Then: the mandatory requirement to wear a wig, bands and bar jacket in the courts of the Kingdom of Tonga is being questioned. Lawyer Tutone Maka raised the motion at the Tonga Law Society's AGM last week to remove the wig, bands and bar jacket as mandatory at court appearances in Tonga. Wallace talks to Tutone about why he thinks the wig has had its day.
