- 0:00Speaker 1: We gather today to honor the incredible service members who
- 0:04Speaker 1: rest in glory in this cemetery and burial grounds around
- 0:08Speaker 1: the world, and in a thousand lonely places known only
- 0:11Speaker 1: to God. And every hour apparel and every moment of crisis,
- 0:14Speaker 1: American warriors have left behind the blessings of home and
- 0:18Speaker 1: family to answer their nation's call. They've offered all that
- 0:22Speaker 1: they had within them and given their last breaths to
- 0:25Speaker 1: each and every one of us, that we might live
- 0:28Speaker 1: safe and breathe free. We share in the sorrow of
- 0:32Speaker 1: their beloved families, and as one nation, we give thanks
- 0:36Speaker 1: for the ultimate gift they have so selflessly given to
- 0:39Speaker 1: all of us. They gave everything, and we owe them
- 0:43Speaker 1: everything and.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Much much for you're listening to the forty seven Morning
- 0:48Speaker 2: Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Good Monday morning. It's so nice to have you with
- 0:51Speaker 3: us on this Memorial Day. On the forty seven Morning Updating,
- 0:54Speaker 3: we just want to take a moment and say thank
- 0:56Speaker 3: you to all of the men and women that fight,
- 0:58Speaker 3: protect and defend this country that wear a badge, and
- 1:02Speaker 3: for all the families today that are mourning the loss
- 1:05Speaker 3: and remembering those that have fought for this country. There
- 1:09Speaker 3: are so many people that just think, yo, it's a
- 1:11Speaker 3: day off. Well, for many families, they're going to visit
- 1:14Speaker 3: the grave sites of their loved ones who fought to
- 1:17Speaker 3: protect and defend this country. So I will say it again,
- 1:21Speaker 3: thank you for all of you they're protect and defend us,
- 1:24Speaker 3: And for all the families that are listening right now
- 1:26Speaker 3: that have lost a loved one. God bless you and
- 1:28Speaker 3: your sacrifice. That sacrifice is something we will never forget. Here,
- 1:33Speaker 3: I want you to pause what you're doing for just
- 1:36Speaker 3: one minute, and I want you to hear about Alexandra.
- 1:39Speaker 3: She lives in a remote community with very few resources
- 1:43Speaker 3: and little to no healthcare. So when Alexandra gets sick,
- 1:47Speaker 3: her parents have no real options, no doctors in their community,
- 1:52Speaker 3: and no money for real medical care. By the third day,
- 1:56Speaker 3: her body was shutting down. She woke up and just
- 1:59Speaker 3: long enough to tell her mom, I can't take the
- 2:02Speaker 3: pain anymore. I can't keep going. Her parents drove hours
- 2:07Speaker 3: to find a doctor who tried everything, but she needed
- 2:11Speaker 3: a private hospital and that was impossible for her family
- 2:15Speaker 3: to afford. And that is when Compassion International stepped in.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Now through Compassion, Alejandra was treated and against all odds.
- 2:24Speaker 3: She survived. She lived because someone just like you took action.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Right now, Unfortunately, there are children just like Alexandra who
- 2:34Speaker 3: won't survive unless someone like you steps in. Compassion International
- 2:39Speaker 3: partners with local churches, providing children with the support that
- 2:43Speaker 3: they need, critical medical care, plus food, education, and the
- 2:48Speaker 3: hope of the gospel, all in Jesus's name. So help
- 2:53Speaker 3: a child just like Alexandra. Today you can visit Compassion
- 2:58Speaker 3: dot com. That's dot com. It's the forty seven Morning
- 3:02Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:05Speaker 3: According to statements tied to the Department of Homeland Security,
- 3:09Speaker 3: illegal aliens are responsible for roughly half I'm gonna say again,
- 3:14Speaker 3: roughly half of all the murders this year in Fairfax County, Virginia. Now,
- 3:20Speaker 3: that is one of the wealthiest and most politically powerful
- 3:24Speaker 3: counties in America. It's in essence a suburb of Washington,
- 3:28Speaker 3: d C. We're not talking about some struggling border town
- 3:31Speaker 3: overwhelmed overnight by cartel violence. We're talking about Fairfax County,
- 3:36Speaker 3: an affluent, liberal county in Virginia that neighbors Washington, d C.
- 3:42Speaker 3: This is home to federal contractors, intelligence officials, lawyers, diplomats,
- 3:48Speaker 3: tech executives, and some of the highest medium household incomes
- 3:52Speaker 3: in all of the United States of America. This is
- 3:54Speaker 3: the affluent Northern Virginia suburb. This is the backyard of
- 3:59Speaker 3: our federal government itself. And now this country has become
- 4:03Speaker 3: the center of a bigger problem for Democrats. And that
- 4:07Speaker 3: is how did they even get to this point. You've
- 4:10Speaker 3: got a major, growing national firestorm over legal immigration, over
- 4:15Speaker 3: violent crime, over sanctuary city and sanctuary policies, and whether
- 4:19Speaker 3: political leaders are deliberately ignoring repeated warnings until innocent Americans
- 4:24Speaker 3: end up dead. Now, the controversy exploded after the Department
- 4:28Speaker 3: of Own Security officials told the truths. They highlighted murder
- 4:31Speaker 3: cases involving illegal immigrants in Fairfax County during a heated
- 4:36Speaker 3: house hearing this week. And that is when the new
- 4:39Speaker 3: head of the Department of Owned Security, Mark Wayne Mullen,
- 4:41Speaker 3: came out to tell the American people exactly what's going on.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Roughly fifty percent of the murders in Fairfax, Virginia, the
- 4:49Speaker 4: purpose are illegal shouldn't even be in the country of us.
- 4:52Speaker 4: We have, you know, politicians that want to protect the criminals.
- 4:55Speaker 4: President Trump is still protecting all our neighborhoods.
- 4:58Speaker 3: You listen to him saying that they're protecting all neighborhoods.
- 5:03Speaker 3: How is it even possible that you can have fifty
- 5:06Speaker 3: percent of murders in Fairfax County, nowhere close to the
- 5:10Speaker 3: border happen and be killed Americans be killed by illegal
- 5:14Speaker 3: immigrants now, According to DHS link figures cited during the debate,
- 5:18Speaker 3: not only is that one of the biggest problems, but
- 5:21Speaker 3: they also say in some cases, officials reference it being
- 5:24Speaker 3: even higher, as has seventy five percent of the murders
- 5:27Speaker 3: in Fairfax County so far this year. Those numbers are
- 5:31Speaker 3: being debated, of course politically. Now, regardless of where you
- 5:35Speaker 3: stand on this issue, the individual cases now drawing national
- 5:38Speaker 3: attention are horrifying. One of the most shocking involved an
- 5:42Speaker 3: illegal immigrant from Sierra Leone who was accused of brutally
- 5:45Speaker 3: murdering a forty one year old seventy mentor at a
- 5:49Speaker 3: Fairfax County bus stop earlier this year. The details should
- 5:53Speaker 3: infuriate everyone. According to the reports, the girl had been
- 5:57Speaker 3: or the man. I should say, the illegal immigrant had
- 5:59Speaker 3: been around tested roughly thirty times before the murder. Let
- 6:03Speaker 3: me say that again thirty times, thirty encounters with the
- 6:07Speaker 3: justice system with law enforcement charges ranging from assault to
- 6:12Speaker 3: wounding and other violent allegations, and yet somehow that illegal
- 6:17Speaker 3: immigrant remained on the streets because the sanctuary city policies
- 6:21Speaker 3: in Virginia. Federal immigration authorities had reportedly loged detainers against
- 6:25Speaker 3: him earlier in the year, police repeatedly warned prosecutors that
- 6:30Speaker 3: he was a major dangerous society and still, according to
- 6:34Speaker 3: the reporting, he was not removed from the country and
- 6:37Speaker 3: allowed back on the streets. Then came the deadly stabbing
- 6:40Speaker 3: that shocked the community, and many Americans are asking the
- 6:43Speaker 3: very simple question, how does someone get arrested thirty times
- 6:47Speaker 3: and remain free in the United States America, even if
- 6:49Speaker 3: you're not an illegal immigrant? That question is now at
- 6:52Speaker 3: the center of this massive political and legal battle that's
- 6:55Speaker 3: unfolding in northern Virginia. Now. Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney is
- 6:59Speaker 3: a progressive prosecutor backed you guessed it, by George Soros
- 7:04Speaker 3: and the left wing criminal justice reform movements. He's now
- 7:08Speaker 3: under federal investigation by the Department of Justice over allegations
- 7:12Speaker 3: that his office may have been giving preferential treatment deliberately
- 7:16Speaker 3: to illegal immigrant defendants. In other words, the system was
- 7:20Speaker 3: going harder on American citizens and looking the other way
- 7:23Speaker 3: when they caught in illegal In one case, in particular,
- 7:27Speaker 3: two illegal immigrant defendants accused in Fairfax County of murder,
- 7:31Speaker 3: they received plea agreements that resulted only five years behind bars,
- 7:35Speaker 3: despite facing much deeper potential sentences. The Department of Home
- 7:39Speaker 3: Insecurity blasted the deal publicly calling it an insane sweetheart
- 7:43Speaker 3: plea deal. Now, the language from DHS lit up conservatives
- 7:47Speaker 3: on Capitol Hill, as it should have. Critics say, these
- 7:50Speaker 3: policies are creating exactly the kind of environment where repeat
- 7:54Speaker 3: defenders believe there are no consequences even if arrested thirty times.
- 7:58Speaker 3: So here we are. Fifty percent of murders in Fairfax County,
- 8:02Speaker 3: Virginia are by people that are illegal, that shouldn't even
- 8:06Speaker 3: be in this country in the first place. The Trump
- 8:09Speaker 3: administration making it clear they're not backing down on this
- 8:14Speaker 3: and expect more justice.
- 8:16Speaker 2: To come now. Story number two.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Democrats, if you listen carefully, will always tell you exactly
- 8:24Speaker 3: what their plan is. Now. In the olden days, Barack
- 8:27Speaker 3: Obama didn't actually tell you he was a socialist. He
- 8:30Speaker 3: just said that we wanted hope and change, and he
- 8:32Speaker 3: would dress it up in a different way. Bill Clinton,
- 8:35Speaker 3: for example, didn't tell you that he wanted there to
- 8:37Speaker 3: be massive expansion of government. Instead, he said that we
- 8:41Speaker 3: needed to make government smaller but also take care of
- 8:44Speaker 3: the poor. Translation, a massive increase in the number of
- 8:48Speaker 3: people on food stamps and government ad But in twenty
- 8:51Speaker 3: twenty six, the Democratic Party is no longer holding back
- 8:56Speaker 3: how much disdain they have for the government of the
- 8:59Speaker 3: United to America, which oddly enough, they are a part of.
- 9:02Speaker 3: They don't like that the government has checks and balances.
- 9:06Speaker 3: They don't like that the government has different branches in
- 9:09Speaker 3: it that they cannot control that actually keeps other individuals
- 9:14Speaker 3: in our government in check. In other words, they don't
- 9:18Speaker 3: like it when they're told no. And so when they
- 9:21Speaker 3: are told no, they now are saying what they really
- 9:24Speaker 3: believe out loud that when they don't get their way,
- 9:28Speaker 3: they want to destroy and completely alter and change the
- 9:32Speaker 3: United States of America's government. That would also mean that
- 9:35Speaker 3: you would get rid of our constitution, you would get
- 9:39Speaker 3: rid of our Bill of Rights, you would get rid
- 9:41Speaker 3: of anything that actually stands in their way of power. Now,
- 9:45Speaker 3: Kamala Harris is dressing it up, saying it a little
- 9:48Speaker 3: bit differently, saying that we need to have big and
- 9:50Speaker 3: bold conversations and have these strategy thinking sessions. But I
- 9:56Speaker 3: want you to listen to what she actually said. Now
- 9:58Speaker 3: this was put out online, and I want you to
- 10:01Speaker 3: listen to Kamala Harris talk about destroying our government all
- 10:05Speaker 3: because Donald Trump and other conservatives have been elected and
- 10:10Speaker 3: they don't like it.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Say, look, this is a moment where there are no
- 10:14Speaker 5: bad ideas, no bad idea.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Brainstorm is what I'd like to call it.
- 10:18Speaker 5: And in that no bad ideas brainstorm, we talk about
- 10:22Speaker 5: what we need to do and think about doing around
- 10:25Speaker 5: the electoral College.
- 10:26Speaker 6: We talk about the idea of Supreme Court reform, which
- 10:30Speaker 6: includes expanding the Supreme Court. We invite a conversation about
- 10:35Speaker 6: multi members districts. We talk about, look that if we
- 10:40Speaker 6: win the Senate, which we should and we will, then
- 10:43Speaker 6: the Senate Judiciary Committee should have rules that they put
- 10:47Speaker 6: in place so when these people come before as nominees
- 10:51Speaker 6: to the Supreme Court and lie, that they are held
- 10:54Speaker 6: to account and consequence, not just that somebody goes on
- 10:58Speaker 6: cable news and says they lie, but that there are
- 11:01Speaker 6: rules in place to actually penalize people for lying to
- 11:05Speaker 6: a Senate Judiciary committee.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Now let's just pause there. Let's go through the list
- 11:10Speaker 3: of people that we know have lied to Congress. Guy
- 11:13Speaker 3: by the name of Anthony Fauci, former FBI director, James Comy,
- 11:17Speaker 3: former CIA director John Brennan, the list, James Clapper. The
- 11:21Speaker 3: list goes on and on of individuals that have lied
- 11:25Speaker 3: before Congress. Now they have not been held accountable for
- 11:28Speaker 3: the lies, whether it's dealing with COVID, whether it's majorcis
- 11:32Speaker 3: lying to Congress saying the border is secure when he
- 11:35Speaker 3: knew that there were millions of people coming across the
- 11:38Speaker 3: border illegally. The number of people that Kamala Harris in
- 11:41Speaker 3: her party that have lied to Congress, to Steele dossier,
- 11:45Speaker 3: Russian collusion, the impeachment of Donald Trump one and two
- 11:50Speaker 3: Adam Schiff is a great example. These are all individuals
- 11:55Speaker 3: that have gone before Congress and that have lied before that.
- 11:59Speaker 3: She says we need to be held accountable. But to
- 12:01Speaker 3: be clear, she's not saying they need to be held accountable.
- 12:03Speaker 3: She's saying, we want to accuse any Republican that disagree
- 12:07Speaker 3: with it comes before Congress of lying to Congress, and
- 12:10Speaker 3: then we can silence them. There was also something else
- 12:13Speaker 3: she said. It was very interesting. She said, we need
- 12:14Speaker 3: to talk about the electoral college translation, get rid of it.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Why because she wants the presidency to be picked by California,
- 12:23Speaker 3: by la by New York, by Chicago. She doesn't want
- 12:27Speaker 3: states like North Dakota, South Dakota, or many of the
- 12:30Speaker 3: southern states like Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina to
- 12:34Speaker 3: have power. She certainly doesn't want states like Iowa New
- 12:37Speaker 3: Hampshire to have any power who the president of the
- 12:40Speaker 3: United States of America actually is. She wants to change
- 12:44Speaker 3: it all so that liberal cities will control who the
- 12:48Speaker 3: president is every presidential election cycle. She wants the presidency
- 12:53Speaker 3: to be come down to where if you're a Democrat,
- 12:55Speaker 3: you only really have to campaign in five or six cities,
- 12:59Speaker 3: not even states, just five or six cities in America
- 13:03Speaker 3: because the population is sodents there. You can just win
- 13:05Speaker 3: election by getting the majority of those people to vote
- 13:08Speaker 3: for you. She wants to have the majority of the
- 13:10Speaker 3: country be fly over country. But she's not done there.
- 13:14Speaker 3: And this is again all because Donald Trump was elected
- 13:17Speaker 3: president and she hates the majority of American voters in
- 13:20Speaker 3: this last election. Keep listening to her radical ideas.
- 13:24Speaker 7: That we agree that it is right to have ethics
- 13:28Speaker 7: rules for Supreme Court justices, and let's put those in place.
- 13:33Speaker 7: Let's talk about statehood for Puerto Rico and DC.
- 13:36Speaker 6: These are the things I think that we've got to do.
- 13:39Speaker 8: We've got to neutralize these red states from cheating, including
- 13:44Speaker 8: blue states expanding their maps and all of this I
- 13:48Speaker 8: think is, Look, we gotta fight fire with fire.
- 13:52Speaker 6: These folks are playing and win. We gotta play to win.
- 13:54Speaker 3: We've got to fight fire with fire. We have to
- 13:57Speaker 3: play to win. Now, these are the words of an
- 14:00Speaker 3: individual who knows that President Trump has had multiple assassination
- 14:04Speaker 3: attempts against him. She doesn't care. She wants to incite
- 14:07Speaker 3: that type of anger and violence. But you also notice
- 14:10Speaker 3: what she said about she wants her to be two
- 14:12Speaker 3: sinators from Washington d C. And two senators from Puerto
- 14:15Speaker 3: Rico because she believes it easily and based on the
- 14:19Speaker 3: makeup Washington d C would immediately elect two Democratic senaters,
- 14:24Speaker 3: and she believes at Puerto Rico they could probably do
- 14:26Speaker 3: a very good job there and get at least maybe one,
- 14:28Speaker 3: if not two of those sinaters to go for the
- 14:31Speaker 3: Democrats as well. And she very well may be right.
- 14:34Speaker 3: But you notice what she's talking about here, it's about
- 14:36Speaker 3: stacking the deck. And by the way, you notice she
- 14:40Speaker 3: mentioned in there she would like to redo how we
- 14:42Speaker 3: do the Supreme Court. Why would she want to redo
- 14:47Speaker 3: how we do the Supreme Court. It's a very simple answer.
- 14:51Speaker 3: She wants to redo the Supreme Court. Every time they
- 14:54Speaker 3: give her a ruling that she doesn't like, she wants
- 14:57Speaker 3: to go after and attack those Supreme Court justice maybe
- 15:00Speaker 3: get them kicked off the court. And if that is
- 15:02Speaker 3: not enough, then she wants to pack the court. And
- 15:05Speaker 3: every time she needs to make it bigger, then they
- 15:08Speaker 3: would just make it bigger. And every time that the
- 15:12Speaker 3: Supreme Court needs to get even bigger to give them
- 15:15Speaker 3: what they want, they just want it to get bigger again.
- 15:18Speaker 3: So no longer would it be nine. It could be fifteen,
- 15:20Speaker 3: and it can be twenty one, then it can be
- 15:21Speaker 3: twenty nine, then it can be thirty five. Where would
- 15:24Speaker 3: it stop. As long as they have power, that's all
- 15:28Speaker 3: they really want is more of the power. So this
- 15:31Speaker 3: is the Democratic Party. They're saying it out loud Believe
- 15:36Speaker 3: them when they tell you this is what they believe.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Believe them when they tell you that they want to
- 15:44Speaker 3: destroy this country because Kama Harris just laid out their
- 15:47Speaker 3: entire game plan.
