- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing? Uh, I shure, Well, a good morning every
- 2:05Speaker 1: about it. You're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:09Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:13Speaker 1: here we go today, folks. Uh this is a good
- 2:16Speaker 1: one because today I want to share with you something
- 2:20Speaker 1: that that affects every living soul, and that one thing
- 2:27Speaker 1: is your attitude. This affects everyone. It is your attitude.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You know. I don't know if anyone's ever told you,
- 2:42Speaker 1: but I mean many of you who listen know this.
- 2:45Speaker 1: But there are a lot of people who don't understand
- 2:49Speaker 1: a positive attitude can bring about a change. A positive
- 2:56Speaker 1: attitude can bring about a change. Well, now here we
- 2:59Speaker 1: go with and they says, well, Steve, what you mean
- 3:01Speaker 1: if I'm just positive being changed? My mama gonna what
- 3:04Speaker 1: me being positive got to do with that? Okay, Now
- 3:07Speaker 1: listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve,
- 3:14Speaker 1: I hear you saying that, But they didn't fired me.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So now what does my having a positive attitude have
- 3:20Speaker 1: to do with the fact that they fired me? Well,
- 3:24Speaker 1: one more time, A positive attitude can bring about change?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Or Steve, I set up in here and gave eight nine,
- 3:35Speaker 1: twelve years of my life to this man and he
- 3:38Speaker 1: just he cheated on me and walked out. Now what
- 3:41Speaker 1: does me being positive have to do with him cheating
- 3:44Speaker 1: on me? How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we
- 3:48Speaker 1: go again. A positive attitude can bring about change. And
- 3:53Speaker 1: listen to the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and
- 3:58Speaker 1: the change that and happen starts. This is the start.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It starts within you. See, life is tempera cent. What
- 4:11Speaker 1: happens is what you do about what happens. Okay, you
- 4:14Speaker 1: gave twelve years of your life to this man. He
- 4:17Speaker 1: cheated and left you. Hold in the bag, the kids
- 4:20Speaker 1: and everything. Now, what does being positive have to do
- 4:24Speaker 1: with changing that? Or they came in and they fired you.
- 4:26Speaker 1: You lost your job that you was a stellar performer at.
- 4:30Speaker 1: But now, how does you having a positive attitude, how
- 4:33Speaker 1: does that change things for you? So far, you can
- 4:37Speaker 1: use any example. Here's what happens when you have a
- 4:43Speaker 1: positive attitude. What it produces within you is a positive
- 4:49Speaker 1: approach to life. And when you have a positive attitude
- 4:53Speaker 1: and a positive approach to life, it causes you to
- 4:58Speaker 1: be optimistic, have a positive out look, to expect things
- 5:05Speaker 1: to eventually turn around, and and and and and turn
- 5:08Speaker 1: into a positive That's very important because as the law
- 5:11Speaker 1: of attraction comes into play, if you think positive thoughts,
- 5:17Speaker 1: you attract positive things. If you think evil thoughts, you
- 5:22Speaker 1: attract evil to you. You know, if if you want
- 5:27Speaker 1: for nothing, then nothing comes your way. If you want
- 5:30Speaker 1: for positive attitude, if you want for positive results, if
- 5:33Speaker 1: you want for a great outcome, that's what you attract
- 5:36Speaker 1: to you. The change will begin within you. So let's
- 5:40Speaker 1: take the man that walked out your life and left
- 5:43Speaker 1: you hold in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay,
- 5:48Speaker 1: two things have happened as positive here. Number one, you've
- 5:51Speaker 1: rid it yourself of someone who was obviously going to be,
- 5:55Speaker 1: if not already been toxic in your life because you
- 5:59Speaker 1: many useless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings, uneasiness, not
- 6:04Speaker 1: sure insecurity. You've been going through it with this person,
- 6:08Speaker 1: whoever they are. Number One, that person has been released
- 6:12Speaker 1: from your life. Number Two, it allows you now to
- 6:16Speaker 1: have the someone who will treat you just the way
- 6:19Speaker 1: you want to be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's
- 6:23Speaker 1: the optimistic way. That's when you're a positive person. You
- 6:26Speaker 1: see the positive in things that happened to you instead
- 6:29Speaker 1: of burying yourself under the horse, wrong with it, old
- 6:33Speaker 1: woe is me? Now, concept see a positive attitude. When
- 6:37Speaker 1: they came in there and they fired you and let
- 6:39Speaker 1: you go, Could this not have been just the opening
- 6:44Speaker 1: you needed to finally start on a new career path
- 6:48Speaker 1: that you've been talking about doing anyway? Could it possibly
- 6:51Speaker 1: be a brand new chance for you to get the
- 6:54Speaker 1: dream job or dream career of your choice. Could it
- 6:58Speaker 1: not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for you to
- 7:03Speaker 1: finally finally do something about that gift, about that talent
- 7:08Speaker 1: that God gave you, that thing that you love to do.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Could it not be the perfect time for you to
- 7:13Speaker 1: pursue that But if you don't have a positive attitude,
- 7:17Speaker 1: then you lay there all they're finna come get in
- 7:20Speaker 1: my house. Oh what I'm gonna do now? All this
- 7:23Speaker 1: unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when it's unemployment run out?
- 7:27Speaker 1: What am I gonna do? Then I won't have nothing?
- 7:30Speaker 1: And you old woe is me until you become old
- 7:34Speaker 1: woe is me. But if you take it from the
- 7:36Speaker 1: positive approach, some amazing things can happen in your life.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I will tell you on a personal note, that's some
- 7:44Speaker 1: of the most some of the best changes, some of
- 7:47Speaker 1: the biggest moments in my life came after a loss.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Some of the best things that's ever happened to me,
- 7:54Speaker 1: Some of the biggest moments that I've accomplished in my
- 7:56Speaker 1: entire career came after a loss. So I don't want
- 8:01Speaker 1: to go down on the list, but boy, I could
- 8:03Speaker 1: tell you. Let me let me tell you something. When
- 8:04Speaker 1: they didn't want me on the radio anymore in l A,
- 8:08Speaker 1: when they didn't, when they were it was sick of
- 8:10Speaker 1: the way I did radio out there, and they wanted
- 8:12Speaker 1: me gone. And on May two thousand and five, when
- 8:19Speaker 1: my did When? When? When? When my deal was done?
- 8:23Speaker 1: With the beat out in l A. Okay, look what
- 8:28Speaker 1: happened though, y'all was gone in May. But in September
- 8:32Speaker 1: nineteenth I started to Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'm now sixty some cities, you see. But I didn't
- 8:41Speaker 1: go old. Woe was me? I said, Okay, God must
- 8:46Speaker 1: have something else from me then, because if he didn't
- 8:48Speaker 1: remove me from this, there must be something else. Same
- 8:51Speaker 1: thing can happened when you lose and you and you
- 8:54Speaker 1: and you break up in a relationship, Same thing can
- 8:56Speaker 1: happen to you. You never know the one God God
- 8:59Speaker 1: for you that he you go, here you go again.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Now you get put into a situation with somebody treat
- 9:04Speaker 1: you just the way you want to be treated, provide
- 9:06Speaker 1: you with a whole lot of aspects of your life
- 9:08Speaker 1: you knew nothing about prior to that. But you gotta
- 9:11Speaker 1: stay positive. You gotta keep looking out, You gotta keep
- 9:14Speaker 1: looking to God. You gotta keep believing that there's gotta
- 9:17Speaker 1: be something better for you. That God has a plan
- 9:20Speaker 1: and it don't coincide with your plan oftentimes, but His
- 9:24Speaker 1: way is the best way. Oh. I have not liked
- 9:27Speaker 1: it many times, man, Oh man, I've had people scathed
- 9:32Speaker 1: me I'm talking about man, people, I ain't done nothing too.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I don't even know where it's coming from. Just go
- 9:36Speaker 1: public and just try to bury me. When they got through, Man,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I can't tell you what happened to me because I
- 9:44Speaker 1: ain't raised my voice back. I didn't. I didn't get
- 9:46Speaker 1: into that negative lane with them. I took the high road.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And when you take the high road, God got something
- 9:52Speaker 1: for you. So all of you out there are struggling,
- 9:54Speaker 1: that's being hated on, that you feel like your life
- 9:57Speaker 1: and took some turns that you have no control over.
- 9:59Speaker 1: If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook,
- 10:05Speaker 1: that that that always thinking, God got me, no matter
- 10:09Speaker 1: what happened to me, some amazing things that's going can
- 10:12Speaker 1: will happen in your life. It's a fact. I don't
- 10:15Speaker 1: know how it works that way. I just know that's
- 10:17Speaker 1: what it is because as a funny thing existing, it's
- 10:21Speaker 1: called faith, and it's the belief in things that you
- 10:23Speaker 1: cannot see. And man, if you just hang on to that,
- 10:27Speaker 1: sometimes sometimes it's all you got. Though you understand what
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm saying, Sometimes sometimes you don't really know what it is.
- 10:33Speaker 1: But that's what faith is is when you don't know
- 10:35Speaker 1: what it is. You just kind of you. You just
- 10:38Speaker 1: kind of believe it, but you believe in it's something
- 10:41Speaker 1: you can't case see no way out. I don't see
- 10:43Speaker 1: how they're gonna get ma lettate you something. I've been there.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I got in some trouble in two thousand and eight. Man,
- 10:48Speaker 1: that was good when I found out about it. Anybody
- 10:51Speaker 1: else would have been gone from him. But I ain't
- 10:55Speaker 1: let it bury me. I kept talking to God about it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Me and Margree got together. We kept talking to God
- 11:00Speaker 1: about it. God got me through. It took a little
- 11:03Speaker 1: bit longer than I wanted it too, but boy, he
- 11:05Speaker 1: bought me through though, and he bought me and my
- 11:07Speaker 1: wife through and my family through. And because I just
- 11:10Speaker 1: kept that faith, I kept that positive outlook. Positive attitude
- 11:14Speaker 1: is everything, y'all. So get off the old wol is
- 11:17Speaker 1: Me negativity train because it ain't gonna take you nowhere
- 11:19Speaker 1: but down and get get your outlook up. If you
- 11:23Speaker 1: change your attitude, you change your altitude. Altitude is determined
- 11:28Speaker 1: by your attitude. How high you go, how big you become,
- 11:32Speaker 1: how far you go. It all depends on how you think.
- 11:35Speaker 1: It all depends on what type of attitude you got
- 11:39Speaker 1: ain't no, ain't no very very successful, super negative people.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It just doesn't coincide the way if you see that
- 11:47Speaker 1: something happened to him along the way, and don't worry.
- 11:49Speaker 1: You ain't gonna worry about it because you ain't gonna
- 11:50Speaker 1: see him long because you can't stay up there like that.
- 11:53Speaker 1: This is too hard, all right, that's the conversation. You're
- 12:00Speaker 1: eighteen minutes after the hour. Welcome to the ride, y'all,
- 12:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show in the Business. Welcome, hey, folks,
- 12:15Speaker 1: the friendly skies. Yeah, bust tickets about to go up. Course, Yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 1: this man, this is crazy. The beauty of this is
- 12:36Speaker 1: that it was all captured on film. There is no
- 12:40Speaker 1: denying what happened to this guy. Uh, almost everybody sides
- 12:51Speaker 1: with the passenger. Of course, there's a couple of butt holes,
- 12:54Speaker 1: you know. Just one lady said on TV or why
- 12:56Speaker 1: didn't you just comply? Right there? I'll just be going, wow,
- 13:02Speaker 1: comply for what they asked for volunteers. They didn't get anybody.
- 13:08Speaker 1: So then they picked four people, four people and said
- 13:14Speaker 1: y'all get you and stuff and come home. He said,
- 13:16Speaker 1: I can't do that. I can't do that. But I
- 13:21Speaker 1: loved it when the police thought he said, when he
- 13:24Speaker 1: was taking him out of his seat, he fell. Yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 1: that's to one. I like he hit his He had
- 13:31Speaker 1: his face on the arm rest, arm rest when his
- 13:35Speaker 1: face was all bloody when he came back on the plane,
- 13:37Speaker 1: because when they were dragging him out, you didn't see
- 13:39Speaker 1: all that blood he was hollering. Though he was hollering hell,
- 13:47Speaker 1: he did get bloody when they pulled him out. If
- 13:49Speaker 1: he watched the tape, he busted his mouth on the
- 13:52Speaker 1: other people's armrests across the aisle. Oh man, see, I
- 13:57Speaker 1: know how behind whipping sloop, I had all them you've
- 14:03Speaker 1: been you've been drug like that cop would have called
- 14:06Speaker 1: hell dragging me. I ain't going, oh damn, trying to
- 14:12Speaker 1: shoot me video. Probably what they would have done if
- 14:17Speaker 1: it was a black man. Shots fired, shots fire, Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 1: probably what they would have done. Yeah. What did the
- 14:24Speaker 1: CEO say? I mean, he blamed the passenger instead of apologizing.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I mean, come on, now, that was the wrong way
- 14:33Speaker 1: to handle that. He blamed the passenger. Disruptive and belligerent
- 14:38Speaker 1: is what he called the passenger. Passenger was sitting in
- 14:41Speaker 1: a seat, That's what I saw, and don't they usually
- 14:45Speaker 1: take care of this sort of thing before you get
- 14:48Speaker 1: in your seat on the plank. Nobody, you're right in
- 14:54Speaker 1: the gate. They asked for volunteers. Yeah, they asked the
- 14:56Speaker 1: tears before they even get in their seat on the plane.
- 15:00Speaker 1: That was kind of shocking that they did it that way.
- 15:03Speaker 1: And then the officers that pulled them off their unpaid leave. Now. Yeah,
- 15:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing though, If I'm that little man,
- 15:12Speaker 1: I'm so paid, man my retirement and set up my man. Man,
- 15:18Speaker 1: my grandkids gonna be eating off this money. Yeah he
- 15:22Speaker 1: had private Yeah, I ain't gonna do nothing because I'm
- 15:29Speaker 1: buy me a plane with this money. So yeah, I'm
- 15:33Speaker 1: drigging the airplane. Come dreg you off your your private plane.
- 15:37Speaker 1: What's your reaction? I think we should just talk to
- 15:41Speaker 1: people who buy discount tickets, who buy tickets so cheap,
- 15:45Speaker 1: and get the ass whooping. That would be you talking.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Are you there, color? Are you there right here? I
- 15:54Speaker 1: think what they're doing. I think what they do time
- 15:56Speaker 1: to time of what the airline could do is start
- 15:58Speaker 1: going through the log and see who bought their tickets
- 16:01Speaker 1: like you buy yours cheap tickets really really dirt cheap tickets.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Time to come. Time. Let me ask you a question.
- 16:09Speaker 1: What's cheapest ticket You'm about to go somewhere? I bought
- 16:12Speaker 1: a Southwest ticket that was servinified dollars. Why is anybody
- 16:16Speaker 1: flying anywhere for seven? Yeah? And south was a good
- 16:23Speaker 1: get on them. They ain't dragging people off of that.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You just you just got to know your letter and
- 16:29Speaker 1: your number, that's all. Don't get there late. You be
- 16:31Speaker 1: in that seat, you're gonna get that middle. Get the
- 16:35Speaker 1: look down and look down that place all empty middle
- 16:37Speaker 1: roads in the seat that cast seventified dollars the middle. No,
- 16:40Speaker 1: that's just it's just when you book it earlier, Southwest
- 16:44Speaker 1: is open seat. Okay, hold on alright, man, explain it
- 16:47Speaker 1: to me. Okay, So when you book a flight, you'll
- 16:51Speaker 1: say you want to book it around trip, So that's
- 16:53Speaker 1: seven dollars each way. You don't book the ticket for
- 16:55Speaker 1: a hundred and fifty dollars. The thing to do is
- 16:58Speaker 1: to uh buy this thing called early bird. And if
- 17:03Speaker 1: you buy this thing called early bird, you automatically get
- 17:05Speaker 1: a letter A one through thirty. A one through thirty
- 17:09Speaker 1: is who boards the plane first? How how much that
- 17:14Speaker 1: it's not additional it's not additional because what you can do, Tommy,
- 17:19Speaker 1: if you buy that ticket, you can check in early.
- 17:22Speaker 1: You check in early, and that's gonna get you in
- 17:24Speaker 1: the age. That's gonna get you in the A boarding group,
- 17:26Speaker 1: which boards first, then the B boarding group board second.
- 17:30Speaker 1: But if you in that seat, if you didn't see
- 17:32Speaker 1: if you get to the airport later, you didn't check
- 17:34Speaker 1: in the day before, because you know, you could check
- 17:35Speaker 1: in on the airline the day before. If you didn't
- 17:38Speaker 1: check in the day before, you're gonna get to that game.
- 17:40Speaker 1: You're gonna be in the C boarding group. You're just
- 17:41Speaker 1: gonna hold your head down as you know you're gonna
- 17:44Speaker 1: get okay. So you're not gonna get okay. So let
- 17:47Speaker 1: me ask this. You can't say I want an all
- 17:50Speaker 1: or window open, not okay? Alright, alright, that's pretty cool.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I like that Southwest is good. And they're saying I
- 18:01Speaker 1: have flown Southwest befloor before I flew to I think
- 18:05Speaker 1: El Paso, Texas on Southwest, And let me let me
- 18:12Speaker 1: tell you what I did have to do back in
- 18:14Speaker 1: the day when you change planes, you had to go
- 18:17Speaker 1: get your bags and rebook. I mean, yeah, yeah, you
- 18:23Speaker 1: had to go get your bags and get it over
- 18:26Speaker 1: to the other gate and re check in. And then
- 18:30Speaker 1: I'm not lying. No, I'm not lying. When Southwest first started,
- 18:37Speaker 1: if you had a connecting flight, you had to go
- 18:40Speaker 1: get your bags. Oh man, Yeah, because they took all
- 18:45Speaker 1: the bags off. If you're going somewhere else, know your
- 18:48Speaker 1: bag and do you get the same flight at the
- 18:52Speaker 1: same seat on the next flight, or you had to
- 18:54Speaker 1: start that process all over again. I don't remember, but
- 18:59Speaker 1: I said facing some people. Yeah, that's that's what seating.
- 19:05Speaker 1: They called it lounge seating. Steve, You're right, huh, lounge
- 19:10Speaker 1: when other people vomit? Tell you something right now? What nothing?
- 19:15Speaker 1: A loued you about it? Because I said, cross from
- 19:18Speaker 1: a family. When you think of lounge, you think of
- 19:21Speaker 1: sexy and all that, right, none of that. But you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I mean back then, I mean, you know, this is
- 19:25Speaker 1: what I could have forward, So I was cool with it. Tram.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Let me tell what a tramp did me, tan They
- 19:34Speaker 1: weighed my bag. They charged me for that. Well wait, wait,
- 19:37Speaker 1: tell us doing something funny. Alright, United, you got some
- 19:42Speaker 1: explaining to do when we come back from the break.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Something funny with Steve Harvey and its air tran story. Alright,
- 19:49Speaker 1: we'll be back at thirty four after you're listening Steve Harvey.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Thirty four minutes after that hour we come back. I'm
- 19:57Speaker 1: gonna share a true story with you that I at
- 20:00Speaker 1: on air trend that broke my spirit and actually cause
- 20:07Speaker 1: me to want mowing. Like, yes, yes, tran c this
- 20:13Speaker 1: is the reason why you're so big. Yes, I'm blessed. Yes,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I'm blessings. I'm flying air tran. The only ticket I
- 20:29Speaker 1: could get to get out of Chicago, I go up.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I got too many bags. You get one free bag.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Everything else is a charge. So now they had to
- 20:43Speaker 1: pay for these bags because they extra. I ain't got
- 20:46Speaker 1: no problem. I got the money for that. I pay
- 20:48Speaker 1: for the extra bag. Then they weighed my bags, all
- 20:52Speaker 1: three of them was too heavy. I got charged for that.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Then they pick your bag up and they put it
- 20:59Speaker 1: in this little breath and if it don't fit in
- 21:01Speaker 1: the bracket, they charge you for that. So then mine
- 21:08Speaker 1: was so big. The man took out a tape measure
- 21:13Speaker 1: and I got charged every inch over. Oh no, no,
- 21:18Speaker 1: I kid you not man. So I got charged for
- 21:21Speaker 1: too many bags. The weight of the bag, and then
- 21:23Speaker 1: the size of the bag. And then I get on
- 21:26Speaker 1: the plane and then damn first class seat looked exactly
- 21:31Speaker 1: like the coach seat. Boy boy, let me tell you something. Man,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I was steaming the whole flight. But on that flight,
- 21:53Speaker 1: I pulled out my pad and I started read amping
- 21:58Speaker 1: my vision board. First thing, I said, show must be
- 22:06Speaker 1: nice with fly with your legs stretched out. That was
- 22:10Speaker 1: a vision. Then I had a vision of sitting alone.
- 22:16Speaker 1: That was another vision. Then I had a vision of
- 22:20Speaker 1: my my whole left side tucked under this fat man.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Why I won't I don't want his body moisture on
- 22:30Speaker 1: my shirt. So I wrote that down and thus begin
- 22:36Speaker 1: my quest to just really improve my life. I said, Man,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I got to get myself together because this is unacceptable.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Oh man, what no damn food. I had a nerve
- 22:51Speaker 1: as this lady for another apple juice. She listened me,
- 22:55Speaker 1: and you get one alple juice. Ask me this left
- 23:02Speaker 1: foe ounce can out of eight ounce canoe can a minute?
- 23:08Speaker 1: Oh my god. They try to make you open your
- 23:11Speaker 1: luck at you know, in the gate area when you're bad,
- 23:13Speaker 1: I mean, and when you first get there, when your
- 23:16Speaker 1: bags way too much, you have to start taking stuff
- 23:18Speaker 1: out on the floor. Oh that poele mess right there.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I can't bag open. I'm trying to put stuff in him.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Man O, God, I don't have some horrible but but
- 23:39Speaker 1: but it motivated me, It really didn't, you know. And
- 23:44Speaker 1: that's what you do. You know, you just gotta get
- 23:45Speaker 1: sick and tired of being sick and tired. It's like poverty.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I was sick and tired or being sick and tired
- 23:52Speaker 1: or being so I decided that date, now that I'm
- 23:56Speaker 1: sick and tired of being sick and tired or being pop,
- 24:00Speaker 1: I need to do something about this hill. So I
- 24:03Speaker 1: included God in it. I told him what I wanted.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I asked him for it. I believe here, give it
- 24:08Speaker 1: to me. And then I went to work and I
- 24:10Speaker 1: started accomplishing more. Man, all right, well, good Steve, look
- 24:15Speaker 1: at you now, they ain't got to measure your bags
- 24:21Speaker 1: no more. Sitting by yourself and stretched out you measured
- 24:25Speaker 1: the bag for you know, they ain't gonna fit in
- 24:27Speaker 1: that little case the case. I went there, my bag
- 24:32Speaker 1: bigger than the case because they moved my bag to
- 24:36Speaker 1: show me the case that they had the fitting. All right,

- 32:19Speaker 1: to go and put one in. You're listening to the
- 32:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Shown all right. Uh. Last week Pepsi
- 32:29Speaker 1: blew up social media for its tone deaf video featuring
- 32:32Speaker 1: Kendall Jenner. Uh, you know, talking about a PEPSI could say,
- 32:36Speaker 1: just fix all the world's ills? Okay? Um. This week
- 32:41Speaker 1: it's United Airlines on the hot seat. Uh. The video
- 32:45Speaker 1: of a bloodied physician forcibly being ripped from his seat
- 32:49Speaker 1: on the airline has been dominating the news. They have
- 32:52Speaker 1: something in common. United CEO Oscar munyez Or Munos said that,
- 32:58Speaker 1: Uh start wait a minute, United, okay. United CEO Oscar
- 33:05Speaker 1: Munos Munos started in the corporate world at Pepsi. According
- 33:10Speaker 1: to his LinkedIn profile, what Munrio's worked in the Pepsi
- 33:15Speaker 1: financial department. The rap as much as social media acted outraged,
- 33:22Speaker 1: Wall Street yawned and took United stock up one per cent. Steve,
- 33:27Speaker 1: Now you know you have to travel all the time.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Are you flying this weekend? Uh? Well you better not
- 33:32Speaker 1: take United? Okay, I know you have no This is
- 33:42Speaker 1: me and Tommy gonna be flying United with a different attitude.
- 33:44Speaker 1: That's who I wish they would drag me down to
- 33:50Speaker 1: Damn nobody on that flight. We are gonna be volunteered.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Ain't nobody taken off? I got playing pots in my hand.
- 34:02Speaker 1: This plane is gonna be unfly. I got the pilot
- 34:07Speaker 1: steering wheel in my head. Me off, I gotta tie.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I'm tell wing a light. I'm outside hanging on that wind.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I didn't been to wing. I don't do I didn't
- 34:24Speaker 1: threw something in one of them engines. Engines, my nankee
- 34:28Speaker 1: and threw it in one of them engine Start that minute, everybody,
- 34:35Speaker 1: everybody getting off the plane. I told seats up, they
- 34:38Speaker 1: got holes in the flow. Bust it out one of
- 34:43Speaker 1: them windows. Yeah, we got to you have to. You
- 34:47Speaker 1: have to plane ain't flying, no not to do. Yeah,
- 34:51Speaker 1: that's crazy, that's really crazy. The way they did that,
- 34:54Speaker 1: poor man. I mean, the space was all bloody back.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell that toilet out to flow. Yeah, I'll
- 35:07Speaker 1: tell you what. And you know that latch they turned
- 35:10Speaker 1: to lock that big dough when everybody get on the
- 35:12Speaker 1: ever closed in words and told the damn like, ain't
- 35:21Speaker 1: no where in the world we're taken off. Yeah, that's
- 35:24Speaker 1: not on display. We got two hunted volunteers because ain't
- 35:30Speaker 1: nobody going want to fly on this down? I told
- 35:35Speaker 1: him I had told the seat out the cockpit on
- 35:38Speaker 1: the way, the pilot gonna sit get up there, though
- 35:42Speaker 1: he didn't the stuff because I said I was gonna go.
- 35:45Speaker 1: But then I ran straight into the cock pick and
- 35:47Speaker 1: start kicking. They pull you off. You walked like you
- 35:52Speaker 1: just snatched the pilot, which I really can't are like
- 36:00Speaker 1: that guy, How would you be holler? And you'd be
- 36:05Speaker 1: holler and worse than the terrible the way they cheated him.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I'm practiced, my HOLLI yeah, you don't think I'm a
- 36:30Speaker 1: white woman. You're beating a white woman. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 36:40Speaker 1: she's here. Please welcome the lovely miss and trip. Yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 1: good morning, uh morning everybody, This is a trip with
- 36:47Speaker 1: the news. Well, let's started with this. Sando Elementary Elementary
- 36:51Speaker 1: School where a man murdered as a strange wife early
- 36:54Speaker 1: this week and killed himself after critically injuring one student
- 36:57Speaker 1: while killing another is going to be closed for least
- 37:00Speaker 1: the next few days. Counsels have been made available for
- 37:02Speaker 1: both students and staff members. A second child still remains
- 37:05Speaker 1: in critical condition out there. Secretary State Rex Tilson is
- 37:08Speaker 1: in Russia on a mission again Vladimir Putin to stop
- 37:11Speaker 1: supporting the Assad reshime in Syria and light of his
- 37:15Speaker 1: recent deadly chemical attack on that local town. That attack
- 37:18Speaker 1: prompted US strikes on a Syrian air base. Meanwhile, looks
- 37:21Speaker 1: like the Trump administration has got another fire to pilled out,
- 37:24Speaker 1: a real big one, after classified or declassifying some of
- 37:27Speaker 1: the intelligence that was gathered about the attack, with officials
- 37:31Speaker 1: saying a clearly show that Syrian forces deliberately unleashed Saren
- 37:34Speaker 1: gas on their civilians. White House folkesman showing Spicer really
- 37:37Speaker 1: put his foot in it when he tried to compare
- 37:40Speaker 1: the attack by Syria to what Hitler did to the
- 37:43Speaker 1: jew when you come to Saren gas Uh, there was no.
- 37:46Speaker 1: He was not using the gas on his own people
- 37:49Speaker 1: the same way that a shot is doing it. Of
- 37:52Speaker 1: course it's Assad and not a shot. And of course
- 37:54Speaker 1: the Nazis gas millions of Jewish Men, women and children.
- 37:59Speaker 1: And when one would have tried to allow Spicer to
- 38:01Speaker 1: clean it up, he got worse. I think, when you
- 38:03Speaker 1: come to Saren gas Uh, there was no. He was
- 38:06Speaker 1: not using the gas on his own people the same
- 38:09Speaker 1: way that a shot is doing I mean, there was
- 38:12Speaker 1: clearly not in the in the he brought him into
- 38:15Speaker 1: the two um to the Holocaust Center, I understand that,
- 38:18Speaker 1: but I'm saying in the way that the Assad used
- 38:21Speaker 1: him where he went into towns, dropped him down to
- 38:23Speaker 1: innocent into the middle of towns. Of course, the Holocaust
- 38:26Speaker 1: was not a center. It was a horrific genocide. It
- 38:29Speaker 1: was not a center of building a place. It wasn't that.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Spicer later issued a statement saying that in no way
- 38:34Speaker 1: was he trying to lessen the horrendous nature of the Holocaust.
- 38:37Speaker 1: The n Frank Center, though it was calling for Spices
- 38:39Speaker 1: firing for engaging in what it says is Holocaust denial.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Essentially Not Airlines says it takes full responsibility for dragging
- 38:45Speaker 1: an unwilling passenger off that Kentucky bound flight from Chicago
- 38:48Speaker 1: on Sunday. The incident, captured on video and seeing around
- 38:51Speaker 1: the world, continues to cause outrage, especially since the airline's
- 38:55Speaker 1: officials waited two full days before offering an unqualified apology
- 38:58Speaker 1: to the middle aged man who was dragged off, Bloody
- 39:01Speaker 1: and everything Kentucky TV station says he was dr David
- 39:04Speaker 1: Dow remained hospitalized. Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition is going to
- 39:08Speaker 1: be demonstrating outside United Hub Edo here later this morning.
- 39:12Speaker 1: And today is National Barbershop Quartet Day. So shape the
- 39:18Speaker 1: shake the sleep from your eyes. Mr Sandman. Now back
- 39:22Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, thank you Ms Anne.
- 39:25Speaker 1: We really had some good calls this week, so we
- 39:27Speaker 1: wanted to extend this question. Have you ever dated a
- 39:32Speaker 1: co worker or your boss? That's the question. Did you
- 39:35Speaker 1: keep the relationship hidden or did other people at the office.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Now give us a call eight seven seven Steve. You're
- 39:42Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Eighteen minutes after Now,

- 40:35Speaker 1: not He's not gonna steal my joy to day. Listen.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Today the block is get ready for Friday's fish fry.
- 40:43Speaker 1: You're supposed to have a fish fry on Friday. You
- 40:45Speaker 1: know that, don't you? Oh? Good Friday? God alright, So
- 40:50Speaker 1: get all of the trimmings that you need. Um. I
- 40:52Speaker 1: like the prints you fresh frides, you know, the one
- 40:54Speaker 1: with the crinkles. They gotta get that. And then you
- 40:56Speaker 1: have to have some cold slom. But I don't tell.
- 41:00Speaker 1: But I do catfish, I do red snapper, I do
- 41:05Speaker 1: red fish, and I do grouper. Those are the fishes
- 41:09Speaker 1: of the fishes in my world. Grouper, red snapper, red fish,
- 41:15Speaker 1: m um, catfish. And no we're not doing any TILLOPPI
- 41:23Speaker 1: very well. Those are the fish you want to make
- 41:26Speaker 1: sure that you actually season your fish correctly. Salmon does
- 41:33Speaker 1: not have any all of it. You don't use the
- 41:34Speaker 1: ellis silent, but go ahead. It's salmon. But I'm not
- 41:38Speaker 1: I'm not trying to correct you, but I'm just it
- 41:39Speaker 1: just sounds so crazy when you said that. We put
- 41:41Speaker 1: that all. He's right. It ain't nobody frying no salmon.
- 41:47Speaker 1: But what they do that is salmon croquette. That's Norwegian
- 41:55Speaker 1: salmon is the worst food in the world. Norwegian salmon
- 42:00Speaker 1: is the worst food in the world. Okay, all right,
- 42:03Speaker 1: very very unsafe and very very toxic. Okay, so you're
- 42:07Speaker 1: up on your fish. That's what I just want you
- 42:12Speaker 1: to study on Norwegian salmon, and they're not. It's not good.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Back to the fish fry, ok I like Flag grouper though.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Group it's good. Group. Group is very very good group. Junior,
- 42:28Speaker 1: You got the really man hasn't lived. He hasn't lived.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Are y'all coming to my fish fry? That's how I
- 42:36Speaker 1: wanted some. Back to the flag group, you say, is
- 42:40Speaker 1: it the best? I know you're not gonna do this. No, no, no, no,
- 42:47Speaker 1: not in the middle of the You're not gonna have

- 46:17Speaker 1: party do you belong to? Any political party? Okay? Did

- 47:48Speaker 1: really give a damn he in now nothing I can
- 47:52Speaker 1: do about it. So that's why I said, I don't

- 50:58Speaker 1: food what you got I gotta for the choir director.
- 51:02Speaker 1: The choir director, stay out of the church, if you
- 51:08Speaker 1: if that's that's the choir to recognize if you want
- 51:11Speaker 1: to talk into present. It's it's ment of the music.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Now you know they changed music something choa direct He Hello,
- 51:28Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Lorenzo. Lorenzo played speaking as calling Hi.
- 51:34Speaker 1: This is UH. I'm Bernard. I'm giving your call on
- 51:37Speaker 1: behalf of Missionary Baptist Church and UH doing a follow up.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Actually you you've you've been the choir director there right
- 51:48Speaker 1: for what is it close to six years now five
- 51:51Speaker 1: and a half years? Okay, And for my understanding, you're
- 51:55Speaker 1: doing a great job. Everyone seems to love what you're
- 51:57Speaker 1: doing on Sunday mornings, which is definitely a blessing for
- 52:00Speaker 1: the entire congregation. Right. So what I was giving you
- 52:04Speaker 1: a call on is there seems to be a bit
- 52:06Speaker 1: of discrepancy with some of the antics that is going
- 52:10Speaker 1: on when you are directing the choir on Sunday mornings.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Say again, now, no no, come no, come again? You
- 52:18Speaker 1: said as well, some of the members. Who are you?
- 52:22Speaker 1: Once again? I said, my name is Bernard, and I'm
- 52:24Speaker 1: actually calling on behind. What's your last thing, sir? I'm
- 52:29Speaker 1: not I'm not actually a member of UH, but I've
- 52:32Speaker 1: been asked to give you a call and and bring
- 52:35Speaker 1: some things to your attention and and and deliver the
- 52:37Speaker 1: news that the Church would like for you to have. Okay,
- 52:40Speaker 1: what news that? Well, let me let me get back
- 52:43Speaker 1: to what I was. I was stating that some people
- 52:45Speaker 1: in the congregation are actually having a problem with your
- 52:48Speaker 1: antics when you're directing to quy uh different things that
- 52:51Speaker 1: they're not happy with. It is a sorrowful moment, I
- 52:55Speaker 1: should say for me to have to come to you
- 52:57Speaker 1: and tell you that you know, as of today, with
- 53:00Speaker 1: your Sunday, we're gonna have to um ask you to
- 53:03Speaker 1: step down as the minister of music harm I wants.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Maybe I'm not hearing you correctly. You have a problem
- 53:10Speaker 1: with the Holy Spirit getting the whole of me to
- 53:14Speaker 1: direct the cloud. Well, it's not necessarily, it's not the
- 53:16Speaker 1: Holy Spirit at all. If you can shot all day,
- 53:19Speaker 1: that has nothing to do with it. I guess, just
- 53:20Speaker 1: different antics that you have. You know that the congregation
- 53:23Speaker 1: is just not I need you to be a little
- 53:26Speaker 1: more clear on what you're saying antics. Please tell me
- 53:31Speaker 1: what you're saying. So is it that my half too long?
- 53:35Speaker 1: Is it that I look too cute when I'm in
- 53:36Speaker 1: the claud what? What is it? I'm not I don't
- 53:39Speaker 1: want to hear be that. I want to go take
- 53:41Speaker 1: attack with you. Like I said, I'm not a member.
- 53:43Speaker 1: All I want you to say it. Please say it
- 53:47Speaker 1: your day. They fired me, they fired me today. I
- 53:50Speaker 1: want you to say it. And I want to know
- 53:53Speaker 1: if the path to hide me, why didn't he fire me? Well,
- 53:57Speaker 1: you know it's it's it's kind of like a business,
- 53:59Speaker 1: you know, it's it's um. The higher ups, uh really
- 54:03Speaker 1: really keep their hands cleaning on these type of things.
- 54:06Speaker 1: And there's always someone that has to deliver the message,
- 54:08Speaker 1: you know. And I'm and I and you know what,
- 54:11Speaker 1: and I understand that, But I want you to explain
- 54:13Speaker 1: to me what answering. Please tell me, Please tell me.
- 54:18Speaker 1: So I'm not listen. I'm not gonna sit no no, no, no,
- 54:20Speaker 1: no no no. You call to deliver the news. I
- 54:24Speaker 1: need to know what answering. Okay, are you wearing different
- 54:29Speaker 1: half styles every other Sunday? Is is? Is your hair
- 54:32Speaker 1: just completely different? And to the nut shop, I've ever
- 54:36Speaker 1: said an the morning. I want to look toute, just
- 54:39Speaker 1: like anybody else want to look cute. I'll send the
- 54:40Speaker 1: morning right right. Problem with that? So, like I said,
- 54:44Speaker 1: I'm just a message, I don't have a problem with
- 54:46Speaker 1: what you know. You're doing well. Who has the problem
- 54:49Speaker 1: with everdently? People? Something I'm helping now that I'm looking
- 54:52Speaker 1: better in Okay, let let me go ahead and ask
- 54:56Speaker 1: you something else. Are you wearing blue contact lenses? I
- 55:01Speaker 1: had on greater day? My day, I'm super was great,
- 55:04Speaker 1: So I had on gress tonight when I'm going back
- 55:06Speaker 1: for the music, I'm gonna have my own green. You're
- 55:09Speaker 1: gonna pretty well, sir, you Lorenzo, you were gonna wear
- 55:14Speaker 1: green contact lenses? You damn scared? Okay? Well are they prescribed?
- 55:17Speaker 1: They prescribed if I bought them, Lorenzo, these are the
- 55:21Speaker 1: type of antics that they're talking about. So, y'all, I
- 55:24Speaker 1: want you to see it. I want you to see it,
- 55:27Speaker 1: y'a don't see please said I didn't say it. That's
- 55:32Speaker 1: that's that's that that never was stated, Lorenzo. But you
- 55:35Speaker 1: asked me about my count that you ask for me
- 55:38Speaker 1: at my half right, But I didn't ask you about
- 55:40Speaker 1: anything else though, Lorenzo. Well, I just want you to
- 55:44Speaker 1: get to the point, please, sir, please, So are you
- 55:48Speaker 1: represent the church or what you're an HR department? I
- 55:52Speaker 1: don't understand. I actually speak on behalf of pastor. Okay,
- 55:56Speaker 1: well I tell you what you tell becalled me himself
- 55:58Speaker 1: because I'm gonna show us as musical tonight and I'm
- 56:01Speaker 1: gonna have my green contact on with my green so learnzo.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I'm asking you now not to show up for the
- 56:07Speaker 1: actual musical tonight. I'm sure I'm gonna happen. You definitely
- 56:10Speaker 1: won't be what's going happen for showing up. Y'all gonna
- 56:13Speaker 1: put me at We can't put you out of the
- 56:15Speaker 1: lord towns, but what we You won't be playing or
- 56:18Speaker 1: participating in the music. Y'all trying to crucify me. Ain't nobody.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Nobody's trying to crucify you. I'll try to crucifyy me. Okay,
- 56:25Speaker 1: you know when I'm not gonna go back, and I'm
- 56:28Speaker 1: so cute for all of y'all. That's what the piplem is. Hey, look,
- 56:31Speaker 1: I don't have all day. I'm passing on the message
- 56:34Speaker 1: and that's clear. I'm just letting you understand that your
- 56:36Speaker 1: your job is completely terminated at this point. Is that understood.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I'm coming to the program tonight and I'm gonna turn
- 56:45Speaker 1: that I've been remember that for five and a half
- 56:48Speaker 1: years and we're gonna do it right. I'll let you

- 57:05Speaker 1: just hear what you're saying? You have talk to me?
- 57:09Speaker 1: Y'all pointing fingers at me. So I'm not pointing the

- 59:44Speaker 1: It is subject Get her out of my house, please still,
- 59:51Speaker 1: Shirley and Steve. My problem is I have a lady.
- 59:53Speaker 1: I thought it was perfect for me. Fact is she's
- 59:56Speaker 1: a liar. I'm sorry. Everything that comes out of her
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: mouth is a lie. She will tell me something and
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: then turn around and tell me the same story different.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: She was fired from her job for stealing cigarettes, and
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: on top of that, she exchanged numbers with the guys.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: She saw them too. The manager showed me the video.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: She told me they exchanged names. I caught an old
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: boyfriend bringing her lunch at work. She said he just
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: popped up. Another time, she gave her number to another
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: old boyfriend. She said, she don't know why she did it.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I give her everything she needs, house food, I mean,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I really take care of her. She's getting all sorts
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: of stuff that was ordered from the mail that she
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: says her mother orders for her and the kids. Her
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: mother is barely making ends meet, so how can she
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: afford it? She doesn't have a job. She has two
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: children that I take care of like mine, and I
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: love them to death. I hate to put her out
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: because I know she will take them from house to
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: house and they won't have a stable life. What should
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I do? I did love her, but the lies have
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: hurt that. She has also let the kids tear up
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: my house because she doesn't watch them. Help me, please,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I don't think you need to. I do think you
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: need to cut your losses with this woman. You may
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: love her at this point, but what is that if
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you cannot trust her and she's lying all the time.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: The only worry is about the kids, who you say
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you take care of and love to death. But if
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: you love them, why aren't you disciplining them? Who who's
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: disciplining these children? Why are they being allowed to tear
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: up your house? It just doesn't sound like you're the
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: man in the house. It's your house, but you're letting
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: her and these kids take over. It just doesn't. I mean,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: he's a nice guy, but he needs to step up.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: This is his house. He's got to say something. Put
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: some kind of rules down. Steve, go ahead, No, I'm
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: really serious. It's his house though, he's not acting like
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: a man. He's not planning the children. He's letting her
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: run all over him. Come on, now, the man's problem
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: is what is so obvious in this letter. He didn't
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: pick the bad one. Yeah, this is the woman that
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: other women are upset with him. This woman right here,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: with all the women out there who could use a
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: good man, provide a home, accepting of their children, all
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: of that, give them everything they need. And then she
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: turned her. If you put your funk down late like
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: that one more time in this mike, please continue, Please continue.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: You know I'm not the only one to hurt. If
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I can hear it in my heads, that's that's on
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the radio. Excuse me, thank you, Thomas, Tom Steven, lilym
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: pro like Little White, We're gonna call. You're gonna get
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: a new hip hop man, Steve. Get to the letter.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Back back to the letter. This is not going down
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: on my watch anymore. Let's go. You have thirty seconds.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Oh now I'm your uncle. Now I've been my uncle
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the whole time. I just do my response when we
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: come back. Obviously, me and this boy I got something
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: to settle off their ugly that's me, my PoCA. You
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: want to go off the air with it. Okay, I
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: think we all to do to Tommy the same thing
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: this man ought to do to this woman and these teams.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: We ain't gonna put him out, but at least make
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: them stay the ass on the porch after the break
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: at eighteen After the Hour Letters, Part two of Steve's
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: response to today's Strawberry letter. You're listening to Steve har Uh,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I got part to this letter, can't. Yeah, let's listen
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: to this letter again, this Sherley and Steve. My problem
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: is I have a lady that I thought was perfect
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: for me. The fact is she's a liar. Everything comes
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: out of her mouth is a lie. She would tell
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: me something, then turn around and tell me the same
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: story different. She was fired from a job for stealing cigarettes,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: and on top of that, she exchanged numbers with the
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: guy she sold them to. The manager showed me the video.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: She told me they exchanged names. I caught an old
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: boyfriend bringing her lunch at work. She said he just
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: pop up. Another time she gave a number to another
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: old boyfriend. She said she don't know why she did it.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I give everything she needs, house food, I mean, I
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: really take care of her. She's getting all sorts of
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: stuff that was ordered from the mail, and she says
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: her mother's orders for her and the kids. Her mother
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: barely making ears me, so I can she afford it?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: She doesn't have a job. She has two children that
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I take care of like mine, and I love them
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to death. I hate to put her out because I
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: know she will take them from house to house and
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: they want to have a stable life. What should I do?
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I did love her, but the lies have hurt. She
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: also let the kids tap my house because she don't
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: watch them. Help me, Please, let's start with the day
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: tan up your house. Let's just start at the bottom
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: of the letder right here now. Brother, She letting them
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: tap up the house because she ain't watching them. So
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I'm assuming that this is happening. Why you at work
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: then you come home and the house is to up.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I don't know what to say to you here, man,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: except bro, you gotta put a stop to this. You're
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: not getting anything from this relationship to me, except except
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: this is what I know about men. Her bedroom behavior
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: has got to be absolutely outstanding. This is the only thing, Oh,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I'm telling you, this is the only thing that must
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: be keeping you because it usually does for us. Because, man,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: if you got a woman you thought was perfect for you,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: that lies everything out of her mouth. She got she
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: didn gave exchange numbers with the dude she sold cigarettes too.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: She got an old boyfriend bringing her lunch at work.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: She gave her number to an old boyfriend that she said,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: she don't even know why she did it. She can't
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: even think. Now, she got two kids. I don't know
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: if they're from the same guy, different guy. I don't know. You.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: You have a person here, man who's past keeps coming
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: into play in her presence. She don't let nothing go.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: She gotta due bringing a lunch at work after you
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: provide it with a place to say, housing, food, rent,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: You take care of the kids. You love, a kids
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: like our own. You're doing everything a man can do.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Now you've been hoodwink bamboos. You didn't pick the wrong one.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: The woman is an unapologetic liar. All these good women
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: out here, brother, let me say this to you. It's
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: some great women out here who have children. It's some
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: great women out here that's looking for a good man
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: to step up to the plate and help him out.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: And I know what you're going through because when you say, man,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I don't want to put her out because she ain't
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: gonna do number go from house to house with them kids,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: and they deserve a stable life, and you don't fell
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: in love with the kids. You're providing for him. You're
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: doing everything a man supposed to do. So in that regard, brother,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, you're doing what men do. You
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: are doing what a man is supposed to do. What
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: has thrown you off is you don't understand how you
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: can give a person everything and then they turn around
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: and play you like that. Well, that's because in this
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: world that are just people that are called indecent people,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: and you are sleeping with an indecent person. It's not
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: the fact that she has multiple kids. That's not it.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with that at all. The
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: fact that the matter is she keeps letting her past
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: relationships play into her present relationship with you. And now
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: you gotta suffer the embarrassment of watching this dude bring
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: her lunch to work. You're taking care of her. That's
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: gotta be crazy, man, That has got to be absolutely crazy.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: So if I were you, sir, here's what my co
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: host Shirley said that made a great deal of sense. Dog,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: you need to let her go. You need to let
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: her go and let her go on about her business, because, Dog,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you can find a good woman in a lot of places.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: It's some woman out there who will give you the
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: treatment that you've given to them times till see. See
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the thing that I've learned about women, and and and
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Shirley and Carli you can back me on this one.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: The thing I've learned about women is, Fellas, when you
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: do all this for a woman, really, a real woman,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: a real woman, you can't outgive her. A real woman.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: What she'll give you in return for the for the house,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the food, the loving, the children, What she'll give you
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: in return, you almost can't put into words. And you
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: really can't outgive a woman. Man. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: He needs to step up and be a real man. Now.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: I'm not saying he's not a nice guy or anything,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: but he's got to step up. This is his house.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: And surely I think I understand what you're saying, but
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I think you're phrasing it wrong. He has stepped up,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: he has professed his love for this woman, he has
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: provided for this woman, and he's even willing to protect
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: her by not even putting the kids out on the
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: street because you know they'll be going from house to house.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: He has done everything he can't. Okay, he has a job,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: he works, he provides, he's trying to climb. No, No,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: he's fulfilled his duties as a man. He don't have
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: to step up to be a man. He has to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: step up to put her out and go get you
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: a woman. What I mean back for all that you're
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: doing for this woman right here, that is a woman
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: somewhere with the kids who will appreciate you so much
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: for stepping up and doing all these things because you
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: can't ask a man to do no moment well, speak
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: up for himself. Then now you go what you just
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: need to step up and put out. You're listening Steve, alright, y'all, ms,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: and is up next with this hour's national news. They
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: and gentlemen, cheese, here the lovely miss and trip. Thanks Steve.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Morning everybody at eight thirty eight. That's right, eight thirty
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: eight in the morning, and here's the news. While it
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: looks like the Trump administration has got another fire to
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: put out, this time it's a big one. After declassifying
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: some of the intelligence that was gathered about serious chemical
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: attack on his people, with officials saying a clearly show
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: that Syrian forces deliberately unleash saren gas on their people.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: White House pokes and Seawan Spicy really put his foot
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: in it when he tried to compare the attack by
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Syria to what Hitler did to the Jews. I think
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: when you come to saren gas, uh, there was no
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: he was not using the gas on his own people
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the same way that a shot is doing. I mean,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: there was clearly not in the in the he brought
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: him into the two to the Holocaust Center, and I
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: understand that what I'm saying in the way that the
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Assad used him where he went into towns dropped him
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: down to innocent into the middle of town. Yeah, okay,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: well the Holocaust was in the center. It was a
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: horrific genocide. It wasn't like a building and it's a
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: sad and not a shod and the Nazis gassed millions,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: millions of Jewish men, women and Chowdren. Was genocide? Come on.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: The later issued a statement saying, in no way he
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: was trout. Was he trying to lessen the horrendous nature
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: of the Holocaust. The Anne Frank Center that was calling
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: for spices firing for engaging what they say it's Holocaust denial.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: This is not the first time that the Trump administration
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: has botched a reference to the Holocaust. During Trump's first
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: full week, he may remember, he put out a statement
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: for International Holocaust Remembrance Day and Jews would not even
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: mentioned in the whole statement, and the Trump presidential campaign
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: was also criticized for using images that would considered anti Semitic.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: It is important, however, to note that Donald Trump won
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: a sizeable percentage of the conservative Jewish vote when he
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: ran for president. United Airlines takes a full responsibility for
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: dragging an unwilling passenger off a Kentucky bound fly from
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Chicago on Sunday. Kentucky TV station reports that the man
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: who was pulled off, Dr David Dow, remained hospitalized. Jesse
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Jackson's Rainbow Coalition is going to be demonstrating outside United's
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: hub at O'Hare Airport later on this morning. Meanwhile, the
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Chicago City Council's getting involved with his Aviation Committee, calling
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: on representatives of United and the Chicago Department of Aviation
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: to appear before it tomorrow. Jersey Governor Chris Christie's even
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: calling on the Trump administration to suspend the federal regulation
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: that permits airlines to overbook flights and remove passengers at will.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: So I'll see what happens there. Yeah, okay, Today, by
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: the way, is Holy Wednesday. It's also National drop Everything
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: and Read Day. Certain people say, yeah, maybe this despicer
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: should read something. And of course it's also on it's
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: National Win Day. I mean, you know one can anyways, alright,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: n Show, I'm sorry. Yeah, as usual, all right, listen,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: thank you, miss and is always we're going to the
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: phones when we come back. We're talking about office romances. Slim.

- 1:14:05Speaker 1: miss this call from Slim. We'll be back to what
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: you're listening to, the Steve Harvey Show. All right, coming
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: up next, we are going to the phone. Our question
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: of the week for the second week in a row,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: because it was so good, is about office romance. Have
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: you dated someone in your office? How about your boss? Well,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: when you dated them, was it a secret or did
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: everyone know about it? We'll call us eight seven seven

- 1:14:37Speaker 1: be right after Slim. Alright, we're going to the phone's
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: our office romance question of the week has been extended
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: because it was so hot, just like maybe your office
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: romance on which your coworker or your boss. Did everyone
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: know about it or did you keep it a secred
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: or did you think it was a secret? Callers eight
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: seven seven, Steve, we want to hear about it. Let's
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: go to line to which I can swim out of DC.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: I love the name Slim. Hello, Hello, hey man, So
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: what happened with you down at the office. You're seeing
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: somebody kicked it with him? What happen? Yeah, Steve, but
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: this wasn't really the office, Steve. It was a penetentive steed.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: But she still was my supervivor. H This was that depending. Yeah,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I was locked up. She was a correct and offer,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: but she was my super vival. You know you got
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: to clean up or working to KidSing on some stage. No, no,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: we don't, but you go ahead and tell us. Okay,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna Steven, don't hear man. They're like your boys
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: back in Cleveland. I asked the boys in my neighborhood.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I'm in the d c or and uh, they end
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: up being locked A few of them was locked up
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: with me, Steve and I used to use them to
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: watch out for me. Were men and the lady gone
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: in the mop room, you know? Yeah, yeah, that's where
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: you go down there in the mop room. We're in
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: the mob room. It's a cause and youtuy called the Tommy.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: I know that you. I don't want to upset you.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I don't want to already know when we started talking
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: about some cookies, Thomas, you're gonna jump in there. Yeah yeah, Steve,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: but yeah, man, we the thing it was. Man, I
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: got murdered in there, right, I got murdered too. No,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: I got she had the baby and you I got
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: married and older stee to another lady. Did the lady
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: worked out the lady that got pregnant that she worked
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: up took We really got played out a daughter about now.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: She worked there. She was a correction of but just
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: knocking him down after jail. Huh. I a few of
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: my nurses I had. I was a decent looking dude
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: back then. Plus you know, had a little name in
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: the DC something use a decent dude back then, what
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: what happened? Decent looking dude? He said, Still, that's what
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: I said. Now you used to what happened? What's going
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: on now? I'm still a decent looking dude, Steve. I've
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: just got older, man, that's all. I ain't both fifty three, Steve.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: That's when fifty three sounds like, Yeah, you ain't bad dog. No, No,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I'm still like that, Steve. They still chasing me now, Steve.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Don't get them wrong, but the gentry and when when
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: they put their job on the line, you've got to
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: be doing something. So you were looking like something. Oh
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I understand. Oh you were putting it down. Oh yeah,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I put it down. Like but see when you're locked up,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: it's easy to put it down. Yeah yeah, yeah. They
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: got three towns? Was the man? Somebody gonna appeal to
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: him in there? Well, um, I'll just say something. The
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: question is, have you ever dated a co worker or
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: your boss? Yeah? When you're serving time, you're not on
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: the pay room. No I'm not. She will, but I'm
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: gonna tell you that. Just a kick of those right here.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: The warden, he was a sad thing when I went
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: in there. Okay, he became a ward man. They knew
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: about the relationship Mike. They end up. He pulled me
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: in his office one day and say, look, he's left.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: If you're the man I know you are, I'm give
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: you two options. I'm even gotta five us because I
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: can't have the other officers thinking this can't go around
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: in the jail, or you got to get out of
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: the jail. Which one you're gonna take, I'll say, send
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: me out of the jail man, because she got the income.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: And they sent me out of the jail days later.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: But again, what he did, he put it on my til,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: he put on my chairs. He put it last third day,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: you rock right there. Yeah, you was right there on
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: that same tier for the last third dayn't last third
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: The day was something else vicious, is what he said. Yes,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: that's what's that Holland on the third till. Yeah, but
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: that was that's good. But I got much two months
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: later to see and I had a white outfit on. Man,

- 1:25:15Speaker 1: looked at it that way though. I just looked at
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: it like, hey, I'm here for me. Can you resist
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: all of this? Yeah? Okay, but yeah you ever needed
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: ad work? Um? Well, um, not completely. I mean some
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: things that happened work, Some things have happened in the
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: quiet room, Some things have happened in the changing room.

- 1:26:07Speaker 1: what happened? Excuse me, Steve, what were you saying at
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: the job? He opened talking himself and that's what's going on.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: He's about to get himself in trouble. And I've been
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: listening it all week. So, I mean, these have been
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: some minyitinging calls. So I'm I mean, he man, yours
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: is right in line with it. I'm sure he had
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: to bring up that shed do downtown when I was well,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: this was this was in two thousand six THO, so
