- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your
- 1:58Speaker 1: back a huh? I show will good morning everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 1: are listening to the voice one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Come on, y'all. I said that
- 2:13Speaker 1: a little bit wrong this morning. But I'm tired. I
- 2:15Speaker 1: just came out to the gym. I'm a little out
- 2:17Speaker 1: of sorts right now, but it's okay. I'll pull it together.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But let me tell you something, man, I got a
- 2:23Speaker 1: clear cut message for you today. I really do you know.
- 2:27Speaker 1: As I've gotten older, I've began to take some supplements.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And supplements are to help your body in things that
- 2:41Speaker 1: it doesn't produce as much as it used to. Supplements
- 2:49Speaker 1: are designed to help you replenish what's been depleted in
- 2:56Speaker 1: your body as supplements. Now, now people, I can tell
- 3:02Speaker 1: you can speak a lot more aggressively and a lot
- 3:05Speaker 1: more knowledgeable on this subject. But just giving you a
- 3:09Speaker 1: just a brief overview of minderstanding of now, if you've
- 3:15Speaker 1: been living your life for a while, supplements are necessary
- 3:22Speaker 1: for most of us now. Also, if you've been living
- 3:30Speaker 1: your life for a while spiritually, you may need some
- 3:36Speaker 1: supplements because you've just been at it for a while.
- 3:42Speaker 1: You don't got woe down a little bit, You're tied
- 3:46Speaker 1: some people around you, ain't changing. Some people around you draining.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's just life just keeps on coming. Life don't ever
- 3:55Speaker 1: get no easier. It just you become more knowledgeable about
- 3:59Speaker 1: how to handle it. It does not get any either easier.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You continue to lose loved ones, you continue to have
- 4:06Speaker 1: to confront the challenges. It's just that over course of
- 4:09Speaker 1: time you become experienced and you can handle them better.
- 4:13Speaker 1: But life don't get no easier. But spiritually you get
- 4:19Speaker 1: a little bit worn down. Well, you need some spiritual
- 4:22Speaker 1: supplements too. And I'm just gonna flat out tell you,
- 4:28Speaker 1: the more God that you can replenish yourself with, the
- 4:34Speaker 1: higher the dosage of God that you are willing to
- 4:38Speaker 1: put into your spiritual self, the possibilities then become limitless.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You actually have the ability to make a conscious decision
- 4:53Speaker 1: to supplement your body, and you have a conscious decision
- 4:58Speaker 1: to supplement your spirit. You can do both. So what
- 5:04Speaker 1: I did was, I could just tell you what I did.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I was taking all these supplements. I started taking supplements
- 5:10Speaker 1: where I was about forty five. I think that's when
- 5:12Speaker 1: I began. I was thinking about it one day and
- 5:17Speaker 1: I just went wild. Man. I started talking to some
- 5:20Speaker 1: knowledgeable people. I found out I needed these things. But
- 5:23Speaker 1: then spiritually, man, I started supplementing myself too. I started
- 5:26Speaker 1: praying some more. I started trying to gain a little
- 5:30Speaker 1: bit more knowledge and wisdom and understanding from scriptures and
- 5:34Speaker 1: just try to make sense of all of it, you know,
- 5:38Speaker 1: just just make a little bit more sense out of
- 5:40Speaker 1: my life, make sure that I was on the right path.
- 5:44Speaker 1: A matter of fact, get on the right path, find
- 5:47Speaker 1: out my real purpose and my mission in life. And
- 5:50Speaker 1: nobody can do that for you. That's something that you
- 5:52Speaker 1: have to want to do. But I started supplementing my
- 5:56Speaker 1: spiritual side of my life and supplementing my body. Now
- 6:00Speaker 1: I happen to be right now about in the best
- 6:04Speaker 1: shape I've ever been in. Technically, I can assure you
- 6:09Speaker 1: though I am in the best shape spiritually I have
- 6:13Speaker 1: ever been in. Now my body has looked better, it
- 6:17Speaker 1: really has. I mean, come on now, at who I
- 6:21Speaker 1: am in life, at the stage with the years I've
- 6:23Speaker 1: been walking this earth. Man, I'm cool, But spiritually I'm
- 6:28Speaker 1: in the best shape I've ever been in. And what
- 6:31Speaker 1: it has done for me, y'all is it's gave me
- 6:34Speaker 1: a peace and a calmness. You know, it used to be, man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I used to fight so hard against people who attack. Now, man,
- 6:41Speaker 1: it ain't. It ain't as serious to me because now
- 6:44Speaker 1: I have a full understanding that if I come under attack,
- 6:48Speaker 1: that God is with me, because that's a promise he made.
- 6:52Speaker 1: That's Isaiah fifty four seventeen. That's that's that's. Any weapon
- 6:57Speaker 1: form to gainst you, any weapon form to give you,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you shall not prosper. You can't. You can't come and
- 7:03Speaker 1: get me. I'm not here for you to take down
- 7:07Speaker 1: because you didn't put me here. So why would I
- 7:11Speaker 1: feel a person bringing me down when they're not the
- 7:14Speaker 1: reason that I'm here. So when you attack me, you
- 7:18Speaker 1: have to be careful because I ain't ever by myself,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I formed a relationship with the most high that I
- 7:27Speaker 1: can rely on for protection, for coverage, and for peace.
- 7:31Speaker 1: A lot of times when things used to stress me out,
- 7:35Speaker 1: how to run this, how to handle this, how to
- 7:37Speaker 1: deal with that? You know, famous rough Man. And then
- 7:40Speaker 1: you put that together with some business, and you put
- 7:42Speaker 1: that together with your family. You got a lot of
- 7:44Speaker 1: stuff you're trying to tend to. I have a peace
- 7:47Speaker 1: of mind about it now because I have someone who
- 7:52Speaker 1: provides me with a sense of understanding and calmness that
- 7:56Speaker 1: lets me know that this tool shall pass. That it
- 8:00Speaker 1: ain't just a saying that I heard old people say that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: It ain't just something my mama used to tell me.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's something that can really happen. Once you get an understanding,
- 8:09Speaker 1: this tool shall pass. This is just another piece of
- 8:13Speaker 1: life that you are now better equipped to handle. I'm
- 8:17Speaker 1: telling you what it's done for me. A millions of
- 8:20Speaker 1: people out there hear me. Man has done the same
- 8:23Speaker 1: thing for them. I'm telling it new to some people,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but there's some people that show enough understand what I'm saying.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And then if you have known this but kind of
- 8:32Speaker 1: forgot it, it's time for some supplements. So when you
- 8:37Speaker 1: get like that, and now you find yourself in a
- 8:40Speaker 1: situation with a disease or something, you gotta do something. Nah,
- 8:46Speaker 1: you gotta start juicing all your greens. You gotta start
- 8:48Speaker 1: detoxing your body. You gotta start purifying the system. See,
- 8:52Speaker 1: the human body has always had a way to repair
- 8:56Speaker 1: itself if you just give it a chance. Your mind
- 8:59Speaker 1: has always had a chance to repair itself if you
- 9:03Speaker 1: give it a chance, and your spirit always has a
- 9:07Speaker 1: chance to repair itself, if you give it a chance.
- 9:11Speaker 1: It's the only way I can maintain at this level,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and it's the only way I have any chance of
- 9:17Speaker 1: going further. I have to increase my dosage of spiritual supplements.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I gotta talk to God a little bit more. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: got to pray a little bit more. I got to
- 9:31Speaker 1: understand his word a little bit more. That's all I'm
- 9:35Speaker 1: telling you. Man, If you do that, if you just
- 9:38Speaker 1: pray more, if you just study a little bit more, Man,
- 9:42Speaker 1: just try to get it, understand it, ask him to
- 9:44Speaker 1: help you understand. It will open up the possibilities of
- 9:48Speaker 1: your life into a realm you never could have imagined.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I'm telling you that's real. Okay, you're listening to jail.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I have your divided attention please. This is the Steve
- 10:05Speaker 1: Harvey Morny Show. Hope everybody's doing well today. This show
- 10:09Speaker 1: is dedicated to people who are feeling absolutely wonderful about
- 10:13Speaker 1: their position in life, meaning they are just grateful to
- 10:18Speaker 1: be here. Oh, you may want to be a little
- 10:20Speaker 1: bit further up the letter, and I got that. But
- 10:23Speaker 1: if you are grateful for where you are, this show
- 10:26Speaker 1: is dedicated to the grateful. This morning, Chirlett Strawberry, grateful, grateful, grateful.

- 11:17Speaker 1: hell no, he just wanted to do Shenanigans and foolishness,

- 11:51Speaker 1: the radio job, broad cast communication, I don't need no
- 11:55Speaker 1: school for this. Speaking for myself, really, I'm talking really,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I ain't got why I got. I ain't go to
- 12:02Speaker 1: school for this? Junior, did you go to school for this?
- 12:05Speaker 1: I didn't even know the hair class? Steve Tommy, did
- 12:08Speaker 1: you go to school for this? I did not? I
- 12:11Speaker 1: have to say I didn't, Steve. When you did your comedy,
- 12:16Speaker 1: your stand up comedy, they have rules. When the lights
- 12:19Speaker 1: come on, you know to wrap it up. Okay, everybod
- 12:22Speaker 1: I don't. Everybody, you don't when you want to make
- 12:30Speaker 1: a comedian who is seasoning? You're gonna make a man light? Okay?

- 12:40Speaker 1: You got Timmy lunch meat for to come up in next?
- 12:43Speaker 1: And say, I got I'm up here and you're gonna
- 12:48Speaker 1: get me the damn like I'm gonna here ripping the room?

- 13:10Speaker 1: No no shoulders? Oh? Yes we do they have Okay, yeah,
- 13:17Speaker 1: you don't do that rules. You just can't get on
- 13:23Speaker 1: anything and do whatever you want to do. All right?
- 13:26Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour. Thanksgiving
- 13:31Speaker 1: week away, thanks Giving one week ago. We'll talk about
- 13:39Speaker 1: it right after this. What you're listening to the string show?
- 13:45Speaker 1: All right? But Thanksgiving just a week away. A lot
- 13:47Speaker 1: of people are probably already itching, just itching to haul
- 13:50Speaker 1: their Christmas decorations out of the attic. A lot of
- 13:53Speaker 1: people have them up already or the garage. Yeah, they
- 13:59Speaker 1: never took them down. Oh you didn't, I got hey, Hey,
- 14:09Speaker 1: my Pardner mama, A tree was five feet tall. She
- 14:13Speaker 1: kept it decorated all year long, set it in the
- 14:16Speaker 1: basement with a sheet over it. Every Christmas, my boy
- 14:22Speaker 1: and his brother had to go down and lift that trio.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Don't tilt, none of them on him. It's off. Come
- 14:28Speaker 1: up the steps to that tree v and take sheet off.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Dad was. They didn't decorate every year. They didn't take
- 14:34Speaker 1: them bobs off, the same galling everything. That tree was
- 14:36Speaker 1: a raggings. Look at tree, I mean ragged ass. Look
- 14:45Speaker 1: at tree, man garling old you know what it's been
- 14:47Speaker 1: sitting out. You know it ain't sparkling no more. He's
- 14:51Speaker 1: just call it. Yeah, man, that's so crazy. Well, anyway,
- 14:58Speaker 1: as it turns out, unless you want to spad and
- 15:00Speaker 1: an arm and a leg on a tree, you may
- 15:02Speaker 1: want to wait a few weeks before you go tree shopping. Okay.
- 15:06Speaker 1: According to the National Christmas Tree Association, Christmas Eve is
- 15:11Speaker 1: the cheapest day to buy a Christmas tree, with the
- 15:13Speaker 1: average price. Yeah, but I mean, of course it is. Yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 1: the average price of a tree just fifty dollars last year. Yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 1: of course that's too late. That's way too late, way
- 15:25Speaker 1: too late. The most expensive day to buy a tree
- 15:28Speaker 1: is Cyber Monday. With trees costing on the average about
- 15:32Speaker 1: eighty four dollars last year, and don't expect any Black
- 15:36Speaker 1: Friday deals on Christmas trees either, with the average price
- 15:39Speaker 1: of a tree on that day about seventy nine dollars. Okay,
- 15:42Speaker 1: that's the average price. Mmmmm yeah, I'm gonna stay out
- 15:47Speaker 1: this conversation. You start growing your tree last Christmas. Yeah,
- 15:56Speaker 1: I think that's awesome, though, Steve. I think three yeals ago,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Doe what I mean I heard him? I didn't hear
- 16:02Speaker 1: him talking. I think that's wonderful that because people don't know.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I think that things like that exist. You don't open
- 16:11Speaker 1: a new world to people to just for people to dream.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know somebody told it to me, right
- 16:19Speaker 1: you learned how I found out about it? You know,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I ain't even Yeah, yeah, you know how about the
- 16:27Speaker 1: tree three years from You can't tell me back now?
- 16:31Speaker 1: You know, because of because of this right here, you're
- 16:35Speaker 1: gonna ask me how much it calls? We don't I
- 16:39Speaker 1: really know that, don't I want to know that? And
- 16:41Speaker 1: what's he gonna say to me at a little hating
- 16:45Speaker 1: rne Okay, tree? Yeah, how much is this tree? Uncle Steve?
- 16:53Speaker 1: How much? Come on? Tell the real Steve, do the
- 16:57Speaker 1: real Tommy you were doing, Steve? How much is the tree? See?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Still hate? Still? How much the damn tree? Man? Get
- 17:11Speaker 1: tell me? You do know it's rude to ask people
- 17:13Speaker 1: how much things cost, though you do, but yeah, that's
- 17:19Speaker 1: kind of seal about the tradition of it all. Let's
- 17:23Speaker 1: talk about the tradition what you do, Steve, and how
- 17:26Speaker 1: you get the tree and all of that. Because he's
- 17:29Speaker 1: a bit, Let's talk about what's on the table. How
- 17:33Speaker 1: much is the damn tree? If he like, right now
- 17:37Speaker 1: he ordered a tree for twenty twenty two, right now?
- 17:42Speaker 1: How much is the treat? We're playing this far in advance.
- 17:45Speaker 1: How much the treat? Wow? Okay, a tree? That's why
- 17:56Speaker 1: he doesn't want to answer you. Wait minute, wait, wait,
- 17:59Speaker 1: wait wait crazy thirteen hundred It ain't thirteen hundred, did see, Jane?
- 18:06Speaker 1: You didn't made a mistake. You didn't miss the damn zero?
- 18:08Speaker 1: How much? How much tree? What? Over here? He't over here?
- 18:20Speaker 1: See the hate has spread it for something that growing
- 18:27Speaker 1: out the ground. It's a special kind of tree. You guys, Okay,
- 18:32Speaker 1: you're gonna have to quit act like you have been
- 18:34Speaker 1: out there to the past. You're like you got one
- 18:36Speaker 1: of the tree. I don't know when he told us
- 18:39Speaker 1: about it. I can listen and appreciate and dream. I'm
- 18:43Speaker 1: just saying it ain't like you know, your family already
- 18:45Speaker 1: told us. You don't go in the field and do nothing.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You ain't helped the lights though they put the lights on.
- 18:51Speaker 1: See there, ain't you well what a tree liver in
- 18:58Speaker 1: the forest? But which one? Which one? You know? You know, man,
- 19:03Speaker 1: they have nurseries. They grow these trees. They're not They're
- 19:06Speaker 1: not just in the woods. You know. They have tree farms,
- 19:09Speaker 1: tree nurseries, and they grow them and they're gonna charge
- 19:13Speaker 1: a lot of money. They're huge trees. But they're gonna
- 19:16Speaker 1: charge your money. They're gonna ship it to you and
- 19:18Speaker 1: then they're gonna put it up with the scaffold and
- 19:20Speaker 1: then put the lights on it and then bring it
- 19:22Speaker 1: to your house. It don't come with no gifts. But
- 19:27Speaker 1: he ain't. We're not finished yet, Junior. You said, he
- 19:30Speaker 1: said that was right. I know what he saw. Much
- 19:33Speaker 1: is the tree? You said he missed to zero. Let's
- 19:36Speaker 1: move on, Yeah, totally. The objective what was for us
- 19:41Speaker 1: to all get treat You don't have to get the
- 19:55Speaker 1: damn tree. You don't have to get the damn tree.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm calling them about this here with your ignorant ass
- 20:03Speaker 1: about what I'm doing in my household rights. He didn't
- 20:06Speaker 1: got so big. Hey, you all listen now, you banned
- 20:08Speaker 1: thirteen thousand dollars trees that dead tree last year. Tommy.
- 20:13Speaker 1: It's the same three I had five years ago. They're artificial.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I just pray that start through the house and make
- 20:18Speaker 1: it smell right, all right, listen, coming up next, the
- 20:24Speaker 1: nephew is here with run that prank back that's coming
- 20:28Speaker 1: up right after this, run that tree backs. You're listening
- 20:33Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 20:37Speaker 1: of the hour, and Entertainment News. Julia Roberts says Harriet Tubman. Interesting,
- 20:46Speaker 1: you heard me. We'll talk about it. Also in Music
- 20:48Speaker 1: News twenty twenty, Grammy nominations were announced yesterday. Our girl
- 20:52Speaker 1: Lizzo leads the pack. Lizzo in the lead, plusman sand
- 20:56Speaker 1: will be here with today's national news at the top
- 20:59Speaker 1: of the hour. But right now, nephew in the building
- 21:01Speaker 1: would run that break back. What you got for his mother?
- 21:07Speaker 1: Get mother? Let's go hell? Yeah, Roger, can I speak
- 21:14Speaker 1: to Roger? Yeah? Roger. Hey this Calvin Man. How you doing.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I go to the same church, y'all go too, Okay,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I got your number from one of the guys at
- 21:22Speaker 1: the church. Man. They told me that if I wanted
- 21:24Speaker 1: to talk to y'all, I could reach out to you
- 21:26Speaker 1: or whatever. How you doing today? I'm good, man, I'm good.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I can help your your wife. Man. Does she I'm
- 21:31Speaker 1: not trying to be disrespectful anything, but she seems to
- 21:33Speaker 1: be real fit? Does she? Does? She work out all
- 21:35Speaker 1: the time? Yeah? She go to January once in a while. Bro? Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 1: who who is this? Bro? Like I said, my name
- 21:40Speaker 1: Calvin Man. We go to the same church. Listen, me
- 21:43Speaker 1: and my wife been trying for a long time. Many
- 21:45Speaker 1: actually have some kids. And to be honest with you,
- 21:49Speaker 1: Roger Man, it just ain't happening, dog. I mean, we've
- 21:52Speaker 1: been trying and trying. But what I'm trying to do
- 21:55Speaker 1: now just find another type of way to make this happen. Now,
- 21:59Speaker 1: you say your wife is in good condition, right, My
- 22:03Speaker 1: wife is in good condition. Brother. What what did she
- 22:05Speaker 1: got to do with you and your wife trying to
- 22:07Speaker 1: have a baby? She You know y'all already got kids,
- 22:10Speaker 1: don't you y'all got Like from what the brothers the
- 22:13Speaker 1: church told me, y'all got three kids right there? We
- 22:14Speaker 1: got three. I got two boys in the girl. Okay,
- 22:18Speaker 1: here's what I'm trying to do. Man, I was hoping
- 22:21Speaker 1: that I could find somebody, a female that would be
- 22:24Speaker 1: a good seagant mother or what you know. What I'm

- 31:08Speaker 1: get to this Julia Roberts story. Please from Music to
- 31:13Speaker 1: Movie News. Uh, Julia Roberts is Harriet Hobman. Can you
- 31:17Speaker 1: see that? No? Yeah, A lot of people. A lot
- 31:20Speaker 1: of people can't. Uh, that's um what one Hollywood executive
- 31:25Speaker 1: reportedly suggested. That's according to Gregory Alan Howard, who wrote
- 31:29Speaker 1: the screenplay to Eric Harriet. He says the film has
- 31:33Speaker 1: been in development for twenty six years. Guys. He wanted
- 31:37Speaker 1: to turn The Underground Railroad Conductor's Life into an action
- 31:41Speaker 1: adventure film, but the climate and Hollywood was different at
- 31:44Speaker 1: that time, and that's when the Exact floated the idea
- 31:47Speaker 1: of Julia Roberts. When questioned about it, Howard does the
- 31:51Speaker 1: Exact offered, Yeah, it was long ago. No one is
- 31:54Speaker 1: going to know the difference. Woe. That's so you can act,
- 32:01Speaker 1: but you have to draw on something else to play
- 32:05Speaker 1: that role. I would think. Let me tell you think
- 32:07Speaker 1: you have to have something to draw. Go ahead, Julia
- 32:10Speaker 1: gonna need Harriet to come save her ass. If she
- 32:12Speaker 1: played that role and get her to free, I don't
- 32:15Speaker 1: think she would have played it. No, I don't think
- 32:18Speaker 1: she would have too. I don't think this is anything
- 32:20Speaker 1: that Julia Roberts would have even considered. Yeah, that's why
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm with you on that, Steve. Yeah, and I like
- 32:26Speaker 1: Julia Roberts. And listen, if you haven't seen the movie Harriet.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Please over the holidays, when you get a chance, please
- 32:35Speaker 1: go to who thinks Harriet is a tall, slim white woman.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I'm right, help me with what makeup? You want to
- 32:45Speaker 1: piss black people off? Do that? Yeah? All black people
- 32:49Speaker 1: here out of work all right? Time now Steve for
- 32:51Speaker 1: today's headlines. Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together,
- 32:59Speaker 1: the lovely, talented, the wonderful to miss and Trip. Thank you, folks.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Good morning, doth Vader. This is Andrip with the news. Everybody,
- 33:08Speaker 1: Good morning. Okay. Last night's Democratic presidential debate, ten candidates
- 33:12Speaker 1: made their cases to the American people. Not up there
- 33:14Speaker 1: where Beto Rourke, He's dropped down. Julian Castewell also has
- 33:17Speaker 1: left the field. Meanwhile, former Assachusetts Governor de ball Patrick
- 33:20Speaker 1: you know, has entered the race, and former New York
- 33:22Speaker 1: City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has his name on a couple
- 33:25Speaker 1: of Southern primaries. By the way, last night all the
- 33:27Speaker 1: candidates made good points. For instance, New Jersey Senator Corey
- 33:30Speaker 1: Booker spoke about President Trump's foreign policy. Here's a larger
- 33:33Speaker 1: battle going on on the planet Earth right now between
- 33:36Speaker 1: totalitarian dictatorial countries and free democracies, and we see the
- 33:41Speaker 1: scorecard under this president not looking so good, with China
- 33:44Speaker 1: actually shifting more towards an authoritarian government, with its leader
- 33:48Speaker 1: now getting rid of even term limits. And so I
- 33:51Speaker 1: believe we need a much stronger policy, one that's not
- 33:53Speaker 1: led as President Trump seems to want to do in
- 33:55Speaker 1: a transactional way, for one that's led by American values.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Senator count Olaharas talked about how black people, black women
- 34:02Speaker 1: in particular, are ignored by the Democratic Party although they
- 34:05Speaker 1: used us for voting. Vice President Joe Biden talked about
- 34:08Speaker 1: foreign policy under President Trump, saying this guy doesn't know
- 34:10Speaker 1: what he's doing. House Intelligence Committee her testimony yesterday from
- 34:14Speaker 1: star witness Ambassador Gordon to Sonlon, who answered questions for
- 34:17Speaker 1: about seven hours. Sonlon said everybody was in the loop,
- 34:20Speaker 1: that President Trump wanted Ukraine to announce that they were
- 34:23Speaker 1: investigating the Bidens, and that it was as plain as
- 34:25Speaker 1: the nose on your face. Was there a quit pro
- 34:28Speaker 1: quo with regard to the requested White House call and
- 34:32Speaker 1: the White House meeting? The answer is yes, that was Sonlon. However,
- 34:35Speaker 1: the President spoke to reporters later he claimed not to
- 34:39Speaker 1: have done that, and he also claimed not to even
- 34:41Speaker 1: know Sonlin, even though he imported appointed him ambassador to
- 34:45Speaker 1: the European Union. I don't know him very well. I
- 34:47Speaker 1: have not spoken to him much. Is not a man
- 34:50Speaker 1: I know well. It seems like a nice guy, though,
- 34:52Speaker 1: but I don't know him well. I say to the ambassador.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Is my answer? I want nothing. I want nothing. I
- 34:59Speaker 1: want quel Chink should do the right thing. Gordon Sonner
- 35:05Speaker 1: was barely known outside of his hometown of Portland, Oregon.
- 35:07Speaker 1: He's the owner of several midsize hotel but he donated
- 35:10Speaker 1: a million dollars to Trump's inaugural In sports, Colin Kaepernick's
- 35:14Speaker 1: lawyer says that two teams seem interested in hiring him.
- 35:17Speaker 1: The attorney on the Adam carroll A Show says something
- 35:19Speaker 1: may happen within the next ten days. One team sought
- 35:22Speaker 1: to be the Carolina Panthers, the other the Seattle Seahawks.
- 35:25Speaker 1: I guess we'll see. Former First Lady Michelle Obama earned
- 35:28Speaker 1: a Grammy nomination yesterday in the spoken Word category for
- 35:31Speaker 1: the audio version of her best selling memoir, But so
- 35:34Speaker 1: did Lizzo singles Hey, ymtter, that's the truth Girl. Back
- 35:41Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Mourning Show. You're listening to the
- 35:44Speaker 1: sty Show. A political reporter named Alexei mcammon has accused
- 35:50Speaker 1: Charles Barkley of making inappropriate remarks while speaking to her
- 35:54Speaker 1: off the record late Tuesday at a political unspecified event.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Just FYI, Charles, Charles Barkley told me tonight, I don't
- 36:04Speaker 1: hit women, but if I did, I would hit you.
- 36:07Speaker 1: And then when I objected to that, he told me
- 36:09Speaker 1: I couldn't take a joke. Alexeie McCammon said she hated
- 36:13Speaker 1: being part of a story, but those who threatened violence
- 36:15Speaker 1: should be held accountable and that she would never violate
- 36:20Speaker 1: the off the record agreement, but insisted that Charles Barkley's
- 36:24Speaker 1: comments had to be exposed. Charles Barkley issued an apology
- 36:28Speaker 1: yesterday through Turn to Sports. My comment was inappropriate and unacceptable.
- 36:32Speaker 1: It was an attempted joke that wasn't funny at all.
- 36:35Speaker 1: There was no excuse for it, and I apologized. Barkley
- 36:38Speaker 1: said in that statement, Wow, there's a lot in there,
- 36:42Speaker 1: because I mean, I get you know, the me too
- 36:46Speaker 1: movement and everything, but sometimes it is just a joke.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I mean, is that wrong for me to say you know,
- 36:53Speaker 1: absolutely naturally, I'm glad you say it. I mean, yeah,
- 36:57Speaker 1: as a woman sometimes, I mean, but it depends ends
- 37:00Speaker 1: on how the woman the recipient feels about it. If
- 37:02Speaker 1: she feels uncomfortable or something like that, then you know,
- 37:06Speaker 1: you can't take Well, I think she accomplished what she
- 37:09Speaker 1: wanted to come. I think it should be reported. Yeah,
- 37:13Speaker 1: it's not any charges. No, he apologized. This story is
- 37:18Speaker 1: you know, because it's on social media. But you know,
- 37:21Speaker 1: he apologized, and he's said some questionable jokes like that before,
- 37:25Speaker 1: and I don't you know, so when she said that, um,
- 37:31Speaker 1: she wanted to bring it. But if she doesn't know
- 37:36Speaker 1: it to know, how many times I've heard that joke, idea,
- 37:42Speaker 1: how many times I've heard that form of that joke.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I don't hit women, but but if I did, I
- 37:50Speaker 1: would hit you right or I wish you could be
- 37:55Speaker 1: a man for just five minutes? Oh okay, oh yeah. Oh.
- 38:00Speaker 1: But but from the woman's perspective, if she doesn't know
- 38:03Speaker 1: it's a joke, you know, and she's feeling some kind
- 38:06Speaker 1: of way, then that that's where the issue comes in. See. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 1: the problem now though Shirley is nobody thinks anything is
- 38:15Speaker 1: funny anymore. Yeah, there are no jokes you can tell anymore.
- 38:20Speaker 1: There's no room for mist I'm about to tell she
- 38:28Speaker 1: didn't accept there. She didn't accept it, she replied to
- 38:32Speaker 1: Barkley's tweet from the Sports Network. She didn't accept his
- 38:35Speaker 1: regret or any attempt to characterize it as a joke. Okay, cool.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So if you don't want to accept the apology, it
- 38:43Speaker 1: what you want the man to do. That's how she
- 38:45Speaker 1: feels about it, and she's, you know, has a right
- 38:47Speaker 1: to her feelings. Coming up at thirty four after the
- 38:49Speaker 1: Hour and trending Sports news question, is it time to
- 38:53Speaker 1: concede that Lebron James is the greatest basketball player ever? Wow,
- 38:57Speaker 1: we'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 39:01Speaker 1: the Steve Show. In trending sports News. Guys, Lebron James
- 39:06Speaker 1: set a record. Congratulations to him as he became the
- 39:10Speaker 1: first player in NBA history to record a triple double
- 39:14Speaker 1: against every single team in the NBA. Yeah, Lebron led
- 39:19Speaker 1: the Lakers to their fifth straight victory, one twelve to
- 39:22Speaker 1: one oh seven over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now, Lebron
- 39:26Speaker 1: is the fifth in NBA history with eighty six triple doubles,
- 39:30Speaker 1: but the four players in front of him, Oscar Robertson,
- 39:33Speaker 1: Russell Westbrook, La Lakers grade, of course, Magic Johnson and
- 39:39Speaker 1: Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd hadn't done it against all
- 39:43Speaker 1: thirty teams in the league. So guys, all right, Tommy Junior, Steve.
- 39:50Speaker 1: With that being said, now the trending question is, is
- 39:54Speaker 1: it now time to concede that Lebron James is the
- 39:58Speaker 1: greatest basketball player of them all? It's Michael Jordan included
- 40:02Speaker 1: in that. Well, I'm the top three. I'm gonna yeah,
- 40:06Speaker 1: he top three. I'm gonna say no, no, use your
- 40:11Speaker 1: top three, I say, Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron. Okay, I
- 40:17Speaker 1: give it that, but that doesn't constitute him being a
- 40:19Speaker 1: great player. He just did a feat against every team
- 40:22Speaker 1: against Sarah, triple doubles against steel that's impressive. Yes, your
- 40:27Speaker 1: top three, and then we'll go to you your top three,
- 40:31Speaker 1: Tommy h I mean, I think we all the Saint Jordan, Lebron.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I gotta say magic. Yeah, I gotta say magic. Come on,
- 40:41Speaker 1: mister Harvey, I think it's Jordan. M h uh, I
- 40:48Speaker 1: think it's Oh, I think it's Jordan. I think it's
- 40:55Speaker 1: uh Lebron, and I think it's Kareem. I'm dude with
- 40:58Speaker 1: your boss. Yes, I just think he revolutionized the game
- 41:03Speaker 1: of basketball. Uh. He had an unstoppable shot, He played
- 41:09Speaker 1: d he got rebounds, and he won championships. And this
- 41:12Speaker 1: dude was an unstoppable force. He was a beast. He
- 41:17Speaker 1: revolutionarized basketball. They stopped dunking in college causing him. I
- 41:23Speaker 1: just think Kam Dude jabbar Man was like the dude
- 41:27Speaker 1: that came along and made the game so different to me.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I mean, now, dude, I think Kobe should be in that. Yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I do. I think Kobe's a bad boy, the black
- 41:38Speaker 1: mumble man. Would he be in your top five? We
- 41:41Speaker 1: just did the top Hell yeah yeah, oh hell yeah
- 41:46Speaker 1: hell Kobe? Hell huh. I was saying, it's a feat
- 41:50Speaker 1: that that Kobe Bryant didn't that Lebron hadn't done. I
- 41:53Speaker 1: mean Kobe dropped eighty in a game. That's from not passing. Yeah,
- 42:05Speaker 1: that's coming over the flow every time and not throwing it.
- 42:09Speaker 1: But's gonna put it out there. Nobody has jumped higher

- 42:32Speaker 1: yay I But okay, So the question is with this
- 42:42Speaker 1: triple double against every team in the league that Lebron
- 42:48Speaker 1: has done this to get he's not the greatest player yet. Huh. Well,
- 42:51Speaker 1: I mean, you know what, the triple double against every team,
- 42:54Speaker 1: that's the great accomplishment. But he does not have more
- 42:57Speaker 1: triple doubles than Russell Rustaur Oh, yeah, that's true. He
- 43:01Speaker 1: don't have more triple doubles than Oscar Robinson. I mean
- 43:04Speaker 1: Russell Westbrook, Man triple doubles. It's been playing less time
- 43:08Speaker 1: than Jordan, I mean, lebronn and you've done it forty
- 43:14Speaker 1: in a row. Man, come on, just dude, yeah, just
- 43:17Speaker 1: do this. That's not to take anything what Lebron is
- 43:21Speaker 1: because he's my dude, man, Lebron. Yeah. And I'm just
- 43:25Speaker 1: telling you, man that Russell Westbrook good lord triple double.

- 53:51Speaker 1: Hold on, take let's go baby. Here it is Strawberry Letter,
- 53:54Speaker 1: all right. Subject my husband is raising my boyfriend's son.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm just going to jump right in
- 54:02Speaker 1: and get to it. I'm married and he's married. We
- 54:04Speaker 1: both have families. I have three kids and he has
- 54:06Speaker 1: four kids. One of my kids is his. Our affair
- 54:09Speaker 1: has been going on for eleven years, and now we
- 54:13Speaker 1: have a two year old son. He left me when
- 54:15Speaker 1: I told him that I was pregnant. We both agreed
- 54:17Speaker 1: for me to terminate the pregnancy, but he refused to
- 54:20Speaker 1: give me the money. So I changed my mind because
- 54:23Speaker 1: deep down I want it another child. I know it's
- 54:27Speaker 1: his son because but he questioned it. I did a
- 54:30Speaker 1: sibling test to confirm that my husband could not be
- 54:33Speaker 1: the father. The two year old looks just like his
- 54:35Speaker 1: real daddy and his real daddy's other kids. I'm writing
- 54:40Speaker 1: this letter because my conscience is eating me alive. Every
- 54:44Speaker 1: time that I look at my son, I know that
- 54:46Speaker 1: I am living alive that could destroy my son's life
- 54:49Speaker 1: and two families. His daddy acts like he does not exist,
- 54:53Speaker 1: and that makes me so angry, and I want to
- 54:56Speaker 1: come clean and get it off my chest. We both
- 54:59Speaker 1: were in this affair, and we both made this child.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I am ready to tell my husband and his wife
- 55:05Speaker 1: about our affair and my son. It has taken me
- 55:08Speaker 1: two years to come to terms with what might happen
- 55:12Speaker 1: when I tell the truth. Am I wrong for wanting
- 55:15Speaker 1: to put an end to these lies? To the lies?
- 55:18Speaker 1: Should I let my husband raise another man's child? I've
- 55:21Speaker 1: been a nervous wreck. Please help me figure this out.
- 55:26Speaker 1: What you asked? Should you let your husband raise another
- 55:32Speaker 1: man's child? But isn't that what you've been doing for
- 55:34Speaker 1: the last couple of years. Your husband has been raising
- 55:38Speaker 1: another man's child. The lies are endless here. You've been
- 55:41Speaker 1: with this man for eleven years. Eleven years you've been
- 55:45Speaker 1: having an affair on your husband and this man on
- 55:50Speaker 1: his wife. He got mad when you got pregnant, refused
- 55:53Speaker 1: to give you the money to terminate it, and deep
- 55:56Speaker 1: down inside you wanted another child anyway, So that's what
- 55:59Speaker 1: you did. And and I mean you just kept the
- 56:02Speaker 1: lie going and going and going and going. Uh, you say,
- 56:07Speaker 1: he questions the fact that it is his son. You
- 56:09Speaker 1: did a sibling test to confirm that your husband is
- 56:13Speaker 1: not the father. I think you're you're wanting to come
- 56:17Speaker 1: clean for all the wrong and most selfish of reasons.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Here you will be destroying everything. You will be destroying
- 56:25Speaker 1: your marriage, his marriage, your kids lives, I mean not
- 56:29Speaker 1: destroying their lives, but I mean, you know, once they
- 56:32Speaker 1: find out this is a lie, this is this is
- 56:35Speaker 1: so many lives are involved in all of this. And
- 56:38Speaker 1: just because you're mad at your baby daddy, I mean, really,
- 56:42Speaker 1: do you realize what you have done with all of
- 56:44Speaker 1: this because you're mad at him, this eleven year affair, everything,
- 56:51Speaker 1: I mean, this is just so wrong on every level. Uh,
- 56:55Speaker 1: you know, I don't know how you're gonna come clean
- 56:58Speaker 1: and tell your husband this and and he stayed there
- 57:01Speaker 1: and forgive you in all of those things. What do
- 57:04Speaker 1: you want to happen? Uh? You just want to end
- 57:07Speaker 1: the lies to get some relief for yourself, But you're
- 57:10Speaker 1: going to destroy all these other people's lives. Uh. You're
- 57:13Speaker 1: not wrong for wanting to put an end to the lies,
- 57:17Speaker 1: but you know who, no one should want to have
- 57:20Speaker 1: to live with these kinds of lies. But doing this,
- 57:23Speaker 1: you're going to destroy so many people and including your
- 57:27Speaker 1: your your your son, once he finds out that the
- 57:30Speaker 1: man he thinks is his dad isn't really his dad.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I mean, the lies are endless here. You've tell one
- 57:35Speaker 1: lie after another after another after another. Uh this you say,
- 57:40Speaker 1: please help you figure this out. This is a hard
- 57:42Speaker 1: one to figure out. And I bet you have been
- 57:45Speaker 1: a nervous wreck. But you you did this, I mean
- 57:48Speaker 1: for eleven years now, for eleven years. I just feel
- 57:54Speaker 1: sorry for your kids, your husband, uh, the wife, and
- 57:58Speaker 1: this two year old son that you have with this man, Steve.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I have a problem here because yesterday I let Tommy
- 58:05Speaker 1: do the letter and Junior begging me, uncle, can I
- 58:09Speaker 1: do a letter now? Junior? This one I think might
- 58:14Speaker 1: be a little heavy for you. Yeah. Yeah, this is
- 58:20Speaker 1: heavy for everybody else. I wouldn't have done this yesterday, Julie,
- 58:25Speaker 1: I don't think because I'm sitting over here like, who
- 58:31Speaker 1: something a little? This is not the one I want
- 58:34Speaker 1: to do one. Alright, let's go all right, man, oh man,
- 58:40Speaker 1: this is a very difficult letter. Yeah it is. I
- 58:43Speaker 1: don't have any jokes for this, so let me just
- 58:45Speaker 1: get to it because I'm let me jump right into it.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Is how she started best start of a letter I've
- 58:52Speaker 1: ever had through. I want him, this lady to know
- 58:56Speaker 1: I really respect her. Just coming clean, let me just
- 59:00Speaker 1: jump right into it. I'm married, he married, we both
- 59:04Speaker 1: got families. I got three kids, he got folk. One
- 59:08Speaker 1: of my kids is his. I'll be there. Our fair
- 59:11Speaker 1: been going on for eleven years, and now you got
- 59:13Speaker 1: two year old son. Then after you told him he
- 59:16Speaker 1: was pregnant, he left you. See, this is where you
- 59:20Speaker 1: start to find out how stank a dude really is.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Not only stank for the eleven year fan. But now
- 59:27Speaker 1: let me explain to you what you was having in
- 59:29Speaker 1: a fan with You was having a fan with a
- 59:32Speaker 1: man who once you told him you was pregnant, he
- 59:35Speaker 1: left you. You have a two year old son. He
- 59:41Speaker 1: left when you told him he was pregnant, and then
- 59:45Speaker 1: both of you agreed to terminate the pregnancy, but he
- 59:50Speaker 1: refused to give me the money. How does that work?
- 59:53Speaker 1: We both agreed to terminate the pregnancy, and then he
- 59:57Speaker 1: refused to give me the money. Well, hold on, Steve,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: hold it right there. Okay, we gotta take a break
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: right here. We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hours, subject my
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: husband is raising my boyfriend's son. Yeah, this is a
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: mess right here. We'll be back at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this you're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject my husband
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: is raising my boyfriend's son. Wow, because this woman is married,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: she's dating a man this married, They got kids. They
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: both have families. She got three kids, he got full
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and one of her kids is he is the fabin
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: going on eleven years. They got a two year old son.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: As soon as she told his married dude who and
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: she's married too, that she was pregnant, he left her.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: But before he left, they both agreed to terminate the pregnancy,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: and then he refused to give me the money. This
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: dude life in on a lot of levels. You do
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: know you are too, but this dude's trifling. This goes
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: to a whole nother level. So I changed my mind
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: because deep down I wanted another child. I know it's
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: his son, but he questions it. Then I did a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: sibling test to confirm that my husband could not be
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: the father. I don't know what that means, sibling tests.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I don't know what that is yet. Yeah, you all
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: look just like his real daddy and his real daddy's
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: other kids. Now you're writing this letter because you say
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: your conscience is eating you a lie. Every time I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: look at my son, I know that I'm living a
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: lie and and that that could destroy my son's life
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: and two families. Then you mad because his daddy act
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: like he does not exist, and that makes me so angry.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: The reason he don't act like he don't exist this
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: because he questioned it any beginning, whether it was his
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: or not. Then he refused to pay the money for
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the terminate the pregnancy, and then he left you when
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: he was pregnant. Why are you angry now? He trifling?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Everything he's done is trifling, and all of a sudden
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: you want him to be what righteous? Here's your problem.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: The man act like he don't exist, and that makes
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: you angry, and I want to come clean and get
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: it off of my chest. We both were in this affair,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: and we both made this child. I am here we go.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Listen to this. I am ready to tell my husband
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: and his wife about our fair. Well, listen to me.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Later you might not be able to tell both people.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: This could end very ugly after you make the announcement
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to one. See if you go over there and tell
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: his wife, she could do something to you. And if
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: you're going there and tell your husband, he might do
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: something to you. So you're in a tough spot. Yeah,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: it's taking you two years to come to terms with
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: what might happen when I tell the truth. Am I
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: wrong for wanting to put an end too the lies?
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Should I let my husband raise another man's child. I've
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: been a nervous wreck. Please help me figure this out. Hell,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: you need this latter boy. We have so many problems
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: here because if you go and tell your husband, this
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: could have end your family. If you tell his wife,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: it could end their family, and then your son is
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: still left with a father who wants nothing to do
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: with him. Go you damn So now if this man
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: wants nothing to do with him and you destroy your family,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: who has a man who's raising this boy in it
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: and the real daddy don't want to have nothing to
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: do with it. But then the ugliness that you got
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: this man raising another man's child the life. That's the
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: quandry you are in. Because I want you to go
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: for the son's sake, be quiet so he can have
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: a father in his life. But then I feel bad
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: because wow, this dude is fitting the bill, thinking he
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: got something that ain't really his. That boy belongs to
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you and another man, and Steve, don't you think the
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: reason she wants to tell him is so wrong too,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: just because he doesn't want to be a part of
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: the kid's life. It's all anger. But she also I
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: truly believe that this woman is torn up on the inside.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Is I truly believe that. And it is a horrible
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: thing to know that this is not this man's boy.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: And you got this man raising him. But if you
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: love the man so much, you was with another man
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: for eleven year eleven years, So I'm trying to figure
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: out how you so concerned with the fact that he
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: raising this boy that's not his when you was passing
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: out your cookie that he thought was his. So you
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: got a problem. Man, just really ain't a joke letter
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: right here. You have a real situation. I think that
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: because it's such a long deceit, this man should take
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: care of his kids, but he don't want to. And
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: then he has a father that thinks he is the
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: father and he's taking care of him. So I hate
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: to ruin the boy's life and he no daddy at all.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Soul you may have to care as latiquely wow, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: because man comes around and goes, I want to take
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: care of myself, but as long as he had denial, man,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I think you should lead it. Leave his dirty ass opening.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: All right. You can post your comments on today's Strawberry
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: demand now coming up at forty six minutes after the hour.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Sex trafficking. We know that it is major in this
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: country and around the world. We're going to delve into
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: that and talk about it when we come back at
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hour right after this. You're listening,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: all right, So this is kind of a heavy subject, guys,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: but it's something that really needs to be talked about
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: because it seems to be going on more and more now.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Talking about sex trafficking. It is a crime when women, men,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: and or children are forcefully involved in commercial sex acts.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: In the US, any minor under the age of eighteen
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: engaged in commercial sex acts is automatically considered a victim
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: of sex trafficking under the law. Worldwide, it's estimated that
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: there are four point five million victims of sex trafficking,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: and that's worldwide. That that's a huge, huge number, huge number. Wow.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I mean it's going on. I've been watching the news
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: and it seems like it's an epidemic over here in
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: the United States. Now it's it's it's an evil time
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: we live in and it's causing everybody's got to get
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: your head on squivel and start paying close attention to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: everything around you. You see these men walking over to you,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: talking to you, and it's see and the conversation is odd.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Something's going It is odd. Don't don't you know it
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: sounds straight. No, it is strange. Yeah, and you should
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: act accordingly. Blow your whistle, walk away, get some distance,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: go well. Um, in Atlanta, there's you know, there's malls.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Uh Uh. Someone posted on Instagram where he was approached
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: at a mall and um, I mean, if you guys,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I mean honestly, I was approached in a store. I
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: was in Marshall's one night and yeah, who would ever
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: think that? Yeah you know, um, yeah, I was approached
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: by by a woman and uh I knew, I knew
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: something was odd. I didn't know exactly that's what it was.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: But after uh, my incident and then the very next
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: it really bothered me and then the very next day
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: this guy posted that he was approached at Lenox Mall.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: So then you know, when you put it together, our
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: very own Monica, missus B Monica was also she was
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: also approached in the Atlanta area. So just let it,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: just let it be a warning. It is serious out here.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Be aware of your surroundings. Like Steve said, you know,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: getting your car, lock your doors. I mean that old adage,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: don't talk to strangers. I mean, seriously, even if you're
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: an adult. So to report human trafficking. Here is the
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: National Human Trafficking Hotline. And again, people, this is very
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: very serious. Text help HLP or info I NFO. They're
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: open twenty four hours, seven days a week. They speak English,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Spanish and two hundred more languages. The number is one
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: eight eight eight three seven three seven eight eight eight.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Please be aware of your surroundings and we'll be right
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to show, all right,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: come on, tell me, let's do this. All right, she
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: is here. It's Carlo fer On with what Reality Update?
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Thank you that few? What's up through us? What you
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: got to say? Steve? You you're ready at the gate?
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: I'm ready. You got an updates, Ricky, Ricky, I'm trying
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: to tell you man. And on the Kardashes, my damn,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Kanye was singing at the Mormon church in Utah Sho
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: and then just blurted out and it ain't nobody posting
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: have more than one wife, just saying it all right, Well,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: thank you for your update. You got Kanye. Kanye just
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: be triming. And just Kanye got through singing that Lakewood
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: down in Houston and told everybody Trump was his daddy
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: right up under the globe. Alright, Well that's your reality
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: update from Steve. I got one for you real quick,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Atlanta. Your girl Ninie is back on
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: the show. Yeah. Now, when we left off last season,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: you know you remember during the reunion show with Nini
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: told Andy Cohen that her marriage to Greg was kind
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: of in a rocket place because she felt alone while
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: being you know, Greg's caretaker while he was battling cancer.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: You know, she had a lot of issues that she
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: was dealing with. Well, this episode, the new episode, we
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: see Nini and Greg. They are still together. Greg is
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: cancer free yea, yea, and Nini is an ambassador for
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: the National Cancer Society. So they were filming a public
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: service announcement and just talking about his journey and what
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: she went through. So that's that. But Nini is still
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: not free ends with anybody on the show except your
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: girl Marlow. They're still cool. Yeah, so now moving on, Shirley,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: is it me or is it kind of awkward watching
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Kenya and her husband Mark? It's beyond awkward. Yeah, it's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: a little something something that Kennedy. Yes, yeah, her husband
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: is well, they are, and it seems like they're separated
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: in real life, but on the show they are still together.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Steve on this new season and Kenya has she's talking
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: to her husband. She feels kind of lonely, and you
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: know that distance doesn't help their marriage because he lives
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: in New York and they fly back and forth and
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: they have this long distance marriage. But Mark is all
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: about the baby. They have this new beautiful daughter, Brooklyn.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: The baby first, she's so cute. But anyway, Kenya feels
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: like she wants them a lone time with him, and
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: he's like, hey, if the baby's now with us, I
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: ain't trying to hear all that she cooked the breakfast.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: He was mad she didn't have eggs. She made them
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: pancakes with bacon, and it just see that she had
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: watching it ain't nothing that woman refrigerator. She ought to quit.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: We got to the starting, he could go out to
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: the start. She got the pancakes and uhh yeah, I mean, yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: you're here. That Shirley you get here just stupid. Don't
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: worry about it, Go ahead, Carl. So anyway, so it's
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: a little awkward, Tommy just I don't know what's going
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: on with them, but there's something there. But his wife, Kenya,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: she's telling her husband that, you know, she's basically lonely.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: She needs some attention from him. So we'll see what
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: happens with that. And then finally Eva and Cynthia, you know,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: they were beefing last season, not at all cool. It's amazing,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: but one season can do. Yes, three months apart back
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: from yeah now we we buddies, they going looking at
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: houses together and everything, and then on the episode later
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: on the episode, Cynthia and Eva they went to New York.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: They were on the float for the World Pride Day Parade,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: and Ninie was there too, and so the show ended
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: with Ninie getting off her float getting on Cynthia's float,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: and then it was done, done Dune. You don't know
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: what Ni said, and that was the end of the episode.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: So I'll tell you next week. You can hit me up,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: hit me up at lips by Carla on social media
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: on the ground, Facebook, and we'll talk about it more.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: We'll be back at twentieth. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Morning Show. Jesse small Lett is suing the city of Chicago.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: We haven't heard from him in a while, so he's
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: coming back with a listen to me washing here free
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: go back down now, So listen to this Steve. He's
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: claiming that officials created a narrative that he was the
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: mastermind of a hoax attack and that has cost him
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: dearly now, according to TMZ. In the lawsuit, Jesse notes
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: that the Assandaro brothers Abel and Ola were held for
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: forty seven hours and they adamantly denied any involvement in
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the assault. Jesse says it was only it was only
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: after they were assured they get immunity that they started
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: spinning the tale of a fake attack on the streets
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: of Chicago. Jesse insists the primary attacker was a white male.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: He says, to this day he doesn't know what involvement,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: if any, the Usandaro brothers had in the attack. He
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: thinks the brothers were lured into the smear campaign by
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: the cops. Jesse is suing the City of Chicago. He's
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: suing the Ussandaro brothers and several officials, including a recently
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: retired police superintendent Eddie Johnson. Wow, I don't know why
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: this boy won't go somewhere and just sit your ass down.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: You see, don't do this. You free Joe away. You
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: think this k' sue the city? City ain't got no money.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming

- 1:17:04Speaker 1: know where to get a Christmas tree from. No, he
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: was asking me he was doing a church Christmas playing.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Do you think Tommy would be in it? Said, you
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: got time, You could have asked him what he wanted
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: to run it by me and see if he'd be offended.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I said, I don't. Why would it be offended. Tommy's
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: an actor, Why why would it be I know? But
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: you know he wanted him to play the head elf
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: in the workshop. I'm not no elf, y'all. Y'all gonna
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: quit this with this elf stuff. I'm not no elf.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: He didn't say you was an elf. He wanted you
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: to play elf, and everybody called you no elf. I
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: just said he was gonna make you the head elf.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: But what is he if? I'm the head? If? What
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: is he? Well, because you are a little taller than him,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: So he was gonna make you the head. Everybody gonna
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: look up to you. What role is kirk? Kirk and
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: kirker elf two? We both else. No, he wasn't. He
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: wasn't gonna be the He was gonna be us Santa
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Claus's son. Let me get to this Julia Roberts story. Please,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: from music to movie news. Uh, Julia Roberts is Harriet Tobman.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Can you see that? No? Yeah, a lot of people.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: A lot of people can't. Uh. That's um what one
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Hollywood executive reportedly suggested. That's according to Gregory Alan Howard,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: who wrote the screenplay to Eric Harriet. He says the
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: film has been in development for twenty six years. Guys.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: He wanted to turn The Underground Railroad Conductor's Life into
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: an action adventure film, but the climate and Hollywood was
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: different at that time, and that's when the Exact floated
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: the idea of Julia Roberts. When questioned about it, Howard says,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: the Exact offered, Yeah, it was long ago. No one
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: is going to know the difference. Woe. That's okay. You
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: can act, but you have to draw some thing else
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to play that role. I would think, let me tell
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: you think you have to have something to draw. Go ahead,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Julia donna need Harriet to come save her ass. If
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: she played every role and get her to Freed, I
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: don't think she would have played it. No, I don't
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: even think would I don't think this is anything that
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Julia Roberts would have even considered. Yeah, that's Why'm with
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: you on that, Steve. Yeah, and I like Julia Roberts.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: And listen. If you haven't seen the movie Harriet, please
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: over the holidays when you get a chance, please go
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to who thinks Harriet is a tall, slim white woman?
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Come right, all right, coming up, we will have our
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: last break of the day, and of course some closing
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at forty
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: nine minutes after right after this, you're listening all right,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day. It's
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: been a good Thursday. Huh good day? Yeah, yeah day, Yeah,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: good day. And the only thing that will make it
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: better is you, Steve Harvey, with some closing remarks. What
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: do you have for us today? Well, you know, I
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: kind of wanted to share something with you all that
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: I was doing my meditation I was reading this morning,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: and it hit me because I've often said, you know,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: after show or something, I was just you know, sometimes
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: I just try to say something positive people. And one
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: time I was talking after the show and I told people,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I said, you know, there's a scripture that quotes something
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: to this effect that God comes to give you life
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: and give you life more abundantly. And so I said,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: that's what began. The process of me asking for my
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: abundance was because of this scripture. And I just don't
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: think this is just my walk with him that as
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: a Christian or believe or person or faith that you
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: should have to struggle through everything. You're going to have challenges,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: You're going to have struggles, but in every aspect of
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: your life. I mean, come on, something has to change
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: for you. And so in the scripture was saying that
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: He comes to give you life and give you life
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: more abundantly. I always thought that the abundance that he
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: was talking about was material things of financial blessings, you know,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: things of that nature. But I've learned recently through my
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: studies that having that He comes to give you abundant
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: life does not just mean things. It means peace of mind,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: It means awareness of all His goodness. It means not
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: worrying about tomorrow or having regrets about the past, which
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: issues out a lot of a lot of wasted energy.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: It means things like that that He's present in your life,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: that you are aware of all the good things that
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: your eyes are open to all he's done for you.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: And the big part of it is that he gives
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: you your daily bread, that today is a very very
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: special day and because it's unlike any other day you've
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: ever had, and He's given you a new day. So
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: when it comes to talking about an abundant life, I
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: had to stop thinking that it was just talking about
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: things or money and objects, innate objects, that really he's
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: talking about an abundant life through having a peace of
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: mind to having a realization that you have a companion
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: who is not only your friend, but he's also your king,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: you know, your sovereign lord. That's what he means by
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: abundant life. That you come to the realization that you're
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: not alone in this matter. You come to the understanding
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: that you have a very present if you just invited
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: me in, that can help you deal, cope, handle and
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: understand anything that happens in your life. That's what I
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: came to the conclusion that having a life at having
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: life more abundantly stood for. And once I came to
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: this realization, it opened up a whole nother way of
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: thinking for me, because it's just an amazing thing when
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you understand that you can have or say so in
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: today and all you have to do is worry about today.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I mean, concern yourself with today's matters, and don't worry
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: about tomorrow, and don't show no regrets for the past.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: And you can have a life of abundance because you
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: will now be living in the moment, in the presence,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: and you'll have His presence because you invited to me
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: and even closer. That's what I learned about the abundant life,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: that it doesn't just mean monetary or physical things, that
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: it actually means pace of mind, presence, a very present
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: help in the time of trouble, a relationship, someone who
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: gets it, who's always there. That's what that means. And
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: that's what I wanted you all to think about today.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: So when you ask God to give you life, and
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: he promised to give you life and give it to
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: you more abundantly, think about what the whole abundant thing
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: is really about. I wasted a lot of time thinking
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: it was just a reference to finances or money or
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: you know, it's not. It's so much more. And today
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I had an abundant life because today I didn't worry
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: about tomorrow and today, because that's burning yourself with something
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you can't do nothing about. And I didn't have no
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: regrets for my former life, Tada. I had an abundant
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: day today, and it caused me to realize, really, man,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: you bless you got an abundant life. That's what I
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: wanted to share with you. Those my closing remarks. Again,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: I got a little time on the back end, but
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: that's what I really I just wanted to share that
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: with You'll thank you for that. Yeah, it's great because
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: when you do. When I first heard it, I thought
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: the same thing too. I really did. Ye. I was
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: convinced at what it was. But I was doing my
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: meditation this morning and I was reading this section that
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: explains a lot of stuff, and I said, wait a minute, man, No,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: the abundant life is He gives you peace of mind
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: for today. He gives you awareness of His presence for today,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: and therefore it gives you a total and then it
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: causes you to be grateful for what you have today,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: and it opens up your eyes to everything that's happening
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: in your room right now, because by worrying, Uh, I
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: watch this Shelley Luke twelve and twenty five by Waring
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Luke twelve and twenty five. By worrying you cannot add
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: one hour, so by not being able to do that? Yes, better?
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: All right to be with Kanye and the man. Go ahead.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: I don't know about I love it. Hey. You know what?
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: How much height do you get with a thirteen thousand
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: dollars tree? High? Big? Is that? Oh twas well, you
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: gotta have, you gotta have really tall? Sal take us out,
