- 0:01Speaker 1: Hunter Biden plea deal, not pleads not guilty after plea
- 0:05Speaker 1: deal is derailed, and now the media reacting shocked by
- 0:10Speaker 1: the fact that the president now could be opened back
- 0:12Speaker 1: up to investigations. All this because the lawyers of Hunter
- 0:16Speaker 1: Biden misled in the essence lied to the court the
- 0:19Speaker 1: sweetheart deal which would shield Hunter Biden from any future prosecution.
- 0:24Speaker 1: The judge said, when did you put that in there?
- 0:26Speaker 1: That was not supposed to be in there. I don't
- 0:28Speaker 1: feel comfortable with that. In other words, no, you're not
- 0:31Speaker 1: getting this deal, at least at this point in my
- 0:33Speaker 1: court room, the judge refusing to accept the Hunter Biden
- 0:37Speaker 1: plea deal. Here's how Lester Holt described it on NBC News.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Room's surprised for President Biden's son, Hunter, who was widely
- 0:45Speaker 2: expected to walk out of a court today with most
- 0:47Speaker 2: of his legal troubles behind him. Instead, the younger Biden
- 0:51Speaker 2: saw his plea arrangement with the government over tax charges
- 0:55Speaker 2: crumble when the judge challenged some of the terms of
- 0:57Speaker 2: the deal, including a constitutional question, telling the two sides
- 1:01Speaker 2: she cannot accept or reject the plea agreement. The upshot
- 1:06Speaker 2: instead of pleading guilty to failing to pay his taxes
- 1:08Speaker 2: for two years. As the arrangement called for Hunter Biden
- 1:12Speaker 2: pled not guilty to the charges, the two sides ordered
- 1:16Speaker 2: to provide the court with more information. Hunter Biden has
- 1:19Speaker 2: been a frequent target of President Biden's political adversaries, with
- 1:23Speaker 2: many calling the Hunter Plea agreement a sweetheart deal. Ryan
- 1:27Speaker 2: Nobles has details.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Hunter Biden entered a federal courthouse today hoping to bring
- 1:32Speaker 3: to an end his legal problems. It did not turn
- 1:35Speaker 3: out that way. Tonight, in a stunning move, a federal
- 1:39Speaker 3: judge refusing to sign off on his controversial plea deal,
- 1:43Speaker 3: Judge Mary Ellen Norieika, a Trump appointee, saying the agreement
- 1:47Speaker 3: contained atypical provisions and she needed more information, telling the
- 1:51Speaker 3: lawyer's quote, I am not in a position to accept
- 1:54Speaker 3: or reject this plea agreement, so I'm going to defer it.
- 1:57Speaker 3: At one point, as the deal was unraveling, Biden's attorney declaring, quote,
- 2:01Speaker 3: will rip it up while prosecutors revealing their investigation into
- 2:05Speaker 3: Hunter Biden is ongoing, and the deal would only absolve
- 2:09Speaker 3: Hunter of legal issues between twenty fourteen and twenty nineteen,
- 2:13Speaker 3: and only on drugs, taxes, and firearms charges. Hunter Biden
- 2:17Speaker 3: today pleading not guilty to the tax charges. The delay
- 2:20Speaker 3: in the case a further political headache for the White House.
- 2:23Speaker 4: This case was handled independently, as all of you know,
- 2:27Speaker 4: by the Justice Department, under the leadership of a prosecutor
- 2:30Speaker 4: appointed by the former President Trump.
- 2:33Speaker 3: The original plea agreement, sparking outrage from Republicans, blasting it
- 2:37Speaker 3: as a sweetheart deal for the President's son which allowed
- 2:40Speaker 3: him to avoid prison time. The Attorney General has said
- 2:43Speaker 3: that US Attorney David Weiss has full authority to bring
- 2:46Speaker 3: whatever charges he wanted, but two IRS investigators turned whistleblowers
- 2:51Speaker 3: recently told Congress that was not true.
- 2:54Speaker 5: It appeared to me, based on what I experienced, that
- 2:56Speaker 5: the US attorney in Delaware in our investigation was constantly hamstrong,
- 3:01Speaker 5: limited and marginalized by DOJ officials as well as other
- 3:05Speaker 5: US attorneys.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Meanwhile, Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings at the center of
- 3:09Speaker 3: House Republicans growing investigations into the president that could lead
- 3:13Speaker 3: to an impeachment inquiry.
- 3:15Speaker 6: Impeachment inquiry is allowing Congress to get the information.
- 3:19Speaker 3: The President has repeatedly denied he spoke to his son
- 3:22Speaker 3: about his businesses. So far, the GOP providing no evidence
- 3:26Speaker 3: of wrongdoing, and Hunter Biden also at the center of
- 3:29Speaker 3: another controversy, with President Biden facing criticism for not publicly
- 3:34Speaker 3: acknowledging his seventh grandchild, Hunter's daughter.
- 3:37Speaker 7: I have six grandchildren and I'm crazy about them.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Hunter Biden and the child's mother recently concluded a legal dispute.
- 3:45Speaker 3: The White House has declined to discuss the issue.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So Ryan, let's circle back to that surprising court hearing today.
- 3:51Speaker 2: What happens now in all this, Well.
- 3:53Speaker 3: The judge is given the two sides thirty days to
- 3:56Speaker 3: work out an agreement that would satisfy her concerns. And
- 3:59Speaker 3: this comes as the US Attorney David Weiss, who has
- 4:02Speaker 3: disputed the claims of those irs whistleblowers, has offered to
- 4:05Speaker 3: testify in front of Congress later this fall.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So you look at this now, and you see this,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and now it's you can see how the media is
- 4:14Speaker 1: covering it. Right, They're totally changing. They just mentioned it's
- 4:16Speaker 1: a sweetheart deal. They just said this thing blew up
- 4:19Speaker 1: in their face. They just said that this is a
- 4:22Speaker 1: bad day for the family. Right, This is a very,
- 4:25Speaker 1: very very bad day for not just Hunter Biden, but
- 4:29Speaker 1: also Joe Biden and what this could now open up.
- 4:33Speaker 8: MSNBC.
- 4:34Speaker 1: However, they said they this was a gift and they
- 4:40Speaker 1: said this is not a bad thing. This morning trying
- 4:43Speaker 1: to spend this and I expect that from MSNBC. Their
- 4:47Speaker 1: audience doesn't want to hear anything bad about the Bidens,
- 4:50Speaker 1: So they're going to keep lying to their audience if
- 4:52Speaker 1: they have to.
- 4:54Speaker 8: They are.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You know Claire mccaskell, for example, last night, she went
- 4:57Speaker 1: on TV and offended the Biden saying, everybody stop picking
- 5:02Speaker 1: on this guy who's just addicted to drugs, right, like,
- 5:06Speaker 1: be nice to them. Former White House Press Secretary hosting
- 5:10Speaker 1: in primetime last night, sitting in for Chris A's had
- 5:13Speaker 1: mccaskal on and this is the best way they could
- 5:15Speaker 1: screw They could skew this or try to manipulate the
- 5:19Speaker 1: reality of this court date.
- 5:20Speaker 9: Listen, you gave me a perfect transition to ask you
- 5:23Speaker 9: to put your political hat now on, Clara, because what
- 5:26Speaker 9: I'm curious about is what you will be watching over
- 5:29Speaker 9: the next couple of days. I mean, hunter Biden is
- 5:31Speaker 9: a favorite target of Republicans in the House. Republicans from
- 5:36Speaker 9: the Trump wing of the party and others. What accusations
- 5:39Speaker 9: and arguments. Do you think they're going to make given
- 5:42Speaker 9: this didn't go exactly as planned today, Well, they're going.
- 5:45Speaker 7: To keep doing what they've been doing. They are going
- 5:48Speaker 7: to try to indict a father for loving his son
- 5:51Speaker 7: who has been addicted to drugs and or alcohol.
- 5:55Speaker 1: And did you hear that they're going to try to
- 5:57Speaker 1: indict a father for loving his son who has been
- 6:02Speaker 1: addicted to drugs and or alcohol? Before I play this, Look,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you did the tough thing during COVID. You paid your
- 6:09Speaker 1: people and pulled your business through the pandemic, and now
- 6:12Speaker 1: doing the tough thing could qualify you for a twenty
- 6:16Speaker 1: six thousand dollars per employee at COVID tax Relief dot org.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Government funds are available to reward companies with two or
- 6:24Speaker 1: more employees who stayed open during COVID. This is not
- 6:29Speaker 1: a loan and you don't have to pay it back. Look,
- 6:32Speaker 1: this program is complicated, but nobody knows more about it
- 6:35Speaker 1: than the CPAs and tax experts at Consumer Tax Advocates.
- 6:39Speaker 1: The best part is you pay nothing upfront. They do
- 6:42Speaker 1: all the work, and then they share percentage of cash
- 6:45Speaker 1: that you get. Businesses of all types, including nonprofits, and
- 6:48Speaker 1: churches can qualify, including those who took PBP loans. Even
- 6:52Speaker 1: if you had increases in sales, you did the tough
- 6:56Speaker 1: thing for your employees during COVID.
- 6:58Speaker 8: Let COVID tax Relief.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Dot org help get you up to twenty six thousand
- 7:03Speaker 1: dollars per employee the COVID tax Relief dot Org. That's
- 7:07Speaker 1: COVID tax Relief dot org. COVID tax Relief dot org.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now listen carefully. She's going to tell you there's no
- 7:15Speaker 1: evidence connecting Joe Biden to any of the Biden crime
- 7:20Speaker 1: family crimes.
- 7:21Speaker 8: Like you know, the millions of dollars is somehow just
- 7:24Speaker 8: not real.
- 7:24Speaker 7: Listen to this and without evidence of the father doing
- 7:28Speaker 7: anything other than loving that son, and that I think
- 7:32Speaker 7: doesn't fly with most of the American people. And they
- 7:35Speaker 7: fly within that small calcified circle of the Trumpers who
- 7:40Speaker 7: want to make want to believe that somehow Joe Biden
- 7:44Speaker 7: was involved in nefarious dealings.
- 7:46Speaker 6: But there's no evidence.
- 7:48Speaker 7: And believe me, if there was evidence, Durham, who was
- 7:51Speaker 7: left in place, as you pointed out, by President Biden,
- 7:53Speaker 7: would have found it, and certainly Weiss, who was left
- 7:56Speaker 7: in place by President Biden, would have found it. And
- 8:00Speaker 7: I do not believe for a minute that either one
- 8:02Speaker 7: of those federal prosecutors that had the resources of DJ
- 8:05Speaker 7: at their disposal would have found evidence if it was there,
- 8:09Speaker 7: that would have shown any problem of Joe Biden. So
- 8:12Speaker 7: this is a dog that won't hunt, and they have
- 8:14Speaker 7: selective amnesia. By the way, they have selective amnesia. I mean,
- 8:18Speaker 7: I can make a very strong arm argument politically that
- 8:20Speaker 7: the only reason Donald Trump is president is because of
- 8:24Speaker 7: DJ and them inappropriately issuing a letter ten days for
- 8:28Speaker 7: the election about Hillary Clinton's emails.
- 8:30Speaker 6: You WoT you wouldn't be.
- 8:32Speaker 9: The only one who makes who makes that argument. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 9: a dog that won't hunts. I love that phrase. Love
- 8:38Speaker 9: a good Clara mccaskell ism, Thank you so much.
- 8:41Speaker 8: For Claire mccaskell is.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And then that sweet what a cute little interview there,
- 8:45Speaker 1: Love you, Claire, You're so sweet. They get straight up
- 8:48Speaker 1: lined and they're going to do this on MSNBC and
- 8:52Speaker 1: the media will try to get back to this. Adam Schiff,
- 8:54Speaker 1: by the way walking to his office this morning, here's
- 8:57Speaker 1: what he had to say about all this.
- 9:00Speaker 10: I think the Republican desire to teach someone, anyone, no
- 9:05Speaker 10: matter whether there's any evidence, just shows how they have
- 9:12Speaker 10: descended into chaos.
- 9:14Speaker 1: The Republican's desire to impeach someone, anyone, no matter if
- 9:18Speaker 1: there's any evidence, just shows how they have descended into chaos.
- 9:22Speaker 1: This is the same guy that knew that the Steele
- 9:25Speaker 1: dossier was paid for by Hillary Clinton. This is the
- 9:28Speaker 1: same guy that impeached the president United Sates America, tried
- 9:31Speaker 1: to overthrow the will of the voters in this country,
- 9:34Speaker 1: knowing the entire time that Hillary Clinton, right, Hillary Clinton
- 9:38Speaker 1: and the DNC paid for the Steele dossier, and yet
- 9:41Speaker 1: he still went forward to try to overthrow the will
- 9:43Speaker 1: of the people. CNN's David Kellyan, he's their chief political
- 9:48Speaker 1: director at CNN. He described the Hunter Biden ongoing investigation
- 9:53Speaker 1: this way.
- 9:54Speaker 11: An ongoing dj investigation into some of the allegations that
- 9:58Speaker 11: they have been putting out.
- 9:59Speaker 12: Yeah, the fact that if indeed the result out of
- 10:02Speaker 12: court today is there's clear understanding on both sides that
- 10:06Speaker 12: there is ongoing investigation in the Hunter Biden that fits
- 10:09Speaker 12: beautifully into the Republican frame. You have to understand, you,
- 10:14Speaker 12: noted Kevin McCarthy, the speaker, talking laying the groundwork for
- 10:18Speaker 12: an impeachment inquiry, which goes back to these issues as well,
- 10:21Speaker 12: because the whole impeachment inquiry that he wants to set
- 10:24Speaker 12: up here is about Biden's business dealings, Hunter Biden's business dealings,
- 10:28Speaker 12: and if indeed Joe Biden in any way as vice
- 10:31Speaker 12: president may have interfered in some way or exerted influence
- 10:35Speaker 12: for the benefit of his son or his family. They
- 10:37Speaker 12: haven't produced any evidence that that is the situation yet,
- 10:40Speaker 12: But now ad in ongoing investigation way.
- 10:43Speaker 1: By the way, do you hear this, They haven't produced
- 10:45Speaker 1: any evidence. So the suspicious activity ports are saying are
- 10:48Speaker 1: not evidence. The phone calls are not evidence, the text
- 10:51Speaker 1: messages are not evidence. The laptop from Hell is not evidence.
- 10:55Speaker 1: The wissow blowers coming forward are not evident. So everything
- 10:59Speaker 1: that we have that is evidence that got this judge
- 11:02Speaker 1: to say I'm not doing this deal they're now saying
- 11:05Speaker 1: is not evidence at CNN.
- 11:10Speaker 12: And it allows them to portray a picture entering into
- 11:13Speaker 12: the campaign season to start chipping away at Joe Biden's character.
- 11:17Speaker 6: That's the entire sort of premise here. That's the goal
- 11:20Speaker 6: of what they want to do.
- 11:20Speaker 12: They want to money up Joe Biden in the minds
- 11:23Speaker 12: of voters ahead of the re election.
- 11:25Speaker 1: So there's no evidence. CNN just said they're chief political guy.
- 11:29Speaker 1: This is how much scumbaggery there is in media. I mean,
- 11:32Speaker 1: this is truly how much scumbaggery there is. Let's deal
- 11:37Speaker 1: with this shocking news. It is shocking and also exciting
- 11:41Speaker 1: news that deals with a pretty big issue.
- 11:46Speaker 8: The issue that it deals with is.
- 11:48Speaker 1: The Biden crime family and now there being some accountability
- 11:51Speaker 1: for the Biden crime family. Media going all in to
- 11:56Speaker 1: discredit this, to undermine the now real reality that Hunter
- 12:00Speaker 1: Biden and Joe Biden may be held accountable for their crimes.
- 12:04Speaker 1: They keep saying there is no, okay, no evidence. Marco
- 12:08Speaker 1: Rubio has this to say about impeachment. Now take a
- 12:13Speaker 1: listen this.
- 12:14Speaker 6: Interest they're going to the Biden family. Well, I think more.
- 12:17Speaker 11: Than just and we're supposed to just say, oh, well.
- 12:19Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, so I think more than just the I
- 12:22Speaker 13: I think sometimes people would think to themselves, well, they
- 12:24Speaker 13: paid them all this money, so now in return, you're
- 12:26Speaker 13: gonna do something nice for them. I think we need
- 12:27Speaker 13: to think about what other information. I mean, if you've
- 12:29Speaker 13: paid Hunter Biden all this money, whether you're a Chinese
- 12:31Speaker 13: company or the Ukrainian company. This is compromising information. This
- 12:36Speaker 13: is the kind of thing that you could backchannel. Hey,
- 12:38Speaker 13: you know, we're going to release this stuff if you
- 12:40Speaker 13: push too hard or you don't do what we want
- 12:42Speaker 13: you to do in policy front. I mean, understand when
- 12:44Speaker 13: you do deals with these people. These people have like
- 12:47Speaker 13: whatever Ukrainian business interest Hunter Biden was involved in. These
- 12:50Speaker 13: people have documents, They've got more information than we have
- 12:53Speaker 13: right now, and I'm sure they threatened, if that's the case,
- 12:56Speaker 13: to provide it publicly and create real problems for the president.
- 12:59Speaker 6: That's true.
- 13:00Speaker 13: End this amount of leverage to have over a political figure.
- 13:02Speaker 13: That's why things like this have to be revealed.
- 13:05Speaker 9: And Senator talk of impeachment proceedings at least being mentioned
- 13:09Speaker 9: by Speaker McCarthy. What is your view on that given
- 13:13Speaker 9: what we've learned so far.
- 13:14Speaker 13: Well, let me first say, I'm not an impeachment perin
- 13:17Speaker 13: I don't want to turn into Peru. Okay, that's now
- 13:19Speaker 13: basically impeached their last seven presidents. So we have impeachment
- 13:22Speaker 13: counter impeachments all the time. That said, what if you
- 13:24Speaker 13: listen very carefully, what the Speaker of the House is
- 13:26Speaker 13: set is that impeachment proceedings at this point is the
- 13:30Speaker 13: only process they have from an evidentiary front to be
- 13:33Speaker 13: able to go out in subpoena records and get documents
- 13:35Speaker 13: and get information that otherwise is not forthcoming and isn't
- 13:38Speaker 13: being provided because they're ignoring congressional subpoenas from the committee level.
- 13:41Speaker 13: So that's what the Speaker McCarthy has said, as those
- 13:43Speaker 13: proceedings will be used. Now we'll see what that uncomvers
- 13:46Speaker 13: I mean, like anything else. I mean, the process exists
- 13:48Speaker 13: for a reason. But I don't think he's saying we're
- 13:50Speaker 13: going to definitely impeach him. I think he's saying we're
- 13:52Speaker 13: going to have an impeachment process to generate evidence that
- 13:54Speaker 13: we can't get right now because there's stonewalling US across
- 13:57Speaker 13: government agencies and Biden and other private parties refusing to
- 14:01Speaker 13: provide information that could provide more insight into all this.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Marco Rubio, I like how he talks in a very
- 14:08Speaker 1: measured way about this and just kind of lays it out.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And if you look at this compared to what the
- 14:13Speaker 1: rest of the media is saying about this, and they're
- 14:16Speaker 1: in shock that this has happened. They just don't know
- 14:18Speaker 1: how they're going to put around it, and they're just
- 14:21Speaker 1: you know, wow, this is just over the top, right,
- 14:25Speaker 1: Claire mccaskell, Right, GOP trying and Biden for loving his
- 14:29Speaker 1: son who is has been addicted to drugs. No, that's
- 14:32Speaker 1: not what we're doing at all. But if you put
- 14:34Speaker 1: these errors together long enough, and you keep saying them
- 14:36Speaker 1: over and over and over and over and over again,
- 14:41Speaker 1: then it may have an impact on the public. That's
- 14:43Speaker 1: what they're hoping. White House Press Secretary asked about this
- 14:47Speaker 1: yesterday as well, when all this was going down. Congress
- 14:51Speaker 1: is Congress stefan It called out the House's shifting message
- 14:55Speaker 1: on Biden's involvement with Hunter business deals. Remember, their line
- 14:59Speaker 1: was he ever talked about business with his son. Then
- 15:01Speaker 1: it changed too. We called it out here as soon
- 15:03Speaker 1: as we heard it. He was never in business with
- 15:07Speaker 1: his son, So they've changed that narrative at the White
- 15:10Speaker 1: House listened.
- 15:11Speaker 7: Press suctor Koeen Jean Pierre reacted to all of this yesterday.
- 15:14Speaker 6: Here's what you said.
- 15:14Speaker 8: Watch.
- 15:16Speaker 14: So I just want to clear this up once and
- 15:17Speaker 14: for all. The President has previously said that he has
- 15:21Speaker 14: never discussed overseas business dealings with his son. But the
- 15:24Speaker 14: White House now says that the President has never been
- 15:28Speaker 14: in business with his son. So why the updated language?
- 15:33Speaker 14: Which statement is true or is the semantics? And they're
- 15:36Speaker 14: both true.
- 15:37Speaker 4: As I stated on Monday when I was asked this
- 15:39Speaker 4: question multiple times, nothing has changed. Nothing has changed on
- 15:43Speaker 4: this Nothing has changed on this, and so could ask
- 15:48Speaker 4: me a million different ways on this question.
- 15:51Speaker 6: Nothing has changed, nothing has changed. Conglessimon, what do you
- 15:54Speaker 6: want to say?
- 15:55Speaker 15: Not only is that factually inaccurate, but it's condescending to
- 15:58Speaker 15: the American people. The people are smart. They know that
- 16:01Speaker 15: the White House is trying to cover their tracks. They
- 16:03Speaker 15: know that they're having to change their position because we've
- 16:05Speaker 15: shown evidence that Joe Biden has spoken to Hunter Biden
- 16:08Speaker 15: about his overseas business dealings, and what's worse, he did so,
- 16:12Speaker 15: and I believe was intimately involved when he was the
- 16:14Speaker 15: sitting Vice president, and now he's involved in forcing the
- 16:18Speaker 15: Department of Justice to cover up and protect the Biden family,
- 16:22Speaker 15: you know, to protect them from the rule of law
- 16:24Speaker 15: and prosecution. That's fundamentally un American. And as I said,
- 16:29Speaker 15: it is our constitutional responsibility to root out corruption in
- 16:33Speaker 15: every agency, and we're going to do that as House Republicans,
- 16:36Speaker 15: and I've been proud, you know, standing in the breach
- 16:38Speaker 15: on some of the toughest fights we've had related to
- 16:40Speaker 15: the unconstitutional impeachment under the Democrats. We're going to do
- 16:44Speaker 15: things right and follow the facts and evidence and make
- 16:46Speaker 15: sure that the impeachment inquiry, our subpoenas, and our requests
- 16:50Speaker 15: for documents have the most understanding, and that the judges
- 16:56Speaker 15: rule in favor of the House of Representatives when it
- 16:59Speaker 15: comes to our institutional responsibility of oversaying.
- 17:01Speaker 16: Well, I mean, I can understand the issue the White House,
- 17:05Speaker 16: and she's right, they're lying.
- 17:08Speaker 8: They're absolutely lying to you, you know.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And then Claut mccaskell also said this on MSNBC a
- 17:17Speaker 1: moment ago. Wow, she said, quote, what I'm interested in
- 17:20Speaker 1: is who's been given immunity to testify against Trump.
- 17:23Speaker 8: So now she's saying.
- 17:25Speaker 1: That the immunity deal that was going to be given
- 17:27Speaker 1: to the Bidens, now she's saying needs to be flipped
- 17:29Speaker 1: the other way, and she's going back after the Trumps.
- 17:33Speaker 1: So they're going to do everything they can to try
- 17:35Speaker 1: to make this muddy the water say oh, this is
- 17:37Speaker 1: all just political.
- 17:37Speaker 8: It's back and forth political.
- 17:39Speaker 1: There's one there's one company that's more political than another company.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Another you know, another party's one is more political than
- 17:46Speaker 1: the other party. And that's how we're going to deal
- 17:48Speaker 1: with this, and that's how we're going to fight against it.

- 19:24Speaker 1: is now putting the Justice Department in the hot seat
- 19:27Speaker 1: by default putting also the president in the hot seat.
- 19:31Speaker 1: And this also, I think is pretty clear that this
- 19:33Speaker 1: means that the what happened in Delaware and the cover
- 19:36Speaker 1: up to the Biden crime family, what happened to get
- 19:39Speaker 1: this cover up is not going now unnoticed.
- 19:42Speaker 8: Now, don't worry.
- 19:43Speaker 1: The media is now saying, talking about the liberal media,
- 19:45Speaker 1: Oh well, this is just a Republican's obsessed with trying
- 19:48Speaker 1: to impeach somebody and trying to find a crime into
- 19:51Speaker 1: muddy the waters. Not the case at all. There's actual
- 19:54Speaker 1: evidence here. But besides that, that's how Democrats are now
- 19:57Speaker 1: going to deal with this.
- 19:58Speaker 8: Now.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I want you to hear what the Five had to
- 20:00Speaker 1: say on Fox yesterday about this. Was a very interesting
- 20:03Speaker 1: conversation about the Justice Department now facing all this heat
- 20:06Speaker 1: over the developments that transpired during the Hunter Biden investigation.
- 20:11Speaker 1: The first court appearance on Wednesday, as this plea deal
- 20:13Speaker 1: fell apart, he then pleaded not guilty, as federal prosecutors
- 20:17Speaker 1: confirmed me still under federal investigation.
- 20:20Speaker 8: So what does that mean? Listen?
- 20:22Speaker 11: Not off the hook? The first son's sweetheart plea deal
- 20:25Speaker 11: getting blown up in a dramatic legal twist, Hunter Biden
- 20:28Speaker 11: showing up in a federal courthouse in Delaware and pleading
- 20:31Speaker 11: not guilty to gun and tax charges. The shocking development
- 20:34Speaker 11: happened after the judge started asking just some face of
- 20:37Speaker 11: questions on the terms of the original plea agreement, like
- 20:40Speaker 11: what was and was not part of the deal. The
- 20:43Speaker 11: judge was very concerned on whether Hunter could get blanket
- 20:46Speaker 11: immunity from future prosecutions, and at one point said that
- 20:49Speaker 11: she is not going to be a rubber stamp. The
- 20:52Speaker 11: prosecutors also admitting that there's still an ongoing investigation surrounding
- 20:57Speaker 11: Hunter Biden and potential violations of foreign lobbying law. The
- 21:01Speaker 11: White House, well, you can imagine not too keen to
- 21:04Speaker 11: talk about any of this.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Hunter Biden is a private citizen and this was a
- 21:09Speaker 4: personal matter for him. As we have said, the President,
- 21:12Speaker 4: the first Lady, they love their son and they support
- 21:15Speaker 4: him as he continues to rebuild his life.
- 21:18Speaker 9: When he was a senator crafted dun legislation.
- 21:21Speaker 13: As a president, he talks often about the need to
- 21:25Speaker 13: get illegal firearms off of our streets.
- 21:29Speaker 15: So when someone possesses one illegally, what does the President
- 21:33Speaker 15: believe should happen to there.
- 21:34Speaker 4: I'm going to be very careful because I see where
- 21:36Speaker 4: this question is going, and I'm just going to refer
- 21:39Speaker 4: you as this has been an independent investigation. It's overseen
- 21:42Speaker 4: by the Department of Justice. I'm going to let them
- 21:44Speaker 4: speak to this as they are moving forward.
- 21:47Speaker 11: Judge, there's probably a good reason that the Justice Department
- 21:51Speaker 11: did not release the play agreement for all of us
- 21:53Speaker 11: to see, because when the judge started just asking some
- 21:55Speaker 11: basic questions.
- 21:56Speaker 6: It was pretty clear. It was outrageous. I've na should
- 21:59Speaker 6: be well.
- 22:00Speaker 16: The deal was laughable and the Department of Justice today
- 22:04Speaker 16: is not in a good place. What normally happens in
- 22:07Speaker 16: a plea deal? And I remember from when I was
- 22:10Speaker 16: a judge, I mean that the day you took please
- 22:13Speaker 16: was a slow day. There was never any drama. Everybody
- 22:16Speaker 16: understood the parameters of the plea. The defendant comes in
- 22:19Speaker 16: and the judge has to do an allocution to make
- 22:21Speaker 16: sure that the defendant understands the parameters of the plea,
- 22:25Speaker 16: And so the judge will be very specific about what
- 22:28Speaker 16: did you do, what did you say?
- 22:30Speaker 6: What were you thinking? In this case?
- 22:32Speaker 16: You know, on a tax case, where did the money
- 22:34Speaker 16: come from? Who were you working for in the tax
- 22:37Speaker 16: years that he's charged for. But in this particular case,
- 22:43Speaker 16: normally you would have, you know, the defense and the
- 22:47Speaker 16: prosecution would have hammered this out. I mean, this would
- 22:50Speaker 16: have been very clear. I've never had anything like that
- 22:53Speaker 16: happen to me. Ever, wow, never, I mean plea deals
- 22:56Speaker 16: they're hammered out because they know if they don't do it,
- 22:59Speaker 16: they end up going to trial. So in this case,
- 23:02Speaker 16: it was really laughable. What happened because when the judge
- 23:05Speaker 16: started the discussion and the intro to the allocution, it
- 23:11Speaker 16: was clear that when she said, what is going on
- 23:15Speaker 16: with this continuing investigation? And then the defense attorney started
- 23:19Speaker 16: talking about immunity, and it appeared that they were thinking
- 23:23Speaker 16: about immunity going into the future, not just past immunity,
- 23:27Speaker 16: but immunity going into the future, which is something that
- 23:30Speaker 16: is just not done unless you're at the very least
- 23:34Speaker 16: cooperating and bringing in someone like a major drug dealer.
- 23:37Speaker 16: So the allocution as it was supposed to go forward
- 23:41Speaker 16: basically couldn't happen because once it was on the record,
- 23:44Speaker 16: the Department of Justice had to say, well, it's a
- 23:49Speaker 16: continuing investigation. And the judge says, so you might file
- 23:53Speaker 16: more crimes, more charges, and they say possibly, and she says,
- 23:58Speaker 16: like Pharah for an agent Paul Manafort. And at that
- 24:02Speaker 16: point the attorneys started getting very uncomfortable because here's the
- 24:06Speaker 16: here's the insult, Dana. This was a deal where everyone
- 24:10Speaker 16: was in on the con, but the judge and the
- 24:13Speaker 16: American people. It was a con going down. They didn't
- 24:16Speaker 16: expect the judge to ask any questions, and they said,
- 24:19Speaker 16: you know what, We're going to get this through and
- 24:20Speaker 16: Hunter's going to walk out and he's going to be
- 24:22Speaker 16: just fine. And the judge was not interested in what
- 24:26Speaker 16: had gone on in terms of you know, they're saying that,
- 24:30Speaker 16: you know, we're going to give him future immunity, because
- 24:32Speaker 16: she knew it was continuing investigation and even if it
- 24:35Speaker 16: isn't this Department of Justice, the next Department of Justice,
- 24:38Speaker 16: if statute of limitations hasn't passed, and go after him.
- 24:41Speaker 16: But the she then said to the to the prosecutors,
- 24:46Speaker 16: is there any precedent in the Department.
- 24:49Speaker 6: Of Justice for doing something like this.
- 24:51Speaker 16: With both of the version program with the gun which
- 24:53Speaker 16: she said was unheard of and I've never heard of it.
- 24:56Speaker 6: It's one of the things I've talked about.
- 24:58Speaker 16: How can a guy go to plead guilty to a
- 25:00Speaker 16: gun charge when he has them in charge with a
- 25:01Speaker 16: gun charge and they couldn't have They didn't have any
- 25:05Speaker 16: answers to any of this. Now, this started dan at
- 25:08Speaker 16: the night last night, right before the plea, there was
- 25:12Speaker 16: someone who called to strike testimony of the whistleblowers. It
- 25:15Speaker 16: happened on I believe on Tuesday or Monday of this week.
- 25:19Speaker 16: From the transcript, the judge tracked the phone call. The
- 25:23Speaker 16: judge found out that it was traced back to someone
- 25:28Speaker 16: connected to Hunter Biden's lawyers.
- 25:30Speaker 6: The judge is the one who found that out.
- 25:32Speaker 16: So when that judge walked into that courtroom, she had
- 25:35Speaker 16: a bad taste in her mouth from the beginning when
- 25:37Speaker 16: they tried to strike the testimony of the whistleblowers.
- 25:40Speaker 6: And in the end, the DOJ.
- 25:42Speaker 16: Couldn't offer this deal and say with a wink and
- 25:46Speaker 16: a nod, it's under investigation, and it was clear why
- 25:48Speaker 16: they were doing it to keep Congress from it.
- 25:51Speaker 11: You're probably gonna hear a lot about this judge from
- 25:53Speaker 11: the left. I would imagine some pretty aggressive scrutiny you
- 25:56Speaker 11: imagine is coming. Remember, interestingly, she is the one she
- 25:59Speaker 11: ruled against the laptop repairman in his defamation suit. So
- 26:03Speaker 11: it's not like she has been somebody who is just
- 26:06Speaker 11: trying to help the anti Hunter side, if that, if
- 26:10Speaker 11: we can call it that, Greg, do you remember when the.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Let's just stop there for a second. This is a judge.
- 26:17Speaker 1: By the way, they're going to say Trump appointed judge.
- 26:19Speaker 1: They're gonna say it over and over again. These judges
- 26:21Speaker 1: don't get these jobs without the liberal centers agreeing to
- 26:24Speaker 1: them the same way that you don't get an attorney,
- 26:27Speaker 1: a United States attorney for Delaware. He can't get that
- 26:31Speaker 1: job without the two liberal centers signing off on him.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So you're not getting a conservative judge, if that makes sense.
- 26:38Speaker 1: This judge went against the repairman and the Hunter Biden laptop.
- 26:42Speaker 1: So understand, this is not a This is not a
- 26:46Speaker 1: conservative judge by any means.
- 26:49Speaker 8: This is a liberal, more liberal judge.
- 26:51Speaker 1: But when you lie to the court the way that
- 26:53Speaker 1: the Hunter Biden attorneys did, and she figured it out
- 26:57Speaker 1: because she was being misled and lie to by the court,
- 27:01Speaker 1: that's when there apparently is what I would describe as
- 27:04Speaker 1: hell to pay now for that, And now there's an
- 27:07Speaker 1: ongoing investigation. And she's like, well, if there's an ongoing investigation,
- 27:11Speaker 1: why are you treating me this way, and why are
- 27:14Speaker 1: you lying to the court in essence trying to get
- 27:16Speaker 1: a deal that is absurd that it gives immunity that
- 27:18Speaker 1: should never be given. And that's a very very very
- 27:22Speaker 1: very very important point that needs to be made. Make
