- 0:00Speaker 1: We are now seeing what happens when America becomes weak,
- 0:04Speaker 1: specifically on the end issue of energy and dependence. It's
- 0:08Speaker 1: not just that it costs you an insane amount of
- 0:10Speaker 1: money now to fill up your car, but it also
- 0:13Speaker 1: emboldens those that have a significant amount of oil and
- 0:16Speaker 1: gas to export. It makes them more money, It allows
- 0:20Speaker 1: them to have power over people and to hurt them
- 0:25Speaker 1: in their economies. It allows for evil people, whether it's
- 0:29Speaker 1: Vladimir Putin or Iran, to have control also over other countries. Yes,
- 0:37Speaker 1: you heard me right, over other countries. Let me give
- 0:42Speaker 1: you two examples of just how stupid Joe Biden is
- 0:47Speaker 1: and how stupid the Biden administration is for virtually shutting
- 0:50Speaker 1: down all new drilling in America, shutting down the Keystone pipeline,
- 0:55Speaker 1: and also allowing and advocating for that pipeline coming out
- 0:59Speaker 1: of Russia. Now, if you are in another country, and
- 1:03Speaker 1: this is a conversation that is really important. As I
- 1:06Speaker 1: am going to be in Budapest speaking at a conference
- 1:10Speaker 1: on freedom this week and talking, I'll actually be meeting
- 1:14Speaker 1: with a president of Hungary, having an event with him,
- 1:19Speaker 1: a private event, because countries like Hungary are trying to
- 1:23Speaker 1: figure out what they're going to do all right quickly.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I also want to say thank you to our sponsor.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Without them, this podcast wouldn't exist. And Legacy Precious Metals
- 1:32Speaker 1: is wanting to help you diversify your financial portfolio. If
- 1:36Speaker 1: you've been freaking out over what's happening with your IRA,
- 1:39Speaker 1: with your four O one K, with your investments on
- 1:41Speaker 1: Wall Street, the question is did you invest in gold
- 1:45Speaker 1: or silver? Did you diversify your investments so that there
- 1:49Speaker 1: is a hedge with your portfolio for inflation. Well, that's
- 1:53Speaker 1: exactly what gold and silver has done for so many
- 1:56Speaker 1: It is a hedge to protect when it comes to inflation.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Right now is actually a great time for you to
- 2:05Speaker 1: protect your investments with gold and silver. No, you didn't
- 2:08Speaker 1: miss the opportunity. No, it's not too late. So calling

- 2:43Speaker 1: this podcast on social media by hitting that little forward
- 2:46Speaker 1: button right now. Now. Hungary is obviously a little bit
- 2:50Speaker 1: different than the United States of America. Right there, right
- 2:52Speaker 1: next to Russia. They share a border with Ukraine. And
- 2:58Speaker 1: when you share a border with Ukraine and you share
- 3:01Speaker 1: a border that is so close to other countries that
- 3:04Speaker 1: are under the influence of Russia, a little bit different
- 3:09Speaker 1: strategy when you're standing up to people like Vladimir Putin
- 3:12Speaker 1: and everybody that should understand that, and now they're trying
- 3:14Speaker 1: to figure out what is their next move. Now. I
- 3:18Speaker 1: bring this up because there's two major headlines right now
- 3:21Speaker 1: that show you just how stupid our administration is. Now, remember,
- 3:25Speaker 1: if we maximize our oil production, not only could we
- 3:28Speaker 1: lower the price of gas probably by fifty sixty percent
- 3:31Speaker 1: in America, which would help every American out, but also
- 3:35Speaker 1: it would lower the price for oil and gas and
- 3:36Speaker 1: the availability for other countries who can then maybe stand
- 3:39Speaker 1: up to Vladimir Putin and say, hey, you can screw
- 3:42Speaker 1: with us, but we've got other options on the world market.
- 3:47Speaker 1: How evil is Russia? Right now a Russian owned energy
- 3:52Speaker 1: company has just shut off electricity to Finland. That's right,
- 3:57Speaker 1: Russian energy company are a Nordic last night shut off
- 4:03Speaker 1: electricity supplies to neighboring Finland over what they claim it
- 4:08Speaker 1: had to do because they quoted not received payments from
- 4:13Speaker 1: Finland due to sanctions. Rayo Nordic, a subsidiary of the
- 4:18Speaker 1: subsidiary of the Russian energy company inter Rayo, suspended the
- 4:23Speaker 1: export of electricity, according to an announcement made by Finland's
- 4:28Speaker 1: majority state owned national electricity transmission grid operator finn Grid.
- 4:34Speaker 1: In practice, a notification means that there will be no
- 4:37Speaker 1: Russian electricity in Finland at all for the time being.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Around ten percent of Finland's electricity is imported from Russia,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but Fingrand has claimed that the Finns electricity needs will
- 4:49Speaker 1: still be met even if no electricity is being imported
- 4:53Speaker 1: from Russia at all. This is a big problem. It
- 4:57Speaker 1: is of course spring summer and the amount of consumption
- 5:00Speaker 1: and has decreased from the peak winter consumption where you
- 5:05Speaker 1: need massive amounts of electricity to keep your homes warm.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Finland will not just what will do? Just fine? They say,
- 5:13Speaker 1: Without Russian electricity at least for the summer, but what
- 5:16Speaker 1: happens in the winter. They say replacement electricity comes from
- 5:20Speaker 1: domestic production or imports, mainly from Sweden and the Baltics,
- 5:24Speaker 1: and they are working on that, they say immediately. Rayo
- 5:28Speaker 1: Nordic has claimed that the shutoff is related to missing payments,
- 5:32Speaker 1: saying due to problems and receiving payments for electricity sold
- 5:37Speaker 1: on the market, further, direct or bilateral sales of electricity
- 5:40Speaker 1: imported from Russia will be halted until further notice. Others
- 5:45Speaker 1: have raised questions about the timing of the electricity shut off,
- 5:48Speaker 1: including the CEO of the Energy Industry Association, who said
- 5:52Speaker 1: the move may have been tied to Finland's possible joining
- 5:57Speaker 1: the NATO Alliance, after Finland's president and prime minister announced
- 6:01Speaker 1: they backed the country joining NATO last week, which is
- 6:04Speaker 1: exactly what this is related to, make no mistake about it.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Russia has previously expressed its pleasure about both Finland and
- 6:12Speaker 1: Sweden potentially joining NATO. Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on
- 6:18Speaker 1: the issue Monday, saying, quote, as the enlargement, Russia has
- 6:23Speaker 1: no problem with these states none, and so in this sense,
- 6:29Speaker 1: there is no immediate threat to Russia from an expansion
- 6:32Speaker 1: of NATO to include these countries. Natural gas prices if skyrocketed,
- 6:37Speaker 1: by the way, after Russia said it would no longer
- 6:39Speaker 1: since applies to Europe via pipeline through Poland, citing the
- 6:43Speaker 1: new sanctions as well, and what is the administration doing
- 6:48Speaker 1: to help ease attentions? Are we upping our production? No,
- 6:52Speaker 1: In fact, we're banning more drilling now as prices are skyrocketing.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Putin also went on to add, but the expansion of
- 7:00Speaker 1: military infrastructure into this territory would certainly provoke our response. So,
- 7:06Speaker 1: in other words, if you think NATO's going to save you,
- 7:08Speaker 1: guess what they're not. Our response will be and what
- 7:13Speaker 1: we see of the threats that are created for us
- 7:16Speaker 1: will be appropriate. And the move by Rayo Nordic to
- 7:20Speaker 1: cut off supplies to Finland comes as Russian energy giant
- 7:25Speaker 1: also announced gas Prom that it would no longer be
- 7:29Speaker 1: sending exported gas to Europe through the Yamal pipeline, which
- 7:34Speaker 1: goes through Poland to reach Germany, the largest import of
- 7:37Speaker 1: Russian gas in Europe. Quota ban is in place on
- 7:42Speaker 1: making transactions with and payments to persons under sanctions in
- 7:47Speaker 1: particular for gas Prom. This means a ban on the
- 7:50Speaker 1: use of a gas pipeline owned by the Polish company
- 7:54Speaker 1: to transport Russian gas through Poland, is what the representative
- 7:58Speaker 1: Sergey stated now. Earlier this year, following the sanctions and
- 8:02Speaker 1: acted after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, present Putin announced
- 8:05Speaker 1: that quote unfriendly nations would be forced to pay for
- 8:08Speaker 1: energy and rubles rather than euros or dollars. Guys. Prom
- 8:13Speaker 1: Bank later announced a scheme to allow countries to deposit
- 8:17Speaker 1: euros and dollars and the bank would then convert the
- 8:20Speaker 1: money to rubles and transfer the rubles to a new account,
- 8:23Speaker 1: which will then be used to pay for the energy.
- 8:26Speaker 1: No big deal, will just get workarounds right. Several countries,
- 8:30Speaker 1: such as an Italian energy giant Inny and others, are
- 8:34Speaker 1: rumored to have been preparing late last month to open
- 8:37Speaker 1: accounts in rubles in order to take part in the scheme,
- 8:40Speaker 1: which allegedly allowed firms to avoid breaking sanctions. These major
- 8:45Speaker 1: energy firms in Italy, Germany and elsewhere in Europe are
- 8:48Speaker 1: allegedly preparing to open these accounts because they don't care
- 8:51Speaker 1: about what Vladimir Putin is doing. They just want the energy. Now.
- 8:56Speaker 1: What also is concerning is not only as Russia's ended
- 9:00Speaker 1: the Yamal pipeline gas that it delivers to Europe, but
- 9:04Speaker 1: the prices have soared on this news, and not just
- 9:09Speaker 1: in Berlin. This headline coming out of Berlin from the
- 9:12Speaker 1: Apiece as natural gas prices rose Friday after Russian stayed
- 9:16Speaker 1: on exporter said it would no longer since supplies to
- 9:18Speaker 1: Europe via pipeline in Poland, citing the new sanctions at
- 9:21Speaker 1: Moscow imposed on European energy companies. The move doesn't immediately
- 9:26Speaker 1: block large amounts of natural gas to Europe, but intensifies
- 9:29Speaker 1: fears that the war in Ukraine will lead to wide
- 9:32Speaker 1: ranging cutoffs. They said it would ban the use of
- 9:35Speaker 1: the pipeline gas prom that reaches Germany through Poland. While
- 9:40Speaker 1: that cuts the supply route to Europe, the pipeline's entry
- 9:44Speaker 1: point to Germany has not been used in recent months.
- 9:47Speaker 1: They say they've already cut off gas to Poland for
- 9:50Speaker 1: refusing to meet Moscow's demand to make payments and rubles,
- 9:52Speaker 1: which now they're quote working on. What does this mean
- 9:57Speaker 1: for you in America? You're paying more for gas right
- 9:59Speaker 1: now than you've ever paid in your life. Gas is
- 10:05Speaker 1: up an astronomical forty six point nine percent since last year,
- 10:11Speaker 1: but that's not the only thing going up. Listen to
- 10:13Speaker 1: their report from this morning, Michael, I suppose they could
- 10:17Speaker 1: be worse, but they're certainly not good. At this Manhattan
- 10:19Speaker 1: mobile six dollars and nineteen cents for a gallon of regular.
- 10:23Speaker 1: That's the same as it was yesterday, and nationally this morning,
- 10:26Speaker 1: the average has ended up just one and a half cents.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It's four dollars and forty one cents on average across
- 10:31Speaker 1: the country right now, which is maybe a slight increase,
- 10:34Speaker 1: it's still a record high. And looking at this big picture,
- 10:37Speaker 1: gas prices have climbed an astronomical forty six point nine
- 10:41Speaker 1: percent since the pandemic prices last year. Now, this new
- 10:45Speaker 1: government inflation report showed in general prices are up eight
- 10:48Speaker 1: point three percent compared to a year ago. That is
- 10:50Speaker 1: a slight slowdown from last month when prices were up
- 10:53Speaker 1: eight point five percent. This was the first inflation decline
- 10:56Speaker 1: actually that we've seen in eight months. But this is
- 10:58Speaker 1: still near a forty year high we're talking about, and
- 11:01Speaker 1: it was less of a decrease than experts expected. Now,
- 11:04Speaker 1: the biggest contributors are in areas that are impacting a
- 11:06Speaker 1: whole lot of us. We're talking about shelter and rent prices, food,
- 11:10Speaker 1: airline fares, and new vehicles to Groceries specifically are up
- 11:14Speaker 1: ten point eight percent in the past year. Everyone's noticing
- 11:17Speaker 1: that eggs are up nearly twenty three percent, chickens up
- 11:20Speaker 1: more than sixteen percent, milk is up nearly fifteen percent.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I love how they're actually having to admit what's happening
- 11:26Speaker 1: with inflation in this country. Bide inflation. Eggs up twenty
- 11:30Speaker 1: two point six percent, chicken up sixteen point four percent,
- 11:33Speaker 1: milk up fourteen point seven percent, groceries in general up
- 11:37Speaker 1: eleven percent in the past year, and gas prices are
- 11:40Speaker 1: up in astronomical forty six point nine percent. So what
- 11:44Speaker 1: are we doing? This administration has been banning oil and
- 11:46Speaker 1: gas drilling and not giving out new leases, and now
- 11:50Speaker 1: this report does signal we may have now hit the
- 11:53Speaker 1: peak of inflation. But there's still I love that now
- 11:57Speaker 1: says there is a chance that we may have hit
- 12:01Speaker 1: our peak, right, may have hit our peak with inflation,
- 12:06Speaker 1: So get excited like we may have hit the top.
- 12:08Speaker 1: There's no indication, by the way, that we've actually hit
- 12:11Speaker 1: the top, all right now, Nancy Pelosi came out yesterday
- 12:17Speaker 1: and said, the real problem is price gouging needs to
- 12:19Speaker 1: be stopped in order to lower gas prices. There is
- 12:23Speaker 1: not a single accusation being made anywhere that there's price gouging.
- 12:28Speaker 1: But this is when you lie so you don't have
- 12:30Speaker 1: to take responsibility for what you have done. You make
- 12:34Speaker 1: up something that's not happening. You tell people this is
- 12:37Speaker 1: price gouging. The government's here to fix your problem, when
- 12:40Speaker 1: the government actually has created this problem and continues to
- 12:43Speaker 1: support this problem each and every day because of your
- 12:45Speaker 1: policies this year alone, again and again, we see gas
- 12:50Speaker 1: prices rise. Sometimes when the cost of oil a ghost
- 12:55Speaker 1: debt drops, oil prices drop, and price gauging needs to
- 12:59Speaker 1: be stopped. This is a major exploitation of the consumer
- 13:05Speaker 1: because this is a product the consumer must have. Again,
- 13:12Speaker 1: the putin tax hike at the pump is a part
- 13:17Speaker 1: of this, and you would think that the oil companies
- 13:20Speaker 1: would compensate for that rather than exploit the opportunity. So
- 13:27Speaker 1: she's obviously making that crap up as she goes. It's
- 13:32Speaker 1: a putin tax cut, I mean tax hike at the pump, right,
- 13:37Speaker 1: gouging needs to be stopped in order to lower gas prices. Okay,
- 13:40Speaker 1: where is the gouging happening now? Joe Biden came out
- 13:47Speaker 1: and he also said the same thing. He said exactly
- 13:51Speaker 1: what Polus he said. So this is obviously their plan, right.
- 13:55Speaker 1: We need to tax the wealthy and stop price gouging
- 13:58Speaker 1: in order to fight inflation. As I said when I
- 14:02Speaker 1: came to what Congress and the President can do to
- 14:06Speaker 1: fight inflation, Americans have two potential to pass forward. The
- 14:10Speaker 1: first is My plan and Democratic Plan plan put forward
- 14:14Speaker 1: by Congression Republicans as a second alternative, Here's how each
- 14:17Speaker 1: of us would take tackle inflation. My plan is the
- 14:21Speaker 1: lower employer and lower every day it costs for every
- 14:24Speaker 1: day costs for hard work in Americans, and lower the
- 14:27Speaker 1: deficit by asking large corporations and the wealthiest Americans to
- 14:32Speaker 1: not engage in price cougy and to pay their fair
- 14:35Speaker 1: share in taxes. The Republican plan is to increase taxes
- 14:39Speaker 1: on the middle class, families, led billionaires, and large companies
- 14:43Speaker 1: off the hook. By the way, that's a lie. He
- 14:45Speaker 1: just lied there. You'd think the fact checkers would run
- 14:47Speaker 1: out or the media right and say, well, that's not true.
- 14:50Speaker 1: The Republicans haven't proposed any of that. Why are you
- 14:52Speaker 1: saying it now. We'll let it go because let's lie
- 14:54Speaker 1: the American people as they raise raise prices and reprofits
- 14:58Speaker 1: and record number, record amounts. I'm just glad. It can
- 15:02Speaker 1: barely get through this interview, right, I mean this teleprompter
- 15:05Speaker 1: that he's talking from right now. He can't even get
- 15:07Speaker 1: the words right with a teleprompter. And it's really that simple.
- 15:11Speaker 1: But let me explain why this choice is so important.
- 15:14Speaker 1: It's truly, that's simple, folks. We need to tax the
- 15:17Speaker 1: wealthy and stop price gouging in order to fight inflation.
- 15:20Speaker 1: This is all someone else's fault. This is not my policies.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with what I've done. This
- 15:25Speaker 1: has nothing to do with what's happening around the world
- 15:28Speaker 1: and the fact that we have limited our supply of
- 15:30Speaker 1: oil and gas that we can admit manufacture here to
- 15:33Speaker 1: become energy independent. You have to understand Democrats are cheering
- 15:39Speaker 1: these high prices right now, and the reason why they
- 15:43Speaker 1: are cheering these high prices is because they believe this
- 15:47Speaker 1: will force you into submission to go out there and
- 15:52Speaker 1: to grab a hybrid. This will force you to carpool.
- 15:57Speaker 1: This will force you to get on a bus, right,
- 16:01Speaker 1: to take public transportation, to take trains, to take monorails
- 16:06Speaker 1: or whatever is available around the country where people are.
- 16:10Speaker 1: This is about forcing them, that's all this is. We
- 16:15Speaker 1: want to force you into submission. We want to force
- 16:20Speaker 1: you to have to make a decision. We want to
- 16:24Speaker 1: force you to do what we tell you you must do.
- 16:30Speaker 1: That's why we're saying all of this, all of these lies.
- 16:34Speaker 1: So who's getting rich off this? There's one person, and
- 16:38Speaker 1: we all know it's very clear. Those in the Middle
- 16:41Speaker 1: East and even Vladimir putin record profits coming in from
- 16:45Speaker 1: oil and gas, and they are very clear about what
- 16:49Speaker 1: their intent is. Their intent is to make it where
- 16:52Speaker 1: you can't survive because when you are weak, our government
- 16:59Speaker 1: is strong. Liberals become strong when you are independent, they
- 17:07Speaker 1: become weak. When you can't pay for your bills, they
- 17:12Speaker 1: become strong. There's another aspect of what's happening with all
- 17:19Speaker 1: in gas. Not only does this administration want you to
- 17:23Speaker 1: be weak, and that means they have more power over you.
- 17:26Speaker 1: The poorer you are, the more power the Biden administration
- 17:29Speaker 1: has to influence your life and to dictate your life.
- 17:35Speaker 1: That's what their goal is. But there's another byproduct to this,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and that's the issue of national security. There's a big
- 17:43Speaker 1: issue when America refuses to be energy independent. It's a
- 17:48Speaker 1: national security issue. Perfect example is what we are witnessing
- 17:54Speaker 1: right now with the fighting happening over in countries just
- 17:58Speaker 1: like Hungry. This new headline perfectly encompasses all the problems
- 18:06Speaker 1: that the Biden administration, the problems I have with the
- 18:08Speaker 1: Biden administration's energy policy, because not only are we hurting
- 18:11Speaker 1: Americans right now with the highest gas prices we've ever seen,
- 18:16Speaker 1: but you're also allowing countries like Russia to have an
- 18:20Speaker 1: incredible amount of influence and make money while they're terrorizing
- 18:25Speaker 1: people in Ukraine. In fact, the European Union's High Representative
- 18:30Speaker 1: for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said there is no
- 18:33Speaker 1: guarantee that the twenty seven nation block will be able
- 18:38Speaker 1: to finalize a new set of sanctions against Russia, the
- 18:42Speaker 1: small group of countries actually led by Hungry opposing a
- 18:46Speaker 1: full oil embargo. The European Commission proposed a sixth package
- 18:52Speaker 1: of sanctions on Russia related to its invasion of Ukraine
- 18:56Speaker 1: on May the fourth, including a ban on Russian oil imports,
- 19:00Speaker 1: but not natural gas imports, on which some blocks most
- 19:04Speaker 1: influential members, particularly Germany, are heavily reliant on. Hungary is
- 19:11Speaker 1: one of a number of landlocked countries that are highly
- 19:15Speaker 1: dependent on Russian oil, along with the Czech Republican Slovakia,
- 19:19Speaker 1: with Bulgaria across the Black Sea from Russia, Russian annex
- 19:23Speaker 1: Crimea and Ukraine. They're going after right now. They also
- 19:28Speaker 1: have restrictions about the move, of course they're going to.
- 19:33Speaker 1: In an interview with Hungary's radio on May to six,
- 19:37Speaker 1: a transcript of which has been seen by bright Bart London,
- 19:42Speaker 1: the Hungarian Prime Minister, who I will actually be meeting
- 19:45Speaker 1: with tonight, Victor Orban, complain that the European Commission, an
- 19:50Speaker 1: unelected body which serves as the EU's executive and the
- 19:56Speaker 1: primary initiator of EU level legislation, has announced its oil
- 20:01Speaker 1: embargo scheme without having consulted anyone at prime minister level,
- 20:06Speaker 1: seeking to impose a single rule on everyone without taking
- 20:09Speaker 1: account of nation's interests. He said. With respect to set interest,
- 20:15Speaker 1: the Prime Minister Orban said a Russian oil embargo would
- 20:19Speaker 1: be tantem to dropping a nuclear bomb on the Hungarian economy,
- 20:25Speaker 1: drastically increasing the cost of petrol and diesel and causing
- 20:28Speaker 1: some industrial production plans to go bankrupt and close down,
- 20:31Speaker 1: causing high unemployment. EU High representatives said the block central
- 20:41Speaker 1: technocrats would quote do our best in order to block
- 20:47Speaker 1: the situation, but warned quote, we cannot ensure that it
- 20:51Speaker 1: is going to happen because positions are quite strong. Ahead
- 20:55Speaker 1: of a meeting between the EU foreign Ministers and the chair,
- 21:01Speaker 1: Roll observed that some member states face more difficulties because
- 21:04Speaker 1: they are so dependent and they are landlocked, and that
- 21:09Speaker 1: they only have oil through pipelines coming from Russia. Lithuania's
- 21:14Speaker 1: foreign minister complain the whole European Union is being held
- 21:17Speaker 1: hostage by one member state, namely Hungry, and the countries
- 21:21Speaker 1: like the Orban led state were offered a phase out
- 21:25Speaker 1: of Russian oil until December thirty Verse twenty twenty four,
- 21:29Speaker 1: and then everybody expected that this would be enough. Orban
- 21:34Speaker 1: addresses the supposed concession at length during his radio interview,
- 21:39Speaker 1: saying it would require at least five years and trillions
- 21:43Speaker 1: of their currency Hungary's national currency to adapt its refineries
- 21:49Speaker 1: to non Russian product and transform its pipeline infrastructure, along
- 21:54Speaker 1: with increasing nuclear and solar capacity. Orban expressed doubt over
- 21:59Speaker 1: whether the European Union, which is trying to squeeze Hungry
- 22:02Speaker 1: financially over long standing to disputes related to its refusal
- 22:06Speaker 1: to accept compulsory migrant redistribution quotas and suppose rule of
- 22:12Speaker 1: law issues, would provide funding for this transition, and noted
- 22:17Speaker 1: that whatever might be promised so far, we only have
- 22:20Speaker 1: this money on paper because it still hasn't been given
- 22:23Speaker 1: to us. The EU wanted to sanction Hungry over Victor
- 22:32Speaker 1: Orban's election landslide. I'll have more on that coming up
- 22:36Speaker 1: in a moment. But if you look at this story
- 22:39Speaker 1: and you see you can understand why these landlocked countries
- 22:43Speaker 1: would be acting this way, you can understand why they
- 22:46Speaker 1: be so concerned over these sanctions on Russia that it
- 22:50Speaker 1: would then decimate their economy. There's also another part of this,
- 22:55Speaker 1: and this is a sure part of the conversation I'm
- 22:57Speaker 1: going to be having when I speak in Budapest. It's
- 23:04Speaker 1: what do you do when the rest of the world
- 23:06Speaker 1: is not acting to help you. Look at Ukraine. Ukraine
- 23:11Speaker 1: was promised never forget this, that they gave up their
- 23:14Speaker 1: nuclear weapons, that they would be protected by Europe, European
- 23:19Speaker 1: countries and everyone around them. How did that work out
- 23:23Speaker 1: for them? They were told that they just give up
- 23:26Speaker 1: their nuclear weapons, that the rest of the world would
- 23:28Speaker 1: protect them from Russia. That didn't happen. You have to
- 23:33Speaker 1: ask yourself this question, would Ukraine be invaded right now
- 23:37Speaker 1: by Russia if they actually had those nuclear weapons? The answer,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I think it's pretty clear no. So if you're hungry
- 23:44Speaker 1: right now, and it's easy to throw stones at them.
- 23:46Speaker 1: And this is part of the reason why I'm so
- 23:49Speaker 1: excited about speaking and spending time with the present orban
- 23:53Speaker 1: in Budapest is because they are in a very different
- 23:58Speaker 1: situation than we are in America. It's easy for Joe
- 24:02Speaker 1: Biden to say, oh, We're going to help you, but
- 24:04Speaker 1: the reality is, can you trust Joe Biden? If I
- 24:08Speaker 1: was a leader in Europe right now, if I was
- 24:10Speaker 1: a leader of any country close to or next door to,
- 24:14Speaker 1: or dependent on Russia, I'm not going to trust the EU,
- 24:17Speaker 1: I'm not going to trust NATO, and I'm certainly not
- 24:20Speaker 1: going to trust the UN. And for that matter, I
- 24:23Speaker 1: would not trust the United States of America because while
- 24:26Speaker 1: Americas should be stepping up all and gas production to
- 24:29Speaker 1: take away the leverage and the power of Vladimir Putin,
- 24:32Speaker 1: we're doing the exact opposite. Look at what Biden is
- 24:37Speaker 1: doing to us in this country. Look at what he's doing.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Why would you trust him on any of this. It's
- 24:48Speaker 1: a very different situation for these countries right now that
- 24:51Speaker 1: are trying to stand up trying to protect their own
- 24:56Speaker 1: national interests. Because President of the United States America isn't
- 25:02Speaker 1: even protecting you and I's interests are basic families. He's
- 25:06Speaker 1: trying to force us into submission on his new green alternatives.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I want to switch gears to something else. Starbucks has
- 25:18Speaker 1: now joined Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, Goldman, Sachs, and others who
- 25:25Speaker 1: will now cover the costs for abortions if Roe v.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Wade is in fact overturn. Amazon is reimbursing employees up
- 25:37Speaker 1: to four thousand dollars each year for covering travel for
- 25:41Speaker 1: medical treatments and employees can't receive within one hundred miles
- 25:44Speaker 1: of home aka abortions. Coffee giant Starbucks has now joined
- 25:50Speaker 1: the list of companies who are covering the travel expenses
- 25:53Speaker 1: for employees seeking out of state abortions. Employees enrolled in
- 25:58Speaker 1: the company's healthcare insurance and will be reimbursed for eligible
- 26:01Speaker 1: travel expenses when accessing abortions or gender affirming procedures if
- 26:09Speaker 1: the services are beyond one hundred miles of their home.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Sally Kelly these Starbuck, ex acting executive vice president Partner Resources,
- 26:18Speaker 1: said in a letter to all employees on Monday. This
- 26:22Speaker 1: will also apply to an employee's dependents who are also
- 26:26Speaker 1: enrolled in the company's healthcare quote. Regardless of what the
- 26:30Speaker 1: Supreme Court ends up deciding, we will always ensure our
- 26:32Speaker 1: partners have access to quality healthcare, she said, and when
- 26:36Speaker 1: actions impact your access to healthcare, we will work on
- 26:39Speaker 1: a way to make sure you feel supported quote unquote.
- 26:43Speaker 1: After the draft opinion suggested Supreme Court would abolish a
- 26:46Speaker 1: nationwide right to an abortion was leaked earlier this month,
- 26:49Speaker 1: a handful of companies started issuing policies to help workers
- 26:54Speaker 1: who could face healthcare restrictions in their state. To date,
- 26:58Speaker 1: twenty six states are or likely to ban abortion if
- 27:02Speaker 1: the Supreme Court overturns in nineteen seventy three Roe Vueway decision,
- 27:05Speaker 1: according to pro pro choice research groups. Last week, Microsoft
- 27:12Speaker 1: Corps in a statement to Foxman said, we will continue
- 27:16Speaker 1: to do everything we can under the law to protect
- 27:18Speaker 1: our employees rights and support employees and their enrolled dependence
- 27:23Speaker 1: and access in critical healthcare, regardless of where they live.
- 27:27Speaker 1: This already includes services like abortion and gender affirming care.
- 27:30Speaker 1: According to Microsoft, this support is being extended to include
- 27:34Speaker 1: travel expenses an assistance for these and other medical services
- 27:39Speaker 1: where access SCARE is limited and availability and an employee's
- 27:42Speaker 1: home geographic region, Microsoft said in their statement. Microsoft also
- 27:48Speaker 1: went on to say that is extending its support to
- 27:50Speaker 1: include travel ex assistance for these and other medical services
- 27:57Speaker 1: because it's important for our employees. Airbnb, by the way,
- 28:01Speaker 1: told Fox Business of its healthcare coverage supports reproductive rights
- 28:05Speaker 1: and will work to make sure our employees have the
- 28:07Speaker 1: resources they need to make choices about their reproductive rights.
- 28:12Speaker 1: We are committed to this test. Will also announced that
- 28:16Speaker 1: the company has expanded its safety net program and healthcare
- 28:19Speaker 1: insurances offerings last year to include travel and lodging support
- 28:24Speaker 1: for those who may need to seek healthcare services that
- 28:27Speaker 1: are unavailable in their home states and a regulatory filing.
- 28:33Speaker 1: City Group also announced that it will provide travel benefits
- 28:35Speaker 1: to facilitate access to adequate resources, meaning abortion. Due to
- 28:41Speaker 1: changes in reproductive healthcare laws in certain states in the US,
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yelp they announced an extension of their healthcare insurance coverage
- 28:49Speaker 1: support consistent access to care across its workforce. The health
- 28:54Speaker 1: and Health insurance already covers abortion care, but now the
- 28:57Speaker 1: company also provides travel benefits for US employees and their
- 29:04Speaker 1: dependents who may need out of state healthcare services. Amazon
- 29:09Speaker 1: has come out reimbursing employees up to four grand each
- 29:13Speaker 1: year to cover travel for medical treatments, so you can
- 29:15Speaker 1: have an abortion a year that employees can't receive within
- 29:18Speaker 1: one hundred miles of home. According to the Wall Street Journal,
- 29:22Speaker 1: So again the companies you need to know about that
- 29:25Speaker 1: are doing this, Microsoft, Tesla, City Group, Apple, Yelp, Amazon, Levi, Strauss.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Bloomberg also is reporting, citing sources familiar with the matter,
- 29:38Speaker 1: that Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase are considering extending
- 29:41Speaker 1: abortion travel benefits as well. So Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase,
- 29:49Speaker 1: They're on the fence. Are companies that are paying travel
- 29:53Speaker 1: costs for abortions, according to this new report, Amazon, Airbnb, Apple, Citygroup, Levi, Microsoft, Starbucks, Tesla, Yelp,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and the list I have a feeling will continue to grow. Now.
- 30:07Speaker 1: The reason why I'm giving you this list is because
- 30:09Speaker 1: I do think it's important that you know that when
- 30:12Speaker 1: you are supporting these companies, this is exactly what you
- 30:16Speaker 1: are supporting. You are giving them your dollars and they
- 30:21Speaker 1: are giving them to their employees up to four grand
- 30:24Speaker 1: a year to have an abortion. This is when you
- 30:30Speaker 1: need to be looking at your bills, and you need
- 30:32Speaker 1: to be looking at where your money is going, and
- 30:34Speaker 1: you need to take a hard look at them and
- 30:36Speaker 1: decide is this the best thing for us. I know
- 30:41Speaker 1: there's some people that say, well, Ben, how do I
- 30:43Speaker 1: survive without some of these companies? Right, It's a decision
- 30:47Speaker 1: you're going to have to make. How do I survive
- 30:51Speaker 1: without Starbucks or Amazon or Microsoft or Tesla? Those are
- 30:57Speaker 1: decisions you have to make. I will continue to form
- 31:00Speaker 1: you though, of what your dollars are being used for
- 31:02Speaker 1: when you support these companies and corporations. I've changed banks,
- 31:08Speaker 1: by the way. The reason why is because one of
- 31:12Speaker 1: the banks I was with was antisecond Amendment start shutting
- 31:15Speaker 1: down companies that dealt with guns, firearms, and accessories. I
- 31:21Speaker 1: changed banks for that reason because they were not aligned
- 31:25Speaker 1: with my interests anymore. All right, Lastly, please make sure
