- 2:23Speaker 1: If you're trying to be successful, this message is for you.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Let me help you understand something real clear. You ain't
- 2:31Speaker 1: gonna make it the way you want to, and you're
- 2:35Speaker 1: not going to make it to the heights that's fully
- 2:38Speaker 1: out there and available for you without God. And I'm
- 2:42Speaker 1: just keep it real simple and clean for you today.
- 2:45Speaker 1: You're not going to make it the way you want to,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and you're not going to get to the heights that's
- 2:52Speaker 1: available to you without God. You have to get this
- 2:57Speaker 1: through your head. Now, listen to me. You can try
- 3:00Speaker 1: it if you want to, because I did. I'm here
- 3:03Speaker 1: to tell you I am talking purely from experience. Here.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You can try it without God, and you can see
- 3:10Speaker 1: how far you can get. Now, will you have some
- 3:14Speaker 1: measures of success? Of course you will. Will it feel
- 3:17Speaker 1: like days like you might make it? Of course you will,
- 3:20Speaker 1: without a doubt. But let me ask you a question, though.
- 3:23Speaker 1: What you're gonna do about them days when you feel
- 3:25Speaker 1: like you ain't gonna make it. What you're gonna do
- 3:27Speaker 1: about them, days when you feel like giving up. When
- 3:30Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them, days where it feel like
- 3:32Speaker 1: there are no answers to your questions. What you're gonna
- 3:34Speaker 1: do about them days? What you're gonna do about them,
- 3:36Speaker 1: days when everybody laughing that you turn against you. What
- 3:40Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them, days when you just don't
- 3:42Speaker 1: see no way through it? What you're gonna do about
- 3:45Speaker 1: them days? See, I got them, I got the sunshine.
- 3:49Speaker 1: You know sunshine cool? Everybody got friends? When it's Sunday outside,
- 3:52Speaker 1: you want some friends, hit the lotto. You want to
- 3:55Speaker 1: get rid of them friends go ask for some help. Man,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I'm talking about man. They scattered like roaches. When come on,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you. So, now here we go again,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and you can do this without God now because I've
- 4:06Speaker 1: done it, and you can have yourself some measure success.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Let me even hip you to a little bit closer though,
- 4:12Speaker 1: Let me tell you why you are doing it without
- 4:15Speaker 1: God and having some measure of success. Can I tell
- 4:18Speaker 1: you why? Because of God's grace and mercy to us,
- 4:21Speaker 1: because of His grace and mercy trying to keep us
- 4:25Speaker 1: in spite of ourself for the real mission that He
- 4:28Speaker 1: really got for us. See, that's the truth of the
- 4:31Speaker 1: matter now now what we're talking about, nasty See. So yeah, yeah,
- 4:34Speaker 1: you can do it without God, and you can have
- 4:36Speaker 1: some measure success without God. And yeah, you know, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 1: yeah you got your little degree and everything. Yeah you
- 4:41Speaker 1: completed the program, got all that, YadA, YadA YadA. But
- 4:45Speaker 1: don't you know something. It's because of God's grace and
- 4:48Speaker 1: mercy that he helps us anyway when even when we
- 4:51Speaker 1: ain't asking for help, when he bails us out anyway,
- 4:54Speaker 1: when we don't even ask him to be bailed out,
- 4:56Speaker 1: you know why, Because he loves us that much that
- 4:59Speaker 1: he would allow us to exist until we get our
- 5:01Speaker 1: mind together where he could take us away, really trying
- 5:04Speaker 1: to take us. But now, let me tell you something though.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Let's get this real straight and clear today. You can
- 5:11Speaker 1: do this without God if you want to. But I
- 5:14Speaker 1: am telling you to get to where you really want
- 5:16Speaker 1: to be and to be all that God has for you.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You got to have God. There's no ifs ands buts
- 5:24Speaker 1: about it. And let me tell you this here. I
- 5:26Speaker 1: don't really care what nobody had been told you. Are
- 5:30Speaker 1: you listening to me? I don't care what they say.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Don't get this thing twisted. They got these people out
- 5:37Speaker 1: here talking about their luminatis and all listen, man, don't
- 5:40Speaker 1: listen to me. Don't get caught in this mess. Don't
- 5:44Speaker 1: get caught in no foolishness. You were created by God.
- 5:49Speaker 1: God created you, ain't your soul. We were all created
- 5:52Speaker 1: in His image, all of us. Don't get to talk
- 5:56Speaker 1: about you've been to cut a deal with the devil
- 5:58Speaker 1: in all you ain't cut no deal with nobody. Man.
- 6:00Speaker 1: The devil don't do deals. He one sided. I'm taking
- 6:04Speaker 1: you to hell. You going to hell. You're burning in hell.
- 6:06Speaker 1: That's his deal. I want your soul. I want you
- 6:09Speaker 1: to lose hope. I want you to take your life.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I want you to take some other people's lives. I
- 6:14Speaker 1: want you to feel hopeless. I want you to realize
- 6:17Speaker 1: that it ain't no God. That's his whole deal. His
- 6:20Speaker 1: whole deal is negative. Oh he can talk you into
- 6:23Speaker 1: dealing drugs if you want to. But let me tell
- 6:24Speaker 1: you something about this. I watched these shows all the time,
- 6:27Speaker 1: drug ink and all this here, cocaine mafia. Everybody on
- 6:32Speaker 1: now go to jail or get killed. Our prisons is
- 6:35Speaker 1: filled the day with our young boys because they thought
- 6:38Speaker 1: they could outslick the system. They thought they had a way.
- 6:41Speaker 1: They thought they said to them, been here, and they failed.
- 6:43Speaker 1: For the old cliche, man, I gotta do what I
- 6:45Speaker 1: gotta do, I gotta get this money. Well, the only
- 6:48Speaker 1: reason you gotta do what you gotta do is because,
- 6:50Speaker 1: like I say all the time, you didn't do what
- 6:51Speaker 1: you were supposed to do. Had you just done some
- 6:54Speaker 1: of the things you were supposed to do, had you
- 6:56Speaker 1: just stayed in that school when it didn't look right,
- 6:59Speaker 1: But if you had has formed a relationship with God
- 7:02Speaker 1: and gotten rid of that I ain't gonna make it that.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm hopelessness feeling you wouldn't have found yourself doing something
- 7:08Speaker 1: so far out the box got you out here being
- 7:11Speaker 1: in the spirit that don't even belong to you. God
- 7:13Speaker 1: ain't created you to be no dope dealer or no
- 7:15Speaker 1: such a thing or nothing even close to that. See,
- 7:18Speaker 1: let's get your mind right and understand what's going on here.
- 7:22Speaker 1: You know, that's what I need everybody. I need everybody
- 7:26Speaker 1: to get me clearly about this. This is not going
- 7:29Speaker 1: to happen without a relationship with God. It will not
- 7:33Speaker 1: happen for you in any shape, form or fashion. Now
- 7:37Speaker 1: one more time, for those of you that think you're
- 7:40Speaker 1: making it without Him, I want you to understand something clearly.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It is but because of His grace and mercy that
- 7:46Speaker 1: we exist. And God has just taken care of you,
- 7:49Speaker 1: looking out for you. Got some angels encamped around you
- 7:52Speaker 1: until you get your mind right so he can get
- 7:55Speaker 1: you where you're going. But now I want you to
- 7:56Speaker 1: understand something. There's a cause and a consequence and a
- 8:00Speaker 1: toy for everything we do. This outside the will of God.
- 8:03Speaker 1: That's for all of us. All of us have consequences, penalties,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and everything that we got to deal with outside of
- 8:11Speaker 1: the will of God. Understand that clearly. Don't get this
- 8:15Speaker 1: thing twisted sideways. You understand me. You know. I heard
- 8:19Speaker 1: a young man tell me one day. He said, uh, Steve,
- 8:22Speaker 1: you know, man, I just don't see how God looking
- 8:25Speaker 1: out for me, if he would allow all these things
- 8:26Speaker 1: to happen to me. I'm having such a hard time
- 8:29Speaker 1: in my life. I really don't see how there's a
- 8:32Speaker 1: God looking out for me. I live the young man,
- 8:35Speaker 1: I said, the man, it's just something. Man, you're still breathing.
- 8:38Speaker 1: He said, yeah, I'm standing here talking to you. I said,
- 8:40Speaker 1: you're still free. He said what you mean. I said,
- 8:42Speaker 1: you ain't locked up on you said no, I'm standing
- 8:45Speaker 1: here talking to you. I said, where you get them
- 8:46Speaker 1: clothes from? I bought him? I said, where you bought
- 8:49Speaker 1: him with what I bought him with? Money? So where
- 8:51Speaker 1: you get the money from me? So I got a job, mister, huh,
- 8:54Speaker 1: I got a job. I said, well, well where you
- 8:57Speaker 1: live though, he's our our apartment. I said, well where
- 9:00Speaker 1: you your department? It's the Harve I'm working. I got
- 9:02Speaker 1: an apartment. I got a job. I was okay, okay,
- 9:06Speaker 1: So now this this God ain't looking out for you?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Thinkin finish telling me what you're telling me. Well, see, man,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'm having it real hard right now. I said, hey, hey, man,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you are you hungry? You have you had lunch yet?
- 9:18Speaker 1: He said yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all already had lunch yet.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I said, oh, okay, okay, so gone finish. Tell me
- 9:24Speaker 1: about this how God ain't looking out for you? He said, oh.
- 9:27Speaker 1: And you know, man, every every time I try to
- 9:29Speaker 1: do something, it seemed like it go wrong for me.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I said, but let the man something. Man, I say,
- 9:34Speaker 1: every time I go wrong for y'all say, somehow you
- 9:36Speaker 1: survive it. He said, yeah, yeah, I survive it some
- 9:40Speaker 1: kind of way, but it's still be all messed up
- 9:41Speaker 1: for me. I say, but but you still got through
- 9:43Speaker 1: it though, he said yeah. I said, okay, man, gone
- 9:46Speaker 1: finish telling me how God ain't looking out for you?
- 9:49Speaker 1: And he stopped. He said him it is Harvey. He said,
- 9:51Speaker 1: how come every time I tell you something that's going wrong,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you keep telling me God looking out for me? I said,
- 9:56Speaker 1: because you're still here, man, I said, See, you don't
- 9:58Speaker 1: understand it. I said, you seem to think that you're
- 10:01Speaker 1: supposed to just supposed to skate through life, that it's
- 10:04Speaker 1: all supposed to go how you want it, any kind
- 10:06Speaker 1: of way. I said, Man, Jesus to test to your faith,
- 10:08Speaker 1: I say, God looking out for you the whole time.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I say, every time you tell me something going wrong,
- 10:13Speaker 1: you seem to turn around and tell me how you survived,
- 10:16Speaker 1: and you keep telling me what ain't going right, But
- 10:18Speaker 1: you keep telling me all these things you have. I said, man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: so what you gotta do is you gotta stop looking
- 10:22Speaker 1: at what you ain't got, column, and start focusing on
- 10:25Speaker 1: what you do have. Column. But if you ain't happy
- 10:28Speaker 1: with nothing heating done for you, you wanted to keep
- 10:30Speaker 1: piling stuff on, I said, you fail in the test,
- 10:32Speaker 1: young man. The test is are you grateful for where
- 10:35Speaker 1: you are right now? So I could give you more
- 10:38Speaker 1: so we can move forward. He said, oh, man, I
- 10:40Speaker 1: never even looked at like that. I said, well, why
- 10:42Speaker 1: don't you take your blessed cell phone somewhere and sit down?
- 10:44Speaker 1: He said, I think I'm going over here and let
- 10:46Speaker 1: you finish talking. I said, thank you. So sometimes you
- 10:49Speaker 1: just got to look at what you do got, folks,
- 10:51Speaker 1: that's all it is. Okay, you can't make it without
- 10:53Speaker 1: God y'all you got me today? All right, let's be clear,

- 17:53Speaker 1: You've done. You know you shut the room down with that.
- 17:56Speaker 1: All right? So so Jay, um, you have a Valentine's
- 18:00Speaker 1: Day love song for us. Great? This is great. Everybody
- 18:04Speaker 1: who has been in love has been through this. This
- 18:06Speaker 1: happens around the end of love when love starts to leave.
- 18:12Speaker 1: You've been naked, Oh you passed naked. You've been naked.
- 18:17Speaker 1: But excuse me, excuse me, Jay, Wait a minute, you
- 18:20Speaker 1: murdered a love song for Valentine's Day? Is that what
- 18:23Speaker 1: you're saying. It's kind of like a love song. It
- 18:26Speaker 1: just lets you know when the love is gone. This
- 18:29Speaker 1: and just that is very important for a lot of

- 25:24Speaker 1: trying to do with my holder, Holy one, man, I

- 25:34Speaker 1: If I cant your black said my house again, I'm

- 28:58Speaker 1: The Nephew was coming to town West Palm Beach. Baby'll
- 29:01Speaker 1: ca okay, you'll probably have a lot of couples tonight. Yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 1: because it's and a lot of military people. Oh okay, Yeah,
- 29:08Speaker 1: if you go out tonight, you're the one? Yeah, well
- 29:12Speaker 1: are you're the one he has to take out? Now?
- 29:15Speaker 1: If you go out early on that day, No, it's
- 29:17Speaker 1: not early lunchtime. It's a different person than the person
- 29:22Speaker 1: that don Okay, okay, but there's the one that's the
- 29:26Speaker 1: one that you have to take on, not have to
- 29:30Speaker 1: to you get to take her out, but to show
- 29:35Speaker 1: Sometimes it's a no, not if you really love that person.
- 29:38Speaker 1: You guys in a relationship, Jay, I ain't say all that.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I just said sometimes it's have to. That's all right,
- 29:44Speaker 1: all right, listen, coming up to the top of the hour, guys,
- 29:47Speaker 1: I know entertainment news. Bill Cosby says, jail is amazing.
- 29:50Speaker 1: We'll get into that right after this amazing, amazing. How
- 29:58Speaker 1: you're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here's
- 30:04Speaker 1: this crazy story. Bill Cosby is. I'm the messenger. Guys know,
- 30:13Speaker 1: I'm the messenger. Bill Cosby is serving three to ten
- 30:16Speaker 1: years in prison. We know that for sexually assaulting Andrea Constant. Now,
- 30:22Speaker 1: of all the words you'd expect someone to use to
- 30:24Speaker 1: describe prison, we've never heard amazing, right, Amazing probably is
- 30:29Speaker 1: not one of the words that they would use to
- 30:31Speaker 1: describe prison. Yet that is just what we're hearing from
- 30:34Speaker 1: Bill Cosby's camp. According to mister Cosby spokesperson Andrew Wyatt,
- 30:40Speaker 1: he says his experience at SEI Phoenix Prison has been
- 30:44Speaker 1: much better than he anticipated so far. Bill Bill Cosby's
- 30:55Speaker 1: eighty one years old, he's lost weight, he's given up coffee,
- 31:00Speaker 1: the funny part about it, and he's giving up wine
- 31:06Speaker 1: in there. Yeah, I ain't had no choice, ain't making it,
- 31:09Speaker 1: but ain't the same one. But the funny part about
- 31:12Speaker 1: all of this is his wife, Camille Cosby, has been
- 31:14Speaker 1: trying to stop him from drinking coffee for about fifty
- 31:17Speaker 1: five years. His spokesperson, why it said, Uh, it took this.
- 31:21Speaker 1: It took prison to stop him from drinking coffee. Speaking
- 31:24Speaker 1: of Camille Cosby, he speaks to her on the phone
- 31:27Speaker 1: at least three times a day. Three times. What is
- 31:30Speaker 1: he doing? Yeah? But time she's on the phone going Hello,
- 31:36Speaker 1: what is it? What? Nah? What is it? Nah? Hate
- 31:45Speaker 1: all of you? I don't know who Bil thinks you're
- 31:49Speaker 1: not doing anywhere? What did earlier did? But is it? Bill?
- 31:57Speaker 1: This is nice? Right now? Can we do a re enactment?
- 32:06Speaker 1: But I wouldn't have helped you about everything. Really, I
- 32:12Speaker 1: wanted to give you a god and tell you what
- 32:15Speaker 1: you're going on? Six times. I know you haven't seen
- 32:20Speaker 1: what's going on. They got new Year, they got giving
- 32:25Speaker 1: a break miss a day. Cosby was finished. Copy was
- 32:33Speaker 1: moved to general population a couple of weeks ago. But
- 32:36Speaker 1: he's yeah, he has a solo cell though he still
- 32:40Speaker 1: has a solo solo seller, and he doesn't exercise with
- 32:42Speaker 1: everyone else he does King Man. Those guys are so
- 32:48Speaker 1: happy to have nobody's gonna mess with and they're gonna
- 32:51Speaker 1: protect him. They're not gonna let anybody mess with Bill
- 32:53Speaker 1: their respect. So that's probably what an amazing part. Oh,
- 32:57Speaker 1: but he's telling a story. Trust me, he's a great storyteller.
- 32:59Speaker 1: So he listened to him. That can't go nowhere. I'll
- 33:04Speaker 1: tell you one thing, though, I don't. Can't nobody say it,
- 33:07Speaker 1: don't be free? What's that to talk about? It's amazing.
- 33:14Speaker 1: You should try an don't be as free? Well, I mean,
- 33:25Speaker 1: at least he has a good positive attitude. If I'm
- 33:27Speaker 1: just in cause of parceration. I mean, I don't know
- 33:30Speaker 1: what you can say about this story. I didn't drop
- 33:33Speaker 1: paint off at prison. It wasn't it wasn't fun. I
- 33:35Speaker 1: don't know what to say. I got a night night
- 33:38Speaker 1: in Misselle. Guys, Really we shouldn't have read this. Well,
- 33:46Speaker 1: I'm the messenger, guys, this is what's going on. Yes,
- 33:53Speaker 1: I forgot who I was in the room with. All right, listen,
- 33:57Speaker 1: it is time for today's headlines. Please introduce me fan
- 34:00Speaker 1: J ladies in Jeleman's Time for miss and Trip y'all.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Trip Cosby hasn't seen his wife since he entered that
- 34:11Speaker 1: maximum security prison in Phoenix, and that he calls a
- 34:13Speaker 1: three times a day, he says, and insists they have
- 34:16Speaker 1: a quote solid relationships. Okay. President Trump's position on the
- 34:20Speaker 1: temporary Bipartisan Congressional Agreement on water security and government funding
- 34:24Speaker 1: can be summed up in two words, not yet bend
- 34:29Speaker 1: landmine would have that could happen to happen to happen
- 34:32Speaker 1: before the people. But we have not gotten it yet.
- 34:35Speaker 1: It'll be sent to us at some point and we'll
- 34:37Speaker 1: take a very serious look at it. I don't want
- 34:39Speaker 1: to see a shutdown. Shutdown would be a terrible thing.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So President could always change his mind. The deadline is
- 34:45Speaker 1: Friday tomorrow, but Trump seems to be suggesting that he
- 34:48Speaker 1: will sign the measure and therefore keep another government shut
- 34:50Speaker 1: down from happening. Votes on the pack schedule for the
- 34:53Speaker 1: House and the Senate for later on today and this evening,

- 34:59Speaker 1: the American Civil They's Union challenging in New Hampshire law
- 35:02Speaker 1: that it says on fairly targets young voters. The ACLU
- 35:05Speaker 1: has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of two Dartmouth
- 35:07Speaker 1: University students who say that making residency a condition of
- 35:10Speaker 1: voting in that state creates a heartshipt for people who
- 35:13Speaker 1: are just in school there. That law takes effect July first,
- 35:17Speaker 1: Today's the anniversary of the Parkland, Florida school shootings where
- 35:21Speaker 1: seventeen students, well seventeen people entirely were killed at Marjorie
- 35:25Speaker 1: Stoneman High School. They were shot to death by a
- 35:28Speaker 1: government of course, are they're going to have moorial services
- 35:31Speaker 1: there and they say that it's going to be a
- 35:33Speaker 1: day of reflection for the children as well. One of
- 35:35Speaker 1: the women who accusing Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax the
- 35:38Speaker 1: sexual acts, apparently going to speak with a district attorney,
- 35:42Speaker 1: Vanessa Tyson, says Fairfax assaulted her about fifteen years ago
- 35:45Speaker 1: when they met at the National Democratic Convention. Another woman
- 35:48Speaker 1: accusing Fairfax had taken advantage of her nineteen years ago
- 35:52Speaker 1: when they were in Duke University together. The problem of
- 35:55Speaker 1: sexual assault in the military, he's gotten a little worse.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Cording to the latest government figures, the number sexual salts
- 36:00Speaker 1: report at the country's three US military academies rose slightly.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Pentagon says one hundred and seventeen students that the Army, Navy,
- 36:07Speaker 1: and Air Force academies file sexual charges during the last
- 36:10Speaker 1: school year. That's up from one hundred and twelve two
- 36:13Speaker 1: years earlier. Americans expected to spend an estimated nineteen billion
- 36:17Speaker 1: dollars would be this Valentine's Day, which is today, of course,

- 36:51Speaker 1: I know you can't wait for this. It is Valentine's Day.
- 36:54Speaker 1: We've been saying Happy Valentine's Day all morning. And guess

- 37:44Speaker 1: This poem is for them. It's just Valentine's Day. I
- 37:49Speaker 1: call this poem a poem, just like everybody else that's
- 37:54Speaker 1: that said. Nothing special. That's the name of a poem.
- 37:58Speaker 1: What do you call it? Just up? I just wrote
- 38:02Speaker 1: this pretty much like it's like Kanye, like you write
- 38:05Speaker 1: a song, the same thing with poems. Me. It just
- 38:07Speaker 1: comes to him. Yeah, I just put him up, you know.

- 39:52Speaker 1: killed it all right? Coming up, Thank you, Junior. Happy
- 39:55Speaker 1: Valentine's Day to you two. Coming up at thirty four
- 39:58Speaker 1: after did you guys watch Steve Monique on the show
- 40:01Speaker 1: yesterday that interview. Wow, we'll talk about that. Right after this,
- 40:06Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Happy
- 40:10Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, guys. If you're just joining us, Junior, our
- 40:13Speaker 1: poet just spit some beautiful one and so we're gonna
- 40:20Speaker 1: move on. Thank you again, Junior. Yeah, Steve is out today.
- 40:23Speaker 1: In case you haven't noticed that, but the number one
- 40:25Speaker 1: trending story on Steve Harvey FM is Steve's interview. Everybody's
- 40:30Speaker 1: talking about this with Monique, and as we all know,
- 40:33Speaker 1: there was a lot of drama between Monique, Tyler, Perry, Oprah,
- 40:36Speaker 1: and producer Lee Daniels. Well, Monique has been very vocal
- 40:40Speaker 1: about this situation. Take a listen as we try to
- 40:42Speaker 1: come through this, because what I want really is for
- 40:45Speaker 1: you to come through because I know who you really are,
- 40:47Speaker 1: and so what I want you to do is come
- 40:49Speaker 1: through this with a different way because you Monique, you
- 40:53Speaker 1: my girl. I love you like a sister. I hate
- 40:55Speaker 1: what's happening to you. I hate what they're saying that's
- 40:59Speaker 1: not true. I want them to know that you are carried,
- 41:03Speaker 1: that you're a great mother, that you are incredible talent.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I don't like the fact that you've been black ball
- 41:09Speaker 1: you can be unblackballed. You're too talented to have to
- 41:12Speaker 1: worry about all this. Where the next one coming from,
- 41:14Speaker 1: I want this to end for you. Well, I wanted
- 41:18Speaker 1: to end for you, Monique, because I love you, because
- 41:22Speaker 1: these people are doing it the wrong way, and you
- 41:25Speaker 1: better than that. You are better than that. Why Yeah,
- 41:28Speaker 1: this is that was really something that was steving. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:36Speaker 1: it's good. That's good. And this discussion was heated. Take
- 41:40Speaker 1: a listen. Here's more. I probably should have called you
- 41:42Speaker 1: as soon as but I didn't. I got a lot
- 41:45Speaker 1: of stuff going on, so I didn't. When I did
- 41:48Speaker 1: call you, I listened to you. But I began telling
- 41:51Speaker 1: you at the very beginning. I think we're going about
- 41:54Speaker 1: this the wrong way. Now, we keep saying stuff in
- 41:58Speaker 1: the interroom that keeps just making it worse Hollywood, know you,
- 42:02Speaker 1: but making it worse who. It's making it worse for who. Okay,
- 42:06Speaker 1: if you think it's cool, then it's cool. That's what
- 42:08Speaker 1: I'm saying. But it's not cool. It's not cool. But
- 42:11Speaker 1: whole the fact that we're sitting here arging like this,
- 42:14Speaker 1: we're okay, we're discussing you and your sister. We're having
- 42:18Speaker 1: a conversation at Mommy and Daddy are here right now,
- 42:21Speaker 1: and I'm gonna punch you in your mouth. That's the conversation.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Bam bam. Right. I think what happens, though, is I've
- 42:27Speaker 1: had to understand how to agree to disagree without being upset.
- 42:33Speaker 1: And that's the thing. I disagree with my brother. I'm
- 42:36Speaker 1: not upset with you. I love you. Wow. Well, I mean,
- 42:42Speaker 1: you know, brother sisters do get into heating it. It
- 42:45Speaker 1: was time for it to come up. Yeah, it's been
- 42:48Speaker 1: going on al it hasn't come to the forefront like this.
- 42:52Speaker 1: You know, we know what Monique said on stage and
- 42:55Speaker 1: all of that, and we know what's been going on
- 42:57Speaker 1: behind closed doors and behind the scene, but people, you know,
- 43:02Speaker 1: haven't heard the two of them discuss it publicly, like
- 43:06Speaker 1: they discussed it yesterday on the show and it was trending.
- 43:09Speaker 1: It was trending a lot and homeless. Yeah, and it
- 43:12Speaker 1: still is. Right. I think Monique could have said, you know, um,
- 43:18Speaker 1: if it's nothing, but if I offended somebody for the
- 43:22Speaker 1: way I said it, then I apologize for that. I'm
- 43:25Speaker 1: not taking back what I said because that's what I
- 43:27Speaker 1: felt as opposed her saying, well, I stand by what
- 43:30Speaker 1: I said, because I think that's what everybody wanted, is
- 43:33Speaker 1: just to move on. It seemed like a fight that
- 43:37Speaker 1: Monique had with Netflix, not that everybody had that fight
- 43:40Speaker 1: with fixing. That's probably what to me, that's where she
- 43:43Speaker 1: went wrong, And there was a lot of issues. It
- 43:46Speaker 1: was the Netflix boycott. It was then telling you know,
- 43:49Speaker 1: like Shirley talked about with Tyler Perry Daniels and with
- 43:54Speaker 1: and with all of that and being blackballed from the industry,
- 43:58Speaker 1: you know, based on things she said, there ain't gonna
- 44:02Speaker 1: be a lot of people calling you when you say
- 44:04Speaker 1: it right, right, but you know, and that was Steve's point.
- 44:07Speaker 1: It seemed like he was saying he wanted her to
- 44:08Speaker 1: handle it different right. And that was the thing too
- 44:11Speaker 1: with Steve. He wants he loves her, He believes in her,
- 44:14Speaker 1: He knows she's a very talented woman. He doesn't want
- 44:18Speaker 1: the world deprived of her talent. He wants her, uh
- 44:21Speaker 1: and whoever to make this thing right and good so
- 44:24Speaker 1: we can move forward, so you can get some work,
- 44:26Speaker 1: so you can you know, feed your family and make
- 44:29Speaker 1: your money and all of that. You know, an apology
- 44:32Speaker 1: can't hurt, well, they can, but they have to do
- 44:37Speaker 1: the work. You can't just wish it's gone and it's gone,
- 44:40Speaker 1: you know. You know what. The whole interview was like
- 44:41Speaker 1: fifty minutes long. Uh yeah, yeah, slo more too, and
- 44:45Speaker 1: he'll be back tomorrow. He's gonna talk about it. Yeah.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Go to Steve Harvey f M and leave your comments. Okay,
- 44:51Speaker 1: thank you. You're calling Jay. You were right there when
- 44:56Speaker 1: it all took place. Coming up next, it is the
- 44:58Speaker 1: nephew with a praying phone call. Right after this, you're
- 45:01Speaker 1: listening Dave Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 45:05Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's today's
- 45:08Speaker 1: Strawberry letter on this Valentine Today. The subject is manage
- 45:14Speaker 1: or na. Oh yeah, this is for you manage or nah.
- 45:19Speaker 1: We'll tell you about that right now though. The nephew's here.
- 45:22Speaker 1: He's in the building right here, with today's frank phone call.
- 45:25Speaker 1: What you got Valentine's delivery? Oh, brand spanking new Valentine's delivery.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Y'all ain't ready for this, like a he go, hello, Hello,
- 45:41Speaker 1: my name is Eric. I gotta here, you guys a call.
- 45:44Speaker 1: I gotta delivery. I gotta make there tomorrow for Valentine's
- 45:47Speaker 1: for who Kendra. Kendra, Yeah, Kendra lives here. That's my wife.
- 45:53Speaker 1: But I didn't order. I didn't order anything for from
- 45:57Speaker 1: her form Valentine's Day. I'm supposed to be there between
- 46:00Speaker 1: seven and seven thirty. You got the first on my
- 46:03Speaker 1: list tomorrow morning for Valentine And I got like seven
- 46:06Speaker 1: eight boxes here. That's uh, that's coming to you. All's play.
- 46:10Speaker 1: So all right, I can let me, let me let
- 46:13Speaker 1: me ask you this are you at six West Dawn?
- 46:18Speaker 1: Is that you? Yeah? That's me. But again there's there
- 46:22Speaker 1: must be some clerical error typo because like I just
- 46:26Speaker 1: told you, man, I didn't boxes in channel. It's about
- 46:29Speaker 1: seven boxes. But I mean, I mean, let's just looking
- 46:32Speaker 1: at the total here, that adds up to about six
- 46:34Speaker 1: hundred and something, not dollars. I mean, I got five hours.
- 46:37Speaker 1: No partner, were just gonna I'm just gonna take her
- 46:39Speaker 1: to dinner and we're just gonna do our thing. But
- 46:41Speaker 1: there was there was There was no delivery schedule from me, No,
- 46:47Speaker 1: especially not at at seven o'clock. No partner, you got it?
- 46:51Speaker 1: There something wrong? We are you? Are you? You're not
- 46:54Speaker 1: gonna be there? Are you not gonna be there tomorrow morning? Sir,
- 46:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm I'm gonna be here. But it's for
- 47:00Speaker 1: is accepting a delivery that I didn't order and didn't
- 47:02Speaker 1: pay for. That's not happening. Man. Well let me say this.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I got flowers, two boxes that are Lingerie, several boxes
- 47:12Speaker 1: that are sex Choice, all that stuff. I have all
- 47:15Speaker 1: this stuff loaded to be delivered tomorrow at seven am.
- 47:19Speaker 1: And dude, obviously there's a communication breakdown between you and
- 47:23Speaker 1: me player because I didn't order that, and right, but
- 47:28Speaker 1: but you tell me I have the But what the
- 47:30Speaker 1: problem I'm having is that you're telling me I have
- 47:32Speaker 1: the right address. You know the name of the person Kendred,
- 47:37Speaker 1: which is your wife. Right yeah, yeah, so far so
- 47:41Speaker 1: good man. But as far as me ordering that, dude,
- 47:45Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not. I'm not accepting it because I
- 47:48Speaker 1: didn't pay for it. I did not order. It's already
- 47:52Speaker 1: it's already paid. Let me let me just look at
- 47:55Speaker 1: the name here on the here it is here is
- 47:58Speaker 1: right here. Okay, we got Devin. Would you say, upset Devin,
- 48:04Speaker 1: that's that's to make the purchase. Oh no, no, no, no, okay,
- 48:08Speaker 1: that's my wife's ex husband. So either you and him
- 48:12Speaker 1: or in cahoots with each other to do this and
- 48:15Speaker 1: and try to upset me. But guess what you succeeded.
- 48:19Speaker 1: All right, So I'm gonna make this as toy. I
- 48:25Speaker 1: listen to you, so you listen to me. This is
- 48:27Speaker 1: what I want to make abundantly clear to you. I
- 48:30Speaker 1: understand you have a job to do, but if you
- 48:33Speaker 1: bring those roses and all of that stuff past my
- 48:36Speaker 1: house tomorrow, this is what's gonna happen. Those roses, those storms.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna put them somewhere so far up your rear
- 48:43Speaker 1: end that the only way that they see sunshine is
- 48:46Speaker 1: when you open your mouth. So do not, I repeat,
- 48:50Speaker 1: do not. You and Devin, y'all can take this and
- 48:53Speaker 1: you can do whatever y'all want with it. Y'all can
- 48:55Speaker 1: play with the sex toys, red roses and all that
- 48:58Speaker 1: other stuff. Y'all gonna do what you need to do.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Not show up at my crib tomorrow, because it ain't
- 49:04Speaker 1: gonna be a happy Valentine's Day for nobody involved. That's
- 49:07Speaker 1: what I'm okay. Well, here's the deal. As a delivery person,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I am obligated to make the drive. I have to
- 49:16Speaker 1: make this job or then I don't get it. You know,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I get chewed out that I didn't do my job
- 49:21Speaker 1: because such something. Okay, so what would what would you
- 49:24Speaker 1: rather be chewed down or half towards up your rear end?
- 49:27Speaker 1: Since you let's hold down, let's slow down here. What
- 49:29Speaker 1: you're not gonna do is hold on dobles you bring up,
- 49:35Speaker 1: you bring Okay, all right, I'm gonna do the flowers.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I'll use the sex toys for you. So you got
- 49:41Speaker 1: a choice. Music got flowers you you? Let's let me
- 49:45Speaker 1: let me say this flowers as professional as possible. You.
- 49:51Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as cool as possible, but you
- 49:53Speaker 1: ain't listening to me. Do not bring them every Okay,
- 49:56Speaker 1: you can drop them off at the curve, then you
- 49:58Speaker 1: get credit for and whoever walked past and up and
- 50:01Speaker 1: down the street they can pick it up. But do
- 50:04Speaker 1: not come to my front door and ring my doorbell
- 50:07Speaker 1: asking me to sign and accept nothing. It ain't have
- 50:11Speaker 1: to drop them off at the door, sir. I'm telling
- 50:16Speaker 1: you now, I gotta drop them off at the door.
- 50:19Speaker 1: The problem I'm having is you telling me you're gonna
- 50:22Speaker 1: stick some flowers up my Now we got a problem
- 50:25Speaker 1: just listening to this whole scenario. I'm just curious. Is
- 50:28Speaker 1: it possible that maybe Devin does something for her that
- 50:31Speaker 1: you don't do? Hey? Man, you what what's where are
- 50:34Speaker 1: you going at? Was this all I'm telling you is
- 50:36Speaker 1: demanding your business? And don't make this drop that sure?
- 50:41Speaker 1: I'm why am I don't do this stuff that Devin
- 50:44Speaker 1: has purchased for her? And why you need to ask Devin?
- 50:51Speaker 1: Because Teven not show his faith up over here. You
- 50:55Speaker 1: can take it home and give it to your girl
- 50:57Speaker 1: if you want to. I'm not giving my girl or
- 51:00Speaker 1: anything that I didn't buy far. I'm not doing that
- 51:03Speaker 1: you think. So if you if you're not gonna get
- 51:05Speaker 1: your girl or anything that you didn't buy for why
- 51:07Speaker 1: am I going to accept something for my girl that
- 51:09Speaker 1: I didn't buy? Far? I ain't A'm telling you that
- 51:12Speaker 1: you gotta accept me at all. I'm saying you know
- 51:14Speaker 1: you have to make livery and you bring out my hounds.
- 51:16Speaker 1: I got accepted and I'm telling you now don't even
- 51:19Speaker 1: bread to my house. Maybe maybe mister Devin know what
- 51:22Speaker 1: she let me. She looks like obviously she don't like
- 51:26Speaker 1: him no more. She knows me any boy of the
- 51:29Speaker 1: flower delivery person, just like he her ex husband. I'm whooping.
- 51:36Speaker 1: That's all I got to say. Two words. But you're
- 51:38Speaker 1: bringing some whooping, so you might as well come on
- 51:41Speaker 1: now so you can go home after you get to whooping. Okay, okay, okay.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Let me let me say at the end of the day,
- 51:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this is Tommy already told me, Yo,
- 51:50Speaker 1: she's gonna do something like this. He told me that.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Who do you say? Who the hell of me? Already
- 51:55Speaker 1: told me you was gonna act like who the hell
- 51:58Speaker 1: is timing you? Tire me? Isaiah, this is nephew tiught
- 52:02Speaker 1: me for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And guess what, Isaiah,
- 52:06Speaker 1: Your girl Kendroll got me to Frank phone call you.
- 52:12Speaker 1: You know what you Kendroll and Devin, all of y'all
- 52:18Speaker 1: can show up tomorrow and all of y'all gonna get
- 52:20Speaker 1: portions of this Valentine's Day. You got your brother chance
- 52:31Speaker 1: to cool down. Not man. I to my sweet one
- 52:35Speaker 1: and only kindred with all that is in me. I
- 52:39Speaker 1: love you, baby girl to death. Do us talk and
- 52:42Speaker 1: it almost came early, but I love you. That's when
- 52:47Speaker 1: that bought. That's when that boarts breaking right there. You
- 52:49Speaker 1: understand I'm saying, but tell me it's Valentine's Day? Well
- 52:52Speaker 1: what you meant them all? Mad? Well, what you're supposed
- 52:56Speaker 1: to bring up? Somebody? Somebody had to sit, yeah, or
- 53:00Speaker 1: else it wouldn't be a price, It wouldn't be a prank.
- 53:02Speaker 1: And you tell me why I do it on Valentine Day?
- 53:04Speaker 1: I mean what you want me call somebody today about Christmas?
- 53:10Speaker 1: You want me to do this? They're gonna have a
- 53:12Speaker 1: good Valentine's to Day, of course, but you can't help
- 53:14Speaker 1: but think that in the back of your mind a night, Yeah,
- 53:18Speaker 1: all night to night Devin on his mind. You did that,
- 53:21Speaker 1: and then he ain't gonna come as correct as Devin did.
- 53:27Speaker 1: They're gonna be fighting me for nights at least, where
- 53:32Speaker 1: are you gonna be? I'm bad at night baby? Soon
- 53:35Speaker 1: to the show with I roll into Kaleen, Texas. The
- 53:38Speaker 1: Nephew got two shows to night. It's twice as funny,

- 53:53Speaker 1: something new starting next week. I am going to prank
- 53:56Speaker 1: someone live on stage, right, So I just bought all
- 53:59Speaker 1: they that. I just bought all the gear that allows
- 54:02Speaker 1: me to prank you while I am on stage on
- 54:04Speaker 1: that microphone and the audience can hear me do question? Yes,
- 54:07Speaker 1: you have security on stage. I ain't pranking nobody in
- 54:10Speaker 1: the building. Ohhh okay, but okay you better have security.
- 54:17Speaker 1: All right, neview, thank you. Coming up next, it's the
- 54:19Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters. Subject Minaja na. We'll get into the letter

- 54:44Speaker 1: to do, and we could be reading your letter live
- 54:46Speaker 1: on the air, just like we're gonna read this one
- 54:49Speaker 1: on the air right now. Yeah, here we go. Buckle
- 54:52Speaker 1: up and hold on tight. We got it for you,
- 54:54Speaker 1: the Strawberry I'm sorry, Strawberry Letter, you're a little too excite,
- 55:01Speaker 1: all right, subject Manaja naw. All right, Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 55:04Speaker 1: my husband and I need your help. We this is
- 55:07Speaker 1: in the letter. We want nephew Tommy's opinion too. Come on,
- 55:13Speaker 1: we met in college and we've been married for twelve years,
- 55:16Speaker 1: so sex can get rather boring over the years, even
- 55:19Speaker 1: though we work hard to keep it interesting. My husband, Hubby,
- 55:23Speaker 1: completely fulfills my needs and he says that I'm all
- 55:27Speaker 1: he needs. But lately we have been joking about having
- 55:30Speaker 1: a manaje ta with another woman. I know, I know,
- 55:35Speaker 1: married couples should never invite someone else into their bedroom,
- 55:38Speaker 1: but we think it would help us more than hurt us.
- 55:41Speaker 1: My husband and I met when we were very young,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and neither one of us had the opportunity to be
- 55:46Speaker 1: sexually adventurous before we got together. We even waited till
- 55:50Speaker 1: we were married to be intimate, and he's the only
- 55:53Speaker 1: man I've ever been with. Now the curiosity is killing us.
- 55:58Speaker 1: We've talked about the manage and my husband explained to
- 56:01Speaker 1: me exactly what he would like for the woman to
- 56:04Speaker 1: do to him, and I told him exactly what I
- 56:07Speaker 1: want the woman to do to me. Now we will now,
- 56:10Speaker 1: we want to make it a reality so we can
- 56:12Speaker 1: stop fantasizing about it. I know you go. I know
- 56:16Speaker 1: you get letters like this all the time and manage
- 56:19Speaker 1: tie can either be a good thing or a bad thing.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Worst case scenario, my husband may really like how this
- 56:25Speaker 1: other woman pleases him, and he may want more of
- 56:28Speaker 1: her and less of me. I'm sure any woman is
- 56:31Speaker 1: way more advanced in sex than I am. Or maybe
- 56:34Speaker 1: I'll really like the woman and get caught up. How
- 56:37Speaker 1: can we safely explore our sexuality without ruining the good
- 56:41Speaker 1: thing we have going? Do you think it's possible? Please help? Oh,
- 56:45Speaker 1: I think you guys are treading in dangerous territory. That's
- 56:48Speaker 1: what I think. I don't think you guys should do this.
- 56:51Speaker 1: I know you've been married twelve years. I know you
- 56:53Speaker 1: know you've gotten a little bored with it and you
- 56:56Speaker 1: but you are working hard, you say, to keep it interesting.
- 57:00Speaker 1: What's wrong with the fantasy just being a fantasy? Do
- 57:03Speaker 1: we all have to act out our fantasies? Do we
- 57:06Speaker 1: have to do that? You know you kind of answered
- 57:09Speaker 1: your own question in the letter. Worst case scenario, my
- 57:12Speaker 1: husband may really like how this other woman pleases you
- 57:15Speaker 1: pleases him, and he may not. He may want more
- 57:18Speaker 1: of her and less of me. Absolutely that can happen.
- 57:21Speaker 1: One hundred percent, that can happen. Are you willing to
- 57:25Speaker 1: Are you willing to risk your marriage on that? Because
- 57:29Speaker 1: that is exactly what can happen, and you got you
- 57:31Speaker 1: can bring a whole bunch of problems into your marriage

- 1:14:43Speaker 1: before you let get on out of your plan. He
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: played too much, but then he became the revered Al Sharpton. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: white man, Jamie Brown, Jannie Brown. You remember that one
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: year we thought we had our movie career set. Remember
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: we was both fighting to see who was gonna play
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Ralph Abernathy and to morrow I have asked you stop
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that please, And we both had callbacks. I never forget it,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and they said, they said, well both of them is realistic.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: But I think the little short fat one she's got
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: to play Ralph. Ever, I got a question for Wallace's mama.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: She killed with your question. All right, Cheryl, what's question?
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: We know today is Valentine's Day this weekend, though, are
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: you headed to Charlotte All Star NBA. What you got girl?
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: What's well? Well? See, I had to I had to
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: hang up my chaps. You know, I had to retire.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: You know from the All Star they get a little young.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I can't play Fortnite all night. I'm old, y'all. Listen
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: to me. Young people be trying to stay up all night, Yes,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: all night, and me like it's five third, it's time
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: to watch the nightling news. Come on, don't you have
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: a game to play at? You know, where's your father?
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Let me get in your father. And I'm going back
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: to Will Chamberlain. I'm going back when you used to
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: come back on the dude, just walk up and go
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: what you're doing after this? While you're drinking Crown Row.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: You know, back when I used to chase child Barklou
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: and charl Oakley. I chased them both of the same too. Yeah,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I was at the Togo in Cleveland. Steve noticed start too.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I had him kemmed up at the Togo. Then we
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: went to Lasso, had a good time. Reminiscent. What was
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: the question? Got a girl got? We love you, Cheryl,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: We gotta girl coming. Dandy Brown, you are not drought
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: ever after you cannot convey. Coming up to the top
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: of the hour, It's Carlin's Reality Update. Right after this.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Thank you, Cheryl, we love you. George Wallace's great grandma.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, Tunny. Is that time? It's that time, Shirley.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: It is happening on the perfect day, Valentine's Day. She
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: is here, the one and only Colin Farrell's Reality Update.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Who thank you, nephew. Okay, crew, let's get to it.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Last night season finale Celebrity Big Brother the Okay, So
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: it was down to the final two contestants former NFL
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: player Ricky Williams, Rickett and Tamar and ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: the winner Big Brother for the first time, an African
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: American woman. One Celebrity Big Brother Tamar Braxton. Baby. Yes,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Now what do they win? Call up the two hundred
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: and fifty thousands? Yeah, congratulate and what is the rule? Well,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: let me just say this, Jay word. Tamar. She played
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: the game. She bought the drama, she bought the tears,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: she bought the comedy. And it's a strategic game that
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: you have to play, and and you have these alliances.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: You gotta get the strongest and most athletic person. You
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: gotta get them out of the house. It's just a
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: it's a game. It's a mind game, so shout out.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Let me say this game. But it was you gotta
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: think it's strategy. And let me say this as well,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Lolo Jones. She was a little bitter. Yes, she was
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: like yeah, yeah, come you know whatever though, Ye, Candy, Carla,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Candy was very, very good. She was down to the
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: final five. She made it. She made it. Um and
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: and the friendship her in Tamar. They had this moment,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: so it was good. Much love to Candy. She played
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: the game as well, but the winner at the end
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: of the day. I gotta give yes, Candy Burris. Yeah yeah,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: and we have to just give it up to Tamar
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: because she got everybody watching Celebrity Big Brother. I mean
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I am watching it forever. So shout out to Tamar again.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: African American one Celebrity Big Brother first time. So that's
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: so big. And she's a woman, so that's good Black
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: history monk here. So yeah, and Kenny, if you listening,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: let me something. The toys wid a man, I just
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: think about the toys. Coome on, Carl, don't pay any
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: attention to am right right, right right. And then you
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: know what, I wanted to keep talking about Lolo for
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: a second. Lolo Jones her and Tamar and they were talking,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: uh in the celebrity big brother's house, and you know,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Lolo is still a virgin, and um, hell, I'm gonna
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: get the junior number three. Come on, she's okay, go ahead.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: You were saying she's a virgin. She says she's waiting
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: until marriage. And then Tamar, you know that, she was
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: just saying, wow, what if you marry a guy and
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: the sex is just not good? What are you gonna do?
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: And then Lolo said, well, she had nothing to compare
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: it to, so yeah she'll be good, So no comparison. Then,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: so there you have it. So why poud because she lost?
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: She really stressed, stressed. He got a lot pent up
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: about the thirty. Yeah, she's stressed. She's in her thirties. Oh,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I'm saying, well, this one informed y'all that me and
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Lolo will be getting married. This writing y'all. Yeah, y'all invited.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: And then you know, hey, that is I don't want
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I didn't want to, okay, man, congratulation, Hello, hey boy,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: going on, Carla all right, let's switch gears. Let's go
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: to Real Housewives of Atlanta since we were talking about
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Kenny Burrs. All right, So, you know, the ladies are
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: in Japan, in Tokyo, and they were doing this whole
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: celebrating Eva, you know, her wedding, bachel rat party, Girls
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Trip and Tanya, she's one of the new friends on
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: the show. She planned this bachel rat party for Eva,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: and boy was it boring. But then I mean boy
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: to listen, Jay, listen, listen, listen. Then Borsia had the
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: ladies play this game with pickles and that was kind
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: of crazy. And then the ladies they started having fun.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: And then Jay Anthony Brown, a Japanese stripper, came to
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: the bachelorette party. He's gonna be hot for you ladies,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Jay happen. Now he was. He danced, but he kept
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: the socks on the whole time, and they kept telling
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: him to take his socks on. What kind of thugs
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: just regular white? Oh yeah, they keep so sexy. Yeah. Anyway,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: let's witch subjects here. So Ninie um Ni she had
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: a meltdown, you know, about Gregg's battle with station three
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: colon cancer, and she just admitted that she's used to
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Greg being there at the nurturing one and taking care
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: of her, but now she has to be the one
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that's strong all the time and front like everything is okay.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: So she kind of broke down in front of Cynthia
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: and then Nini. She did talk to Greg, you know,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: because they were kind of beefing and the time zone
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: differences or whatever. They hadn't been talking while she was
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: on the trip. Long story shot. Greg sent her some flowers,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: a big bouquet of flowers. He wrote her a note,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: and Eva was there with Nini and Nini was just
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: crying and then eat yeah, Eva said, could she read
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: the note from Greg, because you know, Nini was really
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: really touched, and part of the note said, this is
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: from Greg to Nini. You are for me, and you
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: are in pain. I her too. Forgive me my arress.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Let me draw you in my love, for I feel
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: pain that I have inflicted on you. Let me back
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: in your heart so I can touch and men our
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: love and we continue to grow with each other. Oh
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: my god, oh girl, oh my god. She was gone
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: after that one. Yes, so Nini cried and uh Eva
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: gave us some privacy. Finally let me go at the
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: end of the dinner, Candy apologize to Porsche for talking
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: about her man, Dennis. Candy said she kind of understood
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: what all that stuff she went through when people were
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: talking about when she was dating Todd and her husband.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: So it seems like Candy and Porsche had squashed their beef.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: If you want to keep talking about this reality update,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: go to at lips by Carlum and sure the strawberry
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: we gotta go. Yeah when he after you're listening. Well, guys,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: uh wow, the story is still really hard to talk about.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: But it was a year ago today that seventeen people
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: were killed by a nineteen year old gunman at the
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Stoneman Douglas High schoo in Parkland, Florida. We all remember this.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: We will never forget this day. Yeah. And then how
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: all of the historic March for Our Lives rallies were
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: organized by the schools shooting survivors. These kids and their
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: families wanted Parkland, Florida to be the last of these
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: mass school shootings. And now, for the first time in years,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Congress held a recent hearing on gun violence prevention policies,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: including HR eight, that is a bill to require background
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: checks on all gun sales. This is an essential piece
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: of legislation because right now, background checks are only required
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: under federal law for sales conducted by licensed dealers. That
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: leaves out plenty of unlicensed sales, you know, at gun
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: shows and online. So in fact, nearly one in nine
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: people looking online to buy guns from unlicensed sellers wouldn't
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: pass a background check. That's according to a new report
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: from Every Town for Gun Safety. This legislation can fix
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: this dangerous loophole. Yeah, us and our prayers and thoughts
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: are still with the people of Parkland, Florida on this day. Yeah,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: it really was sad. I mean really sad. It was
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: just horrific on a day of love. Yeah, on Valentine's
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Day of all days. Yeah, And I was watching the news.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Some of those students, some of the survivors, you know,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: they were some of them were seniors in school last
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: year and they took a gap year off from college
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: to do work like this to try to help those
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: legislation bills get put in place. You know, they organize
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: those you know, rallies and protests, March for Our Lives
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: because they wanted change, and they're going through grief now,
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: you know, because they wanted to do something so immediately
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: after it happened, passion. Now they're dealing and processing with
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: the loss. Yeah, it has an effect on the effect
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: the president. You know, you don't even hear him talk
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: about gun control. No. The only time we ever talk
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: about it if when something horrible like this happened. Unfortunately
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: in this country. Um, but yeah, I hopefully. I know
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: they were offering like psychological help to the students and
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: the people who were involved last year, and I hope
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: that help is still available to the kids from the
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: school and to those who are affected their families and everything.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: I think about my kids at school every day, every
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: single day, every day I do. Man, when they leave,
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, God, God, please stay with them. Yeah,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: make sure they say, because you don't know what person
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: may do something. I'm sure every parent goes through that.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: They think about that everything. Yeah, And homes people who
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: homeschooled their children a lot of times, this is why
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: they homeschool are now because of you know, the school
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: shootings and the violence. You know, I'm sure surely that's
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: the number one reason. Yeah. Yeah, And my little girl
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: and my little girl and my son go to school together.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: They both the same private school. So my little girl
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: knows get to your brother. Yeah, get to him and
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: run and don't stop. And I get emails from my
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: daughter school. We conducted a safety drill today. We conduct
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: in lockdown. This is a normal routine for our babies. Yes, yes, yeah,
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: it's scary, it really really is. But I'm glad they
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: have them though, because they need them. Unfortunately, it's the
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: world we live in now, you know, in which we live? Wow, yeah,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: it is so Again, our thoughts and prayers are with
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: those families on this day. We know this is a
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: hard day for you, and we're with you. You're in
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: our thoughts and prayers. All right, We'll have more of
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: You're listening to show. The number one trending story on
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM is Steve's interview. Everybody's talking about this
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: with Monique, and as we all know, there was a
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: lot of drama between Monique, Tyler, Perry, Oprah, and producer
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Lee Daniels. Well, Monique has been very vocal about this situation.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Take a listen as we try to come through this,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: because what I want really is for you to come
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: because I know who you really are, and so what
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: I what I want you to do is come through
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: this with a different way because you Monique, you my girl.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: I love you like a sister. I hate what's happening
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: to you. I hate what they're saying that's not true.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: I want them to know that you are carried, that
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: you're a great mother, that you are incredible talent. I
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: don't like the fact that you've been black balled. You
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: can be unblackballed. You too talented to have to worry
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: about all this. Where the next one coming from. I
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: want this to end for you. Well, I wanted to
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: end for you, Monique, because I love you, because these
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: people are doing it the wrong way, and you better
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: than that. You are better than that. W Yeah this
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: is that was really something that was steveing. Yeah missed
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: it it, remember, Yeah, that was good. That's good. And
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: this discussion was heated. Take a listen. Here's more. I
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: probably should have called you as soon as but I didn't.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: I got lots of stuff going on, so I didn't.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: When I did call you, I listened to you, but
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: I began telling you at the very beginning. I think
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: we're going about this the wrong way. Now, we keep
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: saying stuff in the interroom that keeps just making it worse. Hollywood,
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: know you who it's making it worse for whose? Okay,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: if you think it's cool, then it's cool, that's what
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: I'm saying. But it's not cool. It's not cool. But
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: who the fact that we're sitting here arging like this. Okay,
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: we're discussing you and your sister. We're having a conversation,
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: and mommy and Daddy are here right now, and I'm
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: gonna to punch you in your mouth. That's the conversation.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: Bam bam. Right. I think what happens, though, is I've
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: had to understand how to agree to disagree without being upset.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: And that's the thing. I disagree with my brother. I'm
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: not upset with you. I love you. Wow. Well, I mean,
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: you know, brother and sisters do get into heating. It
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: was telling it was time for it to come up. Yeah,
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: that's been going on a long It hasn't come to
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: the forefront like this. You know, we know what Monique
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: said on stage and all of that, and we know
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: what's been going on behind closed doors and behind the scene,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: but people you know, don't haven't heard the two of
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: them discuss it publicly, like they discussed it yesterday on
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: the show, and it was trending. It was trending a
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: lot and hatless. Yeah, and it still is. Right. I
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: think Monique could have said, you know, um, if it's nothing,
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: but if I offended somebody for the way I said it,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: then I apologize for that. I'm not taking back what
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: I said because that's what I felt as opposed to
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: her saying, well, I stand by what I said, because
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: I think that's what everybody wanted, is just to move on.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: It seemed like a fight that Monique had with Netflix,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: not that everybody had that fight with and that's probably
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: what to me, that's where she went wrong. And there
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: was a lot of issues. It was the Netflix boycott
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: and then telling you know, like Shirley talks about with
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: Tyler Perry Daniels and with Free and with all of that,
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: and being blackballed from the industry, you know, based on
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: there ain't gonna be a lot of people calling you
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: when you say, right right, all right, guys, uh, We're
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: gonna have one more break of the day on this
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: Valentine's Day and we'll come back right after this with
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: our last break of the day, a Valentine's message from
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: Jay and the Fellas right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good day,
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: this Valentine's Day. Huh Yeah, love is in the Steve
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: will be back tomorrow, guys. But before we go, uh,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: this Valentine's Day. So Jay, you want to kick it
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: off with some Valentine love stuff? Set the more. Yeah,
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: we can get something. Yeah. What I want to talk today.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: What I want to talk about today is what women
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: really want. I saw the movie What Men Want, and
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: a lot of times men are struggling find out what
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: women really want, what they really want, what they they
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: don't tell you what they want. But here's what here's
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: one of the things that women really want. If you

- 1:33:35Speaker 1: let's say five ten minutes, don't say a damn word,
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: don't look like you're thinking about nothing, don't laugh, don't

- 1:33:59Speaker 1: you know? What women really they won't and this is

- 1:34:05Speaker 1: you overlook and you don't see what a woman really won't.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: A woman wants a man, a man to just take
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: the time out of his business schedule and just scratch
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: her scout. You understand what I'm saying, man, scratch manut,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: you don't know what do to a woman. Man if
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: you just scratch, you don't. You don't know what kind
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: of love that brains. And you just scratch. Oh, I
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: mean just grab about the back and then just get
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: the scratch. Just get with that, with that rat to car.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: You just gonna do me like this, I'm gonna tell you.

- 1:35:30Speaker 1: to go back and forth. You go with what is it?
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: And she said, didn't you hear that? And she said, no,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: I didn't hear. She wants you to get right up
