er to get stitches. In her words,
- 55:28Speaker 1: she told police say she knew she was the jump off,
- 55:31Speaker 1: but she fell in love with him, and he wouldn't
- 55:34Speaker 1: leave me for her. He said, he got caught up
- 55:39Speaker 1: slept with her, but he wants me. Can I trust
- 55:42Speaker 1: this man and continue this relationship despite just what happened?
- 55:47Speaker 1: What just happened, Well, he certainly has no control over
- 55:51Speaker 1: what crazy did. I mean, she did that all on
- 55:54Speaker 1: her own, gave him stitches in all of that. But
- 55:58Speaker 1: the crazy part is that this really happened. I mean,
- 56:00Speaker 1: she's fatal attraction crazy like the movie. You do know that, right,
- 56:05Speaker 1: And now she knows where your parents live. She stopped
- 56:08Speaker 1: you guys from the restaurant Beetra man so badly that
- 56:11Speaker 1: he needed stitches, and she's only been seeing him for
- 56:15Speaker 1: a few months. Well, I'm sure your parents would tell
- 56:19Speaker 1: you to run, and I'm probably good. I'm going to
- 56:21Speaker 1: tell you the same thing. I mean, your safety is
- 56:23Speaker 1: way more important. Even though she didn't do anything to you,
- 56:26Speaker 1: she just did it to your man. But you don't
- 56:28Speaker 1: want to wait around and see how crazy she really is. Again,
- 56:33Speaker 1: I think your safety is very important, and even if
- 56:35Speaker 1: you were to keep seeing him, you would always be
- 56:38Speaker 1: looking over your shoulder wondering if crazy could be lurking
- 56:41Speaker 1: in a corner somewhere. So you know, I'm gonna say
- 56:45Speaker 1: it's a no for me for you as far as
- 56:47Speaker 1: this relationship goes, because this woman is too crazy. She's
- 56:51Speaker 1: just too crazy. Steve Well, I don't have the letter
- 56:55Speaker 1: in front of me because of my whereabouts again, so
- 56:59Speaker 1: we're going to have to deal with this letter just
- 57:01Speaker 1: a little bit differently. The title of the letter again, Shirley,
- 57:05Speaker 1: is the jump off jumped on him. Jump Off jumped
- 57:10Speaker 1: on him. The jump off didn't jump on you. He
- 57:17Speaker 1: didn't jump on you. His daddy jumped on the jump off.
- 57:22Speaker 1: It's just a lot of jumping going on. I appreciate it,
- 57:26Speaker 1: and none to me like a good old ass whooping
- 57:28Speaker 1: type letter to deal. So I specialize in this because
- 57:32Speaker 1: I have been jumped home the cold by the jump off,
- 57:38Speaker 1: the jumpie and the jumper Wow. I've had all three
- 57:43Speaker 1: ass whoppers in my life, the jumper, the jumpie, and
- 57:48Speaker 1: the jump off, and then I ended up as the
- 57:52Speaker 1: jump So it's all all so relative here. The wonderful
- 57:58Speaker 1: thing about having a six five year old famous radio
- 58:02Speaker 1: show holes with means it means that he has had
- 58:06Speaker 1: a full life. The beauty of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 58:10Speaker 1: Shows that I don't mind being transparent in my full life. Now.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Can I tell everything? Absolutely not? But will I share
- 58:24Speaker 1: with you a lot? Of course it makes for more
- 58:27Speaker 1: interesting radio. I happen to be one of the most
- 58:30Speaker 1: compelling radio personalities on radio today, the Steve Harvey Morning
- 58:34Speaker 1: Shows more compelling than most shows because I don't really
- 58:38Speaker 1: care about the damn issues more than I care about myself.
- 58:44Speaker 1: That's why all issues and make them about me. That
- 58:51Speaker 1: way you can understand from a personal standpoint. Wise, So
- 58:55Speaker 1: this letter right here is very easy for me to do.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait the second half to get your resolution,
- 59:00Speaker 1: but I'm just giving you a little strap letter history Hill.
- 59:05Speaker 1: This letter is very simple for me to do. The
- 59:07Speaker 1: jump off jumped on him. Well, the hall I can
- 59:13Speaker 1: say is you're glad she didn't get to your ass.
- 59:19Speaker 1: You know it seemed like the type that can hand
- 59:21Speaker 1: them much jumping. You appreciate your ladder, your daddy in
- 59:25Speaker 1: this latter for coming out and on the porch and
- 59:27Speaker 1: jumping on the jump fer to see the jump off.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Didn't know that the jump off you was gonna come
- 59:35Speaker 1: in there and get jump See. I wrote a book
- 59:38Speaker 1: called jump which as me an expert on this hill,
- 59:43Speaker 1: jump off. This It is amazing how this works, don't
- 59:47Speaker 1: you see it? Fans, friends, hats, internet trolls. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 59:57Speaker 1: because because that's who listening to the show. We got fans,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: as we got friends, we got loyalty people, and then
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: we got hate us then listen to the show. So
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I'll be giving out internet advice when we come back
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: on the jump off jumped on him. He got stitch.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: You're listening, all right? Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. The subject the jump off jumped on him
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: very quickly. In recap, we've learned that this jump off
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: jumped on him. To set this letter up, you are
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: dealing with someone who has been jumped on by the jumper,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the jump off and the jump eat. I have been
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: all of it, and I've written a book called jump
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: So we are dealing with an expert on this letter,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: right Hill, So let us begin. Shirley, read the letter
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: quickly and I'll tell you the points I need for
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: you to stop because this is the letter in the
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: nut Show. Okay, there's Stephen Shirley. I'm thirty two years
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: old and I've been dating this guy for almost eight
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: months and we've had fun getting to know each other.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: He was honest in the beginning and told me he
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: had some loose ends to tie up before we got serious,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and I appreciated that honesty. The loose ends is what
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: jumped on his ends. The loose ends is the one
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: that jumped on his go ahead read all right. The
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: fact that he didn't hide his phone or turn his
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: ringer off made me feel that he was ready to
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: be in a relationship with me, so I didn't trip
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: stop right down. You can't cut your phone off when
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: your jumpie is crazy, because if they can't contact you,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: that elevates the craziness. Read Okay. We went out all
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: over town and I stayed at his home all of
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the time. The only thing that made me suspect suspect
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: that he was up to something was a few nights.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I couldn't reach him, but I let it go. Okay,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: stop right there, once again. This is the loose ends.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: He over there trying to tie a night in it,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and obviously it don't work. Read. I invited him to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: visit my parents with me. My parents live about two
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: hours from us, so we went on an overnight trip
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: to visit them. They cook dinner for us, and after dinner,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: my man and I went out to a hookah spot
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: to unwind. My boyfriend got a phone call and walked
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: away to take it. Stop. He got upset and he
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: was ready to stop right down. Okay, phone call, got
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: up from the table to take it once again. This
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: is the loose end, and the loose end is very
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: loose now cause it's calling at inappropriate moments. Read. He
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: got upset and he was ready to go back to
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: my parents' house. Stop right there. He far saw something
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: that the jumpie was about to do. The jump off
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: has discovered his location. He ready to go back to
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: your mama house right now because he knows what's coming. Read.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: We got to his car and there was a car
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: blocking us in Stop right there. It's too late. The
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: damn jump off is hell and she's blocking the car.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: He tried to get back to your mama's house in time.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: She was circling the block. She found the car, Oh lord.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Read he asked the car to move, and the lady
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: flipped him off. Stop right there. You can't ask the
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: jump off to do no favors when they let you
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: jump on them and became the jump off. That was
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: all the fever you get. Read. I didn't think anything
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: of it when we stop right down, you stupid. Read
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: When we got to my car here, you didn't think
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: nothing of a woman blocking the car, flipping your bad off. Read.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: When we got to my parents' house, that same car
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: pulled up in the driveway, stop right there to jump off.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: The loose ends all in one to jump off. And
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the lucy end is that he working all this time
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: up the loose end is it hasn't worked? The jump
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: off is loose. She at your mama house, Read the
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: same lady got out and ran up and started hitting
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: on my man. Stop right down. The loose end is
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: as loose as it can get right now. Read. My
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: dad heard the commotion and came outside to pull her
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: off of my man. Stop right there. Then down ten
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: and rescue it's underdog. He tried to come in to
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: say today it was too late. I ain't saying that
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: the loose hands is a problem, but this half forgot hands. Read.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: The lady said she's been seeing my man for a
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: few months, and she followed us. I was very embarrassed
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: and reluctantly took him to the er to get stitches.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Stop right there after your daddy pulled her. She said
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: she had been seeing him for a few months. One
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: thing I can tell you about this man right here,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: this boy bringing it yeah, and you following him jumping
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: on him? Read quickly s all right. I was very
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: embarrassed and reluctantly took him to the r to get stitches.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: In her words, she told police that she knew she
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: was a jump off, but she fell in love with
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: him and he wouldn't leave me for her. Stop right there.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I know I'm the jump off, but he bringing is
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: so good. I'm in love with him now, and he
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: not giving the jumpy product to a new jump off.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I'm fitness stay to jump off. Read. He said he
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: got caught up slept with her, but he wants me.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Can I trust this man and continue this relationship? Despite
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: just what happened, what just happened. When we come back,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I will close it out very very quickly. Here's the
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: solution to this letter at the end. Right after this,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: you're listening, all right, Steve. Here we go with part
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: three of today's Strawberry Letter. The subject is the jump
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: off jumped on him. We all know that this dude
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: is he had some loose ends when he started dating
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: a letter that wrote dating the lady that wrote the letter,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: and he said, hey, listen, I'm gonna be honest, which
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I got some loose ends. He was trying to get
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: these loose ends to hide up with the jump off chick,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: but it didn't work out of the Lucians was too less.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: He's bringing it too good. I mean, this boy's doing
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: some things to people that's got them all twisted up.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: You included in this letter to the point where she
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: then jumped on his ass and gave him stitches. That's
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: a flocious because he doing something I'm talking about outstanding
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: to do. Right. Here's bringing them Here's the problem line.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: You want to know should you continue in this relationship
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: and Shirley told you to run. You want to know
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: if you should stay with him, and Shirley told you
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: to get out. Now, Shirley gave you good advice. My
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: take is different. Shirley was almost there with me, but
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: then she switched. He told you it was some problems
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: he had. The problem he dating a crazy. Now he's
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: probably a good man, but he dated a crazy and
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: he put it on the crazy person too good. See,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: when you're dating a crazy person, you can't give them
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: your all in all. But he don't know that because
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: he young, y'all in your thirties, he don't know that. See,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: you have to portion it out or based on the
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: sanity you can only you have to portion it out
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: based on sanite. Crazy people, you can't give them your all.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: You have to wait until you meet a calm, sensible
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: woman for you start giving it your all. You give
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: it all to a crazy person, they're already crazy. Now
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: you in here touching spots and calls and chemical reactions
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: and stuff, and and they're already crazy. Then you're just
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: set up here and slept with this bipolar health of
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: that hit. Come hell, that's how good it is. Or
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: bust you outside your head and give you stitches. Jasmine
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Sullivan breaking out cab one. She would bust in faces.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: It's all the same. I bust the windows out. Choke car.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I put some stitches on your hair. I spit open
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: your phoe Hey. Seing you to the doctor may cause
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: you to stay in bed. I'll put some stitches in
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: your hair too much. Yes, based on what you saying?

- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Coming up. We'll find out what's happening at Apple at
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: morning show. You guys are gonna love this story. The
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: engineers at at Apple have finally released East, a new
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: operating system that will let us unsend messages. Man, thank you.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: When iPhone users update to new Apple iOS sixteen software
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: this fall, we will get to edit typos out of
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: sent messages, recall messages that we didn't mean to send,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: and mark a message thread as unread so you can
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: go back to it later. News. Yeah, would you say, see,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: I don't get any worried about no typo? Retire me?
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: What's your concern? Uh? You know what I uh uh
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: ask Junior something? I'm good? I thought I heard you
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: say so ye thinking about what my photo was. Can
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you pull up, put your back unsend messages? Okay? Apple
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: has finally realized that we all make mistakes by pressing
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: the sin button when we shouldn't. So thank you Apple
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: took a long enough, It really did, didn't it. I
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: lost a job cause it that. What do you mean
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: because you sent something that you shouldn't have? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: what's the worst trouble You've got this for a message?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: What is the silence for? Oh? He didn't send it? Well,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: let me see how I can explain it to you.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I see a partner of mine that I worked with
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: at one of our jobs that we had sent me
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: a group text, but it came from him. You know
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: who sends it to you? Their name pop up? Now,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: whoever else on the thread you can see it. But
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I didn't know that at the time. So he sent
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: me the message. So I said back a racially charged
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: response and press seeing it went to everybody on the
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: threat text thread. The only black people on the thread
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: was me and him. How many people were on there? Oh? God,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: so two were not black? Okay, and we're all in
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a supervisory capacity over you. That's why you got fired? Well,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you know. That's why I hate group text. You know.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I used some terminology that only black people used and talking,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: and I typed it to all of them. So how
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: did they fire you? How did that come about? What
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: they say? Well, you know we're in in that city
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: no more, damn. I never told y'all why y'all lost
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: that no affiliate? Yeo, why happened? Yeah? We were doing
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: so well. Yeah, that's why you were so quiet. Yeah.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I never said nothing, but that was it and they
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: ain't listening. They never I I didn't make some mistakes
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: by man, I didn't type. I thought I have type
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: how you doing? And it said hold you doing? Oh?
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Because that is right? They right there. You to get
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: a call and say who you calling on? Who is
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: you talking through? Man? My bad than I only typed
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: one time. My girlfriend texted me and said she you know,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: something great happened to her. Praise the Lord blah blah
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: blah blah blah. I typed her back, God is so hood,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: But I meant good for blessing you didn't you any huh? Oh?
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Look at the time coming up in twenty minutes after
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: the hour. Most lottery winners wish they could remain anonymous
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: after they win. We have one of those on this show.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this You're listening show.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Three percent of participants in a recent survey said they
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: would not tell their family members if they won money
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: in the lottery. Now, the question is that that sound
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: like anyone on this show. Well, nephew, you always say
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you would disappear if you want a big lottery and uh,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: looks you're not alone right now. Only seven states allow
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: lottery winners to remain anonymous. Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: South Carolina, and Texas. Okay, thank you think your primary
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Ohio they got that law because if you win some
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: money in Cleveland and your family find out when you
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: get the money there, have you killed in the world
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Cleveland man. So Tommy, since your primary residence is in Texas,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: you won't have to tell anyone in your family if
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: you ever win millions in the lottery. Already told y'all,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you I'm dying right in front of them.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: I'm making happm get shot right in front of them.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Mold out of that, Tommy, and actually have them take
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: a whole piece of show off, just just just all
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: of it, just right. I'm gonna get the baddest Hollywood
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: prosthetic person I can get that. I'm I'm going down.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: You're gonna it's gonna look, mate. But why your death? Yeah?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Why faking it right in front of them, Carl. I
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: can't be with him no more. I'm coming up at
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: thirty three minutes, everybody playing around him. Would you rather
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: right doing with this money? I can't be with you

- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I can't hold fine that. That's fine. I know I
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: can't hold that now. I'm gonna mess that up. You
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: ain't got really healthy, would you se? I don't know
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: why he talking like he ain't got that's got. That's
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: a choice. No, we all gonna take healthy health. I'm
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: gonna take I ain't never had, Helsey. You want to
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: see what all right? Would you rather sit through a
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: musical on Broadway or a rock concert? A rock concert?
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna do that musical. I can't handle that rock concert.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna do that musical musical or a rock concert.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I'm on over here with me and Paul getting best.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Ma ain't come on over here. Yeah, I go with
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the musical Broadway gonna say rock concert. I can't because

- 1:17:42Speaker 1: jumping around me off the beach. Who still, man, You're
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: diving the cry while I'm standing. Your ass gonna hit
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: the flow. I'm not catching no damn, but I'm We're
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: going go to this musical and kill myself. Go ahead, Shelly,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather? Would you rather um one
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: night with your crush? One night with your crush, or
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: one night with a stripper crush? Supposed they're the same
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: people up Jack, You gave me down your crush. It's
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: your stripper, stripper and your crush. All right, you have
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: to decide your crush or your stripper. That's funny. Crush. Yeah,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: the crush. I don't know me and hat for a night. Boys, Yeah,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: all right, you don't know, No Scripps. I mean, I mean,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, excuse you? What? Hey, go to the next question. Boys,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: outside boy if I knew strip you think I say
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: that on this ship? All right, best today's round of
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: would you rather? Coming back to forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have our last break of the day
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: and some closing from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show? All right, here
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: we are, guys, our last break of the day on
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: this Friday. It is Friday. Thank you lord. All of
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: that game to night? Yeah? Oh yeah, Well, hey, you know,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you know I've been opening this show lately and I've
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: been talking about the two. I call it the two,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: you know, because you know, sometimes you get accused of, Hey,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you know you need to watch you two? Now? You
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: know you tude is too strong with me. And I've
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: been opening the show talking about the tune. But the tude.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I really was thinking about it after I did it
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: this morning, I said, you know what, man, that really
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: makes you know, since I'm you know, it's the three
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: tunes that can change your life, and the three tunes
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: of this if you start your day with gratitude, that
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: showing gratitude will immediately immediately affect your attitude. And once
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: your attitude has been properly adjusted and affected. Those two
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: things will start to direct change your altitude. So tude
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: when I say the tunes, you know, get your tube together.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: It's really really a motivating thing, man, and I just
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: stumbled on it. Gratitude, attitude, altitude, and that's really man,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: the three things man, that can really change your life
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: because gratitude is such a major principle of success that's
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: oftentimes overlooked. And what I mean by that is it's
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: not it's not a theory that successful people came up with.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: It's a scripture. I don't know which one it is,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: but it is a scripture. I'm pretty sure Shirley could
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: find it. When it talks about, you know, giving thanks.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: You know, the more grateful you are, the more things
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: God will give you to be grateful for. There's a
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: scripture applies to that, but it's when you come to
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: God in prayer. You open up your prayer with thanks.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: That's the proper way to pray, to open up by
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: saying thank you. You know what I mean. But it
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: only makes it common sense. I mean, you think about it,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: you know, instead of always walking in the door asking
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: somebody for something, Hello, how you doing? You know, I
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: really appreciate you. Man. You've been very kind to my family,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: and I don't mean to be you know, step on
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: your toes anything, but you've done so much for us.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: I need one more favor. That's a better way to
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: walk in the door than just walk in the door
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and go, hey, what's up? Man? Hey, look man, can
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I get a hundred Well wait a minute, man, can
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: you get a hundred jets? Like that? We no? Hey,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: how you doing? Sorry to bother? You give me something.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: But when you go to God, if you start your
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: prayer with gratitude, it's to acknowledge the fact that you
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: already recognize that you have been stended some grace and
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: some mercy in your life that you may not really
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: even be deserving of, because that's what grace is. Grace
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: is God's unmerited favor. And what it means by that
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: is unmerited. It means you can't earn it. You can't
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: do anything to get it. Grace is given out freely,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: without cause, purpose or justification. When God gives you grace,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: he just give it to you and you can pass
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: judgment or you want. I know, you probably think it's
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: a lot of people that don't deserve grace, but you
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: ain't the one that has the ability to pass it out.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: And I thank God for that, because if people determine
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: who got grace, we probably wouldn't get none at all.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: But God is to give of grace. And God's grace
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: is his unmerited favor to us when He does things
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: for us that we don't even deserve. And that's why
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: you hear old people say all I want is a
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: little more grace because they understand how powerful it is.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: I wish you could purchase grace. I would take any
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: extra that I have and buy it. A matter of fact,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: I would take all that I have to buy grace
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: because I've been such a beneficiary of grace. Man, because
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: it's unexplainable how good God has been to me. And
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: I can only tell you that I know a lot
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: of what God does to me is simply because I
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: have the good sense to show gratitude. I have enough
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: sense to thank Him all the time for what He's
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: done for me. And now millions and millions of people
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: who do the same thing, and they have the life
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: to show for it. This life I'm talking about is
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: not in terms of money. It's often just in terms
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: of quality of life, because let me tell you something,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I know a lot of people with money ain't happy
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: at all. But I'm just talking about quality of life.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Having family, some friends, having relationships, being able to work,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: be happy, enjoying yourself. All of this is possible. But
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: grace is everything, man, it really really is. And to
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: get it, I think that the only thing I can
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: attest to mind is that he knows I'm grateful. And
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I will occasionally tell people about what he's done for me.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: I'm a living witness to that. I'm living witness to
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: his grace, his mercy, and his forgiveness because he did.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: If he hasn't forgiven me several times, I've been using though,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I've been used up my third opportunity. If I was
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: a cat, I've done my nine lives over and over
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: and over. He's forgiving me thousands and thousands sometimes, and
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: that's just grace, and that's mercy, and that's favored. But
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: it starts with gratitude. If you change your gratitude, it
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: affects your attitude, and once your attitude is affected, it
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: changes your altitude. Those are the tudes we're working on today.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Y'all have a great day, have a great we can
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: talk to God. He'd love to hear from me. PAS
