- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, want and on it. Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show man, Yeah, I do. Man.
- 2:14Speaker 1: God been good to me. Man, He's been so good
- 2:18Speaker 1: to me. Wow. You know why I say it like that.
- 2:24Speaker 1: What makes it amazing is because it's been in spite
- 2:27Speaker 1: of myself. I mean you know what I mean by that.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I mean I mean that he's been good to me
- 2:35Speaker 1: in spite of all the craziness I've done, all the
- 2:40Speaker 1: foolishness I've gotten myself involved with, and not only got
- 2:43Speaker 1: but knowingly got myself involved with, all of the stupid
- 2:49Speaker 1: decisions I've made. Put all that to the side, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: he's still been good to me, bring it all and
- 2:58Speaker 1: put it on the plate. And he's been good to me. Man.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That's amazing man. And I'm sure there's a lot of
- 3:04Speaker 1: people that can say the exact same thing. I mean,
- 3:07Speaker 1: come on, man, I got you, ain't famous, I got anybody,
- 3:10Speaker 1: got no microphone in your face, I got nobody, ain't
- 3:13Speaker 1: got no spotlight on you. I got nobody, ain't got
- 3:15Speaker 1: no came in your face. I got nobody problem. Ain't
- 3:17Speaker 1: your body blogging about you. But let me tell you so,
- 3:20Speaker 1: if you break it down and be real about it, Oh,
- 3:23Speaker 1: you haven't done something outside the box. You haven't done
- 3:26Speaker 1: something ladies included, you've done something out the box. You
- 3:29Speaker 1: woke up and went what did I do that for? Oh,
- 3:33Speaker 1: we've all done it. So when all that's said and done,
- 3:38Speaker 1: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:42Speaker 1: wants you the best for you, still considers you his child.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And and it's willing, it's willing man to show you
- 3:49Speaker 1: your future. He is willing to show you your life.
- 3:53Speaker 1: He is willing to let you take a peek at
- 3:56Speaker 1: the blueprint. Man. That's an amazing God right there. Because
- 4:00Speaker 1: I don't I know, I couldn't do it. I couldn't
- 4:03Speaker 1: do it. I'm glad it's him, you know. Today, man,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I want to encourage brothers out there. And when I
- 4:08Speaker 1: say brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's of the male species.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I don't care about your color. I really really don't.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I don't even have time for that in my day.
- 4:16Speaker 1: A matter a matter of fact. Sometimes when you get
- 4:19Speaker 1: to discussing races, I just get tired of it. Sometimes
- 4:21Speaker 1: I just wish, you know, some days I just want
- 4:24Speaker 1: to wake up, just do me. You know, I got
- 4:27Speaker 1: what what the skin tone is, I got that. But
- 4:30Speaker 1: I just want to wake up some days and just
- 4:32Speaker 1: going by my business and do me. I don't want
- 4:34Speaker 1: to have to deal with it. Sometimes I get tired
- 4:35Speaker 1: of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna make them go away.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But sometimes I get tired, so the damn talking to brothers,
- 4:41Speaker 1: all the brothers of the male species. I'm talking about
- 4:43Speaker 1: men today. Man, If if you ain't doing it all,
- 4:49Speaker 1: if you're feeling empty, man, start today completing your process
- 4:53Speaker 1: and your journey. And you know what I'm saying by that,
- 4:56Speaker 1: if there's a part of you just missing as a man,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and and now, man, I'm talking to you so you
- 5:03Speaker 1: know some ladies listening, but you know what I'm talking about.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It's it's some part of you that's missing as a man,
- 5:09Speaker 1: if you ain't really been in touch with your kids
- 5:12Speaker 1: like you supposed to now for whatever the reason is.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And please no, I do understand how sometimes women can
- 5:21Speaker 1: use children as pawns. It happens all the time. I've
- 5:25Speaker 1: been through it. I've been through it, man, I know
- 5:28Speaker 1: what it feels like, man to want to do something.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But because you ain't got this, or you ain't doing this,
- 5:34Speaker 1: then I ain't gonna let you have this. You gotta
- 5:36Speaker 1: fight through, fellas, you got to fight through. You got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to fulfill your end of the deal. And I got
- 5:45Speaker 1: how difficult they're making it. I got how Man, it's
- 5:48Speaker 1: gonna come with some drama, but you gotta fight through it.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Because man, we need fathers to be fathers. That's really
- 5:55Speaker 1: what we need. If you're a man out there and
- 5:58Speaker 1: you are a father of a child, we need you
- 6:00Speaker 1: do your job. We I'm talking about our community, our situation,
- 6:07Speaker 1: us as a people, all of us. We need you
- 6:11Speaker 1: to be a father. Period. Hey man, I ain't coming
- 6:16Speaker 1: down on you. I'm just your boy. I'm your man.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And I've been in the same predicament, in the same
- 6:22Speaker 1: hole myself, where I couldn't get to them, where they
- 6:26Speaker 1: were used as pawns, where they were told things about
- 6:29Speaker 1: me that wasn't even true. I've been through it. You
- 6:33Speaker 1: can't see them, you don't come on, okay, okay, I
- 6:35Speaker 1: got all that. You ain't sent this. You ain't okay, hey, hey,
- 6:38Speaker 1: got all that. If if you can call them sometimes,
- 6:43Speaker 1: tell them you're thinking about them, tell them you love them.
- 6:47Speaker 1: If you can get a letter to them, if you
- 6:49Speaker 1: can get a message to your children through one of
- 6:52Speaker 1: your relatives, start the process today. Be a father. It's
- 6:58Speaker 1: your job. Because you ignoring him, or you acting like
- 7:02Speaker 1: they ain't over there, or you don't back him out
- 7:05Speaker 1: of your mind because the situation got too difficult. I
- 7:08Speaker 1: got that, I got that. But you got to step
- 7:11Speaker 1: up and be fatherless. You got to write a letter.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You gotta send the money. If she talking about it.
- 7:16Speaker 1: If you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna
- 7:18Speaker 1: see him. Send what you got if she if taking
- 7:20Speaker 1: it over there's too much drama, Send it through a relative,
- 7:23Speaker 1: Give it to a mama, give it to her sister,
- 7:25Speaker 1: ask her to take it over there and do something
- 7:27Speaker 1: for the baby, because okay, okay, you can't deal with
- 7:30Speaker 1: the drama. I got that, and I know it's much
- 7:33Speaker 1: to pay when you had to deal with that, because
- 7:36Speaker 1: I clearly I know hell have no fury like a
- 7:38Speaker 1: woman scoring Please know. I know that. Please know. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: that's a real statement. That ain't no saying, Steve got
- 7:45Speaker 1: That's that's the truth. But do what you gotta do.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a
- 7:55Speaker 1: long way to your children. Just hey, look, because I've
- 7:59Speaker 1: made this apology before. Hey man, look, I'm sorry. I
- 8:04Speaker 1: wasn't there for you. I was out grinding and hustling
- 8:07Speaker 1: and I wasn't paying attention to you, and I should
- 8:10Speaker 1: have been. And I apologize now. I imagine, man, there's
- 8:13Speaker 1: days where you was telling people I was your father
- 8:16Speaker 1: up at the school and they wasn't believing you. I
- 8:18Speaker 1: apologize for sending you through that. But now, man, I
- 8:22Speaker 1: tell you what, I made some mistakes, and I got
- 8:25Speaker 1: it together. I want me and you to move forward
- 8:28Speaker 1: as father and son. I want me and you to
- 8:30Speaker 1: move forward as father and daughter. I want to be
- 8:33Speaker 1: in your life. I ain't got a lot, but guess
- 8:35Speaker 1: what I know a lot, Because if you're a man
- 8:38Speaker 1: and you a father, please know you know something that
- 8:40Speaker 1: child don't know. You have information, you have experience. That's
- 8:44Speaker 1: all they need. Sometimes they have somebody to talk to.
- 8:47Speaker 1: That daughter yours just needs to know from her daddy,
- 8:51Speaker 1: how should a man treat me? Dad? What should I
- 8:55Speaker 1: look for in a man? See, they'll take that information
- 8:58Speaker 1: from you because they know coming from the right place.
- 9:01Speaker 1: And then you know that your son needs you because
- 9:04Speaker 1: you know how difficult it is if you're trying to
- 9:07Speaker 1: be a man without your daddy. You already know how
- 9:10Speaker 1: funky that is right there. So come on, man and
- 9:14Speaker 1: match your mistakes and move forward. Call your kids, write
- 9:18Speaker 1: a letter, get a phone number on them, send a text,
- 9:21Speaker 1: drop a message, send a note up to the school.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Do something. Man. If those of us that are fathers
- 9:29Speaker 1: would just be fathers, I could shut the mentory and
- 9:33Speaker 1: camp down. Now. I will say I apologize because I
- 9:38Speaker 1: don't want you to think I'm coming down on you.
- 9:40Speaker 1: But I've been through this myself. I ain't really coming down.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm just reminding you this is our job. These are
- 9:46Speaker 1: our children, this is our responsibility. We are men. There
- 9:50Speaker 1: is no excuses you don't get you don't get. Cut
- 9:54Speaker 1: a break on that one. Sorry you're listening, ladies. Uh
- 10:04Speaker 1: I Normally I would say ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 10:07Speaker 1: but not today. Ladies. Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Fellas we own. Boys and girls. Go to your wound
- 10:20Speaker 1: this boss to get ignit today. It's about to be
- 10:22Speaker 1: one of them. Oh the day are you gonna embarrass me? Steve?
- 10:29Speaker 1: You know what, Sherlly I think I am today. Today
- 10:31Speaker 1: is gonna be the day that I dedicate almost everything
- 10:34Speaker 1: I say to embarrassing Sherley. We're gonna do ask the
- 10:38Speaker 1: CEO today, okay, and will also ask motivational questions from
- 10:44Speaker 1: the crew. That's the only time I try to be serious, okay.
- 10:48Speaker 1: But other than that, though, let it rain, I'm gonna
- 10:53Speaker 1: be embarrassing today. As much as Tommy is stupid, I
- 10:57Speaker 1: ain't mad. That's a high level. I'm talking about the
- 11:02Speaker 1: degree I may quit today. Man, it might be a yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: I don't know. We can take all that in the
- 11:10Speaker 1: emergency room. They call it cold ray. Let's go there,
- 11:14Speaker 1: Let's go. I will be answering any questions today, any
- 11:20Speaker 1: questions at all. Okay, We are going to hell. You
- 11:24Speaker 1: can ask me a serious question. You can ask me
- 11:26Speaker 1: an opinion opinionated question. All things are open and fair
- 11:32Speaker 1: game today. All right, stupid, too cool, let's go Tommy,
- 11:36Speaker 1: all your questions is most okay? Okay, and I and
- 11:40Speaker 1: I embraced that. That's the problem. All right, y'all want
- 11:44Speaker 1: to start it? Y'all scared? What's happening? We jumping off
- 11:46Speaker 1: off the time? Yeah, I didn't do it right here,
- 11:50Speaker 1: so well you know, and you know it ain't no
- 11:53Speaker 1: time like right now? Okay, huh. When I started off
- 11:57Speaker 1: the it's Tommy for show ugly, they just start damn
- 12:01Speaker 1: show that. It really ain't even I don't know why
- 12:08Speaker 1: he fights it because he ugly for real and this
- 12:13Speaker 1: all week though, No, but that's not gonna be ugly
- 12:16Speaker 1: all week, Tommy, You're not ugly. Thank you. You're not
- 12:20Speaker 1: say talking She always trying to take up self righteous, right, Jilly?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Don't thank you Sean either. That's a little false. Well now, Steve,
- 12:29Speaker 1: wait a minute, I can speak for myself here. Well,
- 12:32Speaker 1: he ain't got to be really funny looking is still
- 12:34Speaker 1: at the same spot. Okay, I'll go. We'll go with
- 12:37Speaker 1: funny looking strange. Okay, Tommy, let's take ugly off the table. Better.
- 12:44Speaker 1: He's married. He's having strange looking but they ain't got
- 12:47Speaker 1: nothing to do with a lot of strange looking people married. Well,
- 12:51Speaker 1: he had to find someone to marry him, his wife.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It's what he needs to be. Grateful funk right, there's
- 13:00Speaker 1: why he needs to be. I need to be. Especially
- 13:05Speaker 1: that girl you wouldn't got. I don't know what she
- 13:07Speaker 1: was thinking. Surely she could have done better, man, Yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 1: that's hell. Yeah, Steve, I told you about crushing people.
- 13:19Speaker 1: What I tell y'all was gonna be to day show.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Come on, I tell y'all was going to embarrass you
- 13:23Speaker 1: to Yeah. Yeah, and you're doing at the gate. Yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 1: we'll be back with motif is he ugly? Steve tell
- 13:31Speaker 1: me that when we come back, I'll tell you that
- 13:34Speaker 1: I take Come on here and ask me all right,
- 13:39Speaker 1: more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 13:48Speaker 1: Americans may not take all their vacation days. Everybody on
- 13:53Speaker 1: this show can can agree to that, except for one person.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I say, I'm not talking about you this time. Okay,
- 14:00Speaker 1: oh no, yeah, yeah, you ain't doing that. Let me
- 14:10Speaker 1: hear it. A week, vacation days, sick days, whatever he
- 14:15Speaker 1: could take off, he does it? Is he sick on
- 14:17Speaker 1: the sick days? Uh uh? This golf week? Yeah, no,
- 14:22Speaker 1: we're talking about you. Americans may not take all their
- 14:26Speaker 1: vacation days, but that does not mean that we don't
- 14:29Speaker 1: spend a lot of time thinking about those vacation days.
- 14:33Speaker 1: New research revealed that Americans spend about two hundred and
- 14:36Speaker 1: eighty four days of their life dreaming about being on vacation,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and we spend more than that's a lot of time.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Then we spend more than one hundred and thirteen hours
- 14:46Speaker 1: every year thinking about being on a beach somewhere. And
- 14:50Speaker 1: your vacation picks on social media. People don't like those.
- 14:54Speaker 1: They do not stop the days up. Yes, yes, yes,
- 14:58Speaker 1: they make people jealous. They bring out that one pictures
- 15:01Speaker 1: of that food. The study found that every day the
- 15:05Speaker 1: average person sees vacation pictures on social media. That makes
- 15:09Speaker 1: them mad. Okay, that's probably why thirty yeah, I knows,
- 15:16Speaker 1: uh huh, nobody cares. That's probably why thirty six percent
- 15:19Speaker 1: of Americans admit they put those vacation picks on social
- 15:22Speaker 1: media to show people just how great their lives are.
- 15:27Speaker 1: So Steve, you and your wife Marjorie take wonderful vacation.
- 15:31Speaker 1: And we know you guys ball till you fall when
- 15:34Speaker 1: you go on vacation. But we what we want to
- 15:35Speaker 1: know is how do you vacation on a budget? Before
- 15:38Speaker 1: you got to where you are? Now? How did you
- 15:40Speaker 1: do well? I just need to know, you know how
- 15:42Speaker 1: much we're talking about if you tell me what the
- 15:45Speaker 1: budget is? Ok yeah, are things I can recommend. Let's
- 15:49Speaker 1: do two thousand dollars. Two thousand dollars for a family
- 15:52Speaker 1: of four. Four Okay, bad chucky cheese. Yeah, yeah, well
- 16:07Speaker 1: we ain't going now what do you see like that? Okay,
- 16:10Speaker 1: all right here we go. Let me change. Yeah, we're
- 16:12Speaker 1: gonna have to drive somewhere. We have to make the
- 16:15Speaker 1: gas budget be the how much Okay, let me how
- 16:19Speaker 1: much it costs Philip at the average tank right now?
- 16:25Speaker 1: So we need we need to stay one gas tank
- 16:29Speaker 1: going and one gas tan't coming. We're talking about one
- 16:32Speaker 1: hundred and twenty dollars out the budget. You know, man,
- 16:35Speaker 1: we gotta stay within one tank. So we're talking about
- 16:39Speaker 1: it's got to be within three hundred miles. Now, if
- 16:43Speaker 1: we're gonna stay overnight, we gotta get in economically feasible accommodation. Okay,
- 16:52Speaker 1: these are stuff like comfort In sweets that reason you
- 16:56Speaker 1: I would recommend comfort In because they had a free breakfast.
- 17:00Speaker 1: See that's saved money now, you know. And they got
- 17:03Speaker 1: free Wi Fi. So you gotta gotta take this consideration.
- 17:06Speaker 1: And if you stay at comfany and you get points,
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm just working with this two thousand. So everybody's room
- 17:11Speaker 1: at fifty dollars a night, would you say that's fast sixty?
- 17:14Speaker 1: So you need just two rooms, one for the kids,
- 17:17Speaker 1: you and your wife and one for the kids with
- 17:19Speaker 1: a connected dough and lead a damn dough. Yeah, so
- 17:23Speaker 1: they don't burn that damn hotel down. And then you
- 17:26Speaker 1: got other issues. So we got two rooms that let's
- 17:31Speaker 1: say seventy dollars five dollars a night. That's one hundred
- 17:34Speaker 1: and fifty two nights. We're looking at three hundred dollars
- 17:37Speaker 1: in rooms. How many nights we're gonna do two nights
- 17:39Speaker 1: on Well, I'm trying to I'm trying to get it together. First,
- 17:43Speaker 1: we got to stay somewhere. We're gonna do three fifty
- 17:45Speaker 1: four rooms, and we got one hundred and twenty on
- 17:48Speaker 1: gas were about five fifty h fifty something like that. Height.
- 17:52Speaker 1: All right, now we got let's just say we got
- 17:56Speaker 1: fifteen hundred left. Okay, okay, that's the amount of money
- 18:01Speaker 1: did we eat? We should make some sandwich, Yeah, a
- 18:08Speaker 1: pack of cooler full of sandwich because you're driving. But
- 18:12Speaker 1: make sandwiches that stick. Peanut butter and jelly sam from
- 18:16Speaker 1: being a whole lot of ham. Now peanut butter and
- 18:21Speaker 1: jealous sandwiches, permental spread sandwich. Nobody to give damn what.
- 18:27Speaker 1: You don't want this all we got. You want to
- 18:31Speaker 1: eat hook skins and water. You gotta get something in
- 18:38Speaker 1: you that swear, punch skins and water. I'm familiar with
- 18:44Speaker 1: all this. Just what we got hot blood press. By
- 18:47Speaker 1: the time we take bagging and poor skins and drank
- 18:49Speaker 1: a bottle of water, you ain't even gonna know your
- 18:51Speaker 1: hard damn that. But at least they quick crying. All
- 18:59Speaker 1: right now, we got us a little something to eat,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and kids have stopped up the hospital on the We
- 19:13Speaker 1: gotta have some kind of activities now, got We're going
- 19:15Speaker 1: to six Flags with a day pass for everybody, Okay,
- 19:20Speaker 1: or we're going to the zoo where you can really
- 19:23Speaker 1: entertain kids and keep it on the budget. All. We're
- 19:29Speaker 1: going to a state park. Okay, nice, pull up at
- 19:33Speaker 1: it where we can barbecue out there and just let
- 19:35Speaker 1: the kids run till they drop in an open field
- 19:41Speaker 1: and you gotta put your grill. What you only gonna
- 19:43Speaker 1: stay there and watch well on the other side away
- 19:45Speaker 1: from the car. Then you run your kids to the
- 19:48Speaker 1: car to get stuff that helps zap the energy out
- 19:52Speaker 1: of their hand and it give them something to do.
- 19:55Speaker 1: You can see the car from your barbecue grill, but
- 19:58Speaker 1: it were across the feet. S dance back and forth
- 20:01Speaker 1: across that field by six trips, and every time you
- 20:05Speaker 1: send them say hell for this dog, I love you,
- 20:14Speaker 1: Thank you having fun because you're running in that field.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Third trip back, they answered walking. I say, he is
- 20:25Speaker 1: walking through pushing responsibility. One we gotta go. Thank you though.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Listen coming up next it is ten miles and the
- 20:36Speaker 1: nephew tell me with run that prank back right after this.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You're listening show, I got to tell you not this
- 20:48Speaker 1: your man, Steve, But look, Hill ain't nothing like some
- 20:51Speaker 1: good Bobbie Q I'm talking about. I personally do not
- 20:55Speaker 1: eat pork, but Bobby Q is not included to me
- 20:59Speaker 1: under the pork cat of gory, so you can have
- 21:01Speaker 1: a real being. Must baby back all full blown? Got you?
- 21:05Speaker 1: I don't really care for beef friends, tell you the
- 21:09Speaker 1: truth just ain't the same, not to me, white bread
- 21:13Speaker 1: and barbe q sauce and some red kool Lord Hew, messy,

- 22:07Speaker 1: you been noticing anything different about Malik? Um? Like concerning
- 22:13Speaker 1: hygiene at all? Hygiene No, not that I can be called.
- 22:17Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Okay? How old is Malik?
- 22:20Speaker 1: He's too. Okay, Well, we soon have come across a
- 22:24Speaker 1: little glitch here that we're going to try to take
- 22:26Speaker 1: care of here at the at the daycare. Actually my
- 22:29Speaker 1: wife didn't. I told her I would make the phone
- 22:31Speaker 1: call and leave her out of it. I know you
- 22:33Speaker 1: see her every day one. Yeah, but what glitch are
- 22:36Speaker 1: you talking about? What? What is this glitch? Im? Sorry, glitch?
- 22:39Speaker 1: What is this glitch that you want to talk about?
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm confused? Okay, Well, actually what we're having is it
- 22:44Speaker 1: seemed like every day here lately for the last two months,
- 22:49Speaker 1: Malik has been you know, very musty. You know, he
- 22:53Speaker 1: hasn't been really sweaty, but just real musty. Okay, you
- 22:57Speaker 1: clearly have the run show because I give my son
- 22:59Speaker 1: a bath every night, and most morning is before he
- 23:02Speaker 1: leaves to school, I give him another bath again. So yeah,
- 23:04Speaker 1: I'm pretty positive you have the wrong child. No, man,
- 23:07Speaker 1: your son is Malik, right, and he's two years old.
- 23:10Speaker 1: You guys have been here with us right close to
- 23:12Speaker 1: a year now, correct, Yes, and okay, and he's a
- 23:16Speaker 1: cute little kid with the curly hair. I know exactly
- 23:19Speaker 1: which one is. So what I'm what I'm saying to
- 23:21Speaker 1: you is that we are having problems. He's just he's
- 23:25Speaker 1: just reeking. You know, he's real musty. Okay, you know what,
- 23:28Speaker 1: my son does not reek. I don't know what child
- 23:30Speaker 1: you're talking about, but you're not talking about my child.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I just told you and make sure that he gets
- 23:34Speaker 1: a bath every night. So that's not my child. My
- 23:36Speaker 1: child is very clean. Okay, Well, what hang on, Vanessa.
- 23:39Speaker 1: What I'm trying to get you to understand is I'm
- 23:41Speaker 1: trying to This is why my wife didn't want to call. Okay,
- 23:44Speaker 1: and I'm glad I'm actually the one that made the call.
- 23:46Speaker 1: What we need to do. This is what I'm gonna do.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm just gotta child a little experiment for the next
- 23:51Speaker 1: month or so. Experiment. I'm sorry, Well, what do you
- 23:54Speaker 1: mean experiment? What kind of experiment? Well, what I'm gonna
- 23:57Speaker 1: do is I'm gonna put some male deodorant on him
- 24:00Speaker 1: for the next well just for the next month, and
- 24:02Speaker 1: we'll see how it plays out. No, no, no, you're
- 24:04Speaker 1: not You're not gonna put anything on my child. That's
- 24:06Speaker 1: not gonna happen. Okay. Well, man, I'm trying to I'm
- 24:08Speaker 1: trying to fix the problem here. I just wanted to
- 24:10Speaker 1: call it. It It doesn't have a problem. I already told
- 24:12Speaker 1: you that my son is clean. You're not gonna put
- 24:15Speaker 1: any comment on him, and if you do, it's going
- 24:17Speaker 1: to be a problem. Do you understand me? Okay, man,
- 24:19Speaker 1: I'm not trying to have an argument with you. What
- 24:22Speaker 1: I want you to know is I'm not trying to
- 24:24Speaker 1: argument either. But you're trying to you talking about putting you.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna child you. You can't do that. I'm not
- 24:29Speaker 1: gonna have to happen in Please don't make me have
- 24:31Speaker 1: to come that to that school for you and your wife. Okay, man, listen,
- 24:35Speaker 1: we're gonna have to do something about your child. Your
- 24:37Speaker 1: child is musty, okay, And you're sitting here getting an
- 24:40Speaker 1: attitude with me, and I'm trying to let you know
- 24:42Speaker 1: your child is much nonsense. Maybe you're the one that's musty.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Maybe you and your wife or musty. My child is
- 24:47Speaker 1: not musty. I keep telling you that I bathed him
- 24:49Speaker 1: every night. Which part of that? Don't you understand? I
- 24:52Speaker 1: understand everything that you're saying. Maybe it's the soap, maybe
- 24:55Speaker 1: something that is not taking effect. I'm not sure. Okay,
- 24:58Speaker 1: Maybe he doesn't smell the I don't know what child?
- 25:03Speaker 1: You are not using the older on my child? Do
- 25:05Speaker 1: I need to come down there for you with the
- 25:07Speaker 1: cop and suit your entire establishment. You don't want that
- 25:10Speaker 1: to happen staying away from my child? Are you crazy?
- 25:13Speaker 1: You know? Matter of fact? Gres my son man? Your
- 25:15Speaker 1: son is fine. Your son is in there with the
- 25:16Speaker 1: rest of the kids. They're playing. You know, today is
- 25:18Speaker 1: the first day I sprayed a little bit of melody
- 25:20Speaker 1: odor and one how that works? You crazy? Up? Cheryl?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Can you come up for me for a couple of minutes.

- 25:34Speaker 1: I just sprayed a little bit of the older and
- 25:35Speaker 1: on him, just to see if we can get the
- 25:37Speaker 1: commission to do that. And I keep telling you, I said,
- 25:40Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with my child, and you took it
- 25:42Speaker 1: up on your choc to go and spray my child
- 25:44Speaker 1: and you weren't about to do you. I'm right now, Okay, Well,
- 25:48Speaker 1: what are you coming here for? The boy is you're
- 25:51Speaker 1: the son of the leak? Is fine? Why are you
- 25:53Speaker 1: coming here? You know he's cradling that fine? If you've
- 25:55Speaker 1: going around spray? How don't you spray? Because clearly, y'all
- 26:00Speaker 1: hellen and riaking and funky as hell. I didn't give
- 26:02Speaker 1: you no child. I'm gonna I promise you. I promise you.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm su ah, y'all because you were okay. Let me
- 26:11Speaker 1: say this, man, your son is Musty. He's been king

- 26:19Speaker 1: try to hear you because you're you're you're clearly crazy.
- 26:22Speaker 1: How are you going around to playing people's kids? Hello?
- 26:25Speaker 1: What's my child? Did you smell the other kids? You
- 26:27Speaker 1: know what? I'm about to get in my car coming
- 26:29Speaker 1: on there for you because you must be crazy? Hello? Hello, Hello?
- 26:37Speaker 1: Why did you hang up on me? I'm trying to
- 26:39Speaker 1: fix the problem. Man. I told you that I'm coming
- 26:43Speaker 1: down there. I'll be there in ten minutes once. But
- 26:46Speaker 1: I needed to let you know one more thing that's
- 26:48Speaker 1: going on here. What did you possibly need to let
- 26:50Speaker 1: me know? Because I'm on my waist to you right now.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Where are you? Now? Are you in your car? Where
- 26:55Speaker 1: are you? I am heading to my car, not to
- 26:57Speaker 1: get in my car to come down definitely, because you
- 26:59Speaker 1: must be crazy. He sprained my child. Before you get
- 27:02Speaker 1: to your car. I need I need to tell you
- 27:03Speaker 1: one more thing about your side. Okay, please, you possibly
- 27:07Speaker 1: have to tell me. I want to tell you. This
- 27:10Speaker 1: is Listen to me. This is Nephew Tommy, the Steve
- 27:13Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Your girlfriend Sheryl got me to play
- 27:17Speaker 1: FA call you master. I stand here in the bark
- 27:27Speaker 1: a lot and I've been coming out. I never exactly
- 27:31Speaker 1: what I was about. I'm gonna get her. I forget
- 27:34Speaker 1: her because I'm nigga. I know my child and must set.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I know my child is clean and he doesn't smell.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I amna get her. I just talked to right here
- 27:45Speaker 1: in a cub because you gotta call her right now.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I said, okay, just chill out, I will call her.

- 27:59Speaker 1: Milk is nice and clean and smelling right, So I
- 28:02Speaker 1: don't know what the hell you were talking about. I
- 28:04Speaker 1: was like, my chowdhout the wrong child. You are about
- 28:06Speaker 1: to get it. You don't even know. Oh man, that's Vanessa.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You gotta tell me one more thing. But what's the
- 28:13Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the lake,
- 28:18Speaker 1: The one and only Steve Harting and show. All right,
- 28:22Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 28:25Speaker 1: Show right after. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:32Speaker 1: All right, Steve, So here's the story. Check this out.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Men who can do forty push ups are far less
- 28:39Speaker 1: likely to develop heart disease. Okay, it turns out that
- 28:42Speaker 1: that's forty push ups a day, not forty push ups.
- 28:45Speaker 1: You know, a lifetime total of forty push ups. Let's
- 28:49Speaker 1: be clear. A day. Yeah, forty a day, forty do that.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I don't think that's so bad, thoughts a day? Yeah,
- 28:58Speaker 1: but it ain't. No, not so nearly half of you.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I thought they meant forty at one time because my
- 29:05Speaker 1: badies jumped in the floor because I heard that the
- 29:07Speaker 1: other day and my buddy jumped in the floor and
- 29:09Speaker 1: found out he was gonna have a heart attack. I'm
- 29:12Speaker 1: trying to do. Yeah, how about twenty in the morning
- 29:14Speaker 1: and twenty at night. That's easy? Yeah that season? Okay,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I can push ups? Yesh easy? Okay, well cool, Then
- 29:23Speaker 1: I'm at one hundred a day, big dog. I just thought,
- 29:25Speaker 1: but I just thought I can do it. It took
- 29:29Speaker 1: me a day to get that hunted in. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 1: but not at once. I could do four twenty five clips.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You know, what's that? Like? Twenty five at each four
- 29:44Speaker 1: To be realistically, I can do about thirty push ups,
- 29:48Speaker 1: like right now, NonStop. We'll go ahead, Yeah, let's drop
- 29:53Speaker 1: and give me Yet he got strong up about it?
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah he does. You're right, you're strong. I can get
- 29:59Speaker 1: that here. You know I'm not right around eighteen though, yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 1: right around eighteen, I crush. Yeah. Yeah, you start thinking
- 30:06Speaker 1: different than ain't teen eight Just different things about your
- 30:12Speaker 1: life stuff. You know, should I have finished school? You
- 30:18Speaker 1: go that deep with it? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. I
- 30:20Speaker 1: have flashbacks, you know how you know how machines say
- 30:24Speaker 1: if you feel fat or dizzey stop. Immediately my mind
- 30:29Speaker 1: started playing tricks on me. I started remember the time
- 30:32Speaker 1: I was drowning it your life flashes before, yeah, all
- 30:36Speaker 1: stuff like that. I remember that time laying in the street,
- 30:39Speaker 1: had got hit by that car. You know, how were
- 30:42Speaker 1: you then about fifteen when I got you about the car.
- 30:46Speaker 1: When you do twenty push up, your mind takes you
- 30:49Speaker 1: back to when you were yeah yeah yeah, and then
- 30:51Speaker 1: when you do, you get your twenty five. You know,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I saw my daddy beating me down in the basement
- 30:56Speaker 1: bout that furnace, and I took off running and tried
- 31:00Speaker 1: to run through the furnace. It'd be a lot of
- 31:05Speaker 1: stuff happening, man, it'd be on your mind to be stuff. Well,
- 31:09Speaker 1: whatever your nephew said, he can do about twenty five
- 31:11Speaker 1: a day. Yeah, well, let's throughout the whole day. Night.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I take a long time. But how many what's the
- 31:20Speaker 1: match you can do at one time? About twenty five
- 31:24Speaker 1: me realistically four times a day. But your your arms
- 31:31Speaker 1: and your tribes and bodies. Well, see, my push up
- 31:34Speaker 1: is different. I can't put my chee and chests on
- 31:38Speaker 1: the floor because of the length of my arms. And
- 31:42Speaker 1: Lee Haney told me that. He said, Steve, your arms
- 31:45Speaker 1: are so long. He said, for you to go all
- 31:47Speaker 1: the way down chest to the floor like military people
- 31:51Speaker 1: put chin on the floor. He said, you're pushing your
- 31:54Speaker 1: sockets too far forward. He said, it's not good for you.
- 31:59Speaker 1: He said, just you to push up to your arms
- 32:01Speaker 1: is in the ale shape. Once you get him in
- 32:04Speaker 1: that perpendicular al shape, he said, you can going back up.
- 32:07Speaker 1: The arms are too long for that, he said, a
- 32:09Speaker 1: little shorter arm people can do that. So what are
- 32:12Speaker 1: you saying about. That's what he's saying right there at
- 32:15Speaker 1: the fluff. That's what he's saying. A little short evenings
- 32:19Speaker 1: up and oh I'm doing Oh no, his is good.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Mine mine look as Dean. My push up wouldn't look
- 32:27Speaker 1: as deep as Tommy. It's what I'm saying. Time to
- 32:29Speaker 1: go all way to the flo. I go to the floor.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna do six of these things and need the operation. Okay, okay,
- 32:38Speaker 1: all right. How many crunches can you do? Though? My
- 32:42Speaker 1: arm do a lot of crunches, but I ain't done nothing.
- 32:44Speaker 1: I don't know when my core pretty good though. I
- 32:49Speaker 1: do planks and leg lifts and stuff like that instead
- 32:51Speaker 1: of doing crunches, you know, bend and trying to stress
- 32:55Speaker 1: you lower back out. I found a lot of alternative
- 32:58Speaker 1: ways to do extracide. I've gotten older that don't that
- 33:01Speaker 1: don't tear your body up like for me, lunges make
- 33:05Speaker 1: no sense. Oh I hate. Reverse lunges are a lot
- 33:09Speaker 1: better for me than straightforward lunges. I don't reverse lunges.
- 33:18Speaker 1: This reminds me, though, when you guys were talking about
- 33:21Speaker 1: sit ups and everything about remember Carlo the shirts offt
- 33:23Speaker 1: tour yeah, I know that was so. I was so
- 33:29Speaker 1: for a month. Yeah. Yeah. For those of you who
- 33:32Speaker 1: don't know, yeah, y'all were trying. Yeah. Last time, Steve
- 33:36Speaker 1: issued a challenge to the to all the guys that
- 33:39Speaker 1: work on the show, you know, be they off the show,
- 33:42Speaker 1: behind the scenes or whatever, to get in shape by
- 33:45Speaker 1: a certain time. And you were you were doing a
- 33:47Speaker 1: calendar or something. Yeah, the pictures are still down. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 1: pictures are still there. Yeah. And that was really cool though,
- 33:54Speaker 1: you guys. You guys looked great and you worked really hard.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Huh what I do? Come on? Took that picture with
- 34:04Speaker 1: that towel over. He was playing simply beautiful with the background.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I should know if you don't floor, what about Boom though?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Sexy pictures? Boom climbed up on that line at my house,
- 34:24Speaker 1: and boy women was righting in. I won't him. I
- 34:29Speaker 1: won't him. Oh I want I want that big man
- 34:33Speaker 1: up on that line. Come on over here. I got
- 34:37Speaker 1: a line for you. That was fun. That was a
- 34:42Speaker 1: lot of fun. I was really proud of you guys.
- 34:44Speaker 1: We were proud of you guys. Yeah, we've been back
- 34:47Speaker 1: there yet. Okay, made you want to get in shape, though, Steve?
- 34:52Speaker 1: What though thought I was gonna die. Anytime I feel
- 34:59Speaker 1: like I might dabble, I get you to jail right
- 35:03Speaker 1: away to try to divert it. Huh No, you know,
- 35:07Speaker 1: I don't know. You know, I don't know what was
- 35:08Speaker 1: happening right there. We'll come right back with more of

- 43:19Speaker 1: after today's at Crazy Strawberry letter, we got another one. Yes,
- 43:22Speaker 1: but first the nephew's untapped with the prank phone call
- 43:25Speaker 1: for today. Nephew, what you got? So? I think it's
- 43:28Speaker 1: time that we did a little praise dancing. I think
- 43:30Speaker 1: it's time to do some praise. Yeah, you've seen him before.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, huh. Okay, Hello, this is the day that
- 43:40Speaker 1: the Lord is mate, let us rejoice and be glad
- 43:42Speaker 1: in it. How you doing? I'm looking for u. S Tia.
- 43:46Speaker 1: This is Sitana so Talia. This is Brother full of
- 43:48Speaker 1: from the church. How are you? Oh, I'm brother phone,
- 43:51Speaker 1: How are you? I'm good? I'm good. Um. We wanted
- 43:55Speaker 1: to give you a call about the about the praise
- 43:57Speaker 1: dancing that's at the church. First of all, I wanted
- 43:59Speaker 1: to really show you how much Uh, you're doing a
- 44:01Speaker 1: great job over there with the praise dances and you
- 44:03Speaker 1: you definitely do a great job on uh on on
- 44:06Speaker 1: on every third Sunday that you guys actually perform. Everybody
- 44:09Speaker 1: seemed to really like it. Well, thank you, thank you.
- 44:11Speaker 1: What can I do for you today? There is a
- 44:14Speaker 1: bit of a situation with um. You know, it's been
- 44:16Speaker 1: brought to our attention. We actually had a small gathering,
- 44:19Speaker 1: a little meeting about it and wanted to I've been
- 44:21Speaker 1: elected to actually give you a fall and who is
- 44:24Speaker 1: this keeping? I'm sorry? Who we again? Brother full of
- 44:28Speaker 1: uh huh and and and who had a meeting uh
- 44:31Speaker 1: some of the brothers at the church and uh path
- 44:34Speaker 1: to actually sat in for a moment on it. And
- 44:37Speaker 1: I was actually elected to actually just give you a call.
- 44:39Speaker 1: That nothing that I don't think we can't get uh
- 44:42Speaker 1: rectified and you know, move on slowly as we normally do.
- 44:46Speaker 1: But I just think it's we wanted to reach out
- 44:48Speaker 1: to you and kind of make you aware of it.
- 44:50Speaker 1: If it's if you don't mind, okay, um, and what
- 44:54Speaker 1: things are those? Well? Since since a Tania has any
- 44:58Speaker 1: of the praise dann before they became praise dancers, was
- 45:04Speaker 1: was was any of them strippers? I beg your partners,
- 45:09Speaker 1: Was any of the praise dancers that at the church
- 45:12Speaker 1: that you have on the praise team right now with
- 45:16Speaker 1: any of them strippers in the past. I'm sorry, sir,
- 45:18Speaker 1: I don't I don't really know who you are, um,
- 45:21Speaker 1: and I don't really understand this line of question. Like
- 45:23Speaker 1: I said, I'm brother Fuller, I don't think we've met.
- 45:26Speaker 1: But uh, like I said, I've been elected to give
- 45:28Speaker 1: you a call, not now. It seems like what happened
- 45:31Speaker 1: is this past week when you all actually danced, it
- 45:36Speaker 1: seemed like a couple of the girls was actually jar
- 45:39Speaker 1: raiding during the praise routine. Hey what jar raiding? Brother Fuller.
- 45:44Speaker 1: I don't know who you are, and I don't know
- 45:46Speaker 1: what you saw. None of my girls with you rating.
- 45:49Speaker 1: They were dancing for the Lord. And I think if
- 45:52Speaker 1: you look through your lord's ass perhaps you would see
- 45:55Speaker 1: them better instead of maybe you were looking through the
- 45:56Speaker 1: jar raiding as No. So of these girls, A couple
- 46:01Speaker 1: of the girl we can point them out. A couple
- 46:02Speaker 1: of them have u stript girl tendencies of it. Then,
- 46:06Speaker 1: because some of them has been girls tendencies, you know
- 46:10Speaker 1: what Sir, I think we need to complete this call. Prats.
- 46:14Speaker 1: I need to call Bishop to speak to him myself,
- 46:16Speaker 1: because you know, I don't know what you do all days,
- 46:18Speaker 1: but I have a real job and I'm sitting here
- 46:20Speaker 1: holding a conversation in my office about gy rating strippers
- 46:23Speaker 1: in the church. Are you kidding me? Lam? Listen? Listen.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Now here's a couple other things that they're talking about.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Some of the girls feet a real ass you when
- 46:32Speaker 1: you all a performing and they want to see it,
- 46:34Speaker 1: maybe you can, you can, I don't know. Maybe I
- 46:37Speaker 1: don't know if y'all need to grip or whatever that
- 46:39Speaker 1: y'all don't. Y'all don't put lotion on. We're not sure
- 46:41Speaker 1: what that is. As well as the totally alpile. Everybody
- 46:46Speaker 1: has three four, five different designs and everything. Is it?
- 46:49Speaker 1: Any way, y'all can be in unison with you're totally upils.
- 46:53Speaker 1: But the most important thing ill the jy rating doing
- 46:56Speaker 1: the dance routine. I don't know what your fee look like.
- 46:59Speaker 1: I don't need you calling me talking to me about
- 47:01Speaker 1: my girls their feet, their nail polish. Perhaps something should
- 47:04Speaker 1: be on Jesus instead of on them? How about that?
- 47:08Speaker 1: Oh God man? For my mind. I don't have time.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I don't have time. I don't want mama and to
- 47:13Speaker 1: be on Jesus when somebody's shaking them. But at the church,
- 47:16Speaker 1: that's the problem. I know what. Look, I'm at work now,
- 47:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to keep a work tone. You don't make
- 47:22Speaker 1: me curse up the here. Now, let me tell you something.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Don't call me anymore. I will deal with pastor. If
- 47:26Speaker 1: he has something to say with me, he can say
- 47:28Speaker 1: it to me personally. But I'm done with this conversation.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Are you gonna deal with the JI rating? Is what
- 47:33Speaker 1: we want to know? Maybe you know what. It just
- 47:36Speaker 1: hit me. Maybe you're one of the ones that's doing
- 47:38Speaker 1: the GI rate. Look, let me tell you something. My
- 47:40Speaker 1: girls ain't doing no damn JI rating, and neither am I.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Now I am done with this conversation. Do you understand?
- 47:45Speaker 1: But listen, I'm done all you're done with the ratings.
- 47:49Speaker 1: We want to stop so we can We can't praise
- 47:51Speaker 1: the Lord if the boot isn't shake you know what, chart, Look,
- 47:56Speaker 1: I gotta go to work. I gotta go now again.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I don't know what your issue. It sounds to me
- 48:00Speaker 1: like you have an issue which I reading booties. And
- 48:03Speaker 1: I heard so much gy reading booties in one conversation
- 48:05Speaker 1: in my entire life. Now my mind is set on Jesus.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I don't know what your mind is set on. What's
- 48:10Speaker 1: to tell you? Before you was a praise then a
- 48:13Speaker 1: ministry over the ministry? Did you ll use to strip? YEA,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I couldn't do no stripping? Now did your wife do
- 48:19Speaker 1: any stripping? Did you? I'm gonna do any striping? What mean?
- 48:23Speaker 1: You heard what I said you? How do you like doing?
- 48:25Speaker 1: Somebody call you an act? You if your mamma get
- 48:27Speaker 1: some stripping? How do you like that? I'm saying? You
- 48:29Speaker 1: know what I want to know? When is the next rehearsal.
- 48:32Speaker 1: That's the way I can come and pick out of
- 48:33Speaker 1: who it is that's doing this. Well, you don't have
- 48:35Speaker 1: you don't have any business at my rehearsal. I don't
- 48:37Speaker 1: want to see you at my rehearsal. I don't want
- 48:39Speaker 1: to I don't want to see any part for you
- 48:41Speaker 1: in my rears if I see you near one of
- 48:42Speaker 1: my girls. That's why I'm coming after you myself. Do
- 48:44Speaker 1: you understand me? You need to find out who's doing
- 48:46Speaker 1: that joy damn thing. You need to stay your budd
- 48:49Speaker 1: in y'all high and I'm glad y'all ain't then and
- 48:52Speaker 1: when the when the when the plate is being played,
- 48:54Speaker 1: because they ain't not telling her you act with them?
- 48:56Speaker 1: One is coming through it. You know what. That's it.
- 48:58Speaker 1: That's it. You call me disrespect to me. I'm at what.
- 49:01Speaker 1: They can't even have this more. You know what, don't
- 49:03Speaker 1: call me no more. Don't look at my girls no more. Man,
- 49:05Speaker 1: Come to the church and see what I got for you.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I want to know, is you're gonna stop the job rating?
- 49:10Speaker 1: What is doing? Who they you're talking to like that?
- 49:15Speaker 1: You're supposed to be a minute? You say, yeah, let's
- 49:18Speaker 1: have done listening to tell you now I'm getting ready
- 49:21Speaker 1: to job. Well, I got one more thing to say
- 49:23Speaker 1: to you. Fold your lead. Now. You ain't got a
- 49:24Speaker 1: damn thing to say to me. I said I was done,
- 49:26Speaker 1: and I said I got one more thing to say.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Is you listen? You know what men? Get off my phone.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it anyway. This is Nephew Timment from
- 49:34Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your entire praise and ministry congregation.
- 49:39Speaker 1: All your girls got me the frank phone called you. Oh,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I'm a shoot he for Oh, I'm gonna think I'm
- 49:50Speaker 1: chursing on the radio. Oh oh, which is why I was.
- 49:55Speaker 1: You know what? It was all of the five of us.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Now I got some explaining this show mercy. You did good, though,
- 50:04Speaker 1: you did really you? Oh wait, I talked to Bishop.
- 50:08Speaker 1: You think I don't have a show. I got one
- 50:13Speaker 1: thing to ask you, to tell you what it is.
- 50:16Speaker 1: The baddest radio show in the land, nobody else but
- 50:19Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey More on the Shop. What y'all thought? Yeah,
- 50:27Speaker 1: I play too much? You know how? Like you know,
- 50:29Speaker 1: poetry is not your favorite thing right now? Some people
- 50:34Speaker 1: that be a church that really ain't into the praise dancing.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Someone just just don't like it. I don't like it
- 50:40Speaker 1: at all. I'm with you, not like mind praise danced,
- 50:44Speaker 1: care for it. I ain't really into it either, I'm not.
- 50:47Speaker 1: I don't because I don't move. I like it. I
- 50:49Speaker 1: don't mind it, but I don't. Everything don't do nothing
- 50:54Speaker 1: to me? What is were talking about? Stop all this
- 50:56Speaker 1: praise him in the song and in the dance. That's all,
- 50:58Speaker 1: you know what? Everybody up there praise dance don't need
- 51:01Speaker 1: to be here. First of all, everybody don't look good
- 51:04Speaker 1: and praise dance outfit usually white. I went to church
- 51:10Speaker 1: had a one arm praised dances. Unbelievable. I cannot stand
- 51:19Speaker 1: the routine. Jakes in here with one arm doing everything
- 51:23Speaker 1: I could not to lad and he was the only
- 51:28Speaker 1: one up there. I've been in church with praise dance
- 51:32Speaker 1: and they left it. They left the lady in the
- 51:34Speaker 1: wheelchair get in. Now we got to watch this hill. Now,
- 51:38Speaker 1: everybody turning, you spending on one wheel, your little white road,
- 51:44Speaker 1: and got caught in the wheels, and we got to
- 51:45Speaker 1: stop and get your gowns out the wheel, can we please?
- 51:49Speaker 1: Your gown has been called spokes and now we got
- 51:52Speaker 1: to stop the whole praise dwn your gown after spoke.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I can't stand either. The big lady who can't turn
- 52:01Speaker 1: his fast and you're throwing off the unity. You're throwing
- 52:09Speaker 1: off the unity. But you know what the blind praise dancers,
- 52:13Speaker 1: oh my goodness, unbelieved. It was not on step at all. Nothing.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Nobody was together, nobody. And you know what I'm saying
- 52:22Speaker 1: is you know good well we didn't go that way.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Let me ask you're listening to Steve Morning Show, Well
- 52:38Speaker 1: right now it is time for today's Strawberry Letter and
- 52:41Speaker 1: if you need advice on your relationship, on dating, on work,
- 52:46Speaker 1: on sex problems, UH, parenting, and more. Submit your Strawberry
- 52:50Speaker 1: Letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com and click submit
- 52:54Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, Right, Steve, Did I leave anything out? Nearly nothing?
- 53:00Speaker 1: And anybody just not clear too. We don't need Joe
- 53:03Speaker 1: letter cause you slow? All right, bug, hold on tie
- 53:11Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, all right? Subjects she's doing too much on
- 53:14Speaker 1: the gram Just Stephen Shirley. I have an issue with
- 53:17Speaker 1: my wife's image on social media. My wife has an
- 53:20Speaker 1: Instagram account, and I feel like the pictures she posts
- 53:23Speaker 1: are inappropriate for a married woman. I don't have an
- 53:26Speaker 1: Instagram account, so for a long time I had no
- 53:30Speaker 1: idea what she was posting on her page. One day
- 53:33Speaker 1: I asked to I asked her to see her Instagram
- 53:37Speaker 1: page and as I was as I started flipping through
- 53:39Speaker 1: the pics, I was so shocked by what I saw.
- 53:42Speaker 1: My wife, the mother of our children, had some very
- 53:46Speaker 1: revealing pictures posted for the world to see. I am
- 53:50Speaker 1: from the old school of thought where your wife is
- 53:53Speaker 1: supposed to keep covered in public and only show those
- 53:56Speaker 1: types of things to her husband. I told her the
- 53:58Speaker 1: classy women don't post swimsuit picks, but picks and suggestive
- 54:03Speaker 1: poses on the internet. My wife told me that every
- 54:07Speaker 1: woman does it now and I should just relax and
- 54:10Speaker 1: stop being so oh fashioned. I honestly think she uses
- 54:14Speaker 1: Instagram to boost her ego. You should see the comments
- 54:17Speaker 1: she gets random guys and her girlfriends about how she looks.
- 54:20Speaker 1: This really upsets me. I don't want my wife showing
- 54:23Speaker 1: the world the special things that are from my eyes only.
- 54:26Speaker 1: How do I get her to understand that the pictures
- 54:28Speaker 1: are not appropriate? Or should I just loosen up? You
- 54:31Speaker 1: know what? I'm in total agreement with you, husband. You
- 54:34Speaker 1: have the right to feel the way you feel about
- 54:37Speaker 1: about your wife's showing her stuff for the world to see.
- 54:40Speaker 1: As you say on social media, I don't think it's
- 54:42Speaker 1: appropriate either. I mean, in a second, in any self
- 54:46Speaker 1: respecting married or even single woman for that matter, should
- 54:49Speaker 1: refrain from that type of behavior. Is it gonna happen?
- 54:53Speaker 1: Probably not. But I think any husband or real man
- 54:58Speaker 1: is going to his wife to stop it, because it
- 55:01Speaker 1: looks like the wife is inviting other men to come
- 55:05Speaker 1: check her out to see her goods, you know, and
- 55:09Speaker 1: then you know, men are gonna think they have a
- 55:11Speaker 1: chance with you, you know, of getting something. You know,
- 55:15Speaker 1: that's what it looks like when you post pictures like that.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I just think you should tell your wife that she's
- 55:19Speaker 1: a beautiful, sexy woman, helped build her self confidence her
- 55:22Speaker 1: self esteem, because maybe she is lacking in that department.
- 55:26Speaker 1: And just because you see other women do it, it
- 55:29Speaker 1: doesn't mean you could do it. There's a way to
- 55:30Speaker 1: post beautiful pictures on the site if you want to
- 55:33Speaker 1: do that, classy pictures, like you say, you don't have
- 55:36Speaker 1: to be on the web showing your butt and all
- 55:39Speaker 1: of that. You're someone's wife. Come on, and you have children.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Do you want your children to follow in your example?
- 55:45Speaker 1: I don't think you do, so you should cut this
- 55:47Speaker 1: out right now. Steve totally disagree with you, because this
- 55:55Speaker 1: what this guy wrote this letter, and if you listen
- 55:57Speaker 1: to him carefully, there's some real flags that pop up
- 56:02Speaker 1: in his letter. My wife has an Instagram account. I
- 56:05Speaker 1: feel like the pictures she posts are inappropriate for a
- 56:09Speaker 1: married woman. I don't have Instagram, so for a long
- 56:13Speaker 1: time I had no idea what she was posting on
- 56:14Speaker 1: her page. One day I asked her to see her
- 56:16Speaker 1: Instagram page. I started flipping through the pics. I was
- 56:19Speaker 1: so shocked by what I saw. My wife, the mother
- 56:22Speaker 1: of our children, has a very revealing pictures posted for
- 56:25Speaker 1: the world to see. Here is the red flag. I
- 56:28Speaker 1: am from the old school of thought, where your wife
- 56:32Speaker 1: is supposed to keep covered in public and only show
- 56:36Speaker 1: those types of things to her husband. He said, he
- 56:38Speaker 1: old school. When we come back, we're gonna find out
- 56:41Speaker 1: how old he is. How old is old school, How
- 56:47Speaker 1: revealing is the pictures she's sending it, How is he
- 56:50Speaker 1: the one determining what she'd be posted, and why is
- 56:54Speaker 1: she having to get attention from other men in the
- 56:57Speaker 1: first place. All of this when well, okay, right of
- 57:02Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hour.
- 57:06Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, come on, let's get to
- 57:11Speaker 1: part two of your response to today's Strawberry Letters subject.
- 57:14Speaker 1: She's doing too much on the Gram. She doing too
- 57:18Speaker 1: much on the Gram. Now we went over this. Since
- 57:21Speaker 1: a married woman got an Instagram account, he don't. He
- 57:25Speaker 1: found out that she had one. She saw flipping through
- 57:27Speaker 1: the pages. He discovered that he thought that was shocked
- 57:31Speaker 1: by what she saw. The mother of our children has
- 57:34Speaker 1: some very revealing posting for the world to see. Here's
- 57:38Speaker 1: where the red flags begin. I am from the old
- 57:41Speaker 1: school of thought of thought where our wife where your
- 57:45Speaker 1: wife is supposed to be covered in public and only
- 57:48Speaker 1: show those types of things to her hus. Now let's
- 57:51Speaker 1: talk about from old school of thought. Are you from
- 57:55Speaker 1: an Arabic nation? M I don't know, but if that's
- 58:02Speaker 1: the case, you'd have a valid point because that's their custom.
- 58:09Speaker 1: This ain't your custom, bro, So what you think is
- 58:12Speaker 1: revealing may not be revealing all. The woman probably ain't naked.
- 58:16Speaker 1: She might have on swimsuit. Huh. If you if you
- 58:25Speaker 1: see a woman, you're gonna see her. But you're talking now,
- 58:29Speaker 1: she ain't got her whole but out naked. It's on Instagram.
- 58:34Speaker 1: She then turned around and look back over her shoulder
- 58:38Speaker 1: added that's a butt pick and look good. But let's
- 58:42Speaker 1: talk to this wo. Why do you think she's doing it?
- 58:48Speaker 1: She should? You should see the comments she gets from
- 58:50Speaker 1: random guys and her girlfriends about how good she looks. Now,
- 58:55Speaker 1: let's talk about why she's putting it on the page anyway.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Could it be, mister olds, that you ain't paying your
- 59:01Speaker 1: wife no attention? Could it be, mister old school that
- 59:04Speaker 1: you don't compliment your wife or how beautiful she is
- 59:07Speaker 1: because you probably think that are just between you and
- 59:10Speaker 1: her too, So maybe she's not feeling her femininity around
- 59:14Speaker 1: you no more because she didn't have them kids and
- 59:16Speaker 1: you old old ass school and you don't compliment your
- 59:19Speaker 1: wife no more. You don't tell her she beautiful because
- 59:22Speaker 1: you think that's just between you and her. So now
- 59:26Speaker 1: the woman needs attention that you're not giving her. She
- 59:30Speaker 1: ain't getting it from you, So now some other people
- 59:33Speaker 1: are complimenting. Now. I don't know really how scantly dressed
- 59:37Speaker 1: your wife is, and I doubt that she's that scantly dressed.
- 59:42Speaker 1: It's just you don't like it. You so old, but
- 59:44Speaker 1: you stuck in your ways, and now this woman trapped
- 59:48Speaker 1: in your life, the one you created for them. You
- 59:53Speaker 1: cannot determine for another person, especially a woman, what is
- 59:59Speaker 1: and what can be. Now, you can have a discussion
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: with her and y'all can come to some conclusions, but
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you can't just tell her what she can't do because
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: she's doing it, and who are you? Let's see, she
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: not the only one making a mistake in this relationship.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I bet you you'd made a bunch of mistakes. Shirley
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: said something, we would do it because she has low
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: self esteem and stuff like that. That could be true,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: But you get low self esteem from people now around you,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: not building you up and helping you with your confidence,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: and that's your husband's job. So I don't really see
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: nothing wrong with it. I think the real prominence letter

- 1:15:42Speaker 1: with Steve's closing remarks coming up at forty nine after
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: the hour. Hey, it's your girl, Shirley Strawbery, Heavy July fourth.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Hope you're enjoying your barbecue and the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: last break of the day gets home with something good
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: closing remarks, Well, let's go. I think I should keep
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: it on the upswing for everybody again. I want to
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: just talk to you about what it really takes to
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: make it, what it really takes to make it. Now. Look,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I can, oh, you know, sit here and tell you
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: a bunch of stuff that you know, sound like I'm
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: really into public speaking, and I know all of what
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I'm talking about all is here in YadA, YadA YadA.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, what people really
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: want is real simple things that they can do to
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: make it. People want to be successful, man, they really do.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: They don't. They don't want to not know what it's
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: like to be happy, to be free, to be successful.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: They want a simpler how should I put this? They
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: want somebody to explain it to them and simplify it.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to say. Well, guess what, I
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: don't know if I'm the person that's qualified to make
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: it the simplest. But let me tell you what I do. Though,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: If you want to be happy in this life, if
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: you want to be successful, you're gonna have to develop
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: a couple of things. Now here's the thing that I
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: want you to understand. Most people have what it takes
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: to be successful, but if it does not start with
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: the belief that you can be successful, you can never
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: bring out the qualities in you of success. Listen to
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: me again. Everyone has it in them to be successful,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: but if you don't bring them out, and that starts
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: with the belief. If you don't have the belief that
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: you can be somebody, that you're worthy, that you're qualified,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: that you're capable. If you don't start with that basic belief,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: it can never happen. So first things first, in order
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: to be successful and happy in this world at whatever
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: level you're talking about happiness, success is for you, it
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: has to start with the belief that it is for you.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I believe that I should be successful. I believe that
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: God wants me to be prosperous. I believe that He
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: comes to give you life and give you life more abundantly.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: But you got to develop some things, man, And the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: way to develop them is start with the belief and
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: hang on to the belief so strong that these attributes
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: develop themselves. Resilience. If you believe hard enough that you
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: can be successful, that you can be happy, it will
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: automatically start to cultivate this thing that's in all of us.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: It's called resilience. All y'all got it. Everybody got it.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: You are resilient people. All of us are resilient. Hell,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: if you can survive the projects, you resil you. If
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: you can survive public schools, you resili You. If you
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: can survive walking through gang neighborhoods because you still want education,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you resilient. If you manage to get yourself a high
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: school diploma or a geed, you are resilient. And the
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: more belief you have, the more of these attributes you
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: can develop. You got to be tough. You know how
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: you get tough. You got to believe that you tough.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: You got to believe that you can hang in now
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: when all is against. That's how you get tough. You
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: get tough because you keep facing the test and you
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: keep passing them. But all of that, you came past
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: the tests unless you believe you can. Y'all, don't hear me.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: All of you have an inner strength. Listen to me, man,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Don't you know even a homeless person has an inner strength?
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: What is it that gets a person to live under
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: bridge or live in a refrigerator box or live in
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: some of these homeless encountments? Do you know what really
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: makes them live there? Because they have an inner strength.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: It's still some fiber of them that's telling them to
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: hold on. Because if it wasn't, everybody would just get
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: rid of their self. Everybody would end it. But you
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: know why people don't end it because you really do
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: have an inner strength. It takes something to be homeless.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Everybody can make a mistake, man, and wind yourself up
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: in a situation. For homeless people have an inner strength.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: They have a toughness. It's tough being homeless, man. They
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: have a resilience because for some reason they just won't
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: give up. And even though we judge them when we're
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: driving by, look at them sitting on that corner just
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: asking for money. They didn't gave up. No, No, it's
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: another form of giving up. But I'm telling you, even
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: in your darkest moments and your lowest points in your life,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: you have resilience, toughness, inner strength. I got news for you.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: It can help develop your faith because if you believe
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: hard enough. The Bible says that faith is a substance
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: of things hope. For that simply means that when how
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: you develop faith, it's really the essence of it's just hope.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: You remember when you was looking you hope you got
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: a bike for Christmas and you went out there one
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: year and the Christmas and the bike was under the tree.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: You remember when you used to hope? You graduate from
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: high school, you mess around and got a diploma. Do
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: you remember hoping one day you get a job and
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: now you're working. Faith is a substance of things hopeful.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: But if you keep hoping hard enough and believe that
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: something can happen eventually, that hope times into faith. You
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: got to have dreams and visions so big that it
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: dwarfs all your fears. This is how you make it hope.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: You got what I'm saying today, All right, dropping baby,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: drop it. Have a great weekend. Thank you for all
