- 1:01Speaker 1: turning you're going to do. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. You haven't got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water got me. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show. Boil
- 2:14Speaker 1: Boiled boy. I can't even tell you, man um. I've
- 2:19Speaker 1: been doing some thinking and and one of the things
- 2:23Speaker 1: that I wanted to mention today to you as one
- 2:26Speaker 1: of the principles of success being grateful at all times.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It's difficult to do. Being grateful at all times. It's
- 2:42Speaker 1: very difficult to do. I find that to be true
- 2:46Speaker 1: with myself. Now there are others that might be able
- 2:49Speaker 1: to do it, but just just from talking and listening
- 2:52Speaker 1: and and and living and learning, being grateful at all
- 2:56Speaker 1: times is difficult to do, but it's necessary because it's
- 3:03Speaker 1: such an act of faith in knowing that no matter
- 3:07Speaker 1: what's going on, it's going to be all right. And
- 3:11Speaker 1: it's hard to see that when things are not going
- 3:15Speaker 1: in your favor, when things have turned so dramatically the
- 3:21Speaker 1: other way, and it seems as though you're the only
- 3:24Speaker 1: one in the situation where you're involved with other people,
- 3:28Speaker 1: or someone got an accusation against you falsely, or somebody
- 3:32Speaker 1: trying to do something to you unjustifiably, whatever the case
- 3:35Speaker 1: may be. When it's happening to you, it does appear
- 3:40Speaker 1: to you that, oh, my goodness, man, this is horribly
- 3:45Speaker 1: one sided. So it is difficult, it's hard to do
- 3:50Speaker 1: to be grateful at all times, but it's so necessary,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and I I just want to point out a couple
- 3:56Speaker 1: of things to you. First of all, the difficulty in
- 4:01Speaker 1: being grateful in hard times is that number one, the
- 4:07Speaker 1: present circumstances. Oftentimes it's just so pressing and so overwhelming
- 4:12Speaker 1: that a lot of your energy is devoted to trying
- 4:15Speaker 1: to come up with the solution for that, or trying
- 4:18Speaker 1: to muster the strength to whether the storm, or trying
- 4:22Speaker 1: to just brace yourself to try to get through it,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and in doing that, you don't It's hard to be grateful.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's hard to be grateful in pain, and I know
- 4:34Speaker 1: it is. But here is the trick for me. This
- 4:38Speaker 1: is what I've had to learn how to do, and
- 4:42Speaker 1: I guess it takes practice to get here. It's not
- 4:45Speaker 1: nothing you can just start doing right away. You got
- 4:48Speaker 1: to practice it in small increments to really get it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: What I've always had to say to myself and what
- 4:53Speaker 1: I've learned to say to myself is this is happening
- 4:57Speaker 1: to me because God is working me through something. This
- 5:02Speaker 1: is happening to me because there's some form of tests
- 5:06Speaker 1: that I have to pass in order to graduate to
- 5:09Speaker 1: the next grade, in order to be allowed to move
- 5:13Speaker 1: to the next level. This is happening to me because
- 5:17Speaker 1: there's something I need to purge my life, of my body,
- 5:22Speaker 1: of my spirit, of something's purging in me. And when
- 5:26Speaker 1: you purge something, it's it's painful. You know, It's like
- 5:30Speaker 1: a person getting off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing. I've
- 5:36Speaker 1: been told and every documentary I've ever watched it it's
- 5:39Speaker 1: an agonizing process to go cold turkey, to withdraw, to
- 5:44Speaker 1: pull away after you've been doing something so long. And
- 5:48Speaker 1: so I know that this process is tough when you're
- 5:54Speaker 1: going through some pain, But when you're purging your system,
- 5:59Speaker 1: when you're when you're having to pass a test, when
- 6:02Speaker 1: you're about to make when you're being made ready for
- 6:07Speaker 1: the next level. That moment right in there, in realizing
- 6:11Speaker 1: that that's what's happening, that's where you find the gratitude.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's where I found the gratitude. I hope I'm explaining
- 6:19Speaker 1: this correctly. I'm gonna keep trying until I get it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But that's where you find the gratitude. The second part
- 6:27Speaker 1: of it is is that God has never left me
- 6:32Speaker 1: in all the things I've done, in all the mistakes
- 6:35Speaker 1: I've made, all the lies I've told, all the situations
- 6:40Speaker 1: I've gotten myself into, from being greedy and wanting too
- 6:44Speaker 1: much for me at the expense sometimes of other people,
- 6:52Speaker 1: not doing it deliberately or in a vindictive way, because
- 6:57Speaker 1: I've never had that spirit. I'm not a vindictive or
- 7:00Speaker 1: mean person, but sometimes in my life, in wanting to
- 7:05Speaker 1: do what I wanted to do, I didn't totally weigh
- 7:09Speaker 1: out the cause and effect of the other person. I mean,
- 7:12Speaker 1: can't just be real with you with that. I mean,
- 7:15Speaker 1: how many times we hadn't all done that? Look, it
- 7:17Speaker 1: doesn't don't make you a bad person. You know, good
- 7:21Speaker 1: people do bad things all the time. I just happen
- 7:25Speaker 1: to have come to the realization that unknowingly and and
- 7:30Speaker 1: not and not with malice intent towards a person. I've
- 7:37Speaker 1: heard people looking at something I wanted to do without
- 7:42Speaker 1: really looking at what the cause and effect would be
- 7:45Speaker 1: on the other person. So in doing some of these things,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I've created situations for myself. But God, through his grace
- 7:54Speaker 1: and mercy, has allowed me to even get beyond that.
- 7:58Speaker 1: So what I'm saying at God has never left me
- 8:01Speaker 1: in spite of myself. He's always gotten me through. So
- 8:05Speaker 1: that's the other part of it too. See that no
- 8:08Speaker 1: matter what you're going through, you've got to understand that
- 8:12Speaker 1: God has always gotten you through it, now, hasn't it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Now that may not be the way you want it
- 8:16Speaker 1: or the way you liked, but guess what, you can't
- 8:19Speaker 1: do wrong and not pay for that. Now that that's
- 8:22Speaker 1: not how this works, That's never going to be the case.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But the great thing about God is he fires warning
- 8:28Speaker 1: shots at us all the time. He gives us an
- 8:30Speaker 1: opportunity to stop. You know, he don't fully punish us
- 8:34Speaker 1: right away every time we do something wrong. Now does it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: You know eventually you're going to get caught doing whatever
- 8:41Speaker 1: it is you're doing. You do understand that, don't you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But the first time, that close call, that was a
- 8:47Speaker 1: warning shot for you to stop. Look, I know you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: not perfect. I know we all sent us down here,
- 8:53Speaker 1: so I know you're gonna make mistakes. One time, I
- 8:55Speaker 1: know you was looking at her when you wasn't supposed to.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I know you said something to him when you wasn't
- 9:00Speaker 1: supposed to. I know you got with her when you
- 9:02Speaker 1: know you wasn't supposed to. And I know you got
- 9:05Speaker 1: with him when you know you wasn't supposed to. So
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna fire
- 9:09Speaker 1: warning shot and maybe you'll slow your roll this time.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But we keep on though, See see see that's what happens. See,
- 9:15Speaker 1: we just keep on and then the next thing, you know,
- 9:19Speaker 1: we get caught. Now, old Lord, have mercy, I won't
- 9:22Speaker 1: out of this. Yeah. Well see you didn't dug this
- 9:24Speaker 1: hole pretty deep, and he gonna get you out. But
- 9:28Speaker 1: there's some things that's got to go down now because
- 9:31Speaker 1: you didn't pay attention to the warning shot. See, had
- 9:33Speaker 1: you stopped the first time you felt bad about it
- 9:35Speaker 1: and said you wasn't gonna do it no more. The
- 9:38Speaker 1: situation wouldn't be as critical. But because we don't stop,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and we go again. But God always for gives, He
- 9:46Speaker 1: always allows us to get back up again. He always
- 9:51Speaker 1: gives us mercy, He always gives us his grace. He
- 9:56Speaker 1: always does that. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen. Undivided
- 10:04Speaker 1: attention is all that's required here, nothing more. Uh. It's
- 10:09Speaker 1: not necessary to have good sense. Uh, it's not necessary
- 10:13Speaker 1: to have common sense. Degrees are not needed. Um anything
- 10:19Speaker 1: of any value. You just don't need it. Just need
- 10:23Speaker 1: you listening. Because this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:28Speaker 1: We need you to be open minded and receptive to
- 10:32Speaker 1: the foolishness that's about to go down. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:37Speaker 1: This is thus Steve Harvey Morning Show. Make no mistake
- 10:42Speaker 1: about it. Ain't no other one batter than this hill.

- 11:29Speaker 1: How about with you? How are you selling? I feel
- 11:30Speaker 1: pretty good, man, feel pretty good. Um, I'm just like
- 11:35Speaker 1: really really fine. You know. No, I was just trying
- 11:39Speaker 1: to think of how to describe it, don't know. Let
- 11:42Speaker 1: me ask you something, man. How often you count your money? Though?
- 11:46Speaker 1: Like once a week once they're two weeks, you go
- 11:48Speaker 1: look at it and look at your zero? Did you
- 11:51Speaker 1: hear what he said? I don't ever do that. They
- 11:54Speaker 1: don't never go look at it like when you first okay,
- 11:58Speaker 1: when you first got it, did you go look at
- 12:01Speaker 1: When is it that it will be where you can
- 12:02Speaker 1: go see it a viewing at least online? You know,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you go pull up your bank accout. Oh, I thought
- 12:09Speaker 1: you meant like look at the actual money. Yeah, just
- 12:12Speaker 1: put it up to say okay, now I look at
- 12:16Speaker 1: my bank accounts. You know. Well, do you ever call
- 12:19Speaker 1: down and say I want all my mone out this
- 12:21Speaker 1: bank right now and then say I'm just playing? Well,
- 12:23Speaker 1: if you do, if you threaten me, I've done that before.
- 12:26Speaker 1: If you threaten Oh yeah, if you talk to me crazy. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I thought you're into song. Oh I won't get too
- 12:34Speaker 1: How many brinks trucks is that? I take all that?
- 12:42Speaker 1: I ain't never really had to do it to set
- 12:44Speaker 1: once and I ain't had that much, but I had
- 12:45Speaker 1: enough down there to be effective. So bank talk to
- 12:49Speaker 1: me crazy one time. Yeah, I just said, all right,
- 12:52Speaker 1: no problem, just let me have my money. You gotta
- 12:55Speaker 1: have talk to a manager. Let me talk to him.
- 12:58Speaker 1: So I'll be down the mall two thirty. Need it
- 13:00Speaker 1: all in cash. There's about six people in my house
- 13:03Speaker 1: that evening. Kind of get this together. Who said something
- 13:09Speaker 1: to him? We're straighten us out right on. Who the hell?
- 13:17Speaker 1: It's the former employee here who made this mistake? I
- 13:22Speaker 1: said it correctly, the former employee here. Because you're done,
- 13:27Speaker 1: you're listening show, all right, It is time now to
- 13:32Speaker 1: start your morning off with the nephew and run that
- 13:34Speaker 1: break back. What you got for us? Now? Can I
- 13:36Speaker 1: have your kidney? Hello? Hello, I'm trying to reach a brother, Conny.
- 13:44Speaker 1: This is kind of how you doing brother? This is
- 13:47Speaker 1: Deacon Patterson called him from the church. How you doing today,
- 13:50Speaker 1: Deacon Patterson? Yeah, you're doing fine. And you said, I'm
- 13:53Speaker 1: sor I'm doing good, doing good. You know the church
- 13:56Speaker 1: is behind you on what you're going through. When we
- 13:58Speaker 1: were praying for you, man, we know all about to
- 14:00Speaker 1: You know you're going in the surgeon on Friday to
- 14:02Speaker 1: get your get your prancers removed. So I wanted to
- 14:06Speaker 1: give you a call, man, have a word of prayer
- 14:07Speaker 1: and let you know that we all are pulling for you,
- 14:10Speaker 1: and we know that that the man upstairs are gonna
- 14:12Speaker 1: pull you through the successful where God bless and keep you.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Uh that deacon, God blessing keep you because I tell
- 14:18Speaker 1: you I'm going through something here. Me and my wife,
- 14:20Speaker 1: we've been talking about it and we've been praying on
- 14:23Speaker 1: it and it she was a wonderful thing to know
- 14:25Speaker 1: that your church is with you and y'all thinking about
- 14:28Speaker 1: me in prayer. I I've really had to take this
- 14:31Speaker 1: to the Lord. This is a serious thing with me
- 14:33Speaker 1: and I ain't never had an operation before in my life,
- 14:36Speaker 1: and I know I need it. My wife and made
- 14:39Speaker 1: it clear the doctor made it clear that I believe
- 14:41Speaker 1: I'm ready to go forward. Deacons, and we're gonna give
- 14:43Speaker 1: the victory to who the or yourself. He's the victory.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Let let me let me have a word of prayer
- 14:50Speaker 1: with your brother Connor. You don't mind just about your
- 14:52Speaker 1: head from him. Father, God were as right now, we
- 14:55Speaker 1: ask right now that you touch brother Connelly as he
- 14:58Speaker 1: goes in on Friday. Please put your hands on him.
- 15:01Speaker 1: We asked, Father, that you hold on to the doctor
- 15:04Speaker 1: that's getting ready to go and lay to put surgery
- 15:06Speaker 1: on him. Yes. We asked that you make sure that
- 15:09Speaker 1: the doctor it's got a strong eye who on that
- 15:13Speaker 1: morning walk with him. We asked that that that he
- 15:15Speaker 1: got a steady hand when he got the scalpel in
- 15:18Speaker 1: his hand. We asked that you hold on to him
- 15:21Speaker 1: please as he goes into a surgeon, because we know,
- 15:24Speaker 1: come side the morning, the victory gonna belong to brother
- 15:28Speaker 1: Conley and the Lord. Thank you Lord, We know all
- 15:31Speaker 1: of this. But we we asked that you take that
- 15:33Speaker 1: pincress and you remove it out successingly closing back up
- 15:37Speaker 1: like it will never been into end before walk with Niki.
- 15:40Speaker 1: That's what we're asking, we ask your Lord. At the
- 15:42Speaker 1: same time that they're removing this pincreus. Lord, we asked
- 15:46Speaker 1: that you reach around his backside and we asked that
- 15:49Speaker 1: you touch his kidney. Lord, touch his kidney and make
- 15:53Speaker 1: it hold, make it a hundred and ten percent. We
- 15:55Speaker 1: want you to make that that kidney like it's been
- 15:58Speaker 1: that best kidney because Deacon, that's deacon, Deacon whoop, pat
- 16:03Speaker 1: Deason passon. Yes you know, yes, say they do, sir.
- 16:06Speaker 1: They're just nothing wrong with my kidney, Deacon. I'm doing.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm doing fine. The Lord is Lord has been needed. Well,
- 16:11Speaker 1: he's gonna work on my pancris. That's what the doctors
- 16:13Speaker 1: operating through me forward, and that's what they're playing to remove.
- 16:17Speaker 1: So really, my kidding is fine. They did what they
- 16:19Speaker 1: called when they'm in my eyes and everything else is fine.
- 16:22Speaker 1: They ain't working on nothing but my pancres, sir, right
- 16:25Speaker 1: right right, Well, let me let me say I'm glad
- 16:27Speaker 1: you brought it up with this. This this wudn't want
- 16:29Speaker 1: I call you, huh. Of course I did call the
- 16:32Speaker 1: prey for you. Yes, you know, because I want to
- 16:34Speaker 1: make know that that that that you make it through
- 16:36Speaker 1: this successfully. But what another reason why I'm getting rounded
- 16:39Speaker 1: is here is uh, what I want to ask you,
- 16:42Speaker 1: and I know we we you know we've never met
- 16:44Speaker 1: face to face. I've seen you a couple of times,
- 16:46Speaker 1: like I said, the church, but you've been out most time, uh,
- 16:48Speaker 1: or you with your sickness and whatnot. But now, what
- 16:51Speaker 1: what I was gonna ask you was yeah, and I
- 16:55Speaker 1: know this is I hate to come at you in
- 16:57Speaker 1: the final hour and you're getting ready to go out
- 16:59Speaker 1: sirtain and all that. But if you don't mind it,
- 17:02Speaker 1: if you could see it in your heart to see
- 17:06Speaker 1: to do something for somebody else. Yes, Uh, that's that's
- 17:09Speaker 1: the large where you always supposed to help those who right.
- 17:13Speaker 1: And I'm glad you think like that. Now when they
- 17:16Speaker 1: go in on Friday morning and remove that pincers out,
- 17:20Speaker 1: do you think that that that that they could go
- 17:24Speaker 1: in and get one of your kidneys? Because I need
- 17:28Speaker 1: one hold hold on just met being what you say,
- 17:33Speaker 1: but what you say, see see see what else. I've
- 17:35Speaker 1: been going through myself with a little ailment and and
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'm wondering if if if I need a kidney, and
- 17:41Speaker 1: I'm wondering if you can give me one of yours.
- 17:43Speaker 1: When they go in and get your pinkers, they're going
- 17:44Speaker 1: already to have you open. Did you say you wanted
- 17:47Speaker 1: them to take one of my kidneys? Yeah, and give
- 17:49Speaker 1: it to me because I need one. You need a kidney? Yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 1: but what I mean you already gonna be lading there open?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Wait a minute, mister, you need a kidney, I need
- 17:58Speaker 1: hit with my packers. You will call he was black
- 18:00Speaker 1: that man. This ain't no work of the Lord. Now
- 18:03Speaker 1: you say you're a deacon like I said, dickon patters
- 18:06Speaker 1: in my name. But see what I'm asking you? If
- 18:08Speaker 1: what youk me? Man, brother cornin, what harm is it?
- 18:13Speaker 1: If you already open and laying on t Oh, you
- 18:15Speaker 1: ain't heard a damn thing I said? Have you? I said,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I'll be man, You're crazy as hell. Now what I'm
- 18:21Speaker 1: gonna have to do. I'm gonna need to call the
- 18:23Speaker 1: pastor because he's a going on here. You say you
- 18:26Speaker 1: knew you man A damn knew mister Mattera, You too
- 18:29Speaker 1: damn new to know who you're talking to? What What
- 18:31Speaker 1: what I'm saying is you have two kids to look
- 18:34Speaker 1: like you said you said they did the m R.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You don't give up what I said they did. Man,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I got two kidneys. You got to one of yours bad.
- 18:40Speaker 1: That's your problem. Mister. Let me tell you something. I'm
- 18:43Speaker 1: trying to get well and you calling with this. You
- 18:46Speaker 1: say you're a new deacon, you damn show ills and
- 18:49Speaker 1: you won't be at that church long. I tell you that,
- 18:51Speaker 1: because if I ever get close to yours, we got
- 18:53Speaker 1: some rithmon to do. What is it gonna hurt for
- 18:55Speaker 1: you to give me one of them kidnas? That both
- 18:57Speaker 1: of them? If both of them kidnas is good, it
- 18:59Speaker 1: ain't gonna hurt it. Thankful you ain't getting my kidney? Man,
- 19:03Speaker 1: what's wrong with you saying? All I'm saying is if
- 19:06Speaker 1: you're gonna be olden laying on the table, what is
- 19:08Speaker 1: it gonna hurt? Call me old man? You're gonna kim
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm open laying on the damn table. What countable bare
- 19:14Speaker 1: you in charge of? Mister? Let me tell you something
- 19:16Speaker 1: I was. I need to meet you before I get
- 19:18Speaker 1: to the hospital, and maybe I can damn bag getting
- 19:21Speaker 1: to yours. And I can't tell you that we flow
- 19:23Speaker 1: you're gonna feel a damn thing. How about that? I'll
- 19:26Speaker 1: be damned if you're gonna call and talk to me
- 19:28Speaker 1: out of one of my damn kidneys. Man, I'm trying
- 19:30Speaker 1: to live just like you, trying to let you know
- 19:32Speaker 1: I take care of me because what you're talking about
- 19:34Speaker 1: it ain't got a damn thing to do with Jesus.
- 19:36Speaker 1: You can kiss my and get off my phone. That's
- 19:38Speaker 1: what you can do. Can I say one more thing

- 27:20Speaker 1: good job Jay, Yeah, yeah, you play Wifie very well,
- 27:26Speaker 1: very well. You're listening show. It is time for ask
- 27:33Speaker 1: the CLO. Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey, Ready for your
- 27:37Speaker 1: love questions? All right. This one's from Susannah in New York.
- 27:40Speaker 1: She says, last night, my son told me the funniest
- 27:43Speaker 1: thing I've ever heard about his auntie. It's his father's sister,
- 27:46Speaker 1: and she's very heavy chested, and she wears really good bras.
- 27:51Speaker 1: So they're always up high at attention. My son is
- 27:54Speaker 1: six and his auntie likes to give him a big
- 27:57Speaker 1: old bear hug. Well, last night he told me that
- 28:01Speaker 1: he hates it when she grabs him because his faith
- 28:04Speaker 1: ends up in her bra and he said it is
- 28:06Speaker 1: always musty in there. He wants me to tell her
- 28:12Speaker 1: to stop hugging him. I will tell her to stop
- 28:15Speaker 1: hugging him. But should I tell her? Why should I? Well,
- 28:19Speaker 1: first of all, you started this off wrong. You said
- 28:24Speaker 1: my son said to me, the funniest thing I've ever heard.
- 28:27Speaker 1: That's not the funniest thing we've heard. I just wanted
- 28:31Speaker 1: to point that out, and that damn funny. So I
- 28:36Speaker 1: was disappointed as the story unfolds. Yeah, you know, it's
- 28:40Speaker 1: the funniest thing I've ever heard. I went, oh my god,
- 28:43Speaker 1: this is gonna be good. It's musty in there. Well,
- 28:46Speaker 1: you know he's six. That ain't the mustiest thing you've
- 28:51Speaker 1: ever smelled. So it's a lot of disappointment in this
- 28:56Speaker 1: whole set up. So I really don't have no advice
- 28:59Speaker 1: for her. The damn six year old, You're gonna get
- 29:01Speaker 1: hugged whenever her big ass want to hug you. How
- 29:04Speaker 1: about that? That's what's gonna happen to you? Because you
- 29:07Speaker 1: six how many times I had to hug relatives I
- 29:09Speaker 1: didn't want to. You're gonna be getting them same hugs
- 29:12Speaker 1: to you about twelve. Don't she need some powder up there? Now?
- 29:17Speaker 1: She gonna get bigger dog where she had. Now she
- 29:21Speaker 1: gonna swell. She only gonna get bigger. And you can't
- 29:25Speaker 1: put powder in your cleavage and show it at the
- 29:28Speaker 1: same time. Somebody, Yeah, it's not good for you. Okay,
- 29:37Speaker 1: so you heard them too talking, so you can't do that.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I'm just thinking y'all have something to say about it.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And I just noticed, you know, because it's gonna cake up.
- 29:53Speaker 1: She gonna look like corn starch on the baby. I'm power. Now,
- 30:00Speaker 1: come on, let's go to it. Yeah, nobody, it's it's
- 30:05Speaker 1: yeah some charges. Look at your uncle coming to your rescue.
- 30:16Speaker 1: All right. This is from Quirky and Charleston, South Carolina.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Quirky says, my fiance treats me like a queen, but
- 30:22Speaker 1: I need him to try one thing for me. He
- 30:25Speaker 1: has strong Christian values, but he finally gave in and
- 30:28Speaker 1: we've been having pre marital sex. I feel like if
- 30:31Speaker 1: we're going to have sex, we should do everything. He
- 30:35Speaker 1: won't do everything. Though I've put chocolate sauce on it,
- 30:39Speaker 1: worn edible cherry flavored underwear, and he still says he's
- 30:43Speaker 1: not going down there. I do it for him. So
- 30:46Speaker 1: what's the problem? Uh? Is there something that if you
- 30:50Speaker 1: think he will consider doing after we get married? Wow? Way,
- 30:56Speaker 1: way were you disappointed in that? I have a hanswer
- 31:01Speaker 1: for her. First of all, quirky wanna get quirky. So
- 31:05Speaker 1: let's just start that quirky. I want to get quirky. Now,
- 31:11Speaker 1: I don't listen to me. I know every boy has
- 31:16Speaker 1: said when he first found out about that, he would
- 31:20Speaker 1: never do that. Every boy has said that when they
- 31:24Speaker 1: first found that. I ain't gonna do that. My brother
- 31:29Speaker 1: told me, keep living food, he saying, quis saying what
- 31:36Speaker 1: you ain't gonna ever do? My brother told me, he said, boy,
- 31:40Speaker 1: you don't understand how good it is? A question? Move on?
- 31:50Speaker 1: Do you do you enjoy your job? Do you enjoy
- 31:53Speaker 1: working here? Because you won't be you keep it up?
- 31:57Speaker 1: So anyway, anyway, anyway, I don't know how old you are, man.
- 32:05Speaker 1: But like I said, every boy has said it when
- 32:08Speaker 1: they first heard about it. Oh, I ain't gonna do that.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Every boy I know that ever said it, don't done it.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Check look forward old heights. You go okay. I think
- 32:24Speaker 1: you've answered that sufficiently. Thank you. Moving on? He gonna
- 32:28Speaker 1: have on a mon? Did you just hear what I said?
- 32:32Speaker 1: We are moving on? Every finish tell me be quiet.

- 33:04Speaker 1: the den. I looked outside and he was sitting in
- 33:06Speaker 1: a woman's car. He jumped out and told her to
- 33:09Speaker 1: drive off. His pants were unzipped, and he said it
- 33:14Speaker 1: was a coincidence and she was a former car worker
- 33:17Speaker 1: that needed advice. What do you think would have gone
- 33:20Speaker 1: down if I hadn't walked out when I did? It

- 50:13Speaker 1: And that's where all the creative stuff is on the left.
- 50:16Speaker 1: And a lot of people don't know that. A lot
- 50:17Speaker 1: of people don't know how to go there and use
- 50:20Speaker 1: that side. Some people are just stuck on the right.
- 50:22Speaker 1: And then you know, I'm just happen to be blessed
- 50:24Speaker 1: like that. Well, thank you for breaking that down in
- 50:29Speaker 1: your brain to the left okay, Tommy, everything he does
- 50:37Speaker 1: in his brain to the left. That all right, thank you,

- 51:16Speaker 1: a Strawberry letter. All right everyone, here's the subject. One
- 51:23Speaker 1: of my side pieces is stressing me out. Stephen Shirley.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I am a successful executive and my job involves a
- 51:37Speaker 1: lot of travel. I've been married for twenty years, but
- 51:40Speaker 1: for the last five years, my wife has had some
- 51:43Speaker 1: medical issues and she's gained a lot of weight. At first,
- 51:47Speaker 1: she tried to keep her weight down, but then she
- 51:50Speaker 1: just let herself go and she's not happy with herself,
- 51:52Speaker 1: so she stopped having sex with me. I did a
- 51:56Speaker 1: very selfish thing and started seeing other women, and I
- 52:00Speaker 1: am on work trips. At one time, I had four
- 52:03Speaker 1: different side pieces in four different states. They are all
- 52:07Speaker 1: great women, but they don't hold a candle to my wife,
- 52:11Speaker 1: so I knew I was wrong. Three of them used
- 52:14Speaker 1: me for money and dinners when I was in town,
- 52:16Speaker 1: and that was fine with me. But one of my
- 52:19Speaker 1: side pieces fell in love with me and wanted me
- 52:22Speaker 1: to leave my wife for her. I told her that
- 52:25Speaker 1: would never happen, and she lost it and screamed and
- 52:28Speaker 1: cried and stormed out of my hotel. The next day,
- 52:32Speaker 1: she showed up at my corporate office and told the
- 52:35Speaker 1: receptionist she needed to see me. It was an emergency.
- 52:39Speaker 1: She burst into the conference room and acted a complete fool.
- 52:45Speaker 1: You slow down, okay, okay, down, youthday, it's just a letter.
- 53:03Speaker 1: What the hell is going on? Yeah, okay, okay, I'll
- 53:11Speaker 1: slow down, okay, all right, Uh I did it. I'll
- 53:15Speaker 1: start here. I did a very selfish thing and started
- 53:18Speaker 1: seeing other women while I am on work trip. I
- 53:23Speaker 1: told her, okay, I like this line. Three of them
- 53:29Speaker 1: use me for money and dinners when I was in town,
- 53:32Speaker 1: and that was fine with me. But one of my
- 53:33Speaker 1: side piece. But one of my side pieces fell in
- 53:39Speaker 1: love with me and wanted me to leave my wife
- 53:42Speaker 1: for her. It's okay, all right. I told her that
- 53:48Speaker 1: would never happen, and she lost it and screamed and
- 53:52Speaker 1: cried and stormed out of my hotel. The next day,
- 53:58Speaker 1: she showed up at my corp red office and told
- 54:01Speaker 1: the receptionist she needed to see me. It was an emergency.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Why don't let you? She bursted into the conference room
- 54:18Speaker 1: and acted a complete fool. And she burst into the
- 54:21Speaker 1: conference room, into the conference room and acted a complete fool,
- 54:26Speaker 1: Steve in front of the heads of my company. Supervisor, damn,
- 54:33Speaker 1: let that marinate for a minute, because all the fellows
- 54:37Speaker 1: that Carla, they don't. They don't have a security that
- 54:45Speaker 1: can keep a crazy woman out. It just don't. They
- 54:47Speaker 1: haven't been Steve. Breathe, guys, breathe. Okay, my boss is
- 54:55Speaker 1: in here. Yeah. Yeah. She burst into the conference room
- 54:59Speaker 1: and acted a complete full in front of the heads
- 55:01Speaker 1: of my company. They knew she was not my wife,
- 55:05Speaker 1: so they ushered her out and told me to get
- 55:09Speaker 1: my personal affairs in order. Huh huh. I tried to
- 55:16Speaker 1: call her, and when I did, I found out she
- 55:19Speaker 1: blocked my number and blocked me from her social media accounts.
- 55:25Speaker 1: She left a note at my hotel saying that she
- 55:28Speaker 1: might have to pop up in my hometown to meet
- 55:30Speaker 1: my wife and have a talk with her. That's where
- 55:35Speaker 1: I was gonna stop on my own. Uh, the hell
- 55:43Speaker 1: is you outside? For? All right? I'll continue. I have
- 55:53Speaker 1: prayed and prayed about it, and I think the best
- 55:57Speaker 1: thing to do. No, you're not gonna like this line, Steve.
- 56:05Speaker 1: All Right, Okay, I've prayed and prayed about it, and
- 56:09Speaker 1: I think the best thing to do is to tell
- 56:11Speaker 1: my wife everything. He already ignorant. All right, let me finish.
- 56:21Speaker 1: I've cut back on my side pieces and I just
- 56:25Speaker 1: have one. Now, any comments, any comments from the fellas?
- 56:30Speaker 1: All right? Tell your wife they had a crazy, perfect
- 56:33Speaker 1: escape the Syke war. I have talked to my pastor
- 56:36Speaker 1: to get back on track. What do you think I
- 56:38Speaker 1: should do? Should I tell my wife? Or do you
- 56:40Speaker 1: think my side piece was just trying to scare me? Uh? Listen,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I think this crazy blank woman would burst into your
- 56:49Speaker 1: office like this and clown like you said she did.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I think she's capable of doing anything. All Right, I'm
- 56:56Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna shorten my answer and say I think
- 57:00Speaker 1: you should tell your wife everything. I know Steve's not
- 57:03Speaker 1: gonna agree with that. In the world. No letter at
- 57:13Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. One of my side pieces
- 57:18Speaker 1: is stressing me out. We'll be back right after this.
- 57:21Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, this is a crazy letter.
- 57:26Speaker 1: We need to recap this one subject. One of my
- 57:28Speaker 1: side pieces is stressing me out. Breathe, breathe, breathe need
- 57:36Speaker 1: to be sick. Ain't a lot of weight. Try to
- 57:44Speaker 1: keep her weight down. She just let herself go. She
- 57:46Speaker 1: ain't happy with herself, but she decided to stop having
- 57:51Speaker 1: sick with me. Then the man did a very noble thing,
- 57:54Speaker 1: he said in the letter, I did a very selfish thing.
- 57:58Speaker 1: See this man know he wrongs, So he said, I
- 58:01Speaker 1: did a very selfish thing. Don't try to make him
- 58:05Speaker 1: he no, surely he know he wrong. This ain't no
- 58:12Speaker 1: hero move. He had four different side pieces and four
- 58:15Speaker 1: different states. Will you be quiet. We know what he got,
- 58:20Speaker 1: and we know he got him because he did a
- 58:23Speaker 1: selfish move, he said with selfish But what are you
- 58:26Speaker 1: gonna She stopped having sex with him. She stopped and
- 58:32Speaker 1: I to see other women on work trips, one at
- 58:35Speaker 1: one time. I had four different side pieces in four
- 58:39Speaker 1: different states. That's foe in folk. Yeah, we know, that's
- 58:43Speaker 1: a box. That's where you turned. They at every side.
- 58:50Speaker 1: That's life of completion. There you go. This is they
- 58:57Speaker 1: are all great women, but they don't hold a candle
- 59:00Speaker 1: to my wife. He's going back to make himself appear
- 59:04Speaker 1: human and agonizing over his decision. They are all great women,
- 59:09Speaker 1: but they don't hold a candle to my wife. So
- 59:11Speaker 1: I knew I was wrong. Three of them used me
- 59:14Speaker 1: for money and dinners when I was in town, and
- 59:15Speaker 1: that was fine with me. We know what the deal is.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Just Bill Withers wrote a song, you just keep on
- 59:25Speaker 1: using me as you use Come on, Bill. My friends
- 59:33Speaker 1: they feel it's all pointed duty. But anyway, one of
- 59:36Speaker 1: my side pieces fell in love with me and wanted
- 59:39Speaker 1: me to leave my wife for her. I told her
- 59:42Speaker 1: that would never happen. You should have said, let's think
- 59:46Speaker 1: about this. But now, dada never happened. Now you can't
- 59:51Speaker 1: tell a crazy person facts. You have to say, oh
- 59:56Speaker 1: yes he did. And she lost it, bream and cried
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: and stormed out the hotel room. Next day, here she
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: goes she had bought her ass down to my damn job.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Stone came into the corporate office, told the reception she
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: needed to see me. It was an emergency. I don't
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: know who this help. I don't know who this reception is.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: We didn't hide she didn't let her answer them talk
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: about she and now now she'd have bought her crazy
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: ass in this conference room. After the complete fool in
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: front of the heads of my company, they knew she
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: was not my wife, so they had her ushered out
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: and told me to get my personal affans in order. Yet,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: because this food and came down to your job, I'll
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: be damn because you trying to call it and do
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: like your bosses saying get your personal fans in order.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Tried to call them, found out she had blocked your number,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: blocked you from all her social media accounts. She left
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: the note at your hotel saying she might have to
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: pop in on my hometown to meet my wife and
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: have a talk with her. Let me plain something to you. Hey,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: you're gonna you gonna have to talk with who if

- 1:01:18Speaker 1: talk to these damn bosses that didn't go hood for me.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: You felt going ahead and talking to my wife. Nah,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: this is where I sentner Man drags the Lord and it.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I have prayed and prayed about it. You wasn't praying
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: when you were screwing them. But now that didn't turn
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: left you need the Lord now? Well the Lord know
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: you didn't need him then. Oh so now since you
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: made these decisions, we have to live with these decisions.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I have prayed and prayed about it, and I think
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: the best see his keyword. I think the best thing
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: to do just tell my wife everything. Yes, where did
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you start? You ain't been thinking in this whole letter.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You wasn't thanking me. You wasn't thinking when you let
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: her in that damn conference room. You wouldn't thank you,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: wouldn't thank you when your stupid ass told her that
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: would never happen. You shouldn't have said it that. You can't.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: You gotta let them down easier than that. If you're
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: gonna be not all a sudden, your dumb ass, just
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: start thinking and guess what your stupid ass to thought of.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I think I should go back in and tell my
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: wife everything. You're so damn stupid. That's why she on
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: your job, because you're stupid and you're gonna try to
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: fix it. I cut back on my side pieces and

- 1:03:57Speaker 1: this fan with this woman sheet and trip cane down
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: to his job screaming at the top of her lungs
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: and bassed him the bosses to pull him to the
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: side and said, hey, get your personal affairs in office
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: in or the order you know getting here. Well, that
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: ain't your wife all up here in the conference room.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: I'm sending man wig gonna slanting. She got a leopard
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: She came down there with a leopard dress on. Ain't
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: nothing office about her, Smith, because she's been crying to
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: the car on the way down. Make up all over
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: her face, got the quig, shifted, got them side burns
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: in the front of her head. Looked like she got
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: her Michael Jackson little cutey cue in the front of
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: his head. Now she came up in your job. Now
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: you think for a minute that she ain't gonna have
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: problem going to your wife house. You went on talking
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: your pass Who do you think that is? What? Bernardi?

- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Oh no, oh, no, you know you know. Boss. Let
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: me tell you something, mister Recliner. There's a lot of
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: David to the world happening heaven. Dear Lord, Jesus, Father
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: God help me in your name. Lord, I come to
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: you with all grace and mercy and favor. Realizing that
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I've been run, Jesus removed, strike her down, Lord and moved,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: take her, take her pulse from her. Lord, put her
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: father just her left side shut if you don't do
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: something now, she come in in here. God, if you
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: could just cripple just one time. It don't have to
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: be permanent. Just drop her to her knees from she
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: opened her comfortace dough. Oh God, help me come in here.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: She's gonna come in here, She's gonna come in I
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: mean there's charmagne outside. All right, man, I think that's
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: all on the Strawberry Letter on the weekend to know
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: me all you're listening show. All right, So guys, here's
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: a question for you. Do you have a hiding place
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: in your home to just have a few minutes alone?
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: You know? I mean everybody should have someplace, some little
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: getaway place that they can have some me time. For instance,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: some women like to have what they call a she
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: shed or a small room that they can read in
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: or just chill in. I you know what, I love
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: the bathroom. Men usually go into the garage or their
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: man cave or the basement or someplace. Do you take
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: an extended break in your home hiding place? Do you
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: do it every day? Is the question? Or does your
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: family know not to disturb you when you're in your
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: favorite room or you're hiding place? Come on Steve. I
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: know you take time for yourself. Yeah, I always done that. Yeah,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I'll go. I'll go to San Diego. You lead a house, Yeah,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: get the hell out. Can't follow me down there. Damn.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Grandkids know how to use the elevating everything. I'll be Damn,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: I'm going to San Diego. It's beautiful there. I don't
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: care if it there earlier. You got one, Yeah, I loved.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: I will be in my bathroom for out words. Okay,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: hours in the bathroom, in the bath because I have
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: a TV in there, and you know I do my makeup,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I don't mean the water. You don't
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: mean the toilet. No, no, no, I don't spend most
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: of my time. I spend most of my time in
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: the bathroom. No no, no, not there. I just out part. Yeah,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: that's a separate with your man. I got my TV
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: right in front of the toilet and a computer. Now
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: that's how you go from Now, that's how you I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: don't miss nothing because when I'm watching the game, I
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: just get up going in the bathroom. It's on the
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: wall right in front of you. Yeah, ain't done that
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: up a little high where you can keep your head up.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: You don't want a real even keep your head or
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: be digestive. Track is more open slight. What about your
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: You tell me I'm in my theater I can get
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: away from. Did you hear that rich Yeah? Yeah yeah.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Now you said a rich ass statement, and I ain't
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: saying that. You said, my kids on my grand baby's
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: on the elevator. I ain't saying nothing about your elevating
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: in your house. And I ain't going because I ain't
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: gonna go ahead, tea rooms in this shau. I thought
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I had it limited. Okay, Well pass his elevator on
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: my theater. Hey, junior, which one of your rooms in
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: your house is your theater? Yeah, let's hear from the poet.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I but theater. What I had to do is take
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: some some drapes and put them on the side of
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: the TV. Make my ass a theater with the grandmother promote.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna make a theater. Hold on, y'all, come out
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: the kitchen. Drapes gonna catch you. I'm gonna make a
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: thill that boy, Paula, that Chad must be nice. I
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: ain't being me. I'll go to my theater, sir. Nothing.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I can't say nothing. How many seats in the theater.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I'm not telling so many. They can't find him in there.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Shut up, Steve, where theater? Go down front? See if
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: he down. Now I'm gonna take my head down and
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: looking the brock and see where Brown. Ask me where
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I go to get away? That's all I said. Man,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Well the Lord is still blessing, blessing you. Man. I
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: didn't even know I'm gonna be talking you like you
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: had one. I got changed. How I talked to you?
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: How are you talking to him at front? Like he hand?
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: No theater? Now he gotta I gotta changed. I talked
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: to him, man, mister nephew. Now, hey, miss nephew, what

- 1:11:09Speaker 1: don't make it to San Diego, what room in your
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: home do you go to? Where do you go? I'll
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: go all the way down to the Base's done? Done?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Then just lit man cave. I've got Oh, okay, all right, Steve,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: all right, coming up more of today's trending stories on
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and we'll be back in
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this. What yeah
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show? Well, apparently single parents are
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: having a hard time dating, and popular dating apps have
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: failed them. So a brand new app for single parents
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: launched on March second, which was National Single Parents' Day.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: The new dating app, it's called Stir, will cater to
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the specific needs of single parents who aren't finding luck
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: on mainstream dating apps. Studies have shown that single parents
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: naturally gravitate towards each towards other single parents. I think
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: that's natural because they didn't have to explain their constraints,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: and as they are in the same stage of life,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: so I think it should be interesting. What do you
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: guys think? But what if they both have like, you know,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: seven kids, like Steve or something, and they're trying to
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: make a love connection. What do you guys think I
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: need to if I'm single, I didn't know how many
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: damn kids? You've got enough? You got five, six kids?
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: And that's not I need to Can we feel that
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: out when we when we type in our information, we
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: need to know that datable. Is that what you're saying?
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: If she has from me? Yeah, okay for me? Yeah? Well,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: well what if you have five or six kids you
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: want somebody to date you? But I'm not looking for
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: somebody that got well, we don't need is another five?
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Not as teen? So yeah, I'm one with children. Yeah,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I could think somebody with children, but it can't be six.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: What's your limit though? Yeah? By one? Two? Okay, one possible.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: We're not We're gonna date you guys. All right, we'll
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: in thirty three minutes after we'll play a round or
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: would you rather? Right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Time now for a round of would
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: you rather? Would you rather mentally or physically never age
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: never age? Would you rather mentally never age or physically never? Well, well,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: what depends on from where you talking about? I mean,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: like for like right now, hear you, h if I
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: could just physically not age anymore, I would you want
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: to go physically? Yeah? I want to mentally age. That's
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: cool because I'm playing on knowing more. Yeah, Tommy, you
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: might want to go with you don't answer my answer,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: We don't answer. You might want to go with be
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: though I'd rather not answer answering your own. We might
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: try to see if maybe it's a couple more witches somewhere. Goodness,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: what I say not to say, that's when you went
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: out picking up two three. He got to take that,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: he got to take that shot. It would be it
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: would be physically sure, Physically I'm going I'm going Mentally
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: mentally I'm not doing well with the body I got.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go with be Well, you're working out, junior,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: you work Yeah, yeah, they ain't changing the man. You
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: want to know something, Man, he got a point. Man,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I'm working out eating right, it just ain't dropping fast
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: enough for me. I don't even know what the hell
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: it is. I'm sick of them, them prepared meals. That's
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: what's grabbing me. Crazy man, But didn't you send the
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: pitch out of you got your high school jacket on? Well?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: But see right there? Or who got that? Jack? Who
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: wear that jacket? That don't say much? Right, it ain't
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: nothing more wearing hell. I can't wear nothing I wore
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: in high school, nothing draws, jacket, strap, shoe, sock. I
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: cain't wear nothing. I waited a hundred and party seven pounds.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: I can't wear nothing I had on in high school.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I don't even want to the change you were in
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: high school? Can you wear ill? The what the change
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: around your neck. Can you wear to change your head
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: and tell them money for no damn change, Julie change.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: I had a handbone, a handbone, Julry dog. I didn't
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: even have a watch. Oh man, I swear to god,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I swear, I swear to god. I didn't I didn't
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: even have a watch. Dog is that I didn't have
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: to watch? Yeah? Man, everything I couldn't do. I can't
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: have a car. I couldn't have no watch. I got
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: watches and cars. All right, Well, that's it for this
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: round of would you rather? Coming up at forty nine
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, it is our last break of
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: one and only Judge Steve right after this. You're listening
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, we are back. This is our
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: last break of the day. Steve. We're ready for your
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: closing remarks. I'm so happy they're bad today. I want
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: to give you all something that came to me. Uh,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: it came to me this morning. I was been in
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: really over the weekend. I was doing a lot of
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: prayerful meditating over the weekend, you know, just trying to
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: recenter myself. You know, sometimes I get a little off
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: you know, I see myself sliding off course. I'm forgetting
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: to be grateful as I should. I started working on
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: some things that I want to happen so bad. I
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: keep pouring a lot of time into it. I keep,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: you know, reviewing my plans and goals, and sometimes you know,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: your second guest stuff, and sometimes you spend a lot
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: of time just scratching your head trying to figure out
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: your next move. I'm sure everybody can relate to that.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: How you sit up in here, man, and some of
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: your best laid plans seem to be going a ride
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: and you just can't figure it out. I was sitting
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: up and somebody sent me this this morning, and then
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: it's entitled Release, and as I read it, I just
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: want to share with you the thought that I was
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: having when I was reading this thing called Release, and
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: it says, Heavenly Father, I release to you the burdens
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: that I have been carried, burdens that you never intended
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: for me to carry. You know what I read that.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: It meant something to me because a lot of the
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: stuff that's on us that we can around, hen't He
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: won't even intend for us to carry around. We just
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: canning around because we didn't took it upon ourselves to
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: worry about it. We didn't took it upon ourself that
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: this is now this albatross around our neck, when God
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: really didn't intend for that. You know, other people's problems
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: really ain't your problems. They can bring it to you,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: but that don't mean it's yours. So you end up
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: carrying around stuff that God never intended for you to carry,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: you know, like you hear your grandmama used to say,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: don't let other people put their trash in your trash can,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: because you need all that room for your trash. But
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: now you can around somebody else. Then it goes on
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to say, I cast all my cares upon you, all
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: my worries, all my fears. You have told me to
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: not be anxious about anything, but rather to bring everything
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: to you in prayer with thankfulness. Man, I have forgotten
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: about that, And when I read that, it reminded me
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: that I shouldn't be anxious about these deals. I'm working
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: on my next move, what I need to get done.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Why am I tripping about that? I don't know how
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: it's gonna turn out anyway. I'm anxious about something that
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: I actually have no control over. So I just consent
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: to me, Steve, just turn this over to who got
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: all this in control, and let him have it, and
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: be grateful for what you have. And then it says, Father,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: calm my relentless spirit, quiet, my anxious heart, still my
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: troubling thoughts, with the assurance that you are in control. Man,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Ain't that cool when you turned something over to God
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: and all of a sudden you have a calmness, a
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: quiet in the stillness, because you ain't got to wear
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: about it no more. Then it says, I let go
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: of my grip upon the things that have been I've
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: been hanging on too. With open hands, I come to you,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I release to you, and will all that I am
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: trying to manipulate. I release to you all that I'm
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: trying to manipulate. So if you let go of stuff,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: if you let go of a lot of stuff that
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: you're hanging on to, y'all, you can go to God
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: with open hands. If you go to God with open hands,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: he got something to feel now. But if you hanging
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: on and got a death grip on a whole bunch
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: of stuff that you can't do nothing about it, and
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: it's really meaningless, you ain't got room to receive what
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: he got for you. So I release to you all
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: that I am trying to manipulate. I release to you
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: your authority, all that I am trying to control. I
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: release to your timing all that I have been striving
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: to make happen. Everything I've been trying to make happen.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you make it happen. Everything I've been
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: wanting to happen at a certain time. I'm gonna let
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: that happen in your time. You do it in your time,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: when it's your will. For me, it's called release. Just
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: let it go, man, because you're tripping about stuff you
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: really can't control. That's an amazing thing. Then it says,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: I thank you for your promise to sustain me, because
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: that's his promise to sustain you, preserve me and God
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: all that I have entrusted to your keeping. So now
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: when you turn it over to God and you let
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: him have it, and you release this grip on this
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: stuff that you have no control over, and you ask
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: for his calmness and your quiet and you release everything
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: to him, guess what now, you can just trust that
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: you didn't put it in the right hands. You got
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: it in the best hand, so he gonna protect that.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Now he watching over it instead of you watching over it. Now,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: who would you rather had watching over something? You are God,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: protect my heart and mind with your peace, the peace
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: that passes all understanding. Father, May your will be done
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: in my life. That was powerful to me, man, And
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I read that this morning, and I said, Wow, I'm
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: gonna share that with everybody, because that really helped me today. Man,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: that it allowed me to let go of something, to
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: let go of stuff that I've been hanging on to
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: trying to make stuff happen. When there's so much stuff
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: that's out of my control. If you just let it go,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: turn it over to God and be all right with it,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: because he'd been having you, why would he not have this?
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: But we grab ourselves and we want to be a
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: part of it so much that we end up getting
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: in the way. So I asked that this will be
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: done in my life, in your time and in your way,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: however he want to do it, and whenever he want
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: to do it, I'm cool with that. Stop being anxious
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: for everything, y'all, step back, turn it over to God
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: and let him do it for all. Steve Harvey contests
