- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubbings me good together to please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me. You gotta turning? You are
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turnout? Turn you love? Got the
- 1:44Speaker 1: turnout to turn the water the water go? Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your fad uh huh, I sure will A good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on, DIGNI
- 2:08Speaker 1: now one it only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Here we go today. I think I have something for
- 2:16Speaker 1: a lot of people today, at least I hope I do.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And this is about on your journey, And this is
- 2:23Speaker 1: about something that happens to us all. I mean, what
- 2:28Speaker 1: happens to all of us from time to time when
- 2:32Speaker 1: we get discouraged, What happens to all of us when
- 2:36Speaker 1: we feel like quitting, What happens to all of us
- 2:41Speaker 1: when we have that turnback moment, What happens to all
- 2:45Speaker 1: of us when it don't seem like it's gonna pan out.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Because I want you to understand something that everyone, every
- 2:54Speaker 1: single living soul, has those thoughts about something at some
- 3:00Speaker 1: point in their life. I mean, you know, look, I've
- 3:04Speaker 1: oftentimes been discouraged about things not happening as fast as
- 3:09Speaker 1: I like them. All things don't pan out the way
- 3:13Speaker 1: I would like for them to have panned out. I mean,
- 3:16Speaker 1: there's so many ways to get discouraged. But but what
- 3:23Speaker 1: my encouragement to you is when discouragement comes is understand this.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It is a part of the growth process. It is
- 3:36Speaker 1: a test. It is a test of your faith. How
- 3:43Speaker 1: bad you want it, do you really believe? That's all
- 3:50Speaker 1: faith is. It's simply and I've said this how many times.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Faith is to belief in things that you cannot see.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So when discouragement comes, set back comes, it is a
- 4:01Speaker 1: test of your faith. At least it's been that way
- 4:05Speaker 1: for me. Now other people can explain it another way.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I'm not other people. I can only give it to
- 4:10Speaker 1: you the way it has come to me and throughout
- 4:12Speaker 1: my life and man on man on man. Discouragement sometimes
- 4:17Speaker 1: it's tough to deal with because it seems at times
- 4:22Speaker 1: when you are discouraged that is so absolute that this
- 4:28Speaker 1: means the end, and if you allow it to set in,
- 4:34Speaker 1: it can be just that the end of you. When Milly, Milly,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it was a test, That's all it is. But the
- 4:43Speaker 1: majority of people that I know who are not successful
- 4:47Speaker 1: or who have told me the story of how they
- 4:50Speaker 1: gave up, it was because at a moment of discouragement
- 4:55Speaker 1: that they allowed it to set in and it became
- 5:00Speaker 1: so engulfing that it became the reason why you shouldn't finish.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And then they started justifying it with hither one that
- 5:07Speaker 1: I hate to hear. Well, if it's God's will, excuse me.
- 5:13Speaker 1: If it's God's will that you fail. If it's God's
- 5:17Speaker 1: will that you're not successful. If it's God's will that
- 5:23Speaker 1: you lay down and give up, it's God's will that
- 5:27Speaker 1: you allow yourself to amount to to not reach your potential.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's God's will. That's not the God I know. That's
- 5:37Speaker 1: not the God I served, That's not the God I've
- 5:40Speaker 1: read about. That's not the God I believe in. I'm sorry.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I just my mother always taught me something that he
- 5:47Speaker 1: didn't bring me this far to leave me. I just
- 5:50Speaker 1: don't believe that, not for a second. Now have I
- 5:56Speaker 1: convinced myself or some things, yep, Have I allowed the
- 6:00Speaker 1: devil to come into the picture and paint a different
- 6:03Speaker 1: one from it? Yep, yep, I've done all of that,
- 6:07Speaker 1: But you can't blame that on God. Now, come on,
- 6:11Speaker 1: So when discouragement comes, try to look at it if
- 6:18Speaker 1: you can, as a test of your faith, and you
- 6:22Speaker 1: merely have to pass the test. It could be for
- 6:25Speaker 1: a day, a half a day, a few hours, a week,
- 6:28Speaker 1: a few weeks, it don't matter. Don't nobody know how
- 6:31Speaker 1: long the test period is. Your job is to keep
- 6:34Speaker 1: the faith and keep moving. Keep the faith and keep moving,
- 6:39Speaker 1: keep working, keep believing, keep hope alive. That's your job.
- 6:46Speaker 1: If you do that, that's how you pass the test.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It could be over tomorrow, it could be over in
- 6:52Speaker 1: two weeks, it could be over in a month. You
- 6:54Speaker 1: don't know. But all you got to do is wake
- 6:56Speaker 1: up and keep the faith and fight the discouraging feel
- 7:00Speaker 1: And how do you do that? Steve? Now here we go.
- 7:03Speaker 1: This is the part I know about for show because
- 7:06Speaker 1: how many times I've had to fight off discouragement in
- 7:10Speaker 1: order to get to where God wanted me to be.
- 7:13Speaker 1: What do you do when you become discouraged? Well, I
- 7:19Speaker 1: think of the outcome. When I get discouraged about a task,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I think about the outcome. Man, what would it be like,
- 7:27Speaker 1: if I were to complete the task, what would it
- 7:30Speaker 1: be like? Man? What would the outcome be for me
- 7:33Speaker 1: if I hung on in there? If I didn't give up,
- 7:36Speaker 1: if I if I imagine, I imagine if I don't quit,
- 7:42Speaker 1: I imagine if I don't give up, what would it
- 7:46Speaker 1: be like? Man, Suppose everything I'm hoping for comes true.
- 7:52Speaker 1: But if I don't quit and give up, that might
- 7:54Speaker 1: just be the case. I start talking to myself like that,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I think of what the upside is. What's the upside
- 8:03Speaker 1: to stay in with it? You see, all this is
- 8:06Speaker 1: the same thing. I'm just giving you different ways to
- 8:08Speaker 1: look at it. I'm saying the exact same thing over
- 8:11Speaker 1: and over. But I'm just trying to find the switch
- 8:14Speaker 1: that connects in your mind where you can say, Okay, man,
- 8:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna hang in there. Because if you think of
- 8:20Speaker 1: the outcome and the outcome is appealing to you, if
- 8:23Speaker 1: you imagine what it would be like if you don't
- 8:26Speaker 1: give up or you don't quit, if you think only
- 8:30Speaker 1: of what the upside is to stay in with it,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and then I go, where can this lead to? If
- 8:38Speaker 1: I stay with it, man, and the outcome comes true?
- 8:41Speaker 1: What else could that lead me to, because I mean,
- 8:45Speaker 1: there's always more to it. So where else could this
- 8:49Speaker 1: lead me to? What are the possibilities? Man? What are
- 8:54Speaker 1: the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have in store
- 8:59Speaker 1: for me? If I just hang in there? If I
- 9:02Speaker 1: pass this test of faith? If I just passed this test, now,
- 9:07Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be the only one. But you gotta
- 9:09Speaker 1: get past this one. No, then you're gonna hit a
- 9:11Speaker 1: smooth plane. Then it's gonna be another one. It's gonna
- 9:14Speaker 1: be another one. Life ain't none but a series of tests. Man. Man,
- 9:20Speaker 1: when you're thinking about giving up, when you're discourage, think
- 9:24Speaker 1: of the outcome. Imagine what it would be like if
- 9:28Speaker 1: you don't quit, if you don't give up, what's the
- 9:30Speaker 1: upside to stay in with it? Where can this all
- 9:34Speaker 1: lead to? What? What can this get you too? If
- 9:38Speaker 1: you do this and you get to where you think
- 9:40Speaker 1: you want to be, Oh my god, what's after that?
- 9:44Speaker 1: What are the limitless and endless possibilities of holding on
- 9:49Speaker 1: to your faith? What could really be out there for me? Man?
- 9:52Speaker 1: If I just passed this test, you gotta talk yourself
- 9:55Speaker 1: into hanging in there. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, Let
- 10:03Speaker 1: me clear my throat and let me clear my throat
- 10:11Speaker 1: where I had that hip hop ass moments I love
- 10:14Speaker 1: that is damn man, So let me clear my throat.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I cleared it. I'm here. Thank God for that. Thank
- 10:25Speaker 1: God for the ability to clear my throat. Yeah, ain't
- 10:29Speaker 1: nobody here with me and Sherlen caller. That's it. A
- 10:32Speaker 1: mouth of the South is here. But y'all don't have
- 10:34Speaker 1: to hear how south the mouth really is your country? Now,

- 11:17Speaker 1: the other day, what Steve, somebody like me had to

- 11:26Speaker 1: any of that A lot? Wait a minute, I'm a

- 11:43Speaker 1: but you a lot too, though, Na, and not near
- 11:46Speaker 1: as much as you are a lot anyway. I mean
- 11:52Speaker 1: we're a lot. Yeah, we're a lot. Well did I
- 11:55Speaker 1: end up a grid with it? What you thought? Think?
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep arguing that ain't gonna work out? No,
- 12:03Speaker 1: not in no, no, it's not. No, it's not. Hey, Steve,
- 12:08Speaker 1: what's what do you think today in twenty two what's
- 12:11Speaker 1: the best way to break up with someone? The best
- 12:16Speaker 1: way not and leave texting out of it? Please? Oh no, no,
- 12:21Speaker 1: that's not the best way to do it. It's the
- 12:23Speaker 1: best way to break up with somebody. That has been
- 12:25Speaker 1: the best way to always break over. And what is that?
- 12:30Speaker 1: Just drive off, get in your car, drive off, dog,
- 12:39Speaker 1: hey man? My strongs that drive off and relocate out
- 12:46Speaker 1: of state and disappear from social media and gone man
- 12:50Speaker 1: and start over dog because you know, you know, not
- 12:54Speaker 1: just let it go with the woman because they won't
- 12:58Speaker 1: closure for sure, right they we still want closure? Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: and that's gonna produce another argument that you're not capable
- 13:05Speaker 1: of and another discussion that you're not capable of because
- 13:09Speaker 1: you ain't in touch with your emotions the way they
- 13:12Speaker 1: want you to be. And so now not only are
- 13:16Speaker 1: you censeless and at heartness and non thoughtful, now you
- 13:22Speaker 1: stupid right and you're stuff with all that, you're still
- 13:25Speaker 1: just driving off drive off doll. That's it, all right,

- 21:12Speaker 1: sports entertainment news, Yeah, Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarverer has
- 21:16Speaker 1: been suspended for one year and find ten million dollars
- 21:21Speaker 1: by the NBA. And in music news, we lost to
- 21:24Speaker 1: Chicago native and world renowned jazz music legend. We'll talk
- 21:28Speaker 1: about all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:31Speaker 1: but right now it is time to esque the clo.
- 21:36Speaker 1: This one's from Raquel and Newark. Raquel writes, I just
- 21:40Speaker 1: got married and my husband and I have a new home.
- 21:43Speaker 1: We picked out all of the finishes for the house,
- 21:46Speaker 1: but then he surprised me with all new furniture. The
- 21:49Speaker 1: living room in the primary bedroom are completely furnished and
- 21:54Speaker 1: I hate it all. I hate it. I hated He
- 22:01Speaker 1: thinks he's got style, but it is awful. I'd get
- 22:06Speaker 1: him to return it. Well, you're just going out to say, sweetie,
- 22:10Speaker 1: look I love you. I appreciate the gesture. It was
- 22:14Speaker 1: so thoughtful of you. Man, what a nice thing to do.
- 22:18Speaker 1: But you know, as we picked out this house together
- 22:21Speaker 1: and we started this process, I wanted you to allow
- 22:24Speaker 1: me to have more of a say so. And the
- 22:28Speaker 1: furniture you picked out, I just I can't live with it.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be happy with it. It's gonna affect
- 22:34Speaker 1: my mood in the bedroom, it's going to affect my
- 22:37Speaker 1: mood in the living room. I just do not like it.
- 22:41Speaker 1: And I tried, but I'm so appreciative of the fact
- 22:45Speaker 1: that you did it. Keep the appreciation hot, but you
- 22:48Speaker 1: have to express your disdain for that daymn furniture. Well, like,
- 22:55Speaker 1: here's what you could do. Like, here's what you could do.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Like y'all be kissing and stuff going up the steps
- 23:00Speaker 1: and he thinks it's gonna be good, and then we'll
- 23:03Speaker 1: be walking the bathroom. Wh're walking the bed room, stop
- 23:06Speaker 1: kissing him and throw up seriously because she hates the frien. Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: stop kissing him, turn around here, put your friend in
- 23:17Speaker 1: the float, and then just say it's the bed rule,
- 23:23Speaker 1: baby rule. It's gonna have And every time you go
- 23:28Speaker 1: in that same damn thing and he'll get the message.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Just don't throw up on the furniture. So you can
- 23:34Speaker 1: take it, take it, take it back with it, right,
- 23:37Speaker 1: It's all right, Anna, and Dover says, I am dating
- 23:43Speaker 1: a man that has two dogs, and he has no
- 23:46Speaker 1: problem with the dog sleeping with us, but I do.
- 23:49Speaker 1: He lets them lick his face and all around his
- 23:52Speaker 1: mouth and everything, and then he wants me to kiss
- 23:55Speaker 1: him afterwards. He wants to kiss me afterwards. It's poul
- 23:59Speaker 1: and unseat the terry. Is this a red flag? Is
- 24:03Speaker 1: it a red flag? Yeah? Yeah, I don't know if
- 24:06Speaker 1: it's a red flag or not. But the whole whole
- 24:10Speaker 1: room on five, what do you mean we passed the
- 24:15Speaker 1: red flag? You look at dogs in the mouth, letting
- 24:19Speaker 1: them lay in the bed with you, then he won't
- 24:21Speaker 1: to nick you in the mouth. Now, we ain't doing
- 24:23Speaker 1: this hip partly. I'm gonna tell you what. You let
- 24:26Speaker 1: them dogs way too much, and that's fine. But I
- 24:31Speaker 1: ain't even stop dating him. I'm not coming over that
- 24:35Speaker 1: sleeping with no dog. I'm not kissing you after dog
- 24:38Speaker 1: has kissed you in your mouth, dog licks themselves and
- 24:42Speaker 1: other dogs, and we're not doing this period. Nice to
- 24:48Speaker 1: meet you, but now you'll know what Sherley, Why are
- 24:52Speaker 1: you so mad at me? I'm just kidding. I'm not
- 24:54Speaker 1: mad at you. I'm just waking on this next statement,
- 24:56Speaker 1: watch the ahead and say it. Dogs are cleaner than humans.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Who told y'all that? That's what they say? Who is they?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Stop talking to white people, doll. Believe everything white people
- 25:10Speaker 1: tell y'all and the black person told you that. Has
- 25:12Speaker 1: your grandma mother said that you No, No, has your
- 25:15Speaker 1: mother ever said that? You know? Stop listening to these
- 25:18Speaker 1: white people tell y'all stuff. They're nasty ass dog sitting
- 25:22Speaker 1: up in their eating licking boo boo and eating stuff
- 25:25Speaker 1: off the ground, nicking these salves and sniffing each other's
- 25:28Speaker 1: booty and then putting their mouth on your mouth. How
- 25:31Speaker 1: the hell that's clean? Okay, if you didn't have the
- 25:34Speaker 1: stuff a dog did with his mouth, would you consider
- 25:37Speaker 1: your mouth clean? But we're different, we're humans, they're animals,
- 25:43Speaker 1: I tell you. Then that's what the chief love officers answer.
- 25:47Speaker 1: What follow down? I'm talking very calm. Here's what people
- 25:54Speaker 1: could do. Y'all could do what the cello says, or
- 25:57Speaker 1: you can take Shirley's advice and know that dog smiles
- 26:00Speaker 1: are cleaning them out. I am what I'm saying. Shirley's
- 26:06Speaker 1: just repeating. I've heard that too from different veterinarians. There
- 26:10Speaker 1: are flat veterinarians, there are black veins. What black veterinary
- 26:15Speaker 1: you heard say that? Why do I have to add
- 26:17Speaker 1: a specific adamant and passionate about what I'm saying? Is
- 26:23Speaker 1: Eric Thomas mad when he talks? No, he's adamant and passionate,
- 26:27Speaker 1: and people always talk about Aunt Thomas. He's so mad. No,
- 26:30Speaker 1: the brother's passionate. Okay, next, okay, listen to this. But
- 26:35Speaker 1: you have a listening to wife? You a song out? Yeah?
- 26:43Speaker 1: How about that Disney record? You? Sir? All right, Gail
- 26:50Speaker 1: in bell Dotster, We're moving on. Uh, says My husband
- 26:54Speaker 1: and I were at a charity fashion show and the
- 26:57Speaker 1: final scene was swimwear. All of the models were really
- 27:01Speaker 1: beautiful and had banging bodies, banging bodies. He was smiling
- 27:05Speaker 1: from ear to ear and I noticed, Uh, he had
- 27:08Speaker 1: an erection. He's thirty eight. Is this normal or is
- 27:13Speaker 1: this weird? And now I can't hear you. Before you
- 27:21Speaker 1: were really loud, I could hear you. What did you
- 27:22Speaker 1: just say? Normal? Yeah, he's sitting next to his wife.
- 27:42Speaker 1: But what does that mean every beautiful woman that walks
- 27:46Speaker 1: past him, this is gonna happen. He'll get an erection.
- 27:52Speaker 1: What Let me try to find nicest way to say,
- 27:58Speaker 1: I need the same pass that they were at Charity fashion. Yes, yes,
- 28:06Speaker 1: this was not the one in Paris or New York
- 28:10Speaker 1: where they hire professional model. These were ron as swimming
- 28:19Speaker 1: coming down there with swim suits O with banging brass,
- 28:28Speaker 1: out stuffed, giggling, little stretch marks, bigness. You know a
- 28:35Speaker 1: little bit of selling light creakle. You know that real stone.
- 28:43Speaker 1: My boy, Yeah, they came by my boy, my boy,
- 28:46Speaker 1: God that by the side's wife on the inside. Well,
- 28:56Speaker 1: I want you to be in now aime at HBCU.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you, Clo. Coming up at the top
- 29:09Speaker 1: of the hour. We'll have some entertainment news where you
- 29:11Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:18Speaker 1: The judge dismissed one of the jurors in the r
- 29:20Speaker 1: Kelly trial. The woman complained of a panic attack. She
- 29:23Speaker 1: told the judge how she could not quote go on
- 29:26Speaker 1: one minute more. The trial started four weeks ago. One
- 29:30Speaker 1: of the alternate jurors replaced the panic attack juror. He
- 29:34Speaker 1: is a man in his sixties. The twelve person jury
- 29:37Speaker 1: panel now has seven women and five men. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 29:44Speaker 1: the woman had the panic attack and then no, she's done. Yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 1: I think she was done as well. Y'all know he
- 29:54Speaker 1: get mad, right, exactly all and In sports entertainment news,
- 30:03Speaker 1: Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver has been suspended for one
- 30:07Speaker 1: year and find ten million dollars by the NBA as
- 30:12Speaker 1: the league investigates allegations that Sarver has a history of racist, misogynistic,
- 30:17Speaker 1: and hostile incidents over his nearly two decade tenure overseeing
- 30:22Speaker 1: the franchise. The investigation reveal that Sarver repeated or purported
- 30:27Speaker 1: to repeat the N word on at least five occasions
- 30:31Speaker 1: spanning his tenure with the Suns. The investigation also concluded
- 30:36Speaker 1: that Sarver used demeaning language toward female employees and Kurstad
- 30:41Speaker 1: employees in ways that would be considered bullying under present
- 30:46Speaker 1: workplace standards. Under the NBA's one year suspension, Sarver cannot
- 30:51Speaker 1: be present at any Phoenix Suns NBA or Phoenix Mercury
- 30:55Speaker 1: w NBA games practices or team business functions. He's out
- 30:59Speaker 1: of everything. The NBA said it would donate that ten
- 31:03Speaker 1: million dollars don't to organizations that are committed to addressing
- 31:07Speaker 1: race and gender based issues in and outside of the workplace.
- 31:11Speaker 1: So there you go. Wow, he's just and they're cussing
- 31:15Speaker 1: them out, calling them in word. Right, Okay, Well, you know,
- 31:19Speaker 1: I don't I don't know how effective he could be
- 31:21Speaker 1: after the one you suspension the ten million dollars with
- 31:25Speaker 1: a crimp in his game. Ten million dollars is a
- 31:28Speaker 1: fine for real? Yeah, how does it would make? Ten
- 31:31Speaker 1: million dollars really is? And I was reading that was
- 31:34Speaker 1: the league's maximum fine, so they gave him the maxim.
- 31:39Speaker 1: You know, it's people out there, man, it's so much
- 31:42Speaker 1: out there you can't can't police at all. Yeah, that's true.
- 31:47Speaker 1: You know, we got body cams on police office and
- 31:52Speaker 1: they sold revalent with it that some of them commit
- 31:55Speaker 1: the crime right there on the body can Yeah, right, yes,
- 32:00Speaker 1: if they have it on and they just about their
- 32:02Speaker 1: business and they yeah, so it's hard to police, said all.
- 32:05Speaker 1: You know, Yeah, for people who don't think the herschel
- 32:08Speaker 1: Walker commercial where he talks about one arch thinks that
- 32:12Speaker 1: America is a racist country, America does suffer from racism,
- 32:18Speaker 1: and they got all these and then and then Herschel
- 32:23Speaker 1: Walker this claim is he I happen to think that
- 32:28Speaker 1: America is full of good people, and will Herschel, we
- 32:31Speaker 1: thank you full of sugar honey iced tea, okay, because
- 32:35Speaker 1: that is racism does exist in this country. And just
- 32:39Speaker 1: because your your negro behind wants to be a senator
- 32:46Speaker 1: and do their beckoning wheel and call you standing up
- 32:49Speaker 1: there saying whatever they want you to say, don't make
- 32:52Speaker 1: it not so. And that I'm probably has nothing to
- 32:55Speaker 1: do with today. But I'm telling y'all, we have got
- 32:58Speaker 1: to get ready for these open elections and got to
- 33:02Speaker 1: when we all vote dot org, when we all vote
- 33:06Speaker 1: dot org. We have got to get there now because
- 33:09Speaker 1: these people are doing all forms of voter suppression this
- 33:14Speaker 1: time that they're trying to make it league. They to
- 33:17Speaker 1: move mailboxes, they change zoning laws, they stripped down the
- 33:22Speaker 1: polling locations, they've made more id requirements to get and
- 33:29Speaker 1: they've shortened the time limit that you can register to
- 33:32Speaker 1: vote in order to vote. I'm telling you, these Republicans
- 33:37Speaker 1: have gotten sick today's stomach because they bought into the
- 33:41Speaker 1: big Trump lie that the last election was stolen. And
- 33:45Speaker 1: so now what they're doing is listen to me carefully, y'all.
- 33:48Speaker 1: They are setting it up so they can cheat and
- 33:53Speaker 1: say this is what y'all did. That's why they holding
- 33:56Speaker 1: on to the lie. So when they get busted for
- 33:59Speaker 1: all the stuff they are doing in this new election,
- 34:02Speaker 1: it'll all be okay. They no politicians able to say that.
- 34:07Speaker 1: But I'm not a politician. And if you don't think
- 34:11Speaker 1: that they are preparing to turn Georgia back red, and
- 34:16Speaker 1: Wisconsin and Michigan and Philly and every other place that
- 34:22Speaker 1: flew and Arizona and Pennsylvania and all that, if you
- 34:28Speaker 1: don't think that they are red hot and determine, y'all.
- 34:32Speaker 1: They are trying to prove to people of color again
- 34:38Speaker 1: that voting doesn't matter. So now when we prove to
- 34:43Speaker 1: them in the last election that it did matter, that
- 34:47Speaker 1: we can change the face of an election, they are
- 34:51Speaker 1: now back to the business of, oh, no, you can't.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And so voter suppression is real. They are doing stuff, man,
- 34:59Speaker 1: this election that is so cunning, so slick, and setting
- 35:03Speaker 1: them up to start taking back some positions. We cannot
- 35:08Speaker 1: allow this to happen. We are voting in November. All
- 35:13Speaker 1: of these Republican tactics. I'm telling you, man, nothing has
- 35:16Speaker 1: made me sicker than this Herschel Walker man, because I
- 35:20Speaker 1: know what they're doing. They gives Warnock, who is African American.
- 35:26Speaker 1: They said, let's get us an African American because you know,
- 35:30Speaker 1: they just vote for people because they black, and let's
- 35:33Speaker 1: confuse them at the polls. He played football and we'll
- 35:37Speaker 1: split the black vote and our candidate will get in. No,
- 35:40Speaker 1: it's not because all the white people gonna vote for Hershel.
- 35:44Speaker 1: That's right, all right, Thank you for coming Ablican white
- 35:49Speaker 1: and Republican blacks too too. Coming up at twenty minutes
- 35:53Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll talk about Lebron James and his
- 35:56Speaker 1: family on the cover of Vanity Fair. Right after this well,
- 36:03Speaker 1: NBA star King Lebron James and his beautiful wife Savannah
- 36:07Speaker 1: James are killing it on the cover of Vanity Fair.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Savannah is simply stunning and all of her looks. The
- 36:14Speaker 1: article features the James, Lebron, Savannah and their children Bronnie,
- 36:18Speaker 1: Bryce and Zuri. Lebron is entering his twentieth year, twentieth
- 36:23Speaker 1: year in the NBA, and he is more than just
- 36:26Speaker 1: an athlete. We all know Lebron will not just shut
- 36:29Speaker 1: up and dribble. In the Fanity Fair article, Lebron and
- 36:32Speaker 1: Savannah talk about their family dynamic and supporting their children's dreams. So, Steve,
- 36:38Speaker 1: you know, we have to say, of course that we
- 36:40Speaker 1: love Lebron, James Russell Wilson, Jay z You, Steve Harvey,
- 36:45Speaker 1: of course, uh, former President Barack Obama, and all the
- 36:48Speaker 1: brothers out there who love, love, love their beautiful wives.
- 36:52Speaker 1: You know, President Barack Obama just said Michelle Obama was
- 36:56Speaker 1: fine just last week. Love that. So here's the question, Steve,
- 37:02Speaker 1: why is it so important to teach young men that
- 37:05Speaker 1: black women are to be protected, loved and respected. You
- 37:09Speaker 1: can speak on this for sure. Well, I mean, you know, look,
- 37:12Speaker 1: as much credit as we as men get for what
- 37:16Speaker 1: we do and what we provide. We get a lot
- 37:19Speaker 1: of credit for being great entertainers, great performers, great business people,
- 37:24Speaker 1: great athletes. We get a lot of credit for that.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I don't think enough credit is given to the role
- 37:33Speaker 1: that men play as husbands and as fathers. And that's
- 37:39Speaker 1: important because the family dynamic has always been a target
- 37:46Speaker 1: for the system, even as far as welfare goals you know,
- 37:52Speaker 1: they won't give a mother a check and won't give
- 37:55Speaker 1: you financial aid that there's a man present in the home.
- 37:59Speaker 1: So that does promote male female relationships. The prison system
- 38:07Speaker 1: is sole misaligned with the incarceration of people of color.
- 38:12Speaker 1: And all the time when this is going on, who
- 38:15Speaker 1: is left holding the bag but the woman. The woman
- 38:21Speaker 1: is having to hold it down and together on so
- 38:24Speaker 1: many levels for so many things. And when you see
- 38:29Speaker 1: the structure in place and it's working, like I think
- 38:33Speaker 1: of Lebron James and all he's accomplished, but not enough
- 38:36Speaker 1: focuses on the great father and husband he is. But
- 38:41Speaker 1: he's that way because of Savannah. You can be a
- 38:44Speaker 1: successful brother without a woman, but you will never be
- 38:48Speaker 1: a great man without a woman. There are no great
- 38:51Speaker 1: men in history without women. And because women are the
- 38:54Speaker 1: missing Lincoln the ingredient. And to promote that, it's evident
- 38:58Speaker 1: because we need more of that in our society, our culture,
- 39:01Speaker 1: promoting family like real Swiss and all of these other
- 39:05Speaker 1: people out here that's doing it the right way, more
- 39:08Speaker 1: so many more. I don't have time to a mention
- 39:11Speaker 1: that's true. All right, thank you, Steve. Coming up at
- 39:13Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll check your boysmail
- 39:16Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right after this, you're
- 39:20Speaker 1: listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, Steve, it's time
- 39:25Speaker 1: to check your boysmail. If you want to leave Steve
- 39:27Speaker 1: a boysmail, you can do it by calling him at
- 39:29Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine Steve. Operators are standing by
- 39:34Speaker 1: this caller Steve. His name is Anthony. He had a
- 39:36Speaker 1: question about dressing to impress. Hey, Steve, this Anthony. I'm
- 39:41Speaker 1: just calling give some advice. You know, you're the best
- 39:44Speaker 1: guy around that dresses, I think, and I have an
- 39:49Speaker 1: opportunity for always coming up for one of my dream jobs.
- 39:52Speaker 1: And you know you kind of addressed to impress, you
- 39:55Speaker 1: kind of gott you know, sell you theself. I was
- 39:58Speaker 1: just trying to look for a little but advice. Black suit,
- 40:03Speaker 1: white shirt, black tie, black suit, white shirt, black tie,
- 40:12Speaker 1: very classy, very understated, but very stateful. It makes a statement.
- 40:21Speaker 1: A black suit, a white shirt, a black tip. It's
- 40:25Speaker 1: non offensive. It don't give a person on the other
- 40:29Speaker 1: side of the desks to talk about. I don't like
- 40:32Speaker 1: read while you wear red tiwn like green tat no, no, nothing,
- 40:36Speaker 1: no see when you go in there, simple that's why
- 40:40Speaker 1: you notice Anthony. At all black tie events, all men
- 40:43Speaker 1: look damn near the same, which I hate, but they
- 40:46Speaker 1: all look the same. They got on that black tug
- 40:49Speaker 1: seed though, that white shirt and that little as black
- 40:51Speaker 1: boat tip, and they all sit up there. You won't
- 40:54Speaker 1: see two women in that holy bent with the same
- 40:56Speaker 1: gown on. Oh, if you do, it's a problem for
- 41:00Speaker 1: cause women know how to do it. Men oftentimes have
- 41:05Speaker 1: to play it safe. If you go on the golf
- 41:07Speaker 1: course in the summertime and they last one of them
- 41:12Speaker 1: dudes got on shorts, all of them. Where there were
- 41:17Speaker 1: khaki shorts, gray shorts, blue shorts, cargo shorts. They just
- 41:23Speaker 1: don't you got the play it safe, played classy, played dignified, Anthony.
- 41:28Speaker 1: You cannot lose or blow the job in a black suit,
- 41:31Speaker 1: a white shirt and a black tip. You can get
- 41:34Speaker 1: opinions in any other colors, but no one is upset
- 41:38Speaker 1: with classic black. Nobody going to dog. Yeah, all right,
- 41:44Speaker 1: this call left a message about your shirt. More more
- 41:47Speaker 1: wardrobe questions on the publisher's clearinghouse commercial Steve, good morning
- 41:52Speaker 1: in the morning, crew. I just want to say that
- 41:54Speaker 1: that you had on the shirt that goes with that suit.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I don't know if it was orange your peace, but anyway,
- 42:01Speaker 1: it really really brings you out. You look so handsome
- 42:04Speaker 1: and that peach are either orange because my TV shows
- 42:07Speaker 1: two different colors when the sun hit it. Anyway, you
- 42:10Speaker 1: was you was very handsome in that. I love you
- 42:13Speaker 1: in that color. No disrespect in miss Margie. You all
- 42:16Speaker 1: have a wonderful day. It ain't just go ahead with that,
- 42:23Speaker 1: gone run with that, says it ain't disrespectful to thank fine,
- 42:28Speaker 1: just going to do that right there. I sure which
- 42:30Speaker 1: timy was hit to hit it, thank you, baby, and
- 42:34Speaker 1: I just wanted to further blow my own self up.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I don't really think it was the shirt you was feeling.
- 42:39Speaker 1: But we're just try not to be so damn disrespectful.
- 42:42Speaker 1: So they're just gonna leave it at the ship. Thank you.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Those colors were beautiful, though, Stevens. You had on, you
- 42:47Speaker 1: have on. They really are. They do pop off the screen.
- 42:50Speaker 1: They really are nice and people are noticing, all right,
- 42:54Speaker 1: this color. Michael Publish just cleared out baby back in
- 42:58Speaker 1: the beers. I know, uh, Michael, this is this is
- 43:02Speaker 1: a calling Michael. He was a guest on your TV

- 45:20Speaker 1: actually wasn't here, but you gave it to one of
- 45:22Speaker 1: my salespersons. And yes you wanted to get it resized
- 45:26Speaker 1: as well as as get it a praise. Correct, Yes, yes, yes,
- 45:29Speaker 1: and you don't have to tell him up to be
- 45:30Speaker 1: a bit on my own. Okay, wow, okay, listen, I
- 45:36Speaker 1: actually do to resize the ring. And first of all,
- 45:38Speaker 1: let me be the first to say, um, congratulations, when
- 45:42Speaker 1: when is your wedding? Thank you? I'm getting married and stuff?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Come there. Well, congratulations to listen. I don't know how
- 45:48Speaker 1: to tell you this now. As far as the appraiser
- 45:50Speaker 1: less concern. I've looked at your ring over and over
- 45:53Speaker 1: and this ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars. Excuse me,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I've been I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 46:04Speaker 1: But you know what, I'm confused on what you just said.
- 46:07Speaker 1: And I understand that. What I'm trying to explain to
- 46:08Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for over
- 46:10Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 46:13Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 46:17Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is
- 46:20Speaker 1: a Cubic Sclonian stone and the gold is not real
- 46:25Speaker 1: at all. It's like, wait, you wait, you lost me.
- 46:28Speaker 1: You lost me as much money as my pen make
- 46:30Speaker 1: and as much money as my father is putting down
- 46:33Speaker 1: on his wedding or has put down. And you're gonna
- 46:36Speaker 1: understand everything you're saying. But Denise, honestly don't know. What
- 46:39Speaker 1: I need you to do is hold on. Wait wait.
- 46:41Speaker 1: I need you to hold on because we need to convictims.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Wait wait man. First of all, I can't wait, wait, wait,
- 46:49Speaker 1: wait wait wait, hold on'y you wait, wait wait, what
- 46:56Speaker 1: are you trying to what you're trying to do, sir?
- 46:58Speaker 1: I need I need you to repeat what you just
- 47:01Speaker 1: said to me. Okay, I personal stuff, man, you oh
- 47:06Speaker 1: you hit it. It's personal now, so I need you
- 47:08Speaker 1: to hold on. Okay, oh she called her man. Okay,
- 47:15Speaker 1: thank thank Hello, Victim. I want to listen to this
- 47:19Speaker 1: juela that's on the phone. I want you to hit it.
- 47:21Speaker 1: And he just told me what's the problem. What you mean,
- 47:23Speaker 1: what's the problem. He's gonna tell you what the problem is.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Gonna hit on, sir, gonna hit on. Who? Hello, Yeah,
- 47:29Speaker 1: who's this all right? My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds.
- 47:32Speaker 1: And actually your wife, I mean where your fiance rather,
- 47:35Speaker 1: she brought her ring in to actually be resized. Yeah,
- 47:39Speaker 1: and we we also did an appraisal on the ring
- 47:41Speaker 1: for her. And actually the ring is estimated to be only,
- 47:46Speaker 1: in the words of around fifty dollars. Fifty dollars fifty
- 47:51Speaker 1: that's what the man said, do sir. Obviously there's some
- 47:56Speaker 1: sort of mistake, sir. Now, what you got to say
- 47:58Speaker 1: about that, Victual? Hit it, doll That's that's got to
- 48:01Speaker 1: be some kind of mistakes. But what'd you say your
- 48:03Speaker 1: name was, sir? My name is Gavin. I work here
- 48:05Speaker 1: at Diamonds. I'm the head jeweler here. I've been here
- 48:07Speaker 1: for twenty years. And there's there's no way that that
- 48:11Speaker 1: ring is worth fifty dollars. I know what I paid
- 48:13Speaker 1: for it. So obviously there's some sort of mistakes. There's
- 48:16Speaker 1: not a mistake. I've been dealing with jury, I've seen it.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I couldn't pretty much look at a ring, but I
- 48:22Speaker 1: actually went into detail on this one, as I do
- 48:24Speaker 1: all of them, and so I promise you this is
- 48:26Speaker 1: probably maybe between forty and fifty dollars for his workers. Now,
- 48:31Speaker 1: absolutely not. That's that's impossible. How is that impossible? He's
- 48:35Speaker 1: a jeweler. You heard him say, he's been doing it
- 48:36Speaker 1: for twenty he's the highest impossible. I don't understand all
- 48:40Speaker 1: the money that my dad is putting down on this wedding,
- 48:42Speaker 1: and you don't pay fifty You bought a cheap ring, sir, No, no, no,
- 48:47Speaker 1: I did not buy a team. This is this is
- 48:50Speaker 1: this is obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it.
- 48:52Speaker 1: You got that right, you show got that right. So
- 48:55Speaker 1: what you got to say for yourself, then you can't.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I believe it. That's right, that this is obviously some
- 49:01Speaker 1: kind of missacer. Oh it is a mistake. I'm thinking
- 49:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna get married to the man of my dream.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I do have the engagement ring that was purchased and
- 49:09Speaker 1: bought for your wife. No, I don't think you I
- 49:11Speaker 1: don't think you do. I don't think you have my ring,
- 49:13Speaker 1: because if you have my ring, you wouldn't be telling
- 49:15Speaker 1: me this is worse fifty dollars. I have the ring
- 49:18Speaker 1: that your wife, your fiance brought his wife. Yet hold on,
- 49:22Speaker 1: hold on, the man trying to explain. I'm trying to
- 49:24Speaker 1: get to the bot. Thank you, So you have I
- 49:28Speaker 1: don't think he has the right ring. I have the
- 49:30Speaker 1: right ring. And what I'm letting you know, sir, is
- 49:32Speaker 1: that this is something you buy on an infomercial in
- 49:35Speaker 1: two oclock in the morning. Dude, you know I ain't
- 49:39Speaker 1: bott a damn ring on infomercial. I bought the ring
- 49:41Speaker 1: from a reputable establishment. I have the receipt, I have
- 49:45Speaker 1: the certificate. So obviously the mistake is on your and
- 49:48Speaker 1: where you are the mistakes now here? Sir. You bought
- 49:51Speaker 1: a piece of jump. He's been doing it all these years.
- 49:54Speaker 1: How him he's gonna make a mistake. You come off
- 49:57Speaker 1: telling me I bought a piece of jump. I know
- 49:58Speaker 1: what I bought. If there's any stakes has been made,
- 50:01Speaker 1: it's on your end world, where it's not on my end. Yeah.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Hold don't. Words of all, don't, lady, if you want
- 50:08Speaker 1: things that my dad has had too much money for
- 50:10Speaker 1: this wedding, So your doll's gonna pay fifty dollars dollars? Wait,
- 50:14Speaker 1: I tell him this, chill. Hold on. First of all,
- 50:17Speaker 1: I don't appreciate you. I want to tell you this.
- 50:19Speaker 1: This is a typical case of you trying to put
- 50:21Speaker 1: it off for us because you bought a piece off
- 50:24Speaker 1: for fifty bucks. I'm the money that you don't make it.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I get fifty dollars worth of a ring, then he's
- 50:29Speaker 1: hold on, let me talk to this. Where are you
- 50:30Speaker 1: gonna get dollars? I never heard of it. So your
- 50:36Speaker 1: wife knows exactly where that she's the one that brought
- 50:38Speaker 1: the ring. And I'll tell you what. I'm gonna come
- 50:40Speaker 1: down there to see the ring that you're talking about.
- 50:42Speaker 1: If it's not the ring that I gave my girl,
- 50:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna take seventy six hundred dollars out of your
- 50:47Speaker 1: because that's so. Now you want to jump on me
- 50:51Speaker 1: because you bought your wife a piece. Come on, you
- 50:54Speaker 1: want to put it on me? You you don't tell
- 50:56Speaker 1: me what the I don't know what the I spin
- 50:58Speaker 1: on the ring and you I don't kind of you're
- 51:00Speaker 1: trying to pull. First of all, I don't appreciate you
- 51:02Speaker 1: coming in my household trying to mess my and you
- 51:04Speaker 1: want to come to me with this one. I know
- 51:06Speaker 1: the rings better be real. If I were you, miss
- 51:09Speaker 1: de niece, I would not marry somebody that's gonna be
- 51:12Speaker 1: I'm coming there. I'm looking for your pocket and you
- 51:14Speaker 1: know what, you don't get the ring in a right man,
- 51:17Speaker 1: you're gonna go in it. Can I say one more
- 51:19Speaker 1: thing to both of you? Are better? I tell you
- 51:21Speaker 1: what if they did, I want to hear me, and
- 51:22Speaker 1: you're gonna have some more problems. This is nephew telling
- 51:25Speaker 1: me from the Steve Harvin Morning Show. Y'all just got

- 53:42Speaker 1: never know, it could be yours, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you, Steve.
- 53:51Speaker 1: Subject my own daughter put me on blast. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:56Speaker 1: I'm a fifty two year old married woman, but my
- 53:59Speaker 1: husband and I have been at odds for a few
- 54:01Speaker 1: years because he is a cheater. I never caught him,
- 54:06Speaker 1: but all of his mannerisms changed and we stopped being intimate.
- 54:10Speaker 1: The arguments got so bad that I stopped talking to
- 54:13Speaker 1: him altogether and focused more on my kids and my
- 54:16Speaker 1: promotion at work. I filled a boid in my marriage
- 54:20Speaker 1: with the side piece that happens to work at a
- 54:22Speaker 1: car dealership, and he is as fine as frog here.
- 54:26Speaker 1: He was flirting heavily with me when I bought a
- 54:28Speaker 1: new sub from him. He suggested that we break in
- 54:31Speaker 1: the third row of my new truck, so we did
- 54:35Speaker 1: for weeks. After that, I would drive to his job
- 54:38Speaker 1: and we got busy in the third row of my truck.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I'm sure his coworkers knew we were having sex, so
- 54:44Speaker 1: I was taking a big risk because one of them
- 54:47Speaker 1: goes to my church. I didn't care. The sex was
- 54:50Speaker 1: too good and it was so much fun. But after
- 54:53Speaker 1: a month of great sex, it all came to a
- 54:56Speaker 1: screeching halt. On the day of my eight year old
- 54:59Speaker 1: daughter's f day, I picked up four of her friends
- 55:02Speaker 1: for the party at the skating rink. My daughter got
- 55:05Speaker 1: on the third row of the suv and her friends
- 55:08Speaker 1: piled in. My husband drove his car, and when we
- 55:11Speaker 1: got to the skating rink, my daughter gave her dad
- 55:14Speaker 1: a cufflink. My husband said it wasn't his cufflink, and
- 55:18Speaker 1: he looked directly at me. I walked. I walked on
- 55:23Speaker 1: into the skating rink and got the girl situated in
- 55:25Speaker 1: the party room. My husband got all up in my
- 55:29Speaker 1: face and asked what I had been doing in my
- 55:32Speaker 1: suv and where the cufflink came from. I ignored him.
- 55:36Speaker 1: My daughter put me on blast, But I don't feel
- 55:38Speaker 1: like I owe him an explanation, or do I should
- 55:41Speaker 1: I come clean with him? This letter, This letter got
- 55:47Speaker 1: me upset. It really did, because what you're not gonna do, mom,
- 55:52Speaker 1: is blame the baby for your cheating. You're just not
- 55:56Speaker 1: going to do that. You were messing around in your
- 55:58Speaker 1: truck with a car sale and you got busted. Period.
- 56:03Speaker 1: The child was absolutely justified in giving the cufflink to
- 56:06Speaker 1: her dad. Of course she thought it was her dad.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I mean, this is an eight year old daughter, your
- 56:12Speaker 1: eight year old daughter. She doesn't know anything about all
- 56:15Speaker 1: of this. I just think you're wrong, Mom. You didn't
- 56:18Speaker 1: check behind yourself. Your salesman didn't realize he left the cufflink,
- 56:22Speaker 1: and you you just got caught, both of you guys.
- 56:25Speaker 1: You know, basically, that's it, that's all, and it's on you,
- 56:29Speaker 1: no one else but choose. That's proof of your cheating.
- 56:32Speaker 1: You said you never caught your husband. It was just
- 56:34Speaker 1: the fact that his mannerisms changed and he cuts you off.
- 56:38Speaker 1: But still no evidence. You know, there was no earring,
- 56:41Speaker 1: lying around, no hair, no underwear, etc. But you, my dear,
- 56:46Speaker 1: left evidence. It was still it's still double standard in
- 56:50Speaker 1: this world concerning men and women, meaning you can't do
- 56:52Speaker 1: what I do, and that's just the way men think.
- 56:55Speaker 1: That's why he was all up in your face about
- 56:57Speaker 1: the cufflink. And you still have no proof. He doesn't
- 57:00Speaker 1: want you cheating on him though, So no, you don't
- 57:03Speaker 1: owe him an explanation. And please know that if you
- 57:06Speaker 1: tell him the truth, your marriage is more than likely over.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Men don't usually stick around when they're women when when
- 57:13Speaker 1: their wives and women cheat on them. I really don't
- 57:16Speaker 1: see how this marriage is going to survive the cufflink.
- 57:19Speaker 1: And again, you have no evidence, Steve, Well, well, surely
- 57:27Speaker 1: did I just hear you say to a woman what
- 57:33Speaker 1: that she doesn't owe her husband an explanation for cheating? No,
- 57:37Speaker 1: I just want to double check that out here you heard. Thanks,
- 57:42Speaker 1: Thank you a little bit of validation. Thank you so much.
- 57:47Speaker 1: My own daughter put me on blast. Fifty two year
- 57:50Speaker 1: old married woman. But your husband and her have been
- 57:54Speaker 1: at odds for some years. Here is the opening line,
- 57:59Speaker 1: because he is a cheater. She said that in the
- 58:03Speaker 1: first opening statement. They have been at odds because he
- 58:07Speaker 1: is a cheater. Next statement right after that, I never
- 58:11Speaker 1: called him. Oh oh oh, we have a loophole in
- 58:18Speaker 1: the contract. We have a get out of jail free card. M.
- 58:25Speaker 1: We have grounds for dismissal. Wow, we have unsubstantiated statements.
- 58:36Speaker 1: We have all of this that I would be using.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Right after you said I never called him. Then he
- 58:46Speaker 1: comes to proof she thinks she has. But all of
- 58:49Speaker 1: his mannerisms changed and we stopped being empty. You didn't
- 58:55Speaker 1: mention that any of your mannerisms might have changed, and
- 59:01Speaker 1: you didn't mention that maybe you stopped initiating sex. You
- 59:09Speaker 1: just dumped it all on him in this letter. The
- 59:12Speaker 1: argument's got so bad that I stopped talking to him.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Now y'all ain't even talking all together, and focus more
- 59:21Speaker 1: my kids and my promotion at work. Then you said,
- 59:24Speaker 1: I feel a void in my marriage with a side
- 59:27Speaker 1: piece that happens to work at a car dealership. And
- 59:31Speaker 1: he is the fine that frog help our hell. You
- 59:35Speaker 1: the cheatah in the letter. And you know what what
- 59:40Speaker 1: proof we have and ad mission of guilt. You said this.
- 59:48Speaker 1: You ain't caught him, but you said this. So now
- 59:51Speaker 1: this letter has turned. When we come back the results
- 59:56Speaker 1: of the leather turning from the Chief Love Office, All right,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: hang on, Chief Love Officer, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: your response Steve coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: subject of today's Strawberry letter, my own daughter put me
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: on blast. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject my daughter my own daughter
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: put me on blast. Yeah, this ain't the problem though, No,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: it's this fifty hugh old married woman that I was
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: her husband, because she says her husband's a cheetah. Then
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: she turns around and says, I never called this. She
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: turned around and said, but all his mannerisms changed and
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: we stopped being intimate. So now ain't neither one of
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: y'all initiating sex at the house? You all him, and
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: the arguments got so bad that I stopped talking to
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: him all together. So now she ain't even speaking to
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: her man at the house, and he ain't speaking and
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: everybody cool with this. You know why everybody cool with
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: this because everybody doing what they want to do. I
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: could assured you that because ain't no man coming in
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the house, you ain't talking to him and sleeping with him,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and then he ain't going somewhere talking and sleeping time.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Ain't no man walking in no house with no woman
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: that ain't talking to him or sleeping with him, and
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: he ain't going somewhere else talking and sleeping. But who
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you know? Who you know? Nothing to do that. I
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: do not let you move on. But then, since the
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: argument has got so bad, need to stop talking. She
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: focused on her kids and her promotion at work. Oh no,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you didn't, you said right after that, I feel the
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: board in my marriage with a side piece that happens
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: to work at a car dealership, and and he's as
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: fine at frog Cat and he was flirting heavy with
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: me when I bought a new SUV from him. Oh
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: so now the real cheatah, in this letter with proof
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: is you, and the proof is you admitted. I don't
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: know why you told us this stupidity me, but we
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: need people like you to keep these letters alive. So yeah,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: this segment would have been over if it wasn't for stupidity.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: We need stupid people. He suggested that we break in
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: the third row of my new truck, so we did
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: for weeks. After that, I would drive to his job
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: and we got busy in the third row of my truck.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I'm sure his co workers knew we were having sex,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: so I was taking a big risk because one of
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: them go to my church. So all it took was
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: for somebody to say, let's break in your third row,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: so we did. I'll be damned. I've been taking people
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to dinning, sending flowers and notes with gifts in it,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: being romantic. I give me a back row on truck
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: and want of them go to my church. And I
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: didn't care. She didn't care. Sex was too good and
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: it was so much fun. But after month of great sex,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: it all came to a speeching hall. On the date
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: my eight year old daughter's birthday party, I picked up
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: four of her friends for the party at skate and rink.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: My daughter got in the third row to ask you,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: being her friends piled in. My husband drove his car.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: When we got to the skate and rink, my daughter
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: gave her dad a cuffley. My husband said it wasn't
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: his comfley, and he looked directly at me. Well, now
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: why would he look directly at you? Come on, well,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: let's y'all ain't talking. Y'all ain't having sex, so y'all
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: ain't doing nothing. So now he didn't find your baby
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to found the Coffley car. So now now he won't
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: talk now, or now you won't have conversation at the
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: damned skating rink, right. I walked into the skating rink
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and got the girls situated in the party room. My
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: husband got all up in my face and asked me
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: what I had been doing in my suv and where
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: the cofflet came from. I ignored him, as you shoot
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: my daughter put me on blast. Well, your daughter didn't
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: really put your little blast. Your daughter found the coffleyt
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: and know the comflicts is normally she's seen her daddy
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: with a couflint go and brought her daddy. You go
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: your comflict Because the baby don't know y'all having mail
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: to issues. She knows something ain't right. But y'all acting
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: a little strange with each other. I wonder how go.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: My mom and daddy don't never talk like your mom
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: and daddy. Yeah, but we already know why because y'all
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: out there screw and the other people. So y'all ain't
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: got to talk. You've been on that back row of
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: that damn truck, just messing it all up. It's losing value.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Your truck is losing value. And even if you take
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: that same book, same damn truck back to that car
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: dealership with that same salesman you bought it for, he
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: ain't he gonna He knows that the third seat is damaged.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: So now you ain't even gonna get true blue book
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: value for your game because he already. No, I'm telling
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: you this salesman, No, what's been happening back in that seat? Yeah?
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Should I come clean with him? What it's over? Come clean? Hell? No?
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? Stupid? For the first time, Shirley said,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: And this is why I'm using this. Shirley, who adamantly
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: always promotes the truth, Shirley who always adam adamantly promotes
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: being true to the other person, Shirley who always he
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: wants to know why me and lie to set up here,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: told this woman not to say nothing. That is a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: form of a lot, and I'll support that. You should
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: now heal No, you don't owe him no explanation. Quite Comfley,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: You ain't never been on the third role, and you
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: don't know whooping back there. Some service man been back
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: there something, and it is a service man because he
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: was servicing you. We gotta go. Post your comments on
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: A young college student needs your advice. His name is EJ.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: EJ wrote on Facebook. Somehow the fact that my girlfriend
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: and I have an intimate relationship became big upsetting news.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: My parents invited us on a weekend vacation and apparently
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: assumed that we would want separate rooms. When we laughed,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: they got all in their feelings and offended because they
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: paid for a third room without ever asking us. Now,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: it's all kinds of awkward, even though we're both adults
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and in college. I know they're old fashioned, but come now,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: come on, I'm not even sure we should go. Now,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: how much more awkward does this have the potential to
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: be to get assuming we even go through with it? Now, Well,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: listen to me, young man. First of all, it's called
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: playing the game. Go on a vacation, let them take
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: the extra rule. Set your girls stuff up in her room.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: You set your stuff up in your room at night.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Y'all gonna do what y'all gonna do, because y'all already
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: doing it, you're not going to stop. And now the
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: parents with this being a Paul, you can be a Paul,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: but this is the reality of what happens. Now, they
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: all in college. You invited them to go on vacation
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: together with y'all. Right, what y'all thought was gonna happen.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: So listen to me, young man. This is how you
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: play the game. Play the game. Say mom, dad, you're
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: absolutely correct. We're just gonna go and we'll have a
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: great time. Y'all gonna be tucked all up under each other.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: And then the night your old ass mom and daddy
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: gonna go to bed. I'm going over there to the room. Dog. Now,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be able to get up earlier than them,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: so they're gonna find out your dass ain't. So now
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: there's no way you can get up earlier than old people,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: so they gonna find out. Just say, hey, mom, I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: was over there. We was watching movies and I fell asleep.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: My bad. Yeah, that's all you got to do. But
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: go and do the respectable thing and just play the game. Yeah,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: because a lot of old school parents feel that if
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: you're not married, you shouldn't be sleeping in the same room. Listens, college,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: come around us, dad, Can my girlfriend come here? Dad?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Can my boyfriend come here? And I got grown kids, yeah,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: and I've had them all the way through. They're welcome
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: to come now. They can't stay in your room out
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: of respect for my house. Right, I got what y'all
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: may be doing. But here's your room overhire, and here's
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: her room over here. Now, if y'all want to sleep
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: with each other, and y'all need to go get a room,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: just respect the house because I'm not the fitted be
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: in my house and here sounds that ain't what we
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: fit to do. All right, Steve coming up at the
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: top of the hour, we'll talk about divorce. Oh, right
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: after this, you're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Actor and
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: singer Tyrese is going through a messy divorce from his
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: estranged wife, Samantha. Tyrese doesn't want to pay spousal support,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: he wants their pre nup enforced, and he's requesting joint
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: physical and legal custody of their daughter. Well. The other day,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Tyrese went live on IG and he was talking about
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: when other people are in your business. Take a listen.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: It takes two to table Mama, your daddy, yo, whoever
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: could be all in your ear talking about your husband
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: every day, and it takes you to listen to it.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: It takes you to believe it. And it also takes
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: you to see this, see things through the lens that
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: your mama wants you to see things through. You see
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: what I'm saying. When you're an adult, you're gonna listen
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: to a lot of people. Why are you with him?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Why he ain't at home? Girl? He been? I would
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: never let nobody treat me and talk to me like that.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Everybody got to say about your marriage and your relationship,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: but they would take your man in a minute, They
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: would take your man and a hobscivity jump at a minute.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: They talking about your life, but they actually want your life. Okay, yeah, okay,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: I don't even I don't know what for a lord.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: All I have to say is everybody got something to say,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: if you're gonna provide them something to say. See, if
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you would just quit giving people stuff to talk about,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: less people would be in your business talking about it.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I just don't think you can solve your marriage or
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: fix your trouble orline and fix it with communication and counsel.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: What is this thing, Steve about people putting their personal
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: intimate business out for the world to see on social media?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: What is that? I don't you know what I think
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: it is with a lot of people. A lot of
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: people think, first of all, we care that that's first
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: as it's somebody care, like we've got enough of our own. Yeah.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: And then average person that goes live they really think
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: they ask is deep. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of people talking because they
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: think what they're saying ain't ever been said before. I've
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: been to say something so profound to show people the
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: depth of what I'm thinking and to show them what
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I'm going through right right, And Carla, people, I don't
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: think people care unless you put it out there for
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: them to care. We wouldn't even know. What I'm saying.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Is people care a celebrities? They're nosy? Yeah. Yeah, So
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: that's why these websites and TMZ, Yeah, that's very true
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: exists because people are nosy about celebrities and then they
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: want you throw darts to give their opinions about it.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: But I think what Steve is saying is, don't give
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: them a pin to stick you with. You don't have
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: to reveal everything. Celebrities have the ability to draw more clicks.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: But if that's your objective is to get clicks, then
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: just I just don't I don't like, I don't understand
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: the pouring out of yourself to the public, airing out
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: your dirty laundry in public, celebrity or not. And then
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: the other thing, right, celebrity or not. And this ain't
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: about that reach. This is about anybody. Yeah, all we're
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: hearing is your side, yes, oh please, no, there is
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: another side. Yeah, And like my mother and fathers tell
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: me all side. It's three sides to every story. It's
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: your side, is they side? And it's the truth, the truth,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: and you need to hear both sides for you know
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: the truth. People kill me just blurting out they wait, right,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: because if you hit that all the person's story. Oh
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: oh hey, bro, you might not beat a little smelling
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: like a rose, you thank you, how you might be
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: a little golf fall, you know. All right? All right,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: you're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Roscoe's Chicken
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: an Waffles finds itself in a tough spot just twenty
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: four hours after rapper PMB rocks murder. It's a crisis
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: many businesses are facing amid a violent crime wave. When
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: and how to resume normal operations. According to TMZ, the
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Roscoe's where the rapper was killed was open for business
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: on Tuesday. The restaurant was fully functioning and had been
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: cleared cleaned after Monday's horrible incident. Prior to the shooting,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: PMB's girlfriend posted a picture of the couple's meal with
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: their location and that's when police say that after that
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: he was a target for a robbery and when he
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: was shot and killed. This is really, really such a sad,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: sad story. You know, it's a horrible state that we
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: live in. It really is. I mean, you know, posting
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: this stuff, and you know, everybody trying to blame this
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: girl for posting, for posting. Dude, we just took a
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: picture of some food. How would you think so harmless
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: that if I take a picture of a plate of
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: chicken and some whoppers, that's somebody gonna come in here
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: and kill us. Who thinks like that? So I wish
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: everybody would stop blaming this young girl. She's going through enough.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: She was right there with the kid got killed. We
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: live in man, This world right here is so sick,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: and we and our young men, we are losing our
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: young men to these types of actions of violence without
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: any forethought to consequences in the future, and all disregard
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: for human life. That's right, Jesus, All right? Coming up
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll have more
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: listening Morning show. It is time now for a round
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: of would you rather here we go, Steve, would you
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: rather go on a silent meditation retreat for a week
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: or would you rather spend a weekend with someone who
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: doesn't know when to stop talking? We know what you're
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: gonna say, Either silent meditation or part give me a
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: fishing rod, just be out there fishing and chilling. But
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: when you're you don't know when to stop talking. But
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: you're with you're with someone. I know somebody like that
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: right now to just run his dad. He a guy
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: who all the time he can't shut up. I never
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: seen nothing like it. Have you ever, like? Yeah, have
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: you ever said shut up? Or be quite? Do? Do?
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: You can't everything you think? Wait? Hold up? You said
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: that to someone because we say that to you on
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: the record. I'm shot right now. I give my thoughts
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: to what I'm thinking, but I don't see up and
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: go oh man, I'm breathing. Oh it's every thought. Yeah, Well,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: whose coffee cup was day? All right? Would you rather
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: what all I got to do today? But nobody give
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: a damn? Would you rather have everything you eat be
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: too salty or not salty enough? No? Not salty enough? Yeah, no, no,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: no matter that too salty is horrid. Yes, you can't
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: enjoy it? Yeah, yeah, I hate that. You're right, all right, Steve.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Would you rather have a mosquito bite on your butt? Okay?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Or would you rather have a mosquito bite on the
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: bottom of your foot? Well? I hardly get to eat
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: the one, but on your booty though, on your booty scratch.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: I take it on the bottom my foot and just
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: get a walk it off. Really, that's one I've had
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: that before that I ain't gonna scratch it, though I
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: know how to play that stuff off. I'm from the
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: country out stuff. I just play it off. How would Yeah,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: it's a mosquito bite. Can't hit right now? Could keep
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: I'm at work, but see, I'll be busy all the time,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: so it's easy for me to ignore a lot of stuff.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: So that mosquito bite ain't gonna eat my life up.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Like my sun burned my arms playing golf into Bahamas
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: because I forgot that one day to put my son
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Ta lotion on my arms. And man, these bad boys
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: is itching me. Oh god, I really look like a
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: snake in a couple of days. Up. Oh, I'd be
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: glad when you're going to get started. But once it starts,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I speed the process up. I take a hair brush
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: and I brush my arms. Yeah, you can put some
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: olive on it too. I missed that part of it.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: I got sunburn one time, really bad. I bought real
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: alavia and sliced it and put it on that. Yeah
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: that that stopped it from ever peeling in anything. Yeah,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: that real alavero is the truth. I waited too late
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: for that day. Okay, I've learned so much. Yes we yeah,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: all right? Coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: It's our last break of the day, and we'll have
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, guys. Here we
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: are our last break of the day. Um, we gotta
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: give our condolences out to renowned jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: out of Chicago. His music entertained fans for more than
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: sixty years. Um. He passed away in a sleep at

- 1:24:55Speaker 1: I think. Look, death is a part of life, right, yes,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: but it doesn't change the difficulty of it. Yeah, the
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: timing of it, all of it. The part about death
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: is we all know it's coming, it's inevitable, but the
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: timing is never right. I ain't ever seen it hit
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: at the right time. Because even if you know somebody
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: is ill, the news of their demise, it's crazy. We
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: always hold out the hope and the faith that they'll
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: be all right, even if you know they're sick. So
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: the timing of the death always comes with a measure
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: of pain, and it's an undescribable pain. So all we
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: can do is live the best life we can to
