- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your tha ah I's shore
- 2:02Speaker 1: will I good hearted? Everybody y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Hey man back in business too?
- 2:13Speaker 1: Man Man, How good is God? I mean, really, if
- 2:17Speaker 1: you think about it in spite of all that's going
- 2:20Speaker 1: down in your life, first of all, it could be worse.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But secondly, sometimes you have to remember. And I've just
- 2:27Speaker 1: had to have this conversation with myself this morning. That's
- 2:31Speaker 1: how I'm fresh on this one right here. When a
- 2:34Speaker 1: challenge faces you, are you going through a difficult moment,
- 2:38Speaker 1: or you didn't hit a bump in the road in
- 2:40Speaker 1: the middle of that, If you could manage to be grateful,
- 2:44Speaker 1: it would take you a long way. Gratitude is a
- 2:48Speaker 1: powerful resource if you can be grateful in the middle
- 2:52Speaker 1: of it. Gratitude is a powerful resource when it's dim
- 2:58Speaker 1: for you. It didn't got a bumpy on the road,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and he ran into some obstacles, and you didn't ran
- 3:04Speaker 1: up into some detooled signs and your journey ain't smooth
- 3:08Speaker 1: as it was last week or last year. You gotta
- 3:12Speaker 1: be grateful for the things that are going right and
- 3:17Speaker 1: that have gone right, and for the thing that's wrong
- 3:20Speaker 1: right now to get right. Man, cannot share that with you. Man,
- 3:25Speaker 1: is that a tough one to learn? It is for me.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It has been one of my toughest challenges is to
- 3:31Speaker 1: learn how to be grateful because it's a powerful resource,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but how to be grateful in moments of despair when
- 3:39Speaker 1: it ain't going right. See here's a mistake I would make.
- 3:42Speaker 1: See when something go wrong, I want to focus on
- 3:45Speaker 1: the wrong so much in an attempt to fix it.
- 3:49Speaker 1: But even then the focus ain't always in to fix it.
- 3:54Speaker 1: The focus becomes, Man, this is bad, Man, I can't
- 3:58Speaker 1: believe this is happening. Why this keep going down? That
- 4:01Speaker 1: doesn't fix anything? You know, mealing over it, going over
- 4:06Speaker 1: what's wrong, explaining it, sharing it with your friends, you know,
- 4:13Speaker 1: making it sound worse than it is, tell the story
- 4:17Speaker 1: for pity from other people. All of that, right there,
- 4:20Speaker 1: has nothing to do with the fix. Sometimes you're just
- 4:23Speaker 1: mulling over it. You're just making it worse. You're just
- 4:26Speaker 1: making it a bigger problem. You're manifesting it into your atmosphere,
- 4:30Speaker 1: You're putting it out there in your spirit. Now all
- 4:32Speaker 1: of a sudden, it consumes your day. Next thing, you know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: you're having a bad day. If you're having a bad day,
- 4:38Speaker 1: it's because you've been having some bad thoughts. So what
- 4:42Speaker 1: I've had to learn how to do, and what I'm
- 4:43Speaker 1: working on this morning is I'm working on this situation
- 4:47Speaker 1: that's been cropped up. I was going kind of smooth
- 4:50Speaker 1: here for a minute, and now I didn't got real
- 4:52Speaker 1: bumpy in the road, you know, and all this here.
- 4:55Speaker 1: So what I'm thinking about now, though, is even though
- 4:58Speaker 1: I've hit a bump in the road, and even though
- 5:00Speaker 1: out and ran into a detour, and even though I've
- 5:04Speaker 1: hit this love, I'm going down into a valley, I
- 5:08Speaker 1: ain't up on the peak. Can I not still be
- 5:11Speaker 1: grateful for all the things that God has given me?
- 5:15Speaker 1: For all the things he's done for me, for all
- 5:18Speaker 1: the things he's brought me through, and realizing that even
- 5:22Speaker 1: this that's happening to me again is going to pass too.
- 5:26Speaker 1: He gonna get me through that attitude. Come on, man,
- 5:29Speaker 1: God is a good god. Man. It's a lot to
- 5:31Speaker 1: be grateful for. So while I'm tripping on this bumping
- 5:34Speaker 1: the road out and hit, what I gotta remember is
- 5:36Speaker 1: all the things He's done for me. And like I say,
- 5:39Speaker 1: my saying is joy depression cannot reside in the same place.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So instead of being down about this new bumping the road,
- 5:46Speaker 1: if I'm constantly filling my mind with the thoughts of
- 5:49Speaker 1: how good He's been to me, of what all he's
- 5:52Speaker 1: done for me, of all the things he's brought me through,
- 5:55Speaker 1: of all the blessings he's presented me with. When I
- 5:58Speaker 1: go down that list, I really don't have a lot
- 6:01Speaker 1: of time to mull over the situation. Now. Do I
- 6:07Speaker 1: have to fix this bump in the road? Of course
- 6:10Speaker 1: I do. Are There's some things I'm going to have
- 6:12Speaker 1: to do to straighten it out, of course it is.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But Steve just going to get the business of doing
- 6:17Speaker 1: it and straighten it out. What you mulling over and
- 6:20Speaker 1: wearing about it for you know, old people. I heard
- 6:22Speaker 1: old people say something when I was growing up in
- 6:24Speaker 1: the church. They say, if you're gonna pray about it,
- 6:26Speaker 1: don't worry about it. But if you're gonna worry about it,
- 6:29Speaker 1: don't pray about it. That's an amazing thing. And prayer
- 6:33Speaker 1: just happens to be my weapon of choice. Man, it
- 6:36Speaker 1: ain't always been that way. I want you to understand
- 6:39Speaker 1: that My first weapon of choice was you do it
- 6:41Speaker 1: to me, I do it to you. You call me out,
- 6:44Speaker 1: I call you out, you say something bad about me.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I've tried to find you and say something bad about you.
- 6:49Speaker 1: That was my weapon in the past. How did that
- 6:52Speaker 1: work out for you, Steve? Not so good? Because you
- 6:56Speaker 1: know what, I spend a lot of time fighting back,
- 7:00Speaker 1: kicking back, swinging back, when I could have spent all
- 7:04Speaker 1: that time climbing. See, all you're trying to do at
- 7:07Speaker 1: the end of the day, folks, is have a better
- 7:09Speaker 1: life than the one you got. All you're trying to
- 7:12Speaker 1: do is to improve your position in life. You know,
- 7:14Speaker 1: it's not my business to make sure you don't get
- 7:17Speaker 1: where you're going. Ain't got no time for that. It's
- 7:20Speaker 1: not my job to assure that you ain't as high
- 7:23Speaker 1: as me. I ain't got no time for that. Your
- 7:27Speaker 1: real mission and purpose is to have the best life
- 7:30Speaker 1: that you can have, to ascend to the highest plateau
- 7:34Speaker 1: that you can get to, to make your family as
- 7:36Speaker 1: comfortable as you can, to provide as much as you
- 7:40Speaker 1: can for your family. But legally, see, those of us
- 7:43Speaker 1: are sitting up here trying to come up with sideways.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You can ask a couple million men sitting in prison
- 7:48Speaker 1: today how they wish they hadn't have done that, and
- 7:51Speaker 1: they'll tell you, Oh, man, I wish I never had
- 7:54Speaker 1: did it. I knew not to go down there. Something
- 7:57Speaker 1: told me not to go down there. Man. If I
- 8:00Speaker 1: could change things, I would. But they're sitting somewhere doing
- 8:04Speaker 1: some time that had they made another decision they wouldn't
- 8:07Speaker 1: have to do. Now. That don't make them throw away people, na, man,
- 8:11Speaker 1: because everybody make mistakes, and God is in the forgiving business.
- 8:15Speaker 1: And some of us have done some things that really
- 8:18Speaker 1: broke the law and a whole lot of other things
- 8:21Speaker 1: and deserve to do some time. But through the grace
- 8:23Speaker 1: of God, we didn't. But now we set up here
- 8:25Speaker 1: and we passed judgment on people who got to do something. Now,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care what you've done. God
- 8:30Speaker 1: can't forgive anything, but our position, our motivation in life
- 8:34Speaker 1: is to try to have the best life we can
- 8:37Speaker 1: have and provide for those around us and make it comfortable.
- 8:40Speaker 1: If that's your ambition, you don't have time to worry
- 8:44Speaker 1: about or concern yourself with another person. And I wasted
- 8:49Speaker 1: time doing that, And that's not the way to get
- 8:52Speaker 1: it done. It's simply mind to your business, taking care
- 8:56Speaker 1: of you and getting yourself right and tight. It's twenty
- 8:59Speaker 1: four seven to full time job. So what I had
- 9:02Speaker 1: to learn was and what I've the reason I've chosen
- 9:05Speaker 1: prayer as as my weapon of choice now is that
- 9:09Speaker 1: now prayer helps me that I don't have to fight back. Now,
- 9:14Speaker 1: if I get corned, I'm gonna fight you. I ain't
- 9:17Speaker 1: even gonna lie to you. And now I'm still working
- 9:20Speaker 1: on some things that trigger me. You know, you know
- 9:24Speaker 1: you know, and and and and so I'm I'm I'm
- 9:27Speaker 1: slowly getting better at that. But I've learned that my
- 9:31Speaker 1: weapon of choice is prayer now, So when it happens
- 9:36Speaker 1: ugly for me, I pray about it. When it gets tight,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and dismal for me. I pray about it. And the
- 9:43Speaker 1: thing about prayer, man is prayer changes things. Yes it does.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Now read about it and try it. That's the deal. Okay,
- 9:53Speaker 1: Come on, prayer as a wonderful weapons. You're listening, Ladies
- 10:01Speaker 1: and gentlemen, may have your undivided attention. Please on this
- 10:05Speaker 1: very very blessed morning. We are here, alive and well
- 10:08Speaker 1: ready to get it on. This is the Steve Harvey
- 10:11Speaker 1: Morning Show. Understand me, now, please do okay, because I
- 10:16Speaker 1: do huh talking? That's what? Yes? Now, you know just
- 10:24Speaker 1: you ever had somebody argue with their self, just like
- 10:30Speaker 1: like this weekend when they got drunk. Yeah, I said
- 10:33Speaker 1: it and you and you the for what? Uh huh
- 10:38Speaker 1: gone now over there for that? Yeah? And I said again,
- 10:43Speaker 1: damn it. Yeah, thank you, thank I won't you're looking
- 10:48Speaker 1: at it's my house. Quit looking at me. I'm you
- 10:56Speaker 1: don't look at me. I'm divisible, Ladies and Jim with
- 11:01Speaker 1: Sherley Strawbay right here, baby, Hey caller one foot for real,
- 11:11Speaker 1: she's listening to foot dog. Steve Well explained it to
- 11:17Speaker 1: your collar. Broke her toe the weekend, Junior Morning Up.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I've been bawling I can't wait to hear about the board.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Junior bawling. Let's go. What's what's up? Jay? What's up? Stephen?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Feeling good? That's good, baby, happy for you, Happy for you?
- 11:39Speaker 1: Food dog it dog, I'm in the building, baby. What
- 11:43Speaker 1: it do? What it do with it? Yeah? Okay, so okay,
- 11:48Speaker 1: So let me start with caller. Okay, caller, you broke
- 11:54Speaker 1: your fourth toe. I that's that one that's tucked away
- 12:00Speaker 1: pretty good. Yes, yes, sir, Yes, sir? How did you
- 12:04Speaker 1: break your toe? I was in the bathroom turning to
- 12:08Speaker 1: go into the closet to put on my shoes. I
- 12:12Speaker 1: was getting ready. I was actually getting ready to go
- 12:14Speaker 1: from my best friend's house. It was her birthday, and
- 12:18Speaker 1: I guess I didn't clear her door was not open
- 12:23Speaker 1: as wide as I thought it was. Baby, Now here's
- 12:29Speaker 1: a question. Didn't it hurt? Yes? Who? Did you cuss
- 12:33Speaker 1: out everybody? That's what everybody? So? Okay? I know your
- 12:40Speaker 1: husband got so did the baby catch any No? I
- 12:43Speaker 1: didn't cuss out my child. I didn't blame her. But
- 12:45Speaker 1: you cuss that door out very good, didn't you. The
- 12:49Speaker 1: door means nothing. The door is less, dough is missing,
- 12:55Speaker 1: The dough is missing two hinges exactly is dead to you.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Carlin's so damn to me. Hey, Junior that when we
- 13:03Speaker 1: come back off this break, man, I gotta hear what
- 13:06Speaker 1: you said. You've been bawling, man, Junior bowling toes? Yeah
- 13:11Speaker 1: mind no, so Carlin, both the women on the show
- 13:15Speaker 1: broke their toes ago, Yeah, but surely broke hers kicking somebody, Yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 1: I did. Was all right. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:29Speaker 1: after the hour, we're gonna start off with Junior in
- 13:33Speaker 1: his weekend of bawling. Uh. It was the Labor Day weekend,
- 13:36Speaker 1: and we'll get the latest on the hurricane Hurricane Dorian
- 13:40Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after Right after this, you're
- 13:42Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right. Before
- 13:46Speaker 1: we get into the weekend, especially Junior's baller weekend, we
- 13:50Speaker 1: have to have to have to take a moment, yeah,
- 13:53Speaker 1: to stop down and keep praying for our brothers and
- 13:55Speaker 1: our sisters in the northern part of the Bahamash. This
- 13:59Speaker 1: Hurricane Dorian, oh my goodness, unleashed massive flooding storm winds
- 14:04Speaker 1: of up to one hundred and eighty five miles per hour,
- 14:07Speaker 1: So I'm surges more than twenty feet high now. Bahamian
- 14:12Speaker 1: officials are conducting rescue efforts. It's a very slow moving storm,
- 14:17Speaker 1: Hurricane Dourrian. It's making its way to the eastern coasts
- 14:20Speaker 1: of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. And again we have
- 14:24Speaker 1: to keep that part of the world and those people
- 14:27Speaker 1: in our prayers because I mean, you know, I mean, look,
- 14:29Speaker 1: we're bracing for what can happen here in the United States,
- 14:33Speaker 1: all our people down in the Florida area and the
- 14:36Speaker 1: Carolinas in Georgia. But Lord, ha mercy, that storm has
- 14:42Speaker 1: set on them islands over there in the Bahamas. Like
- 14:46Speaker 1: you say, on the northern side. It's horrible when a
- 14:49Speaker 1: storm just sits there. Yeah, for the length of time
- 14:53Speaker 1: that it is set. I mean, that's devastation, man. And
- 14:57Speaker 1: the count the death counter is rising. Versus was one, two,
- 15:00Speaker 1: four out of her four seven, now, you know, And
- 15:05Speaker 1: so now, man, it's just tragic. Man. I checked on
- 15:10Speaker 1: my buddy down there, that's got a place. He said, Nah, Man,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm in Wyoming. But actually, Tyler Perry, he said, Man,
- 15:17Speaker 1: but I'm so concerned for the locals. They down there
- 15:20Speaker 1: taking a beating. Man, I don't know how this is
- 15:23Speaker 1: gonna shake out. I hope we can help them, you know,
- 15:29Speaker 1: in their relief efforts. And at the same time, we
- 15:33Speaker 1: got to be prepared for when it hits our home
- 15:36Speaker 1: land too, and you know, hopefully everybody's own point. FEMA
- 15:42Speaker 1: has been in meetings and they seem to be setting.
- 15:45Speaker 1: They got all the power trucks that's been shipped from
- 15:48Speaker 1: all over the state and other states. I saw a
- 15:51Speaker 1: big like parking lot, just huge, huge rolls and rolls
- 15:57Speaker 1: of electricity trucks and all that. Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 16:03Speaker 1: because they're gonna have to start restoring electricity they know,
- 16:06Speaker 1: from just the winds, yeah, and any of the surges.
- 16:09Speaker 1: But man, we just we just gotta pray for everybody, man. Yeah,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and there's more tropical disturbances out there. This is the
- 16:18Speaker 1: peak of hurricane season, and I don't know, it just
- 16:21Speaker 1: seems like these storms are more destructive now. Every single
- 16:26Speaker 1: year they're stronger. They're so much stronger now. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:29Speaker 1: this global warming, this is something something to it, definitely.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And just the reminder, guys, miss Anne will have the
- 16:36Speaker 1: latest on the storm right at the top of the hour.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Now we're gonna switch gears here and uh, a lighter note,
- 16:44Speaker 1: just take it a little lighter and uh, yeah, can
- 16:47Speaker 1: I cannot take it a little lighter with a question. Yeah, Junior,
- 16:52Speaker 1: we were talking about. Oh you said you was doing
- 16:56Speaker 1: some junior ball in this weekend. Man, I'm curious to
- 17:00Speaker 1: know what junior balling is. I'm sure I've done it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Oh you've done it. Oh I'm sure I had. Oh
- 17:07Speaker 1: you've done it because you showed me how to do it. O. Man,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I got two friends. I called him up. I said,
- 17:14Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna do for y'all. Man, I'm
- 17:16Speaker 1: in investing somebody else's life. So that's why my voice gone.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I have been up screaming, yelling, laughing all weekend long.
- 17:24Speaker 1: But but but did you guys notice his voice is
- 17:30Speaker 1: deeper deep. I went down to I went down the
- 17:39Speaker 1: distant floor to this weekend. I went down to this resort.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I booked up No line three, bad room, penthouse, got
- 17:49Speaker 1: lobster tails everywhere we hit here, full of liquor, got
- 17:53Speaker 1: everything going on in here. Come on, getting here, losing.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I I'm taking families in Fai. Is that junior on
- 18:01Speaker 1: the resort? You here? Right? It's me on the and
- 18:04Speaker 1: y'all come on, we going to dinner. It's on me.
- 18:07Speaker 1: No you did, Yeah, I did. I had a bill
- 18:09Speaker 1: up for three grands for dinner. I'm out here, boy,
- 18:14Speaker 1: but I can't kill I didn't even know I had it.
- 18:16Speaker 1: But I didn't do it. I'm out of here killing dog.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You had a bill for three thousand dollars dog for dinner.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It felt good, man, Man, I didn't even know I
- 18:29Speaker 1: could do that. Welcome to the balls. Dropped my credit card, said,
- 18:35Speaker 1: don't worry about everybody all the It wasn't even the food.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It's the alcohol. Yes, that kill you. Yeah, got to
- 18:42Speaker 1: have limits on that. Oh I feel when you know
- 18:46Speaker 1: what's gonna go through? Man, I credit card? But but
- 18:50Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, Timmy, I didn't know because everybody
- 18:54Speaker 1: watching me. That hell, this card go through because I
- 19:00Speaker 1: get them back. This lobster that's gone. You can kids, Junior,
- 19:07Speaker 1: what did the whole weekend set you back? Total use
- 19:13Speaker 1: and everything? Oh my god, showing your bowling ran this weekend, Junior,
- 19:25Speaker 1: not Junior bawling. And I bought my friends flights. Now.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I put them boys up in first class. They had
- 19:35Speaker 1: never been up there. They was more funny to me.
- 19:39Speaker 1: They had everything. They ran out of Woodford Reserve. There
- 19:45Speaker 1: was no more on display that between the two. Man,
- 19:50Speaker 1: were you celebrating something or you just wanted to know? No, No,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I wanted to do something because those guys had a
- 19:55Speaker 1: hard year and I'm gonna give them something better. I
- 20:00Speaker 1: showed them, showing me. I showed me. I said, y'all,
- 20:03Speaker 1: look at the penthouse. But we need to try to
- 20:04Speaker 1: figure out is how we get that boat out there?
- 20:08Speaker 1: What we're supposed to be looking at. That's next year.
- 20:10Speaker 1: That's next year, and that's gonna be next year. Stiff,
- 20:15Speaker 1: he gotta pay twelve dollars off. No, no, that's not
- 20:18Speaker 1: next year. When is that? That's some years off last time?
- 20:26Speaker 1: Y'all here, y'all here, you're having a good time with
- 20:29Speaker 1: this twelve night good. Yeah, that's out that water now, Well, congratulations,
- 20:36Speaker 1: Junior taught us how to do that. Man, he just
- 20:40Speaker 1: taught me how to do all right. Coming up next
- 20:42Speaker 1: and nephew, Timmy's run that prank back right after this
- 20:46Speaker 1: you're listening to show. Coming up at the top of
- 20:51Speaker 1: the hour, entertainment news, our friend and family member Kevin
- 20:55Speaker 1: Hart is expected to make a full recovery. That is
- 20:58Speaker 1: great news. Great. Yeah, after that horrific car accident. But
- 21:04Speaker 1: right now it is a nephew in the building. We
- 21:06Speaker 1: run that prank back for today. What you got next?
- 21:09Speaker 1: Bottom of the pyramid, Bottom of the pyram, running cat Hello, Hello, hello, hello, yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 1: can you hear me? I'm trying to reach all right, Angela?
- 21:35Speaker 1: Answer him just a second, let me count it down. Okay, Hi,
- 21:41Speaker 1: how are you trying to reach? I'm trying to reach Angela.
- 21:43Speaker 1: This is Angela. Oh yeah, this see Hi Angela. This
- 21:47Speaker 1: is Chip Chip. I'm the new camp director for the
- 21:50Speaker 1: cheerleading camp for the summer. Oh hi, Chip, what can
- 21:52Speaker 1: I do for you? I just want to give you
- 21:54Speaker 1: a courtesy call your daughter? You got her signed up
- 21:56Speaker 1: for four weeks with the camp, right yeah? But Joe, Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 1: this is your guys third year being a part of
- 22:03Speaker 1: the camp, yep, and she's really excited. She loved coming
- 22:06Speaker 1: to the camp and we think it's a great thing
- 22:08Speaker 1: for how to be involved in. What's that? Okay? You
- 22:10Speaker 1: guys just finished the whole cheer leading season two? Am
- 22:13Speaker 1: I right to competition season? Yes? It's coming off of
- 22:16Speaker 1: that right right? Okay, Well, we're getting ready for the
- 22:19Speaker 1: summer and everybody's excited about coming out and being a
- 22:21Speaker 1: part of what's going on. So here's what I wanted
- 22:23Speaker 1: to give you a little bit. Like I said, I'm
- 22:25Speaker 1: the new camp director. I was just starting at this job.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I got a few notes that that we're giving to
- 22:32Speaker 1: me about about, so I wanted to give you a
- 22:35Speaker 1: call and see if I could talk to you about it.
- 22:37Speaker 1: A few notes giving to you about Yeah, just a
- 22:39Speaker 1: couple of notes. I don't think it's anything that we
- 22:41Speaker 1: can make sure it's okay. What kind of note. Well,
- 22:44Speaker 1: it's been brought to my attention that some of the
- 22:46Speaker 1: parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's going
- 22:49Speaker 1: to be there this summer a little concerned about her
- 22:52Speaker 1: being on top of the pyramid, that she's h is
- 22:57Speaker 1: getting a little heavy. Should she wait wait wait wait
- 23:01Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait wait wait wait ho ho ho?
- 23:04Speaker 1: You calling me about some some other pairs and said
- 23:07Speaker 1: about how big my child is or how much my
- 23:11Speaker 1: child ways? Is that what you're work? What I wanted
- 23:14Speaker 1: to let you know was we're gonna put them as
- 23:17Speaker 1: a base at Oh no, you ain't gonna put no
- 23:21Speaker 1: base I don't already take my money. And what you
- 23:23Speaker 1: say your name is Chip and um how long have
- 23:26Speaker 1: you been the director? Because I was just up there
- 23:28Speaker 1: two weeks ago and they told me that she was
- 23:30Speaker 1: gonna be the same position that she was last year
- 23:34Speaker 1: because that is what worked, that's the formation that worked.
- 23:37Speaker 1: So I don't even know what you Supposedly that some
- 23:39Speaker 1: of the girls are complaining that she's too heavy to
- 23:41Speaker 1: hold up. So that's what it seems to be the
- 23:44Speaker 1: problem in there. They're not getting a strong enough pier man.
- 23:46Speaker 1: And I'm wait a minute, wait, wait a minute. I know, well,
- 23:50Speaker 1: she ain't the biggest one. I felt, have you been myself?
- 23:53Speaker 1: My child is not the biggest child lot there? When
- 23:56Speaker 1: it because I would say, you have not seen these
- 23:58Speaker 1: chiples and if some baby, so I felt, okay, hang on, Angela,
- 24:02Speaker 1: I want you to calm down a bit. Now. Aint
- 24:04Speaker 1: nobody gonna calm down because I'd not already paid my
- 24:06Speaker 1: money and this is that I'll be talking about what parents?
- 24:09Speaker 1: What Harrison said? Something? Is it? Uh? Is it? Carrie Man?
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not gonna state who it is, but
- 24:14Speaker 1: let's just say it was several Harris has got something
- 24:18Speaker 1: to say about my child and her position on the
- 24:21Speaker 1: chin leading squad. Because if you ain't gonna fuck up
- 24:23Speaker 1: no names, then I'm gonna lenstand what you're calling me about.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing. When she get out fell
- 24:28Speaker 1: I didn't pay my money. She better not be on
- 24:31Speaker 1: no base. She better be in the hour. I guarantee
- 24:34Speaker 1: you that, right. Nah, I've been hanging with these and
- 24:37Speaker 1: I ain't Nobody said nothing to me about in her
- 24:40Speaker 1: way and all that. Okay, Angela, can you hear me?
- 24:43Speaker 1: I just wanted you to hear me clearly. I haven't
- 24:45Speaker 1: seen these young ladies yet. Once I see them, I
- 24:48Speaker 1: will critique what I think. You don't even need to
- 24:50Speaker 1: be calling me because you ain't even seen nothing. So
- 24:52Speaker 1: you're calling me with something. He says. She's from some
- 24:54Speaker 1: other parents that's been skinned and grinned in my faith,
- 24:57Speaker 1: and they now wanted you been nothing to me. They
- 25:00Speaker 1: have't been in my house. We didn't have parties, always
- 25:02Speaker 1: have to competition every weekend, every other day, and they
- 25:05Speaker 1: couldn't say nothing to me about my baby. I tell
- 25:07Speaker 1: you what, why don't you call your girls on the
- 25:10Speaker 1: three way? Mister Chip? If you can't call him on
- 25:13Speaker 1: the three I got them, I call him on the
- 25:15Speaker 1: three way. Different? Okay, Okay, look, man, all I wanted
- 25:19Speaker 1: to do is make you aware of the possibility that
- 25:21Speaker 1: she may be a Thank you you have made me aware.
- 25:25Speaker 1: And I guarantee you that if I bring my big
- 25:27Speaker 1: yellow up there and come to the practice, I guarantee
- 25:29Speaker 1: you she won't be a face. How much you want
- 25:31Speaker 1: to bet on that, mister Chip. Look, you're gonna quit
- 25:33Speaker 1: holler at me. And I told you I would try
- 25:35Speaker 1: to take a look at these girls. But I'll tell
- 25:37Speaker 1: you what your thought. Is gonna be a face or
- 25:39Speaker 1: she's gonna be a back support, whichever I decide. She's
- 25:42Speaker 1: started to do. Who enough do you think you holly that?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Mister chill, No, that's not how it's gonna go down,
- 25:50Speaker 1: as a matter of fact. As a matter of fact,
- 25:52Speaker 1: mister Chip, are you at the registration to say, but
- 25:54Speaker 1: two days I'm here now while people are registering, Yes,
- 25:57Speaker 1: I am turning around. I tell you what, I'm on
- 26:00Speaker 1: my way up there. Why don't you and the parents
- 26:03Speaker 1: that's been complaining, Why don't all y'all come to the
- 26:06Speaker 1: table and we're gonna have come to Jesus meeting about
- 26:08Speaker 1: whether it's gonna be but just coming up season because
- 26:12Speaker 1: I'm not going to tolerate this. I've been told you,
- 26:14Speaker 1: I haven't paid my money and this high is going down. Game? Wait,
- 26:18Speaker 1: what what is it that your weather game? Way to night?
- 26:20Speaker 1: What does they have to do with her chin meeting dode?
- 26:23Speaker 1: You agree that probably bigger than most of the girls
- 26:26Speaker 1: on the team. Is not bigger than most of the
- 26:28Speaker 1: girls on the team? Uh? Mom, daughter, it's busying and
- 26:32Speaker 1: she wouldn't no base. Last ship they hiked up up
- 26:35Speaker 1: some You gonna get up too. We all just gonna
- 26:37Speaker 1: be big implumped up in the air. I didn't turned around,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and I'm here to tell you the traction table. Let
- 26:42Speaker 1: be with it. I'll be ready before you can't hear.
- 26:45Speaker 1: There's something else I need to tell you. You ain't
- 26:47Speaker 1: gotta tell me thing. All you gotta do is men,
- 26:50Speaker 1: have you and the paris around that table when I
- 26:52Speaker 1: get there, because I'm on my way up there right now.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Then y'all can say all y'all gotta say in my
- 26:57Speaker 1: face before you get it. I just want to let
- 27:00Speaker 1: you know what this is. Nephew timing from the sea
- 27:06Speaker 1: is on this phone. Wait, wait, hold on, hold on,
- 27:10Speaker 1: what did you just say? This is a nephew timing
- 27:13Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning showy god, oh lord, Rochelle,
- 27:25Speaker 1: there's another parent named Rochelle. She told me, y'all are
- 27:27Speaker 1: good friends out there. Oh she got so she want
- 27:30Speaker 1: to break out. All right, we're gonna see Lucason start
- 27:34Speaker 1: daughter uniform. She'll be able to perform a fact when
- 27:36Speaker 1: we looking for hers. How about I want to break
- 27:39Speaker 1: out me? Oh man, hey, let me ask some baby.
- 27:42Speaker 1: What is the baddest I mean, the baddest radio show
- 27:45Speaker 1: in the land, none other than the show not right there.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Uncle Steve was the bottom of the pyramid. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 1: we heard you. I'm just saying it was the bottom
- 28:13Speaker 1: in different ways to not just well, hey can I
- 28:16Speaker 1: can I say this? Man? And you don't you don't
- 28:18Speaker 1: you don't think I do this. But I gotta show
- 28:21Speaker 1: love for everybody. But there's the blues and jazz supper
- 28:23Speaker 1: club that came out to see me in Maryland. But
- 28:27Speaker 1: you know what, at the end of my show, I
- 28:29Speaker 1: let them know. I let them know that my Uncle
- 28:33Speaker 1: Steve is my ride or die to the end. He well, yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 1: and they love you, man, They love you, bro. They
- 28:40Speaker 1: love you to the end and back. Man, they love
- 28:43Speaker 1: we all love you Steve coming up at the top
- 28:46Speaker 1: of the hour entertainment and national news right after this.
- 28:50Speaker 1: You're listening, all right. So guys, our friend and family member,
- 28:58Speaker 1: Kevin Hart, and two others were involved in a car
- 29:01Speaker 1: crash early Sunday morning. That's a boy. Yeah, I know
- 29:06Speaker 1: when we heard this week, Oh my god. And to
- 29:09Speaker 1: see the cars, it's you know, it has to be
- 29:13Speaker 1: a god. There has to be, because they had to
- 29:15Speaker 1: saw off the top of the car. Steve, Yeah, okay.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Jared Black was driving Kevin's nineteen seventy Plymouth Barracuda. This
- 29:25Speaker 1: is according to the police report. When he lost control
- 29:28Speaker 1: of the vehicle, it went off the road, It rolled
- 29:30Speaker 1: down an embankment on LA's treacherous and I do mean
- 29:34Speaker 1: treacherous Mulholland drive. Kevin Hart and Jared Black both suffered
- 29:39Speaker 1: major back injuries. Jared's fiance, Rebecca Broxtrman, who was also
- 29:45Speaker 1: in the car, only suffered minor injuries. The patrol officers
- 29:48Speaker 1: on the scene determined that Jared Black, again, who was
- 29:51Speaker 1: driving Kevin's car, was not under the influence of alcohol
- 29:54Speaker 1: at the time of the collision. Kevin Hart has given
- 29:58Speaker 1: us permission to share with the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 30:01Speaker 1: listeners with our listeners that he underwent a successful back
- 30:04Speaker 1: surgery to repair too fractured vertebrae. All right, so that's
- 30:08Speaker 1: that's what happened. Man, hope you are Yeah, Kevin is
- 30:11Speaker 1: expected to make a full recovery, Tommy, a full recovery. Yeah. Yeah.
- 30:16Speaker 1: And you know something, man, when stuff like this happens, man,
- 30:20Speaker 1: to our people, to our people, you know what I mean? Look, man,
- 30:24Speaker 1: we it's so many fans out there that help us
- 30:27Speaker 1: be who the people we are. You know, without the fans, man,
- 30:30Speaker 1: you don't get to really. You can want to be
- 30:32Speaker 1: a celebrity all you want, and you can want to
- 30:36Speaker 1: be a star all you want. You can want it
- 30:39Speaker 1: all you want, but until people decide that you are such,
- 30:44Speaker 1: then you just not. And so it's a lot of
- 30:48Speaker 1: good people out there, man, that really be pulling for people. Uh.
- 30:52Speaker 1: It's I'm never I guess I can never stop being
- 30:56Speaker 1: surprised at what people do on social media. Man. Yeah,
- 31:02Speaker 1: it's it's like alarming to me. I mean, man, like,
- 31:05Speaker 1: do you know man that this this really is a
- 31:08Speaker 1: very serious situation because like you said, if you if
- 31:10Speaker 1: you looked at the car, yeah, and saw the damage
- 31:13Speaker 1: that was done. It's nothing but God that these people
- 31:17Speaker 1: are alive, you know, And so you know, man, we
- 31:21Speaker 1: we we gotta keep that in mind. Man, we gotta start.
- 31:23Speaker 1: There's a lot of good people too, Steve, No, That's
- 31:26Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It is a lot of good people.
- 31:29Speaker 1: But we gotta focus on those good people because these
- 31:31Speaker 1: haters take over. And you know, man, it's people out
- 31:35Speaker 1: there praying for people. It's people on that people out
- 31:38Speaker 1: there that pray for us on this show when they
- 31:40Speaker 1: hear stuff about man like man, I like the fact
- 31:47Speaker 1: that even even in the David Chappelle's show, I don't
- 31:51Speaker 1: think you've seen it yet, but he acknowledged how good
- 31:54Speaker 1: of a person Kevin Hart is. Kevin Hart is a
- 31:58Speaker 1: good guy. Yeah, he's got a He's just a straight
- 32:01Speaker 1: up good dude. And he might get the wrong rapp
- 32:05Speaker 1: at some time, but at the end of the day,
- 32:07Speaker 1: Kevin is a good guy all day long. Yes, and
- 32:10Speaker 1: human being. You might make mistakes. He made mistakes. Everybody's flawed.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Perfect Who ain't making mistakes right? Yeah? Who ain't gotten
- 32:23Speaker 1: it wrong before? Do you know how many times I
- 32:27Speaker 1: disappointed my mom and daddy? Man, what I made three
- 32:31Speaker 1: of them. Look at God, look at Yeah and again,
- 32:37Speaker 1: yeah and again. Kevin is expected to make a full recovery.
- 32:40Speaker 1: That's the greatness when God show up and show out. Yes, sir, yes,
- 32:44Speaker 1: sir tis there's nothing you can do about it. Now
- 32:47Speaker 1: see let's find out the latest on the investigation. And
- 32:49Speaker 1: another this is another crazy Labor Day weekend story in Texas.
- 32:54Speaker 1: The horrific mass shooting it was in Odessa, Texas. H
- 33:00Speaker 1: Plus the deadly boat fire in California. So let's get
- 33:03Speaker 1: the latest too on Hurricane Dorian. Ladies and gentlemen, miss
- 33:07Speaker 1: Anne trip, thank you. All three stories very important. And
- 33:10Speaker 1: let's start with Hurricane Dorian. It's hung around the Bahamas
- 33:14Speaker 1: and it's still hanging around the Bahamas. It hasn't moved
- 33:17Speaker 1: really like an inch or so, causing considerable damage with
- 33:20Speaker 1: rain and one hundred and fifty mile an hour winds.
- 33:23Speaker 1: It's been downloaded to ground grade to a Category three,
- 33:26Speaker 1: but is still very very dangerous. At least five deaths
- 33:29Speaker 1: are attributed to the storm so far. Dorian still expected
- 33:32Speaker 1: to slam into Florida, though, and then hug the coastline
- 33:35Speaker 1: as it makes its way north. In fact, mandatory coastal
- 33:38Speaker 1: evacuation orders are in effect to a mandatory in nine
- 33:42Speaker 1: Florida counties. In all of coastal Georgia and South Carolina.
- 33:46Speaker 1: They get out of there, That's what offici will say.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Move southern California. The search continues for nine people report
- 33:52Speaker 1: is still missing after a commercial diving boat caught fire,
- 33:55Speaker 1: trapping sleeping passengers on board. The crap became engulfed in flames.
- 33:59Speaker 1: That was the event or a county. At least twenty
- 34:01Speaker 1: five people reported dead. Meanwhile, looks like five of the
- 34:04Speaker 1: crew members on that boat who were awake at the
- 34:06Speaker 1: time they jumped off the ship. Authority say that the
- 34:10Speaker 1: alleged gunman and Saturday's mass shooting in Texas has been fired.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Had been fired that morning. He called police in the
- 34:15Speaker 1: FBI before he went a shooting rampage, but the FBI
- 34:19Speaker 1: says that he was already very enraged and all that
- 34:22Speaker 1: when he called, so it wasn't because he was fired.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Seven people were killed at least twenty two others injured
- 34:26Speaker 1: in the attack, including a seventeen month old little girl.
- 34:29Speaker 1: The suspected shooter who was shot and killed identified his
- 34:32Speaker 1: thirty six year old Seth Aaron atore a prayer vigion
- 34:36Speaker 1: was hell for the victims. Yesterday, the mayor of Middland, Texas,
- 34:38Speaker 1: Jerry Morales, expressed the feelings of the people. We are
- 34:44Speaker 1: devastated by this act from this idiot who hurt our communities.
- 34:51Speaker 1: The latest incident takes place only four weeks after another
- 34:54Speaker 1: white gunman killed twenty two people at a walmart also
- 34:57Speaker 1: in Texas. Authorisay the new jerseyman's expected drug deal named
- 35:01Speaker 1: Joseph Robino has been arrested after Lafayette Township Costs found
- 35:05Speaker 1: a cash of weapons in his home, as well as
- 35:06Speaker 1: a whole lot of Nazi propaganda, even an instructural manual
- 35:10Speaker 1: on owning a slave. Robino is a convicted felon. He
- 35:14Speaker 1: charged a possession to intend to distribute crystal meth and
- 35:17Speaker 1: some other thing. Comedian actor as you heard, Kevin Hart
- 35:19Speaker 1: said to be convalescent after back surgery. He underwent over
- 35:22Speaker 1: the weekend resulting from the injuries he suffered in that
- 35:24Speaker 1: car accident. Sad news from the world of entertainment. Actress
- 35:27Speaker 1: Valley Harper has died. I'm putting this in my mouth.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I should just apply it directly to my hear She
- 35:32Speaker 1: was best known as Rhoda. That was a spin off
- 35:34Speaker 1: from the Mary Tyler Moore Show. She was eighty years old.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And get this, a Catholic school in Nashville, Tennessee has
- 35:39Speaker 1: banned all Harry Potter books because a passer says it
- 35:42Speaker 1: could conjure up evil spirits. This is America, Everybody, back
- 35:47Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show. Well,
- 35:53Speaker 1: yesterday President Trump was golfing in Virginia as millions are
- 35:58Speaker 1: under a mandatory vacuum as Hurricane Dorrian warnings and watchings
- 36:02Speaker 1: are still in effect proportions of the Florida, Georgia and
- 36:05Speaker 1: South Carolina coast. But we all saw the catastrophic damage
- 36:09Speaker 1: and sheer destruction that Dorian did to the northwestern part
- 36:13Speaker 1: of the Bahamas. We all saw that, and our hearts
- 36:15Speaker 1: are with everyone affected by the storm. Listen, if you
- 36:17Speaker 1: want to help, you can text the word Dorian to
- 36:21Speaker 1: nine zero nine nine nine. Again, if you want to help,
- 36:25Speaker 1: you can text the word Dorian to nine zero nine
- 36:28Speaker 1: nine nine for a ten dollar donation to the American
- 36:31Speaker 1: Red Cross. All right like that, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
- 36:35Speaker 1: where we started. And surely for those that king spell
- 36:38Speaker 1: is d O R I A N. Yes, you know
- 36:42Speaker 1: they're are some that don't know how to spell dorian. No,
- 36:45Speaker 1: that's good, that's helpful. Whatever we have to do to
- 36:48Speaker 1: get the help, let's do it. Yeah. But the president
- 36:50Speaker 1: playing golf though, Okay, while all this is going on,
- 36:55Speaker 1: well he played too much golf? Oh yeah, he ways?
- 37:05Speaker 1: Can he play? Does he have games? Can he pay?
- 37:09Speaker 1: He cheats? He does plays? He got third golf course.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Sammy Jackson City cheats. I believe Sam. I know that
- 37:21Speaker 1: means Sam, don't custom see I played with other people
- 37:27Speaker 1: that cheat. We we we do duovers. Ok, yeah, it's
- 37:36Speaker 1: called duovers. What does that mean? So? Like, go ahead, teller,
- 37:41Speaker 1: if you if you take a shot like we play
- 37:44Speaker 1: like this, you get a breakfast ball on the first tea.
- 37:48Speaker 1: That means when you go up there first, your first
- 37:51Speaker 1: shot off the tea. If you don't like it, you
- 37:53Speaker 1: get another one free. That's called a breakfast ball. We
- 37:56Speaker 1: play that, and then after the breakfast ball on the
- 37:59Speaker 1: front nine, you get one mulligan, which means one shot
- 38:05Speaker 1: on that front nine. You can play it again, but
- 38:08Speaker 1: you only get one. Then on the back nine you
- 38:12Speaker 1: get one mulligan on the back nine, because you know,
- 38:15Speaker 1: when you're an amateur player's just some shots you make
- 38:17Speaker 1: where you on a where the hell they come from?
- 38:21Speaker 1: You just need it. You just need it. And that's
- 38:23Speaker 1: how we played. You know, you get it, not Carlin?
- 38:26Speaker 1: How you sorry? You asked yet? Carlin? Words? They cheat? Yeah,
- 38:30Speaker 1: I'm so lost, but but but we cheat with respect,
- 38:35Speaker 1: you know what? Say what I'm saying? Really? Yes, everybody?
- 38:41Speaker 1: All right? Coming up at thirty four after the hour,
- 38:45Speaker 1: check this out. Steve Lebron James filed to trademark the
- 38:48Speaker 1: term Taco Tuesday. And our very own Jay Anthony Brown
- 38:51Speaker 1: is mad about that. We're gonna talk about it. You're listening,
- 38:59Speaker 1: Harymore Show. All right, So Steve, today's Taco Tuesday, all right?
- 39:05Speaker 1: And Lebron James, of course, Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron
- 39:10Speaker 1: James filed a trademark to to term Taco Tuesday. He
- 39:14Speaker 1: wanted you know, he wanted that. Yeah, he wanted that
- 39:16Speaker 1: to be his own. Everybody knows. Everyone knows that, Tommy
- 39:23Speaker 1: for years, what is he talking about? Everyone knows also,
- 39:26Speaker 1: Jay that Lebron loves Taco Tuesday. He's always posting about
- 39:30Speaker 1: it on his on his social media and posting pictures
- 39:34Speaker 1: of his tacos. You know, well, Lebron's company has filed
- 39:38Speaker 1: to trademark Taco Tuesday for a number of different things,
- 39:40Speaker 1: including podcasting. But Steve Jay is a little a little
- 39:45Speaker 1: bitter about it. I'm upset you this dog. I'm gonna
- 39:49Speaker 1: try to fix it. But he has not stopped there, Tommy.
- 39:52Speaker 1: He's gone deeper than just Taco Tuesday. He's gone with
- 39:55Speaker 1: Freaky Friday, Blue Monday, Dave Wins, throw Back Thursday, Lack Friday,
- 40:02Speaker 1: Fish Drive. Asked Wednesday that Tuesday's Mother's Day, Father's Day,

- 40:29Speaker 1: White Cell, Black Cell, Stay, the Hawkins Day, fishing ships.
- 40:34Speaker 1: He's trying to fish and chip ricing beans, and he's
- 40:40Speaker 1: trying to copy right chicken and waffles. He has asked
- 40:43Speaker 1: me to be stopping man. Okay, you got to whip
- 40:47Speaker 1: his ass. Ja. He's deep, man. They can't do what
- 40:56Speaker 1: you Okay, So should we get Lebron on the show
- 41:02Speaker 1: and square that's off, j. Yeah, but you can't claiming
- 41:07Speaker 1: to own Taco Tuesday. Yeah, Jay, we gotta we gotta
- 41:10Speaker 1: square this off. Jay freak brush back to school day, right, resess,
- 41:19Speaker 1: harpy branding, right, sale sale, stay there, Harkins Day, Weekend,

- 41:42Speaker 1: don't think, but I like recess, but I like leap
- 41:49Speaker 1: here because every now and then, yeah, franchise then yeah,
- 41:55Speaker 1: my freaking Monday Day, Wednesday thrown back the Black Friday,
- 42:00Speaker 1: Fish Friday Ash, Wednesday, Tuesday and Mother's Day. Okay, so Jay,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I think we can whoop his ass on fish Fray.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I really do. I think the one thing lebron tacos
- 42:15Speaker 1: come out on time. That's where it all started. It
- 42:25Speaker 1: was a pip pop team. Okay, Well, well you want
- 42:29Speaker 1: to tell everybody where it came from, Jay, It came
- 42:31Speaker 1: from me. I invented Toco Tuesday, nold Taco Tuesday until
- 42:37Speaker 1: I was having Toco. Now your tacos don't show up
- 42:39Speaker 1: in two Wednesday. But that's beside the point. Well, you
- 42:43Speaker 1: should have trademarked Jay, you should have trademarked it. Yet,
- 42:47Speaker 1: trying to be right that everybody using you can't copyright
- 42:50Speaker 1: something everybody used you can't. Well, Lebron is trying to
- 42:53Speaker 1: do at least tried Jay. Sadie Hawking day say, I
- 43:00Speaker 1: ain't here, Sadie Hawkerson's great, I swear to you I
- 43:03Speaker 1: have yeah. Yeah, So Steve, what do you think lebroggle
- 43:15Speaker 1: bury his ass with, Hey, Jane, you're gonna run your
- 43:24Speaker 1: damn mouth. He gonna copyright did Jay spot? And then
- 43:29Speaker 1: he gonna come back And somebody told me he gonna
- 43:32Speaker 1: trademark what's out in now? Everything? All right? Listen, coming
- 43:41Speaker 1: up next to nephew in the building with today's praying

- 47:11Speaker 1: saying that you is that the family seals out the paperwork,
- 47:16Speaker 1: put the name in the birth date on there. If
- 47:18Speaker 1: it is incorrect, it has to be fixed. I have
- 47:21Speaker 1: to call the man out here to fix it. And
- 47:23Speaker 1: that's gonna call some money. I have to pay him.
- 47:26Speaker 1: All I'm saying is if that is the case, if
- 47:29Speaker 1: the paperwork is incorrect, it's not on us, and I
- 47:31Speaker 1: might have to charge you a little extra money just
- 47:33Speaker 1: so I can get it taken care to get charge

- 47:53Speaker 1: If the date and the name ain't fixed, promise you
- 47:57Speaker 1: so help me. But I'm gonna start digging up. And
- 48:00Speaker 1: if you're answering out there, I'm gonna put you in
- 48:02Speaker 1: one of them home. And I'll tell you what vegid.
- 48:05Speaker 1: You're not gonna put me in no home? Man, I
- 48:08Speaker 1: like I said, I try to. I'm trying to talk
- 48:11Speaker 1: to you and tell you what the deal is and
- 48:14Speaker 1: how we will get this fix. Ain't nobody come out
- 48:16Speaker 1: here and dig it up? Nothing. I I bet you
- 48:20Speaker 1: I'm digging and I'll put you. If you don't fix
- 48:24Speaker 1: then we're both were going in the damn hole. That's
- 48:26Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. We're going in that because somebody I
- 48:30Speaker 1: want to fix me around and put the room. You
- 48:32Speaker 1: want to put the room and everything. I don't even
- 48:38Speaker 1: answer the damn phone. My uncle, get excissions, Regid, Regid,
- 48:44Speaker 1: fix nothing. Men, you yelling at each other, we mean,
- 48:48Speaker 1: we don't do this. Yelling at each other is not
- 48:51Speaker 1: gonna fix the problems. I I still have to do
- 48:53Speaker 1: a step here. I have to look at this paperwork.
- 48:56Speaker 1: But when are you gonna look at it? Then? Reg
- 48:58Speaker 1: you keep yelling. I don't even have time to go
- 49:00Speaker 1: over to stay word. Every time I get me look
- 49:01Speaker 1: at something, you're yelling in my head and we men
- 49:03Speaker 1: say this until you one more time. I'm come at mondifucker,
- 49:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna come out there right now. That's what I'm
- 49:07Speaker 1: gonna do. You know what We're to come on there.

- 49:49Speaker 1: to tell you. Yes, you got to say. I'm saying
- 49:52Speaker 1: you're listening to me, Kendrick, you wrap the civil REGI
- 49:56Speaker 1: I got to play. This is miss. You tell me
- 49:59Speaker 1: you just god plank by y'all. Yo, your man, you

- 50:25Speaker 1: Oh man, you got me, but I was gonna get
- 50:28Speaker 1: the whole for your today. Trying to dig all right, Hey, man,
- 50:32Speaker 1: I gotta ask you one more thing. What is the
- 50:35Speaker 1: baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land,
- 50:39Speaker 1: the Steve Hardy Morning Show. How y'all like that was?
- 50:51Speaker 1: I eglanted? Is what I want to know most definite?
- 50:57Speaker 1: You know you know what it's long. It's you see
- 51:00Speaker 1: a touch of stupid. That's all that mattered to me.
- 51:05Speaker 1: It's more than a touch. But okay, okay, touch. We
- 51:09Speaker 1: wouldn't be discussing this way more than is it a
- 51:15Speaker 1: drop or a touch? Which one? Is it a dropping?
- 51:18Speaker 1: Stupid or a touch? Which one? Do you think it is?
- 51:21Speaker 1: All I'm saying here, I just want to make sure
- 51:23Speaker 1: that I made you proud with my stupidity. Wow? Did
- 51:30Speaker 1: I do? Your uncle? I'm talking to my uncle. I've
- 51:33Speaker 1: never been cloud so quit asking. Jesus, you know you
- 51:38Speaker 1: never never got you Okay, okay, wait wait wait wait
- 51:43Speaker 1: wait wait wait. You've never been proud of him, Steve
- 51:47Speaker 1: Well never never well when he got that when he
- 51:54Speaker 1: was the first black to get a degree from the
- 51:57Speaker 1: Art Texas A and M. We was kind of proud
- 52:01Speaker 1: of that. Okay, but but has my stupid though? I
- 52:11Speaker 1: think Lebron wants to trademarket. I was, and that was fair.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I thought I was going to embrace that, but that
- 52:22Speaker 1: was really a little a curveball. You think you ain't
- 52:26Speaker 1: really whit me? Well, I know who is Jay the way?
- 52:34Speaker 1: All right, thank you you. Coming up next, it is
- 52:39Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter, subject my boys Can't be Trusted. Wait

- 53:07Speaker 1: FM and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading
- 53:11Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're gonna
- 53:13Speaker 1: read this one right here, right now. Let's get you
- 53:15Speaker 1: heard what she said, Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:18Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter,
- 53:22Speaker 1: subject my boys Can't be trusted. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've
- 53:26Speaker 1: been worrying about my marriage and how my past actions
- 53:29Speaker 1: may threaten it. A few months ago, my friends and
- 53:32Speaker 1: I went on a guy's trip. We always go on
- 53:35Speaker 1: trips together, and the wives got together and take trips
- 53:38Speaker 1: too well. While I was on the trip, I ate
- 53:42Speaker 1: good and drank a lot. We went clubbing, and since
- 53:46Speaker 1: I love to dance, I was salsa dancing with the
- 53:48Speaker 1: ladies and may have been a little too close to
- 53:53Speaker 1: one particular lady that danced very sensually. I didn't make
- 53:57Speaker 1: out with her or anyone else, but my body language
- 54:00Speaker 1: was inappropriate for a married man. I enjoyed myself on
- 54:05Speaker 1: the trip. But here's where my problems started. We have
- 54:08Speaker 1: a couple of guys in the group that gossip and
- 54:10Speaker 1: share bits and pieces of our trip with their wives
- 54:13Speaker 1: or others. They also are all on social media and
- 54:16Speaker 1: have started recording videos and posting them on Facebook or
- 54:20Speaker 1: on Instagram, and this is causing problems. I'm not on
- 54:23Speaker 1: social media at all, but my wife and the other
- 54:26Speaker 1: wives are. I may have been caught in a few
- 54:29Speaker 1: compromising positions, and my friends don't even check the videos
- 54:32Speaker 1: or pictures before they post them. Again, I'm innocent, but
- 54:38Speaker 1: I am enjoying myself while on vacation and should not
- 54:42Speaker 1: have to worry about my boys. Snapping pictures, the wrong
- 54:45Speaker 1: video and the wrong hands can impact one's marriage and career.
- 54:49Speaker 1: I have told my boys that they are breaking mancode,
- 54:52Speaker 1: but once they start drinking, they all have their phones
- 54:56Speaker 1: out to take pictures. I want to enjoy my vacations peace.
- 55:00Speaker 1: How should I handle this? Help me? Well, you certainly
- 55:04Speaker 1: sound like the adult, the grown man in this group
- 55:08Speaker 1: for sure. And if what you're saying is true that
- 55:11Speaker 1: you didn't make out, meaning go all the way or
- 55:13Speaker 1: sleep with any one of these women that you were
- 55:15Speaker 1: dancing with, that's good. Because you're right posting pictures of
- 55:19Speaker 1: you acting inappropriately and all of that that could get
- 55:22Speaker 1: you in a world of trouble. Not a good look
- 55:24Speaker 1: for a married man. Your friends are wrong. They seem
- 55:27Speaker 1: a little, I don't know, immature, I'll say not because
- 55:32Speaker 1: they're taking pictures and posting. I mean everyone does that,
- 55:36Speaker 1: but these are your boys, you know, And you're right,
- 55:38Speaker 1: you guys do have a certain man code. I mean
- 55:41Speaker 1: women have girl codes. We have that too. I mean,
- 55:45Speaker 1: I just think your friends are wrong. I think if
- 55:47Speaker 1: your wife sees these pictures and sees you in compromising positions,
- 55:50Speaker 1: it's definitely gonna cause some problems in your marriage. Obviously,
- 55:54Speaker 1: she trusts you in the first place to go on
- 55:56Speaker 1: these trips and kick it with your boys. But posting
- 55:59Speaker 1: pictures like these, that's got to stop. I mean, even
- 56:02Speaker 1: if you have to go so far as to not
- 56:04Speaker 1: go on a trip anymore with these guys, because they
- 56:07Speaker 1: can get you in a lot of trouble. I just
- 56:10Speaker 1: think next time, you know, if your wife will let
- 56:14Speaker 1: you go again, you guys need to set some kind
- 56:16Speaker 1: of ground rules. Leave your phones in the hotel rooms,
- 56:19Speaker 1: you know, something like that, and get approval before you
- 56:22Speaker 1: post pictures. Nobody wants to be worried if they're on vacation,
- 56:26Speaker 1: you know, especially if you're not doing anything wrong about
- 56:29Speaker 1: posting pictures and people getting the wrong ideas. Steve, you
- 56:34Speaker 1: know this letter. To most men listening to this letter,
- 56:41Speaker 1: this is like what this is like? Man, you did what?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Every man listening to this don't get it. There are
- 56:54Speaker 1: no men listening to this going oh yeah, yeah, I
- 56:59Speaker 1: could see that. Every man listening to this is going
- 57:03Speaker 1: what all right? Let me let me listen. You know,
- 57:07Speaker 1: y'all take any boys trip, your wives take their trip.
- 57:10Speaker 1: I bet you the wives don't do that. I bet
- 57:13Speaker 1: you don't see the wives posting anything inappropriate. I bet
- 57:18Speaker 1: you on one of them wives trip. They probably went
- 57:21Speaker 1: to a Chippindale show. How almost I'm thinking. I'm just
- 57:26Speaker 1: saying maybe they did, or some burlesque show or something.
- 57:30Speaker 1: A stuffing singles down in draws and all this. Hell,
- 57:34Speaker 1: he won't They probably did. That's what y'all do. But
- 57:40Speaker 1: you ain't gonna see it new because women ain't stupid,
- 57:47Speaker 1: because women are the slickest of the two. Women know
- 57:54Speaker 1: we're gonna do this it girl, you bet not put
- 57:56Speaker 1: a camera out. So it leads me to ask you
- 58:00Speaker 1: this question. What kind of dudes you got? I'm just
- 58:05Speaker 1: real curious, man. Are you not familiar with the phrase
- 58:10Speaker 1: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? You know where
- 58:15Speaker 1: that slogan came from? Everywhere? They ain't just talking about Vegas.
- 58:24Speaker 1: What happened in Philly at the All Star weekend? That
- 58:27Speaker 1: need to stay in Philly at the All Star weekend?
- 58:31Speaker 1: What happened down that Super Bowl down in Miami and
- 58:33Speaker 1: ninety five? They need to stay down now? Huh? What
- 58:40Speaker 1: happened when the All Star Game came to Las Vegas? Huh?
- 58:44Speaker 1: That needs to stay down? You mad I'm just saying,
- 58:52Speaker 1: what happened when the Kings of Comedy tour it in
- 58:54Speaker 1: DC at the w at the MCI Center, that needs
- 58:57Speaker 1: to stay there. I don't know. I'm just saying these
- 59:05Speaker 1: things that need to stay down, what happened that night
- 59:09Speaker 1: after showtime and Depolo that needs to stay down. What
- 59:16Speaker 1: happens in Vegas stays in Vegas is a reference to everywhere. Now,
- 59:23Speaker 1: let me say this about your boys. You said in
- 59:26Speaker 1: the letter, but you know, once you get to drinking,

- 1:00:06Speaker 1: all on social media because your boys don't know how
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to react. So here's what did happen. This dude go
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: on this trip with his boys, but they post stuff
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: on social media. Now, he had a saucy club because
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: he loved it dance and he get with this girl
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and she just doing some inappropriate moves. But he danced
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: some way too close. Come on too y' out there
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: with your boys. You buy yourself. She up on you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: what you're supposed to do. You can't punk out and
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: don't go back. Excuse me? What if you're rubbing up
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: against me? I got the rub back. That's the man law. Yeah,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you rub up on me. I can't punk out? Er
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: er er you know you married, but you know what
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: you got to do. Get your hands on her. Racing,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: let's go. Now, you just saucer dancing and nothing happened
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: but your boys, these ignorant ass puppish you then went
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: somewhere with it's video and stuff and posted it. You know,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: like I said, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: They didn't create that phrase just for Vegas. That's what's
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: happening in New York. Stay in New York. What happened
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: down now at the bachelor party, Stay at the bachelor party.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: All this women do it too. What happened at the
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Chippendale Club stay at the Chippendale Club. Women don't post
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: stuff about each other. You know better and here which
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: leads me to this. Your boys know better too. They
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: ain't that damn young. How old are they? Well, I'm
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, man, when you post, I don't
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: care how drunk you are. It takes something to post. See,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I don't even know how to post. I had high
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: people to post when I want something to go up. Yeah,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: because I don't even know how to post. So when
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you post, it take a little bit of thought. I
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: don't know if you drunk, if you can post or not.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Maybe you're that good at it, but it takes a
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: little bit of work to post something. I think your
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: boys know better. I have a question. How old are they? Naw?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Here's the next statement I want to make. You need
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: a new group of friends? Yes, because if you boys
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: it's doing this? Is you know you got some punk
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: ass friends? Can I just tell you that you just
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: got some punk ass friends. That's doing They dude like that.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: They's so damn stupid they've got to post everything at
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: y'all fifteen. But you're married though, so I know you're grown.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: When people post something, it's into that who you know saying, oh,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I accidentally posted that. No posting is a process, partner,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: You ain't accidentally You intentionally post when you post. So
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: let me tell you something, Dog, you got some punk
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: ass friends. I'm gonna just let you know that God
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: said that. You said that real though, No, for real,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: don't tell me you know that's how I feel on
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: the real Dog, you just got to tell it like
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: it is. And then you're sitting up in the man,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you're gonna mess your marriage up with these dudes right
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: here over nothing. I know where you had you at
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: the Saucy club. You love to dance. She bagging all
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: up on you, but you can't run. She backing up?
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: You got to You got to get crowded. What's that voice?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: If he did decide to back up, what was that
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: voice she had earlier? Oh you, I'm marry. You get
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: over me. You pushing your boot I'm married. I'm here
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: with my friend. They're gonna post it. You stop. You
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: stopped backing that thing up. You stopped, You stopped pushing
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: up on me. I'm married, me and my friend. Y'all
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: stopped recording this. Put y'all's camera down, cut them lights off.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: They're gonna post it punk ass sitting up in the hill.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: So now let's review your boys know better. All y'all
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: need to quit drinking. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: There's a cold you fit to mess around, lose your
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: marriage because you got some punk ass friends. There's an
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: age limit to punk ass friends that I lost all
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: my punk ass friends at twenty six. Twenty six is
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: my cut off. That's real, Dog, twenty six, we're grown.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: It's over half a lifetime ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: cut them all all my punk a friend Now. I
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: had to have some punk ass employees that didn't pimped
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: me and played me, but they wasn't friends. I had

- 1:10:57Speaker 1: it funny. You know why. Steve's a comedian, June's comedians.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: All right, here's the categories. Things you things you ask
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: your mama when she sleep, things you say yeah, things
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you say when your car breaks down, things you say
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: when people call you too early and wake you up,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: and things dumb people say in a horror movie, let
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: me go, where's going? Where's going? Ask your mama it stopped.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Things dumb people say in a horror movie. Let's go yeah,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: let's let's go by. Oh my gosh, go check? Oh
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: oh me here we go? All right, hey, anybody doing there,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna call the authorities stupid well, dumb people. Dumb
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: people say it's called dumb people say, yeah, you might.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Dumb people say, what could possibly go wrong? So? So
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: is this where all the white people went? We're just
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: saying dumb, no, no, But I'm saying it's just where
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: they went. That's where we're going comedy fight exactly. There
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: is things dumb people say in the horror movie, Yes
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: it is. Let's run in the woods. Dumb things people saying,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: the hard thing. Let's go in the house where everybody
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: got killed. It's going out. Things dumb people say in
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: a horror movie. Touch him touch Why would you do that?
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Things dumb people say in a horror movie. Uh, hey, um,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: give me the chainsaw, and then I wait till you
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: come back. Yeah, yeah, I got I got it from

- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I heard that, every one of them. Let's go see
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: the dog. Turn off the light so we can watch TV.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: What what me? All right, guys, thank you, thank you,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Thank you. Comedy Roulette, ladies and gentlemen. Coming up, music,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: more fun from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: back at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: you're listening to show. All right, guys, we do have
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: to keep praying, as we've been saying all morning, for
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: our brothers and sisters in the northern part of the Bahamas.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Hurricane Dorian. As I'm sure you've heard unleashed massive flooding,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: storm winds of up to one hundred and eighty five
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: miles per hour, storm surges of more than twenty feet. Now,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Bahamian officials are conducting rescue efforts. It's a slow moving storm,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Hurricane Durian. It's making its way to the eastern coast
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: of Florida, Georgia and the South Carolina's and emergency evacuations
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: are going on in Florida right now. This storm is
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: not a joke, I know, right, Yeah, it's a slow
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: moving storm worse because they don't go right through, are right, Yeah,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: like it did to the Bahamas. And it's just I
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: mean the destruction. It's just think what happened to the
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: northern was the northern western part of the Bahamas. So
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I've been looking up stuff too to try to see
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: how we can really help our brothers and sisters in
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: the Caribbean. And I know that the Caribbean Emergency Fund
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: and Management System is in Barbados, and they were waiting
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: for the storm to clear so they can go and evaluate.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: And I'm always in the storm of a storm, you
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: know what. This is kind of like a Hurricane Harvey.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: High It just hovered over. It just hovered over. It
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: didn't it didn't move and just kept dropping rain. Wow.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: We're praying for Florida and Carolina, South Carolina and the Baas. Yeah,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: the destruction there. Yeah, all right, We'll have more of
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: You're listening show. All right. So, guys, our friend and
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: family member, Kevin Hart, and two others were involved in
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: a car crash early Sunday morning. Yeah, I know when
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: we heard this week, Oh my god. And to see
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: the car, it's it's you know, it has to be
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: a god. There has to be because they had to
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: saw off the top of the car. Steve, Yeah, okay.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Jared Black was driving Kevin's nineteen seventy Plymouth Barracuda. This
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: is according to the police report. When he lost control
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: of the vehicle. It went off the road, It rolled
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: down an embankment on LA's treacherous and I do mean
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: treacherous Mulholland Drive. Kevin Hart and Jared Black both suffered
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: major back injuries. Jared's fiance, Rebecca Brosterman, who was also
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: in the car, only suffered minor injuries. The patrol officers
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: on the scene determined that Jared Black Again, who was
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: driving Kevin's car, was not under the influence of alcohol
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: at the time of the collision. Kevin Hart has given
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: us permission to share with the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: listeners with our listeners that he underwent a successful back
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: surgery to repair too fractured vertebrae. All right, so that's
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: that's what happened, man, I hope you are. Yeah, Kevin
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: is expected to make a full recovery, Tommy, a full recovery. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: And you know something, man, when stuff like this happens, man,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: to our people, to our people, you know what I mean? Look, man,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: we it's so many fans out there that help us
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: be who the people we are. You know, Without the fans, man,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you don't get to really. You can want to be
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: a celebrity all you want, and you can want to
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: be a star all you want, You can want it
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: all you want, but until people decide that you are such,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: then you just not. And so it's a lot of
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: good people out there, man, that really be pulling for people. Yeah.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Do you know, man, this this really is a very
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: serious situation because, like you said, if you if you
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: looked at the car and saw the damage that was done.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: It's nothing but God that these people are alive, you know,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: And so you know, man, we we gotta keep that
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: in mind. Man, we gotta start. There's a lot of
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: good people too, Steve. No, That's what I'm saying. It
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: is a lot of good people. But we got to
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: focus on those good people because these haters take over
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: who And you know, man, it's people out there praying
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: for people. It's people on that people out there that
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: pray for us on this show when they hear stuff
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: about Man. Man, I like the fact that even even
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: in the David Chappelle's show, I don't think you've seen
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: it yet, but he acknowledged how good of a person
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Kevin Hart is. Vin Hart is a good guy. He's
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: just a straight up good dude. And and he might
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: get the wrong rapp at some time at the end
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: of the day, Kevin is a good guy all day long. Yeah,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: we'll be back with our last break of the day
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: and some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Harvey at forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, It's been a good day,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: a good Tuesday after a long Labor Day weekend. Um,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: you know, our prayers and our thoughts and our well
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: wishes and everything go out to the many people and
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: the Bahamas and of course Florida and the Carolinas and Georgia. Wow,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: it's Hurricane Dorian makes its way. Our hearts and prayers
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: go out to the people down there. You know, this
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: is when Mother Nature is doing this thing is it's
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: nothing we can do. Protect ourselves by paying attention to
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: the warnings, protect each other by looking out for your neighbors,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: to eld, deleted, young and all of that. You know,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: pay attention to what's going on. But but heat all
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: the warnings and act accordingly. That's the smartest thing that
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: we can do. In almost like that, And you got
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: to stay proud Foray'll talk to y'all about something I learned. Um.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: You know, I'm oftentimes talking about my success. Speeches and
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: and and seminars that I do are usually always centered
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: around the proper mindset. You know. I don't go to
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: share with people or try to teach people to put
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: a particular thing. What I try to share with people
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: is how to develop the proper mindset to become successful.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Because that's all I had. You know, I didn't have
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: an education or you know, I didn't I didn't have
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: a great deal of book knowledge. You know, I was
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: just never that guy. But I was. I've always been,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: or I consider myself a person that has a level
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: of wisdom. And one of the things that I try
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: to share with people is the mindset. Well, I learned
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: something recently. I actually learned it back in March. Now
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I'm going to paraphrase something that I read in a
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: daily devotional that a lady on my job gave to
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: me named Jennifer. She's a sound tech for my talk
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: show for years, and she also works with me on
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: family feud. She's what we call our Christian lady, but
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: she's a young sister, but she's really really committed. You know,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: when she feel your spirit being down, she prayed for you.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: That's just just good people, man. So she gave me
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: this daily devotional called Jesus Calling, and I was reading
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: it and back and it taught me something. Because you know,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: in my discussions about mindset, I've always told people that
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: one of the things that motivated me was a long
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: time ago, I heard the scripture that says he comes
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: to give you life and give you life more abundantly.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: And so I used to just ask God for my abundance.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I really did, but I wasn't I didn't really know
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: exactly what they meant. I was just thinking in terms
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: of material and you know, I need some help man
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: with my finances and all of that. That's the abundance
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I've talked it's about. But I learned back in March
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: that abundant life doesn't necessarily mean health or wealth. What
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: it was really trying to get me to understand, and
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: what this book has been trying to do is get
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: me to have a closer walk, just so just to
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: open up my heart to create more room for God,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: you know, so God can come in and operate a
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: little bit better. God can come in, but you got
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: to make room for him. You know, you can't block
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: him out with all your your business and the chaosis
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: in your day, you know, and everything, and then and
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: then making him last, and then just calling on him
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: when you get in trouble. You know, he just he's
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: been trying to share with me how I should talk
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: to him about everything, whether it's my physical it's decisions
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I'm making in business, it's problems I'm having with my family,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: you know, as things you might wanted to discuss about
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: your marriage. I'm talking about everything. You know, when you
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: hear old people something else pray without season, they talking
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: about with everything. Now, I've never really done that, to
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: be honest with you. You know, I pray about certain things,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: but I just really started getting into the habit of
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: talking to God about everything. And this abundant Life was
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: talking to me more about health and wealth. It was
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: about staying in continual touch with God so you can
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: have a more of a bigger presence in your life.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: And that right there will give you an abundant life
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: within it self. Because what happens to a lot of
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: people is you when you wake up in the morning,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you try to fit your day into this preconceived mold
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: that you have about how you think the day are
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: to go. So you spend all your time trying to
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: fit this day that God gives us, give us this
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: day our daily Read that line right there, or today
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: is the day that the Lord has maid. Let us
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: rejoice and be glad in it. That right there. We
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: try to take that precious gift of the day and
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: we try to fit that into a preconceived mold of
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: what we have. So what He tries to get us
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: to do instead of putting it into this preconceived mold
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: that you got, what God really wants us to do
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: is relax and be on the lookout for what He doing.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: See that's the thing, man, when you say the Lord's prayer,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that's the part out and finally got in my head.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: Give us this day our daily bread. Just let me
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: get through to day. Help me with my decisions today.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Show me what I should be handling today. Tell me
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: how to look get through today. This mindset instead of
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: trying to fit your day into this preconceived mold. This
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: mindset of watching to see what God gonna do. Now,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: faith with our works is dead, so I ain't just
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: just sit on your tail and don't do nothing but
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: see what He got for you. When you do this mindset,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: it actually will free you up to enjoy your day
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: better and actually find what God had planned for you.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: His plan is way better than the one you got anyway.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: So when you turn everything over to Him, when you
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: stay in constant prayer with him, what it does is
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: it frees your mind up to relax because half of
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: our pressure, high blood pression, and depression. And half of
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: this stuff is because we're just wearing about stuff that
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: we actually have no control over. That's not the sole
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: reason for depression. I'm just saying that's just one of
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: the things. We're so worried and caught up in what
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: we need to be doing that we don't focus and
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: let him do it. That's one of the biggest things
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I've learned today, and it frees your mind up. And
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: that's one of the things I'm gonna finish this tomorrow.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you like a part two to the tomorrow,
