- 2:04Speaker 7: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Okay, here we go. I was working out.
- 2:17Speaker 7: I was talking to a buddy of mine, and I
- 2:21Speaker 7: was telling him something that Bishop td Jakes told me
- 2:24Speaker 7: one time. I heard him say it. He said, I
- 2:29Speaker 7: would hate to die and not do the thing that
- 2:34Speaker 7: I was born to do. I would hate to die
- 2:40Speaker 7: and not do the thing that I was.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Born to do. Man, oh man, oh man, man.
- 2:48Speaker 7: That hit me like a like a like a pile
- 2:51Speaker 7: of bricks man, because it made me feel so grateful
- 2:57Speaker 7: that God has allowed me.
- 3:00Speaker 2: To live my life this way now.
- 3:04Speaker 7: And I'm talking about grateful for all of it, the good,
- 3:08Speaker 7: the bad, and the ugly, and I have had all
- 3:13Speaker 7: of them. The person you see today. It ain't always
- 3:18Speaker 7: who I was. It was on the inside of me,
- 3:21Speaker 7: but it hadn't externalized itself, if that's a word. It
- 3:25Speaker 7: hadn't been bought out. It was in here, but it
- 3:28Speaker 7: was under development. Who I am today was a process.
- 3:34Speaker 7: But like I said before, don't trip. He ain't through
- 3:39Speaker 7: with me yet. Even today, I'm still an imperfect soldier
- 3:45Speaker 7: for Christ.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Today.
- 3:48Speaker 7: I still fall short oftentimes. But I'll tell you what,
- 3:54Speaker 7: I'm ever grateful for the life I have. And you
- 3:58Speaker 7: know what, I want to encourage everybody today to explore
- 4:04Speaker 7: your possibilities. I mean, man, explore your possibilities. Why would
- 4:12Speaker 7: you not want to find out, discover, or know what
- 4:21Speaker 7: it is God got for you? Why would you not
- 4:25Speaker 7: want to achieve or accomplish all of your possibilities? Now,
- 4:30Speaker 7: as I ask you this question, I want you to
- 4:33Speaker 7: know that the devil is busy, that he plays mind tricks.
- 4:37Speaker 7: So as you hear this, I already know he's saying
- 4:40Speaker 7: to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve, that's easy for you
- 4:43Speaker 7: to say, but I done got myself in this situation
- 4:46Speaker 7: right here. You ain't nothing too hard for God, nothing nothing.
- 4:53Speaker 7: And see, so as you listen to me, try to
- 4:57Speaker 7: get your mind open to this. Why would you not
- 5:01Speaker 7: want to explore all of your life's possibilities, what's possible
- 5:06Speaker 7: with your life? And I'm talking about from right where
- 5:10Speaker 7: you are right now. I'm not asking you to change.
- 5:14Speaker 7: I'm not asking you to do anything. I'm telling you
- 5:16Speaker 7: this is a fact that God can get you from
- 5:20Speaker 7: right where you are right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken,
- 5:34Speaker 7: all of that, misfortunate, all of the missus you've been
- 5:39Speaker 7: talking about in your life.
- 5:41Speaker 2: You know you.
- 5:42Speaker 7: I missed the lottery, I missed my ride. They fired me.
- 5:46Speaker 7: I missed the deadline. I didn't get it. Miss people.
- 5:51Speaker 7: People just miss theay self to death. If you've been
- 5:55Speaker 7: all in missus, God can get you from right where
- 5:58Speaker 7: you are. God a home run hitter. I'm here to
- 6:02Speaker 7: tell you that he's a home run hitter. He's a
- 6:04Speaker 7: put him over the wall whenever he wants to, all
- 6:07Speaker 7: the time, and you can be a recipient of some
- 6:09Speaker 7: of these home runs. He'll put the bat in your hand.
- 6:12Speaker 7: But you got to swing now.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 6:15Speaker 7: You got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got
- 6:18Speaker 7: to stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up. He
- 6:22Speaker 7: won't hold you down about it if you don't hold
- 6:24Speaker 7: yourself down about it. But I'm gonna tell you one
- 6:26Speaker 7: more time. The devil is busy. So what the devil
- 6:29Speaker 7: do is He make you think you ain't worthy. He
- 6:32Speaker 7: make you think that you've done something so despicable that
- 6:35Speaker 7: you can't come back from it. He makes you feel
- 6:38Speaker 7: like you so low you can't go up high. He
- 6:40Speaker 7: knock you down and make you feel like you've been
- 6:42Speaker 7: knocked down hard than anybody else. You can't get up.
- 6:45Speaker 7: He rolled you so deep down in that ditch you
- 6:47Speaker 7: can't see over the edge. God can come get you
- 6:51Speaker 7: from no matter where you are. I'm telling you, man,
- 6:55Speaker 7: you ain't in no hold too deep for God. Magic
- 6:59Speaker 7: Johnson to tell you that. Listen to me, you ain't
- 7:01Speaker 7: in no hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can
- 7:04Speaker 7: tell you that you ain't in a hole too deep
- 7:06Speaker 7: for God. Tyler Perry can tell you that I can
- 7:11Speaker 7: name you some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that.
- 7:13Speaker 7: I could tell you. Kenneth Olmah can tell you that.
- 7:16Speaker 7: Bishop Kenneth Omar I could tell you some people. Kirk
- 7:18Speaker 7: Franklin can tell you that Donny mcclerklin can tell you
- 7:21Speaker 7: that I just know some people personally man that then
- 7:24Speaker 7: been in a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell your body.
- 7:28Speaker 7: I know some people man been down, been in a
- 7:31Speaker 7: hole so deep, I bet you. Paula Dean can tell
- 7:34Speaker 7: you about it.
- 7:36Speaker 2: See.
- 7:37Speaker 7: But you know what, then here we go see see
- 7:40Speaker 7: see you know, see we don't like to talk about
- 7:44Speaker 7: that because now we want everybody to pay extra hard
- 7:47Speaker 7: for some mistakes they made when clearly an excuse me
- 7:50Speaker 7: for being a new Christian. But there is a prayer
- 7:53Speaker 7: that I've been saying since I was a little bitty boy,
- 7:55Speaker 7: and it took me till I was a grown man
- 7:57Speaker 7: to understand it. Forgive us our trespass, as we forgive
- 8:01Speaker 7: those who trust passed against us.
- 8:04Speaker 2: So see, it ain't my job to hold nobody down,
- 8:07Speaker 2: to keep my knee on somebody's neck. Who am I.
- 8:10Speaker 7: I'm gonna need some forgiveness in a second here, probably today.
- 8:15Speaker 7: See So all this, you holding people down with the
- 8:18Speaker 7: way you feel, inviot them. And she shouldn't have said this,
- 8:20Speaker 7: and she'll never get it. I'll never support this again. Man,
- 8:23Speaker 7: get up, get up and get real. You're for real,
- 8:26Speaker 7: You think you ain't finna need forgiveness real soon. You
- 8:29Speaker 7: ain't finna make a diabolical mistake in your life. You
- 8:32Speaker 7: don't think you are. I have thousands of them, probably
- 8:35Speaker 7: gonna make a few hundred more for I get up
- 8:37Speaker 7: out of here. So I've decided to be in a
- 8:40Speaker 7: forgiving business because I want God to forgive. My trust
- 8:45Speaker 7: passes as I forgive those who trustpass against me.
- 8:49Speaker 2: You understand. See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 8:53Speaker 7: I get tired of talking to picton to people man
- 8:57Speaker 7: supposed to be saved, and talking about dear Christians.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I don't want that type religion.
- 9:00Speaker 8: Man.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I ain't in that no more. I ain't in that.
- 9:02Speaker 2: You can call me wrong if you want to say
- 9:04Speaker 2: it how you want to say.
- 9:05Speaker 7: I ain't in that no more. I ain't in all that.
- 9:07Speaker 7: You can feel how you want to feel about me.
- 9:08Speaker 7: But I got proof that God work in my life.
- 9:11Speaker 7: You know, I can't hardly get it out Sometime when
- 9:14Speaker 7: people ask me something about depot on the inside of me,
- 9:16Speaker 7: about my soul and how I used to be, and
- 9:19Speaker 7: my journey and my trip. Because people don't know the
- 9:21Speaker 7: trip I've been on. You may have been on one
- 9:23Speaker 7: worse than me. But you know what, you ain't in
- 9:25Speaker 7: a whole too deep. God can't get you out of
- 9:28Speaker 7: and I wish I want people to remember that man,
- 9:31Speaker 7: God is a redeemer, He the great I am. So
- 9:35Speaker 7: if you ain't got nothing, now what you asking for?
- 9:38Speaker 7: You know you might not have nothing because you ain't
- 9:40Speaker 7: asking for nothing. Quit asking God to get you out
- 9:43Speaker 7: of debt and ask God for a life of abundance.
- 9:46Speaker 7: Then you take the money and you get out of debt.
- 9:48Speaker 7: You keep asking to get out of debt. You keep
- 9:50Speaker 7: being in debt to get out of Come on, man,
- 9:52Speaker 7: what you asking God for? I'm just tripping today, that's all.
- 9:55Speaker 7: I'm sorry.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I apologize.

- 11:51Speaker 11: I didn't like none of this. I'm the youngest. I'm seven.

- 12:17Speaker 9: The money was up there. I thought that's where money
- 12:21Speaker 9: was supposed to go. Growing up. I thought money was
- 12:24Speaker 9: to go for a long time. That's where it goes.
- 12:27Speaker 9: That's where you keep your money.
- 12:30Speaker 1: It was close to your heart. And and and the choir,
- 12:34Speaker 1: the choir man, you couldn't tell them people. They were
- 12:37Speaker 1: not singing.
- 12:38Speaker 11: The choir average age was seventy five and up. They
- 12:41Speaker 11: was right there at the door the heaven. They was
- 12:43Speaker 11: right there.
- 12:45Speaker 1: They was. They was close goodness. And I don't know
- 12:50Speaker 1: none of them songs. What happened to this little lot
- 12:52Speaker 1: of mind? Where is that? That's all I had?
- 12:54Speaker 8: Uh?
- 12:55Speaker 11: Yeah, because I was the only I was the only
- 12:58Speaker 11: one in Sunday school. I was the only kid at
- 13:01Speaker 11: just me.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'm here by myself, no kids to play with. Don't

- 13:31Speaker 1: Old women.

- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, guys, let the church say amen, like yeah.

- 13:44Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
- 13:56Speaker 7: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until
- 14:00Speaker 7: now introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row
- 14:05Speaker 7: electric suv with over three hundred miles of range, ultra
- 14:09Speaker 7: fast charging capability, and lots of space.
- 14:11Speaker 2: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an EV.
- 14:15Speaker 9: Visit Hondai USA dot com for more details. EPA estimated
- 14:18Speaker 9: rings for Ioning nine based on fully charged batteries for
- 14:21Speaker 9: comparison purpose only. Actual range will vary based on several factors.
- 14:25Speaker 1: All right, nephew, Tommy is here to run that prank back.
- 14:27Speaker 9: What you got for is f I am here this morning, Shirley, prankfully,
- 14:32Speaker 9: I am here prankfully.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, prankfully. I am here. I'm here now.
- 14:38Speaker 9: I'll be back in another hour and give you more
- 14:41Speaker 9: pranks so you can prankfully start your day.
- 14:44Speaker 2: All right, This right here is bottom of the pyramid.
- 14:48Speaker 9: Bottom of the pyramid, although this goes out to all
- 14:51Speaker 9: the cheer moms and cheered dads out there bottom of
- 14:54Speaker 9: the pyramid.
- 14:54Speaker 2: The base. You know who you are. Let's go.
- 15:03Speaker 8: Hello, Hello, Hello, hello, yeah, can you hear me? I'm
- 15:09Speaker 8: trying to reach Angela on.
- 15:12Speaker 14: Just a second, let me turn it down. Okay, Hi,
- 15:17Speaker 14: who you're trying to reach.
- 15:17Speaker 8: I'm trying to reach Angela. This Angela? Oh yeah, this
- 15:21Speaker 8: yee hi Angela. This is Chip Chip. I'm the new
- 15:24Speaker 8: camp director for the cheerleading camp for the summer.
- 15:27Speaker 14: Oh hi, Chip, what can I do for you?
- 15:28Speaker 8: Just want to give you a courtesy call your daughter.
- 15:31Speaker 8: You've got her signed up for four weeks with the camp,
- 15:34Speaker 8: right yeah. Yeah, this is you guys, third year of
- 15:38Speaker 8: being a part of the camp.
- 15:39Speaker 15: Yep.
- 15:39Speaker 14: And she's really excited. She loves coming to the camp
- 15:42Speaker 14: and we think it's a great thing for her to
- 15:44Speaker 14: be involved in.
- 15:45Speaker 13: What's up?
- 15:45Speaker 8: Okay, you guys just finished the whole cheerleading season too,
- 15:48Speaker 8: Am I right? The competition season.
- 15:50Speaker 14: Yes, just coming off of it, right, right?
- 15:53Speaker 8: Okay, Well, we're getting ready for the summer and everybody's
- 15:55Speaker 8: excited about coming out and being a part of what's
- 15:57Speaker 8: going on. So here's what I wanted to give you
- 15:59Speaker 8: a a little bit. Like I said, I'm the new
- 16:01Speaker 8: camp director. I was just starting at this job. I
- 16:05Speaker 8: got a few notes that that were given to me
- 16:08Speaker 8: about about so I wanted to give you a call
- 16:11Speaker 8: and see if I could talk to you about it.
- 16:13Speaker 14: A few notes giving to you about Yeah, just a
- 16:15Speaker 14: couple of notes.
- 16:15Speaker 8: I don't think it's anything that we can make sure,
- 16:18Speaker 8: is okay?
- 16:18Speaker 14: What kind of notes?
- 16:19Speaker 8: Well, it's been brought from my attention that some of
- 16:21Speaker 8: the parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's
- 16:24Speaker 8: going to be there this summer a little concerned about
- 16:27Speaker 8: her being on top of the pyramid, that she's uh
- 16:32Speaker 8: is a little heavy should she wait?
- 16:36Speaker 14: Wait, wait, wait, hol hold home. You calling me about
- 16:40Speaker 14: some some other parents and saying about how big my
- 16:45Speaker 14: child is or how much my child ways?
- 16:48Speaker 10: Is that?
- 16:49Speaker 8: Look? What I wanted to let you know is is
- 16:51Speaker 8: we're going to put together a base.
- 16:55Speaker 14: Oh no, you ain't gonna put no bag. I don't
- 16:57Speaker 14: know already take my money? And what you say? Your
- 16:59Speaker 14: name is us Chip? And how long have you been
- 17:02Speaker 14: to the director? Because I was just up there two
- 17:04Speaker 14: weeks ago and they told me that she's gonna be
- 17:06Speaker 14: the same position that she was last year because that
- 17:10Speaker 14: is what worked, that's the formation that works.
- 17:12Speaker 8: So I don't even know what you supposedly that some
- 17:15Speaker 8: of the girls are complaining that she's too heavy to
- 17:17Speaker 8: hold up, so that what seems to be the problem
- 17:19Speaker 8: in there, they're not getting a strong enough pramid. And
- 17:22Speaker 8: I'm going to now, wait a.
- 17:23Speaker 14: Minute, wait a minute. I know, well, she ain't the
- 17:26Speaker 14: biggest one. I felt, have you been I fail? My
- 17:29Speaker 14: child is not the biggest child I feel when it
- 17:32Speaker 14: because obviously you have not saying these cheerleaders it's some baby.
- 17:35Speaker 8: So I felt, Okay, hang on, say Angela, I want
- 17:38Speaker 8: you to calm down a bit.
- 17:39Speaker 14: Ain't nobody gonna calm down because I don't already paid
- 17:41Speaker 14: my money and this that I'll be talking about what parents?
- 17:44Speaker 14: What Harrison said?
- 17:46Speaker 13: Something is?
- 17:46Speaker 10: It is?
- 17:47Speaker 8: It carries man, I'm not I'm not gonna state who
- 17:49Speaker 8: it is, but let's just say it was several.
- 17:52Speaker 14: Kris has got something to say about my child and
- 17:55Speaker 14: her position on the cheerleading squad, because if you ain't
- 17:58Speaker 14: gonna park up no name, then I'm under say what
- 18:00Speaker 14: you're calling me about. I'll tell you one thing. When
- 18:03Speaker 14: she gets out there, I done paid my money. She
- 18:05Speaker 14: better not be on no base. She better be in
- 18:08Speaker 14: the am. I guarantee you that right now, I've been
- 18:11Speaker 14: hanging with you. Now, ain't nobody said nothing to me
- 18:14Speaker 14: about in her way and all this?
- 18:17Speaker 8: Okay, Angela, can you hear me? I just wanted you
- 18:19Speaker 8: to hear me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet.
- 18:22Speaker 8: Once I see them, I will critique what I think. Say.
- 18:25Speaker 14: You don't even need to be calling me because you
- 18:26Speaker 14: ain't even seeing nothing for you calling me with something.
- 18:28Speaker 14: He says, she's from some other parents that's been skinned
- 18:31Speaker 14: and grinted in my face, and they now wanted you
- 18:33Speaker 14: to say nothing to me. They'd have been in my house.

- 25:55Speaker 1: The weakness to a bathroom though is a butter knife?
- 25:58Speaker 11: Have you noticed that? I hain't a bathroom dough ever
- 26:02Speaker 11: beat a butter knife. Get the butter knife and turn
- 26:04Speaker 11: that lock in the middle and walk in there and
- 26:06Speaker 11: turn that open that shopper curtain.
- 26:07Speaker 4: You can see this.
- 26:09Speaker 9: Look hard.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Every time I've been in the bathroom, the door was
- 26:13Speaker 1: like somebody came in. They had a butter knife.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Breaking.
- 26:20Speaker 11: Yeah, it's been going on since my daddy, Ma Mama
- 26:24Speaker 11: got in the bathroom with a butter knife. It's been
- 26:27Speaker 11: butter knife that beat locked bathroom dose for hundreds of years.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Why you just don't get a butter knife and walk
- 26:32Speaker 1: in there?
- 26:33Speaker 3: How is this a.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Tradition in your house? Because that's how you get in.
- 26:37Speaker 11: Anything, a butter knife in a house, a locked dough.
- 26:40Speaker 11: Take that butter knife, turn it to the left and
- 26:42Speaker 11: you walk in. Slide the curtain over.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I see what we were working with. Okay, then you
- 26:46Speaker 1: can break up or stay together. It's not hard.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Stay home.
- 26:48Speaker 1: She's not seem like she wants to go through all
- 26:51Speaker 1: that though. She just wants him to just, you know,
- 26:54Speaker 1: put it out there or whatever so she could see.
- 26:56Speaker 11: If you don't if you want to see, you want
- 26:58Speaker 11: to see it. So goh, heere get a butter knife,
- 27:01Speaker 11: turn it to the lift and walk in there.
- 27:03Speaker 1: All right, Yeah, she just wants to know. Well, can
- 27:05Speaker 1: she ask him if all else fails, if the butter
- 27:08Speaker 1: knife doesn't work, can she ask him? Is that really ask?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, guys. Moving on to Rashad
- 27:18Speaker 1: and Little Rock. Rashad says, I got into a disagreement
- 27:21Speaker 1: with one of my boys at a cookout. My wife
- 27:23Speaker 1: came over and tried to help me out by jumping
- 27:26Speaker 1: in it. My other friends are clowning me about her
- 27:29Speaker 1: getting in it. How do I get her to understand
- 27:32Speaker 1: she can't do stuff like that?
- 27:35Speaker 3: That's all.
- 27:36Speaker 2: That's why I don't take my wife to cookouts like that.
- 27:38Speaker 9: I don't do that when I'm hanging out with the
- 27:40Speaker 9: boys and I bring her a plate back, you know
- 27:42Speaker 9: what I mean.
- 27:43Speaker 2: But I don't do all that. I don't have my
- 27:45Speaker 2: wife around all the.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Guys and you know, because she might jump in a fight.
- 27:50Speaker 1: If you get in a fight, my wife.
- 27:51Speaker 9: Ain't jumping in no fight, right. But I'm just saying
- 27:55Speaker 9: you done brought your girl over there. You don't have control,
- 27:58Speaker 9: and she's jumping in on everything.
- 27:59Speaker 8: You need.
- 27:59Speaker 9: Hea with your wife and let her know. Faber listen,
- 28:02Speaker 9: I got this. I know how I can hold my own.
- 28:04Speaker 8: I got you.
- 28:05Speaker 9: Just sit still in chill out. You ain't the woman
- 28:07Speaker 9: that thing for you to be doing. No way jumping in. No,
- 28:11Speaker 9: it's not your fight. Just be pretty, That's all I
- 28:14Speaker 9: need you to do.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Don't do it.
- 28:20Speaker 9: If you see me grab that spacheler and slapping him
- 28:23Speaker 9: with that and it don't it don't work.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Then you jump in like you see, I'm losing for you, jumping.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Some barbecue sauce on his face. Got yeah, take off,
- 28:34Speaker 1: running break.
- 28:37Speaker 11: I can't fight, obviously, that's what we have. The hard
- 28:42Speaker 11: time winning, that's what it is. She is sick of
- 28:45Speaker 11: him losing everywhere he goes. I got to jump in here, yo,
- 28:49Speaker 11: tag me.
- 28:50Speaker 1: He's swagging better than he is. He put She putting
- 28:52Speaker 1: in more work in the fight than he is. Come
- 28:55Speaker 1: She come out clean and he always got a black eye.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I'm shy. You need your wife, you need her. Well,
- 29:01Speaker 1: he just he thinks that, you know, she's trying to
- 29:03Speaker 1: get her to understand that she can't do stuff like that.
- 29:06Speaker 1: That's embarrassing in front of his boys.
- 29:08Speaker 11: So what's embarrassing is you keep losing. Looking from your
- 29:11Speaker 11: wife perspective, she keeps seeing you lose. Right, darn didn't
- 29:15Speaker 11: beat your Charles, didn't.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Got at you. Will you won? Everybody keep winning? Come on,
- 29:20Speaker 1: manh yeah, exactly why you always fight. Your wife is
- 29:30Speaker 1: a champ. He's your wife name Clarissa Shields, layla ay
- 29:37Speaker 1: what is her name?
- 29:38Speaker 7: Because she winn.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah, or they can't go to any more cookouts. That's it, man, you.
- 29:45Speaker 11: Get to your advantage. Man, you keep talking to me
- 29:47Speaker 11: like this, I'm gonna call my wife that dog.
- 29:54Speaker 1: And his friends are just clowning him and clowning him
- 29:57Speaker 1: about her getting into it. Yeah, she's embarrassing. Now it's
- 30:02Speaker 1: getting embarrassed. Well sure, yeah, yeah, well start winning. But
- 30:07Speaker 1: what kind of fights would you get into over the cookout?
- 30:10Speaker 1: At the cookout though, I can't imagine it? Okay, all right,
- 30:18Speaker 1: that answers it. All All right, guys, thank you. Coming
- 30:21Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 30:23Speaker 1: entertainment news for you right after this. God, this is fantasia.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Right now you're listening to my man, the Steve Harvey
- 30:31Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. Did you guys
- 30:40Speaker 1: see what Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett posted online about
- 30:45Speaker 1: President Trump and Elon Musk, head of Doge. You know
- 30:49Speaker 1: about their bickering and name calling last week. Well, Representative
- 30:53Speaker 1: Crockett compared their behavior to the behavior of reality TV
- 30:57Speaker 1: stars and referred to them as the real house of
- 31:00Speaker 1: the Real Housewives of d C.
- 31:03Speaker 3: My girl.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Perfect love.
- 31:07Speaker 1: They're going back and forth, back and forth.
- 31:09Speaker 9: Uh.
- 31:09Speaker 1: She had a picture of a Google search of Elin
- 31:12Speaker 1: and Trust messy breakup. She then captioned it, the girls
- 31:15Speaker 1: are fighting. So what's your take on the fewd It's
- 31:21Speaker 1: getting pretty bad. Huh, this is thin.
- 31:23Speaker 2: It's a game. I think it's a game.
- 31:27Speaker 1: You don't believe.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I don't. I don't.
- 31:28Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I think nothing Trump do. I think it's a game.
- 31:33Speaker 1: But you got to remember, now, Steve called this a
- 31:35Speaker 1: long time ago. So he did say that they weren't
- 31:38Speaker 1: going to be able to coexist. He did say that
- 31:41Speaker 1: a lot that. Yeah, the clash of the titans here.
- 31:46Speaker 12: Yeah, Tommy, I think the president you know now you
- 31:51Speaker 12: know your tantrum.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Now I think it's real. You don't think it's real.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I think it's I don't I could be wrong.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I hope. I don't know.
- 32:01Speaker 9: We'll see, but I just don't trust Trump. I definitely
- 32:04Speaker 9: don't trust uh.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Uh musk musk that part.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I trust his son more than I trust.
- 32:16Speaker 10: You.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Are not the real president.
- 32:23Speaker 8: What you think?
- 32:25Speaker 1: I don't know, Tommy, I don't know what to think
- 32:27Speaker 1: it is.
- 32:27Speaker 2: But you know what it's like.
- 32:29Speaker 11: They were going back and forth so fast at each other,
- 32:32Speaker 11: and then we got me what Elon says, I'm gonna
- 32:34Speaker 11: start disassembling all the spaceships immediately.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Well, you can't go to space. Yeah, well that's because
- 32:43Speaker 1: he's gonna cut Trump is gonna cut off the funding
- 32:48Speaker 1: they playing games.
- 32:49Speaker 12: I don't like that going back and forth, But then
- 32:51Speaker 12: you empowered this man at the beginning of your administration,
- 32:55Speaker 12: beginning of your term, to fire every day hard working
- 32:58Speaker 12: americans see all here right with families, Yeah yeah yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 12: playing games and stuff with government jobs and asking people
- 33:06Speaker 12: to justify or tell them what five things right essays?
- 33:12Speaker 1: This's not school right, the classroom yeah, all right. Also,
- 33:18Speaker 1: the feuding between Musk and President Trump had a staggering
- 33:21Speaker 1: effect on musk net worth. As the bickering continued, Musk
- 33:25Speaker 1: lost about twenty seven billion with a B dollars. Now
- 33:31Speaker 1: that's according to Forbes magazine, and you know they ought
- 33:33Speaker 1: to know. His net worth is now estimated to be
- 33:36Speaker 1: around three hundred and ninety eight billion. Oh wow, rich,
- 33:40Speaker 1: what's going through? It's still rich? Heck alsos. Tesla stock
- 33:47Speaker 1: declined about fourteen percent. I see Teslas everywhere I go.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I always see Teslas. I don't know what they're talking about,
- 33:55Speaker 1: but I see I always see them. Online sources claim
- 33:58Speaker 1: that must harsh words for President Trump have negatively impacted investors'
- 34:02Speaker 1: views on Tesla and must ability to effectively lead the company.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yet we still have Trump leading the country after the feud.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Well he's going to be in there for a minute.
- 34:12Speaker 1: But yeah, this is a this is a big thing here,
- 34:15Speaker 1: this is a big thing. Well, if we stay in
- 34:21Speaker 1: this democracy, it's yeah, if we stay. I mean, each
- 34:27Speaker 1: president has a four year term and he gets re
- 34:29Speaker 1: elected for more years.
- 34:31Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 34:32Speaker 12: Well, he acts like a dictator, especially the way he's
- 34:35Speaker 12: handling the riots the immigration riots in l A.
- 34:40Speaker 1: A dictator. Yes he does, yes, yeah so anyway, wow
- 34:55Speaker 1: yeah four more years? Uh huh, all right, finally ray
- 34:59Speaker 1: J loves I know. Ray J loves to keep mess going,
- 35:02Speaker 1: especially on social media. Now this time he's made sexy.
- 35:06Speaker 1: He's made rapper Sexy Red mad by saying that he's
- 35:09Speaker 1: hooked up with her before, meaning of course, he slept
- 35:12Speaker 1: with her. He went on rent on social media and

- 44:43Speaker 2: You you right?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Oh, I guess we're just not gonna go on vacation.
- 44:47Speaker 1: You just froze the budget. And see, I mean that's
- 44:49Speaker 1: how I talk. So I'm in trouble right right begging.

- 56:49Speaker 2: We got it for you here.
- 56:50Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter subject He assumed I was stupid.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm thirty four years old and I
- 57:01Speaker 1: was dating a guy that's thirty two years old, and
- 57:03Speaker 1: we broke up because he said I am not a
- 57:06Speaker 1: team player. A week ago, he had to put his
- 57:09Speaker 1: car in the shop and he asked if I could
- 57:11Speaker 1: pick him up from the repair shop. I went by
- 57:13Speaker 1: to get him and he said his car would be
- 57:15Speaker 1: ready in a week. I had planned to drop him
- 57:18Speaker 1: off at home and go to dinner with my coworker.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I got to his house and went in to use
- 57:23Speaker 1: a bathroom. I noticed he was in his closet and
- 57:26Speaker 1: he had a suitcase on his bed. I asked him
- 57:29Speaker 1: if he was going somewhere, and he said he would
- 57:32Speaker 1: be staying at my house all week until his car
- 57:35Speaker 1: was fixed. That way he wouldn't have to rent a
- 57:37Speaker 1: car or have me driving him around. Now, Stephen Shirley,
- 57:41Speaker 1: I am a hard working, independent woman and I always
- 57:45Speaker 1: have been self sufficient and had my own car and
- 57:48Speaker 1: place to live. These men I'm meeting nowadays think it's
- 57:51Speaker 1: okay to lean on a woman for support or have
- 57:54Speaker 1: the woman go out of her way for them. I
- 57:56Speaker 1: was disappointed in him for assuming he could stay at
- 57:59Speaker 1: my house and he could use my car without asking
- 58:02Speaker 1: me first. I asked if his insurance policy covered a
- 58:05Speaker 1: rental car, and he said he didn't include it in
- 58:08Speaker 1: his policy because it would have raised his premium. Here's
- 58:12Speaker 1: the biggest issue.
- 58:12Speaker 2: I have with all of this.
- 58:14Speaker 1: If the roles were reversed, I could never assume I
- 58:18Speaker 1: am staying at his house and he wouldn't let me
- 58:20Speaker 1: drive his BMW for a week. Hell, he wouldn't even
- 58:24Speaker 1: offer to drop me off at work and pick me up.
- 58:27Speaker 1: After a heated discussion, I left him at his house
- 58:30Speaker 1: and went to dinner with my coworker. Later that night,
- 58:33Speaker 1: he broke up with me, and I was stunned. Am
- 58:37Speaker 1: I wrong to have such high standards? Hmm, well, I'll
- 58:42Speaker 1: say this, No, I don't think you're wrong to have standards,
- 58:44Speaker 1: high standards. Standards. You know, Steve wrote a whole book
- 58:48Speaker 1: about that very thing, and act like a lady, think
- 58:51Speaker 1: like a man. Standards and requirements is what he called it,
- 58:55Speaker 1: and it's where a woman should, you know, have certain
- 58:57Speaker 1: expectations from her man. Your man or X man is wrong, Yes,
- 59:03Speaker 1: he is. For assuming he could lay up on you
- 59:05Speaker 1: without at least asking you first communication is key here.
- 59:10Speaker 1: You didn't say in the letter how long you guys
- 59:13Speaker 1: had been dating. You just said you're thirty four and
- 59:15Speaker 1: he's thirty two. But obviously it wasn't long enough for
- 59:19Speaker 1: you for him to be asking you this. I don't
- 59:21Speaker 1: think he was right for you anyway, because you said
- 59:23Speaker 1: if the roles were reversed, he wouldn't do the same
- 59:26Speaker 1: for you, and it sounded like you were pretty clear
- 59:29Speaker 1: about that. So why were you even stunned that he
- 59:32Speaker 1: broke it off with you when you said no. I
- 59:34Speaker 1: think he's moved on, and I think you should move
- 59:36Speaker 1: on as well.
- 59:37Speaker 7: Steve, this is an interesting letter because I find some
- 59:44Speaker 7: problems in both of these, the letter writer and the guy,
- 59:49Speaker 7: and I'll share it with you. He assumed I was stupid, Well,
- 59:54Speaker 7: that topic of the letter, I'm not sure that he
- 59:58Speaker 7: assumed you were stupid, and he assumed a bit much.
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: And I'll show you what I mean. Thirty four years old,
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: you're dating a guy that's thirty two. We broke up
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: because he said I'm not a team player. Now, based
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: on this letter, I think he's right in saying you're
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: not a team player. But I also think he went
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: about this thought wrong way. So I think that's wrong
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: on both sides in this letter. A week ago, he
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: put his car in the shop and he asked her
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: if you could pick him up from the repair shop.
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: I went by to get him. He said his car
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: would be ready in a week. I planned to drop
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: him off at home and go to dinner with my coworkers. Okay,
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: that's fair. I got to his house and went to
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: use the bathroom. I noticed he was in his closet
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: and he had a suitcase on his bed. I asked
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: him if he was going somewhere, and he said he
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: was gonna stay at my house all week until the
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: car was fixed. That way he wouldn't have to rent
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: a car or have me drive him around. Now he's
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: wrong right here because he assumed this. He didn't have
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: the courtesy or the decency that asked this woman. So
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: he was wrong, like two left shoes for this. Now,
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: Stephen sherlot. I'm a hard working, independent woman. I've always
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: been self sufficient to have my own car in the
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: place to live. These men I'm meeting nowadays think it's
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: okay to lean on a woman's for support. I have
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: a woman go out of her way for them. Now
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: we are dealing with the woman who has some preconceived
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: notions about men. She has put all men in the
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: same category, or at least all the men she's meeting.
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: So obviously she's been meeting a lot of men that
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: mussoline on women. And I understand her feeling that way,
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: but he was wrong for assuming this. But she just went, Okay,
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: here we go again, same old, same. Oh these dudes
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: I'm dating nowadays, I all think this way. Then she
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: said I was disappointed in him for assuming he could
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: stay at my house and he could use my car
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: without asking me first. He had absolutely no right to assume.
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: That's the problem in this letter. He assumed something that
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: obviously shouldn't have been taken for granted, So he was
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: wrong for that. Then she asked if his insurance policy
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: covered rental car, and then he said he didn't include
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: that in his policy because it would have raised his premiums.
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: I don't know how much extra that is, the rental
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: car clause, and I don't know how much.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: That raises the premium.
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: But I was always taught that I an some prevention
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: is worth a pound of cure, and right now a
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: rental car is the pound of cure. He would have
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: saved hisself some problems with that little bit of money
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: to just pay for that clause in his insurance PROBLEMSY Now,
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: when I come back, I will show you what's really
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: wrong here, because she has some.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: No about him not being able to do the same thing,
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: not share it when we come back.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve. We'll have part two of
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Subject for today's Strawberry letter, he assumed I was stupid.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:24Speaker 18: Kinsley will be six in September. We are at Saint
- 1:03:28Speaker 18: Jude because she was diagnosed with leukemia. Her treatment is
- 1:03:31Speaker 18: receiving a chemotherapy and it is a two and a
- 1:03:35Speaker 18: half to three year process. Fact that Saint jud does
- 1:03:38Speaker 18: not send a bill has been a god seeing childhood
- 1:03:41Speaker 18: cancer needs to be eradicated.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: You can help kids fight childhood cancer and diseases like
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: sickle cell. Please become a Saint Jude partner in Hope
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: today by texting SHMS to seven eight five eight three three.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve. Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Subject he assumed I was stupid.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: Well, I don't know if he assumed he was stupid,
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: but he was stupid for assuming in this lab.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: He got his car fixed.
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: The woman she asked him to come pick him up,
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: and riding home, told her that his car was gonna
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: be in the shop for a week. She had plans
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: of dropping the man off at home and going to
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: dinner with some coworkers.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: She got to the man's house and went to the bathroom.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: She came out. He had a suitcase out. She asked
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: the man if he was going somewhere.
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: He said, I'm gonna come over here and stay at
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: your house for a week, so I ain't got to
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: rent no car and you ain't got to run around
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: picking me up. She was offended because he assumed that
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: he could come and stay at her house, and.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: She's absolutely correct. He should not have sumed.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: He should have asked this woman, Hey, I was just thinking,
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: do you think it would be okay if I stayed
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: at your house? Because I don't have a car and
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: I might need something to look I hate to be
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: a bother, but you know, blah blah blah blah, it
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: would have sounded better, but you assumed. Then the woman
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: turned around and asked him his insurance policy cover that.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: He said he didn't put it in his policy because
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: he ain't wanted to boost up the premiums. Well, now
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: we got a little bit of thing going right here,
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: because the guy is dead wrong for assuming this. But
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: now she was disappointed in him for assuming he could
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: stay at his house and he could use my car
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: without asking me first.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: She's absolutely corrected this. But now the dude.
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: There was another party that I wanted to show you,
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: ask him if he can go somewhere, and sa da
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: da dah dah. Anyway, I might have missed that point,
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: but anyway, she's a hard working, independent woman.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: This is the part these men I'm meeting nowadays think
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: it's okay to lean on a woman for support or
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: have the woman go out of her way for them. Man,
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: that's a bad look, fellas. And for her to be
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: feeling that way, obviously she's been dealing with just that
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: in her relationship and she probably thought to herself, Okay,
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: here we go again.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Dude was wrong. And for assuming that he doesn't want
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: to go insurance policy pemis go up.
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: So he left that out. Then she says, here's the
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: big issue I had with all this. If the roles
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: were reversed, I could never assume I'm staying at his house.
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: So oh whoa, Yeah, so now you're dating a guy
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: and you said if the roles were reversed, I could
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: never assume I'm staying at his house. My question is,
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: and you know this exactly, and you know this, and
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: then he wouldn't let me drive his BMW for a week.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: Wait a minute, and you know this, And he wouldn't
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: even offer to drop me at work and pick me up.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: Wait a minute, and you know this? What the hell
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: you dating this dude? For you dating a dude who
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: won't go out of his way for you at all?
- 1:06:54Speaker 13: And you know this?
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: So after he did discussion, I left him at the
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: house and he went to dinner with my coworker. Later
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: that night, he broke up with me, and I was stunned.
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: Am I wrong for having such high standards? Wait a minute,
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: I'm sorry your standards aren't high enough.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Excuse me?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Why are you stunned?
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: Here's a dude that would not offer to let you
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: stay at his house if your car broke down. Here's
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: a dude who would not let you drive his car
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: if your car broke down.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: And here's a dude who won't pick you up and
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: drop you off at work if your car broke down.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Now you stunned because you broke up?
- 1:07:38Speaker 12: What?
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I was stunned that she was stunned?
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: Right, I'm stunned that this is who you dating. Yeah,
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: knowing all that you know about this young man, you're
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: still in it. Here's y'all's problem. This must not be
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: a serious relationship it can be, and the two of
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: you don't have a clear definition of what you are.
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: Because if this is your man and you are his woman,
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: all these stuff y'all having problem with in this letter
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: seemed to me would be automatic. If this is my woman,
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: why would I have a problem with her staying in
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: my house for a week? If this is your man,
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: why would you have a problem with him staying at
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: your house this week? But the real problem is he
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: assumed some things about you, and you know some things
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: about him. He assumed teacher to stay with you, drive
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: your car and you pick him up and take him work.
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: You know you couldn't stay with him. You can't drive
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: his car and he's gonna pick you up and drop
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: you off. Or we don't have a match here because
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: we don't have a relationship. So you went out to
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: dinner with your girlfriend, you came back, and you find
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: out he tell you he breaking up with me because
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: you're not a team player. Well, the problem is, ain't
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: either one of y'all team players, right, there's no team
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: So what we're talking about him? You're not a team player.
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: He's not a team player.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: Don't neither one of y'all. This ain't a team y'all got.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Y'all ain't even got a team, so I.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Don't know what to tell you. No, you ain't got
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: nothing here of the keep it moving, hell, y'all while
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: y'all seeing each other.
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: It's ragney relationship y'all got, and you stunned because he
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: broke up. Hell now he's stunned because you won't let
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: him stay with it. But he was wrong for assuming
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: at least ask a woman give her the courtesy. Yeah,
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: but then the reason you really ain't got no real
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: cause you ain't want your premiums up. Okay, Fred flat, definitely,
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: Fred Flag.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: That's my lady. Y'all needed you need to say good
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: riddance to this and gone about your business.

- 1:11:21Speaker 1: What was that Aaron Rodgers? That's fall time. I don't care.
- 1:11:29Speaker 11: If you look at Lord of the Rings, it looked
- 1:11:30Speaker 11: like Aaron Rodgers, Father time, gray Beard all finally signed
- 1:11:34Speaker 11: with the Pittsburgh Steels.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: Uh they signed?
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: You said, why do they sign them? Why a quarterback?
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Because they ain't gonna.
- 1:11:42Speaker 11: Put their hopes in Mason Rudolph obviously, so they went
- 1:11:46Speaker 11: signed Aaron Rodgers one year, nineteen point five million dollars.
- 1:11:50Speaker 11: He will be the start of the quarterback for the
- 1:11:53Speaker 11: Pittsburgh Steeler. Way to go, father time, Yeah.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Queer col So why didn't they get your door?
- 1:12:01Speaker 11: Which makes no sense because I think this is why
- 1:12:05Speaker 11: they were holding out because they knew they had something
- 1:12:07Speaker 11: on the background.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: They had to been talking to Aaron Rodgers and knew
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: he was coming. Okay, see why I didn't keep Russell?
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: See there you got it?
- 1:12:16Speaker 11: That make this make sense to me, especially after the
- 1:12:20Speaker 11: season had with the Jets last season.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: It's not the same Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. That's
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: not the same a run No, he got hurt. Game
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: one wasn't the Jets last year? Remember I remember that.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I was like, this is the first game he out?
- 1:12:33Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: First play.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: Yes, How old is is Anon Rogers?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Forty one? Okay, that's that's old in the NFL? Whoa ancient?
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:12:46Speaker 11: Oh my goodness, man, the average quarterback is about twenty five.
- 1:12:53Speaker 11: Starting quarterback in the NFL's average age is twenty five.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: You forty one?
- 1:12:57Speaker 13: Wow?
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you've done all you can do. You've done it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Yeah, man, gon't get down.
- 1:13:02Speaker 11: I'm with Terry Bradshaw, Terry Bradshaw, Hall of Fame quarterback
- 1:13:05Speaker 11: for the Steven CID.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Go somewhere and eat some bark and talk to God.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: Not bark.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Bark, Go eat some tree, bark and go talk to dog.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Why are you sitting over here trying to play?
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: That's not the same Aaron Rodgers that you saw in
- 1:13:22Speaker 11: Green Bay that won a Super Bowl.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: This is a forty one year old, so it's not
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: gonna be the same.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: You got a little bit, he got it? I see
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: how on everything? He'll know? Who's everything?
- 1:13:33Speaker 11: No Man, Game three, the night of her NBA Finals
- 1:13:38Speaker 11: serious tied one one, and we'll see what happens tomorrow.
- 1:13:41Speaker 11: This is one of the most depressing NBA finals I've
- 1:13:43Speaker 11: ever seen in my life.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: It's one of the one most depressing.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: No it's good man. I'm I'm.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: All right, junior.
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Coming up next at the top of the hour, ladies
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: upset because of her brother and her ex husband because
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: their buddies. We'll find out what that's all about. Right
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we go. This one is from
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Yolanda in Auburn. Yolanda says, my ex husband called and
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: asked if he could stay with my brother. I don't
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: care where he stays, but my brother shouldn't even be
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: talking to that man after the way he treated me.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I lit into my brother and he said, I need
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: to learn to let things go and move on with
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: my life. How could my brother say that to me?
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Is he siding with my ex?
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: Or what?
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: I see this all the time?
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: Basically, you know, the two brothers in laws, even though
- 1:14:44Speaker 9: they're not brother in consider brother in laws anymore, they
- 1:14:46Speaker 9: still remain brother in laws and they have you know,
- 1:14:50Speaker 9: they developed a friendship over the course of time, so
- 1:14:52Speaker 9: they boys basically, So that's why your brother's trying to
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: tell you to let it go. And that's why now
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: I don't know why your husband, your ex's the evil
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: call to ask you if it was okay, y'all ain't
- 1:15:04Speaker 9: communicating like that no more. Basically, if he gonna go
- 1:15:06Speaker 9: stay with your brother, he gonna go stay with your brother.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: So I don't even know why he brought it to
- 1:15:11Speaker 9: your attention. That just creates an argument and create friction
- 1:15:14Speaker 9: between you and your brother unless you're gonna run into humnless.
- 1:15:16Speaker 9: You're going over there to your brother house and you
- 1:15:18Speaker 9: know you're giving it. They giving you a heads up
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: to let you know he gonna be there. I don't know,
- 1:15:23Speaker 9: but you know, don't be mad. They boys, they they
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: became friends, and you ain't gonna be able to get.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Rid of that.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I'm with the wife, nope, right there.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Yes, So so.
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: Basically when when when we divorced, the whole family divorced you,
- 1:15:37Speaker 9: that's how it goes.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you're on my team.
- 1:15:43Speaker 11: No, see right now, your brother don't care. Which is
- 1:15:46Speaker 11: that your brother told you? Okay, now he already told
- 1:15:49Speaker 11: you because what your brother see is not what you see.
- 1:15:51Speaker 11: Your brother see that back room back there worth five
- 1:15:53Speaker 11: fifty a month. See, you're not finna stop that. He's
- 1:15:56Speaker 11: gonna make this money. He wan that room about with
- 1:15:59Speaker 11: you like it or not. It's five fifty a month,
- 1:16:02Speaker 11: and your ex husband will be in that room.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Just don't go back there. He gonna be in that room.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: That is what you see, loyal, If you need to
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: mind your business, what your brother told you a month
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: over here, the brother is definitely siding with the ex
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: over his sister. The brother is becoming a landlord. He is,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: That's what he's becoming. It's not y'all need confused. Okay,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: per month for that backroom? Did he ain't even use it?
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: That's so funny? All right, all right, we have time
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: for another one, guys. This one's from Butler in Hollywood.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Butler says, my wife tracks my every move and I
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: know it. So I parked at an outlet mall and
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: rented a car for the day. My car got told
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: and I had no idea that my wife had been
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: calling me frantically for hours after she noticed that my car.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Is that a police impound lot? When I finally answered her,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: she thought I had gotten arrested. She had a really
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: bad panic attack, and I felt horrible for what I did.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: I was honest with her. Uh and she's hurt, crushed,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: she's crushed. So how do I fix this crazy situation?
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: That's what Butler in Hollywood wants to know.
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: These women got for playing these csis and putting all
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: these trackers on everybody car. Look either love him and
- 1:17:30Speaker 9: let him go, let him go, let him leave the
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: house and go do what he gonna do and come home.
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: But you do not have to track every man's move
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: across the dog on city. Why do you gotta know.
- 1:17:40Speaker 8: All of that?
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Why? Why? Why do he lie?
- 1:17:43Speaker 8: Why?
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: Way lighted? Way light?
- 1:17:45Speaker 10: It?
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: He ain't lied by nothing.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: He didn't verbally lie to her. No, he didn't verbally lie.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: He did not lie.
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: He went and got another vehicle and parked the one
- 1:17:53Speaker 9: that he has. That's what he did want.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: Now he's ignorant, parked it evidently in the wrong place.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: He did say, I was honest with her. YEA, honestly
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: is the opposite of lying. He don't like I'm just
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: saying he didn't lie.
- 1:18:09Speaker 11: No, he parked his car at an added mall and
- 1:18:12Speaker 11: got a rental call for the day. Sometimes you want
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: to drive your car all day whatever. Sometimes you want
- 1:18:18Speaker 11: to go down to Enterprise and get another.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Park in the wrong place, the wrong place.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: If he got told yeah, or had a panic. Huh
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: playing games.
- 1:18:28Speaker 12: He's playing games, played an expensive game and then cost
- 1:18:32Speaker 12: him money and he hurt his wife's feeling. And what
- 1:18:36Speaker 12: you're trying to say, Shirley is be honest. Everybody, be honest.
- 1:18:38Speaker 12: Have an open conversation.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Who put the track on the car? That hurt my friend?
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: That hurt your feelings? All right, I guess thank you.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Coming up next, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
