- 2:11Speaker 1: and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show, this one today.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I want to share with you. Uh. It's for all
- 2:20Speaker 1: of us. It's for all of us. Uh, And here
- 2:25Speaker 1: it is. There is a solution to all of your
- 2:32Speaker 1: problems in situations. There is a solution to all of
- 2:39Speaker 1: your problems and situations. If you are feeling this, are
- 2:48Speaker 1: you feeling desperate about something and anxious about it? Are
- 2:53Speaker 1: you feeling uncertain about anything? Are you at a loss
- 2:58Speaker 1: for words? Are you is your direction unclear? How about that?
- 3:06Speaker 1: If you can't find your purpose, that's a good one
- 3:10Speaker 1: that stops a lot of people. If you don't know
- 3:13Speaker 1: what your next move is, that's to go. I don't.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. If if if the
- 3:19Speaker 1: relationship you're in it's all wrong and you don't know
- 3:23Speaker 1: how to get out of it, it doesn't matter. There's
- 3:27Speaker 1: a solution to all your problems and situations. And that
- 3:34Speaker 1: solution without trying to sound like I've been knowing this
- 3:38Speaker 1: my whole life, because I haven't. That solution to all
- 3:44Speaker 1: your problems. That way to make all your dreams come true.
- 3:48Speaker 1: The way around a lot of this and to the
- 3:52Speaker 1: weakness that you feel at times, it's prayer, prayer, a
- 3:58Speaker 1: connection with your creator. Up. Could that be the thing
- 4:02Speaker 1: that's missing in your life. I'm just asking because whenever
- 4:08Speaker 1: I get a little bit off track, all I gotta
- 4:12Speaker 1: do is think, just a moment, Steve, have you been
- 4:16Speaker 1: Have you been praying? Man? Have you been connecting with
- 4:20Speaker 1: your creative? I know you're busy, man, I know you're busy,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and I know at the end of the day you're done.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You're done, and sometimes crawling into bed is all you
- 4:30Speaker 1: can manage to do. I've said this. It happened to
- 4:34Speaker 1: me last night again. I did all of this. But
- 4:38Speaker 1: when I look and when I see things not moving,
- 4:42Speaker 1: or I don't feel like things are going in the
- 4:45Speaker 1: right direction, or I have a sense of being stagnant,
- 4:48Speaker 1: all I got to do is retrace it. Because I'm working.
- 4:53Speaker 1: There's no doubt about that. I'm working. But I'm a
- 4:57Speaker 1: staying connected. Am I using that weapon that's available to
- 5:01Speaker 1: all of us? And I pray and the answer is
- 5:04Speaker 1: usually no? And so I know, okay, okay, man, I'm
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm getting off track hill because see, let me tell
- 5:10Speaker 1: you something, man. The reason the reason I constantly talk
- 5:14Speaker 1: to God is because life constantly changes. People who said
- 5:19Speaker 1: they was going to do something for you one day
- 5:21Speaker 1: have changed their mind the next. Somebody you thought was
- 5:26Speaker 1: gonna show up that day called in late, had an
- 5:29Speaker 1: accident and couldn't make it. That changes the parameters of everything.
- 5:34Speaker 1: The meeting you had set up that had to be
- 5:37Speaker 1: canceled because somebody was ill. That changes the parameters the
- 5:42Speaker 1: time frame of everything. Because it's all connected. So if
- 5:46Speaker 1: I don't stay in constant prayer and stay connected to
- 5:50Speaker 1: the creative when these things happen, I'm not put in
- 5:54Speaker 1: my bid. I'm not talked to him about how to
- 5:56Speaker 1: handle it. Oh, I'm just not aware of it and
- 5:59Speaker 1: what to do you next? And the next thing you know,
- 6:01Speaker 1: it becomes a little stagnant that has happened to me.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I gotta get back because prayer is the solution to
- 6:10Speaker 1: all of my problems and situations. I have found that
- 6:14Speaker 1: to be the case now. The only reason I'm telling
- 6:16Speaker 1: it to you is because I know if you anything
- 6:19Speaker 1: like me slash human being, then there are times that
- 6:24Speaker 1: you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation. You have moments
- 6:29Speaker 1: of uncertainty. There are times when you feel like you've
- 6:33Speaker 1: lost your way, or your direction is unclear, or you
- 6:39Speaker 1: or your purpose is a little blurred. You're not shooing anymore,
- 6:44Speaker 1: or you don't know what your next movie is, or
- 6:45Speaker 1: the relationship you in or the relationships you're dabbling in.
- 6:49Speaker 1: They're just all wrong for you. Man, there is a
- 6:55Speaker 1: solution to all your problems and situations, and it's prayer.
- 7:00Speaker 1: If you're suffering from any of the things I just listed,
- 7:03Speaker 1: or any other thing you could think of, just check
- 7:06Speaker 1: your prayer. What has your prayer been lately? About it?
- 7:10Speaker 1: And this is for everybody. I often find when I
- 7:15Speaker 1: get that disconnection. Man, my my prayer and slipped off.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I started feeling a little bit less, so I gotta
- 7:23Speaker 1: jump back on it. I'm just offering you a solution
- 7:25Speaker 1: to it, man, and and and and and and I'm
- 7:28Speaker 1: giving you a solution that works one of the thousand
- 7:31Speaker 1: percent for show. See, I ain't guessing at this one.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm telling you what has happened in my life, how
- 7:38Speaker 1: I did it, and it'll do for you. God has
- 7:41Speaker 1: filled with mercy and grace. He knows we all messed up.
- 7:46Speaker 1: He knows all of us have done some jacked up
- 7:48Speaker 1: things that don't nobody know about. He know all about
- 7:52Speaker 1: our past. Man, he know all of that. But he
- 7:56Speaker 1: is so full of grace and mercy, so full of
- 8:00Speaker 1: fifty five chances. But you know the thing about your
- 8:03Speaker 1: life though, and the thing I had to come to
- 8:06Speaker 1: terms with, and the reason I don't let my my
- 8:08Speaker 1: out of the reason I don't let my past bury me,
- 8:11Speaker 1: The reason I don't let my past define me is
- 8:14Speaker 1: because my past I found out, or just the ingredients
- 8:22Speaker 1: needed for me to make this cake I'm eating now.
- 8:29Speaker 1: My past is just my ingredients. See you, you don't
- 8:32Speaker 1: get rid of your past. They they ain't going know
- 8:36Speaker 1: where they are the ingredients, but when you put them
- 8:39Speaker 1: with something else, they look better, they taste better, It
- 8:43Speaker 1: is better. All of our past are just the ingredients
- 8:48Speaker 1: that have become the cake we eating now. Now, if
- 8:50Speaker 1: you don't like the way your cake taste, then you
- 8:53Speaker 1: gotta stop putting some other ingredients in there. Just because
- 8:56Speaker 1: you started off and your cake was messed up, don't
- 8:59Speaker 1: mean you came straighten out the flavor of your cake.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You gotta put some different ingredients in there. So let's
- 9:06Speaker 1: say your cake is trifling tasted, it's better. Your cake
- 9:10Speaker 1: is better. Well, you got to dilute the bitterness. You
- 9:13Speaker 1: gotta put some more goodness in there. So you gotta
- 9:16Speaker 1: put some goodness ingredients to to take away the taste
- 9:20Speaker 1: of the bitterness. So you gotta put some different ingredients
- 9:25Speaker 1: in there. You gotta start living your life a little
- 9:27Speaker 1: more kindly, a little more thoughtful, a little more sharing,
- 9:30Speaker 1: a little more caring. And then after a while, man,
- 9:33Speaker 1: those new ingredients combined with that bitter it starts overshadowing
- 9:38Speaker 1: the bitter taste because the bitter taste is further behind you. Now,
- 9:42Speaker 1: see something that happened to you twelve fifteen thirty sixteen
- 9:47Speaker 1: years ago. Ain't got to be the flavor that's in
- 9:50Speaker 1: your mouth now unless you let it be. It's the ingredients. Man.
- 9:57Speaker 1: If you're sicking away your cake tasting, change your INGREDI is,
- 10:01Speaker 1: put something else in your cake mix so you can
- 10:04Speaker 1: get a better taste if you don't like the way
- 10:08Speaker 1: your life taste. Pray Prayer changes things. I'm telling you,
- 10:14Speaker 1: I've been here my mama saying for years, boy, prayer
- 10:17Speaker 1: changes things. Do you hear me? Prayer changes things? Don't
- 10:24Speaker 1: my mama? You said to me all the time. I
- 10:26Speaker 1: said to my TV artist, is when they come see
- 10:28Speaker 1: me on the talk show, before I walk on stage,
- 10:30Speaker 1: I tell them these words my mother said. I said,
- 10:33Speaker 1: my mother used to always tell me this, and it's
- 10:35Speaker 1: bailed me out, and it might do the same thing
- 10:37Speaker 1: for you. I said, whatever I get in trouble, I
- 10:41Speaker 1: hear her words. She says, son, don't forget to pray,
- 10:46Speaker 1: don't be ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud
- 10:49Speaker 1: to pray, because prayer, prayer changes things, and you better
- 10:54Speaker 1: believe something. It one hundred percent showed. Do you're listening, Steve,
- 11:05Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, boys, and girls, everybody might have your attention.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Please Steve Harping Martin Show is now open running. We
- 11:11Speaker 1: owning Cracking Charlotte. Hey, Steve, welcome back. How is your
- 11:14Speaker 1: day off? Uh? It wasn't a day off, but I
- 11:20Speaker 1: appreciate you asking who it was a day off from radio.
- 11:24Speaker 1: But I have a fool run. I appreciate it though.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I do appreciate you all stepping in holding the fold down.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Appreciate Kevin Hart come here doing the thing boy crazy.
- 11:34Speaker 1: He the only dude I let just do the show
- 11:37Speaker 1: to trust nobody, but make sure Jay ain't on it
- 11:40Speaker 1: when he owned some ignorance. And you know what I'm
- 11:46Speaker 1: going to First of all, Hello, call Hello Steve and
- 11:52Speaker 1: the food Top Top. I've got to find a way
- 11:56Speaker 1: to control j Anthony Brown, and I think it's a
- 11:59Speaker 1: good time to talk about it on the too damn
- 12:04Speaker 1: much right now. And I've got to get his ass
- 12:07Speaker 1: on the control. What's wrong? I just got to find
- 12:11Speaker 1: a way what okay, what is he doing that? That's
- 12:15Speaker 1: particular everything. First of all, we got to find out
- 12:19Speaker 1: a way to do something with this breathing. We got
- 12:23Speaker 1: to fix this breathing. You know what, Steve, the other night,
- 12:27Speaker 1: I was watching the State of the Union address and
- 12:31Speaker 1: he does not breathe as much as the president or
- 12:34Speaker 1: so I was like, okay, Jay gets a pass because
- 12:37Speaker 1: the president was breathing. Okay, I've been off, but I
- 12:41Speaker 1: watched the address off and over. Uh the parts I
- 12:47Speaker 1: did get to see. Yeah, he stuck strictly to the
- 12:50Speaker 1: script prompted. Uh, that's the one thing they gnawed at him.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So he played the role. He didn't get off that night.
- 13:00Speaker 1: He stayed on script the whole night. Yeah, I didn't.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I don't. I'll tell you that the four black parents
- 13:08Speaker 1: that were up there, Uh, that that broke my heart. Man,
- 13:12Speaker 1: That brother, man, I'm telling you man, that brother made
- 13:17Speaker 1: me cry. I felt. Man. He was just sitting there. Man,
- 13:21Speaker 1: he broke my heart. He he made me cry. Man.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I sitting there cause because that boys and some pay
- 13:26Speaker 1: all of them work. But I can identify with a man,
- 13:32Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like that because I know
- 13:34Speaker 1: he want to do something, definitely, because that dude wanta
- 13:38Speaker 1: do something, man, and he couldn't. That was it. Here's
- 13:42Speaker 1: the thing that I do not like about the presidential
- 13:45Speaker 1: State of Address. All the bibartisan standing up, clapping, partisan
- 13:53Speaker 1: partisan whatever you call it. I can't stand that he
- 13:58Speaker 1: ain't saying nothing so damn found. Yeah that's what we
- 14:06Speaker 1: should have counted. How many tactics I'm telling you, Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm telling you that that's that's the most aggravating part
- 14:15Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, that draws the already boring speech out.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And he wouldn't. He very rarely turned I want to
- 14:27Speaker 1: he very rarely turned to the democratic side. He was
- 14:29Speaker 1: playing to the plause. That was That was it. I
- 14:32Speaker 1: don't talk about all right, Well, it's Black History Months.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Steve so Junior is here with a little known Black
- 14:37Speaker 1: history facts. We'll be back at thirty two after you're
- 14:42Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Can we go
- 14:46Speaker 1: with something funny? First day of February Jr. Is here
- 14:49Speaker 1: with little known Black history facts as he does. You
- 14:53Speaker 1: do this every black every Black History Month, because there's
- 14:56Speaker 1: always something to learn. Sure, thank you call it is
- 14:59Speaker 1: all is something we can grow on us. Nothing I
- 15:02Speaker 1: am becomes important, Tommy, look uh grow with Jay Chaplin Grover.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Y'all don't even know who that he is doing. You know,
- 15:11Speaker 1: they want to show y'all something. Colin Kaepernick was not
- 15:14Speaker 1: the first one to take a knee. Okay, no, no, no, no.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Grover Jay Chaplin back in nineteen six in Black Creek,
- 15:23Speaker 1: North Carolina, played for the Chattanooga Black Lookouts. Your last
- 15:31Speaker 1: this in the Negro League, now the Chattoga Black Lookout.
- 15:38Speaker 1: All I'm saying is this the same team Satchel Paige
- 15:41Speaker 1: played baseball. Grover Jay Chaplin paid third base. They own
- 15:48Speaker 1: an eighty five game losing street Meatball, oh and eighty
- 15:54Speaker 1: four as a starting pitcher. Find out Satchel paid who better? Better?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Was not pitching? Played third base on one knee for
- 16:05Speaker 1: the rest of his career, never stood again. That's grow
- 16:09Speaker 1: with Jay chap So he was the first one to
- 16:11Speaker 1: take a knee. Took a knee in the game though, Wow,
- 16:14Speaker 1: nobody even knew it. Sestr Page went on to win
- 16:16Speaker 1: two thousand baseball games. He went from picture yeah on
- 16:21Speaker 1: his one knee. They finally he wasn't playing here the
- 16:25Speaker 1: Norman I don't even know about two. Can I interrupt
- 16:27Speaker 1: you for just one second. I'd like to add a
- 16:30Speaker 1: correction to that. In eighteen forty one, the actual person
- 16:34Speaker 1: that actually took the first knee of first Black to
- 16:37Speaker 1: take a knee was meat Hook Zoomba. Who is that?
- 16:44Speaker 1: He was a slave. He was in the field picking
- 16:46Speaker 1: cotton and he just decided he wasn't picking no damn
- 16:49Speaker 1: b so he took a knee right there was his name,
- 16:55Speaker 1: him meets twelve way before. Yeah, callin Coopernika, all these
- 17:07Speaker 1: people you're talking about meat hook took the first went on,
- 17:12Speaker 1: took a knee in that field. I ain't picking a
- 17:14Speaker 1: damn thing else today. Do what you want to do.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Who I didn't get? Yeah, I'm sorry, y'all. Y'all heard,
- 17:23Speaker 1: y'all heard about Gail Lien mccolor or back in him
- 17:30Speaker 1: to first person to whoop somebody with a red tail comb.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. She had nothing. Now, she
- 17:40Speaker 1: also the first person that said don't you move? Don't
- 17:43Speaker 1: you went down here? After that redtail cones, they sold it,
- 17:50Speaker 1: they saw it and sail to this day, yeah there
- 17:55Speaker 1: we think shot out shot. See yeah, people getting popped
- 18:03Speaker 1: by retail coats to this day. Ye, billy, and you
- 18:08Speaker 1: can't run. You can't run because she had that. Your
- 18:15Speaker 1: go home and ask that's a little known black anything, Steve,
- 18:22Speaker 1: did you know that? Because that you didn't say anything.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I was junior, young, so I don't want to dispute
- 18:29Speaker 1: that one right there. Somebody, Well, she wasn't the first
- 18:33Speaker 1: one to say, don't you move? You're talking about but uh,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I can't. I don't know who mama made you that one.
- 18:43Speaker 1: That a little bit before nineteen seven nine, Harvey said
- 18:47Speaker 1: it to me clearly you lost Vera Harvey, your mama.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Well she's what happened? What were you doing moving around?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Damn much? Well don't you move? Move again? And see
- 19:08Speaker 1: what happened. I was three, then we gotta go further
- 19:14Speaker 1: back then. I knew how to be still. At three,
- 19:16Speaker 1: I learned be still with you all my life had
- 19:21Speaker 1: to be like when it were real hot outside in
- 19:23Speaker 1: the room, in my room, by slept in at it
- 19:25Speaker 1: when it was real mom is hot up here, be still.
- 19:28Speaker 1: See I've been learning how to be still my whole life.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You've been told when you got real hot, just be still.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Now you just feel like dying. Yeah, yeah, dropping knowledge
- 19:42Speaker 1: was good for the first day of black absolutely, Yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 1: thank you. And I see that. I did want to
- 19:46Speaker 1: ask you where you finished with your thoughts in the
- 19:48Speaker 1: State of the Union from the President. Yeah, you know
- 19:50Speaker 1: I listened to it, um, you know, for him for him.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It was an excellent speech for him because and they
- 20:01Speaker 1: drilled him to stay the course. So what he did
- 20:04Speaker 1: was he had a chance and opportunity to lay out
- 20:10Speaker 1: the Republican agenda so we could clearly see it. But
- 20:14Speaker 1: you had to be careful, man, because I did not
- 20:17Speaker 1: like the immigration way that he was talking about doing
- 20:21Speaker 1: it because c it's not enough for him. Like he
- 20:24Speaker 1: was trying to talk about the dreamers right in a
- 20:26Speaker 1: positive way, but then he says, we was talking about
- 20:29Speaker 1: America first and America's kids first, and then he said
- 20:33Speaker 1: because Americans are dreamers too, Not that right there? Man.
- 20:38Speaker 1: See is that type of talk right there. That's scary
- 20:42Speaker 1: when you peel the banana back because you don't have
- 20:45Speaker 1: to say that America a dreamers too. But what you're
- 20:48Speaker 1: trying to do is slight the actual docer program which
- 20:53Speaker 1: is created. Fuck the real dreamers were not you was
- 20:57Speaker 1: born in America, anybody from the deport you and if
- 21:00Speaker 1: I if it to take your opportunity. He definitely got
- 21:03Speaker 1: the dream that right there. Man. Was so wrong of
- 21:07Speaker 1: him then to blame illegal immigrants for coming over here
- 21:13Speaker 1: and reducing the wage rate of regular hard working Americans
- 21:18Speaker 1: who could get jobs. That's such an untrue thing, the
- 21:21Speaker 1: falsehood of trying to make it like illegal immigrants allowing
- 21:25Speaker 1: the wage scale for a needy working Americans. It's not true.
- 21:30Speaker 1: But who hired him y'all rich people, so y'all can
- 21:34Speaker 1: have a better and a higher profit margin. That's what's
- 21:37Speaker 1: going on. And for him to paint the other pictures
- 21:40Speaker 1: is dangerous. I didn't like it. All right, Steve, thank you, nephew.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Tell me he's run that prank back is coming up
- 21:46Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 21:50Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour MS and
- 21:52Speaker 1: will be here with today's national news. But right now
- 21:55Speaker 1: it is time for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Now the rain, what the Ring? It ain't Lord of
- 22:03Speaker 1: the Ring, It's just the ring. Movie man kid is
- 22:10Speaker 1: running back cat. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach an Yes,
- 22:16Speaker 1: this is Hi Denied. My name is Gavin. I'm I'm
- 22:19Speaker 1: actually the head jeweler here diamonds. Know how you doing.
- 22:22Speaker 1: I'm good. You brought your ring in what was it
- 22:25Speaker 1: last week? I actually wasn't here, but you gave it
- 22:27Speaker 1: to one of my sales persons and you wanted to
- 22:30Speaker 1: get it resized as well as getting a praise. Correct, yes, yes, yes,
- 22:35Speaker 1: and you don't have to tell him my own okay, wow, okay, listen,
- 22:42Speaker 1: I actually do the resize of the ring. And first
- 22:44Speaker 1: of all, let me be the person say, um, congratulations,
- 22:47Speaker 1: when when is your wedding? Thank you, I'm getting married
- 22:50Speaker 1: and stuff come there, well, congratulations to listen. I don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: know how to tell you this now as far as
- 22:56Speaker 1: your praiser list concern, I've looked at your ring over
- 22:59Speaker 1: and over and this this ring is probably worth maybe
- 23:04Speaker 1: fifty Do excuse me. I've been I've been in this
- 23:09Speaker 1: business for over twenty years. But you know what, I'm
- 23:11Speaker 1: confused on what you just said. And I understand that
- 23:13Speaker 1: what I'm trying to explain to you is that I've
- 23:15Speaker 1: been in this business for over twenty years. I've seen
- 23:17Speaker 1: so many different pieces of jewelry and this is something
- 23:20Speaker 1: that you that you buy late night on an infomercial.
- 23:24Speaker 1: For this is a Cubic Saconian stone and the gold
- 23:30Speaker 1: is not real at all. It's like, wait, you wait,
- 23:33Speaker 1: you lost me. You lost me as much money as
- 23:35Speaker 1: my fan make and as much money as my father
- 23:38Speaker 1: is putting down on his winding or half put down,
- 23:41Speaker 1: and you're gonna understand everything you're saying. But Denise, honestly,
- 23:45Speaker 1: what do is hold on? Wait? I need you to
- 23:48Speaker 1: hold on because we need to convict us. Wait wait, man,
- 23:52Speaker 1: First of all, I can't wait. Wait wait wait wait wait,
- 23:55Speaker 1: hold hold on. I'm you wait wait wait what are
- 24:02Speaker 1: you trying to what you're trying to do? I need
- 24:05Speaker 1: I need you to repeat because what you just said
- 24:08Speaker 1: to me, okay, need of personal stuff? Man? You oh
- 24:12Speaker 1: you hit it. It's personal now, So I need you
- 24:14Speaker 1: to hold on. Okay, oh she calling man? Okay, thank
- 24:21Speaker 1: thank Hello, victim. I want you to listen to this
- 24:25Speaker 1: jewel that's on the phone. I want you to hit it.
- 24:27Speaker 1: And he just told me what's what's the problem? What
- 24:29Speaker 1: you mean, what's the problem. He's gonna tell you what
- 24:31Speaker 1: the problem is. Gonna hit on, sir, gonna hit on. Hello. Yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 1: who's this all right? My name is Gavin. I'm from
- 24:37Speaker 1: Diamonds and actually your wife, I mean where your fiance rather,
- 24:41Speaker 1: she brought her ring in to actually be re sized,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and we we also did an appraisal on the ring
- 24:47Speaker 1: for her and actually the ring is estimated to be
- 24:51Speaker 1: only in the words of around fifty dollars. Fifty that's
- 24:57Speaker 1: what the man said, dollars and he sweater, sir. Obviously
- 25:01Speaker 1: there's some sort of mistakes, sir. Now what you got
- 25:03Speaker 1: to say about that fifty dollars, that's that's got to
- 25:07Speaker 1: be some kind of mistakes. What did you say your
- 25:09Speaker 1: name was, sir? My name is Gavin. I work here Domonds.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm the head jeweler here. I've been here for twenty years,
- 25:14Speaker 1: and there's there's no way that that ring is worth
- 25:18Speaker 1: fifty dollars. I know what I paid for it, So
- 25:20Speaker 1: obviously there's some sort of mistakes. There's out a mistake.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I've been dealing with Jrewlry, I've seen it. I can't
- 25:26Speaker 1: pretty much look at a ring, but I actually went
- 25:28Speaker 1: into detail on this one, as I do all of them,
- 25:31Speaker 1: and so I promise you this is probably maybe between
- 25:34Speaker 1: forty and fifty dollars for his workers. Absolutely not. That's
- 25:38Speaker 1: that's impossible. How is that impossible? He's the jeweler you
- 25:41Speaker 1: heard him say, he's been doing it for twenty He's impossible.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I don't understand all the money that my dad is
- 25:47Speaker 1: putting down on this wedding and you don't pay fifty
- 25:51Speaker 1: You bought a cheap ring, sir. No, no, no, I
- 25:53Speaker 1: did not buy a team. This is this is this
- 25:56Speaker 1: is obviously some kind of mistake. You don't got to
- 25:58Speaker 1: you that you show got that right? So what you
- 26:01Speaker 1: got to safe for yourself? You kid, I believe that
- 26:05Speaker 1: that's right, that this is obviously some kind of Oh
- 26:08Speaker 1: it is a mistake. I'm mistake and thinking I'm gonna
- 26:11Speaker 1: get married to the man of my dream. I do
- 26:13Speaker 1: have the engagement ring that was purchased and bought for
- 26:16Speaker 1: your wife, and I would think you I don't think
- 26:18Speaker 1: you do. I don't think you have my ring, because
- 26:19Speaker 1: if you have my ring, you wouldn't be telling me
- 26:21Speaker 1: this is wort. I have the ring that your wife,
- 26:25Speaker 1: your fiance brought in and his wife. Yet hold on,
- 26:28Speaker 1: hold on, the man trying to explain, I'm trying to
- 26:30Speaker 1: get to the box. Thank you, So you have I
- 26:33Speaker 1: don't think you have the right ring. I have the
- 26:36Speaker 1: right ring. And what I'm letting you know, sir, is
- 26:38Speaker 1: that this is something you buy on an infomercial in
- 26:40Speaker 1: the two in the morning on that dude, you know
- 26:45Speaker 1: I ain't botto damn ring on infomercial. I bought the
- 26:47Speaker 1: ring from a reputable establishment. I have the receipt, I
- 26:51Speaker 1: have the certificate. So obviously the mistake is on your
- 26:54Speaker 1: and where you're the mistakes out here? Sta, you bought
- 26:57Speaker 1: a piece of jump. He's doing it all the aid
- 27:00Speaker 1: of hell. He's gonna make a mistake where you come
- 27:02Speaker 1: off telling me I bought a piece of jump. I
- 27:04Speaker 1: know what I bought. If there's any mistakes that's been made,
- 27:07Speaker 1: it's on your end world, where it's not on my end. Yeah,
- 27:10Speaker 1: Hold don't, don't, lady, you want things that my dad
- 27:15Speaker 1: is paying too much money for this wedding, so you're
- 27:17Speaker 1: down on pay dollars. You wait till I tell him this. Chill.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Hold on. First of all, I don't appreciate you. I
- 27:24Speaker 1: want to tell you this. This is a typical case
- 27:26Speaker 1: of you're trying to pawn it off on us because
- 27:28Speaker 1: you for fifty bucks money make and I get fifty
- 27:33Speaker 1: dollars worth of a ring. Then he's hold on, let
- 27:35Speaker 1: me talk to this. Where you do? I never heard
- 27:39Speaker 1: of it. So your wife knows exactly where the shoes
- 27:43Speaker 1: the one that brought the ring, And I'll tell you
- 27:45Speaker 1: what I'm gonna come down there to see the ring
- 27:47Speaker 1: that you're talking about. If it's not the ring that
- 27:49Speaker 1: I gave my girl, I'm gonna take seventy six hundred
- 27:52Speaker 1: dollars out of your because that's so. Now you want
- 27:56Speaker 1: to jump on me because you bought your wife a piece.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Come on, you want to put it on make you
- 28:01Speaker 1: You don't tell me what the I know what the
- 28:04Speaker 1: I spin on the ring and you I don't kind
- 28:05Speaker 1: of trying to pull. First of all, I appreciate you
- 28:08Speaker 1: coming in my household, trying to mess my and you
- 28:10Speaker 1: want to come to me with this. I know the
- 28:12Speaker 1: ring gotta be real. If I were you, miss the niece,
- 28:15Speaker 1: I would not marry somebody that's gonna be I'm coming.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I'm looking for your pocket, and you know what. You
- 28:21Speaker 1: don't get the ring and a right me and you're
- 28:23Speaker 1: gonna go in it. Could I say one more thing
- 28:25Speaker 1: to both of you all better? I tell you what
- 28:27Speaker 1: if they say that I don't want to hear me,
- 28:28Speaker 1: and you're gonna have some more problems. This is Mathew,
- 28:30Speaker 1: you tell me from the Steve Arvin Morning Show. Y'all
- 28:33Speaker 1: just got prank. But the niece's sister that that why
- 28:43Speaker 1: she ain't got no man to be man. Wow, that's
- 28:50Speaker 1: how cool till you're about to start think, I'm sorry, baby,
- 28:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I would make I gotta ask
- 29:01Speaker 1: you'll something. What is the baddest radio show in the law? Wow?
- 29:11Speaker 1: Uh yeah, you need medical attention right up there with
- 29:15Speaker 1: the State of the Nephew, right up there with that.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Stay the stupid baby hell. Y'all want to look at it,
- 29:21Speaker 1: go to Thomas Miles dot com. The latest c D
- 29:24Speaker 1: is in Walmart across the country. It's called Won't He
- 29:27Speaker 1: Do It? Won't He Do It? Won't He Do It?
- 29:29Speaker 1: And Yes, I did? It? Is in Walmart. Get your
- 29:32Speaker 1: this is the church I am made off in prank

- 29:40Speaker 1: to Walmart ta take a picture with him buying some
- 29:43Speaker 1: of them, you know. And he's got a lot of
- 29:45Speaker 1: Instagram followers and stuff, so he was helping tell me
- 29:48Speaker 1: out that way. So that was nice of him. What's
- 29:50Speaker 1: your goal on your prank CD sales? What's your goal?
- 29:53Speaker 1: What are your targeting? Five hundred thousand? Y'all ain't gonna

- 30:17Speaker 1: the pushback now since I see it be. I just
- 30:19Speaker 1: don't want to boycott for you. Okay, you're listening to
- 30:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey show. Well, this past Tuesday night, all eyes
- 30:31Speaker 1: were on two women, and President Donald Trump's like his
- 30:34Speaker 1: wife Melania, and the pegn star named guts This, Stormy Daniels.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Stormy Daniels. Yeah. Since allegations surface that Stormy slept with
- 30:45Speaker 1: Trump in the months right after the birth of his
- 30:48Speaker 1: son Baron Trump, Milania has avoided him. Okay. Insiders told
- 30:53Speaker 1: The New York Times that she's furious with Donald Trump
- 30:56Speaker 1: and last week they never acknowledged that. I didn't even
- 30:59Speaker 1: know this. Did you guys know? Last week it was
- 31:00Speaker 1: their thirteenth wedding anniversary. Know why because they didn't acknowledge
- 31:05Speaker 1: it Because she cat him? Yeah, us her hands. I
- 31:09Speaker 1: don't never remember she canceled her trip to Davos when
- 31:12Speaker 1: he was going over to Swiss switch. I believe it
- 31:15Speaker 1: when Baron was leaving the hospital as a baby, an infant.
- 31:25Speaker 1: But but who's fit making this report? Because by storm? Yeah,
- 31:30Speaker 1: who's who's come up with this? Because she's denied everything. Yeah,
- 31:34Speaker 1: now she's showing a backtrack a little bit on her. Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: well she got paid off a hundred and thirty thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I would never say that she got paid off. You know.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Reportedly she was on Jimmy Kimmel this week too, and
- 31:47Speaker 1: she didn't say a whole whole lot of joke. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:51Speaker 1: hey what again? It was Harlom Nights. Her name was
- 31:53Speaker 1: what shin Sunshine? Turned in the Sunshine? That just one.
- 31:57Speaker 1: He just turned into a store on me. Well, it
- 32:03Speaker 1: might be something to it because Melania did uh come
- 32:06Speaker 1: to the State of the Union address alone? And they said,
- 32:09Speaker 1: that's the first that the first lady has not come
- 32:12Speaker 1: to the State of Union address with her husband. Hey,
- 32:15Speaker 1: y'all got three the first time something never has lacking
- 32:22Speaker 1: the road through here. We have to do this exercise.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Have you guys ever heard about this? Your your porn
- 32:27Speaker 1: star name, how you come up with it? It's your pets,
- 32:31Speaker 1: your first pets name, and the first street that you
- 32:34Speaker 1: lived on as a kid. So let's do that real quick. Okay, Okay,
- 32:37Speaker 1: I'll start say it again. It's your first pet. I
- 32:41Speaker 1: think it's the name of your first pet and the
- 32:42Speaker 1: streets you lived on as a kid. That's your porn
- 32:45Speaker 1: star name in the first street. Uh huh, your street.
- 32:49Speaker 1: So I'll start like mine would be Sparky Cornell, Cornell, Cornell,
- 32:58Speaker 1: It's Chicago. What's your well dog? Our first dog was Ginger.
- 33:03Speaker 1: That ain't for no man. My street was Green Fall,
- 33:09Speaker 1: so I get Ginger Green. That ain't that ain't rentals?
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah coming, that isn't sexy. Mine is not sexy. Sheridan's
- 33:28Speaker 1: dog's name was Reggie and our street was Union. Reggie
- 33:32Speaker 1: Union Trade. Take this Ginger, I take that red Ginger
- 33:41Speaker 1: prim roll. That's that's mixed emotion. My first dog name
- 33:48Speaker 1: was different dog. Cain't Weirdlie you you came up with that.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Sparky my doll's name. I got to come up with that.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I think that's the formula. Journal may not mistaken or
- 34:06Speaker 1: something like that. Reggie Union, Marquis Cornell and oh kanki
- 34:24Speaker 1: Ah take us to miss Ann Steve and thank you everybody.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I guess mine would be what albany astro or astro. Okay,
- 34:35Speaker 1: it doesn't work out for me. All right, Good morning everybody.
- 34:37Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news and here we go.
- 34:40Speaker 1: The White House has announced it's going to be conducting
- 34:42Speaker 1: a national security review before Donald Trump decides whether to
- 34:45Speaker 1: release a controversial and widely disputed memo that claims that
- 34:49Speaker 1: both the FBI and the Justice Department improperly spied on
- 34:53Speaker 1: his presidential campaign. And that's even though the President is
- 34:55Speaker 1: said to be in favor of releasing the memo anyway,
- 34:58Speaker 1: the Justice Department has already said that releasing the memo
- 35:01Speaker 1: would act be extraordinarily reckless. Those their words from the
- 35:05Speaker 1: Justice Department, and the FBI says it has quote grave
- 35:08Speaker 1: concerns about the accuracy of the questionable memo. They're saying
- 35:12Speaker 1: that a lot of the information and it has been
- 35:14Speaker 1: judged up, switched, changed, and kind of made to look
- 35:17Speaker 1: more damaging and dastardly than it really is. Meanwhile, the
- 35:20Speaker 1: Democrats on Capitol Hill are openly critical of President Trump's
- 35:24Speaker 1: decision not to impose earlier agreed upon sanctions on nations
- 35:28Speaker 1: buying arms from Russia. Last some of the Congress vote
- 35:30Speaker 1: overwhelmingly for those sanctions to take effect yesterday. However, the
- 35:34Speaker 1: Trump administration informed the Congress that's simply putting countries on
- 35:38Speaker 1: notice about the upcoming sanctions. Apparently did the trick and scutts,
- 35:42Speaker 1: so he scuttled billions of dollars worth of Russian arms
- 35:44Speaker 1: sales by just saying that they were worried about it. However,
- 35:47Speaker 1: House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi questions the numbers that the
- 35:50Speaker 1: President came out with and send a Democratic lea to
- 35:52Speaker 1: Charles Schumer is also suspicious? President so afraid to sanction
- 35:57Speaker 1: putent his associates, or rather up the Russian actors and officials.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Why is President Trump giving Pootin a free pass when
- 36:05Speaker 1: he attacked our democracy? What is he so afraid of
- 36:10Speaker 1: the White House did did give Congress a list of
- 36:13Speaker 1: wealthy and powerful Russians who could be sanctioned. They don't
- 36:16Speaker 1: know where that list came from. The heads of Amazon, JP,
- 36:18Speaker 1: Morson Chase, and Berkshire Halthaway Investments have joint forces get
- 36:22Speaker 1: this to actually create a company that they hope will
- 36:24Speaker 1: make healthcare cheaper and easier to acquire. The three execs
- 36:27Speaker 1: are going to initially only target their employees, which all
- 36:30Speaker 1: together add up to some half a million workers in
- 36:32Speaker 1: the U S alone. They say the company will focus
- 36:34Speaker 1: on technology and that the goal will be not to
- 36:37Speaker 1: make money. After the announcement, shares of healthcare related companies
- 36:40Speaker 1: on the stock market fell. According to a report, states
- 36:43Speaker 1: are benefiting from legalization of marijuana the Drug Policy Alliance,
- 36:47Speaker 1: as it found that pot related the rest are down
- 36:49Speaker 1: while revenues are up in states where weed is now legal. Also,
- 36:52Speaker 1: despite predictions and warnings, the report found no increase in
- 36:56Speaker 1: marijuana use by kids under twenty one and actually lower
- 36:59Speaker 1: rate of opioid related incidents. Advocates say the report provides
- 37:03Speaker 1: strong support for the state efforts to legalize weed. And finally,
- 37:07Speaker 1: today is National Hula in the cooler day. Okay, back
- 37:14Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Eenie Butterfly coming up
- 37:16Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour you're listening to the Steve
- 37:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Steve come on and introduced the butterfly
- 37:23Speaker 1: for today. Be nice, have some sort of something. Eugene,
- 37:32Speaker 1: Good morning everyone, Good morning Steven, Tommy, Shirley, Carline Junior,
- 37:36Speaker 1: Good morning to everyone. You're so happy to butterfly. It's
- 37:41Speaker 1: happy That's what I wanted to about Steven. Have you
- 37:45Speaker 1: heard the news? Oh my god. So he hasn't made
- 37:49Speaker 1: a decision here, But anyway, Kevin hard Is may possibly
- 37:52Speaker 1: allow me Eugene Antoine Parkerson to go on his one
- 37:56Speaker 1: city tour. He's got to go out of the country
- 37:58Speaker 1: and in the country or someone to. So I'm so excited.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I just want you to put a word in from
- 38:03Speaker 1: me about that. I'm a very good opener. It clear.
- 38:08Speaker 1: See I don't remember the conversation already called me and
- 38:15Speaker 1: you're not going yesterday? Wait a minute, no, no, no,
- 38:21Speaker 1: I want to believe listen. Is that a possible way
- 38:24Speaker 1: you can put a word in for me that I
- 38:25Speaker 1: can go out and do a very good fifteen minutes opening. See.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Let me ask you something though, if you do that,
- 38:32Speaker 1: how would you feel your obligation here on the show
- 38:36Speaker 1: when when you and time he gonna do something, y'all
- 38:39Speaker 1: do it a lot of remote from somewhere else and
- 38:41Speaker 1: they set it out for you all. And you don't
- 38:44Speaker 1: even have a parisport. No, I don't have a passport
- 38:48Speaker 1: as of yet. But yeah, well closer, you can go
- 38:53Speaker 1: get clothes, you can get out of the country. Is
- 38:55Speaker 1: you gonna have to go just like New Mexico. That's close.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Yeah he not doing the Mexical. That's not gonna work.
- 39:03Speaker 1: At least you'll be there, but it's not I want
- 39:07Speaker 1: the guy wo open up, go to Hawaii's stage. That's nice, Yeah,
- 39:13Speaker 1: you real nice, but that I'd be just one. That's nothing.
- 39:17Speaker 1: You got to start somewhere, butterfly. I mean it's paradise.
- 39:21Speaker 1: So what you're saying, Stephen, is my role here on
- 39:24Speaker 1: the show was very important and you wouldn't want to
- 39:26Speaker 1: You want to make sure that I'm here working aside
- 39:29Speaker 1: alongside you. Is that what you're saying. I just said,
- 39:31Speaker 1: how would you fulfill your obligations? Because the day you
- 39:33Speaker 1: missed is the day you five Steve, you had you
- 39:39Speaker 1: miss yesterday. But my missing yesterday wasn't to do to
- 39:45Speaker 1: perform a job somewhere else. You said you did something
- 39:49Speaker 1: somewhere else. That's what you're saying. All I did was
- 39:52Speaker 1: I took off to let my friend Kevin Hart come
- 39:54Speaker 1: on the Handling Show and promote all his business. I
- 39:56Speaker 1: do that oftentimes with him. If you have some business,
- 39:58Speaker 1: I let you do the show. But we all know
- 40:00Speaker 1: you don't have well, when I get somebody that you're
- 40:02Speaker 1: gonna say, you're gonna take off and let me leave
- 40:04Speaker 1: the show. No, what are you so intent? We gotta
- 40:09Speaker 1: go with you. We have to coming down. Please, thank you.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Butterfly coming up at thirty four after the hour. We
- 40:18Speaker 1: might finish. Yeah, we have to finish this. Uh name
- 40:22Speaker 1: is Eugene. Alright, come on, thank you, Butterfly coming up
- 40:28Speaker 1: at thirty four after the hours. Some super Bowl party. Man,
- 40:32Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Super Bowl
- 40:36Speaker 1: snack favorites can differ depending on where you live in
- 40:39Speaker 1: the country. Of course, the super Bowl is this weekend,
- 40:41Speaker 1: this Sunday, and Google has crunched the data to reveal
- 40:46Speaker 1: the most uniquely searched Super Bowl recipes in each state,
- 40:50Speaker 1: and some may surprise you or give you ideas for

- 50:37Speaker 1: caunsel this reservation. She can fall back in as far
- 50:40Speaker 1: as I'm concerned. This is the better walk up in
- 50:43Speaker 1: here right now. Then walk up in here right now,
- 50:45Speaker 1: because she this is just let's let's just slow let's

- 51:10Speaker 1: for my day and Winton ring. Wow. Okay, well I'll
- 51:13Speaker 1: tell you what, sir. Is there any way I can
- 51:15Speaker 1: I can call back and speak to Martina so I

- 51:41Speaker 1: hang on. Okay, now listen. What I have to do
- 51:44Speaker 1: is I have to talk to the person that made
- 51:45Speaker 1: the reservation in order to cancel it. Now, you tell
- 51:48Speaker 1: me your counseling right now, but I need to hear
- 51:51Speaker 1: that from miss Martina that it's caused me. Did she
- 51:54Speaker 1: get that she's gonna even talk to you? You can
- 51:55Speaker 1: cancel it now, I'm telling you now, counselor, it ain't

- 52:04Speaker 1: here and counseling. Now. I'm telling me the counsel. I
- 52:07Speaker 1: cannot counsel it without speaking to her. I tell you
- 52:10Speaker 1: what your best bid is to counsel that, because if
- 52:13Speaker 1: you put a charge on it, I'm will drive to
- 52:15Speaker 1: and find Joe. What's your name? Excuse me, what's your name?
- 52:20Speaker 1: I'm Brian, Sir, Brian. If there's one charge with my
- 52:23Speaker 1: critical I will find you. Sir. Do you mean do
- 52:26Speaker 1: you have Tony's number where I can call him and
- 52:29Speaker 1: maybe you know you know what. I'm gonna have a
- 52:31Speaker 1: Tony's number the minute, because I got her phone. I'm
- 52:33Speaker 1: going to go through it and find it because this
- 52:35Speaker 1: is some and she's gonna do with Tony. So if
- 52:37Speaker 1: you called back here, you're not gonna get her because
- 52:39Speaker 1: she's gonna be over there with that. Okay, sir. Now
- 52:41Speaker 1: there's one more person that's on the schedule on the room.
- 52:44Speaker 1: A one more person. What they're doing the threesome? Uh?
- 52:48Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Now I got another person on the
- 52:50Speaker 1: on schedule on here. This can't get no words. Come

- 53:14Speaker 1: Your wife got me to prank phone call with you.
- 53:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm about being at that. Hey man. Okay,
- 53:32Speaker 1: that's who she've been talking to on the phone. Yeah, yeah,
- 53:35Speaker 1: you got me, Hey, But I gotta ask you, what
- 53:39Speaker 1: is the baddest and I'm talking about the baddest man
- 53:42Speaker 1: radio show in the land, Steve Harvey Morning Show. That
- 53:47Speaker 1: is super Bowl Trip super Bowl weekend. I encourage anybody
- 53:51Speaker 1: going to Vegas this weekend. You might want to stop it. Rano,
- 53:54Speaker 1: It's just I'm just throwing it up. Did you hear
- 53:56Speaker 1: anything slash mentor just I don't even me. I don't
- 54:01Speaker 1: even mentor it on that part. Yes you do. Yeah,
- 54:04Speaker 1: I think you and I have that going your hoods?
- 54:07Speaker 1: Wouldn't my husband? No? No, I'm sorry. What if he's
- 54:15Speaker 1: going to Rhinold's. I don't need to know that. Today's
- 54:21Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, Yes it is. Uh, strippers need love and
- 54:25Speaker 1: support to we did like to stay. Everybody you're listening
- 54:32Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Um, if
- 54:36Speaker 1: you need help with the situation, if you have a
- 54:38Speaker 1: problem in your relationship, you have some issues going on,
- 54:41Speaker 1: whatever the situation is, go to Steve Harvey f M
- 54:44Speaker 1: dot com and submit your Strawberry letters. Steve and I
- 54:48Speaker 1: could just read your letter on the air and help
- 54:50Speaker 1: you out. Try to help you out at least with
- 54:52Speaker 1: some advice. All right, So here we go with today's letter.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Tell me come on, buggle up, hold on tight. We
- 54:58Speaker 1: got it for you. Hire. It is straw very letter.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I think this is one you're gonna like. You like
- 55:03Speaker 1: the subject anyway, the subject alright, py that title, nice
- 55:08Speaker 1: and smooth subject. Strippers need love and support too. Dear
- 55:16Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I am a twenty five year old college student.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I plan to go to medical school and become a
- 55:23Speaker 1: doctor someday. After my last relationship went sour, I didn't
- 55:27Speaker 1: think I was going to fall in love ever again.
- 55:30Speaker 1: To my surprise, I met someone and fell in love again.
- 55:34Speaker 1: He's forty one years old, and I thought we were
- 55:37Speaker 1: perfect together. We waited close to a year before we
- 55:41Speaker 1: became intimate. However, when I told him of my real occupation,
- 55:45Speaker 1: he did not want to be with me. I am
- 55:49Speaker 1: an exotic dancer. I told him, I'm just doing this
- 55:54Speaker 1: right now to support myself while I'm in school. I
- 55:57Speaker 1: will be graduating soon. He knows type of person I am,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and he knows how deeply I love him. He said,
- 56:04Speaker 1: if he was in a position to take care of
- 56:06Speaker 1: me financially, he would and I could stop dancing. Recently,
- 56:10Speaker 1: he broke up with me because of jealousy and trust issues.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Why is it that men want women to hold them
- 56:17Speaker 1: down with love, support and patience when times are tough,
- 56:20Speaker 1: but most men aren't willing to do the same thing
- 56:23Speaker 1: for us Now he wants us to still be friends.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I'm not sure where to put him in my life,
- 56:29Speaker 1: or if he should be in my life at all.
- 56:32Speaker 1: I believe in myself and I believe in my dream
- 56:35Speaker 1: of becoming a doctor. It saddens me that he isn't
- 56:38Speaker 1: willing to stick by me. What should I do? Please help? Okay, Well,
- 56:43Speaker 1: I I applaud the fact that you believe in yourself,
- 56:46Speaker 1: and I applaud the fact that you believe in your
- 56:48Speaker 1: dream of becoming a doctor. Stay in school and and
- 56:51Speaker 1: please do that and get that done. He sounds serious
- 56:54Speaker 1: as far as as that's concerned, and and I'm happy
- 56:57Speaker 1: about that. Um, yeah, it saddens you that he won't
- 57:01Speaker 1: stick by you, but you know, it's a double standard.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I mean, I hate to say, it's just a double standard.
- 57:08Speaker 1: We can't do what they do. They don't like us
- 57:10Speaker 1: doing what other women do if we, uh are in
- 57:15Speaker 1: a relationship with them, I'll put it like that. And
- 57:17Speaker 1: usually I would say, if he doesn't support you, or
- 57:19Speaker 1: more importantly, if he doesn't trust you, you don't need
- 57:22Speaker 1: him in your life. But then again, this is very different.
- 57:25Speaker 1: It's hard for um, your man who loves you very
- 57:29Speaker 1: much to go along with you dancing exotically or if
- 57:33Speaker 1: you're stripping. What if there's a difference in that in
- 57:37Speaker 1: front of other men, I mean most men, unless they're
- 57:40Speaker 1: really really evolved into something else, I don't know. Uh,
- 57:45Speaker 1: it's just hard for him to see you, you know,
- 57:48Speaker 1: dancing like this in front of other men. You didn't
- 57:50Speaker 1: say if you were you know what you wore or
- 57:52Speaker 1: you know whatever, if you're top, you didn't say anything
- 57:55Speaker 1: like that. You didn't say that. But I'm just saying,
- 57:59Speaker 1: your man isn't gonna be able to handle that, just
- 58:03Speaker 1: to strip yeah, yeah, yeah, but she said she was
- 58:07Speaker 1: an exotic dancer. She said that in the letter I'm
- 58:10Speaker 1: an exotic dancer and the subject yeah, which run yeah exact, Yeah, exactly.
- 58:21Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, so, you know, that's the issue
- 58:24Speaker 1: he has issues with that, not the fact that you're
- 58:27Speaker 1: trying to earn extra money for school or not that
- 58:30Speaker 1: he doesn't believe in your dream of becoming a doctor.
- 58:32Speaker 1: But he's just not gonna be with you dancing naked
- 58:35Speaker 1: or topless or whatever it is, in front of other men.
- 58:38Speaker 1: He's old school, Steve. Well, Shirley is exactly right. I mean,
- 58:44Speaker 1: she's spot on with her response. It's kind of hard
- 58:47Speaker 1: for me to add to this, but let me give
- 58:49Speaker 1: you the male perspective here in case that's what you need.
- 58:54Speaker 1: If you're a twenty five year old Cottege student and
- 58:56Speaker 1: you plan it on going to school to become a
- 58:58Speaker 1: doctor someday, then let me ask you this question, what
- 59:02Speaker 1: does stripping have to do with being a doctor. See
- 59:07Speaker 1: what young people oftentimes failed to realize and remember is
- 59:12Speaker 1: that the things you are doing today are going to
- 59:15Speaker 1: show up and manifest itself in your future. If you're
- 59:20Speaker 1: doing some bad stuff today, it is going to show
- 59:24Speaker 1: up and manifest itself somewhere in your future. It always happens.
- 59:28Speaker 1: When you develop a criminal record as an eighteen year old,
- 59:32Speaker 1: it's over with. You committed it, you did it, you apologize,
- 59:36Speaker 1: you got sentence, you served, or you did your community service, whatever.
- 59:39Speaker 1: But let guess what, at thirty, you still gonna have
- 59:44Speaker 1: to pay for that. That's the problem with all sin.
- 59:48Speaker 1: It costs you more than you want to pay and
- 59:51Speaker 1: make you stay longer than you want to stay. Little sister,
- 59:56Speaker 1: you twenty five years old, you're trying to tell there
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: ain't nothing else you could do to become a doctor.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Let's just say, let's just say you complete medical school.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Let's just say you get an internship at a big hospital,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: and you all ready to start your career. Somebody at
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: that strip club snuck a phone in and took your picture.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: All of a sudden, your pictures show up somewhere and
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: the people at the hospital see it. Your career as
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: a doctor is done. Done, It's over. And don't think
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: it can't happen, because it happens all the time. In technology,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: these dudes got phones they secretly recording girls while they dancing,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: so they ain't play it back at the house. Girl,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: What does being a stripper have to do with you
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: being a doctor? I don't care how good the money is.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: All money is not good money. You're twenty five. You
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: hurting yourself. Now. Let's get to the forty one year
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: old man that you date patiently waited you for a
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: year before you got physical with him. Everything going fine
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: until he found out what your occupation was. You don't
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: get it. Why won't me and allow us? Weird? They
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: expect us. Wait a minute, hold up, let's just flip
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: the script. Let's just say you met this man and
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: you were in love with him, and then you found
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: out he was a pimp. Let's just say that. Would
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you stay with him knowing he was a pimp? Oh,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Let's just say you fell in love with this man
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and you found out he was a dope boy? Would
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: you stay with him because he was a dope boy?
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: And he told you the reason he pimping out, a
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: reason he's selling dope is because he gonna be a
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: doctor one day. Just trying to make extra money. Huh,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: that's all and it's good money. M hmm. I'll be
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: back with a little bit more to try to I
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: don't see it, I don't steal. What are you shaking
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: your head for it? Now? We're talking to him? Okay, subject,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: all right, the subject that strippers need love and support. Two.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: We'll be back with part two of Steve's response to
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's get to part two
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry Letters. Strippers need loving.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: This girl the Metris, forty one year old man. She
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: in love with him. He loved hu. They're talking about
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: having a life together. All of a sudden, he finds
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: out what she really does because now she's stripping. Now
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you'ven't justified because you're an exotic dancer. I told him,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I'm just doing this right now to support myself while
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I'm in school. I'll be graduating soon. He knows the
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: type of person I am and how deeply I love him. No, no, no,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: he thought he knew the type of person you were.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: He didn't know that you were willing to take your
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: clothes off in front of strange men and dance around provocatively. Now,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, it ain't ever fitting to be that that
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: listened to me. Most men want somebody that belonged to them,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: and don't wan't they? Well, now, look, let me explain
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: something to you. There are examples of women who used
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: to strip. Yeah, I think it's easier for a man
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: to accept the fact that you used to strip than
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: it is for a man to accept the fact that
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you currently stripped. Everybody gotta pass in history. Everybody makes mistakes.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Lord knows out of maid could lords so? But okay,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: and forgiveness is in order for most. It's hard to
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: forgive a person who continues to do the thing that
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: they're asking you to forgive them. For example, you keep
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: crashing my car. I'll let you use it, you keep crashing.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Every time you come back. You say I'm sorry, I'll
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: give it to you again, and you crash it again.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you think I'm gonna give you my car.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: It is easy for a man to forgive the fact
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that you stripped if you're not stripping anymore. It happens
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: all the time. People have great lives after that. But
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: you are continuing the stripping, wanting him to support you.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: He will support you. He will not support the stripping.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: It ain't no. Why is men always asking no, that's
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: not the case. But you cannot ask a person to
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: support something that goes against who or what they believe
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: just because that's what you believe. You cannot do it.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry, sister, And the reason I have no jokes
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: for you right now is because you're twenty five and
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I happen to have four daughters, and I am telling
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you for real, you are making a tremendous mistake. Don't
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: care what's happening today. Two thousand and eighteen, people kill me.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: That times difference. You old school Steve. Okay, cool, calling
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: what you want to call. But it is what it
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: is and it's not gonna change. But like my father
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: always told my sisters, and I never forgot this. He
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: set my sisters down with my two older brothers one day.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I was a little boy. He wasn't even talking to me,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: and I just heard him tell them, listen to me,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Mona and Polka. You can't do what I do is
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: still be a lady. That's just the standards. You can't
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: do what I do and still be a lady. He said.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry, He's I ain't make this up, just just
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: how he is and that's how he is, young lady,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: so keep that in mind. If I were you, I
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: would stop stripping before you lose a man and a
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: potential career, before the stripping gets out ahead of you
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: and you have to pay for it later on. Alright, Steve,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. You can email us
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: or instagram you short thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: my girls, Shirley, and don't forget to join me today
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: at one thirty pm Eastern Time for the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Live after show on Facebook. Yeah, be glad. You're better.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Be glad to use that word today, you hear me?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Oh your uncle, Steve, it have been a different answer today.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: All right, oh boy, all right, Steve, let's move on.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Can girl Carroll Underwood? She's here, Steve Harving, Steve, remindus
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: your family herbage I was talking about. I just want
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: to add your one little bit of thing, Steve. You
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: was absolutely coret because I remember when I was trying
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to be a taste kitten, shall describe every don't say nothing,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: what is that? Okay? Taste Entertainment Center on six a
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: third is a nightclub in Chicago, And remember they had
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: the Playboy Bunnet and the Playboy matches well on six
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and third in Chicago. They had to taste kitten, and
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: everybody wants to be a taste kitten. So I'm just saying, God,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: let you know what you can't do. I'm Pigeon told
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: them bow legging. So I tried to get in the
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: game right home at the family dead on Stoley Island
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: and the Lord, let you know you ain't got to
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: tell her for this, So go to college and do
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: something with your life. I'm just saying, Steve, you are
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: absolutely right. There are things that you cannot do, and
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: that's not where your skill, said he is. You know,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: because Tommy I had roller skates, so baby, all the
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: roller skates because I want to get that tip on
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: his fast like roll. Yeah, just getting against Yes, that's right,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: bounce rock skating road. Baby, I was out there getting
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: that money, snatching them twen these out of people head So, hey,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: this is what I really want to talk about. I
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: really want us to really get out there, and I
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: want all organizations and I'm I'm challenging all Greek letter
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: organizations and Steve, we can do this. Buy out theaters
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: for Black Panther and then let us bring our children
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: to see I've said it once, I'm gonna say it again.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: The most money because the mineral that Iron Man Tony
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Starks suit is made out of is from the country
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: that Chadwick Boseman is the king of. I'm glad to
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: see this is happening. Y'all said the type it in
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: their girl. The Black Panther is worth nine hundred billion
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: dollars are some kind of money because the mineral is
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: from the Motherland. I'm hoping that this will cause diversity.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Why you can't have undesirable places be as wonderful as
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: the paradise that is seen on Black Panther. So I'm
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: asking all Greek letter organizations, Sigma Zata Council, everybody, all organizations, nonprofits,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: buy out theaters, Maddene's let's field theaters up with children
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: to see Black Panther. And then let's make this the
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: number one movie. Let's make in the first weekend five
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: hundred million dollars or more. And like Steve say, check
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: your ticket stuff and make sure it's a Black Panther
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: so that you are getting credit for Black Panther. Let's
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: make this the number one movie. I'm gonna buy out,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: and I think the one out and and chrish, y'all,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: what is rave? Is that what it's called used to be?
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Magic Johnson Theater. I'm about that out and we're gonna
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: put some children in there and get pop on a
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: candy chip in time. And you got the money, all right, Cheryl,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: thank you so very much. I love you too. Roller
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: skates some baby all coming up in ten minutes. Sister
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Odell will be in the building. You're listening, Steve. Yes, Yo,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: she's here, Yes, she is. I'm here early. I ain't
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: even have to come up the hall. I just got
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: on in here. I said, it must want me. So
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: him's good morning everyone, Hill. Hey, sister out there, how
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: you doing. Good? Good junior boy, Good mornings, Odal Lord.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna pray for your voice. Yes, ma'am, you sound
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: like me when I was fifteen. Hi, Tommy, Yes, ma'am,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: good morning. He's a good boy. You take care of
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: your mother. That's the one thing I say about you.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Yes man, Hello, Shelly, Oh, Hello, sister O'Dell. You sound
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: so pleasant today. Well I'm pleasant today. You know everything's
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: been going on. I listened to the other night to
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Dinna Trump's State of the American Union, State of the Union,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: addressed ma'am. Yes, ma'am, I was gonna ask you about that.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: It's funny you brought that. Listen to him, you know,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: he he don't read good an't for teller prompt. He
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: just looked like it's a whole straight ain't. I wouldn't
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: even look on at the Democrats. I guess he didn't
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: care nothing about them, he said, you only ain't standing
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: and clapping to him with right like a lot of love.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: And that little white woman nasty posy or she didn't
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: give a damn nothing, he said, tims well of being
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: up down picking little off sh I said, if this
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: judge Judy looking for don't make an expression to say
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: something about lad for the present day? I did. I
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: was right with me. I said, boy, that Nashy prolong
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: cause you look like your Judy. What I thought it was,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Jared Judy one time you did. What did you think
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: about the Congressional Black Caucus with their can take cloth?
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: And that was cute? That was cute. They were pretty
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: stone faced, ain't. I ain't about know what that meant though,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: but uh, but white folk, they just thank your so
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: set from Berlin. They got them sick factory that they
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: didn't know what that was. I felt so bad. I said, well,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: they're showing some form of unity they got but White
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Focus must have had a sale at Junior Junior. When
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I'm talking, y'all don't need no help. You just got

- 1:12:50Speaker 1: fast man, need no help writing, no joke from you.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You open for me something. I was just laughing. Okay,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I thought you were saying something. You were just laughing.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Keep on. I'm sorry I didn't. I'm fine off today
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: because I'm touching. Well, you know, he got on my nerves,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: you know, for the president. Yeah, he just you know,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: he has him last American kids, his dreamers. To the

- 1:13:31Speaker 1: calls Obama. Y're nothing new with you. You don't care
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: if a black person, y'all to prel let alone a job.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: That's something that's a lot on your mind to day. Girl,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Can I say that that's all? That was Kanye right
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: when he said George Bush care about black people. I
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: didn't say that. Now we know, I think Donna Trump
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: care about black people. What you want me to say
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: that he that's me that this speech of the other night. Yeah,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I was proud of the Black Caucus though they was
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: unified and everything. And then some of them just said
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: they wanted to go and so they could see so
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: he could see their face. Not clapping. I mean, wasn't
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: a soul clapping over the hum Sometimes they clapped when
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: they were talking about building the infrastructure for the company.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Everybody clap for the country, and the rest of the time,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: I just looking at Nashal, going, Lord, pits your face.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: You ain't even trying around there. They did President Obama
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: the Republicans the same way, though. It was excellent. Yeah,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: he speak hand and he thought that that man could
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: talk this and here can't even read that. I felt
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: so bad for him. I wanted to go, Lord, let
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: me help him out and talk. We talk about Jay's
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: breathing on the show. President Trump's breathing is heavy. It
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: seems like it's he and cheve Burgers every day at
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the White House. All right, that's what they told me.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: He has cheat Burgers. A big match Some'm at the
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: White House every day, Yes, ma'am. Oh you know what

- 1:15:31Speaker 1: be that. I'll be up there. I'm going to Minnesota forward.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Are you really? Yeah? I don't go to the game
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: or nothing. What you're just going? Yeah, I'll be up there.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: You know. I interrupt parties. Oh super Bowl parties. Yeah,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I'm a party bust. I go in and all the
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: tricks and help us that's up there that came in
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: the sale and make money. I save souls that away.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: You messing with them? Uh huh. I knocked poles down,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: everything knockge hamming. I can't knock it down. I just
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: put a crimp in it hard, with a crimp in
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I see the super Bowl after party crashing all. I'm
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: gonna bush up all in party. Put your clouds out.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: You don't have. Girls are sometimes a slide down the
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: pole with a booty on it. If you put a
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: crimp in the pole, that don't hurt them. Mess around
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: to tell yourself you ever been on the wait wait
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: a minute, hold on, when did you get ready? Nothing
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: want today? Damn going on? I'm good, I'm sorry, I slive,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. I ain't get ready,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: get ready to get ready? It is that time she
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: is here with reality. Well never you. Let's start off.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: We're talking about what's on the gram Instagram. So did
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: you guys see Kim Kardashian's picture? Yeah, the topless one. Yes,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: nobody you saw. I missed. You missed the picture, right,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: nobody missed these pictures I saw. I didn't get it,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: but I saw it. Utiful girl. I just think I
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: don't know she. I love Kim Kardashian, don't get me wrong,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: but it's like she's revealing too much now being a
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: wife and a mother of three. Yeah, it's kind of like, so,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: where is it? I don't care? Look at me. I'm
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: hot like that. Yeah. Yeah, so it's like she's on
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: another level though. She's on another level and she's gorgeous.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I love Chloe Kardashian. There is no hate from me
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: on the Kardashian Girls. But when I saw that picture,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I was like, Wow, maybe we were revealing too much.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Just because you can doesn't mean you have to or
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you should. Yeah, what do you guys think? Did you guys? Well,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: they're looking at their phones. I don't know why you
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: let me have my homework out for you do your
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: report while they're looking ahead. Carla really really married? Man,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I have to remind you. Hit me up a little spark, Carla,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: tell me what you think about. I'm not in support
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: of the pictures, uh huh, but I'm looking at the picture. Okay.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: So you think she's revealing too much right now? Too much?
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: She married, n't married, And a lot of people remarked
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: about her. Braid to you, was she have vacation somewhere?
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what the deal is.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people were, you know, saying,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: you know, how that we get into this thing about Yeah,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: it's a culture thing about you know, I guess white
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: stealing our our hairstyle el and it's okay, but if
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: we wear it, you know, that's the braids doesn't bother me.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: It was the topless. It was the picture itself about.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I just think that she's revealing too much as a
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: mom and a wife, right, yeah, her bare naked breast.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I ain't got hot involved. Okay, Well, let's
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: just move on because that's just what our beautiful part
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: of a woman. Don't get me wrong. But the human
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: body is I don't even know why we're looking at
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: the braves who care about the But a lot of
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: people did bring that up as well, a lot of
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: comments on that, So that's what's trending right now. People
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: were talking about that all week. Probably she said why
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: she didn't know he's hoping. She did say this was art. Well,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: not not when you're standing right, but not when I
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: can see your medicine. Candy, you got to crap that out.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: This is art. Don't don't, don't don't. All right, moving on,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: here we go, Real housewives up, Atlanta. Let's just move on.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Cynthia Bailey her new boyfriend. Okay, well, yeah, she's dating
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: this guy Will, and um, she told Will that she
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: trusted him, but there are some rumors and stuff out
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: about his behavior if he still had a girlfriend. But
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Will said that he was committed to Cynthia, and Cynthia
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: kind of meant she wants to take it a little slow.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: She just, you know, excuse me, fresh off of divorce
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: from her husband Peter. On one of the shows. Remember
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: they mentioned Steve show. Yes, and they're saying, this guy
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Will was on your show before Steve. Your daytime talk show,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: but they did Candy, Candy. She mentioned it to Cynthia
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: that this guy Will have been on your show talk
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: show as a dating segment as as a bachelor. Yeah, yes,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: that is him, exactly him. Yeah. So anyway, Eva Marcel,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: you know her from America's America's Next Top Model. She
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: was a winner. She is on the shows right down.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: She seems like she's a friend of Ninie's on the show.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I guess they're gonna work her in, but they're Candy
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: had a big party to celebrate her cover of Essence magazine.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: Candy is on the cover of Essenced. Yeah, she's beautiful
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: up Candy. Anyway, at the party, Eva told Nani on
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: the way to the party that Will, Cynthia's boyfriend, this
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: guy that she's dating, was at an event with her
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: and her man, and that he was there with his girlfriend.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: H So all that came out at the party, Will
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: didn't like all of this mess. Going back and four,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: things got a little heated between him and Eva. So
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: here's my question to you guys. Have you ever dated,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: or you know, had a relationship with a significant other
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: that your close friends did not like that person? Because
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: at the end of the day. Yeah, because you see
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: what I'm saying, because Kenya, Nini and Candy are kind
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: of looking at Cynthia like see didn't like him in
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: the first place, you know, issues like that. But so
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: he does he have a girlfriend? He's saying the timetable,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: you know, on that is a little off. But we'll see.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I guess it'll all play at a little bit more.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: So what do you guys, I'm Steve. You said, yes,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you had you dated someone and your friends didn't like
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: a close friend. What happened? Man? Do man? It right?
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: It was? It was a disaster. Man, was it was
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: a disaster because well they were right, your friends. Yeah,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: I ignored it. They and I ignored it. Wow, what
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: about you, Junior? Absolutely, Tommy told me not to date
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: the girl. Oh, Tommy told you. Tommy gave it out.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: It was good. I mean, I'm just hitting here with you.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Listen to me. If Tommy tell you stay away from
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: a girl, you need to run. Yeah. But here I am.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: I just thought it. Yeah, you know, I just thoughted,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: And I'm just didn't making excuses for the girl. You
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: don't understand her. She talked to everybody like that. What what? How?
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: How was she talking about everybody faith, you know, just
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: going around like that's her thing, right, we just started
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: doing comments. Yeah, okay, this happened to me. What about you? Absolutely? Yeah,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I mean I dated in him anyway. My mom told me,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: you know, dating him anyway, and yeah I did too,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: getting in well, yeah I got a divorce. Yeah I
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: was engaged and all that that was. That's allegedly was allegedly.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: That's allegedly all right, hippie up, I lift about carl.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Let's tell me if you you've been in that situation
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: when close friends didn't like your significant other, let me
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: know the outcome and lips about Carla. We gotta go
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: to reality. Update will be back at twenty after. Yeah,

- 1:29:29Speaker 1: all of that hunting, and she's listening hunting out. It's
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: a hunting out fit, camouflage paying. We get cold ragged
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: ass rag on your head that you've been holding up
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: on that got sulfur eight in glovers made. We washed it.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: You're not you're not on the stage. You're doing your

- 1:30:12Speaker 1: but mine don't go like that. I ain't twenty minutes either.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: How did you used to go to? You read it? Okay,

- 1:30:26Speaker 1: whole ordeal seventeen minutes the thing every team back to
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: the remote or eighteen done? Eating the sandwich. You're watching
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: Low and Order. What's that you're pulling on? That chocolate
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: and something your different melted foods, right, you know, and
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: don't just think chocolate. You know, you gotta expand you
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: gotta get off into the cam mails and butterscotches and
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: stuff like. Oh, I ain't even saying nothing. Did you
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: kiss that? He got chills and still here room? Yeah?
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: You didn't care that, y'all. Slide on down and chill.

- 1:31:25Speaker 1: the five place? I just weren't gonna tell you about it.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, the fire place. I wasn't gonna tell you.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: Here's another tip from the sex therapist. She says, try
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: something new for couples who really really want to spice
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: things up. Try something like a blindfold or something. No,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: I need to see what going on. Oh I just
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: see it coming. I got a handcuff one time. If
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: you want to hear about it, we can come back.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: Where's the kid Steve's handcuffs stories? When we come back,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steven Show. There we go, all right, Steve,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: last break of the day. Just one more thing you
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: were going to tell us about your handcuffs? Story. We
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: were talking about twitters. I got out of college. I
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: met this girl at this job. I had don't forget
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: you gotta do closing remarks. It might not make it.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: You're going this is closing, come on at all. It
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: took me a while to convince it to go out
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: with me. Finally when I went out here did about
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: six some times. I'm sitting down and pulling it on
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: thingcause I can. Man, I got this girl, this girl going,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: oh my god, this guess the one. I didn't really
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: know who I was pulling it on too. I just
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: kept pulling it and pulling it on. You know, when
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: I'm with you, my heart just my heart matters, and
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: my heart ain't mattered to me, and so long you
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: actually make my heart matter. I'm girl, you don't even understand.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: I had it going on this girl. Finally, Man, one evening,
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: she said, you have got to come home, and I
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: don't want you to leave. I said, I finally got here.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: Thank your Lord, go by there. We get through having
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: dinner and shot up and everything. Thing getting a little
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: crazy up in here. So she said, I got some out.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: It's been just a fantasy of mind to do with you.
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: I got these handcuffs. The handcuffs had fur on, so
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: I didn't think nothing of it. So she said, I
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: want to just handcuff. Y'all said, now, you know, just
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: just just for a little bit, because I don't like
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: being handcuffed. She said, I would never hurt you. This
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: half her handcuffed me, but inside the damn fur was metal.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, so now I'm handcuffs. As soon
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: as she handcuffed, she changed. What do you mean she changed?
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: So I said, hey, baby, let me do this right here.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: Put the key in my other hand. She took the
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: key and throw it behind the dresser. We got damn problems.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: I got boxer draws on with the lips on them.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: You know, I had the boxer drawers. I thought they
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: were sexy. I found him had the lips prints on them,
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: and it kisses all over the drawing. Yeah, I'm sitting
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: up in here, man, sure what I think? That ain't
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: what it wants. Just had some lips and lips by calling,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: come on with the story here, man, And I just
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: half her through this key behind the dresser, and she
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: turned around all a sudden. She looked evil. I said, right,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: and she said, I'm Finnish show you something. And she
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: took her teeth and started tearing the draws off, and
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: I'm scared. There's too much teeth just to why you
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: whiting help? This helfer was gnawing on me. I'm talking
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: about she eating me. Damn near alive. I mean, she
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: just taking like questions. I'm just gonna do little nibbles,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: but I don't like that. I don't like bite flinching,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: and this, damn I'm she got this little wrought iron,
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: little bed kind of rough iron, and I'm on the
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: bars and I'm snatching every time she bite. I'm snatching
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: because I'm I'm you know, I'm convulsive. It's uncomfortable. So
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: every muscle in my body then locked up. Now I'm
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: skinny as hell back then. I ain't got no fat.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: So you're biting muscle, skinner asks muscle. I just didn't
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: here flinching, and that's all I'm doing. And she said,
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: why don't you act like a man? Got to do
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: it right there to me, So I'm trying to I'm
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: trying to get my hands out of the coast. My
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: arms is so cut up from trying to snatch. Finally, man,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: I just couldn't take it no more, and I just
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: pull as hard as I could, and I bent the
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: ball so far back then it popped out the little
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: hole in the top. I had one hand free, but
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: I got a piece of the bed in my hand.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: What I'm trying to beat this half off me because
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: this half ain't trying to stop. Let me do what
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: I've been wanting to do. That's a fantasy of mind
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: screens on thick. I said, okay, cool. Finally man got
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: enough strength. She rolled off. I got my other hand
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: over there by the ball and just pull hard as
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: I could and broke the bed post on that side
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: and got my hand up off that ball. You have
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: seen my skinny neked ass trying to be in over
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: the hand and dress and get that damn key over
