- 1:49Speaker 5: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think, ah huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 7: digging now. One and only Steve Harley got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 7: I was talking with my wife and she said something
- 2:14Speaker 7: her father always used to tell her, just because you
- 2:17Speaker 7: can do something don't mean you should do it. I
- 2:21Speaker 7: can't tell you how many times I've had to learn
- 2:23Speaker 7: that in my life. You know, just because you can
- 2:26Speaker 7: do something does not necessarily mean you should do it.
- 2:30Speaker 7: I could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean
- 2:34Speaker 7: I should do it. I could go here and set
- 2:37Speaker 7: the record straight a lot of times, but it don't
- 2:40Speaker 7: mean I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot
- 2:44Speaker 7: in that lesson, folks, And because I have a relationship
- 2:50Speaker 7: with my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me
- 2:54Speaker 7: to learn even more how to stay still on a
- 2:57Speaker 7: lot of issues that's troubling me. I've learned it the
- 3:01Speaker 7: hard way. I do want you to understand that that
- 3:03Speaker 7: sometimes it's better to be still. Sometimes it's better to
- 3:07Speaker 7: just let God handle the situation now. And I know
- 3:09Speaker 7: it's hard to say because we think as people, but
- 3:12Speaker 7: if I do this, I would feel better. If I
- 3:16Speaker 7: do this now, they'll feel how I feel.
- 3:19Speaker 2: See. But that's not always the best way though. I
- 3:22Speaker 2: found in my life.
- 3:23Speaker 7: Sometimes you gotta like old people used to say, you
- 3:26Speaker 7: gotta let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man.
- 3:30Speaker 7: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
- 3:32Speaker 7: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when
- 3:34Speaker 7: she was when I was young, I thought she was
- 3:36Speaker 7: just an old person just talking to me.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I didn't get it.
- 3:39Speaker 7: You know how your parents used to talk to you
- 3:41Speaker 7: and you didn't get it, And they used to always say, well,
- 3:43Speaker 7: wait till you have your own kids, you'll get it then,
- 3:46Speaker 7: And sure enough you got it then. Well I'm the
- 3:48Speaker 7: same way. I'm no different you know. I don't have
- 3:50Speaker 7: no different life than you. You don't have no different
- 3:52Speaker 7: upbringing in you. I don't have no different ways that
- 3:55Speaker 7: I can live and you can't. You know, I got
- 3:57Speaker 7: to live by the same laws of the land you
- 4:00Speaker 7: gotta live by. I gotta obey the principles of success.
- 4:03Speaker 7: If I want to be successful, I gotta bam. And
- 4:05Speaker 7: you know, if I want to go to heaven, I
- 4:07Speaker 7: gotta do what God tell me to do as many
- 4:09Speaker 7: times as I can. Now, you ain't gonna get it
- 4:11Speaker 7: all right, But he understand that, and I just get
- 4:14Speaker 7: on with the best I can. But so many times, man,
- 4:17Speaker 7: we get stuck right down, man, worrying about you know,
- 4:22Speaker 7: how it's gonna come across and what you know, you know,
- 4:25Speaker 7: kind of going around here because I'm trying to find
- 4:28Speaker 7: a way to tell you this that you won't get twisted.
- 4:31Speaker 7: The bottom line, you gotta let go and let God.
- 4:34Speaker 7: You have to allow him to do it his way. See,
- 4:38Speaker 7: I thought myself to a certain point, but to go further,
- 4:41Speaker 7: I had to let God have it. I found out
- 4:44Speaker 7: I wasn't all that good a driver. I found out
- 4:46Speaker 7: I wouldn't all that good of a explore with a map.
- 4:51Speaker 7: So I had to let go. I had to let God.
- 4:53Speaker 7: And you gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways.
- 4:57Speaker 7: How often had I thought it was over for me.
- 5:00Speaker 7: But what God was doing was he was teaching me
- 5:02Speaker 7: a lesson. He was showing me something that I needed
- 5:05Speaker 7: to know. He was allowing me to experience some things.
- 5:08Speaker 7: But he didn't let me go under. You know how
- 5:10Speaker 7: they say, God and never put more on you than
- 5:12Speaker 7: you can bear. He won't let you go under you know.
- 5:15Speaker 7: It's like the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when
- 5:18Speaker 7: I was going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man,
- 5:20Speaker 7: it was really really man trying to destroy what I
- 5:23Speaker 7: had worked for and my family and this new life
- 5:26Speaker 7: that God had presented me. And the devil is busy.
- 5:28Speaker 7: The devil don't like to see you happy. So here
- 5:30Speaker 7: he comes. He puts you under attack, and he comes
- 5:33Speaker 7: in and net and everything, and my kids are suffering,
- 5:35Speaker 7: but you know, here comes God. Though see, God don't
- 5:39Speaker 7: put more on you than you can bear. And Bishop
- 5:41Speaker 7: Olma sent me a scripture. He sent me Isaiah forty
- 5:45Speaker 7: three one and two. And in that scripture it says
- 5:48Speaker 7: to the effect that you can walk through the water
- 5:51Speaker 7: the rivers, and the water won't overcome you. But then
- 5:55Speaker 7: it said you can walk through the fire and you
- 5:58Speaker 7: will not get burned nor will kindling set upon your clothing.
- 6:03Speaker 7: I learned something very valuable that day. See, God sent
- 6:07Speaker 7: me through something, but he was showing me something too.
- 6:10Speaker 7: Now he didn't do it. God didn't bring that calamity
- 6:13Speaker 7: into my life because in Isaiah fifty four seventeen it
- 6:17Speaker 7: says clearly that if anyone comes against you, it will
- 6:21Speaker 7: not be my doing. Now, this is what he promised
- 6:23Speaker 7: you when people come for you, though, see, and this
- 6:26Speaker 7: is what I learned. That's why I have no fear
- 6:28Speaker 7: of the people coming anymore because I learned that. But
- 6:31Speaker 7: God had to send me through a traumatic experience in
- 6:34Speaker 7: order for me to learn that. You can't have a
- 6:36Speaker 7: testimony without a test you know what I'm saying. You
- 6:39Speaker 7: can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he did
- 6:42Speaker 7: was he allowed that internet thing come across crossed into
- 6:45Speaker 7: my life, but he taught me something. And Isaiah forty
- 6:48Speaker 7: three to one and two was and you could walk
- 6:50Speaker 7: through the fire and not get burned, nor wal kindling
- 6:52Speaker 7: set upon your clothing. So what that said to me was,
- 6:56Speaker 7: even though you trying to do me and it's fire
- 6:59Speaker 7: all around me, I won't burn. But when it's over,
- 7:02Speaker 7: kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me
- 7:06Speaker 7: was not only would I walk through the fire and
- 7:08Speaker 7: not get burned, but there would be no signs that
- 7:11Speaker 7: I was ever in the fire. There's no signs of it.
- 7:14Speaker 7: But not hold up though now here go to park. Though,
- 7:17Speaker 7: that I had to learn, even though you can walk
- 7:20Speaker 7: through the fire, y'all, and even though you're being flames
- 7:23Speaker 7: and scorching all around you, if you trust him, he
- 7:25Speaker 7: ain't gonna let you burn. But now hear what he
- 7:27Speaker 7: did not say. Though he did not say that it
- 7:31Speaker 7: was not going to be uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there.
- 7:37Speaker 7: He ain't say that. He just said you won't burn,
- 7:40Speaker 7: and when it's over, it won't be no signs that you.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Was in the fire.
- 7:43Speaker 7: See what happened to me was after they tried to
- 7:45Speaker 7: destroy me, let me show you what God did for me.
- 7:48Speaker 7: Not only did they not accomplish what they set out
- 7:50Speaker 7: to do, but when it was through with me, though,
- 7:53Speaker 7: when they was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire,
- 7:56Speaker 7: and throwing the hate and writing it and lining and
- 8:00Speaker 7: creating all these names for themselves so it could look
- 8:03Speaker 7: like most people is hating. When they got through it all,
- 8:05Speaker 7: that man Look what he did to me. Look what
- 8:09Speaker 7: he did, fummy, because he taught me something that day,
- 8:12Speaker 7: and I'm sharing it with you because God will do
- 8:14Speaker 7: the same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though.
- 8:18Speaker 7: You got to get in there, and you got to
- 8:19Speaker 7: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it. So,
- 8:22Speaker 7: just like pop Bridge is taught my wife Marjorie, just
- 8:25Speaker 7: because you can do something, don't mean y'all to do something.
- 8:27Speaker 7: Yeah you could go down there and straighten them out,
- 8:29Speaker 7: but should you though? Yeah, you can go down there
- 8:32Speaker 7: and tell them all. Yeah, you can go down stand
- 8:33Speaker 7: up and make sure they know it's your voice that
- 8:36Speaker 7: they hear it, and you can get in their face
- 8:38Speaker 7: and make a scene.
- 8:39Speaker 2: But should you though, or should you let go and
- 8:43Speaker 2: let God?
- 8:44Speaker 7: So before we run all out in the streets and
- 8:46Speaker 7: somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.
- 8:49Speaker 8: Now.
- 8:49Speaker 7: I'm not saying don't go out there, but you gotta
- 8:52Speaker 7: watch who you go out there with. But you can
- 8:54Speaker 7: go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody decided
- 8:56Speaker 7: I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust a window.
- 8:58Speaker 7: Hold up, partner, hold up what we're down here doing.
- 9:01Speaker 7: So see, sometimes man, you gotta let go, and you
- 9:03Speaker 7: gotta let God. You gotta let God have situations sometimes
- 9:07Speaker 7: and you get in there and do the things that
- 9:08Speaker 7: he tell you to do. See bish Ohman and taught
- 9:11Speaker 7: me a lot. He had another book out and he said,
- 9:14Speaker 7: you know, knowing God's Voice or something like that. I'm
- 9:16Speaker 7: not sure the title, but I never really knew the
- 9:19Speaker 7: definition of how do you know it's God's voice talking
- 9:22Speaker 7: to you? Well, he clearly made a statement. God's voice
- 9:26Speaker 7: has no sining in it. Whenever you're talking about i'ma go,
- 9:30Speaker 7: I'm gonna show him. I'm gonna get him back. If
- 9:33Speaker 7: it's sining in it, God ain't in it. See that's
- 9:35Speaker 7: you now. God's voice has no sining in it. So
- 9:39Speaker 7: when you say God told me, be careful because God
- 9:44Speaker 7: ain't never told you to go do nothing wrong, that
- 9:47Speaker 7: ain't what he told you. And I learned that too.
- 9:50Speaker 7: It's a lot. So I'm just sharing today. I hope
- 9:52Speaker 7: it helps somebody today get through a difficult time because
- 9:55Speaker 7: the show has helped me.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, animal traders, all lovers
- 10:10Speaker 7: of animals, Animal lovers, we have, I know at least
- 10:13Speaker 7: one of those on the show, which is color Callers,
- 10:15Speaker 7: an animal lover, an avid animal animal.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Lover, not reptiles.
- 10:22Speaker 2: But go ahead. Yeah, you know.
- 10:24Speaker 7: I'm always curious when I'm driving behind somebody and I
- 10:27Speaker 7: see them with the sign that says I break for animals,
- 10:31Speaker 7: and then uh, well mine would say I break for animals.
- 10:36Speaker 7: It depends, Yes, the Voper sticker I need, it depends.
- 10:41Speaker 7: So I just wanted to say this is a stick
- 10:44Speaker 7: for all animal lovers.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Are dog lovers?
- 10:46Speaker 8: Uh?
- 10:47Speaker 7: Kind about cat lovers or all that, you know, ladies
- 10:52Speaker 7: and gentlemen. I'm just I'm just grateful today.
- 10:54Speaker 9: Man.
- 10:55Speaker 7: God did something for me this morning that really lifted
- 10:58Speaker 7: my spirits. Man, And it was it was something you know,
- 11:00Speaker 7: I told you a couple of days. I was going
- 11:02Speaker 7: through something and God just here he come. It just
- 11:05Speaker 7: and then my wife came and told me the news.
- 11:07Speaker 7: And then she said, Steve, he's good. He's still coming.
- 11:10Speaker 7: He ain't got here yet. He just he just did
- 11:13Speaker 7: a little something for you because he saw you fading.
- 11:16Speaker 7: Yeah I was fading. Yeah, but here he come. I
- 11:20Speaker 7: asked for a son. Sometimes you know, what have you ever.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Just said?
- 11:25Speaker 10: God?
- 11:25Speaker 7: Okay, cool, Just show me a sign that it's gonna
- 11:30Speaker 7: be all right. Sometimes I just asked for a sign.

- 11:42Speaker 2: What's on your mind today?
- 11:43Speaker 11: Man?
- 11:44Speaker 10: Let me let me you know you've got a storied life.
- 11:47Speaker 12: You know your story story and if you if you
- 11:52Speaker 12: wrote an autobiography, Uncle, what would you title your book
- 11:56Speaker 12: based upon your life?
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh?
- 11:58Speaker 7: I could pick from a plethrough titles. Let me just
- 12:01Speaker 7: off the top of my head. Oh, guess what the
- 12:05Speaker 7: hell happened? One of my favorites would have been all
- 12:12Speaker 7: hell Now was tight on autody. I can't explain it,
- 12:20Speaker 7: don't know how I made it. The best title for
- 12:24Speaker 7: me would be.
- 12:24Speaker 2: God he is dot dot dot.
- 12:28Speaker 7: And then read my story and listen, man, my life
- 12:33Speaker 7: ain't been no harder than nobody else's, because I know it.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I know that some people out there with some horrible situations.
- 12:39Speaker 7: Because you know, no matter how bad you think you
- 12:41Speaker 7: got it, somebody didne had it worse.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So that's not it.
- 12:45Speaker 7: But it's just how God has never left me, man,
- 12:50Speaker 7: and how he just always.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Always pulled me through.
- 12:55Speaker 7: Man, I don't care. You know, I was watching Chris
- 12:57Speaker 7: Spenser sent me this. They did this thing for the

- 13:03Speaker 7: And we sat at this bar and we's in a
- 13:06Speaker 7: ted chair and we were just we talked about the
- 13:10Speaker 7: whole history of the Kings and Chris Spencer's releasing It's
- 13:14Speaker 7: gonna be really good.
- 13:15Speaker 2: It brought back a lot of memories.
- 13:17Speaker 8: Man.
- 13:17Speaker 7: But when I was just sitting there, I'll tell you
- 13:21Speaker 7: something said said in it at the oh my closing

- 18:28Speaker 8: I gaant you, sir.
- 18:29Speaker 16: I don't want any altercations when I get there. I

- 21:33Speaker 1: Harvey, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:41Speaker 12: This Sunday, Redfin is kicking off an even bigger game.

- 22:11Speaker 15: com for official rules.
- 22:12Speaker 13: Coming up at the top of the hour. And entertainment news,
- 22:15Speaker 13: our forever First Lady Michelle Obama's documentary Becoming is rising
- 22:20Speaker 13: to the top on Netflix.
- 22:21Speaker 1: We'll tell you why.
- 22:23Speaker 13: Don Lemon shared details about his arrest on Jimmy Kimmel
- 22:26Speaker 13: and Sherry Shepherd's show. Her daytime talk show sadly has
- 22:30Speaker 13: been canceled. We'll talk about all of these stories at
- 22:33Speaker 13: the top of the hour, but right now it is
- 22:36Speaker 13: time to ask the COLO, our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Ready, COLO, Yes, sure, all right? Thank you.
- 22:44Speaker 13: This is from Simone in Elgin. Simone writes, my husband
- 22:49Speaker 13: calls me all day while I'm working, so I ignore
- 22:52Speaker 13: his calls a lot. Today I ignored him and he
- 22:55Speaker 13: came up to my job to see if I was okay.
- 22:58Speaker 13: I thought he was being but my boss said, I
- 23:02Speaker 13: have a crazy man on my hands.
- 23:04Speaker 1: What do you think you don't see that?
- 23:07Speaker 2: Why is your boss in your marriage? Just the biggest ask?
- 23:11Speaker 7: Why is it for him to analyze? There's nothing wrong
- 23:14Speaker 7: with a man calling his wife. You don't answer, and
- 23:16Speaker 7: then you go up there and see something wrong. Maybe
- 23:17Speaker 7: he had a feeling that something could have been wrong.
- 23:19Speaker 7: That's a pretty sweet gesture. There are women who would
- 23:22Speaker 7: love a man that called and checked on him a lot.
- 23:26Speaker 7: It would be a woman who would love for a
- 23:27Speaker 7: man to come up on.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Their job and check on and make sure they're okay.
- 23:30Speaker 7: Don't let your boss, who would not probably go check
- 23:34Speaker 7: on his wife or any other female for any reason
- 23:37Speaker 7: of any kind, get in the way of your marriage.
- 23:40Speaker 7: That's what I'm more concerned about than anything. He called
- 23:43Speaker 7: all the time. You ignore it a lot, Okay, cool,
- 23:46Speaker 7: you don't done that. But this time he came up
- 23:48Speaker 7: there to check on you? Your boss say you married
- 23:50Speaker 7: to a crazy person. What business is it?
- 23:52Speaker 11: He is?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Ask your boss.
- 23:55Speaker 7: Would he go check on his wife for anything? And
- 23:57Speaker 7: as would probably be no, No, he'll know work.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Okay coo. Then you have your answer.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Is it both interested in her at all?
- 24:08Speaker 7: Trying to Yeah, and he's trying to throw shade mad
- 24:12Speaker 7: you're a trading person because what are you all over
- 24:15Speaker 7: in that for?
- 24:16Speaker 1: How business?
- 24:19Speaker 8: All?
- 24:19Speaker 16: Right?
- 24:19Speaker 3: Clo?
- 24:20Speaker 13: This is from tie in Valdosta. Tye writes, My sister
- 24:24Speaker 13: keeps my son after school. Yesterday, my son said, my
- 24:28Speaker 13: sister fed her kids baked chicken and macaroni while he
- 24:32Speaker 13: ate a sandwich. She said she didn't have enough food
- 24:35Speaker 13: to feed him. I pay her weekly? Am I supposed
- 24:39Speaker 13: to buy groceries too?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Well? If you pay her?
- 24:43Speaker 7: Look, you can't feed the other baby. What you don't
- 24:46Speaker 7: feed that? That don't make no sense.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Difference with the child?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:52Speaker 7: That that ain't hide work man, that's trying. Yeah, and
- 24:56Speaker 7: she tried to load down and she.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Know it does?
- 25:01Speaker 2: How much an extra piece of raw chicken? Call? They
- 25:06Speaker 2: might have some big babies though they might be some
- 25:08Speaker 2: big kids. That's what they need to share.
- 25:11Speaker 7: And if she cut back, there wouldn't be a bunch
- 25:13Speaker 7: of little fat kids sitting on Steve.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Your babies over there looking like they soon were restless.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I said it, yes, and we're moving We're moving on.
- 25:28Speaker 2: We're moving on.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Sure.
- 25:29Speaker 2: It just took a.
- 25:30Speaker 1: John and paramise right. So our neighbors are arguing.
- 25:34Speaker 13: We're arguing out front, and my wife went over to
- 25:37Speaker 13: calm the wife down. The husband called my wife the
- 25:40Speaker 13: B word and told her to go home. I don't
- 25:43Speaker 13: I almost swung on him, but he apologized quickly. How
- 25:47Speaker 13: do I get my wife to mind her business?
- 25:50Speaker 1: Oh? What?
- 25:52Speaker 2: Let me take you?
- 25:53Speaker 7: What what you did something to my wife? I don't
- 25:58Speaker 7: do now. I don't know what you call your wife.
- 26:02Speaker 7: But if if I, if I know you, and you
- 26:04Speaker 7: call my wife to be worried, I'm I'm gonna look
- 26:07Speaker 7: for you. And if your response is not proper, then
- 26:11Speaker 7: then then we're gonna go to level two.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Well he did apologize quickly.
- 26:16Speaker 7: Well that's saved, that saved. But now you got to
- 26:20Speaker 7: talk to your wife. Just quit going over there, because see,
- 26:24Speaker 7: now you're gonna put me in a situation exactly because
- 26:28Speaker 7: next time he says something to you, I'm gonna handle it.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Different. So sometimes you have to mind your business.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Yes, yes, if.
- 26:36Speaker 7: They ain't out there fighting, they just argue that ain't
- 26:39Speaker 7: your business? Now if he pushed it?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Wow?
- 26:46Speaker 2: All right, all right, you gotta protect your husband.
- 26:53Speaker 7: Ladies, don't put your husband in a situation where he got.
- 26:58Speaker 1: To be more than he needs to be.
- 27:00Speaker 2: You're right, and grown women know.
- 27:03Speaker 13: That absolutely that part all right? Last one, Steve, This
- 27:08Speaker 13: is uh. This is from Maxie and DeSoto. Maxie writes,
- 27:13Speaker 13: I'm falling for a man that can't talk. I get
- 27:17Speaker 13: anxious when he's around my close friends because they make
- 27:20Speaker 13: fun of him when he speaks. He isn't a good
- 27:23Speaker 13: reader either, but he has a great job and he
- 27:26Speaker 13: makes good money.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Should I overlook how he talks?
- 27:30Speaker 11: Hell?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been overlooking how many times?
- 27:33Speaker 1: This is not about you.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I'm just telling you. I'm just telling you.
- 27:41Speaker 1: She means can't speak proper grammar? Is that is?
- 27:45Speaker 2: What that is? He can talk? You know, he got Yeah, yeah,
- 27:50Speaker 2: he's not mute.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Good money.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Okay, I fuse that so many times? Yeah?
- 27:57Speaker 1: What are her friends saying behind his back?
- 27:59Speaker 2: Though?
- 27:59Speaker 1: That's the issue?
- 28:01Speaker 9: Girl?
- 28:02Speaker 2: How y'all having a conversation?
- 28:05Speaker 1: What what?

- 28:32Speaker 2: Do you got? Wayne? But what can you check it? Check? Check?
- 28:37Speaker 2: Can you check for me? See? Excuse me, sir? So

- 30:16Speaker 1: Hey, y'all, this is Monica. This is Spike Lee. Hey,
- 30:19Speaker 1: this is Mary J.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Blood.
- 30:20Speaker 8: Yo.
- 30:20Speaker 2: This is Steven A. Smith.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Hey, this is Chaka Kahan.
- 30:23Speaker 2: You have no idea what it is.
- 30:25Speaker 1: This is Carlos Miller. And this may or may not
- 30:27Speaker 1: be the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:29Speaker 14: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Or forever.
- 30:37Speaker 13: First Lady Michelle Obama's documentary Becoming, initially released back in
- 30:42Speaker 13: twenty twenty on Netflix, has re emerged in the top ten.
- 30:47Speaker 13: What is driving this renewed interest, you ask well. Last weekend,
- 30:51Speaker 13: social media platforms including x Threads and TikTok urged their
- 30:56Speaker 13: viewers to watch Becoming, and response to the recent release
- 30:59Speaker 13: of First Lady Milannia Trump's documentary Watching Me Coming is
- 31:03Speaker 13: perceived as a culturally powerful move, and all we can
- 31:07Speaker 13: say to that is, hey, happy Black history month.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Okay, congratulations to watch it.
- 31:13Speaker 13: Yeah, let's go high, say less. We understand the assignment,
- 31:22Speaker 13: all right? And other entertainment news. Don Lemon was a
- 31:25Speaker 13: recent guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and he said he
- 31:29Speaker 13: wanted to turn himself in when he was arrested last
- 31:32Speaker 13: week on federal charger stemming from that January eighteenth protest
- 31:36Speaker 13: in Minnesota at the church, but the Justice Department never responded,
- 31:41Speaker 13: he said. Instead they arrested him at his hotel. He
- 31:46Speaker 13: was in California. He was in La getting ready to
- 31:49Speaker 13: go to a Grammy party. Don said he went there
- 31:52Speaker 13: to be a journalist. He went to Minnesota to be
- 31:54Speaker 13: a journalist and not a protester. A federal Grand Jurion
- 31:58Speaker 13: died at Don and several other for alleged violations of
- 32:02Speaker 13: a Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act. Really sounds
- 32:07Speaker 13: like they just made that up, but anyway that protects
- 32:11Speaker 13: law abiding people while they're in places of worship. Don
- 32:15Speaker 13: called his arrest a violation of the First Amendment, and
- 32:19Speaker 13: I mean it's that arrest was crazy. It was because
- 32:24Speaker 13: he was there, he said, you know, to cover the
- 32:27Speaker 13: event as a journalist, not to protest.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Man and they arrested him. Anyway, Bro, they do.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Like they want to.
- 32:33Speaker 7: He uses the Department of Justice as a tool to
- 32:37Speaker 7: get back at anybody who is against him.
- 32:40Speaker 2: You've never seen this done before at this petty of
- 32:45Speaker 2: a level.
- 32:46Speaker 7: Right, If you increasingly say something about him, he is
- 32:51Speaker 7: going to come for you. You do have to be
- 32:54Speaker 7: careful because one of these dudes they got the power.
- 32:58Speaker 6: Man.
- 32:58Speaker 7: They man, what they doing with these masks on is crazy. Yeah,
- 33:04Speaker 7: And you can tell they don't have training, these ice ages. Man,
- 33:08Speaker 7: they just it's too many of them showing up out
- 33:10Speaker 7: of nowhere for them to have proper training, if any.
- 33:13Speaker 7: But they got to they got to the wherewithal to
- 33:17Speaker 7: do any And you can tell by the way they
- 33:19Speaker 7: act they.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Know they have no accountability.
- 33:23Speaker 7: Democrats are trying to get these Uh you got to
- 33:26Speaker 7: have real warrants to go in people's houses. Democrats trying
- 33:30Speaker 7: to stop these masks, you know, and all this here,
- 33:33Speaker 7: But all this trying and doing it is two different things.
- 33:37Speaker 18: Yeah yeah, yeah, but I mean, don let me kind
- 33:40Speaker 18: arrested for being a journalist.
- 33:42Speaker 13: A journalist for doing his job. Yeah, because lawyer says,
- 33:45Speaker 13: they're gonna fight it. They're gonna fight the charges.
- 33:47Speaker 2: But they what was the charge?
- 33:49Speaker 10: Surely what was a charge?
- 33:51Speaker 19: Call?
- 33:52Speaker 13: Oh, Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.
- 33:57Speaker 12: They had then to do a hospital clinic. Yeah, it's
- 34:01Speaker 12: not metal saying, I'll probably give it a chargement.
- 34:08Speaker 10: Clinic interests.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Yeah, this is crazy.
- 34:12Speaker 13: Yeah, it protects law abiding people while they're in places
- 34:15Speaker 13: of worship.
- 34:18Speaker 1: That's what the act is. But yeah, yeah, all right.
- 34:22Speaker 13: Well, finally, in entertainment news, the Sherry Shepherd talk Show
- 34:27Speaker 13: has been canceled. It's been on the air for four seasons.
- 34:29Speaker 13: Of course, she came on to replace the Wendy Williams
- 34:32Speaker 13: Show after you know, Wendy had her situation. But the
- 34:38Speaker 13: state of daytime talk show and daytime TV programming is changing,
- 34:42Speaker 13: wouldn't you say, Steve Well, TV.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Period is changing. It's just it's sliding.
- 34:50Speaker 7: It just is, man, because there's too many streams, YouTube,
- 34:54Speaker 7: too many, it's just so many platforms, and people don't
- 34:58Speaker 7: watch TV the way they used to. You know, you
- 35:00Speaker 7: had to watch it Wednesday night at eight o'clock. You
- 35:03Speaker 7: had to watch Wow.
- 35:04Speaker 9: Man.
- 35:05Speaker 7: Now they just cut it on and watch it when
- 35:07Speaker 7: they want to, so you can't get a rating.
- 35:11Speaker 18: You know, Is that so Is that the same for
- 35:15Speaker 18: daytime TV? Because it it's the same for ever been
- 35:19Speaker 18: the same, you know with daytime where it was always
- 35:21Speaker 18: talk shows, you know, oh, Bra Motel.
- 35:25Speaker 7: But see that started falling off years ago, you know,
- 35:29Speaker 7: because the numbers have changed.
- 35:30Speaker 2: It used to be in primetime when I was on TV.
- 35:35Speaker 7: In primetime Steve Harvey Show, you had to have a
- 35:37Speaker 7: seven to have a hit show seven points. Today, if
- 35:42Speaker 7: you have a point seven you can stay on TV.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Wow, what a big difference.
- 35:48Speaker 7: It's a huge difference, man, It's a huge, huge difference.
- 35:52Speaker 7: And it's just not what it was anymore. So everything
- 35:56Speaker 7: is taking a hit, you know, but they got to
- 35:58Speaker 7: put something on any content I'm gonna be on. So
- 36:03Speaker 7: what they do is when they take these shows off,
- 36:05Speaker 7: then you're gonna see a reruns of Seinfeld or Friends
- 36:09Speaker 7: or something like that.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gone.
- 36:12Speaker 13: Other days and we used to sit around the TV
- 36:14Speaker 13: as a family, We talked about Sanford and Son. The
- 36:16Speaker 13: other day, watch Sanford and Son, or Good Times or
- 36:20Speaker 13: the Jeffersons or you know whatever.
- 36:23Speaker 1: It was gone are those days? We don't do that anymore.
- 36:28Speaker 2: That was not life coming home as a kid to them.
- 36:31Speaker 18: Yeah, and everybody wasn't so sensitive when you watch those
- 36:36Speaker 18: shows and their.
- 36:37Speaker 20: Topics would have got thrown off all of that.
- 36:53Speaker 1: George Jefferson, Oh my goodness, Stanford and son Fritz Sanford.
- 37:00Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, those days are no longer. But we wish
- 37:04Speaker 13: Sherry well of course. Well I'm sure she'll come up
- 37:08Speaker 13: somewhere else, ye, and we wish her well. All right,

- 48:56Speaker 9: dinner or something.
- 48:57Speaker 19: Well, I'll be quite honest, I just came back home
- 49:00Speaker 19: from overseas, from fighting and everything, man.
- 49:02Speaker 9: And uh.
- 49:03Speaker 19: I mean, you know, my pops just passed away not
- 49:06Speaker 19: too long ago. And I ain't you know, I ain't
- 49:08Speaker 19: too keen on my mama going out with somebody. And besides,

- 49:30Speaker 9: I look at it like it's you know heyes, ain't number.
- 49:32Speaker 9: But the number man, it wasn't in your heart? Man,
- 49:35Speaker 9: And how you carry yourself?
- 49:36Speaker 16: You know?
- 49:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 49:36Speaker 19: But my mom Hey, hey, but my MoMA ain't no

- 51:20Speaker 19: where you're from. I don't get how old you are.
- 51:23Speaker 16: I'm pretty thick.
- 51:24Speaker 19: I know what church my mama go to, and it
- 51:26Speaker 19: ain't gonna be her and you. You ain't gonna be asking.
- 51:29Speaker 16: Her out, all right.
- 51:30Speaker 19: I don't give what it take. I would show up
- 51:33Speaker 19: on Sunday, catch up in the poor pit or wherever
- 51:36Speaker 19: you're gonna be sitting in the back and the choir.

- 51:51Speaker 9: right now. It ain't gonna happen.
- 51:53Speaker 19: I told you before be blessed or get your whoop.
- 51:56Speaker 19: You got two choices, all right. I didn't fight or

- 56:49Speaker 13: Thank you nephew. Subject to My honey and my hobby
- 56:53Speaker 13: are friends. Dear Stephen Shirley. I have had a special
- 56:57Speaker 13: friend for twenty years, and I was with him when
- 57:00Speaker 13: I met the man I married. I call my friend
- 57:03Speaker 13: my honey, and my husband is my hobby. It took
- 57:08Speaker 13: a good minute for my hobby to get used to
- 57:10Speaker 13: my honey being around. My honey is very flamboyant and exuberant.
- 57:16Speaker 13: That's the only way for me to describe him. He
- 57:18Speaker 13: loves to dress, he always smells wonderful, and he gives
- 57:22Speaker 13: me styal and home decorating advice all the time. After
- 57:27Speaker 13: my first child, my honey was there by my side
- 57:30Speaker 13: daily to make sure I was fed and I was
- 57:33Speaker 13: cute when people stopped by to see the baby. My
- 57:36Speaker 13: hobby learned to appreciate my honey because Honey was ready
- 57:40Speaker 13: and willing to help us out and give us a
- 57:42Speaker 13: break from the kids. Honey is here in the blink
- 57:45Speaker 13: of an eye if I need him, so I feel
- 57:47Speaker 13: strange for writing to you about being jealous. Right after
- 57:51Speaker 13: I had the baby, I was lying in bed alone
- 57:54Speaker 13: and I could hear Honey and Hubby in the kitchen
- 57:57Speaker 13: cooking and laughing. Even Honey to bring his boyfriend over
- 58:02Speaker 13: a couple of times. The three of them went to
- 58:05Speaker 13: watch the game last week and left me home with
- 58:07Speaker 13: the kids. I am jealous of their great friendship. When
- 58:12Speaker 13: I am on the phone with Honey, my husband, my
- 58:14Speaker 13: Hobby yells from the background to tell Honey, Hi, they've
- 58:18Speaker 13: made plans to watch the big game at our house
- 58:20Speaker 13: and didn't even tell me. Honey planned to cook and everything.
- 58:24Speaker 13: He and I usually go out on days like that
- 58:27Speaker 13: while my Hobby watches the game with his friends. I
- 58:30Speaker 13: want Honey back. I hate to admit this, but I
- 58:33Speaker 13: was happier when my Hobby avoided Honey.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Should I feel blessed that they're so cool?
- 58:39Speaker 13: Well, if you're feeling how you're feeling right now, left
- 58:43Speaker 13: out and jealous of their tight relationship, then no, this
- 58:48Speaker 13: is not a blessing to you, not at all, And
- 58:50Speaker 13: not that it's too late, But why haven't you spoken
- 58:53Speaker 13: up before now? Because they are really really close. Now
- 58:57Speaker 13: they're doing things and leaving you out. Friend was a woman,
- 59:02Speaker 13: you would have shut it down a long time ago.
- 59:05Speaker 13: You would have run her off, accusing her of trying
- 59:07Speaker 13: to get with your man. If it was a woman,
- 59:09Speaker 13: this is your friend for twenty years, you ought to
- 59:12Speaker 13: be able to talk to him about it. Talk to
- 59:14Speaker 13: your husband too, Tell them both how you feel. Find
- 59:17Speaker 13: out why you're being left out, why they're choosing, you know,
- 59:21Speaker 13: to leave you out, and find out what's going on
- 59:23Speaker 13: with them.
- 59:24Speaker 7: Steve, Well, don't nobody want to tell her? Don't nobody
- 59:34Speaker 7: want to you got news war? Yeah, don't nobody want
- 59:39Speaker 7: to tell her. The title of this letter should be
- 59:45Speaker 7: Ain't nobody told me nothing? That should be the title
- 59:51Speaker 7: of this letter. I don't know how else to make
- 59:56Speaker 7: of this letter. I don't know, but I'm listening. You know,
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: she she had this friend for twenty years, and she
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: was friends when when she met her husband.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: I called my friend honey, and my husband is my hobby.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Ain't that cute?
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: And it took a good minute for my hobby to
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: get used to Honey being around. Now, this is the
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: way she wants to make us hear. This what she
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: trying to say. Because you gotta be careful nowadays in
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: this climate. So she's being politically correct. She says, my
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: honey is very flamboyant and exuberant, and that's the only
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: way for me to describe him. Oh, I ain't the
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: only way, but we're gonna let you have it. You
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: wanna just leave it there, We're gonna We're gonna leave
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: it there with you. Mister flamboyant and exuberant. He loves
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: to dress. He always smells wonderful. He gives me styling
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: home decorating advice all the time.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Or who who who better?
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: Who better to teach you how to dress at home
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: decorating advice than honey?
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: I mean, I mean he is flamboyant and exuberant. Let's
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: just keep using your term so I don't get in
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: no trouble.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: But anyway, after I had my first child, my honey
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: was there by my side daily, make sure I was
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: fed and I was cute when people stopped by to
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: see the baby. You better, you better be that honey.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: My hobby learned to appreciate my honey.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Because honey was ready and willing to help us out
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: and give us a break from the kid. Okay, So
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: that that how it started.
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: This is how your man started to learn to appreciate
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: the flambuyant and exuberant friend you had, Because you get
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: Honey is here in the blink of her eye.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: I know that's right if I need him.
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: So I feel strange for writing about this, being jealous.
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: Right after I had the baby, I was laying in
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: bed alone and I could.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Hear Honey and Hobby in the kitchen cooking and laughing.
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: He even allowed Honey to bring his boyfriend over a
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: couple of times. What what you don't see nothing? All
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: this cooking and laughing in the kitchen, three of them?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Now, Yo, you don't see nothing?
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Hang on, we come back doors, gonna just have some,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: ain't nobody told her?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: We'll have part two.
- 1:03:03Speaker 13: Of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:03:06Speaker 13: the hour Today's Strawberry Letter subject my Honey and my
- 1:03:10Speaker 13: Hobby are friends. We'll get back into it right after this.

- 1:03:36Speaker 10: The winner will be the first.
- 1:03:37Speaker 12: To solve six clues and find the million dollar home
- 1:03:40Speaker 12: on the Redfin app. Download or update the app to

- 1:03:45Speaker 15: Present it by Rocket. No purchase necessary. Fifty USDC must
- 1:03:48Speaker 15: be age majority. Visit the Great American Home Search dot
- 1:03:50Speaker 15: com for official rules.
- 1:03:52Speaker 13: All right, come on, Steve Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 13: The subject is my honey and my hobby are friends.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: The new title of this letter was, which is what
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: we're gonna get into in this half is? Ain't nobody
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: told her nothing?
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Tell them Stephen? She had, thank you you gee. She had.
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: She had a friend for twenty years and the best
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: way for her to describe him is he's flamboyant.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: He's flamboyant, and he is, you know, exuberant.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: He's very good at dressing, smells good all the time,
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: he can decorate a house, and he's there in the
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: blink of a nile. Took a while, then you said,
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: and your letter took a while for your hobby to
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: get used to your honey. But if you had your
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: first child. He was there every day, Honey was and
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: when people came by to see the baby he made
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: you was looking cute, and you know, so people stopped by,
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: you would look your best.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Then you say your hobby.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: Learn to appreciate Honey, because Honey was ready and willing
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: to help us out and give us a break from
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: the kids.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Honey is here in the.
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: Blink of an eye, all right now, Honey, so now
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: if I need him. So I feel strange for writing
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: you about being jealous.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Whoa, whoa, whoa wa, where did that comes from?
- 1:05:18Speaker 16: All set?
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: See, you gotta pay attention to these letters.
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: So I feel strange about writing this letter about being
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: jealous because now, right after I had the baby, I was.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Lying in bed alone keyword. I was lying in bed alone,
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: and I could hear Honey and Hobby in the kitchen
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: cooking and laugh.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: My wife has several flamboyant and exuberant people in her life,
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: in her circle of friends, her and her girls. It's
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: a couple of fellas that's in that group. You know,
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: that's flamboyant an exuber She ain't never heard me in
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: the kitchen laughing, cooking with now one of them I'm
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: just saying.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: But when your husband was in the kitchen laughing and cooking.
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: With Honey, and then he even allowed Honey to bring
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: his boyfriend over a couple of times. Oh, he just comfortable. Now,
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: anybody told you? Ain't nobody said nothing to you? Well,
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: you rode in to me, So here we go. The
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: three of them went to watch the game last week
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: and left me home with the kids.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: That what they told you?
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: Ain't nobody told you? Now for all the other football games,
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: you and Honey was out shopping. Now all of a sudden,
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: the three of them going to watch the game. Anybody
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: tell you? And left me at home with the kids.
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: So much for helping out, so much for blink of
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: an eye. I was jealous of their great friendship. What
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: and ibody told you? When I'm on the phone with Honey,
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: my husband yells from the background, t tell Honey, I said, Hi, what.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: And ibody told you? Anybody told you that?
- 1:07:32Speaker 15: What we do?
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Okay? Now here we go.
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: They've made plans to watch the big game at our
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: house and didn't even tell me, Honey, plan to cook
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: and everything here. And I usually go out on days
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: like that while my hubby watches the game with his friends,
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: or your hubby got some new friends. Your husband and
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: friends were Honey, Honey, boyfriend, and they ain't told you
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: they watching the game Over there you find to meet
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: some whole another set of flamboyant and exuberant friends your house.

- 1:08:15Speaker 7: whoa whoa whoa old swear? Somebody told you see you
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: switching in and out? So now so I want honey
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: back back from who? I hate to meet? This I
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: hate to me When I was happier when my husband
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: avoided Honey. Well, he don't avoid Honey no more. He
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: don't avoid Honey or his boy friend. Should I feel
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: blessed that they so cool? Blessed?
- 1:08:39Speaker 16: What?
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: Ain't nobody told you? What you're not listening? Should you
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: feel blessed? Well?
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: I guess if you always wanted your husband to be
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: more open minded, I guess that's a blessing. I guess
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: if you wanted your husband to see how beautiful of
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: a man.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Honey really was, that has happened.
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: You know, if you wanted your husband to start accepting
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: Honey's lifestyle and and and have it boyfriend and over
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: and then that has happened.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: If you wanted them to have a better relationship. You
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: know theyre in there laughing and cooking and you know
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: all that. You know, but it ain't it ain't that.

- 1:11:17Speaker 12: Myles Garrett for sitting the sack record for the Cleveland Brown.
- 1:11:21Speaker 12: We also have, uh, the Winter Olympics starting tomorrow. Now,
- 1:11:26Speaker 12: the Winter Olympics in Milan, we'll be starting tomorrow, I
- 1:11:30Speaker 12: think we have.

- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Dog?
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: I watched the win Olympics all the time. I don't

- 1:11:47Speaker 2: That's some amazing story. I mean, I watch it, but
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I ain't my favorite.

- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the one when they be mopping? What's the
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: one they be mopping? Hey, hey, hey, Kirk, that's curly man.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: That's what I'm here from the expert on that one.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: You don't even understand how much I love that. I
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: watch them.
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: But I'm gonna tell you what I really like. I
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: like cross country skiing. And then they gotta lay down
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: and shoot after they hard. Yeah, what's it called a
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: by after lawn?
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: I like that right there? You be watching the dog,
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: I'll be into it.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: And I like the lose.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: I like these more than the mob staying. When you
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: throw that down that hill, heads first, Oh, you gotta
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: have you gotta be you gotta be worked through that
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: got to be white. I love that, man.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: You gotta give us.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Leg coming down there about eighteen dollars an hour, and then.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: You lose control.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Now you're all up in the stands with them people
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: with the ice. There's a whole lot of sports I
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: like in that man, I like, all, God, J I didn't.
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: Know that we got some we got some black people
- 1:13:12Speaker 10: competing too.
- 1:13:13Speaker 12: Because Aaron Jackson, Yeah, Aaron Jackson, Layla Edwards build a
- 1:13:18Speaker 12: hockey team, the two women's hockey team. They on the
- 1:13:20Speaker 12: USA women's hockey team. Aaron Jackson is the speed skating.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I pulled for them.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: But Canada and them, Uh, Canada, they skate. That's all
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: they do is play hockey hard to whoop them Canadians
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: swishing stuff like that.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: What is the skeleton?
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: I know what that is? Skeleton? That's all?
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: What is that?
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: That's got some bones? What do you mean when a skeleton?
- 1:13:49Speaker 16: In?
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: Noting up?
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: It thinking?
- 1:13:51Speaker 13: Junior coming up at the top of the hour, a
- 1:13:53Speaker 13: man on social media needs some advice.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: He says. It's married ex wants to be friends. We'll
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: talk about it right after this.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: That's your body with no meat on it? Boy, what
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: did you tell me?
- 1:14:04Speaker 13: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 1:14:11Speaker 13: from Cole on Steve HARVEFM. Cole says, my ex and
- 1:14:15Speaker 13: I were together for almost ten years, broke up two
- 1:14:19Speaker 13: years ago and she got married less than a year
- 1:14:22Speaker 13: after that. Over the weekend, she texted me and told
- 1:14:25Speaker 13: me she misses me and wants to be friends, saying
- 1:14:28Speaker 13: she doesn't want me out of her life completely. I
- 1:14:31Speaker 13: was polite but told her I'm not interested because reopening
- 1:14:34Speaker 13: that door feels unhealthy and disrespectful to both of us.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Am I wrong? Here's his question?
- 1:14:41Speaker 13: Am I wrong for setting a hard boundary and refusing
- 1:14:44Speaker 13: to stay connected to someone who's already built a new
- 1:14:47Speaker 13: life without me?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Hey, bro, don't do that. You know, we ain't got
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: a lot of instincts.
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: But when they tell you when you hit them along
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: bales going off fellas, you gotta listen to them.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: They had no benefit to that. I don't want you
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: out of my life. I miss you. No, you should
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: have thought all that. Hell, Neil, and you knew the
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: relationship was toxic. Bro, please want to sign pete that's
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: what she wants.
- 1:15:13Speaker 13: Well, he's not going for it, all right, All right, Steve,
- 1:15:17Speaker 13: we have time for one more. This is from Tanisha.
- 1:15:19Speaker 13: Tanisha says, I moved halfway across the country to be
- 1:15:23Speaker 13: with my boyfriend after we'd been long distance for a while,
- 1:15:26Speaker 13: and now that I'm here, he works all the time.
- 1:15:28Speaker 13: I don't really know anyone yet, So every day I'm
- 1:15:31Speaker 13: alone in a new place, with nothing to do but
- 1:15:33Speaker 13: wait for him to come home, exhausted. I know he's
- 1:15:37Speaker 13: doing this for his career and our future, and I
- 1:15:41Speaker 13: don't want to sound needy or ungrateful, but at the
- 1:15:44Speaker 13: same time, I gave up my job, I gave up
- 1:15:46Speaker 13: my friends and my routine to be here, and I
- 1:15:49Speaker 13: didn't expect to feel this isolated. Isn't unfair of me
- 1:15:53Speaker 13: to be unhappy? Or is this a sign we didn't
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: think this through enough?
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Well, of course, so sign that you didn't think it
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: through it.
- 1:16:03Speaker 16: Y'all.
- 1:16:03Speaker 7: Y'all didn't talk about this. You didn't know that this
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: man was busy. You don't know this man trying to
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: get his career together and she got.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Married to him. Yeah, yeah, I mean someone they're not engaged.
- 1:16:18Speaker 7: You know, you went over there, y'all just made this move, y'all,
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: But not now you're over there complaining. That's a little
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: bit unfair, because man, see, I'm not saying this is
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: your fault, ma'am.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: I'm just saying, y'all didn't talk this out. You didn't
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: think you ain't think this, You ain't think this out
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: at all.
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: Now, you.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: You can't get mad at him for working.
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: Come on now, now, if he was spending time with
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: his boys and had all these extracurriculum activities and wasn't
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: spending time with you, complaint valid. But he had work,
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: then he come home exhausted. Now you're talking about what
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: all you gave up if you didn't want to give
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: it all.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Up for him. Marriage is not for you, because that's
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: a part of it.
- 1:17:05Speaker 7: Sometimes you have to give up some other relationships to
- 1:17:08Speaker 7: have the bigger, better one. You know, you got to
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: cut some people loose. You can't be single and free
- 1:17:15Speaker 7: and married at the same time. Those two things can't exist.
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: So maybe you should just say, hey, listen, let me
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: go back home for a little while, and then when
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: you get a little bit more stable on your feet,
- 1:17:29Speaker 7: we'll keep this long just relationship and then we'll see
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: where it is.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Or you need to make the adjustment, get your job
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: and get you some friends.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Right because she quit her job to move there, well,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: you know he did.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: He ask you to.
- 1:17:43Speaker 18: She followed her boyfriend. You need to follow your husband.
- 1:17:46Speaker 18: He needs to marry.
- 1:17:51Speaker 13: She's not engaged, she says, never ring nothing. She moved
- 1:17:54Speaker 13: halfway across the country.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: For the time they passle. He were going to all,
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: you're out there in the middle of nowhere. That's what
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: she did.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're right, Steve.
- 1:18:11Speaker 13: She's got to get out, she's got to get a job,
- 1:18:13Speaker 13: she's got to make some friends so she can have
- 1:18:15Speaker 13: a life of her own. Then she wouldn't be so
- 1:18:17Speaker 13: upset about this guy. Or go back home and try
- 1:18:21Speaker 13: to get her old job back, right.
- 1:18:25Speaker 7: I don't think going back is the whole solution. First
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: of all, stop blaming him. Get yourself a job, and
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: make yourself some new friends.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: You know, that's what.
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: Starting over it looks like. Yeah, starting over don't mean
- 1:18:38Speaker 7: you get to go right back to where you was.
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: That ain't starting over. You're trying to start a life
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: with a man. It's going to require some refiring of
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: the injuredes.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:18:48Speaker 13: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:51Speaker 13: up at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:18:54Speaker 13: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, it's been a
- 1:19:01Speaker 13: rough winter for iguanas in Florida. Wow, frigid times have
- 1:19:06Speaker 13: seen the lizards drop from trees by the dozens. And
- 1:19:10Speaker 13: Jessica Kilgore of the Nuisance Animal Removal Service Iguana Solutions
- 1:19:15Speaker 13: is being kept really busy picking them up. Iguanas are
- 1:19:19Speaker 13: an invasive species to Florida, so Florida Fish and Wildlife
- 1:19:23Speaker 13: Conservation will either transfer the iguanas it receives to a
- 1:19:28Speaker 13: license out of state seller or euthanize them as an option.
- 1:19:32Speaker 13: Residents can warm them up inside and let them go.
- 1:19:35Speaker 13: So what's happening is in Florida, these frozen iguanas are
- 1:19:40Speaker 13: falling from trees.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: They're falling out of trees.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: You don't take them in the house, warm them up.
- 1:19:49Speaker 22: Animal in Florida, Man, these iguanas fall out these trees.
- 1:20:00Speaker 18: That is, who would pass out if I was walking
- 1:20:06Speaker 18: down the street pass out.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: There's just no way, Tommy, I'm talking about I'm dead.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: You win all out.
- 1:20:20Speaker 13: But I didn't even know they had a company or
- 1:20:23Speaker 13: a business that picked up iguanas right rescue in the
- 1:20:29Speaker 13: Iguana Iguana Removal Service.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: Yes, I didn't know animal could freeze and.
- 1:20:34Speaker 10: And still be.
- 1:20:38Speaker 13: Yeah, all right, coming up next, we'll play another round,
- 1:20:41Speaker 13: and would you rather right after this you're listening to
- 1:20:44Speaker 13: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:21:07Speaker 12: and find the million dollar home on the Redfin app.

- 1:21:21Speaker 1: It is time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:21:24Speaker 16: Now?
- 1:21:25Speaker 13: Listen to this guy's carefully? Would you rather win one
- 1:21:28Speaker 13: Super Bowl and suck as a player for the next
- 1:21:32Speaker 13: five years, or never win the Super Bowl but be
- 1:21:35Speaker 13: a good, healthy player for the next five years.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I want to win, So Tommy, you want to win? Junior,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you want to You don't want to win?
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: This word be healthy, and that's the one. That's what
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: it was like.

- 1:22:32Speaker 3: Low?
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Would you rather play offense or defense?
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: Defense? No, don't play defense?
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: Yeah, defense, that's eleven people won't let ball when you
- 1:22:43Speaker 7: get it. Now, that's just too much for me.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Defense, okay, all right?
- 1:22:50Speaker 16: All right?
- 1:22:50Speaker 13: If you were a boxer, would you rather be in

- 1:23:15Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: Like, all right?

- 1:23:25Speaker 21: Yes?
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: Yeah, how that's gonna look that's gonna look good at all?
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: Now you gotta buy another stood and put it somewhere else.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but you don't have an ear low?
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Would you rather coach the Sea Hawks or the Patriots?
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Say it again?
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Would you rather coach the Seahawks or the Patriots.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: Theowks. I can't coach the Patriots.
- 1:23:50Speaker 16: I can't.
- 1:23:50Speaker 13: Okay, you can't coach them all Right, last one, guys,

- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Dump Marvin out, Steve. I'm coming up our last break

- 1:25:28Speaker 21: Hey, everybody, Good morning everyone. This is Shanda College from Atlanta, Georgia.
- 1:25:33Speaker 21: I am so spoiled listening to you all that when
- 1:25:38Speaker 21: you play music, I get upset. I'm like, playing this one,
- 1:25:42Speaker 21: why are not here? I'm like, oh this this is
- 1:25:45Speaker 21: a radio show. Y'all got be spoiled. I only want
- 1:25:51Speaker 21: to hear you guys on the radio. I'm so happy
- 1:25:53Speaker 21: y'all got Steve Harvey Saturdays, I get the whole crew
- 1:25:57Speaker 21: an extra day, get it extra rank or extra strawberry letter.
- 1:26:02Speaker 21: I mean, it's absolutely wonderful. But my suggestion is, and
- 1:26:06Speaker 21: I know you guys have lives, and I just blame
- 1:26:09Speaker 21: you for making us like in love and want your entertainment,
- 1:26:14Speaker 21: But can y'all have a show with like less music
- 1:26:17Speaker 21: and more y'all? Can we get more crew and less tunes? Like,
- 1:26:20Speaker 21: I know it's a radio show, but I'm listening for y'all.
- 1:26:24Speaker 21: I'm listening for the crew.
- 1:26:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:26:26Speaker 21: I have a blessed day.
- 1:26:27Speaker 13: Bless week, bless mount, bless year, bless decade, blessed centry.
- 1:26:33Speaker 21: You guys are great and I absolutely love this show.
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm gonna keep it one hundred with y'all've been
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: pushing for that for years. They won't have I've been
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: pushing for.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: That for years. I try to go over each break,
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: you know, I try not to go to break on time.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: Start it.
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: I love music. You know, we got some real music
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: lovers on this show. But you knows.
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: But you know what I was gonna tell y'all something.
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: You know, Chris Spencer did a documentary so to speak
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: on the Kings, and he just bought the three of us, me,
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: Said and DL together to La and we shot it
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: at a club, just sitting around the table and it's
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: an hour something. It was just a great first of all,
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: just being with Said and DL and listening to the stories, uh,
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: because each one of us told stories that the other
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: one had forgotten, and we were talking about each other
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: and what we gave to the tour and how we
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: felt about each other individually, and the conversation turned to
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: just how we were, and Dal was jokingly saying how
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: happy he was when on the Chasha Club did that
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: very popular podcast with that other comedian, and how happy
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: he was to finally see somebody talking about say it
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: in a negative way. He such said a bottle of
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: champagne and said, Man, I'm so happy somebody was just
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: hating on you. It just it just warmed my heart.
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: We was laughing so hard because said is such a
- 1:28:33Speaker 7: good guy. Man say it, don't be in nothing, and so,
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: you know, to watch said get attacked on the internet,
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: it was it was alarming for us, you know, because
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: don't nobody mess with said So DL sent him a
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: bottle of champagne and called him up and said, man,
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: I'm so happy to see them dragging you cross the
- 1:28:51Speaker 7: colds on the internet. It's just done a lot for
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: my day. And I was just sitting there laughing with
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: him and everything. And then we were talking about the
- 1:28:59Speaker 7: value of DA and how he spoke for us on
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: the kings to it because Dal has the better vocabulary
- 1:29:07Speaker 7: and we would just let Die go out and talk
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: because Dal spoke, you know, really eloquently, so we didn't care.
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: And we talked about Bernie Man and how how much
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: fun we had watching him work every day. We called
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: him the human train wreck because we knew every night
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: he was gonna go off the rails. He was just
- 1:29:26Speaker 7: gonna go off the rails. He was gonna do something
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: we hadn't seen before. It was gonna be so far
- 1:29:31Speaker 7: to the left and ignorant, and we just sit there
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: and enjoy him backstage, and then said said, then d
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: L said, hey man, I've never seen anybody recover better
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: than you, and he was talking about me. He said,
- 1:29:50Speaker 7: said said, hey man, I've seen stuff happen to you
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: after the Kings and during the Kings that would have
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: broke the average person. He said, man, I've seen them
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: come for you to try to end you, and you
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: get back up time and time and time again.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: And Chris Spenser said, hey man, what do you attribute
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: that to? And Sad said, his daddy was a coal miner.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: And hearing that yesterday when I watched this thing that
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: Chrispinson sent me, it's what I'm talking about today. My
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: father was a coal miner. That's crazy, man, to say
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: that we are from McDowell County. That's the poorest county
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: in West Virginia. It's one of the poorest counties in America,
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: to tell you the truth, it's McDowell County. McDowell County
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: voted heavily for Barack Obama twice, and then they turned
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: because Trump made a promise to them to bring back
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: coal mining, and the poor people in McDowell County turned
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: for Donald Trump. They mad at him right now because
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: he didn't bring back coal mining, which wasn't gonna happen.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Coal mining is a dying industry. Is done differently now.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: And I was just thinking about it. Man, how grateful
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: I was to have my father coal miner. I'm the
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: son of a coal miner. Man.
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: That's a cool thing to say, because he taught me
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: the ability to get up when it go bad. Because
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: I watched him get up every day, climb down in
- 1:31:27Speaker 7: the hole three miles underground. We didn't know if we
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: was gonna see him again. And he came back out
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: that hole every day and went right back in that
- 1:31:35Speaker 7: hole every single day, like living in a graveyard three
- 1:31:39Speaker 7: miles down. And if my daddy could come back from that,
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: I can get over a little Internet mess I can
- 1:31:45Speaker 7: get over from anything. Thank you, Snick Hob. I appreciate you, boy,
- 1:31:49Speaker 7: I do. Hope you're proud of me. Hey, that's my
- 1:31:51Speaker 7: closing remarks today. Hope y'all had a good one. Talk
- 1:31:54Speaker 7: to God today. Absolutely love to hear from you here
