Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Judge Harboring a Gang Member, Trump Smacks down ABC News & DOGE finds Institute of Peace NOT so Peaceful Week In Review
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Center Ted Cruz week in Review,
- 0:04Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson with you, and here are the big stories
- 0:07Speaker 2: that you may have missed that we talked about this week.
- 0:09Speaker 2: First up, a New Mexico judge now behind bars for
- 0:14Speaker 2: housing an illegal gang member and the AG is not
- 0:18Speaker 2: backing down on activist judges either. I'll have that for
- 0:21Speaker 2: you in just a second. Also, Donald Trump ross ABC
- 0:25Speaker 2: News in a one hundred day interview in the Oval
- 0:28Speaker 2: office and what he had to say, it went viral,
- 0:31Speaker 2: and we'll play it for you as well. And finally,
- 0:33Speaker 2: DOGE and the Institute for Peace, well they're exposing they
- 0:37Speaker 2: weren't actually very peaceful. Is they were giving money to
- 0:41Speaker 2: former terrorist members. It's the weekend review and it starts
- 0:45Speaker 2: right now. So when you combine this and this these
- 0:49Speaker 2: types of arrests, there is no inclination here that this
- 0:54Speaker 2: is preemptively a idea or a mindset by the DOJ
- 0:59Speaker 2: or anybody else. This is reactionary to these activist judges,
- 1:03Speaker 2: and that's something that the media is also distorting.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Well it is, and I will say, look, there's another
- 1:10Speaker 1: story out of New Mexico, which is former Donya Anna
- 1:14Speaker 1: County Magistrate Judge Joel Kano sixty seven his wife, Nancy
- 1:20Speaker 1: Conos sixty eight are in custody right now. They were
- 1:24Speaker 1: arrested by Homeland Security at their La Cruze Las Cruces home.
- 1:29Speaker 1: They were arrested for harboring a gang member, a trender
- 1:35Speaker 1: Aragua gang member in their home. And this trend to
- 1:40Speaker 1: Iragua gang member. He's covered in gang tattoos, tattoos, and
- 1:46Speaker 1: the judge faces charges of tampering with evidence. Now you
- 1:51Speaker 1: know what he did? What was that he took this
- 1:56Speaker 1: Venezuelan gang member's cell phone, smashed it with a hammer
- 2:01Speaker 1: because it had incriminating evidence of the gang member with firearms.
- 2:06Speaker 1: And then he went and disposed of of the of
- 2:09Speaker 1: the cell phone. So who's trying to hide evidence? Now?
- 2:12Speaker 1: Do you know one of the pictures that was on
- 2:15Speaker 1: the cell phone allegedly that the judge destroyed with a hammer.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna guess it's probably one of those good old
- 2:22Speaker 2: gang sign pictures, right, because that's always what the gang
- 2:25Speaker 2: members have on their phone.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Now it's worse than that. It's a picture of two
- 2:30Speaker 1: victims who are decapitated. We're not talking nice, fuzzy friendly
- 2:36Speaker 1: gang members. We're not talking as the media loves to
- 2:39Speaker 1: call call the illegal immigrant up in Maryland a quote
- 2:43Speaker 1: Maryland band. This is a gang member who allegedly had
- 2:47Speaker 1: pictures of two people with their heads cut off on
- 2:50Speaker 1: the cell phone. And what does a Democrat judge do
- 2:53Speaker 1: in New Mexico, Well, you got a gang member. He says, Hey,
- 2:56Speaker 1: let me hide you in my house and here give
- 2:59Speaker 1: me that phone because they could use that to prosecute you.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I'm going to smash it with a hammer and dispose
- 3:05Speaker 1: of it so they don't have the evidence to convict you.
- 3:07Speaker 1: That is bizarre, and that is a Democrat judge.
- 3:13Speaker 2: The Attorney General, by the way, she came out strong
- 3:16Speaker 2: and said we're not backing down when we see this
- 3:19Speaker 2: type of activism. Here's part of what she had to
- 3:22Speaker 2: say on Fox.
- 3:23Speaker 3: And to set the stage for you and Sandra, this
- 3:26Speaker 3: was truly horrific. This guy was in court being prosecuted
- 3:30Speaker 3: by a state prosecutor for domestic violence battery. He had
- 3:34Speaker 3: beat up two people, a guy and a girl. Beat
- 3:38Speaker 3: the guy, hit guy thirty times, knocked him to the ground,
- 3:41Speaker 3: choked him, beat up a woman so badly they both
- 3:44Speaker 3: had to go to the hospital. And John. You know,
- 3:46Speaker 3: it's so rare for victims to want to cooperate. They
- 3:48Speaker 3: wanted to cooperate. They were sitting in the courtroom with
- 3:52Speaker 3: the state prosecutor. The judge learns that Ice was outside
- 3:56Speaker 3: to get the guy because he had been deported in
- 3:58Speaker 3: twenty thirteen, came back in our country, commits these crimes,
- 4:01Speaker 3: charged with committing these crimes, victims in court. Judge finds out.
- 4:05Speaker 3: She goes out in the hallway, screams at the immigration officers.
- 4:09Speaker 3: She's furious, visibly shaken, upset, sends them off to talk
- 4:13Speaker 3: to the chief judge. She comes back in the courtroom
- 4:16Speaker 3: here going to believe this, takes the defendant and the
- 4:19Speaker 3: defense attorney back in her chambers, takes them out of
- 4:22Speaker 3: private exit and tells them to leave. While a state
- 4:25Speaker 3: prosecutor and victims of domestic violence are sitting in the courtroom.
- 4:31Speaker 2: You hear her explaining this, and you got to think
- 4:35Speaker 2: the majority of Americans, if they know that story, they're
- 4:38Speaker 2: going to be outraged, just as outrage as she is.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's exactly right. And I want to play
- 4:43Speaker 1: a second clip from Pambondi where she's talking about the
- 4:46Speaker 1: new Mexico judge, because this is not a crazy outlier. Unfortunately,
- 4:51Speaker 1: this is a pattern. Listen to the Attorney General talking
- 4:54Speaker 1: about this new Mexico judge harboring a trender Ragua gang
- 4:57Speaker 1: member in his home.
- 4:58Speaker 4: I mean, when you look at the associations with this
- 5:03Speaker 4: Violet Venezuelan gang Trende Arragua and this person that they
- 5:07Speaker 4: harbored in their home, he was showing signs through clothing,
- 5:11Speaker 4: We're told, tattoos. There was evidence through voice messages and
- 5:16Speaker 4: text messages of his association to TDA. So what charges
- 5:20Speaker 4: will Cano and his wife face if any?
- 5:24Speaker 3: So, Judge Cano seemed to be former Judge Cano got,
- 5:29Speaker 3: he got. His charges were just unsealed. He's charged with obstruction.
- 5:33Speaker 3: He is charged. He admitted posts Miranda, he took one
- 5:36Speaker 3: of the TDA members cell phones himself, took it, beat
- 5:41Speaker 3: it with a hammer, destroyed it, and then walked to
- 5:43Speaker 3: the pieces to a city dumpster to dispose of it
- 5:46Speaker 3: to protect him. The wife also is charged with destroying evidence, Sandra.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Not only that this TDA member and he had on
- 5:55Speaker 3: a necklace that said kill, something about death. He had
- 5:58Speaker 3: tattoos all over him. He also had on his cell
- 6:02Speaker 3: phone pictures of two decapitated victims, two victims, decapitated, gruesome photos,
- 6:10Speaker 3: and he was sending them out, and whoever he was
- 6:13Speaker 3: sending them to was sending back saying, Hey, you need
- 6:15Speaker 3: to be careful. You shouldn't be sending these You shouldn't
- 6:18Speaker 3: be texting these photos out. Not only that, these two
- 6:21Speaker 3: the judge and his wife gave him assault rifles that
- 6:24Speaker 3: belonged to their daughter. That's what they're charged with in
- 6:28Speaker 3: the criminal report. Effi, David. He goes to a shooting
- 6:31Speaker 3: range with these assault rifles with a suppressor, with other
- 6:35Speaker 3: known TDA members and they're shooting. This is the last
- 6:38Speaker 3: person that we want in our country, nor will we
- 6:41Speaker 3: ever tolerate a judge or anyone else harboring them lit.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I'm just so glad we have an attorney general. You're
- 6:48Speaker 2: good friends of Pam. We've had her on the show
- 6:51Speaker 2: that is able to articulate this the way that she
- 6:54Speaker 2: is to continue to combat the lies they're being put
- 6:57Speaker 2: out there about who is actually getting arrested, who were targeting,
- 7:01Speaker 2: and who we're trying to get out of the country.
- 7:04Speaker 1: No, that's exactly right, and it's the simple principle that
- 7:08Speaker 1: no one is above the law. Here's what Cash Betel,
- 7:11Speaker 1: the head of the FBI, to tweet it out. Quote
- 7:14Speaker 1: just now, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
- 7:19Speaker 1: on charges of obstruction after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing
- 7:23Speaker 1: an immigration arrest operation last week. We believe Judge Dugan
- 7:27Speaker 1: intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be
- 7:30Speaker 1: arrested in her courthouse Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject,
- 7:34Speaker 1: an illegal alien, to evade arrest. Thankfully, our agents chase
- 7:38Speaker 1: down the purp on foot and he's been in custody since.
- 7:42Speaker 1: But the judge's obstruction created increased danger to the public.
- 7:45Speaker 1: We will have more to share soon. Excellent work. And
- 7:49Speaker 1: then the Attorney General Pambondi, she tweeted, I can confirm
- 7:52Speaker 1: that our FBI agents just arrested Hanna Dugan, a county
- 7:55Speaker 1: judge in Milwaukee, for allegedly helping an illegal alien avoid
- 7:59Speaker 1: arrest by ice. No one is above the law. Somehow,
- 8:04Speaker 1: Democrats believe that if they don't like a law, they
- 8:08Speaker 1: can just ignore it. They can defy it, by the way,
- 8:11Speaker 1: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did that for four years,
- 8:14Speaker 1: they just utterly ignored federal immigration law. And unfortunately this
- 8:19Speaker 1: attitude of lawlessness, we're not bound by the law. Not
- 8:23Speaker 1: only that, we're going to actively fight federal law enforcement.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Who is trying to enforce the law, And what are
- 8:30Speaker 1: they doing this for. I mean, Ben seriously explained to me,
- 8:35Speaker 1: help me get in the head of let's say this,
- 8:38Speaker 1: New Mexico judge, New Mexico Judge, you and your wife say, hey,
- 8:42Speaker 1: we got some gang members from Venezuela. They're covered in tattoos,
- 8:46Speaker 1: They've got a necklace that says kill. They have cell
- 8:52Speaker 1: phones with pictures of people with their heads cut off.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Let's bring them to my house. Like, how explain to
- 9:01Speaker 1: me that thought process. My brain is not nimble enough
- 9:04Speaker 1: to get around this.
- 9:04Speaker 2: See this is where I think to myself. I'm like,
- 9:06Speaker 2: all right, well, then there's got to be some sort
- 9:08Speaker 2: of incentive that is connecting them. There's got to be
- 9:11Speaker 2: something to gain here personally, because I can't just imagine
- 9:15Speaker 2: this judge is just like, yeah, we genuinely want to
- 9:17Speaker 2: hang out with people that are celebrating or involved in
- 9:20Speaker 2: this type of criminal activity, including as you described it, beheadings.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah, look, you and I watch breaking bad. I don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: know if this is a judge that's on the take,
- 9:32Speaker 1: if there's corruption, if he's been paid by the gang.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I don't know if he's ideological and stupid or corrupt
- 9:40Speaker 1: or what. There's clearly more to this story we will learn,
- 9:44Speaker 1: but the facts on the face of it are astonishing.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And what's amazing, I don't know of a single Democrat
- 9:52Speaker 1: elected official who's denounced this conduct by the judges. Instead,
- 9:56Speaker 1: what they're saying is they're rushing to defend these judges
- 10:01Speaker 1: that are brazenly, brazenly defying the law.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 10:07Speaker 2: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 10:09Speaker 2: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Here's something else that President Trump said at the rally
- 10:16Speaker 1: where he actually reprised my favorite line from his State
- 10:21Speaker 1: of the Union address this year, where he talked about
- 10:25Speaker 1: how Joe Biden had said just one year earlier that
- 10:28Speaker 1: he the only way to secure the border is if
- 10:30Speaker 1: Congress passed new legislation. Give a listen to what President
- 10:33Speaker 1: Trump said.
- 10:34Speaker 5: For years, Joe Biden and the media told us that
- 10:38Speaker 5: stopping the flood of illegal immigration was absolutely impossible. He
- 10:43Speaker 5: said it was impossible. He didn't know what the hell
- 10:45Speaker 5: anybody was talking about. He said it was impossible. That
- 10:50Speaker 5: the president had no power to stop what was needed
- 10:54Speaker 5: in the form of legislation. He needed legislation, he had.
- 10:59Speaker 1: No power to get.
- 11:00Speaker 5: But it turned out that all we needed was a
- 11:02Speaker 5: new president.
- 11:05Speaker 2: He's right, all we need was a new president. And
- 11:07Speaker 2: they said that wouldn't even get it done. Well, guess what,
- 11:10Speaker 2: not only did you get it done, but even the
- 11:11Speaker 2: mainstream media now Senator is forced to report on just
- 11:16Speaker 2: how big of a victory this is for Trump at
- 11:18Speaker 2: the border. ABC News they put it this way in
- 11:23Speaker 2: their own interview with the President.
- 11:25Speaker 6: Here in the Oval office. It's special. One hundred days
- 11:29Speaker 6: into your second term. So what's the one thing, just
- 11:33Speaker 6: one thing that you think is the most significant thing
- 11:37Speaker 6: you've done so far in these hundred days.
- 11:40Speaker 7: Well, I think maybe the border is the most significant
- 11:43Speaker 7: because our country was.
- 11:44Speaker 6: Really going bad.
- 11:45Speaker 7: They were allowing people to come in from prisons, as
- 11:48Speaker 7: you know, and you've heard me say it, but you've
- 11:50Speaker 7: heard a lot of people say it. Prisons, mental institutions,
- 11:53Speaker 7: gang members, murderers, We had many murders, eleven eight hundred
- 11:58Speaker 7: and eighty eight. They think some murdered more than one person.
- 12:02Speaker 7: So yet murderers coming in. You had everybody coming in,
- 12:05Speaker 7: and not just South America, from all over the world
- 12:07Speaker 7: that were emptying their prisons into our country. And now
- 12:11Speaker 7: it's totally closed down. And you've seen just yesterday they
- 12:15Speaker 7: announced ninety nine point nine percent. Nobody thought that could happen.
- 12:19Speaker 7: Then it happened quickly, very quickly, and I think that's
- 12:21Speaker 7: very significant. But we're doing other things that are very significant.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Results will take a little bit longer because it's one
- 12:28Speaker 7: of those you know, it's complicated. It's many years of
- 12:32Speaker 7: trading abuse. We've been abused by other countries for years
- 12:35Speaker 7: and years. They laughed at us, they thought we were
- 12:38Speaker 7: stupid people. And we're fixing it. And I think that's
- 12:42Speaker 7: going to be very very important.
- 12:44Speaker 6: But I have a lot of ground to cover.
- 12:45Speaker 7: Yeah, I would really say that that the border is
- 12:48Speaker 7: so important, you know, just we'll get there.
- 12:50Speaker 6: The immigration is huge, and we're going to get there,
- 12:52Speaker 6: but I want to start.
- 12:54Speaker 2: You hear him say the southern border is totally closed
- 12:57Speaker 2: down ninety nine point nine percent. I'll be honest, I
- 13:00Speaker 2: don't even think Americans that voted for Donald Trump, that
- 13:03Speaker 2: believed in him, thought he could get this done this
- 13:05Speaker 2: quick with those types of numbers.
- 13:07Speaker 1: The numbers are staggering. He said, nobody believed we could
- 13:10Speaker 1: get there. I actually think that's wrong. I think Donald
- 13:12Speaker 1: Trump believed he could get there. He knew he could
- 13:14Speaker 1: get there. And I'll tell you, you and I we both
- 13:16Speaker 1: predicted it that we would see the numbers absolutely plummet.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Although it's a fair point, we said absolutely plummet. I
- 13:23Speaker 1: don't think I said ninety nine point nine percent. I
- 13:26Speaker 1: might have thought it'd be ninety percent or ninety five percent,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but ninety nine point nine is. To be honest, Trump
- 13:33Speaker 1: might even be surprised. It's that high. It's staggering, and
- 13:37Speaker 1: and it's an example of a commander in chief who's
- 13:40Speaker 1: actually following the law.
- 13:41Speaker 7: You know.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I got to say that ABC interview was really striking
- 13:44Speaker 1: that there's a great exchange where the ABC reporter comes
- 13:50Speaker 1: after him and Trump just just body slams him. Here here,
- 13:55Speaker 1: give a listen.
- 13:56Speaker 6: Do you think the reputation in the United States has
- 13:59Speaker 6: gone down under your presence?
- 14:01Speaker 7: No, I think it's gone way up. And I think
- 14:03Speaker 7: we're respected country again. We were left at all over
- 14:06Speaker 7: the world. We had a president that couldn't walk up
- 14:09Speaker 7: a flight of stairs, couldn't walk down a flight of stairs,
- 14:12Speaker 7: couldn't walk across the stage without falling. We had a
- 14:15Speaker 7: president that was grossly incompetent.
- 14:17Speaker 8: You knew it.
- 14:18Speaker 7: I knew it, and everybody knew it, but you guys
- 14:20Speaker 7: didn't want to write it because you're fake news.
- 14:22Speaker 6: All right, thank you.
- 14:23Speaker 7: By the way, ABC is one of the worst.
- 14:25Speaker 9: I have to be honest, Okay, thank you.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I'm sorry that that's just amazing. He's looking at the
- 14:31Speaker 2: main guy. He's like roasting them to their faces. He's like,
- 14:33Speaker 2: by the way, ABC, yeah, you're you guys, by the way,
- 14:36Speaker 2: one of the worst. He's like, thank you, we're going
- 14:37Speaker 2: to wrap now.
- 14:38Speaker 1: He's thank you. Think and you actually have to watch
- 14:41Speaker 1: it watching the and I will say, one of the
- 14:43Speaker 1: things Trump doesn't get nearly enough credit for it is
- 14:46Speaker 1: how damn funny he is where he's like, look, it's
- 14:50Speaker 1: one thing if he could just say, look, Joe Biden
- 14:52Speaker 1: wasn't competent.
- 14:53Speaker 7: But he's like, he.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Couldn't walk up the stairs, he couldn't walk down the stairs.
- 14:56Speaker 1: He falled, like you couldn't walk in the room like
- 14:58Speaker 1: it's just it is funny, but it's true, and he's right.
- 15:02Speaker 1: He's like, you knew it, I knew it, Everyone knew it,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and yet you were lying about it, and nobody in
- 15:08Speaker 1: the media. Have you seen a single maya culpa from
- 15:11Speaker 1: anyone in the media saying we knew Joe Biden wasn't
- 15:15Speaker 1: mentally incompetent and we deliberately lied to the American people
- 15:18Speaker 1: about it. Nobody's done that.
- 15:20Speaker 2: No, no one has it all. One other thing I
- 15:23Speaker 2: do have to say about all of this one hundred
- 15:26Speaker 2: days is the speed at which this administration is working
- 15:31Speaker 2: and how well this team is working in the White
- 15:33Speaker 2: House is really impressive. You and I have been over
- 15:36Speaker 2: there with Doge when we were interviewing Eglon Musk. I've
- 15:38Speaker 2: been back last week as well to the White House.
- 15:41Speaker 2: This team around him is just incredible compared to what
- 15:45Speaker 2: he had in twenty sixteen, and I think that's part
- 15:48Speaker 2: of the reason why he's getting so much done. Would
- 15:50Speaker 2: you agree with that.
- 15:50Speaker 7: But fully agree.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I think the cabinet is much stronger than the twenty
- 15:54Speaker 1: sixteen or the twenty seventeen cabinet. I think in the
- 15:58Speaker 1: first term, he made some appointment that frankly did not
- 16:01Speaker 1: serve him well. He put people in place who disagreed
- 16:04Speaker 1: with him, who undermined him. And I think this second term,
- 16:07Speaker 1: I think he learned. I think he learned during the
- 16:10Speaker 1: four years of his first term as president. I think
- 16:13Speaker 1: he learned during the four years he was out of office.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I think he had a lot of time to think
- 16:16Speaker 1: about if and when he came back, what he would do.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And I think he put in place change agents. And
- 16:24Speaker 1: you know, there's another exchange in that ABC News interview
- 16:27Speaker 1: that I really like, where ABC News is defending illeal
- 16:33Speaker 1: immigration and the open borders under the Democrats, and he
- 16:36Speaker 1: just utterly calls them out here, give and listen to
- 16:38Speaker 1: that you're talking about.
- 16:39Speaker 7: You know, you're making this person sound This is a
- 16:42Speaker 7: MS thirteen gang member, a tough cookie, been in lots
- 16:46Speaker 7: of skirmishes, beat the hell out of his wife, and
- 16:49Speaker 7: the wife was petrified to even talk about him. Okay,
- 16:52Speaker 7: this is not an innocent, wonderful gentleman from Man.
- 16:55Speaker 6: I'm not saying he's a good guy. It's about the
- 16:57Speaker 6: rule of law. The order from the Supreme Court stamp
- 17:00Speaker 6: into our country illegally you could.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I mean, I love it. He's not going to back down.
- 17:05Speaker 2: He's not afraid of the guys in the press at all.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And the Democrats, you want to talk about stepping into
- 17:11Speaker 1: their trap. The Democrats have happily embraced we, the Democrat Party,
- 17:17Speaker 1: are the party of illegal immigrants. We are the party
- 17:20Speaker 1: of gang members. We are you know are pod two
- 17:23Speaker 1: days ago if you didn't listen to it. Really is astonishing.
- 17:26Speaker 1: They're two different Democrat judges in jail right now for
- 17:30Speaker 1: obstructing justice, for blocking federal law enforcement for arresting illegal immigrants,
- 17:37Speaker 1: and one of the two at a judge from New Mexico,
- 17:42Speaker 1: is charged with sheltering a trend de Aragua Venezuelan gang
- 17:46Speaker 1: member in his home and destroying evidence. It's really shocking.
- 17:51Speaker 1: So this gang member had a cell phone, and this
- 17:54Speaker 1: Democrat judge took the cell phone, smashed it with a hammer,
- 17:57Speaker 1: went and threw the cell phone away in a dumpster,
- 18:00Speaker 1: all in an effort to cover up the evidence of
- 18:03Speaker 1: this gang member's criminality. And one of the astonishing things
- 18:06Speaker 1: that the Department of Justice has told us is that
- 18:09Speaker 1: cell phone that the Democrat judge destroyed had pictures of
- 18:14Speaker 1: two people who had been decapitated, two victims presumably of
- 18:18Speaker 1: gang violence who had their heads cut off, and ben like, like,
- 18:23Speaker 1: what does it say that today's Democrat party what they're
- 18:26Speaker 1: about is there for venezuela and gang members who cut
- 18:29Speaker 1: people's heads off. Literally, I don't know how you could
- 18:34Speaker 1: be in a more radical position than where they are
- 18:36Speaker 1: right now as before.
- 18:38Speaker 2: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation
- 18:40Speaker 2: on this topic, you can go back and dow the
- 18:42Speaker 2: podcast from earlier this week to hear the entire thing.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I want to get back to the big story number
- 18:49Speaker 2: three of the week you may have missed center. I
- 18:52Speaker 2: want to talk about what we just found out with
- 18:55Speaker 2: DOGE and and I think it's an important point to
- 18:58Speaker 2: reset because we saw a lot of oppress about DOAGE
- 19:01Speaker 2: early on. We've now moved on to other topics, or
- 19:04Speaker 2: I should say the media has moved on to other topics.
- 19:06Speaker 2: It does not mean that Elon Musk and the DOGE
- 19:09Speaker 2: staff have stopped doing their job. In fact, they are
- 19:13Speaker 2: still finding incredible amounts of waste, fraud and abuse. And
- 19:18Speaker 2: they sat down with Jesse Waters at Fox to kind
- 19:21Speaker 2: of give an update of like, hey, here we are
- 19:23Speaker 2: It was also a very cool interview because what we're
- 19:26Speaker 2: witnessing is Elon Musk showing these do gooders that he
- 19:31Speaker 2: has brought in they can be making a lot more
- 19:33Speaker 2: money in the private sector. There are a lot of young,
- 19:36Speaker 2: brilliant minds that are finding all of this information and
- 19:40Speaker 2: digging and digging in our government, and he's letting them
- 19:43Speaker 2: tell the stories of what they're finding. I love this
- 19:45Speaker 2: management style from him.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Well, I got to say, every week they're new bombshells
- 19:50Speaker 1: that are coming out from doze of just astonishing waste,
- 19:54Speaker 1: fraud and abuse. And so this latest interview that the
- 19:57Speaker 1: Elon did with Jesse Waters, he laid out, for example,
- 20:02Speaker 1: that the Institute of Peace had a one hundred and
- 20:06Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars contract with a former member of the Taliban.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Now now just let that sink in.
- 20:14Speaker 10: For a minute.
- 20:15Speaker 1: One hundred and thirty grand to a former member of
- 20:18Speaker 1: the Taliban, and that is from the quote Institute of Peace.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Nothing like paying a terrorist if you're the Institute of Peace.
- 20:28Speaker 1: And by the way, that same institute a piece deleted
- 20:32Speaker 1: one terabyte of accounting records when DOGE entered their headquarters.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So they came in I got to tell you. If
- 20:40Speaker 1: you're prosecuting criminal conduct at a court of law and
- 20:44Speaker 1: a defendant destroys evidence, deletes data on their computer, burns papers,
- 20:51Speaker 1: burns receipts, burns photographs, that can be taken as evidence
- 20:56Speaker 1: of guilt the fact that you are deleting evidence. But
- 20:59Speaker 1: here give a listen to the description of what they
- 21:01Speaker 1: found about from the Institute a piece.
- 21:04Speaker 9: Yeah, so it was by far the least peaceful agency
- 21:07Speaker 9: that we've worked with. Ironically, of course, Additionally, we found
- 21:10Speaker 9: that they were spending money on things like private jets,
- 21:13Speaker 9: and they even had a one hundred and thirty thousand
- 21:15Speaker 9: dollars contract with a former member of the Taliban.
- 21:17Speaker 11: This is real. We don't encounter that at most agencies.
- 21:21Speaker 12: What was the money going to the Taliban for?
- 21:25Speaker 11: So it was a contractor.
- 21:26Speaker 9: They received one hundred and thirty thousand dollars for generic services,
- 21:29Speaker 9: And to Elon's point, there was not actually a clear
- 21:31Speaker 9: description of what the contractor services were for.
- 21:33Speaker 11: But was it for opium unclear? Or weapons? Yeah? Or
- 21:41Speaker 11: nothing for a broad or yeah?
- 21:44Speaker 9: And you naturally have to ask the question how did
- 21:46Speaker 9: we get here? Like when the country was founded, there
- 21:47Speaker 9: were only four agencies. Today there are over four hundred,
- 21:51Speaker 9: so there's been a one hundred xc increase in the
- 21:53Speaker 9: number of agencies since the.
- 21:54Speaker 11: Foundering of the nation.
- 21:55Speaker 9: And thanks to President Trump, he's now signed to executive
- 21:58Speaker 9: orders to start to reduce the number of Asians season
- 22:00Speaker 9: the government and the Institute Apiece was one of them,
- 22:01Speaker 9: which is why our team went into try and understand
- 22:03Speaker 9: what was going on, and that's when we found all
- 22:05Speaker 9: the craziness, like the weapons and their armory. We found
- 22:09Speaker 9: the payments to the Taliban.
- 22:10Speaker 11: Oh yeah, that the evidence, right.
- 22:15Speaker 9: So just a few hours after we got into their headquarters,
- 22:18Speaker 9: we found that their chief accountant had actually deleted over
- 22:20Speaker 9: a terabyte.
- 22:21Speaker 11: Of accounting records from several leaders.
- 22:22Speaker 9: So you'd have to ask the question, well, why would
- 22:24Speaker 9: somebody do that if the Doch team fortunately was able
- 22:26Speaker 9: to recover that data with the help of a few
- 22:28Speaker 9: great employees at the Institute a Piece. And I think
- 22:30Speaker 9: the most troubling thing was they received fifty five million
- 22:33Speaker 9: dollars a year from Congress, and any money that went unspent,
- 22:36Speaker 9: instead of returning that to Congress, they would sweep it
- 22:38Speaker 9: into a private bank account which had no Congressional oversight.
- 22:42Speaker 9: And that's what they would use to fund things like
- 22:44Speaker 9: events at their headquarters and the private jets. And so
- 22:47Speaker 9: I think it's a great example because most Americans don't
- 22:50Speaker 9: know what's going on at a lot of these smaller agencies,
- 22:53Speaker 9: and this is a I think the most extreme case
- 22:54Speaker 9: of some of the.
- 22:57Speaker 11: Wasteful spend that we're finding.
- 22:58Speaker 12: So the agencies are high money from you, they're sending
- 23:02Speaker 12: into the Taliban. They have loaded weapons in the.
- 23:06Speaker 11: Department buildings at the Institute of Peace.
- 23:08Speaker 12: At the Institute of Peace, that's right, So this is
- 23:12Speaker 12: a cover up.
- 23:13Speaker 13: When you guys roll in this wanted a cover up,
- 23:17Speaker 13: they delete a vast amount of financial information. That's really
- 23:22Speaker 13: a definition of a cover up.
- 23:23Speaker 11: Isn't that illegal to delete evidence? Yes, shred documents?
- 23:28Speaker 8: It is.
- 23:28Speaker 9: It's it's certainly illegal to delete accounting records that the
- 23:31Speaker 9: Congress would certainly want to know where the Congressional appropriated
- 23:34Speaker 9: funds are going from taxpayers.
- 23:36Speaker 12: When you catch them going Hillary style on their computers,
- 23:41Speaker 12: do you refer this to the Department of Justice?
- 23:43Speaker 9: In this case, we did refer the evidence in the
- 23:45Speaker 9: accounting example to the FBI and d OJ.
- 23:48Speaker 11: We're proud to do that. So yes, we did. Instance
- 23:52Speaker 11: has shown.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I mean, let's just go back to what you said
- 23:56Speaker 2: center a moment ago and and dive into this a
- 23:58Speaker 2: little bit more. If this is that type of activity,
- 24:02Speaker 2: in this type of cover up and referring this to
- 24:05Speaker 2: the DOJ, what would the next step be on that?
- 24:09Speaker 2: And then also what can Congress do if anything, knowing
- 24:13Speaker 2: now what they've just told you.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Look, I got to say almost every word of that
- 24:17Speaker 1: is shocking. That they gave one hundred and thirty grand
- 24:21Speaker 1: to a for a member of the Taliban, that's astonishing.
- 24:25Speaker 1: That they spent taxpayer money on private jets. That's astonishing.
- 24:29Speaker 1: That the Institute of Peace had an armory with a
- 24:33Speaker 1: whole bunch of weapons. Now let me repeat that the
- 24:36Speaker 1: Institute of Peace apparently felt the need to be packing
- 24:40Speaker 1: and when does showed up, they started deleting their accounting records,
- 24:45Speaker 1: which screams guilt. By the way, when when President Trump
- 24:48Speaker 1: did the interview with ABC News in the Oval, one
- 24:51Speaker 1: of the things ABC News says as well, there have
- 24:53Speaker 1: been no referrals to the Apartment of Justice, and President
- 24:56Speaker 1: Trump quite rightly says, how do you know that, Well,
- 24:59Speaker 1: this is this is one. It turns out there have
- 25:01Speaker 1: been multiple referrals to the Apartment of Justice for fraud.
- 25:05Speaker 1: It's just ABC News doesn't want people to know that. Here,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I want you to listen to another clip. This is
- 25:09Speaker 1: another clip where the Department of Education had a four
- 25:14Speaker 1: billion dollar COVID fund that let government employees draw down.
- 25:19Speaker 1: They used it for things like parties and to rent
- 25:22Speaker 1: out venues like Caesar's Palace. Give a listen.
- 25:25Speaker 8: Yeah, there was a four billion dollar COVID fund in
- 25:29Speaker 8: the Department of Education and there was no receipts required,
- 25:32Speaker 8: so people we just drawed down on it. And when
- 25:34Speaker 8: people looked into it, this wasn't just this was before us.
- 25:37Speaker 8: They found that money was being used to rent out
- 25:39Speaker 8: Caesar's Palace for parties, rent out stadiums, et cetera. And
- 25:43Speaker 8: so the one change that Doze made with our education
- 25:46Speaker 8: is we had the simple requirement that if you draw
- 25:48Speaker 8: down money, you must first upload a receipt. That was
- 25:52Speaker 8: the only change that was made. You must upload your receipt,
- 25:54Speaker 8: and upon doing so, nobody drew down any money anymore.
- 25:58Speaker 10: Yes, but we didn't say that we'd checked the receipt.
- 26:01Speaker 10: You could send a fank receipt, you could send a
- 26:03Speaker 10: picture of your dog, anything, anything, anything, And as soon
- 26:10Speaker 10: as we asked for anything at all, that something, the
- 26:14Speaker 10: requests were like, Oh, we don't need it anymore. That's interesting.
- 26:17Speaker 11: They were renting Caesar's palace.
- 26:20Speaker 10: Yes, they're like basically partying on the tax chair.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Of money, basically partying on the taxpayer's money. Okay, it
- 26:27Speaker 2: sounds criminal.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Let me just ask, like, like the man on the street,
- 26:33Speaker 1: did you think the Department of Education was spending your money,
- 26:39Speaker 1: your taxpayer money to rent out Caesar's palace. That is
- 26:44Speaker 1: the very definition of waste, fraud and abuse. Four billion
- 26:48Speaker 1: dollars in a COVID slush fund with zero receipts required.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Let me just say thank god for President Trump and
- 26:55Speaker 1: Elon Musk and Doge uncovering this revealing it because it
- 27:00Speaker 1: is completely indefensible. And by the way, the Democrats, just
- 27:03Speaker 1: like they've decided they're all in for illegal immigrants and
- 27:05Speaker 1: gang members and violent criminals and white theaters, they're also
- 27:09Speaker 1: all in for this kind of waste, fraud and abuse,
- 27:11Speaker 1: including renting out Caesar's palace with your tax payer money.
- 27:15Speaker 2: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Center,
