- 1:47Speaker 1: watery comy. Come on your thing now, Uh huh, I
- 2:03Speaker 1: sure will A good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:08Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I got a radio show. You know. I want to
- 2:15Speaker 1: thank everybody who stops me from time to time, who
- 2:18Speaker 1: encourages me concerning the first twelve minutes of the show.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Thank you very much. It means a lot to me.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It's a part of an obligation. I've asked God to
- 2:31Speaker 1: all at the end of my life, to have been relevant,
- 2:38Speaker 1: to be a person that was all inspiring to other people,
- 2:42Speaker 1: are motivational to other people. I've asked God to help
- 2:47Speaker 1: me share what he has shown me and help me
- 2:50Speaker 1: to remind people of His goodness and of the fact
- 2:55Speaker 1: that you have a lot of things to be grateful for,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and to just simply share some of the methods and
- 3:02Speaker 1: some of the antidotes and analogies that I've learned over
- 3:06Speaker 1: the years concerning my journey. Uh, you know, which has
- 3:10Speaker 1: gotten me to this point. Now, I'm not through yet
- 3:13Speaker 1: by a long shot. God has a lot of work
- 3:15Speaker 1: to do with me, and I'm an imperfect person. But
- 3:18Speaker 1: one of my things in the morning is to also
- 3:20Speaker 1: point out to all of you that you can be
- 3:22Speaker 1: an imperfect person and still gain God's favor and his love. Now,
- 3:28Speaker 1: should you strive for perfection? I've heard people say that
- 3:31Speaker 1: I don't know how to do that. I just know
- 3:33Speaker 1: that I can say that if you do the best
- 3:36Speaker 1: that you can, the very very best that you can,
- 3:40Speaker 1: and even in that, you're gonna come up short. So
- 3:42Speaker 1: I don't really know how. That's not My job is
- 3:44Speaker 1: to tell you to strive for perfection. Doing the best
- 3:48Speaker 1: that you can is all you can do. I think
- 3:50Speaker 1: it's all I can do, is the very best that
- 3:52Speaker 1: I can do. The perfection thing. I know I'm not
- 3:54Speaker 1: gonna get there, but I can I could do the
- 3:57Speaker 1: very best that I can, because we're human beings with
- 3:59Speaker 1: subject to too many, too many things, uh create situation
- 4:05Speaker 1: for its problems, lust, uh, desires, temptations. It's just it's
- 4:10Speaker 1: just it's just far too uh prevalent in there. So
- 4:15Speaker 1: you know, I want to thank all of you who
- 4:18Speaker 1: encourage me, who send me emails or who see me
- 4:21Speaker 1: out on the street, and and and and say important
- 4:25Speaker 1: things to me like that, because it does matter to me,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it does have an impact on me, and I thank
- 4:32Speaker 1: you very much because without those encouraging words from time
- 4:35Speaker 1: to time, sometimes you don't know which way you're going,
- 4:38Speaker 1: if you're being effective or not. And it is and
- 4:40Speaker 1: I want to keep encouraging people to do the right thing.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I want to encourage people to continue to move in
- 4:46Speaker 1: the right direction. And a lot of times when you're
- 4:48Speaker 1: moving in the right direction and you're doing the right thing,
- 4:51Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna understand it. Everybody everybody not gonna see
- 4:55Speaker 1: it your way. But you have to do the right
- 4:58Speaker 1: thing as leads you to do it. And sometimes it's
- 5:02Speaker 1: troubling when people don't get it and it angers you,
- 5:05Speaker 1: but you gotta keep doing what you think is right.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You know, I was watching the results of the protest
- 5:11Speaker 1: this weekend of how many peaceful protesters there was. Now
- 5:14Speaker 1: a couple of people got out of hand here and there,
- 5:16Speaker 1: but that didn't mean to protest should not have existed.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You know, ukn't stop a few people, you know, from
- 5:23Speaker 1: doing it the wrong way, but for the most part,
- 5:26Speaker 1: people had the right intention in their heart and in
- 5:29Speaker 1: their in their minds. You know. It's like when you vote,
- 5:31Speaker 1: everybody is not going to vote the way you vote.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Everybody is not gonna feel how you feel about your vote,
- 5:37Speaker 1: but you gotta do what you do was right for
- 5:40Speaker 1: for your conscious and for your thinking, and for the
- 5:43Speaker 1: people that you know and love, and for the side
- 5:46Speaker 1: that you're cheering for. It's just amazing, though, how when
- 5:51Speaker 1: you're trying to do the right thing, how to opposition
- 5:54Speaker 1: can never for a second even see your side of it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: That's just amazing to me. And uh, I stay boths
- 6:00Speaker 1: both sides say the same thing about one another. But
- 6:04Speaker 1: I think that as long as you're doing what you
- 6:06Speaker 1: think is the right thing, uh, then then that's what
- 6:09Speaker 1: you should do. And don't be slowed by it, folks,
- 6:12Speaker 1: because it's going to happen. I've often said it before
- 6:16Speaker 1: any time you make a decision to do right or
- 6:18Speaker 1: do better, you're going to get our position. It's just
- 6:22Speaker 1: no way around it, man. And the opposition comes so
- 6:25Speaker 1: fierce and so strong, and sometimes you wonder why do
- 6:28Speaker 1: they get the energy of why can't they see it?
- 6:30Speaker 1: But just just keep on, just keep on. I mean,
- 6:33Speaker 1: you know, I've I've seen it work over the years.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I don't care how strong the opposition is. Right, right,
- 6:39Speaker 1: right works out a lot of times. Even when right
- 6:42Speaker 1: don't work out, you gotta keep pushing. Oh that's the
- 6:47Speaker 1: hard part, ain't it. Even when right don't work out,
- 6:50Speaker 1: when you think it should go this way and you
- 6:54Speaker 1: can't see how I could go no other way, when
- 6:57Speaker 1: it goes the other way, you gotta keep doing the
- 6:59Speaker 1: right thing. See, you can never do the wrong thing
- 7:04Speaker 1: because the what you felt didn't happen, you know, and
- 7:08Speaker 1: and and and I try to employ people to remember that, man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: that we've got to always stay on the right side
- 7:15Speaker 1: of it, you know, I mean, you know, I know
- 7:17Speaker 1: it's hard. You know, take the high roads. You hear
- 7:19Speaker 1: that all the time, you know, well, Steve, why we
- 7:22Speaker 1: always got to take the high road? Well, because we
- 7:24Speaker 1: have to. I don't know. I don't know. I don't,
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't. I don't want to all the time myself.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But taking a low road ain't gonna gain you nothing
- 7:35Speaker 1: except more opposition, a lack of understanding. So it's a
- 7:39Speaker 1: high rally, you know, it's the high road. It is,
- 7:42Speaker 1: you know, in all things. I know, I'm talking sort
- 7:45Speaker 1: of scattered because I'm saying some things without saying some
- 7:48Speaker 1: things direct. I try to get people to understand, but
- 7:51Speaker 1: you know, I get so much opposition when I'm talking. Sometimes,
- 7:54Speaker 1: you know, you get tired of it. You get tired
- 7:56Speaker 1: of social media. Sometimes you get tired of what people
- 8:00Speaker 1: say that don't even understand what you're trying to say
- 8:03Speaker 1: or what you're trying to do. And it's and it's, uh,
- 8:06Speaker 1: sometimes it can be disheartening. But even in that, I
- 8:10Speaker 1: gotta keep pushing. I gotta keep saying what I think
- 8:13Speaker 1: is the right thing. I gotta keep saying what I
- 8:16Speaker 1: think is is best for the masses. You now, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: can't stop you know, loving people or wanting the best
- 8:23Speaker 1: for the underprivileged. You know, even though I'm not underprivileged anymore,
- 8:29Speaker 1: you understand, but my heart is with that underprivileged because
- 8:34Speaker 1: I've been underprivileged far longer than I have been on
- 8:37Speaker 1: this side of it, and so my heart goes out
- 8:40Speaker 1: to the underprivileged. And that's why I spent a lot
- 8:43Speaker 1: of the first twelve minutes to help. The underprivileged are
- 8:46Speaker 1: the people who are struggling with anything, finances, career, job, family,
- 8:52Speaker 1: love this country, the rules, the laws. I try to
- 8:56Speaker 1: be encouraging to say that if you keep your head
- 8:59Speaker 1: down and you keep grinding, and then you work hard,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and you and you use on your own wavering faith
- 9:04Speaker 1: that God can see you throughing, some wonderful things can
- 9:07Speaker 1: happen in your life. That is an absolute must. So
- 9:11Speaker 1: you know I I will keep on doing the things
- 9:15Speaker 1: that I'm doing, and I want you to continue to
- 9:18Speaker 1: do the things that you're doing too, because you're getting
- 9:20Speaker 1: on the right track. I love it when me and
- 9:22Speaker 1: stopped me and say, hey, Steve, Man, I appreciate you
- 9:24Speaker 1: in the morners. Man. You don't know, man, but you're
- 9:27Speaker 1: helping me become a better person. Well, I want to
- 9:30Speaker 1: say this, I'm trying to become a better person too,
- 9:34Speaker 1: and and and and eight of the stuff I say
- 9:36Speaker 1: in the mornings is directly affecting me. Also, well, A
- 9:41Speaker 1: really tell you the truth. But I'm usually talking about
- 9:45Speaker 1: something I'm feeling over going through that particular day, so
- 9:48Speaker 1: for to me and out there to say, and it's
- 9:50Speaker 1: making them a better person. I want you to understand something.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's making me a better person too. You know, it's
- 9:55Speaker 1: making me stronger. You know, it's making me burn with
- 9:59Speaker 1: the to do right, to do more right, to get it,
- 10:02Speaker 1: to get it better and better and better. You know.
- 10:06Speaker 1: And as I you know, look across the landscape of
- 10:08Speaker 1: what's going on in this country, you know, I just
- 10:11Speaker 1: gotta do what I can do. You know, now, I
- 10:13Speaker 1: know some people are tugging at me, telling what you
- 10:15Speaker 1: need to be doing more, but you know, once again
- 10:18Speaker 1: there's usually somebody who ain't doing nothing they selves. So
- 10:22Speaker 1: you know, say what you want to say, but I
- 10:23Speaker 1: just gotta keep going. And I want you to learn
- 10:26Speaker 1: how to feel your day up with positivity. You know,
- 10:29Speaker 1: wake up in the morning, start your day positive. Wake
- 10:32Speaker 1: up in the morning and and get it right, you know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and and and and and
- 10:37Speaker 1: and get your projections together, you know, wake up in
- 10:39Speaker 1: the morning and get some you know, get your attitude
- 10:44Speaker 1: right in the morning and and get on a positive track.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And when you have an idea that comes your way,
- 10:50Speaker 1: think of how it can work. Don't think of how
- 10:52Speaker 1: it won't work. See, once you start thinking of how
- 10:55Speaker 1: it won't work, you allow of negatives to come in.
- 10:58Speaker 1: But God don't work. I don't need you telling him
- 11:01Speaker 1: how something won't work. God needs you to believe that
- 11:05Speaker 1: it will work. God needs you to believe that something
- 11:08Speaker 1: can happen. See that's what God needs. God don't need you.
- 11:11Speaker 1: See that's why people blow it, man. So many ideas
- 11:14Speaker 1: go go to waste, man, because people just don't have
- 11:19Speaker 1: the right attitude. When you have an attitude an idea,
- 11:24Speaker 1: think of how it can work. I know a dude
- 11:27Speaker 1: man that the first thing he do is tell at
- 11:31Speaker 1: tell an idea down, just tad down. Man. Then we
- 11:35Speaker 1: gotta work doubly hard to build it back up. Are
- 11:37Speaker 1: you kidding me? What all you had to do is
- 11:40Speaker 1: try to find the way that will work. Don't spend
- 11:42Speaker 1: your wheels worrying about how it won't work. Look at
- 11:44Speaker 1: how you can make it work. Look, the problems is
- 11:48Speaker 1: gonna come no matter what you do. Oh, well, this
- 11:51Speaker 1: is gonna happen, and that can work. But if you
- 11:53Speaker 1: focus it on how to make it work, you can
- 11:55Speaker 1: overcome the things when they come up that's gonna make
- 11:59Speaker 1: you think it won't work. Do you feel what I'm saying?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Hopeful will explaining? I wish I got on that up.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You're listening, you know what? Do you know what? Whatever?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Looks moaning time? Yeah? It is eighteen minutes after the hour?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Who you felt that from the gut I'm talking about? Mary?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Explain that I crawled in here this moment. Let's started
- 12:39Speaker 1: from the bottom. But yeah, right, Uh, it's so well.
- 12:50Speaker 1: How was your weekend? Mr? Success? Like a successful some people?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Mm hmm. I said I was gonna thank some people
- 12:58Speaker 1: this morning. I go, I was gonna bring up a
- 13:03Speaker 1: couple of topics this morning. I forgot. So let me
- 13:13Speaker 1: just say this, congratulations to uh they didn't win it
- 13:19Speaker 1: at all. But Mississippi State women college basketball be you
- 13:26Speaker 1: cond the other night? Yes they do. And I was
- 13:30Speaker 1: on my feet, Holly, Yes, little girls out to silver.
- 13:36Speaker 1: At that little girl many was balling. Mississippi State with
- 13:43Speaker 1: balling and took down Yukon. I've never seen you can
- 13:47Speaker 1: lose again? Right? That they won? Yeah? That that's that's
- 13:56Speaker 1: unheard of. Yeah in basketball, that that unheard of. And
- 14:02Speaker 1: so then they had great season Mississippi State one and
- 14:05Speaker 1: then they lost. Tour was in South Carolina, South Carolina.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Congratulations in South Carolina women's team, the first national championship
- 14:16Speaker 1: ever to go to South Carolina. Then South Carolina men's
- 14:21Speaker 1: team was man, they came on me back against Gonzaga
- 14:28Speaker 1: only to come up short. That hurt me surely. Just
- 14:35Speaker 1: hanging there. It's almost open. So tonight it's Gonzaga against
- 14:44Speaker 1: North Carolina. Yes, championship game tonight. Gonzaga has never been
- 14:50Speaker 1: to the finals, never been to the Final four. So
- 14:56Speaker 1: they big up there, North Carolina. That's what you're written for. Yeah,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm pulling for the Tar Heels. Man. They're gonna be
- 15:10Speaker 1: hard pressed though, But see, Gonzaga's big gotta play in
- 15:14Speaker 1: North Carolina. Biggs and Gonzaga got a big one too. Yo.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, he's here. Yeah, boy in the paint,
- 15:28Speaker 1: what's his name? Are called him big Boy, big Boy.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I don't know if you'll see him on Sunday Stern.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I mean, oh, you know not, Yeah, yeah, I don't
- 15:46Speaker 1: know if you'll see in the league. I can't see
- 15:51Speaker 1: him as a start and you'll drop some weight, pretty
- 15:57Speaker 1: big drop some weight. Shack ain't drop no shack different.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That's a whole different thing. Yeah, hanging it. Some people
- 16:10Speaker 1: that this is some people talk amongst yourselves. I'm good,
- 16:14Speaker 1: Yeah we are. Then. I want to just say thank
- 16:19Speaker 1: you to everybody that came to the ACT Like a
- 16:21Speaker 1: Success Tour this weekend. A success conference that I was Friday,
- 16:27Speaker 1: Sunday and Sunny Sunday. Huge success, huge success. We're going
- 16:33Speaker 1: to expand it next year. Yeah, we gotta get a
- 16:37Speaker 1: bigger venue. Wow. So it was a real big success.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I mean, and we sold out so early. We just
- 16:47Speaker 1: ain't hand him a rounds on no more tables. Act
- 16:51Speaker 1: Like a Success Conference is outstanding. You you can see
- 16:55Speaker 1: your clips from it. You just go to Act like
- 16:57Speaker 1: a success dot com. Uh. We had fifty three graduates
- 17:02Speaker 1: from the program this year. I had the graduation ceremony
- 17:08Speaker 1: on Saturday. We had the new and Rolie breakfast yesterday.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I think it was like sixty that enrolled for the
- 17:19Speaker 1: courses upcoming year at just a lot of success stories.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Thanks to everybody that came out down in Atlanta to
- 17:26Speaker 1: the Act Likecker Success to congratulations to the graduates. I
- 17:31Speaker 1: think you could see this on act likecker success dot com. Ah,
- 17:35Speaker 1: we stream or we live streamed it. H Uh, you
- 17:40Speaker 1: know for people who you know couldn't make it, and
- 17:44Speaker 1: UH that was a huge, huge success. Now tell us
- 17:48Speaker 1: about it. What is it exactly, Steve? It's UH, it's
- 17:51Speaker 1: a conference that I throw once a year where I
- 17:55Speaker 1: invite people to join the Success Institute that I've created.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Throughout the year. What we offer different courses on entrepreneurship, AH,
- 18:08Speaker 1: personal goal setting, UH, corporate training. And I hire all
- 18:16Speaker 1: these professors and UH people who are coaches and UH
- 18:21Speaker 1: people who are in that particular field that you want
- 18:25Speaker 1: to go into. I hired these coaches who offer the
- 18:28Speaker 1: courses online, and then I'm there to teach mindset. I
- 18:35Speaker 1: don't just I don't teach you about money on financial
- 18:40Speaker 1: literacy or or corporate because I don't know what do
- 18:43Speaker 1: what do I know about that? I know about winning?
- 18:47Speaker 1: How to win? So I have the mindset portion of
- 18:50Speaker 1: the course and other instructors and professors of other and
- 18:55Speaker 1: of other areas of the course. And it's very very helpful,
- 18:58Speaker 1: very very hands on, and so people can come to
- 19:01Speaker 1: the conference and you could just do the three day
- 19:04Speaker 1: conference here in Atlanta, or you can want to do
- 19:08Speaker 1: more in sign up for one of the courses and
- 19:11Speaker 1: it takes you through personal training. Like we had our
- 19:15Speaker 1: first lady that came through and has graduated two years
- 19:18Speaker 1: in a row. She came through, she did her business course,
- 19:23Speaker 1: but then she wanted to take the personal training course.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And so people come through there, man, and it's a
- 19:29Speaker 1: great opportunity to learn the principles of success taught by
- 19:33Speaker 1: very very successful people. And so that stuff act like
- 19:38Speaker 1: a success dot com and you can find out more
- 19:44Speaker 1: and you can join us next year and you can
- 19:46Speaker 1: participate in some of the programs. I have a jump
- 19:48Speaker 1: program on that it's absolutely free that I gave away.
- 19:51Speaker 1: So a lot of stuff is really really good thing. Man,
- 19:54Speaker 1: very very happy with congratulations Steve. Another w for you, darling.
- 20:02Speaker 1: We're coming coming back. Yeah, that's right, something funny coming up.
- 20:09Speaker 1: We'll be back at thirty or four after you're listening
- 20:12Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Instead of cleaning out your
- 20:20Speaker 1: closets and the garage this spring, clean out something that
- 20:22Speaker 1: we're really making the impact offload that old time share,
- 20:26Speaker 1: the one you've been paying increasing maintenance fees for on
- 20:30Speaker 1: year after year the one you can't even afford to
- 20:33Speaker 1: get to. Listen times. Your exit team are the people
- 20:37Speaker 1: I trust to get you out, to remove that financial
- 20:40Speaker 1: burden from your life once and for all times. Your
- 20:43Speaker 1: exit team will get you out safely, legitimately, and forever,
- 20:47Speaker 1: or you get every penny back. Visit time share team
- 20:51Speaker 1: dot com. Alright, coming up, the boys are back. It's
- 20:57Speaker 1: time for something funny. And guess what it's right or
- 21:00Speaker 1: wrong today? Right or wrong with the nephew week, Junior
- 21:04Speaker 1: ste This is what I'm gonna do, Tommy. I'm gonna
- 21:07Speaker 1: be on your side nothing, no matter what about time.
- 21:12Speaker 1: You don't even know, James. I think you're gonna take
- 21:14Speaker 1: that back. Yeah, take it back. You're gonna take it back.
- 21:17Speaker 1: You don't even know what I'm gonna say, Sir. I do, though,
- 21:21Speaker 1: but I know it's gonna be stupid if you know
- 21:24Speaker 1: that it has something to do with the road one boy,
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yeah boy, cry it right or wrong with the nephew
- 21:44Speaker 1: And Junior you sure did, you sure did? Okay, but
- 21:54Speaker 1: I don't want you to hear me. Just listen to me.
- 21:56Speaker 1: You don't never listen to him, Just listen to all.
- 22:00Speaker 1: We had this little argument over the weekend. If a person,
- 22:04Speaker 1: can you a person? So whatnot? I said? Can you
- 22:09Speaker 1: speak up a little bit? Okay? The returning? All right?
- 22:14Speaker 1: If a person has split personalities and threatens to kill
- 22:20Speaker 1: him or herself, is that not a hosty situation? You're
- 22:27Speaker 1: gonna be on his side, You're gonna really be on
- 22:30Speaker 1: his sad one more time. Let'sten, just let's think about it.
- 22:34Speaker 1: If a person has split personality and threatens to kill
- 22:39Speaker 1: him or herself, is that not a hosty situation to
- 22:49Speaker 1: tell you that it is too soon? Steve? That was
- 22:56Speaker 1: my wide open I'm ready, though, I want I want
- 23:00Speaker 1: to hear it, because yeah, man say something. Yeah, huh yeah,
- 23:04Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you Jr. No, it's not Tommy. Okay,
- 23:11Speaker 1: So so if Eugene's ridden to kill him, said, what
- 23:14Speaker 1: did it mean? Oh, old Meal and Tommy, it's hostages.
- 23:21Speaker 1: You don't see this. You don't see that. No, don't no,
- 23:31Speaker 1: I don't see it. If Eugene decided to do something
- 23:34Speaker 1: like that, you Tommy and in open Meal or not,
- 23:37Speaker 1: in fear for their life, they hostages at this point. Okay,
- 23:40Speaker 1: wait a minute, guys, maybe we're being too judgmental here. Okay,
- 23:43Speaker 1: we never give Tommy a real chance. Okay, let's look
- 23:47Speaker 1: at really what he's saying. Steve, Yeah, I know already
- 23:51Speaker 1: told you. Yeah, you just wanted over. Are we getting
- 23:55Speaker 1: ready to run the prank back? Well, wasn't it? What's
- 24:02Speaker 1: on that jet scene? Are you just agreeing with him
- 24:06Speaker 1: to get it over? Do you really see his points?
- 24:10Speaker 1: You know you really? Are you really with men? Yo? Okay?
- 24:16Speaker 1: Can I ask you one? You? Can I ask him
- 24:19Speaker 1: one more thing? Jilan, go ahead, hell me real quick.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You don't have to make an appointment to see a psychic,
- 24:28Speaker 1: do you? Because they already know you. Come go ahead? Boy?
- 24:34Speaker 1: Am I right? A wrong? Huh? Why would you make
- 24:38Speaker 1: an appointment to see a psychic? You just go down
- 24:40Speaker 1: there to the office because they know you. Comes. Yeah,
- 24:47Speaker 1: you agree with that to Steve. Wow, you've turned over
- 24:52Speaker 1: a newly. I't beat him case you thought the ignorance
- 25:01Speaker 1: was over instantly being dumb y'all just saying went down
- 25:07Speaker 1: to see a psychic. That's all that is. Church complaints
- 25:12Speaker 1: coming up next. We'll be back after you're listening Stry
- 25:17Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, you know what time it is?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Time for church complaints? That's coming up in just a few.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Don't forget. At the top of the hour, Miss Sam
- 25:30Speaker 1: will be in with our national news. But it was
- 25:34Speaker 1: Sunday yesterday, so we got to hear it. M hmm.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Deacon Pastor, coming any front. We it's Monday, Monday. It
- 26:04Speaker 1: is a day of reflection, a day that has been
- 26:14Speaker 1: set aside on the here show, A day of complaining. Yes,
- 26:23Speaker 1: from one of the most ungrateful congregations ever gathered on
- 26:31Speaker 1: the shows of Christianity. Man. Yeah, and the leader of
- 26:39Speaker 1: the complaints, or shall I say the complaint u now
- 26:45Speaker 1: is none other than my supposedly right hand man. I
- 26:50Speaker 1: am my most trusty deacon. Yeah, the ever mafodical del jail. Yeah,
- 27:05Speaker 1: I'm I'm I am you gonna right hand Pastor. I'm
- 27:08Speaker 1: just the message other people who have the complaint. Well,
- 27:16Speaker 1: are you ready for me to proceed? Are you still analyzing? Who?
- 27:22Speaker 1: I ain't? Oh? Nothing, cary giving more about analytical sits.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Do what it is you do? All right? Uh? We
- 27:35Speaker 1: have a situation. Deacon Uranius Johnson had his surgery this
- 27:43Speaker 1: week and got his vocal box changed from base to soprano.
- 27:49Speaker 1: He now speaks and sings soprano. From this point I
- 27:52Speaker 1: don't our pastor as you know. This is because he
- 27:56Speaker 1: and Sister Darthur Ruth squad Pump got into an argument
- 28:01Speaker 1: about singing the need of certain songs and since it
- 28:05Speaker 1: requires the prano, he just completely got his voice box
- 28:08Speaker 1: turned over. Well after hearing Brother Uranius Johnson solo on
- 28:18Speaker 1: this past Sunday, it sounds as though he was singing
- 28:24Speaker 1: out of his anals and therefore, Brother Urados operation to
- 28:40Speaker 1: me was not a success. He could have saved himself
- 28:47Speaker 1: some money. But now I do think his name is
- 28:53Speaker 1: more apt proposing than ever before. Did I just the
- 29:01Speaker 1: n H? Won't it do? Ye? I passed the sister
- 29:11Speaker 1: Benita sand us Son, who is four hundred and sixty pounds.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Now she can't get in the sanctuary and she's tired
- 29:19Speaker 1: of watching service from the foire. She's asking that UM
- 29:24Speaker 1: the church find a better way to help her get
- 29:26Speaker 1: in the sancts Wary so she can experience service like
- 29:30Speaker 1: everyone else. But we cannot get her through the double
- 29:32Speaker 1: doors as a right now. Well, Sister Bornita doesn't notice,
- 29:39Speaker 1: but I have called we TV and signed her. If
- 29:45Speaker 1: we have a new reality show coming out, call my
- 29:49Speaker 1: four hundred and sixty that's the goal gets We're gonna
- 29:56Speaker 1: go head to head with the six hundred pound people.
- 30:00Speaker 1: We're gonna do my full hunted and sixty pound life.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Oh man, all right, you know that's a hunted and
- 30:13Speaker 1: forty pounds less than the all people on six can do.
- 30:18Speaker 1: The mad church is the question, bigger part, are you
- 30:26Speaker 1: going to get her in the church. He's talking about
- 30:29Speaker 1: not being able to be inside the check? Well, well,
- 30:32Speaker 1: where where does she shit? Now? In the far your path? Well,
- 30:37Speaker 1: that where the camera? We don't have an excuse me,
- 30:42Speaker 1: that where the camera gonna be? That covered with your
- 30:46Speaker 1: four camera. Yo. What we can't do is bringing in
- 30:50Speaker 1: here and take up a whole pew for one person,
- 30:54Speaker 1: there's twelve people can sit on. You never give me
- 31:00Speaker 1: stuff to take back to these people. I don't know
- 31:03Speaker 1: what to tell you. Take all don't give you. He's
- 31:08Speaker 1: not supporting you, don't. I'm answering the questions best I can.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's come over. We have another situation that our water
- 31:24Speaker 1: bill has quadruped past. The sister common Suitor good Wine
- 31:28Speaker 1: has been Sister common Suitor good Wine has been coued
- 31:33Speaker 1: bathing her six kids in the baptismal pool. Uh every
- 31:37Speaker 1: morning during the week before going to school. They say
- 31:41Speaker 1: her water has been turned off and she's been using
- 31:46Speaker 1: the baptism a pool. The babe these kids, he has
- 31:49Speaker 1: six of the men. You know, well, we do understand
- 31:54Speaker 1: that your water has been tidd We're going to go
- 32:01Speaker 1: ahead and pay that water cold and you're gonna have
- 32:07Speaker 1: to pay to get this ring off and around this
- 32:09Speaker 1: baptismal pool because there's one in there. Man. Well, the
- 32:14Speaker 1: real reason we keep we had to feel the baptismal pool.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Sister Baronito or the four hundred sixty pound woman going
- 32:24Speaker 1: to do baptized, And when we lowered her in there
- 32:26Speaker 1: and tear the water, it run up all over the edge.
- 32:31Speaker 1: And this is the first person we have a baptized.
- 32:34Speaker 1: But where we dunked them, we didn't have to raise
- 32:37Speaker 1: the off the water because all the water come by that.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So we just laid her down and then all the
- 32:43Speaker 1: water come out, and then we just took our time
- 32:45Speaker 1: getting up. Also, we want to make this special announcement.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Brother Uranus Jumps, who was for us now sayings like
- 33:04Speaker 1: it comes out of his angel. He's gonna be singing
- 33:08Speaker 1: a solo this Sunday, Devil get behind me. You're listening
- 33:15Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show before we go to MS.
- 33:20Speaker 1: And I gotta ask you, guys, if you saw the
- 33:23Speaker 1: show last night on TLC Man without a Penis? Did
- 33:28Speaker 1: you anybody? Yeah? Yeah, this a man was born without
- 33:33Speaker 1: a penis? He claimed. I didn't get to see the show,
- 33:36Speaker 1: but he claims he slept with more than one hundred
- 33:39Speaker 1: women while keeping the secret from most of them. Yeah,
- 33:46Speaker 1: it was an hour long documentary and TC. Yeah, we
- 33:53Speaker 1: talked about a man without a penis. I'll tell you
- 33:55Speaker 1: one thing. What was that? Ill tell you one thing.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I would have got me a paper out when I
- 34:03Speaker 1: was seven. Ye I'd have been saving and every dollar
- 34:09Speaker 1: I made would have went towards the penis. I would
- 34:15Speaker 1: have been down there at the pena stove, just looking
- 34:19Speaker 1: up at the wall. That's the one. I'm gonna get
- 34:24Speaker 1: that one right there, all of my summer jobs. I
- 34:31Speaker 1: would have dropped out of school and go to work.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I'd have went down south, sharing cropper. I'd have joined
- 34:39Speaker 1: another black family at nine, and we're out that bill
- 34:43Speaker 1: and cotton with him tobacco. So I being some But
- 34:48Speaker 1: I got to put this money together because I got
- 34:52Speaker 1: stick back I got to buy one for Yeah, it
- 34:58Speaker 1: would have been baby without a P. But it would
- 35:02Speaker 1: have been boy would have hoped. And then by time
- 35:07Speaker 1: I got the man and want to read the new
- 35:09Speaker 1: show with he finally got more, I'd have been down
- 35:17Speaker 1: there all of my money, I don't buy them nothing else.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I would have been stilling calls selling don't I don't
- 35:27Speaker 1: kill what I'd have had to do for what we
- 35:31Speaker 1: got to do, get some money to buy this have
- 35:36Speaker 1: to happen. He didn't seem to need one. I mean,
- 35:39Speaker 1: he's he's forty years old speaking. I'm just saying, you
- 35:48Speaker 1: got He's had plenty of girlfriends, a hundred women. He
- 35:54Speaker 1: was huh, Shirley's women got girlfriends, ain't got well? I
- 35:59Speaker 1: got but your name. And this show is man without
- 36:07Speaker 1: a whole lot of women. Ain't got world. I got that,
- 36:10Speaker 1: but man without. Yeah, he knew his way around a
- 36:17Speaker 1: woman's body. He knew his way around their mind. I
- 36:20Speaker 1: do too, and it seemed to work for him for
- 36:23Speaker 1: all this time. I know my way around a woman's body.
- 36:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. But it's gonna be with
- 36:35Speaker 1: It's gonna be with another friend that you bought with money.
- 36:41Speaker 1: That you've saved. I've dropped out of school. I hadn't

- 36:55Speaker 1: me a quarter for the ice cream. Trump. Nope, I
- 36:57Speaker 1: got to say that. As much as you love ice cream,
- 37:01Speaker 1: ain't no damn ice cream. I've been out that cutting
- 37:03Speaker 1: grass everything, paper cutting, grass washing, car biting, passed the

- 41:28Speaker 1: good morning everybody out there. Okay, let me get to
- 41:30Speaker 1: the weather. The National Weather Service has severe storms accompanied
- 41:33Speaker 1: by tornadoes expected across much as the Southern States today,
- 41:37Speaker 1: especially along the golf course coast rather Alabama, central northern Georgia,
- 41:41Speaker 1: as far as east as the Carolina is all expecting
- 41:44Speaker 1: really rainy tornado weather. Alabama's golf course said to be
- 41:48Speaker 1: the greatest risk for some severe weather. Louisiana's governors put
- 41:51Speaker 1: his entire state on high alert, urging folks to stay
- 41:54Speaker 1: off the roads if possible. Or Tornado in the Pelican
- 41:57Speaker 1: State yesterday killed one woman and her three year old order.
- 42:00Speaker 1: So we're talking about very very bad weather, severe weather
- 42:02Speaker 1: in the South across the South today. Meanwhile, three people
- 42:05Speaker 1: are in custody in Atlanta after that fire that led
- 42:08Speaker 1: to Interstate five bridge collapse last week's citing the state's
- 42:12Speaker 1: Fire Marshall Office UH, the Atlanta authorities report that one
- 42:16Speaker 1: man has been charged of the criminal damage to property
- 42:19Speaker 1: to others was criminal Tress Bess. A mysterious fire collapsed
- 42:22Speaker 1: part of five northbound Thursday evening, luckily injuring no one,
- 42:27Speaker 1: but also damaging the southbound portion, forcing the closure yes
- 42:30Speaker 1: of all five lanes. Direction was downhill. Do you hear me?
- 42:38Speaker 1: I'm believing they locked this city up with that move
- 42:40Speaker 1: right there. That's something that's what they think they get
- 42:44Speaker 1: from this. I don't know. And wait a minute. This
- 42:49Speaker 1: morning is a fatal accident and the car fire and
- 42:51Speaker 1: I twenty in Atlanta that shut at a second major
- 42:54Speaker 1: highway leading to the hard of the city. The accident
- 42:56Speaker 1: has blocked all westbound lanes of I twenty at Hill
- 42:59Speaker 1: Street near downtown. So they are going through their their
- 43:02Speaker 1: changes down there in Atlanta, So we pray for everybody
- 43:04Speaker 1: out there they're really dealing with across the South. Also,
- 43:07Speaker 1: Chicago police say they've charged a fourteen year old boy
- 43:09Speaker 1: in connection with the sexual assault of a young girl
- 43:11Speaker 1: that would stream live last month on Facebook. Say several
- 43:15Speaker 1: other rests expected. The case involves a fifteen year old
- 43:17Speaker 1: girl who was reported missing after she went to the store.
- 43:20Speaker 1: The next day. Her mother says she saw a video
- 43:22Speaker 1: of her child being sexually assaulted by five or six
- 43:25Speaker 1: young men, called the police, who found her the next morning.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson says that more than the act
- 43:31Speaker 1: was disgusting. He says, as many as forty people watched
- 43:34Speaker 1: the live attack, not one person called the authority. You've
- 43:37Speaker 1: seen a couple of acts in this city now in
- 43:40Speaker 1: the last few months involving social media, and it just
- 43:43Speaker 1: discussed me that people would look at those videos and
- 43:47Speaker 1: not pick up the phone and die nine one one
- 43:50Speaker 1: there's a warrant out for a second suspect actively searching
- 43:53Speaker 1: for him. Okay. In a lot of notes sports and
- 43:54Speaker 1: women's NC Double A action. Last night, after breaking Yukon's
- 43:58Speaker 1: on eleven game winning street, Mrs Be lost to South
- 44:01Speaker 1: Carolina sixty seven fifty five. On Saturday, Gonzaga beat South

- 50:14Speaker 1: subject his best friends are female. I'll say it again,
- 50:19Speaker 1: his best friends are female? All right, But coming up
- 50:24Speaker 1: right after this song, it's the nephew in the prank

- 50:33Speaker 1: gonna do that on Monday chicks or checks chicks or checks? Okay. Hello, Hello,
- 51:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach your Monica system. Monica. Please, this
- 51:08Speaker 1: is brother de Sean. I'm calling actually I'm a member
- 51:11Speaker 1: Greater Comissionary Baptist Church. How can I help you? Calling you?
- 51:15Speaker 1: Actually about the offering. Now did you? I know you
- 51:17Speaker 1: paid your ties Sunday? Okay, Now you pay the Love
- 51:22Speaker 1: offering as well? Right? Yes, okay, now this past Sunday. Um,
- 51:27Speaker 1: I'm looking at the check that you left us with
- 51:29Speaker 1: the bank, right right, I sure did. I wrote a
- 51:32Speaker 1: check Sunday. Okay. Now the check, ma'am was two hundred
- 51:37Speaker 1: and fifty dollars? Am I correct? Right? Right? I wrote
- 51:40Speaker 1: two checks for my ties and the love offering? Right,
- 51:43Speaker 1: I wrote one for two fifty for the Love offering? Okay?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Now what is this call regarding? Why are you calling me?
- 51:49Speaker 1: What I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 51:51Speaker 1: to be a bar of bad news, but you your
- 51:54Speaker 1: check that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced.
- 51:58Speaker 1: And wait a minute, you said my check bound for
- 52:02Speaker 1: your check bound. So what I'm doing is calling you
- 52:05Speaker 1: about recouping the two fifth as well as you know
- 52:08Speaker 1: you you cost us thirty dollars uh in bank fees.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Now I wrote two checks. I wrote a check for
- 52:16Speaker 1: a hundred dollars. Did that one bounce? I don't see
- 52:19Speaker 1: to it that that that one bound. All I know
- 52:21Speaker 1: is the one that the Love Offering has bounced. What
- 52:23Speaker 1: did you put him in at the same time, because
- 52:25Speaker 1: I wrote him at the same time. They all go
- 52:27Speaker 1: in on Monday. Ma'm now, I didn't put them in
- 52:30Speaker 1: at the same time. I've been putting them in for
- 52:31Speaker 1: the last two or three years. The problem is why
- 52:34Speaker 1: would people right there? Brother de seaun, I don't think
- 52:40Speaker 1: it matters. And when I was there, man, the problem
- 52:42Speaker 1: is that I didn't put these checks in. And I
- 52:44Speaker 1: don't understand why y'all right these checks to the check
- 52:47Speaker 1: knowing that they're gonna bound because a lot of people
- 52:50Speaker 1: right that good? Well, not one clear? Why the other
- 52:54Speaker 1: one didn't clear? Maybe you didn't have enough money for
- 52:56Speaker 1: both of them to clear. What what did you just
- 53:00Speaker 1: Maybe you didn't have enough money in the bank for
- 53:02Speaker 1: both of them to clip. And I don't understand why
- 53:03Speaker 1: people might in the bank at all? My checks clear.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I don't write no checks. Well you wrote one on Sunday,
- 53:11Speaker 1: and that's the problem. How are you gonna try to
- 53:13Speaker 1: give a look? Wait a minute, I think you got
- 53:15Speaker 1: me confused with somebody else. I don't write no bad checks.
- 53:18Speaker 1: You didn't wrote to you. I'm trying to be nice
- 53:21Speaker 1: to you. When can we expect the two fifty plus
- 53:23Speaker 1: the thirty dollars. So that's the bank fees, ma'am for
- 53:27Speaker 1: the doll gonna check bouncing. My check didn't bounce. I
- 53:30Speaker 1: don't check my bank. And if my check clear, you're
- 53:33Speaker 1: gonna pay me thirty dollars for calling me harassing me
- 53:36Speaker 1: about a two hundred and fifty dollar check bounce. I
- 53:38Speaker 1: don't write Why would you write check? What you want
- 53:41Speaker 1: to sit up in the church and write these big
- 53:43Speaker 1: number checks when you know you ain't got it in
- 53:45Speaker 1: the bank. I said, why would you write these checks
- 53:49Speaker 1: when the money ain't in Now, let me tell you
- 53:52Speaker 1: one thing. I don't write no bad checks. And you
- 53:55Speaker 1: got a lots calling me telling me my check bounce. Y'all.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Check is the one that has bounce. And you tell
- 54:01Speaker 1: you what you do since my check bounce, you paid them,
- 54:04Speaker 1: since you got all the money, And don't call me
- 54:06Speaker 1: with this again. Hello, don't you hang upon me no more?
- 54:12Speaker 1: When when don't we gonna get this two fifty and
- 54:14Speaker 1: this thirty dollars? Some abody from the church to my eye,
- 54:19Speaker 1: wrote a bad check. Check. I didn't write no bad
- 54:25Speaker 1: Why are you calling me? Why the treacher don't call
- 54:28Speaker 1: me at church? The tragic is best. I ain't never
- 54:31Speaker 1: know the deacon called nobody about no bad check. You're
- 54:34Speaker 1: fully thank you you got the money I ain't got
- 54:39Speaker 1: Who is that in the background? Who is that for mine?
- 54:42Speaker 1: Who it is? We're both going to the same church.
- 54:44Speaker 1: And you're gonna call me to my eye wrote a
- 54:46Speaker 1: bad check? You don't you call me no more? And
- 54:49Speaker 1: if the check bad, you paid? Okay? Keep passed to
- 54:52Speaker 1: know you're talking like this, passed to know you're calling me?
- 54:55Speaker 1: Can you after that? Look? When are we gonna get
- 54:58Speaker 1: this two eight dollars? Just we're looking for from You
- 55:01Speaker 1: wrote a check for two fifties and not get to eighty.
- 55:05Speaker 1: You you put two fifty in there, it bounced. Thirty
- 55:09Speaker 1: dollars cost us on bait fees. That's to eighty. Where
- 55:12Speaker 1: can the church expect their money? Never? Not no to eight?
- 55:17Speaker 1: You will never get to eight. You're gonna make me
- 55:19Speaker 1: come by your and my check in But I'm gonna
- 55:22Speaker 1: do what You're gonna make me come by your house
- 55:24Speaker 1: and get this money, bring it, bring it, bring it.
- 55:28Speaker 1: What is the address on this check? Check? I got
- 55:31Speaker 1: it off the checking. I bet you you'll be living
- 55:34Speaker 1: back and I'm watching you. You bet not be spending
- 55:37Speaker 1: no money nowhere. You bet not spend nothing until I
- 55:39Speaker 1: get this two fifty plus thirty whatever I want to know.
- 55:43Speaker 1: You don't you know where I am? And you don't
- 55:45Speaker 1: call me no more with this because my check did
- 55:48Speaker 1: not bounce. I don't see how one check went through
- 55:51Speaker 1: and the other bound. Let me say this to you,
- 55:53Speaker 1: we cannot accept you back into the House of the
- 55:55Speaker 1: Lord no more until you are not don't you come
- 55:59Speaker 1: in and say until we get up in the Sunday.
- 56:02Speaker 1: And I'm gonna make sure I find you because you
- 56:05Speaker 1: the person I want to see you. And you know what,
- 56:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna call the pastor right now and asked him
- 56:10Speaker 1: because I don't believe my check bounce. You feel what?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Let me say this before you called pastor, I got no,
- 56:15Speaker 1: I'm a called pastor. No, you should have talked with
- 56:17Speaker 1: pastor before you call me with this information. I got
- 56:21Speaker 1: one more thing I need to say. You ain't got
- 56:22Speaker 1: nothing to say to me. You don't upset me with
- 56:24Speaker 1: this I'm talking about I bounced the check. You should
- 56:27Speaker 1: have went to pastor before you call me with I
- 56:30Speaker 1: tall Pastor one I got, But I got one more
- 56:32Speaker 1: thing to say before I leave, but you're listening. What
- 56:35Speaker 1: are you about to say to me? What do you
- 56:37Speaker 1: have to say now that you're gonna pay the check?
- 56:39Speaker 1: This is Nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 56:43Speaker 1: You just got prayed by your girlfriend? What did you say? Baby?
- 56:52Speaker 1: This is what did you say? I'd say, this is
- 56:56Speaker 1: Nephew till me, baby, brother, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your
- 57:00Speaker 1: girlfriend has pranked you. He just left. Let me ask
- 57:12Speaker 1: you one more thing, though, baby, what is the baddest
- 57:14Speaker 1: radio show in the land? Harvey? You're listening to the
- 57:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, buggle up whole long time.
- 57:33Speaker 1: We got it from here. It is Strawberry and subject.
- 57:37Speaker 1: His best friends are female. Dear Stephen Shirley. My boyfriend
- 57:41Speaker 1: and I have been together for over a year now
- 57:44Speaker 1: and we are living together. Our relationship has had some
- 57:47Speaker 1: ups and downs, but through it all we seemed to
- 57:50Speaker 1: rise above it. A while ago, he mentioned that he
- 57:53Speaker 1: was going to visit some friends out of town. Initially,
- 57:56Speaker 1: he invited me to come along. We had a few
- 57:59Speaker 1: arguments about the trip, and he decided that he will
- 58:02Speaker 1: visit his friends without me. Whether I liked it or not.
- 58:06Speaker 1: The problem is that he has five female friends that
- 58:10Speaker 1: are like family to him. He's planning to travel with
- 58:13Speaker 1: one of his female friends and uh they will stay
- 58:17Speaker 1: at another one of his female friends house, who happens
- 58:20Speaker 1: to be his ex girlfriend from high school. The ex
- 58:23Speaker 1: girlfriend has a boyfriend now and they lived together. At first,
- 58:27Speaker 1: the trip was only for a couple of days. Now
- 58:30Speaker 1: he's turned it into a week long adventure. When I
- 58:33Speaker 1: told him that I was not happy with the situation,
- 58:37Speaker 1: he told me that he is still going on his
- 58:39Speaker 1: trip and I should just get over it. When I
- 58:42Speaker 1: asked him if he would be okay with me leaving
- 58:44Speaker 1: town with male friends to go stay at one of
- 58:46Speaker 1: my ex's house, his response was no in all caps.
- 58:51Speaker 1: My brain tells me I should just break up with him,
- 58:54Speaker 1: but my heart tells me that our love can survive this.
- 58:58Speaker 1: What should I do? I of like I will never
- 59:01Speaker 1: be number one and I will always have issues with
- 59:04Speaker 1: his friends. First, I say go with your brain, not
- 59:10Speaker 1: your heart on this one. Um, Why would you want
- 59:14Speaker 1: to continue with someone who is being so disrespectful to
- 59:17Speaker 1: you and your relationship? What did he tell you? If
- 59:21Speaker 1: you you know he's still going on this trip and
- 59:23Speaker 1: you should just get over it. Uh. Here, here's a
- 59:27Speaker 1: real question, uh for you though? What's keeping you from
- 59:31Speaker 1: going on this trip? If you really want to go?
- 59:33Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying you should go. I just
- 59:35Speaker 1: want to let you know that you can go if
- 59:37Speaker 1: you want to. You can definitely go if you choose to.
- 59:40Speaker 1: Having said that, I mean she can't. Having said that,
- 59:43Speaker 1: let me ask you another question and really think about
- 59:46Speaker 1: this one. Why would you want to be in a
- 59:49Speaker 1: living relationship or any relationship where you're not number one? Why?
- 59:55Speaker 1: And and where you will always? These are your words?
- 59:58Speaker 1: Now have issues with friends? And you mentioned in the
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: in the subject his friends are female? So why should
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you even have to, you know, say your love can
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: survive something like this? Why is this even an issue? Um?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: You know, I just think you deserve better than that.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: And doesn't your brain tell you that as well? Don't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: you think so? Steve? Here we go. His best friends
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: are female? How many times we've got to talk about? Hm?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: It's cool. There's a man and his five best friends
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: is girls. Wow, you you ain't got no boys? Now?
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Your your best dudes is girls? They're not dudes. That's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: that's hard to believe. Man, That is really really hard
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: to believe, especially of the male species, because we so
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: so yearned camaraderie with each other, because it's just some
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: dude stuff we do, man that girls and women just
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: ain't privy to. We just dudes. Man. We talk a
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: certain way when we round each other, and it really
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: ain't cool to talk like that round It just really ain't.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Because we're saying some stuff, man, and we ain't got
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the filter own at all, And that's not the way
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you would talk around your girl. That's a fact that's
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: not known or why y'all saying stuff, Because when you're
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: around your girls, you say stuff. You say stuff you
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: wouldn't say around dude. That's because a man, it ain't
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: no where in the world. You're sitting up with your
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: girls and you're gonna repeat all that conversation and some
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: men listening. So that's the way it is. The fact
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: that all five of his friends is girls, you know. Now,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: The problem is he got five female friends and they
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: like family to him. He's planning to travel with one
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: of his female friends and they're gonna stay at another
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: one of the female friends house, who happened to be
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: his ex girlfriend from high school. But their friends I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: keep telling you about these friends. Man, you're trying to
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: tell me that you're a man you attracted to a girl,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: but y'all just friends. How long can you hold that line? Darn?
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: How long can you stay off that line? They're going
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: over five girls house. Ain't none of these girls attractive
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: to him? Okay? But here's the real problem. Here's the
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: other problem you've got. You and your boyfriend have been
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: together for over a year now, and we're living together.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: You don't even know it. You, you really don't even
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: know it. You and now what you're discovering your discovery
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: while you live. And now your heart telling you one
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: thing and you saying something else. Now you have told
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: him you ain't happy with the situation, and he told
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: me that he going on his trip and I should
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: just get over. When I asked him if he would
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: be okay with me leaving town with male friends to
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: stay at one of my exes houses, his response was not.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: My brain tells me I should just break up him,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: but here's a listen to his life. But my heart
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: tells me that your love can survive this. Now you're
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: ready for the the answer to that your love can
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: survive this? But you can't see you. And the motion
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: of love is two different things. Love make you do
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: some crazy stuff that you would not normally do. Love
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: makes you tolerate things that you would not normally tolerate.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: We all know that, especially those of us that have kids.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: You know, good and well, if that wasn't your kids,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: you wouldn't even talk to the ass no more it
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: fit them. Okay, so your love cancer this the problem
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: is you can't. So now what you're gonna do? M
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Part two when we come back, But it's gonna be
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: just like part one. Yeah, you're all right. We're in
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: the middle of this Strawberry letter. The subject his best
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: friends are female. Listen out after this for part two
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: of Steve's response to today's Strawberry letter, its best friends female.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I'm tempt see where it at. All right, Steve, here
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: we go Part two of the Strawberry Letters subject today,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: his best friends are female. Well, you know, look, this
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: is this is the problem for women that you're going
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to run up into when you when your man has
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: female friends, it's going to create a conflict from time
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: to time. Now I'm not saying he can't handle man, no,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: no female friends, but I'm just telling you it's gonna
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: be some conflicts from time to time. Now, unless you've
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: met these people and have formed a relationship with them
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: yourself as a female, it's going to create a conflict
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: because if the shoe were on the other foot, it
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: would create a conflict for him. Yeah, he said so much.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: So what do we why I don't, I don't. I
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: don't get the surprise. And look, man, y'all y'all meeting
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: these dudes and these girls and y'all fall in love
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: right now, y'all living together right now, y'all you don't
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: even know each other. Man, A lot of this is happening.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: But this the society we live in the day. I
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: was watching UH, the flipping through, watching UH at Hip
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Hop Atlanta. Man, Jesus, I mean, man, ain't nobody happy.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: There ain't no body happy on TV. Look, look leave
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: it to Beaver is gone, Ozzy and Harriet is gone.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Yeah that the Cosby's is gone. Everybody life drama and
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: turmal and they focus on it. Stevie and Josh leaned
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: and broke up. But now he's feeling that baby might
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: be his. You know, dad, the girl pregnant, she didn't
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: got scared now she wonna go back to my Amy
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: kirc and had a baby on his wife. I don't
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: think that. What boy, how stupid are you? Yeah, the
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: scrapping breakup are we? You know everybody? And I was
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: just sitting there, man, they was going through it. And
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I don't know who put the cameras and scrapping mama's
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: because it's the dude that I can't do the close up.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: So I just can't take the close up for Earnest
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: cheff hell all in the way, chess hell taco me.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: If anybody needs to shave his chest, it's earnest, earnest
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: arm outside the bedspread with no cuts on it. I'm
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: going bed, come on, and and I don't want you to.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Don't don't give me one. I ain't saying nothing about
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: scrappy mama, So don't nobody start that because they ain't
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: what I said. I just I can't do Earnest close ups.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I just can't do this clothes ups and them girls, man,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: when they be doing a little glam shots with the
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: little black lipstick, all the cleavages is perfect and everything,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: and then when they go to the regular shot being
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: damn it, it's the same chip that was when it
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: was when we did that vast lean on the leans
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: and the well lit mirrors. It's over for us to
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: break up with this dude, and y'all gonna live your life.
