- 1:08Speaker 1: power couple is on the line. Had a little difficulty there.
- 1:12Speaker 1: They're both famous. They're both famous. They have a new
- 1:15Speaker 1: serious premier r TV one called We're the Campbell's. Now,
- 1:19Speaker 1: let me set the stage of what this is, because
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know people that reality shows, they immediately think it's
- 1:24Speaker 1: gonna be something crazy going on. Not this family. This
- 1:28Speaker 1: is not the Campbells. The Campbell's a great show, great couple,
- 1:31Speaker 1: great kids. The docuseents that follows gospel music power couple
- 1:35Speaker 1: Warren and Erica Campbell as they balance raising their family,
- 1:38Speaker 1: building their own individual empires, growing their flourishing church ministry,
- 1:43Speaker 1: and maintaining their strong faith marriage is two thousand and one.
- 1:47Speaker 1: That's way back then I first started managing Steve Harvey
- 1:50Speaker 1: to show would allowed viewers to follow Warren and Eric
- 1:52Speaker 1: as they manage their happi dating, luck, work schedule while
- 1:55Speaker 1: fostering a healthy marriage key right there, and raising three
- 1:58Speaker 1: children with the help of their group of family and friends.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Please welcome to Money Making Conversation Warren and Erica Campbell
- 2:06Speaker 1: the morning was Shane. Come on, now, I just tell it.
- 2:10Speaker 1: First of all, good morning back to everybody. I know
- 2:13Speaker 1: y'all on that West coast doing your thing. I now
- 2:15Speaker 1: you get up every morning doing Get Up Erica. That's
- 2:19Speaker 1: part of the Hector schedule that you was talking about, right,
- 2:22Speaker 1: It is absolutely a part of the schedule. So so Warren,
- 2:26Speaker 1: why she's getting up now? She's working earning money right there.
- 2:29Speaker 1: What you're doing, brother, what you're doing, Warren. So she's
- 2:32Speaker 1: getting up because I'm just now laying down from making
- 2:36Speaker 1: my money. So that's the beauty of this show. You
- 2:40Speaker 1: have your your successful ships that are passing in the night,
- 2:44Speaker 1: and at the same time you have to maintain a
- 2:47Speaker 1: healthy marriage and at the same time you have to
- 2:49Speaker 1: raise children. How does that accomplish and how is it
- 2:52Speaker 1: going to be shown on this show? We're the Campbell's. Well,
- 2:56Speaker 1: you know, I'll tell you one thing. It ain't easy.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And so you know when people say you gotta make
- 3:00Speaker 1: time for things, that's because you don't have time for things.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So the things we don't have time for, we absolutely
- 3:05Speaker 1: gotta make time for. We gotta make times for each other.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We're gotta make time out of the out of the
- 3:10Speaker 1: hundred and sixty eight hours in the week, you know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I gotta plan out how many hours I want to
- 3:14Speaker 1: steal with my wife, and how many hours wanna still
- 3:16Speaker 1: with my kids, and how many hours are gonna work.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So you know, if I look at it that way,
- 3:20Speaker 1: it's better than doing the day by day. I look
- 3:22Speaker 1: at the whole week and say how many hours I
- 3:23Speaker 1: can do certain things. And that's kind of how we
- 3:26Speaker 1: you know, we kind of planning at least I try to.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Now the key about this show, Erica, because you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: you were tied to yourself on a very successful show
- 3:35Speaker 1: on we TV. Now basically you're tied to your husband
- 3:38Speaker 1: and your family. It's all about your core group. What
- 3:42Speaker 1: is the value of doing another reality series for the business?
- 3:48Speaker 1: This one is all about family and um m my.
- 3:52Speaker 1: My husband often says, we only see broken families on television. True,
- 3:56Speaker 1: we don't usually get a chance to see a healthy,
- 3:58Speaker 1: strong husband, see husband's immaculated. We say, see women who
- 4:02Speaker 1: are the boss, you know, but we don't see God's
- 4:05Speaker 1: design your family, which is the husband is the head
- 4:08Speaker 1: and and everybody else is enjoying life and happy about it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So I'm I'm happy about that, and I'm happy to
- 4:15Speaker 1: offer another option to people. I know people have a
- 4:18Speaker 1: lot of options, and I feel like we are not
- 4:20Speaker 1: just the exception where reflection of what's happening. I grew
- 4:24Speaker 1: up with healthy families around me and my husband do too.
- 4:27Speaker 1: So when people say all black families are broken, I
- 4:29Speaker 1: can't emphatically say that's not true. That's really sad because
- 4:35Speaker 1: a lot of people believe that they believe with the
- 4:37Speaker 1: media tells us, you know, that's why you know? Um,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you know, I I just look at the way in
- 4:43Speaker 1: life and how you know, young African American male or
- 4:47Speaker 1: me myself, Hey, cops of me, I'm nervous and because
- 4:51Speaker 1: of my car, and I feel that when I look
- 4:54Speaker 1: at shows like this and I'm excited to be on
- 4:56Speaker 1: TV Want Premier and Tuesday on TV one were the camels.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I'm on of one with Eric and Warren Campbell. Uh
- 5:02Speaker 1: the successful couple, entrepreneur couple, a couple who have a
- 5:06Speaker 1: healthy relationship. You're not gonna see, you know, uh, spankings
- 5:10Speaker 1: and they're not gonna see nobody climbing across the dinner
- 5:13Speaker 1: table talking about it. You're not gonna see no FFing
- 5:15Speaker 1: and all that kind of words going left and right
- 5:17Speaker 1: on the show, because that is not reality, that's not
- 5:19Speaker 1: the world. And I'm tired of that. I'm tired. I'm tired.
- 5:25Speaker 1: We are to come on now, it's time to change
- 5:28Speaker 1: the channel. Come on now, change the challenge to the
- 5:31Speaker 1: cabls where in the campus and channel, the TV one
- 5:37Speaker 1: you you you gotta not more supporter here in Rashan
- 5:40Speaker 1: McDonald I said, I think they said they're busy, they
- 5:43Speaker 1: said they'd be Just give me, just give me ten
- 5:45Speaker 1: minutes something. Just give me ten minutes so I can
- 5:48Speaker 1: grab that tim minutes. Put it on my podcast, put
- 5:50Speaker 1: it on my serious XM channel, so I can. I
- 5:52Speaker 1: want you to send me some bands. Everybody call this show.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I gotta request the ban up because I want to
- 5:57Speaker 1: promote it on my social media because that's how you win.
- 6:00Speaker 1: End team. I just let everybody know, that's what money
- 6:02Speaker 1: making conversations about. You have a brand. And Erica no,
- 6:06Speaker 1: she warrant you in my life. Now. See Warren, you're
- 6:09Speaker 1: part of the Rushan McDonald club. Now because eric have
- 6:11Speaker 1: been in the club. She knows that she's been in
- 6:15Speaker 1: this club. You know what I'm talking about. We set
- 6:17Speaker 1: up in restaurant. Just just not asking about no commity,
- 6:20Speaker 1: what you're doing, Erica? What do I need to do
- 6:22Speaker 1: to make you successful? And that's me, my man, that's me.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That's what this show is all about. So just and
- 6:28Speaker 1: just give people a little nugget about what the premier
- 6:30Speaker 1: is gonna look like so we can get them excited.
- 6:32Speaker 1: And it's gonna be every Tuesday or TV one. Were
- 6:35Speaker 1: the Camels your turn? Warrant do your thing? Brod's a
- 6:38Speaker 1: producing right now. Well, you know, you don't see a
- 6:42Speaker 1: lot you're gonna see. Uh, you know, me and my
- 6:45Speaker 1: wife kind of struggle to make times for each other
- 6:47Speaker 1: while there's a there's a big award show going on,
- 6:50Speaker 1: and I'm dealing with all of my artists and and
- 6:52Speaker 1: she is like the most successful artists that I have
- 6:54Speaker 1: in my at my label. But then I have all
- 6:56Speaker 1: these other baby acts that you know what we're working with. Man.
- 6:59Speaker 1: We to see the struggle between me and my younger sister,
- 7:02Speaker 1: who is also an R and B artist, to her
- 7:05Speaker 1: feeling like she's not having enough time for my time.
- 7:08Speaker 1: So it's a lot you my head, where my heads in?
- 7:13Speaker 1: Where's my album coming out? You'll also see the love
- 7:17Speaker 1: check in, Rashaan. You'll see us take time, um to
- 7:20Speaker 1: make sure that we're good. You know, sometimes you're flowing
- 7:23Speaker 1: and going and making money, but you gotta make sure
- 7:25Speaker 1: that you've got a healthy sex life in the middle
- 7:27Speaker 1: of all of this as well. Absolutely, man, Absolutely, I'm
- 7:31Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. Here's the deal about this show
- 7:34Speaker 1: coming out is that it's on the African American network,
- 7:38Speaker 1: which is TV one, a powerful African American couple. And
- 7:41Speaker 1: that's why I brought up the fact that you know,
- 7:44Speaker 1: they work for a living. That's the cool thing about
- 7:46Speaker 1: this show. A lot of times, you know, a lot
- 7:47Speaker 1: of realities shows people living in houses they don't really
- 7:51Speaker 1: live in. They're doing they're not even working, you know
- 7:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying, They're living off somebody else's in call.
- 7:56Speaker 1: They We're gonna actually see you guys earning a living
- 8:00Speaker 1: and how you earn a living, and how you take
- 8:02Speaker 1: that that brand and and and and and expand on it.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And that's where I think it's really key to this show.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Correct Yeah, yeah, yeah, But it's all about expanding the brand, man,
- 8:14Speaker 1: And it's as wide and deep as you can. And
- 8:17Speaker 1: so when you when you do this show, how many
- 8:20Speaker 1: episodes have y'all taped for this season and it's just
- 8:23Speaker 1: gonna be just a summer show or uh, you know,
- 8:26Speaker 1: the how's it going to work out of just being
- 8:28Speaker 1: summer show because it's only nine episodes on this segame
- 8:32Speaker 1: and uh and then you know, if we get another one,
- 8:34Speaker 1: hopefully we'll do ad maybe one or two more to
- 8:37Speaker 1: you now some of the artists. Just let everybody know
- 8:40Speaker 1: some of the artists that you've worked with producers excuse me,
- 8:43Speaker 1: um not different artists and make the late great Luther
- 8:46Speaker 1: Van Jos one of one of them are Kanye West
- 8:50Speaker 1: Snoop Dogs, How you go from? And how you Gonna
- 8:52Speaker 1: go from? Luther Van draws the Kanye West. If that
- 8:55Speaker 1: ain't an extreme, extreme separation of talent, Yeah, I just
- 9:04Speaker 1: stop you, man, because brilliant for whatever we just talked
- 9:07Speaker 1: about Kanye West off the mic. On the mic, now
- 9:13Speaker 1: he is He's one of the best and the one
- 9:14Speaker 1: of the greatest to ever do it. Uh, you know,
- 9:17Speaker 1: And and it's a constant puzzle to figure out, you know,
- 9:20Speaker 1: as a person. But you know, that's that's how we
- 9:22Speaker 1: like our superstars. We love trying to figure out Michael
- 9:25Speaker 1: Jackson trying to figure out what Prince was doing. You
- 9:27Speaker 1: know that that's just and and if you're a smart artist,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you understand that if you give people a puzzle to
- 9:33Speaker 1: figure out and they just give them, you know, stuff
- 9:35Speaker 1: that they're understand all the time. That's what a lot
- 9:37Speaker 1: of great artists do. Now, I wanted to before we
- 9:39Speaker 1: grab up the interview. The great thing about a show
- 9:42Speaker 1: like this is that it basically as an info commercial,
- 9:45Speaker 1: allows you to talk about other brands because you're doing
- 9:47Speaker 1: some other things besides get up as well. Eric correct, absolutely, Um,
- 9:53Speaker 1: I have my hairline Erica about Erica Campbell. I'm also
- 9:57Speaker 1: writing a book called More Than Pretty. Um. You know,
- 10:00Speaker 1: me and Warner are are creating festivals and events and
- 10:03Speaker 1: stuff you know here like so we just we have
- 10:06Speaker 1: our church as well and three young children to take
- 10:09Speaker 1: up probably most of our times. So it is a lot,
- 10:12Speaker 1: but they're all enjoy to do. There's something that we
- 10:14Speaker 1: all enjoy. So I'm excited about what we're doing. Well,
- 10:17Speaker 1: here's the deal tomorrow I have Eric and Warren came
- 10:20Speaker 1: on the phone. Thank you for calling that team. I
- 10:22Speaker 1: need a banner. Tell your your press people, give ra
- 10:24Speaker 1: Sean McDonald barning so I can put it on all
- 10:26Speaker 1: my Facebook or money making conversation platform as well as
- 10:29Speaker 1: my personal fan platform. Got almost a million follows, so
- 10:32Speaker 1: I can touch a lot of people. Much success. Uh,
- 10:35Speaker 1: whatever y'all do. Church Wise, those festivals you mentioned, you
- 10:38Speaker 1: know about the hairline, give me your banner you know, Erica,
- 10:41Speaker 1: I believe in you. Warren, Welcome to the family, brother
- 10:44Speaker 1: and what's your most success? Thank you, absolutely absolutely we'll
