Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you and Senator there are going to be many people
- 0:06Speaker 2: that are going to listen to the show and they're
- 0:09Speaker 2: going to be enraged that they haven't already seen the
- 0:11Speaker 2: news that the mastermind behind nine to eleven is going
- 0:15Speaker 2: to have his life spared in a deal that he
- 0:20Speaker 2: made with the United States government.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Well, this week has been a very very good week.
- 0:25Speaker 4: If you happen to be a terrorist, if you happen
- 0:27Speaker 4: to be someone who wants to murder Americans, this has
- 0:30Speaker 4: been a phenomenal week because Joe Biden Kamala Harris just
- 0:33Speaker 4: gave a gift to coleead Sheaik Muhammad. They agreed to
- 0:36Speaker 4: take the death penalty off the table and spare his life.
- 0:39Speaker 3: It's an absolute outrage.
- 0:41Speaker 4: It's an insult to the families of all of those
- 0:44Speaker 4: who were murdered on nine to eleven, And it sadly
- 0:48Speaker 4: is something we predicted a year ago that this is
- 0:52Speaker 4: what Biden and Harris were going to do. They did
- 0:54Speaker 4: exactly that. Also this very same week, two illegal aliens
- 0:59Speaker 4: from Jordan who tried to breach the Quantico base were
- 1:03Speaker 4: allowed to walk free. They were allowed to post bail
- 1:06Speaker 4: and they just walked free.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Again.
- 1:08Speaker 4: A very good week if you happen to be a terrorist.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Not a good week if you want to keep American safe.
- 1:14Speaker 4: We're going to talk about all that.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot, it's an important episode. I also
- 1:18Speaker 2: want to just say thank you to so many listeners.
- 1:21Speaker 2: You guys have rallied for the people in Israel, and
- 1:25Speaker 2: just a couple of nights ago, I was having dinner
- 1:28Speaker 2: with the incredible team from IFCJ. Now, if you don't
- 1:32Speaker 2: know the work that they're doing, the International Fellowship of
- 1:35Speaker 2: Christians and Jews, that's why I want you to take
- 1:38Speaker 2: a moment and to see what they're doing and get involved.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Since the war has broken out and the constant attacks
- 1:46Speaker 2: have been happening against the Israeli people, IFCJ has been
- 1:51Speaker 2: on the ground and because of your donations, they've been
- 1:53Speaker 2: able to help people in need and save lives, whether
- 1:57Speaker 2: it is giving little bulletproof vests, putting in bomb shelters,
- 2:01Speaker 2: helping with the needs of those that have already been attacked,
- 2:07Speaker 2: and also providing armed ambulances that have been able to
- 2:11Speaker 2: evacuate people, including on the day of October the seventh
- 2:15Speaker 2: because they were bulletproof and they were able to save lives.
- 2:20Speaker 2: When I sat down with several of the people that
- 2:23Speaker 2: come over from Israel for the first time since the
- 2:25Speaker 2: attack on October the seventh, to hear the stories, it
- 2:29Speaker 2: breaks your heart, but it also makes you so thankful
- 2:32Speaker 2: that there are listeners out there like you, guys that
- 2:34Speaker 2: are supporting and standing with the people in Israel that
- 2:38Speaker 2: need so many things, basic things, whether it is food
- 2:42Speaker 2: and water after bombing happens in their city and their
- 2:46Speaker 2: town and their neighborhood, or it is the bomb shelters
- 2:50Speaker 2: that they're putting in and placing, or the armor that
- 2:54Speaker 2: is given to the first responders. The work that you
- 2:58Speaker 2: were doing is unbelievable.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So thank you.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Now, if you've not gotten involved with IFCJ, here's your
- 3:04Speaker 2: opportunity to stand with the people of Israel and make
- 3:07Speaker 2: a real difference. Whether it's armored security trucks, whether it
- 3:11Speaker 2: is stopping bullets from terrorists who are firing at the
- 3:15Speaker 2: people that are trying to save the lives of those
- 3:17Speaker 2: who have already been wounded. This is the work they're doing.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I want you to hear more about the stories and
- 3:22Speaker 2: what is happening. Just go to support IFCJ dot org.
- 3:27Speaker 2: That is support IFCJ dot org. You'll hear these stories.
- 3:33Speaker 2: You'll be able to show your support for Israel as well.
- 3:36Speaker 2: They need our help right now and you can get
- 3:39Speaker 2: involved support IFCJ dot org. Senator, let's just talk about
- 3:45Speaker 2: a year ago, almost to the day you and I
- 3:50Speaker 2: did this show warning after letters went to family members
- 3:55Speaker 2: of the victims of nine to eleven that there was
- 3:57Speaker 2: a possibility of a plea deal with lead Chack Muhammad,
- 4:00Speaker 2: the mastermind of nine to eleven, that his life would
- 4:04Speaker 2: be spared if he just said, Okay, fine, I'll plead
- 4:08Speaker 2: guilty the charges. Now, to be clear about who Khalid
- 4:11Speaker 2: shake Muhammad is. He's not just the mastermind of nine
- 4:17Speaker 2: to eleven. This is a guy that has confessed to
- 4:20Speaker 2: at least thirty one horrific and barbaric attacks, including the
- 4:25Speaker 2: nineteen ninety three bombing of the World Trade Center. On
- 4:28Speaker 2: top of that, he was the guy that was there
- 4:31Speaker 2: for with the beheading of the Wall Street Journal reporter
- 4:33Speaker 2: General Pearl. He was the mastermind behind the two thousand
- 4:38Speaker 2: and two Bali bombings, and he was a man that
- 4:43Speaker 2: was in charge with a plan to blow up the
- 4:45Speaker 2: Panama Canal, he had active plans to assassinate Jimmy Carter,
- 4:52Speaker 2: and a plot to blow up suspension bridges in New
- 4:54Speaker 2: York City. Now, these are just some of the things
- 4:57Speaker 2: that he was working on. Knew how to kill people.
- 5:01Speaker 2: He killed women, children, he killed police officers, firemen, first responders,
- 5:07Speaker 2: and he was also accountable for killing American troops overseas
- 5:12Speaker 2: after nine to eleven. And this administration just spared his life.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Why would they make this deal except for the fact
- 5:20Speaker 2: they say we just want to close down gem.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Well sadly, that's exactly it. It's all politics, all the time.
- 5:26Speaker 4: And a year ago, last August, we devoted an entire
- 5:30Speaker 4: podcast to focusing on the very real risk that this
- 5:32Speaker 4: was going to happen, that the Biden Harris White House,
- 5:35Speaker 4: this is what they wanted to have happened. And they
- 5:38Speaker 4: announced just this week that khleege shak Muhammad they've they've
- 5:42Speaker 4: cut a plea deal with him and two other co conspirators,
- 5:45Speaker 4: Walid Mohammad Sali Mubarik bin atash Boy that's a mouthful,
- 5:51Speaker 4: and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al hau Sui, both of whom
- 5:58Speaker 4: along with with Kleege Shake Muhammad have been in Guantanamo
- 6:02Speaker 4: Bay since two thousand and three, and understand Joe Biden
- 6:07Speaker 4: and Kamala Harris, and by that I mean really the
- 6:09Speaker 4: left wing radicals that surrounds them, because I don't know
- 6:11Speaker 4: that Joe Biden wants anything other than just to have
- 6:14Speaker 4: his Jello at four pm. But the radicals that run
- 6:17Speaker 4: this White House and that are now trying to have
- 6:20Speaker 4: a coronation for Kamala Harris, they came in with the objective.
- 6:24Speaker 4: They hate GITMO, they want to shut it down, they
- 6:26Speaker 4: hate that it exists, and in order to shut it down,
- 6:31Speaker 4: this was the deal they wanted to cut. And understand,
- 6:36Speaker 4: look nine to eleven, a lot of our listeners are
- 6:40Speaker 4: young enough that you weren't alive on September eleventh. What
- 6:43Speaker 4: happened on September eleventh, two thousand and one, two nine
- 6:48Speaker 4: hundred and seventy six people were murdered. It remains the
- 6:53Speaker 4: most horrific terrorist attack in the history of our country.
- 6:57Speaker 4: And colleague Shake Muhammad planned it and directed those executing it.
- 7:04Speaker 4: And for this administration to say the death penalty is
- 7:09Speaker 4: no longer a possibility, We're going to agree that you
- 7:14Speaker 4: can go. You can leave Gitmo, you can go to
- 7:17Speaker 4: an American prison, and you will not face capital punishment. Well,
- 7:23Speaker 4: let me quote retired police officer Jim Smith. He is
- 7:29Speaker 4: the husband of Moira Smith, who was the only female
- 7:32Speaker 4: NYPD officer who died in September eleventh. He said, when
- 7:36Speaker 4: he heard this news, he felt like he'd been kicked
- 7:39Speaker 4: in the balls. And here's his quote. The prosecution and
- 7:43Speaker 4: families have waited twenty three years to have our day
- 7:46Speaker 4: in court to put on the record what these animals
- 7:49Speaker 4: did to our loved ones. They took that opportunity away
- 7:53Speaker 4: from us. They committed the worst crime in the history
- 7:57Speaker 4: of our country. They should receive the high penalty. Or
- 8:02Speaker 4: here's another quote. This is from retired cup Kathy Vigiana,
- 8:05Speaker 4: who's the wife of NYPD detective Joseph Vigiana, who was
- 8:09Speaker 4: also killed on September eleventh. Here's what she said quote,
- 8:13Speaker 4: I'm angry and disappointed that enemy combatants who killed thousands
- 8:18Speaker 4: of Americans in our homeland are now able to exploit
- 8:22Speaker 4: the US judicial system to their benefit, receiving support from
- 8:27Speaker 4: American taxpayers for shelter, food, and healthcare for the rest
- 8:32Speaker 4: of their lives.
- 8:33Speaker 2: You know, you get your head around this, and it's
- 8:36Speaker 2: all about a feather in the cap, and that's how
- 8:40Speaker 2: they look at at the White House. They were obsessed
- 8:43Speaker 2: with getting us out of Afghanistan on the anniversary of
- 8:46Speaker 2: nine to eleven. It cost Americans lives at the airport
- 8:50Speaker 2: and countless people operators that risk their lives to save
- 8:55Speaker 2: American lives, translators and others who were beheaded and tortured
- 8:58Speaker 2: and killed after we left so abruptly, and they were
- 9:02Speaker 2: kill lists that were clearly put.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Out for them.
- 9:06Speaker 2: They wanted to close quickly, not because it was the
- 9:09Speaker 2: safest way to do it, to draw down in Afghanistan,
- 9:12Speaker 2: but because it was a political moment that they wanted
- 9:15Speaker 2: to say on the anniversary of nine to eleven, I
- 9:18Speaker 2: ended America's longest war. That was the goal for Joe Biden.
- 9:21Speaker 2: That's what he did. And they've been obsessed with closing
- 9:24Speaker 2: Guantanamo Bay. And phase one of getting this deal done
- 9:28Speaker 2: was the obsession with the left that, oh, we waterboarded
- 9:30Speaker 2: Khalide Sheik Muhammad. Yeah, the guy knew about a lot
- 9:33Speaker 2: of plans and a lot of terrorist attacks, and he
- 9:35Speaker 2: knew where we assumed asam Bin Lad and other terrorists were,
- 9:39Speaker 2: and they said, oh, you should feel sorry for him.
- 9:40Speaker 2: That should have never happened. He should get a plea deal.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And then they just said, we're just going to run
- 9:44Speaker 2: out the clock here. And then we gave him lawyers,
- 9:47Speaker 2: and we paid incredible amounts of money for his legal
- 9:49Speaker 2: defense team with our tax dollars, and then we gave
- 9:52Speaker 2: him incredible medical care and all sorts of other benefits.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And now we're going to, as you mentioned, keep it
- 9:57Speaker 2: live for us his life. But I go back to
- 9:59Speaker 2: the victims here, and this is what pisces me off.
- 10:02Speaker 2: There are tens of thousands of family members that get
- 10:06Speaker 2: a damn letter in the mail, YEP form letter, a
- 10:10Speaker 2: form letter that just says, hey, the guy that killed
- 10:13Speaker 2: your family, I'm sorry your dad or your mom or
- 10:15Speaker 2: your grandmother had or your son or your daughter had
- 10:18Speaker 2: to choose between burning to death and the twins towers
- 10:20Speaker 2: or jumping out the window. The guy who planned that
- 10:24Speaker 2: is going to live now because we want to just
- 10:28Speaker 2: move this off the books and we want to close
- 10:30Speaker 2: down Gitmo for another moment like we had in Afghanistan
- 10:33Speaker 2: that by the way, turn out to be a disaster.
- 10:35Speaker 1: And they get a damn form letter.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Well, listen, you're right that this White House, Joe Biden,
- 10:43Speaker 4: Kamala Harris, what characterizes every decision they make is they
- 10:47Speaker 4: put politics first. They put their radical partisan agenda above
- 10:52Speaker 4: the interest of Americans. Why do we have open borders.
- 10:55Speaker 4: We have open borders because they want to stay in power,
- 10:57Speaker 4: because they wanted to let eleven and a half million
- 10:59Speaker 4: e Gal aliens in because they think they'll vote for
- 11:01Speaker 4: Democrats either now, some illegally now and the others in
- 11:05Speaker 4: the future when they greet the manesty and give them
- 11:07Speaker 4: voting rights. So if in the meantime people have to die,
- 11:11Speaker 4: that's a perfectly acceptable risk from their perspective. Why did
- 11:14Speaker 4: we pull out of Afghanistan so incompetently in a way
- 11:17Speaker 4: that resulted in thirteen servicemen and women being murdered, Because,
- 11:20Speaker 4: as you just said, they wanted to announce we were
- 11:23Speaker 4: out of Afghanistan on the anniversary of nine to eleven.
- 11:26Speaker 4: It's all about the political announcement, And here this was
- 11:30Speaker 4: about appeasing the leftists who hate the fact that Guantanamo
- 11:35Speaker 4: exists at all.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Look.
- 11:37Speaker 4: The Police Benevolent Association president Patrick Hendry says he was
- 11:43Speaker 4: inundated with calls from officers families after he learned of
- 11:47Speaker 4: the plea deal, and he said it was quote heartbreaking
- 11:50Speaker 4: and infuriating.
- 11:51Speaker 3: And here's what he.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Said, quote their loved one sacrifice is being disrespected and
- 11:57Speaker 4: they are being victimized all over again. In these individuals
- 12:02Speaker 4: masterminded an attack on our nation that not only claimed
- 12:05Speaker 4: two nine hundred and seventy seven lives that day, but
- 12:10Speaker 4: thousands more in the years since. Their crime merits the
- 12:15Speaker 4: ultimate punishment. There should be no plea and absolutely no leniency.
- 12:22Speaker 4: And I'll tell you what the firefighters feel the same way.
- 12:24Speaker 4: The Uniform Firefighters Association President Andrew Ansbrot said that FDNIS
- 12:34Speaker 4: thousands of firefighters feel quote betrayed and disgusted.
- 12:39Speaker 3: And here's what he said.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Quote three hundred and forty three New York City firefighters
- 12:45Speaker 4: died on that day, and hundreds have died since then.
- 12:50Speaker 4: We're still losing three firefighters a month to the effects
- 12:54Speaker 4: of nine to eleven Ground Zero. We feel betrayed and
- 12:59Speaker 4: disgusted that they will not face the ultimate justice of
- 13:03Speaker 4: the death penalty. That these terrorists were offered a plea
- 13:07Speaker 4: deal which will allow them to live under old age
- 13:10Speaker 4: with contact with their families.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I pause because I'm angry.
- 13:17Speaker 2: And if you know anybody that's lost a loved one,
- 13:20Speaker 2: whether it's on nine to eleven, and you and I
- 13:21Speaker 2: have friends that lost loved ones on nine to eleven,
- 13:24Speaker 2: but we also.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Well, and Heidi and I lost to very good friends.
- 13:28Speaker 4: We were very good friends with Barbara Olson. She was
- 13:31Speaker 4: married to Ted Olson, who was the Solicitor General of
- 13:34Speaker 4: the United States under George W.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Bush.
- 13:37Speaker 4: We had been with Barbara not many weeks before nine
- 13:41Speaker 4: to eleven, and she was on the plane that crashed
- 13:45Speaker 4: into the Pentagon. She lost her life on that day.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I had dinner tonight with I mean, as you know,
- 13:53Speaker 2: I'm in Pinehurst, which is right next to Fort Bragger
- 13:56Speaker 2: they renamed it being PC Fort Freedom or whatever they
- 13:59Speaker 2: call it now, with a couple of different guys that
- 14:03Speaker 2: signed up after nine to eleven. They're still in and
- 14:07Speaker 2: we were having dinner and this subject came up, and
- 14:10Speaker 2: it was sad to see their demeanor change because they
- 14:15Speaker 2: are enraged because their friends died. They lost their friends
- 14:22Speaker 2: fighting these terrorists. Their friends were killed by people that
- 14:28Speaker 2: were being trained and recruited by Khalichik Muhammad. One of
- 14:31Speaker 2: the things that was brought up tonight at dinner. That
- 14:34Speaker 2: made them so mad was they said. What people forget
- 14:38Speaker 2: is Kalechik Muhammad was not just the master nine eleven.
- 14:42Speaker 2: He was the master of the propaganda to recruit radicals
- 14:46Speaker 2: into al Qaeda, and those radicals were the ones on
- 14:49Speaker 2: the battlefield that were killing American soldiers. So it's not
- 14:54Speaker 2: just the people that died on nine to eleven. There
- 14:57Speaker 2: were countless others that signed up to fight the tares
- 15:01Speaker 2: after nine to eleven that were fighting against people that
- 15:05Speaker 2: had been recruited through propaganda and training by Khalichaik Muhammad,
- 15:11Speaker 2: who were then killed. By the way, he was never
- 15:13Speaker 2: charged directly for their murders, right, And he said, so
- 15:17Speaker 2: to be clear, now, you sent men and women in uniform,
- 15:20Speaker 2: American men and women uniform to go kill these people.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You die.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And the guy who mastermind the whole damn thing that
- 15:26Speaker 2: started at all is now going to live the rest
- 15:29Speaker 2: of his life until he naturally expires. And you think
- 15:33Speaker 2: Americans are going to want to sign up to fight
- 15:36Speaker 2: for America, this is what they know happens after the
- 15:38Speaker 2: worst tears attack on American soil in American history.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Well, and listen the media wants America to forget about
- 15:45Speaker 4: nine to eleven, forget about the crazed theocratic lunatics who
- 15:50Speaker 4: sought to murder us, who want to destroy us. And
- 15:53Speaker 4: I will say, for those of us who are old
- 15:56Speaker 4: enough to have been alive, every one of us remembers
- 16:01Speaker 4: exactly where you were that morning. Where were you in
- 16:06Speaker 4: the morning of nine to eleven.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I was in my college dorm room at Ole miss
- 16:10Speaker 2: and my phone, my cell phone rang and it was
- 16:13Speaker 2: a producer at Fox News because I was doing TV then,
- 16:16Speaker 2: and he just said, turn on your TV and hung up.
- 16:20Speaker 4: It was the horror all across this country. Everyone life
- 16:25Speaker 4: just stopped for me. I was in DC. It was
- 16:27Speaker 4: the beginning of the Bush administration. I was working in
- 16:32Speaker 4: the Bush administration. I was the head of policy at
- 16:34Speaker 4: the Federal Trade Commission at the time. And that morning
- 16:37Speaker 4: I was walking out of our apartment, literally at the
- 16:41Speaker 4: front door, and my phone rang and it was Heidie
- 16:43Speaker 4: and she had left earlier that morning. Heidi was working
- 16:45Speaker 4: at the White House. And Heidi called me and said,
- 16:47Speaker 4: turn on the television right now. So I stopped. I
- 16:50Speaker 4: went back to my apartment, turned it on and watched
- 16:53Speaker 4: and we saw the twin towers the World Trade Centers,
- 16:59Speaker 4: and we saw smoke coming out of the top of
- 17:02Speaker 4: one of the two towers.
- 17:04Speaker 3: And early on.
- 17:07Speaker 4: We didn't know what it was. We didn't know if
- 17:09Speaker 4: it was initially just that the early speculation was it
- 17:12Speaker 4: was some horrible accident. Some pilot of a small plane
- 17:16Speaker 4: had screwed up and crashed into a building. It was
- 17:20Speaker 4: not immediately apparent what had happened. And as everyone's watching
- 17:24Speaker 4: one of the towers with smoke coming out of it,
- 17:28Speaker 4: the whole world watched in horror as we saw a
- 17:31Speaker 4: commercial jet, a second commercial jet steer around and crash
- 17:36Speaker 4: into the second tower, and the instant that happened, everyone
- 17:41Speaker 4: knew exactly what this was. This was not a tragic accident.
- 17:46Speaker 4: This was a deliberate act of murder, a horrible act
- 17:48Speaker 4: of terrorism. And there was a level of confusion, There
- 17:54Speaker 4: was a level of just horror and disbelief. So Heidi
- 17:59Speaker 4: at the time, as I said, was working at the
- 18:00Speaker 4: White House. Initially, when the first plane hit, the Secret
- 18:04Speaker 4: Service told the folks at the White House just stay
- 18:07Speaker 4: where you are, keep working, and everyone's watching it. But
- 18:11Speaker 4: everyone's staying there. When the second plane hit, they ran
- 18:16Speaker 4: through the hallways and they literally told people get out now, run,
- 18:20Speaker 4: do not walk. Run, and so Heidie sprinted out. Her
- 18:26Speaker 4: car was parked in an underground parking garage, so she
- 18:29Speaker 4: couldn't get her car. They wouldn't let her get her car,
- 18:32Speaker 4: and so Heidi proceeded to take off her high heels
- 18:35Speaker 4: and walk home barefoot. We had an apartment in Arlington, Virginia,
- 18:43Speaker 4: actually just south of the Pentagon and shortly thereafter, so
- 18:50Speaker 4: there was a lot of confusion about what was happening.
- 18:53Speaker 3: I'm watching TV.
- 18:54Speaker 4: I'm trying to get in touch with Heidi, but cell
- 18:57Speaker 4: phones were not working very well. There was a period
- 19:00Speaker 4: where it was being reported, I think on ABC that
- 19:02Speaker 4: a plane had hit the White House, which obviously I'm
- 19:05Speaker 4: having trouble getting Heidi, and so I'm very freaked out
- 19:08Speaker 4: that she's in harm's way. She ended up walking across
- 19:12Speaker 4: Memorial Bridge and walking home to our apartment, just just
- 19:15Speaker 4: carrying her high heels. And the plane that had been
- 19:19Speaker 4: reported that had hit the White House is actually the
- 19:21Speaker 4: one that struck the Pentagon, and as I mentioned, Barbara Olson,
- 19:26Speaker 4: our friend, was on it, and Barbara actually picked up
- 19:29Speaker 4: her cell phone on the plane and was able to
- 19:33Speaker 4: contact her husband, Ted. She got Ted on the phone,
- 19:36Speaker 4: and Ted was at the time, he was the number
- 19:38Speaker 4: three official at the Bush Department of Justice, and he
- 19:40Speaker 4: knew exactly what was happening. He knew his wife was
- 19:43Speaker 4: on that phone. And Barbara was a firebrand, was she
- 19:48Speaker 4: was passionate, she was a fighter, she was conservative, she
- 19:51Speaker 4: was awesome. And Barbara said said to Ted, what do
- 19:56Speaker 4: I do? How do we stop them? And that was
- 20:00Speaker 4: the last conversation they had because moments later the plane
- 20:02Speaker 4: crashed in the Pentagon.
- 20:04Speaker 2: You think about that, and then you think about the
- 20:07Speaker 2: cover up of this decision, and I think we should
- 20:10Speaker 2: talk about that because it's important. Yes, the White House
- 20:14Speaker 2: is acting now like they had nothing to do with this.
- 20:18Speaker 2: White House Press secretary today Jean Pierre was asked about
- 20:23Speaker 2: this moment, and I want you to hear just how
- 20:27Speaker 2: they're playing this again politics. It's a lie, and I
- 20:31Speaker 2: want us to explain that lie. But first here is
- 20:33Speaker 2: what she said when she was asked about it.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Katchack, thank you, Krein. I'm just hoping for a response
- 20:39Speaker 5: to the nine to eleven plea deal that's spared the
- 20:42Speaker 5: architects of death penalty.
- 20:43Speaker 1: The new York City Firefighters Union put out a statement.
- 20:46Speaker 5: It said, we are disgusted and disappointed that these three
- 20:49Speaker 5: terrorists were given a plea deal and allowed to escape
- 20:52Speaker 5: the ultimate justice, while each month three more heroes when
- 20:55Speaker 5: the fdn.
- 20:55Speaker 3: WY are dying from World Trade Center illnesses.
- 20:58Speaker 5: Does the administration have a message.
- 20:59Speaker 3: For look, our hearts go out.
- 21:02Speaker 5: I mean, not much more than I can add to
- 21:04Speaker 5: what you heard from the National Security Advisor and how
- 21:06Speaker 5: I just answered the question to one of your colleagues,
- 21:09Speaker 5: and I'll just reiterate, obviously, our hearts go out to
- 21:12Speaker 5: the families loved who lost a loved one. We didn't
- 21:16Speaker 5: have a role in this. This was not something that
- 21:18Speaker 5: we were involved in, and so we are determined to
- 21:23Speaker 5: make sure that they get justice. These families get justice.
- 21:27Speaker 5: I just don't have anything else to add to what
- 21:29Speaker 5: the National Security Advisor just just dated from.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Here moments ago, Senator, I mean need I think you
- 21:36Speaker 2: need to explain how big of a lie this is.
- 21:40Speaker 4: But actually actually play play the next clip, which which
- 21:43Speaker 4: is the National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, so she's referencing
- 21:47Speaker 4: what he said.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Play that as well, switching gears for a moment.
- 21:51Speaker 6: I want to ask you about a key deal that
- 21:54Speaker 6: we reached nine to eleven suspects by military the military
- 21:59Speaker 6: boards down one rote. Republicans are condemning this as showing
- 22:04Speaker 6: weakness and calling it a sweetheart deal because it avoids
- 22:08Speaker 6: trial of the debt penalty.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I was wondering if the administration.
- 22:11Speaker 7: Has a response to that. As we said last night,
- 22:15Speaker 7: the White House received word that the convening Authority had
- 22:19Speaker 7: entered these pre trial agreements that had been negotiated by
- 22:23Speaker 7: military prosecutors with KSM and some of the other nine
- 22:26Speaker 7: to eleven defendants, and we had no role in that process.
- 22:30Speaker 7: The President had no role, the Vice President had no role,
- 22:33Speaker 7: I had no role, The White House had no role.
- 22:35Speaker 7: And we were informed yesterday, the same day that they
- 22:38Speaker 7: went out publicly that this pre trial agreement had been
- 22:43Speaker 7: accepted by the convening authority. What the President did upon
- 22:47Speaker 7: learning of that was direct his team to consult as
- 22:50Speaker 7: appropriate with officials and lawyers at the Department of Defense
- 22:54Speaker 7: on this matter. Those consultations are ongoing, and I have
- 22:57Speaker 7: nothing more to add at this time.
- 22:58Speaker 4: And well, of course he has nothing more to add. Yeah,
- 23:02Speaker 4: of course he has nothing more to add. And by
- 23:04Speaker 4: the way, Crane Jean Pierre, Our hearts go out to them.
- 23:07Speaker 4: No they don't. You didn't give a damn because what
- 23:10Speaker 4: Jake Sullivan doesn't admit there is why this Pleague deal
- 23:15Speaker 4: was reached, and it was reached because Joe Biden and
- 23:19Speaker 4: Kamala Harris insisted on closing Guantanamo Bay. Play what Crane
- 23:25Speaker 4: John Pierre says where she acknowledges that and a follow
- 23:29Speaker 4: up on the nine to eleven.
- 23:30Speaker 5: P media of Naus, the president still planned to close
- 23:34Speaker 5: Guantango Bay Prison before you leave office?
- 23:36Speaker 3: And is there a realistic copway.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Because you got him the next six months.
- 23:39Speaker 5: That's still something that the president wants to do and
- 23:42Speaker 5: get done. As far as a timeline, don't have anything
- 23:45Speaker 5: for you here, but obviously this is something that he
- 23:47Speaker 5: wanted to be done under his administration. Just don't have
- 23:52Speaker 5: anything else to read out or preview at this time,
- 23:54Speaker 5: but it is something that he's determined to get done.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Well, there it is centator. They're just admitted it. Yes,
- 24:00Speaker 1: we had to get this done.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Now, we had nothing to do with it other than
- 24:02Speaker 4: we said we're closing the prison he's in, so you
- 24:04Speaker 4: got to do it.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Yeah, because Anne has plans to do it by January
- 24:09Speaker 2: the twentieth, Right, So we're on a time frame here.
- 24:11Speaker 4: We got to get that there's a political priority here.
- 24:14Speaker 4: And so you know when she said, oh, well you
- 24:16Speaker 4: know our hearts go out to the victims' families, Well,
- 24:20Speaker 4: no they don't. He's determined to get this done because
- 24:23Speaker 4: this is a political priority, and and the people who
- 24:28Speaker 4: who are at risk apparently that they're they're not the priority.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I got to ask you a legal question because there's
- 24:33Speaker 2: a lot of people that are going to ask this
- 24:35Speaker 2: in their heads, and I'm going to ask you. Donald
- 24:38Speaker 2: Trump wins reelection, hypothetically he comes in, could he stop
- 24:43Speaker 2: the closing of Gontanomo Bay Number one?
- 24:45Speaker 1: But before you even answer.
- 24:46Speaker 2: That, the second question is is it possible at his
- 24:50Speaker 2: direction and his administration's direction to undo this plea deal
- 24:56Speaker 2: with Khalid Shaik Muhammad? Or once it's done, is this
- 24:59Speaker 2: done and it can not be undone?
- 25:01Speaker 4: So the two questions on the first one, if Guantanamo
- 25:05Speaker 4: was not yet closed, yes, it would be possible to
- 25:08Speaker 4: stop the closing of Guantana. And understand, we have a
- 25:11Speaker 4: military base there that's not closing. But but at Guantanamo
- 25:14Speaker 4: we have have built detention facilities where we have held
- 25:19Speaker 4: UH terrorists from nine to eleven, and and and we
- 25:23Speaker 4: held them there in in part because although it's under
- 25:27Speaker 4: control of the US government, it's not in US territory
- 25:32Speaker 4: in the mainland, and that was part of the reason
- 25:34Speaker 4: they were held there. If the Guantanamo detention facility had
- 25:38Speaker 4: not already been closed, then yes, Trump could reverse that.
- 25:41Speaker 4: But your second question, the answer, unfortunately is no. If
- 25:45Speaker 4: the plea deal is entered into UH and it's it's
- 25:48Speaker 4: agreed to, and and and and a court they plead guilty,
- 25:52Speaker 4: and a court takes that that guilty plea, the fact
- 25:56Speaker 4: that a new president comes in and and and changes
- 25:59Speaker 4: his mind, absent extraordinary circumstances, there's no way to undo that.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Would there be a possibility of charging him with new
- 26:10Speaker 2: or different crimes he maybe hasn't been charged within the past,
- 26:13Speaker 2: or would those statute limitations be gone because there's gonna
- 26:16Speaker 2: be people They're gonna say, we want there to be justice.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, it would depend.
- 26:21Speaker 4: It depends on what is what's covered in this plea
- 26:25Speaker 4: deal and what crimes he's pleading too. So if you
- 26:29Speaker 4: had totally brand new crimes that are not covered in
- 26:32Speaker 4: the plea deal that you could potentially charge him for that,
- 26:34Speaker 4: but that would take the evidence to convict him of
- 26:37Speaker 4: those brand new crimes, and I don't know if we
- 26:39Speaker 4: have that evidence or not.
- 26:41Speaker 2: If you think that Joe Biden cared about the victims
- 26:44Speaker 2: of nine to eleven, I think we've answered that question.
- 26:45Speaker 1: The answer is obviously no.
- 26:47Speaker 2: But does he care about your safety in your security
- 26:51Speaker 2: from other potential terrorist attacks? Well, with the southern border
- 26:55Speaker 2: wide open, I think we can answer that question pretty easily.
- 26:58Speaker 2: But then we get this new shocking report that the
- 27:01Speaker 2: illegal Jordanian migrants who tried to breach Quantico base were
- 27:09Speaker 2: allowed to walk free after posting bail. This is a
- 27:14Speaker 2: national security risk at a high level. And they're like, oh,
- 27:18Speaker 2: you're an illegal, Oh you came in, Oh you're from
- 27:20Speaker 2: a part of the world where there's a lot of terraces.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna let you walk free. How the hell
- 27:24Speaker 1: does this happen?
- 27:26Speaker 4: Well, and this is something we covered on on the
- 27:28Speaker 4: podcast when it happened that that two Jordanian illegal immigrants
- 27:33Speaker 4: we were arrested on May third for trespassing onto the
- 27:38Speaker 4: military installation, onto the Quantico Marine Corps base and they
- 27:43Speaker 4: were handed over to ICE officers because they were illegal aliens.
- 27:46Speaker 4: One of them was Hassan Yusuf Hamdan who's thirty two,
- 27:50Speaker 4: and the other was Mohammed Kair Dabus, who's twenty eight,
- 27:55Speaker 4: and they were just released on bail. Hamdan's bail was
- 28:05Speaker 4: set at fifteen thousand dollars, Dabus's bail was set at
- 28:08Speaker 4: ten thousand dollars. And they were released and let go,
- 28:12Speaker 4: and we'll see if we ever see them again. But
- 28:15Speaker 4: understand Quantico, so it's home to the FBI Academy, it's
- 28:20Speaker 4: home to the FBI Laboratory, it's home to a Defense
- 28:24Speaker 4: Intelligence Agency facility, and it's home to several Marine Corps commands,
- 28:29Speaker 4: including the unit that flies the Marine one presidential helicopter.
- 28:34Speaker 3: So we don't know.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Why they were trying to get onto the Quantico base,
- 28:39Speaker 4: but there are a lot of things there that are
- 28:45Speaker 4: serious national security priorities or law enforcement priorities. And to
- 28:50Speaker 4: have illegal immigrants from the Middle East trying to get
- 28:55Speaker 4: on there, as one federal law enforcement source told The
- 28:57Speaker 4: New York Post, quote time intel failure, security failure. If
- 29:03Speaker 4: it wasn't an act of terrorism, why aren't the government
- 29:06Speaker 4: officials releasing the details of this what was the intent?
- 29:11Speaker 4: And of course Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are not
- 29:14Speaker 4: answering that question that they don't believe apparently that they
- 29:17Speaker 4: owe the American people an answer to that question.
- 29:20Speaker 2: And let's remind the American people of something we played here.
- 29:24Speaker 2: These types of breaches are happening on a shocking regular basis.
- 29:33Speaker 2: And this was the warning that happened on Fox News
- 29:37Speaker 2: from a man wearing a uniform saying back in May, Yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 2: this is happening a lot more than anyone realizes.
- 29:43Speaker 8: Miluntary base is getting penetrated by foreign nationals, is happening
- 29:48Speaker 8: more and more. This is something we see probably two
- 29:51Speaker 8: or three times a week where we're stopping these folks
- 29:53Speaker 8: at the gate a week a week at least, and
- 29:57Speaker 8: this is just Navy alone. We're seeing folks try to
- 30:01Speaker 8: come in and usually the cover story is and I'm
- 30:04Speaker 8: a student, you know, I'm here, I'm an enthusiast, I
- 30:06Speaker 8: want to see the ships. That type of thing. We
- 30:08Speaker 8: have to turn them around and typically we get NCIS
- 30:11Speaker 8: involved with those, and we get biometrics when possible. But yes,
- 30:14Speaker 8: there's been an up.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Taken that did they have passports.
- 30:17Speaker 8: They have a lot of times they have passports, they
- 30:19Speaker 8: have papers, yes, but they're in no way, shape or
- 30:22Speaker 8: form authorized to be on our base. And it's really
- 30:25Speaker 8: hard for us to tell the underlying motive for these
- 30:27Speaker 8: type of cases.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Wow, that's that's stunning.
- 30:29Speaker 5: It is.
- 30:30Speaker 3: It's got to be a concern.
- 30:31Speaker 8: This is Russian, Chinese, it comes from all all these
- 30:35Speaker 8: different nations. We're seeing an uptick in it.
- 30:37Speaker 9: In addition to that, there's been some reporting on this.
- 30:40Speaker 9: Over the last six months. You're getting two or three
- 30:43Speaker 9: drones flying over military bases in America per week.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That is no question happened.
- 30:50Speaker 3: How do you overcome that? Well, you know, we.
- 30:52Speaker 8: Are improving our capabilities to detect that, to defend against that,
- 30:56Speaker 8: to make sure that our folks are trained to actually
- 30:58Speaker 8: counter that. I do this under my authorities from a
- 31:01Speaker 8: US and Northern Command as the component commander for that,
- 31:04Speaker 8: and so I have great reporting on it, and generally,
- 31:07Speaker 8: in general, we believe it's mostly just folks with drones
- 31:11Speaker 8: that are the buying commercially, you know, from Amazon or
- 31:13Speaker 8: whatever the case may be. But it's hard to differentiate
- 31:16Speaker 8: between that and a nation state trying to shore spnom.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I mean, they're acting like this is just normal in
- 31:22Speaker 2: the United States of America now, like, oh, yeah, we
- 31:24Speaker 2: got people coming into bases. We got these terrorists coming
- 31:27Speaker 2: across the southern border on a regular basis on the
- 31:29Speaker 2: Terrists watch list.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Yeah, and media, he said, he says, many of these
- 31:33Speaker 4: are Chinese and Russians. Look, these are organized incursions, organized
- 31:38Speaker 4: incursions targeting our military basis. And in the case of
- 31:41Speaker 4: these two Jordanians, what happened. So they lied to the
- 31:45Speaker 4: guards at Quantico. They claim that they worked for an
- 31:48Speaker 4: Amazon subcent contractor and they were there to make a delivery.
- 31:53Speaker 4: And the officers determined that they were full of crap,
- 31:56Speaker 4: that that was not true. And the men who were
- 31:59Speaker 4: in a box truck ignored the instruction of the guards
- 32:02Speaker 4: and tried to drive directly onto the base before they
- 32:05Speaker 4: were stopped by anti vehicle barriers.
- 32:08Speaker 3: And so, look, this is.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Deeply concerning behavior and the fact that and both of
- 32:18Speaker 4: them were here illegally. Hamdan entered the US illegally at
- 32:23Speaker 4: San Diego. He came across the southern border in April.
- 32:27Speaker 3: But you know what happened. They released him.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Quote due to lack of detention space DUBUS was also
- 32:34Speaker 4: in the US illegally because he overstated his student visa,
- 32:38Speaker 4: and so both of them, for whatever reason, for whatever motive,
- 32:44Speaker 4: they decided they were going to try to breach Quantico.
- 32:50Speaker 4: That they were issued citations for trespassing and told to
- 32:55Speaker 4: appear in federal court in Alexandria, and a magistrate judge
- 33:00Speaker 4: signed off on their release on the condition that they
- 33:02Speaker 4: continue to appear at future court dates and they must
- 33:05Speaker 4: also refrain from trespassing on any government property, including the
- 33:09Speaker 4: Quantico facility. Like this is truly absurd, And as I
- 33:15Speaker 4: said at the outset, this week is a very good
- 33:19Speaker 4: week if you're a terrorist. This week is a very
- 33:22Speaker 4: good week. If you want to threaten the national security
- 33:25Speaker 4: of this country. It's a terrible week if you actually
- 33:28Speaker 4: care about keeping American safe.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Yeah, this is why this upcoming election is going to
- 33:33Speaker 2: be so important in this country.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Don't forget. We do the show Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- 33:38Speaker 2: On those in between days, grab my podcast, The Ben
- 33:41Speaker 2: Ferguson Podcasts will keep you update on the latest breaking news.
- 33:43Speaker 2: We'll keep covering these issues. And as the centaters at
- 33:46Speaker 2: the beginning, this is why we do the show. We
- 33:49Speaker 2: warned you about the real prospect of this plea deal
- 33:53Speaker 2: a year ago, and no one else was talking about it.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Then we had it here for you, so make sure
- 33:59Speaker 2: you had that subscriber auto download button and the Senate
- 34:01Speaker 2: and I will see you back here in a couple
- 34:03Speaker 2: of days
