- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time, y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bus things and it's not
- 0:19Speaker 1: doing me through good Steve to mother for ste don't
- 0:39Speaker 1: join Jo. You gotta use that turn out. You gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out, got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water. Come, come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your bah I show will good marded everybody you're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, come on dig me now, one and all.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well all right,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I've learned something and it sharing time. And I am
- 2:23Speaker 1: ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for all that he
- 2:27Speaker 1: allows me to learn in my life. One of the
- 2:32Speaker 1: best lessons I've learned is that hardship teaches you some
- 2:39Speaker 1: great lessons. Challenges brings about some of my best results.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think what I'm trying to say is in every
- 2:51Speaker 1: challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned something so so valuable.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So here's what I've You know, I've known this, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've just learned it at a different angle. Appreciation and
- 3:09Speaker 1: gratitude is the key to having more Now I don't
- 3:16Speaker 1: know how that sound to you, but I can't tell
- 3:21Speaker 1: you how true it is. God being fair and just
- 3:25Speaker 1: as he really is. He really is. He's a fair
- 3:28Speaker 1: and a just God. What's most beneficial to us is
- 3:32Speaker 1: he happens to be full of mercy and grace. And
- 3:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from his
- 3:46Speaker 1: grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 3:57Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm not hearing this position today. I'm
- 4:05Speaker 1: just not. But a funny thing has happened along the way,
- 4:10Speaker 1: even to you. If you look at it, is it
- 4:14Speaker 1: your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to
- 4:19Speaker 1: you having more for your continued blessings and for making
- 4:24Speaker 1: room for having to open up and pour out blessings
- 4:28Speaker 1: that you don't have room enough to receive. If you
- 4:31Speaker 1: look at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:35Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:41Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:45Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here, you've made it.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You don't forget how rough it was got that, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through, and
- 4:56Speaker 1: it hid made you feel you made it. Now, what
- 5:03Speaker 1: makes people give up and you hear about people committing suicide,
- 5:06Speaker 1: is they leave the God out of their life and
- 5:10Speaker 1: they start allowing that other voice to control. And if
- 5:13Speaker 1: it's really true that God never puts more on you
- 5:16Speaker 1: than you can bear, as long as you stay connected
- 5:19Speaker 1: to God, you can get through anything. But you lose
- 5:23Speaker 1: that connection, you lose that communication, you lose that relationship
- 5:29Speaker 1: with him. If you're not having a relationship with God,
- 5:33Speaker 1: then who you're having a relationship with now? And it
- 5:38Speaker 1: ain't but two forces at work at all time. It's
- 5:42Speaker 1: good and evil, it's positive and negative. It's God's satan. Now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:55Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 5:59Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 6:03Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:18Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts the more on
- 6:22Speaker 1: you than you can bear. Okay, now that we got
- 6:24Speaker 1: that clear, that's a fact. Okay. Now with that fact
- 6:27Speaker 1: in mind, let's go over this right here. Why would God,
- 6:30Speaker 1: being as just and merciful as he is, put more
- 6:35Speaker 1: on you than you can bear? Example, if God has
- 6:39Speaker 1: given you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:48Speaker 1: would he give you some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:00Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:03Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:05Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:08Speaker 1: wondering at all, like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:11Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:14Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:18Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude, because it's the key to
- 7:21Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:25Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaving opening up and pouring
- 7:28Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 7:37Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:41Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:45Speaker 1: you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:51Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum? I mean, I'm just
- 7:55Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:59Speaker 1: I can keep understanding this thing right here. So let
- 8:02Speaker 1: me give you an example. In my life, I had
- 8:05Speaker 1: gotten so busy at one point that I had began
- 8:10Speaker 1: to complain about how busy I was. This is true
- 8:15Speaker 1: because I am busy, but it ain't the busy part
- 8:20Speaker 1: because I asked to be busy. You know, I asked
- 8:23Speaker 1: God to give me opportunities and to make a way
- 8:27Speaker 1: for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:33Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:44Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:48Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down. And then I
- 8:50Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:53Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:57Speaker 1: this busy, embrace the fact to what all comes along
- 9:01Speaker 1: with it. Because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You got to start embracing the requirement part if you
- 9:08Speaker 1: want to continue with the giving part. So I changed
- 9:12Speaker 1: my attitude. I caught myself and I started thinking him
- 9:15Speaker 1: and showing real gratitude for how busy I was, instead
- 9:18Speaker 1: of complaining about how busy I was. And then guess what,
- 9:21Speaker 1: It opened up the windows of heaven and some more
- 9:23Speaker 1: blessings got poured out. It just works that way all
- 9:26Speaker 1: the time, for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:35Speaker 1: key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:38Speaker 1: key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude it's
- 9:43Speaker 1: the only way that you can get those windows of
- 9:46Speaker 1: heaven to open up and pour out these blessings that
- 9:48Speaker 1: you won't have room enough to receive. You gotta act
- 9:51Speaker 1: like you're glad for what you got in order to
- 9:53Speaker 1: get more. You feel me, Let's go, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Good morning, boys and girls. Man have your attention, please,

- 21:47Speaker 1: She says, I'm a fifty two year old woman and
- 21:50Speaker 1: I'm in a situation with one of my dad's cousins.
- 21:53Speaker 1: My dad has called this man his cousin all my life,
- 21:57Speaker 1: but it's one of those distant down the line cousins
- 22:01Speaker 1: that's neither here nor there. Because he and my dad
- 22:04Speaker 1: are close. His cousin is a handyman, and he came
- 22:07Speaker 1: to fix my washing machine three months ago and stayed
- 22:09Speaker 1: for dinner, drinks, and sex. I really put it on him,
- 22:14Speaker 1: and now he wants to be with me, and he
- 22:16Speaker 1: doesn't care what my dad thinks. He said at sixty one,
- 22:21Speaker 1: he's finally found love and he's not letting me go.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Should he tell my dad or should I? Well? No,
- 22:28Speaker 1: first of all, let's talk about because I ain't done
- 22:32Speaker 1: this in a while, so excuse me for having this
- 22:35Speaker 1: rich boy moment. But you say he came by the
- 22:37Speaker 1: house to fix your washing machine? Is the maytag man?
- 22:43Speaker 1: Still he's working making house calls. I didn't even know that.
- 22:49Speaker 1: And is it a maytag? She didn't say the brand
- 22:56Speaker 1: y'all came by fixed the washing machine, had dinner, drink,
- 23:03Speaker 1: and some sex. You put it on a real good
- 23:06Speaker 1: your daddy's cousin. And now wait a minute, now down
- 23:11Speaker 1: the line, distant cousin. No, no, no, no, I don't
- 23:14Speaker 1: give a damn what you're saying. You're gonna have to
- 23:17Speaker 1: tell no. She said, that's neither here nor there, but
- 23:21Speaker 1: that's gonna be right here when you're going there, And
- 23:24Speaker 1: tell your daddy. Now, it's her daddy's friend right now.
- 23:30Speaker 1: She fifty one, her daddy probably in his seventies. Now,
- 23:35Speaker 1: this little cousin, boy, it's like me and nephew Tommy,
- 23:39Speaker 1: ten year difference. Little cousin Barden came over and tapped
- 23:43Speaker 1: his daughter. It's gonna be a situation in hire, lady,
- 23:50Speaker 1: it's gonna be a situation in him. Well, the cousin said,
- 23:54Speaker 1: he's finally found love. Don't forget this fellow, and he's
- 23:57Speaker 1: not letting her go okay, and he doesn't care what
- 24:00Speaker 1: her dad thinks. Going into ain't no yea dinner dreams don't. Yeah.
- 24:15Speaker 1: All right, let's move on Alexi and Detroit, because that
- 24:20Speaker 1: relationship is gonna be what it is. Alexeie and Detroit.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Steve says, I'm a twenty eight year old female and
- 24:26Speaker 1: I met a thirty two year old man at my
- 24:28Speaker 1: new church for our first and only date. I met
- 24:31Speaker 1: him at a dance studio because he's into ballroom dancing.
- 24:35Speaker 1: He had on a full leotard and he flowed effortlessly
- 24:39Speaker 1: around the dance floor with his lips pursed and his
- 24:43Speaker 1: toes pointed. I wasn't as good as him, so he
- 24:46Speaker 1: grabbed a mail partner and kept dancing as I watched.
- 24:50Speaker 1: That date was so different, and I was turned off.
- 24:54Speaker 1: He asked me for a second date. Should I ask
- 24:57Speaker 1: him if he's heterosexual before the next date? Cel Oh,
- 25:04Speaker 1: I don't cloth, Come on, Cloth want to be involved
- 25:09Speaker 1: in this type of question. Due to the climate we're
- 25:12Speaker 1: end these dates, so I have to be very careful
- 25:16Speaker 1: how I answer this. So just let me go over
- 25:20Speaker 1: what you said. Okay, if you're on a date with
- 25:23Speaker 1: a man whose lips is perched and they have on
- 25:28Speaker 1: full leotade, and when you ain't dancing as flowing and
- 25:35Speaker 1: flee freely in your toes don't point as good as
- 25:39Speaker 1: his point and he grabs a man to finish dan,
- 25:47Speaker 1: should you go on another day? I ain't got to
- 25:50Speaker 1: ask him nothing about sexuality. I don't know. I'm not
- 25:56Speaker 1: gonna say that and get in no damn trouble. But
- 26:00Speaker 1: you got on the four leatar set. You can point
- 26:05Speaker 1: your toes better than she can't. Dancer. Yeah that ball
- 26:12Speaker 1: room That ain't that. I thought it was ballroom too,
- 26:14Speaker 1: Tommy to point ain't in ballroom dancing. But leotards ain't
- 26:21Speaker 1: in ball Hello that you did that yourself if you're
- 26:24Speaker 1: in the dance studio, No not, But that's acceptable dance
- 26:30Speaker 1: tu though, Yeah, that's ballroom dancing. Yeah, but every week
- 26:37Speaker 1: though we ain't see I ain't seen nobody. Nelly didn't
- 26:40Speaker 1: have on foo leotard. But he's not a professional star.
- 26:46Speaker 1: He's the star on Dancing with the Star. Yeah, I
- 26:49Speaker 1: think you're looking at this a different way. See, we're
- 26:53Speaker 1: looking at it through a leotard. Just ain't way you
- 26:55Speaker 1: gave it to look to the level. The leotard is
- 27:00Speaker 1: acceptable for a man or a woman if you're a dancer.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Though plenty of my junior was saying, Steve. But just
- 27:07Speaker 1: like Junior, listen, dancing with the stars, when they dance,
- 27:13Speaker 1: they do different types of dancing because they're professional dancing.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So you just never know what dance. Wait a minute,
- 27:22Speaker 1: hold on, hold on just to see say that k
- 27:34Speaker 1: see how many more? Me? And he grabbed and finish
- 27:36Speaker 1: up the dance with all right, we're moving on, Edgar.
- 27:42Speaker 1: She said, I'm an older gentleman and I've been in
- 27:45Speaker 1: a relationship for eleven years. Would you pay attention with
- 27:48Speaker 1: a beautiful, feisty woman. I wanted to marry be quite junior.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I wanted to marry her years ago, but she doesn't
- 27:55Speaker 1: believe in marriage. She's cheated on me twice years ago.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I forgave her, but I didn't forget. I think she's
- 28:00Speaker 1: interested in someone new again because she's been talking about
- 28:03Speaker 1: getting a breathlift and eyelift and boatox. I'm more laid back,
- 28:07Speaker 1: but she loves to run the streets and travel. Will
- 28:09Speaker 1: she ever settled down? Or do you think she's up
- 28:12Speaker 1: to something? I don't know, dude, but I'm telling you,
- 28:15Speaker 1: if you can't get where you want to go with him,
- 28:17Speaker 1: if you go down to this dance studio, it's a
- 28:19Speaker 1: dude down there with some Leo tizzo with some pointed toes,
- 28:24Speaker 1: and when when when the right he snatched me in
- 28:27Speaker 1: up and go dancing and you might have your problem solved.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Thank you. See l O, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 51:41Speaker 1: Let me explain something to a lot of people. Use
- 51:43Speaker 1: the right side of the right. Yeah, I use the
- 51:46Speaker 1: majority of the time, okay, And that's where all the
- 51:49Speaker 1: creative stuff is on the left. And a lot of
- 51:51Speaker 1: people don't know that. A lot of people don't know
- 51:53Speaker 1: how to go there and use that side. Some people
- 51:56Speaker 1: are just stuck on the right. Then, you know, I'm
- 51:58Speaker 1: just happening to be blessed like that. Well, thank you
- 52:02Speaker 1: for breaking that down in your brain to the left. Okay.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Let's everything he does is in his brain to the left,

- 52:45Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 52:48Speaker 1: gonna read this one right here, right now. Let's go.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Let's buckle up and hold on tight. We got it
- 52:54Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 52:58Speaker 1: The subject her old man is taking care of my family.
- 53:01Speaker 1: I jumped ahead of myself, excited to get into this one.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I have two children with my high
- 53:08Speaker 1: school sweetheart. We both come from seriously dysfunctional families and
- 53:13Speaker 1: we were all each other had. Shortly after we graduated,
- 53:18Speaker 1: I got incarcerated for eighteen months on a drug possession charge.
- 53:22Speaker 1: During this time, my kid's mother met an older guy
- 53:26Speaker 1: and he began to take care of her and my kids.
- 53:29Speaker 1: He bought her a new car and moved her and
- 53:32Speaker 1: the kids into an upscale apartment. I'm not a fool,
- 53:36Speaker 1: so I know there was give and take in this situation,
- 53:39Speaker 1: but I was locked up, so what could I say.
- 53:42Speaker 1: I've been out of jail for about nine months, and
- 53:44Speaker 1: he has continued to cover all of my family's expenses.
- 53:48Speaker 1: I talked to my girl about the older guy, and
- 53:50Speaker 1: she says she has no problem with me staying with
- 53:52Speaker 1: her and getting my life back on track. But here's
- 53:57Speaker 1: a big problem. I can't take the disappearance of my
- 54:01Speaker 1: girl once or twice a week. I know where she's going,
- 54:06Speaker 1: but we never talk about it, and feel I feel
- 54:09Speaker 1: more and more emasculated each time she disappears. I have
- 54:13Speaker 1: a decent job, but it's not the type of job
- 54:16Speaker 1: that will keep her in the lifestyle she's accustomed to.
- 54:19Speaker 1: The only way I know how to do that would
- 54:21Speaker 1: be to go back to doing what got me sent
- 54:24Speaker 1: to jail years ago. My girl told me that she
- 54:27Speaker 1: hopes I can step up to the plate and take
- 54:29Speaker 1: care of my family, so she can let the guy
- 54:31Speaker 1: go and we can be a family again. I appreciate
- 54:34Speaker 1: this guy for holding it down while I was gone,
- 54:37Speaker 1: but she needs to let him go now and adjust
- 54:39Speaker 1: her lifestyle a little bit, but a little bit. I
- 54:44Speaker 1: have thought about leaving while I still have some pride
- 54:47Speaker 1: and dignity, but I couldn't stand leaving my children again.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Is it too much to ask for her to move
- 54:53Speaker 1: to a less expensive apartment so that we can build
- 54:55Speaker 1: a new life together. She says she loves me more
- 54:58Speaker 1: than anything, But I'm not so sure. What should I do?
- 55:00Speaker 1: Please advise, Well, if she loved you more than anything,
- 55:05Speaker 1: it seems like she would be with you, and she
- 55:07Speaker 1: would have already left this older guy. And if you
- 55:11Speaker 1: love her like you say you do, you have to
- 55:13Speaker 1: take that chance. You got to take that risk and
- 55:17Speaker 1: ask her, you know, what does she want to do?
- 55:19Speaker 1: Or will she come back to you and move to
- 55:22Speaker 1: a lesser lifestyle. You know, sometimes when you get introduced
- 55:26Speaker 1: to two different things and newer things, you get accustomed
- 55:30Speaker 1: to it and you don't want to leave that situation.
- 55:33Speaker 1: But you know you can take the risk and ask her, please,
- 55:36Speaker 1: don't go back to doing what you used to do
- 55:38Speaker 1: to make money. You already know the end of that movie. Okay,
- 55:42Speaker 1: you know that drugs is not the way to go.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I do hope you get yourself together. I really do.
- 55:48Speaker 1: You sound like a decent guy. You know. However, you're
- 55:52Speaker 1: moving in with her knowing the circumstances. You know, is
- 55:57Speaker 1: there a time limit? Are you have you made a plan?
- 56:00Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna stay with you for a couple
- 56:02Speaker 1: of months until I get myself together. Then I'm gonna
- 56:04Speaker 1: get my own and I want you and the kids
- 56:06Speaker 1: to come back to me. That seems how it should
- 56:09Speaker 1: work out, you know, and then you won't have to
- 56:11Speaker 1: sit there and watch her go back and forth to
- 56:13Speaker 1: this man and all of that. So that's my advice
- 56:17Speaker 1: to you. Save your money, get yourself together, get out
- 56:20Speaker 1: of there with her where you can see what's going on,
- 56:23Speaker 1: and ask her if she wants to come back. Do
- 56:25Speaker 1: you really still want her back? If you love her,
- 56:27Speaker 1: then that's what you're gonna have to do. I don't
- 56:30Speaker 1: think you should, uh, you know, leave your kids and
- 56:32Speaker 1: all of that, but get your own stuff, your own
- 56:35Speaker 1: self stuff, and you know, get your own house so
- 56:39Speaker 1: you can be with her and be with your family
- 56:41Speaker 1: if that's still what she wants to do. But even
- 56:43Speaker 1: if she doesn't come with you, you'll have your own
- 56:46Speaker 1: place where your kids can come. Steve, this is a
- 56:49Speaker 1: pretty sad letter. Because this is a young brother had
- 56:51Speaker 1: wrote this letter. And you know, I could have a
- 56:54Speaker 1: ton of jokes for this, but let me try to
- 56:57Speaker 1: help you a little soldier. Try to just give you
- 57:01Speaker 1: what I think. You got two kids, which is your
- 57:07Speaker 1: ultimate responsibility, which your high school sweetheart. You both came
- 57:13Speaker 1: from seriously dysfunctional families, you say, And so that's pretty
- 57:19Speaker 1: much explains what we're gonna hear in this letter. You say,
- 57:24Speaker 1: shortly after y'all graduated, you got incarcerated for eighteen months
- 57:28Speaker 1: for drug possession. Then while you await your baby, mama
- 57:34Speaker 1: met an older man and he began taking care of
- 57:38Speaker 1: her and my kids, well the kids he hern the
- 57:43Speaker 1: kids that put y'all in the upscale apartment. You know.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Then you say, I ain't no food, So I know
- 57:49Speaker 1: there was some giving taking this situation, but I was
- 57:53Speaker 1: locked up, So what could I say. Now, you've been
- 57:56Speaker 1: out of jail now for nine months, and he has
- 57:59Speaker 1: continued to come all of my family's expenses. You just
- 58:03Speaker 1: said a little bit earlier, you know that from giving
- 58:06Speaker 1: taking this relationship, he's continuing to take care of all
- 58:10Speaker 1: your family's expenses. I talked to him a girl about
- 58:13Speaker 1: the older guy She says, she ain't got no problem
- 58:17Speaker 1: with me staying with her getting my life back on track,
- 58:20Speaker 1: which is exactly what she didn't had to tell this
- 58:22Speaker 1: man that my baby's father got out of jail and
- 58:25Speaker 1: I need to help him so he can get his
- 58:27Speaker 1: life on track. Not an older guy. Young man then
- 58:31Speaker 1: went along with this because she got to come over
- 58:35Speaker 1: there a couple of times a week, and that's all
- 58:39Speaker 1: it was. And so they had a little arrangement going.
- 58:42Speaker 1: So as long as she's keep coming over two times
- 58:45Speaker 1: a week, this ain't gonna be no problem for her,
- 58:48Speaker 1: I mean for him. So you talk to my girl.
- 58:50Speaker 1: She said, she ain't got a problem with you staying
- 58:52Speaker 1: with her. But here's the big problem. I can't take
- 58:56Speaker 1: the disappearance of my girl once or twice a week.
- 58:59Speaker 1: I know she's going, but we never talk about it,
- 59:02Speaker 1: and I feel more and more masculated each time she disappears.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Yes you do, and yes you should, and we come back.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what I think. All right, We're
- 59:11Speaker 1: gonna have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:14Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. Subject of today's Strawberry letter,
- 59:18Speaker 1: her old man is taking care of my family. We'll
- 59:22Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 59:27Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. This subject her
- 59:31Speaker 1: old man is taking care of my family. Here's a
- 59:35Speaker 1: deal without the jokes. Here's a young man that was
- 59:38Speaker 1: high school sweetheart to have two kids. Sorely after they graduated,
- 59:42Speaker 1: he got arrested on drug possession. He served eighteen months.
- 59:46Speaker 1: While he was away, his girl started dating this older man.
- 59:49Speaker 1: He moved her and them two kids into an upscale apartment,
- 59:54Speaker 1: and when he got out, he wanted to get his
- 59:56Speaker 1: life back together, so he thinking he had something. She's
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: that I don't mind you stand here while you get
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: your life together, sounding me like, you know, get yourself
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: together and then get your stuff and get out. I
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: don't know. I'm just saying, she don't mind you coming
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: overutil you get your life together. But you know there's
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: a give and take. This man paying all these bills,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: taking care of these kids. She disappears twice a week. Now.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: When she disappears, young man just throws you into something,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and you say, you feel more and more emasculated. Now
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: that's a pretty good word for somebody that's been locked
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: up for eighteen months. So you've obviously taken some time
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: and you're pretty articularly god where you even put this
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: letter together. So I got a decent job, but it's
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: not the type that will keep her in the lifestyle.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: She's accustomed to that. The only way that you know
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: how to do that, you say, is go back to
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: the thing that got you locked up. Okay, now, let's
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: be for real now, partner being locked up, there's nothing
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: in your house worth getting locked up for or less
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: somebody try to do bodily harm to your wife and kids.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: This ain't your wife, and these are your kids. Now,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: if you protect your kids life, that's one thing. But
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you want to buy some stuff, So you're gonna go
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: back in prison cause of that? Oh no, sir, Oh no, sir,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: oh no, oh no, We're not gonna do that no more.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: You know, sometimes when you get when you get locked up,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: sometimes when you lose stuff like your freedom or everything
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you own, sometimes it's God trying to get our attention,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: to let us see something, and you might be getting
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the attention of what you see. Maybe your girl is
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: a little bit tricky. Now, look, she disappeared twice a week,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: but then you know she told you that she hope
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you can step up to the plate and take care
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: of my family, so she can let the guy go.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: What so, in other words, until you can prove to
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: be more, she ain't letting this other guy go. Hold up, man,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: what kind of chick is this? Now? And we can
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: be a family again. Whoa wait a minute. But until then,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep sleeping with this dude over here. You
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: don't need to say nothing, because he taking care of
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: business that you couldn't. Now you said I appreciated this
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: guy for holding it down while I was gone. Now
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you didn't stop saying that you didn't. That's a nice
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: manly thing to say, But you didn't appreciate that because
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: you wish you was here doing it yourself. That he
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: got a little bit more money than you. Now your
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: family over there, and now you say you appreciate him
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: holding it down. But she needs to let him go
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: now and adjust her lifestyle a little bit. I have
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: thought about leaving, you know, while I still have some
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: pride and dignity, but I couldn't stand leaving my children again.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: It's too much to ask of her to move. Is
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: it too much to ask her to lose a Spencer
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: apartment so we could build a new life together. She
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: said she loves me more than anything. Well, you can
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: find that out. All you got to do is say, baby,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I got the money for a lesser apartment. I want
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: my family together. I don't want you to have to
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: try to service this debt with this older guy. I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: don't want you to have to pay for your rent
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: with your body. So I think we all to just
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I got us a place we can all be in here.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: It's gonna be a little bit tight, and you find
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: out right away if she loves you or she loved
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: the arrangement she got. Does she love you or she
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: loved lifestyle she got? And I ain't really saying nothing
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: bad against this little girl. She got put in a
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: tough position when you got sent away for eighteen months.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: But now you're back and you want some things to
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: go back to where they were, But sometimes they're not
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: meant to go back to where they were, young man,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: And that's oftentimes what we have to learn in life.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: The things we want may not be what's in the
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: plan and the master plane. So you gotta kind of
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: be open to that because maybe you're finding out some things.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: If it ain't this dude right here partner. It could
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: be somebody else. Now, I'm not gonna do what women
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: do is say that wants a cheat always and cheat.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say that. I'm saying, but you got
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: to least find out if she's willing to cut some
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: of this goal, if she loves you more than anything
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: and want y'all to work together as a family, or
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: she gonna keep service in this debt because that's what
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: she doing, and that puts you to the bad position.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: You dog gonna write it to masculate you. Every time
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: you look out the door, you know your girl going
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: somewhere twice a week, staying out all times a night,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: and you're at the house these kids. You know where
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: she at, but y'all don't say nothing about it. So
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I don't want you to get frustrated and then wind
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: up doing something stupid. So before you do that, I
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: know you think if you walk away that it's just
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: gonna push your into his arms. But she's already in
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: his arms, so you're really not pushing her nowhere. You're
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: just moving out so you can get yourself together, And
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I think you need to focus on that. Keep taking
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: care of your kids. Don't never stop taking care of
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: your children. That's our responsibility as men. Whether we're in
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: love with the girl or not anymore, has nothing to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: do without responsibility as men and fathers. You have a
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: main obligation to take care of your children, and if
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you do that, then you're being a man. There's nothing
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: that says you have to stay with her. Try to
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: work through it and work it out. If you don't
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: want to, you don't have to, but you do have
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: to take care of them kids. That's not an option
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: or an excuse. So take care of kids and then
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: ask her if she ready to make this thing a family.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: You know, everybody make mistakes, and give her a chance
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: to let you know where she stands on that's my suggestions.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: That's right. You can post your comments on Today's Strawberry
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: demand you're listening to. All right, So here's the question,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: the office topic of the day. What have you given
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: up for love? What pretend to ask these questions? And
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: no jobs? Why you got is this hard question y'all
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: gonna answer for that hall for me. We're asking you, guys,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: love I ain't. I ain't gave up nothing I lost.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: It's a difference. I didn't give up nothing. I lost
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: what was tooking away from you for love? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: most everything I've ever done for love? What I lost?
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I lost my So what did y'all wanted to go?
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I lost my ability thank for my damn self. I
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: lost my ability to eat what I want to eat,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: where I want it. I lost my ability to all
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: who the hell I want to come? Man? I lost
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: lost your freedom. I gave a lost freedom, my ability
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: to have multiple people's phone. No, but I lost my
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: ability to lay my phone around. I lost But you're
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: not bitter about it, because you certainly don't sound like that. Well,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: now it's a different love I have. But in the
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: past those loves were lost. I lost the fact of
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: being right. I ain't been righting thirteen years. You were
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: being right? Oh right? Oh no, we had to get
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: that up immediately. So you gave you gave up that? Okay, Tommy, Tommy,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: what have you given up? I don't Well, I'm stop
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: doing what I would do? What it was? What is wrong?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: What what you Yes, you're supposed to stop what you're
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: doing for love, Tommy, Yes, you are gave a reasoning.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I reason, I just I reason. I'm just saying what
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: I'm supposed to give up, not think what I gave up.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: I want to hear what you gave me. Yes, Ja,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: damn man gave it up, pulling up knowing that in
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: that damn door, piece of mind is gone. A minute
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: from in our house, it's starts piece of damn All right,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: coming up more of today's trending stories on the Steve
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening, all right, So guys, here's
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: a question for you. Do you have a hiding place
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: in your home to just have a few minutes alone?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: You know? I mean everybody should have someplace, some little
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: getaway place that they can have some me time. For instance,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: some women like to have what they call a she
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: shed or a small room that they can read in
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: or just chill in. I you know what, I love
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: the bathroom. Men usually go into the garage or their
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: man cave or the basement or someplace. Uh. Do you
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: take an extended break in your home hiding place? Do
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: you do it every day? Is the question? Or does
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: your family know not to disturb you when you're in
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: your favorite room or you're hiding place. Come on, Steve,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: I know you take time for yourself. Yeah. I always
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: done that. Yeah, I go, I go to San Diego.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: You lead a house, Yeah, get the hell out. Can't
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: follow me down there. Damn. Grandkids know how to use
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: the elevating everything. I'll be Damn, I'm going in to
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: San Diego. It's beautiful there. I don't care if it is.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: They not there, clearly you got one. Yeah, I love.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I will be in my bathroom for our words, ours
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: in the bathroom, in the bath because I have a
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: TV in there, and you know I do my makeup,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I don't mean the water. No no, no,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: I don't say spend most of my time in the bathroom.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: No no, no, not there. I just out. Yeah, that
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: separate with the ban. I got my TV right in
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: front of the toilet and a computer. Now that's how
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you go from Now, that's how you don't miss nothing.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: When I'm watching the game, I just get um going
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: in the bathroom. It's on the wall right in front
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: of you. Yeah, I ain't done that up a little
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: high where you can keep your head up. You don't
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: want to look either keep your head or be digestive.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Track is more open slight. What about you tell me
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: I'm in my theater. I can get away from the theater.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Did you hear that, rich ass? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, you
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: said a rich ass statement that I ain't saying that.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: You said, my kids on my grand babies on the elevator.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: I ain't saying nothing about your elevating in your house.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Ain't even pay that. I know you say I was going.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: I ain't gonna go ahead, teeth you rosa. I thought
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I had it limited. Okay, all right, well passed his
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: elevator on my theater. Hey, Julie, which one of your
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: rooms in your house is your theater? Yeah, let's hear
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: from the poet a theater. What I had to do
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: is take some some drapes and put them on the
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: side of the TV. Make my ass to the with them.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna make a theater. Hold on, y'all, come out
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the kitchen. Drapes gonna catch you. I'm gonna make a
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: thill that boy, Paul, be nice. I ain't been here.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I go to my theater. That nothing. I can't say nothing.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: How many seats in the theater. I'm not telling so
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: many can't find him in there. Shut up, Steve, go
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: down front. If down now, I'm gonna take my hand
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: down and ain't look in the back and see you
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: ask me where I go to get away? That's all
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I said. Man, Well the Lord is still blessing, bless you. Man,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I didn't even know I'm s if you're talking to
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you like you have one? I got changed. I talk
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to you. How are you talking to him? At first?

- 1:15:03Speaker 1: into a place that you may have never gone before,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: a place that gets dark, a place that has corners
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: and crevices and places where people really should not belong.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: We are going deep into the mind of j Anthony Brown.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: A nice Time for Murders the Hits. Now, this segment
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: is called Murders the Hits. Okay, do not compare it
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: to the original hit, because this is being murdered. Listen
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: to the message. That's what this is about. Getting you
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: all know me because of even tching hell shooting the
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: White House. Time is more over holding shoot, go, don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: jail you donna leave the sign that the fog reading
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: ta need the bad what they're gonna in the gain.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: They ain't a new that team. I'm gonna get into try.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: I don't wanna die. I'm gonna stand in. Shoot me
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: in my behind, I'm not gonna let it pass, shoot
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: me in mind. I don't know what to say. I'm
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: gonna try anywhere. I'm just not go I'm going to
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: do that new I got on them drums for you

- 1:17:34Speaker 1: brothers vaccine. So we're doing we're doing new. I was
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: gonna do me when I was trying to sing that.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Damn Jay, I gotta ask you the same question I
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: asked the nephew. How do you come on with the stuff?
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: And the brilliance of the show is on the side
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: of the room. Okay, just that this show is on
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: this side. If you want to be bread, come on
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: over here in the time we gotta go, coming up
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: our last break of the day. We'll be back at
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour right after this. You're listening,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Here we are last break of the day.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Time for your closing remarks. Surely sent me something and
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: it got me to thinking, I'm gonna share with you
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: what she sent me, but I'm gonna paraphrase it, so
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: it's more of how I talk, because sometimes I get
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: a little stumbled up and it doesn't sound like me
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: if I try to share directly with somebody what somebody
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: sent me. So I just want to talk to you
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: about it. I want to just talk to you about
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: this life of abundance that we are all qualified for.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about the life of
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: abundance that God really wants all of us to enjoy.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: If you're a righteous person, God will give you a
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: life of abundance. I didn't say if you a saved person,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: if you are a member of this denomination, if you
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: go to this church, if this is your pastor if
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: this is your faith. I'm telling you that God has
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: a life of abundance for you if you put your
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: trust and your faith in Him. I'm just telling you,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: and you have to understand that God has equipped you
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: to have this life of abundance. All of you have
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: a gift that was given to you by God at birth.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Everyone has one. Now you may not know what it is,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: but you have it. But because you've been so bent,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: so determined to do something to please somebody else. Your
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: mother wants you to go to school and get a
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: degree in this. Well, I told him I was gonna
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: come down here and get a degree in that. So
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: now I'm gonna get a degree in that where my
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: father went to the army, So I'm going to the army.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: You know, it's nothing wrong with the army. It's nothing
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: wrong with going to the army. But if that ain't
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: really what you were created for, you find to waste
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: a lot of time. Man, you really really are because
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: God really did equipped you for a life of abundance.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: When he created you, he had a mission in mind
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: for you, had a mission in mind for me. He
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: gave you a gift. Your gift is a thing that
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: you do the absolute best with the least amount of effort.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: If you identify that gift, that's your greatest chance. Now
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: here's a deal. When He prepared you for this life
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: of abundance, and he gave you everything you needed to
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: put on every day and go out and make your
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: dreams and your life come true. If you put if
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you become passionate about your gift, you can be on
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: your way to making your life happening and your dreams
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: come true. He gives you everything you need to wear
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: to go out and fight it. But what we do
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: is we suit up, we suit up, and we settle in. Well,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I got this job now, well out of our four
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: years away from getting this another degree, I might as
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: well go here. Well I got a promotion, now I
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: might as well stay on here, well out of star
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: ray start invested in my four one K. So you
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: suit up, but you settle in, and then you know
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: what you do. What we often do, and I did
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: it myself for a while, we resign ourselves to living
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: a mediocre life because we won't suit up and go
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: out here and do what God wants us to do.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: So here's what I'm saying to you. If God didn't
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: gave off you all the Scooba gear equipment you need,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: he then gave you the air tanks, the mask, the flippers,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: the nozzles, the hoses or as supply, don't put all
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: this stuff up on and then head to the bathtub.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: What you're doing, you're settling in. Head out to the ocean.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Get out in that ocean of opportunity. Get out there
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: where in some of that deep water. Go out there
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: where God has equipped you to go who He then
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: suited you up. He gave you everything you need. But
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: we want to go get in the bathtub where it's safe. Look, man,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: all of you have the gear to win, the gear
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: to have an abundant life, the gear to be prosperous,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: the gear to be happy. You have the gear you
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: about to get out. You got to get out that
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: bad half tub and go out there in that ocean,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: out in that deep water. Because out in the ocean,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: it's the opportunity. Ain't no opportunities in the bathtub. You
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: got to go out there in that ocean of opportunity
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: and experience all the God got for you. Some of it.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: You gonna get tested. You're gonna feel like you're going down.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: You're gonna get a sinking feeling. But you're gonna be fine.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: You know why, because you got to give. You have
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: what it takes you got to give. It's up to
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you to jump in. If you don't ever jump in
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: the ocean, you ain't gonna really know if you can
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: handle deep water or not. I got you scared of
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: the deep water. I got sometime that deep water. Look
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: rough out there. I know you've seen some purpose people
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: try to acquire fame and prosperity and happiness and go
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: out on their own. And I know you've seen them
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: out there sinking in the water. Look rough. So now
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: you want to stay over here in the bathtub. Ain't
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: no opportunities in the bathtub. All your opportunities out there
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: in the ocean. There's just some sharks out there, yeah,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: some bard coot out there. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, some
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: whales out there. Yeah yeah. All that's out there. But
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: what's to say you won't be one? Get out the
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: bathtub with all this geared God and gave you, and
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: jump in that ocean out there and swim like you're
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: supposed to swim around. You're gonna get the life of
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: your dreams, the life of abundance. That's all I got
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: to say. Thank you very much. Hope you got it.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: Drop the dog, drop it. Yeah you still got it?
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: Thank you? Yeah one of them, No, man, I ain't
