- 1:43Speaker 2: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 2: the water UPO. Come come on, you'll think that.
- 2:00Speaker 6: Yes, uh huh, I sure well, Good morning everybody, y'all
- 2:05Speaker 6: listening to the voice, Come on, digny now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 6: only Steve Harley got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I have something and it so describes how I was living.
- 2:16Speaker 6: It so captures the feelings that I had about beginning
- 2:23Speaker 6: on the pathway of my dreams. It so describes how
- 2:28Speaker 6: I felt when I was about to attempt something. And
- 2:32Speaker 6: I have some striking news for you. It describes often
- 2:36Speaker 6: how I feel still today to a degree. So let
- 2:41Speaker 6: me tell you what that is. Here's an analogy that
- 2:44Speaker 6: I've heard a couple of different ways, but I've kind of,
- 2:49Speaker 6: you know, fixed it around to where I can drink
- 2:51Speaker 6: it better, and I think it fits my personality to
- 2:55Speaker 6: describe it to people best this way. I've talked often
- 2:59Speaker 6: about the urge and see of doing something with your life,
- 3:04Speaker 6: of getting started today, of stopping the procrastination and putting
- 3:08Speaker 6: it off, and waiting on all your ducks to line
- 3:11Speaker 6: up in a row, and waiting until the stars aligned themselves.
- 3:15Speaker 6: If you're waiting on such a thing, you're never gonna
- 3:18Speaker 6: get started. I don't know too many people who can
- 3:21Speaker 6: say that all the ducks just lined up in the row.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Things happen. Even when you get.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Them lined up.
- 3:27Speaker 6: One of the ducks get out of line, or somebody
- 3:29Speaker 6: knock over the domino. Something happens. But here's the point
- 3:33Speaker 6: I'm getting at.
- 3:35Speaker 2: God has.
- 3:38Speaker 6: So many blessings available to you. You who's listening. God
- 3:45Speaker 6: has so many blessings available to you from where you
- 3:50Speaker 6: are right now. I don't care what you've gotten yourself
- 3:55Speaker 6: into or what you've done. God has so many blessings
- 4:00Speaker 6: that he can send your way.
- 4:03Speaker 2: But you have to do something. See a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 2: people just sit.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Around and go man, I don't know. And something always
- 4:11Speaker 6: happening to you. You're always getting a break, You're always
- 4:13Speaker 6: doing this. You always doing man, do nothing come my way?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Listen to me. If nothing ever comes your way. You
- 4:19Speaker 2: know why that is.
- 4:20Speaker 6: It's because you're not doing anything. I promise you you're not.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Here's a deal. God has all these blessings he wants
- 4:28Speaker 6: to send you, but you got to give him something
- 4:30Speaker 6: to work with. Now, come on, God will bless you.
- 4:35Speaker 6: God can touch people's hearts on your behalf. He can
- 4:38Speaker 6: move situations around for you. He can align the stars.
- 4:42Speaker 6: He can set the ducks up in the row. But
- 4:44Speaker 6: align the stars and move people around, and touch people's
- 4:48Speaker 6: hearts and set the ducks up in the row. For
- 4:50Speaker 6: what have you put forth any effort? Have you made
- 4:54Speaker 6: a single step in any direction to do the.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Right thing or go the right way?
- 4:59Speaker 6: That gives him something to put his finger on. Come on, man,
- 5:04Speaker 6: God can only bless you according to your faith. If
- 5:09Speaker 6: you have a little bit of faith, give him that.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Let him work with that. You know, man, I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 2: always start with these speeches you hear in the morning.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Now.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I ain't always had these. I grew to these. I
- 5:19Speaker 2: stumbled my way to these. I messed up my way
- 5:23Speaker 2: to these.
- 5:24Speaker 6: Here, I got it wrong so many times to be
- 5:27Speaker 6: able to sound like I got some sense, I said
- 5:30Speaker 6: it often. Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do you know
- 5:34Speaker 6: how many times I have had to have failed to
- 5:37Speaker 6: have what I have in my head today. I'm telling you, man,
- 5:40Speaker 6: it's a process. People get mad at the process. You
- 5:44Speaker 6: got to do something to give God something to work with.
- 5:47Speaker 6: He'll bless you. But what you want me to bless
- 5:49Speaker 6: If you ain't putting forth any effort, you can get
- 5:52Speaker 6: blessed from whoever you are in your life. Wherever your
- 5:55Speaker 6: starting point is, wherever you find yourself wound up, you
- 6:00Speaker 6: can get it back from there.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 2: done it. I got over.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Man. I learned some things along the way. Because here's
- 6:09Speaker 6: the deal. As long as God keeps waking you up
- 6:11Speaker 6: in the morning, he ain't through with you yet. When
- 6:13Speaker 6: he's done, you're done. But if God still has a
- 6:16Speaker 6: plan for you you wake up in the morning, he
- 6:18Speaker 6: still got some more work for you to do.
- 6:20Speaker 2: You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 6: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 6: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 6: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 6: walk towards him a little bit.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Here's the deal.
- 6:33Speaker 6: I know it's hard for the average person to start
- 6:37Speaker 6: because the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if
- 6:40Speaker 6: I fail, what if I don't get picked? You know,
- 6:43Speaker 6: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 6:46Speaker 6: in to quit my job. Oh man, let me tell
- 6:49Speaker 6: you about that day when I decided that I was
- 6:51Speaker 6: going to be a full time comedian after winning an
- 6:54Speaker 6: amateur night one time. Quitting your job following your dam
- 7:01Speaker 6: going for it despite all the nay says, it's like
- 7:04Speaker 6: stepping off a cliff. It's like actually just walking off
- 7:09Speaker 6: the edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping. Now not really knowing,
- 7:15Speaker 6: but hoping. Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I
- 7:22Speaker 6: stepped off that cliff hoping that my parachute would open
- 7:28Speaker 6: and allow me to drift down.
- 7:31Speaker 2: See.
- 7:31Speaker 6: I've never scott dived before, but I would imagine part
- 7:34Speaker 6: of the thrill. And I don't know this because I'm
- 7:37Speaker 6: not going to sCOD dive to find out. I think
- 7:40Speaker 6: part of the thrill for people is the danger part
- 7:44Speaker 6: of throwing yourself out a plane and how it feels
- 7:47Speaker 6: to be free falling, but the whole time they're free falling,
- 7:51Speaker 6: having this exhilarating over the top moment. You have got
- 7:56Speaker 6: to believe in your heart of hearts, you have got
- 7:59Speaker 6: the hope with everything in you that when you pull
- 8:02Speaker 6: this cord the shoot opens or else this ain't a
- 8:06Speaker 6: good move at all. But you've packed your shoote yourself.
- 8:09Speaker 6: You've taken the lessons, so you go ahead and you
- 8:12Speaker 6: make the leap. Now, the only thing about quitting your
- 8:15Speaker 6: job and following your dream is you ain't really been
- 8:17Speaker 6: trained all that good for this. You done packed your shoot,
- 8:21Speaker 6: but you ain't never opened it before. So I walked
- 8:24Speaker 6: off this cliff, That's what it was like. And you
- 8:26Speaker 6: following your dreamers like you walking.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Off a cliff. Here's the part where people don't never
- 8:32Speaker 2: make the jump.
- 8:33Speaker 6: They see somebody like myself who jumped off the cliff
- 8:36Speaker 6: and the past chute don't open right away, and I
- 8:39Speaker 6: hit a couple of rocks on the way down. I
- 8:42Speaker 6: got my back cut up pretty bad. They see that
- 8:45Speaker 6: three years living in a car, man, he got it
- 8:48Speaker 6: life toe down jumping off that cliff. I ain't jumping
- 8:51Speaker 6: off that cliff. But see, what you don't understand is
- 8:54Speaker 6: you don't know it. But eventually the shoot will open
- 9:00Speaker 6: at the parachute opening part of my life, man, where
- 9:03Speaker 6: the shoote then open and I'm drifting and I'm able
- 9:06Speaker 6: to guide my chute over to Paris and glide.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I've glided over the African and seen what it looked like.
- 9:13Speaker 2: It's a slow ride down.
- 9:14Speaker 6: When the pass chute finally opened or and my back
- 9:17Speaker 6: didn't heel too and the cuts that I had on me,
- 9:20Speaker 6: I remember now I know how to stay away from
- 9:23Speaker 6: the edge. But the Paris chute then opened, and I'm
- 9:26Speaker 6: enjoying my life for the first time. I'm gliding, but
- 9:30Speaker 6: I got hit up against the rock. I can see more.
- 9:32Speaker 6: I get a chance to see more things. I get
- 9:35Speaker 6: to glide and see more parts of the world. I'm
- 9:38Speaker 6: living my dream. Your parachute is going to open, but
- 9:41Speaker 6: I'll tell you one thing for shore, It'll never open
- 9:44Speaker 6: if you don't step off that cliff. You got to
- 9:46Speaker 6: step off that cliff. God to get the pasachute open
- 9:49Speaker 6: for you. But you got to jump, baby. That's the
- 9:52Speaker 6: hard part, ain't it now? Question is the end of
- 9:54Speaker 6: this story right here today when you jumping.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening into the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Ladies in general, may I have your undivided attention please.
- 10:08Speaker 6: Today is the day that the Lord has made. Let
- 10:11Speaker 6: us rejoice and be glad in it. My mama used
- 10:15Speaker 6: to say that to me going out the door to
- 10:16Speaker 6: school every morning, be glad you're alive. Of course, at
- 10:21Speaker 6: twelve years old, it didn't mean that much to me.
- 10:24Speaker 6: But at sixty eight, it clicks, Lord, it clicks. I'm
- 10:30Speaker 6: so glad to be alive. I don't know what's to do. Boy,
- 10:34Speaker 6: talk about rejoice and be glad in it. You can't
- 10:37Speaker 6: be no more happier than me to be here today.
- 10:40Speaker 6: And I got a couple of sick people on the
- 10:41Speaker 6: show that can bear witness to that.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah, No, that's for real.
- 10:47Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, Steve Harvey, Mardyshaw, Shelon Strapberry Colline for real, Mississippi,
- 10:52Speaker 6: Monica Junior and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:57Speaker 2: What's on your mind today?
- 10:59Speaker 7: Man?
- 11:00Speaker 8: You know, I just gonna ask you, man, do you
- 11:03Speaker 8: ever how much of your life do you just want
- 11:05Speaker 8: to put down? If you could just have your life
- 11:07Speaker 8: just some stuff you just want you don't want to
- 11:08Speaker 8: deal with, no more, just just something you said, you
- 11:11Speaker 8: know what, if I could get to do it without
- 11:12Speaker 8: this part? Is that ever cross your mind?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah? You know what?
- 11:18Speaker 6: I wish there was no more of social media. You
- 11:25Speaker 6: know the other thing I wish that was all cameras.
- 11:33Speaker 6: If we could just get back to when they wrote
- 11:36Speaker 6: stories about us and put it in the newspaper. Oh,
- 11:42Speaker 6: I remember when being on the cover of People magazine
- 11:45Speaker 6: meant something. Yeah, I'm on ebbingy yet, Yeah, that's what
- 11:50Speaker 6: it meant something. Man, Lord have mercy, don't mean nothing
- 11:54Speaker 6: no more. If they could just do that, put all
- 11:58Speaker 6: that back. Hell, man, I'm gonna tell you something that's
- 12:02Speaker 6: gonna hurt you all feelings. I wish they ain't have cell.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Phones no more, so we could go to the pay phone.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Boy, that was my thing.
- 12:16Speaker 6: Remember being in the house and somebody, boy, my brother
- 12:23Speaker 6: gave my mama fifty foot phone call from radio shack
- 12:27Speaker 6: for Christmas. Changed her life. Boy, my mama could pull
- 12:33Speaker 6: that phone out on the front porch and Towne couldn't
- 12:39Speaker 6: tell my mama nothing right. But we had a sycamore
- 12:43Speaker 6: tree in the front of the house and doing the
- 12:47Speaker 6: getting close to the fall, it was caterpillars would come
- 12:50Speaker 6: out on it, and man, my mama couldn't stand worms.
- 12:54Speaker 6: She was scared to death. She man, she my father
- 12:59Speaker 6: had braid. He had to cut limbs back.
- 13:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 6: To Finally she just said, I don't want the tree
- 13:06Speaker 6: out there no more, she said, will build that tree
- 13:11Speaker 6: is on city property, She says, slick, you know how
- 13:14Speaker 6: much illegal stuff you done done?
- 13:19Speaker 2: Now? The tree was so big you couldn't put your
- 13:22Speaker 2: arms around.
- 13:23Speaker 6: That's how big this tree work like two grown men
- 13:26Speaker 6: would have to get around it to lock hands. That's
- 13:28Speaker 6: how thick the bark was. My dad had to cut
- 13:31Speaker 6: tree down. Legal took four weeks.
- 13:39Speaker 2: All right.
- 13:40Speaker 9: Coming up next and is run that prank back with
- 13:43Speaker 9: a nephew right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning show.
- 13:52Speaker 6: You can't let the urge to sing your favorite songs
- 13:55Speaker 6: while you're driving distract you from that truck drifting toward
- 13:58Speaker 6: your lane or that lane splinting biker creeping up. Besides, fortunately,
- 14:02Speaker 6: every Hunday offers advanced safety features that can alert you
- 14:06Speaker 6: to potential dangers around.

- 16:23Speaker 2: I mean, like you know, as a dependent.
- 16:26Speaker 10: Bro, you asked me some real personal questions. Now you know,
- 16:29Speaker 10: like you're the guy that you just said, you you

- 16:52Speaker 7: Well, we'll see, man, what I was thinking. You know,
- 16:54Speaker 7: I just wanted to read you seem like cool dude

- 17:14Speaker 7: what I'm saying, And what I wanted to get at

- 17:39Speaker 10: he sounds like the police.
- 17:41Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, it ain't. Ain't nobody gonna come
- 17:43Speaker 2: at your sideways like that. Man.
- 17:45Speaker 7: I ain't trying to come like what I'm trying to say, Man,
- 17:47Speaker 7: now they're going to hit me off of this eight hundred. Well,
- 17:49Speaker 7: see I can get twenty three hundred. Man, I kick
- 17:52Speaker 7: you down two fifty. You understand what I'm saying.
- 17:55Speaker 11: Man, everybody cool too, Simpty you crazy?
- 18:00Speaker 10: Now you sound like a joke, bro, because now you're
- 18:03Speaker 10: insult to me. You're telling me you want to clean
- 18:05Speaker 10: my down for some where you owe money. I don't

- 18:16Speaker 10: you getting. I'm getting twenty three hundred two. So what
- 18:19Speaker 10: I look like taking two hundred dollars from I don't know?
- 18:23Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Okay, but I'm the one
- 18:25Speaker 2: stuck over here paying the eight hundred. Man, I'm just
- 18:27Speaker 2: acting ask you to look out for a brother. Man,
- 18:30Speaker 2: you said look out.
- 18:32Speaker 10: You know, my texting cut from forty hours a week
- 18:35Speaker 10: to thirteen hours a week, and I still got these
- 18:37Speaker 10: little backs to me for Jordan's Michael Johany never put
- 18:40Speaker 10: it down.
- 18:40Speaker 2: That's why I'm trying to hook you up with two fifty. Man.
- 18:43Speaker 2: You don't even see a good thing when it's coming
- 18:45Speaker 2: at you.
- 18:46Speaker 10: Brother, Bro, I don't know what you're talking about. Bro,

- 24:16Speaker 9: that had Trump signs in their yards during the election.
- 24:20Speaker 1: She calls me a sellout. How do I get her
- 24:22Speaker 1: to be more late neighborly?
- 24:24Speaker 6: H Well, she need to relax. Trump he is the president.
- 24:31Speaker 6: He's number forty six. You can get unmad right now
- 24:37Speaker 6: and just sit there and just and just let them
- 24:40Speaker 6: all deal with the ramifications, because it's going to be
- 24:44Speaker 6: some ramifications to deal.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Well, you ain't got to be mad at them.

- 24:57Speaker 12: I say this way.
- 25:00Speaker 6: Everybody that voted for Trump is not a bad person.
- 25:06Speaker 6: It's a lot of misguided people out here. It's a
- 25:09Speaker 6: lot of people that of that fail for the okie dope.
- 25:13Speaker 6: It's a lot of people got bamboozle. It's a lot
- 25:17Speaker 6: of people drank the kool aid. It's some people out
- 25:21Speaker 6: there really thought they was doing what was best for
- 25:22Speaker 6: the country. The problem we had was we didn't give
- 25:26Speaker 6: them alternative with Biden. And then Kamala got in the
- 25:29Speaker 6: race too late. He had that stick in his hand.
- 25:32Speaker 6: He was three quarters away around the track.
- 25:36Speaker 9: Okay, race huh well I wanted Yeah. So you're saying
- 25:42Speaker 9: that the wife just needs to chill and be a

- 26:05Speaker 9: her eight year old son too.
- 26:07Speaker 1: My husband doesn't want to. Should we invite him?
- 26:11Speaker 6: Well, I mean, you know it would be the cool
- 26:15Speaker 6: thing to do. Yeah, yeah, you know, it would be cool.
- 26:19Speaker 6: He just an eight year old boy. You know, they
- 26:21Speaker 6: all gonna get along and play. You know, the two
- 26:24Speaker 6: ten year old sons.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I got that. Ain't your son? I got that.
- 26:27Speaker 1: He ate Why doesn't he want to take them though?
- 26:31Speaker 2: Because it ain't his son?
- 26:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he probably like let his daddy take him on
- 26:35Speaker 1: the trip.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Hello, not a mother dilemma.
- 26:38Speaker 6: Yeah, that's his ex. And you don't know if they
- 26:42Speaker 6: was married or not. They just have both have ten
- 26:45Speaker 6: year old sons from previous.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Relationships previous marriage, so yeah they were married.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Sureley, you your job was clo my job.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 26:55Speaker 2: It's supposed to read the questions to me. And then I.
- 26:58Speaker 6: Asked her answer, you could do that, Well, that's what
- 27:01Speaker 6: we do every day. Your segment is your strawberry letter,
- 27:05Speaker 6: is it?
- 27:06Speaker 7: Is it?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's your segment, and we let you say whatever
- 27:10Speaker 2: you want to say here the problem.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I was just trying to clarify something. Don't make this
- 27:14Speaker 1: about me.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Okay, you stay out of it. We could have moved.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I have to stay out of it. But move on?
- 27:23Speaker 2: Can I move on?
- 27:24Speaker 1: Can I move on? Can be great?
- 27:29Speaker 2: So here's the deal.
- 27:31Speaker 6: Yes, the woman who has the two boys, the eight
- 27:35Speaker 6: year old and the ten, she wants him to consider
- 27:39Speaker 6: taking an eight year old because the ten year old
- 27:42Speaker 6: is leaving the house and he going, I want to
- 27:44Speaker 6: go with my brother. Yes, And then what she's going
- 27:48Speaker 6: to be faced with is now he don't want you?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Yes? Why because that ain't your daddy. See, it's a
- 27:55Speaker 2: lot to come with it.
- 27:56Speaker 1: That's all you wanted to get to.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Well, this is what the problem is. Is shit, he
- 28:05Speaker 2: take the boy or not? Right?
- 28:08Speaker 7: Right?
- 28:08Speaker 2: The issue?
- 28:09Speaker 6: Yeah, but the dilemma is he don't want to take
- 28:12Speaker 6: him because that's not his son and he's younger. You
- 28:16Speaker 6: don't know if this is the boy that came out
- 28:20Speaker 6: of the relationship that she cheated on him with, which
- 28:23Speaker 6: is why they ain't jump.
- 28:26Speaker 1: And even I don't need to be involved.
- 28:29Speaker 6: That's how you need to be involved, because you just
- 28:31Speaker 6: because you don't notice the won't she got a ten
- 28:38Speaker 6: year old boy to eight year old boy. It takes
- 28:40Speaker 6: nine months have a baby, so after the ten year
- 28:42Speaker 6: old was born, it wasn't long for she she was
- 28:45Speaker 6: pregnant again.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Whoa, whoa?
- 28:51Speaker 2: What they got to do with him taking this baby?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Because it ain't my baby?
- 28:58Speaker 1: The last one were moving on.
- 29:01Speaker 9: Haley and Oxford says, I'm twenty nine and my husband
- 29:04Speaker 9: is forty. He thinks he's he can cook better than
- 29:07Speaker 9: me because it takes him longer. I use an air
- 29:09Speaker 9: fryer and he loves the cast iron skillet. He loves
- 29:13Speaker 9: my cooking. So why is it such a big deal?
- 29:15Speaker 9: How I prepare it? Is it because he's a lot older?
- 29:19Speaker 1: You know I'm going to be involved in this.
- 29:22Speaker 6: He's twenty nine and forty, that's only eleven years stand
- 29:27Speaker 6: on his shirt.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I don't understand how I mean?
- 29:35Speaker 9: What's she's twenty nine and uses an air fryer, he's
- 29:39Speaker 9: forty and uses the cast iron skillet.
- 29:42Speaker 6: Let me explain something to you. That cook better not
- 29:45Speaker 6: taste as good as that cast iron skilly. I can
- 29:48Speaker 6: tell you that right. She says he loves her cooking. Acts, yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 6: he love you cook. What she wants is the title
- 29:56Speaker 6: as the best cook in the family. He say he cooked,
- 30:00Speaker 6: and he do because he don't use that air fry.

- 31:53Speaker 1: Who does the air hockey thing?
- 31:55Speaker 2: And wow?
- 31:58Speaker 9: And speaking of legendary singers, guys, we gotta highlight the
- 32:02Speaker 9: iconic R and B singers that are currently on tour. Okay,
- 32:05Speaker 9: so there's the Queen's Four Legends tour with Miss Patty LaBelle,
- 32:11Speaker 9: Shaka Khan, Miss Gladys Night and Stephanie Mills.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Come all right, I'm taking my mama to that.
- 32:21Speaker 1: That's a singing tour right there.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Yeah, we talked about that not too long ago, the Queens.
- 32:27Speaker 4: But Steve, okay, you got Patty Shaka, Stephanie and glad
- 32:35Speaker 4: and Gladys.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I mean, it doesn't get scary than that. It doesn't matter. Yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 1: So do you open? Who is the lead? Who closes?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Do you rotate like y'all did with the King?
- 32:50Speaker 11: With the King?
- 32:51Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 32:51Speaker 2: How does it?

- 32:53Speaker 1: Would you line them up? Steve? How would you first?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Let's get this understand, it ain't gonna start on time.

- 34:38Speaker 2: Then I would go Patty in a mission.
- 34:46Speaker 1: We need to break the audience after that.

- 35:26Speaker 2: All the way through, absolutely on your blak cuss.
- 35:30Speaker 6: One time, when when I was bringing out the Clark

- 43:35Speaker 6: J I gave him a speech because I know the
- 43:38Speaker 6: boy is stupid. All he had do was say Jesus, well,
- 43:41Speaker 6: where's enough for five minutes? Because Jesus, well, shad two words?
- 43:47Speaker 2: Get off?
- 43:48Speaker 1: But maybe because you were yelling at him.
- 43:50Speaker 6: Your can't yell at the baby, if you if I

- 44:35Speaker 9: the overflowing all.
- 44:36Speaker 6: The ushers ain't ever prepared for the new influx. I'm
- 44:39Speaker 6: let me go back to the play. Okay, the reason
- 44:42Speaker 6: we counseling the play? Okay, uh huh, it's caused the stone,
- 44:48Speaker 6: the stone that was at Christ Grade.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am.

- 45:03Speaker 6: bought a real stone in there. Now can't nobody roll
- 45:06Speaker 6: it away? And then he lost his company. So the
- 45:10Speaker 6: bulldozer had brought it in and messed up the whole
- 45:12Speaker 6: front of the church. He lost the company. Now we
- 45:15Speaker 6: can't get the stone.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Out of that wow.
- 45:20Speaker 6: Either time we done all cats around that stone. We
- 45:23Speaker 6: did a pilgrim play. We bought it a little four
- 45:26Speaker 6: white girl scouts and had them play like they was
- 45:29Speaker 6: Homish people over the brown.
- 45:36Speaker 1: So Eastern this is gonna be a disaster this Sunday.
- 45:39Speaker 2: We know we're not letting nobody bring in no more
- 45:42Speaker 2: props or nothing.

- 55:08Speaker 6: rented a car that he already has, the same car.
- 55:11Speaker 6: People do that they like their ties one that he
- 55:15Speaker 6: rented and put it on heels and switched to my
- 55:18Speaker 6: because the ties were better on the car that he
- 55:21Speaker 6: rent it. And that's the reason why he rent it
- 55:22Speaker 6: and then took it back to the rental car play.
- 55:26Speaker 7: They don't know they got genius when you think about it,

- 56:39Speaker 2: Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Thank you for you.
- 56:42Speaker 9: Subject the Child won't understand this. Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 56:46Speaker 9: am a thirty four year old single mother. I have
- 56:50Speaker 9: had the same best friend for twenty years and she
- 56:53Speaker 9: is my daughter's godmother. My daughter's father died when she
- 56:57Speaker 9: was two years old, and my best friend said she
- 57:00Speaker 9: would always be there for my child. Well, she has
- 57:04Speaker 9: not kept her promise. My daughter is seven years old
- 57:07Speaker 9: now and she has a spicy personality and behavioral problems.
- 57:13Speaker 9: She acts out when she's upset, and she has a
- 57:16Speaker 9: problem with being disrespectful to adult. I have tried everything
- 57:20Speaker 9: to discipline her, but nothing has worked. This past Saturday,
- 57:25Speaker 9: her godmother took her to a birthday party for me
- 57:28Speaker 9: so I could rest and nurse a cold. Within thirty
- 57:31Speaker 9: minutes of leaving, my child walked back in yelled at
- 57:34Speaker 9: the top of her lungs at her godmother. The godmother
- 57:38Speaker 9: said that as soon as she got to the party,
- 57:40Speaker 9: this child of mine insulted the birthday girl and told
- 57:44Speaker 9: her that her hair was a mess, her party decorations
- 57:47Speaker 9: were terrible, and her.
- 57:49Speaker 1: House was stinky.
- 57:51Speaker 9: My best friend said she was so embarrassed she drugged
- 57:54Speaker 9: my daughter out of the party, kicking and screaming. I
- 57:58Speaker 9: know my friend was very upset, but I thought as
- 58:00Speaker 9: an adult, she should have handled it. A few hours later,
- 58:04Speaker 9: I called my best friend to see if she cooled off.
- 58:07Speaker 9: She said she wasn't mad, but she is done with
- 58:10Speaker 9: my daughter for good. She denounced her title as the
- 58:13Speaker 9: godmother of my child. I didn't even know you could
- 58:16Speaker 9: do that. She doesn't want my child to interfere with
- 58:19Speaker 9: our friendship. I'm like, what, who does that? I tried
- 58:23Speaker 9: reasoning with her, but she kept saying that she's not
- 58:25Speaker 9: changing her mind. It's going to devastate my child because
- 58:29Speaker 9: she loves her godmother. So how will I tell my
- 58:32Speaker 9: child that her godmother quit her? I'm so upset?
- 58:36Speaker 1: Well, I mean, really, can you blame her though?
- 58:38Speaker 9: I mean, no one likes a bad but child just
- 58:40Speaker 9: no one likes bad Baba's type kids.
- 58:44Speaker 1: No one likes them but their parents. Sorry, and you're
- 58:46Speaker 1: her mom, so you know.
- 58:49Speaker 9: I mean truth be told her godmother might come back
- 58:52Speaker 9: if little god daughter, you know, is better behaved. But
- 58:58Speaker 9: I just got to ask where is she getting with attitude?
- 59:00Speaker 9: I mean, at seven years old, what kind of little
- 59:04Speaker 9: friends does she have? She's disrespectful, as she showed at
- 59:09Speaker 9: the party. She's unruly, she's way too grown. She's just
- 59:12Speaker 9: a bad little kid. I mean, what is wrong? Are
- 59:15Speaker 9: you doing your part as mom? As her mother? Okay,
- 59:23Speaker 9: as her mother. I think you got to know that
- 59:28Speaker 9: this is more than what you call a spicy personality.
- 59:32Speaker 9: I think you're overlooking this whole thing because she's your daughter.
- 59:36Speaker 9: I think you just can't wait for the godmother to
- 59:39Speaker 9: godmother to come over and discipline your child. The stuff
- 59:42Speaker 9: that your godmother does every once in a while, every
- 59:44Speaker 9: now and then, that's not going to stick. That's not
- 59:46Speaker 9: going to stay with your child. It really isn't, you know.
- 59:51Speaker 9: And she could very well be through with your daughter
- 59:53Speaker 9: because your daughter did act up. The question is why
- 59:56Speaker 9: is she doing all this? And if it's going to
- 59:59Speaker 9: devastate your child? He so much because she loves her godmother.
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: Maybe you know that would reel your daughter in and
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: make her behave better. But I think the best thing
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: to do is to get your daughter into some kind
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: of therapy right away. I know people will disagree with me.
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: Some are just gonna say you should whoop her a
- 1:00:17Speaker 9: little behind. I know people are gonna say that, but
- 1:00:21Speaker 9: I mean, she's only seven. She's only seven, you.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Get yours full.
- 1:00:31Speaker 9: But anyway, that's what I think about this, because you
- 1:00:34Speaker 9: know she suffered major laws. I mean, even though she
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: was only two years old. You're a single mom. There
- 1:00:40Speaker 9: is no man in the home. She could just be
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: acting out. So get her into some therapy. Okay, Steve, please.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Please, I thought you had more.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, fairbyt Yes, sir, you were ready.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: You're a thirty four year old single mother. You got
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: this best friend didn't had for twenty years. She's your
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: daughter's god mother. That's a given title. That's just you know,
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: you know, when you somebody god mother, godfather, that's just
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: a title. You ain't really supposed to do nothing, not really,
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: not really really, doll, this is just, you know, really.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Supposed to do nothing.
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: That's your godmother, that's your god cousin, that's your god brother.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah you ain't. You ain't really supposed
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: to do nothing. All right.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: She said her father died when she was two, and
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: your best friend said she'd always be there for your child.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: Everybody say that. Don't nobody mean that. God that said,
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: don't be real? Who mean that I'll always be there
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: for your child? That means I'll always know them. Her
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: name Brenda, Yes, Brenda dah but sheikua yes, but shekwa.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: Well she has not kept her promise. My daughter is
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: seven years old now. She has a spicy personality and
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: behavior problem. Pump your brakes right there samn year old
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: with a spicy personality.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: And behavioral problems. You know what that means.
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: This little Heatha crazy, Samny old little Heatha crazy. You know,
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: I ain't old, Steve nothing. She acts out when she's upset,
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: and here go to big Wood. She got a problem
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: with being disrespectful to adult. You know why because she's
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: been allowed her.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Now when I come back, you come to truth.
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: All right, all right, We're gonna have part two of
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hour.

- 1:03:46Speaker 9: Subject the child won't understand this.
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: Well what thirty four year old lady got a free
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: and being a free in twenty year got a little girl.
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: The little girl follow to die when she was two.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: The lady that's been her friend is her god mother.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: We've discussed this. That don't mean nothing. That title, that's
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: just a throwaway line.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: That's like, hey, happy New Year. A nobody give it?
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: How your year ago? We just got this year out.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Say you're so wrong, ain't there onybody? Happy new year?
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Happy New Year. It's just traditions, that tradition. I don't
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: nobody really how are you today? Last?
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: Like I give it, I really don't want to know
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: how you do today. I want you to say I'm fine.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: I don't want to hear about your problems. God mother, godfather,
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: same thing. How you doing, how you feel today?
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: We don't really want to know that.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: She said she'd always be there for the little girl,
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: and she ain't kept a problem the little girl seven
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: years old.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: She got a spicy personality and behavior problems.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Flash.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: That means this little hell of crazy. She acts out
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: when she's upset. Oh okay, and she has a problem
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: with being disrespectful to adults.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: And you know why she has a problem with being
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: disrespectful to adults.
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: Because she has been allowed to be disrespectful to adults
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: and ain't been no consequence. I have tried everything to
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: discipline in her, but nothing has worked. Oh no, ye ain't.
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: Oh no, yeah, you ain't did everything. If you did everything,
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: you wouldn't be writing this letter. You've tried some things,
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: you ain't done everything.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: What is she trying?
- 1:05:48Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Time out? That ain't worried? Told her she couldn't go outside.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Don't nobody give it about that? No more, that's true.
- 1:06:04Speaker 10: Go to your room.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Hell, that's where my computer at.
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: I'm good, cool, Yeah, yeah, I'm not gonna get you
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: nothing for Christmas.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Have far.
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: I got a whole year for you to change your mind.
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: I've tried everything, but nothing has worked. You ain't tried everything.
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: But let's move home.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Let's move.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: This past Saturday. Her godmother took her to a birthday
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: party for me. Now keep in mind who took her,
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: now her godmother the throwaway title.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Now this ain't thing mama took of her grandmother.
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: Her godmother took her this party for me so I
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: could rest and nurse a cold tty Minutes after leaving,
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: my child walked back in the house, yelling at the
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: top of her lungs at her god mother, you donna
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: bring me back.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: To this body. I just went to the body. How
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: you gonna bring me back home? You don't bring me
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: back home.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: I bought you back on because you can't drive you
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: back in this house, because you don't know how.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: To act, the godmother said.
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: As soon as she got to the party, this child
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: of mine insulted the birthday girl, told her that her
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: hand was a mess, her party decorations was terrible, that
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: her house was stinking.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: We got to get this help out of here, see,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: the godmother say, I got.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: To get this little ignorant helper out this woman house.
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: Oh she hi this and kill everybody into it.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: If wasn't a little girl she was concerned about.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: It was the little girl who mama threw the party
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: that an invited joke daughter over to the house that
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: ain't bought the gift. You know why, because she funky
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: and she got a bad attitude. So she just over
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: there insultant some people's house. So your best friend saying
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: she was so embarrassed, she drug her daughter out the party,
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: kicking and screaming like she was supposed to, cause.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: You know why, she the godmother.
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: She ain't got to invest no more of her day
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: in this little help your little girl crazy. I know
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: my friend was very upset, but I thought as an adult,
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: she could have handled it better. Oh you're talking about
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: handled it better to the little girl that's disrespectful to adults.
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: You thought she could have handled it better. I agree
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: with you right there. I think she could have handled
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: it better too. Think of what I would have did
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: soon as she said something about the little girls messed
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: up here, I'd have missed her hair. Now you're both
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: standing here with your hair all over your head. How
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: you like that, and then i'd have said somebody addressed.
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: I'd have threw punch on her dress. Now everybody outfit
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: messed up and out of stuffed one of them balloons
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: in her little ragged ass mouth because she keeps running it.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: That's how i'd have handled.
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: Oh, we just stayed at the party because I'm not
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: going to the party and don't get no cake, So
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: we're not leaving this party right here.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I like going to kids party because kid party had
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: good hate.
- 1:08:58Speaker 11: Some of it.
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: They had a little crazy righting on her but ed
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: velvet on the inside. So I don't know why you
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: think we finna leave this party about this, Kate, i'da
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: beat your daughter and bought her back. But see, you
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: know why she don't beat your daughter because she just
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: a god mother. Now she with the grandmother. She's bought
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: your little baby back home with a couple of wounds
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: on that. But no, she bought this look crazy helpa back.
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: A few hours later, I call my best friend to
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: see if she cool off. She said she wasn't mad,
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: but she's done with my daughter for good.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: I'm too. I don't want to be the god mother anyway.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: I ain't never gonna be godmother Noway, but you said

- 1:14:09Speaker 9: I've been in and out of the hospital and my
- 1:14:11Speaker 9: husband hates hospital and doctors. So he dropped me off
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: and he stopped by a few times to visit, but
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: he wouldn't stay long. My family members were there for me,
- 1:14:21Speaker 9: and they questioned my husband's loyalty. My husband said they
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: need to mind their business and he won't discuss it.
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: He does not care about my feelings about this. Am
- 1:14:30Speaker 9: I supposed to let it go?
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: Well, you're probably not gonna let it go. But I
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: think as me and we have to be a little
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: bit more considerate.
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: I know you don't like hospitals and you don't like doctors,
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: but I'm pretty sure she don't like being in there.
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: But when you love somebody, you got to support them,
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: that's right, you know. And that's through sickness and in health.
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: Richard for poor all of that. You know, went down
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: there a couple of times, you know, man, come on
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: dog and didn't do better than that. Yeah, you could

- 1:15:13Speaker 6: Yes?
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: That hard?
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:15:17Speaker 9: We have time for another one. This one is from
- 1:15:20Speaker 9: Tim and Pittsburgh. Tim says, I'm a policeman and my
- 1:15:23Speaker 9: girlfriend likes to shout it out when we're out. We
- 1:15:26Speaker 9: were in line at a comedy club the other night
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: and She told the doorman that I'm a cop to
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: see if we could skip the line. Then we sat
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: next to a heckler and she told a heckler that
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: he better hush or I'm going to arrest him. The
- 1:15:39Speaker 9: guy started talking crazy to her, and I had to
- 1:15:42Speaker 9: defend her, which could have gotten out of hand.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Even before sex.
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: She likes to keep She likes me to keep my
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: uniform pants on and remove them slowly.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Is this woman fascinated with me or my job?
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Your job?
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: It's plain, isn't it.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: This is his girlfriend.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, well let me explain something. D you ever
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: lose that job down there? He's off?
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Yeah, if they're done.
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: Yeah, she's fascinated with that man. But you know, some
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: women like the uniform so you can use it to
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: your advantage. But women you have to be careful running
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: your mouth, setting your man up for failure. Yeah, because
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: like he said, naw, he got to say something to
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: this dude.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Ye man, Yeah, the guy was a heckler. She said
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: something to the heckler, said, my boyfriend will arrest you.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: He's a cop.
- 1:16:44Speaker 9: And then the guy, the heckler, started talking crazy to her.
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: That could have gone really wild.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Real crazy.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: You've had a lot of experience with Heckler.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Bruh.
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: It's just once they get that alcohol in us. I
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: wrote something funny on the way to the club myself.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: He'd go, wow that, what is that? But he paid
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: his money to come and see you.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Though.
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: When they disrupt the show, it's like, yeah, oh no,
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: everyone has seen you.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: What Shirley used to say.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Get somewhere, sit down, little girl. Everyone has seen you.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Everyone. Let me tell you something. Heckling me.
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: You want to be in the show now, Okay, I'm
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: gonna put you in it, but it ain't gonna go
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: like you thought it was gonna go.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: You're gonna want out this show real good. But I'm
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: gonna leave you in it all night.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's kind of crazy, that really is.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Don't let them be on a date. Oh lord, girl,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: have you got a date to Yeah? Oh, she need
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: to leave that tape. It's probably gonna break y'all up.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you destroy him from the stage.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: The worst thingp I had was a handicapped guy.
- 1:18:13Speaker 6: He had them crutches with the bracelets on him, and
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: boy he was working men. Yeah, and then he stood
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: came to the edge of the stage and I saw
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: that equipment. Boy, let me tell yourself that was the
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: worst day.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Of his life.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: But wait, you didn't have any consideration for the fact
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: that he was not a drunk chabled huh.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Matter of fact, more bullet.
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: All right, coming up with twenty minutes after, we'll have
- 1:18:42Speaker 9: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:51Speaker 9: A sixty year old man was arrested for sunbathing naked
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: on a crowded Florida beach. There were families with kids
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: all around, and numerous words were made to the local police.
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: When officers did arrive, police found him chilling in his
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: chair under an umbrella, and he had sectioned off his
- 1:19:09Speaker 9: area by lining up beer cans in the sand. He
- 1:19:12Speaker 9: was arrested in charge with exposure of sexual organs. He
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: was later released on twenty five hundred dollars bond. There
- 1:19:19Speaker 9: are such things as nude beaches. We all have heard
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: about them. So here's a question, what would you have done?
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: And have you guys ever been to a new beach?
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been yet. Guila. Has they have a beach
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: you can go to? It's a nude beach?
- 1:19:36Speaker 6: And it's a clothing beach and there's a wall that
- 1:19:38Speaker 6: separates a very short wall. So I said, right next
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: to the wall. I was on a cruise shield back
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: in the day and they went over there, and I said, yeah,
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: I'm going to that went over there. But here's the
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: thing I've discovered about people on the new beach. Everybody
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: that's on a new beach need they clothes on?
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: It was no fine body, one fine not Now?
- 1:20:04Speaker 10: Who are you?
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: No fine.
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: I saw by that wall. I was so disappointed.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Raggedy old dog.
- 1:20:19Speaker 10: No.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: But Tommy, Tommy, he likes to be naked.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: Talk us about that all the time. Nude? Would you?
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: But I'm sexy though?

- 1:22:06Speaker 9: house without heat?
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: Hm?
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Hmm, no air or no heat? Well, Junior, sorry to

- 1:22:34Speaker 6: Well, okay, I can't stand being cold. Yeah, my room
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: when I was a little boy was the attic. Me
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: and my nephew l we shared the room upstairs. We
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: stayed in the attic, so it was as hell. That's
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: when you learn stuff. Your parents be still listen to
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: me anymore? Still, and I'm in a coma, I'm still
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: as I can be. Why will y'all give us a fan?
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: You know, man, I was a little boy. I'll be
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: going to k ut with my mama. I'll be in

- 1:23:15Speaker 6: to push the card over there so they could see
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: one ad a fan for six dollars.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: I don't know why we couldn't get as a fan.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: That's why you're rich today.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: Anymore? Steal up in a coma the other day.
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: Last week you said that your parents, the mother had
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: you at forty two, so your rooms in the attic,
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: so they didn't have a room for you.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: You weren't see.
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: My sister and them had moved down on the first
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: floor with all they kids. So then my mama and
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: daddy had the room, and then but my two brothers
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: in that room, and then me and Ale had the
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: attic upstairs. See that used to be my brother's room

- 1:24:24Speaker 9: Guys coming up next to this is our last break
- 1:24:27Speaker 9: of the day. Will close out the show with the

- 1:24:31Speaker 1: This, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: already know what it is.

- 1:24:41Speaker 13: the Steves Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: You can't let the urge to sing your favorite songs
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: while you're.
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: Driving distract you from that truck drifting toward your lane
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: or that lane splitting.
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: Biker creeping up beside you.
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: Fortunately, everynday offers advanced safety features that can alert you

- 1:25:16Speaker 9: All right, guys, it is our last break of the day,
- 1:25:19Speaker 9: and see it's time for a closing remark.
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: Hey, here it is today you all. I want to encourage,
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: but I want to remind you of something. You have
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: an opportunity to make a decision that can alter the
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: course of your life. You you have an opportunity to
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: make a decision that can alter the course of your life.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: Okay, Steve, what do you mean by that? I mean this,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: and this is just a true fact.
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: If you change your thought process, if you change the
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: way you look at things, if you take every negative
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: spin and put a positive spin on it, if you
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: start setting your dreams and goals, if you start praying,
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: if you start confiding in God, if you form a
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: relationship with your creator. You have done the necessary things.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: You have made a decision that can alter the course
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: of your life. All you have to do is believe
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: that it's so That simple thing is so difficult for
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: the average person to even conceive for themselves.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: And why is that?
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: I'll tell you why. Because the devil is brilliant. Because
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: the devil uses all the tricks to persuade you to
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: think the opposite way. His only job is to rob
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: you of your destiny. And if he can make you
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: think that what I just said is not possible for you,
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: it is the beginning. But let's go back and look
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: at it. If you look at all the success stories
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: of most honest people, they will tell you at some
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: point I believed it, I wanted it, and I worked
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: for it. But if you do not have the belief,
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: we can stop right there. If you don't believe something
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: is for you, if you don't believe in something you
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: want or aspire to, we can stop right there.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: Now, think about it. Have you given up on the
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: belief system?
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: Have you given up on believing in the things that
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: you used to want for yourself because in the delaying
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: of it happening, you perceive the delay as a denial.
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: How many of you are guilty of that. Let's just
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: have a moment here now. How many of you have
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: ever wanted something really badly and you want it at
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: a particular time and it didn't happen, so you assumed
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: because it was delayed, it was denied. How many of
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: you have ever felt that way? I know I have,
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: I know the majority of people have. But if that's
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: the way you use your thought process. It proves that
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: what I'm saying is true because the moment you change
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: the way you think, you change everything.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: Because it's delayed doesn't mean it's denied.
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: Because you don't believe something to be So it's the
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: very call of the possibility of it happened, and it
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: gets down to the real basis of what faith is.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: Faith is the.
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: Belief in things that you cannot see. I don't need
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: a lot of faith to walk to the bathroom.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: I just say, man, I gotta go to the bathroom,
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: and I get up at a walk over there. It
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: doesn't require faith for me. But if I decide to
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: set up a goal that for to gain attention for
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: my foundation or to gain attention to a cause, and
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: I make the announcement on Facebook, Steve Harvey is going
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: to walk from Atlanta, Georgia to Cleveland, Ohio, a lot
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: of people gonna get cameras out. I wanna go see
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: this hill because you know why, that ain't regular. That
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: ain't nothing I've ever done before. They ain't nothing I
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: can see. So that would require faith, wouldn't it. It
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: would require faith for a person to say I'm I'm
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: gonna go survive some inclimate clement weather for twenty one.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: Days, neked and afraid or whatever. It requires some measure
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: of faith.
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: But if you watch that show, a lot of people
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: don't make it because what they thought was gonna be
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: easy is never that easy. And then somewhere that the
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: majority of people don't make it on that show.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: But listen to me. Everything starts from the basis of
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: your belief.
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: Get back to believing. I believe that gonna be the
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: best year of my life. I expect that.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: I am looking for it, I am watchful for it.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: I'm paying close attention to everything I'm saying to God
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: so far, because I have claimed a victory for myself.
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: If you've not done that, when stuff don't happen your way,
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: who you mad at you didn't put the belief out there.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: I'm telling you, y'all, why would you not try that?
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: Why would you not give that a shot. It's a
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: simple exercise in belief, It's a simple exercise in the
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: law of attraction. It's a simple exercise in faith. But
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: you've got to attempt it. All that gonna work.
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: You know. I'm gonna tell you something.
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: Somebody really, really close to me I've been begging them
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: to come to me and sit down with their vision list,
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: because I tell everybody, and this person's really close to me,
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: and they've yet to come and sit with me. But
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: they keep wandering around aimlessly in their life. And I
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: watch them time after time after time, thing not go right,
- 1:31:22Speaker 6: thing not go right, and they keep telling me about it.
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: And all I said to them was come and sit
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: with me with your vision list, your dream board. They
- 1:31:30Speaker 6: still ain't made one. Well, maybe if they would start
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: believing that that system works, maybe they could change something.
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: Maybe they listening today, I hope so, I hope you
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: heard it. Those are my closing remarks today. It starts
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: with the belief. Y'all get back to believe and have
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: a great day. Talk to God. He loved to hear
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: from you.
