- 0:01Speaker 1: The Biden cover up and the story of the cognitive
- 0:04Speaker 1: decline of Joe Biden number one, but also now what
- 0:07Speaker 1: could be the cover up with his medical issues is
- 0:10Speaker 1: a very big story, and this cover up is one
- 0:14Speaker 1: that is now being covered up by the mainstream media
- 0:18Speaker 1: not wanting you to talk about it, know about it,
- 0:20Speaker 1: hear anything about it at all. ABC, CBS, NBC, and
- 0:24Speaker 1: PBS spent a shocking combined seven minutes on the newest
- 0:31Speaker 1: Biden decline stories. Now this is put together from some
- 0:36Speaker 1: amazing work from NewsBusters, and joining me now to talk
- 0:39Speaker 1: about this is Tim Graham, the executive editor of Newsbuster. Tim,
- 0:43Speaker 1: you guys do an amazing job. We quote your stuff
- 0:45Speaker 1: often here. But this is one of those stories yet
- 0:48Speaker 1: again showing just how biased the media is by refusing
- 0:52Speaker 1: to talk about the cover up from this book original
- 0:56Speaker 1: Sin that's been put out there by axiosin by Jake Tapper,
- 0:59Speaker 1: a reporter, and they're not covering it, and they're certainly
- 1:02Speaker 1: not covering it the other issues as well.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Well. Thank you, Ben. I think obviously the revelation started
- 1:08Speaker 2: coming out of this book with these stories, like the
- 1:12Speaker 2: Biden team was considering getting a wheelchair for the President
- 1:16Speaker 2: because he was having such trouble getting around stories like
- 1:19Speaker 2: this that they couldn't you know, they didn't want that
- 1:22Speaker 2: to come out before the election, even after he stepped down,
- 1:27Speaker 2: because the obvious point was he should have just resigned,
- 1:31Speaker 2: you know, when he dropped out of the race, because
- 1:33Speaker 2: if he wasn't able to run for president, why is
- 1:35Speaker 2: he able to be president? But again, everybody wanted to
- 1:39Speaker 2: accommodate the Bidens rather than serve the American people. But yeah,
- 1:45Speaker 2: what's amazing about this is, yeah, we have seven minutes
- 1:47Speaker 2: of coverage and almost all of it is NBC News,
- 1:51Speaker 2: like five minutes plus of the seven is NBC News,
- 1:55Speaker 2: ABC and CBS put together didn't get to a full minutes.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And PBS just didn't want to touch it at all.
- 2:05Speaker 2: So they touch it.
- 2:07Speaker 1: And I think that's one of the things that is
- 2:09Speaker 1: just incredible. If you talk about the book, and it's
- 2:12Speaker 1: called original sin, the original sin of virtually all of
- 2:15Speaker 1: these organizations is that they knew there was a massive
- 2:19Speaker 1: cognitive decline and they were held bent on making sure
- 2:23Speaker 1: that was never ever covered.
- 2:26Speaker 2: And obviously, what the book tells you is that the
- 2:30Speaker 2: Biden team would scream at you if you even asked
- 2:34Speaker 2: the questions, and so they you know, that's where you
- 2:38Speaker 2: say the idea that the national media can portray themselves
- 2:44Speaker 2: as independent bactcheckers holding the government accountable. None of that's
- 2:50Speaker 2: true because they're so easily intimidated by Biden White House pressure.
- 2:56Speaker 2: They weren't independent at all. They were playing. They were
- 3:00Speaker 2: They reported like they were teammates. That's their whole problem.
- 3:04Speaker 2: They're not referees, they're teammates. They want to make sure
- 3:08Speaker 2: the team wins. That's what comes first and foremost. So
- 3:12Speaker 2: they don't care about the truth. They're not fact checkers.
- 3:16Speaker 2: They are spin you know, spin machines, and they spin
- 3:22Speaker 2: whatever messages the Democrats want you to have.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Today, let's talk about the cover up.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Of the cover up, and this goes to Jake Tapper specifically.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It is amazing how rich it is for a guy
- 3:34Speaker 1: like Tapper to write a book now and to say, oh,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you about the cover up that
- 3:39Speaker 1: I was a part of. You couldn't go on Jake
- 3:42Speaker 1: Tapper's show and talk about this, I want to be
- 3:44Speaker 1: very clear, and he would shut you down in silence
- 3:47Speaker 1: you if you tried to challenge him on it, including
- 3:49Speaker 1: Laura Trump.
- 3:50Speaker 3: We saw that happen in an interview.
- 3:52Speaker 1: But when I was at SANAA as a political commentator,
- 3:54Speaker 1: we were told, when this conversation had begun about the
- 3:58Speaker 1: cognitive clinent of John Biden, we weren't allowed to talk
- 4:01Speaker 1: about it. We're not going to speculate. You're not a doctor,
- 4:04Speaker 1: you're not a neurologist. A list was on on we
- 4:07Speaker 1: will not talk about this, CNN, We're not to bring
- 4:09Speaker 1: it up.
- 4:10Speaker 3: And then now all of a.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Sudden, he's like, hey, let me be a best selling
- 4:13Speaker 1: author and tell you about the cover up that I
- 4:15Speaker 1: was a part of.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, this is what's so funny about all
- 4:20Speaker 2: of this, when they say you're not a doctor and
- 4:22Speaker 2: you can't speculate. We sat here at NewsBusters and chronicled
- 4:28Speaker 2: many times many Brian Stelter stories, among others, where they
- 4:33Speaker 2: said Donald Trump is mentally unfit to be president. Donald
- 4:38Speaker 2: Trump needs a twenty fifth Amendment quote unquote solution, he
- 4:44Speaker 2: doesn't have the mental fitness. They would bring on these psychologists, experts,
- 4:51Speaker 2: you know, on the so called reliable Sources show, and
- 4:55Speaker 2: they would say he's not fit to be president. So
- 4:58Speaker 2: the idea that CNN would see, on the one hand,
- 5:01Speaker 2: you can't speculate about Biden's mental health and then endlessly
- 5:05Speaker 2: speculate about Trump's just shows you what you're getting from CNN.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So let's talk about the accountability on this issue. And
- 5:16Speaker 1: I think this is a really important point that needs
- 5:19Speaker 1: to be made. You know, there was speculation now from
- 5:23Speaker 1: a lot of this reporting that's coming out that there
- 5:25Speaker 1: were five people apparently running the United States of America
- 5:29Speaker 1: acting as president of the United States of America.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Their speculation on who those five may be.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Let me guess, are we seeing this be another blackout
- 5:38Speaker 1: of the media where they're not asking questions even after
- 5:40Speaker 1: what we know in this reporting?
- 5:42Speaker 2: Sure, I mean, I think they are trying to suggest
- 5:45Speaker 2: they've named some names here of the people who were
- 5:50Speaker 2: who were the palace guard around Biden, what they you know,
- 5:54Speaker 2: But a lot of these revelations are anonymously sourced. You know,
- 5:58Speaker 2: it turns upper and Thompson into Bob Woodward. And you know,
- 6:03Speaker 2: that's what's always bothered me about books like this. He's
- 6:07Speaker 2: got inflammatory information in it given to you by it
- 6:12Speaker 2: sources who remain anonymous. And that's because every Democrat or
- 6:17Speaker 2: Republican who's who dishes this out, wants to protect their
- 6:22Speaker 2: own future so that they can work in politics again,
- 6:27Speaker 2: so that you know, the reporters obviously accept this deal
- 6:32Speaker 2: of I'm going to get the bombshells and nobody's really
- 6:36Speaker 2: going to care whose name is on it. Now, there
- 6:39Speaker 2: are people in here who are brave enough to just
- 6:41Speaker 2: state on the record. I saw him. I was concerned.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I mean, but you know, some of them are elected people.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Senator Mark Warner, who is very explicit about I talked
- 6:51Speaker 2: to Biden about the houties or whatever, and I got
- 6:55Speaker 2: no sense that he understood what I was saying. You know,
- 6:57Speaker 2: so put your name should be put on this. And again,
- 7:03Speaker 2: if you were going to be honest about what Biden said,
- 7:07Speaker 2: here's one of the reasons why you want to remain anonymous,
- 7:10Speaker 2: because and Tapper and Thompson do make this point. These
- 7:14Speaker 2: are people who fiercely defended Biden's sharpness at the same
- 7:19Speaker 2: time they were looking at the guy falling apart, and
- 7:24Speaker 2: that doesn't make them look like truth tellers.
- 7:27Speaker 1: So let's go to the takeaways here, and I want
- 7:30Speaker 1: to get your take on this and the work that
- 7:31Speaker 1: you guys do.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I hope everybody will check you out.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Follow you obviously on social media as well, because you
- 7:37Speaker 1: guys put up incredible stuff. We use a lot of
- 7:39Speaker 1: it here and I want people to make sure they
- 7:42Speaker 1: can find it. You guys, if you're online, you can
- 7:45Speaker 1: go to NewsBusters dot org. You can find them on
- 7:48Speaker 1: social media, on Facebook, on acts, etc. Grab it there.
- 7:51Speaker 1: But let's talk about the accountability here with the media.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You look and go back to your you guys analysis
- 7:58Speaker 1: of ABC, CBSNBC. There eve news and more news programs
- 8:01Speaker 1: as well as PBS News Hour. You go back to
- 8:03Speaker 1: May thirteenth through the morning of May nineteenth, y'all found
- 8:06Speaker 1: they spend a grand total of the seven minutes and
- 8:08Speaker 1: sixteen seconds on the reporting from Tapper and his co
- 8:11Speaker 1: author Alex Thompson, Like this is amazing. They don't want
- 8:16Speaker 1: this story to ever show up. They want to be
- 8:19Speaker 1: silent on it. They want to be quiet on it.
- 8:21Speaker 1: They want to move on as quickly as possible. Is
- 8:23Speaker 1: there going to be accountability for the media that is
- 8:26Speaker 1: basically at this point state sponsored media.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Well, obviously, any public opinion poll that you look at
- 8:33Speaker 2: about do you trust the press? We are at all
- 8:37Speaker 2: time lows. We've been at all time lows for a while,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and it's you can't get an all time low just
- 8:43Speaker 2: because Republicans certainly trust the press. You're at an all
- 8:47Speaker 2: time low because independents don't trust the press. Who trusts
- 8:50Speaker 2: the press the most, the Democrats. What does that tell you?
- 8:54Speaker 2: It tells you that when somebody talks, when Corey Booker
- 8:58Speaker 2: comes out and says we need because we need trustworthy journalism,
- 9:02Speaker 2: what they mean is they can be trusted to help
- 9:05Speaker 2: the Democrats. And so this is another story when obviously
- 9:11Speaker 2: it's not just a problem for the media and trustworthiness. Now,
- 9:15Speaker 2: it's been something that's been going on this entire time
- 9:19Speaker 2: that people are like, why can't you see what every
- 9:22Speaker 2: one of us sees? And you know, we would be
- 9:24Speaker 2: watching something like NBC News at home and the words
- 9:31Speaker 2: from the reporters were all like President Biden did blankety
- 9:34Speaker 2: blank today, and you're watching him walk the way he
- 9:37Speaker 2: walked and make faces and shake hands with the air,
- 9:40Speaker 2: and it's like, even if the reporters don't really notice
- 9:44Speaker 2: it in their words, everybody can see the picture. And
- 9:48Speaker 2: that does undermine the press. It's like, how do you
- 9:51Speaker 2: not notice that this is going on? You know, it's
- 9:54Speaker 2: not the emperor has no clothes. It's more like the
- 9:56Speaker 2: emperor has no you know, brain.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a great point. I hope everybody will check
- 10:02Speaker 1: out what the work you guys are doing. Tell everybody
- 10:04Speaker 1: where they can find it.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we're at NewsBusters dot Org and of course NewsBusters
- 10:09Speaker 2: on Twitter and Facebook, and I'm at Tim J. Grahamgrah Am.
- 10:14Speaker 3: There you go.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Tim, Always a pleasure, look forward to having you back
- 10:16Speaker 1: here real soon. And congratulations on the work you guys
- 10:19Speaker 1: are doing.
- 10:20Speaker 2: You bet.
- 10:21Speaker 1: President Trump announced that the Ukraine and Russia war is
- 10:25Speaker 1: going to go into negotiations towards a ceasefire and suggested
- 10:31Speaker 1: that talks could take place at the Vatican. Donald Trump
- 10:35Speaker 1: put it this way on True Social saying quote, I
- 10:38Speaker 1: just completed my two hour call with President Vladimir Putin
- 10:42Speaker 1: of Russia.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I believe it went very well.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Russian Ukraine will immediately start negotiations towards a ceasefire and
- 10:49Speaker 1: more importantly, an end to the war.
- 10:53Speaker 3: The conditions for that will.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Be negotiated between the two parties, as it can only
- 10:57Speaker 1: be because they know details of a negotiation that nobody
- 11:01Speaker 1: else would be aware of. The tone and spirit of
- 11:03Speaker 1: the conversation we're excellent. If it wasn't, I would say
- 11:07Speaker 1: so now rather than later. Russia wants to do large
- 11:11Speaker 1: scale trade with the United States when this catastrophic bloodbath
- 11:15Speaker 1: is over, and I agree. There is a tremendous opportunity
- 11:19Speaker 1: for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Its potential is unlimited.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on trade in
- 11:28Speaker 1: the process of rebuilding its country. Negotiations between Russia and
- 11:33Speaker 1: Ukraine will begin immediately. I have also informed President Zelensky
- 11:38Speaker 1: of Ukraine, as well as the President of the European Commission,
- 11:41Speaker 1: the President of France, President of Georgia, the President of Italy,
- 11:44Speaker 1: the Chancellor of Germany, and the President of Finland. During
- 11:47Speaker 1: a call with me immediately after the call with President Putin,
- 11:52Speaker 1: the Vatican, as represented by the Pope, has stated that
- 11:55Speaker 1: it would be very interested in hosting the negotiation. So
- 11:59Speaker 1: let the process begin, the President says in his statement,
- 12:03Speaker 1: Now Russian Ukraine again will immediately start negotiations towards the ceasefire.
- 12:08Speaker 1: That is the big moment here that everyone has been
- 12:11Speaker 1: waiting for, and part of what the President's clearly offering is, Hey,
- 12:15Speaker 1: if you guys do this deal and stop this war.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Then we're going to trade with you again, and there's
- 12:20Speaker 1: very good chance that many of the sanctions that are
- 12:22Speaker 1: hurting your economy will disappear as long as you are
- 12:25Speaker 1: a peaceful nation. After Trump talked with Putin, he spoke
- 12:29Speaker 1: with the Ukrainian President Zelenski as well as these other
- 12:32Speaker 1: leaders to let them know what they had talked about,
- 12:35Speaker 1: because it was, in fact, a very long conversation. Now,
- 12:40Speaker 1: one other thing about this story that I want you
- 12:42Speaker 1: to know is what the President actually had to say
- 12:44Speaker 1: in his own words. I want you to take a
- 12:46Speaker 1: listen to this from President Trump talking about what happened
- 12:49Speaker 1: on this call.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Well, I want to thank everybody. We just spent two
- 12:53Speaker 4: and a half hours talking to Vladimir Putin, and I
- 12:57Speaker 4: think some progress has been made. It's a terrible sit
- 13:00Speaker 4: going on over there. Five thousand young people every single
- 13:04Speaker 4: week of being killed, so hopefully we did something. We
- 13:09Speaker 4: also spoke to the heads of most of the European
- 13:12Speaker 4: nations and we're trying to get that whole thing wrapped up.
- 13:16Speaker 4: What a shame that it ever started in the first place.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Now, of course, the media is trying to find some
- 13:22Speaker 1: way to say that Donald Trump is bailing on these
- 13:24Speaker 1: negotiations after having a more than two hour conversation with
- 13:28Speaker 1: Vadimir Putin, Right, because you can't give credit for real
- 13:30Speaker 1: leadership if you're in the media. So the press asked
- 13:33Speaker 1: the president this question about are you guys now taking
- 13:36Speaker 1: a quote back seat and walking away?
- 13:38Speaker 3: Listen to the present response.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I'm called with President Kuton today. You'd mentioned that the
- 13:46Speaker 5: Pope would like to take a role potentially and immediating
- 13:49Speaker 5: these tasks.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Does that mean that you.
- 13:51Speaker 6: As is taking a step back from No.
- 13:53Speaker 4: No, No, I think it would be great to have it.
- 13:55Speaker 7: At the Vatican.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Maybe you would have some extra significance so that it
- 14:00Speaker 4: was discussed yesterday, so I thought, and people told me
- 14:04Speaker 4: that they'd be on there to do it, I would
- 14:05Speaker 4: imagine they would be. So No, I think it would
- 14:08Speaker 4: be maybe helpful. This tremendous bitterness anger, and I think
- 14:14Speaker 4: maybe that could help some of that anger. So having
- 14:17Speaker 4: it that the Vatican would be in Rome would be
- 14:20Speaker 4: a very I think it would be a great idea.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Now, even the media is kind of shocked by the
- 14:28Speaker 1: President's leadership on this one. And I say kind of shocked,
- 14:32Speaker 1: and I roll my eyes because they shouldn't be. This
- 14:35Speaker 1: is part of what the President of the United States
- 14:37Speaker 1: of America said he was going to do. He said,
- 14:41Speaker 1: if you elect him, he's going to stop these wars.
- 14:44Speaker 3: No one should.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Have doubted him when he said I Am going to
- 14:48Speaker 1: stop these wars, and CNN says Russia State News Agency
- 14:53Speaker 1: is also reporting that this was a very effective call.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm sure that was hard for them to admit.
- 15:00Speaker 5: Take a listen, We're told that the phone call between
- 15:02Speaker 5: President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin has ended. That's
- 15:06Speaker 5: according to a White House official. I'm going to get
- 15:08Speaker 5: straight to our chief International Security correspondent, Nick Peyton Walsh, Nick,
- 15:13Speaker 5: what are you learning?
- 15:14Speaker 8: Yeah, this is according to Russian States News Agency tasks
- 15:17Speaker 8: who are giving us the first read out based on
- 15:20Speaker 8: comments made by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who emerged from
- 15:22Speaker 8: this phone call that he took it a music school
- 15:24Speaker 8: in the southern resort town of Tsachi, to say that
- 15:26Speaker 8: it lasted for two hours. He described it as frank
- 15:29Speaker 8: and substantive. He noted that he said that Trump noted
- 15:32Speaker 8: that Russia stands for a peaceful settlement of the crisis
- 15:36Speaker 8: in Ukraine. He said, Russia is in favor of stopping
- 15:39Speaker 8: the fighting, but it's unnecessary to develop the most effective
- 15:42Speaker 8: paths to peace. He also said that a ceasefire is
- 15:45Speaker 8: possible upon reaching the corresponding agreements, and that indeed a
- 15:49Speaker 8: memorandum between Russia and Ukraine may address that particular point.
- 15:55Speaker 8: He said also that the meeting in Istanbul we saw
- 15:57Speaker 8: last week on Friday, low level Russia sent there, suggests
- 16:01Speaker 8: that quote, they're generally on the right track. Al He
- 16:04Speaker 8: said he was very appreciative of a conversation with Trump
- 16:07Speaker 8: and indeed that Russia is ready to work on a
- 16:09Speaker 8: memorandum of a future peace agreement, and that Russia and
- 16:13Speaker 8: Ukraine must find compromises that suit both.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Sides, that suit both sides.
- 16:19Speaker 1: So you step back from this for just a second,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and let's just go to what Donald Trump said, Vote
- 16:25Speaker 1: for me and I'm going to bring peace, not world
- 16:27Speaker 1: War three. Right, That's what Democrats always wanted to say.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Vote for me and I'm going to bring peace. That
- 16:35Speaker 1: is exactly what he's offering here. And the last Trump administration,
- 16:40Speaker 1: by the way, hit Russia where it hurt. Sanctions, energy dominance,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and direct military action when necessary. That's what's gotten them
- 16:49Speaker 1: to the table now because Putin remembers, he also knows
- 16:54Speaker 1: that Trump isn't bluffing. That's why he didn't move on
- 16:57Speaker 1: Ukraine during Trump's first term. This is exactly why the
- 17:01Speaker 1: president United States of America now has the upper hand.
- 17:04Speaker 1: This has also talked about today on TV as well,
- 17:08Speaker 1: just reminding people the truth about the past.
- 17:12Speaker 6: The one strategic mistake that mister Putin has made was
- 17:16Speaker 6: another brazen attack on civilians and civilian infrastructure. I think
- 17:21Speaker 6: that that awakens some in the White House. And it's
- 17:25Speaker 6: the United States that holds holds all the tools here,
- 17:29Speaker 6: both economic and military. The last thing Vladimir Putin wants
- 17:33Speaker 6: to do is a return to the first Trump administration,
- 17:37Speaker 6: when his economy was broken by sanctions and a low
- 17:41Speaker 6: price for oil. He pegged his economy to one hundred
- 17:44Speaker 6: dollars a barrel. When Trump finally unleashes the energy power
- 17:49Speaker 6: of the United States, we're going to see oil come
- 17:52Speaker 6: back down again. And Putin will also know that Trump
- 17:57Speaker 6: can turn off the spigots to his banks and isolate
- 18:00Speaker 6: him in that regard.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And do you think, I mean you just have to
- 18:04Speaker 1: stop there, and you hear this Vladimir Putin knows what
- 18:09Speaker 1: happens when you screw with Donald Trump. He also knows
- 18:12Speaker 1: what happened the last time he was president, and it
- 18:14Speaker 1: absolutely did dismantle, straight up dismantle his economy. Why do
- 18:21Speaker 1: you think he's come to the table now, It's because
- 18:23Speaker 1: of you go back to Ronald Reagan, power through strength,
- 18:28Speaker 1: and that's exactly what he's doing right now. Jake Tapper
- 18:33Speaker 1: sat down with Meghan Kelly to talk about this new book,
- 18:38Speaker 1: and let me just tell you, it was hysterical to
- 18:41Speaker 1: watch him squirm when Meghan Kelly nailed him to the
- 18:46Speaker 1: wall about his participation and complicity in the Biden cover up.
- 18:51Speaker 1: The same guy now making money off of a book
- 18:54Speaker 1: about the big lie, right, this massive lie that was told,
- 18:59Speaker 1: And it's like, dude, you are literally a part of it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: You shut down people when they brought up the cognitive
- 19:04Speaker 1: decline of Joe Biden, and you're now trying to act
- 19:08Speaker 1: like you're a truth teller after the guy's already out
- 19:10Speaker 1: of office. I'm going to play for you longer segments
- 19:14Speaker 1: because I want you to hear this conversation and I
- 19:16Speaker 1: want you to understand something about Jake, And I think
- 19:19Speaker 1: This is the part that you that I do want
- 19:21Speaker 1: you to have context for as you're listening. Jake Tapper
- 19:25Speaker 1: is extremely sanctimonious. When I worked with him for seven
- 19:27Speaker 1: years at CNN, he thinks he's some sort of God's
- 19:30Speaker 1: gift to journalism, that he's above reproach, he's better than
- 19:33Speaker 1: everybody else, And when he gets nailed on these issues,
- 19:36Speaker 1: he's like, well, I've already I've already asked for I've
- 19:38Speaker 1: already apologized for this, I've already talked to Laura Trump
- 19:42Speaker 1: for the way that I talked to her on my show,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and I'm just here trying to get out the facts
- 19:46Speaker 1: now with my book Original Sins like it is just.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Like like I could, I could throw.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Up over the self righteousness in this interview, but I
- 19:55Speaker 1: want you to hear it because this is how the
- 19:57Speaker 1: media gets away with it. They rewrite history of what
- 20:00Speaker 1: they actually did for years as a state sponsored media
- 20:05Speaker 1: individual and they sold you any lie. The White House
- 20:08Speaker 1: seed them to sell, and then when the house comes
- 20:10Speaker 1: crashing down, they're like, let's do real reporting now. So
- 20:13Speaker 1: with that being set, take a listener, Megan Kelly Jake
- 20:16Speaker 1: Tapper talking on this issue.
- 20:18Speaker 5: Jake the criticism has been that you're complaining about a
- 20:22Speaker 5: cover up about Joe Biden's mental acuity that failed that
- 20:27Speaker 5: right wing pundits saw, the right wing in general saw,
- 20:30Speaker 5: that independent media saw and reported on, and that was
- 20:34Speaker 5: no mystery even to left wing and so called mainstream
- 20:38Speaker 5: reporters who were not fooled but chose willful blindness instead
- 20:43Speaker 5: of honest reporting, and that you were part of it.
- 20:46Speaker 3: How do you respond.
- 20:50Speaker 7: It's a tough and fair question.
- 20:53Speaker 9: I would say that Alex and I after election day
- 20:59Speaker 9: interviewed more than two hundred people, two hundred mostly Democratic insiders,
- 21:03Speaker 9: and all these interviews where almost all of these interviews
- 21:05Speaker 9: were after the election, and they justified to themselves what
- 21:11Speaker 9: they had done in terms of misrepresenting how the president
- 21:16Speaker 9: was not just to me and Alex and other reporters,
- 21:20Speaker 9: but also just to each other and to the world
- 21:23Speaker 9: and to Democrats into the cabinet, etc. By saying that
- 21:26Speaker 9: there was this existential threat of Donald Trump and only
- 21:28Speaker 9: Joe Biden could be Donald Trump, and that justified everything
- 21:30Speaker 9: in their minds. After that existential threat was over, because
- 21:34Speaker 9: the election was over and Donald Trump one they were.
- 21:37Speaker 7: We found Alex and myself.
- 21:40Speaker 9: Remarkably willing to talk to us, either off the record
- 21:43Speaker 9: or on background, or in some cases on the record
- 21:45Speaker 9: about what they saw. One of the things that emerged
- 21:49Speaker 9: was that there were two Bidens. One was the fine Biden, serviceable, adequate,
- 21:57Speaker 9: and the other one was a non functioning Biden. One
- 22:00Speaker 9: we saw the night of the debate, and that's the
- 22:02Speaker 9: one we saw some clips of here and there that
- 22:04Speaker 9: you just showed. And that non functioning Biden, the one
- 22:07Speaker 9: that lost his train of thought in a significant way,
- 22:10Speaker 9: not in the way just that every human loses their
- 22:13Speaker 9: train of thought, but in a way that shows that
- 22:15Speaker 9: he's having trouble articulating his very views.
- 22:19Speaker 7: And the one who forgot the name.
- 22:21Speaker 9: Of close aids, who was not able to come up
- 22:24Speaker 9: with George Clooney's name, didn't seem to recognize him. All
- 22:28Speaker 9: that sort of thing that non functioning Biden was, according
- 22:32Speaker 9: to our reporting, showed up as far back as twenty fifteen,
- 22:37Speaker 9: after the death of Bow, where one top aid said
- 22:40Speaker 9: that that tragedy, the loss of Bow, was like watching
- 22:45Speaker 9: somebody pour water on sand. That was the effect on
- 22:47Speaker 9: his psyche. And there were other moments twenty seventeen, twenty
- 22:51Speaker 9: eighteen you hear some her report. One of the reasons
- 22:53Speaker 9: he came to that conclusion was because of the recordings
- 22:55Speaker 9: they heard of Joe Biden in twenty seventeen talking to
- 22:58Speaker 9: his ghostwriter, in which he was similarly inclined. Obviously, in
- 23:02Speaker 9: twenty nineteen, twenty twenty, there were other moments like that.
- 23:05Speaker 9: Most of his campaign staff and others would say that
- 23:07Speaker 9: he's you look, he's seventy eight, he's seventy nine, he
- 23:09Speaker 9: has senior moments, but he's fine, he's fine, he's fine. Well,
- 23:12Speaker 9: he wasn't fine, And throughout his presidency, that non functioning
- 23:20Speaker 9: Biden would show up more and more and more, and
- 23:23Speaker 9: he was worse and worse and worse, really deteriorating tremendously.
- 23:29Speaker 9: The next time there was a really horrible family incident,
- 23:32Speaker 9: which was when Hunter Biden's plea deal fell apart in
- 23:35Speaker 9: the summer of twenty twenty three, and then obviously in
- 23:38Speaker 9: June he was convicted, and the thought the fear of
- 23:42Speaker 9: losing his son, not to jail, but maybe to another,
- 23:45Speaker 9: to a relapse, to an overdose, to a suicide, who knows,
- 23:48Speaker 9: was a very real fear, and the threat of losing
- 23:52Speaker 9: a third child really just diminished him tremendously, according to
- 23:57Speaker 9: top ads. So all of which is to say that
- 24:00Speaker 9: this was a deterioration, this was a progression. And look,
- 24:06Speaker 9: knowing what I know now, obviously I feel tremendous humility
- 24:11Speaker 9: about my coverage that Laura Trump interviewed, for example, et cetera.
- 24:16Speaker 9: She saw something, She saw something that I did not
- 24:20Speaker 9: see at the time, one hundred percent, and I own that.
- 24:25Speaker 7: I did ask Joe Biden.
- 24:26Speaker 3: By the way, just pause there.
- 24:28Speaker 1: This is the sanctimonious Jake Tapper that is just exhausting
- 24:31Speaker 1: to me. He's like, she saw something that at the
- 24:34Speaker 1: time that I did not see. What are you joking?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Everybody saw it, You just didn't want to believe it.
- 24:42Speaker 1: In fact, I don't. There's one thing about Jake Tapper
- 24:44Speaker 1: that I want to be queer about. I actually think
- 24:46Speaker 1: Jake Tapper is extremely smart. I think he's a really
- 24:49Speaker 1: good at lying to you about this one. And the
- 24:52Speaker 1: idea that he didn't see the Cogniti decline, it would
- 24:54Speaker 1: mean that he's an incredibly stupid person, because only a
- 24:57Speaker 1: dumb person would not be able to see it. He
- 24:59Speaker 1: saw it, but he didn't want Donald Trump to win,
- 25:02Speaker 1: and so he decided I'm going to look the other way.
- 25:06Speaker 3: And now he's like, well, she saw something that I
- 25:08Speaker 3: didn't see. Are you kidding me?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Like, like, give me a break, Like that is total crap.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Jake Tapper, by the way, way too sanctimonious to actually
- 25:21Speaker 1: believe this, and.
- 25:22Speaker 3: This is his out right. Well, it wasn't that I
- 25:25Speaker 3: was covering it up.
- 25:26Speaker 1: It's just that I didn't see it, right, it was
- 25:29Speaker 1: just that I didn't notice it.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Part No, you noticed it. I don't believe that you didn't.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I think you're lying to us, and now you're trying
- 25:37Speaker 1: to profit and make a and sell books off of
- 25:41Speaker 1: a lie that you were a part of.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Keep listening.
- 25:45Speaker 7: To be transparent about his health records.
- 25:47Speaker 9: In an interview in twenty twenty, I did ask him
- 25:49Speaker 9: about the fact that voters then he was thought that he.
- 25:53Speaker 7: He was not transparent at all.
- 25:54Speaker 5: No, he promised you that he would be transparent about
- 25:56Speaker 5: his health records.
- 25:57Speaker 3: And then he wasn't.
- 25:57Speaker 5: And when you sat with him again at all, including
- 25:59Speaker 5: one including one month after the Jackie Willorski thing, you
- 26:03Speaker 5: didn't ask him about it. You didn't follow up on
- 26:05Speaker 5: the fact that he was falling up the stairs, that
- 26:08Speaker 5: he was losing his train of thought regularly, that he
- 26:11Speaker 5: was slurring, that he was incomprehensible, that he was getting
- 26:13Speaker 5: lost on the White House lawn. You sat right across
- 26:15Speaker 5: from him, and you asked none of that, notwithstanding the
- 26:18Speaker 5: fact that he had promised you he would be fully
- 26:20Speaker 5: transparent about his health issues.
- 26:22Speaker 1: By the way, this is Megan Kelly, which he just
- 26:24Speaker 1: says exactly what I was saying, like, you had an
- 26:27Speaker 1: opportunity after you saw this, and you still didn't do
- 26:30Speaker 1: jack crap about it. You saw it all and you
- 26:32Speaker 1: chose not to do it, and then listen to this
- 26:36Speaker 1: BS answer from Jake.
- 26:38Speaker 7: That's true.
- 26:40Speaker 9: But I did ask him about his age and the
- 26:42Speaker 9: fact that the American people had concluded that even though
- 26:45Speaker 9: he said whenever anybody brought up the subject of his age,
- 26:48Speaker 9: watched me, and I said, yes, they're watching you, and
- 26:51Speaker 9: they are concerned that.
- 26:52Speaker 7: You get too old for this job.
- 26:54Speaker 3: You know as well as I do.
- 26:57Speaker 6: That.
- 26:57Speaker 5: There's a way of you can say, hey, there's this
- 26:59Speaker 5: poll on your age, or you could say you just
- 27:02Speaker 5: forgot that Jackie Willerski was dead.
- 27:06Speaker 3: You asked where she.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Was moments after watching a videotape tribute to her. You
- 27:12Speaker 5: lowered the flags at the White House after she died.
- 27:16Speaker 5: This happened thirteen days before you sat with him. There
- 27:19Speaker 5: is a way of pressing a man like that on
- 27:21Speaker 5: the actual infirmities to bring it home to him and
- 27:25Speaker 5: to the audience.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And you didn't do it, and you didn't do it,
- 27:28Speaker 1: and she's exactly right. And that's exactly why Jake Tapper
- 27:32Speaker 1: deserves this type of criticism for again now making money
- 27:35Speaker 1: off of a book that he is saying, Oh, well,
- 27:38Speaker 1: I didn't see it beforehand. You didn't see it beforehand, Like,
- 27:40Speaker 1: what the hell are you talking about? You didn't see
- 27:42Speaker 1: it before No, I just didn't see it. I just
- 27:45Speaker 1: didn't see it at all. I had no idea this
- 27:46Speaker 1: was going on. And she saw it before I saw it,
- 27:50Speaker 1: referring to Laura Trump, and so you know, I called
- 27:52Speaker 1: and apologized to her. So everything's good. Now, Everything's totally
- 27:56Speaker 1: fine now. Nothing to see here, nothing wrong here? Are
- 27:58Speaker 1: you kidding? Make sure you share this podcast with your
- 28:02Speaker 1: family and friends, put up on social media wherever you are,
- 28:05Speaker 1: and we appreciate you listening every day.
- 28:07Speaker 3: We'll see you back here tomorrow.
