- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on, deeve me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, I got a radio show. Somebody sent me
- 2:14Speaker 1: an email one day that, you know, kind of a
- 2:17Speaker 1: nasty little email, you know, I think I said it
- 2:20Speaker 1: wants to before Steve Harvey trying to be a preacher. Man.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I'm so far from being a preacher. Man, I can't
- 2:25Speaker 1: even tell you. But what I am trying to do
- 2:29Speaker 1: is share information. I understand how haters work, and I
- 2:32Speaker 1: understand how the devil was Believe me, I do you know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: sometimes even heat the devil surprises me at the level
- 2:44Speaker 1: and the angles of attack they use, you know which,
- 2:47Speaker 1: I go, Wow, man, I didn't I didn't see that one.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Oh that was pretty slick. I got I gotta get
- 2:52Speaker 1: her credit on that. We try to get me, But
- 2:54Speaker 1: every time you try to get me, I get saved.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I get saved every time. Yeah, because because God got me.
- 3:04Speaker 1: God got some angels camped around me. That's what my
- 3:08Speaker 1: mom used to always say as Sunday school teacher. Never
- 3:10Speaker 1: really understood it, but you know when I was growing
- 3:13Speaker 1: up as a kid, but I got it. Now, you
- 3:14Speaker 1: got some angels around me. And angels come into form
- 3:18Speaker 1: sometimes of people, people who pull your coat to this,
- 3:22Speaker 1: or introduce you to that, or reveal some information to
- 3:25Speaker 1: you like this. He got them all around me. So see,
- 3:30Speaker 1: having a relationship with God has been beneficial to me, y'all.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's not just that what he gives to me, but
- 3:41Speaker 1: what he protects me from. And you know, some some
- 3:46Speaker 1: people wonder, what if you were God, why he letting
- 3:48Speaker 1: people do that to you? Now, that's not how it works. See,
- 3:52Speaker 1: there's two forces in this world, as good and as evil,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and if you succumb to good, that's what you become.
- 3:58Speaker 1: That's what you do. But everybody don't succumb to good.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Some people succumb to evil. Some people's mission is to hate,
- 4:05Speaker 1: to destroy, to tear down, And so that forces at
- 4:10Speaker 1: work in this world too. And when that force comes
- 4:12Speaker 1: up against me, what God never promised me that I
- 4:16Speaker 1: wouldn't see none of that, that I wouldn't see the attacks,
- 4:20Speaker 1: that I would not come under fire, that I would
- 4:23Speaker 1: not be falsely accused. He didn't say that, a matter
- 4:25Speaker 1: of fact, he for warned me that it would happen.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But what He does give me in those moments, on
- 4:32Speaker 1: moments of comfort and peace, knowing that He's with me,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and no, no matter what my enemy does to bring
- 4:39Speaker 1: me down, it ain't gonna work. It ain't gonna work.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So come if you want to fight, if you will.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I have a man that has been attacking me since
- 4:51Speaker 1: I owned the comedy club in Dallas. He has been
- 4:54Speaker 1: on a mission. Every job I get, he send out
- 4:59Speaker 1: all he's He's sending them the people that I'm with.
- 5:03Speaker 1: He didn't send it to the WB. He just sent
- 5:06Speaker 1: these notifications falsely claiming that he has some information that
- 5:11Speaker 1: can destroy me, that he has some audio clips of
- 5:16Speaker 1: me saying things on stage that could destroy me and
- 5:21Speaker 1: that if I don't give him five million dollars, he
- 5:24Speaker 1: gonna do it. You know how long this man been
- 5:27Speaker 1: doing this? I mean he didn't call NBC right on
- 5:30Speaker 1: up to NBC where I am now. He didn't done everything, man,
- 5:33Speaker 1: He has done everything now even messed around and got
- 5:38Speaker 1: itself now claiming in his letters physically ill and his
- 5:43Speaker 1: illnesses and what's befalling his family. He's blaming that on
- 5:48Speaker 1: me too, At Steve Harvey, not stressed me out and
- 5:51Speaker 1: pay me this money he owed me? What? What? What? What? What?
- 5:55Speaker 1: What you get this figure? From? Man? Where we were
- 5:58Speaker 1: you coming with this? But every time, man, even when
- 6:01Speaker 1: I tried to talk with the man to say, man,
- 6:04Speaker 1: look man, what is it? What is you really trying
- 6:06Speaker 1: to do? This is what? This is? How much I want?
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm not paying you that, man, You know I'm not.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm not giving you that. He just has kept on
- 6:13Speaker 1: it on, it on, And you know what, he the
- 6:16Speaker 1: messed around, got itself sick. He'd messed around, man, got
- 6:20Speaker 1: himself in some situation. And can I tell you something.
- 6:23Speaker 1: It's been going on since night teen h maybe nineties seven.
- 6:34Speaker 1: He started the attack when I first went on, No
- 6:38Speaker 1: before that probably he started the attacks in every nine
- 6:47Speaker 1: and he didn't got six lawyers. All the lawyers didn't
- 6:51Speaker 1: drop the case after they come in and they discovered
- 6:54Speaker 1: the fact, but he steadied trying. But it's the angels
- 6:57Speaker 1: that's around. And I forewarned you several times, man, and man,
- 7:02Speaker 1: if I was you, I go head on because what
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do is being because see, you cannot
- 7:07Speaker 1: break me because I happened to be a soldier for Christ.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I happened to be an imperfect soldier or Christ as nothing,
- 7:17Speaker 1: man as nothing And oh, oh it ain't like a
- 7:21Speaker 1: bunch of people and tried. Now, oh y'all been on YouTube,
- 7:24Speaker 1: y'all been on the internet. Oh they didn't try. Oh
- 7:27Speaker 1: they didn't put some dirt on me. Man, that ain't true.
- 7:30Speaker 1: But if you keep looking at me, though, and I'm
- 7:33Speaker 1: not the prize, but if you put your eyes on God,
- 7:36Speaker 1: that's where you go. But if you look at me,
- 7:38Speaker 1: He's covered me through it all. And that's been the
- 7:41Speaker 1: importance of the relationship I formed with God, is that
- 7:45Speaker 1: I know that I'm under his wings, that I'm ever
- 7:48Speaker 1: under his ever loving protection, that he got me. And
- 7:53Speaker 1: I just wanted to share that with you that if
- 7:55Speaker 1: you got If you're looking for some protection, if you
- 8:00Speaker 1: if you're looking for a way to have the stripth
- 8:01Speaker 1: to get through what you're going through, get some god man.
- 8:06Speaker 1: If if if, if, if you want to weigh out,
- 8:09Speaker 1: get some god man. If you've been gangbanging and you're
- 8:12Speaker 1: sick of gangbanging, get you some god man. If you're
- 8:15Speaker 1: tired of being on drugs and you're tied to drinking,
- 8:18Speaker 1: get you some god man. If you're tied to being,
- 8:21Speaker 1: if you're sick and tired of being sick of tired,
- 8:24Speaker 1: get you some god man. I'm just telling you now.
- 8:27Speaker 1: If you're trying to make your dreams come true and
- 8:30Speaker 1: it looked like you ain't gonna make it, and you
- 8:32Speaker 1: still believe that that's for you, get you some god man.
- 8:35Speaker 1: If you're setting a new gold dream of aspiration and
- 8:38Speaker 1: you're trying to get there and you're gonna start out today,
- 8:41Speaker 1: get you some god man. I'm just telling you. I'm
- 8:44Speaker 1: just telling you it's real. What I'm saying. Man, I
- 8:47Speaker 1: ain't on faith, Dude, with it. You understand. I'm just
- 8:49Speaker 1: telling you real. Get you some god man, and be patient,
- 8:54Speaker 1: have faith, believe, don't doubt, But Lord, have mercy. Get
- 8:59Speaker 1: ready to your tail off. Did you hear me? Get
- 9:04Speaker 1: you some faith? Believe, don't doubt, and get ready to
- 9:09Speaker 1: work your tail off. God can't blessing you See a
- 9:14Speaker 1: lot of times we go to God asking for prayers
- 9:16Speaker 1: and stuff, but we go to him and we don't
- 9:19Speaker 1: give nothing. God nothing to bless We want blessings, but
- 9:22Speaker 1: we don't give him nothing to bless. You make one step,
- 9:25Speaker 1: he'll make two. You start, He'll finish you come, He'll

- 9:48Speaker 1: go to Corredo conversation with him. Man. Yesterday just sitting
- 9:51Speaker 1: and just call me man, and was just talking about
- 9:54Speaker 1: but Steve. You know, man, I just dude, been on
- 9:59Speaker 1: me of dollars for four years. I just asked him,
- 10:04Speaker 1: have you survived the folk without the twenty three hunter? Yeah? Man,
- 10:09Speaker 1: how much you think you have spent trying to get
- 10:11Speaker 1: to just a few hundred? Now, let me ask you something.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Do you have a few hundred more to try to
- 10:17Speaker 1: get this twenty three hundred that you've been trying to
- 10:19Speaker 1: get for four years? Yeah? I could do that, But
- 10:23Speaker 1: do you want to man, do you have the time

- 10:33Speaker 1: could use that money. And I've been praying to God
- 10:36Speaker 1: to help me. Yeah, you've been praying to God to
- 10:38Speaker 1: help you, But you've been telling God how to do
- 10:40Speaker 1: to help. See. You keep telling God that if he
- 10:42Speaker 1: gives you the twenty one three hundred, you be all right,
- 10:45Speaker 1: when in essence, God probably got something way greater for you.
- 10:48Speaker 1: But you gotta let go of your own thinking and

- 29:17Speaker 1: airdressing whisper right next to you. Hey, man, if you

- 30:12Speaker 1: one of my aunties and figure out I ain't got
- 30:14Speaker 1: how to do that. It's an art. I love dressing.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Marjorie makes the dressing every year, and all her family
- 30:24Speaker 1: asked for pansa really good addressing. Dope, don't and we
- 30:32Speaker 1: deep fried to turkey. Your son has to build butter

- 31:39Speaker 1: nuts all over the outside of it. It's kind of
- 31:43Speaker 1: it reminds me of German chocolate cake, but it's all pink.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Favorite German chocolate. That's Marjorie's favor. It was my favorite.
- 31:53Speaker 1: To Marjorie can make a German chocolate cake and listen
- 31:58Speaker 1: to me. And I'm not saying this because I'm to
- 32:00Speaker 1: because she's not listening. Her German chocolate cake tastes just
- 32:05Speaker 1: like my mama Jerman chocolate cake. That's that's major and
- 32:10Speaker 1: if it didn't, and if it didn't, I wouldn't say it. Hu.
- 32:13Speaker 1: When a black person make a German chocolate click, ain't

- 32:31Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, our very own voice of reason, intellect,

- 32:41Speaker 1: Thank you morning everybody. Thanks Steve. This is a trip
- 32:43Speaker 1: with the news. President Trump says that the Saudi Arabia
- 32:46Speaker 1: remains a strong partner despite that recent killing of Washington
- 32:49Speaker 1: Post journalist because Jamaica Soji. Trump said yesterday that he
- 32:53Speaker 1: was going to look at a report Uncle Soji prepared
- 32:55Speaker 1: by the CIA which says that the Saudi Crown Prince
- 32:59Speaker 1: was involved in the brutal murder. But Trump, after I
- 33:01Speaker 1: guess looking at it. He says that it would be
- 33:03Speaker 1: foolish to cancel a multibillion dollar weapons deal that the
- 33:07Speaker 1: US has with Saudi Arabia right now. In fact, Secretary
- 33:10Speaker 1: of State Mike Pompeo says US needs the Saudi Kingdom
- 33:12Speaker 1: as a partner. Walmart says it's requesting a refund from
- 33:16Speaker 1: the campaign of Mississippi Republican U. S. Sander Cindy Hide Smith,
- 33:20Speaker 1: who's come under criticism because of remarks she made during
- 33:23Speaker 1: the campaign. The Deep South lawmaker was caught on video saying,
- 33:26Speaker 1: this is a quote on the front row. I'd be
- 33:29Speaker 1: on the front row if a support they was She
- 33:31Speaker 1: was talking about a specific supporter. Okay, let me get
- 33:36Speaker 1: out of my mouth, and she says basically she would
- 33:38Speaker 1: be on the front row if that supporter quote invited
- 33:41Speaker 1: her to a public hanging. Sounds like lynching, doesn't it.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Hide Smith is in a runoff against African American Mike
- 33:47Speaker 1: esp a former U S Secretary of Agriculture. Police in
- 33:50Speaker 1: Washington State have opened investigation to the death of top
- 33:53Speaker 1: forty d J. Case casuon BC says, police and Gig
- 33:56Speaker 1: Harbor say the quote we received information from the family
- 33:59Speaker 1: alleging that the deaf was wrongful and they were conducting
- 34:01Speaker 1: an administrative review. Casey Cason died back in June in
- 34:05Speaker 1: Washington State, where his widow, Gene Cason, brought him back
- 34:09Speaker 1: after taking case him out of a medical facility in
- 34:11Speaker 1: southern California where he was receiving round the clock care.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Case some three children by previous marriage claim elder abuse.
- 34:18Speaker 1: They say they were never allowed to see him again.
- 34:20Speaker 1: It were never allowed to see his body. By the way,
- 34:23Speaker 1: if you're going to be shopping for the ingredients of
- 34:25Speaker 1: a nice Thanksgiving sal today, do not use any romaine lettuce.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Stands for Disease Control and Preventions say, romaine lettuce is
- 34:31Speaker 1: unsafety right now, in any form, chopped, cooked, whatever. The
- 34:35Speaker 1: CDC issued at alert in response to an outbreak of
- 34:38Speaker 1: illnesses caused by a particularly dangerous type of E. Coli contamination.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So officials instructing folks the fallaway any romaine lettuce you
- 34:45Speaker 1: may have in the house, that stores shouldn't sell it,
- 34:47Speaker 1: restaurants should not serve it, and well, good night, blue cheese.
- 34:51Speaker 1: According to several reports, looks like the president's start. Avanca
- 34:55Speaker 1: used her personal email while doing work for the administration,
- 34:58Speaker 1: As White House advisor said, out hundreds of messages last
- 35:01Speaker 1: year to other government officials on her private email server
- 35:05Speaker 1: sound familiar, the report the apparently the Washington Post was
- 35:08Speaker 1: the first report on this. Donald Trump spent most of
- 35:10Speaker 1: his twenty sixteen presidential campaign talking about Mrs Clinton and
- 35:14Speaker 1: her personal email server, pointing out that it was illegal,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and getting his supporters at his campaign rallies to chant,
- 35:19Speaker 1: lock er up, lock er up. Like I said the top,
- 35:22Speaker 1: good night, blue Cheese. Finally today is false confession day

- 35:51Speaker 1: they've been overwhelmed with work, the volume of work they have,
- 35:54Speaker 1: the hours that they have to put in. Some of
- 35:56Speaker 1: the other reasons for work related sleep loss include US rain,
- 36:00Speaker 1: coworker relationships wow, uh, worried that they may lose their job.
- 36:06Speaker 1: That's a lot of stress. Exhausted. Oh, this is a

- 37:07Speaker 1: Like if you're stupid, I look at you like you're
- 37:09Speaker 1: stupid the whole time you talk. I don't know what
- 37:12Speaker 1: we're supposed to do with that information. No, it's just
- 37:15Speaker 1: important information that you know about me and my job.

- 38:19Speaker 1: the way that Tommy goes into the shell when you
- 38:22Speaker 1: call him stupid. But let him go in there. When
- 38:25Speaker 1: you go into the shell, he can't say no stupid.

- 42:23Speaker 1: I don't know Clay to be. Yeah, and your Spanish
- 42:26Speaker 1: version is even bigger than we talked about it. I
- 42:30Speaker 1: guess that was not Spanish that I did at the end.
- 42:32Speaker 1: We know, bubba bubba, You know that ain't Spanish that
- 42:37Speaker 1: I understood too well. I just do that in there.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I hope I didn't offend anybody what you were saying.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I have no idea. I was waiting in a dish.

- 45:08Speaker 1: left there? Okay. So the reason why I'm giving you
- 45:12Speaker 1: a call, and I've been you know, we've gone through
- 45:14Speaker 1: some security tapes and things of that nature. We're missing
- 45:17Speaker 1: so many rims of paper, we're missing thousands of paper clips,
- 45:22Speaker 1: we're missing so many office supplies, and it's been brought
- 45:26Speaker 1: to the security's attention that it's targeting that you are
- 45:29Speaker 1: the person that has taken all of this this office.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Let me let me get this right. You

- 45:48Speaker 1: after the point of actually picking you up behind items

- 46:02Speaker 1: know what? Hold hold on? What that? Can you hold that?

- 46:48Speaker 1: I will go and buy you some damn paper clips. Okay,
- 46:52Speaker 1: Well we don't want paper clips. Man. Now we've given
- 46:55Speaker 1: you a severance play and for my understanding, it's been
- 46:57Speaker 1: a substantial amount. And right now it's gonna be filing
- 47:01Speaker 1: charges and taking you to court over these paper clips
- 47:04Speaker 1: and paper I'm gonna tell you what you can do
- 47:07Speaker 1: with them. Five thousand paper clips, paper clips them together,

- 48:38Speaker 1: in your car? Fillip, that corporation I bet you do.
- 48:41Speaker 1: But I work for the company. I'm trying to run

- 50:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna kick I'm I'm going to get her right now.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Come down you You made me step in the back
- 50:38Speaker 1: room on you. Hey, let me ask you something, baby.
- 50:42Speaker 1: What is the badest, I mean, the baddest radio show
- 50:45Speaker 1: in the land, Steve Harvey Morning Show? Hey, what up?
- 50:48Speaker 1: This your boy? Chris Brandon? Right now, y'all listening to
- 50:50Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve, you have to tell
- 50:55Speaker 1: us the story? Uh you were talking about at the
- 50:59Speaker 1: mentoring camp. Well with your mother. I was now one
- 51:04Speaker 1: of the mothers or two. I was not sure one
- 51:06Speaker 1: or two of them. I couldn't hear and talk. They
- 51:11Speaker 1: couldn't talk, or I don't talk. I'm not whatever they
- 51:16Speaker 1: what they'd be saying. That's not sure. I don't really,
- 51:22Speaker 1: you know, keep up. So I'm in here talking. So
- 51:25Speaker 1: the lady up there standing off to the side is
- 51:27Speaker 1: sign it ain't. Nobody told me nothing. So I'm talking
- 51:32Speaker 1: and she just over the sun. So I looked over there,
- 51:35Speaker 1: and now I ain't saying nothing at first, then she
- 51:37Speaker 1: kept on. I turned around to excud me, what is
- 51:39Speaker 1: you doing? So now instead of talking, she keeps saying.
- 51:46Speaker 1: So I said, ma'am, I don't know what you're doing,
- 51:48Speaker 1: but sit down because I don't like all that I'm
- 51:51Speaker 1: talking around. You know, I don't know what you over
- 51:56Speaker 1: there doing all that movie, but just come on, sit
- 51:58Speaker 1: down with everybody else. So she smile and kept on
- 52:02Speaker 1: sign it. Now I noticed this, laid it down front.
- 52:05Speaker 1: It's just stand up. So I still ain't. Ain't did
- 52:10Speaker 1: the math on this ship. The women in the audience
- 52:14Speaker 1: is covering their mouth like no this food hill. And
- 52:20Speaker 1: then I said, hey, look, I don't like all that.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Just come on, sit down. So this woman was waving
- 52:25Speaker 1: at me with both hands like Steve on, you know,
- 52:28Speaker 1: waving like two one to try to I said, see,
- 52:31Speaker 1: you know what did you do? I said, Hi, I
- 52:36Speaker 1: spoke everybody when I came to here. No, what is
- 52:38Speaker 1: your double hand? Hid for still? Later than that was
- 52:42Speaker 1: holland laugh. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 52:48Speaker 1: let's buckle up, let's hold on tipe. We gotta for you.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, thank you, Tommy subject childless, manless, clueless and
- 52:56Speaker 1: hungover at forty Dear Steve Harvey and Shirley. Currently, I
- 53:00Speaker 1: am separated and over forty. Can't have any children main
- 53:04Speaker 1: reason for my divorce. Anyway, I met a man, Mr Man,
- 53:09Speaker 1: who was also separated, and we became very close. It
- 53:13Speaker 1: was great. After a year, Mr Man has his divorce.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Once my divorce was final, this summer, I thought Mr
- 53:20Speaker 1: Man and I would be together. Well. Mr Mann told
- 53:23Speaker 1: me that he was going to New Jersey to get
- 53:25Speaker 1: his ex girlfriend, the woman he should have married instead
- 53:28Speaker 1: of his wife. I had to ask what about me?
- 53:31Speaker 1: He said, I am a beautiful woman, but I had
- 53:33Speaker 1: three problems. Number one, I am too emotional. I cry
- 53:37Speaker 1: at the drop of a dime. Number two, real women
- 53:40Speaker 1: are mystery. Once that's gone, nothing is left. I'm an
- 53:43Speaker 1: open book. Number three, the big one. I should not have.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I should not have fallen in love with a married
- 53:49Speaker 1: man him. I miss all the signs of this rejection.
- 53:54Speaker 1: I tried to be open and honest with this man.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Of course, the sex was good, but I am truly
- 53:59Speaker 1: hurt so as I watch him take his ex girlfriend
- 54:03Speaker 1: on a romantic weekend to the Poconos Mountains this weekend.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Last night, I have my brown liquor, my brown liquor
- 54:10Speaker 1: song Anita Baker no more tears and cried myself to sleep.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I should have known better and controlled my feelings. At forty,
- 54:18Speaker 1: so I'll say it's my fault. I am not perfect now.
- 54:22Speaker 1: I am out of two men in one year at forty.
- 54:25Speaker 1: I pray that God heals my heart and my mind. Childless, manless,
- 54:30Speaker 1: clueless and hungover at forty. Wow. Uh, dear dear childless manless,
- 54:37Speaker 1: clueless and hungover at forty I mean, yeah, you know, Uh, God,
- 54:41Speaker 1: will you know protect you and heal you and all that.
- 54:45Speaker 1: But you have to do your part. You know, you
- 54:47Speaker 1: gotta do your part um, and that is not jumping
- 54:52Speaker 1: into something when number one, you're still married to this uh,
- 54:56Speaker 1: to your husband uh. And UH number two you know,
- 55:00Speaker 1: just jumping in not getting to know this man, you know,
- 55:03Speaker 1: sleeping with him right away. That's exactly what happened. That's
- 55:06Speaker 1: what he means by the mystery. You know. Once the
- 55:09Speaker 1: mystery is gone, then it's over. I mean telling him
- 55:12Speaker 1: everything you said. You're an open book. You don't have
- 55:14Speaker 1: to tell this man everything. He's not even your husband, um,
- 55:18Speaker 1: you know, And then being so emotional and needy. You know,
- 55:22Speaker 1: you gotta learn from um from your relationship so this
- 55:26Speaker 1: won't happen again. And as far as not being able
- 55:28Speaker 1: to have children, um, you know, if you want to
- 55:31Speaker 1: go this route, adoption is always an option. It definitely
- 55:34Speaker 1: is always an option. You know, think about that in
- 55:37Speaker 1: your next relationship. But I don't advise you to even
- 55:39Speaker 1: get in a next relationship, a new relationship until you
- 55:43Speaker 1: know you learn from this particular one, so you won't
- 55:46Speaker 1: keep making these same mistakes over and over and over again.
- 55:50Speaker 1: So take your time, know what you want, and don't
- 55:53Speaker 1: settle uh anymore. Okay, And make these not accountable, you know,
- 55:57Speaker 1: talk about their plans, find out what he wants to do.
- 56:00Speaker 1: You know, why should that have even been a surprise
- 56:02Speaker 1: to you that he wanted to go back and marry
- 56:05Speaker 1: someone else, Steve, this letter is classic, is classic, classic
- 56:15Speaker 1: example of how women get involved and not know upfront
- 56:22Speaker 1: her whole life is that. First of all, she's separated
- 56:27Speaker 1: right now, can't have any children, main reason for my divorce.
- 56:33Speaker 1: You're getting a divorce because you can't have children. Who
- 56:37Speaker 1: didn't notice in the beginning? How was this not talked
- 56:41Speaker 1: out thoroughly in the beginning. So you get to this
- 56:47Speaker 1: point with your husband and he finds out you can't
- 56:50Speaker 1: have children, or he just his size, he won't children,
- 56:53Speaker 1: or this is the reason he's telling you that he
- 56:56Speaker 1: got to leave. All it is, all it is, All
- 57:00Speaker 1: of this could have been handled up front. You were
- 57:04Speaker 1: surprised that your marriage is over because of the fact
- 57:08Speaker 1: that you can't have children. You've been knowing this a
- 57:12Speaker 1: greater part of your forty years, especially in your adult
- 57:16Speaker 1: life where it really counts. Okay. Secondly, um, you met
- 57:22Speaker 1: a man Mr. Man who was separated, which means he
- 57:27Speaker 1: was still married to Mr Man gets his divorce, and
- 57:32Speaker 1: once your divorce was final this summer, I thought Mr
- 57:37Speaker 1: Man and I would be together keyword, I thought you
- 57:41Speaker 1: once again, ma'am. And I'm just not trying not to
- 57:44Speaker 1: be too hard on you because you know you made
- 57:46Speaker 1: a mistake. But you said I thought Mr Man and
- 57:49Speaker 1: I would be together once again. Classic classic not knowing
- 57:55Speaker 1: up front. You could have found out if you and
- 57:58Speaker 1: Mr Man was gonna be together before you broke off
- 58:01Speaker 1: the cookie with this man. But now you're passed now
- 58:05Speaker 1: cookie like it's like like it's a business card. Now
- 58:08Speaker 1: you're sitting up in here and found out that Mr
- 58:10Speaker 1: Man after his divorce, is gonna go back to Jersey
- 58:13Speaker 1: and get his ex girlfriend. He could have told you
- 58:16Speaker 1: that in to begin it. Had you inquired, Ladies, you
- 58:20Speaker 1: have the right to inquire. It's not being nos it
- 58:25Speaker 1: ain't being pushy. You ain't gonna run no man off.
- 58:27Speaker 1: If a man really want you, you can't run him off.
- 58:31Speaker 1: You can't run us off. Were scary, We wont you,
- 58:36Speaker 1: we want you. We are not scary people. Men are
- 58:39Speaker 1: not scary. You don't run us off, and we won't
- 58:42Speaker 1: you Come on, come on, Pimpson. Players didn't put it
- 58:47Speaker 1: in your head that you will run us off. Men
- 58:49Speaker 1: can't be run off. So here you go. He goes
- 58:52Speaker 1: to the ex girlfriend, the woman that he should have
- 58:56Speaker 1: married instead of his wife. Oh, this is conversation you
- 59:00Speaker 1: could have add, why are you getting to matter? Who
- 59:03Speaker 1: would you have married if you didn't marry your wife?
- 59:05Speaker 1: I would have married this girl in New Jersey. Matter
- 59:07Speaker 1: of fact, if I ever get out of this, I'm
- 59:09Speaker 1: going back and get hard. You could have found this
- 59:11Speaker 1: out and saved yourself to her, So you had what
- 59:14Speaker 1: about me? What about you? Was too late? He going
- 59:17Speaker 1: to get the girl in Jersey. Ladies, you have every
- 59:20Speaker 1: right to ask up fun see what about you was first?
- 59:24Speaker 1: You gotta get the what about you out first, or
- 59:28Speaker 1: when you get to the point where you gotta ask
- 59:30Speaker 1: what about you? This ain't about you no more. This
- 59:32Speaker 1: about him and the woman in New Jersey. Now he
- 59:35Speaker 1: got his divorce, he gone, he going back to who
- 59:38Speaker 1: we should have married in the first place. You ain't
- 59:41Speaker 1: asked none of these questions cause you was swat having
- 59:44Speaker 1: a good time. Feeling good. Y'all was pleasurable. You all
- 59:48Speaker 1: had so much in common. The only thing y'all had
- 59:50Speaker 1: in commons Both y'all were separated. His plans was not
- 59:54Speaker 1: your plans. You have every right to know of a
- 59:57Speaker 1: man's plans. You especially have the right to know, ladies,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: if you are not in his plans. There are ways
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to go about finding this out. We come back, I'm
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: gonna open up a few more cans in the uh
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: in this letter. Few more items in this letter share
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: with you, especially the three problems she has. I'm too emotional,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: he says, he's too emotionally cried to drop down. Real
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: women are mystery ONTs. That is gone, nothing he's left.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I'll tell you what me and mean by that. And
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I'm an open book. And the third big one I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: should have should not have fallen in love with a
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: married man. I'll tell you what that means to when
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: we come back. You're okay. The man told me that
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: he was going to New Jersey to get his ex girlfriend,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: the woman he should have married instead of his wife.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I had to ask for about me, he said. I'm
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a beautiful woman, but I had three problems. Let's go
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: over these problems late. Number one, I am too emotional.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I cry at the drop of a dime. Well, here's
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: the deal. If a man don't love and don't have
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: emotional ties to you of any kind, which is obviously
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: this man don't. He's not buying into drama. Tears to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: a man is drama because guess what if your man
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: loves you and he sees you crying, he has to
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: fix something. We got to spring into action and do
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: something since it's it's it's the only reason we like
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: to talk to you. We don't want to talk to
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: you if if we can't fix it. So now you're
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: just crying at the drop of a dime. He don't
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: know what the hell going on. He can't fix it.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: That's drama. I'm not in love with you and I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: ain't really feeling you like that. So guess what I
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: ain't buying into this drama over no cookie, which is
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: all you are is some cookie. Second, real women are mystery.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Once that is gone, nothing is left. He told you that, Okay,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you know what that means. That means you told everything. See,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: y'all go about this the wrong way, y'all. Y'all think
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: it's being honest and open. Hey, hey, y'all better understand
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: what this really is now when you're talking to us.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: What to tell a man and what not to tell
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: a man. When you give us information, we're taking this
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: information to use it a certain way. That's what we're doing.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: We're not gathering information because we care for you. We
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: gather information because we can use it in our quest Third,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the big one, I should have not she said, I
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: should have not fell in love. That's what she said
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: with the married man. I miss all this, all the
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: signs of this rejection. No, no, no, no, you didn't
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: miss any of the signs of rejection. You didn't ask
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: for the signs. You didn't ask any questions. What was
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: his intentions after his divorce was over, Whether you've fit
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: into the plans? How does he see you? What the
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: big one is I'm gonna give you is that you
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: fell in love with a married man. You know what
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: he says to him, You had no standards. That's all
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: that says to a man, You had no standards. Now
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you won't do what Now you won't start practicing standards
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: with me. I'm not really sure if you have any,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: because what you ain't gonna do is start practicing new
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: standards with me and my feelings. I'm going up to
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Jersey and get my old girl back. Man, holler at you.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: We gotta go. Email or instagram us your thoughts on
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter at my girl. Surely Steve said something
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: on the show the other day that I think I'm
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: gonna do that. I have never done it. When you
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: go to like um stories where people have stuff on
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: layaway and if you can, if you can afford it,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: just pick a family out and pay to lay well,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: that is so good. Yeah, and you can afford it.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Kind of talk on because Walmart has a tough time
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: for a lot of families this year and they're trying
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: to have a holiday and they ain't got much, you know,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: and uh, margin I usually go and just go behind
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: the counter. As people come up, we stay in the back.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: They don't see us, and the lady goes when this
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: one's four hundred, we paid, This was a thousand we paid,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: This was eleven hundred. We pay it. Whatever it is,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: we just pay until we pay. I'll be doing that minium. Okay, Well,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I just need you if y'all can just do, I'm
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: gonna pay only if you care. It went down. Yeah,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I thought our old seventy five dollars. Well, j came
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: in here and put in on you just sold sixty
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: who is Jenny? And he thought you might look nice
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: with these socks, but ja over there with teeny glasses
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: not just head like you did a good job. So
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: again we want to thank Atlanta Magic one O seven
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: five five L A K J. Prescription is this and
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the giving will continue nationwide in New York City, d C, Philly, Chicago, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Norfolk, Charlotte, Dallas, Tampa.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Tommy will be in Detroit, carlaval in Houston handing out turkeys. Congratulations,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: it's wonderful And I ain't really trying to be stupid,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: that doesn't matter. Just speak food. But I'm just gonna
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: ask because I've never seen it, but have you ever
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: seen a turkey egg? I mean, I've never seen a
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: turkey egg before when they hatched like chickens to right,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: how can we never see no turkey egg? Yeah? Now yeah,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: where are we going with this? It was just an observation,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: like we buy it chicken eggs all day long. We
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: ain't never seen the landings that would explain that goblin
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: they're big. The turkey eggs are big, I'm assuming huh
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: yeah yeah, but think female turkey's gobble. I think they
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: make a clicking dog. It was just a dude walking around. Guy,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: I can be wrong. If it's good, you're going gobble now,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you that now. It's just random things. Egg.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I didn't see the chicken egg. I didn't see the
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: ostrich egg. I have not seeing a turkey egg. Sorry.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: First of all, First of all, Tommy, it's not as
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: many turkeys, and turkeys don't lay eggs like chicken. Turkey.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Only ladies about one sometimes two eggs a week. Come on,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: welch Westford. Where we ain't seen them? Dope, we ain't
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: seen We keep eating them. I think this means the
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: congressional investigation. Yeah, more of this craziness coming up. Right
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Um,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: coming up next. Should you bring your new friend your
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: boyfriend your girlfriend? Should you bring them home for Thanksgiving?
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: M hmm uh. This is a story. It's it's Making
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: a decision about whether or not to invite your boyfriend
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: home or your girlfriend home for Thanksgiving is never easy,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: especially and if if it's new. Dating experts recommend asking
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: yourself five important relationship questions before inviting anyone home for
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the holidays. Number one, how long have you been dating? Okay,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: the shorter of the time period, the more likely he
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: or she may not be the same. Uh, you know,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you may not be around next holiday season, so you
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: never know given time? Okay, is it worth a potential
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: discomfort of bringing someone who your family will never see again?
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: So think about that. Number two, how committed are you
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: if you're only like casually dating, you know, if you're
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: just kicking it or or seeing you know, if if
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: you haven't really been seeing this person for a real
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: long time, haven't made any you know, any commitments, you know,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: we go together, anything like that. Don't bring anyone home. Uh,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: go alone? Spend some quality time. Yeah, you know the
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: old school term. If you go together, we go together?
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: You know, just go alone. Spend some quality time with
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: your friends and your family. Okay, that's the best thing,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the best way to handle that. Number three, Are they
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: really serious about you? Are they really serious about you? Really?
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: What reason you bring somebody home? No, it's because you think, yes,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: you've got something you do, but do they feel the same.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: See that's the problem though, because they'd lie to you
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: and made you feel that way and they just want
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: to gotta bring people to the house. Do you think
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: you should? Yeah, you gotta bring them on because you
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: can find out a lot quicker everybody than bost somebody
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: whome they ain't no mo, yeah, okay. Uh. Number four,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: how formal is your family? How formal is the dinner
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: gonna be? If it's the casual dinner, you know, then
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: you can bring a friend that you're that you just
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: started dating. You can bring seeing the movie huh yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: leave that decision up to him or her, And don't
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: sweat it. What you're like the ones you se anybody
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: sit around the table? Yeah, me and got there, don't
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: bring them? And and number five, what is your life stage?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: They're saying, the younger you are, the longer you should
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: be dating someone before bringing them home for Thanksgiving. Now,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: if you're a little old, it doesn't take as much
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: time to figure it out. So there you go to
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: answer your question. I hate new people in my house.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I had to watch them. I'm sorry, there ain't nobody
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: coming to my house. I got to watch you think
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: they might steal them? You know, your relatives that bring
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: people with them. I hate that. No, no, nothing that
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: can't happen. That can't happen. I hate that. Man. What's
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: gonna happen is you ain't getting there and you're feeling
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: looking through the window while you guys any turkey in.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: First of all, let me splay some too. I got
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: a gate, so when you rain my gate, I got
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: a camels everywhere. You can't even see my cameras. You
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: had to get it. Now. As soon as you come
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: up on my screen, I looking at seeing some people in,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: can know I go sit down. You just leave them
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: at the gate. I ain't don open this gate. We're here.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Oh man, I hate it. Man. I know it's Thanksgiving,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: but we're not here. I can see the turkey on
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: this from here, but but we're not there, the turkeys there.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: You would leave somebody outside your house video eat comfortably.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: I've done I've done it. I've had him look up
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and see me in the window, and I still look
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: back at him and turn my head like I don't
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: even see it. Cold man. I've had people call me
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: listen to this. I've had people call me. I answered
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: the phone on my cell phone and said, hey, man,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I was just at your gate and your God told
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: me you weren't now. But I saw you up there
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: by your car smoking a cigar to hide it. I
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: looked down there and saw him at the gate. The
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: God ain't let him in. So now he talked, he's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: gonna call me on myself. Dog. Your God told me
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you wasn't now and I said, you up. I saw you.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I pointed at and the God turned around and saw you.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: He said, sir, he's not here. He said, So, man,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: do you just tell your god to tell people you
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: ain't that? Yeah, he said, but I saw you. Okay,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: what did he tell you? Thought about me? I see
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: your ass. Joe was waving this gate. Oh, man, me
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: and see him. Everybody we give people out of jail.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: You have nothing to people on Monday. I have helped you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: somebody what I'm helping Me and Tommy just deal with
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: our issue. Here we go get this issue out to him?
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: What what what is this? Tommy? I compliment you early
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: in the show. Did not sharing? Yeah, as a matter
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: of fact, you did, you really did, and we were
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: all shocked. Oh, Shirley's confirmation will mean nothing to mean
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: you can go talking. What just because I talked about
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: you threw me under the bus. Yesterday actually walked on.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Shut up, Jodie. Coming up more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Show. Steve. You know,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: parents want the holidays to be magical for their kids,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: and sometimes that can really lead to overdoing it with
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: the gifts. You know, sometimes we overspend because we love
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: our kids so much and we want them to have everything.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, my parents did it. Yeah, we've we've been
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: you know, uh involved in that in every kind of way.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: So Carlo said, some moms and dads have found that
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: using the rule of four helps to do that. Now, now,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: what is that? It's like you give your your child
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: four gifts only for gifts like something they want, you know,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: something that they can wear, something they can read. And
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: then it's like one more toy, like an education where
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: red yeah, and then desired, Yeah, like a desire. I'm
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: a if, I'm a boy, I don't want nothing to read.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Don't We're going to say that, no, don't want. I
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: don't want. Okay, a book, A book? It don't do No,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: it don't shoot. I can't chase it. It don't chase me.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I can't roll it down the street. I can't ride it.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: So you can make that's two toys now. Okay, so
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: you want to you want to replace book with another toy? Now,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: well I'm a little shake on that because I ain't
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: gotten overing up some boxing some stuff. Good lord, they
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: want to win some clothes. Yeah, yeah, like a damn turtleneck.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I've always hated turtle neck. Really, yeah, don't like that
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: boy came blue. Don't like I love him to the
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: turtle talk right now. I'm just talking about on me. Okay,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I love him on women. Yeah, yeah, I love turtlenecks
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: on women. I just not I can't stand turtle neck
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: on me and time it can't understand over there as
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: a turn. Really, I said me, I can't stand turtle neck. Really,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: he take it personally? Oh so you don't care for me?
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: So now don't give me nothing to wear? Wait? No, okay,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: so let's go with the rule again. Something they want something,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: they need something to wear, something to read. Now you
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: said something they want something to wear, something to read
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: to something or something. Yeah that's what you said. Won't
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: wear read in one toy. So now listen, I don't
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: want nothing to read, So make that two toys. Don't
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: buy me nothing to wear to scratch that off now
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: to the retort, and then what I won't is another
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: damn talk. So I got foe tord. That's merry Christmas
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: to me. So that's the poor rule, that's the foe
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: rules and out and flipped it into poet. If I
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: can get a wagon now, this one I needed as
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: a boy. I want to football uniform, a bike, yeah,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: a wagon, and a basketball. Oh, you gotta get that
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: cap gun. You got to get that cap You got
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: a cab gun tank can't take it out of caps.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I can play hot Scots with it. I could play
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: folk corners with a bath. I'm doing a lot with
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: a basketball played by myself. To get this jumper? Right?
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Did you ever get these four gifts? I ain't. Never
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: got him at one time? One time? Bike? And when
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: you think we rich, your daddy, who you think we're rich?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: You don't see these other people in the end bike
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: and a way. They gotta get something too. What did
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: you get? Tell me? What are your what are your four?
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I got to have a cap gun turtle that I'm sorry, right,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: and she'd go two parts that I didn't want that
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: too well, but I definitely want it now looks like
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: it might be on your knee. You know what to wear?
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I wanted the ability to kid outfit, you know, jacking
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: and some jeans and got ability to kids. Yeah, that
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: was tight right there, made out the tough ski you
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: know that right there, that's what you wear. I wanted
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: a big wheel though. That was the Yeah, big wheel
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: you can climb up on. Right there. You're gonna get me, man, junior,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: what do you want? That's only three things? That's a
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: capital really the kid outfit in a big win. What's
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: the fourth? I get one moment? Yeah, I read, I
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: read the instruction, you know what in a tari Yeah
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: all right. It was just a little ball going back
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: and that was all day so you can sit there
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: all day and play it. I got hot scope. If
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I got a bite, Yeah, that eighteen remote control van,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: the eighteen r T with me the teen got If
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I got that, then I had a saga Genesis, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: he had Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson had a game on that. Boy,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Michael Jackson had a game on that where you can
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: dance like you just throw me and there's something genesis.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: They got that on the widow to Michael Jackson dance game. Yeah. Man, Yeah,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: see the bike's transportation. You need that. The wagon was income.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: That's how I hustle my proper income. Yeah, I hustle.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Pop up with the football uniform was just I got
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: tired of just getting head injuries. It though, I think
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: that's really wrong. Yeah. Basketball was just because I thought

- 1:23:41Speaker 1: you know how she can't sing and when she's singing
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: and she missed a note, and everybody in church and

- 1:24:37Speaker 1: three after the hour. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, here's the question who should
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: host Thanksgiving dinner? Boy, this year has gone by fast.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: The relative with the bigger house is a question of
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the relative who is the better cook? The better cook?
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: I'd rather be crowded and the food space and were
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: just sitting way way each other complain eating green bean cassero.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Hey man, where's y'all turing to draw? There's an echo
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: of the house is so big? One kid, cranberad. They're
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: just houling across the big empty house. It's big, but
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: the food ain't good. I'd rather be in that tight
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: sitting the elbow to elbow watching the game, adressing whisper.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: They sit right next to you. Hey, man, if you
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: ain't gonna eat all your hand, let me right, you know. Hey, look,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: if you ain't get enough cleanberry house, I got plenty
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: on my plate. Just reach on over. Yeah, how about
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: that set potato pie? Man, we go to the project,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: so some good food. Yeah, anywhere, man, keep walking outside
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: checking on your car, and keep coming back going back in.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Just say you gotta don't check to check out your car.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I'm going out here and see if everything all right.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Earl your turn, check on the car. Man. I love dressing.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Marjorie makes the dressing every year, and all her family
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: asked for pansa really good dope dope, and we deep
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: fried to turkey. Your son has to build butter ball.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: Deep fried your son turkey. And the only thing I
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: used to do everything's I did. I did the yams
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: every year. Really stop doing that? Why oh you don't
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: have to anymore now? Oh? Yeah, man, man, Mama Bridges,
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: can you say her her banana pudding? You don't even understand.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: You throw you into something. Yeah, yeah, that shirt. You
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: know that. But I've heard him talk about her banana
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: pudding before. Let me tell you something. Banana putting her
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: strawberry cakeberry cake, strawberry cake with your nuts on outside,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: yummy cake with strawberry when you ain't no strawberries. It's
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: just strawberry flavor. Okay. It's sweet, pink icing and pink cake,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: but it's got nuts all over the outside of it.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: It's kind of it reminds me of German chocolate cake,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: but it's all pink. Favorite German chocolate. That's Marjorie fac
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: It was my favorite. To Marjorie can make a German
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: chocolate cake and listen to me. And I'm not saying
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: this because I'm married to her, because she's not listening.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Her German chocolate cake tastes just like my mama Germany
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: chocolate cake. Oh that's that's major. And if it didn't,
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: and if it didn't, I wouldn't say it. When a
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: black person make a German chocolate click, ain't it a
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: black cake? It ain't. It's no longer at coming up.
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: Steve's closing remarks at forty nine after the hour, Gather
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: round everyone you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: you're closing remarks for us. Hey, let me let me
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: give you this thought that will help you out. Oh
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: about other people's opinion. Don't let other people's opinion determine
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: your direction. Don't let other people's opinions in fact your
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: direct you see, let let me explain something to you.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: They don't know. They actually do not know what's best
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: for you. Most people don't, even people who are well meaning.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: They just really don't know the answer to your success lies. Really,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: I'm telling you, between you and the relationship you have
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: with God. God is in the dream come true business
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: and whatever he puts in your imagination, that's what he
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: had for you. We've covered this last week. But if
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: you're gonna allow people's opinion, other people's opinion to affect
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: your direction, you are now being guided by some people
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: other than you and God. What do they really know?
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Another thing about other people's opinion. You gotta be careful,
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: I because sometimes you need to look very closely at
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: the person that's providing the opinion. Look at them. Some
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: of them really really shouldn't be in the advisatory capacity.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: They really shouldn't. Man, it's some people passing out advice
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: in your life that hate that ain't took their own advice.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: It's some people giving you advice who need to be advised.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: It's some people giving you advice that don't listen to
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: nothing nobody else got to say. And their life is
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: just an example of it. They are walking results of
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: their of their opinion of themselves, and and and and
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: and the and their ability to follow directions. So you
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: gotta be careful when you're taking directions from other people,
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: because everybody don't mean well, they don't even when they
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: think they do. Man, how many times man in my life? Man,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: if I let somebody give me an opinion about me,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: an opinion which I should have never have listened to.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: You know, I'd say this all the time. I was
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: watching um um um Joel Osteen on TV, and he said,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: people's opinion of you is none of your business, nor
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: should you make it yours. It doesn't matter what their
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: opinion of you is. It just doesn't matter because God
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: is in to come get you business. Let me tell
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: you something, man, wherever you are right now, I'm gonna
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: tell you a story I heard one time. It's called
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: It's like the Thomas and the boat story. This man
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: named Thomas. One day was out on the boat by ourselves,
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: a beautiful day. It's out there, sailing on the boat,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: and a storm came up out of nowhere, and it
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: capsized the boat and he was way out and he
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: was lost at seat. But he got lost, and he
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: got washed up on a deserted island, and so he
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: got up. He woke up. He shook up pretty bad,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: and he found himself on his deserted island. He didn't
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: know where his boat was, and that he was just
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: sitting there because the voted capsized, and so he's sitting there.
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: So days went by, days and days and days went by.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: He just out on his eyelid, just trying to make
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: it work, running out of food. He can't get nobody's attention.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: He drawing notes in the sand and stuff. Help. Nothing
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: planes going by, he don't he waving, don't nobody see him.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: He just on this island. So weeks it went by.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: So he got kind of crafty, so he decided one
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: day to build himself some shelter. Took some some bamboo
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: and some banana leaves, and he built, you know, a
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: little covering just for some shelter at night. And this
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: is going along pretty good for a few days, but
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: he's getting a little bit more and more depressed because
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: nobody can mine. I mean, it ain't a boat going
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: by a nothing. And it just started getting real down
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: on itself because his predicament seems so unbelievable. So it
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: made a fire like you do usually at night, and
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: the wind came up. And when the wind came up,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: a couple of the sparks hit the shelter, these dried
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: banana leaves and bamboo, and caught it on fire. I
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: mean a horrible fire. It's just burning it down. It
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: had been raining that night, man, and it started raining
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: real bad, and he trying to stay warm, and all
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: of a sudden, sparks catch holding all of a sudden,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: his whole his whole house, a little hut temporary shelter
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: is on fire. And he just through now and he's
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: just going, God, where are you? Man? I'm so what
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: are you doing to me? Now? I've been out here weeks.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: I can't get off this island. You don't hear me?
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: And now you didn't burn down my shelter. I mean,
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: it's just a fire, just burning and he's standing there, man,
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: just complaining and telling God how he didn't forsake him,
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: and he didn't forgot he was out here in all
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: this trouble, been out here all these weeks, Lord, where
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: are you now? And all of a sudden he saw
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: some flashlights and he saw some people running up on shore,
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: and he couldn't believe it, for some people had had
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: found him. And he said, man, I've been out here
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: for weeks. What what did y'all do? How did y'all
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: find me? They said, we saw your smoke signal that
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you're sent up. We just responding to your smoke signal.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: He just dropped down and started crying because he thought
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: God had forsaken him, burned up his hut. But see
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: that disastrous moment right there turned out to be just
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: what he needed, that smoke signal, and they saw that
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: and what he thought was a disastrous fire, the one
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: ship that was going by. I saw the flames and
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: the smoke and rescue. God is coming, man, No matter
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: what anybody's opinion of you is, God is coming, no
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: matter what they think, no matter how dog it's seen
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: for you, God is coming. He always is. Always. Keep
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: that in mind. Have a great weekend, y'all. You should
