Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Sentater, Ted Kruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:05Speaker 2: You Center. There is big news from Capitol Hill today
- 0:08Speaker 2: that you get to break.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right.
- 0:11Speaker 4: First of all, the news that is consuming the globe,
- 0:14Speaker 4: which is Joe Biden, continues in free fall. It keeps
- 0:17Speaker 4: getting worse and worse and worse. There's the disastrous Big
- 0:20Speaker 4: Boy press conference. But beyond that, there is the cabinet
- 0:25Speaker 4: now leaking on him that they haven't had a cabinet
- 0:27Speaker 4: meeting in eight months, that the cabinet meetings they did
- 0:30Speaker 4: have were prescripted where they're walking through kabuki theater. There's
- 0:34Speaker 4: also the leak coming out of the Biden campaign itself
- 0:38Speaker 4: that they've begun polling Kamala Harris versus Donald Trump. And
- 0:42Speaker 4: we're going to talk about what it means that the
- 0:45Speaker 4: internal team, the cabinet, in the campaign is turning on
- 0:49Speaker 4: Joe Biden as this free fall continues. We're going to
- 0:51Speaker 4: get into that in depth. But before we do it,
- 0:54Speaker 4: we're going to cover a story that nobody else is
- 0:56Speaker 4: covering because it is an important story, which is yesterday
- 1:01Speaker 4: on Capitol Hill, there was a big, big victory on
- 1:06Speaker 4: Capitol Hill. Y'all recall we had a prior podcast where
- 1:09Speaker 4: we discussed this radical left wing judge that Joe Biden nominated.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Sarah Netburn, a magistrate judge in New York who is
- 1:17Speaker 4: an extreme leftist. She was handpicked by Chuck Schumer, and
- 1:21Speaker 4: among other things, she has this stunning decision where there
- 1:25Speaker 4: was this six foot two guy who was a serial rapist,
- 1:30Speaker 4: a child rapist, who decided at age fifty two that
- 1:34Speaker 4: he was a woman, and this judge ordered that he
- 1:38Speaker 4: go to a woman's prison and be housed with women.
- 1:42Speaker 4: And she disregarded the rights of those women, She disregarded
- 1:46Speaker 4: common sense, she disregarded sanity. Well, I cross examined her
- 1:52Speaker 4: a number of weeks ago, and Thursday morning, the Senate
- 1:55Speaker 4: Judiciary Committee had the markup when we were voting on it,
- 1:58Speaker 4: and I spoke again the nomination, and we had a
- 2:04Speaker 4: stunning victory.
- 2:04Speaker 3: We're going to get into that in just a moment.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's incredible. This June marked two years since the
- 2:11Speaker 2: overturn of Roe v.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Wade.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But did you know that the number of abortions actually
- 2:15Speaker 2: increased the following year In twenty twenty three, the amount
- 2:18Speaker 2: of abortions reached its highest level since twenty twelve, with
- 2:22Speaker 2: the abortion pill accounting for up to sixty three percent
- 2:25Speaker 2: of all abortions. It's tragically no surprise well Preborn is
- 2:29Speaker 2: continuing to stand strong for women in crisis and at
- 2:33Speaker 2: risk babies. Preborn is a ministry of compassion the showers
- 2:37Speaker 2: women and babies with God's love, providing free ultrasounds to
- 2:42Speaker 2: mothers with unplanned pregnancies to introduce them to the precious
- 2:47Speaker 2: life that they are growing. When a mother meets her
- 2:51Speaker 2: baby on ultrasound and here's their heartbeat, she is twice
- 2:55Speaker 2: as likely to then choose life. Twenty eight dollars sponsor
- 3:00Speaker 2: one ultrasound, and one hundred and forty dollars helps to
- 3:03Speaker 2: rescue five babies. Your generous, taxedectable donation will also help
- 3:09Speaker 2: to provide women who choose life with assistance for up
- 3:12Speaker 2: to two years. So please give give your best gift.
- 3:16Speaker 2: To donate, it's easy. Just dial pound two fifty, say
- 3:20Speaker 2: the keyword baby. That's pound two fifty say the keyword baby,
- 3:25Speaker 2: or visit preborn dot com slash verdict that's preborn dot
- 3:32Speaker 2: com slash verdict, or dial pound two fifty and say
- 3:35Speaker 2: the keyword baby center. This was a story is that
- 3:40Speaker 2: you you mentioned a moment ago, but it is not
- 3:42Speaker 2: going to be covered by the media. And it's a
- 3:45Speaker 2: very very significant victory to stop this radical judge. How
- 3:51Speaker 2: did you get any Democrat to come along and to
- 3:55Speaker 2: look at this woman's record and realize this is not
- 3:58Speaker 2: someone we should have on the court.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Well, I'm going to explain this, but I got to
- 4:02Speaker 4: tell you the victory was a surprise. The Democrats were
- 4:04Speaker 4: not expecting it. The chairman of the committee, Dick Durbin,
- 4:07Speaker 4: was not expecting for the good guys, for common sense,
- 4:12Speaker 4: for reality to prevail. They were assuming they'd get a
- 4:15Speaker 4: straight party line vote. That's not what happened. But before
- 4:19Speaker 4: I walked through what happened, I want you to hear
- 4:21Speaker 4: my remarks at the markup. And this is a little
- 4:24Speaker 4: bit lengthy, but this is what I said at the markup,
- 4:29Speaker 4: and then I'm going to tell you the results and
- 4:32Speaker 4: how it.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Produced a stunning victory. Have a listen.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Thank you, missus. Chairman.
- 4:41Speaker 4: I have deep concerns about Judge Sarah Netburn's nomination, and
- 4:44Speaker 4: specifically about her radical rulings that endanger women by placing
- 4:48Speaker 4: biological men in women's prisons, and given the avalanche of
- 4:53Speaker 4: letters this committee has received from women's groups and female inmates,
- 4:58Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 4:59Speaker 5: The only person with co.
- 5:01Speaker 4: In the case of JJS versus ws Plyler, the prisoner
- 5:06Speaker 4: dubbed July Justine Shelby his real name is William mclin
- 5:12Speaker 4: was a serial rapist.
- 5:14Speaker 5: There's no other way to say it.
- 5:16Speaker 4: He was also a six foot two, fully intact biological man.
- 5:20Speaker 4: His past criminal offenses included child molestation of a nine
- 5:26Speaker 4: year old boy, rape of a seventeen year old girl,
- 5:31Speaker 4: and criminal deviot conduct. No factual details are in the record,
- 5:35Speaker 4: but the state defined the offense as quote compelling with
- 5:39Speaker 4: force or the threat of force sexual conduct. As a
- 5:43Speaker 4: result of these offenses, Shelby was incarcerated for eighteen years.
- 5:49Speaker 4: One year after being released on parole, Shelby broke parole
- 5:54Speaker 4: by circulating violent child pornography and so back in prison
- 6:00Speaker 4: and at fifty one years of age, Shelby decided that
- 6:03Speaker 4: he was a woman, and as a self declared woman,
- 6:06Speaker 4: he demanded to be jailed with biological women, and failing
- 6:11Speaker 4: to lock him up with other women, he argued, was
- 6:13Speaker 4: a violation of the Eighth Amendment. Now. Luckily for Shelby,
- 6:17Speaker 4: his lawsuit ended up in front of Judge Netburn, putting
- 6:20Speaker 4: political ideology over justice and reality. Magistrate Judge Netburn recommended
- 6:25Speaker 4: that Shelby quote be transferred immediately to a woman's facility,
- 6:31Speaker 4: despite a lifelong pattern of rape, sexual assault, and obvious
- 6:35Speaker 4: sexually predatory instincts. Magistrate Judge Netburn's opinion declared that quote
- 6:43Speaker 4: there are no signs that petitioner is at risk of reoffending.
- 6:49Speaker 5: That defies words.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Magistrate Judge Netburn doubled down on her comment to a
- 6:54Speaker 4: radical political ideology in her opinion, casting aside any concerns
- 6:59Speaker 4: for the female prisoners.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Judge Netburn wrote.
- 7:02Speaker 4: The BOP also posits that permitting petitioner to live among
- 7:06Speaker 4: women will be traumatizing and possibly dangerous to them. This
- 7:12Speaker 4: concern is overblown. Those are her words. Netbird's opinion went
- 7:17Speaker 4: on quote the BOP's repeated refusal to transfer petitioner to
- 7:21Speaker 4: a woman's facility to further her gender transition, despite knowing
- 7:25Speaker 4: the condition of petitioners physical and mental health violates the
- 7:29Speaker 4: petitioner's Eighth Amendment rights. This judge is ruling the Constitution
- 7:34Speaker 4: requires that biological men who wake up one day and
- 7:37Speaker 4: say I'm a woman have to be housed with female prisoners.
- 7:41Speaker 4: This judge also ruled, in effect that female prisoners have
- 7:44Speaker 4: no rights. The Democrats on this committee like to say
- 7:48Speaker 4: they support the rights of women, but we're about to
- 7:51Speaker 4: find out whether they do or not, because in this case,
- 7:55Speaker 4: you're taking a six foot two man who is a
- 7:59Speaker 4: serial rapist, and this judge sent that man to Fort Worth, Texas.
- 8:05Speaker 4: I asked that judge, do the women in that prison
- 8:07Speaker 4: have any right if it was your mother, if it
- 8:10Speaker 4: was your daughter, if it was your wife, how would
- 8:13Speaker 4: you feel if your daughter was Howe's with a six
- 8:16Speaker 4: foot two man who's a serial rapist. Because political, by
- 8:20Speaker 4: ideology matters more than sanity. And by the way, the
- 8:25Speaker 4: threat that this ideologue said is overblown is happening all
- 8:30Speaker 4: over the country. For example, in Judge Netburn's home state
- 8:34Speaker 4: of New York, in twenty twenty four, a former prisoner
- 8:37Speaker 4: at Rikers Island claimed that she was groped and raped
- 8:40Speaker 4: by a male inmate posing as a transgender woman. There'd
- 8:44Speaker 4: also been a prior rape attempt at Rikers in twenty
- 8:48Speaker 4: twenty one by another transgender inmate against a biological female inmate.
- 8:53Speaker 4: In New Jersey, in twenty twenty two, a transgender inmate
- 8:58Speaker 4: impregnated not one, but two female inmates.
- 9:03Speaker 5: In California, a.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Woman's group sued the Department of Corrections after transgender prisoner
- 9:09Speaker 4: raped two women, impregnating one of them. And in the
- 9:13Speaker 4: Chairman's home state of Illinois, a female inmate sue the
- 9:17Speaker 4: Department of Corrections after she was raped by a transgender inmate.
- 9:21Speaker 4: This is happening over and over and over again, and
- 9:24Speaker 4: it's because of ideology being put ahead of common sense.
- 9:28Speaker 4: At her hearing, I asked Judge Netburn, do you regret
- 9:32Speaker 4: your decision transferring a serial rapist, a biological man, to
- 9:36Speaker 4: a woman's prison. Her answer was, quote no, I faithfully
- 9:41Speaker 4: applied the law to the facts. That is not the law,
- 9:44Speaker 4: and these are not the facts. As I mentioned at
- 9:46Speaker 4: the outset, this committee has received letters from female prisoners
- 9:49Speaker 4: horrified at the prospect of being housed with a biological male,
- 9:54Speaker 4: fearing quite reasonably for their safety. Interestingly, the Chairman has
- 9:59Speaker 4: not read to you the letters those female inmates have
- 10:03Speaker 4: sent to this committee, pleading on this committee to use
- 10:07Speaker 4: some common sense. I'm going to read a couple for you.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Alissa Kay, a current inmate. Here's what she wrote to us. Quote,
- 10:15Speaker 4: people are already getting raped and nobody cares. Honestly, someone
- 10:20Speaker 4: in here is going to end up getting killed. Having
- 10:22Speaker 4: men here in prison with us disrupts any sense of rehabilitation.
- 10:27Speaker 4: We fear for our safety. We have further loss of
- 10:30Speaker 4: privacy as we are forced to share intimate spaces with
- 10:35Speaker 4: a man. We watch some as some prisons are victims
- 10:40Speaker 4: of abuse, and others willingly engage in sexual acts in
- 10:43Speaker 4: our shared space. This isn't right, This isn't fair. Do
- 10:48Speaker 4: any of our Democratic members care about Alissa Kay's concerns?
- 10:52Speaker 4: How about Amy I, a former inmate. Here's what she
- 10:55Speaker 4: wrote to us to say, quote, I urge the committee
- 10:58Speaker 4: to watch my story, the story of other female prisoners
- 11:01Speaker 4: and a brave resigned lieutenant who spoke out against this
- 11:06Speaker 4: anti woman policy. Women, including incarcerated women. Just because a
- 11:11Speaker 4: woman is in a prison doesn't mean she loses her rights.
- 11:14Speaker 4: That's me talking, not the letter. I'll get back to
- 11:15Speaker 4: the letter. Women, including incarcerated women, shouldn't be erased as
- 11:20Speaker 4: a matter of law to accommodate the interest of men.
- 11:25Speaker 4: One person's rights cannot come at the costs of another's.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Here's another letter, Evelyn V. A former inmate. She wrote
- 11:32Speaker 4: to us and said, quote, as a former inmate in
- 11:35Speaker 4: the California State prison system, I share your concern about
- 11:38Speaker 4: how women's rights are being pushed aside compared to the
- 11:42Speaker 4: interest of men who are self identifying at women and
- 11:45Speaker 4: getting entry to.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Facilities meant for women.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Now, at the hearing, Judge Netburn told us again she
- 11:51Speaker 4: thinks concerns of the risk of Shelby engaging in sexual
- 11:55Speaker 4: reoffense are quote overblown. I strongly disagree it. As it happens,
- 12:02Speaker 4: we now have facts just yesterday yesterday exquisite timing, by
- 12:09Speaker 4: the way, on this markup. Yesterday, the Washington Freebacon reported
- 12:13Speaker 4: that Shelby, who is housed at FMC Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas,
- 12:19Speaker 4: was placed in administrative segregation for exposing himself to female prisoners,
- 12:24Speaker 4: apparently joking that he was fully intact. Congratulations, Judge Netburn.
- 12:30Speaker 4: That's what you're doing to the women in this prison.
- 12:33Speaker 4: You're subjecting them to victimization and assault. If a guy
- 12:38Speaker 4: on the subway did this, whipping out his genitalia to
- 12:41Speaker 4: you on the subway, you deck the guy and arrest
- 12:44Speaker 4: him for indecent exposure, but this radical says he's got
- 12:48Speaker 4: a constitutional right to be there and do this. I
- 12:52Speaker 4: have to say this is an issue. Everyone on this
- 12:55Speaker 4: committee knows this isn't right every one of us. Every
- 13:00Speaker 4: one of us would be horrified if a loved one
- 13:04Speaker 4: found out she was the cellmate of a six foot
- 13:06Speaker 4: two man who was a serial rapist. But in today's
- 13:10Speaker 4: topsy turvy political world, the way you get nominated to
- 13:14Speaker 4: be a judge is you demonstrate you're a radical. I
- 13:17Speaker 4: know people must be saying, well, gosh, New York has
- 13:20Speaker 4: twenty million people, they couldn't find one person qualified to
- 13:25Speaker 4: be a judge to give a lifetime appointment to.
- 13:27Speaker 5: And that's the point.
- 13:28Speaker 4: What they're looking for is show us you're a radical.
- 13:34Speaker 4: This is an opportunity for every senator to demonstrate whether
- 13:37Speaker 4: you'll stand up for the rights of women or not.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I sadly expect a party line vote on this, but
- 13:42Speaker 4: I will say this, if we have a party line vote, mister.
- 13:44Speaker 5: Chairman, I'm going to make a request.
- 13:46Speaker 4: I'm going to request, mister Chairman, that you ask Majority
- 13:49Speaker 4: Leader Schumer to expedite a floor vote on this judge.
- 13:52Speaker 5: On the floor.
- 13:53Speaker 4: I want to see Senator Tester vote on whether a
- 13:55Speaker 4: six foot two man should go to a women's prison.
- 13:57Speaker 4: I want to see Senator Brown, I want to see
- 13:59Speaker 4: every Democrat go on record, do you give a damn
- 14:02Speaker 4: about the women in your state or not. It's a
- 14:05Speaker 4: simple choice, and it's a choice that will be defined
- 14:07Speaker 4: by the word yes of the word no.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Senator, you gave that speech hoping that there would be
- 14:14Speaker 2: people that would obviously hear it and would then say, Okay,
- 14:19Speaker 2: maybe he's right.
- 14:21Speaker 1: That's apparently what happened.
- 14:24Speaker 3: It is and it was remarkable.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Look, I assumed what would happen is what has happened
- 14:29Speaker 4: over and over and over again in the Senate Judiciary Committee,
- 14:31Speaker 4: that everyone would just rubber stamp the nomination voted out,
- 14:35Speaker 4: and that really I was speaking to the American people,
- 14:38Speaker 4: and ultimately to all one hundred Senators trying to defeat
- 14:41Speaker 4: this judge on the floor of the Senate. But after
- 14:43Speaker 4: I spoke, Mike Lee spoke, and Lindsey Graham spoke, they
- 14:47Speaker 4: both were very effective laying out this judge's record like
- 14:51Speaker 4: I did, and then they began the role call vote
- 14:54Speaker 4: and the way the role call vote works is the
- 14:56Speaker 4: clerk of the committee begins reading out each of the senators,
- 15:00Speaker 4: and it starts with the senior senator in the majority
- 15:02Speaker 4: who's not the chairman, and it goes down in seniority,
- 15:05Speaker 4: so the clerk goes Senator Whitehouse. Senator white House is
- 15:09Speaker 4: Sheldon white House, Democrat from Rhode Island. Senator white House I. Next,
- 15:13Speaker 4: Senator Klobachar Amy Klobachar, Democrat from Minnesota. Senator Klobachar I.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Next Chris Coon's Democrat from Delaware. Senator Coons I. Next
- 15:26Speaker 4: Richard Blumenthal, Democrat from Connecticut. Senator Bloomenthal I. Next Mazie Herono,
- 15:32Speaker 4: Democrat from Hawaii. Senator Herono I. Next is Corey Booker,
- 15:37Speaker 4: Democrat from New Jersey. Senator Booker I. Next is Alex Padia,
- 15:42Speaker 4: Democrat from California. Senator Padilla I. Next is John Ossoff,
- 15:47Speaker 4: Democrat from Georgia. Senator Ossoff.
- 15:51Speaker 5: No.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Wow, you could have heard a pin drop when he
- 15:56Speaker 4: said that the last two members of the Democrats going
- 15:59Speaker 4: down the die where Peter Welch, Democrat from Virginia he
- 16:02Speaker 4: votes I and Lafonza Butler, Democrat from California. She votes IE,
- 16:06Speaker 4: and then Dick Durbin, the chairman at the end, votes I.
- 16:09Speaker 4: But John Ossoff, Democrat from Georgia, voted no, and all
- 16:14Speaker 4: the Republicans voted now, and as a result, this judge
- 16:18Speaker 4: was defeated eleven to ten. Now, I'll tell you, I
- 16:20Speaker 4: am convinced that Dick Durbin, the chairman, had no idea
- 16:23Speaker 4: assof was going to vote no. And I think he
- 16:26Speaker 4: was genuinely shocked when OSAF said no. They thought they
- 16:29Speaker 4: were going to have a party line vote and move
- 16:31Speaker 4: her on. And I think Osoff thought about it and said, Okay,
- 16:35Speaker 4: I got a run for reelection in the state of Georgia,
- 16:38Speaker 4: and if I vote for a judge that sends a
- 16:40Speaker 4: six foot two serial rapist to a woman's prison, I
- 16:46Speaker 4: ain't get reelected.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And do you guys talk before these votes like that
- 16:51Speaker 2: with Democrats, Remember, so you were expecting this to be
- 16:54Speaker 2: a they would move it on as well. Right, you
- 16:56Speaker 2: were as shy as probably Durbin.
- 16:59Speaker 4: A hundred per cent of the times we've done this,
- 17:02Speaker 4: they vote party line. Look, the Democrats put the most
- 17:06Speaker 4: partisan Democrats on the Judiciary Committee. You know, different committees
- 17:11Speaker 4: have different the Ethoses Judiciary Committee is like the Roman Coliseum.
- 17:16Speaker 4: You strap on your armor and you get battle axes
- 17:19Speaker 4: and you go fight the barbarians. The Commerce Committee, which
- 17:23Speaker 4: I'm the ranking member on, it's totally different. Commerce Committee.
- 17:26Speaker 4: It's Kumbai Yah. You go arm in arm, you work together,
- 17:29Speaker 4: you cooperate. And what's interesting is many of the same
- 17:32Speaker 4: people are on both committees. But it's just like the
- 17:34Speaker 4: committees operate differently, they take up different topics. And so
- 17:39Speaker 4: my entire remarks at the markup, I assumed none of
- 17:43Speaker 4: these Democrats, it doesn't matter what I say, they're not
- 17:45Speaker 4: going to listen to me.
- 17:46Speaker 3: They're going to vote yes.
- 17:47Speaker 4: But really what I was aiming, Look, it's why I
- 17:49Speaker 4: asked Durban, when you guys party line vote this out.
- 17:53Speaker 4: We ought to have a vote on the floor because
- 17:54Speaker 4: we would have defeated this judge on the floor. Joe
- 17:57Speaker 4: Manchin was not going to vote for this judge. I
- 17:59Speaker 4: think we might well have gotten Kirsten Cinema. And as
- 18:03Speaker 4: I mentioned, for Tester and Brown a couple of week,
- 18:06Speaker 4: couple of months before an election to vote for a
- 18:08Speaker 4: judge who did this that could cost them their elections.
- 18:12Speaker 4: And so I was like all right, if you want
- 18:13Speaker 4: to move this radical, let's get a vote right now,
- 18:16Speaker 4: and let's let the voters have a say in this.
- 18:19Speaker 4: I was very confident we would defeat her on the floor.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I got to say, I was stunned when Asaf voted no,
- 18:26Speaker 4: and I think the Democrats were too. It has never
- 18:29Speaker 4: happened since I've been on Judiciary. Republicans have done that.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Republicans did that to Trump a couple of times. There
- 18:37Speaker 4: were judges that we decided, no, that's not going to fly.
- 18:40Speaker 4: But the Democrats have never done that. And that is
- 18:43Speaker 4: a victory, a big, big victory, and I think it
- 18:47Speaker 4: shows just how extreme and out of the mainstream this
- 18:52Speaker 4: White House and Democrats and the Senate are that every
- 18:56Speaker 4: Democrat but one was prepared to move forward. By the way,
- 19:00Speaker 4: none of the Democrats argued with what I said, none
- 19:03Speaker 4: of them. None of them engaged and had an argument
- 19:06Speaker 4: on the other side, other than Durbin said, well, she
- 19:09Speaker 4: was a magistrate judge, so technically she didn't order the
- 19:13Speaker 4: guy to a women's prison. She just recommended that he
- 19:16Speaker 4: go to a women's prison, against the strenuous opposition of
- 19:18Speaker 4: Bureau of Prisons. By the way, who said that that
- 19:22Speaker 4: there was a big risk of sexual assault. But other
- 19:25Speaker 4: than that, the other Democrats all just sat there silently.
- 19:28Speaker 4: But you know what they're counting on. I want everyone
- 19:31Speaker 4: listening to this podcast to ask yourself, did you hear
- 19:34Speaker 4: about this judge on the six o'clock news nowhere?
- 19:37Speaker 3: Could you?
- 19:38Speaker 1: This is a dead story?
- 19:40Speaker 4: Did you read about it the New York Times? This
- 19:42Speaker 4: is a New York judge. Chuck Schumer picked this judge.
- 19:47Speaker 4: This is a judge who was nominated to be a
- 19:49Speaker 4: New York federal judge. She was just defeated the Senate
- 19:52Speaker 4: Judiciary Committee. Is it on the front page of the
- 19:53Speaker 4: New York Times today?
- 19:55Speaker 3: You know?
- 19:56Speaker 4: You and I are recording it on Thursday. But I'm
- 19:58Speaker 4: going to win a gazillion dollars. I don't have a
- 20:01Speaker 4: gazillion dollars, but it doesn't matter because I'm not going
- 20:03Speaker 4: to lose the wager. It's not going to be on
- 20:05Speaker 4: the front page of the New York Times. The media
- 20:08Speaker 4: doesn't want you to know about it because and by
- 20:13Speaker 4: the way, I was waiting for one of the Democrats
- 20:17Speaker 4: to self righteously say trans women are women?
- 20:20Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 20:20Speaker 5: Why are you calling him a man?
- 20:22Speaker 4: And recall when this judge was being at her hearing
- 20:26Speaker 4: and I cross examined her. She said during the hearing,
- 20:29Speaker 4: well she was entirely female. And I said, judge, really, really,
- 20:36Speaker 4: does this person have male genitalia? Well, yes, well then
- 20:43Speaker 4: he's not entirely female. Yeah, and the irony. Literally the
- 20:50Speaker 4: day before the markup, the story breaks that this guy
- 20:57Speaker 4: pulled his genitalia out and was waving in front of
- 21:00Speaker 4: the other women and harassing them and was put in
- 21:04Speaker 4: administrative segregation for doing so.
- 21:07Speaker 5: There's no surprise.
- 21:08Speaker 3: By the way. Let me ask you something.
- 21:10Speaker 4: If you're a dude and you get convicted of a
- 21:13Speaker 4: violent crime and you have a choice, do you go
- 21:17Speaker 4: to a men's prison or a women's prison? What moron
- 21:21Speaker 4: would choose to go to a men's prison?
- 21:23Speaker 2: Yeah, just on the issue of safety to yourself, right, say, hey,
- 21:28Speaker 2: I identify as a woman because you know, the chance
- 21:31Speaker 2: of you being assaulted goes significantly down.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Sure, And look the letters I read. Those letters were powerful.
- 21:39Speaker 4: And you know what, none of the Democrats in the
- 21:41Speaker 4: committee even read the damn letters. None of them cared.
- 21:44Speaker 4: I entered him into the record, I asked later, I
- 21:45Speaker 4: didn't play this, but I asked, did any of you
- 21:48Speaker 4: read the letter?
- 21:49Speaker 3: Nobody responded, They literally don't care.
- 21:52Speaker 4: They voted a confirmer anyway, And it's an example of
- 21:56Speaker 4: how the left is utterly out of touch. They do
- 21:59Speaker 4: not care about the people they're hurting, whether it's the
- 22:02Speaker 4: people who are dying from illegal immigrants that their open
- 22:05Speaker 4: borders are letting into this country, or whether it's about
- 22:08Speaker 4: the women who are being raped because the policies they
- 22:11Speaker 4: support are putting male sexual predators in female prisons. And
- 22:15Speaker 4: this is happening over and over and over again, and
- 22:17Speaker 4: not a one of them they don't mention it. They'll
- 22:21Speaker 4: just repeat their ideology trans women are women except for
- 22:24Speaker 4: the fact that they have genitalia that can rape a woman,
- 22:26Speaker 4: and they keep doing so in prison, over and over again,
- 22:29Speaker 4: setting that minor, inconvenient detail aside. Other than that, my
- 22:33Speaker 4: ideology says, go ahead.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I want to tell you about my friends at Blackout Coffee.
- 22:38Speaker 2: If you're like me and you start your morning early,
- 22:40Speaker 2: then you probably don't want just an average cup of coffee.
- 22:44Speaker 2: And if you're like me and you're sick and tired
- 22:46Speaker 2: of giving your money to companies that hate your values,
- 22:49Speaker 2: then you probably know there's a whole lot of woke
- 22:52Speaker 2: coffee companies out there.
- 22:54Speaker 1: There's some big ones.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Well, that is why I switched to Blackout Coffee, because

- 24:09Speaker 2: dot com slash Verdict promo cod Verdict for twenty percent
- 24:13Speaker 2: off your first order centater. I want to move to
- 24:16Speaker 2: the other big news that we mentioned earlier, and both
- 24:22Speaker 2: of these stories are massive. Number one, we're hearing that
- 24:26Speaker 2: Joe Biden's campaign commissioned a Trump versus Harris poll. There's
- 24:33Speaker 2: two thoughts you could go with here. One it's an
- 24:36Speaker 2: accent that it leaked, or two they did on purpose
- 24:39Speaker 2: to leak it, and they're undermining their main candidate, Joe Biden,
- 24:42Speaker 2: trying to force him out. Let me start by getting
- 24:45Speaker 2: your reaction to that.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Well, Look, I think we are seeing Joe Biden in
- 24:51Speaker 4: free fall. We're seeing Democrats turn on him every day.
- 24:54Speaker 4: We're seeing additional Democrat House members turn on him. We
- 24:58Speaker 4: saw this week Democrats Center Peter Welch come out and
- 25:01Speaker 4: say Biden shouldn't run. What we know that Democrat Senator
- 25:04Speaker 4: Mark Warner was trying to get other Democrats to do
- 25:07Speaker 4: the same. We've seen NBC turn on them, We've seen
- 25:09Speaker 4: CNN turn on them, We've seen the New York Times
- 25:11Speaker 4: turn on and we've seen George Clooney turn on him.
- 25:14Speaker 4: And it's every day you look at the campaign. So
- 25:17Speaker 4: so NBC News reported quote, no one involved in the
- 25:23Speaker 4: effort thinks he has a pass. That is a quote
- 25:27Speaker 4: from Biden campaign insiders who say the writing is on
- 25:31Speaker 4: the wall. And here's another quote quote. The Biden campaign
- 25:35Speaker 4: has started to quietly assess the viability of Harris's candidacy
- 25:39Speaker 4: against Trump in a new head to head poll. A
- 25:42Speaker 4: source familiar with the decision told NBC News Now that
- 25:45Speaker 4: means the campaign is leaking this story. Hey, we better
- 25:50Speaker 4: check out Kamala uh oh, our guy's in trouble. Let's
- 25:53Speaker 4: let's go do the polling. His own campaign team is
- 25:57Speaker 4: leaking again with him. Let's go back to that quote
- 25:59Speaker 4: from it campaign team. No one involved in the effort
- 26:04Speaker 4: thinks he has a path that ain't good.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not good.
- 26:10Speaker 2: And if they're doing this to undermine his candidacy, I
- 26:14Speaker 2: think it's also goes back to the point that we've
- 26:16Speaker 2: kind of started to witness, which is whether you're a
- 26:20Speaker 2: cabinet member or you're on the campaign, you're fighting now
- 26:24Speaker 2: for your own survival and the power and the access
- 26:26Speaker 2: to power. You don't want to lose. So if you
- 26:28Speaker 2: think you're going to lose with Joe Biden, then why
- 26:31Speaker 2: not throw a poll out there for COMMA and see
- 26:34Speaker 2: if that gives you a better result, which means you
- 26:36Speaker 2: get to keep your job in an administration.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Yeah, look, this is all about power, and you know
- 26:43Speaker 4: we mentioned also there was the bombshell story this week
- 26:46Speaker 4: that again is not getting a ton of coverage, but
- 26:48Speaker 4: there has not been a single cabinet meeting in eight months.
- 26:54Speaker 4: That that is bizarre that there hasn't been a cabinet meeting.
- 26:57Speaker 4: The cabinet doesn't meet and in the last last full
- 27:00Speaker 4: cabinet meeting took place on October second, twenty twenty three.
- 27:05Speaker 4: And not only that, there's a story from CNN quote
- 27:13Speaker 4: back in Washington. There have been clear signs throughout his
- 27:15Speaker 4: term of Biden being increasingly stage managed, with lists of
- 27:19Speaker 4: talking points, names of questioners, and drawings of where he
- 27:22Speaker 4: should walk presented to him by aids ahead of closed
- 27:25Speaker 4: door cabinet meetings that Biden attends. It is customary for
- 27:29Speaker 4: cabinet officials to submit questions and key talking points that
- 27:33Speaker 4: they plan to present in front of Biden ahead of
- 27:36Speaker 4: time to White House aids. Two sources with direct knowledge
- 27:41Speaker 4: told CNN, quote the entire display is kind of an act.
- 27:45Speaker 4: One of those sources told CNN they would come and say, hey,
- 27:50Speaker 4: the President is going to call on you in about
- 27:52Speaker 4: twenty five minutes and ask this question, what are the
- 27:55Speaker 4: bullet points you'll respond with. The second source, who echoed
- 27:59Speaker 4: the same description, said that when Biden attends cabinet meetings,
- 28:03Speaker 4: they are quote not free wheeling and pretty well orchestrated,
- 28:08Speaker 4: and the meetings themselves are infrequent, with one cabinet secretary
- 28:11Speaker 4: telling CNN they are uncertain of Biden's condition because they
- 28:17Speaker 4: so rarely see him.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Wow, there now is a real question about the twenty
- 28:24Speaker 2: fifth Amendment being a possibility. Remember this was something that
- 28:30Speaker 2: Democrats were obsessed with with Donald Trump. I want to
- 28:34Speaker 2: just remind people back in two thousand in seventeen, this
- 28:40Speaker 2: is what Democrats were saying on TV.
- 28:43Speaker 6: This is scary hashtag twenty fifth Amendment.
- 28:46Speaker 7: President is not equipped to do with the job.
- 28:50Speaker 2: So now they're saying he's mentally incapacitated, and more than
- 28:54Speaker 2: two dozen Democratic lawmakers are backing a bill that says
- 28:57Speaker 2: he should leave office.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Should he be removed, his brain.
- 29:01Speaker 7: Is simply incapable of processing the information, emotionally psychologically unstable,
- 29:05Speaker 7: initiate proceedings to remove the president.
- 29:08Speaker 6: You and several of your Democratic House colleagues met with
- 29:11Speaker 6: a psychiatry professor from Yale, doctor Bandy Lee. She holds
- 29:15Speaker 6: an end today quote as the president is unraveling. He
- 29:18Speaker 6: seems to be losing his grip on reality and reverting
- 29:21Speaker 6: to conspiracy theories.
- 29:22Speaker 8: Doctor Lee and other psychiatrists who've been up to meet
- 29:25Speaker 8: with members of Congress have been predicting increasingly delusional and
- 29:30Speaker 8: heronoid behavior on the part of the president. The president
- 29:34Speaker 8: is dangerous and unable to successfully meet the powers and
- 29:37Speaker 8: duties of office.
- 29:38Speaker 2: That was twenty seventeen, not about Joe Biden, but about
- 29:42Speaker 2: what's amazing.
- 29:43Speaker 4: You could imagine every one of those quotes about Joe Biden. Yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 4: and those quotes I think didn't happen to mention other
- 29:50Speaker 4: than maybe the first one Trump's name. And so if
- 29:53Speaker 4: someone just heard that snippet, they might say, wow, the
- 29:56Speaker 4: d's are ready to invoke the twenty fifth Amendment. I
- 29:58Speaker 4: got to say, look, the fact that the CNN story
- 30:03Speaker 4: is quoted is leaking from the cabinet.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Well, and this goes to reporting today from CNN. Here
- 30:11Speaker 2: is the bombshell sea and report that cabinet secretaries not
- 30:15Speaker 2: only so many questions, but my question now is is
- 30:18Speaker 2: this being done on purpose so that they may actually
- 30:21Speaker 2: start talking about the twenty fifth Amendment. Listen to how
- 30:24Speaker 2: CNN blew this up today at.
- 30:26Speaker 9: The White House perspective now with CNN's MJ.
- 30:28Speaker 5: Lee.
- 30:28Speaker 9: Who's there for is MJ you and your colleagues have
- 30:32Speaker 9: some reporting on the mood behind the scenes.
- 30:35Speaker 1: What are you hearing from your sources?
- 30:37Speaker 7: Well, boris there's certainly been a lot of confusion and
- 30:40Speaker 7: anger and sadness inside the White House, across the administration,
- 30:44Speaker 7: the campaign, and across the Democratic Party more broadly since
- 30:48Speaker 7: the President's really halting and shocking debate performance. My colleagues
- 30:53Speaker 7: and I have spoken over the course of the last
- 30:55Speaker 7: two weeks to dozens of Democratic sources, including I should
- 30:59Speaker 7: note senior Democrats who have spent real time with the
- 31:02Speaker 7: president and in some cases have known the president for
- 31:06Speaker 7: years and What has been striking is that none of
- 31:09Speaker 7: them had ever seen this version of President Biden that
- 31:12Speaker 7: we all saw on the debate stage that was so
- 31:16Speaker 7: faltering and days and plenty of officials that we spoke
- 31:20Speaker 7: with said, look, of course, we've known that the president
- 31:23Speaker 7: has aged. He is certainly not the same person that
- 31:26Speaker 7: we know from say, a year ago. But what they
- 31:31Speaker 7: had said, and that was so noteworthy, is that they
- 31:34Speaker 7: said they couldn't have possibly known about the full extent
- 31:38Speaker 7: of the president's decline. And what many of them blame
- 31:41Speaker 7: at this point is this apparatus and daily operation that
- 31:45Speaker 7: is built around the president that is so painfully choreographed
- 31:49Speaker 7: and stage managed. They said, that is designed to prevent
- 31:52Speaker 7: the president from being often out in these unscripted settings
- 31:58Speaker 7: for an extended period of time, and that really what
- 32:01Speaker 7: that meant was that only a small circle of inner
- 32:05Speaker 7: circle of advisors and perhaps family members could have known
- 32:09Speaker 7: about sort of this full picture of the president's condition.
- 32:13Speaker 7: Just one example that is in our story is that,
- 32:17Speaker 7: according to two sources, before cabinet meetings that the president attends,
- 32:22Speaker 7: cabinet officials will submit their questions and talking points, key
- 32:27Speaker 7: talking points and bulletpoints that they plan to present to
- 32:30Speaker 7: the president in these closed door meetings. This is how
- 32:33Speaker 7: one source described it. They said, the entire display is
- 32:36Speaker 7: kind of an act. They would come and say, Hey,
- 32:38Speaker 7: the President is going to call on you about twenty
- 32:41Speaker 7: five minutes in and ask this question, what are the
- 32:43Speaker 7: bullet points that you'll respond with. Now, the White House's
- 32:46Speaker 7: defense has been that that is standard practice for any administration.
- 32:50Speaker 7: They said, in a setting like this, you never want
- 32:52Speaker 7: the president to be not aware of what is going
- 32:57Speaker 7: to be discussed.
- 32:58Speaker 2: They you look at this senator, I sit there and
- 33:02Speaker 2: I'm like, Okay, You've got people that serve at the
- 33:05Speaker 2: pleasure of the president who are now looking out for
- 33:08Speaker 2: their own best interests.
- 33:10Speaker 1: They don't want to lose their power.
- 33:12Speaker 2: You got people on his campaign that apparently have the
- 33:15Speaker 2: same mentality as these cabinet members. And all the leaks
- 33:19Speaker 2: about Joe Biden are coming from within. Now you can't
- 33:23Speaker 2: control them. White House leaks destroy presidencies. And now it's like,
- 33:30Speaker 2: if you're leaking this and you're a senior cabinet member,
- 33:33Speaker 2: are you doing it to prep the country for possibly
- 33:36Speaker 2: the twenty fifth.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Look, I think that prospect is rising. I got to say, also,
- 33:41Speaker 4: the White House Defense. Well, this is standard operating procedure.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Listen.
- 33:45Speaker 4: I have been in literally hundreds of meetings with presidents,
- 33:51Speaker 4: whether Donald Trump or Barack Obama, and I've never been
- 33:56Speaker 4: in one meeting where we had talking points and it
- 33:59Speaker 4: was it was choreographed. That doesn't happen. I talked to
- 34:03Speaker 4: Donald Trump a couple of days on the go in
- 34:04Speaker 4: the phone call. He didn't know what I was going
- 34:06Speaker 4: to say. I didn't know what he was gonna say,
- 34:08Speaker 4: because you're talking to an actual human being. Every day
- 34:11Speaker 4: when senators meet, we don't read scripts. Would you'd like
- 34:15Speaker 4: to do this job? You actually have to be able
- 34:17Speaker 4: to talk about colleagues and say okay, what's going on,
- 34:19Speaker 4: and ask questions and discuss things. Now, look, you'll read
- 34:22Speaker 4: a speech that's commonplace, but at a meeting, a cabinet
- 34:25Speaker 4: meeting where they're supposed to be your top advisors. I
- 34:28Speaker 4: meet with my senior staff every week. My senior staff
- 34:31Speaker 4: don't come in. I don't ask them give me the
- 34:34Speaker 4: talking points of what you're gonna say before you say it.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Because professionals are able to have a conversation, listen and
- 34:42Speaker 4: process information, and by the way, then ask follow up questions,
- 34:46Speaker 4: what about this? Well, should we do this? What do
- 34:48Speaker 4: you think about this? Okay, let's go down this direction.
- 34:51Speaker 4: That's actually the way presidents operate. I've been in bunches
- 34:56Speaker 4: of free flowing presidential meetings with Trump. Or we'd be
- 34:58Speaker 4: all over the place and you had a peace we'll
- 35:00Speaker 4: argue on one side and arguing the other, and trumple
- 35:02Speaker 4: say what about this? And I mean we would you know.
- 35:05Speaker 4: I've been up in the White House residence with him
- 35:07Speaker 4: and a couple other senators, with people screaming at each
- 35:09Speaker 4: other till ten ten thirty at night. That is dramatically
- 35:14Speaker 4: different from the kabuki theater that Joe Biden was putting on.
- 35:18Speaker 5: Now.
- 35:18Speaker 4: To be clear, his entire cabinet was complicit, His entire
- 35:21Speaker 4: White House staff was complicit. The Democrats in Congress were complicit.
- 35:25Speaker 4: They all knew this. They're all saying, gosh, we're shocked,
- 35:28Speaker 4: just absolutely shocked. I've told you Biden won't meet with
- 35:31Speaker 4: Republican senators. That's been true for three and a half years.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I haven't had any meeting with President.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Remembers now, right, Yeah, it's not just you guys, it's
- 35:37Speaker 2: now the cabinet. He won't even meet with yet.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Look, when Republican senators meet to have lunch, we talk
- 35:43Speaker 4: about how weird it is that we haven't talked to
- 35:46Speaker 4: Joe Biden.
- 35:46Speaker 5: We all know Joe.
- 35:47Speaker 4: He was a man of the Senate for forty years,
- 35:50Speaker 4: but they won't let him meet with us. Because this
- 35:54Speaker 4: has been obvious for three and a half years. And
- 35:57Speaker 4: the media, the Democrats, they were all complete until the
- 36:01Speaker 4: debate thrust it unavoidably in front of the public, and
- 36:05Speaker 4: now they're all running scared.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Does this change the calculus in your mind for Democrats
- 36:10Speaker 2: moving forward? I mean I thought by the end of
- 36:13Speaker 2: this week they would get back in line behind him.
- 36:17Speaker 2: We don't seem to have that happening at all. And
- 36:22Speaker 2: it now seems that from within are the people that
- 36:26Speaker 2: are hurting him the most.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I'll give you an example.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Jake Tamper went on his show on CNN today and
- 36:32Speaker 2: this is what he said.
- 36:33Speaker 6: Let's bring in our panel. And on that note, I
- 36:36Speaker 6: want to share something with you all that a longtime
- 36:39Speaker 6: Biden advisor just texted me. Okay, he or she said, quote,
- 36:45Speaker 6: I just think there's an unfortunate inevitability to all this.
- 36:49Speaker 6: I am sad because I've known him a long time,
- 36:51Speaker 6: and he's a good man. I'm angry at his inner
- 36:54Speaker 6: circle who have not served him well and at times
- 36:57Speaker 6: committed malpractice in their service. And I am frustrated at
- 37:00Speaker 6: the family, the Biden family, for not expanding the circle
- 37:03Speaker 6: so there would be at least a truthteller or two
- 37:07Speaker 6: in their midst They created a perfect storm of an
- 37:10Speaker 6: echo chamber, and it is biting them all in the ass. Again,
- 37:15Speaker 6: as with MJ. Apologies for the salty language, but this
- 37:18Speaker 6: is the extent of the frustration, Gloria, your reaction.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I get this is Jake Tapper. He's not burning somebody.
- 37:26Speaker 2: This advisor, this long time advisor, I think made it
- 37:30Speaker 2: very clear that.
- 37:33Speaker 4: For well, listen, listen like Ron go on TV yet listen.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Ron Klain sent that text expecting that Jake Tapper would
- 37:42Speaker 4: would read it on air.
- 37:43Speaker 3: And by the way, I don't know it was Ron Klain.
- 37:45Speaker 3: I'm just just picking up.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, whoever did, I said, go on air
- 37:49Speaker 2: and read this. I'm letting you do it.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Look, you don't send it to Jake Tapper without expecting
- 37:54Speaker 4: that he's going to repeat it. That's why you're sending it.
- 37:56Speaker 4: And look, the press is turning on him. Remember like
- 38:01Speaker 4: twelve minutes ago, where the corporate media would say it's
- 38:05Speaker 4: a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory when you say that Obama's
- 38:09Speaker 4: running things. We've said a number of times in this
- 38:11Speaker 4: podcast that it's Obama's pulling the strings.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I want you to listen to.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Morning Joe talking about who's really behind everything right now,
- 38:21Speaker 4: give a.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Listen Before I play that, I want to tell you
- 38:24Speaker 2: about our friends of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Since the start of the Sword of Iron War in
- 38:29Speaker 2: Israel in October seventh, we have seen death and destruction
- 38:33Speaker 2: in the Holy Land, and for more than forty years,
- 38:35Speaker 2: the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has been on
- 38:38Speaker 2: the ground in Israel and within hours of the war starting,
- 38:41Speaker 2: and everyday since, they've been feeding the hungry and protecting
- 38:44Speaker 2: the vulnerable. The attacks continue in the north, in the South,
- 38:48Speaker 2: in Israel, but there are resilient survivors who bravely share
- 38:51Speaker 2: their stories in a series the Fellowship calls Faces of Iron.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I want you to hear their stories because so many
- 39:00Speaker 2: in the media have not been covering them. Survivors, for example,
- 39:04Speaker 2: like Danny, whose beloved daughter and her husband were burned
- 39:07Speaker 2: alive on October seventh by hamas teris need to be
- 39:10Speaker 2: heard by the world. Danny is a commander of the
- 39:13Speaker 2: volunteer fire and rescue in his community. Despite fire equipment nearby,
- 39:17Speaker 2: Danny could do nothing as his daughter's house burned and
- 39:20Speaker 2: his daughter and her husband lost their lives. Christians like
- 39:24Speaker 2: you support Israel through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Is this support that helps these survivors remain steadfast and strong.
- 39:32Speaker 2: I want you to hear more of their stories like
- 39:34Speaker 2: the one I just mentioned, and I want you to
- 39:36Speaker 2: share your support for Israel.
- 39:38Speaker 1: And stand with the people of Israel.
- 39:40Speaker 2: All you have to do to hear these stories and
- 39:42Speaker 2: spread them on social media is go to support IFCJ
- 39:46Speaker 2: dot org. That's support IFCJ dot org. Here's that clip
- 39:52Speaker 2: center that you mentioned a moment ago morning, Joe.
- 39:55Speaker 8: Hey.
- 39:55Speaker 9: One thing that we do have to underline here just
- 39:57Speaker 9: so viewers can can follow what's going on behind the scenes,
- 40:02Speaker 9: is is the Biden campaign and many Democratic officials do
- 40:09Speaker 9: believe that Barack Obama is quietly working behind the scenes
- 40:15Speaker 9: to orchestrate this.
- 40:18Speaker 4: I mean, if you and I had said that a
- 40:22Speaker 4: month ago, they would go crazy, They would mock us.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Not now I want to play also what Mika Berzinski
- 40:28Speaker 4: said about the George Clooney op ed, because that's just
- 40:31Speaker 4: give a listen to what Mika says, Yes, this doesn't
- 40:34Speaker 4: George Clooney, but but well, what do you.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Mean it just buzzn't? Come on?
- 40:39Speaker 5: Well, who do you think it was?
- 40:41Speaker 4: Matt?
- 40:41Speaker 1: It was not Matt Damon, It wasn't Julia Roberts.
- 40:45Speaker 9: Who do you think it was? You can say the name,
- 40:48Speaker 9: It's not Baltimore. Are you saying you think Barack Obama
- 40:52Speaker 9: put him up to this?
- 40:53Speaker 2: I think that Barack Obama has a lot of influence,
- 40:57Speaker 2: and I think.
- 40:58Speaker 1: That there's uh, there's a lot there, There's a lot.
- 41:03Speaker 2: There, there's a lot there, there's a lot there.
- 41:05Speaker 9: Really, there are two people in this picture, and one
- 41:09Speaker 9: has had a presidency that was absolutely undeniably historic. Well,
- 41:17Speaker 9: I think you have two people that had extraordinarily at historic.
- 41:22Speaker 6: In terms of legislative accomplishments.
- 41:25Speaker 9: Well, you say, and they're both historic, and they're both historic,
- 41:29Speaker 9: and Barack Obama for sure Hordable Care Act. George, I
- 41:33Speaker 9: mean not George Cliney. You know he probably said it too.
- 41:36Speaker 9: Willie but Joe Biden actually whispered that that was a
- 41:39Speaker 9: big deal, effing dial.
- 41:44Speaker 2: This is the conversation they're having on MSNBC as George
- 41:49Speaker 2: Quinney comes out, I love Joe Biden, but we need
- 41:51Speaker 2: a new nominee.
- 41:53Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 41:54Speaker 4: And to be clear, Politico also reported quote before Hollywood
- 41:58Speaker 4: icon and Democratic donor George He published his buzzy and
- 42:01Speaker 4: brutal New York Times op ed yesterday calling on Biden
- 42:04Speaker 4: to step aside as the nominee. We're told he reached
- 42:07Speaker 4: out to former President Barack Obama to give him the
- 42:10Speaker 4: heads up. The two men, who are friendly, both attended
- 42:13Speaker 4: the LA fundraiser Clooney referenced in his piece where the
- 42:15Speaker 4: actor said he'd beheld a diminished Biden and that the
- 42:19Speaker 4: leader he interacted with was quote the same man we
- 42:22Speaker 4: all witnessed at the debate. While Obama did not encourage
- 42:26Speaker 4: or advise Clooney to said what he said, he also
- 42:29Speaker 4: didn't object to it were told from people familiar with
- 42:33Speaker 4: their exchange. The lack of pushback is an eye popping revelation,
- 42:38Speaker 4: given that the former president was one of the first
- 42:40Speaker 4: big voices defending Biden following his abysmal debate performance, while
- 42:44Speaker 4: many of his former aides have been some of the
- 42:46Speaker 4: incumbent's biggest critics. Again, if you and I said that
- 42:51Speaker 4: twelve minutes ago, they would have fitted us for the
- 42:54Speaker 4: tinfoil hats and said we were loons. And now every
- 42:57Speaker 4: one of them is saying, this is Barack Obama pulling string.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll get ready.
- 43:02Speaker 2: It's civil war and it is not calming down within
- 43:05Speaker 2: the Democratic Party. Don't forget. We do the show Monday,
- 43:07Speaker 2: Wednesday and Friday. Please hit that subscribe or auto download button.
- 43:12Speaker 2: And if you'll share this podcast to get the news
- 43:14Speaker 2: out about the incredible defeat of this radical judge. No
- 43:18Speaker 2: one else is covering it. Put it up on social
- 43:20Speaker 2: media wherever you are on social media and the center
- 43:22Speaker 2: and I will see you back here in a couple
- 43:24Speaker 2: of days.
