- 2:02Speaker 5: I sure will? Good morning everybody you are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 5: the voice, Come on, dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 2: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Man, oh man, old man. Hey, you know today, I
- 2:19Speaker 5: just want to say something that I don't think I've
- 2:25Speaker 5: ever shared this way before. The The title is very simple,
- 2:35Speaker 5: and that is it's been worth it to me, you
- 2:41Speaker 5: know I I just I just kept thinking that this morning,
- 2:46Speaker 5: that it's all been worth it to me. And what
- 2:50Speaker 5: I mean by that is this relationship that I have
- 2:55Speaker 5: with my heavenly father, it's been worth it to me.
- 3:01Speaker 5: I can't even tell you the value that it has
- 3:06Speaker 5: had in my life. I can't tell you how it's
- 3:13Speaker 5: helped me to understand not only my purpose, but to
- 3:19Speaker 5: better understand my past' that's critical, man, because I'm grateful
- 3:28Speaker 5: for that, because so many people can't get beyond their
- 3:32Speaker 5: past and event a set of circumstances, some calamity that
- 3:38Speaker 5: be said. Stim maybe it's been grief something, but it
- 3:41Speaker 5: ties so many people up. It's been so worth it
- 3:46Speaker 5: to me, it is, man, it's it's been worth having
- 3:55Speaker 5: someone to go to when no one else was there.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Do you understand what I'm saying? It has It has
- 4:05Speaker 5: given me a place to go when no one else
- 4:10Speaker 5: has been there. Oh, hey man, we pulling for you.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Hey man, hanging there, Hey man, keep your head up
- 4:19Speaker 5: all of that. But I gotta tell you, man, you
- 4:24Speaker 5: get yourself in some circumstances and situations in this thing
- 4:27Speaker 5: called life, when no one can help you but God,
- 4:31Speaker 5: When the only person that could possibly understand or know
- 4:35Speaker 5: what you're feeling is God. The only person that'll sit
- 4:39Speaker 5: there with you through it all and understand everything about
- 4:43Speaker 5: it has been God. It's been worth it to me, man,
- 4:48Speaker 5: It's it's been worth it to me. It's been the
- 4:55Speaker 5: biggest improvement in my life. I mean, man, as I
- 4:59Speaker 5: look back over my life, man, forming a strong bond
- 5:04Speaker 5: with God has been the most beneficial thing to me.
- 5:09Speaker 5: You know, these things you read in your in your
- 5:12Speaker 5: in in writings in the Bible or or whatever you're reading.
- 5:17Speaker 7: You know, when you when you read.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Scriptures and things of that nature. It it's it's been
- 5:23Speaker 5: around a long time. It holds so much truth to it.
- 5:30Speaker 5: I mean, man, it's like, how could this have been
- 5:32Speaker 5: written so long ago and still pertained directly to today?
- 5:41Speaker 5: I mean that that's amazing. That is amazing to me.
- 5:45Speaker 1: That.
- 5:46Speaker 5: I mean, that has to be God at work to
- 5:49Speaker 5: have written something so complete, so dead on point that
- 5:57Speaker 5: if you read it today it means exactly what pertains
- 6:03Speaker 5: to today. That's amazing, man. That's why my spiritual walk
- 6:12Speaker 5: it's just worth it to me. And I keep saying
- 6:14Speaker 5: it's worth it, because if you're sitting out there and
- 6:18Speaker 5: you tripping like I was tripping, deciding, now let me
- 6:21Speaker 5: do it. I got a few more things I want
- 6:23Speaker 5: to do. Couple more girls I want to holler at,
- 6:25Speaker 5: a couple more things I want to get into. I
- 6:27Speaker 5: got a cup more deals I want to do. I
- 6:29Speaker 5: got a little bit more dirt. I want to roll
- 6:31Speaker 5: up on me a little bit.
- 6:32Speaker 2: First. For a while, man, I wish I had known.
- 6:35Speaker 5: I really wish I had understood exactly what forming a
- 6:39Speaker 5: relationship with God would do for me. It's been at
- 6:43Speaker 5: worth every person who out there who hate on me,
- 6:48Speaker 5: that don't even know me, it's because I have a
- 6:52Speaker 5: relationship with him that I'm fine with that. I don't
- 6:56Speaker 5: care for it, but it ain't gonna stop me though, See,
- 7:00Speaker 5: because I know for a fact that haters make you greater.
- 7:05Speaker 5: I know for a fact that haters validate your mere existence.
- 7:11Speaker 5: I know for a fact that half of them is
- 7:15Speaker 5: out of envy and jealousy because of something you're doing
- 7:19Speaker 5: that they wish they could do or they won't credit for,
- 7:23Speaker 5: so they just now I ain't anything all that bam,
- 7:26Speaker 5: and now you just all.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Over the place with people.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Man, I'm so grateful for this relationship that it has
- 7:34Speaker 5: not allowed outside influences that do not have my best
- 7:38Speaker 5: interest at heart to throw me off course. It has
- 7:44Speaker 5: just been worth it. And if you're sitting out there
- 7:46Speaker 5: and you're wondering about the benefits of it, I can't
- 7:51Speaker 5: even tell you what it's like to know that when
- 7:55Speaker 5: bad things are happening to me, the calming peace that
- 7:58Speaker 5: I feel that I know that that's gonna be alright too,
- 8:03Speaker 5: that I know that this too shall pass, that I
- 8:07Speaker 5: know in my heart of hearts, man, that there's got
- 8:10Speaker 5: to be a reason for this, and if I can
- 8:13Speaker 5: just hang on in there, he gonna unfold that from
- 8:15Speaker 5: me and he gonna let me see it. But the
- 8:17Speaker 5: number one thing I always know is I'm gonna survive
- 8:21Speaker 5: this one too, That this too shall pass. It has
- 8:24Speaker 5: been worth it to me, man, to have this thing
- 8:28Speaker 5: called faith, which is the belief in things that you
- 8:31Speaker 5: cannot see, and to know man along the way that, oh,
- 8:35Speaker 5: my goodness, man, even though I don't know what's next,
- 8:39Speaker 5: or even I'm not really sure about the next step,
- 8:42Speaker 5: I do know for a fact that Samoa is coming.
- 8:46Speaker 5: I do know for a fact. It is a fact
- 8:50Speaker 5: that God will take care of me. It is a
- 8:53Speaker 5: fact that he will never ever leave me or desert me.
- 8:58Speaker 5: If I just stay here where I'm supposed to be.
- 9:01Speaker 5: He's coming. The Calvary's coming over the hill. He coming
- 9:05Speaker 5: over the hill. And when he come over that hill,
- 9:07Speaker 5: he gonna wipe out all this mess down here that
- 9:09Speaker 5: that's trying to hurt me, That that I don't have
- 9:12Speaker 5: to worry about my enemies anymore, that my enemies that
- 9:16Speaker 5: are all around you can surround me. You can shoot
- 9:21Speaker 5: all the arrows you want. Now, it's not to say
- 9:24Speaker 5: that none of them ain't gonna come close. And I
- 9:26Speaker 5: ain't gonna say that. You know, I ain't gonna be
- 9:30Speaker 5: a little under some pressure, a little nervous about being
- 9:32Speaker 5: shot at so hard. But at the end of the day,
- 9:35Speaker 5: I know this for show. Ain't none of them gonna
- 9:37Speaker 5: stick in me. You can shoot them, but ain't none
- 9:40Speaker 5: of them gonna stick in me. No matter what you do,
- 9:44Speaker 5: no weapon formed against me, nothing you can't. You can't
- 9:50Speaker 5: do nothing with me. Man, I'm so cool. It's been
- 9:54Speaker 5: worth it for me.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Man, Morning show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Ah wow, another amazing moment, another gift from God.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Oh man, here's something else. Here's the thing.
- 10:14Speaker 7: Hey, hey, hey, look look, look, look, look.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Look, here's something that has never happened before. You want
- 10:22Speaker 2: to know what that is now the present. It's a gift.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Man, it's here again, and I'm ever grateful. This is
- 10:32Speaker 5: Steve Harvey morning. Sure we ain't messing around this morning.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Let's go Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mouth of the South, Mississippi, Monica.
- 10:40Speaker 5: That's that junior government name is kill Spates. The legend
- 10:45Speaker 5: that is nephew, Tommy, we are all gathered here today
- 10:49Speaker 5: ever grateful man, just gratitude.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Thank you Lord, thank you, and I mean that too.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Thank you what you can? Hey Jr.
- 10:57Speaker 7: Yeah, what's happening? A little new home.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of news and your wear stuff
- 11:05Speaker 2: new home own or what.
- 11:07Speaker 7: It's a lot of new. But let me let me
- 11:09Speaker 7: ask you this. You know, Mother's Day is Sunday. Now.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I heard what Tommy said, and I think he kind
- 11:15Speaker 1: of right. Am I responsible for.
- 11:17Speaker 7: Her on Mother's Day too?
- 11:19Speaker 6: See?
- 11:19Speaker 7: See how do this go every holiday?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Well?
- 11:24Speaker 2: See women.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Have made it so I just I was discussing this
- 11:30Speaker 5: the other day. They got Christmas, and Christmas is usually big. Christmas,
- 11:39Speaker 5: you got to go big. Then they give you thirty
- 11:43Speaker 5: days off, but you still usually paying on recovering from Christmas.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Then they give you thirty days off. Then here they
- 11:50Speaker 5: come with Valentine's right away.
- 11:54Speaker 2: That's February.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Then you got March and April, and usually they do
- 12:01Speaker 5: some type of weather change purchase.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Its spring cleaning. This it's something they do. It's a
- 12:08Speaker 2: weather purchase.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Then here come May and Lord have mercy. That's just
- 12:15Speaker 5: two months. It's Mother's Day now that's all about them.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Valentine's Day is about them. You can expect nothing on
- 12:24Speaker 5: Valentine's Day, oh I know. Uh. Then they give June
- 12:30Speaker 5: his Father's Day, and it is such a reduction in
- 12:33Speaker 5: ads and everything causes ragged Father's Day. It pales in come.
- 12:38Speaker 5: You can get restaurant reservations anywhere.
- 12:43Speaker 2: You walk right in.
- 12:44Speaker 7: You got to say nothing to walk in. Yeah.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Then after that it's summer, and then they get purchases
- 12:50Speaker 5: in the summer because they go in somewhere that they
- 12:52Speaker 5: thought of for y'all. And then right after summer and
- 12:58Speaker 5: all that spending, then his birthday season again.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah for me, that's October. Yeah for me, right after
- 13:10Speaker 2: ye's wind anniversary. Then god, oh I forgot. Anniversary is
- 13:16Speaker 2: in June. Yeah, and then here we go again right
- 13:21Speaker 2: after Mother's Day.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Oh no, at the anniversary, and don't and the man,
- 13:25Speaker 5: don't get nothing on the anniversary.
- 13:27Speaker 7: Nothing nothing.
- 13:29Speaker 8: Just make sure you get those gifts together.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Start now, yeah, because Mother's Day is someday whatever.
- 13:35Speaker 8: All right, coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 8: we'll hear from the nephew and run that prank back.
- 13:43Speaker 8: You're listening.
- 13:45Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 13:46Speaker 8: It is time to start your morning off with the
- 13:48Speaker 8: nephew and run that prank back what you got for
- 13:51Speaker 8: his neft?

- 22:19Speaker 2: That's that's an option.
- 22:21Speaker 5: You don't know when it's gonna happen, but it's gonna
- 22:23Speaker 5: be that overweight, don't worry about it's coming.

- 23:22Speaker 7: Go ahead.
- 23:23Speaker 8: Moving on to Bree in Nashville. Uh Bree writes, I
- 23:27Speaker 8: got a call from my seven year old son's school
- 23:29Speaker 8: because he had condoms in his backpacks. He said he
- 23:33Speaker 8: got them off his daddy's back seat. I checked our
- 23:35Speaker 8: account in my went to the pharmacy recently, which is odd.
- 23:41Speaker 8: He said he went and bought a gatorade and gum.
- 23:43Speaker 8: Well the totals don't add up. So why lie?
- 23:48Speaker 7: Why you don't read in gum?
- 23:51Speaker 6: Why?
- 23:52Speaker 5: Come on?
- 23:53Speaker 4: Why not?
- 23:55Speaker 7: Why?
- 23:55Speaker 3: What?
- 23:55Speaker 5: What is he fin to say that he bought that?

- 24:40Speaker 2: Let's go, you got to go.
- 24:42Speaker 5: I want to hear this is really why? Because I
- 24:47Speaker 5: did buy gum. Are you sure those were condoms? M?
- 24:53Speaker 8: Yeah, they're sure.
- 24:54Speaker 1: So you think the people at the school didn't know
- 24:57Speaker 1: what a kandom was? An adult that called another because.
- 25:01Speaker 5: You know that that gum I was blowing bubbles and
- 25:05Speaker 5: you know if that that could be what the boy found?
- 25:09Speaker 5: And now here this teacher thinking it's a condom. What
- 25:12Speaker 5: she needs to do is get herself together. That this
- 25:15Speaker 5: boy that picked up some bubbles I was blowing and
- 25:19Speaker 5: I just was laying them in the back. It's not good,
- 25:25Speaker 5: but we got something.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 11: No, let me tell you where I work, because they
- 25:32Speaker 11: don't have the out of mized receipting list. See, they
- 25:33Speaker 11: don't know what was on the receipt. They just got
- 25:35Speaker 11: the total.
- 25:36Speaker 7: See, you don't know that we ran out of balloons
- 25:42Speaker 7: or for a party and we needed to get them instead.
- 25:46Speaker 7: That don't work.
- 25:47Speaker 5: That don't Yeah, that's why I blew up. The gum
- 25:51Speaker 5: was the receipt. Now, let me ask you something. Do
- 25:55Speaker 5: you see condoms on that receipt?
- 25:59Speaker 8: No?
- 26:00Speaker 10: No, no?
- 26:03Speaker 8: Or do I see this lie working?
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:05Speaker 8: No, I don't see that either.
- 26:10Speaker 1: The problem is he got busted by yeah.
- 26:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 26:15Speaker 2: We need to ask this boy what color was?
- 26:19Speaker 8: Don't implicate the boy. It's not his father.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, Shirley Caller, what color was it?
- 26:26Speaker 5: Just give me a color, any color blue? Hey, very flavorable, delicious.

- 26:49Speaker 5: say something to see how you said we're just moving on?
- 26:53Speaker 8: Yes, yes we are.
- 26:54Speaker 5: That's one of the great things about being a professional
- 26:58Speaker 5: m M. When you lie, it can be so affected
- 27:02Speaker 5: that a person just give up and move on.
- 27:05Speaker 4: That's not it.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Go ahead, shure.
- 27:11Speaker 7: Nikki.
- 27:15Speaker 8: Nicki says, I finally let my coworker come by so
- 27:18Speaker 8: he could stop begging for a taste. He told all
- 27:21Speaker 8: the guys at work that he's got me whipped. I
- 27:24Speaker 8: told the guys it wasn't that at all, and he
- 27:27Speaker 8: wasn't all that. Now he's mad at me, But I
- 27:30Speaker 8: only did it because he got sipped first. How do

- 36:56Speaker 5: else have some charges on you and see if you
- 36:59Speaker 5: can run right right?
- 37:02Speaker 2: Bruh, bruh. You can't even get an accusation on you.
- 37:05Speaker 2: I'll tell you what.
- 37:06Speaker 5: Listen to this be in show business and get an accusation,
- 37:13Speaker 5: not charges.

- 37:18Speaker 2: from you, man, like you a pack of wolves.
- 37:21Speaker 8: The major is going through that right now.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Brother.
- 37:25Speaker 5: It is guilty, guilty, guilty, damn the proof of your innocence.
- 37:32Speaker 5: But when it comes to politics, and then after you
- 37:37Speaker 5: get a man convicted in a civil court of law
- 37:42Speaker 5: for sexually assaulting a woman, defamation of a character, all
- 37:46Speaker 5: this here, they let him go on the rape charge.
- 37:50Speaker 8: But the fact that that's up he said he never
- 37:53Speaker 8: met the woman. They pulled out a picture as evidence
- 37:56Speaker 8: in court of them meeting.
- 37:58Speaker 2: They played in they played his deposition. Have you ever
- 38:02Speaker 2: seen his deposition that they filmed?
- 38:05Speaker 5: Yeah, mad, the stuff that this guy was saying mad. Yeah,
- 38:12Speaker 5: it was, Oh I missed because you know, they don't
- 38:15Speaker 5: show that over here.
- 38:19Speaker 8: We don't mention.
- 38:21Speaker 7: Yeah. Yeah, he says whatever he wanted to do.
- 38:27Speaker 8: Yeah, And they do that, and they do that.
- 38:30Speaker 1: They clap but him, They clap after the statements, and
- 38:34Speaker 1: he doesn't.
- 38:34Speaker 2: They clap for lies.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yeh see that's it.
- 38:38Speaker 5: Yeah, you know we're at a point in this country man,
- 38:42Speaker 5: where we're just morally corrupt and sick. But this is
- 38:45Speaker 5: how America was built the same way.
- 38:48Speaker 8: Thank you callers coming up at thirty four minutes after

- 39:24Speaker 8: you were always in trouble at any age? Yeah, the
- 39:29Speaker 8: last time we said eleven. Let's go with uh, youmember
- 39:35Speaker 8: every age?
- 39:36Speaker 7: You remember every age?
- 39:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I had had a traumatic childhood.
- 39:40Speaker 8: Let's go with fifteen, Steve, Well, oh, fifteen.
- 39:45Speaker 6: To get.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Put his head out?
- 39:48Speaker 8: Why didn't you always put your head down first? What
- 39:54Speaker 8: happened at fifteen?
- 39:56Speaker 5: I'm in fifteen. This is when I discovered my father
- 39:59Speaker 5: was now whipping me anymore.
- 40:02Speaker 8: Oh, that was a good thing.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and not really. All happened. Supposed to be home
- 40:13Speaker 2: at midnight one time curfew.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Well, I think it's eleven thirty or midnight, one of
- 40:21Speaker 5: the two, and uh, I was somewhere and I stayed
- 40:25Speaker 5: out longer. So I came in around one one fifteen,
- 40:31Speaker 5: and I put the key in the door in the kitchen.
- 40:34Speaker 5: We lived on the second floor, so I put the
- 40:36Speaker 5: key in the door in the kitchen. As soon as
- 40:39Speaker 5: you open the door, there's a refrigerator right there.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Okay, So.
- 40:45Speaker 5: I cut the kitchen light on as soon as I
- 40:47Speaker 5: walked in. I wanted to go through, but I needed
- 40:50Speaker 5: to get a quick visual so I could walk through
- 40:52Speaker 5: the kitchen, walk across the dining room, across the living room,
- 40:55Speaker 5: going upstairs, go to my room. I cut the light
- 40:58Speaker 5: on just to get a visil visual. And so I'm
- 41:02Speaker 5: walking across the kitchen. My daddy steps from the other
- 41:08Speaker 5: side of the refrigerator. Now he got a gun in
- 41:13Speaker 5: one hand. He got his drawers on because he heard
- 41:17Speaker 5: somebody coming up the steps late at night. My mama
- 41:20Speaker 5: slicks somebody in here. My mama didn't know what was me.
- 41:27Speaker 5: I cut the light on. I'm walking past refrigerator, he
- 41:29Speaker 5: stepped on the other side refrigerator. I could tell he's sleepy,
- 41:33Speaker 5: but he mad hurt, so I said, it's scared the
- 41:38Speaker 5: hell out of me. But I went, hey, Daddy, he said,
- 41:42Speaker 5: He said, what turn your mama to you be home?
- 41:47Speaker 5: I said, well, Daddy, something happened. He said, I asked
- 41:51Speaker 5: you that. I asked you what time your mama told
- 41:55Speaker 5: you to be home. I said, well, Daddy, she said
- 41:59Speaker 5: eleven thirty. Now I'm looking at this gun and I'm thinking,
- 42:02Speaker 5: this ain't really no reason to get shot, because that's
- 42:06Speaker 5: really not my daddy's style. This wasn't that severe of
- 42:11Speaker 5: an infraction that I said something back to my mama.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I knew that I was gonna get shot in pistol whipping,
- 42:19Speaker 2: but I.
- 42:20Speaker 5: Didn't think that was it. So I walked past him.
- 42:24Speaker 5: He said hold on, and then laid the gun on
- 42:27Speaker 5: the counter. So I said, okay, cool, Well, at least
- 42:30Speaker 5: I ain't gonna get shot. My daddy hauled off man
- 42:36Speaker 5: and punched my little ass in my chest.
- 42:41Speaker 2: So hard. I fell back and knocked the TV off
- 42:46Speaker 2: the TV stand.
- 42:50Speaker 7: Interpret TV.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Broke broke them damn rabbit is oh that's it right there?
- 43:02Speaker 6: And the cat.
- 43:05Speaker 7: Should have just got I know this is Xena.
- 43:10Speaker 10: I know it is.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I know it is zena man it was.
- 43:14Speaker 1: But I know I know therapy.
- 43:20Speaker 7: Yeah, I do.
- 43:21Speaker 2: I have that thing to have when you call from war.
- 43:26Speaker 7: I had.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Never walk, y'all, never recovered from that chest punch.
- 43:34Speaker 8: All right, all right? Coming up next, it is the

- 50:09Speaker 5: I got on top of the tour roll. I had
- 50:12Speaker 5: a seated tour role when I lived in Dallas. Probably
- 50:16Speaker 5: you know, one of the mores sit on, you know,
- 50:19Speaker 5: like people have in the suburbs. You know that ain't
- 50:22Speaker 5: nothing exotic. A lot of people got damned. But I
- 50:24Speaker 5: was cutting it back. I used to like doing that.
- 50:26Speaker 5: It was therapeutic for me. About two thousand and three.
- 50:30Speaker 14: Good.
- 50:32Speaker 8: Two years ago.
- 50:34Speaker 1: So that's yeah, twenty years ago.

- 50:46Speaker 8: I just see that very different.
- 50:48Speaker 2: He don't do a lot of stuff I do.

- 50:57Speaker 11: Yes, I have a first yard, cold said, I'm good.
- 51:00Speaker 11: You go yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll tell you other
- 51:04Speaker 11: thing I did that you probably't did in a while.
- 51:06Speaker 11: I had to go up in the attic and change
- 51:07Speaker 11: the air filter. When the last time you did that up?
- 51:10Speaker 2: I don't I don't even know what air filter?
- 51:22Speaker 7: When you want the smell good? When you when your
- 51:23Speaker 7: grass just get cut? Yeah, welcome, welcome, baby, you're in
- 51:30Speaker 7: there now.
- 51:34Speaker 2: I don't think they have the air filters.
- 51:37Speaker 7: You got filters. You gotta you gotta have you just.
- 51:43Speaker 5: Now.
- 51:43Speaker 2: I put an O zone.
- 51:45Speaker 8: System in the what what the one that covered the earth,
- 51:51Speaker 8: the whole layer?
- 51:56Speaker 7: What's the zone system?
- 51:58Speaker 5: The thing you put in your house. It helps me
- 52:00Speaker 5: use infection and COVID came out, the big COVID thing.
- 52:06Speaker 5: And then you helps with the cut down on any
- 52:09Speaker 5: odd allergenics that's in the air, if that's a word. Yeah,
- 52:18Speaker 5: or allergenics. You know allergenics. Is that a smaller group
- 52:21Speaker 5: of people? Allergen sing.
- 52:30Speaker 8: Zone system in his house?
- 52:31Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 52:32Speaker 8: Okay, oh god, let's be nice. We don't.
- 52:37Speaker 7: Let's be nice man, everybody it is.

- 53:24Speaker 7: You never know. Buckle up and hold on tight. We
- 53:26Speaker 7: got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:29Speaker 8: Thank you. Nephew's subject he is too loud for my apartment.
- 53:33Speaker 8: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty two year old single
- 53:35Speaker 8: woman and I'm messing around with a married man that
- 53:38Speaker 8: is forty seven years old. He has an older wife
- 53:42Speaker 8: that is married to him only for social status. He
- 53:45Speaker 8: said they sleep in separate rooms and she hasn't had
- 53:49Speaker 8: sex with him in a few years. I can see
- 53:51Speaker 8: why she doesn't want to have sex with him. Don't
- 53:54Speaker 8: get me wrong, he's great in bed and knows how
- 53:56Speaker 8: to please, but he's so darn loud. Even this pregame
- 54:01Speaker 8: is loud and sloppy, and it cannot be done when
- 54:04Speaker 8: anyone else is in the house. I bet since he
- 54:06Speaker 8: and his wife have teenagers, she stopped having sex with
- 54:09Speaker 8: him so their children wouldn't have to hear him moaning
- 54:12Speaker 8: and groaning. It was shocking when he did it the
- 54:14Speaker 8: first few times, and I thought there was there is
- 54:17Speaker 8: no way I could be that good to him, that
- 54:20Speaker 8: it could be that good to him. He's so dramatic
- 54:23Speaker 8: with it, and if I do the slightest movement, it
- 54:26Speaker 8: sends him into a frenzy. I live in a small
- 54:29Speaker 8: apartment community. In my bedrooms face the courtyard. I have
- 54:33Speaker 8: gotten two anonymous noise complaints from management, and I know
- 54:37Speaker 8: it's not from a neighbor because I live at the
- 54:40Speaker 8: end of the hallway on the top floor. I'm scared
- 54:43Speaker 8: that people in the courtyard are neighbors below me or
- 54:46Speaker 8: across the hall can hear him. I have tried turning
- 54:49Speaker 8: up music and turning the TV on, but he doesn't
- 54:53Speaker 8: like noise when he's quote unquote concentrating, as he calls it.
- 54:58Speaker 8: Going on a weekend trip with him was just as bad.
- 55:01Speaker 8: We had an early morning session and the housekeepers were
- 55:04Speaker 8: snickering as we left the room. I'm afraid to tell
- 55:08Speaker 8: him to tone it down because he really gets into
- 55:10Speaker 8: what he's doing. I just wipe his sweat and whisper
- 55:14Speaker 8: softly to him, hoping he'll take the hint. He's a
- 55:18Speaker 8: great guy, but he's too loud for my apartment. Is
- 55:22Speaker 8: all of that noise necessary? Or should I ask him
- 55:25Speaker 8: to tone it down? What are you doing? I mean,
- 55:32Speaker 8: do you want to bring attention to the fact that
- 55:35Speaker 8: you're sleeping with someone's husband?
- 55:36Speaker 12: Is that what this is?
- 55:37Speaker 8: I mean, you know he's loud. You know he makes
- 55:40Speaker 8: a lot of noise when you guys are together. It's
- 55:43Speaker 8: just a matter of time before someone and the wrong someone.
- 55:47Speaker 8: Here's you, guys, because other than him and all that hollering,
- 55:51Speaker 8: there's no other noise, no music, and no TV. You said, right,
- 55:55Speaker 8: so people can hear you. So you're not too scared
- 55:59Speaker 8: that you're doing the do with him someone else's husband,
- 56:02Speaker 8: But you're afraid to tell him to keep quiet during sex,
- 56:06Speaker 8: or tone it down or just shut it down.
- 56:08Speaker 7: What it I mean? This is so crazy to me.
- 56:14Speaker 8: What you don't want is for his wife to hear
- 56:17Speaker 8: you if she's ever around. So your choices are to
- 56:20Speaker 8: stop seeing him or tell him to stop being so loud.
- 56:23Speaker 8: And by the way, most married men tell their side
- 56:26Speaker 8: pieces exactly what your married men told you. She hasn't
- 56:29Speaker 8: had sex with him in a few years. They live
- 56:33Speaker 8: in separate rooms, or they sleep in separate wombs. Rooms, okay,
- 56:36Speaker 8: and wombs, they do all of that, okay, So please
- 56:39Speaker 8: don't believe his lies. And the other thing is, why
- 56:42Speaker 8: don't you just leave this woman's husband alone and then
- 56:44Speaker 8: you won't have to worry about the noise.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Steve, let's just get to this letter. I don't have
- 56:50Speaker 2: no time to play this morning.
- 56:52Speaker 5: Sometimes I get tired of trying to rationalize stuff and
- 56:56Speaker 5: teach people lessen here, what's finna happen?
- 56:59Speaker 7: He's finna get your ass put out now.
- 57:04Speaker 2: You done had two damn complaints from management office.
- 57:08Speaker 5: He finna get y'all put out because he loud. His
- 57:12Speaker 5: pregame is loud and slopping, but he just too damn loud.
- 57:19Speaker 5: You can't make the slightest movement, because that throw him
- 57:23Speaker 5: into a frenzy.
- 57:25Speaker 4: You think it.
- 57:25Speaker 5: There's no way I can be that good? Yes, you
- 57:28Speaker 5: can now that right there is where we need to stop.
- 57:31Speaker 5: You can be that good. Yes, any slightest movement. Yes, frenzy,
- 57:39Speaker 5: complete at utter frenzy. That can happen. You, ain't you
- 57:46Speaker 5: every woman in here that heard this right here?
- 57:48Speaker 8: Wait wait hold on too loud, No.
- 57:55Speaker 7: No, that ain't allowed.
- 57:56Speaker 2: But the way way as that's what you're doing. You
- 58:00Speaker 2: don't mind this here? Wait wait wait, wait wait wait,
- 58:03Speaker 2: hold up, hold on stop, that's normal.
- 58:10Speaker 7: Alive.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Man, Look at him right now? That ast that.
- 58:17Speaker 12: Girl?
- 58:18Speaker 2: You go, whoa, you're gonna have God, Roger god jo
- 58:23Speaker 2: you better?
- 58:24Speaker 6: What the hell I don't?
- 58:27Speaker 14: Oh lord?
- 58:29Speaker 5: Oh watch out now wait a minute? Stop hold up,
- 58:36Speaker 5: see that right there. You finna get put out. You're
- 58:40Speaker 5: not fin to be living in your house no more.
- 58:42Speaker 5: I'm sorry, you can stop. You're finna get put out.
- 58:47Speaker 5: You ain't finna live in this building no more. And
- 58:50Speaker 5: I just think that, uh you know, it's this relationship
- 58:53Speaker 5: right here, and that surely did the moral thing to
- 58:55Speaker 5: tell you leave this woman's husband along. I could go
- 58:58Speaker 5: that too, But people do if you already in it.
- 59:00Speaker 5: You're taking trips, and you are correct. They are not
- 59:04Speaker 5: sleeping together now that Shirley's right. That's the we're not
- 59:07Speaker 5: sleeping together, we're not having sex. Were in separate rooms.
- 59:12Speaker 5: She's older than me. It's an arrangement. We've staying for
- 59:16Speaker 5: the kids. She's staying for the social reason. We've been
- 59:19Speaker 5: married so long, you know, we waiting on the kids
- 59:23Speaker 5: to move out, you know. Blah blah, Oh, this is okay.
- 59:27Speaker 5: When we come back, I'll just go over a couple
- 59:30Speaker 5: of things that I think might help you, junior or time.
- 59:33Speaker 5: You might want to join in some that might help shut.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Down the noise. I don't know.
- 59:38Speaker 8: It's so loud that sevil.
- 59:41Speaker 2: Let's we'll call it all right.
- 59:42Speaker 8: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:45Speaker 8: twenty three minutes after the hours Today's strawberry letter, subject
- 59:49Speaker 8: he is too loud for my apartment. We'll get back
- 59:52Speaker 8: into it right after this. You're listening.
- 59:56Speaker 9: Morning show, all right, Come on.
- 59:58Speaker 8: Steve, let's recap today's strawberry or the subject is he
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: is too loud for my apartment?
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: Thirty two year old woman is dating a forty seven
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: year old married man and he is just too damn loud.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: She done got a couple of complaints from the office.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: She's at the end of the hallway down there and
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: she don't know who it is, but she thinks people
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: in the courtyard and hearm because he is just extremely loud.
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: He is good in bed and he wants to concentrate.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: She's tried turning on TVs and music, but nothing helps.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Ny.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: It's just a ride going on in the house.
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: Because once you cut the TV up and he's still loud,
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: you'll never know what's on TV. Sometimes there's gunfire, sometimes
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: it's a car chase. And now and him in now
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: hollering and moaning and groaning. It's just too much going on.
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: It's a ride happening in your house. They're gonna mess
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: around and call the police because it just sounded like
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: you into like something's going on. So now you have
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: tried whispering to him, hoping that he will take the
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: hint based off.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: But here go your problem.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: Any slightest movement you make throws him into a frenzy.
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: Now that is true. That is true. You know it
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: is true that Lord is true. So now he too loud.
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: Now what can we do to calm him down? I
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: haven't thought of a lot of stuff. I'm gonna ask
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: Junior Tommy if they can have something they can join
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: in too. Now you would think naturally about a pillow.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: You would think, have him lay his face in the pillow.
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: That's not going to work because you already wipe and sweat.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: What you can't do is have him not breathing. You're
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: gonna kill his old.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: Lass't won't work. No, Now, you could bring the only
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: thing I could see doing this. You could bring a
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: switch blade or a butcher knife to bed.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: What and why he is on you?
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: You put that knife up against his throat and you say,
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: now get me put out and see what happened.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: That's all I could think.
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: Could we possibly duct tape his mouth and just let
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: him breathe through his No, that's a good idea, you
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: see what I'm saying.
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: Duct tape to the.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: You're gonna for your some thought in that, Junior, any idea?
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: Yeah, I was thinking, since she already in trouble and
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: it has already been reported that she did, it's too
- 1:02:49Speaker 11: loud down there in her room, going ahead and hide
- 1:02:52Speaker 11: a gap? Band all nine members put the whole full
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: band in the room.
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: That's what you need. He ain't no more gap band left.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: But hey, hey, hey, put all them in there.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: Just get a band in there.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Just somebody play it like it's a live concert there.
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: Yeah, but see, you can't do that because they already
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: know his complaints. I was thinking, one monkey, Well, that
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: ain't gonna shut him down. But then if you have,
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: it won't be him. Yeah, okay, I got that going on.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: You got that, and then they won't be in your
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: personal business. It'll just be the monkey business.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: Listen, what if both of them put those sleep Avenue
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: mask on? Will that works? Can they both put their
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: mask on?
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: There's a lot happening.
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: Hell yeah, hell yeah, get that damn sleep Avenue mask.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: Gotta shut it down.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: That's a great. Now here's another one. Uh, get your
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: get you a bag of cotton.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: That way he can still use his mouth and open
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: and shut it and pack it with cotton. God a
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: muffle that sound. And that way you can still breathe
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: through that cotton. It's gonna work good till that cotton
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: get wet. Now, now that if that cotton get wet,
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: you're finn to kill yourself because you're gonna choke to death. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: we'll not sloppy anyway, it's too Julian.
- 1:04:41Speaker 11: Do you know anybody with a new born set of quintuplets,
- 1:04:47Speaker 11: just five babies just screaming in there that that wouldn't
- 1:04:50Speaker 11: be him, it'd be the baby.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: That kind of killed the mood though, because you got
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: to pay attention to the baby. I can't. I can
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: ain't put the right work of with my right amount
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: of working here with these damn babies.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: Maybe maybe they need to, like maybe start having sex
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: at the library, see and learn how to be quiet.
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: That might work too. Learn how to be quiet, you
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: have to You can do it at the library. I
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: have done it the library. You do that library. You're
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: doing something. You're gonna be quiet.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: All have sex at gunpoint like that quiet, but that
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: gunpoint though, you be very quiet.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: But you're scared. That's how I know. But you're quiet, but.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: Not gonna be as good. But it's gonna be quat.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Ye surely has an ultimate solution. You need to lead
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: it married, do.
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: Go on about your business.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: That's the price you pay it. So you don't understand
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: you being punished. You don't see that.
- 1:05:56Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: Poster comments on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey f

- 1:06:24Speaker 11: You know, the the Knicks pulled it off one twelve
- 1:06:26Speaker 11: to one O three over the heat, but the Heat
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: still lead three to two. Ah, come on, man, the Knicks, man,
- 1:06:32Speaker 11: they could they could really possibly hang in here. They
- 1:06:34Speaker 11: the folks seed now they really can. They can probably
- 1:06:37Speaker 11: take this to seven games.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: I thought they would, but that he called Jimmy Butler,
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: he just moved.
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: Gangston than they are by himself. Jimmy Butler just way
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: more gangster.
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: It's all right.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: But also, man, those wars they not they not going either.

- 1:06:59Speaker 7: Man, it was light skin all over the flow. They

- 1:07:09Speaker 9: He was hitting.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Steph Curry. He was Clay Thompson like.
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: Gary Raymond was balling Draymond. He was balling like he

- 1:07:44Speaker 11: come on, come on, we.

- 1:08:07Speaker 2: never heard nobody.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: Cold is high climbing.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: It's just Yoka. You know, he held a ball player.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Just ain't fun to watch.
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: Yeah, because it's like all his moves and slow motion, like.
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: You can't do a damn thing about it.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Yeah, like he's shooting threes.
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: Hey dog, hey dog, that's what the league used to
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: be like, though your long, long, long time ago when
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: the George Michael was just all white people.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: When the NBA first started with.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no no no, Pete Nervis came
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: with it.
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: Yeah, mister Pete, he bought another level of basketball to
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: the game. Okay, I'm talking about before his error before, Yeah,
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: when it was just all white.
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: All right, Thank you, Junior, Thank you so much for
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: sports talk. Coming up at the top of the hour, Steve,
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: a guy on social media, needs your advice, He says,
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: do we really have to share everything? We'll talk about
- 1:09:19Speaker 8: it right after this. You're listening.
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: All right, So Steve Levaugh on Facebook rights. After three months,
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: the woman I've been dating and I made things quote
- 1:09:31Speaker 8: unquote official, and now she's officially my girlfriend. With that,
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: it turns out has come a new policy where she
- 1:09:40Speaker 8: insists on total honesty, and now she's officially my girlfriend.
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: With that, it turns out has come a new policy
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: where she insists on total honesty and that we share everything.
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: After a couple of weeks of this, I can officially
- 1:09:57Speaker 8: say I'm not a fan. It's not because I'm hiding anything,
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: but I don't think it's unreasonable to a have some
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: things that are just for me and be not be
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: pressured into explaining everything I do in the course of
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: a day and then be accused of intentionally omitting details
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: to hide potentially underhanded activities. This feels like a serious
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: red flag. Any thoughts it is a red flag.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: It is a serious one.
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: Here's a woman who has been betrayed, who wants an
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: honest relationship, as do most women. There's nothing wrong with that,
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: but now you have to prove it every step of
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: the way. That's going to be if you think it's
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: a problem. Now, sir, you just got in this. You're
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: not supposed to share everything. Women don't share everything, nor
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: should you share everything. Some of the stuff you have
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: to take to the grave we have done and some
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: things we have thought and saying that have to go
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: to the grave. There is no way, dog, It's just
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: don't even worry about that now. All this question you're there.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: When you omit stuff, it means you're lying in all
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: like this, dog, this is red flags for days. She's
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: not gonna stop. She's been beat up in the past,
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: and now you have to pay for these other men's
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: past transgressions. It's called baggage. I know there are people
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: out there that saying no, no, no, she's just trying no, no, no, no,
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: no too much. Look, it's just too much the way
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: he's describing it. And no, we having these conversations, these
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: in depth conversations about everything you do and everything you've
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: done in the past, and you don't have.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: To do that, you know. Come on in here, let
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: me see your phone this evening, Come on in here,
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: let me see it.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Now, what's your past code?
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: Know, hey, don't listen to me, Hey dog, not three
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: months in, don't don't don't give her that cold three
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: months in because you still you're still burying stuff in
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: the backyard right now, you know, see and there, plus
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: you don't even know the stuff they could come up.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: So you got to wait because you have a history,
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: as does everybody.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: So you got to be with a.
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: Person for a long time before this stuff starts seeping out,
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: because it's the stuff you done forgot about, and it's
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: some stuff you think is over and covered that ain't
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: covered yet, so you have to wait it out.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: You know, stuff comes back.
- 1:12:39Speaker 7: Man, put your thumb print on here and open his phone.
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: Let me look at your face, ID why you sleep
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: right right?
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: I think we have time for one more. Steve carry
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: on Facebook says, my boyfriend and I have been in
- 1:12:59Speaker 8: a long distance relationship since he moved to several states
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: this this earlier this year. We try to stay connected
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: through video calls and texts, but it's not the same
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: as being together in person. It's starting to take a
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: toll on both of us. I miss him, and I
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: know he misses me too, and I feel like we're
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: growing apart. How can we keep romance alive in a
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: long distance relationship? How can I make our visits more
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: special when we do get to see each other.
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: Well, you know, the videos gonna have to be more
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: explicit and the visits gonna have to be more often.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: That's all I got to tell you.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Next question, Oh that's it.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: You got to hope this stuff don't get out in
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: that damn cloud whatever that is. No videos, it's gonna
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: have to be more explicit, so cause it's gonna have
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: to be more often.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: Oh wow, all right, Okay, yeah, we learned something.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: That's all to it.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: Okay, So ain't nothing to it but to get busy,
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: all right, all right, somebody else coming.
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: Up At about twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this,
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: you're listening.
- 1:14:20Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: Well, representation matters. Did you guys see offset when he
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: took his beautiful little daughters, such little princesses, Culture and
- 1:14:32Speaker 8: Kalia to the premiere of Disney's Little Mermaid. They look
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: so cute and just sweet as pie. We love a
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: girl's heartwarming reaction when they met. Actress Hallie Bailey, who
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: plays the film's Mermaid, Arial it was so adorable. Hallie
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: Bailey told multiple medial media outlets, this is a moment,
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: especially for all the beautiful babies to be able to
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: see a reflection of themselves. She says, I'm just honored
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: to be a part of this and be one of
- 1:15:02Speaker 8: the princesses. Of course, the Little Mermaid is in theaters
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: May twenty six. You know, she made history, Hallie Bailey.
- 1:15:09Speaker 8: Would you say, Tommy, they were dressed, Yeah, they were
- 1:15:13Speaker 8: so cute.

- 1:16:52Speaker 7: I'm gonna take my chance with that bet. Yeah, I'm
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: gonna take my chance.

- 1:17:16Speaker 8: Yeah, all right. Would you rather have sex only with
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: the first person you did it with or would you
- 1:17:24Speaker 8: rather have sex only with the last person you did

- 1:17:28Speaker 3: Yeahsily, easily with the last person.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: Okay, all right, yeah the first one. They don't look
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: the same. I saw the first one had a show
- 1:17:43Speaker 5: one night.
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: What happens to remember me?
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: You did remember her?
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I knew exactly who it was, Okay, but back in
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: the day, though, boy.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: I'm talking about it was the best I could do.
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: Well, and obviously she had told a group of girls
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: about it. I know him, all smiling and stuff. You know,
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: I wasn't even really famous there. Okay, it was just
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: like twenty years fifteen years later. But nor didn't men
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: say that fifteen years had.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Woe on her?
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: All right?
- 1:18:23Speaker 8: Would you rather have amazing sex it last only forty
- 1:18:26Speaker 8: seven seconds, or would you rather have average sex that
- 1:18:30Speaker 8: last about ten minutes.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Yep, give me that ten minutes.
- 1:18:33Speaker 8: Average ten minutes.
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 1:18:35Speaker 5: Turned that into summer. I'd be like the dude in
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: the Strawberry Letter. I'd get to holler and act like
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: his So all I need is team on the regular.
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: I'm not ten minutes that's enough time.
- 1:18:50Speaker 7: I ain't no, but but we know what we're doing.
- 1:18:53Speaker 7: What then here and get it over with it? You
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: counted if you ain't got nothing to do?
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: Yeah, damn, where's the sexiness?
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: Why?

- 1:19:17Speaker 8: from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: You're listening hard Morning Show.
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:19:27Speaker 8: day on this Thursday. It's been a good day. We've
- 1:19:31Speaker 8: had fun today, Steve, how you feeling about today?
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: Pretty good?
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: You know, I feel pretty good.
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: I wanted to say something, especially since this closing time. Yeah, I.
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: Got a lot of positive feedback from the podcast I
- 1:19:53Speaker 5: did on club sayshe with the Shannon Shop it was
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: like ninety ninety nine percent positive, really really a lot
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: of positive feedback. I just happened to be on social
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: media yesterday and somebody was talking about it, and he
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: was upset how we have the audacity to try to
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: tell other men how to act in their family situations.
- 1:20:22Speaker 5: And it kind of threw me off a little bit, because, man,
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: everything he was saying or stuff that me and Shannon
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: was on that talking about, and he was upset with
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: the fact that y'all two can't tell me how to
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: be a man, you know. He said, I don't know
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: why a man isn't a man if he ain't taking
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: care of a woman somewhere or taking care of his
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: kid somewhere.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: He said, what do that have to do with manhood?
- 1:20:56Speaker 5: He was saying that he just didn't understand that, and
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: it was alarming to me because I've noticed there are
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: some men who really do feel that way, and how
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: you feel that way. I really, really, really just don't
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: understand how you can take the responsibility of being a man.
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: I'm sorry, man, we just don't have too many ways
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: to define ourselves as men.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: But that's one of the ultimate ways.
- 1:21:24Speaker 5: Now. I'm not saying if you don't have a family,
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: you're not a man. That's not what I'm saying. But
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: if you want the totality of what real manhood is,
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: when you really up in it, man, when you are
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: really addressing the total aspects of what manhood is, start
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: taking care of a family, Start being responsible for somebody,
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: Start having some people depending on you, counting on you,
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: and you showing.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Up for them over and over and over and over
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: and over. That's what it is.
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: Man. I'm sorry, and I'm sorry that you didn't read
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: at something somewhere or you done got into something something
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: where and you've been missing led about what this thing
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: called manhood is. I'm sorry man that maybe your father
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: wasn't there teaching you the right way. But because that's
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: the case, man, it don't mean that those of us
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: that know the way can't share the way.
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry, man, but I'm really not sorry, because I
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: stand on it.
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: You can get a record deal, you can get a contract,
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: you can get a great job, and you can be
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: a successful human being and a successful man.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: That's not what I'm saying.
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: But if you want to really get into manhood, talk
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: to somebody that's raising a family. Talk to somebody that's
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: dropping them kids off the school. Talk to somebody that's
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: trying to put it together with a woman. Talk to
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: somebody that's got a family. Talk to somebody who loves
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: somebody more than they love themselves.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Talk to that person.
- 1:23:04Speaker 5: You really, really, really gonna get a real understanding of
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: what manhood really is, because you don't know until you
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: strap on all of it, man, and come on in
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: here and try to make it happen.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: I'm talking to all the men to get up and
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: go to work every day.
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: That drive trucks, that work in factories and plants, that
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: work at the post office, down at the machine shop.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: The cats is working in corporate America, trying to climb
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: that letter. The people that went to college and got
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: degrees and trying to better themselves. I'm talking to the
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: cats that's out here that's just getting it, man. I'm
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: talking to the men who have taken on the responsibility
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: on some man like.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: That little dude that was on the line the.
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: Other day, walked away from his responsibility talking about it.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: If I don't like no woman, what I care about
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: them kids?
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: For?
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: What kind of ignorant ass mess is that you're responsible for?
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Them children.
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: Man, I don't care if you and the woman don't
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: work out them your kids. Yeah, but she making that
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: hard for me to see him and all that. That's
- 1:24:03Speaker 5: why I'm just out. I ain't sending you nothing if
- 1:24:06Speaker 5: I can't see mine. Oh man, you stupid though. No,
- 1:24:10Speaker 5: you so wrong, You so wrong on so many levels.
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: And me and Shannon Sharp and nobody else wanna let
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: you get away with this one. That ain't how we
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: out here doing it.
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: We men, and it's a lot of men hearing my
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: voice right now know exactly what I'm talking about. And
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: you notice I ain't said nothing about economic status, because
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: being a real man and a father and a dad
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: ain't got nothing to do with your economic status. He
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: got to do with your effort and your input and
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: your and your and your actions towards your family, your children,
- 1:24:40Speaker 5: your girl. It's your responsibility, man, it's your duty, it's
- 1:24:46Speaker 5: your flat out honor. You know you don't get to
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: skip this. I'm sorry, man, you just don't. I don't
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: give a damn what your records say. You don't get
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: to skip this, man.
- 1:24:59Speaker 7: You know this.
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: We had a picture of all set taking his kids
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: to the daughter to taking his kids to the premiere
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: of The Mermaid And did you see that picture?
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: Man, This is a huge hip hop artist.
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: Has he made mistakes, Yeah, we all make mistakes, but
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: he trying to get it right.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: He trying to get it right for Cardi. He trying
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: to get it right for them girls. He doing the
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: right thing man, taking his daughters to see them.
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: That's what it is, man, And I'm sorry that you
- 1:25:30Speaker 5: don't like it, and I'm sorry that you don't understand it,
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: but that's your damn job. So buckle up, man and
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: do your damn duty because it is your duty and
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: it is an honor. And congratulations to all the men
